A bus plowed through a median at Richmond’s GRTC Downtown Transfer Station, crashing into a bench and another bus—sending 10 people on the first bus to the hospital, plus 6 others nearby. Thankfully, injuries are non-life-threatening and the second bus driver walked away unscathed. The station shut down for hours as police, fire, and transit crews investigated the chaos, setting up temporary stops on Ninth Street while repairs began.
