- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's get back to the Mark Simone show on wor Well. Hey,
- 0:09Speaker 1: we got a lot to get to today. We're talking
- 0:10Speaker 1: about Colbert before and I'm starting to think, you know,
- 0:16Speaker 1: they're getting rid of it. May twenty first, it's gone.
- 0:19Speaker 1: It will be placed by a nice, normal comedy show
- 0:21Speaker 1: in no political jokes, and a game show will replace Colbert.
- 0:27Speaker 1: But maybe we need Colbert. You know why, these people
- 0:32Speaker 1: with the Trump derangement syndrome, they're just raging maniacs. They're
- 0:35Speaker 1: just filled with rage, and maybe we need that. It's
- 0:40Speaker 1: like some kind of a therapy session for him, let
- 0:43Speaker 1: their rage out for you know, an hour every night
- 0:45Speaker 1: watching Colbert. Maybe it's like an anger management something. Maybe
- 0:50Speaker 1: it helps. I don't know. You know, if you watch
- 0:52Speaker 1: the President's briefing yesterday where he went through in detail
- 0:57Speaker 1: the amazing rescue operation, it was so moving and powerful.
- 1:03Speaker 1: The way they rescued this guy. One hundred of our
- 1:05Speaker 1: best commandos, Navy seals rangers scaling the seven thousand foot
- 1:13Speaker 1: cliff mountain to get to this guy and pull him
- 1:16Speaker 1: out of the kit and bring him to say it
- 1:17Speaker 1: was incredible. I mean you could have tears in your
- 1:19Speaker 1: eyes and listening to this. Every time they talked to
- 1:22Speaker 1: any left wing people, they just say they got so
- 1:27Speaker 1: angry watching it that they couldn't stand it. And why
- 1:29Speaker 1: did Trump go on so much? If it was they
- 1:31Speaker 1: thought it'd be ten minutes, and he was talking for
- 1:33Speaker 1: a half hour, and they were getting madder and madder,
- 1:36Speaker 1: one of them telling me they had to start drinking
- 1:37Speaker 1: just to get there. And then he talked for an
- 1:39Speaker 1: hour and they couldn't. Then he talked for an hour
- 1:41Speaker 1: and a half. Then it went to I was They
- 1:42Speaker 1: said they were in such a rage they couldn't think
- 1:45Speaker 1: straight for the rest of it. How could you get
- 1:47Speaker 1: mad watching that? Well, I guess the other things were
- 1:51Speaker 1: he was talking about the eight pm deadline and all
- 1:54Speaker 1: of that. So for your left wing friends, if tonight's
- 1:57Speaker 1: the deadline eight o'clock tonight, where we could start blowing
- 2:01Speaker 1: up bridges, power plants, all of that, So your left
- 2:04Speaker 1: wing friends will go completely completely nuts. President Trump talked
- 2:09Speaker 1: about that yesterday.
- 2:10Speaker 2: We have a plan, because of the power of our military,
- 2:14Speaker 2: where every bridge in Iran will be decimated by twelve
- 2:19Speaker 2: o'clock tomorrow night, where every power plant in Iran will
- 2:24Speaker 2: be out of business, burning, exploding, and never to be
- 2:29Speaker 2: used again. I mean complete demolition.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Okay, Now on MSNBC and all that. Starting at nine
- 2:35Speaker 1: o'clock tonight, they'll be yelling and screaming war crimes. Morning, Joe.
- 2:39Speaker 1: They'll be yelling war crimes again. There's not a war crime. No,
- 2:44Speaker 1: there's no definition of war crime that would apply to this.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Nothing that's done in every war. It's very common, blowing
- 2:50Speaker 1: up bridges, power plants. You could see it in a
- 2:52Speaker 1: thousand wars. But they'll yell at they we're all told
- 2:55Speaker 1: to yell this. West Bill O'Riley about this. He's very
- 2:57Speaker 1: good at explaining this stuff. That decides the language, and
- 3:03Speaker 1: then it's passed around to every demograt what words to use,
- 3:07Speaker 1: what language. We'll get to this later in the hour.
- 3:09Speaker 1: But there's more Trump.
- 3:10Speaker 2: They want us to keep bombing, even if it jeopard
- 3:13Speaker 2: does because their life is in much greater danger. They
- 3:15Speaker 2: want freedom for Iran, but it's very hard for them
- 3:18Speaker 2: to protest. I actually tell him, I said, don't go out.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I fully understand.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Yeah, So the ultimatum we give him them.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Till tomorrow eight o'clock Eastern time, and after that they're
- 3:29Speaker 2: gonna have no bridges.
- 3:30Speaker 1: They're gonna have no power plants.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Stone Ages.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry, right.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It sounds crazy, But every time he sounds crazy. Somehow,
- 3:42Speaker 1: six months later, it turns out he was right. As
- 3:45Speaker 1: crazy as it sounds, it turns out he was right.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Nixon did this too. He used what they call the
- 3:50Speaker 1: mad madman theory. You act like you're nuts, like a
- 3:54Speaker 1: complete mad man. It frightens the enemy. He did that
- 3:56Speaker 1: with the Vietnamese, and Kissinger would go over there. You know,
- 3:59Speaker 1: he's he's crazy, He's I don't know what he's going
- 4:01Speaker 1: to do next. He's so crazy, he's a lunatic, and
- 4:04Speaker 1: it frightens them. However, in this case, you're dealing with
- 4:08Speaker 1: real lunatics, So I don't know if it works with
- 4:09Speaker 1: another lunatic. I mean, you told these Iranians it's not
- 4:16Speaker 1: the Ietole. It's like you were like three levels down
- 4:20Speaker 1: now to even crazier people. So they're so nuts. I
- 4:23Speaker 1: don't know if the mad men theory works on them,
- 4:25Speaker 1: but we'll see. And again, I've been going through this
- 4:28Speaker 1: for decades with Donald Trump. If you think he's crazy
- 4:31Speaker 1: and what he's proposing or saying or doing is absolutely nuts,
- 4:35Speaker 1: you know what, somehow, six months later, he was right.
- 4:38Speaker 1: He pulled it off. And guys like this. You see,
- 4:40Speaker 1: we're used to professional politicians, not entrepreneur billionaires running to
- 4:46Speaker 1: see the way A big entrepreneur, billionaire who built empires.
