- 1:44have been waiting very carefully and calmly to get this guy on
- 1:48the show. I know Nathan told me he got him
- 1:51on the show. I actually met this guy over 25
- 1:55years ago, 25 years ago. I'm 43, so it might even be
- 1:59longer than that. It's got to be 30 years ago.
- 2:00And I I don't see him on the the scope, but that's a fine.
- 2:04Ladies and gentlemen, Tim Witherspoon, Heavyweight
- 2:09champion, former heavyweight champion of the world.
- 2:11What's up, Timmy? With these earplugs, the ear,
- 2:14you say, Timmy, like I've been knowing you for 20 years.
- 2:17Listen, I I did, believe it or not, Tim, the back end.
- 2:23Who is this? Now hold on, I'm going to, I'm
- 2:25going to tell you a story and I, I, I want to see if you.
- 2:27Remember Me? Hey everybody, how you doing?
- 2:30This is Timmy Witherspoon, former two time heavy weekend.
- 2:33That's right, one of the nicest guys.
- 2:35One of the nicest guys around. I don't know about nice.
- 2:38You got a heavy punch. My friends, but that has nothing
- 2:43to do with how you deal with people after.
- 2:45That's true. The fighting goes on.
- 2:47That's true. And by the way, he was the
- 2:49former heavyweight champion, two time heavyweight champion of
- 2:52world. So Tim, here's the story.
- 2:55I used me and my family used to go to the Poconos all the time.
- 2:58All I. Was up there training?
- 3:00Yes, you up there training and your family was up there and we
- 3:05stayed at one of the resorts and you were at one of the resorts.
- 3:08I didn't know who you were, but me, my father, my mother, my
- 3:11sisters and my brother, we were hanging out.
- 3:14There was a hot tub and everything like that.
- 3:16There was and you were there, you and your family, your kids.
- 3:20I met your son. He was a kid, he was a baby.
- 3:21You know what town? You know what town?
- 3:23I don't remember what town. It was a long, long time, Tim.
- 3:26It was like 30 years ago, man. I'm 43, I'm 43, you know, I,
- 3:32yeah, yeah. I was, it's like, dude, it was
- 3:35like 30 years ago. I was like 12 years old.
- 3:38It was a long time ago. It was in the 90s.
- 3:42It was in the 90s and you were still fighting.
- 3:44You were training out in the Poconos.
- 3:46And then you became, you were very friendly.
- 3:49And they were, they were stuff going on like events and stuff
- 3:52like that. You were telling us that let's
- 3:53meet. You were talking to my father.
- 3:55You were having a conversation. I was a big boxing fan at the
- 3:57time, so I I knew who you were and I was a smart nose, stupid
- 4:03little kid that was like, yeah, you know, and you kept telling
- 4:07us, come to the gym, you know, I'll show you how to hit the bag
- 4:10and all that stuff. I actually.
- 4:11You got a good memory. I do, man, I do.
- 4:15I remember you. But you meet a lot of people,
- 4:17man. I mean, come on.
- 4:18Yeah, yeah. You meet a lot of people.
- 4:21It doesn't matter if it's the Poconos, you could be Disney
- 4:24World. I'm Tim.
- 4:26Wetherspoon But you know, but but you know, I had a good
- 4:28defense. I had a good defense.
- 4:30I blocked a lot of punches in my face and I did really good and,
- 4:35and real quick the end of my career I started, you know, I've
- 4:39got I've got kids, grandkids and stuff and I just started to get
- 4:43in a little bit right now and I've never had there's something
- 4:46else is in your diet or is in something that you have maybe
- 4:49done before. But I didn't get hit with a lot
- 4:51of punches. But I'll be forgetting some
- 4:53stuff. All right, so I'm a boxing fan.
- 4:56And when you fought, when you fought there were 15 rounds,
- 5:00there weren't 12 rounds at some. Point but I did the last one.
- 5:04I did the last. 15 that's right, but you were you were fighting
- 5:07at a young age with with 15 rounds, which is completely
- 5:10different now. I think boxers are like honestly
- 5:13I'm I'm just going to say this boxers a lot of boxers are
- 5:16bitches. I I'm just, I'm just going to
- 5:19say it, say. That again.
- 5:21I think a lot of the boxers now are bitches, all right?
- 5:24That's what I think. That's what I.
- 5:26Think right. Now, right now, I think the
- 5:28boxers were much more tougher in the 80s.
- 5:31If I go, if I go through some of the great boxes of first of all,
- 5:35Sugar Ray Leonard is my favorite fighter, my favorite fighter.
- 5:38And Sugar Ray. Yeah, I met Sugar Ray a long,
- 5:41long time ago. It was like 10 years ago.
- 5:43I was at an event. He was signing autographs and I
- 5:45told him how much of a fan I was of his.
- 5:48And when he, The funny thing about him is he says that the
- 5:53boxers now these days are prima donnas.
- 5:56He says they are, they're not the same.
- 5:59They, they don't have that same killer instinct that the
- 6:02fighters were in the 80s and the 70s.
- 6:04And even in the 60s, they're, they're, they're pretty much run
- 6:09by the, the, the endorsements and the money.
- 6:12And it wasn't like that in the in the 80s and the, the, the
- 6:15boxers weren't making that kind of money and then.
- 6:17Give me 10 seconds. Give me 10 seconds.
- 6:20I the reason why I think it's like that is because a lot of
- 6:24the good trainers that had other good knowledges, all those good
- 6:28trainers that they wasn't there anymore.
- 6:31And then they had the new generation that didn't really
- 6:34communicate with the old generation.
- 6:36Some of them did. But that's what the problem is
- 6:40now they don't have the skills that the old guys at Slim
- 6:43Robinson, who is old, about four or five of them would be really
- 6:48sharp. Our teachers and now everybody
- 6:51just hold it out there, punch and you put this GO-1 fan, but
- 6:54that this holds out there playing, you know what I'm
- 6:57saying? So the difference in the
- 6:59trainers and the education with these boxers, like hold them,
- 7:02put their arm up there. We didn't do that, I think.
- 7:05I think hold your arm on the guys and hit them.
- 7:08Hold it and hit them We didn't do.
