Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: It's a podcast call twenty five whist so stuck in
- 0:07Speaker 1: football and they are were a whist So, yeah, it's
- 0:10Speaker 1: too bad, But what did you expect?
- 0:13Speaker 2: It's a podcast call twenty five whistles twenty wine. This
- 0:20Speaker 2: is an episode. We're not getting paid for it. Yeah,
- 0:22Speaker 2: next week though, I'm meant told we're.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Back, Oh next week for five weeks? Okay, wow, let's
- 0:27Speaker 1: go not official.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I well, I mean wait, I emailed and I said
- 0:32Speaker 2: when do we come back? And they said first week
- 0:37Speaker 2: of March, which is next week. And I said how
- 0:39Speaker 2: much are we getting paid? And they were like, I
- 0:41Speaker 2: don't know. And I was like, wait, well I don't
- 0:43Speaker 2: like that. I know, right, So I'm waiting for the
- 0:45Speaker 2: accounting to come back.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Don't we tell them though, don't we go like one
- 0:49Speaker 3: million dollars?
- 0:51Speaker 2: I think the deal we did with them for all
- 0:54Speaker 2: of last year, it's probably that. Plus No, it's probably
- 0:59Speaker 2: broken down, like extrapolated into five weeks. If we signed
- 1:04Speaker 2: a deal that was twenty weeks last time, it's probably
- 1:06Speaker 2: one fourth of it. I don't know.
- 1:07Speaker 3: But bones like when you buy something at a store,
- 1:09Speaker 3: you're like they usually go like, all right, you can
- 1:11Speaker 3: buy one for twenty dollars or you can buy ten.
- 1:14Speaker 2: You want to negotiate, go ahead, No, no, I don't.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I come and do this stuff for free some time.
- 1:18Speaker 2: No no, No, back on regular schedule a bit starting
- 1:22Speaker 2: next week. I think we do five weeks for college
- 1:24Speaker 2: basketball and the Masters. I think that's what the what
- 1:26Speaker 2: the plan.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Is, are they sending us to the Master?
- 1:28Speaker 3: I means we go?
- 1:28Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think so. However, what I do
- 1:31Speaker 2: think that after that we either do another deal with them,
- 1:33Speaker 2: or we take this thing independent. Yeah, and we all
- 1:37Speaker 2: just own a piece of it and see how big
- 1:40Speaker 2: we can make it, because right now we don't. We
- 1:41Speaker 2: don't make any money based off of the streams. We
- 1:46Speaker 2: make it based off DraftKings owns this show and they
- 1:50Speaker 2: just pay us.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So you're telling me the sky is the limit if
- 1:52Speaker 1: we own.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It, I would say space is a limit.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Does that mean that we have to go as sales
- 1:57Speaker 3: representatives and go find our own spots?
- 1:59Speaker 2: No, mean to hit a certain amount. When we hit
- 2:01Speaker 2: a threshold, then they can sell it to people who
- 2:04Speaker 2: want to get in this category. Got it right, mikey yep.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I have a lot of stuff that's exciting. Do you
- 2:10Speaker 2: have to we have it. We're on a quick schedule
- 2:11Speaker 2: here because I just threw this each you guys.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I have to, Yeah, I got what do you have?
- 2:16Speaker 5: I'm going to sign the final paperwork on the house.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, let's go. Then let's go even fifteen.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You can leave now we can so we can do
- 2:24Speaker 1: it without you. Man.
- 2:26Speaker 2: So the golden whistles we got last episode. I wore
- 2:29Speaker 2: mine and I have the lanyard and I didn't get
- 2:31Speaker 2: it make it a chance small chain. I made it
- 2:33Speaker 2: a long lanyard.
- 2:34Speaker 3: But the chain looks gold. Huh, what material is that?
- 2:37Speaker 3: Because it looks like it's gold.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Is like nylon plated.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Oh that's awesome.
- 2:44Speaker 2: So I have each of you guys because I got
- 2:46Speaker 2: them the longer. I didn't want to get a short one.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I thought for whearing. I'm like whistles. That's where I'm like,
- 2:53Speaker 2: you really wear a whistle. But I wanted it to
- 2:54Speaker 2: be gold, and I couldn't find like a real gold
- 2:56Speaker 2: chain that wasn't this big, that wasn't like so expensive.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I got gold plated chains to go with your full
- 3:02Speaker 2: gold whistles. So I do have these for you guys, one, two, three,
- 3:05Speaker 2: And then I have reads four, So take these today
- 3:08Speaker 2: before you leave.
- 3:09Speaker 5: So we need to go to like the SEC tournament
- 3:11Speaker 5: or something again, that's here Nashville, right, and wear that.
- 3:14Speaker 2: If you wear them outwardly, they may take it from
- 3:16Speaker 2: you because you can't wear a whistle into the stage, but.
- 3:19Speaker 1: You can tuck it in.
- 3:19Speaker 2: That's what I did.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll hide it.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yeah, show starts.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah, we need to wear these though. That's that resembles
- 3:27Speaker 3: our club, like the Whistles Club.
