Binance completes reserves snapshot, reports 95% recovery after hack
Binance has announced the completion of a new proof-of-reserves snapshot, enabling users to independently confirm that balances for ten listed assets are fully backed on a one-to-one basis. These assets include Bitcoin, Ether, Tether, BNB, Solana, USD Coin, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and Zcash. In its most recent recovery update, the exchange reported having covered approximately 95 percent of the assets impacted by the hack from last week using its own financial resources. The remaining five percent consists of less liquid tokens, which Binance is still in the process of obtaining.
