- 0:00Speaker 1: This has been and Ashley I Almost Famous in Depth. Hey, guys,
- 0:05Speaker 1: welcome to the Almost Famous podcast today. It's an in
- 0:08Speaker 1: depth one of our Bachelor Nation engaged couples, Kenny Brash
- 0:12Speaker 1: and Mauri Peppin. Hello, guys, welcome to the show. Hid
- 0:17Speaker 1: excited to be here. Give us a timeline here, Okay,
- 0:20Speaker 1: how long now has it been since you've gotten engaged?
- 0:25Speaker 1: It has been a year and nine ish months, almost
- 0:30Speaker 1: two years, almost two years together. It's fast, It's fast,
- 0:35Speaker 1: but slow, like when I think about it, like, yeah,
- 0:38Speaker 1: it has gone by fast, but also it's been almost
- 0:41Speaker 1: two years. Like how, I don't know how. I don't know.
- 0:44Speaker 1: That's crazy. I'm a figuring that you guys probably took
- 0:47Speaker 1: that first year to kind of date in real life
- 0:49Speaker 1: and then this year has been more of a wedding
- 0:51Speaker 1: planning year. Yeah, for sure. I think last year was Yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 1: it was pretty much just me moving in. I've been Yeah,
- 0:58Speaker 1: we've lived together for the year now, getting to know
- 1:02Speaker 1: Chicago and being here together, and then yeah, I think
- 1:05Speaker 1: we started really wedding playing like end of last year,
- 1:08Speaker 1: November December. So yeah, yeah, that's so it goes. You
- 1:12Speaker 1: stay out of it, you just pull back as far
- 1:14Speaker 1: as you can until you're asked to enter in, and
- 1:16Speaker 1: then you still enter in very slowly, with very calculated opinions. Kenny,
- 1:22Speaker 1: you know we talked to you about this. I mean,
- 1:24Speaker 1: it's gotta been a year and a half ago now
- 1:26Speaker 1: when you first got engaged. But for you, life changed
- 1:29Speaker 1: pretty quick. Right. You had been single, you were you know,
- 1:32Speaker 1: you had your work in Chicago, you'd your place in Chicago.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Then you go on the show you find love, and
- 1:36Speaker 1: you get engaged, and now you enter in this whole
- 1:39Speaker 1: new season of having a partner. How is life I
- 1:43Speaker 1: guess looked differently to you. How have you transitioned into
- 1:47Speaker 1: no longer being the single? You know, promoter I think
- 1:50Speaker 1: would be the job title that you had to now
- 1:56Speaker 1: having a relationship. Well, going back to like the whole
- 2:00Speaker 1: weird thing for me is like it all started when
- 2:03Speaker 1: COVID started. It was like COVID started in obviously like
- 2:08Speaker 1: March twenty twenty, like the bar got shut down and
- 2:12Speaker 1: all that stuff, and it was like April of that
- 2:16Speaker 1: year is when I kind of got going through the
- 2:20Speaker 1: casting process for Bachelorette, and then like that happened and
- 2:25Speaker 1: it went straight into paradise and then like you said
- 2:29Speaker 1: it and went paradise, Mett Maury got engaged, and now
- 2:33Speaker 1: here we are twenty twenty three. So it's been it's
- 2:36Speaker 1: been kind of pretty wild that and it all coincides
- 2:40Speaker 1: with COVID, like everything's shut down and now I feel
- 2:44Speaker 1: like twenty twenty three, at least in my world and
- 2:47Speaker 1: the band entertainment world, we're actually experiencing like twenty nineteen
- 2:54Speaker 1: type numbers again for the bar and for the bands
- 2:58Speaker 1: and stuff, and it's like it all was like a
- 3:02Speaker 1: flash and now I'm back to like normal with work,
- 3:05Speaker 1: but we're also engaged and about to get married as well,
- 3:09Speaker 1: so it's it's been kind of trippy. I guess the
- 3:14Speaker 1: way the time is just the way it all fell together. Um,
- 3:18Speaker 1: but you know, I'm yeah, it was a one eighty
- 3:22Speaker 1: uh life change for me from that point to hear,
- 3:27Speaker 1: but it's it's all for the better for me. I mean,