- 7:11That, well, the heavyweight division in the 80s, I mean, it
- 7:14was so much better than it is now.
- 7:15I mean, how many? All the way, yeah.
- 7:17Yeah, yeah, I I look at the heavyweight divisions when when
- 7:22you were fighting, you had guys like Riddick Bowe and.
- 7:25And you do had so many guys and. I was before.
- 7:29Yeah, I know. I know, I know, I know.
- 7:31But I'm saying in the 90s when everything started to transform
- 7:34from the 80s to the 90s, we talk about Mike Tyson was coming into
- 7:37the, you know, coming into the boxing world when you were at
- 7:39your, your highest point. So Mike Tyson was the youngest
- 7:42heavyweight champion of the world and, and really just drove
- 7:46people wear a skin him. I I know Mike because I believe
- 7:50it or not, I trained out of Mike.
- 7:51Tyson I know. Mike, too.
- 7:52Yeah, I know Mike. We, we OK.
- 7:54Yeah, I'm sure you're OK. I mean, I hope he doesn't bite
- 7:58your ear off. But he's much more calm now,
- 8:04reasonable now than, you know, when all this controversial
- 8:06stuff was going on in the past, Right.
- 8:08So he's really mellowed out, mellowed off, mellowed down.
- 8:11And just, he's really, every time I talk to him now, he's
- 8:14just really calm and, and talk nice.
- 8:17And I think he concentrates on his kids and stuff and stuff
- 8:20like that. Yeah.
- 8:20Which he always was. Yeah.
- 8:21Well, you could do. Me up, you know, Kimmy when we
- 8:25can, When we're not people. To me, I guess when you have a
- 8:32conversation with that guy, if he's not high, he's in another
- 8:34friggin world. And he is one of the funniest
- 8:38people when he tells a story. I've I've seen some of his
- 8:41documentary when he's up there telling a story he is one of the
- 8:44funniest. I'm going to go ahead.
- 8:47I can't wait, but I, I want to get into your career and I, I
- 8:50look. At your career saying you was
- 8:52talking about documentary, you got 10 seconds, you're the boss
- 8:54all. Right, I know.
- 8:55No, you're the boss. I'm interview with you.
- 8:59You you you may say something about a documentary.
- 9:03All right, so I, I've seen a load of Mike Tyson documentary.
- 9:07He's got like three of them and he has a comedy documentary and
- 9:10he goes into his life and, and he stands, you know, he's in
- 9:14front of a bunch of people and he's cracking jokes and he's
- 9:16telling stories and he goes through the fights.
- 9:18And there was one story that he told, he was telling the fans.
- 9:22He was telling one of the fights that he was getting in.
- 9:24He had such bad gas and I. Oh.
- 9:28Yeah, he had such bad gas and when he was walking, he was bad
- 9:33passing gas. He said that every time he was
- 9:35every time he was when he was walking, he was laying and
- 9:39people were looking at it. His, his hold, his whole group,
- 9:41his whole team was smelling something.
- 9:44They were like what? And Mike was like, I don't know
- 9:45where's that coming from, where it's coming from.
- 9:48Mike Tyson was one of the one of the most scariest people when
- 9:52you get into the ring with him. That's what everybody says by
- 9:55just by looking at him. But Mike Tyson was just as
- 9:57afraid as you were as as he was of you as you were of him.
- 10:02But he never, ever. Showed that to you.
- 10:03And you know that. So you tell the truth.
- 10:07You what? Yeah, you tell the truth.
- 10:08Your brother Anthony was 14 and over 14.
- 10:11Knockouts was his farm partner. And he's older than me.
- 10:16My brother's Anthony. He's late every week, 14, you
- 10:18know, 14 Knockouts. And he, you spy with Mike all
- 10:21the time. Go ahead.
- 10:23Yeah. So, so that he was talking about
- 10:25the story about his gas problem in in that specific match and he
- 10:29everybody was asking where was that smell coming from?
- 10:32Who was he fighting? Who was he?
- 10:33I don't. Remember I?
- 10:34I don't remember but. No, you got to remember when you
- 10:38come on the show. No.
- 10:40Listen your show. This, this brain needs to
- 10:43remember all this stuff during the show.
- 10:46I'm. Trying to be forgetting.
- 10:47I do be forgetting. Maybe I've been hit too many
- 10:49times. Maybe.
- 10:50I've been hit too many times to the head.
- 10:51I mean, I I have been boxing. Don't worry, Ted, we got to.
- 10:55We got. Real quick, give me 10 seconds.
- 10:57Good. There's this.
- 10:58There's this lady that was involved with some school.
- 11:01I was talking to her. I just now took it.
- 11:03I got, I got 10, I got 10 little things like flu, things like
- 11:09this and that. I'm giving myself a hit with it
- 11:12and it's all naturals. It's no chemicals and it's
- 11:15supposed to help my CBD, It's supposed to help my memory and
- 11:19stuff. So if you keep in touch with me,
- 11:22I can let you know who it is and what they're trying to do.
- 11:25So I got a whole package that just came in the middle of the
- 11:28day and I do be forgetting, but not as bad as some people.
- 11:32So I got like a 10 these little things like you squeeze and
- 11:36shoot it in and I and I got little bottles that I extract.
- 11:40I put the chemicals in the thing and shoot it.
- 11:43And so the day is the first day of the trial.
- 11:46What so I can bring try to bring my memory back.
- 11:48You need to keep in touch with me.
- 11:50So if it's positive, then you can help other boxers out.
- 11:54OK, Absolutely. You know, I like to squeeze
- 11:57things. I just don't.
- 11:58Hopefully I'm not squeezing something that's disgusting in
- 12:00my. Mouth, but a lot of boxes need
- 12:01to get in every. I'd be forgetting and I had a
- 12:04good defense. You had a good defense and you
- 12:07liked you were counterpuncher, you were good counterpuncher.
- 12:10So when we get into your boxing career, because there's a
- 12:12couple. Of are you, I'm sorry, I'm
- 12:14sorry, real quick, are you going to try to try to help with that
- 12:17if it does? Happen 100%.
- 12:20OK, I. I would love to help you.