- 3:30Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's like
- 3:32Speaker 2: we may have to go independent.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Right, what do you call him? You're ordering pizza, starving dude, Peperoni, mushroom.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I'm trying to call it Read, Oh big weekend. He's
- 3:52Speaker 2: not here up where we're recording right now. So I
- 3:57Speaker 2: just we just wanted to talk to you for a second.
- 3:59Speaker 2: So Read got engaged over the Yeah, how did it go, buddy?
- 4:06Speaker 4: It was amazing.
- 4:07Speaker 6: It was amazing. It I we so her mom and
- 4:12Speaker 6: her sisters helped, like set up, and so I was
- 4:14Speaker 6: planning to get to the site around five o'clock and
- 4:18Speaker 6: I had it all planned out, and then they ended
- 4:21Speaker 6: up leaving something behind and so they were like, you
- 4:23Speaker 6: need to stall. So I literally just like drove in
- 4:25Speaker 6: circles for like twenty minutes, and I was like, don't
- 4:28Speaker 6: worry about where we're going.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It's surprise.
- 4:30Speaker 2: And did she know? She was like, okay, she had
- 4:33Speaker 2: an idea.
- 4:35Speaker 6: She knew it was gonna be like the next like
- 4:38Speaker 6: handful of times that I come up there. But I was,
- 4:41Speaker 6: I was driving in circles and she was just like
- 4:44Speaker 6: you were. She was like, you're not going anywhere, You're
- 4:46Speaker 6: literally just driving circles. I'm like, I don't know what
- 4:48Speaker 6: you're talking about. She's like, we've literally just passed this sign.
- 4:51Speaker 6: I was like, no, that's uh, that's definitely that's a
- 4:54Speaker 6: different sign. That's not the same one.
- 4:57Speaker 2: But anyway, it went some we nervous.
- 5:02Speaker 4: I was, I was super nervous.
- 5:04Speaker 2: So, Tony, you parked a car. Did you just park
- 5:06Speaker 2: in a parking lot or side of the road away?
- 5:09Speaker 6: Yeah, well, uh, there's near the garden. There was like
- 5:12Speaker 6: a there's a couple of parking spots across the street.
- 5:15Speaker 6: So once we got closed, I just made her close
- 5:17Speaker 6: her eyes and then I just like walked her in.
- 5:20Speaker 2: At that point, Yeah, yeah, yeah for sure. So were
- 5:24Speaker 2: you in Louisiana.
- 5:27Speaker 6: Ah, yep, I'm leaving Louisiana right now. I got about
- 5:30Speaker 6: four hours until I back.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Oh no, so what's up. You can drive through a casino.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Let drive through Misissippi.
- 5:36Speaker 4: He called himself on himself.
- 5:37Speaker 2: He did. He called Reid called the gambling hotline on himself.
- 5:42Speaker 1: That's right, that's right, because not because.
- 5:45Speaker 2: He has a gambling problem, which I do suggest if
- 5:47Speaker 2: you do call, do that. But Reid was like, I
- 5:50Speaker 2: just don't even give myself the option to bet in
- 5:51Speaker 2: the money that I just went. And so, Mike, did
- 5:54Speaker 2: you know this? No, I didn't call the one hundred
- 5:55Speaker 2: gambler number, Reid, will you tell them what happened? Yeah?
- 6:00Speaker 6: So after the Super Bowl, you know, I had already
- 6:04Speaker 6: spent the money on a ring and all this, so
- 6:06Speaker 6: the funds were not funding at the time, and I
- 6:11Speaker 6: was just like I was, I found myself wanting, wanting
- 6:13Speaker 6: to gamble more than I felt like I should.
- 6:17Speaker 2: I responded, Yeah, go ahead, I appreciate that.
- 6:20Speaker 6: And so I'm like, you know, if I'm gonna do it,
- 6:23Speaker 6: I just yeah, I gotta go big and I gotta
- 6:26Speaker 6: have them suspend my account. So so I called and
- 6:29Speaker 6: and then I think they really want you to not
- 6:32Speaker 6: do that, because even after I told him to do that,
- 6:35Speaker 6: I went and checked and it was still there, and
- 6:39Speaker 6: so I called again and was like, hey.
- 6:41Speaker 2: So it's not gone.
- 6:43Speaker 6: They were like oh uh yeah, why don't you try now?
- 6:47Speaker 2: And so then it was gone.
- 6:48Speaker 6: So I'm like, and they know what they're doing.
- 6:50Speaker 2: So you called, you called the number, and what do
- 6:52Speaker 2: you say to them?
- 6:55Speaker 6: Uh?
- 6:55Speaker 2: I just told them like how do they answer?
- 6:58Speaker 6: Like?
- 6:58Speaker 2: How can I help you? Are you in this?
- 6:59Speaker 1: Cry?
- 7:00Speaker 2: Says what's up?
- 7:01Speaker 3: Yes?
- 7:02Speaker 6: Well they answered just like normal, like like customer service.
