- 0:02Guess what?
- 0:03I bought a book.
- 0:27From the gym to the screen, yeah,
- 0:28we cover it all.
- 0:29Midday motivation every time you press
- 0:32call.
- 0:32Lunch with the Clydesdales.
- 0:35Cowboy, bring the heat.
- 0:37Crossfit, boobies, music on repeat.
- 0:41Half hour hustle, yeah,
- 0:43we're building that brand.
- 0:45Grab a plate, tune in now,
- 0:46you're part of the fam.
- 0:50It's lunchtime.
- 0:55What's going on, everyone?
- 0:57It's beautiful.
- 0:58Absolutely beautiful.
- 1:02I stopped listening to Jay Biebs for this.
- 1:05Probably a bad idea, Meg.
- 1:07Justin Bieber?
- 1:08Was she listening to Justin?
- 1:09Is that what that means?
- 1:11Justin Bieber is a Canadian treasure, man.
- 1:15You just said Canadian treasure at the
- 1:16same time.
- 1:19And we're not talking about Doug Reed,
- 1:21so I'm a little confused.
- 1:23Whatever.
- 1:25I will give him this.
- 1:26The dude actually has some good songs.
- 1:27He does.
- 1:30My absolute favorite that comes to mind
- 1:32is, oh, man.
- 1:37Of course,
- 1:37because I'm trying to think of it in
- 1:38the standby.
- 1:39Despacito?
- 1:40No.
- 1:41No.
- 1:43I don't even know anymore.
- 1:46When my daughter was young,
- 1:47she loved Justin Bieber,
- 1:48and he came out with that tour movie.
- 1:51And there I am at the movie theater
- 1:54with my daughter.
- 1:56My wife bags out again,
- 1:58sticks me with the, hey,
- 2:00you like concerts, go, go.
- 2:04And there I was singing, baby, baby, baby,
- 2:10oh.
- 2:12It's called Love Yourself.
- 2:14Because there's a line in it that says,
- 2:16my mama don't like you and she loves
- 2:17everyone.
- 2:19Which is so fantastic.
- 2:21That is an absolutely fantastic line.
- 2:27Only good Canadian bands are Rush and the
- 2:30Tragically Hip.
- 2:32I have to add, David Reed, Triumph.
- 2:36Triumph was one of my favorite bands
- 2:38growing up.
- 2:38Still listening to this day.
- 2:40I have vinyl.
- 2:42I have vinyl of Triumph.
- 2:44They're awesome.
- 2:45The fact that you're just skipping over
- 2:47Nickelback,
- 2:47I'm going to try not to act like
- 2:49I noticed.
- 2:50There is a reason I skipped over
- 2:51Nickelback.
- 2:54Y'all are wrong.
- 2:55It's all right.
- 2:55You can be wrong.
- 2:56It's fine.
- 2:56This is the first argument we ever had,
- 2:58by the way,
- 2:58when we were discussing Nickelback
- 2:59freaking three years ago.
- 3:02Neil Peart.
- 3:05Yeah.
- 3:05God rest his soul.
- 3:08Neil Peart.
- 3:11That dude, like, you know,
- 3:12he wrote the lyrics to all the Rush
- 3:14songs.
- 3:15Mm-hmm.
- 3:16That dude was into like some Lord of
- 3:18the Rings.
- 3:20Really?
- 3:21What gave it away?
- 3:28What gave it away?
- 3:29Every song is about the castle on the
- 3:31hill with the dragon and the slaying the
- 3:35beast.
- 3:37Between them and Led Zeppelin,
- 3:39I'm not sure which one was more obvious.
- 3:41I mean,
- 3:42and there's a wine on down the road.
- 3:48Yeah, on Shadow Stolen and Our Soul.
- 3:51You should probably learn that one if
- 3:53you're going to learn one on your Drumeo
- 3:56Crip.
- 3:57Can I tell you the problem with...
- 4:01I didn't want to talk about drumming today
- 4:03because now I'm in the more advanced...
- 4:05I've completed, like, learn how to drum.
- 4:08Oh, Scott's an advanced drummer now.
- 4:10No, no, no.
- 4:10Stand by.
- 4:12No, no.
- 4:13Just next level, not elite level.
- 4:15Okay.
- 4:17Just like my CrossFit career,
- 4:19I'm probably never getting to elite level.
- 4:24However, I tried to play...
- 4:29They have songs that they like tutor you
- 4:31through.
- 4:33So I'm like, Ooh, in the beginner level,
- 4:36there's Jesse's girl.
- 4:38Oh, here we go.
- 4:39All right.
- 4:40I can play Jesse's girl.
- 4:42I put it on and it's basically the
- 4:44beat that I've already learned to start
- 4:47the start song.
- 4:48All right, cool.
- 4:49I'm going to be able to play a
- 4:51freaking song that I know start doing it.
- 4:56Can't keep the beat at all.
- 4:57I'm all over the map.
- 5:00Because I know that song so well because
- 5:02I've known it for forty five years.
- 5:05Yeah.
- 5:06That I want to play on the bass
- 5:08beat instead of playing on the drum beat.
- 5:11Yeah.
- 5:12And it is messing me up.
- 5:14It is.
- 5:19Because you can hear it in your head
- 5:21and how you hear in your head is
- 5:22not how it's actually played.
- 5:25But what I'm hearing in my head is.
- 5:27Yeah.
- 5:30And that's not the drumbeat.
- 5:32No, not that.
- 5:38No.
- 5:38Jesse is a friend.
- 5:40Is he though?
- 5:43Well, he's been a good friend of mine.
- 5:45He's been a good friend of mine.
- 5:46But lately, something's changed.
- 5:49Lately, something's changed.
- 5:51And what it is,
- 5:51is that I want to have sex with
- 5:52his girlfriend.
- 5:54Sorry.
- 5:58Yeah,
- 5:58I'm guessing the friendship is nearing its
- 6:01end.
- 6:01If not all the way at the end.
- 6:03That's pretty much the catalyst that's
- 6:05probably going to end that.
- 6:12How do people... This is the thing.
- 6:17It's not that I hate Nickelback or don't
- 6:18think they're good musicians or whatever.
- 6:23They became the it thing to play on
- 6:26every...
- 6:27terrestrial radio station in the world.
- 6:31And so they just got overplayed so much
- 6:34and there wasn't enough variety to their
- 6:36music for me to be like, Ooh,
- 6:39a Nickelback song.
- 6:41It became no skip.
- 6:43We're, we're going to another station and,
- 6:46because i just can't i mean to be
- 6:49fair with few exceptions um involved they
- 6:53sang about getting drunk strippers and
- 6:56having sex in cars like that's like
- 6:59they're pretty much their top three things
- 7:01which if you listen to uh to chad
- 7:04kroger like that's pretty much what they
- 7:06did when they were
- 7:07high school and right on after that was
- 7:11partying having sex in cars and and and
- 7:14getting drunk getting in fights and shit
- 7:15like that like they had a pretty well
- 7:17apparently that's what john bon jovi did
- 7:19too for because all his songs were through
- 7:23slippery when wet well i mean he grew
- 7:25up in jersey so
- 7:28Not much else to do in Jersey.
- 7:29Not much else to do.
- 7:31Not much else to do.
- 7:32I will say this.