- 12:23I would love and. I don't, I don't want to be
- 12:25automatic stuff. It would be automatic, you know.
- 12:28Yeah, I hear you. I hear you.
- 12:31What happened? What happened?
- 12:32Nothing happened. That's you right up there.
- 12:35Beautiful. Look at that.
- 12:38Why are we going to call Tim the Terrible?
- 12:40Okay, who gave you that? I know, I know what your name
- 12:45was. I'm throwing a curve.
- 12:47If I wasn't, if I wasn't a preacher, I'd be whipping your
- 12:50behind. Just don't tie me to a bag.
- 12:55I don't want to play pin the tail on the bag, OK?
- 12:58I don't want to be hit by you, my friend.
- 13:00Anyways, I mean, your career is is very interesting. 1 you had
- 13:0410 fights. I was looking at the back end of
- 13:07your. Career.
- 13:07What do you mean 10? Fights I, I, I'm looking at your
- 13:10top ten fights that I, I, I, I, I found in, in these, you know,
- 13:16in your career and you've had, you've had a very good career.
- 13:19And I, I look at your record right now and I don't know if
- 13:21anybody knows your record. So I'm going to, I'm going to
- 13:23tell you. So you got 69 fights, 55 wins,
- 13:2738 by K OS, 13 losses, 1 draw. So I, I got it right over here,
- 13:32right in front of my face. Now tell me, what was it like
- 13:36working with Don King? Well, I came from a background.
- 13:42I came, I'm going to listen. Let me, let me, let me fill it
- 13:46up. My mom, I had ten brothers and
- 13:49sisters. Well, I, I live with eight of
- 13:52them and my mom was my mom wasn't showing.
- 13:55My mom was the leader. Not not was no man that was a
- 13:58leader and that led me into that.
- 14:01Well, no, no, you was talking about what you say about Don
- 14:03King, right? Yeah.
- 14:04What was it? What was it like working with
- 14:07Don? King right was that yeah, so my
- 14:10mom set the pace for us to to be a certain way and, you know,
- 14:15instead of like biting his hair or breeding him up like Tyson
- 14:18Pus allegedly did you know, I dealt with him in on a calm way,
- 14:23you know, and I like that I like that.
- 14:25But he didn't do the right thing for for the boxers in terms of
- 14:30he made sure he made sure they had training.
- 14:32He made sure that smart partners there, he made sure his food was
- 14:35there. But in the end, the, the, the
- 14:39agreement wouldn't be the same, like the money and everything.
- 14:42So, and he had control, he had control of, of things.
- 14:47But deep down, 'cause I did a lot of stuff with him and deep
- 14:50down inside, you could tell he was, he was cool.
- 14:54But something led him to doodles like the management, the, you
- 14:59know, the agreements and stuff to do that 'cause I was, I was
- 15:03with him and I know he liked me. If you fight, he liked you, you
- 15:06know, if you didn't fight, he'd like, he's like, no, I'm not,
- 15:09you know, on that stuff. But I'm cool with that.
- 15:12No, I didn't expect to be heavyweight champ of the world
- 15:15two times. So I, I want to get into a
- 15:17couple of things in your career. Tell us a little bit about now
- 15:20your background is, is you used to train with Muhammad Ali when
- 15:25he fought Larry Holmes? Tell us a little bit about that
- 15:27story. Yeah, I was training up at the
- 15:30lake with Matthew Shot Muhammad and Eddie Must Stop Muhammad Two
- 15:34light heavyweights fest. That's where I started out when
- 15:37I was Amazon then turn pro. I was mainly around those two
- 15:41guys and Ali. Ali had had talking about Ali,
- 15:47right. OK, so I've been saying I think
- 15:51it was with Mustafa. I think it was a Mustafa or I
- 15:55think it was size. And then all these these cars
- 15:58pulled up in the camp up a deadly.
- 16:01All these cars pulled up like no, it's about 3 cars.
- 16:04They pulled up in their nice car and we was fine.
- 16:07And the guys came into the gym and it was Ali and I was like
- 16:12wow, the greatest of all time. He came in everything stopped
- 16:16and, and, and we started saying hi to him and shake his hand.
- 16:19He said hey, no, no, no, get back to work.
- 16:22He said go ahead and finish. He said go ahead and finish.
- 16:26And so we I started, I finished. I was like, I think it was my
- 16:29honey, but we finished and everything and then we went
- 16:32outside. We ate at in, in this camp in
- 16:35the, in the, in the with the eating quarters ad and we
- 16:38talked. I think he left a couple of days
- 16:41later, but that was a great experience for me to meet him at
- 16:45my very first time. Fly like a butterfly and sting
- 16:49like a bee. Like a bee.
- 16:51Like a bee. Listen, you better be careful.
- 16:54I might. Yeah, you better be careful.
- 16:57I might sting you like a bee, man.
- 16:59I might be very stingful. What's going on?
- 17:04We are talking to former heavyweight champion of the
- 17:07world two time. I just I just corrected myself.
- 17:15All right, Chip. All right, Tim, I So what was it
- 17:19like? Obviously you're one of your
- 17:21famous matches for the WBC Heavyweight title was against
- 17:25Larry Holmes. Tell us a little bit about Larry
- 17:27Holmes, What type of fighter Larry Holmes was?
- 17:30OK, so so we we we were offered to fight and I talked to my
- 17:37trainer. So I said Slim.
- 17:39Slim was a really hell of a trainer too.
- 17:41I said Slim a little too soon and he said 10 you want to whip
- 17:46his ass. And that's the way I was with
- 17:48Slim once we because I was with these other people and it wasn't
- 17:51as good as they were claiming. Booker.
- 17:53He was an older guy and and and you know, I was training at the
- 17:57gym as an amateur. I didn't know nothing about
- 17:59boxing. And then I started finding out
- 18:01about who's a good training and stuff like that.
- 18:04So but I met Slim. Wait a minute, we we're talking
- 18:10about right? Larry Holmes when you fought
- 18:12Larry Holmes. Oh, no, no, no.
- 18:14Yeah, I'm. I'm sorry.
- 18:15I got a little sorry. I.
- 18:16Got it. I got you.
