- 0:00Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN, Youngstown.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Guardians up 1-0 as we reach the fourth inning here
- 0:17Speaker 2: in downtown Cleveland, and Gavin Williams goes back to work
- 0:20Speaker 2: facing Jonathan Aranda, who takes a breaking ball strike on
- 0:24Speaker 2: the outside corner. Aranda bounced to first his first time up, Williams,
- 0:30Speaker 2: a little bit of trouble last inning, but worked around it.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Here's the 0-1.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Swing and a miss. And it's 0-2 as he went
- 0:38Speaker 2: back to the curveball that time.
- 0:39Speaker 3: A beauty.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Yandy Diaz next, then Jake Fraley. Tough part of the
- 0:45Speaker 2: lineup here for the Rays. As the 0-2 is on
- 0:49Speaker 2: its way. Swung on, chopped foul at home plate.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Will do it.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Again on 0-2 to Aranda. 27 years of age out
- 0:58Speaker 2: of Mexico, and the breakthrough season for him was last year.
- 1:01Speaker 3: He was an all-star.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Here comes the 0-2 from Gavin Williams. Fastball upstairs. 1-2
- 1:14Speaker 2: the count. Jim Rosenhouse along with Tom Hamilton on a
- 1:18Speaker 2: dreary afternoon at Progressive Field, but we are getting this
- 1:21Speaker 2: one in.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Here's the 1-2.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Swing and a miss. Strike three. Blew it right by him.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Aranda's down on strikes. The third for Gavin Williams. Yandy
- 1:35Speaker 2: Diaz will step in. Ryan Motze is up the street
- 1:40Speaker 2: at command center. Might need to go to the lighthouse
- 1:43Speaker 2: first to find it. It is foggy downtown today. These
- 1:49Speaker 2: teams are playing through it. They're going to get this
- 1:52Speaker 2: series in. The pitch to Diaz. On the inside corner
- 1:55Speaker 2: for a strike. He did not look good early in
- 1:59Speaker 2: the week based on the forecast, but we're in the
- 2:02Speaker 2: window of some dryness here, so we get the game going.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Here's the 0-1.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Swung on, line to right. De Lauder is right there,
- 2:11Speaker 2: makes the catch. Diaz retired for the second out in
- 2:14Speaker 2: the inning.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Why, you just hope this weather holds off and the
- 2:18Speaker 3: Cavs get their game in. gets any foggier like it
- 2:24Speaker 3: was earlier, they won't be able to get to the arena.
- 2:30Speaker 3: He'll be putting out the foghorns for the Cavaliers.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Here comes the left-handed hitting Jake Fraley, and he takes
- 2:38Speaker 2: a pitch outside for a ball.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I didn't even know Canada likes basketball. They were going
- 2:44Speaker 3: crazy this weekend when we were up there playing the Cavs.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Here's the 1-0.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Outside 2-0. Thursday night, I went out to you, I
- 2:57Speaker 2: was looking for just a place to watch hockey and basketball,
- 3:02Speaker 2: the same place. 30 screens at least, and every one
- 3:05Speaker 2: of them had the basketball game on. No playoff hockey
- 3:08Speaker 2: in Toronto, Canada. That's how much they love their Raptors.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Here's the 2-0.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Swing and a miss. 2-1 the count.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Who were the Maple Leafs playing?
- 3:19Speaker 3: That might have been the issue.
- 3:21Speaker 2: They finished 29th out of 30 teams this year in
- 3:24Speaker 2: the NHL. And here's the 2-1. Swung on, ripped in
- 3:31Speaker 2: the right side, hole on through into right.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Field, a base.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Hit.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Fraley's aboard with a sharp single to right. Keeps the
- 3:40Speaker 2: inning going. And that's a crisis up there. It's been
- 3:45Speaker 2: a while since the Maple Leafs have won a Stanley
- 3:48Speaker 2: Cup and a They've had a hard time even getting close.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Here's Cedric Mullins. Lying to center his first time up.
- 3:58Speaker 3: How many teams make the NHL playoffs? About half.
- 4:02Speaker 6: 16.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Throw to first.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Good throw.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Got him at first base. Oh, I don't think Fraley
- 4:12Speaker 2: likes it, but he's picked off. Gavin Williams for a
- 4:16Speaker 2: big man. Has an excellent move to first. And we'll
- 4:20Speaker 2: wait and see if Kevin Cash wants to challenge. He
- 4:23Speaker 2: does not. Side retired. We head to the bottom of
- 4:27Speaker 2: the fourth inning.
- 4:28Speaker 3: 1-0 Cleveland.
- 4:30Speaker 7: When you tell someone what team you cheer for, do
- 4:32Speaker 7: they apologize? Does your first childhood memory involve crying on
- 4:35Speaker 7: a jumbotron? Then you may be a fan of a
- 4:38Speaker 7: BST or bad sports team. Luckily, when you bundle your

- 5:46Speaker 3: Didn't know what to do with new meds prescribed and
- 5:49Speaker 3: no real cost clue.
- 5:50Speaker 10: She squinted at prices.
- 5:53Speaker 11: That can't be right.
- 5:54Speaker 10: Then tapped GoodRx and saw the light.
- 5:58Speaker 4: She can get a deal with telehealth if she feels.
- 6:00Speaker 10: Learn about those meds without any stress.
- 6:03Speaker 11: That one little app does all the rest.

- 6:09Speaker 10: Dang, save time and money on prescriptions.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Check GoodRx. GoodRx is not insurance. News Radio 570 WKBN Youngstown.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Mon-El Martinez steps in. Bottom of the fourth. 1-0 Cleveland.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Facing Drew Rasmussen. Tampa Bay's right-hander fires away. And there's
- 6:32Speaker 2: a swing and a liner out toward right center. But
- 6:35Speaker 2: it hangs up there. And making the catch is Fraley,
- 6:38Speaker 2: the right fielder, moving over.
- 6:41Speaker 12: What do you think?
- 6:42Speaker 3: It takes a cannon to get.
- 6:44Speaker 5: One out of here today.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Thank goodness gracious. It's cold, damp, wind blowing in. Travis Bazzano,
- 6:55Speaker 2: the batter, bounced a second his first time up. Robbed
- 6:59Speaker 2: of a base hit on a great play by Richie Palacios,
- 7:02Speaker 2: his second baseman. Here's the pitch, and it's swung on,
- 7:06Speaker 2: and that one's chopped a second. Easier play this time
- 7:09Speaker 2: for Palacios, who flips on to first. Two quick outs
- 7:13Speaker 2: for Rasmussen here in the fourth. Ole Miss play ball weekend.
- 7:18Speaker 2: It's coming up June 5th. through the seventh, encouraging youngsters
- 7:22Speaker 2: everywhere to get out and play.
- 7:25Speaker 3: You can visit.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Playball.org to register for a free event near you. Here's
- 7:30Speaker 2: Bo Naylor. Bounced to first his first time up. The
- 7:35Speaker 2: pitch to him. Fastball, outside corner, strike one.
- 7:38Speaker 3: 94, and it looks.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Easy from Drew Rasmussen.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Here's his pitch. Off speed. Just missed outside.
- 7:52Speaker 2: High maybe. Fiducia wants to challenge. Our first challenge of
- 7:57Speaker 2: the day. Is it a ball?
- 8:02Speaker 12: No.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Good challenge by the Rays. It's a strike.
- 8:06Speaker 2: So Fiducia, they thought it was, and it was upheld.
- 8:13Speaker 2: An overturn, and Naylor's in the count in the hole 0-2.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Here's the pitch to him. Swing and a miss. Strike three. Well,
- 8:23Speaker 2: that was fast. Three up, three down. Holy smokes.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Five pitches.
- 8:29Speaker 2: We head to the fifth. 1-0 Guardians.
- 8:36Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN Youngstown.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Guardians up 1-0 trying to salvage the finale. this three-game
- 8:50Speaker 2: series with the Rays. A couple of one-run games have
- 8:53Speaker 2: gone Tampa Bay's way. And now the Guardians up by
- 8:56Speaker 2: a run as we start the fifth with Cedric Mullen
- 8:59Speaker 2: stepping in for Tampa Bay. Gavin Williams lets it fly
- 9:02Speaker 2: and is breaking balls low and in for ball one.
- 9:05Speaker 5: I know this is.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Irrelevant, but should weird Al Yankovic have his music ever
- 9:14Speaker 3: played between innings at a ballpark? Here's the 1-0.
- 9:19Speaker 2: On the inside corner for a strike, 1-1.
- 9:22Speaker 3: If your name is Weird Al, you're disqualified from ever
- 9:26Speaker 3: having your music played. Here's the 1-1 pitch. Outside, 2-1.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Edith was being played between innings here at the ballpark.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Didn't Michael Jackson do a pretty good version?
- 9:47Speaker 3: He did.
- 9:48Speaker 2: There's a swing and a high fly ball. Oh, Kwon
- 9:50Speaker 2: went back, slipped, recovers. He's coming in, and he makes
- 9:54Speaker 2: the catch. That could have been tricky. That's a couple
- 9:57Speaker 2: of players now we've seen. slip in the outfield. It
- 10:01Speaker 2: hasn't proved costly. And Kwon made a nice recovery there.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Another one rides the bus. I like that one by
- 10:09Speaker 2: Weird Al.
- 10:09Speaker 4: That was a good one.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I'm sure you have a poster up of Weird Al
- 10:15Speaker 2: in your bedroom.
- 10:16Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 3: He had this entire... Library of Music, which..
- 10:21Speaker 5: On vinyl.
- 10:21Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 10:22Speaker 3: What's that, one?
- 10:23Speaker 2: Richie Palacio steps in, and he's first pitch swinging. Raps
- 10:26Speaker 2: one on the ground to Bazana at second. Backhand pickup
- 10:29Speaker 2: throws him out at first. Two up, two down as
- 10:32Speaker 2: Williams continues to be extremely economical. 51 pitches, and he
- 10:39Speaker 2: has two down here in the fifth.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Do you think maybe the hitters are all saying, look,
- 10:43Speaker 3: both these guys throw strikes and... This is miserable swinging
- 10:48Speaker 3: the bat in this weather. Try to get something early.
- 10:52Speaker 2: They are not falling behind 0-2. That's no way to go.
- 10:55Speaker 2: So they're trying it early.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Up to the plate.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Paducha bunts foul off to the third base side. Little ouchies, fidgets,
- 11:04Speaker 2: and sensory tools are made to support self-regulation. Designed and
- 11:08Speaker 2: manufactured right here in downtown Cleveland. Little ouchies, squeeze, roll, relief.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Paduccia hit by a pitch his first time up. 1-0 Cleveland.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Fifth inning. Here's the pitch. Breaking ball inside corner for
- 11:24Speaker 2: a strike. And it looked like Paduccia was thinking about
- 11:30Speaker 2: challenging but thought better of it. 0-2 the count on him.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Williams delivers. Swing and a missed strike three. Another strikeout
- 11:42Speaker 2: for Gavin Williams, his fourth, and he sets the side
- 11:45Speaker 2: out in order again. Four and a half complete in
- 11:49Speaker 2: downtown Cleveland. It's the Guardians' one, the Rays' nothing.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Hi, Max the Bald Eagle from Marathon here. We asked
- 11:57Speaker 4: people if they could do an impression of me.
- 11:59Speaker 11: Have a listen.

- 13:39Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN Youngstown.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Guardians up by a run. Sack fly from Kyle Manzardo
- 13:53Speaker 2: in the third innings. The difference is Brian Rocchio leads
- 13:56Speaker 2: it off. He scored that run in the third after
- 13:59Speaker 2: a leadoff single. Here's the pitch to him. He swings
- 14:02Speaker 2: and fouls it back for strike one. An infield single
- 14:07Speaker 2: stolen base. He advanced to third on a ground out
- 14:10Speaker 2: and scored on the sack fly by Manzardo. And it's
- 14:14Speaker 2: that type of day. Both pitchers really looking sharp. Here's
- 14:17Speaker 2: the 0-1. Outside 1-1. And they have the track records
- 14:23Speaker 2: where you kind of thought runs would be hard to
- 14:25Speaker 2: come by. Not the easiest day to hit today. Damp, chilly, windy.
- 14:31Speaker 4: The 1-1.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Swung on.
- 14:33Speaker 2: There's a chopper right side. Scooped up by Aranda. Bobbles it.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Flips to the first base bag, but Rasmussen can't come
- 14:41Speaker 2: up with it. It rolls toward the dugout, but Rasmussen
- 14:44Speaker 2: was able to snare it before it rolled in there,
- 14:47Speaker 2: so it's just first base for Rocchio, but first base
- 14:51Speaker 2: just the same on his second infield hit on the day.
- 14:57Speaker 2: So back to the top of the order for Stephen Kwan,
- 15:00Speaker 2: and we'll see if He gives Rocchio a chance to
- 15:03Speaker 2: steal a base again as the Rays are laboring with
- 15:10Speaker 2: their ability to throw out opposing base stealers. Rocchio, two
- 15:15Speaker 2: for four on the season. Here's the pitch. Breaking ball
- 15:20Speaker 2: strike on the outside corner to Kwon. Kwon's 0 for 2.
- 15:24Speaker 2: He's lined to center and bounced to first. Guardians lead
- 15:30Speaker 2: 1-0 here in the 5th. Last day of a short homestand.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Quick throw to first. Diving back in is Rocchio. Enbridge
- 15:39Speaker 2: Gas Ohio wants to remind you, whether you're an individual
- 15:43Speaker 2: or a contractor, state law requires that you call 8-1-1
- 15:47Speaker 2: before you dig to have underground utilities marked. It's simple
- 15:50Speaker 2: and free. Just dial 8-1-1. Here comes the 0-1 to Kwan.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Swung on line. Base hit right field. Maybe more. On
- 16:04Speaker 2: his way to second. Motoring to third is Rocchio. Trying
- 16:08Speaker 2: for two is Kwon. He's in with a stand-up double.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Second and third for the Guardians with nobody out here
- 16:16Speaker 2: in the fifth. We were with us earlier leading off
- 16:21Speaker 2: the bottom of the first inning. Kwon hit a really
- 16:24Speaker 2: sharp line drive to center that was caught. And That
- 16:30Speaker 2: seems to have been a good indicator of his day today.
- 16:33Speaker 2: He's had excellent at-bats. And now the Guardians have an
- 16:37Speaker 2: opportunity to pad that lead with the infield in for
- 16:40Speaker 2: Tampa Bay. Chase DeLauder at the plate. Here's the pitch
- 16:44Speaker 2: to him. Swung on and missed. Strike one. DeLauder with
- 16:48Speaker 2: the home run cut. Been a while between home runs.
- 16:53Speaker 2: He has the five on the season. They came in
- 16:55Speaker 2: the season's first week. That last one coming in the
- 16:59Speaker 2: home opener against the Cubs. Here's the 0-1.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Way upstairs.
- 17:04Speaker 12: 1-1.
- 17:05Speaker 2: But with that said, DeLauder has been getting his base hits.
- 17:10Speaker 2: A single earlier today. Also a walk. Came in hitting
- 17:15Speaker 2: over 300 in his last seven. Here's the 1-1. Swung
- 17:22Speaker 2: on and that's lined foul over to the Guardians dugout.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Third base side. That sent him scattering And it's 1-2
- 17:30Speaker 2: on De Lauder. Outfield straightaway for Chase De Lauder. And again,
- 17:38Speaker 2: the infield is in. Big hole on that third base
- 17:41Speaker 2: side of the infield. Here's the pitch. In tight. 2-2
- 17:47Speaker 2: the count.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Rasmussen. Sets at the belt. Here's his pitch.
- 18:04Speaker 5: Swung on.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Ground ball up the middle. Base hit into center. Rocio scores.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Right behind him is Kwon. He scores.
- 18:12Speaker 2: It's a two-run single through the drawn-in infield for Chase DeLauder.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And the Guardians grab a 3-0 lead. Now they have
- 18:26Speaker 2: struggled in this series to come up with the key hit.
- 18:29Speaker 2: In fact 0 for 9 with men in scoring position.
- 18:33Speaker 2: But De Lauder delivers. And that's two on the board
- 18:37Speaker 2: this inning. A 3-0 lead and now Jose Ramirez steps in.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Here's the pitch.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Off speed outside corner for a strike.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Now De Lauder leads the club and runs batted in.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I mean yeah he hasn't been hitting the home run
- 18:53Speaker 3: but Gosh, this is a heck of a rookie start.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Here's the pitch to Ramirez, and it's down low for
- 19:01Speaker 2: a ball.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Rosie, you wonder, too, what might happen this weekend. The
- 19:06Speaker 3: ball flies out of that ballpark. It's a minor league
- 19:09Speaker 3: ballpark in Sacramento. That could be a weekend where the
- 19:13Speaker 3: hitters get healthy.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Looks like the weather's going to be great. Here's the 1-1.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Swing and a miss.
- 19:20Speaker 18: 1-2.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Well, and.
- 19:25Speaker 2: He mentioned a lot of not with the home runs,
- 19:29Speaker 2: but the average is there, and he's not striking out.
- 19:32Speaker 2: He's giving himself a chance. And right there, just a
- 19:35Speaker 2: simple ground ball through the middle with the drawn-in infield,
- 19:38Speaker 2: and it plates a pair of runs. Here's the one-two.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Swing and a miss. Strike three. Chase the curve in
- 19:48Speaker 2: the dirt.
- 19:49Speaker 5: Ramirez.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Is down on strikes for the first out in the inning.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Brings up Kyle Manzardo. Sack fly is last time up
- 19:59Speaker 2: for the Guardians' first run today. They're now up 3-0
- 20:03Speaker 2: here in the fifth. Athletic injuries happen. Screens, dislocations, and more.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Self-scheduled an appointment with a sports medicine specialist at clevelandclinic.org.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Slash athlete care. Manzardo, first pitch swinging, fouls one off
- 20:18Speaker 2: at home plate. And it's 0-1 on Kyle Manzardo.
- 20:24Speaker 3: J.B.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Erie is one of the great coordinators and rovers in
- 20:29Speaker 2: the minor league system who focuses on defense. And he
- 20:32Speaker 2: was saying, he's in town this week, he was saying
- 20:35Speaker 2: Kyle Manzardo, late January... Got out to Goodyear to really
- 20:40Speaker 2: work on his defense at first base. And it's paying
- 20:45Speaker 2: off now.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Here's the 0-1.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Swung on. Foul back.
- 20:48Speaker 5: 0-2.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Sometimes that hard work, it can be a delayed result.
- 20:53Speaker 2: And there were some struggles early this season for Manzardo. But, man,
- 20:58Speaker 2: he's looked good at first base defensively for the last
- 21:01Speaker 2: week to ten days at least. 0-2 the count on Manzardo.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Here's the pitch, and it's outside and low.
- 21:15Speaker 3: One and two.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Boy, it is getting more and more foggy as we go.
- 21:20Speaker 2: That progressive field.
- 21:23Speaker 5: Hey, game's official. Call it.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Call it on account of can't see. Here's the one-two.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Swung on line, first base side foul. The umpire at first,
- 21:36Speaker 2: Manny Gonzalez. He had to kind of do the limbo
- 21:41Speaker 2: to get out of the way of that one. It
- 21:42Speaker 2: was screaming down the line, and he just got out
- 21:45Speaker 2: of the way. Another one-two pitch coming to Manzardo. Here
- 21:53Speaker 2: it is. Swing and a miss. Strike three. Chase the
- 21:57Speaker 2: high fastball. Back-to-back strikeouts. Two down in the inning. De
- 22:02Speaker 2: Lauder still at first for Daniel Schneeman. Schneemans one for
- 22:08Speaker 2: two with a single back in the second.
- 22:11Speaker 3: He has also struck out.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Three runs on five hits for the Guardians.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Here's the pitch.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Swung on. Popped him up.
- 22:23Speaker 12: Foul.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Third base side near the dugout. Caminero over there but
- 22:27Speaker 2: runs out of room. It drops just beyond his reach.
- 22:34Speaker 2: So 0-1 the count on Schneemans. A four-game losing skid
- 22:42Speaker 2: the Guardians are in right now. They'd love to get
- 22:44Speaker 2: out of here before heading out on the road with
- 22:47Speaker 2: a win against a red-hot Tampa Bay team.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Here's the 0-1.
- 22:54Speaker 5: In tight.
- 22:56Speaker 19: 1-1.
- 22:57Speaker 2: And Tampa Bay, again, the team in the AL East
- 23:04Speaker 2: that no one really talks about in the wintertime when
- 23:07Speaker 2: everyone else is making big moves. But here they are.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Contender again. The 1-1. In there for a strike.
- 23:17Speaker 3: 1-2. Nobody talks about Kevin Cash and how he's become
- 23:24Speaker 3: one of the great managers in this game. These two organizations,
- 23:29Speaker 3: pretty darn similar, Rosie. Here's the 1-2. Down low, 2-2.
- 23:36Speaker 3: The way they do it, the way they have to
- 23:39Speaker 3: fight the odds against teams with much greater payrolls. A
- 23:43Speaker 3: lot of ways you look at Tampa, Cleveland, Milwaukee, they
- 23:47Speaker 3: look like triplets, don't they? They sure do. There goes
- 23:51Speaker 3: the runner.
- 23:51Speaker 2: The 2-2 is fouled off at home plate. And we'll
- 23:54Speaker 2: do it again on 2-2.
- 23:56Speaker 3: And what three organizations get rated more for front office
- 24:02Speaker 3: executives and other baseball people, coaches and whatnot, than Cleveland, Milwaukee,
- 24:08Speaker 3: and Tampa?
- 24:11Speaker 2: Here's the 2-2 to Daniel Schneeman. De Lauder stays at
- 24:15Speaker 2: first this time, and it's another pop-up to the third
- 24:17Speaker 2: base side. Foul ground. Cabanero near the side wall and
- 24:21Speaker 2: runs out of room again.
- 24:24Speaker 4: He's had a tough two days.
- 24:26Speaker 2: That was nasty last night.
- 24:28Speaker 3: First inning.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Foul ball off a home plate and bonked him in
- 24:32Speaker 2: the chin, and that was it for him. But he
- 24:36Speaker 2: posts today in the final day of the series. Here
- 24:43Speaker 2: comes the 2-2 from Rasmussen. Schneeman battling. The pitch is
- 24:49Speaker 2: on its way, and it's swung on. Line, left side,
- 24:51Speaker 2: base hit on through. On his way to third is
- 24:54Speaker 2: De Lauder. The throw comes into second, and Schneeman keeps
- 24:58Speaker 2: the inning going with an opposite field single. Now it's
- 25:02Speaker 2: runners on the corners with two down. And Travis Bazzano,
- 25:07Speaker 2: excuse me, Angel Martinez heading to the plate. With Buzana
- 25:13Speaker 2: moving into the on-deck circle.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Rosie, this guy, Rasmussen, gives up an average of five
- 25:20Speaker 3: hits per nine innings. And Cleveland with six hits in
- 25:25Speaker 3: five innings. And how many other balls have they hit hard?
