- 0:00Speaker 1: Clarity could be in jeopardy today. We're going to be
- 0:02Speaker 1: breaking that down for you because there might be a
- 0:04Speaker 1: spin on this playing out in a lot of these
- 0:08Speaker 1: races right now in terms of where the market is
- 0:11Speaker 1: going to be going. We'll break it all down for you.
- 0:13Speaker 1: I've got some stuff that you guys don't want to miss.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Let's get started. You've probably heard me mention Uphold before,
- 0:18Speaker 1: and there's a reason I keep talking about them. Uphold
- 0:21Speaker 1: makes it incredibly easy to bridge a gap between your
- 0:23Speaker 1: portfolio and the real world. This has not been done before.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Their Uphold debit card is the best example of that.
- 0:30Speaker 1: It lets you spend your crypto or your cash anywhere
- 0:33Speaker 1: Visa is accepted, all while earning four percent back in
- 0:37Speaker 1: XRP on every purchase. It's the easiest way to stack
- 0:41Speaker 1: rewards on your daily spending. Download the Uphold app for
- 0:45Speaker 1: more and get started. Here's Kristen Smith. This is kind
- 0:48Speaker 1: of the line list of things that have to happen.
- 0:50Speaker 1: This is last week she laid out this roadmap of
- 0:53Speaker 1: the things I had to go on in the Senate
- 0:54Speaker 1: build a Senate package, which is really where we are
- 0:57Speaker 1: right now. They're in the mixt of that get floor time.
- 0:59Speaker 1: That's the big one right now because it is competing
- 1:02Speaker 1: with possible priorities here that may be a problem going forward.
- 1:07Speaker 1: We got to get past sixty votes and then of
- 1:09Speaker 1: course past the Senate resolve in in the House, which
- 1:12Speaker 1: is pretty fast, and then we go to the President's test.
- 1:14Speaker 1: That's what Clarity needs to get going. And this is
- 1:17Speaker 1: the issue right now that we are facing because you're
- 1:20Speaker 1: seeing a little bit of movement down now. Trump has
- 1:23Speaker 1: gone in. Here's on true social real quick. He kind
- 1:25Speaker 1: of talks about the CFTC issue of what he's trying
- 1:28Speaker 1: to do here, but he also aligns this with Clarity,
- 1:33Speaker 1: but he doesn't use the word clarity. He just simply
- 1:36Speaker 1: says importantly, more importantly, we're currently the crypto bitcoin capital
- 1:41Speaker 1: of the world. We got to get this done. So
- 1:43Speaker 1: it does show that he's trying to get this pass.
- 1:46Speaker 1: The problem is that we're probably going to face is
- 1:49Speaker 1: what we're dealing with in terms of potential pushback. And
- 1:53Speaker 1: I'll get into that in a second, because there are
- 1:54Speaker 1: some very key points that could put Clarity at risk.
- 1:58Speaker 1: If you look at the current poly market on Clarity,
- 2:00Speaker 1: it was setting right there at sixty five percent. Then
- 2:03Speaker 1: of course it has fallen nowt to where it's holding
- 2:06Speaker 1: it around fifty seven percent of passing this year. Remember
- 2:10Speaker 1: that the timing. If you guys have been watching the show,
- 2:12Speaker 1: we show these calendars all the time of what's going
- 2:14Speaker 1: on in the Senate and within DC. The timing is
- 2:17Speaker 1: very critical and it starts to lean into a very
- 2:21Speaker 1: problematic time and that, of course would be midterms. That
- 2:25Speaker 1: is why I think we're starting to see a lot
- 2:27Speaker 1: of things break loose. One of the areas that are
- 2:30Speaker 1: going to be breaking loose if you look at Trump's
- 2:32Speaker 1: agenda right now for the rest of the year, this
- 2:34Speaker 1: is the problem could be in serious trouble. And this
- 2:38Speaker 1: includes bugget budget reconciliation packages as well as enforcement operations
- 2:42Speaker 1: through two thousand and nine. There's a lot on the table,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and the ones you have to look at are right here.