- 18:18I'm here to help you. Man, so we was off with the
- 18:20Larry Holmes fight and Slim told me about him and he was in
- 18:25Center City Philly, where I managed.
- 18:28My manager had his office and scrutiny and I said I said, yo,
- 18:32Slim make that competition. He should tell me, you know what
- 18:34this behind. I said, OK, that's how much I
- 18:37believe in Slim. So we started training.
- 18:39He was in camp, I was chopping wood.
- 18:41I was boxing with goods farm partners.
- 18:44I was undefeated. And so we went.
- 18:48We, we can't, you know, we went to the fight to do a good job.
- 18:53And after the fight, I was like, you know what, They're not going
- 18:55to give it to me because I'm a young guy coming up and I have
- 19:00to do, we've got to do more than just beat that at home.
- 19:03I beat them. But you got to do more to
- 19:06convince him. And I found out later that's
- 19:08really what you got to do. You can't just do a little bit.
- 19:11You got to do more. And so I felt really good about,
- 19:15in my eyes, beating that at home.
- 19:18And then I'm went on moving on with the rest of my, you know,
- 19:21my career and my box career. But that was a good that was a
- 19:24really good part of my life fighting Harry Holmes, who
- 19:28really, really and and I put a little scratch on him, you know,
- 19:34young guy, put a little scratch and say, oh, wait a minute, Tim
- 19:37was going to beat you or, or, or won the fight.
- 19:40So so that was really good doing it against 111 of the best
- 19:46boxers and big boxers during that.
- 19:48Time so I obviously come from Philadelphia, PA and there are a
- 19:53lot of great fighters, some of the best, some of the greatest
- 19:55fighters of all time. Not Rocky because he didn't
- 19:57exist, but that was just a movie.
- 19:59But. Well, I'm trying to get a fight.
- 20:01I'm trying to get a fight with him to prove who's the real two
- 20:03times in the league. Champion the world you want to
- 20:06fight. And he ain't the real two.
- 20:12I'm the real two time have we can't from Philly.
- 20:15Let's get it on. Let's.
- 20:16Get it all. Get.
- 20:18It all. Let's get ready.
- 20:21All right, But I tell. I walked the red carpet.
- 20:26I walked the red carpet with him and Michael Azahol in Vegas when
- 20:30they had a they had an event over there.
- 20:33I was with the master Stallone and he's real two time and and
- 20:37television and I'm the real two time in real life.
- 20:40And a lot of people don't know that, but it was fun.
- 20:43He treated me good. We was friends.
- 20:45I mean, and you know, he was somewhere else because he was
- 20:47busy, but me being a man with him during that time really made
- 20:53me feel really good. Now everybody knows who Joe
- 20:57Frazier is, and Joe Frazier is one of the greatest.
- 21:00Philadelphia fighters. I know, I know, and that's what
- 21:03I wanted to get into. Tell us a little bit about how
- 21:06great of a person Joe Frazier is.
- 21:07We know how great of a fighter he was, but what type of person
- 21:10was he in and out of the ring? Listen man, Joe was a really
- 21:14nice guy. Never cheated me, never treated
- 21:16me negative. I've never seen him really
- 21:19getting negative with anybody. And I was really fascinated over
- 21:27the fact that he used to say call me with him when I see I
- 21:30started going to his gym. You know, I lost to his son as
- 21:34an amateur when I turned pro. I think that the fight would
- 21:36have been really hard on him. So, but I started going to Joe's
- 21:40gym and Joe used to call me with him.
- 21:43Yay, whatever. What's going on?
- 21:45How you doing? Come on, we keep going, you
- 21:47know, and you know, I, I would start to go to Joe's for about a
- 21:50couple of months and then I was in, I was in England somewhere.
- 21:54I was in a fight with one of Joe's manager, a black guy, I
- 21:58can't remember his name. And I was talking to him.
- 22:01I felt really proud. I was like, hey, man, Joe called
- 22:04me with him, man, you know that. That's cool.
- 22:07He got a special name and his lawyer said, yeah, he call you
- 22:11Wither because he don't know how to say Witherspoon.
- 22:14Everybody started laughing. I was like, you mean tell me he
- 22:18can't say no? He said no.
- 22:20That's why he said Wither, because he can't say
- 22:22Witherspoon. Isn't that something?
- 22:27Now I I want to. Finish up with you.
- 22:29Isn't that something though? Isn't that something?
- 22:31He used to call me Wither all the time.
- 22:34Can I call you Wither? Can I call you wither?
- 22:35Huh. Can I call you wither?
- 22:38I'm going to call you with her. I'm going to call you sweet
- 22:40with, you know, I'm going to call you sweet with her or I'm.
- 22:44Going to I'm. Going to I'm going to call you
- 22:49plenty of whiff, plenty of whiff.
- 22:59They got to. They'll do a documentary of you.
- 23:01They'll call it plenty of whiff. Plenty of whiff, plenty of.
- 23:11I want to finish up with you. OK, so you've been away?
- 23:14From boxing. You've been away from boxing for
- 23:16a while, all right. You watch the boxing, you watch
- 23:20boxing now and I'm a big boxing fan.
- 23:22Is there a particular fighter that you have watched over the
- 23:26last couple of years that you love to watch?
- 23:28And is there any fighter, even if they're, you know, offset
- 23:32from from a heavyweight division, they could be, you
- 23:36know, a lightweight or welterweight?
- 23:38Is there a particular fighter that reminds you?
- 23:42Reminds that them? Reminds you of you?
- 23:48Not really. No, No, no, no.
- 23:53Not really. Not really.
- 23:55There's a couple of boxers. There's a couple of boxers that
- 24:00really, you know, shine the light on, but when I was when I
- 24:05was boxing, there was a whole lot of boxers that got shined on
- 24:07every. It was middle weight, light head
- 24:10weights, lightweights or heavyweights, cruiserweights.
- 24:13It was everywhere. Now you could see them on
- 24:16different. You got Bird Crawford and I
- 24:19guess you got to name the rest. I mean, but during my during my
- 24:23time in before me and a little bit after me, you knew guys in
- 24:27different weight classes and they showed tickets who were big
- 24:31fights on television. But now you don't see that.