- 3:29Speaker 1: it's just I'm good with it. Like it's like it's
- 3:34Speaker 1: like I'm back to like where I was work wise,
- 3:36Speaker 1: but it's now we also have our thing going on
- 3:38Speaker 1: as well, so it's, yeah, why do I remember that
- 3:44Speaker 1: you just really weren't like a serious relationship guy. You
- 3:46Speaker 1: hadn't really had a ton in your past. Yeah, going
- 3:50Speaker 1: back to uh yeah before Bachelor read it was pretty
- 3:53Speaker 1: much not a whole lot going on for a long time. Yeah,
- 3:57Speaker 1: So it's definitely a different, a whole different way in
- 4:01Speaker 1: life at this point. So, Mari, how has he transitioned
- 4:05Speaker 1: into couple Kenny and not single guy? Well, I mean
- 4:10Speaker 1: I can say as far as couple Kenny, he's a
- 4:13Speaker 1: great partner. I don't but I didn't really know him
- 4:19Speaker 1: as single Kenny, So I'm not entirely sure. But from
- 4:23Speaker 1: what he's told me and when his family's told me, like,
- 4:25Speaker 1: it's true, he was never really a great relationship guy.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I mean he maybe had a couple like short things,
- 4:31Speaker 1: but nothing there was like one that got kind of
- 4:34Speaker 1: like semi serious or whatever, but they didn't like her anyway.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So just you fell into it. You just you know,
- 4:42Speaker 1: once you find your right person, doesn't matter whether you
- 4:44Speaker 1: have a relationship experience or not. That's how I found it.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I agree, Yeah, Because I mean for someone who hasn't
- 4:51Speaker 1: been in a relationship or seriously with someone, never lived
- 4:53Speaker 1: with another person, I mean, at this point, I feel
- 4:56Speaker 1: like you never would have known that. So Maria, you
- 4:59Speaker 1: did mention you moved to Chicago, one of my favorite
- 5:01Speaker 1: places in the world, about two hours west of where
- 5:04Speaker 1: I grew up. So Chicago was the big city. Um
- 5:07Speaker 1: to my little small town in Indiana. What's what's the
- 5:11Speaker 1: transition been like? Um, this isn't your first winter there,
- 5:14Speaker 1: that's your this is your second winter there. The summers
- 5:16Speaker 1: are amazing, the winters are awful, brutal. So this winter
- 5:24Speaker 1: has been like the warmest ever. It's been wild. Yeah supposedly, Yeah, No,
- 5:30Speaker 1: it's actually it's sunny today, it feels nice, but yesterday
- 5:33Speaker 1: was like raining, thunderstorm, snowing, Like it's it's so weird.
- 5:36Speaker 1: But um, well, there were a couple of days where
- 5:40Speaker 1: it was like below zero wind chill, and I was like,
- 5:43Speaker 1: we're not going outside at all. No, no, But it's
- 5:47Speaker 1: been a good transition. Um. I visited plenty of times
- 5:51Speaker 1: before actually moving here. So when we were still you know,
- 5:53Speaker 1: in hiding or whatever, we would take turns and visit
- 5:56Speaker 1: each other. So I had been to Chicago a few times.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I'd met his family already, seeing you know, the apartment
- 6:02Speaker 1: we live in, the same building that he used to
- 6:03Speaker 1: live in before we got engaged, just in a bigger
- 6:07Speaker 1: unit now, so I was kind of like slowly getting
- 6:09Speaker 1: acclimated before. It was a fecial that I moved here anyway,
- 6:13Speaker 1: so it was like a nice gradual transition. But you're
- 6:16Speaker 1: absolutely right. The weather sucks in the winter. A big
- 6:19Speaker 1: fan of the summertime though. There's a lot to do
- 6:21Speaker 1: and we have to go down by the river and stuff,
- 6:23Speaker 1: which is nice. But yeah, I wasn't expecting the winter
- 6:27Speaker 1: to be so brutal. Yeah, but the summers are great.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Chicago is a great city. It's an incredible place. I
- 6:33Speaker 1: want to say, Chicago is still one of my favorite