- 2:47Speaker 1: These are the four senators who are now causing a
- 2:50Speaker 1: little bit of trouble. You've got Rampaul, Bill Casstid, John
- 2:53Speaker 1: Corn and then Tom Tillis. Now remember and I'll show
- 2:57Speaker 1: this in a second, but Tom Tillis has been one
- 3:00Speaker 1: of the most outspoken. He's gone after Hagsad, he went
- 3:04Speaker 1: after BONDI he's going after a variety of different issues
- 3:08Speaker 1: that are in opposition to President Trump, and of course
- 3:11Speaker 1: this pushes maybe clarity into a bad position if you
- 3:15Speaker 1: look at it. Right here there, of course is a
- 3:18Speaker 1: good example. Democrats are sending out anti crypto mailers. Now,
- 3:23Speaker 1: so anybody who thinks that thems are actually procrypto delusional.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I think there are a handful. Don't get me wrong.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Many of you Democrats out there probably say there are
- 3:31Speaker 1: a few people that are very pro crypto, and I
- 3:33Speaker 1: would agree there are some. But the problem is is
- 3:36Speaker 1: we need sixty votes to get this cross the line.
- 3:38Speaker 1: This is the challenge. And if the Senate is lost
- 3:42Speaker 1: to the Democrats in the midterms, this gets very different
- 3:47Speaker 1: going forward because we would see clarity possibly pushed beyond midterms.
- 3:53Speaker 1: That's the real question mark. So all right, so where
- 3:55Speaker 1: this ties into how the banks and the anti cripto
- 4:00Speaker 1: industry are fighting back. This is a good example of
- 4:03Speaker 1: one of these lobbying groups. More perfect union should be
- 4:06Speaker 1: the not so perfect union. But the Senate is nearing
- 4:10Speaker 1: a Clarity vote, they're hitting on it.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Right here.
- 4:12Speaker 1: You've got celebrities going out saying cryptos for criminals, all
- 4:16Speaker 1: of this is happening right there in front of us
- 4:18Speaker 1: right now. So the point is is that we've got
- 4:21Speaker 1: to be able to get out there and fight against it.
- 4:23Speaker 1: You've got Gary Gesler coming in trying to get the
- 4:26Speaker 1: CFTC situation resolved in a sense to where the states
- 4:30Speaker 1: would be overriding as opposed to the CFTC overwriting prediction markets.
- 4:34Speaker 1: This is the kind of pushback that we are seeing
- 4:36Speaker 1: right now, all right. So there is one potential win here,
- 4:40Speaker 1: and this is a clip that breaks down how they're
- 4:43Speaker 1: meaning they the Democrats are trying to unseat a lot
- 4:47Speaker 1: of these older Democrats that are anti crypto, and it
- 4:52Speaker 1: looks like it's working. Take a look at this one.
- 4:54Speaker 1: We need a new generation of fighters.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Eighty years old.
- 4:58Speaker 1: He has been in public off this for almost fifty years.
- 5:02Speaker 4: It's time for a new generation, y'all.
- 5:05Speaker 5: I need you to vote for Congressman Christian Minifie.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Protect Progress is responsible for the content of this ad.
- 5:13Speaker 1: All right, So Protect Progress go out and check it out, guys.