- 7:07Speaker 6: And I was like, hey, uh, my name is Reed.
- 7:13Speaker 4: I'm sure, and it's like.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I'm not an I'm not an addict, but.
- 7:20Speaker 6: I found myself using your app quite frequently, and I
- 7:26Speaker 6: don't have enough money to sustain myself as far as
- 7:30Speaker 6: how much I'm betting, So I would like to do
- 7:33Speaker 6: the responsible thing and suspend my account, like okay, yeah,
- 7:37Speaker 6: no problem, excise us a few minutes and should get
- 7:40Speaker 6: an email and check your account and it should be suspended.
- 7:44Speaker 2: So thirty minutes, Oh that's all you waited? Was thirty minutes?
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yeah? I wait, thirty minutes.
- 7:49Speaker 6: I wasn't gonna bet though, I was just checking I
- 7:51Speaker 6: was checking to see.
- 7:52Speaker 4: If it was actually gone.
- 7:53Speaker 1: So when they said try now, like did you do
- 7:55Speaker 1: a sample bet?
- 7:56Speaker 6: Like?
- 7:56Speaker 1: How did you try? Now?
- 7:58Speaker 6: No? I just so whenever it's suspended, you just like
- 8:02Speaker 6: sign in like normally, and then it'll literally just pop
- 8:04Speaker 6: up and say your account is locked?
- 8:06Speaker 1: Got it?
- 8:07Speaker 2: And how long is it locked? Locked for? Now?
- 8:10Speaker 6: See, there's two things. You can temporarily lock it, which
- 8:15Speaker 6: is kind of dumb because to unlock it, you can
- 8:19Speaker 6: literally just like change your password and or something like that.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Or you can permanently do it, which it's not really permanent.
- 8:27Speaker 6: You can contact him again and they'll be like are
- 8:30Speaker 6: you are you? Are you good?
- 8:32Speaker 1: Now?
- 8:32Speaker 6: You're good?
- 8:33Speaker 4: And you yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It. So it's like, yeah, now so you are still
- 8:41Speaker 2: locked out. I'm locked out. You know you didn't want
- 8:44Speaker 2: to spend more money than you had? Could you spend
- 8:45Speaker 2: all on a ring? But he had made a bunch
- 8:46Speaker 2: of money during the Super Bowl. Usually when I start
- 8:48Speaker 2: to feel like, oh I shouldn't be gambling, it's because
- 8:50Speaker 2: I lost the lot. It's because it's because I gone
- 8:53Speaker 2: through a bad spell, and I'm like, and I I
- 8:56Speaker 2: have the willpower not everybody does to just stop because
- 8:59Speaker 2: I'm like this is you know, I'm doing this for entertainment.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Read knowing his weakness, says he does not have the
- 9:06Speaker 2: willpower to stop. He didn't just delet the phone. He
- 9:08Speaker 2: didn't just he just said, please lock me out.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 9:11Speaker 6: But I mean there were a couple of times that
- 9:14Speaker 6: I did start chasing, and that's when I was.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Like, Okay, good for you for realizing this time.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Yeah. So it's when I like I had one money
- 9:21Speaker 6: like at one point, like I think it was I
- 9:25Speaker 6: don't know, like six months ago or something like that,
- 9:27Speaker 6: I had won like eighteen hundred dollars like a couple
- 9:29Speaker 6: of days, and then I was just like I was
- 9:32Speaker 6: just going big for the next couple of days, and
- 9:34Speaker 6: I probably lost like eight or nine hundred of that.
- 9:36Speaker 2: And I was like, Okay, but you weren't really chasing
- 9:38Speaker 2: to you're playing with house money. I mean you yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 2: I know. That's how that's how that's how conservative he is,
- 9:43Speaker 2: how careful he is.
- 9:44Speaker 1: That's good.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I appreciate it.
- 9:45Speaker 5: So that snl skid. You guys see that from over
- 9:47Speaker 5: the weekend, Yeah, I thought of read when I saw that.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Read just yeah, we're proud of you because I think
- 9:53Speaker 2: our listeners could learn a lot, Like if you're having
- 9:55Speaker 2: an issue and you like I can't control it, it's
- 9:57Speaker 2: hard to make that call, But make that call. Make
- 9:59Speaker 2: that h absolute.
- 10:00Speaker 6: I mean, I'm still gonna hit the casinos.
- 10:03Speaker 4: The easiest game ever.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I and you know Calcutta all that. But yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 6: just to being able to just sign on and.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Just whenever you want place to bet. Good for you, buddy,
- 10:13Speaker 2: I had to chill out for a minute. Yeah, you're
- 10:16Speaker 2: a good example. And then now you're engaged.
- 10:18Speaker 6: I am man.
- 10:19Speaker 4: I am thanking forever. Baby.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Any chance on knowing when you're getting married.
- 10:27Speaker 6: She's thinking June of next year, not this year, next year,
- 10:30Speaker 6: so it'll still be a while.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, well we'll see it tomorrow or whenever
- 10:34Speaker 2: we got a new episode. Too much access up today.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Yeah, tell them to bring my Florida state stuff.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Eddie says, bring his Florida state stuff they
- 10:40Speaker 2: gave for his kid that you took.