- 6:37Speaker 1: cities in the US. It's just I wouldn't live there
- 6:40Speaker 1: because of the winter. Yeah. Ideal situation is like buy
- 6:45Speaker 1: a house in Puerto Rico and do half and half
- 6:48Speaker 1: or something in the future. Yeah. Well, speaking of Puerto Rico,
- 6:51Speaker 1: you guys are gonna have two weddings, one ceremony in
- 6:54Speaker 1: November in Puerto Rico and then another one a year
- 6:58Speaker 1: from now in March in Chicago. Yes, yeah, we got
- 7:02Speaker 1: it now, all right, So how are the weddings going
- 7:06Speaker 1: to be different? Is it double? The stress planning two
- 7:10Speaker 1: weddings is one more of a ceremony and one more
- 7:12Speaker 1: resumption tells everything. Yeah, so they're gonna be super different.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I feel like it's not double the stress right now
- 7:19Speaker 1: because we're kind of taking it one at a time.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So right now we're just planning and focusing on the
- 7:24Speaker 1: Puerto Rico wedding, but there will be a point of overlap,
- 7:27Speaker 1: like later in the summer slash Ball before our Puerto
- 7:32Speaker 1: Rico wedding, we're gonna have to start planning Chicago. So
- 7:35Speaker 1: there's gonna be like two at once. That's I'm still
- 7:38Speaker 1: going to be super stressful. Um, but in terms of differences, yeah,
- 7:42Speaker 1: Puto Rico is going to be more like a it's
- 7:43Speaker 1: just family, very close people, and it'll be very small comparatively.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And then the one in Chicago, it's going to be
- 7:50Speaker 1: like hundreds of people, all Bachelor nations invited. Like that's
- 7:54Speaker 1: the more party situation. Yeah, Chicago, it's gonna almost like
- 8:00Speaker 1: we're going to be at the venue that I work for,
- 8:02Speaker 1: So it will be a lot easier planning because it's
- 8:07Speaker 1: all kind of going to be done in the house. Uh.
- 8:11Speaker 1: We our place dones weddings already and we do big events.
- 8:14Speaker 1: It holds a lot of people, So a lot of
- 8:17Speaker 1: the planning that we have to do for Puerto Rico
- 8:19Speaker 1: won't have to happen too too much for Chicago. It
- 8:23Speaker 1: will really just be like a big party. Yet we
- 8:25Speaker 1: might even do like an eighties party. Oh that would
- 8:28Speaker 1: be fun and a very reminiscent of the eighties party
- 8:31Speaker 1: during your season. Yeah, yeah, prom exactly are you guys
- 8:47Speaker 1: going to even have a ceremony at the Chicago wedding? Um?
- 8:52Speaker 1: I don't think so. Maybe it's not like a full
- 8:58Speaker 1: ceremony like mark on the aisle, like bring their men
- 9:01Speaker 1: of that, but maybe the small like a like a
- 9:04Speaker 1: vow renewal or something. Because there are family members that
- 9:07Speaker 1: won't be able to make it to utter to his grandma,
- 9:08Speaker 1: for example, I won't be able to come, and we
- 9:11Speaker 1: want to do something small that's kind of like ceremony ish,
- 9:15Speaker 1: just for them to be able to see it, but
- 9:18Speaker 1: not like a full block down the aisle type of ceremony. Yeah, Kenny,
- 9:22Speaker 1: you're gonna learn that during this time of planning and
- 9:27Speaker 1: when questions are asked like is there going to be
- 9:29Speaker 1: a ceremony at this event, you just automatically inside like
- 9:32Speaker 1: stop talking, like you just started like, I have no opinion.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I want to do whatever's best and whatever needs to
- 9:38Speaker 1: be done. And that's the best thing you can do
- 9:41Speaker 1: right now is just to be a support system for
- 9:44Speaker 1: this big bay. Yeah, you're right, Yeah, I should have
- 9:47Speaker 1: just waited and reacted to whatever she's It's fine, it happened.
- 9:51Speaker 1: It will happen a ton more times. You'll be right. Uh,
- 9:54Speaker 1: you know, you're a year in nine months engaged now.