- 5:15Speaker 1: You go to their website right here. I almost wonder
- 5:18Speaker 1: if this is purposely looking like a nineteen seventies website.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Is that part of the game here? The point is, though,
- 5:26Speaker 1: is there's a lot of support for this. If you
- 5:28Speaker 1: go in and take a look, I'll zoom in on
- 5:29Speaker 1: this for you guys. This is the Protect Progress support
- 5:34Speaker 1: and you've got a lot of different companies that are
- 5:36Speaker 1: in behind this. So one of the big things when
- 5:39Speaker 1: you look at how this particular pact is trying to
- 5:43Speaker 1: fight it off, this was a huge win. And what
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'm getting at here is freshman Congressman Minefie. This is
- 5:50Speaker 1: the person that the guy that was being kind of
- 5:52Speaker 1: supported there by Jasmine Crockett. He unseated a twenty year
- 5:56Speaker 1: in comment. Now, I want you to remember Rep. Al Green.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You guys remember him. We showed him in a lot
- 6:01Speaker 1: of our Senate videos. This guy absolutely was terrible. He
- 6:06Speaker 1: had an f rating on stand with Crypto and right
- 6:10Speaker 1: now fair Shake and the affiliates have dropped around six
- 6:13Speaker 1: and a half million in the race on that race
- 6:15Speaker 1: to get al Green out of there, and he went
- 6:18Speaker 1: against Genius and against Clarity. So the good news is
- 6:22Speaker 1: that we're starting to win some of these younger democratic
- 6:24Speaker 1: seats which could be very pro Crypto. So that's one
- 6:28Speaker 1: of the things that you've got to kind of consider here.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I want to go to a clip that kind of
- 6:32Speaker 1: supports that.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Take a look, we need access to opportunity.
- 6:36Speaker 6: He's financial toots and that's what crypto his position to be.
- 6:41Speaker 2: And I'm from rural eastern North Carolina. I remember the
- 6:44Speaker 2: storm came went to the bank. There was a handwritten
- 6:48Speaker 2: note up that said close due to the storm. Yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 2: we have to get the Senate moving. We need clarity
- 6:55Speaker 2: and we cannot rely upon the courts. We need clarity.
- 7:00Speaker 2: We need it now. Yeah, send it.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Listen to this man, if you look at a bipartisan position,
- 7:07Speaker 1: because we are going to need both sides of the
- 7:10Speaker 1: Senate to really move forward, whether this is going down
- 7:13Speaker 1: the road or not past the midterms. Ken Paxton wins
- 7:17Speaker 1: his race, also backed by Fellowship Pack. He defeated John Corn.
- 7:21Speaker 1: This was another guy that was against crypto. So we
- 7:24Speaker 1: have won. In an essence, here several seats already before
- 7:28Speaker 1: we even go to midterms that are very pro crypto.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Other things I want to hit on right here, if
- 7:32Speaker 1: you look at what is good, because this is where
- 7:35Speaker 1: people I think don't understand how crypto is actually trying
- 7:38Speaker 1: to change people's lives. Now with coinbase, you can get
- 7:41Speaker 1: all are part of your paycheck actually spit split and
- 7:45Speaker 1: dropped in direct deposit into your account, zero trading fees
- 7:49Speaker 1: plus it immediately goes into yield bearing. I mean, what
- 7:52Speaker 1: bank is doing that? None, No bank is out there
- 7:55Speaker 1: helping Americans like this, And I think we're going to
- 7:57Speaker 1: see more of this. I think we're gonna see a
- 7:59Speaker 1: lot more of it coming down the pipeline. You have
- 8:02Speaker 1: so Fi coming in. They opened up their situation here
- 8:05Speaker 1: around their Sofi access to its own crypto stable coin
- 8:10Speaker 1: fifteen million years ers. Another big win. And let me
- 8:12Speaker 1: kind of show something specific. This is available across major networks.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You can withdraw to any Salana or ethereum wallet. What
- 8:19Speaker 1: bank is doing that? This is fantastic because this shows
- 8:25Speaker 1: the evolution of banking. And I think that's the thing
- 8:28Speaker 1: that we have to get in the minds of these
- 8:30Speaker 1: lawmakers to understand how important this truly is. I want
- 8:34Speaker 1: to go to a clip real quick, because this is
- 8:36Speaker 1: sailor getting into the whole topic of how DeFi is
- 8:41Speaker 1: going to help retail, and this goes back into the
- 8:43Speaker 1: thing that I'm getting at here is how crypto is
- 8:45Speaker 1: helping everyday americans.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Take a look the real appeal of tokenization is the
- 8:51Speaker 3: asset holder has the ability to shop for the best
- 8:54Speaker 3: yield and the best credit terms. And then the finance
- 8:59Speaker 3: innovator they can create new types of financial products. They
- 9:03Speaker 3: can trunch. In the DeFi space, you can loop something
- 9:07Speaker 3: five x. Right now, if I have a billion dollars
- 9:10Speaker 3: of Apple stock, I'm getting no yield on it, and
- 9:13Speaker 3: there's no free market in it. It's not like I
- 9:16Speaker 3: can shop it to twenty seven different counterparties on the weekend.