- 7:33Nickelback's got a new album out,
- 7:35and it's pretty damn good.
- 7:36It sounds like their old stuff,
- 7:38but refreshed, if that makes sense.
- 7:41It's got some pretty decent tracks on it
- 7:42that are actually not all about just
- 7:46getting hammered and throwing money at
- 7:48strippers.
- 7:51Fergie goes to Nickelback shows for the
- 7:53single MILFs.
- 7:58Hey, you got to have your thing, Fergie.
- 8:01Target rich environment, Fergie.
- 8:03Target rich environment.
- 8:07Meg.
- 8:07We just lost Vicky.
- 8:10Sorry, y'all.
- 8:12I have to write an email.
- 8:13It's not really mean.
- 8:14And I just want to let you all
- 8:15know that is my issue today.
- 8:17Meg,
- 8:18I almost had the exact same conversation
- 8:21with Vicky and Corey right before the
- 8:24show.
- 8:26And I have this problem about five times
- 8:29a day.
- 8:32Yeah.
- 8:33So, Vicky, excuse me.
- 8:33So, Meg, you just wrote an email.
- 8:35Is that what you're saying?
- 8:41I'm just saying.
- 8:42I'm just saying.
- 8:43I'm just throwing that out there.
- 8:47Anyway.
- 8:48That's what I use Microsoft Copilot for
- 8:51and say, hey,
- 8:51can you make this sound professional?
- 8:53Yeah.
- 8:55So one of my really good friends will
- 8:57throw something in Copilot and add sarcasm
- 9:00to it.
- 9:02And it actually works pretty well.
- 9:04Like whenever it's an email that you don't
- 9:06want to have to write because it's one
- 9:08of them, you know,
- 9:09I shouldn't have to be telling you this,
- 9:11but I'm going to tell you this anyway
- 9:12type deals.
- 9:14And so like he'll write it somewhat
- 9:15professionally and then ask Copilot to add
- 9:17sarcasm and it actually works pretty well.
- 9:20Cool.
- 9:21Yeah,
- 9:21because sarcasm always goes over well in
- 9:23an email.
- 9:24And that's why he does it in Copilot,
- 9:26so he doesn't have to worry about it.
- 9:32Steve,
- 9:33magic power was prominent on my playlist
- 9:35when coaching, as it should.
- 9:39That's a triumph song for people who don't
- 9:41know Canadian rock of the eighties.
- 9:43As it turns out,
- 9:44my eighties Canadian rock is rather
- 9:47limited,
- 9:48rather than the magic power of the music.
- 9:53And me, I'm young, wild, and I'm free.
- 9:59I was hoping you was going to say,
- 10:01this is going to be leading into a
- 10:02puff to magic dragon song, but I mean,
- 10:05same thing, I guess.
- 10:09He lived by the sea.
- 10:14Is this a new endeavor, Meg,
- 10:16that you're trying to be professional?
- 10:20Turning over a new leaf?
- 10:21Yeah.
- 10:22Meg,
- 10:22I'm going to give you the most sage
- 10:24advice I can possibly give you in this
- 10:26situation.
- 10:27Try not.
- 10:29Do or do not.
- 10:31There is no try.
- 10:34You're welcome.
- 10:37Yeah, of course that was good, Meredith.
- 10:38The man can sing.
- 10:43So when I coached Andrew,
- 10:47I did the five AM class and those
- 10:50guys,
- 10:51all they wanted was classic rock and hair
- 10:53band music.
- 10:54And I loved it.
- 10:57My, uh, my five AMRs is usually, um,
- 11:01I have a rock playlist,
- 11:02but it's like sound garden and like a
- 11:07lot of, you know, grunge late nineties,
- 11:09early two thousand stuff,
- 11:10like all that kind of stuff.
- 11:11That's what five AM usually is.
- 11:14Six AM is a completely different vibe
- 11:16because it's usually just my three or
- 11:18four, uh, ladies at about my age.
- 11:22So, um,
- 11:23And they like hip hop,
- 11:24believe it or not.
- 11:25So we usually roll that over into the
- 11:26hip hop thing in the afternoons,
- 11:28just free reign.
- 11:29They'll tell them what you might get on
- 11:30that one.
- 11:33Yeah, it was like five a.m.
- 11:36So basically we didn't have a five a.m.
- 11:38class.
- 11:39And then there was this company that was
- 11:40down the road and they start at like
- 11:42seven a.m.
- 11:44And they came in and said,
- 11:46one of them came in and said, hey,
- 11:48if you had a five a.m.
- 11:49class,
- 11:49I'll make sure that there's at least
- 11:51fifteen people in it every day.
- 11:54sold and the gym owner was like okay
- 11:57we'll give it we'll add it to the
- 11:59schedule you hit your end of the bargain
- 12:01we'll keep it it's still there today damn
- 12:05and i think it's more like a day
- 12:08now people who had that many people at
- 12:11their five a.m class like gyms that always
- 12:15I mean, we have six, sometimes,
- 12:20like if we got a real big five
- 12:21a.m.
- 12:21class, it's a, it's a twelve person class,
- 12:23twelve, twelve every thirteen.
- 12:25Meanwhile,
- 12:26the place that used to be our sister
- 12:27gym, used to be our second location,
- 12:29that's their biggest class of the day,
- 12:30and they'll get like seventeen to twenty
- 12:33every day at five a.m.,
- 12:34which blows my mind completely.
- 12:37Uh,
- 12:37Fergie used to do the nude mom class.
- 12:39Hey, whatever you do on your free time,
- 12:40Fergie.
- 12:42All you, big guy.
- 12:43Which is where he picked up his affinity
- 12:45for Nickelback and single moms.
- 12:48Well, I mean,
- 12:49you can get both of those things at
- 12:50noon.
- 12:51Yeah.
- 12:52From what I understand.
- 12:53Or so I've been told.
- 12:55There's a song about it.
- 12:56I think sky rockets in flight.
- 12:59Afternoon night.
- 13:07Dang, Scott, that was pretty good.
- 13:09I don't know if you know this, Meredith,
- 13:11but in a previous life,
- 13:13Like the nineteen eighties,
- 13:15I was actually the lead singer of a
- 13:17band.
- 13:17There you go.
- 13:18I said, as the man can sing,
- 13:21we almost watched.
- 13:22We're talking about movies that you don't
- 13:24have to turn your brain on for.
- 13:25My wife had that two day training, right?
- 13:28So yesterday and the day before and the
- 13:30day before, which was,
- 13:31I guess that had been Tuesday.
- 13:33She called me on the way home and
- 13:34said,
- 13:36We're either watching Dumb and Dumber or
- 13:40Step Brothers when I get home because I
- 13:43have had enough.
- 13:44She said,
- 13:44I need to just watch something that I
- 13:46don't have to think about.
- 13:47And I said,
- 13:48and we were going through it,
- 13:49and I said, Anchorman?
- 13:52She was actually good with Anchorman,
- 13:53but my daughter wanted to watch Step
- 13:55Brothers, so we ended up putting that on.
- 13:57You said Afternoon Delight.
- 13:58That was the first thing that came to
- 13:59mind.
- 13:59Anchorman.
- 14:02Meg says Dumb and Dumber always.
- 14:06That's my wife's favorite movie of all
- 14:07time, man.