- 10:41Speaker 6: I'd do. It felt a little heavier.
- 10:44Speaker 2: So we came and got the back for me and
- 10:45Speaker 2: I was like just like extra small small. It's like
- 10:47Speaker 2: all right, yeah, all right, buddy, congratulations.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Thank you, I'll see you guys soon.
- 10:55Speaker 2: All right by Buddy Kevin, I need to leave right
- 10:58Speaker 2: now now.
- 10:59Speaker 4: I got him?
- 11:00Speaker 2: Is watching The Dynasty. Oh yeah, I'm caught up, you are.
- 11:04Speaker 2: It's really good. Yeah, so on Apple Plus it's New
- 11:08Speaker 2: England Patriots The Dynasty and it starts with when Robert
- 11:12Speaker 2: Kraft bought the team and how bad they were and yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 2: so Bledsoe era hiring a Bell. Oh, it's the whole
- 11:19Speaker 2: first episode is about Drew Bletsoe being the starting quarterback,
- 11:21Speaker 2: the hundred million dollars they've paid.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Yeah, my favorite part about that not to be one
- 11:26Speaker 5: episode of were spoiling.
- 11:28Speaker 2: It's spoiling because we all know the story, I'll say,
- 11:32Speaker 2: but it's not even history. It's like recent sports.
- 11:35Speaker 5: But the reason I like that so much without giving
- 11:37Speaker 5: detail is they explained why Tom stuck at quarterback, which
- 11:42Speaker 5: they never really knew stuck at quarterback. They kept him
- 11:45Speaker 5: in there when Drew got healthy and was able to
- 11:47Speaker 5: come back, but they stayed with Tom Brady, so Belichick explains,
- 11:51Speaker 5: and Ernie Adams explains why they stuck with Tom instead
- 11:54Speaker 5: of Drew, which I never knew then.
- 11:56Speaker 2: I remember Tom Brady getting hurt and Drew Bletsoe coming
- 11:59Speaker 2: in and winning, and then the big deal was who's
- 12:01Speaker 2: gonna be the quarterback for the super Bowl Super Bowl
- 12:04Speaker 2: and it was Tom Brady and.
- 12:05Speaker 1: We're like, wow, yeah, he took them all the way
- 12:06Speaker 1: to the championship.
- 12:07Speaker 2: It's all there. It's I'm not a Patriots fan. I'm
- 12:09Speaker 2: not a Patriots hater. I think there's probably a brief
- 12:11Speaker 2: time where I was kind of annoyed that they were
- 12:12Speaker 2: all over everything. But I like to watch greatness because
- 12:16Speaker 2: you get to say you saw it. I didn't like
- 12:18Speaker 2: the Bulls that much. Well was happening, But then I
- 12:19Speaker 2: was like, this is cool because now I get to remember.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I remember when the Balls winning all the championships, Like
- 12:23Speaker 2: I was watching that. Yeah.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I loved that period of the Patriots though, because they
- 12:27Speaker 3: went from the worst team in the NFL to like
- 12:29Speaker 3: relevant and they had a new logo and everything.
- 12:31Speaker 1: It's really it was cool.
- 12:32Speaker 5: And they talk about that, like how America wanted them
- 12:35Speaker 5: to win the Serison. Yeah, twenty years later it's like America.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Eight, Oh yeah too much?
- 12:40Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, all right, guys, you got your one. You're good.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Tom Brady is so much better looking now than he
- 12:44Speaker 2: was young. It's like, for sure, glow up. It's good.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it's really good.
- 12:50Speaker 1: That's on Apple.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Uh yeah, and I think I think it's a maybe
- 12:53Speaker 2: a ten episode series, but they do two a week.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I finished all six. I watch them on goggles.
- 13:00Speaker 4: No sent me a video of him playing, like, I
- 13:03Speaker 4: don't even know how you sent that.
- 13:04Speaker 2: It's it's it's it's wild the future, Oh my god,
- 13:08Speaker 2: the future. Right, wait for two years.
- 13:10Speaker 1: It's the future, man.
- 13:11Speaker 2: So now there's battery pack attached to it. But literally
- 13:14Speaker 2: I can watch and nothing just it's there's the oculus.
- 13:17Speaker 1: If you guys ever had that, yeah, yeah, play ping
- 13:19Speaker 1: pong on that.
- 13:20Speaker 2: The Oculus would be like Atari and this now, I
- 13:25Speaker 2: don't know about the newest version of the docuiness that
- 13:27Speaker 2: I had last year. This is PS five and you
- 13:31Speaker 2: can move everything around. It's it is. It's you use
- 13:34Speaker 2: your eyes. You don't use your hands. You can use
- 13:36Speaker 2: your hands to click, like you just touch your fingers
- 13:39Speaker 2: and it's like you're double clicking something. But if you're
- 13:41Speaker 2: like going to stuff, you just chose your eyes. What
- 13:42Speaker 2: have you been doing watching the documentary? I put it
- 13:46Speaker 2: on check email. I'll watch TikTok.