- 25:29Speaker 3: This is as encouraging an outing as we've seen from
- 25:33Speaker 3: this offense here in the last four or five days.
- 25:37Speaker 5: And you're doing it against a really good pitcher.
- 25:40Speaker 12: Love it.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Good plan, and it seems like they are sticking to
- 25:44Speaker 2: that today. And it has paid off as Kyle Snyder,
- 25:48Speaker 2: the pitching coach, heads back to the dugout after a
- 25:51Speaker 2: brief chat. Quick look at our injury report presented by
- 25:55Speaker 2: Elk & Elk. For a team of injury lawyers dedicated
- 25:57Speaker 2: to every client every day, call 1-800-ELK-OHIO. Gabriel Arias coming
- 26:02Speaker 2: back from a hamstring issue, still a ways away.
- 26:06Speaker 5: Sean Armstrong.
- 26:08Speaker 2: The groin injury hopes to be back in that bullpen
- 26:10Speaker 2: when his time on the injured list is up as
- 26:12Speaker 2: he's progressing nicely. Here's Martinez. Runners on the corners, two down.
- 26:19Speaker 2: There goes the runner Schneeman and the pitch is a
- 26:21Speaker 2: strike on the inside corner. No throw to second. Another
- 26:26Speaker 2: stolen base for the Guardians who have been aggressive today.
- 26:33Speaker 2: That's the second for Schneeman on the season. Second and
- 26:37Speaker 2: third now. The 0-1. Martinez takes it inside for a ball.
- 26:42Speaker 2: 1-1 the count. Angel Martinez with a good season going
- 26:48Speaker 2: a month in. 15 runs batted in for him. Two
- 26:56Speaker 2: more out there for him. The 1-1. Swung on. Fouled
- 26:59Speaker 2: off at home plate. Martinez one of several guardians off
- 27:05Speaker 2: to a really good start in terms of hitting with
- 27:07Speaker 2: men in scoring position. He was batting. 353 heading into
- 27:12Speaker 2: play today. Switch hitter left side. Here's the one-two. Outside
- 27:21Speaker 2: and low. Good stop on a pitch in the dirt
- 27:23Speaker 2: by Fiduccio to catch. Outfield playing it pretty much straight
- 27:34Speaker 2: away for Martinez. Infield slightly to pull, especially Walls, the shortstop.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Now the 2-2.
- 27:43Speaker 5: In tight.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Ball three. And pitch count really starting to climb on
- 27:50Speaker 2: Rasmussen after the good start in that department. His next
- 27:55Speaker 2: pitch will be number 90, so his time in this
- 27:57Speaker 2: game coming to an end quickly.
- 28:01Speaker 3: The 3-2.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Swung on.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Popped him up.
- 28:04Speaker 20: Foul.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Out of play. Third base side.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Casey Legomina, a right-hander, is warming up out in the
- 28:16Speaker 2: pen for Tampa Bay, and he's about ready if needed.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Payoff pitch coming to Martinez.
- 28:25Speaker 5: Here it is.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Swing and a miss.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Strike three.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Side retired.
- 28:31Speaker 3: But the Guardians score two and will head to the sixth.
- 28:34Speaker 5: 3-0 Cleveland.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Well, this game is official. It's a 3-0 ballgame. Cleveland
- 28:54Speaker 3: with the lead. And Gavin Williams out there, the number
- 28:57Speaker 3: nine hitter, Taylor Walls, takes outside. It's a mist that
- 29:01Speaker 3: is blowing about progressive field. Cleveland, three runs, six hits.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Tampa Bay, nothing on two hits. Now the 1-0, a
- 29:12Speaker 3: swing and a foul out of play.
- 29:14Speaker 21: 1-1.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Great to see Bill Cosgrove. His brother and another friend
- 29:22Speaker 3: coming in. It's been a fun reunion here with Tampa
- 29:28Speaker 3: and Cleveland. Taylor Walls batting left-handed, fouling it upstairs. Bill,
- 29:32Speaker 3: of course, one of our great partners with Union Home Mortgage.
- 29:37Speaker 3: And now, one of the owners. of the Tampa Bay Rays.
- 29:42Speaker 3: And Tampa Bay in great hands with Bill Cosgrove and
- 29:47Speaker 3: Ken Babby and the rest of that new ownership group.
- 29:50Speaker 5: Now the kick and the 1-2 pitch. Outside, 2-2.
- 29:58Speaker 3: And we'll be back Seeing these guys later this summer
- 30:02Speaker 3: as I don't think Tropicana Field will ever look better
- 30:06Speaker 3: than it's now looking. The pitch swung on, fouled at
- 30:10Speaker 3: the plate after a year of having to play at
- 30:13Speaker 3: the Yankee spring training site, Tampa, as Tropicana Field all
- 30:18Speaker 3: fixed up. Manager Kevin Cash was saying in his office
- 30:22Speaker 3: this morning it's much brighter than it was and Cleveland
- 30:27Speaker 3: will be down in St. Pete to take on the
- 30:30Speaker 3: Tampa Bay Rays. That'll be coming up near the end
- 30:34Speaker 3: of July. And, of course, the Rays trying to get
- 30:40Speaker 3: a new ballpark built. And they deserve one. They shouldn't
- 30:48Speaker 3: have to keep playing at Tropicana Field. It's fine for
- 30:51Speaker 3: the time being, but they deserve a new building. Here's
- 30:57Speaker 3: the windup. Here's the 2-2.
- 30:59Speaker 5: Swing and a miss.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Wall strikes out. That's four for Gavin Williams. Tom Hamilton
- 31:05Speaker 3: back with you.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Check that.
- 31:08Speaker 3: That is five strikeouts now for Gavin. Tom Hamilton, Jim Rosenhaus,
- 31:14Speaker 3: and Brian Motze with you on a rainy day. An
- 31:17Speaker 3: hour and 21-minute rain delay at the outset. But we're
- 31:22Speaker 3: playing with a miss now. Top of the order in
- 31:25Speaker 3: Chandler Simpson. 3-0 Cleveland. Simpson ground ball to second. Bassano
- 31:31Speaker 3: looks it into the glove.
- 31:32Speaker 5: Throws over. Two down.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Gavin Williams has been brilliant again. A shutout. Two hits allowed.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Five strikeouts. He's hit a batter. Two down, here's Junior Caminero,
- 31:51Speaker 3: ground out, strikeout. 3-0 Cleveland. The windup and the pitch.
- 32:02Speaker 3: And it's low a ball. And hopefully by the time
- 32:06Speaker 3: we see these Rays later this summer, there will be
- 32:10Speaker 3: something finalized for a new ballpark for the Rays. Caminero's
- 32:18Speaker 3: grounded out, struck out. Here's the kick and the 1-0
- 32:21Speaker 3: pitch inside. Tropicana Field has served its purpose. It got
- 32:26Speaker 3: all these other ballparks built because there was always the
- 32:31Speaker 3: threat of teams moving to St. Pete unless their community
- 32:36Speaker 3: came up with a new park. That pitch in there.
- 32:40Speaker 3: White Sox got a new ballpark because of it. San
- 32:43Speaker 3: Francisco did. Cleveland did. If Jacobs Field hadn't been built.
- 32:50Speaker 3: The Indians would have been in St.
- 32:51Speaker 12: Pete.
- 32:53Speaker 5: The 2-1.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Bullseye 2-2. So now it's time for the Tampa Bay
- 32:57Speaker 3: Rays to get the kind of.
- 32:58Speaker 5: Ballpark they deserve. It'll happen, but as we know, it's
- 33:05Speaker 5: always an arduous process.
- 33:07Speaker 3: 3-0 Cleveland. Two down. Sixth inning. The kick and the pitch.
- 33:14Speaker 3: And strike! Three called. Not sure what he was guessing,
- 33:19Speaker 3: but Junior Caminero evidently wasn't thinking. Fastball. 3-0 Cleveland.
- 33:26Speaker 5: We go to the bottom of the sixth.

- 35:26Speaker 3: Time to pause for station ID on the Cleveland Clinic
- 35:29Speaker 3: Radio Network.
- 35:31Speaker 4: From the J.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Arnold Welch Management Studio, a client-first investment advisory firm, this
- 35:37Speaker 1: is News Radio 570 WKBN, Youngstown.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Tom Hamilton, Jim Rosenhouse, Brian Motze with you. The day
- 35:47Speaker 3: is over for Drew Rasmussen, who came in unbeaten with a.
- 35:55Speaker 3: 245 ERA, batting average against of.
- 35:58Speaker 20: 160.
- 35:58Speaker 3: And Cleveland touched him up in five innings for three runs,
- 36:04Speaker 3: two earned on six hits, struck out six, walked a batter.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Right-hander Casey Legamina. The wind and pitch. Pisano drives one
- 36:13Speaker 3: to deep center. Back is Mullins.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Track.
- 36:16Speaker 21: Wall.
- 36:17Speaker 5: Caught near the wall by Mullins.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Well, if the wind isn't blowing out, as Lee Smith
- 36:25Speaker 3: once said, that would have been in the pork and beans.
- 36:29Speaker 3: But Pisano with a drive to deep center looking for
- 36:33Speaker 3: that first major league hit. But he put a nice
- 36:36Speaker 3: swing on that. And you see the power right there.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Wind blowing in. A miserable rainy day in Cleveland. First
- 36:46Speaker 3: ball swinging. Bo Naylor sends one down the left side.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Foul into the seat. Strike one. Naylor's got it out. Strikeout.
- 37:01Speaker 5: Casey Legamina. We saw him earlier this year with Seattle.
- 37:05Speaker 4: The 0-1.
- 37:07Speaker 5: And it's in there. Strike.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Legamina.
- 37:12Speaker 5: Now pitching with a raise. Nothing into the count. He delivers.
- 37:20Speaker 5: And the pitch down and in. One ball, two strikes. Legamina.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Fastball sinker. Changeup and that slurve of a breaking ball.
- 37:32Speaker 3: The right-hander kicks, fires. And the pitch down low, two
- 37:35Speaker 3: and two. Legamina. Faced Cleveland twice when we were in
- 37:41Speaker 3: Seattle to open up the campaign. Then was acquired last Friday.
- 37:49Speaker 5: The pitch. Swung on.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Golfed high in the air. Fairly deep left center. Camped
- 37:55Speaker 3: under it. The left fielder Simpson. Nailer out number two.
- 37:59Speaker 3: This is not a day to hit the ball in
- 38:01Speaker 3: the air. You're not going to get rewarded.
- 38:04Speaker 5: Two down. Nobody on.
- 38:06Speaker 3: 3-0 Cleveland, they have scored on Kyle Manzardo's sack fly
- 38:12Speaker 3: and Chase DeLotter's two-run single. Here's Brian Rocchio, switch hitter
- 38:18Speaker 3: batting left-handed. Rocchio, one for two, a single. Cuts and misses,
- 38:23Speaker 3: strike one. Rocchio says, ooh, that bat is slipping in
- 38:33Speaker 3: my hands, so he gets... Some more of the stick-em
- 38:36Speaker 3: to put on. I think we're going to just play
- 38:40Speaker 3: in this swirling mist the rest of the day. The
- 38:44Speaker 3: temperature right now, 49 degrees, but it doesn't feel that warm.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Here's the wind and the pitch. Outside a ball, one
- 38:53Speaker 3: and one to count. The kick and delivery. Swung on
- 39:07Speaker 3: line to left. That's a base hit the other way
- 39:09Speaker 3: for Brian Rocchio. The number nine hitter's been on base
- 39:12Speaker 3: all three times today. Boy is he off to a
- 39:17Speaker 3: tremendous start. Now that'll bring up the top of the order.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Stephen Kwan. He may have swung the bat as well
- 39:30Speaker 3: today as he has all season. He's lined out, grounded out, doubled,
- 39:36Speaker 3: and scored last inning. Runner on, two down, 3-0 Cleveland.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Legaminas pitch down low, ball one. When you've got rust
- 39:49Speaker 3: to bust, use PV Blaster. It's a Cleveland original since 1957.
- 39:53Speaker 3: PV Blaster, always working like a pro. Pitch misses outside
- 39:59Speaker 3: a ball.
- 39:59Speaker 19: 2-0.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Off day tomorrow, Cleveland flies to Sacramento tonight. Now the
- 40:10Speaker 3: 2-0 pitch. Inside 3-0. Meanwhile, Gavin Williams, a two-hit shutout
- 40:24Speaker 3: through six innings, 66 pitches is all he's made.
- 40:30Speaker 5: Kwon takes high. He's on base again.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Boy, if Stephen Kwon gets it going, then this offense
- 40:37Speaker 3: goes to a different level.
- 40:40Speaker 5: He heads to first on the two-out walk.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Brian Rocchio to second, and Chase DeLauder, two for two,
- 40:49Speaker 3: two singles, two RBIs, and a walk.
- 40:57Speaker 5: Right-handers ready.
- 41:00Speaker 3: The pitch swung and hammered foul deep down the right
- 41:03Speaker 3: side into the club seats. Three runs, seven hits. Cleveland,
- 41:15Speaker 3: Tampa blanked on two hits. The next offering, high and wide,
- 41:20Speaker 3: missed with a breaking ball, one and one. Chase De Lauder,
- 41:28Speaker 3: 5-4-10 against this really good Tampa pitching staff.
- 41:34Speaker 4: The 1-1.
- 41:35Speaker 5: Way high and outside ball, 2-2-1.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Legumina. He fires, and it's in there. Two balls, two strikes.
- 42:10Speaker 3: The next delivery, a swing by De Lauder and a
- 42:14Speaker 3: high pop. Third baseman into foul ground, making the running catch.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Coming towards the plate is third baseman, Junior Caminero.
- 42:24Speaker 13: So..
- 42:25Speaker 2: Cleveland and Tampa, six in the books, 3-0 Guardians on
- 42:30Speaker 2: the Cleveland Clinic Radio Network.
- 42:34Speaker 1: News Radio 570, WKBN, Youngstown.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Jonathan Aranda, the number three hitter, leads off to Tampa's seventh.
- 42:52Speaker 3: 3-0 Cleveland over Tampa. The wind-in pitch to Waranda, 0
- 42:57Speaker 3: for 2, and he waves at it. Gavin Williams, six strikeouts,
- 43:01Speaker 3: he's hit a batter. He's given up two base hits. Again,
- 43:06Speaker 3: today he's had no hit stuff. We say that every
- 43:10Speaker 3: five days. The pitch, waved at, 95 miles an hour,
- 43:14Speaker 3: 0 and 2 the count. Gavin Williams now has a
- 43:19Speaker 3: batting average against him of 163. He's got an earned
- 43:26Speaker 3: run average now as he winds it up and fires
- 43:33Speaker 3: the 0-2 pitch. Oh, maybe high, 1-2. His earned run
- 43:40Speaker 3: average is now 2-81. And you're shocked when anybody gets
- 43:46Speaker 3: a hit off him. Williams, the wind and the 1-2.
- 43:49Speaker 12: High, 2-2.
- 43:53Speaker 3: The great Tommy Bochenek, who does a great job on
- 43:56Speaker 3: stance for the TV folks. Gavin Williams today to show
- 44:03Speaker 3: you how dominant he is. As he rocks into his delivery,
- 44:09Speaker 3: the pitch.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Strike!
- 44:12Speaker 5: Three called on a backdoor slider. Seven strikeouts.
- 44:17Speaker 3: That was a long at-bat, believe it or not. A
- 44:22Speaker 3: five-pitch advance. Gavin Williams has had 11 outs today that
- 44:29Speaker 3: have been three pitches or less. Yandy Diaz, the D-H-O
- 44:35Speaker 3: for two. Lines one back up the middle into center.
- 44:38Speaker 3: That's a base hit. Williams had to duck under that.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Third Tampa hit. They've got a runner on with one down.
- 44:49Speaker 3: Seventh inning. Cleveland on top, 3-0. Meanwhile, Seattle and Minnesota
- 44:55Speaker 3: 2-2 in the eighth. Toronto leads Boston 3-1 in the fourth.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Here's Jake Fraley taking a look at a curveball strike.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Texas a 2-0 lead over the Yankees. They're in the
- 45:18Speaker 3: fifth inning. A lot of day games. Miami and the
- 45:22Speaker 3: Dodgers 1-1 in the fourth. Baltimore and Houston already rained out.
- 45:30Speaker 3: The pitch swung on. Topped foul.
- 45:32Speaker 5: Right side 0-2. And the White Sox beat.
- 45:35Speaker 3: The Angels 3-2 in 10 innings. Nothing new for the Angels.
- 45:40Speaker 3: They've lost six in a row. They have a record
- 45:43Speaker 3: of 12-20. They're one of the worst teams in baseball.
- 45:48Speaker 3: And it just seems like, Rosie, it's Deja Vu in Anaheim.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Now the 0-2 pitch. Inside, not by much, and they
- 45:58Speaker 3: have a healthy Mike Trout. Yeah, he's back, but no time.
- 46:04Speaker 2: And maybe they do have some prospects that are close,
- 46:07Speaker 2: but you don't hear about their farm system when they
- 46:09Speaker 2: talk about the farm systems that are really productive.
- 46:14Speaker 5: Now the set and the 1-2 pitch. Down and in, 2-2.
- 46:19Speaker 3: That scoreboard update presented to you by your Northeast Ohio
- 46:23Speaker 3: Ford dealers. Well, one thing about the Angels, they get
- 46:27Speaker 3: to draft in the top ten every year. 3-0 Cleveland,
- 46:35Speaker 3: one out, one on, seventh inning.
- 46:37Speaker 5: Gavin Williams, the pitch to Fraley.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Swung on, double play ball to second. Bazana to second.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Threw it wide into left field. Down into the left
- 46:49Speaker 3: field tarp area. All the way to score from first
- 46:53Speaker 3: is Diaz and into second is Fraley. A double play
- 46:58Speaker 3: ball and Bazana threw it wide of second down the
- 47:03Speaker 3: left field line into foul ground near where the tarp is.
- 47:08Speaker 3: And instead of the inning being over, it's a 3-1
- 47:12Speaker 3: ball game. And a runner at second and one down.
- 47:16Speaker 3: And that's the first mistake Bazana has made in his
- 47:20Speaker 3: young Major League career. Now the batter, Cedric Mullins, 0-2.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Cuts and misses, strike one. Didn't look like Travis Pazana
- 47:41Speaker 3: rushed or anything. He just made a wide throw. Runner
- 47:46Speaker 3: at second.
- 47:48Speaker 5: One down.
- 47:48Speaker 3: Seventh inning. 3-1 Cleveland. Williams two looks to second.
- 47:54Speaker 4: A third look.
- 47:55Speaker 3: Now the pitch. And a tapper headed to third foul.
- 47:59Speaker 3: And the count 0-2. Double barrel activity in the Tampa pen.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Cleveland's pen is quiet. Gavin Williams should have been out
- 48:11Speaker 3: of the inning with that ground ball. So now Gavin
- 48:19Speaker 3: Williams trying to work out of it. Keep it a
- 48:23Speaker 3: 3-1 Cleveland lead. He looks back, comes to the plate,
- 48:31Speaker 3: and a drive set. High in the air to shallow right.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Bozzana out, DeLauder in. The right fielder calls off his
- 48:38Speaker 3: second baseman. And in shallow right, DeLauder makes the catch.
- 48:42Speaker 5: Two down.
- 48:44Speaker 3: On a day like today, those plays are more difficult
- 48:48Speaker 3: than you might think because the fielder is looking straight
- 48:52Speaker 3: up into a mist blowing into his eyes. And once again,
- 48:57Speaker 3: a low ceiling here in downtown Cleveland as fog is
- 49:03Speaker 3: covering much of the downtown skyline. Two down, runner at second,
- 49:08Speaker 3: 3-1 Cleveland. Richie Palacios, 0-2 to the plate. Williams fires,
- 49:15Speaker 3: Palacios takes, called strike, painted the outside corner. Outfield straight
- 49:32Speaker 3: up medium deep.
- 49:35Speaker 5: Now the 0-1.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Swing and a miss through it by him.
- 49:40Speaker 6: 0-2.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Palacio steps out. Gavin Williams now at 82 pitches. He
- 50:05Speaker 3: checks the runner. He comes to the plate. And Palacios
- 50:13Speaker 3: swings and fouls it back. Will do it again at 0-2.
- 50:21Speaker 3: The double play that wasn't turned is going to cost
- 50:24Speaker 3: Gavin Williams. Probably, well, right now, another good eight pitches.
- 50:36Speaker 5: Now the 0-2.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Got him swinging on the slow curve in the dirt.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Naylor digs it out, throws to first. Eight strikeouts for Williams.
- 50:47Speaker 3: It's an unearned runoff, Gavin Williams, who picks up his teammate,
- 50:52Speaker 3: Travis Bazzana, and doesn't let things get out of hand.
- 50:56Speaker 3: Stretch time at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario, and
- 51:00Speaker 3: Cleveland is on top, 3-1.
- 51:03Speaker 11: This is the call of the Australian rubber bird.
- 51:06Speaker 24: Snap!
- 51:09Speaker 11: This is the call of the Alaskan chili bird.
- 51:14Speaker 4: And this is.
- 51:16Speaker 11: The call of the marathon mascot bald eagle, Max.
- 51:20Speaker 18: Hi, it's Max.
- 51:21Speaker 4: Hello.

- 52:49Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN, Youngstown.
- 52:58Speaker 3: Right-hander, Yohandris Gomez on the pitch. Doesn't throw hard. Low 90s. Fastball, sinker, cutter, curve, slider, change.
- 53:10Speaker 3: 3-1 Cleveland. Gomez makes his ninth appearance. He does have
- 53:16Speaker 3: a save. He also has an ERA of 7.04. This
- 53:20Speaker 3: guy doesn't throw many strikes. 10 walks and 15 innings.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Jose Ramirez batting left-handed.
- 53:27Speaker 5: The pitch. The DH takes the strike. Casey Johnson.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Legamino went a scoreless inning. Drew Rasmussen gave up three
- 53:37Speaker 3: runs to earn today in the five innings he worked.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Now the 0-1 pitch. Way inside all the way to
- 53:45Speaker 3: the backstop. One of the first things Gavin Williams did
- 53:50Speaker 3: when the ball club got to the dugout, went up
- 53:52Speaker 3: to Travis Pisano and banged him in the chest saying,
- 53:58Speaker 3: you're fine, don't worry about it. Here's the 1-1 pitch.
- 54:03Speaker 3: Swing and a foul off to the right. One ball,
- 54:06Speaker 3: two strikes. The one thing this club, year in and
- 54:10Speaker 3: year out, has is chemistry. And a lot of it
- 54:14Speaker 3: is because a lot of these guys play together in
- 54:16Speaker 3: the minor leagues. And I know it sounds like a
- 54:21Speaker 3: simple thing. Here's the 1-2 pitch. Down low, time is
- 54:27Speaker 3: called pitch clock violation. But we know of Hall of
- 54:31Speaker 3: Fame pitchers who would have had a different reaction in
- 54:34Speaker 3: that dugout when the double play wasn't turned. And all
- 54:38Speaker 3: that does is kill the confidence of a young kid.