- 9:59Speaker 1: We love to talk about relationships and the progressive relationships
- 10:03Speaker 1: on this show. I don't want to assume that anything here,
- 10:07Speaker 1: but how have you kept the spark alive? Or does
- 10:09Speaker 1: it feel like you're in a different season now in
- 10:11Speaker 1: your relationship where that like initial kind of like excitement
- 10:16Speaker 1: eu fork love has now passed and you're entering into
- 10:18Speaker 1: a new, whole new stage. Kind of give us an
- 10:21Speaker 1: idea of where you're at, maybe what your struggles have been,
- 10:24Speaker 1: what things you've done to keep the love alive and
- 10:27Speaker 1: keep the love going strong. We're we've quickly entered our
- 10:34Speaker 1: old like we've been married for thirty years, go to bed,
- 10:41Speaker 1: see nothing. I think because we met and got engaged
- 10:47Speaker 1: on Paradise, it's a lot different than a normal couple
- 10:51Speaker 1: because it's it's so over the top on Paradise, like
- 10:56Speaker 1: you know, the dates and the atmosphere, you know, it's
- 10:59Speaker 1: all like shove together and quick period of time and
- 11:03Speaker 1: you experience a lot of stuff quickly, as opposed to
- 11:06Speaker 1: in real life where it's like you go on a
- 11:09Speaker 1: date every couple of weeks and you get to know
- 11:11Speaker 1: each other blah blah blah blah blah. So it's like
- 11:13Speaker 1: that spark stuff happened really fast because of Paradise. Not
- 11:17Speaker 1: to say that we don't have a spark and it's
- 11:20Speaker 1: still there, it just looks different, right, it's a different thing. Yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 1: I would agree with it. Yeah, I think like coming
- 11:28Speaker 1: off a paradise, but there's so much excitement not only
- 11:31Speaker 1: that you're engaged to someone that you're like in love,
- 11:33Speaker 1: but there's so much excitement also in terms of the
- 11:35Speaker 1: secrecy aspect. It's like, oh my god, I have the
- 11:37Speaker 1: secret that I can't tell anyone, and that kind of
- 11:40Speaker 1: mystery about it makes it even more exciting. And then
- 11:43Speaker 1: you get to see it on national television, which is
- 11:46Speaker 1: also super exciting. Um. So once that kind of passes,
- 11:49Speaker 1: it does quickly like not dissipate but it's like not
- 11:54Speaker 1: the same. But I think for us in terms of
- 11:56Speaker 1: keeping it alive, it's it's pretty easy. It comes naturally,
- 11:59Speaker 1: I think at least for me. We just have a
- 12:01Speaker 1: good routine and we have our like daily this is
- 12:04Speaker 1: what we do, this is how we are, and it
- 12:06Speaker 1: almost is like we've been married for thirty years at
- 12:08Speaker 1: this point because everything is just kind of routine and natural. Yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 1: it's it's a fun stage in a relationship. The spark
- 12:14Speaker 1: is still there, your commitment is still there. It just
- 12:17Speaker 1: looks different because yes, you maybe have learned more about
- 12:20Speaker 1: the person and you've gotten in a rhythm with them,
- 12:25Speaker 1: And that's for me, I was telling Ashley, Like, for me,
- 12:28Speaker 1: that's been the coolest part of my marriage is getting
- 12:31Speaker 1: in that rhythm and getting very comfortable in the same
- 12:34Speaker 1: house with somebody else. If anything, it's more exciting to
- 12:37Speaker 1: me sometimes. Yeah, And you guys started out living together,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you know, in Paradise, so you've got to know so
- 12:44Speaker 1: much about each other so quickly that like that discovery
- 12:48Speaker 1: couple a few months isn't as long. Yeah, So you guys,
- 12:54Speaker 1: how has it been as far as your schedule, Because
- 12:56Speaker 1: you talk about like kind of having your rundown of
- 12:58Speaker 1: your day. But Kenny has an interesting job where he