- 14:09I love Dumb and Dumber, man.
- 14:13I would put that above Step Brothers and
- 14:16Anchorman in my... Oh,
- 14:18Pitt's heads are falling off!
- 14:25i i i think i've said this like
- 14:27will ferrell is not my guy like yeah
- 14:29no that's as soon as you said that
- 14:31i was like well you're not a big
- 14:32fan of will ferrell anyway so i like
- 14:34him as a a side character like old
- 14:38school like where he's not the main dude
- 14:43i think he brings levity really well that
- 14:45way but it's rare that when he's the
- 14:48star of the movie like wedding crashers we
- 14:51just watched that like a week ago
- 14:54As mom, give me some meatloaf.
- 14:58Meatloaf.
- 15:00Like that's funny.
- 15:01And that like he shines in that.
- 15:04Or in Austin Powers.
- 15:09I'm not dead.
- 15:11Very badly injured.
- 15:15Yes.
- 15:16Yes.
- 15:17He is awesome in that.
- 15:19I didn't know who he was at that
- 15:21point.
- 15:21Like I really,
- 15:22really didn't when that came out.
- 15:24And I just remember laughing so hard at
- 15:28that one particular moment where like he
- 15:31just kept, I'm not dead.
- 15:33Oh yeah.
- 15:34Frank the Tank, baby.
- 15:35We're going streaking.
- 15:37Streaking into quad.
- 15:40Come on, Snoop.
- 15:46I can see this very much, Ferg.
- 15:48Frank the Tank is a spirit animal.
- 15:50Yeah, makes sense.
- 15:53Totally tracks.
- 15:54Makes sense, yeah.
- 15:57And Fergie also said he does the noon
- 16:00mom class because he wins the workouts.
- 16:04Dude.
- 16:04Dude,
- 16:05I've worked out with some moms that kick
- 16:07the living shit out of me.
- 16:10I want to beat everybody in my gym.
- 16:12Every time, if I drop into class,
- 16:14I'm not dropping into class because I want
- 16:16to just go and hang out with my
- 16:17people.
- 16:17I do.
- 16:18I am.
- 16:19But if I'm dropping into class,
- 16:21I'm dropping into class to destroy
- 16:22everybody's hopes and dreams for the day.
- 16:23And I don't care who it is.
- 16:25You could have just started the day
- 16:26before.
- 16:27You could have been here for ten years.
- 16:28You could be the noon mom.
- 16:31Come up to five thirty, whatever.
- 16:33I'm here to crush your dreams today.
- 16:35When Donna Aramo is in your noon class.
- 16:38that's a different type of relationship
- 16:41and she is the mom of christy aramo
- 16:43o'connell uh she pretty much wipes the
- 16:46floor with everybody that's there other
- 16:48than her daughter i bet i don't have
- 16:52that problem we don't have any games
- 16:53athletes at my gym so here we go
- 17:00your car is very loud thanks
- 17:11To be fair,
- 17:12we didn't have a Jamie at my gym.
- 17:15Yeah.
- 17:19Yeah.
- 17:24I don't know.
- 17:24I'm missing out some stuff.
- 17:25Okay.
- 17:26So I don't even know where I want
- 17:31to start with this.
- 17:32I know you started watching Lioness.
- 17:34Yeah.
- 17:35And season three just ended.
- 17:37And I know you're not there yet.
- 17:38I'm not going to do any spoilers.
- 17:40It's fine.
- 17:41I'm going to watch it regardless.
- 17:42And it has not been renewed yet for
- 17:46season four.
- 17:48And I will say this.
- 17:49Season three ends with a major
- 17:51cliffhanger.
- 17:52Of course it does.
- 17:54Why wouldn't it?
- 17:57It has been running in Paramount Plus's
- 18:00top ten shows.
- 18:03for over two hundred days in a row
- 18:07no sense in renewing that that is six
- 18:11months plus that it has been in the
- 18:13top ten now mind you the new season
- 18:15just started like two months ago so the
- 18:19four months before that it didn't even
- 18:21have new material bro how in the hell
- 18:29how in the hell
- 18:32How in the hell does that not
- 18:33automatically get renewed?
- 18:37because like we talked about the other day
- 18:39Taylor Sheridan has no problem speaking
- 18:43his mind about whatever else is going on
- 18:45in the world and they don't like that
- 18:48they would like it a whole lot better
- 18:50if he would just produce stuff put stuff
- 18:52out that does as well as everything that
- 18:55he's done so far with the exception of
- 18:58freaking Marshalls because that sucked but
- 19:00I don't think Sheridan's not involved with
- 19:03Marshalls
- 19:04no it's a spin-off that somebody else and
- 19:06you can tell you can absolutely tell it's
- 19:09a spin-off it's formulaic i watched one
- 19:11episode and i was like i'm never watching
- 19:13this again this is terrible and i like
- 19:16um what's his name the kid that the
- 19:18actor that plays the the dude like that
- 19:21suit you know you know that actor dude
- 19:25yeah yeah you know for me cory the
- 19:28main guy the main guy um
- 19:32Who plays Casey Dutton?
- 19:35Luke Grimes.
- 19:35Thank you.
- 19:37I like Luke Grimes.
- 19:38Yeah.
- 19:41I remember watching all of...
- 19:45yellowstone and telling jennifer's like
- 19:47this dude needs to be in more stuff
- 19:49like i just i could see him playing
- 19:51other you know other characters don't want
- 19:52to get pigeonholed and just playing casey
- 19:55dutton and he got pigeonholed playing
- 19:59casey dutton and they put him on cbs
- 20:01and catnip for old folks
- 20:04He's just a dude being a dude playing
- 20:06another dude.
- 20:07Exactly.
- 20:08Exactly.
- 20:09Here's the problem,
- 20:09and I know we've talked about this,
- 20:10and we've bashed Marshalls a lot,
- 20:13and it actually did improve a little bit
- 20:15at the end of the first season.
- 20:16Oh, yeah?
- 20:17And my only hope is that...
- 20:20They continue down that path because
- 20:22here's the problem.
- 20:23They made Casey Dutton,
- 20:24who is a former Special Forces Navy SEAL
- 20:30person.
- 20:31And in Yellowstone,
- 20:32he was the biggest badass on the ranch
- 20:35that nobody really wanted to go up
- 20:37against.
- 20:39And there were brief moments where he
- 20:41showed his badassery.
- 20:44And that's what made it even more,
- 20:47because he didn't want to do any of
- 20:48that kind of stuff.
- 20:49So, like,
- 20:49you could see him being reserved and
- 20:51holding back,
- 20:51and then when he finally pushed him too
- 20:53far.
- 20:54But if I were to find out,
- 20:55you found out.
- 20:56I'm the baddest dude out here,
- 20:58and do not make me show you.
- 21:00And they really wussified him on the CBS
- 21:03version.
- 21:04Yeah.
- 21:08Catnip for old folks.
- 21:10Dude, like, it just...
- 21:13It's so frustrating.
- 21:15Here's the thing.
- 21:15So CBS does it.
- 21:16They all do it nowadays,
- 21:17but CBS is really bad for it.
- 21:19So if it would have been a hit,
- 21:22how long before you got Marshalls,
- 21:25New York City, Marshalls,
- 21:27like whatever else,
- 21:29because they started spinning that off
- 21:30like a spinoff of the spinoff, right?