- 4:50Speaker 1: This is what they do. They go way, I don't know, limb.
- 4:53Speaker 1: They will take risks. You know, that's how you make fortunes,
- 4:56Speaker 1: That's how you build empires. You got to be absolutely fearless.
- 4:59Speaker 1: You got to walk got to the very very very
- 5:01Speaker 1: end of the limb. When you hear it cracking and everything,
- 5:03Speaker 1: you still stand there. That's that's what those guys have
- 5:08Speaker 1: that we don't have. They can take these incredible, incredible risks.
- 5:12Speaker 1: So let's see tonight. Now, what will Colbert do because
- 5:17Speaker 1: he takes the show early, like five point thirty, so
- 5:20Speaker 1: he'll have to talk about it, but he won't know
- 5:22Speaker 1: if the bombing took place at eight o'clock. He said,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm speaking to Colbert. So they're going to replace it
- 5:27Speaker 1: with a comedy show produced by Byron Allen. But that's
- 5:30Speaker 1: still pretty expensive. You know, it's a comedy show comedian,
- 5:32Speaker 1: so you need an audience, you need all that stuff.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Then they're going to do a game show. It'll be
- 5:37Speaker 1: cheaper than Colbert, but it's still expensive. You know. The
- 5:40Speaker 1: big trend now is have you seen Sean Hannity's new show.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It's called Hangout, and it's in what looks like his
- 5:49Speaker 1: man cave or his basement or something. It's got a
- 5:51Speaker 1: pool table, it's got a dartboard, wood paneled, and it's
- 5:55Speaker 1: just him and somebody, a big name guest too. He
- 5:58Speaker 1: they just sit there and they talk for an hour.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And it all goes back to Bill Maher who started
- 6:03Speaker 1: this with Club Random, and it looked pretty weird at
- 6:07Speaker 1: the time. Bill Maher, who had a big, big nighttime
- 6:10Speaker 1: show on big audience, studio audience. They did it at
- 6:14Speaker 1: CBS Television City with a big, big studio, big audience.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And then he started doing this Club Random where he
- 6:21Speaker 1: built like a room in his basement with the wood
- 6:24Speaker 1: paneling and the bar and dartboard, and he just would
- 6:28Speaker 1: sit there with somebody. It would just talk for an
- 6:29Speaker 1: hour and a half. And I got to admit, it's
- 6:31Speaker 1: pretty interesting. I watched it a lot, the Woody Allen one,
- 6:34Speaker 1: the Billy Joel On, there's a lot of them. They
- 6:37Speaker 1: were really interesting. Club Random. Bill Maher started watching me
- 6:41Speaker 1: you love it so everybody started doing a lot of
- 6:43Speaker 1: the podcasts switched to that kind of look, and Hannity's
- 6:46Speaker 1: doing now it's pretty successful hang out with Sean Hannity.
- 6:49Speaker 1: But I'm starting to think this might be what they'll
- 6:51Speaker 1: do in late night eventually, because this can't cost much
- 6:54Speaker 1: to do this. You build this little set that looks
- 6:56Speaker 1: like a basement, You got one guest, you don't need
- 6:59Speaker 1: a studio audience, you don't even need a dressing room,
- 7:02Speaker 1: and there's nothing to dress. I mean, everybody comes looking
- 7:04Speaker 1: like a slob. It's great, it's very casual. This could
- 7:10Speaker 1: be the future of you know, that's the problem with
- 7:11Speaker 1: the network television. They don't have any viewers anymore. There's
- 7:15Speaker 1: not the revenue coming in. So eventually you could try
- 7:17Speaker 1: this on late night. The only thing is this is
- 7:20Speaker 1: done always on YouTube or as a podcast. And the
- 7:23Speaker 1: idea that is you can watch it whenever you want,
- 7:25Speaker 1: You can stop it and start it. Can't do that
- 7:28Speaker 1: on a network TV. I can't tell you how many
- 7:30Speaker 1: times I'm watching a network TV show and there's something
- 7:34Speaker 1: happens and I want to stop it, and I go
- 7:36Speaker 1: to hit the pause, and I realize I can't. It's Live.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I'm not used to anything live anymore, so that's the
- 7:41Speaker 1: problem with doing that. But we'll see, and then we'll see.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Do we need Colbert, Do we need Morning Joe? Do
- 7:46Speaker 1: we need Rachel Maddow? Is it anger management therapy for
- 7:49Speaker 1: these people? Maybe we do? Who knows? And when will
- 7:52Speaker 1: this end all this craziness. Well, we've had it before
- 7:57Speaker 1: where the Democrats go so far to the left and
- 7:59Speaker 1: so oh crazy and so and then somebody comes along
- 8:03Speaker 1: like a Bill Clinton. This happened way back then, and
- 8:05Speaker 1: Bill Clinton led them back to the center, back to
- 8:08Speaker 1: the middle where they were able to win again. Now
- 8:11Speaker 1: you know, Ram Emmanuel worked for Bill Clinton, and in
- 8:15Speaker 1: this sea of crazy Democrats, now looks like he's trying
- 8:19Speaker 1: to pull a Bill Clinton. He's now talking about this
- 8:22Speaker 1: kind of stuff. He's now actually saying out loud. He said,
- 8:26Speaker 1: Democrats have lost the plot. They're too far to the left.
- 8:30Speaker 1: They've gone crazy. They've proposed crazy things like Latin X,
- 8:35Speaker 1: defunding the police, calling everybody a racist, crazy cultural wars.
- 8:41Speaker 1: He said, we're on the losing side of these cultural wars.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Got to stop. So you see him pointing back to
- 8:48Speaker 1: the center, saying we have to get back there. You
- 8:50Speaker 1: see Gavin Newsom doing it sometimes. But Emmanuel went on
- 8:55Speaker 1: and on, Democrats are worried about who comes into your
- 8:57Speaker 1: bathroom and locker room, when the real problem is fifty
- 9:01Speaker 1: percent of our kids are not at the right grade level,
- 9:04Speaker 1: reading at grade level anymore. We're not teaching them anything.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Manuel says, you got it. The Democrats have to get
- 9:13Speaker 1: back to the middle. They're totally disconnected now from the
- 9:16Speaker 1: middle class and their values. So this is interesting. He thinks,
- 9:19Speaker 1: that's I don't know if he's going to ever win.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I mean, he's kind of a creepy guy, but he's
- 9:24Speaker 1: a very very smart political strategist. So he's pointing to
- 9:28Speaker 1: the center, saying you got to get back there. And
- 9:31Speaker 1: he also points out the left has now become the
- 9:33Speaker 1: party of white radical elites, you know, ivy league elites.