- 24:34You just see Bud Crawford who I respect Bud Crawford I respect,
- 24:38but I don't see the skills that I was taught.
- 24:42And a lot of guys should rate 9 of time in our in our area.
- 24:46You know, I don't see the skills that.
- 24:48Yeah. And but he did the job.
- 24:50And plus, his opponents are not like the opponents that Sugar
- 24:54Ray Leonard and Tom Herring had. So, you know, we really have to
- 24:59get together and talk about that issue because.
- 25:02Yeah, because Bug Crawford, oh, you got to give him the credit.
- 25:07But there's a lot of things that I wouldn't do that he'd do.
- 25:10But his opponents are not like the Sugar Ray Leonard and Tommy
- 25:14Herring's opponents. You know, they're not mean and
- 25:16green and know a lot of stuff like these new guys opponent.
- 25:19So that's where I get my, my, my, my, my situation.
- 25:24You know, the way I think about what's going on, you know, you
- 25:28had good or better. I'm not going to say better.
- 25:30Shame plenty of with. Plenty of We did have better
- 25:34change. We did have better.
- 25:35Change. Yes, absolutely.
- 25:37All right, Final question, favorite place to fight?
- 25:40I know you fought at Madison Square Garden, You fought at
- 25:43Wembley Stadium. Where is your favorite place to
- 25:45fight? My favorite place to fight.
- 25:51Whoa, why you asking the champion?
- 25:53Let me see. I'm trying to ask.
- 25:55Him. I'm trying to throw you a
- 25:56curveball. Hold.
- 25:58On Hold on, Mr. Champion. I mean, I've seen you do so many
- 26:03interviews. I've seen you.
- 26:04Nobody asks you these questions. I'm asking you these questions.
- 26:08I throw you a curveball and you can't answer it.
- 26:11What's going on here? Do we have to get into a ring?
- 26:13Do we have to go 8 rounds? I don't even know if I could go
- 26:168 rounds. Let's go 2 routes.
- 26:17Well, I'll tell you one thing. You get in the ring with me,
- 26:20I'll hang a sign over your eyes staying closed for the weekend.
- 26:23OK. Yeah, Yeah, that's right.
- 26:27You. Yeah, you said I will hang a
- 26:30sign over your eyes saying clothes for the weekend.
- 26:34Now, how you like that? Yeah.
- 26:36Yeah. I mean, he's cool.
- 26:37But when it comes to be, if you have to get the ring, I'm
- 26:41hanging the sign. That's right.
- 26:52I got to go back off. Now Errol has a fight with Jake
- 26:59Paul's schedule. Jake Paul's is waiting for him
- 27:01to turn 50. That's the word no, we'll fight
- 27:13with. It it is, it is messing up
- 27:15boxing a little bit. Jake Paul moving in like there
- 27:19in the big fights. I think that that the, I don't
- 27:22know, the commissioners got to get busy or whatever is going
- 27:26on. But that's a different type of
- 27:28boxing. But it's also is hurting the
- 27:30regular boxing a little bit. Baseball can't beat nobody in
- 27:34the top 20 and regular heavyweights he can't.
- 27:40If I get in there. If I get in there 67, he can't
- 27:44beat me. Jake Paul.
- 27:45Couldn't beat a deaf mute. Please.
- 27:48But, but, but listen, I do like, I do like some of his movement,
- 27:52but he's not a real boxer. Yeah, he's an entertainer.
- 27:56He's an entertainer and he's going for money.
- 27:59And boxers are fighting for money.
- 28:01But mainly a lot of the real boxers fighting to win that
- 28:04fight. They know that money's coming.
- 28:06But Jake Paul is about money first.
- 28:09You got money 1st. And, and there's a little to me,
- 28:12it's a little difference in that, you know, 'cause you love
- 28:15boxing, you want to, you want to do the right things, you want to
- 28:18get in good shape, you want to have all your people happy when
- 28:22you win. Jake Paul is doing it for money
- 28:24He don't care about. Look, I like Jake Paul, you
- 28:28know, I like, I don't want to be upset with me, but I'm trying to
- 28:30see. I want him to be hey.
- 28:32I want him to be upset with me. I will stain them like steel,
- 28:36baby. I will stain them like steel.
- 28:38He will eat these fists. He will suck on these fingers.
- 28:42I'm sorry, I just had to say that.
- 28:44Well, he did a good job by getting that money and and they
- 28:49did slow down a couple of a little bit of the the regular
- 28:53boxing, you know, and I don't know if the commissioners
- 28:57sanctioned to fight the ones that we fight for, because if
- 29:00they did, they're doing it for the money and not and you know
- 29:04what the hell you're doing it for the money.
- 29:05But in the line you got to draw, you got to draw this line
- 29:08between real boxing and these kinds of boxing and they took
- 29:12the money. So I don't know.
- 29:14You know, I don't know. So.
- 29:17You know what? How about this?
- 29:19Timmy, Timmy, you could be my promoter.
- 29:21All right, This is what we'll do.
- 29:23You're my promoter. Let's get this fight with Jake
- 29:25Paul. You train me, I'll trade for
- 29:29three months and I'll whip his ass.
- 29:31Right off you got a heavyweight. You got a heavyweight.
- 29:34What are? You kidding me?
- 29:35Are you kidding me? I'm 210.
- 29:37I, I, I could go up to heaven. Listen, I could fight at his
- 29:40weight right now. I think he fought recently at
- 29:43what, 210? I'm 2O52O6 so I could fight him.
- 29:47Oh, he was. He was 210.
- 29:49Yeah, I could kick his ass, man. I'll throw.
- 29:51Him off, man. I'm going to tell you something.
- 29:53I'll know some good stuff and I'm not even worried about it.
- 29:58If you, if you, if you had to fight with him, I guarantee you
- 30:02don't get it. I don't even worry about it.
- 30:05Let's I know I'm good. I know we do it.
- 30:08Let's set it up. Let's set it up.
- 30:09Let's do it me. And you let's figure it out.
- 30:12You have to figure it out. Why do I?
- 30:14Have to figure it out. I, I I'm picking you.
- 30:16You're my promoter. Set it up.