- 21:33Because there's NCIS Miami and there's
- 21:35NCIS this place and there's NCIS freaking
- 21:39Puerto Rico or whatever else it is.
- 21:40Like they're all over the place.
- 21:43So how long would it have been if
- 21:46people would have been like – if it
- 21:47had actually been decent for the first
- 21:49couple episodes before, oh,
- 21:52now let's take this concept and let's –
- 21:54because there's no creativity left.
- 21:56Whatsoever.
- 21:57Especially on CBS.
- 21:59Especially on CBS.
- 22:01So, and here's the thing.
- 22:03It is a hit.
- 22:04It is a hit because the older,
- 22:08what you say, the catnip for old people,
- 22:10like it is that thing where they, like,
- 22:16and my mom's going to crucify me tonight
- 22:18when I talk to her on the phone,
- 22:20but like my mom will not watch Yellowstone
- 22:24because of the language.
- 22:26Yeah.
- 22:26Right?
- 22:27And that's her prerogative.
- 22:29Sure.
- 22:29So you throw Marshalls on CBS.
- 22:31It doesn't have the language.
- 22:33And then she thinks that that is like
- 22:35hard-hitting television.
- 22:37Right.
- 22:38But it's missing a lot.
- 22:39And here's my argument.
- 22:42You can be hard-hitting without language.
- 22:44Sure.
- 22:45But CBS wussifies it all for the masses
- 22:49as opposed to like going after good
- 22:53writing.
- 22:53Right.
- 22:54Yeah.
- 22:55Steal an awesome character and like remove
- 22:58the good writing and then throw it up
- 23:00and people are tuning in left and right.
- 23:02Yeah.
- 23:04but they don't know how to take one
- 23:06thing down and then adjust for the rest
- 23:08of it.
- 23:09Right.
- 23:10Like a good sound, good sound editor.
- 23:12Oh man, that, that, that, you know,
- 23:13that part sounds kind of muddy right
- 23:15there.
- 23:15We really don't want that.
- 23:16We're not, well, let's take this away.
- 23:18Okay.
- 23:18Well, if I take this away now,
- 23:19it's now this part sounds kind of weird.
- 23:21Well,
- 23:22let's adjust it until you can finally kind
- 23:23of get the mix right.
- 23:24And it sounds outstanding and you got rid
- 23:27of what you didn't want.
- 23:29but you maintain the integrity of it.
- 23:31They don't know how to do that.
- 23:33They just turn the whole thing down and
- 23:36just, yeah,
- 23:36it'll be fine like it is right there.
- 23:38It's still the same character.
- 23:39No, it's not the same character anymore.
- 23:42It's really not.
- 23:43That dude bears very little resemblance
- 23:45other than the haircut in his outfit,
- 23:48whereas bears very little resemblance to
- 23:50the Casey Dutton that everybody watched on
- 23:53Yellowstone for however many seasons it
- 23:55was on.
- 23:57Avera,
- 23:57I don't want to bring up your comment
- 23:59because I don't want to put a spoiler
- 24:00out there because the Lioness finale was
- 24:03only like a week and a half ago.
- 24:06But this is your answer.
- 24:09You missed the point that Joe is the
- 24:11bait, not the target.
- 24:15That's the point that they're driving
- 24:17home.
- 24:23CIS Columbus,
- 24:24where all the detectives are jacked and
- 24:26tanned.
- 24:34We got the best viewers.
- 24:36It's not even close.
- 24:42So I did buy a book.
- 24:44I heard.
- 24:46Got pages?
- 24:49Well, I bought the audio version.
- 24:51So no.
- 24:55It's still a book.
- 24:57There it is.
- 24:59There it is.
- 25:00Vicky on top of stuff.
- 25:04So I actually bought the Sylvester
- 25:06Stallone memoir steps.
- 25:09But not the actual book.
- 25:13And I am four chapters in already.
- 25:16Well, yeah,
- 25:17because all you have to do is listen
- 25:18to it.
- 25:18I'd imagine you're four chapters in.
- 25:22What kills me about stuff like that is
- 25:24that the audio book stuff is that,
- 25:26or for you,
- 25:27is that when do you listen to it?
- 25:29Because that's what I'm having a hard time
- 25:31with.
- 25:32yeah because you know what i don't have
- 25:35to read it like i it's it's hard
- 25:40a book like that i want to listen
- 25:41to very intently and so it's hard to
- 25:44listen to at work yeah because you gotta
- 25:46yeah you try to pay attention to it
- 25:48yeah where i put like a crossfit video
- 25:50up on my laptop while i'm working i
- 25:53don't need to pay attention to it in
- 25:55depth
- 25:57Yeah.
- 25:57This one I want to hear everything,
- 25:59but I am actually reading two other books
- 26:01right now because friends asked me to.
- 26:05Oh.
- 26:06Ladies and gentlemen,
- 26:07Scott Schweitzer will read if you ask him
- 26:10to.
- 26:10No, no, no.
- 26:12Scott Schweitzer will read a book if you
- 26:14write one and you ask me to review
- 26:17it.
- 26:19Oh.
- 26:19So there's a lot of like caveats to
- 26:22that.
- 26:22Let me guess.
- 26:25So I don't want to put it out
- 26:27there because I don't know if these people
- 26:28want people to know where they're at in
- 26:30their journey.
- 26:32But what I do want to say is
- 26:34that, hey, I do not wear a robe,
- 26:40especially a pink leopard skin robe.
- 26:44That's probably way more information than
- 26:45we need, Scott.
- 26:47Ladies and gentlemen, Scott does not read,
- 26:48nor does he wear robes.
- 26:52Got way more information than Skybox got
- 26:54today.
- 26:58Did you see that Caleb Williams is getting
- 27:00ripped for wearing a robe in the locker
- 27:02room after the game?
- 27:03My body said my man didn't dress out.
- 27:05He just went to the game to take
- 27:07a shower.
- 27:12Hey, I ain't saying nothing about it.
- 27:14He looked comfy.
- 27:15He looked happy as shit that Case Keenum
- 27:18got him a win and got the game
- 27:20ball and all that kind of stuff.
- 27:23It did look a little weird.
- 27:24He did look like a proud grandfather with
- 27:27a smoking jacket on.
- 27:30However,
- 27:31he is just a target for everything.
- 27:36People just hate on that kid.
- 27:40Yeah.
- 27:40Oh, my.
- 27:42What the?
- 27:49Scott,
- 27:49did you see they're expanding the Arnold's
- 27:51footprint this year by adding thirty
- 27:53thousand square foot tent a couple blocks
- 27:56away?
- 27:57Good night.
- 27:59So I'm not sure it's expanding the
- 28:01footprint because in the past they've used
- 28:04Goodale Park, didn't have a tent over it,
- 28:07but they ran some of the events like
- 28:09at an outdoor park in the past.
- 28:12It's already at three different locations
- 28:14in Columbus.
- 28:18now what's that for so they so the
- 28:20arnold is the big fitness expo in columbus
- 28:23arnold schwarzenegger runs it they take
- 28:26the entire yeah not hey arnold or no
- 28:28no no no not arnold from happy days
- 28:32from happy days or uh what was the
- 28:35other one uh gosh doing it the little
- 28:39short black dude
- 28:42Arnold Drummond from different strokes.