- 9:38Speaker 1: No longer the middle class, no longer any of that.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And he points out when Clinton ran in ninety two,
- 9:44Speaker 1: Carville uttered the famous phrase it's the economy, stupid, which
- 9:48Speaker 1: is really what it is. It's not about men and
- 9:51Speaker 1: women's bathrooms and all that stuff. So thirty years later,
- 9:54Speaker 1: history might repeat itself with Ram Emmanuel, you know, people
- 10:00Speaker 1: yelling about the stock market. It's really it's come down
- 10:04Speaker 1: a little because of the war. That's normal. As we
- 10:07Speaker 1: called it, John Carney called it on the show. Stock
- 10:10Speaker 1: market is basically an overreaction machine. If you go to
- 10:14Speaker 1: war and there's bombing and all that, it's going to drop.
- 10:17Speaker 1: But it's still up for the year. I think we
- 10:20Speaker 1: began the year at forty thousand. We're at forty seven thousand.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Once this is all over, we'll probably we went to
- 10:26Speaker 1: fifty before, we'll probably go to fifty two, fifty three,
- 10:29Speaker 1: we'll probably get to sixty thousand. So you're going to
- 10:31Speaker 1: see the greatest stock market ever. The economy is very
- 10:34Speaker 1: strong in the middle of all this chaos and war
- 10:36Speaker 1: and all that. We just had the best jobs report
- 10:39Speaker 1: we've seen in years, one hundred and seventy eight thousand
- 10:41Speaker 1: new jobs created. That's way beyond what was expected, way beyond.
- 10:47Speaker 1: So that looks pretty good. Now, you know these left
- 10:49Speaker 1: wing heroes. Whoever hates the present the most becomes a
- 10:53Speaker 1: left wing hero. And you had that guy Joe Kent
- 10:57Speaker 1: who was in the intelligence department in the government. He
- 11:01Speaker 1: quit quit because of the war in Iran, and he
- 11:04Speaker 1: stood up to President Trump, and he became a left
- 11:07Speaker 1: wing hero. He was suddenly on every talk show, CNN,
- 11:11Speaker 1: MS Now and all that stuff. Well, everybody said he's
- 11:15Speaker 1: a bad guy, but you know, nobody would listen to him.
- 11:17Speaker 1: But he's turned out to be a very bad guy.
- 11:21Speaker 1: He's promoting in the last week all kinds of crazy
- 11:25Speaker 1: Iranian propaganda. In fact, just over the weekend, as the
- 11:30Speaker 1: airman was lost and we were hunting for him, Kent
- 11:34Speaker 1: put out all this stuff, posting and tweeting all this
- 11:36Speaker 1: stuff about how Trump was planning to kill our own pilot,
- 11:40Speaker 1: our own airmen. We were going to blow them up
- 11:43Speaker 1: so that they couldn't fall into the hands of the Iranians.
- 11:47Speaker 1: All we were worried about is Iran parading them around,
- 11:50Speaker 1: torturing them, getting information out of him. So we decided
- 11:53Speaker 1: to kill him and we were going to bomb him.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Kent posting all this crazy nonsense. Even Monday he was
- 12:00Speaker 1: on with Jake Tapper. Even Jake Tapper told him off
- 12:03Speaker 1: for spreading Iranian propaganda. Absolutely ridiculous that he would even
- 12:08Speaker 1: try to push some of that. He called Kent's post
- 12:11Speaker 1: absolute nonsense. And of course we did rescue the guy
- 12:16Speaker 1: and spent hundreds of millions and risked hundreds of lives
- 12:18Speaker 1: to get him back. So as even Jake Tapper said,
- 12:22Speaker 1: your theory didn't age well, so just gives you an
- 12:24Speaker 1: idea what a bad guy Joe Kent is. Hey, remember
- 12:27Speaker 1: we told you the Presidential Library, that Donald Trump Presidential
- 12:32Speaker 1: Library is going to be in Miami, and you can
- 12:35Speaker 1: go online. You can see the pictures. It's a beautiful black,
- 12:38Speaker 1: gleaming gold, black skyscraper. It turns out it'll be the
- 12:42Speaker 1: tallest building in Miami. In the building, they'll put a
- 12:46Speaker 1: replica of his ballroom that he's building at the White
- 12:49Speaker 1: House in there, and they will put I don't know
- 12:52Speaker 1: how they're going to do this. The Boeing seven forty
- 12:54Speaker 1: seven that he used as Air Force one. It'll be
- 12:58Speaker 1: out of service by then, so it's going to be
- 13:01Speaker 1: in the lobby. Now, how do you get that there?
- 13:05Speaker 1: You know, big a Boeing seven forty seven is How
- 13:07Speaker 1: do you get it through the streets of Miami. How
- 13:09Speaker 1: do you get it in the building? Well, they asked
- 13:12Speaker 1: Eric Trump, who's building it. He said, well, we're not sure.
- 13:14Speaker 1: We may have to build the building around it. I
- 13:16Speaker 1: guess you could get it there but listen to these ideas.
- 13:19Speaker 1: This building normally a presidential library. They have a replica
- 13:24Speaker 1: of the Oval Office, a small one, and they have
- 13:26Speaker 1: his papers and stuff. This is going to be different.
- 13:29Speaker 1: They're going to build a replica of the Golden Escalator,
- 13:31Speaker 1: a Trump Tower. They're going to have the seven forty
- 13:34Speaker 1: seven in the lobby. They're going to build a replica
- 13:38Speaker 1: of the Oval Office the way Trump has it done
- 13:40Speaker 1: now with the gold and all that stuff. And they're
- 13:42Speaker 1: going to have a replica of the Presidential Walk of Fame,
- 13:45Speaker 1: you know where he has those portraits and the one
- 13:49Speaker 1: with Joe Biden has an auto pen. And then they're
- 13:52Speaker 1: going to build a big gold statue of him in Butler, Pennsylvania.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Remember when he jumped up after the bullet hit his ear,
- 13:59Speaker 1: he jumped up and pumped his fist in the air.