- 9:20Speaker 3: What happens when it tokenizes and it starts to move faster?
- 9:23Speaker 3: What happens when your AI wants to do one hundred
- 9:26Speaker 3: of these things every hour?
- 9:28Speaker 7: Right?
- 9:28Speaker 1: I think the four year cycle has broken.
- 9:30Speaker 3: All the bitcoin is going to be produced between now
- 9:33Speaker 3: and eternity. My company will probably buy it all. There
- 9:36Speaker 3: is no supply.
- 9:37Speaker 7: We're taking it all.
- 9:38Speaker 1: We're tokenized a super institution like this, all right, So
- 9:44Speaker 1: there you have Sailor kind of jumping on the DeFi bandwagon.
- 9:47Speaker 1: He totally gets it in understanding how this is going
- 9:49Speaker 1: to scale. You look at not only that, you can
- 9:53Speaker 1: kind of consider what's going on now with Ripple. They
- 9:56Speaker 1: submitted to a letter to the us SEC Crypto task
- 10:00Speaker 1: for trying to get clear guidelines on these non security
- 10:03Speaker 1: status token I securities. And let me kind of show
- 10:05Speaker 1: you something here real quick. I'll jump into the document
- 10:08Speaker 1: because there's a very specific thing on a highlight here
- 10:11Speaker 1: providing analysis illustrating a two percent haircut for stable coins
- 10:14Speaker 1: remains punitive, meaning they're basically penalizing stable coins. Stable coins
- 10:19Speaker 1: should have a zero percent haircut. Think about money markets,
- 10:22Speaker 1: et cetera, that we'll be able to utilize this kind
- 10:26Speaker 1: of technology leaping forward. So trying to get a level
- 10:29Speaker 1: playing field here, and I think if clarity goes through
- 10:32Speaker 1: and we continue to see the regulatory framework, Remember the
- 10:37Speaker 1: law gets passed and then the bureaucats in a lot
- 10:39Speaker 1: of these agencies have to go in and decipher what
- 10:42Speaker 1: the law means, write policy, and that's what goes out
- 10:46Speaker 1: to the banks all through the CFTC, et cetera. All
- 10:49Speaker 1: of this is very important moving forward, and this is
- 10:52Speaker 1: just another big example of it. All right, So going
- 10:55Speaker 1: back to that clip and to the SAALO clip for
- 10:58Speaker 1: a second. Remember the HOS was asking what about all this,
- 11:01Speaker 1: and what she meant was what about tradfi? What about
- 11:05Speaker 1: the way that the stock market? The DTCC works, etc. Well,
- 11:10Speaker 1: that actually is now starting to change as well. But
- 11:13Speaker 1: there is a caveat to this which I think is
- 11:15Speaker 1: a little bit different. Take a look at this clip.
- 11:18Speaker 6: And starting in the first half of twenty twenty seven,
- 11:21Speaker 6: DTC tokenized assets are expected to be available on the
- 11:24Speaker 6: Stellar network, US treasuries ets tracking major indices constituents of
- 11:30Speaker 6: the Russell one thousand on a public blockchain with the
- 11:34Speaker 6: same investor protections, entitlements, and safeguards as those that are
- 11:37Speaker 6: currently held in custody today.