- 28:44Yes.
- 28:44Thank you.
- 28:46Different strokes.
- 28:46I couldn't remember the name of it.
- 28:48Why is that in my head?
- 28:50Right.
- 28:52But like now between the two of us,
- 28:54you knew what I was talking about.
- 28:56That's fantastic in and of itself.
- 28:58So there's a small park along the river
- 29:01that has an arch from like the old
- 29:04train station.
- 29:06And that's apparently where they're
- 29:07putting this.
- 29:08A thirty thousand square foot tent.
- 29:11That's a big tent.
- 29:12You can do a lot of camping underneath
- 29:14there.
- 29:15That's like five CrossFit gyms.
- 29:21So yeah,
- 29:22they already have the entire convention
- 29:24center.
- 29:25They have the fairgrounds venue.
- 29:29And then they have like a fitness place
- 29:32where they do like indoor swimming and
- 29:35stuff like that.
- 29:37That is insanity, man.
- 29:39There are so many people in this town.
- 29:41I avoid downtown like it's the plague when
- 29:44the Arnold's going on.
- 29:49What are they doing underneath the tent?
- 29:51Is it a circus?
- 29:52Is it like a fitness circus going on?
- 29:57I don't know, dude.
- 29:58I don't know what they're putting there.
- 29:59Like back...
- 30:01Back when they were using Goodale Park,
- 30:03they would do like pump and runs there.
- 30:07I'm sorry, what?
- 30:08A pump and run.
- 30:09You don't know what a pump and run
- 30:10is?
- 30:12So you get under a bench press at
- 30:14like two twenty five and you knock out
- 30:16as many reps as you can.
- 30:17And as soon as you're done,
- 30:18you take off on like a five K.
- 30:21so like four and then run a five
- 30:23game got it so and then the premise
- 30:26is that you get like ten seconds knocked
- 30:28off for every rep of bench press you
- 30:31do um and so they did that there
- 30:38they had some like um obstacle course
- 30:40stuff uh in the park where like they
- 30:44made them carry tree stumps and
- 30:49Like on commando?
- 30:50Yeah.
- 30:51Like, dude.
- 30:53Tree stump in one hand,
- 30:54chainsaw in the other.
- 30:59It's one of those things where you have
- 31:02to see it one time.
- 31:04No, I don't.
- 31:04Because, like,
- 31:05everything that may be a sport is at
- 31:08this thing.
- 31:10Like, they had axe throwing.
- 31:12They have archery.
- 31:13They have kickboxing.
- 31:15They have strongman.
- 31:18They have bodybuilding.
- 31:19They used to have CrossFit.
- 31:20That got all jacked up.
- 31:23Remind me how many people had this thing?
- 31:26Like half a mil.
- 31:27Yeah, I'm not going.
- 31:28Yeah.
- 31:31Now granted,
- 31:31it's spread out over like now four
- 31:33locations.
- 31:35Yeah.
- 31:36still not going that's still so if it's
- 31:40that's that's a hundred and twenty five
- 31:41thousand people per location at that point
- 31:44that's that's more than that you can see
- 31:47in tiger stadium on a saturday night no
- 31:49thank you i'm good uh fergie used to
- 31:53be known as pump and run in college
- 31:55that's why i was confused whenever you
- 31:56said that i thought we were just talking
- 31:57about fergie uh that's a half a mil
- 32:02too many
- 32:04Yeah, so I used – and again,
- 32:07I used to work security for the Arnold.
- 32:09I used to escort the posing whatever,
- 32:15males and females to the stage.
- 32:18And once I did that for about five
- 32:20years, I'm out.
- 32:22Like I was done.
- 32:23No, you did your time.
- 32:24Yep.
- 32:25You did your time, served your purpose,
- 32:27got to see all that stuff,
- 32:28got to meet all those people and whatnot.
- 32:30I'm sure that was cool.
- 32:32um but there's no way i am willfully
- 32:35going to an event that i know there's
- 32:36going to be half of me that's that
- 32:38it's like going to mardi gras only would
- 32:40fit people no thank you and i'm probably
- 32:43under selling the half mil it's probably
- 32:45more than that yeah i'm sure i'm sure
- 32:49uh that's a lot of no explode yeah
- 32:54it is it is the biggest supplement sales
- 32:58venue probably in the world
- 33:01There's one huge part of the convention
- 33:05center that is nothing but vendors with
- 33:08the most massive booths you've ever seen
- 33:12in your life.
- 33:14Like Rogue brings out the big booth for
- 33:16the Arnold.
- 33:18But it's like everybody from X Endurance
- 33:21to...
- 33:24God,
- 33:24I can't even name the supplements anymore.
- 33:27Ghost, Rain, C-For, they're all there.
- 33:31And they're all handing out samples.
- 33:34That's what Amanda's saying.
- 33:36Amanda said you can leave with enough free
- 33:37samples to last a year.
- 33:38Yeah.
- 33:41Yeah,
- 33:41the first year I went and I didn't
- 33:42really realize it.
- 33:45I sampled so many because they have like
- 33:47pre-workout in cups that you can just grab
- 33:50and like throw back.
- 33:52Yeah,
- 33:52I was basically like running up the walls,
- 33:54hanging off the roof by the end of
- 33:56the first day.
- 33:57Just sitting around doing this.
- 34:02Your eyeballs itching or is that just
- 34:04mine?
- 34:06I knew what it felt like to be
- 34:07Ronnie Coleman.
- 34:10I was showing some, uh,
- 34:12who was showing us that somebody was
- 34:13showing me the other day,
- 34:14a thing Ronnie Coleman was on in his
- 34:16wheelchair,
- 34:16like showing people how to lift weights.
- 34:21Do they still have Jack three D I
- 34:23don't know, man,
- 34:24but I think I sampled that too.
- 34:26Nobody has that anymore than Jason.
- 34:28That's not even a thing.
- 34:30This one supplement company took their
- 34:32pre-workout and it was like a,
- 34:34like a wild cherry flavor and they'd made
- 34:37it a slushy.
- 34:39Oh,
- 34:40I think I drank about forty-seven little
- 34:44cups of that.
- 34:46It's probably what got you right there.
- 34:49I think that is probably why I'm in
- 34:51AFib these days and worrying about it.
- 34:55It was that day of cherry slushies of
- 34:59pre-workout.
- 35:03Like what's his name had on Mallrats?
- 35:07Just walking around with that the whole
- 35:08time.
- 35:10Because, like, I am a slushy addict.
- 35:16No books.
- 35:17Slushy addict.
- 35:18Doesn't wear robes.
- 35:20We're learning a lot about Scott today.
- 35:23Yeah.
- 35:26The Ultimate Orange was a precursor to
- 35:27Jack Three-D.
- 35:28Pretty much orange-flavored.
- 35:29Veteran.
- 35:30Jesus Christ.
- 35:34That sounds interesting.
- 35:37You know what that is, man?
- 35:38That's riding the snake, man.
- 35:39Oh, yeah.
- 35:40Riding the snake.
- 35:42Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
- 35:47Oh, I fought what he said.
- 35:56Super freak.
- 35:57Rick James.
- 35:58I fought Rick James on five separate
- 36:00occasions.