- 14:01Speaker 1: They're going to have a gold statue of that. Now,
- 14:07Speaker 1: this is the part that's a little unusual. It's a
- 14:10Speaker 1: big skyscraper. It's like ninety stories high. The President said
- 14:15Speaker 1: that they might make it also a hotel. It'll be
- 14:18Speaker 1: a hotel. You can stay in lots of hotel floors
- 14:21Speaker 1: and florsa hotel rooms, luxury hotel with a presidential library
- 14:26Speaker 1: and the first few floors and a seven forty seven
- 14:30Speaker 1: in the lobby. Pretty interesting idea. It's on land that
- 14:34Speaker 1: was donated Miami Dade College had about three acres of
- 14:38Speaker 1: land and was being used as a parking lot, and
- 14:41Speaker 1: they gave it back to the state, and then Ron
- 14:43Speaker 1: DeSantis got control of it and he's transferred ownership to
- 14:48Speaker 1: Trump's Presidential Library Foundation. So this could be the most spectacular,
- 14:54Speaker 1: unusual presidential library. And of course it'll give the left
- 14:57Speaker 1: something to yell and scream about that it's two tac
- 15:00Speaker 1: and gaudy and it's got a hotel and this is awful. Anyway,
- 15:04Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three to two
- 15:07Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 15:11Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten set up, pre said on
- 15:14Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app to do wor to hear Mark Live?
- 15:18Speaker 2: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime?
- 15:22Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Simone on wor. Hey, let's take
- 15:28Speaker 1: some calls. Let's go to Charles Miller place, a nice
- 15:32Speaker 1: part of Long Island. Charles, how you doing great?
- 15:35Speaker 4: Hi?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Mark, how are you good?
- 15:37Speaker 4: I just wanted to mention before Bill Maher had that platform.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I believe it was.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Wayne's World with Wayne and Goss, and that's kind of true.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's a good point.
- 15:49Speaker 4: I think Bill Maher may have taken it from them.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Well, I don't know where he got it from, but
- 15:54Speaker 1: you're right, you're right, that was the first time and
- 15:55Speaker 1: that was Wayne's World. What was that back in the
- 15:57Speaker 1: nineties and early two thousand tests, before pod cast, before
- 16:00Speaker 1: any of that stuffy it was two guys in the basement. Yeah,
- 16:03Speaker 1: remember a stating live In those days, there were a
- 16:06Speaker 1: lot of where somebody had a show like two amateurs
- 16:09Speaker 1: talking in Waynesworld was the best of them. Let's go
- 16:12Speaker 1: to Mike and Florida. Mike, how you doing?
- 16:15Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike too bad?
- 16:18Speaker 5: Onto what the previous.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Call had just mentioned. I was going to say that
- 16:21Speaker 3: back in the day, it was a little bit more
- 16:23Speaker 3: formal than it is now, as casual as it is
- 16:26Speaker 3: now with mar and Hannity and now o'reiley even copied
- 16:29Speaker 3: that format. It was talking.
- 16:31Speaker 1: You know what, Actually, I give a Riley credit. He
- 16:33Speaker 1: didn't copy that format. When he does it, it looks
- 16:36Speaker 1: like a TV set and he's got a suit on.
- 16:38Speaker 1: He didn't go in for that show.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Yeah, so he's a little more formal than the other
- 16:42Speaker 4: two guys.
- 16:43Speaker 6: Been doing it. But back in the day Tom Snyder,
- 16:46Speaker 6: you know, considering you know, the time he was doing it,
- 16:49Speaker 6: that was sort of like a precursor to this format
- 16:52Speaker 6: also well, but.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Tom Snyder, it was a TV studio, it was suits
- 16:55Speaker 1: and sizes. But Tom Snyder was copying Mike Wallace who
- 16:58Speaker 1: had done that in the fifties.
- 17:00Speaker 6: And David Suskind also to a logic step.
- 17:03Speaker 1: But the originator was Mike Wallace in the fifties. Good point, Mike,
- 17:07Speaker 1: thanks for calling. And back in the nineteen fifties Mike
- 17:10Speaker 1: Wallace did it was called night Beat. It was a
- 17:12Speaker 1: local show on Channel five mid fifties, and it was
- 17:16Speaker 1: him and a guest and they both sit in chairs
- 17:18Speaker 1: facing each other, black background, no set, just a black man.
- 17:22Speaker 1: He'd grill the guy and Suskin did a Sunday night
- 17:26Speaker 1: show where it was it was always a panel. And
- 17:29Speaker 1: all this stuff is on YouTube, by the way, you
- 17:30Speaker 1: can go watch these old shows. Pretty interesting to look at. Now,
- 17:33Speaker 1: let's go to Don in New York City. Don. How
- 17:35Speaker 1: you doing.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Yes, Hello, Mark, you were talking yesterday about the film
- 17:40Speaker 4: High Society. Yeah, so let Home was also in that film.
- 17:45Speaker 1: So lest Home Sinatra bing Crosby Grace Kelly. Louis Armstrong
- 17:50Speaker 1: is in the film.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Yes, yes, she shang a duet with Sinatra. Who wants
- 17:56Speaker 4: to be a millionaire.
- 17:57Speaker 1: There you go. What are we supposed to do with
- 17:59Speaker 1: this information?
- 18:01Speaker 4: I don't know?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Oh, okay, well, no, it's good. It was a great fabric.
- 18:04Speaker 1: You can go watch that film High Society. You know, Frank
- 18:08Speaker 1: Sinatra never got intimidated. He was the most confident, courageous
- 18:12Speaker 1: man in the world. Nobody intimidated him except twice in
- 18:16Speaker 1: his life. Once he was young, he was about eighteen.