- 11:40Speaker 1: All right, so a couple of things to be aware of.
- 11:43Speaker 1: First of all, the fact that this is going live
- 11:46Speaker 1: in twenty twenty seven. I mean, that's another six months,
- 11:49Speaker 1: seven months away. Why not now. It also is going
- 11:53Speaker 1: to integrate the likelihood of KYC, and it's twenty four
- 11:57Speaker 1: to five. So I don't get how this is really
- 12:00Speaker 1: and advance. So I'm glad for Stellar because this is
- 12:02Speaker 1: a good move, But at some point I almost wonder
- 12:05Speaker 1: if this is intentional in the sense of slowing down
- 12:07Speaker 1: tech overall. Remember we've played some DTCC clips here on
- 12:11Speaker 1: the show. I don't know that they're truly fond of
- 12:14Speaker 1: how this market is starting to pan out, especially with
- 12:17Speaker 1: everybody pushing in this direction. If you look at what
- 12:20Speaker 1: liquid is doing, DeFi has pretty much already leaped ahead
- 12:26Speaker 1: of where the DTC says they're going to be next year.
- 12:29Speaker 1: But they've done it. Now take a look.
- 12:31Speaker 7: I'm Franklin and today we're introducing co invest, the first
- 12:35Speaker 7: way to trade directly through your AI. Co invest plugs
- 12:38Speaker 7: directly into chat gybtn clot to help you analyze the market,
- 12:42Speaker 7: think through a trade, and place it instantly, all in
- 12:45Speaker 7: one chat every market, anyone, anywhere, anytime.
- 12:48Speaker 4: It's going to ask you some questions about your investing preferences.
- 12:52Speaker 4: So it's asking my risk tolerance, I'll say moderate, it's
- 12:55Speaker 4: asking my time horizon, I'll say medium term, and then
- 12:58Speaker 4: I'll say equities and commodities. Once it's done, this research
- 13:01Speaker 4: is going to suggest some trades. It's us suggesting as
- 13:04Speaker 4: short on oil, which it thinks that it thinks the
- 13:07Speaker 4: price of oils is going to come down. And then
- 13:09Speaker 4: it's suggesting a long on goal to sort of hedge
- 13:11Speaker 4: away some of this uncertainty.
- 13:14Speaker 1: All right, so you can kind of see we are
- 13:16Speaker 1: in the midst of really a new financial revolution. I
- 13:19Speaker 1: think of how tools are going to be out there
- 13:22Speaker 1: to make you and I be able to work much
- 13:25Speaker 1: more efficient. You can probably work as hard as you
- 13:27Speaker 1: are right now trying to do trades, but you're going
- 13:28Speaker 1: to get better at it. And I think this is
- 13:29Speaker 1: the kind of thing that's going to skip past the
- 13:32Speaker 1: traditional Wall Street and tradfy system. You look at Bill Hughes,
- 13:36Speaker 1: he's talking about it right here. What lawyer agreed to
- 13:39Speaker 1: this point him out. You can kind of see some
- 13:41Speaker 1: of the points he's getting at. He cited this issue
- 13:43Speaker 1: right now with the CFTC no action letter for Phantom
- 13:47Speaker 1: in supporting Liquid's view that it does not need to
- 13:49Speaker 1: register as a broker or in exchange in all fifty states.
- 13:53Speaker 1: So interesting stuff right now. I wonder if they're skirting it,
- 13:56Speaker 1: if it's a situation that just hasn't been outlined yet.
- 13:59Speaker 1: But I wonder how much this is going to leap
- 14:02Speaker 1: forward and push a lot of different financial institutions and
- 14:07Speaker 1: the fintech industry into maybe next generation finance going forward.