- 54:43Speaker 3: Gomez is ready. Now the 2-2 to Jose Ramirez. Swung
- 54:49Speaker 3: and ripped to right. Base hit.
- 54:50Speaker 12: Down the line.
- 54:51Speaker 3: This ball is going to get all the way to
- 54:53Speaker 3: the warning track. Jose Ramirez in standing with a double.
- 54:58Speaker 3: That's number 7. And Cleveland up 3-1 as a leadoff
- 55:03Speaker 3: double here in the seventh inning with Kyle Manzardo coming
- 55:07Speaker 3: to the plate. That is the first time today we
- 55:15Speaker 3: saw Hosey stay back on an off-speed pitch and not
- 55:20Speaker 3: get out in front.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Look, we've seen it how many times over the years
- 55:25Speaker 2: with him. He'll get there to a good place again
- 55:28Speaker 2: and it'll be trouble for the opposition.
- 55:31Speaker 5: Here's Kyle Manzardo. Old for two. A sack fly. The pitch.
- 55:39Speaker 5: Foul back. Strike one.
- 55:40Speaker 3: On the pregame show today, Stephen Vogt talked about how
- 55:44Speaker 3: Cleveland second worst in the major leagues. Only Milwaukee's been
- 55:50Speaker 3: worse as far as hitting off speed.
- 55:53Speaker 13: 1-9-6.
- 55:57Speaker 5: Here's the set by Gomez. The look back. The 0-1.
- 56:02Speaker 5: Waved at 0-2.
- 56:05Speaker 3: And Voter talked about the fact, look, first off, you
- 56:08Speaker 3: have to be able to hit the fastball when you're
- 56:11Speaker 3: in the big leagues. If you don't hit the fastball,
- 56:14Speaker 3: you have no chance to survive on the big league level.
- 56:19Speaker 5: Now the set. Now the 0-2. Fouled back.
- 56:26Speaker 3: And then on the off speed, he said, we have
- 56:29Speaker 3: a lot of young hitters who are so geared up
- 56:32Speaker 3: to hit the fastball that they're committing before they really
- 56:36Speaker 3: recognize if it's a fastball or if it's a slow
- 56:40Speaker 3: breaking ball or.
- 56:41Speaker 5: If it's a changeup.
- 56:44Speaker 3: And he said, the next step in that maturation process,
- 56:49Speaker 3: here's the set by Gomez and the 0-2 delivery to Manzardo.
- 56:59Speaker 3: Got him swinging. So one down, big strikeout because it
- 57:03Speaker 3: keeps Ramirez at second.
- 57:05Speaker 5: Let's see if Hosey now tries to steal third.
- 57:10Speaker 3: But Stephen Vogt was saying, now with the young guys,
- 57:14Speaker 3: and he said they'll learn. It takes repetition. It takes
- 57:17Speaker 3: game experience. And he said it's the same way with
- 57:20Speaker 3: a veteran. You get into spots where you just can't
- 57:23Speaker 3: stay back. Here's Daniel Schneeman, two for three. The pitch,
- 57:30Speaker 3: runner goes, pitches outside, throw to third, high, head first slide,
- 57:36Speaker 3: and you knew it was coming. Jose Ramirez now 12
- 57:39Speaker 3: for 12 in steals. Because Kyle Manzardo struck out, Ramirez knew,
- 57:46Speaker 3: I've got to get to third with less than two out,
- 57:49Speaker 3: and he went on the first pitch and made it easily.
- 57:53Speaker 3: Now Tampa brings the infield in. Runner at third, one out,
- 57:57Speaker 3: seventh inning, 3-1 Cleveland. Gomez ready. Here's the pitch. Down low.
- 58:06Speaker 3: But voters said you'll learn as a hitter to create
- 58:10Speaker 3: tension on your backside. Once your backside goes, you're done.
- 58:15Speaker 3: You've committed to hit or swing. And he said it
- 58:18Speaker 3: takes time and it takes repetition. Now the 2-0 pitch
- 58:23Speaker 3: to Schneeman. Fouled at the plate, 2-1-1. If it was easy,
- 58:31Speaker 3: everybody could play up here.
- 58:33Speaker 2: Tom, I feel like baseball is the one sport hitting
- 58:36Speaker 2: in particular where you need the at-bats, the amount of
- 58:41Speaker 2: at-bats that it takes to recognize that and develop trial
- 58:45Speaker 2: and error, a lot of failure along the way.
- 58:48Speaker 3: Well, Voter said one of the reasons now the change-up
- 58:51Speaker 3: is so much back in vogue is because even though
- 58:57Speaker 3: these guys throw 100 miles an hour, hitters now are
- 59:01Speaker 3: trained to hit 100 miles an hour. You've got to
- 59:04Speaker 3: take them off the fastball. Now the 2-1 with the
- 59:07Speaker 3: infield in. Down and in, 3-1. Chase DeLauder was talking
- 59:15Speaker 3: about Brian Baker the other night. He said, he's throwing 98.
- 59:18Speaker 3: Now he's throwing an 82-mile-an-hour changeup. He said, that's almost
- 59:23Speaker 3: impossible to stay back on. But DeLauder did and doubled.
- 59:28Speaker 5: The pitch..
- 59:29Speaker 2: And Schneeman skies one on the infield. Third baseman, Junior Caminero,
- 59:35Speaker 2: almost even with the bag, makes the catch, and Ramirez
- 59:38Speaker 2: stays put at third on the pop-up. That ball was
- 59:42Speaker 2: hit so high it went into the fog and then
- 59:45Speaker 2: came back out.
- 59:47Speaker 5: Two down.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Runner still at third, still 3-1 Cleveland in the seventh.
- 59:53Speaker 5: Angel Martinez, the batter, 0-3.
- 59:55Speaker 3: He'll swing it left-handed. Nobody has more electrified hybrid choices
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: than Toyota, including the all-new all-hybrid RAV4. For all Toyota offers,
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: go to toyota.com. Gomez firing. Inside, he moved the feet
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: of Angel Martinez, and he almost got him in the
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: back foot. Tickets sold, 14,196. On a dreary day in
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: Northeast Ohio. Hour 21 minutes late in getting started. Swirling mist,
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: cold temps throughout the game. The pitch, and it just
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: missed outside. Tampa will challenge the call. Well, at least
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: the catcher signaled, I want a challenge. And nothing happened. Tom,
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: I think the ABS might be out. Oh, that's right.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: Bart sent us that text. Here's the 2-0 pitch. Swing
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: and a miss. Bart sent a text saying the ABS
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: is going in and out. So that is why Tampa
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: Bay couldn't challenge. Thank you, Bartley. It's the first time
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: we've seen that happen. We're going old school.
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: Now the 2-1 delivery. Swing and a foul back, 2-2.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: It's interesting because it could impact the remainder of the
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: game now.
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: How will we ever make it through? 3-1 Cleveland, seventh inning,
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: runner at third, two down. Gomez is ready. Here's the 2-2.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: Swung on, fouled off, right side. Martinez stays alive. Can
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: you imagine the ABS goes out bottom of the ninth
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: inning of game seven of the World Series? There'd be
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: conspiracy theories all over the place.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: Oh, you think?
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: Especially if Houston was playing. Here's the 2-2. Swung on,
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: banged up the middle. Two is right back and a
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: pick by Palacios. Throws to first and makes the play
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: as his feet started to go out from under him
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: at second base. Good play by Palacios. This playing surface
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: is getting slick. Eighth is next, 3-1 Cleveland.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: News Radio 570, WKBN, Youngstown.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Gavin Williams, 84 pitches as we start the eighth, 3-1 Cleveland.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Hunter Fiducia, the catcher, takes a strike. Lefty Eric Zebrowski,
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: right hander, Hunter Gaddis up in the Cleveland pen. Fiducia
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: hit by a pitch and struck out. The pitch swung on,
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: fouled back.
- 1:03:11Speaker 14: 0-2.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Gavin Williams, eight strikeouts. He's hit a batter. He's given
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: up an unearned run on three hits. He has been
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: masterful again today. And no walks.
- 1:03:26Speaker 12: The 0-2.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Swung on a bouncing ball, headed to the second baseman.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Bazana fires it over for the out. That'll bring up
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Taylor Walls. He has struck out twice, switch hitting shortstop,
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: batting left-handed.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: Taylor Walls.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: Gavin Williams was averaging five walks per nine innings this year,
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: but none today. Gavin Williams has walked a batter. In
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: 45 consecutive starts. The pitch tapped foul at the plate.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: But again none today.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: Garrett. Let's see.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: Jarrett Wright. Here's the wind. And the 0-1. Swing and
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: a miss. Chase the curve in the dirt. Jarrett Wright.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Had a streak in which he walked a batter. in
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: 80 consecutive starts. Of course, Jarrett, nearly the Game 7
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: hero in 1997. The 0-2. Curve ball, strike three, called.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: No challenge available.
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: ABS is out.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Nine strikeouts for Williams. Walls has been a victim three times.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: Two down. That game that Jarrett Wright pitched his rookie
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: year against Miami... Game 7 of the World Series, a
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: changeup that Bobby Bonilla hit out. The only run off
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: Jared Wright. He was magnificent. And a rookie pitching game 7.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: And if he had any nerves going into that game,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: he did an incredible job of hiding it. Top of
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: the order, here's Chandler Simpson. Two down, Cleveland up 3-1,
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: first pitch strike. Simpson one for three a single. Three
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: to one Cleveland in the eighth. The next delivery. And
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: a curve ball and a knee buckler for strength two.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: Boy his curve has been so good. Chandler Simpson steps
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: back in. Only three hits today for the Rays.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: The pitch.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: High, a ball. You look at this series. Cleveland has
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: scored a grand total of five runs in the series.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Tampa Bay has scored five runs. No, one-two pitch. Swung
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: and drilled to left. That's a base hit. Chandler Simpson
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: with a two-out single. Here's Junior Caminero. Caminero 0 for 3.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: Has struck out looking the last two times up.
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: Two down.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: Runner at first. Cleveland with a 3-1 lead. And the
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: most dangerous Tampa hitter. Caminero with a team high eight
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: home runs. Right hander against right hander. The set and delivery.
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: Swung on.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: Line to left. That's a base hit. Stopping at second
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: base is Simpson. And with Jonathan Aranda up, we may
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: see Eric Cebrowski right here. Two outs, two on, 3-1 Cleveland.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Here comes voter Eric Cebrowski will make an appearance here
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: in the eighth with two outs and two on. Cleveland
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: on top, 3-1 Cleveland. This call to the bullpen presented

- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Williamson to run it first for Junior Caminero. Cleveland three,
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Tampa Bay one. Tampa Bay in the eighth inning, two outs.
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: Runners first and second. Left on left is Jonathan Aranda
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: to the plate. Second in the American League with 25 RBIs.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Cebrowski fastball, curveball, slider. The Edmonton Natives pitch fouled back
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: and out of play. Strike one. Cebrowski, 11 holds this year.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: In 15 appearances, ERA 270. 21 strikeouts in 13 innings.
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: The set. The pitch. In tight.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: And the count, one ball, one strike. All of this
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: with two outs. Simpson and Caminero with singles. Down to 1-1.
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: Runners go. Pitch is high. Throw to second. And it's
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: off the glove of Rocchio. He recovers behind the bag
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: at second. And a double steal. How about that? Simpson
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: gets his 11th. And Ben Williamson gets his 3rd. Bo
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: Naylor went for the trail runner, but he bounced the
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: throw into second, and Rocchio couldn't dig it out. Boy,
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: that's Tampa Bay baseball there. Down two, and they pull
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: off a two-out double steal. The pitch. In there, a
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: called strike, two and two. It's risky, but it's worked
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: for Tampa Bay this year. They are the absolute best
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: in winning these white-knuckle games. Simpson at third, Williamson at second,
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: two down in the eighth, 3-1 Cleveland. Tampa Bay is
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: 10-2 in games decided by two runs or fewer. Cleveland, 8-10.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: Tampa's won two of those type of games in this series.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Now the 2-2. Got him swinging! Good slider by Cebrowski
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: gets Aranda, and Cleveland stays on top, 3-1 in the

- 1:13:22Speaker 5: The pitch.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: Swung and a rocket.
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: Deep right center. It's got a chance.
- 1:13:28Speaker 25: Gone. Bo Naylor.
- 1:13:31Speaker 24: This is Bo Naylor.
- 1:13:32Speaker 17: You're listening to the Cleveland Clinic Guardians Radio Network.
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: News Radio 570 WKBN Youngstown.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: Travis Bozzano looking for that first major league hit. Will
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: lead off the bottom of the eighth against Yohendrez Gomez.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: Second inning of work. 3-1 Cleveland. The right hander's pitch
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: is high. Ball one. Travis almost hit one out of here.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Nearly to the wall and dead center in the sixth.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: 0-5 in his young career. The right hander delivers. And
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Bozzana hits one sky high on the infield. Behind the mound,
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: the shortstop Walls makes the one-handed catch. One down here
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: in the eighth. It'll bring up Bo Naylor. He's 0-3.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: What an outing by Gavin Williams. 95 pitches today. Went
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: seven and two-thirds innings. Gave up a run unearned. Allowed
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: a measly five hits. Struck out nine. Hit a batter.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: And did not walk a batter. Naylor pops one up.
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: Almost the same spot. The shortstop Walls stays on the dirt.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: Now on the front edge of the grass of the infield.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: Makes the catch on Naylor. Two down. So Gavin Williams
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: after 45 consecutive starts where he walked a batter.
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: That ends today. Boy he was dominant.
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: Two down.
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: We'll see Kate Smith in the ninth. He'll be facing
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: the middle of the order, Diaz, Fraley, and Mullins.
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: 3-1 Cleveland.
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: Here's Brian Rocchio, two for three. He's scored a pair
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: of runs. The pitch inside a ball. He's singled and
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: eventually scored on Kyle Manzardo's sack fly in the third.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: Chase DeLauder, a two-run single in the fifth. 3-1 Cleveland.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: Tampa's run unearned. The pitch, tapped foul on back of
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: the plate. One ball, one strike. Cleveland trying to find
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: a way to win one of these close ones against Tampa.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: The set, the 1-1. Fouled it back, one ball, two strikes.
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: Gomez is ready. Here it comes.
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: Back, Dordaman just missed with a slider.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: Fiducia says, I want to challenge the call. Scott Berry
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: slaps him. Says, I told you once. Not telling you again.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: It's not working. Now the 2-2 pitch. Swing and a
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: little flare. That is going to get down in the
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: left center. Base hit. Three-hit game. For Brian Rocchio. Top
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: of the order here, Stephen Kwan. One for three, a
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: double and a walk. But it didn't take long for
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: everybody to get used to the ABS challenge, did it?
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: Come on, where is it? He's got Barry now with
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: a toolkit in his back pocket. He dismantled it before
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: the game.
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: I saw a stamp, Rosie, that for the ABS challenges
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: this year. Here's the set of pitch to Stephen Kwan.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: And it's high ball one. Of all the calls made
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: by either the catcher, the hitter, or the pitcher, they're
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: the only people that can challenge. 53% of the challenges
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: have been overturned. In other words, the ump was wrong 53%
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: of the time. Snap throw to first, back with a dive.
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: Here's Rocchio.
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: Does Tampa challenge that call?
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:17:47Speaker 25: Yep.
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: Now, 53% of the challenges have been.
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: Overturned.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: If you want to say the call was not the
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: challenge was overturned, but the call was overturned. And so
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: the challenger was correct 53% of the time. The ump
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: was wrong. Cleveland has the second worst percentage. They've only
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: been right 43% of the time. And I don't think
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: this would be a surprise, Rosie, but catchers have been
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: much better at challenging than hitters or pitchers. The catchers
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: have been right 60% of the time. The hitters and
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: the pitchers have been right about 43% of the time.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: Well, when you think about it, the catchers, he's lined up.
- 1:18:44Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: To get a better view of it. The hitter's moving,
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: the pitcher's moving, so it's harder for them to judge, certainly.
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: This call might get reversed. Rocio may have been out.
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: Really good move by Gomez. Cleveland up 3-1. Eighth inning,
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: two down, runner at first. But it's interesting. I think, too,
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: part of Cleveland's problem is why they've been incorrect so much.
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: A lot of the challenges have been done by really
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: young players who seem like maybe they get caught.
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: Up in the emotion.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's almost instantaneous. The minute the call goes
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: the other way, they want it reversed. Anyway, we're one
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: month in. It'll be fun to keep tabs on it.
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: Right now, New York is making this call on whether
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: or not Rocchio was picked off at first. Cleveland with
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: a 3-1 lead.
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: Eighth inning. Two down at the moment. And here comes
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: the call from New York. After a view, the call
- 1:19:51Speaker 5: on the field stands.
- 1:19:52Speaker 12: The runner is safe.
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: There you go.
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: So Rokio who has the steal today. Cleveland with three
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: as a team. Let's see if he Takes an even
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: bigger lead. Stephen Kwan the batter, two down, Cleveland up
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: two in the eighth. Now the one-oh. Swung and banged
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: the first, nice backhanded pick by Aranda. Steps on the bag,
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: boy Stephen Kwan hit it hard again. We go to
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: the ninth. Cade Smith will try to protect a three
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: to one lead here on the Cleveland Clinic Radio Network.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN Youngstown.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: Well, Cade Smith coming on to work the ninth inning.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: As the Guardians have a 3-1 lead. Cade Smith, fastball, slider,
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: and split. Yandy Diaz, one for three, a single, scored
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: the only run unearned in the seventh.
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: Pitch to him.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: In there, a called strike. Gavin Williams, another brilliant start.
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: Seven and two-thirds. Struck out nine, did not walk a batter.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: Gave up an unearned run on five hits. The next pitch,
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: missing one and one. And the 12th hold for Eric Cebrowski.
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: Faced one batter, wiped him out with a strikeout. Now
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: the pitch, swung on, lined to left, and Cade Smith.
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: Gives up a base hit.
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: DeAndre Diaz, and now the tying run to the plate
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: in Jake Fraley. One for three with a single. And
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: these guys just don't go away. Fraley, a left-handed hitter
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: with power. The pitch, waved at. Boy, he threw that
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: by him. That breeze blowing in from right, if you're
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: hitting one out of here today, you better hit a
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: line drive. The 0-1, fouled it back, 0-2. Kate Smith
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: this year, six saves and eight opportunities, 13 appearances, two wins,
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: ERA 415. He's ready, hands chest high, lets it fly.
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: Pitch waved at, struck him out. Had that fastball up
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: around the letters. Fraley out number one. Here's Cedric Mullins.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Mullins 0 for 3. Left-handed hitting center fielder. Hitless in
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: his last 18 at-bats. He tried to hold up, chased one,
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: strike one. Schneeman in on the grass at third, the
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: outfield medium deep, straight up. Yandy Diaz, small lead at first,
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: one down, 3-1 Cleveland, ninth inning. Now the 0-1 pitch.
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: A little bit high, one ball, one strike. Cade Smith
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: out of the Vancouver area, lets it fly, and the
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: pitch swung up, popped foul near the Cleveland dugout. Schneeman
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: has a play. Third baseman made it just as he
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: was getting to the railing of that dugout on the
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: third base side. So the Guardians third baseman retires Mullins.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: Tampa down to its last out. It's Richie Palacios. Palacios
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: 0 for 3. Two down, runner at first. Cleveland three,
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: Tampa Bay one. Manzardo drops behind Diaz at first. The pitch,
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: a knee buckler. It's in there, a called strike. Diaz
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: can take off if he wants. That run doesn't mean anything.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: Now the 0-1. Waved at him, that had to be
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: a good split. Nothing into the count. Really had him
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: out front. Now Smith has a number of ways to
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: go after Richie Palacios. He can go back to the split.
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: He can get him to try to chase the high heater.
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: Let's see what Kate Smith elects to do. Here's the
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: set in the O2. Swing and a miss. Ball game.
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: And he went mano y mano with the fastball. Cade
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: Smith wipes out Tampa in the ninth. Cleveland with a
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: dominant pitching performance again today. Salvages the finale 3-1.

- 1:27:09Speaker 3: We're back here in downtown Cleveland where the Guardians got
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: brilliant pitching from Gavin Williams and then the bullpen of
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: Eric Sabrowski and Cade Smith. Big two-run single by Chase
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: DeLauder today. And boy, in a series that was just
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: dominated by pitching and just scratching out runs here and there,
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: cleveland able to salvage the finale pretty incredible when you
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: look at three games between these two teams and each
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: team scored a grand total of five runs tampa wins
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: the series but cleveland gets back to 500 with a
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: big win today final numbers when we come back.
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: Trademark office news radio 570 wkbn youngstown.
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: Back here in downtown Cleveland, the final numbers will read
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: like this. Cleveland, three runs on nine hits, one error,
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: ten left. Tampa Bay, one run, six hits, one error,
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: six men stranded. Gavin Williams, the win to go to
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: five and one. The save to Cade Smith, his seventh.
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: Drew Rasmussen, the tough luck loser, he is now two

- 1:30:57Speaker 3: Good afternoon once again, everyone.
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: Welcome back to Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland. It's Guardians wrap-up.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: following a 3-1 Cleveland victory over Tampa Bay on a
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: gloomy afternoon. But a lot of bright spots for the Guardians,
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: including Gavin Williams on the mound and some timely hitting
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: as well offensively. More on that in a moment with
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: our Honda Drive at Home game summary. But first, a
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: look at the out-of-town scores presented by your Northeast Ohio
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: Ford dealers. And a fair amount of day baseball today
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: on this Wednesday afternoon. Down in Arlington, Texas, the Rangers
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: are shutting out the Yankees 3-0 as that game heads
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: to the top half of the eighth inning.
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: Blue Jays lead the Red.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: Sox up at the Rogers Center 7-1 at the end
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: of six innings of play. Elsewhere, Dodgers and Marlins are
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: tied at two in the bottom half of the sixth
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: inning out in Dodger Stadium. Cubs lead the Padres 1-0
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: in San Diego top half of the fourth inning. And
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: the rest of the action is later on today. Actually,
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: one game gone final. White Sox and Angels in Chicago.
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: The White Sox a winner in 10 by a final
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: score of 3-2. Colson Montgomery with the walk-off single for
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: the White Sox. Also, Twins and Mariners complete in Minneapolis.
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: The Mariners 5-3 winners over the Twins. And the Orioles
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: and Astros were postponed due to foul weather in Baltimore.