- 18:19Speaker 1: He started. He was a singing waiter in New Jersey.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Was called the Rustic Cabin. It's right right where you
- 18:28Speaker 1: got off the Palisades. I think eggsit won there. But
- 18:31Speaker 1: it was a little roadhouse and he was a singer.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Little I mean, he was his first job. He's eighteen.
- 18:37Speaker 1: He was also a waiter and a singer. Well, Cole
- 18:39Speaker 1: Porter came in one night. Couldn't believe it, cold, Porter's
- 18:42Speaker 1: in the audience. So Sinatra decided he'll sing night and day. Well,
- 18:46Speaker 1: he got up there and completely panicked he just froze.
- 18:50Speaker 1: He couldn't remember the words to Night and Day. It
- 18:51Speaker 1: was the most embarrassing thing ever. And that was when
- 18:54Speaker 1: he was eighteen. Now million years later he's the biggest
- 18:57Speaker 1: star on earth and he's making the film High Society.
- 19:00Speaker 1: It's nineteen fifty six. It's a Cold Porter musical. Coldporter
- 19:05Speaker 1: comes to visit the set and at one point Sinatra system,
- 19:11Speaker 1: you wouldn't remember this, but when I was eighteen, I
- 19:15Speaker 1: was singing in a road and Coldporter said, I never
- 19:18Speaker 1: forgot it. I never forgot that moment. So it's stuck
- 19:24Speaker 1: in Coldporter's mind. It was so unbelievable. The other time
- 19:27Speaker 1: Sinatra got intimidated, he told me, the only other time
- 19:30Speaker 1: he got intimidated was when he met Winston Churchill. This
- 19:33Speaker 1: is long after World War Two, early fifties. He's in
- 19:37Speaker 1: London and there's a receiving line that where you were
- 19:40Speaker 1: going to meet Churchill. And as he got up to Churchill,
- 19:43Speaker 1: he said, I'm Frank Sinatra, and he tried to explain
- 19:45Speaker 1: who he was, and Churchill grabbed him by the shoulders.
- 19:48Speaker 1: He goes, young man, he goes, I know who you are.
- 19:50Speaker 1: He goes during World War two and we went down
- 19:53Speaker 1: in the tunnels when we were being bombed. It was
- 19:55Speaker 1: your music that got us through the night. We listened
- 19:57Speaker 1: to your recordings. Sinatracuy teared up. He couldn't believe it. Anyways,
- 20:02Speaker 1: go to Vincent and Brooklyn.
- 20:04Speaker 5: Vincent, how you doing great stories?
- 20:06Speaker 6: Mark?
- 20:07Speaker 5: Great stories? Mark. I'm sure you heard my Ma'a Mondami's
- 20:11Speaker 5: press conference yesterday where he had all heads of various departments.
- 20:16Speaker 5: So Ma'a Mondami wants to end so called discrimination against
- 20:20Speaker 5: blacks in Hispanics in New York City by introducing discrimination
- 20:25Speaker 5: on everybody else. He claims that blacks and Hispanics in
- 20:29Speaker 5: the city are not doing it as well as everybody else.
- 20:33Speaker 5: But yet, as Liz Peake said, and also the President
- 20:37Speaker 5: for the Partnership of New York had an article in
- 20:40Speaker 5: the Business section of the in the Post yesterday or
- 20:43Speaker 5: the day before, the crushing effects that New York City
- 20:47Speaker 5: and New York State's fiscal policies. I have it on
- 20:51Speaker 5: the populace and on the people who create wealth and
- 20:54Speaker 5: the jobs in the city. He never mentions it.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you're stunned that the Democratic Socialist is
- 21:02Speaker 1: a hypocrite.
- 21:03Speaker 5: You can't believe it, I mean, but I also heard
- 21:09Speaker 5: that the Trump Justice Department was carefully monitoring what Monami
- 21:14Speaker 5: was saying because they may bring a federal law discrimination
- 21:18Speaker 5: lawsuit against the Mondamie administration if he tries to pull
- 21:23Speaker 5: it's over. It's open discrimination.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Mark, absolutely, Vincent, great call, You're absolutely right. So he's
- 21:29Speaker 1: going to do one of these diversity quota reverse the discrimination.
- 21:34Speaker 1: But the Trump Justice Department has said they are gonna
- 21:38Speaker 1: look at it. They're going to keep their eye on it,
- 21:39Speaker 1: and he could actually be violating a law his own
- 21:43Speaker 1: form of discrimination. So we'll see. Let's go to Roger
- 21:46Speaker 1: in a Storia, Roger, how you doing.
- 21:50Speaker 6: Yeah good. It was a number of years back, but
- 21:54Speaker 6: the ex president of Iran, i'm a dinajad Ad the
- 21:59Speaker 6: following statement. I'm going to paraphrase it. He basically said
- 22:04Speaker 6: that if one of the Arab countries has a nuclear
- 22:06Speaker 6: weapon that had dropped it on Israel, fully understanding that
- 22:11Speaker 6: Israel will retaliate and wipe them off the face of
- 22:15Speaker 6: the earth. He said, but you got to take one
- 22:18Speaker 6: for the team. This is the mentality that we're dealing with.
- 22:22Speaker 1: No, absolutely, this is the people that yelled death to
- 22:24Speaker 1: America all the time I forgot about it. I'm a
- 22:26Speaker 1: didij On, the Iranian president, the worst lunatic, radical, nut
- 22:30Speaker 1: job lunatic in the world. And you remember this is
- 22:33Speaker 1: years ago. If you think Columbia University just got bad
- 22:36Speaker 1: the last few years, it's been bad for a long time. Member.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I can't remember who it is. It was a very
- 22:40Speaker 1: prominent Republican politician or governor or some Republican was to
- 22:45Speaker 1: speak at Columbia, and the students went crazy because he
- 22:48Speaker 1: was a Republican. They did not want him to speak.