- 13:48Speaker 1: How are you listening to it. You got a bluetooth
- 13:50Speaker 1: or someth or does that go over your ears too?
- 13:53Speaker 2: No, so if no one's in the room, it just
- 13:55Speaker 2: plays kind of externally into your ears. But if my
- 14:00Speaker 2: wife is laying next to me, because I read my
- 14:02Speaker 2: book on it too, because I use iPad, you read
- 14:04Speaker 2: goggles on, swap my finger. I put AirPods in automatically. Okay.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And so you're watching a TV in the goggles, dude,
- 14:11Speaker 1: it's not just a TV.
- 14:13Speaker 2: It feels like it's one hundred five hundred inch screen
- 14:15Speaker 2: in front of you. It doesn't look like you're putting
- 14:17Speaker 2: on and watching something in a viewfinder. And you can move.
- 14:22Speaker 2: All you have to do is like take the corner
- 14:24Speaker 2: and you can stretch it. It looks like a TV
- 14:26Speaker 2: in the room. You can also see the rest.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Of the room if you want, so you can turn
- 14:29Speaker 1: it around and look at your wife.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and she doesn't like that, but she hates me
- 14:32Speaker 2: wearing them.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gotta be weird, dude.
- 14:35Speaker 2: It's weird. Do you ever see And they're heavy? They
- 14:38Speaker 2: are heavy, but I'm saying they're awesome. But for me,
- 14:41Speaker 2: it's just so exciting about what's about to happen in
- 14:43Speaker 2: the next few years, of the next generations of these things.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I wouldn't. I don't think I would recommend anybody to
- 14:48Speaker 2: stretch themselves and pay thirty five hundred bucks for them
- 14:50Speaker 2: or whatever I paid. It's not worth a stretch. It's
- 14:55Speaker 2: awesome for me. I have to stretch. So I just
- 14:58Speaker 2: bought it, and I was like, let's just go, and
- 15:00Speaker 2: I'm glad I did. But if someone's like, I don't know,
- 15:03Speaker 2: I can only buy this or eat, I'd be like, eat, man, eat,
- 15:07Speaker 2: and I would let you guys see mine. But the
- 15:09Speaker 2: thing is, I have bad vision. I don't for my
- 15:11Speaker 2: glasses in it, and so I ordered prescription eyes and
- 15:14Speaker 2: they put the eyes boo right in there. Oh. So
- 15:16Speaker 2: it's the first thing I haven't had to wear glasses
- 15:17Speaker 2: for forever. So it didn't hurt my face. That's really oculous.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I had to wear glasses for Wow. You can want
- 15:23Speaker 2: I watch three games at once NBA games I forgot,
- 15:24Speaker 2: so I have so you can put all the games
- 15:27Speaker 2: up like like screens, and lordally I have to do
- 15:29Speaker 2: is just turn and look at the other one in
- 15:30Speaker 2: front of you, like.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Three different TVs almost in your room.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like three. You put up five if you want.
- 15:35Speaker 2: But you're also emailed, all right, And if an email
- 15:37Speaker 2: comes in and you just grab it, move it over,
- 15:39Speaker 2: do it. It is.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And then if you want ice cream, you can walk
- 15:42Speaker 1: over to the kitchen while you're watching it.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I don't walk And no, there's no ice cream oh yet, no, no, no,
- 15:47Speaker 2: the ice cream is real in your kid. Oh yeah,
- 15:49Speaker 2: But you can get up and walk while you're still
- 15:51Speaker 2: watching it. So you have a button you can push
- 15:53Speaker 2: that's like cinema. It shuts off everything. It's all dark
- 15:54Speaker 2: except the screen. Or you can leave it up and
- 15:57Speaker 2: you can see everything around you. Really. Yeah, And you
- 16:00Speaker 2: can make your screen smaller if you want to see
- 16:01Speaker 2: even more, like obviously the screen is gonna take a
- 16:03Speaker 2: big part of it. But if you're like I want
- 16:04Speaker 2: to go walk around, you can move this shrink to screen,
- 16:07Speaker 2: put it up in the corner, watch it while you're
- 16:08Speaker 2: still walking to talk.
- 16:09Speaker 1: That's it.
- 16:10Speaker 4: That's what makes me.
- 16:11Speaker 1: You have to eat, no, no, no, no, nervous, we're done eating.
- 16:13Speaker 5: I'd be so worried about wearing those but not knowing
- 16:16Speaker 5: what's around me. But if you can see what's around you,
- 16:18Speaker 5: that's dangerous.
- 16:19Speaker 2: It is damn it. It's crazy. It's just crazy what's
- 16:22Speaker 2: about to happen. And I've only gotten to like seven
- 16:25Speaker 2: percent of it. I've literally watched the done social media
- 16:28Speaker 2: and down the watch Patriots because I was gone all weekend.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Two and the first night, my wife and I were
- 16:33Speaker 2: arguing about some book where some argument about a book
- 16:35Speaker 2: or something, not like a fight that we're both were
- 16:37Speaker 2: just arguing about some interpretation. But I was arguing with
- 16:41Speaker 2: the glasses on the glass, I can't and I was like,
- 16:44Speaker 2: I'm not taking them all. You're like, I can't tell
- 16:45Speaker 2: if you're looking at me. Hilarious.