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: Stay with us. The Guardian's a winner today. We'll have
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: the highlights and manager Steven Vogt after this. Welcome back
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: to Guardian's Wrap-Up from Progressive Field. The Guardian's a 3-1
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: winner today. Gavin Williams was terrific on the mound, and
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: he would get some run support in the third inning
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: on a sack fly from Kyle Manzardo, plating Brian Rocchio
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: with the game's first run. And then the Guardians would
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: open up a gap in the fifth inning with a
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: couple of men on base. Chase DeLauder stepped in. Rasmussen
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: sets at the belt. Here's his pitch. Swung on, ground
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: ball up the middle, base hit into center. Rocio scores
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: right behind him is Kwon. He scores. It's a two-run
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: single through the drawn-in infield for Chase DeLauder, and the
- 1:33:21Speaker 2: Guardians grab a 3-0 lead. Now, they have struggled in
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: this series to come up with the key hit. In fact,
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: 0 for 9 with men in scoring position, but DeLauder delivers,
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: and that's two on the board this inning. That was
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: part of a two-hit day for DeLauder, who now has
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: 18 runs batted in on the season. And that was
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: plenty for the Guardians, as Tampa Bay did score a
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: run in the seventh inning, thanks to a throwing error
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: by rookie second baseman Travis Bazzana on what looked to
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: be a double play ground ball, but it was not
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: to be. And Tampa Bay scored its run there, but
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: Williams worked out of it without further damage, and the
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: Guardians were on their way to the 3-1 win. Three runs,
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: nine hits, one error. And for Cleveland, 10 men left
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: on base. One run, six hits, one error. And the
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: Rays left six men stranded. Gavin Williams with the win,
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: now 5-1 with seven and two-thirds innings of one run,
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: unearned run. Five-hit baseball with nine strikeouts and no walks
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: for Williams as well. Eric Cebrowski with a hold. Kate
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: Smith with save number seven. Drew Rasmussen took the loss
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: today for Tampa Bay, falling to 2-1. Time of today's
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: game after a one hour and 21 minute rain delay,
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: two hours and 22 minutes it took to play it
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: with a paid crowd at Progressive Field of 14,196. Stay
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: with us. We'll hear from manager Steven Vogt after this.

- 1:36:55Speaker 2: downstairs and hear about it from manager Steven Vogt.
- 1:36:59Speaker 3: What impressed you most about Gavin's outing?
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: Oh, man, everything.
- 1:37:03Speaker 6: I mean, that was one of the better fastballs he's had,
- 1:37:05Speaker 6: but he was just ahead the whole day. It seemed
- 1:37:08Speaker 6: like every hitter, you know, get a one, got a
- 1:37:10Speaker 6: lot of second pitch outs, a lot of weak contact,
- 1:37:14Speaker 6: but that was pretty special. Just the low pitch count,
- 1:37:18Speaker 6: the attack in the zone. It's about as good as
- 1:37:20Speaker 6: we've ever seen Gavin.
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: It can look like for him when back in the
- 1:37:25Speaker 3: zone and limiting the walks the way you did.
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: We talk about it all the time. When Gavin throws strikes,
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: that's what you get.
- 1:37:32Speaker 6: He looked under control from the first inning. Even until
- 1:37:39Speaker 6: we took him out, he was under control, pounding the zone.
- 1:37:44Speaker 6: Not a whole lot of hard hit balls.
- 1:37:46Speaker 31: The two teams combined for five runs a piece in
- 1:37:50Speaker 31: a three game series just to be able to come
- 1:37:52Speaker 31: through and get the big hit and win a game here.
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it's huge.
- 1:37:57Speaker 6: I mean, uh, again, offense has been a little scarce
- 1:38:00Speaker 6: for the last week and, uh, just for us to
- 1:38:02Speaker 6: come through in those big moments, um, created bat by chase,
- 1:38:05Speaker 6: created bat by Manzo to get the runners in from third. And, uh,
- 1:38:09Speaker 6: you know, they're, they're a really good team over there.
- 1:38:11Speaker 6: They pitch well, they play good defense and we pitch well,
- 1:38:14Speaker 6: play good defense. So it's, uh, It's always a battle
- 1:38:16Speaker 6: whenever we play each other, and I'm not surprised that
- 1:38:18Speaker 6: no one scored a.
- 1:38:19Speaker 3: Lot of runs.
- 1:38:21Speaker 4: Kade finished the game strong. What did you see out
- 1:38:22Speaker 4: there from end of the night? Basketball was good. I
- 1:38:25Speaker 4: thought the split had some life to it. Kade's been good.
- 1:38:31Speaker 6: He's had some little hiccups here and there to start
- 1:38:33Speaker 6: the year, but Kade's been looking better and better each
- 1:38:36Speaker 6: time out.
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: Brian, number nine, he's been doing it all year, obviously,
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: but just today, three hits.
- 1:38:41Speaker 13: Three spaces on the air.
- 1:38:42Speaker 4: What did you see at the end of the touchdown?
- 1:38:44Speaker 4: Finds a way to get on base.
- 1:38:45Speaker 6: He knows that's his role in the nine hole, and
- 1:38:48Speaker 6: He's been doing a great job of it, but just
- 1:38:50Speaker 6: love where Brian's at, taking what pitchers are giving him.
- 1:38:52Speaker 32: Losing the ABS system changed things.
- 1:38:57Speaker 6: I mean, you can nitpick a couple pitches probably that
- 1:38:59Speaker 6: we may have challenged or they may have challenged, but
- 1:39:02Speaker 6: we've played baseball that way for a really long time.
- 1:39:04Speaker 4: So there's just kind of a funny moment.
- 1:39:08Speaker 6: It's amazing that if you guys use the system for
- 1:39:11Speaker 6: a month and once it went out, everybody started doing it.
- 1:39:14Speaker 12: You know what I mean?
- 1:39:15Speaker 4: That's just kind of how, you know, that's how it works, right?
- 1:39:17Speaker 6: As soon as you lose it, then you want to,
- 1:39:19Speaker 6: then you want to use it as much as you can.
- 1:39:22Speaker 4: What about getting back to third there?
- 1:39:24Speaker 12: You know, I guess he was going on contact. Yeah.
- 1:39:27Speaker 6: I mean, first and third in that situation, you go
- 1:39:29Speaker 6: on contact. That was a great read by him to
- 1:39:31Speaker 6: get back and heck of a slide to avoid the tag, which,
- 1:39:34Speaker 6: you know, ended up, you know, being a huge moment
- 1:39:36Speaker 6: for us.
- 1:39:37Speaker 4: Was on his air. What'd you, what'd you see? I
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: didn't see it.
- 1:39:40Speaker 6: It just looked like he kind of made an errant
- 1:39:42Speaker 6: throw from, you know, did a pivot turn and just
- 1:39:45Speaker 6: kind of sailed at arm's side a little bit. But,
- 1:39:46Speaker 6: you know, obviously Gavin settled in and didn't let it
- 1:39:50Speaker 6: hurt us too much.
- 1:39:52Speaker 31: Good to see Gavin going up to Travis in the
- 1:39:54Speaker 31: dugout afterwards.
- 1:39:55Speaker 3: These guys love each other.
- 1:39:58Speaker 6: I mean, and they embrace each other from the day
- 1:40:00Speaker 6: they get here. And, you know, no one's trying to
- 1:40:03Speaker 6: make errors on purpose. No one's trying to strike out
- 1:40:04Speaker 6: on purpose. Mistakes are going to happen. Bad plays are
- 1:40:08Speaker 6: going to happen. Pick each other up and let's move on.
- 1:40:11Speaker 6: How do you feel about the run series now? I
- 1:40:14Speaker 6: enjoyed the heck out of the off day. You know,
- 1:40:18Speaker 6: it was good to get a win. It's always happier
- 1:40:20Speaker 6: when we fly across the country after a win. So
- 1:40:22Speaker 6: I'm sure the plane will be nice and rowdy and
- 1:40:24Speaker 6: the guys will have a good time.
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: So that wraps up this brief homestand. Just three games
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: against Tampa Bay and now an off day tomorrow. Guardians
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: will be in Sacramento Friday night to take on the
- 1:40:38Speaker 2: Athletics with a 940 first pitch. We'll be on the
- 1:40:41Speaker 2: air with the warm-up show at 905. The win today
- 1:40:45Speaker 2: brings the Guardians back to the 500 mark at 16
- 1:40:48Speaker 2: and 16 on the year. Tampa Bay's six-game win streak
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: goes by the boards with a raise now 18 and 12.
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: Thanks to Brian Motze as always for all of his
- 1:40:58Speaker 2: help on today's broadcast at Command Center. And for Tom Hamilton,
- 1:41:03Speaker 2: this is Jim Rosenhouse reminding you the final score today
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: from Progressive Field, the Cleveland Guardians three, the Tampa Bay
- 1:41:10Speaker 2: Rays one. Have a great night, everyone.
- 1:41:12Speaker 4: Well, I sure am glad that it's rained pretty heavy
- 1:41:17Speaker 4: today in my neck of the woods again. It was
- 1:41:19Speaker 4: getting awful dry out there, wasn't it? I'm not used
- 1:41:21Speaker 4: to having a day without a good downpour. It's just
- 1:41:26Speaker 4: one of those Aprils coming to an end, though. April 29th.
- 1:41:30Speaker 4: Welcome to a Wednesday afternoon. Guardians victors today. Let me
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: give you the latest weather update. It's 53 degrees.
- 1:41:37Speaker 5: 53 degrees.
- 1:41:38Speaker 4: It's a little chilly out there today. Overcast skies, 53 degrees.
- 1:41:42Speaker 4: We had a bunch of rain in my neck of
- 1:41:44Speaker 4: the woods and everything's so saturated now. And so you
- 1:41:49Speaker 4: just wonder, when's it going to dry out? You can't
- 1:41:51Speaker 4: help but walk on your yard and it goes squish, squish, squish, squish.
- 1:41:55Speaker 4: Your feet sink into it with all the rain that
- 1:41:57Speaker 4: we've been having, but so be it. So be it.
- 1:42:01Speaker 4: There's so much to talk about, but I got to
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: tell you about two things that were to text me. Uh,
- 1:42:09Speaker 4: One comes from my buddy James. Jimmy sent me this
- 1:42:15Speaker 4: from Sandusky. All right. So this is from Sandusky. And
- 1:42:23Speaker 4: it's a shot of the Speedway sign, Speedway gas station
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: sign in Sandusky. Unleaded $ 4.
- 1:42:33Speaker 10: 99.
- 1:42:33Speaker 4: Unleaded is $ 5 a gallon. This is at the Speedway
- 1:42:36Speaker 4: gas station. in Sandusky. E85, that's that flex fuel, it
- 1:42:44Speaker 4: has more of the ethanol in it, is 470. So
- 1:42:47Speaker 4: for 87 octane in Sandusky, it's now $ 5 a gallon.
- 1:42:50Speaker 4: And for E85, it's 470. I mean, almost all of
- 1:42:53Speaker 4: us use 87 octane. All right, so that's number one.
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: There's a picture of the actual sign that you would
- 1:43:16Speaker 4: see out in a corner. Five bucks for 87 unleaded.
- 1:43:23Speaker 4: So now let me go here. That's in Sandusky. So
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: now let me go to another one. Another friend texts
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: me who says his buddy saw gas here at 469.
- 1:43:41Speaker 4: Meaning 87, what everybody uses, 87 octane, 469. I mean,
- 1:43:56Speaker 4: this is just happening since I've been sitting here at
- 1:44:00Speaker 4: the radio station today. So I have not witnessed this personally.
- 1:44:03Speaker 4: I've not seen this personally. Have you anywhere? I put
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: it out to all of you. I mean, is this
- 1:44:11Speaker 4: what's going on? I have not. Like I said, I
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: didn't notice that when I was driving into the station today,
- 1:44:19Speaker 4: earlier this afternoon. But these were messages that I was receiving.
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: One was at 4 o'clock today. And here's another one
- 1:44:32Speaker 4: from a guy. He said from his daughter. Gas is $ 4. 99.
- 1:44:41Speaker 4: So that's got to be somewhere around here. Now a
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: friend of mine just texted me and said in Canfield
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: it's $ 4.
- 1:44:49Speaker 26: 39.
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: Not $ 4.
- 1:44:49Speaker 13: 29, $ 4.
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: 39 in Canfield. So I'm just trying to give you
- 1:44:54Speaker 4: the latest of what people are sending me. So is
- 1:45:08Speaker 4: it going to be 469 tomorrow? So this is just
- 1:45:15Speaker 4: text messages that I'm actually receiving from my sources. Doesn't
- 1:45:20Speaker 4: that sound official? From my vast array of friends. Canfield's
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: at 439. My other buddy said his daughter sees it
- 1:45:29Speaker 4: at 499. My other buddy in Sandusky just sent me
- 1:45:34Speaker 4: the picture of the actual sign. 487 octane at $ 499.
- 1:45:38Speaker 4: Then another buddy sent me one at $ 469. I mean,
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: this is crazy. If that's a report in, faithful followers,
- 1:45:53Speaker 4: wherever you might be, what do you see? I mean,
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: that is definite sticker shock if that's the case. I mean, that's–
- 1:46:08Speaker 4: and Trump and the Republicans can try to sell you
- 1:46:12Speaker 4: on Iran all they want. But if your gas price
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: is at $ 4. 69 or $ 5 a gallon, good luck, guys.
- 1:46:23Speaker 4: Good luck trying to tell everybody how better off they are.
- 1:46:31Speaker 4: Let me say it. I'm going to start at the
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: end of the phone bank and work the other way.
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: You're on the air. Okay. You're on the air.
- 1:46:38Speaker 18: It's the golden age. Yeah.
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: Where is the golden age? Where is the golden age?
- 1:46:44Speaker 18: Before long, I'm going to.
- 1:46:48Speaker 4: Have to get one of those e-bikes. I'll be riding
- 1:46:52Speaker 4: to work on an e-bike.
- 1:46:53Speaker 18: It's within a month, I think. One month, month and
- 1:46:58Speaker 18: a half. No belly aching or nothing. That's five bucks.
- 1:47:02Speaker 18: That's a pin out of my pocket. Not a problem.
- 1:47:04Speaker 4: Oh, a gallon.
- 1:47:05Speaker 20: It's golden age.
- 1:47:06Speaker 4: It's the Golden Age. Where is the Golden Age? It
- 1:47:11Speaker 4: seems like it's currently on hiatus. I mean, can you
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: imagine if..
- 1:47:16Speaker 18: It's stuck on one of those tankers.
- 1:47:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I don't understand what's going on at
- 1:47:22Speaker 4: some of these stations. I'm just trying to give everybody
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: the very latest. And you're right. Where's the Golden Age?
- 1:47:30Speaker 4: Can you imagine that? Stand by, please. Back with J.J.
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: the Liberal in a minute. More of your calls straight ahead.
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: We're here tonight till 7. I mean, in all seriousness,
- 1:47:47Speaker 4: all kidding aside, you're asking a good question. Where's the
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: golden age that we were promised, Mr.
- 1:47:53Speaker 5: Trump?
- 1:47:53Speaker 4: I mean, if we're seeing... $ 4. 39 for gas, and these
- 1:47:58Speaker 4: people are saying they're seeing stations at $ 4. 69 and $ 4. 99,
- 1:48:01Speaker 4: then where the hell is the golden age?
- 1:48:05Speaker 18: Yeah, and they want, what is it, $ 200 billion? Would
- 1:48:08Speaker 18: they want more for the war? And then that was
- 1:48:11Speaker 18: the other thing I was watching today, uh, head check on,
- 1:48:13Speaker 18: on what he was being, being, uh, you know, he's
- 1:48:16Speaker 18: in front of Congress and, um, you know, I keep
- 1:48:20Speaker 18: going back to thinking, you know, if it was to
- 1:48:23Speaker 18: stop the, the, them of, uh, of making or having any, um,
- 1:48:28Speaker 18: nuclear weapons, we, we do, we, they, they like to
- 1:48:31Speaker 18: use the word, what the, um, decimated them. And so
- 1:48:34Speaker 18: if that was taken care of, and there was really
- 1:48:36Speaker 18: a regime change because now the sun is in charge,
- 1:48:40Speaker 18: then I'm wondering, why are we there? And the thing is,
- 1:48:44Speaker 18: is that it's you and me, and even people that
- 1:48:48Speaker 18: I could care really less if they had to pay more,
- 1:48:50Speaker 18: like Vince or Bubba Ganoush or any of those guys,
- 1:48:53Speaker 18: they're paying more too. And they're asking, we're the ones
- 1:48:56Speaker 18: that are going to be paying for this war, right?
- 1:48:58Speaker 18: You and I are doing it right now.
- 1:49:00Speaker 4: Well, it's like you said, you ain't seen the oil
- 1:49:05Speaker 4: companies have record profits, too.
- 1:49:07Speaker 18: Oh, of course they're having American profits. Remember he said
- 1:49:10Speaker 18: when they took over Venezuela, he said that the people
- 1:49:14Speaker 18: that were going to be running Venezuela were going to
- 1:49:16Speaker 18: be the oil companies. They were going to go in there,
- 1:49:19Speaker 18: they were going to get the money back.
- 1:49:20Speaker 3: To the people.
- 1:49:20Speaker 4: Yeah, but I mean, it's supposed to be... Now, the
- 1:49:23Speaker 4: only good news that was out there today was... Saudi
- 1:49:28Speaker 4: Arabia said that they no longer want to be a
- 1:49:30Speaker 4: part of OPEC because OPEC would always, they got a
- 1:49:33Speaker 4: pipeline and OPEC would always tell you how much, it's
- 1:49:36Speaker 4: not like collusion. It would always tell you how much
- 1:49:38Speaker 4: you could pump through it. And now if you're not
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: a part of OPEC with their pipeline, instead of pumping
- 1:49:44Speaker 4: 2 million barrels through it a day, they can up
- 1:49:47Speaker 4: it to 4 million. So, so that, I mean, if
- 1:49:51Speaker 4: things are changing now, if you can break up OPEC,
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: because it's nothing but collusion of controlling prices. You know
- 1:50:02Speaker 4: who was behind that, incidentally? Henry Kissinger, of all people,
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: was the brains behind OPEC, which ultimately has screwed us
- 1:50:10Speaker 4: because all those oil-producing nations, you couldn't do that in
- 1:50:13Speaker 4: the United States of America. They'd say, that's against the law,
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: that's collusion. But it was okay for the oil people
- 1:50:19Speaker 4: to say, let's all... only put this amount out and
- 1:50:23Speaker 4: work all together to spike prices and stop competition. Henry
- 1:50:27Speaker 4: Kissinger was the guy that was buying that. So that's
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: the only good news, positive news I heard today was
- 1:50:34Speaker 4: about that.
- 1:50:36Speaker 18: And I'm not picking on Trump. It's the Democrats, too.
- 1:50:40Speaker 18: This is both sides here that are, you know, I
- 1:50:48Speaker 18: like to blame him for certain things, but the Democrats
- 1:50:51Speaker 18: are just as culpable in this.
- 1:50:55Speaker 4: Well, here it is, J.J., Dow slides more than 250 points,
- 1:50:59Speaker 4: posting a fifth day of losses as oil prices rise.
- 1:51:03Speaker 4: So the Dow is down 280. The S & P
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: is down 285. I got to see here. I wish
- 1:51:09Speaker 4: you would.
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: And we're here tonight till 7 on Wednesday, April 29th.
- 1:51:13Speaker 12: It's 53 degrees.
- 1:51:14Speaker 4: And you're on the air.
- 1:51:15Speaker 20: Yeah, Ron.
- 1:51:15Speaker 4: Oil was way up again today.
- 1:51:25Speaker 13: Over $ 107 a barrel around 3 o'clock. And the bond
- 1:51:30Speaker 13: market is also crashing. And it could only be because
- 1:51:35Speaker 13: Wall Street thought Jerome Powell's final act as chairman would
- 1:51:40Speaker 13: not to be lower interest rates. Now, when mature wells
- 1:51:45Speaker 13: shut down, bottom water rushes in. And that's a process
- 1:51:50Speaker 13: called water coning. Oil droplets get trapped in rock pours,
- 1:51:55Speaker 13: and that oil can never be recovered. And Iran's oil
- 1:51:59Speaker 13: fields are declining 5% to 8% per year. They're also
- 1:52:05Speaker 13: in decline.
- 1:52:06Speaker 4: So basically you're saying once they run out of places
- 1:52:10Speaker 4: to store the oil and shut it down, it leads
- 1:52:13Speaker 4: to problems?
- 1:52:15Speaker 13: Once they cap those wells, too much water gets in.
- 1:52:19Speaker 13: That oil is lost for good. You can't pump it
- 1:52:23Speaker 13: out of the ground. It's useless. And now, you know, Rich,
- 1:52:28Speaker 13: the pharmacist thinks that when the war ends, we will
- 1:52:31Speaker 13: see happy days again. He thinks inflation will come down
- 1:52:35Speaker 13: when the war ends. But, Ron, you know that inflation, Trump,
- 1:52:39Speaker 13: can stop inflation today by telling the Fed chair to
- 1:52:43Speaker 13: stop creating excess money. And, you know, Rich, like Dan Bondi,
- 1:52:48Speaker 13: cites that, well, the stock markets are at all-time highs. Well,
- 1:52:53Speaker 13: you know, that's great for the multi-billionaires, but most ordinary
- 1:52:57Speaker 13: people can afford to buy stocks in the ones that
- 1:53:00Speaker 13: have four oh one k's are withdrawing money from the
- 1:53:05Speaker 13: four oh one k's at record rates to pay for
- 1:53:08Speaker 13: the high cost of living and rich thinks uh... a
- 1:53:13Speaker 13: i will solve work economic problems well one that brings
- 1:53:18Speaker 13: me to uh... a i doubted data centers you know uh..
- 1:53:25Speaker 24: Uh..
- 1:53:25Speaker 13: What What did I say that the Ohio is now
- 1:53:30Speaker 13: fourth in the country for most data centers with 193,
- 1:53:33Speaker 13: but 120 of them are in New Albany. And Lex
- 1:53:40Speaker 13: Wexner owns the biggest house in Ohio, and Epstein owns
- 1:53:44Speaker 13: the second biggest house in Ohio. I believe Epstein's still alive. But,
- 1:53:50Speaker 13: you know, taxpayer money... is funneled to companies that Wexner created,
- 1:53:58Speaker 13: and J.D. Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy are connected to this
- 1:54:02Speaker 13: ring of corruption. Now, what Wexner, Epstein, and other partners
- 1:54:06Speaker 13: did was they created a model for the takeover of
- 1:54:09Speaker 13: local governments through a public and private partnership. They started
- 1:54:15Speaker 13: in New Albany in the late 1980s, and it's since
- 1:54:18Speaker 13: spread to cover the entire state of Ohio. And this
- 1:54:22Speaker 13: system has allowed Wexner to use billions of dollars of
- 1:54:26Speaker 13: Ohio tax payer money with minimal public scrutiny in what
- 1:54:32Speaker 13: is described as a massive welfare system for corporations.
- 1:54:35Speaker 4: I don't know that there isn't scrutiny on him because
- 1:54:38Speaker 4: Wexner is tied tight to Epstein and signed a lot
- 1:54:43Speaker 4: of stuff over to Epstein. And so you can see where,
- 1:54:46Speaker 4: even was it at Ohio State, they were taking whatever
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: building was named by him. Students wanted his name taken
- 1:54:52Speaker 4: off of it. So we shall see as time goes on.
- 1:54:54Speaker 4: I did hear a read where most of these data
- 1:54:57Speaker 4: centers are on Columbus, Ohio. And we are, I think
- 1:55:02Speaker 4: you are correct, the fourth largest.
