  Hey, it's my honor to be banished in the basement along

  with you where we belong. So that's right where we where
• 1:03
  we belong. So there's this crazy story
• 1:05
  about silver demand, right? So like we talked about solar,
• 1:08
  we've covered it all. And I know you write extensively
• 1:12
  about all of these subjects, but what's this new source of demand
• 1:16
  that I think all silver stackers, silver investors
• 1:20
  should be paying close attention to?
• 1:22
  Well, we know there's a lot of attention about the transition
• 1:26
  and net zero, and we've all agreed that there's probably
• 1:30
  going to be a mix of some clean energy, some gas, some nuclear,
• 1:35
  even coal, but with cars. You can't turn on the television
• 1:41
  today. I would say 70% of the ads are
• 1:45
  promoting electric vehicles. But the problem with an electric
• 1:48
  vehicle is the time it takes to recharge the battery and the
• 1:54
  expense of the batteries. We're just not sure that the
• 1:58
  lithium ion battery is that good of a battery, especially
• 2:03
  compared to a silver, zinc battery.
• 2:05
  And I'll give you an example. During the Hurricanes in
• 2:08
  Florida, when moisture interacts with a lithium ion battery, they
• 2:14
  explode. That's why in a submarine you
• 2:17
  only see silver zinc batteries. Another way of saying silver's
• 2:20
  superior to the other metals for its coned connectivity and
• 2:25
  thermal properties. So hydrogen fuel cell is even a
• 2:29
  step above the electric vehicle because of quick refueling.

  We're talking Minutes. And compared to sometimes ours
• 2:39
  for an electric vehicle, you have an extended driving range.

  You have high torque, which means, you know, when you step
• 2:45
  on that gas, you're going to accelerate more, so higher
• 2:48
  speed. And then they're super quiet,

  you know, and the first time I was in an electric car, I'm
• 2:54
  like, you know, this is comfortable.

  It's just a quiet ride. But these are even quieter.

  And then the emissions just vapor and much smaller thermal

  signature but the. Obstacle in the marketplace was
• 3:08
  the price, and the price was linked to the fact that they
• 3:12
  were using platinum. Now platinum is about $1000 an
• 3:16
  ounce, Silver is about $23.00 an ounce.

  So silver is 98 times cheaper than platinum.

  So now we've got Silver solving the problem, and you're going to

  see. Oh, by the way, that's the

  extended driving range in the quick refuelling time?

  I have a question for you. Would another benefit to the

  hydrogen fuel cell be that if you need to generate electricity

  to charge an electric car, often times that electricity is
• 4:53
  generated with fossil fuels, whereas the hydrogen fuel cell

  it's an independent system within the car.

  Is that accurate? Yeah, it's just another.

  It's an emerging source of energy and not just for cars,
• 5:09
  but we're looking at heavy duty machinery like you know, earth
• 5:13
  movers because of the torque it can actually the payloads are
• 5:19
  amazing and heating for homes too.

  So it's this is going to be a game changer, just like.

  I liken it to when we stopped. You see those pictures of the
• 5:30
  pioneer women having to chop wood to cook you know or men
• 5:36
  chopping down trees to for the steam.

  Now that was basically coal you know then coal replaced chopping
• 5:43
  down wood. Then the internal cut and bust
• 5:46
  an engine replaces the steam powered engine.

  So I'd say we're almost at one of those sorts of now I don't

  have a degree in. Engineering energy, but I know a
• 5:56
  little bit about it. So I would say this is a game

  changer. And the fact that silver usually

  people say in technologies, well we're going to use copper now
• 6:08
  instead of silver even in solar, there's been discussions about
• 6:12
  that. But then they sort of admit that
• 6:15
  these aren't very good performing solar panels compared
• 6:19
  to the silver load. So they end up reverting back to
• 6:23
  the design that used calls out silver.

  So in this case, if silver comes in 98 times cheaper than
• 6:30
  platinum, and actually in the article you'll see where the

  chemical mix is less sophisticated, making it easier

  to manufacture so without sacrificing any of the
• 6:41
  performance characteristics or physical characteristics.

  All it's like equal for equal yet 98 times cheaper.

  So this is very bullish for silver, silver mining and silver
• 6:54
  stackers too because where are we going to get the silver right

  now As we know, the data by the Silver Institute, a great group

  of people doing this research we all need, shows these monstrous

  deficits year over year in the millions of Oz.