- 16:48Speaker 1: That's really funny.
- 16:50Speaker 2: One other thing, what times you're eating twelve thirty?
- 16:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like ten minutes on the street.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I do want to talk about the Kyle Filipowski injury.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Whenever Wake Forest ends up beating Duke and they all
- 16:59Speaker 2: run the court, everybody caught up with what happened.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Yes, and he I don't know how injured he is,
- 17:04Speaker 1: but I saw it happen.
- 17:05Speaker 2: As of today, I don't know what they're saying, but
- 17:08Speaker 2: his knee was injured. And now they're talking about storming
- 17:12Speaker 2: the court policies, which they're penalizing school like Arkansas did
- 17:16Speaker 2: it a hundred thousand dollars. That does hurt. However, here's
- 17:19Speaker 2: what I want to say about this one. Both can
- 17:20Speaker 2: be true to where yes, we should have some sort
- 17:24Speaker 2: of policy where you can't just storm the court every
- 17:27Speaker 2: game because people can't get hurt. However, he's only hurt.
- 17:31Speaker 2: He's hurt tripped the person. He tried to trip and
- 17:34Speaker 2: forum shiver the fan and that's how he got hurt.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Oh he did that, Yeah, because the upper view from
- 17:38Speaker 2: the top, because at first it was like, oh god,
- 17:41Speaker 2: when they go above cam. He is a douche move.
- 17:44Speaker 2: He stuck his leg out and then try to like
- 17:47Speaker 2: forearm shivers them. My personal opinion, what is your personal opinion?
- 17:52Speaker 5: Yeah, he sticks his legout like even straightens it out, yes,
- 17:55Speaker 5: to try to get the guy. And then he gets
- 17:57Speaker 5: hit and he just I don't know how hurt he is.
- 17:59Speaker 5: I don't want to say anything, but then he you know.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Sells it definitely, but definitely put that fan over wrestling,
- 18:05Speaker 2: put him over I think had he not done that. Again,
- 18:10Speaker 2: all up to interpretation, we could be very wrong. It
- 18:12Speaker 2: looks like he's sticking his leg out to trip the
- 18:14Speaker 2: fan and his arm comes around to like who.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:16Speaker 5: It's funny because the first time you see like, oh
- 18:18Speaker 5: my gosh, and then you watch it again you're like, oh, wait.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Over the top, I'm the one that made me go, oh,
- 18:23Speaker 2: you gotta be kidding.
- 18:23Speaker 1: But but if you're a player and you see crowd
- 18:27Speaker 1: coming to storm the court.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Like what usually happens is when that's gonna happen, the
- 18:30Speaker 2: coach gets him off the court.
- 18:32Speaker 3: It was too quick, dude, correct, I mean he literally
- 18:34Speaker 3: had just had the ball and like the buzzer went off,
- 18:37Speaker 3: just you just get off the court.
- 18:38Speaker 1: No, he couldn't.
- 18:39Speaker 3: They couldn't move, Like, dude, they ran so quick on
- 18:41Speaker 3: that court. And I'm thinking, like, yes, it's dirty and all,
- 18:44Speaker 3: but the final scoring that game, that was like a
- 18:48Speaker 3: point game, right.
- 18:48Speaker 4: He also turned the ball over in the game.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Yes, I'm saying they second, And I get at your
- 18:54Speaker 2: trump who cares? Who cares? What My theory is here?
- 18:56Speaker 2: You get him off the court. Let's say you're losing
- 18:58Speaker 2: about eight with two seconds left, call time out for
- 19:00Speaker 2: somebody eighty three seventy nine. Oh it's kind of close.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, it was close the entire way.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I still you just know you have to create rules.
- 19:09Speaker 2: You can let people storm the court, but there has
- 19:11Speaker 2: to be the security there for one minute to.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Get yes sports, because I saw one game I don't
- 19:17Speaker 3: know Kansas State, maybe I don't remember who it was,
- 19:19Speaker 3: but they knew that it was about to happen because
- 19:21Speaker 3: it was a huge upset and they got ropes, and
- 19:25Speaker 3: so like all the security guys, they're like, all right,
- 19:27Speaker 3: get ready, we got five minutes to get this ropes
- 19:29Speaker 3: to rope together because it's going to happen.
- 19:31Speaker 1: And then once the kids saw the ropes, there was
- 19:33Speaker 1: no storming.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Like one kid tried to get under the rope, they
- 19:36Speaker 3: got him, and they got him like that was how
- 19:38Speaker 3: they did it.