- 1:55:04Speaker 13: Well, New Albany, it's just south of Columbus.
- 1:55:07Speaker 4: Yeah, and they're in that area.
- 1:55:11Speaker 13: But you know, some of the biggest beneficiaries are Amazon
- 1:55:16Speaker 13: and Google.
- 1:55:17Speaker 4: Here's what I found disturbing about it. As I was reading, Todd,
- 1:55:21Speaker 4: I was reading about this myself this morning. And in
- 1:55:25Speaker 4: many of these, then this is Governor DeWine, folks. Governor DeWine,
- 1:55:30Speaker 4: some of these data centers are getting tax abatements. They're
- 1:55:34Speaker 4: getting all kinds of incentives thrown at them. And I
- 1:55:38Speaker 4: was reading that and I'm thinking, what is wrong with DeWine?
- 1:55:42Speaker 4: Why would you give any incentive to to a data
- 1:55:45Speaker 4: center that needs to be here for, I mean, we're
- 1:55:48Speaker 4: the sweet spot. I would never, I wouldn't give them
- 1:55:50Speaker 4: any tax abatement or sales tax abatement. So DeWine gave
- 1:55:55Speaker 4: them sales tax abatement. So they don't have to pay
- 1:55:57Speaker 4: any sales tax on the materials that they buy to
- 1:55:59Speaker 4: build the data center. And then to give them property
- 1:56:02Speaker 4: tax abatement, this is, they've.
- 1:56:06Speaker 13: Gone one step further. Now, Wexner says, privately taxes Ohioans
- 1:56:13Speaker 13: in New Orleans.
- 1:56:15Speaker 4: Listen, I don't know about just dealing with data centers.
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: I'm not focused on Wexner right now. I'm just looking
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: at trying to figure out. I was reading that this morning.
- 1:56:23Speaker 4: Why would you do such a thing? I'm not opposed
- 1:56:26Speaker 4: to a data center coming to our community. It is
- 1:56:29Speaker 4: the future. But by God, I am totally opposed to
- 1:56:32Speaker 4: it if it gets any tax break at all. Pay
- 1:56:34Speaker 4: your property tax like everybody else. Period.
- 1:56:38Speaker 13: Well, the data centers have caused huge increases in power bills.
- 1:56:43Speaker 4: That is true.
- 1:56:44Speaker 13: Whitney Webb, who researched this, says she has been contacted
- 1:56:49Speaker 13: by Ohioans who tell her that their power bills are
- 1:56:53Speaker 13: now $ 700 a month for their single-family homes, most in
- 1:56:59Speaker 13: the Columbus area as of now.
- 1:57:02Speaker 4: I don't know about... I haven't heard that, but... Let's
- 1:57:06Speaker 4: put it to AEP is who supplies your power in
- 1:57:09Speaker 4: my neck of the woods. So when you got the
- 1:57:13Speaker 4: bid going on power, first of all, I got to
- 1:57:16Speaker 4: get one Dave Thomas. When the election is over, get
- 1:57:18Speaker 4: him back on. A lot of these data centers have
- 1:57:22Speaker 4: to supply their own power. They have to produce their
- 1:57:26Speaker 4: own power. But I was also reading they were doing
- 1:57:30Speaker 4: that by building their own power plant facility there. that
- 1:57:34Speaker 4: would be run by natural gas. So let's say they
- 1:57:37Speaker 4: do that. Let's say they all do that and they
- 1:57:39Speaker 4: all start using a bunch of natural gas to create
- 1:57:43Speaker 4: electricity for the data centers. Well, Frank, here's a trick question.
- 1:57:46Speaker 4: What do you think that would do to the price
- 1:57:48Speaker 4: of natural gas if the demand goes up so much
- 1:57:52Speaker 4: for all these electric-producing plants being built by data centers
- 1:57:57Speaker 4: using natural gas?
- 1:57:59Speaker 13: Well, it's going to cause the price of natural gas
- 1:58:04Speaker 13: and utility bills for Ohioans to skyrocket. And, Ron, I'm
- 1:58:10Speaker 13: telling you what the strategy for Wexner is. This model
- 1:58:15Speaker 13: is to privatize all government in Ohio. All these data
- 1:58:20Speaker 13: centers are going to be privately run, and eventually what
- 1:58:24Speaker 13: he wants... is one gigantic corporation in Ohio.
- 1:58:27Speaker 4: Well, I don't care what he wants. That's not going
- 1:58:30Speaker 4: to happen. That's a whole other story. All right, Frank.
- 1:58:34Speaker 4: I'm not getting into it today. All right, you're on air.
- 1:58:38Speaker 12: Hey, Ron.
- 1:58:40Speaker 33: I forgot to ask you.
- 1:58:41Speaker 34: I don't know.
- 1:58:42Speaker 33: Maybe you would talk to J2.
- 1:58:45Speaker 4: It's not J2. It's G2, for God's sakes.
- 1:58:48Speaker 3: What?
- 1:58:49Speaker 21: President Trump.
- 1:58:50Speaker 12: They tried to get him again.
- 1:58:52Speaker 4: Yeah, that was over the weekend, yeah.
- 1:58:55Speaker 21: Yeah, it's terrible.
- 1:58:56Speaker 12: I just wondered. I'm kind of worried.
- 1:58:58Speaker 20: They better get good security, you know?
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: I saw a video of you playing a, what is it,
- 1:59:02Speaker 4: the ukulele?
- 1:59:03Speaker 12: Oh, did you like it?
- 1:59:05Speaker 4: You've got to comb your hair.
- 1:59:07Speaker 12: Oh, yeah. Well, it looked bad.
- 1:59:09Speaker 4: I mean, you've got to clean up a little bit.
- 1:59:13Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:59:14Speaker 20: I've got to go to Great Clips tomorrow.
- 1:59:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you definitely got to go there and, yes.
- 1:59:22Speaker 25: Yes.
- 1:59:22Speaker 4: You look like a mad scientist.
- 1:59:25Speaker 35: That was Mike from Cleveland.
- 1:59:27Speaker 20: It was pretty good, you know?
- 1:59:28Speaker 4: I didn't care about him. I was looking at Dick
- 1:59:31Speaker 4: from Dayton, and I was saying, my God, you know,
- 1:59:32Speaker 4: he looks like a mad scientist.
- 1:59:35Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:59:36Speaker 4: Let me know if you get it all cleaned up.
- 1:59:38Speaker 4: Guardians won today, incidentally.
- 1:59:40Speaker 12: Yeah, I know. I'm glad for him. Well, have a
- 1:59:42Speaker 12: good day.
- 1:59:43Speaker 4: Dick from Dayton. You're on the air.
- 1:59:46Speaker 32: Ron.
- 1:59:47Speaker 4: Speaking.
- 1:59:48Speaker 21: You're starting to worry me a little, buddy. Like you're
- 1:59:51Speaker 21: giving up on Trump here. Are the Democrats getting to you, buddy?
- 1:59:54Speaker 4: No, they're not getting to me.
- 1:59:55Speaker 21: Well, listen, now, what this thing with Iran, Ron, this
- 1:59:59Speaker 21: had to be done. It had to be done years
- 2:00:01Speaker 21: ago because all they want is all the Jews and
- 2:00:04Speaker 21: Christians are dead. You know what I mean? And if
- 2:00:06Speaker 21: they get a nuke, they'd use it ASAP, and you
- 2:00:09Speaker 21: know it. Here's another thing, Ron. This had to be done.
- 2:00:13Speaker 21: I would pay $ 5 a gallon for gas. I want
- 2:00:17Speaker 21: Social Security if it's going to secure Iran and not
- 2:00:22Speaker 21: getting a nuclear warhead to take us out. Temporarily, gas
- 2:00:27Speaker 21: prices are going to go down, and this is what
- 2:00:30Speaker 21: the Democrats want. They want everything to go wrong. You
- 2:00:33Speaker 21: know what the definition of a Democrat is?
- 2:00:37Speaker 4: No, what is the definition?
- 2:00:38Speaker 3: Hate.
- 2:00:39Speaker 13: Hate.
- 2:00:41Speaker 21: A lot of us used to vote Democrat, and then
- 2:00:43Speaker 21: we realized... What they did with Trump, the assassination attempts,
- 2:00:48Speaker 21: all indicting him on all this. And like the guy said,
- 2:00:52Speaker 21: they hate Trump. More than they love America. I could
- 2:00:57Speaker 21: never in my life vote for a Democrat again. They
- 2:01:01Speaker 21: are sick. They are demonized, except Fetterman. I do like him.
- 2:01:05Speaker 12: He should be a Republican.
- 2:01:06Speaker 21: But I would never vote for a Democrat again. I
- 2:01:09Speaker 21: think Trump got it together. I would never give up
- 2:01:12Speaker 21: on him. And you're talking to a person that voted
- 2:01:15Speaker 21: all Democrats before Trump came in. They're sick. The Democrats
- 2:01:19Speaker 21: are some sick people, Ron. And when I listen to you,
- 2:01:21Speaker 21: it seems like you're starting to.
- 2:01:22Speaker 12: Get a little..
- 2:01:23Speaker 21: You know, a little bit upset or starting to agree
- 2:01:26Speaker 21: with the Democrat. I don't want to hear that.
- 2:01:29Speaker 4: Well, sometimes I am a little upset over $ 5 a
- 2:01:33Speaker 4: gallon gas and $ 4. 29 a gallon gas and the affordability
- 2:01:39Speaker 4: issue that's going on. And I think that's a big issue.
- 2:01:44Speaker 4: And I would be as upset with it if it
- 2:01:47Speaker 4: was Biden. Listen, as I've said a million times, as
- 2:01:50Speaker 4: I say to you, I'm not a cheerleader for Donald Trump.
- 2:01:53Speaker 13: Right.
- 2:01:53Speaker 4: All right, so I'm not a cheerleader.
- 2:01:57Speaker 21: And I'll tell you another thing, Ron. There's a lot
- 2:01:59Speaker 21: of Democrats that agree, maybe not a lot, but there are...
- 2:02:05Speaker 21: Many Democrats would agree with what Trump's doing and his
- 2:02:08Speaker 21: policies with the border and everything, but they're so damn
- 2:02:12Speaker 21: scared to say anything because they think they'll get blackballed.
- 2:02:15Speaker 21: So they're scared. They don't vote with their heart. They
- 2:02:18Speaker 21: vote with the agenda. I can't stand a Democrat anymore.
- 2:02:23Speaker 21: So that's what I just wanted to mention to you
- 2:02:24Speaker 21: about that. The Democrats are nothing but hate.
- 2:02:28Speaker 4: Gotcha. NewsRadio 570 WDQ, and you're on the air.
- 2:02:33Speaker 12: Man, Ron, I can't believe people talk about Democrats like that.
- 2:02:36Speaker 12: But listen.
- 2:02:37Speaker 4: You're nothing but full of hate. You hear me? You're
- 2:02:39Speaker 4: full of hate.
- 2:02:42Speaker 12: There's a lot of things I don't hate. There's a
- 2:02:43Speaker 12: lot of things I hate. I hate the Cleveland Browns.
- 2:02:45Speaker 12: I hate the Indians, Guardians, whatever you want to call them.
- 2:02:48Speaker 12: The Yankees will beat them. I don't like the Cavaliers, right?
- 2:02:52Speaker 12: And I'm going to be honest with you, I ain't
- 2:02:53Speaker 12: too crazy about Youngstown. This is not why I wanted
- 2:03:00Speaker 12: to call you, but I got to tell you this.
- 2:03:02Speaker 12: I listened to you talk to that gentleman down there
- 2:03:04Speaker 12: from Florida, right?
- 2:03:06Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:03:07Speaker 12: I don't see why anybody, especially you, because you was
- 2:03:10Speaker 12: on top of this, right, would be shocked by anything
- 2:03:16Speaker 12: they do down in Columbus. They just had the worst
- 2:03:19Speaker 12: scandal in the history of politics in the state of Ohio.
- 2:03:25Speaker 12: And some of the people are still there. But that's
- 2:03:28Speaker 12: not why I called you. I called you. This is
- 2:03:31Speaker 12: going to pertain to the last call.
- 2:03:32Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:03:34Speaker 12: Now, last time I checked, because I've seen something, and
- 2:03:37Speaker 12: I've talked to people about it, because, Ron, you know
- 2:03:40Speaker 12: and I know, because we're girl dads, you know? What
- 2:03:44Speaker 12: makes us a better person for our daughters? You know that,
- 2:03:48Speaker 12: and I know that. We talked, right? So I try
- 2:03:51Speaker 12: to be a better person. So I'm sitting here watching.
- 2:03:54Speaker 12: I didn't know Tucker Carlson was a Democrat, right?
- 2:03:58Speaker 4: I don't think he is.
- 2:04:00Speaker 12: I'm sitting here watching Tucker Carlson. apologized to me for
- 2:04:06Speaker 12: supporting Donald Trump. I'm watching NTG, right? Dog out Trump.
- 2:04:11Speaker 12: I didn't know she was a Democrat neither, right? And
- 2:04:14Speaker 12: then I watched Kansas Owing, right?
- 2:04:18Speaker 4: First of all, neither one of them are Democrats. I
- 2:04:20Speaker 4: know Tucker was supposed to be interviewing Marjorie Taylor Greene.
- 2:04:24Speaker 4: I haven't seen it. It should be an interesting interview.
- 2:04:26Speaker 4: But I can assure you, Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor
- 2:04:29Speaker 4: Greene We'll never support Kamala Harris or Joe Biden, I
- 2:04:33Speaker 4: can assure you that.
- 2:04:35Speaker 18: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 2:04:37Speaker 12: <HAL> <HAL> Are you telling me there's other people besides
- 2:04:39Speaker 12: Democrats that don't like Donald Trump?
- 2:04:42Speaker 4: Well, I think this is a problem with Donald Trump.
- 2:04:45Speaker 4: I think you take a look at Tucker Carlson, who
- 2:04:47Speaker 4: was on stage trying to get Trump elected, and you
- 2:04:51Speaker 4: take a look at Marjorie Taylor Greene, that was there
- 2:04:53Speaker 4: from the very beginning. I think it's a major flaw
- 2:04:56Speaker 4: that Trump has. If they disagree with him on an issue,
- 2:05:00Speaker 4: it's like if you don't agree with Trump 100% of
- 2:05:02Speaker 4: the time, then he turns on you and... He forgets
- 2:05:08Speaker 4: all the good you've done. He turns on you, as
- 2:05:11Speaker 4: he has when he called to Tucker Carlson low IQ.
- 2:05:14Speaker 4: He said that about Megyn Kelly, and he said that
- 2:05:19Speaker 4: about Candace, and he said that about Marjorie Taylor Greene.
- 2:05:23Speaker 4: Just because they disagree with him on the Epstein files,
- 2:05:26Speaker 4: or they disagree with him on this Iranian situation... I
- 2:05:32Speaker 4: think it's America. You've got a right to say, in general,
- 2:05:35Speaker 4: I agree with most of the stuff he does, and
- 2:05:38Speaker 4: I disagree with him on these two things. But with Trump,
- 2:05:40Speaker 4: he just turns on him. There's nothing about it I like.
- 2:05:44Speaker 4: I think he should have never done that to Tucker
- 2:05:48Speaker 4: or Marjorie Taylor Greene or Candace or– Even Megyn Kelly
- 2:05:52Speaker 4: with that filthy mouth of hers. You ever hear that
- 2:05:54Speaker 4: filthy mouth on Megyn Kelly?
- 2:05:56Speaker 12: You look good dressed in black, Ryan. I don't care.
- 2:05:57Speaker 12: You can't agree because you're married. We don't want your
- 2:06:00Speaker 12: boss to kill you. But that woman look good.
- 2:06:01Speaker 20: Go ahead.
- 2:06:02Speaker 4: Yeah, but Jay, she got a filthy mouth on her.
- 2:06:05Speaker 12: Some of us like that. Now, here comes a couple
- 2:06:12Speaker 12: more questions, right?
- 2:06:13Speaker 13: Yes.
- 2:06:13Speaker 12: Can you say the same thing about MAGA supporters that
- 2:06:16Speaker 12: you just said about Donald Trump as far as how
- 2:06:18Speaker 12: they like somebody or dislike somebody?
- 2:06:21Speaker 4: In what sense? I mean, is it okay for them
- 2:06:23Speaker 4: to disagree?
- 2:06:24Speaker 12: Your last caller called, right, and was dogging the Democrats.
- 2:06:28Speaker 12: And then he said he liked it better. But there
- 2:06:29Speaker 12: was a time when that same guy hated it better.
- 2:06:32Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:06:33Speaker 12: So now, getting back to what I wanted to ask you, right,
- 2:06:37Speaker 12: I'm trying to be a better man. I'm watching Tucker Carlson.
- 2:06:43Speaker 4: Interview Marjorie Taylor Greene. Well, continue to watch Tucker Carlson.
- 2:06:47Speaker 4: I don't think Tucker Carlson's a low IQ guy at all.
- 2:06:49Speaker 4: I think Tucker Carlson's extremely intelligent, man. And you can
- 2:06:52Speaker 4: watch him on some of the stuff he posts on YouTube,
- 2:06:54Speaker 4: and it's pretty insightful.
- 2:06:57Speaker 12: I totally agree, Rob. But this is where the rubber
- 2:07:00Speaker 12: comes to the road.
- 2:07:01Speaker 4: And I actually like Marjorie Taylor Greene. I wish she
- 2:07:05Speaker 4: would have never quit. I kind of fault her for that.
- 2:07:08Speaker 4: I think she should have served out her term. And
- 2:07:11Speaker 4: I like Marjorie Taylor Greene. I think that she was
- 2:07:14Speaker 4: genuinely concerned for her safety for any number of reasons.
- 2:07:22Speaker 4: Nothing to do with Trump, but maybe to do with
- 2:07:24Speaker 4: a foreign country.
- 2:07:26Speaker 12: Well, I can't believe I'm getting ready to say that.
- 2:07:28Speaker 20: But you know what?
- 2:07:28Speaker 12: Those brothers like them old chubby white girls.
- 2:07:30Speaker 4: Yeah, why is that? Why do you brothers like those
- 2:07:34Speaker 4: chubby white girls?
- 2:07:36Speaker 12: I'm going to tell you why. If she can feed herself,
- 2:07:39Speaker 12: she can feed you. All she's got to do is
- 2:07:41Speaker 12: throw one more piece of meat in the dog bone plate.
- 2:07:43Speaker 12: A skinny woman, you've got to take her out to.
- 2:07:48Speaker 4: Eat. Words of wisdom for you guys out there.
- 2:07:52Speaker 12: Getting back to what I was saying.
- 2:07:54Speaker 5: Yes.
- 2:07:55Speaker 12: I've talked to people about this, right? You know, I've
- 2:07:59Speaker 12: seen a lot. I've been through a lot.
- 2:08:02Speaker 4: You've lived a lot.
- 2:08:03Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 2:08:03Speaker 18: Yes.
- 2:08:05Speaker 12: I can't find nowhere in my heart for forgiveness for Tucker, Candace,
- 2:08:14Speaker 12: or MTG.
- 2:08:15Speaker 4: Why not?
- 2:08:15Speaker 12: And people tell me, man, you need to go talk
- 2:08:17Speaker 12: to God about that.
- 2:08:18Speaker 4: No, they still... And I know.
- 2:08:20Speaker 12: If you don't forgive somebody, it's worse on you.
- 2:08:22Speaker 4: Well, they're not to..
- 2:08:23Speaker 5: If you think..
- 2:08:23Speaker 4: Let me say this, Ron.
- 2:08:25Speaker 12: Let me say this. I believe it's because of them
- 2:08:27Speaker 12: why we're here. Now, go ahead.
- 2:08:30Speaker 4: Well, I think it'd be way worse if Kamala Harris
- 2:08:33Speaker 4: was president or Biden ran for another term. And I
- 2:08:36Speaker 4: don't think any one of those people would want that outcome.
- 2:08:40Speaker 4: I just think they disagree with Trump on two issues,
- 2:08:44Speaker 4: Epstein and on the war in Iran. And I think
- 2:08:47Speaker 4: Trump is being a fool for attacking some of his
- 2:08:51Speaker 4: best supporters with that mouth of his. It's a trait
- 2:08:56Speaker 4: of his that it totally turns me on. in a
- 2:09:03Speaker 4: different direction when I hear him talk like that about
- 2:09:06Speaker 4: his good supporters, because I still think they're smart people,
- 2:09:10Speaker 4: and I think they disagree on those two issues, and
- 2:09:12Speaker 4: I think they make some good points on those two issues.
- 2:09:15Speaker 4: So that doesn't mean that they don't support Trump overall.
- 2:09:19Speaker 4: But when you start attacking him like that, it's not
- 2:09:22Speaker 4: something I find admirable.
- 2:09:24Speaker 12: Hey, tell J2 I said hi.
- 2:09:26Speaker 4: It's J2. I'll be right back. So my undisclosed source
- 2:09:40Speaker 4: that's in Sandusky, doing some work in Sandusky, just reported
- 2:09:44Speaker 4: in at the break right there, that all the speedways
- 2:09:50Speaker 4: in Sandusky are at $ 4. 99 a gallon for 87 octane.
- 2:09:57Speaker 4: And so five bucks and diesels at six bucks. at
- 2:10:02Speaker 4: every speedway past in Sandusky. But we're supposed to be
- 2:10:07Speaker 4: okay with that. It's okay as long as, you know,
- 2:10:10Speaker 4: Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapon. You're on the air. Hello.
- 2:10:15Speaker 36: Yeah, I have to give credit to Frank again, two
- 2:10:17Speaker 36: days in a row, for his research and listening to
- 2:10:20Speaker 36: Whitney Webb. She's like a premier researcher on Les Wexner
- 2:10:24Speaker 36: and many other things. If you wait for something to
- 2:10:27Speaker 36: be reported in the mainstream news, you're three years behind
- 2:10:30Speaker 36: what's going on. I mean, you guys have to get
- 2:10:33Speaker 36: onto YouTube, Rumble, whatever, look up people like Whitney Webb.
- 2:10:37Speaker 36: Sean Atwood has a really good podcast out of the U.K.
- 2:10:41Speaker 36: I mean, about really what's going on, because it's not
- 2:10:44Speaker 36: going to be in the mainstream news yet.
- 2:10:47Speaker 4: So what was Frank trying to say?
- 2:10:51Speaker 36: Well, what he's saying is that Les Wexner is behind
- 2:10:53Speaker 36: all these data centers coming to Ohio. And he also
- 2:10:57Speaker 36: has a plan to privatize and take over the government
- 2:11:00Speaker 36: in Ohio.
- 2:11:00Speaker 4: Well, how are you going to do that? How are
- 2:11:03Speaker 4: you going to take over the government in Ohio?
- 2:11:07Speaker 36: I started to privatize everything and make sure he's ahead
- 2:11:10Speaker 36: of everything.