- 36:12Rest in peace, Charlie Murphy.
- 36:16Rest in peace, Charlie Murphy.
- 36:19Oh, gosh, dude.
- 36:21Like every time we say something,
- 36:22something else pops in my head.
- 36:23I just got to shut up.
- 36:24Shut up, voice.
- 36:25Shut up, voice.
- 36:26Because I immediately went to the Eddie
- 36:28Murphy documentary where they talk about
- 36:30Charlie and being his security guard.
- 36:33Mm-hmm.
- 36:37And Eddie was like,
- 36:37and he was good at it.
- 36:39Well, because he loved his brother.
- 36:43He would fight people.
- 36:45All you had to do was say something.
- 36:46There's a clip of him,
- 36:49of Eddie on stage somewhere.
- 36:51And I don't remember.
- 36:52It might have been from one of the
- 36:53specials like Delirious or the other one
- 36:57where somebody said something like in the
- 36:58crowd while he was on stage.
- 37:00And you can hear Charlie from the other
- 37:02side of the arena saying,
- 37:04Like, threaten the dude.
- 37:06Like, just out of the blue.
- 37:08Habitual line for stuff, baby.
- 37:14Did you see the botched execution?
- 37:17I heard about it.
- 37:18No, I did not actually see it.
- 37:22You're sitting there on death row.
- 37:24They pull you out.
- 37:26They strap you down.
- 37:28They put one injection in,
- 37:30and it doesn't take...
- 37:31They put a second one in,
- 37:33and it doesn't take...
- 37:35You got to feel pretty damn invincible at
- 37:37that moment.
- 37:38Yeah, just...
- 37:40I mean, are we doing this?
- 37:41Are we not?
- 37:42Like, what's happening at this point?
- 37:44We're coming.
- 37:45We're going.
- 37:45I thought this was the day.
- 37:48Sweet Jesus.
- 37:49You know what I'm saying?
- 37:49You can't kill me.
- 37:51Yeah.
- 37:52Look,
- 37:53how many times are y'all going to try?
- 37:54That probably would have been my next
- 37:55question.
- 37:56Like, if we're not doing this today,
- 37:57we're doing it again tomorrow.
- 37:58Like, tell me what's happening right now.
- 38:00I need to figure this out.
- 38:02How many times am I going to walk
- 38:03the mile, man?
- 38:04Yeah, for real.
- 38:05I've been here a lot.
- 38:08Gosh darn.
- 38:12uh meg she she's a redhead yeah in
- 38:15the picture i've seen she's can't kill her
- 38:18redhead can't kill somebody that have a
- 38:20soul hey my wife's a redhead she got
- 38:24a soul but you can't kill her i'll
- 38:25tell you that god bless you it she
- 38:31must be uh drinking that keith richards
- 38:33serum that dude's gonna outlive everybody
- 38:37i mean everybody everybody
- 38:39Alien's going to show up in thirty five
- 38:41million years.
- 38:41It's going to be Keith with a guitar
- 38:42smoking a cigarette by a barren wasteland
- 38:45by himself.
- 38:46Yeah.
- 38:53Little did they know dude was a Wolverine.
- 38:54Well, it's not a dude.
- 38:55It's a dude.
- 38:59And I believe I don't follow this stuff
- 39:03remotely enough or probably too much even
- 39:07for me.
- 39:08But I think she's there because she killed
- 39:10her children.
- 39:10Is that right?
- 39:12Oh, I don't know.
- 39:13I just heard that they botched it.
- 39:16The only few facts I have,
- 39:18and I was trying not to bring it
- 39:19up, is that she was on death row,
- 39:22been on there for a while.
- 39:23They tried to kill her.
- 39:24It didn't work.
- 39:25She says no, it wasn't for...
- 39:28Meg watches all this stuff,
- 39:29and I knew I shouldn't have stepped out
- 39:30there on the limb.
- 39:31It was going to break under me.
- 39:35She killed a girl she thought was going
- 39:37after her boyfriend.
- 39:41She's been on death row for thirty years.
- 39:47That's a long time.
- 39:48The state was Tennessee.
- 39:51Yeah.
- 39:52What her current state is.
- 39:54Not the state she's in.
- 39:56Yeah.
- 39:59Oh, man.
- 40:04Just rumor says the Pablo Torre show about
- 40:06Tebow is really good.
- 40:09Yeah, we talked about that on Yay Sports.
- 40:13If you want to hear about that,
- 40:14go check out that episode.
- 40:15It aired Tuesday night.
- 40:18We talked about that pretty in-depth.
- 40:24Oh.
- 40:27In ninety-five, when she was eighteen,
- 40:29Pike murdered her nineteen-year-old Job
- 40:31Corps classmate, Colleen Slemmer,
- 40:34in Knoxville.
- 40:38And now we're trying to kill her,
- 40:39and it just ain't working.
- 40:42Yeah, Job Corps.
- 40:44I had so many friends do that.
- 40:47What's a Job Corps?
- 40:48It was a Clinton administration program
- 40:51that allowed you to work to pay off
- 40:54your school debt.
- 40:55Oh.
- 40:57All right.
- 40:59I was in school in nineteen ninety five.
- 41:01We're hearing about that in South.
- 41:02That is the very Reader's Digest version
- 41:05of the of what it is.
- 41:08Again,
- 41:08I don't know why you're talking about the
- 41:09Reader's Digest when you don't read books.
- 41:11So Reader's Digest is not a book.
- 41:14It is a magazine.
- 41:16Is it?
- 41:17It's about this big.
- 41:20And I know because I just got my
- 41:21wife's description to it.
- 41:22So we got several floating around the
- 41:24house right now.
- 41:27Federal residential education and job
- 41:30training.
- 41:30I got that totally botched.
- 41:32I'm thinking of something else.
- 41:34For low income youth.
- 41:37I was definitely a low income youth.
- 41:39I was making full twenty five an hour
- 41:41in nineteen ninety five.
- 41:43What was the program that Clinton came out
- 41:45with that you could pay off your student
- 41:47loan debt?
- 41:51Why can't I?
- 41:53I'm all over the world.
- 41:55You can't be asking me questions about
- 41:57Clinton and programs and college because
- 42:00that's Monica Lewinsky.
- 42:02Nope, that's my brain.
- 42:04I didn't say Monica.
- 42:05You didn't have to.
- 42:07You didn't have to.
- 42:09She was an intern.
- 42:12I know who and what she is, man.
- 42:17If you were alive in the nineties,
- 42:18you know that story.
- 42:20Yes.
- 42:20You couldn't even avoid it.
- 42:22No, I don't care.
- 42:23You could have been like six.
- 42:24It wouldn't matter.
- 42:25You'd heard, you'd heard about it.
- 42:28Um, last thing like non,
- 42:32we're not going to hit anything CrossFit
- 42:34to add some stuff,
- 42:35but you don't need to.
- 42:36Yesterday we mentioned that Dennis Haskins
- 42:38passed away.
- 42:39The principal unsaved by the bell.
- 42:41He was not in fact saved by the
- 42:43bell.
- 42:43He was not.