- 13:01Speaker 1: works a lot of nights and you are probably surrounded
- 13:05Speaker 1: by like lots of girls at the same time. Marie,
- 13:08Speaker 1: do you You're just like, nah, you can you just
- 13:12Speaker 1: go to work. You go to work and I'm gonna
- 13:15Speaker 1: But it's funny you say that because lately, so she's
- 13:19Speaker 1: been going to a lot pretty much shows. You don't
- 13:24Speaker 1: go to work with him every night, right, Well, I don't.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I don't. I only go. I work from home mostly, Okay,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I go. We'll go to certain shows that we'll go
- 13:33Speaker 1: when you're doing manage when you're like all your management
- 13:35Speaker 1: stuff is from home, and then you go to the yeah,
- 13:38Speaker 1: the chefs guy. Yeah, so mostly like a boy by
- 13:41Speaker 1: night show, yeah stuff, And she'll go with most of
- 13:43Speaker 1: the time. Um, we've been doing these Taylor Swift dance
- 13:47Speaker 1: parties now where I'm like, amazing Swift stuff whatever. To
- 13:53Speaker 1: be honest, the girls are anybody that's there usually want
- 13:58Speaker 1: to talk to her more than me. Anyways, I can
- 14:04Speaker 1: relate to that. It's all with Jared Hayes. You know,
- 14:07Speaker 1: Jared hates it. It's always like Jared, we love you,
- 14:09Speaker 1: but where's Ashley? So nice? So that's fun, Marie, have
- 14:15Speaker 1: you gotten more into boy band music? Because if Kenny,
- 14:17Speaker 1: because you know, I have to ask, I am boy
- 14:19Speaker 1: band queen. Um, well, you know what, Like I my
- 14:23Speaker 1: parents used to listen to all of that kind of stuff,
- 14:25Speaker 1: New kids on the blog, yeah, and seeing Backstreet Boys
- 14:28Speaker 1: all of it. And then they also do like more
- 14:31Speaker 1: of the younger boy band stuff, so like Jonahs Bose,
- 14:34Speaker 1: which I'm a huge fan of. Um they do one
- 14:36Speaker 1: direction and all that. So so yeah, it's kind of
- 14:38Speaker 1: it's kind of my jam. I'm so jealous. That is
- 14:41Speaker 1: like the most fun job ever. The shows are a
- 14:45Speaker 1: lot of fun. You've got to come to one. Whenever
- 14:48Speaker 1: I'm in Chicago, I will come to one. Yeah, imagine
- 14:51Speaker 1: we should probably bring one of the bands to Audrey's.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Oh my god, do it because they're mostly like boy band.
- 14:57Speaker 1: They're like boy band cover bands. Right, it's one yeah,
- 15:00Speaker 1: so it's one band. It's a full band, seven piece band.
- 15:05Speaker 1: There's three singers who will replicate the boy bands, but
- 15:09Speaker 1: they're too the band playing all the music behind it
- 15:11Speaker 1: literally too cool. That's amazing. They do the dance they do, Yeah,
- 15:17Speaker 1: they do choreography. Everything. This is Ashley's dream, absolute dream.
- 15:26Speaker 1: They do bye bye bye like one of the iconic dances. Yeah,
- 15:32Speaker 1: sync dance, they do a dirty pop, they do the dance.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Most of the stuck out of the record. What a
- 15:38Speaker 1: fun time? Yeah, well most of the stuff, like most
- 15:40Speaker 1: of the songs, I would know a step or two,
- 15:43Speaker 1: step by step. Yeah. Check out Ashley's Instagram. She just
- 15:47Speaker 1: recently posted her dancing to some of these videos. It's
- 15:52Speaker 1: not good. I can dance, but there's an exhilaration behind it.
- 15:57Speaker 1: You can tell the passion. Hey, a couple more questions
- 16:11Speaker 1: here for you before we let you go. One is
- 16:12Speaker 1: you know we talked about wedding. We've talked about multiple weddings.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Do you have any honeymoon plans? We're actually going to
- 16:18Speaker 1: be deciding today? Are the destination? Wait on this day? Yeah?