- 2:11:11Speaker 4: Well, good luck at that. I mean, do you think
- 2:11:14Speaker 4: he's going to privatize everything? And all of a sudden
- 2:11:16Speaker 4: the Democrats and Republicans are going to go along with that?
- 2:11:19Speaker 36: Yes, they're going to go along with a lot of
- 2:11:21Speaker 36: things if you pay them enough money. Or if you
- 2:11:24Speaker 36: threaten them.
- 2:11:25Speaker 33: I mean, that's the way power structures work.
- 2:11:28Speaker 17: He's a powerful guy, the most.
- 2:11:30Speaker 36: Powerful guy in Ohio. It's not a joke. And these
- 2:11:32Speaker 36: clothing companies, as far as I'm concerned..
- 2:11:34Speaker 4: He's an old man. Les Weckner is an old man
- 2:11:37Speaker 4: with ties to Epstein. They've taken his name off the
- 2:11:40Speaker 4: buildings at Ohio State. Sometimes things... All right, you agree
- 2:11:45Speaker 4: with Frank.
- 2:11:46Speaker 35: He has minions.
- 2:11:48Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 2:11:49Speaker 33: I agree with Frank.
- 2:11:54Speaker 10: From ABC News, I'm Michelle Franzen. In North Carolina, the
- 2:11:57Speaker 10: Secret Service responding to an incident in Apex outside Raleigh.
- 2:12:01Speaker 10: Police evacuated the business of Tidal Wave Auto Spa due
- 2:12:05Speaker 10: to what Apex police described as a violent individual making
- 2:12:08Speaker 10: public threats toward President Trump. That threat written on the
- 2:12:11Speaker 10: back of a car window. Police say the person has
- 2:12:13Speaker 10: been detained. We're learning new details about Saturday's attempted assassination
- 2:12:17Speaker 10: of the president at the White House correspondent dinner at
- 2:12:20Speaker 10: the Hilton in Washington, D.C., ABC's Alex Prechet says a
- 2:12:24Speaker 10: new court filing offers new selfie photos taken by the suspect.
- 2:12:28Speaker 37: This filing is actually probably the best description of Cole
- 2:12:33Speaker 37: Allen's plans ahead of this alleged attack and also what
- 2:12:37Speaker 37: played out moments before that attack there at the Washington
- 2:12:41Speaker 37: Hilton right before the attack. He carried out allegedly these acts.
- 2:12:45Speaker 37: He's dressed in a red tie and a black shirt
- 2:12:47Speaker 37: and armed with knives and what looks to be a sidearm.
- 2:12:51Speaker 10: Talks remain stalled between the U.S.
- 2:12:53Speaker 3: And Iran.
- 2:12:53Speaker 10: President Trump warning that Iran needs to make a deal.
- 2:12:56Speaker 10: CENTCOM says 42 ships with Iranian oil have been turned
- 2:13:00Speaker 10: back from the Strait of Hormuz and estimates there's 69
- 2:13:02Speaker 10: million barrels of oil that the Iranian regime cannot sell.
- 2:13:07Speaker 10: The Federal Reserve Board keeping interest rates unchanged, citing economic
- 2:13:10Speaker 10: uncertainty due to the ongoing war. Jerome Powell's term as
- 2:13:14Speaker 10: chair now ending, but he'll remain on the board. He
- 2:13:17Speaker 10: also expressed frustration over the Trump administration's unprecedented legal investigations,
- 2:13:22Speaker 10: he says, and pressuring board members, saying it undermines the
- 2:13:25Speaker 10: institution and independence of the board.
- 2:13:27Speaker 31: I worry that these attacks are battering the institution and
- 2:13:31Speaker 31: putting at risk the thing that really matters to the public,
- 2:13:34Speaker 31: which is the ability to conduct monetary policy without taking
- 2:13:36Speaker 31: into consideration political factors.
- 2:13:39Speaker 10: President Trump is hailing the Supreme Court's decision that limits
- 2:13:41Speaker 10: a key section of the Voting Rights Act. The conservative
- 2:13:44Speaker 10: majority ruling Louisiana's second-majority black congressional district was unconstitutional. You're
- 2:13:49Speaker 10: listening to ABC News.
- 2:13:53Speaker 4: Hi, we're back at it. News Radio 570, Dodie Kivian
- 2:13:56Speaker 4: and Ron Furman. You're on the air.
- 2:13:57Speaker 35: Yes, how you doing, Ron?
- 2:13:59Speaker 4: Okay.
- 2:13:59Speaker 35: The interview with Marjorie Taylor Greene is airing right now
- 2:14:03Speaker 35: on the Tucker Carlson Network.
- 2:14:05Speaker 20: Yes.
- 2:14:06Speaker 35: But you have to be a member to watch it
- 2:14:09Speaker 35: live now. I'm a member, but I'm going to watch
- 2:14:11Speaker 35: it later. That's where I get the majority of my information.
- 2:14:17Speaker 35: I don't know if you caught the Jeffrey Sachs interview
- 2:14:19Speaker 35: with Tucker.
- 2:14:21Speaker 4: I saw parts of it, but I did not catch
- 2:14:24Speaker 4: it all. What did you learn, and who is Jeffrey
- 2:14:26Speaker 4: Sachs for our audience?
- 2:14:27Speaker 35: Jeffrey Sachs is one of the most... He's like a
- 2:14:31Speaker 35: G2 on steroids. I mean, he's... a Harvard professor, but
- 2:14:38Speaker 35: he's in foreign policy, and he advises over 100 countries
- 2:14:44Speaker 35: on intelligence and strategies, and a fascinating guy. But he
- 2:14:54Speaker 35: pointed out a lot of Trump's mistakes, and sort of
- 2:14:59Speaker 35: like Joe Kent, But Jeffrey Sachs, and then another interview
- 2:15:04Speaker 35: with John McCarrick, who was the recent interview, he was
- 2:15:08Speaker 35: a CIA whistleblower, and he was even more fascinating than
- 2:15:14Speaker 35: Jeffrey Sachs. He said, Iran was never our problem. And
- 2:15:19Speaker 35: real quick, getting back to that one guy that said
- 2:15:21Speaker 35: Iran wants to kill all the Christians, the only people
- 2:15:25Speaker 35: killing Christians right now in the Middle East are the
- 2:15:28Speaker 35: Jewish people. They're They've killed over 2,000 Christians in Lebanon.
- 2:15:35Speaker 35: Probably 300 of those were children. And what the Lebanese
- 2:15:39Speaker 35: people fear the most from the Israelis, not so much
- 2:15:42Speaker 35: the tanks, but the bulldozers. The Israelis bring in bulldozers
- 2:15:47Speaker 35: and level entire cities. It's like Gaza, too. And it
- 2:15:56Speaker 35: borders on war crimes. And I think that's what Marjorie
- 2:15:59Speaker 35: Taylor Greene is going to be speaking about tonight. And
- 2:16:04Speaker 35: I'll watch that later. But look at the price of
- 2:16:07Speaker 35: gas right now. I was going to call the other day.
- 2:16:09Speaker 35: I said, you know, gas is going to hit $ 5
- 2:16:12Speaker 35: very soon. And I was right. I said it's going
- 2:16:16Speaker 35: to go even higher because even if they do manage
- 2:16:20Speaker 35: to reopen the Strait with all the damage to the infrastructure,
- 2:16:24Speaker 35: it's going to take... four to five to six months
- 2:16:28Speaker 35: to get things back down to where they were. But
- 2:16:33Speaker 35: what bothers me, and boy, I'd like to sit down
- 2:16:36Speaker 35: and have a beer with G2 and have a discussion,
- 2:16:39Speaker 35: that I watched Trump today in the Oval Office with
- 2:16:42Speaker 35: the astronauts, and he seems to have met all of
- 2:16:47Speaker 35: Israel's priorities. You know, we sunk their navy, we did this,
- 2:16:51Speaker 35: we did that. But it's not America first. It's not
- 2:16:54Speaker 35: in my interest or your interest. It's not helping our country.
- 2:17:00Speaker 35: Why do we have, and G2 would probably answer this,
- 2:17:03Speaker 35: why is AIPAC running our government, the Jewish lobby? I mean,
- 2:17:09Speaker 35: they control all of our politicians. And the ones that
- 2:17:12Speaker 35: they don't control, Massey and Marjorie Taylor Greene, they destroy.
- 2:17:17Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 2:17:18Speaker 35: I mean, they destroy them. You'll never hear from Marjorie Taylor. Well,
- 2:17:22Speaker 35: you will on Tucker's show and different shows. But I mean,
- 2:17:25Speaker 35: as far as being a politician, she was a damn
- 2:17:28Speaker 35: good congresswoman. But she has been eliminated and Massey's been neutralized.
- 2:17:35Speaker 4: I don't think either one of those took contributions from that.
- 2:17:39Speaker 4: What was the name of that lobbying group?
- 2:17:40Speaker 20: AIPAC.
- 2:17:41Speaker 4: AIPAC, yeah.
- 2:17:42Speaker 35: A-I-P-A-C-K. It's the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
- 2:17:46Speaker 4: And I don't believe Marjorie Tedder Green or Massey take
- 2:17:50Speaker 4: money from them. Is that correct?
- 2:17:51Speaker 35: That's correct. They came into being under President Lyndon Johnson, AIPAC.
- 2:17:55Speaker 35: And the biggest thing that Johnson made a mistake, they
- 2:17:59Speaker 35: were never required to register as a foreign lobbyist. That's
- 2:18:04Speaker 35: what they are. They're Israelis, our lobbying branch. but they're
- 2:18:09Speaker 35: not registered. I mean, they have... And they own every politician.
- 2:18:13Speaker 35: I hate to think that... I wonder if Michael Rooley's
- 2:18:18Speaker 35: come in contact with them yet. They go after all
- 2:18:20Speaker 35: the new young congressmen that come in. But it's a
- 2:18:26Speaker 35: shame that... And John Kirikou, he's a former CIA whistleblower.
- 2:18:35Speaker 35: He was the guy that... It exposed waterboarding and the
- 2:18:41Speaker 35: other mistakes that we were doing during the Iraq War.
- 2:18:46Speaker 35: But he was really good. He said that our priorities...
- 2:18:51Speaker 35: The biggest threat is not Iran. He said Trump was
- 2:18:54Speaker 35: lied to, first of all, by... If you watch Tucker,
- 2:18:59Speaker 35: the BB files, that's the premium thing, too. You have
- 2:19:03Speaker 35: to pay to watch it.
- 2:19:05Speaker 13: But..
- 2:19:06Speaker 35: Bibi fed Trump all the intelligence that went against our CIA.
- 2:19:11Speaker 35: I know in the past Trump mistrusted the CIA because
- 2:19:15Speaker 35: of what they did for him, but he was getting
- 2:19:17Speaker 35: a lot of good information on Iran. And, you know,
- 2:19:21Speaker 35: they didn't have a bomb. The biggest threat to this
- 2:19:24Speaker 35: country is not Iran. It's the drug cartels. And Trump
- 2:19:28Speaker 35: was going after them, and he sort of took his
- 2:19:32Speaker 35: foot off the gas for some reason. that you have
- 2:19:35Speaker 35: sent an all-out epidemic that's that's killing our country and
- 2:19:41Speaker 35: if you look back it you know afghanistan in the
- 2:19:44Speaker 35: afghanistan war you know how much uh... a drug for
- 2:19:48Speaker 35: produce right now in afghanistan how many uh... heroin opium
- 2:19:53Speaker 35: i think it's heroin zero under the taliban their their
- 2:19:58Speaker 35: farmers again they're not producing that when we were in
- 2:20:03Speaker 35: charge we have the taliban when we were funding them
- 2:20:07Speaker 35: under our reagan and going back the last thirty forty
- 2:20:11Speaker 35: years we were we were funding the uh... growth of
- 2:20:16Speaker 35: drugs because they were selling those drugs to russia in
- 2:20:19Speaker 35: destroying russia and now it does those you know The
- 2:20:25Speaker 35: problem we're having is the Chinese are doing the same
- 2:20:28Speaker 35: thing to us with fentanyl. The Chinese and the..
- 2:20:33Speaker 4: Right, but back up a second. I mean, Trump was
- 2:20:36Speaker 4: attacking that problem, and I got to believe he's still
- 2:20:40Speaker 4: trying to deal with that, taking out the drug boats
- 2:20:42Speaker 4: that are coming in and going after things at the border.
- 2:20:46Speaker 4: I don't think as president you only do one thing
- 2:20:49Speaker 4: and forget to focus on the other stuff. I think
- 2:20:51Speaker 4: that when you... like to believe that's taking care of
- 2:20:54Speaker 4: itself and still being dealt with by..
- 2:20:56Speaker 35: Oh, yes, I know you can do more.
- 2:21:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:21:01Speaker 4: I mean, and I just want to correct you on something.
- 2:21:05Speaker 4: My disappointment with Marjorie Taylor Greene is she quit. I mean,
- 2:21:08Speaker 4: she did not have to quit. I mean, I don't
- 2:21:11Speaker 4: know if..
- 2:21:12Speaker 35: She was destroyed. She knew she couldn't continue. I mean,
- 2:21:16Speaker 35: she couldn't win another election. You know, when Trump, you know...
- 2:21:20Speaker 35: When you crossed..
- 2:21:21Speaker 4: But how is that right? Marjorie Taylor Greene was one
- 2:21:24Speaker 4: of Trump's biggest supporters in the... in the very beginning
- 2:21:28Speaker 4: and had been that all along. Just because she disagrees
- 2:21:32Speaker 4: with him on the Epstein files, and I don't know
- 2:21:35Speaker 4: if she disagreed with him on the Iran war, but
- 2:21:39Speaker 4: just because she disagrees with him on the Epstein files
- 2:21:42Speaker 4: doesn't make her an evil person. I mean, this is
- 2:21:46Speaker 4: my problem, I guess I could say, if I had
- 2:21:49Speaker 4: to look at Trump and say, this is my problem
- 2:21:51Speaker 4: I have with Trump is, if you think that people
- 2:21:54Speaker 4: that help you get elected, Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor.
- 2:21:57Speaker 5: Greene, and.
- 2:22:02Speaker 4: You suddenly say, well, they disagree with me on the
- 2:22:05Speaker 4: Epstein files, or they disagree with me on Iran, that
- 2:22:10Speaker 4: you're going to talk that they're all low IQ and
- 2:22:13Speaker 4: a bunch of bums after they help you get elected,
- 2:22:16Speaker 4: after you thought of them so much that you put
- 2:22:20Speaker 4: them on stage with you? I mean, I think that's
- 2:22:23Speaker 4: a big character flaw with Trump. I mean, I think
- 2:22:26Speaker 4: that's in town.
- 2:22:27Speaker 35: Marjorie Taylor Greene, outside of Trump, got the biggest standing
- 2:22:31Speaker 35: ovation at the Covelli Center when she made that ring
- 2:22:34Speaker 35: around waving at everyone. The people loved her. She was respected.
- 2:22:40Speaker 35: Her problem was not just the Epstein files. She wanted
- 2:22:45Speaker 35: Trump to go after America first. She wanted Trump to
- 2:22:49Speaker 35: go after Fauci, which he didn't do. That's still a
- 2:22:53Speaker 35: big problem.
- 2:22:55Speaker 4: Listen, I would agree with that while you got me
- 2:22:58Speaker 4: on it. It's really stupid, in my opinion, what they're
- 2:23:01Speaker 4: trying to do with Comey with this shells of, what, 86-47.
- 2:23:04Speaker 4: I mean, this is ridiculous.
- 2:23:08Speaker 35: Well, actually, no.
- 2:23:10Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 2:23:10Speaker 4: It's ridiculous. I mean, if you want to go, I'm
- 2:23:13Speaker 4: all for going after Fauci and funding the lab and
- 2:23:19Speaker 4: the cover-up with COVID. I have no problem with that
- 2:23:22Speaker 4: at all. I don't have any problem if you want
- 2:23:24Speaker 4: to go after any of these FBI guys on this
- 2:23:27Speaker 4: facade of Russiagate. And this nonsense, but by taking a
- 2:23:32Speaker 4: picture of 86-47 that he says he stumbled upon on
- 2:23:35Speaker 4: a beach and say, oh, we're going to go after
- 2:23:38Speaker 4: him because it's a threat. I just think it's a
- 2:23:42Speaker 4: giant waste of time. I cannot justify it. Listen, Jimmy
- 2:23:47Speaker 4: Kimmel tells a bad joke. And I don't watch Jimmy Kimmel.
- 2:23:51Speaker 4: I don't care what Jimmy Kimmel has to say. If
- 2:23:54Speaker 4: ABC wants to continue to air the show and lose money,
- 2:23:57Speaker 4: it's their prerogative. I get concerned when we're suddenly going
- 2:24:00Speaker 4: to start to say, well, we're going to go after
- 2:24:03Speaker 4: hate speech or speech we don't approve of. Because when
- 2:24:07Speaker 4: Biden did it, I didn't agree with it then either.
- 2:24:09Speaker 4: When Biden was shutting down people who disagreed with him,
- 2:24:13Speaker 4: the scientists that were totally opposed to him on COVID
- 2:24:15Speaker 4: and silencing them on COVID. On social media, I didn't
- 2:24:19Speaker 4: go for that. Well, I'm not going to go for
- 2:24:21Speaker 4: it if Trump tries to do it, too. I don't
- 2:24:23Speaker 4: care about Jimmy Kimmel's stupid joke. And I think his
- 2:24:28Speaker 4: rating sucks. So if he goes away, he goes away.
- 2:24:30Speaker 4: If he doesn't, he doesn't. It doesn't affect me. I
- 2:24:33Speaker 4: don't care. And the thing with Comey, I think, is
- 2:24:36Speaker 4: a giant waste of time. There are other more important
- 2:24:39Speaker 4: issues to deal with other than a picture he posts
- 2:24:42Speaker 4: of a bunch of sea cells.
- 2:24:45Speaker 5: Period.
- 2:24:46Speaker 4: It's just a waste of time. And it seems petty
- 2:24:49Speaker 4: to me, just as I'm saying to you, I voted
- 2:24:52Speaker 4: for Trump. I'd vote for him again tomorrow. I wouldn't
- 2:24:54Speaker 4: vote for the Democrats at all. They're insane as far
- 2:24:57Speaker 4: as I'm concerned. But that doesn't mean I can't sit
- 2:25:00Speaker 4: here and criticize Trump as well. I'm not going to
- 2:25:03Speaker 4: embrace $ 4. 30 a gallon or $ 4. 99 a gallon. I'm not
- 2:25:08Speaker 4: going to embrace it. I'm not going to go for it.
- 2:25:11Speaker 4: I mean, when you talk about Iran, I don't think
- 2:25:15Speaker 4: it was this imminent threat either. Many people say he
- 2:25:18Speaker 4: was influenced by Israel to do this. And then, of course,
- 2:25:21Speaker 4: you got the people all he was talking about this
- 2:25:23Speaker 4: years ago. But why did he act now? Why did
- 2:25:25Speaker 4: he do it now? Was it a good move? How
- 2:25:29Speaker 4: are you going to get out of this? Because it
- 2:25:31Speaker 4: doesn't seem like as much as you bombed Iran that
- 2:25:34Speaker 4: they're throwing a towel in yet. You got the blockade
- 2:25:36Speaker 4: and you keep telling me every day that we're draining
- 2:25:39Speaker 4: them of everything. Well, when's this going to happen?
- 2:25:42Speaker 35: Real quick, one quick rebuttal. Todd Blanche came out today
- 2:25:46Speaker 35: and addressed your point on Comey about the silly pitcher.
- 2:25:50Speaker 35: And he said that, people, you have to be aware
- 2:25:53Speaker 35: that a grand jury indicted him. The grand jury.
- 2:25:57Speaker 4: Yeah, but that means nothing. You know, when you go
- 2:26:00Speaker 4: in front of a grand jury, there isn't a defense.
- 2:26:02Speaker 35: They have a ton of evidence of wrongdoing by Comey
- 2:26:06Speaker 35: outside of that pitcher.
- 2:26:08Speaker 4: But that's what you're going for? Yeah, but I mean,
- 2:26:11Speaker 4: it seems petty to me. It genuinely seems ridiculous to me.
- 2:26:18Speaker 4: Go after where I want all of the cases on
- 2:26:23Speaker 4: the Somalians stealing all the money in Minnesota or whatever's
- 2:26:28Speaker 4: going on in Ohio or all the fraud that's going on.
- 2:26:31Speaker 35: That'll never happen.
- 2:26:33Speaker 4: Well, this is stuff that's important to me. What's important
- 2:26:36Speaker 4: to me, what Elon Musk was exposing of all the
- 2:26:38Speaker 4: waste of my tax dollars that was being exposed through Doge,
- 2:26:43Speaker 4: that's what's important to me. Where's that? All these people
- 2:26:47Speaker 4: are committing fraud. I would want to see them go
- 2:26:50Speaker 4: after that. The people that did Russiagate and put that together.
- 2:26:53Speaker 4: Fauci and the COVID situation. This is the stuff I'm
- 2:26:57Speaker 4: interested in. I don't give a damn about Comey in
- 2:26:59Speaker 4: a picture of seashells or whatever the hell. I'm having
- 2:27:02Speaker 4: a hard time with it. I don't care. It looks petty.
- 2:27:06Speaker 4: It looks petty to me. I don't care about Jimmy Kimmel.
- 2:27:09Speaker 4: And that's all. I think it waters down the important stuff.
- 2:27:14Speaker 4: Where's the beef, as they used to say years ago?
- 2:27:16Speaker 4: That's what I'm looking for.
- 2:27:18Speaker 35: The clock on Fauci runs out on May 11th. If
- 2:27:20Speaker 35: they don't indict him by May 11th, he's off scot-free.
- 2:27:25Speaker 4: And Trump, listen, I'm not happy with the gas prices.
- 2:27:29Speaker 4: And Trump turning on Margie Taylor Greene and Tucker and
- 2:27:32Speaker 4: Candace Owens. There's nothing about it I like at all.
- 2:27:36Speaker 35: It's not just gas prices. Wait till you see your
- 2:27:38Speaker 35: food prices.
- 2:27:39Speaker 4: You're right.
- 2:27:40Speaker 35: And look at all the businesses that were on the
- 2:27:42Speaker 35: news tonight, these guys running landscaping businesses.
- 2:27:45Speaker 4: You've got to raise your prices, yeah. And that affects
- 2:27:48Speaker 4: every customer.
- 2:27:50Speaker 35: It's going to trickle down to everything.
- 2:27:51Speaker 4: You got it. Absolutely right. All right. Thank you, my friends.
- 2:27:56Speaker 4: Appreciate it. You're on the air.
- 2:27:59Speaker 35: Hey, Ron.
- 2:28:00Speaker 3: Question.
- 2:28:01Speaker 20: And this is a business question. So all these landscaping guys,
- 2:28:06Speaker 20: are they going to raise their prices or are they
- 2:28:08Speaker 20: just going to put on a fuel surcharge?
- 2:28:10Speaker 4: They're going to raise their prices.
- 2:28:12Speaker 12: Okay.