- 42:45it's come out have you seen that that
- 42:47the actors from there coming out saying
- 42:50that basically they get no residuals for
- 42:53anything really they do at this point get
- 42:57um so tiffany amber thesen came out and
- 42:59said basically they don't get checks
- 43:01anymore because they're so small it would
- 43:04they would lose money writing the check
- 43:06yeah it costs more money to send in
- 43:07a check anyway
- 43:09And even when they were getting checks,
- 43:12they were super small.
- 43:14And Mark Paul Gosler said, yeah,
- 43:16they signed like really, really bad deals.
- 43:19Well, I mean,
- 43:20they didn't know at a time.
- 43:22And then Mario Lopez came out and
- 43:24confirmed it all that like, yeah, they,
- 43:26so they, after some research,
- 43:29this news media company said they got paid
- 43:33fifteen hundred dollars an episode.
- 43:36One thousand five hundred dollars an
- 43:38episode.
- 43:41I was always saved by the bell in
- 43:42the air.
- 43:43During that era,
- 43:45Saved by the Bell was making over fifteen
- 43:48million dollars a year in advertising
- 43:50revenue alone.
- 43:51Alone.
- 43:52Yeah, I'm sure.
- 43:53And I mean,
- 43:54I imagine when they went into syndication,
- 43:56like they probably got more deals because
- 43:59here, there, I mean,
- 44:00you couldn't get away from for a while.
- 44:03And I'm assuming the kids got little to
- 44:05nothing in residuals from that because of
- 44:07the deal they sold.
- 44:09And they...
- 44:10and that means in syndication they're not
- 44:13making new ones all that all the
- 44:15production people are making everything on
- 44:18stuff that's already been completed so
- 44:20that's like pure profit yeah bruh that is
- 44:27insane i would never in a million years
- 44:29i'd get fifteen hundred bucks an episode
- 44:31good night yeah thesen said that she
- 44:34didn't make real money until beverly hills
- 44:36nine oh two one oh oh i'm sure
- 44:38i'm sure she got paid for that
- 44:41I'm sure she got paid for that.
- 44:42Yeah, and she still gets checks for that.
- 44:46I would send her checks.
- 44:48Not for that.
- 44:50When your parent is your agent.
- 44:53Probably not even when your parent is your
- 44:54agent, dude, because that's,
- 44:57I would hope anyway.
- 44:58I mean, some,
- 44:59a lot of Hollywood parents have no
- 45:01scruples whatsoever, but like,
- 45:02I would hope your kids would,
- 45:03your parents would fight for you to go
- 45:05better than fifteen hundred bucks an
- 45:06episode considering all the time it took.
- 45:09Right?
- 45:09TV production,
- 45:10especially something like that,
- 45:11probably took a significant amount of
- 45:12their time,
- 45:13especially considering they were all very,
- 45:15very young at the time.
- 45:18Like that's, that's wild.
- 45:19Yeah.
- 45:22Dude.
- 45:22And then the last thing,
- 45:25because I didn't get into the Stallone
- 45:26stuff too much,
- 45:27but I saw a thing where he has
- 45:29asked Amazon.
- 45:32Amazon owns Rocky now?
- 45:34Because I think they own... Paramount.
- 45:35Not Paramount.
- 45:36Twenty Century Fox?
- 45:38Twenty Century Fox.
- 45:39That's one out of two.
- 45:43Stallone has asked them if he can recut
- 45:45Rocky V.
- 45:48Because it's like his biggest regret that
- 45:51he didn't direct that one and he let
- 45:53someone else handle it and he hates how
- 45:55it came out.
- 45:57And I think we all agree that it
- 45:59is the worst Rocky movie of them all.
- 46:01Oh, by far.
- 46:02And in my mind, it doesn't even exist.
- 46:05And he said, they asked him like,
- 46:07if you recut it,
- 46:08will it make it good?
- 46:09And he said, nothing will make it good.
- 46:12It'll just make it tolerable.
- 46:15I didn't say I was going to make
- 46:16it good.
- 46:17I just wanted to make it better than
- 46:18what it is.
- 46:19Son of a bitch!
- 46:26Yeah.
- 46:28That is such a great answer.
- 46:30No amount of cutting are going to make
- 46:32that.
- 46:33No amount of re-editing is going to make
- 46:34it any good.
- 46:35I just need it to be tolerable at
- 46:37this point.
- 46:38It needs to be better than what it
- 46:39is right now.
- 46:40Oh, that was a...
- 46:43That was tonic.
- 46:43Yeah.
- 46:44Polishing the turd.
- 46:45Exactly.
- 46:45Very exactly.
- 46:47That's the, that's Tommy gun, right?
- 46:49That's yeah.
- 46:51And George Washington Duke.
- 46:56The only redeeming quality of that is the,
- 46:58the speech he gives his son about life's
- 47:01going to knock you down and you got
- 47:02to get back up.
- 47:03Like that's the only part of that movie.
- 47:04That's memorable.
- 47:07That is not even Rocky five, dude.
- 47:10Is it not?
- 47:10That's the one after that, then.
- 47:11That's Rocky Balboa.
- 47:13Oh, see?
- 47:14There you go.
- 47:14Yep.
- 47:16Okay, so maybe when he tells Tommy Gunn,
- 47:21my ring's outside,
- 47:23whenever they get into a boar fight,
- 47:25maybe that's...
- 47:27Yeah, see,
- 47:28that's how bad my memory is when it
- 47:30comes to Rocky V.
- 47:31I'm quoting shit from Rocky Balboa.
- 47:33There you go.
- 47:34Yeah,
- 47:35Rocky V is where he dreams Mick yelling,
- 47:39get up, you son of a bitch,
- 47:41because Mickey loves you.
- 47:43Yeah.
- 47:46Mickey's been dead for quite some time.
- 47:49Rocky V, not even good enough to quote.
- 47:51Exactly.
- 47:52Unless you want to say, my ring's outside.
- 47:57And that ain't even cool.
- 47:58No.
- 47:59But what they were saying is that the
- 48:01reason it's so bad is that they actually
- 48:03had two villains in the movie.
- 48:04Yeah.
- 48:05Because Tommy Gunn is a villain by the
- 48:07end and George Washington Duke is a
- 48:10villain.
- 48:11And so there was no way for Rocky
- 48:15to legitimately take out the two villains.
- 48:20Right.
- 48:22Right.
- 48:22Like Clubber Lang,
- 48:23he beats him up in the ring.
- 48:26Ivan Drago,
- 48:27he takes them out in the ring.
- 48:28Right.
- 48:29America one in Rocky four.
- 48:30He, he,
- 48:32he like punches Tommy gun into the trash
- 48:35cans.
- 48:36Yeah.
- 48:37And then he punches George Washington
- 48:39Duke,
- 48:39but there's not even like any satisfaction
- 48:42in that.
- 48:43No.
- 48:43Well,
- 48:43because by that point you're just like,
- 48:45yeah, like he,
- 48:46he'd been should have done that.
- 48:48Like that should have happened.
- 48:50Forty minutes ago.
- 48:53Yeah.
- 48:55Yeah, there you go, Ramirez.
- 48:56You knocked him down.
- 48:58Why don't you try knocking me down now?
- 49:04I will say this.
- 49:05So Stallone reads the audio book to you.
- 49:08That's phenomenal.
- 49:10I might have to buy it just for
- 49:11that.
- 49:11So you already know, like,
- 49:14he talks kind of slow.