- 30:18We don't have no console. I will wipe the floor with
- 30:22Chris, whatever his name is. Jake Paul.
- 30:24I'll knock. I'll knock.
- 30:26His block in his one jaw was cracked or two packs.
- 30:30I'll crack three of them. I'll crack his wraps.
- 30:36Let's. Set it up.
- 30:38I'd set it up, me and you. We won't have no deal,
- 30:40Holyfield. Listen.
- 30:40I listen. I don't want to bite his ear
- 30:43like Holyfield, OK? Yeah, OK.
- 30:53But anyways, that's the way it's supposed to be, man.
- 30:55People were supposed to have fun, you know, and push forward
- 31:00and and push your love and fun on everybody else.
- 31:03So everybody because this world is not really in a good shape.
- 31:08It's time for love to start, right.
- 31:10We are better than them bad people, everybody.
- 31:14We got to love each other and and it's wrong.
- 31:17All these children that dying in different countries, that is
- 31:22really they don't care about these people don't care about
- 31:24it, you know, and it's wrong. We got to we got to love each
- 31:28other. I suppose somebody come from
- 31:31another, another planet. That's the only thing going to
- 31:35put it together. That's the only thing to put
- 31:38everybody to me. I'm from another planet to whip.
- 31:41Our eggs. I'm from another planet.
- 31:45OK, and this is this is from. Another planet.
- 31:50Yes, I am. I'm an alien.
- 31:51Everybody says that on this show.
- 31:53They think I'm crazy. Who was he drinking?
- 31:55Thunderbird? I don't.
- 31:56Know what? I don't drink, so if you want me
- 31:59to drink something, you know I. Don't know?
- 32:01You sure you don't drink? You know what I'm?
- 32:03Saying I don't drink, man. I don't drink.
- 32:05That's cool. I'm not a drinker, man.
- 32:07Alcohol is not really good. Alcohol is really.
- 32:09Good for you. Smelling somebody's ass is not
- 32:12good for you, but a lot of people do.
- 32:13It yeah, you right? Yeah, no, you right.
- 32:18Oh, you right. You know, we got kids, we got
- 32:24kids, we got kids dying everywhere, people getting hurt.
- 32:28And you know, I don't have no time for the other stuff, but
- 32:31I'm concerned about all the miss miss the things that's not
- 32:34really going right in this world, you know, and and to me,
- 32:39it's a shame. We all came from somewhere that
- 32:42was close together. You know, I don't care what your
- 32:45skin color is, but we had to come from somewhere.
- 32:50We had to come from somewhere together, man.
- 32:53And then that thing branched off.
- 32:55But the bottom line is that hurting people.
- 32:57I don't, I don't want to have nothing to do with that.
- 33:00I love everybody. I'm just tired of it.
- 33:03I'm not going to go crazy. I have to work out every day.
- 33:06I'm taking care of my daughter and I eat right, I make sure
- 33:10she's right. I keep in touch with my mom, my
- 33:13family and and it's really bad what's going on.
- 33:16These people with money, they want the money before somebody
- 33:20like, you know, if I had all that money, I will make the
- 33:24whole world. You know what's going on.
- 33:26If somebody come from another world like Mars somewhere and
- 33:30try to whip our ass, I. Just hold you up from another
- 33:32planet. That's the only thing.
- 33:38That's the only thing is going to bring this together.
- 33:42If somebody come from real quick, give me 5 seconds.
- 33:46If somebody come from another world, that's the only way it's
- 33:50going to bring everybody together.
- 33:52We have to fight them all. That's the only way.
- 33:56It could be another way, it could be another way.
- 33:59But but if somebody come from another country, that would pull
- 34:03everybody in America together. But in the meantime, we just got
- 34:07to do it, man, who's wrong we got.
- 34:10To do it. That's it.
- 34:11Got to do it, just do it. Finished off go just do it.
- 34:13I just got it. Just do it.
- 34:15We're going to do it. We're going to do it like Nike.
- 34:17Just do it. Just do it.
- 34:19Finish it off. We're going to just do it, Nike.
- 34:22Just do it. Just do it.
- 34:26What you mean? I'm just saying, you were saying
- 34:28just do it. So I was saying like, let's do
- 34:30it like Nike, Just do it. Yeah, that's true.
- 34:34So if you don't feel it, I mean I can understand.
- 34:37Listen, I feel it every night, man, When it's in my hand, when
- 34:41I'm pulling, you know? I feel it every night, my
- 34:44friend. But we love you, Timmy.
- 34:46I love you, man. I want to talk to you, Offset.
- 34:48Let's talk. On the phone next time we got to
- 34:52we got to make sure and look. I got to get the laptop ready,
- 34:56but next time we got to get the the the video right.
- 35:02I think I might have a a wrong part and I don't know I got my
- 35:05phone but the connection is not ready.
- 35:08So next time we do something, I'm going to try to put these
- 35:12last times, about three of them and put them in the shop because
- 35:15I was doing that, I was doing these type of things every every
- 35:20couple of days and stuff like that with several different
- 35:23people. And then I stopped for a while
- 35:27and and I'm starting to do little ones like we doing this
- 35:30and it's not little. But hold on, Timmy, you, you,
- 35:31we're not little man. You're not.
- 35:34We're a top. 200 Show in the country, Tim.
- 35:38I'm sorry and listen, listen, I'm looking at my phone and my
- 35:45phone is little. That's why I'm saying it.
- 35:48If I had a laptop, if I had a laptop with a big mirror, I
- 35:51probably. So no, that's just doesn't
- 35:53matter of me speaking, I know. What?
- 35:56You're doing, man. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 36:00I know. And I looked in this year my
- 36:04phone and I see how your show was set up and this show is
- 36:08legit. It's legit and it's cool.
- 36:10I said, oh, wow, you got you got you know, you got the pictures
- 36:14of he talking to somebody while I'm waiting.
- 36:17That's beautiful. No, it's the first time we all
- 36:20right. We OK, We love.
- 36:22You. Tim and I will talk to you soon.
- 36:24Hey, I love you too. So what we going to do?
- 36:27Because I'm gonna. I'm gonna go.
- 36:29I'm gonna go get some. Well, I've always cook.