- 2:28:13Speaker 20: So when gas goes down in six months from now
- 2:28:16Speaker 20: or next summer, let's say gas is back down to
- 2:28:18Speaker 20: $ 3 a gallon, are they going to lower their prices?
- 2:28:21Speaker 4: More than likely they're not because the problem that you
- 2:28:23Speaker 4: have is the business has is how much insurance has
- 2:28:28Speaker 4: gone up, double-digit increases on insurance, the cost of equipment,
- 2:28:32Speaker 4: the cost of parts, the cost of repairs. It's not
- 2:28:35Speaker 4: just gasoline, but gasoline is a major factor of all
- 2:28:39Speaker 4: of that stuff. But it certainly is a huge problem
- 2:28:44Speaker 4: right now for everybody. You're garbage, man. If diesel's, what,
- 2:28:49Speaker 4: $ 6 a gallon? Listen, I'm not going to act like
- 2:28:52Speaker 4: that this isn't a big problem for everybody and everybody's
- 2:28:54Speaker 4: going to pay. All of us are going to pay
- 2:28:57Speaker 4: at the grocery store or whatever. Can prices come down?
- 2:29:00Speaker 4: They can, but do they come down quickly? More than
- 2:29:03Speaker 4: likely not. I mean, inflation is, I'm not a Trump
- 2:29:08Speaker 4: cheerleader on this. This is, if gas is $ 4. 69 or
- 2:29:12Speaker 4: $ 5 a gallon, and what's shortly? Are we supposed to
- 2:29:17Speaker 4: say it's okay if it's a month like that or
- 2:29:19Speaker 4: two weeks like that?
- 2:29:21Speaker 20: But the point I'm trying to make is once you
- 2:29:24Speaker 20: raise a price, if you're a business person, and once
- 2:29:27Speaker 20: you raise a price, the chance that you're ever going
- 2:29:30Speaker 20: to decrease that price, even if your costs decrease... you're
- 2:29:34Speaker 20: probably not going to decrease that price as long as
- 2:29:37Speaker 20: people are still willing to pay it.
- 2:29:38Speaker 4: Well, there's still competition. I mean, if you take a look,
- 2:29:42Speaker 4: home prices have decreased in large parts of the country
- 2:29:46Speaker 4: from where they were. I mean, prices do come down.
- 2:29:48Speaker 4: The price of lumber can come down. The price of
- 2:29:50Speaker 4: homes can come down. The price of services can come
- 2:29:54Speaker 4: down because there's still competition.
- 2:29:57Speaker 20: Well, they had increased substantially, though. I mean, home prices.
- 2:30:01Speaker 20: I mean, houses in my neighborhood are selling double what
- 2:30:05Speaker 20: they were 10 years ago. And the three that have
- 2:30:08Speaker 20: just sold recently are all selling at record high prices.
- 2:30:11Speaker 20: So it's possible they've come down maybe 5% due to
- 2:30:14Speaker 20: the loss of demand. But they haven't retracted the 30%, 40%, 50%, 80%
- 2:30:19Speaker 20: gains that they made over the last decade.
- 2:30:21Speaker 4: Well, I don't necessarily think they're going to do that.
- 2:30:24Speaker 4: And your wages haven't gone down 30%, 40%. I mean,
- 2:30:26Speaker 4: you don't... We're not going to go to the person
- 2:30:32Speaker 4: on minimum wage that we're paying. Stand by, Rich. Stand by.
- 2:30:35Speaker 4: Back with Rich, the pharmacist, and more of your calls.
- 2:30:37Speaker 4: We're on verb. We're here until 7. Always interesting talking
- 2:30:40Speaker 4: to Rich. Look forward to more conversation with him in
- 2:30:45Speaker 4: a minute. 570 WKBN. All right. Listen, this thing has
- 2:30:51Speaker 4: got to get wrapped up in Iran. And we shall see.
- 2:30:56Speaker 4: It's just got to get wrapped up. And Trump's got
- 2:31:01Speaker 4: to get back to affordability and the price of a
- 2:31:05Speaker 4: barrel of oil. It's not getting better. It's getting worse.
- 2:31:09Speaker 20: I hope it does get wrapped up. I just think
- 2:31:12Speaker 20: it's going to take at least another month or two.
- 2:31:15Speaker 20: Because I think it's going to take that long for
- 2:31:17Speaker 20: Iran's economy to just basically run out of money and collapse.
- 2:31:22Speaker 4: Well, they could also be doing that to our economy
- 2:31:25Speaker 4: at the same time.
- 2:31:27Speaker 20: You have to remember, if we catch a cold, the
- 2:31:31Speaker 20: rest of the world has pneumonia. We're as good as
- 2:31:33Speaker 20: it gets. I mean, as bad as it is here.
- 2:31:37Speaker 4: I understand all of that, but I'm just trying to
- 2:31:39Speaker 4: deal with reality. Remember, Iran, they're not stupid. They think
- 2:31:45Speaker 4: they can destroy this economy, too. But they can't.
- 2:31:50Speaker 20: This is not going to destroy our economy in no way, shape,
- 2:31:53Speaker 20: or form. Is this going to destroy our economy? I
- 2:31:56Speaker 20: don't even know that this is necessarily going to put
- 2:31:58Speaker 20: us into a recession. Because Wall Street, if it was,
- 2:32:02Speaker 20: Wall Street is forward-looking. The markets are forward-looking.
- 2:32:06Speaker 4: Well, they're all down today.
- 2:32:09Speaker 20: But you can't look at it day-to-day. My neighbor is
- 2:32:11Speaker 20: the same way as you. He keeps telling me, we're
- 2:32:14Speaker 20: looking at day-to-day. You have to look... If you're an economist,
- 2:32:18Speaker 20: you don't manage the economy on a day-to-day basis. You
- 2:32:22Speaker 20: have to be forward-looking. Similarly for business. You run a business.
- 2:32:25Speaker 20: You're not running your business day-to-day. You're forward-looking. You're looking
- 2:32:28Speaker 20: at where things are going.
- 2:32:29Speaker 4: Well, you better be paying attention day-to-day. I mean, it
- 2:32:32Speaker 4: says right here, Dow slides more than 250 points, posting
- 2:32:35Speaker 4: a fifth day of losses as oil prices rise.
- 2:32:39Speaker 20: And it did, but the NASDAQ was up. And I
- 2:32:42Speaker 20: think the S & P was up.
- 2:32:43Speaker 4: No, just saying.
- 2:32:44Speaker 20: And irregardless, there's still a close to record highs. Based
- 2:32:49Speaker 20: on everything that's happened in the last two months, they
- 2:32:52Speaker 20: should have retracted probably 10% to 20% by now. We
- 2:32:54Speaker 20: should have had some type of a big correction. And
- 2:32:57Speaker 20: while we had a minor one and bounced back from it,
- 2:33:00Speaker 20: we haven't seen that. And I don't anticipate that you'll
- 2:33:03Speaker 20: see a 20% correction or a 30% correction. It's not
- 2:33:06Speaker 20: going to be like 2000.
- 2:33:07Speaker 12: You're not going to see 2000.
- 2:33:08Speaker 20: This is not going to cause 2008. you're not going
- 2:33:11Speaker 20: to see us have a 40%, 60% drop in the
- 2:33:15Speaker 20: value of equities. This, too, shall pass. That isn't actually
- 2:33:21Speaker 20: why I called. I'd like to go even back to
- 2:33:24Speaker 20: local issues and ask you what you thought of Mark
- 2:33:29Speaker 20: Hanna repeating his father's feat of creating a drive-thru at
- 2:33:34Speaker 20: an establishment that.
- 2:33:35Speaker 4: Didn't have one. Listen, I think that, obviously... His dad,
- 2:33:41Speaker 4: as he was driving to the post office years ago,
- 2:33:44Speaker 4: and I think Mark wasn't drunk or anything like that.
- 2:33:48Speaker 4: They want to imply something when he ran into an
- 2:33:54Speaker 4: Arby's somewhere. What do I think about it?
- 2:33:57Speaker 20: I thought it was hysterical.
- 2:33:59Speaker 4: Right, but I mean, it's... I don't know what to say.
- 2:34:07Speaker 4: about any of this stuff other than I think it's
- 2:34:10Speaker 4: ridiculous to make the comparison. It might be funny, but
- 2:34:13Speaker 4: I don't think it has anything to do with the election.
- 2:34:15Speaker 4: I was just looking, you know, the people that put
- 2:34:17Speaker 4: these texts out, these political parties that put it out.
- 2:34:20Speaker 20: I was listening to your podcast the other day, and
- 2:34:23Speaker 20: it's ridiculous that they would even say that. I mean,
- 2:34:26Speaker 20: I'm not voting for Hanna. I'm not a big fan.
- 2:34:31Speaker 20: I think his opponents.
- 2:34:32Speaker 4: Might be more qualified. This is a text they put
- 2:34:34Speaker 4: out today. I'll let you finish in a minute. Judge
- 2:34:36Speaker 4: Hanai really does follow his Democrat father's footsteps. Judge Mark
- 2:34:40Speaker 4: Hanai crashed into the Bridgeport Arby's, leaving shattered windows at
- 2:34:44Speaker 4: the restaurant and caused damage to the building's interior and exterior.
- 2:34:47Speaker 4: Judge Hanai wasn't even charged with a traffic citation. Is
- 2:34:50Speaker 4: this because he was endorsed by the Belmont Sheriff? The
- 2:34:54Speaker 4: bottom line is that Judge Mark Hanai is reckless behind
- 2:34:57Speaker 4: a wheel and behind a bench. That's just ridiculous. That's ridiculous.
- 2:35:02Speaker 4: And I mean... He thought, once again, he's one of
- 2:35:08Speaker 4: these people who thought he had it in park, and
- 2:35:10Speaker 4: he didn't, and he hit the gas instead of the brake,
- 2:35:13Speaker 4: and it's, I don't know what to say about that.
- 2:35:18Speaker 4: Some of the newer cars are different than the ones
- 2:35:21Speaker 4: I drive. You know, I have that thing on the
- 2:35:23Speaker 4: steering column front, or, you know, park, and all that
- 2:35:26Speaker 4: kind of stuff. But on my wife's car, it's different.
- 2:35:30Speaker 4: On the new cars, it's different. In some of the cars,
- 2:35:33Speaker 4: it's all push buttons.
- 2:35:34Speaker 20: If you're driving an older car that's 10 years older,
- 2:35:39Speaker 20: so you don't even know what we're talking about, probably.
- 2:35:41Speaker 18: Right.
- 2:35:41Speaker 4: I mean, I understand it can get confusing. And what
- 2:35:44Speaker 4: was he in a Cadillac Escalade or something like that?
- 2:35:49Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 2:35:49Speaker 4: I mean, I think the people that are putting out
- 2:35:51Speaker 4: that stuff, like the thing I read the other day
- 2:35:53Speaker 4: about standby, standby back with Rich, a pharmacist. We'll talk
- 2:35:56Speaker 4: more what he has to say. I got plenty of
- 2:35:59Speaker 4: discussion with Rich to come and more of your calls ahead.
- 2:36:01Speaker 4: News Radio 570 WKVN. It's 634. It's 49 degrees on
- 2:36:08Speaker 4: this April 29th on another wet day. News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 2:36:12Speaker 4: Back with Rich, a pharmacist. I mean, I want to
- 2:36:16Speaker 4: just go back to the beginning. I mean, you obviously
- 2:36:18Speaker 4: support the situation with Iran. You think it was the
- 2:36:20Speaker 4: right move, correct?
- 2:36:23Speaker 20: I think historically it will prove to be the right move.
- 2:36:26Speaker 20: And I could be wrong. I'm not a soothsayer by
- 2:36:29Speaker 20: any stretch. I can't predict the future. But just looking
- 2:36:33Speaker 20: at things from a historical perspective, which I like to do,
- 2:36:36Speaker 20: I think it was the right move. I think Clinton
- 2:36:40Speaker 20: could have done it against North Korea in the 90s.
- 2:36:43Speaker 20: He was told you probably should do it, and he
- 2:36:45Speaker 20: wouldn't pull the trigger. And now you're dealing with those
- 2:36:47Speaker 20: nutjobs that have nukes. And Iran was headed there. Was
- 2:36:51Speaker 20: it an imminent threat?
- 2:36:52Speaker 14: No.
- 2:36:52Speaker 20: Were they going to have a nuclear bomb targeted the
- 2:36:54Speaker 20: United States five months from now? No. Were they probably
- 2:36:58Speaker 20: five or six years from now?
- 2:36:59Speaker 12: Yes.
- 2:37:00Speaker 20: They would have had the missile technology and the nuclear
- 2:37:03Speaker 20: capability to hit us.
- 2:37:04Speaker 4: Do you think Israel influenced the decision at all?
- 2:37:08Speaker 20: Of course they did. Because what country wouldn't? If you
- 2:37:11Speaker 20: were Israel, wouldn't you try to influence us into doing it?
- 2:37:15Speaker 24: Mm-hmm.
- 2:37:15Speaker 20: Because you've had a country that you've lived with next
- 2:37:19Speaker 20: to basically since the Shawville 50-some years ago that has
- 2:37:24Speaker 20: basically said they want to wipe Israel off the map,
- 2:37:26Speaker 20: they want to nuke Israel, they want to kill all
- 2:37:28Speaker 20: the Jews. So if you're Israel, of course you tried
- 2:37:32Speaker 20: to influence and incest into the war. It would almost
- 2:37:34Speaker 20: be political malpractice if you didn't.
- 2:37:37Speaker 4: And do you think they perhaps went to Trump and said, hey,
- 2:37:42Speaker 4: all these leaders are in one place at this particular time,
- 2:37:44Speaker 4: we can wipe them all out, and that's why he acted?
- 2:37:47Speaker 12: Oh, absolutely.
- 2:37:48Speaker 20: It was 100% the Mossad that did that. And Yahoo
- 2:37:52Speaker 20: knew they were going to be there, and they did.
- 2:37:54Speaker 20: In my opinion, it was brilliant. You'd knocked out, what
- 2:37:57Speaker 20: was it, 40 or almost 50 of the main people
- 2:38:01Speaker 20: in Iran's leadership. You killed all of them. It's too
- 2:38:04Speaker 20: bad you couldn't have killed every single one of them.
- 2:38:07Speaker 20: But you can't. I mean, I think, unfortunately, we're not
- 2:38:12Speaker 20: a patient people. If you want to look at it,
- 2:38:14Speaker 20: if you want to look at history, do you know
- 2:38:17Speaker 20: who caused Japan or what caused Japan to bomb us?
- 2:38:21Speaker 20: Whose fault it was. Why did Japan attack us at
- 2:38:23Speaker 20: Pearl Harbor? Who was responsible for that? We were. We
- 2:38:28Speaker 20: stopped selling them oil because of what they were doing
- 2:38:31Speaker 20: to China. The rape of Nanking, the war they were
- 2:38:34Speaker 20: fighting in China, they were committing god-awful human atrocities, so
- 2:38:37Speaker 20: we stopped selling them oil. At the time, we were
- 2:38:41Speaker 20: the world's biggest supplier of oil, and they didn't really
- 2:38:43Speaker 20: have another source. So they were going to run out
- 2:38:46Speaker 20: of oil within a matter of, I think it was
- 2:38:49Speaker 20: a year or two. So they basically, we backed them
- 2:38:52Speaker 20: into a corner where they pretty much didn't have a choice.
- 2:38:54Speaker 20: It was either attack us or get out of China,
- 2:38:56Speaker 20: which they weren't willing to do. So they attacked us,
- 2:38:59Speaker 20: and that's what started World War II. You do things,
- 2:39:02Speaker 20: you make decisions as a country. Geopolitics is... You're playing
- 2:39:07Speaker 20: chess on many levels when you're doing geopolitics. It's not
- 2:39:11Speaker 20: a simple yes or no on many of these issues.
- 2:39:13Speaker 20: There are a variety of things you can do that
- 2:39:16Speaker 20: result in a variety of outcomes. Maybe this was the
- 2:39:19Speaker 20: wrong outcome. I could be totally wrong, and this could
- 2:39:23Speaker 20: end up costing us a fortune. But so far, it's
- 2:39:26Speaker 20: cost us $ 25 billion, I think. We left $ 85 billion
- 2:39:32Speaker 20: worth of equipment in Afghanistan in that debacle.
- 2:39:36Speaker 4: I don't know how you really come up with a
- 2:39:41Speaker 4: figure yet, or if anybody can accurately do that based
- 2:39:44Speaker 4: on the amount of... When you're launching those missiles off
- 2:39:48Speaker 4: and everything, they're a million-plus dollars, and then you have
- 2:39:51Speaker 4: to replace them. I mean, there's a lot of money
- 2:39:53Speaker 4: being spent there. I'm not talking about the salaries that
- 2:39:55Speaker 4: are paid on a regular basis or any of that
- 2:39:58Speaker 4: kind of stuff, but I'm sure there's a lot of expense.
- 2:39:59Speaker 13: No.
- 2:40:00Speaker 4: I don't know that we know what that number is,
- 2:40:03Speaker 4: but it isn't about the number.
- 2:40:04Speaker 20: It's about Congress.
- 2:40:05Speaker 4: It is about it.
- 2:40:06Speaker 20: It was testifying today. That's what the Pentagon bean counter said.
- 2:40:11Speaker 20: As of right now, the estimate is 25 billion that
- 2:40:13Speaker 20: this war has cost us so far.
- 2:40:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:40:15Speaker 4: You know how reliable those numbers are.
- 2:40:18Speaker 20: It's like, you know, they throw billions around like it's pocket.
- 2:40:22Speaker 13: Right.
- 2:40:22Speaker 12: But it is what it is.
- 2:40:23Speaker 4: But I mean, the question is, is it, was it
- 2:40:25Speaker 4: the right thing to do or wasn't it the right
- 2:40:27Speaker 4: thing to do? I mean, that's really the question. You
- 2:40:29Speaker 4: seem to think it's the right thing to do. We
- 2:40:31Speaker 4: don't know. Well, you're speculation. I'm saying you seem to
- 2:40:35Speaker 4: think it's the right thing to do. But it can't
- 2:40:37Speaker 4: drag on. You say we're an impatient people. But the
- 2:40:41Speaker 4: country as a whole doesn't seem like it supports it.
- 2:40:45Speaker 4: It isn't behind the move. And that's very troubling because
- 2:40:49Speaker 4: if it does escalate and the country's not behind you,
- 2:40:52Speaker 4: you've got a big problem as far as the people
- 2:40:55Speaker 4: in power because.
- 2:40:56Speaker 20: Well, ask LBJ how that worked out for him.
- 2:40:59Speaker 12: Right.
- 2:41:00Speaker 4: And the negative side of it is how it's the
- 2:41:04Speaker 4: distance it is from the supplies, if you will, the
- 2:41:09Speaker 4: distance away that Iran is. Once again, we're trying to
- 2:41:14Speaker 4: deal with a country that's like a Vietnam scenario all over,
- 2:41:20Speaker 4: like an Afghan or take a look at the Middle
- 2:41:22Speaker 4: East in general scenario all over again. We haven't been
- 2:41:25Speaker 4: very successful. with fighting people in their own, when they're
- 2:41:31Speaker 4: defending their own land, if you will, and we are not.
- 2:41:34Speaker 4: Do I think Trump's got him in a good place? Yeah,
- 2:41:37Speaker 4: with the bombing and with the blockade, I do think
- 2:41:39Speaker 4: he's got him in a good place. How long will
- 2:41:42Speaker 4: that take? I don't know enough about them and their culture.
- 2:41:46Speaker 4: If he's got him in a good place, will they
- 2:41:49Speaker 4: throw in the white flag this week, next week? A
- 2:41:52Speaker 4: month from now or never. I don't know what the
- 2:41:54Speaker 4: answer to that is. I hope he's right. All of
- 2:41:58Speaker 4: these people are a lot smarter than I am on this,
- 2:42:00Speaker 4: and they have a lot more information. I would like
- 2:42:02Speaker 4: to see it get resolved quickly.
- 2:42:06Speaker 20: Well, like I've said, what I don't understand is why
- 2:42:10Speaker 20: they aren't at least looking at temporarily restricting U.S. exports
- 2:42:15Speaker 20: of oil products. Because up until, I think it was 2016...
- 2:42:19Speaker 20: When Paul Ryan made the deal with Obama, it was
- 2:42:22Speaker 20: illegal to export oil-based products from the United States. So
- 2:42:28Speaker 20: if we went back to that, our gas prices would
- 2:42:30Speaker 20: be back where they were within weeks, because we have
- 2:42:33Speaker 20: plenty of oil in this country. There's no reason, except
- 2:42:36Speaker 20: that we compete in the world market, there's no reason
- 2:42:38Speaker 20: at all we should be paying this. So I would just,
- 2:42:42Speaker 20: you know, see if you put a bill in Congress
- 2:42:44Speaker 20: and just say, hey, until this is over... We're going
- 2:42:48Speaker 20: to restrict exports of hydrocarbons from the United States of America.
- 2:42:52Speaker 20: Let the rest of the world suffer, because they won't
- 2:42:54Speaker 20: come to our aid. I mean, if nothing else comes
- 2:42:57Speaker 20: from this, and I've said this, I mean, I think
- 2:43:00Speaker 20: after this is over, it's time to really reassess our
- 2:43:04Speaker 20: priorities as a country and think about what we're going
- 2:43:07Speaker 20: to do with the world, because I'm done playing World Cop,
- 2:43:11Speaker 20: especially after this. I don't understand, 80 years after World
- 2:43:15Speaker 20: War II, why we still have 100,000 troops in Europe,
- 2:43:18Speaker 20: 50,000 troops, 80,000 in Japan, 50,000 in the Koreas. It's crazy.
- 2:43:24Speaker 20: And for us to flip that bill and not be
- 2:43:27Speaker 20: appreciated and not get helped out when we need the help.
- 2:43:30Speaker 20: Europe needs that oil. We don't need Middle East oil.
- 2:43:33Speaker 20: Europe does. And yet they won't send anybody to help
- 2:43:35Speaker 20: unblock the strait. So when this is over, as far
- 2:43:41Speaker 20: as I'm concerned, bring all the troops home, build Fortress America,
- 2:43:44Speaker 20: put them on the southern border, the northern border, wherever
- 2:43:46Speaker 20: you want to do with them, and let the rest
- 2:43:48Speaker 20: of the world figure it out for themselves. I think
- 2:43:53Speaker 20: I heard a thing.
- 2:43:54Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 2:43:55Speaker 20: The Ukraine war, I think I was listening to... The
- 2:43:59Speaker 20: two on in the morning, Armstrong and Getty.
- 2:44:01Speaker 12: Yes.
- 2:44:01Speaker 20: And they quoted a guy, I think it was a
- 2:44:03Speaker 20: Polish prime minister or something, that basically said, why is Europe,
- 2:44:07Speaker 20: a country of, I think they said 500 or 600
- 2:44:10Speaker 20: million people, bullying a country of 300, 350 million people,
- 2:44:15Speaker 20: the United States, to win a war against a country
- 2:44:20Speaker 20: of 160 million people, which is Russia?