- 14:12Speaker 1: All right, So when you consider innovation and what all
- 14:15Speaker 1: this is going to look like going forward, new regulation obviously,
- 14:18Speaker 1: new tools, what kind of tokens should be in your portfolio?
- 14:22Speaker 1: Here's GSR breaking it down. Take a look.
- 14:25Speaker 5: GSRS, a thirteen year old crypto marketmaker, one of the
- 14:28Speaker 5: original ones. We wanted to answer the question that we
- 14:31Speaker 5: get all the time, what crypto should I own? Everybody
- 14:34Speaker 5: asks us, our friends, our relatives, people outside the industry,
- 14:37Speaker 5: and we keep coming back to your core portfolio should
- 14:40Speaker 5: have Bitcoin, Ether, Solana? Get your staking rewards for Ether
- 14:45Speaker 5: and Solana. And then we threw in active management to
- 14:48Speaker 5: help tilt the portfolio to anticipate market conditions. So for
- 14:52Speaker 5: all that in one ETF it can be a core
- 14:54Speaker 5: holding for most folks.
- 14:56Speaker 1: All right, So this is an interesting play because it's
- 14:59Speaker 1: an actively managed fund. You look at what Bitcoin has
- 15:03Speaker 1: been doing year to date. You'll notice right up there
- 15:06Speaker 1: in the top right that's fourteen percent down. Guys, right there,
- 15:10Speaker 1: fourteen percent down year to date. You consider GSR quick
- 15:14Speaker 1: run right here at GSR Crypto, the core three only
- 15:19Speaker 1: nine percent down year to date. So does this portfolio
- 15:22Speaker 1: actually perform better because it's being actively managed across those
- 15:27Speaker 1: three core assets. That is something that I think we're
- 15:30Speaker 1: going to see a little bit more activity on in
- 15:34Speaker 1: the near future. All right, So let's take a look
- 15:36Speaker 1: at the Blackrock USD. I just showed this USD Institutional
- 15:40Speaker 1: Digital Liquidity Fund. Okay, if you look at I mean
- 15:43Speaker 1: there's Blackrock. Guys, we're talking about right now two bill
- 15:46Speaker 1: in assets overall setting at about one hundred These are
- 15:49Speaker 1: all institutions. What are they doing this on in terms
- 15:52Speaker 1: of chain? Well, if you look further into this, you
- 15:54Speaker 1: can start to see some growth right here, and the
- 15:56Speaker 1: growth is coming on Avalanche each right there. If you
- 16:01Speaker 1: compare the split right now, Eth still holding the lead,
- 16:04Speaker 1: but Avalanche just leaps over Solana quickly. So this again
- 16:08Speaker 1: gets back into the point I'm getting at, which is
- 16:10Speaker 1: an opportunity for many of these new assets to make
- 16:13Speaker 1: it to the next level. One other thing to kind
- 16:15Speaker 1: of compare is Swee. Swee is going all in on
- 16:19Speaker 1: more of the agentic side of things. When we talk
- 16:22Speaker 1: about AI and integration and where transactions are going to happen.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Most likely this could be the place. Here's a Daniell
- 16:31Speaker 1: hitting on this zero gas, any Cender machine, Hume doesn't matter.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Stable coins now move freely on Swee. That'd be a
- 16:37Speaker 1: big deal because AI is going to be making so
- 16:39Speaker 1: many transactions free is best. That's one of the things
- 16:43Speaker 1: I think you have to watch if you're considering SWIE
- 16:47Speaker 1: as a potential opportunity, here listen. A lot is happening
- 16:50Speaker 1: this week and a lot more. I'm trying to get
- 16:52Speaker 1: back in studio. I'm out this week, trying to cover
- 16:55Speaker 1: some things as we're starting to move some stuff around
- 16:57Speaker 1: get even more advanced for you guys, so we will
- 17:00Speaker 1: be covering much much more, So stay tuned. If you