- 36:32My daughter. She's from.
- 36:34I got five daughters, but the youngest one is from England.
- 36:38I went over England to the courts and you know, I went in
- 36:42for it. I had a lawyer and everything
- 36:43and I, I got her and she's been with me for 1515 years now.
- 36:48That's great. 15 years. Yeah.
- 36:50And she's from the UK and I got other kids.
- 36:54We OK. We I just was everybody that's
- 36:57trying to work together, a kid or poor and love each other.
- 37:02That skin color don't mean nothing to me.
- 37:05Let's go. Yeah, let's go on and try to
- 37:08help people and get the right people that love people in the
- 37:12right position. Thank you, Tim.
- 37:14That's all. We'll talk to you soon.
- 37:16Yeah, yeah. This may send me the information
- 37:19when you want to go on 'cause I'm gonna stop.
- 37:21I'm gonna start my new, my, my thing again.
- 37:24I'll be teaching boxing and everything.
- 37:25Let's do it. I'm going to reach out.
- 37:27To you, I'm going to reach out to.
- 37:29You just keep in touch, send me, send me some information so I
- 37:32can lock it in so I can remember OK.
- 37:34Absolutely. So we finished.
- 37:37Right. We're finished, Timmy.
- 37:39We're finished. We love.
- 37:40You. I love you man, keep in touch
- 37:44with me. We will, I will, I absolutely
- 37:45will. Bang, bang.
- 37:46As I always say, you know, Tim Witherspoon, what a wonderful, I
- 37:52listen, he had bad problems with his his phone and he admitted it
- 37:55to it. And I, I like him because he's
- 37:58straightforward. He's funny, he's energetic.
- 38:01It was funny. We were talking about like
- 38:03fights. And then he would like like,
- 38:04what did you say again? I I forgot what, what?
- 38:10I love him. He's great.
- 38:12It is awesome. I I love it like having a
- 38:15conversation with boxers because boxers are like they they'll get
- 38:19into conversations and they'll tell you stories and then
- 38:22they'll go back and they'll repeat it and it'll just like be
- 38:25another. It will be the same story, just
- 38:28like interviewed in a different way.
- 38:29So it's really, really cool. Tim, I love you, man.
- 38:32I I'm so excited, excited to move forward and and have a
- 38:35conversation off air with you. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 38:38we call this Savior Tears. Mom, what's one thing that you
- 38:42can? You can't talk to me about my
- 38:44sexual fantasies. It's not ideal, but if it's what
- 38:50it's not ideal, but if it's just not ideal.
- 38:52But if it is, what mean? You can't treble stamp a double
- 38:55stamp, You can't treble stamp a double stamp, boy, you can't
- 38:58dribble stamp a double stamp. But but you guys.
- 39:02Now it's time for save your tears, butt plug all.
- 39:07Right guys, welcome back to save Your tears, everyone's favorite
- 39:14salary cap fantasy game. Speedy PD was the regular season
- 39:18champ. I gotta go back off now.
- 39:20But it's the postseason now, speedy, and you are going to
- 39:23have to defend that. Crown you.
- 39:25Do get an advantage. The advantage is you get to
- 39:29decide the order of who's going in another tow Jack but also
- 39:34Speedy as the regular season champion and Errol.
- 39:38I decided to do this as executive producer.
- 39:40This makes Speedy gets three extra dollars to spend.
- 39:45How? Nice.
- 39:48All right, there we go. So here it is.
- 39:51Let's bring up and we got the games for you.
- 39:53Let me just go through them. Breaking news so we can take a
- 39:55look. I need a.
- 39:58Right here. Again, this is the part of the
- 40:01show where I remind you if you can't see what we have up on the
- 40:03screen. Breaking news Goody has no
- 40:06Woody. That's not that's not on the
- 40:09screen, just so you know. But Goody is here and he's going
- 40:12to be playing tonight. He's ready for the playoffs.
- 40:16We are on video all over the Internet.
- 40:19You can find us on social media. We have all these shows, the
- 40:22full live shows, the four hour shows housed on YouTube.
- 40:25Come check us out there. And we're also on Apple and
- 40:28Spotify in both audio and video. So you can see what we're doing
- 40:33on the screen. Here we are.
- 40:34If you're not looking at $5 quarterback this week is Flynn,
- 40:37followed by potential this year MVP Drake May at $4.00.
- 40:41Possible comeback player of the year.
- 40:45They're saying for Trevor Lawrence at 3, Jalen Hurts 2 and
- 40:49Brock Purdy get at a discount, perhaps against maybe a good
- 40:53defense for a Dolar side. Herbert out of this one coming
- 40:58back from the injury. Running back CMC was the leading
- 41:01fantasy point getter. Mercedes $5, followed by James
- 41:05Cook, the leading rusher, then Saquon Barkley, Travis Etienne
- 41:09Junior and Omarion Hampton for a dollar.
- 41:11Can't wait. It.
- 41:13Wide receiver one and two, we decided to go really kind of
- 41:16weak here at receiver. Surprisingly with these three
- 41:19games. A.J.
- 41:20Brown and Devonta Smith are going to the $5 players over
- 41:23there. Stefan digs in the news for all
- 41:26the wrong reasons, of course, as we talked about last show for
- 41:29$4.00. Parker Washington, the standout
- 41:32here for probably the top target for Mr. Trevor Lawrence for
- 41:38$4.00 JA, Juan Jennings for three on one side, Keyshawn
- 41:41Bodie for three on the other, Ladidi Mcconkey or Lad Mcconkey
- 41:47for $2.00 Quentin Johnson. Those are a couple of receivers
- 41:50there on the same team. Again, Chargers kind of hit or
- 41:53miss seasons there. And talking about hit or miss
- 41:55Brian Thomas, Junior Errol you can get for a dollar tonight,
- 41:59and Khalil Shakur, the only Bills receiver.
- 42:01On this list is. A dollar as well at tight end,
- 42:05George Kittle, I think future Hall of Famer at $5, Hunter
- 42:09Henry for four, Dallas Goddard for three, Dalton Kincaid for
- 42:13two and Brenton Strange for a buck.