- 49:16So I can actually listen to them at
- 49:18like one and a quarter speed,
- 49:20and it sounds like you and I talking.
- 49:22Sounds like us, yeah.
- 49:25Oh, look at this.
- 49:26Retired Steve coming in.
- 49:28The death count needed to be higher.
- 49:31Yeah,
- 49:31they needed Marion Cobretti to come in in
- 49:33a pickup truck and just gun it all
- 49:35down.
- 49:37Probably during that frigging bar fight
- 49:40scene.
- 49:40Just take everybody out that was in there
- 49:42and just call it good and just end
- 49:43it right there.
- 49:45Yeah,
- 49:45that would have been a better ending to
- 49:47the movie.
- 49:48Maybe that's how he's going to recut it.
- 49:50He's going to take that segment of Cobra
- 49:53and swap it into Rocky V and just
- 49:56mow everybody down.
- 49:58It'll be like every time, oh,
- 50:02what is his name?
- 50:03Paul Rudd goes on whatever talk show it
- 50:08was and brings the clip from Mac and
- 50:10Me.
- 50:10He's supposed to be promoting a movie.
- 50:16because it makes no sense in the concept
- 50:18of things but like all of a sudden
- 50:20you see Rocky about to do something and
- 50:21then Marion Cobra just drives up and it's
- 50:23just a scene from Cobra it's just that
- 50:26scene from Cobra and all of a sudden
- 50:27everybody gets mowed down and then end
- 50:29credits
- 50:32you know i clipped this show and and
- 50:33i put it out on different mediums and
- 50:35whatever really and uh so i put the
- 50:39the whole like us loving cobra on tick
- 50:41tock no i cannot believe the amount of
- 50:45traction that got on tick tock get out
- 50:47from us talking about cobra the amount of
- 50:49people that said that is the greatest
- 50:51movie you gotta love that movie they're
- 50:56not wrong
- 50:58Our biggest TikTok video ever is us
- 51:01talking about spotting someone who has so
- 51:03much weight on the barbell that it has
- 51:05whip.
- 51:06Yes.
- 51:06That thing has like a hundred thousand
- 51:08views.
- 51:09Really?
- 51:09With like eighty comments.
- 51:13Just people going, oh, yeah.
- 51:15Well,
- 51:15half people doing that and half people
- 51:17going, oh, come on, man.
- 51:19You can spot anybody because like they're
- 51:21helping you with.
- 51:23Can you?
- 51:24Yeah.
- 51:24It's just typical internet garbage.
- 51:26Like you get half good, half bad.
- 51:29That's hilarious.
- 51:30Those people have never tried to grab a
- 51:32four hundred pound barbell.
- 51:33That's my struggling with right here or
- 51:36who just tore their pack.
- 51:38Yeah.
- 51:38And I can't get it up at all.
- 51:40The barbell can't get the barbell up.
- 51:43It's.
- 51:47I don't know.
- 51:48It's not the video I would have pictured
- 51:50being our biggest video ever on TikTok.
- 51:53God, no.
- 51:54Listen,
- 51:55I am not going to pretend that I
- 51:56understand TikTok.
- 51:58tiktok's algorithm at all no that'd be
- 52:02like if i went into reddit and just
- 52:03started trying to make sense of what
- 52:05anybody said over there not gonna happen
- 52:07the last time i went into reddit my
- 52:09hair going on fire um like one leg
- 52:12of my pants fell off just randomly just
- 52:14because the amount of shit that people say
- 52:16on there that makes absolutely no sense
- 52:17whatsoever yeah no it was not helping no
- 52:21it was not no it was not
- 52:26Forever he will now be Peckboy because I
- 52:28couldn't remember his name in that moment.
- 52:30From now,
- 52:31if I had his number in my phone,
- 52:32I would have changed it to Peckboy by
- 52:34now.
- 52:36Yeah.
- 52:38It's just crazy the way the internet
- 52:39works.
- 52:40Oh, absolutely it is.
- 52:43All right, man.
- 52:43Well, I'm going to get back to work.
- 52:44I'm going to eat some lunch.
- 52:47I'm going to go write a mean email,
- 52:49throw it into Copilot, say make this nice.
- 52:53make this sound professional make this
- 52:55sound less aggressive how do i how do
- 52:58i professionally tell people to get bit
- 53:01that's what you need to yeah no look
- 53:08there's meg she's still she's still with
- 53:10us mean emails because my morning has so
- 53:13i'm supposed to do this training for this
- 53:15other agency on how to use our website
- 53:19i did the training they recorded it it
- 53:21didn't save
- 53:24So I was supposed to do it again
- 53:26yesterday.
- 53:27Got there,
- 53:28they had technical issues and they're
- 53:29like, well, let's just press on.
- 53:31And I said, no,
- 53:32let's not because I'm not doing it again.
- 53:35How about you fix this stuff on your
- 53:37end and you give me a call when
- 53:39you're ready for me.
- 53:42So they scheduled it for this morning.
- 53:44So I go to the meeting,
- 53:46having the same technical issues we had
- 53:48yesterday.
- 53:51I'm like, how about this?
- 53:52How about I just record it myself on
- 53:55my own computer?
- 53:57I'll send you the file.
- 53:59You can incorporate it into your
- 54:00introduction and your ending.
- 54:04And let's call it a day.
- 54:14It's difficult to work with Scott's end of
- 54:16the year review.
- 54:20Oh, that's good stuff.
- 54:21Yeah.
- 54:24Yeah, I would have done the same thing,
- 54:25Scott.
- 54:25Tell you what,
- 54:26let me just fix it for you.
- 54:28And then you can do whatever you want
- 54:29with it.
- 54:29I ain't messing around with your bullshit
- 54:31anymore.
- 54:32I'll just record it myself and I'll send
- 54:34you the file.
- 54:37Because I'm a lone wolf.
- 54:40It's Thanos at the end of the first
- 54:43Avengers movie.
- 54:44He goes, I just do it myself.
- 54:48I just take care of it.
- 54:49Not a big deal.
- 54:50Let's hope I'm not just sitting on the
- 54:51steps at the end of this training session
- 54:54staring off into the sunset as a failure.
- 54:59Probably not.
- 55:01And the orbiter of truth.
- 55:04As long as I'm the arbiter of truth,
- 55:06the rest of it is fine.
- 55:07Difficult to work with, however,
- 55:09is the arbiter of truth.
- 55:11Those two things kind of,
- 55:13they're going to mesh together at this
- 55:14point.
- 55:15Yeah.
- 55:17All right, man.
- 55:18I got to go.
- 55:19We'll see everybody later.
- 55:20Take us out, Vic.
- 55:22You wouldn't wait to get to the editing
- 55:23room to jazz me up.
- 55:26I'm already jazzy.
- 55:37Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the
- 55:38saddle.
- 55:39Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the
- 55:41saddle.
- 55:41Talking to reps,
- 55:42real life strength in the battle.
- 55:45From the gym to the screen, yeah,
- 55:47we cover it all.
- 55:50Midday motivation every time we press
- 55:52call.
- 55:54Lunch with the Clydesdale Cowboy in the
- 55:56heat.
- 55:57CrossFit, movies, music on repeat.
- 55:59Half hour hustle, yeah,
- 56:00we building that brand.
- 56:01Grab a plate, shoot it.