- 19:39Speaker 1: So I think you can prepare for that.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it had there has to be a bit of
- 19:42Speaker 2: time to let them off. And you shouldn't let people
- 19:44Speaker 2: storm the court unless it's like a real like this one.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I get. That's fine, it was a big one. I've
- 19:49Speaker 2: storm the court, offstrom the field. It's awesome. The one
- 19:51Speaker 2: you fell, yeah, brought my leg on. I've done other
- 19:55Speaker 2: times too. But I agree that there's got to be
- 19:58Speaker 2: some new rule set. You guys can storm, but wait,
- 20:03Speaker 2: sixty seconds yeah, and then let them storm.
- 20:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:06Speaker 2: But after watching it, it was like, dude, you kind
- 20:09Speaker 2: of did that main.
- 20:10Speaker 3: But then they couldn't carry him off, like they were
- 20:11Speaker 3: all just like, let let us move, and they couldn't.
- 20:14Speaker 1: There too many people.
- 20:14Speaker 4: John Shire was about to fight somebody.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:16Speaker 2: We were at the basketball game. My father in law
- 20:18Speaker 2: and I went to the Arkansas basketball game and the
- 20:23Speaker 2: Caleff battle who did our too much? Access scored forty
- 20:25Speaker 2: two points was wild. And so we're sitting on the
- 20:29Speaker 2: court around mid court. They're the best seats I've ever
- 20:32Speaker 2: had there. I've set close to court before, but usually
- 20:34Speaker 2: baseline ish because those seats usually season ticket holder seats.
- 20:37Speaker 2: But for some reason, one of the coach was like,
- 20:39Speaker 2: I got these courtside right in the middle if you
- 20:41Speaker 2: want them. We're like, heck, yeah, let's go. So we
- 20:42Speaker 2: sat there and there was a ball out of balance
- 20:44Speaker 2: and a player and this guy was sitting next to
- 20:46Speaker 2: my father in law. Player nailed him, spilled all over himself.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I laughed so hard I couldn't stop laughing, and the
- 20:53Speaker 2: guy was pissed. Like the player came over as the
- 20:56Speaker 2: miso every player and he had like two beers and
- 20:59Speaker 2: it went all over and I was like, and I didn't,
- 21:04Speaker 2: And then I realized the guy didn't like me laughing.
- 21:06Speaker 2: But I couldn't stop. It was laughing at church and
- 21:08Speaker 2: you can't stop. And yeah, dude, it was so funny.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Territory though it was so funny.
- 21:13Speaker 2: It was all overs closed the whole game. I thought
- 21:17Speaker 2: it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Now,
- 21:19Speaker 2: I thought, if it happened to me, how would I feel.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Probably still think it's funny. I'd just be annoyed that
- 21:22Speaker 2: I was wet, but he was like annoyed. Annoyed, but
- 21:23Speaker 2: it's like, that's part of that you're there. Part of
- 21:26Speaker 2: the risk is you could get spilled or have their
- 21:28Speaker 2: balls in your head or anything.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm with you, dude, that's funny.
- 21:30Speaker 2: It was. I couldn't You could tell it was my
- 21:33Speaker 2: first time in those seats because I could not stop
- 21:35Speaker 2: laughing and I was standing up. But inappropriate times I
- 21:39Speaker 2: kind of had to be told, Yeah, the games on
- 21:44Speaker 2: the other side of the court, you're only allowed to
- 21:45Speaker 2: stand up and be like because and you can hit
- 21:48Speaker 2: a referee very easily. They're running six inches from your
- 21:51Speaker 2: feet and they're not paying attention. To you nothing, They're
- 21:53Speaker 2: flying and then I hung out one of the reference
- 21:54Speaker 2: from Nshville hung up with them after the game a
- 21:55Speaker 2: little bit, and that's cool. They were super nice, nice.
- 21:58Speaker 2: It wasn't even the ref that I.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Know really well really yeah, Oh that's awesome.
- 22:01Speaker 2: We were just going back to the back of the
- 22:03Speaker 2: arena and they were coming out and I was like,
- 22:04Speaker 2: what up. This guy was like, how'd you get a
- 22:06Speaker 2: gold whistle? God? He said, how'd you get a gold whistle?
- 22:09Speaker 1: Let me tell you?
- 22:10Speaker 2: And I was like part of a little show called
- 22:12Speaker 2: twenty five Whistles. He goes, you're not a referee. I
- 22:14Speaker 2: was like no, They goes, non, we don't have those.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I said, well, you know, the twenty four whistles sell
- 22:17Speaker 2: them to come and hang out. And then he was like,
- 22:20Speaker 2: do you know so and so they got from Nashville
- 22:23Speaker 2: and I was like, I do, uh, sports therapist like
- 22:26Speaker 2: a physical therapist that I've used to and he was like,
- 22:28Speaker 2: she's great. And so then I met the other guys
- 22:30Speaker 2: when we hung out and they were headed home.
- 22:31Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 22:32Speaker 2: It's cool. Yeah, took a big picture together. I wish
- 22:34Speaker 2: I would have taken one, but I don't want to
- 22:35Speaker 2: post me with them on social media because people are like,
- 22:37Speaker 2: of course at the game, yeah you want the one
- 22:39Speaker 2: that you want, so was out of respect to them. Yeah.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Did you all see the fight the Cam Newton No, no, no, no,
- 22:46Speaker 3: the Miami heat fight.