- 42:17Speedy, what's the order? We're going to start it off with
- 42:21Mr. Nissan. No, Drake May the quarterback
- 42:27cooch and then we're going to go James Cook Snatch Brian Thomas,
- 42:35junior titties. I'm going to go booty Ram Jam.
- 42:44Booty, how'd I know you were going to do that?
- 42:49And then I'm going to go. Dalt, I'm going to go.
- 42:52Dalton, wait. How?
- 42:53Much money does he have? He's got 8912.
- 42:58You have $3.00 left. Yeah, OK.
- 43:02You know, I'm going to go. I'm going to save money, so I'm
- 43:04going to go. Dalton Kincaid pound me out
- 43:07well. Java's not here, so somebody
- 43:08else had to get the booty. I, I, I appreciate the fact that
- 43:13you're so thrifty. I need a blowback.
- 43:16BTJ Booty and Kincaid Speedy, Who's up next?
- 43:22Tommy. Tommy, this makes my pecker
- 43:25hard. I'm going to be bold.
- 43:27I'm going to go $1.00. Brock Purdy, He tastes himself.
- 43:32Then give me. CMCI gave up the booty there.
- 43:37Now this is where I'm like. I'm going to go Latimer Conkey.
- 43:40I'll let you lick my butt. But this is where I don't know.
- 43:42I'm thinking give me devante. Doesn't he look like Dracula?
- 43:49And that should have me with. How many how much dollars?
- 43:53I have like $2.00 left and seven.
- 43:56Purdy's 8 and CMC is 13 yet. So then just give me Kincaid.
- 44:00Yeah, because the word jizz is really structured.
- 44:04That's an old one. All right, so I got Purdy, CMC,
- 44:09Ladidi, the Vanta. And who's next?
- 44:14Speedy. All right, I'll.
- 44:15Actually go next. I have 18 with the three extra
- 44:17$3. 18 Which? I'm actually going to use, I'm
- 44:20not crazy about any of the receivers, so I'm actually going
- 44:22to use five on each of the other three positions going to be
- 44:24Allen, CMC, Kittle with Mcconkey and Shakira.
- 44:30Allen, CMC. Trims or not?
- 44:36Ladidi and Shakur, anyone? And what did you do?
- 44:43You went kittle. Yep, tight end, tight end
- 44:46running back in quarterback are all $5 and they went lower with
- 44:49the receipts because they knew his tongues.
- 44:51All right, gotcha. So Josh Allen, CMC Ladidi,
- 44:55Shakur Kittle with your bonus 3 from winning the regular season.
- 45:00All right, who's next? All right, goody, your return to
- 45:03save your tears the goods. Drop Allen CMC, Dalton Kincaid.
- 45:15I've got you. Got 3 laughs.
- 45:16How much? Does he have left 3 for this?
- 45:18Girl Rod Mcconkey and Khalil Shakur.
- 45:25I have. No clue.
- 45:27All right, goodie. I got Shakur and Kincaid.
- 45:33He. Basically has my team without
- 45:34my. He basically has my team without
- 45:36my extra $3. All right.
- 45:41I don't try. I'm assuming you want me to go.
- 45:44Yes, All right. I don't trust the Bills defense
- 45:50this year. I'm thinking it's going to be a
- 45:51shootout. Give me Trevor Lawrence in this
- 45:55game and Travis Etienne and I because I think I expect a
- 45:59touchdown pass to Etienne, probably some point in that
- 46:02game, as well as probably a rushing touchdown.
- 46:06I like at receiver. Nobody on this list.
- 46:14That's why I went cheaper at that session.
- 46:17Yeah, so I'm gonna, I don't want to take the same guy everyone's
- 46:22taken, but that's usually a decent strategy if you do that
- 46:28because it cancels out in case. So what, a threesome.
- 46:31Stefan Diggs, though I feel like Mr. Diggs.
- 46:36A lot of hot ladies. Dirt and all those other nasty
- 46:39things we're. Going to breaking news, I need
- 46:41Brittany over. So now I've got 6 left I want
- 46:49Hunter Henry. I love Lisa Ann.
- 46:53And Quentin Johnson. Suck my indo.
- 46:57All right, so I got Trevor and Diggs, Quentin and Henry Droba.
- 47:01All right, Errol, what you got? Droba Pass Liquor.
- 47:05All right. I'm going to go Jalen Hertz.
- 47:10I'm going to go. Let's see.
- 47:13I'm going to go Saquon. I'm going to go A.J.
- 47:17Brown, 5 left. You got.
- 47:23Not, not a feeling. The 49ers in this one, huh?
- 47:27No. I'm going to go with Mr. Booty.
- 47:36And how many do I have left? Two.
- 47:37I'm going to go with Dalton Kincaid.
- 47:41All right, I got you at Kincaid, Booty, Brown, Saquon and Hertz
- 47:50taking a whole bunch of eagles in that 49ers Eagles match up.
- 47:54Let's just. Scoop.
- 47:55Sits on the sitter and pull up the full deal so we could just
- 48:01take a look at the board again. We'll go over this next week.
- 48:05Here it is. What you can see, it looks like
- 48:07we have a couple of Josh Allen's.
- 48:09Everyone kind of took different quarterbacks though.
- 48:11Running back three CMC. So half of us took CMC, half of
- 48:15us took Lad Mcconkey, half of us took actually kind of split
- 48:20here. A couple of booties, a couple of
- 48:22Shakur's, a whole bunch of Kincaids.
- 48:25We'll see what happens if you don't like the results so you
- 48:28can't cry about it. You got to save your tears.
- 48:31I hope not. Thank you to Wes, thank you to
- 48:34the one and only guy we call Reno, Reno, Johnny for giving us
- 48:38their picks. Congratulations to Miami moving
- 48:40on to their national champion. Last time they went to a
- 48:42national championship was in the 90s.
- 48:45It's been a long time coming from Miami and Miami Hurricane
- 48:49football and they're going to get a chance to play either the
- 48:52Hoosiers or the Ducks Tomorrow. We will find out who is going to
- 48:57meet them in the national championship.
- 48:59And I I'm sure Lane Kiffin wasn't happy about this loss,
- 49:02that's for sure. Anyways, thank you to our