- 22:51Speaker 1: They protested, they blocked the hole, so they had to
- 22:53Speaker 1: cancel this Republican guy's speech, and instead the speaker was
- 22:57Speaker 1: Ahmed Didijohn. The student embraced him, the crazy death to America,
- 23:02Speaker 1: Death to Israel, Iranian President, Ahmed Dida John. They actually
- 23:08Speaker 1: let him speak at Columbia. It's always been bad, it's
- 23:10Speaker 1: just it's just the craziest place Colombia. I think it
- 23:14Speaker 1: finally got exposed after October seventh, and it's going to
- 23:18Speaker 1: be decades and decades before they ever recover their their reputation. Hey,
- 23:24Speaker 1: when we come back, Bill O'Reilly will be with us
- 23:26Speaker 1: and we'll I got lots to talk to him about
- 23:28Speaker 1: We'll also tell you how all of this is coordinated,
- 23:30Speaker 1: the Democratic attacks, how coordinated they are. We'll get to
- 23:33Speaker 1: that coming up on seven to ten WR seven to
- 23:37Speaker 1: ten WRS Mark Simone Show continues. Now, Well, Bill O'Reilly
- 23:44Speaker 1: cars the number one TV anchor for decades. You know,
- 23:47Speaker 1: he's got all sorts of stuff going on. You can
- 23:49Speaker 1: go to Bill O'Reilly dot com and see the TV show.
- 23:51Speaker 1: You can go to his YouTube channel, a lot of
- 23:54Speaker 1: great stuff there on YouTube, and also watch his new podcast,
- 23:58Speaker 1: We'll Do It Live. This great episodes, the latest one
- 24:01Speaker 1: with Steve Croft, very interesting, and everything's at billoreilly dot com.
- 24:07Speaker 1: At Bill O'Reilly, how you doing.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Busy?
- 24:11Speaker 3: Just like you monitoring them madness? You know.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, let me ask you something. When they all
- 24:19Speaker 1: start yelling war crimes. Morning, Joe, Rachel, Matt, they're all
- 24:21Speaker 1: yelling war crime, war crime, tell us explain to everybody
- 24:25Speaker 1: how this is coordinated. The talking points are coordinated among Democrats.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Yeah, there are a number of political assue committees in
- 24:33Speaker 3: DC on K Street that every morning about eight am,
- 24:40Speaker 3: they send blasts to the liberal pundits and some Democrats
- 24:47Speaker 3: in Congress, and it's like the word of the day.
- 24:51Speaker 3: So here's the theme of the day. And that's why
- 24:56Speaker 3: you hear the same phraseology uttered over and over and
- 25:01Speaker 3: over on television and in certain newspapers. So the phraseology
- 25:07Speaker 3: today is war crimes, and tomorrow it'll be that Trump
- 25:13Speaker 3: is not competent, they should have the twenty fifth Amendment
- 25:17Speaker 3: to remove him. It's every day something else, and so
- 25:22Speaker 3: it's picked up. And then people hear this over and
- 25:25Speaker 3: over again, and they make of it what they will.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yeah, so they'll repeat war crimes over and over. You'll
- 25:33Speaker 1: hear ten thousand times a day. Now the average person
- 25:35Speaker 1: who's not that partisan actually thinks it's true. If you
- 25:37Speaker 1: talk to a real legal expert, it's not true. But
- 25:40Speaker 1: don't walk around thinking there's war crimes going on. So
- 25:42Speaker 1: what can you do.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Think You only think it's true if you don't like Trump.
- 25:48Speaker 3: And so they democrats and the Trump haters so far left,
- 25:54Speaker 3: they seize upon anything negative in order to define the president.
- 26:02Speaker 3: So in Iran, what they're trying to do here, and
- 26:05Speaker 3: you'll see this play out in the next few days.
- 26:08Speaker 3: No matter what Trump does, he loses, so saying he
- 26:12Speaker 3: says at the last minute, well, we're not going to
- 26:15Speaker 3: bomb the infrastructure of Iran. We're going to pull back
- 26:18Speaker 3: and we're going to do exit all he surrendered, Okay,
- 26:23Speaker 3: and he said no, no, Now we're going to go
- 26:25Speaker 3: in and blow up some water plants and bridges. No, no, no,
- 26:30Speaker 3: this is war crimes. So whatever he does, and this
- 26:35Speaker 3: is the Art of the Steel, I call it. Trump's
- 26:40Speaker 3: book was the Art of the Deal. It's not going
- 26:43Speaker 3: to work out for Trump. He's going to be the
- 26:45Speaker 3: villain no matter what.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Now you know him as well as anybody who wrote
- 26:50Speaker 1: the book about him. What is going on in his mind?
- 26:52Speaker 1: What is the.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Well? I think there's a lot of confusion in the
- 26:58Speaker 3: Department of War right now, and things change from hour
- 27:03Speaker 3: to hour. It's the generals that are running it, not
- 27:07Speaker 3: hag Seth, not the civilians. I don't know exactly what
- 27:14Speaker 3: the intel is going to Trump, but I know he
- 27:17Speaker 3: gets it early in the morning, just like the propaganda
- 27:22Speaker 3: people put it out. He gets what the general suggests
- 27:26Speaker 3: that that line of the day should be from him. Now,
- 27:34Speaker 3: nobody really can predict that. There aren't very many leaks.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Interestingly enough, there was a talk of boint yesterday, but
- 27:43Speaker 3: in his first room there's just leak after leak after leak,
- 27:46Speaker 3: they seem to have clogged that up. So the press
- 27:49Speaker 3: doesn't get a lot coming out of the White House
- 27:52Speaker 3: right now. And that's where we are.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Well, and like any billionaire entrepreneur, he'll take big risks
- 28:00Speaker 1: to go way out on a limb. But you know
- 28:02Speaker 1: him as well as anyway. Do you have confidence that
- 28:04Speaker 1: he really knows what he's doing here.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Well, knows what he's doing well. He certainly understands the situation,
- 28:15Speaker 3: and he believes, and this is key, that Iran was
- 28:20Speaker 3: within weeks of developing enough uranium to make a nuclear bomb.
- 28:27Speaker 3: So he believes that it's not fake, it's not phoney,
- 28:31Speaker 3: it's not contrive This is what he believes. And so
- 28:36Speaker 3: that all the way down the food chain, that's pretty
- 28:40Speaker 3: much what the Trump administration is putting out there. That's
- 28:44Speaker 3: not going to change. So once you understand that that
- 28:49Speaker 3: he sees it as a direct threat not only to
- 28:52Speaker 3: the United States, but to the world, Israel in Europe,
- 28:56Speaker 3: that he's going to basically take the or urine and
- 29:00Speaker 3: I'm away from the Iranians, and he'll do what he
- 29:05Speaker 3: has to do to make that happen. Now it could
- 29:08Speaker 3: be and This is just a guess that there might
- 29:12Speaker 3: be raids on these nuclear facilities by infantry. Now that
- 29:17Speaker 3: would cause a lot of trouble in the United States,
- 29:20Speaker 3: but I can't see any other way to get that done.
