Welcome to nature daily wager. I ain't picking winners but I am
• 0:10
making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is 8's daily wager for June
• 0:21
6th, 2025 and 1st want to give a solemn remembrance.
• 0:28
Remembrance of D-Day 81 years ago when many of our
• 0:32
grandfathers, great grandfathers, just general all
• 0:35
around badasses at the beaches and D-Day and went in there and
• 0:40
kicked the shit out of some Nazis.
• 0:42
So hats off to you all. Thank you for the sacrifice that
• 0:45
you made to overthrow authoritarian dictator and give
• 0:50
us the last 80 years of awesomeness.
• 0:54
All right, Speaking of awesomeness, last night was
• 0:56
awesome, at least for me. Not so much for the Oklahoma
• 0:59
City Thunder folk, but we had the Pacers, we had the points,
• 1:04
we sprinkled the money line and we took the under.
• 1:06
Guess what all three hit? You know what even hit?
• 1:10
One of my table tennis bets last night, or not one of, but my
• 1:13
table tennis bet of last night also hit.
• 1:16
It was glorious. It was great.
• 1:17
Awesome. So let's see if we can keep that
• 1:21
momentum as we head into tonight's action.
• 1:23
We're back on the hockey, back to the singular, to the NHL
• 1:27
Final, Stanley Cup Final, and still.
• 1:31
Toss. Up again and I'm I'm going to
• 1:34
keep riding the Panthers. Tell you what, just what I'm
• 1:36
doing. They were close last time and
• 1:39
came up a bit short, but I mean, pushing A-Team like Edmonton to
• 1:43
the brink, into overtime in their home, in their home barn,
• 1:46
as they say, I think warrants me giving them another chance.
• 1:50
I was going to flip flop, but I'm sticking, sticking with the
• 1:52
Panthers. Also, you know, they're from the
• 1:55
good old USA. So we're going to go Florida
• 1:58
Panthers on the money line -110 against the Edmonton Oilers in
• 2:03
tonight's NHL Stanley Cup Final action.
• 2:07
See anything better than that? Found it.
• 2:08
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:10
And no, it was not over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