- 16:24Speaker 1: What's what's the top choices? Here? Where are you leaning? I?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Actually here, here's here's what I'm gonna do. I want
- 16:29Speaker 1: to cause controversy, Kenny, let's start with you. Where are
- 16:33Speaker 1: you leaning towards? Where do you think you're going on
- 16:36Speaker 1: your honeymoon? Well? I think the biggest one is Italy,
- 16:42Speaker 1: which I actually think we both Okay, okay, so now
- 16:45Speaker 1: it's where in Italy? Is that what we're deciding on today? No,
- 16:50Speaker 1: so I have we're gonna pick out of a jar
- 16:54Speaker 1: we have like yeah, we have to like come up
- 16:58Speaker 1: with a definitive like top five Italy is one of them,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and then that we both agree on, we'll stick them
- 17:03Speaker 1: in a jar and then we'll choose one. Oh whoa,
- 17:08Speaker 1: we have to ask so much more about this. If
- 17:11Speaker 1: you're both down for Italy, why not go to Italy?
- 17:16Speaker 1: Because I also would like to go to Hawaii or
- 17:20Speaker 1: the Giraffe manor in Africa. Oh goodness, this is awesome.
- 17:25Speaker 1: So you're literally literally so you're leaving it up to chance,
- 17:31Speaker 1: Like you're gonna put it in a jar and you're
- 17:33Speaker 1: gonna pick it, and then you're only getting one selection.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Who's who's reaching in the jar to pick it. We'll
- 17:39Speaker 1: take turns, we'll go back and forth. Okay, so how
- 17:43Speaker 1: is this going to? Okay? So okay, maybe I we
- 17:48Speaker 1: start off by pulling one out, so there's five or
- 17:50Speaker 1: six in there, we pull one out. The one we
- 17:52Speaker 1: pull out, We're not going on until we get to
- 17:54Speaker 1: the last one. Oh I is where we go? Anny
- 18:00Speaker 1: would have been very confused later when you picked one
- 18:02Speaker 1: out and he's like, yes, we're going to Italy and
- 18:04Speaker 1: then not like we had to set the rules very
- 18:07Speaker 1: clearly decided today was the day. Um well, honestly, it's
- 18:15Speaker 1: just because we do this Wedding Wednesday series and this
- 18:18Speaker 1: was this week's topic was honeymoons. So we're filming it
- 18:22Speaker 1: after this and we're gonna choose our honeymoon during the video. Goodness,
- 18:26Speaker 1: can I just put one in there? Can I add one? Like? Yes,
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna add like Pittsburgh or like cleaning. That's like
- 18:35Speaker 1: that's the Bachelor add their random city. And you asked
- 18:38Speaker 1: before they go brob. Yeah, yeah, anything like. That's why
- 18:47Speaker 1: I said Wisconsin, like up in the woods for a
- 18:49Speaker 1: couple of days. It would be great. Yeah, it'd be awesome. Um. Well, also, Mare,
- 18:53Speaker 1: you just partnered with smirnov which is a huge deal.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Congratulations on that. Thank you. Tell us more about that
- 18:59Speaker 1: part partnership. Yeah, it was really cool. They decided to
- 19:03Speaker 1: do a twist of the classic margarita, which obviously usually
- 19:07Speaker 1: has tequila in it, um, but Smeirknoff is obviously a
- 19:10Speaker 1: vodka brand, so they came out with the spicy Tamarin
- 19:13Speaker 1: vodka which is sweet from the tarin but it's also
- 19:17Speaker 1: spicy with Hallepeno and they created a margarita with it
- 19:20Speaker 1: and it's actually really really good. Um. So we had
- 19:23Speaker 1: this big party in Miami to kind of take over
- 19:26Speaker 1: margarite a day with the vodka and it was It
- 19:29Speaker 1: was a good time and the drink was really really good.
- 19:32Speaker 1: It was good. Will they be server at the wedding? Now?
- 19:36Speaker 1: Do you have a signature drink that you're thinking for
- 19:38Speaker 1: the wedding? Um? I like a Moscow mule, So that
- 19:42Speaker 1: was gonna be my choice, but I might have to
- 19:44Speaker 1: do that. It's called the Spicy Tamarita Tamari Margarita. Can
- 19:49Speaker 1: we find this Smeirnoff really anywhere? Now? I believe? So, yeah, okay,
- 19:53Speaker 1: it's a big deal. How did you How long have
- 19:55Speaker 1: you worked with them? And how did this partnership start? Well,
- 19:59Speaker 1: was actually my very first time working with Smyrnoff. They're
- 20:02Speaker 1: under an umbrella of Diagio, which is like a bigger
- 20:06Speaker 1: i'll call distributor supplier. They have all kinds of different brands.