- 29:25Speaker 3: If the Mullas aren't going to make a deal, and
- 29:27Speaker 3: it looks like they are not.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yeah, well, we've had boots on the ground now twice
- 29:33Speaker 1: in both rescue operations. And you think maybe during all
- 29:36Speaker 1: of this bombing, that's when the commandos will go in
- 29:39Speaker 1: and try to get that material.
- 29:44Speaker 3: You know, I can't. I just don't have the information
- 29:48Speaker 3: to guess at what the commanders believe. But there are
- 29:53Speaker 3: only a few options. So there is a chance that
- 29:58Speaker 3: the Moullas at the last meet and it may ask
- 30:01Speaker 3: for an extension of negotiations. There's a chance, and that
- 30:06Speaker 3: would happen late this afternoon and they said, well, wait
- 30:10Speaker 3: a minute, now, we want to go to Islamabad, Pakistan
- 30:14Speaker 3: and we want to talk about it a little bit.
- 30:17Speaker 3: That could happen, and let's hope it does, because then
- 30:21Speaker 3: that could lead to some kind of arrangement where the
- 30:26Speaker 3: Moullas say, okay, see it comes down to this, Why
- 30:29Speaker 3: did the Mullas want a nuclear weapon for what Their
- 30:35Speaker 3: whole country is being destroyed, their whole structure being assassinated.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Does it really mean that much to you? That's what
- 30:48Speaker 3: you have to wrap your hand around. Why do they
- 30:50Speaker 3: want this? All they have to say to Trump is yeah, well,
- 30:54Speaker 3: let the weapons destructors come in and make sure we
- 30:57Speaker 3: don't cheat on the Uranian deal. That's it. Then the
- 31:02Speaker 3: whole thing falls into place, and we would help Iran,
- 31:08Speaker 3: the Uranian people rebuild their economy. So you have to
- 31:13Speaker 3: say to yourself, these crazy Mullahs are so insane that
- 31:19Speaker 3: they would rather have their whole country destroyed and tens
- 31:22Speaker 3: of thousands of people dead, and that's happened already, to
- 31:26Speaker 3: keep their uranium enrichment program. Well, why would they want
- 31:31Speaker 3: to do that if they weren't going to use it? Right?
- 31:37Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 31:38Speaker 3: So, you know, I'm a logical, simple guy. I'm just
- 31:41Speaker 3: walking through this and you know, and I'm listening to people,
- 31:46Speaker 3: and my question is unanswerable because I have a lot
- 31:51Speaker 3: of people that you know, I don't like this at all,
- 31:54Speaker 3: and why would you like it? It's hurting the economy,
- 31:56Speaker 3: it's hurting people's personal finances. Why would you like it?
- 32:00Speaker 3: But then I look at him and I said, are
- 32:02Speaker 3: you okay with Iran having a nuclear orban?
- 32:06Speaker 5: Yes or no?
- 32:09Speaker 3: And I would put that question to Pope Leo, you're
- 32:13Speaker 3: okay with that? And they can't answer it. They cannot
- 32:20Speaker 3: answer it.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Well, we'll see tonight. Hey, let's change subjects for a minute.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Your new podcast, Do It Live. I love it. The
- 32:30Speaker 1: Steve Kroft interview was fascinating. Now he's a great guy.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I love Steve Kroft, but he couldn't seem to acknowledge
- 32:36Speaker 1: that CBS sixty Minutes has gone a little biased. And
- 32:40Speaker 1: you see this at MSNBCCNN. They don't realize how biased
- 32:43Speaker 1: they've become, do.
- 32:44Speaker 3: They, But it is a matter of them. They're like
- 32:47Speaker 3: the Mullas in Iran. The Mulla's in Iran don't care
- 32:53Speaker 3: how many people die, so I couldn't. Who doesn't care
- 32:58Speaker 3: how many people are dead? Right? Yeah, mothers don't care.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Mns doesn't care how crazy they get. As long as
- 33:08Speaker 3: they have a million two watching their primetime every night
- 33:14Speaker 3: where they can make money from it, they couldn't care
- 33:17Speaker 3: less about anything else. It's a bottom line. We want
- 33:22Speaker 3: to make this kind of money, and if we have
- 33:24Speaker 3: to say crazy stuff, we'll say crazy stuff. That's it.
- 33:30Speaker 3: There's no more to it than that.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Hey, Colbert is going off there and not even asked.
- 33:36Speaker 1: The replacement will be a comedy show with no politics
- 33:40Speaker 1: and a game show. We'll do the next second half hour.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Well, they stole the comedy concept from Gutfeld, absolutely stole
- 33:51Speaker 3: it from him. And so Byron Allen, who I know
- 33:55Speaker 3: a little bit. He's always been respectful and a very
- 34:00Speaker 3: successful businessman. So he'll sit there and he'll bring in
- 34:03Speaker 3: some comics and they'll make fun of everybody.
- 34:06Speaker 1: But he said he instructed everybody no politics, no political
- 34:10Speaker 1: jokes of any kind.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Yeah, but they have to get into if it's gonna
- 34:15Speaker 3: be relevant, they have to get into whatever the news
- 34:19Speaker 3: of the day is. What are they going to talk
- 34:21Speaker 3: about your mother in law? Are we going to bring
- 34:24Speaker 3: Rodney back? What are we going to do?
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah, well he's probably thinking ahead. You could rerun, he said,
- 34:30Speaker 1: I love Lucy, want to be able to rerun these
- 34:32Speaker 1: forever and ever so that they're timeless.