- 22:49Speaker 2: No.
- 22:49Speaker 5: I just saw people got suspended. But I hadn't even
- 22:51Speaker 5: seen the video.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys should watch the video. It's crazy. I mean,
- 22:53Speaker 1: it's no malice in the Palace, but players, Oh yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 1: it's players. Yeah. I don't even know who was involved.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I saw Jimmy Butler was in it.
- 23:00Speaker 4: But because you got suspended.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I think Zion Williamson was going to go for
- 23:03Speaker 3: a dunk and Kevin Love hugged him.
- 23:06Speaker 2: It Williams, right, Williamson wims yeah right.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Why does that feel weird?
- 23:11Speaker 2: I don't know, but I get it's Williamson Williamson, Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 23:14Speaker 3: No, He's going up for a dunk, like an easy dunk,
- 23:16Speaker 3: and Kevin Love just hugs him like uhh and like.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Fo I did see that, because no, I saw the
- 23:21Speaker 2: aftermath where he was like, Kevin Love do that on purpose?
- 23:24Speaker 2: He didn't do that on purpose. Yeah, they're like he's
- 23:25Speaker 2: not a we don't We're good that was a foul is.
- 23:28Speaker 1: A hard face, it was. It was just a regular sid.
- 23:30Speaker 2: He tried to save him going down, but it looked
- 23:32Speaker 2: like he was like slamming him, right, but I never
- 23:34Speaker 2: saw it.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Yeah, so then it went chaos. Dude, Then like you know,
- 23:36Speaker 1: a bunch of players started fighting. It was awesome.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Zion's being dramatic basketball players.
- 23:42Speaker 2: They are pretty deva. Did Cam Newton beating up three dudes?
- 23:45Speaker 2: So what was that seven on seven on the street?
- 23:49Speaker 4: Like that's his tournament.
- 23:50Speaker 2: It's like a little yeah, a little tent at a
- 23:52Speaker 2: tournament and there were young guys. I don't know why
- 23:54Speaker 2: they ended up jumping them, but three dudes jumped him
- 23:56Speaker 2: and you just see him hole one and a headlock,
- 23:57Speaker 2: gob another and a headlock, and finally the cops got
- 23:59Speaker 2: there and split him up. But and he's wearing his hat.
- 24:01Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, his cool hat.
- 24:04Speaker 4: His hair is popping out of the hat.
- 24:06Speaker 1: So Cam like he was gonna win that one if
- 24:08Speaker 1: they would have let it go.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I assume I watched a UFC deal where one dude
- 24:12Speaker 2: fought three dudes. Oh yeah, not UFC, M m A.
- 24:15Speaker 2: And it was in Russia and he was a weight
- 24:17Speaker 2: class higher than them. But he fought three guys and
- 24:19Speaker 2: what he did was it hurt him a little bit
- 24:21Speaker 2: at first, but he took one. Dude just submitted immediately
- 24:23Speaker 2: why I was getting pounded by the other two. And
- 24:25Speaker 2: so then it was just him versus two, and he
- 24:27Speaker 2: kind of took him down one by one, and Cam
- 24:29Speaker 2: was a bit doing that when he had one in
- 24:30Speaker 2: a headlock and it was six forces.
- 24:33Speaker 1: He's a monster.
- 24:34Speaker 5: He made a living literally out of like dodging the
- 24:36Speaker 5: biggest people in the world.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I saw funny. It was like Bro had no
- 24:39Speaker 2: offensive line for all these years.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Yeah, like, come on, that's funny.
- 24:44Speaker 2: All right, that's it. I'm gonna le Kevin go buy
- 24:46Speaker 2: a house. Congraduations, Thank you, he got engaged.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'm getting divorced. A lot of big developments, man.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Life changing moments with you.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Not yet from these jersey buying I don't know. Close
- 25:03Speaker 2: get your necklaces. I'll save reach for tomorrow. And there's
- 25:07Speaker 2: a new episode of Too Much Access up with Belmont,
- 25:09Speaker 2: which is really good.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Yeah, they're fired up too, they are. Yeah, they text me, Oh.
- 25:13Speaker 4: My god, we love it.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Hey, Mike, do we want to put this up today?
- 25:17Speaker 2: This is what we just did right now? Yeah, do
- 25:19Speaker 2: we do even with the post show? Yeah, okay, good deal,
- 25:24Speaker 2: cool man. Well, usually Mike and I have a system
- 25:27Speaker 2: of we don't and I like it because it is
- 25:28Speaker 2: very current. We don't put it up on the same
- 25:30Speaker 2: day we do a full post show because it's just
- 25:31Speaker 2: like so much up there at once. But I think today,
- 25:33Speaker 2: I think you're it's very today. It's very today. All right,
- 25:36Speaker 2: congrats everybody. Eddie sorry by the way,