  So and each day I'm publishing a new.

  Piece on trains, on robots, on satellites, aerospace, military.

  I just don't see where we're going to get this silver.

  So, so so the so the the game changing component of this

  hydrogen fuel cell situation is that and this has just been

  coming out in the in this week, in the last few days is that

  they've they've discovered there's a new discovery a way to
• 7:43
  substitute silver for the platinum that had previously
• 7:48
  been used to create these hydrogen fuel cells And and and
• 7:53
  that this technology really has the ability and has some real
• 7:57
  material benefits even when compared to electric cars.

  Is that is that a safe statement?

  First, Mining Gold is a development company advancing
• 8:07
  two of the largest gold projects in Canada, Spring Pole in
• 8:12
  Ontario and Duparque, located in Quebec.

  Each already has 5 million ounces of gold reserves, but
• 8:20
  exploration initiatives are underway at both projects to
• 8:24
  find even more gold. First, Mining is well financed,
• 8:28
  has zero debt and owns an interest in four additional
• 8:32
  Canadian Gold development projects.
• 8:35
  If you were to look at Honda's marketing material, they'll show
• 8:41
  that they're stopped. They're almost phasing out
• 8:43
  internal combustion. And then the next phase is they
• 8:47
  go to the more manufacturing emphasis on hybrid vehicles and
• 8:51
  then a traditional just 100% electric for the 0 emission
• 8:57
  technology. And above that in terms of their
• 9:00
  production schedule starting in about next year is what they're
• 9:05
  calling the Clarity Fuel Cell. So it's just going along the
• 9:09
  evolution. We're gonna, I think the
• 9:12
  traditional electric vehicle is gonna be the the Dodo bird
• 9:17
  dinosaur. But you know and when and when
• 9:20
  you think about electric cars it takes a long time to charge
• 9:26
  them. They use a tremendous amount of
• 9:29
  critical minerals and their battery composition And and I
• 9:34
  wanna come back to this, I think it's important to remember too
• 9:37
  that that, you know, unless you have solar panels on your roof
• 9:40
  that you're using to generate electricity to charge your car,
• 9:43
  if you're a typical suburbanite in a large city, that
• 9:47
  electricity that's being used to generate your car is likely
• 9:51
  being generated by the burning of fossil fuels.
• 9:54
  And. And I want to go back to this
• 9:56
  idea that the hydrogen car doesn't require that burning of
• 10:02
  any, any fossil fuels. Is that is that what you think?

  I'm not saying. I don't think I'm going to say
• 10:07
  that because I need to. I'm writing out my articles
• 10:11
  focused on silver substituting for platinum and hydrogen being
• 10:19
  less charging time, more torque, more speed, more range.

  So you know, anytime you start, I'll give you an example there,

  the recent scientific discovery where.

  Allegedly they were able to ZAP some fusion and get more energy
• 10:39
  out of it. Then allegedly they put in, but
• 10:42
  they forgot to calculate this sort of burning of fossil fuels
• 10:46
  from the grid that went into the zapping.

  So it's it's like what you just said.

  When we see the guy driving around his Tesla, we got to
• 10:55
  remember that it it was most likely a coal burning power
• 10:59
  plant that fed the energy grid in most in most jurisdictions.

  So I'm not going to go as far to say that this is doesn't have a
• 11:11
  fossil fuel equipment, almost everything does.

  There is no way. There is no perpetual motion
• 11:17
  machine, just like nuclear energy to build a nuclear plant.

  We're talking look how much steel you got to put in there,
• 11:24
  look at how much concrete you got to put in there.

  All of that takes an enormous amount of fossil fuel just like
• 11:31
  when you mine for silver and gold.

  That's one thing comfortable to me about holding gold and silver
• 11:38
  is knowing that all that diesel and fossil fuel that goes in to
• 11:42
  mining, it puts a floor underneath the price of silver
• 11:47
  and gold because the all in sustaining cost of mining.

  Is very close to the spot price now for silver it's about 22
• 11:56
  bucks and I think Steve Saint Angelo just pinned a piece last
• 12:01
  week that the top 10s with the exception of Fortuna, most of
• 12:07
  them were right in right at that floor of because of because of
• 12:14
  diesel and labour. It's it's certainly interesting
• 12:19
  as we head into this next decade with the green energy
• 12:23
  revolution, how that will play with the silver market and the
• 12:28
  other precious metals markets. I want to remind our viewers if