- 34:34Speaker 3: I don't know if Ricky can stay up that late.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Certainly Little Ricky can't. But so they'll sit around and
- 34:44Speaker 3: you know, this is a CBS play. Maybe they'll make
- 34:48Speaker 3: a little money. I don't. I doubt it. I don't
- 34:50Speaker 3: think it's going to work at all. But you know,
- 34:56Speaker 3: that whole genre of late night is over. It's not
- 34:59Speaker 3: coming back.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, we love what you can watch Bill O'Reilly.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. Make sure you watch
- 35:06Speaker 1: this YouTube channel. I like the new podcast Do It Live.
- 35:09Speaker 1: You know what I love the most all these guys
- 35:12Speaker 1: they have to wear like a lumberjackshirt and do it
- 35:14Speaker 1: from their basement. You at least do it in a
- 35:16Speaker 1: TV studio and you wear sit That's the way to
- 35:18Speaker 1: do it. I think.
- 35:19Speaker 5: You know.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Look, I'm a traditional guy. My staff said, why don't
- 35:23Speaker 3: you wear fatigues? I'm going now, okay, this is ridiculous.
- 35:30Speaker 3: I know there is a divide between the over fifties
- 35:33Speaker 3: and the other fifties. I got it. But the information
- 35:37Speaker 3: flow that we can bring to these broadcasts. With Steve Kroft,
- 35:42Speaker 3: I work for CBS. I know everything about it, so
- 35:45Speaker 3: I could ask him questions that nobody else could ask him,
- 35:49Speaker 3: and we got a lot of publicity on that. He
- 35:52Speaker 3: was very honest. He's eighty years old. What has he
- 35:55Speaker 3: got to lose? And that's the way we're going to
- 35:58Speaker 3: conduct ourselves.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really good. You can watch. It's called We'll
- 36:01Speaker 1: Do It Live. Bill O'Reilly's podcast is a four episodes
- 36:04Speaker 1: now right, they're all yeah, very good.
- 36:07Speaker 3: And we got Howie Mandell dropping on Thursday.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Oh great, all right, well watch We'll Do It Live.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly's new podcast. Check out his YouTube channel and
- 36:15Speaker 1: of course the column everything the TV shows at Bill
- 36:18Speaker 1: O'Reilly dot com, billoreilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly, thanks for
- 36:22Speaker 1: being with us.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Appreciate having me, Mark, Thank you.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Take care, Hey, don't forget Tonight Jimmy Fayla nine o'clock,
- 36:31Speaker 1: great show. And you know Curtis is back. He's on
- 36:34Speaker 1: every morning. It's Curtis Leewa and Larry Mente six to ten.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Every morning here on seven to ten, wor de Mark
- 36:43Speaker 1: Simone show on sevenr. Well, if you've ever been on
- 36:49Speaker 1: the Crossbronx Expressway, you know it can be a nightmare.
- 36:53Speaker 1: It's just one big traffic jam now times in the
- 36:56Speaker 1: middle of the day, one two o'clock, in the afternoon,
- 36:58Speaker 1: three o'clock, it's it's okay, it's okay, it's not bad.
- 37:01Speaker 1: But most of the time it's just an absolute snarled
- 37:04Speaker 1: up mess. The Cross Bronx Expressway goes from the George
- 37:07Speaker 1: Washington Bridge to like the east side of Manhattan, and
- 37:13Speaker 1: if you want to go from New Jersey to Long Island,
- 37:16Speaker 1: you need to use the Cross Bronx or to west Chester.
- 37:19Speaker 1: But now the problem is, what do you do about it.
- 37:22Speaker 1: It's just a traffic nightmare. It's just bumper to bumper
- 37:25Speaker 1: the whole time. You can't move. So there's a whole
- 37:27Speaker 1: plan to widen it. Put an extra two lanes in there.
- 37:31Speaker 1: It can be done. Make it four lanes on both sides.
- 37:35Speaker 1: It's a nine hundred billion dollar project. And to widen it,
- 37:40Speaker 1: you know, you have to come out a little closer
- 37:42Speaker 1: to the buildings on each side. So this is the plan.
- 37:46Speaker 1: New York State's going to do it. Now. AOC who's
- 37:50Speaker 1: actually the congresswoman of that part of the Bronx, has
- 37:54Speaker 1: written an angry letter to Kathy Hokel sayings you better
- 37:57Speaker 1: stop this plan, you better not go ahead with this,
- 38:01Speaker 1: and she does not want it done. Now. Remember it
- 38:04Speaker 1: was Pete Budhajetge and some of these Democrats who said
- 38:07Speaker 1: the Cross Bronx is a racist expressway. Now somebody said,
- 38:13Speaker 1: how could a bunch of concrete be racist? Well, they
- 38:16Speaker 1: argued that when it was built, Robert Moses deliberately divided
- 38:20Speaker 1: neighborhoods based on race by putting the cross bronx in
- 38:22Speaker 1: as a border. Well, actually, at that time was the
- 38:24Speaker 1: mostly Jewish neighborhood. So but here's the problem. Now, Kathy
- 38:28Speaker 1: Hockel doesn't Why why do you have to listen to
- 38:32Speaker 1: AOC who cares do whatever you're going to do. But
- 38:35Speaker 1: it's an election year and AOC controls a lot of
- 38:38Speaker 1: the far left, so Hochel's running for re election AOC Mamdani,
- 38:44Speaker 1: those types. If they start going after Hockel, it'll cost
- 38:47Speaker 1: her the far left, which is a big part of
- 38:49Speaker 1: her votes that she needs in New York City that
- 38:52Speaker 1: could help Blakeman win. So expect Kathy Hochel to cave
- 38:56Speaker 1: in on this. Now. It's easy to cave in because
- 38:58Speaker 1: it's a nine hundred million dollar project. You know, whenever
- 39:01Speaker 1: the government tries to do anything with construction or a road,
- 39:04Speaker 1: it takes twenty years. So this won't even start for
- 39:08Speaker 1: a couple of years anyway, So I expect Hockel to
- 39:11Speaker 1: cave in on this. Hey, we're out of time. I'll
- 39:13Speaker 1: be back tomorrow. I'm here every day ten to noon,
- 39:16Speaker 1: or you could listen anytime you want. Dare Night, just
- 39:18Speaker 1: get the podcast any place you get podcasts. I'll see
- 39:21Speaker 1: you tomorrow ten o'clock. Right here on seven to ten
- 39:24Speaker 1: wo