- 2:44:22Speaker 26: Yeah.
- 2:44:24Speaker 20: And it's a great way to look at it. Why
- 2:44:26Speaker 20: does everybody expect us to go help out Ukraine? And,
- 2:44:29Speaker 20: I mean, I've supported that. I don't mind selling them
- 2:44:33Speaker 20: weapons and stuff like that, but I don't want to
- 2:44:34Speaker 20: see a single boot on the ground. But why does
- 2:44:37Speaker 20: Europe expect us to come ride to the rescue all
- 2:44:39Speaker 20: the time and spend our money, put our boys' lives
- 2:44:43Speaker 20: at risk, to bail them out all the time? I'm
- 2:44:45Speaker 20: just done with it. We did it twice in the
- 2:44:47Speaker 20: last century. cost hundreds of thousands of American lives, and
- 2:44:52Speaker 20: they still don't like us. So the heck with them.
- 2:44:53Speaker 20: Just bring everybody home.
- 2:44:57Speaker 4: Well, I certainly, listen, it's a debate worth having. I mean,
- 2:45:01Speaker 4: I understand the people that are opposed to this happening
- 2:45:03Speaker 4: in the first place in Iran, and I understand the
- 2:45:05Speaker 4: people that are for it. And I get both sides
- 2:45:08Speaker 4: of it. And I don't know where this will head.
- 2:45:13Speaker 4: And I do think I get the impression, at least,
- 2:45:16Speaker 4: that Trump and he's the power structure thinks that this
- 2:45:20Speaker 4: would be over sooner than later. And perhaps even thought
- 2:45:24Speaker 4: it would be over sooner that it's dragged down longer
- 2:45:26Speaker 4: than he originally thought. Sometimes I get the impression that they,
- 2:45:30Speaker 4: that they thought this would have been over long before
- 2:45:32Speaker 4: we're even at the point we're at now. So, I mean,
- 2:45:35Speaker 4: when I look at what they did from a bombing campaign,
- 2:45:37Speaker 4: it all is very successful. When I look at the blockade,
- 2:45:40Speaker 4: it's very successful. Will it bring Iran to its knees
- 2:45:43Speaker 4: to where that this will be resolved? Uh, Or will
- 2:45:47Speaker 4: Iran say, screw you, we're not giving in to you,
- 2:45:51Speaker 4: and we'll destroy your economy as you destroy ours? It
- 2:45:55Speaker 4: could go either way. Would you not agree? They can't
- 2:45:57Speaker 4: destroy our economy.
- 2:45:58Speaker 20: They do not have the ability in any way, shape,
- 2:46:01Speaker 20: or form, aside from somehow attacking us with a nuclear weapon.
- 2:46:04Speaker 4: I'm not talking about any nuclear weapon. I'm talking about
- 2:46:09Speaker 4: the oil markets and ultimately what can happen and the
- 2:46:13Speaker 4: relationships you can have with the countries that will... suffer tremendously.
- 2:46:18Speaker 4: I mean, as far as food, there's other aspects of this.
- 2:46:21Speaker 4: There's fertilizer, there's oil, there's food issues that are in
- 2:46:25Speaker 4: some of these other countries.
- 2:46:27Speaker 20: Once again, the geopolitics, this isn't just us versus Iran.
- 2:46:33Speaker 20: This is us. You know who's really going to hurt
- 2:46:34Speaker 20: from this? They've built up a heck of a reserve,
- 2:46:37Speaker 20: but it gives China food for thought because if they
- 2:46:41Speaker 20: want to take Taiwan, we can shut off all of
- 2:46:44Speaker 20: their oil imports. We can shut off. We can block
- 2:46:47Speaker 20: the Strait of Hormuz. You know who can't? The Chinese.
- 2:46:50Speaker 4: Well, I disagree with you. I don't buy this that
- 2:46:55Speaker 4: we're isolated from all of this stuff. The only good
- 2:46:58Speaker 4: news I heard was Saudi Arabia says they want out
- 2:47:00Speaker 4: of OPEC. That's the only good news I've heard lately
- 2:47:02Speaker 4: because OPEC is... The UAE is out. Okay. Not Saudi Arabia.
- 2:47:08Speaker 4: It's the UAE.
- 2:47:09Speaker 20: Okay.
- 2:47:10Speaker 4: They went out because they got a pipeline for 2
- 2:47:12Speaker 4: million barrels. And they say they want to pump more
- 2:47:14Speaker 4: than be restricted by OPEC and what they want to do. Well,
- 2:47:19Speaker 4: I'm all for that. That's the only good sign that
- 2:47:24Speaker 4: I've seen.
- 2:47:24Speaker 20: And you're going to see other countries that I was
- 2:47:27Speaker 20: reading today. I read a lot of the Wall Street
- 2:47:29Speaker 20: Journal in the morning when I wake up. And you're
- 2:47:31Speaker 20: going to see a lot of countries... Saudi Arabia and
- 2:47:33Speaker 20: the UAE have a pipeline over to the Red Sea,
- 2:47:35Speaker 20: so they're still exporting. Saudi's doing, I think, 8 million
- 2:47:38Speaker 20: a day. I forget what the UAE is. It's 2
- 2:47:40Speaker 20: or 4 million barrels a day. They're able to still
- 2:47:43Speaker 20: pump out through the Red Sea. But you're going to
- 2:47:46Speaker 20: see a lot of these countries. I think Iraq is
- 2:47:48Speaker 20: looking at it. Some of the other countries are doing
- 2:47:51Speaker 20: a pipeline through, like, Syria, Turkey, and up into Europe
- 2:47:56Speaker 20: that way. because they don't want to be held hostage
- 2:47:59Speaker 20: in the future. You know, it only takes a, you know,
- 2:48:02Speaker 20: if something happens to you once and you don't learn
- 2:48:04Speaker 20: from it, shame on you. And I think you're going
- 2:48:06Speaker 20: to see a lot of these countries look at de-risking
- 2:48:10Speaker 20: from the Strait of Hormuz. They don't want to be
- 2:48:11Speaker 20: held hostage there. The other one is the strait that
- 2:48:15Speaker 20: opens the Red Sea, because if you remember, the Houthis
- 2:48:17Speaker 20: blocked all that transit through the Red Sea through the
- 2:48:21Speaker 20: Suez Canal for the last two years. And people are
- 2:48:24Speaker 20: going around there, you know, causing a lot of havoc.
- 2:48:28Speaker 20: So it's going to change things, but it's unpredictable what's
- 2:48:32Speaker 20: going to happen.
- 2:48:33Speaker 12: Obviously, I just.
- 2:48:34Speaker 20: Think in the end, I think this will prove to
- 2:48:37Speaker 20: be in our best interest that we've done this. But
- 2:48:40Speaker 20: I could be wrong. And if I'm wrong, I'll be
- 2:48:42Speaker 20: the first person to admit I'm wrong. The only other
- 2:48:45Speaker 20: thing I would say is you had three callers. I
- 2:48:47Speaker 20: think you had Frank, you had Denise, and then the
- 2:48:49Speaker 20: last guy that called. I forget who that is. But
- 2:48:52Speaker 20: a couple weeks ago I told you the rise of
- 2:48:54Speaker 20: anti-Semitism in the Republican Party, and you said, no, you
- 2:48:57Speaker 20: didn't mean the Democrat Party. No, I mean the Republican Party.
- 2:49:01Speaker 20: That's one of the most disturbing things for me, is
- 2:49:04Speaker 20: all these people blame Israel, Israel this, Israel that. Number one,
- 2:49:08Speaker 20: I don't think they have that kind of control over
- 2:49:11Speaker 20: our economy.
- 2:49:12Speaker 4: And the world. Well, many people do.
- 2:49:14Speaker 20: They're going to privatize the state of Ohio.
- 2:49:15Speaker 3: It's ridiculous.
- 2:49:16Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, that is absolutely ridiculous. But their lobby group
- 2:49:20Speaker 4: is extremely powerful in Washington, D.C. It is. I don't
- 2:49:26Speaker 4: think the people are expressing concern over that. I don't
- 2:49:29Speaker 4: think they're a bunch of dummies. I think that they're
- 2:49:30Speaker 4: just expressing concern over the power, how much power that
- 2:49:34Speaker 4: lobbyist group has on our policies. And that's of concern.
- 2:49:38Speaker 4: I just got another email from somebody. New in Raccoon Road,
- 2:49:43Speaker 4: Shell Station now at $ 5 a gallon.
- 2:49:46Speaker 20: Yeah, if it does, I mean, over the next month,
- 2:49:48Speaker 20: if this isn't another month from now, you're going to
- 2:49:50Speaker 20: be at $ 6, $ 7 a gallon. And, I mean, at
- 2:49:53Speaker 20: that point, you will probably start to tip into recession
- 2:49:56Speaker 20: because there's so much energy related to the economy.
- 2:50:00Speaker 13: Right.
- 2:50:02Speaker 3: Uh..
- 2:50:02Speaker 20: I don't know that they're going to be able to
- 2:50:04Speaker 20: hope that if you're dealing with the rational government a
- 2:50:07Speaker 20: rational people i ran this be over but you're not
- 2:50:09Speaker 20: you're dealing with a bunch of religious nut jobs and
- 2:50:13Speaker 20: it's just going to be how long it takes them
- 2:50:16Speaker 20: to figure out they have to cry uncle and and
- 2:50:18Speaker 20: given to the demands of you know some of the
- 2:50:19Speaker 20: things they don't want to do or they might never
- 2:50:22Speaker 20: i think if they just gave up the nuclear program
- 2:50:24Speaker 20: trumpets on tomorrow so to stop and think how important
- 2:50:28Speaker 20: is it to you that you're going to destroy your
- 2:50:30Speaker 20: country just so you can keep enriching uranium. But it
- 2:50:36Speaker 20: was for peaceful purposes, of course.
- 2:50:39Speaker 4: We shall see. Iran keeps saying the same thing. We
- 2:50:44Speaker 4: could destroy America's economy, and if you get to five,
- 2:50:47Speaker 4: six dollar gallon gas, you'll destroy it. You will severely
- 2:50:53Speaker 4: set it back, and inflation will rear its ugly head
- 2:50:56Speaker 4: like you've never seen before. And the golden age is
- 2:51:00Speaker 4: a bunch of golden crap at that point. And don't
- 2:51:07Speaker 4: discount an enemy and what they can do to you.
- 2:51:12Speaker 20: The bigger problem than inflation, in all honesty, is the
- 2:51:15Speaker 20: fact that wages have not kept up with it.
- 2:51:21Speaker 4: Inflation is a huge problem. Wages aren't going to keep you.
- 2:51:25Speaker 4: If you want to raise wages, then it only adds
- 2:51:27Speaker 4: more to inflation.
- 2:51:29Speaker 20: It has been, but if you look at the buying
- 2:51:31Speaker 20: power of the middle-class consumer the last 30 years, inflation
- 2:51:36Speaker 20: has eaten away at that buying power.
- 2:51:38Speaker 4: Well, I totally agree, but these type of moves... can
- 2:51:42Speaker 4: change it dramatically. I mean, I get all the Trump
- 2:51:45Speaker 4: apologists with all due respect. Ron, you know, just because
- 2:51:48Speaker 4: they hear it in the newscast on the hour, you
- 2:51:50Speaker 4: understand it's these increases where they're shifting the summer blend.
- 2:51:54Speaker 4: When I read this kind of stuff, gas price up
- 2:51:57Speaker 4: because gas companies are making this summer blend of gas.
- 2:52:00Speaker 4: This is ridiculous. Because it didn't go up 70 cents
- 2:52:05Speaker 4: when they go to the summer blend in the past.
- 2:52:07Speaker 4: In other words, listen, there are Trump apologists that want
- 2:52:10Speaker 4: to say, no, none of this is his fault. It's
- 2:52:11Speaker 4: because of the summer blend. That's why it went up
- 2:52:13Speaker 4: to $ 5 a gallon. No, the price of a barrel
- 2:52:16Speaker 4: of oil went up today. If you read CNBC, you'll
- 2:52:18Speaker 4: see why gas prices are going up. They didn't go
- 2:52:23Speaker 4: up almost a buck a gallon because of the summer blend. Otherwise,
- 2:52:27Speaker 4: you could go in the past and say, look, they
- 2:52:28Speaker 4: did it when they did the summer blend. Every summer
- 2:52:31Speaker 4: it's gone up like that.
- 2:52:32Speaker 20: I'll give you two suggestions. I'm going to give you
- 2:52:35Speaker 20: two suggestions since it's almost 7 o'clock. One, if you
- 2:52:39Speaker 20: could get Dane Davis on to discuss it, I think
- 2:52:41Speaker 20: his take on it would be very interesting. And two,
- 2:52:44Speaker 20: about oil, see what Paul Wyden or his son think
- 2:52:47Speaker 20: about it. I think it would be very interesting to
- 2:52:48Speaker 20: get their take on where all this is.
- 2:52:50Speaker 4: I thought this was a good email a guy sent.
- 2:52:51Speaker 4: He wants me to read it to you. Well, we're
- 2:52:53Speaker 4: all standing in a breadline. We won't have to worry
- 2:52:56Speaker 4: about a nuclear attack by Iran. There you go.
- 2:52:58Speaker 20: We're not going to be standing in a breadline. We're
- 2:53:01Speaker 20: not going into a depression.
- 2:53:03Speaker 4: It's not going to happen.
- 2:53:04Speaker 12: I mean, not over this.
- 2:53:06Speaker 4: Diesel used in ships, locomotives, tractor trailers. Diesel is used
- 2:53:11Speaker 4: in farming. All this should show up as higher shipping
- 2:53:15Speaker 4: and higher food prices. Just think about those things. The
- 2:53:19Speaker 4: Democrats were right.
- 2:53:19Speaker 20: We should have all bought an EV, right?
- 2:53:21Speaker 4: Maybe so.
- 2:53:22Speaker 5: All right.
- 2:53:23Speaker 4: There you go. Rich, keep in the faith. NewsRadio 570, WKBN.
- 2:53:26Speaker 4: And Ron Verb, I mean, so... When my buddy sent
- 2:53:32Speaker 4: me that picture, he said all the speedways in Sandusky
- 2:53:35Speaker 4: are at $ 5 a gallon. Now a woman sends me
- 2:53:37Speaker 4: a picture that's a Shell station on New and Raccoon
- 2:53:42Speaker 4: Roads at $ 5 a gallon. So from $ 4. 30 to $ 5
- 2:53:47Speaker 4: a gallon in a blink of an eye. Well, is
- 2:53:49Speaker 4: that because they went the summer blend run? I mean,
- 2:53:51Speaker 4: that's just Trump apologist. And listen, you got to... You
- 2:53:56Speaker 4: got to call it balls and strikes. You got to
- 2:53:58Speaker 4: call it fairly. Otherwise, you're no different than Biden supporters
- 2:54:02Speaker 4: who made excuses for everything that went bad with Biden.
- 2:54:05Speaker 4: I'm not here to make excuses for Trump. I dislike
- 2:54:08Speaker 4: the fact that he attacks Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens
- 2:54:11Speaker 4: and Marjorie Taylor Greene. They got a right to disagree
- 2:54:15Speaker 4: with him on some issues and still be a supporter.
- 2:54:18Speaker 4: I don't really care for that. I'll be back.
- 2:54:21Speaker 1: Youngstown's News, Weather, and Talk Station, 570 WKBN.
- 2:54:27Speaker 4: And Ron Ferb, you're on the air.
- 2:54:30Speaker 10: Ron.
- 2:54:30Speaker 4: Yes, Mike.
- 2:54:32Speaker 35: Hey, how are you?
- 2:54:33Speaker 7: Good.
- 2:54:33Speaker 4: Comment, please. I'm all ears.
- 2:54:35Speaker 33: Well, I've got a question for you after listening to
- 2:54:39Speaker 33: Rich for this, I don't know, forever. Is the America
- 2:54:44Speaker 33: First agenda winning?
- 2:54:47Speaker 4: Not right now.
- 2:54:49Speaker 33: Exactly. And that's going to be the downfall. And I,
- 2:54:53Speaker 33: you know, I don't care if it's better here than
- 2:54:56Speaker 33: anywhere else. You know, I don't want to be a
- 2:55:00Speaker 33: king poop of crap mountain.
- 2:55:03Speaker 12: You know what I mean?
- 2:55:04Speaker 33: To keep that on the, to not to beat me out.
- 2:55:07Speaker 33: But it seems like these other people will satisfy, they're
- 2:55:11Speaker 33: satisfied with that. It's just a huge problem. Now, the
- 2:55:15Speaker 33: other thing that, and you've, You know, Rich was talking about,
- 2:55:22Speaker 33: you know, I guess the price of landscaping. Well, obviously
- 2:55:27Speaker 33: he doesn't understand the supply-demand curve and what competition does
- 2:55:32Speaker 33: for that. You know, if they've got to raise prices now,
- 2:55:35Speaker 33: I know prices are sticky, but, you know, when the
- 2:55:39Speaker 33: prices drop, if they ever do, you know, that will,
- 2:55:45Speaker 33: you know, for the inputs... the landscapers won't be able
- 2:55:50Speaker 33: to charge what they would if they've got competition versus
- 2:55:56Speaker 33: a monopoly. I mean, I'm sure that you're really qualified
- 2:56:01Speaker 33: in that.
- 2:56:02Speaker 12: Area, right?
- 2:56:03Speaker 4: Listen, I don't care anything that's fuel-oriented. Think of your
- 2:56:07Speaker 4: garbage truck. Think of the Amazon vans. Think of the
- 2:56:10Speaker 4: UPS truck. Think of your groceries being delivered. I mean,
- 2:56:15Speaker 4: when you're paying that for gas, the prices are going
- 2:56:17Speaker 4: to go up. I mean, they're just going to go
- 2:56:19Speaker 4: up because they have to go up. Now, it's not
- 2:56:24Speaker 4: just gasoline. It's the inflation on everything. It's insurance, parts, repairs,
- 2:56:29Speaker 4: all of that kind of stuff factor into that. And
- 2:56:34Speaker 4: they don't come down. unless all of that stuff comes
- 2:56:38Speaker 4: down and competition brings it down. This idea that they
- 2:56:42Speaker 4: go up and never come down is inaccurate because housing
- 2:56:44Speaker 4: prices have come down in large sections of this country.
- 2:56:47Speaker 4: We saw lumber prices that were high come down, so
- 2:56:50Speaker 4: there's market fluctuations that do take place.
- 2:56:54Speaker 33: Yeah, and as long as we have competition, we'll be okay.
- 2:56:59Speaker 25: Right.
- 2:57:00Speaker 33: It's just a matter of the government, and this kind of–
- 2:57:04Speaker 33: I think Frank was– I don't know exactly what he
- 2:57:07Speaker 33: was talking about with you know, the public sector being
- 2:57:10Speaker 33: taken over by individuals. But I the elites have too
- 2:57:14Speaker 33: much influence on the public sector that, you know, impacts
- 2:57:19Speaker 33: the private sector. And that's where we run into trouble.
- 2:57:22Speaker 33: And that's, you know, just a definite assault on liberty
- 2:57:27Speaker 33: and freedom. And if we don't get back to the
- 2:57:33Speaker 33: America First agenda, we're done. I don't care if it's
- 2:57:37Speaker 33: okay with Rich to be paying, oh, by the way,
- 2:57:41Speaker 33: diesel $ 609 in Erie and $ 339 or $ 349 for regular. $ 339.
- 2:57:53Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:57:54Speaker 4: Well, five bucks up here. I agree with your comments.
- 2:57:57Speaker 4: Thank you, Mike. Stay tuned. Hannity's coming up next.
- 2:58:05Speaker 34: From ABC News, I'm Dave Packer. Gas prices now at
- 2:58:09Speaker 34: their highest level in four years fall out from the
- 2:58:11Speaker 34: warning run. AAA's Aixa Diaz has a gallon of gas
- 2:58:15Speaker 34: now sells at $ 4.
- 2:58:16Speaker 4: 23 on average.
- 2:58:17Speaker 19: We've seen a 20 cent jump in gas prices in
- 2:58:20Speaker 19: the national average in just one week. And we're paying
- 2:58:22Speaker 19: more than a dollar than we were this time last year.
- 2:58:25Speaker 10: And it has to do with crude oil prices.
- 2:58:27Speaker 34: Skyrocketing oil prices sending tremors through the bond market today.
- 2:58:31Speaker 34: And his last rate announcement as chairman, the Fed's Jerome
- 2:58:33Speaker 34: Powell says interest rates will stay where they are.
- 2:58:36Speaker 31: At today's meeting, the committee decided to maintain the target
- 2:58:38Speaker 31: range for the federal funds rate at three and a
- 2:58:40Speaker 31: half to three and three quarters percent. The economic outlook
- 2:58:44Speaker 31: remains highly uncertain, and the conflict in the Middle East
- 2:58:47Speaker 31: has added to this uncertainty.
- 2:58:49Speaker 34: Pete Hegseth on the Hill, the Defense Secretary making the
- 2:58:52Speaker 34: case for a massive $ 1. 5 trillion Pentagon budget, a 50% increase.
- 2:58:57Speaker 4: The $ 1.
- 2:58:57Speaker 38: 5 trillion FY27 budget put forward by the President will
- 2:59:02Speaker 38: build upon the historic $ 1 trillion FY26 top line and
- 2:59:07Speaker 38: continue to reverse the four years of underinvestment and mismanagement
- 2:59:12Speaker 38: of the Biden administration.
- 2:59:13Speaker 34: And for the first time, Hexeth revealed the cost of
- 2:59:15Speaker 34: the war in Iran, so far $ 25 billion. Right now,
- 2:59:19Speaker 34: the Apex North Carolina police evacuating a car wash due
- 2:59:23Speaker 34: to what they call public threats toward President Trump. They
- 2:59:26Speaker 34: say messages were found written on the back of a
- 2:59:28Speaker 34: windshield of a car. President Trump said he had a
- 2:59:31Speaker 34: phone call today with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
- 2:59:34Speaker 4: He called it a very good conversation.
- 2:59:35Speaker 32: I suggested a little bit of a ceasefire, and I
- 2:59:38Speaker 32: think he might do that.
- 2:59:39Speaker 4: He might announce something having to do with it.
- 2:59:41Speaker 34: Police calling a stabbing on a London street an act
- 2:59:44Speaker 34: of terrorism. Metropolitan Police Chief Mark Rowley says two Jewish
- 2:59:48Speaker 34: men were injured.
- 2:59:49Speaker 4: This is an attack on one community.
- 2:59:50Speaker 8: An attack on one community is an attack on all
- 2:59:53Speaker 8: London's communities.
- 2:59:55Speaker 34: Rowley says the suspect was arrested after trying to attack
- 2:59:58Speaker 34: the responding officers.

- 3:01:23Speaker 32: just outside the poll's margin of error. In a hypothetical
- 3:01:26Speaker 32: matchup with Ken Paxton, Tallarico holds an even wider lead.
- 3:01:30Speaker 32: But November is still a long way off, and no