- 20:10Speaker 1: But yeah, they reached out. It was actually pretty last minute.
- 20:14Speaker 1: They were like, hey, do you want to come to
- 20:16Speaker 1: Miami next week? We're having this event be our host um,
- 20:19Speaker 1: and luckily we were both available and we're like, yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 1: let's do it. So we went and it went really
- 20:23Speaker 1: well and hopefully we'll be able to have some more
- 20:26Speaker 1: stuff up in the future with that. That's really cool. Well,
- 20:30Speaker 1: we could not you know, let you go before asking
- 20:34Speaker 1: like the final question in this trajectory of marriage and
- 20:38Speaker 1: engage life, do you plan on having children? We couldn't
- 20:46Speaker 1: not be those people. My dad, yeah, in Miami were
- 20:52Speaker 1: again also joined us and he decided that you wanted
- 20:56Speaker 1: to ask that, so that was yeah. No, Well, I
- 21:02Speaker 1: think I'm also the same thing. My ideal timeline would
- 21:06Speaker 1: be in twenty twenty five, so two years from now
- 21:11Speaker 1: we buy a house and then like a year ish later,
- 21:16Speaker 1: when I'm thirty, have our first kid. That's my ideal timeline.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I don't know if it's going to happen that way.
- 21:22Speaker 1: It seems like time. It seems ideal, you know why,
- 21:26Speaker 1: because I also was, um, well wait, well, you'd be
- 21:32Speaker 1: married for three years by the time that the kids born,
- 21:34Speaker 1: and I think pretty ideal. Yeah, I'd actually like to
- 21:37Speaker 1: have it be longer. I wish it was like put
- 21:41Speaker 1: like then you got other clocks. You know, there's lots
- 21:43Speaker 1: of clocks in action. Um so, but I thought that
- 21:46Speaker 1: three years was nice to have a loan. But why
- 21:50Speaker 1: is Kenny like not down for this plan. I have
- 21:52Speaker 1: to just I just have to like put this out there, Kenny,
- 21:55Speaker 1: do you want kids in general? Because your man clock
- 21:58Speaker 1: doesn't really tick so loud. But like you are forty something, yea,
- 22:05Speaker 1: you can obviously be a father whenever you'd like to.
- 22:07Speaker 1: But I know that a lot of guys were about
- 22:09Speaker 1: you know, Kenny, this is another moment energy levels before
- 22:15Speaker 1: you react, I could be ideally I would be like
- 22:20Speaker 1: sixty sixty five. Okay, that's funny. I wasn't sure what
- 22:25Speaker 1: direction you're going to go in. I live my full
- 22:27Speaker 1: life and then on the tail, you know, the kid
- 22:34Speaker 1: without a dad in a few years. That's the other
- 22:37Speaker 1: concerning elements. See, there's so many clocks, guys, and it's
- 22:41Speaker 1: it's annoying and it sucks. Um so. But Kenny, if
- 22:44Speaker 1: you you are forty two now and you look like
- 22:47Speaker 1: you're twenty seven, So if you continue on that trajectory, like,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm not worried about you, like live until one hundred.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Honestly with the whole thing. I'm I'm I'm neutral. I'm
- 23:01Speaker 1: okay with her timeline. I'm okay. If it happens accidentally tomorrow,
- 23:08Speaker 1: I'm okay. I'm just you know, I'm not I'm not
- 23:15Speaker 1: pushing for it and I'm not against it. I'm just
- 23:19Speaker 1: I'm just chilling. We can call this episode Kenny is neutral. Yeah,
- 23:27Speaker 1: with all these big life things of his life, I'm
- 23:30Speaker 1: going to change my my I gio yeah. Well, I mean,
- 23:35Speaker 1: I don't see it as Kenny being neutral. What I
- 23:38Speaker 1: see is Kenny being so happy and content in his
- 23:42Speaker 1: relationship with Marie that he's just happy to have her
- 23:46Speaker 1: by his side no matter what life brings. And Kenny,
- 23:51Speaker 1: I respect that. Good for you. Yeah, happy works out,
- 23:58Speaker 1: Kenny and Marie. Thanks for joining us today, con ragulations
