- 0:19Speaker 2: one thing about that is Hampton's. There's no cell service
- 0:22Speaker 2: out there. It is the worst. It's because nobody allows
- 0:27Speaker 2: cell tower out there. Hey, he's with us now. Bill O'Reilly,

- 0:53Speaker 2: is there billo'reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly, how you doing good?
- 0:57Speaker 1: Cindy Adams give me a nice review on Confronting America?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Would have to change. The woman is an amazing I
- 1:07Speaker 1: think she's ninety five, isn't she five?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Still goes out every night, still running around town at
- 1:13Speaker 2: ninety five, pretty good.
- 1:15Speaker 1: That's probably why she's ninety five. So but anyway, where
- 1:21Speaker 1: you know, I have to write her a note. It
- 1:22Speaker 1: was a very nice review of Confronting America out September fifteenth,
- 1:27Speaker 1: in pretty order around Bill O'Reilly dot com. It's going
- 1:30Speaker 1: to be a big book because it's surprising, you know,
- 1:33Speaker 1: and I give solutions, unlike most politicians and pundits. I say,
- 1:39Speaker 1: here's a problem, here's what we have to do to
- 1:42Speaker 1: solve it. And that you don't see that very much anymore.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, we're talking about this earlier, about ten years ago,
- 1:48Speaker 2: the news media went totally corrupt and totally slanted. I
- 1:53Speaker 2: mean it was always a little slant, but then it
- 1:54Speaker 2: just went totally nuts. They just don't cover anything bad
- 1:58Speaker 2: about any Democrat ever. There is something bad. Most people
- 2:01Speaker 2: don't get to hear about it. Now, you've been in
- 2:03Speaker 2: that business all your life. How had he ever fixed that?
- 2:07Speaker 1: Um, you can fix it. It's not gonna be quickly. So
- 2:12Speaker 1: it happened because of Trump himself, and it's an interesting evolution.
- 2:19Speaker 1: So in the beginning, the media laughed at Donald Trump,
- 2:23Speaker 1: the apprentice guy and the guy with the hair and
- 2:27Speaker 1: the guy running around. He's got no chance, and Jeff
- 2:30Speaker 1: Bush will kick his bod And then they had the debate,
- 2:34Speaker 1: and Trump just destroyed the Republican competition, made them look
- 2:40Speaker 1: foolish by running as a populist and saying to the
- 2:44Speaker 1: American people, Look, you want to over these guys, they're
- 2:48Speaker 1: not gonna help you. I will. And the public bought it.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Once that turned, once the polls started to turn in
- 2:56Speaker 1: Trump's favor, the news media goes, no, we can't have that,
- 3:01Speaker 1: because he's not in anybody's pocket. See that's the key
- 3:06Speaker 1: thing that wor listeners sept to understand. The media wants
- 3:12Speaker 1: politicians dependent on it. So you've got to bow down
- 3:18Speaker 1: before Fox News or the New York Times or CNN,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and you gotta pretty much do what they want. And
- 3:28Speaker 1: Trump had no interest in doing that at all. I
- 3:30Speaker 1: don't even think he thought about it. He thought he
- 3:33Speaker 1: was gonna get a fair shake. I told him very
- 3:36Speaker 1: early on, there's no way a guy like you outside
- 3:40Speaker 1: the system he's coming in and shake things up. He's
- 3:42Speaker 1: gonna get a fair play. They're gonna try to hurt
- 3:46Speaker 1: you and your family. And that's what happened.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yeah, So I guess and in the minds of most
- 3:51Speaker 2: mainstream media. They felt Trump was so evil, will do
- 3:54Speaker 2: whatever we have to do to stop them.
- 3:56Speaker 1: But then that's correct, and they even printed that. In
- 3:59Speaker 1: the New York Times. There was an article forget the
- 4:03Speaker 1: guy's name, but he's been around a long time. I
- 4:05Speaker 1: haven't seen him lately, and it said, look the journal
- 4:10Speaker 1: rules of journalism, and at one time there were rules.
- 4:13Speaker 1: They don't apply to Donald Trump. Okay, so we're going
- 4:17Speaker 1: to just do advocacy, and our advocacy. He's bad. You
- 4:23Speaker 1: can't vote for him, and we're going to try to
- 4:26Speaker 1: hurt him. And they put it call Fort. That was
- 4:29Speaker 1: the guy's name, Paul Clfort, col fr D. He wrote
- 4:34Speaker 1: it in the paper, and all of the others Television
- 4:40Speaker 1: networks followed that lead, with the exception of Fox, which said, no,
- 4:47Speaker 1: we can make money liking Trump, so we can make
- 4:52Speaker 1: money liking him, so we're going to like him. The
- 4:56Speaker 1: others said we can make money hating him television, so
- 5:01Speaker 1: I hate them. And that's how it all abolved. Now
- 5:04Speaker 1: to unravel all of that, need very strong leadership became
- 5:09Speaker 1: of the government involved. Because the government's going to try
- 5:11Speaker 1: to use the media for its own purposes. Let's be honest.
- 5:15Speaker 1: But you need strong leadership at the top of these
- 5:18Speaker 1: media companies, and unfortunately, most of these people are moneymen.
- 5:24Speaker 1: All they care is profit, profit, profit, profit. That's all
- 5:27Speaker 1: they care about. They don't care about the country. The
- 5:30Speaker 1: one thing that's different now is the social media where
- 5:34Speaker 1: I live, okay, because nobody can control me. I run
- 5:39Speaker 1: my own corporations and we do put forth an honest presentation.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Yeah so, but they kind of got used to this
- 5:47Speaker 2: business model of being totally slanted, totally and they've they
- 5:51Speaker 2: used it on Trump, but now they use it to
- 5:52Speaker 2: protect Platner, they use it to protect Mom Donnie. It's
- 5:55Speaker 2: too widespread now to ever stop, isn't it.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't know if it if it's hopeless.
- 6:03Speaker 1: But the media as it stands, and that's going to
- 6:07Speaker 1: change now with the Paramount merger and CNN is gonna
- 6:10Speaker 1: they're gonna wipe out all their primetime people. They're gonna
- 6:13Speaker 1: be gone. CBS is not what it used to be
- 6:17Speaker 1: in the sense that they have they have managers going
- 6:23Speaker 1: over every word, every word that these correspondents say because
- 6:29Speaker 1: they knew it was so far out of control. So
- 6:31Speaker 1: I'm not hopeless about it. But the reason. The reason
- 6:35Speaker 1: that the left wing press wants to pop up a
- 6:41Speaker 1: guy like Platner and Maine is because they hate Republicans.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Republicans are now attached to Trump the MAGA movement, so
- 6:50Speaker 1: they want Democrats to win all the races, even if
- 6:52Speaker 1: it's ma'am Donnie, they want them to win.
- 6:56Speaker 2: No, hey, let's talk about Lindsey Graham. You do your podcast,
- 7:01Speaker 2: will do It Live? A lot of episodes out now,
- 7:03Speaker 2: great episodes. The Lindsay Graham one was fascinating, a brilliant guy.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it was the last extensive interview he did, and
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm you know, it's just lucky that I got it.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And it's forty five minutes about Iran and the big
- 7:21Speaker 1: picture there, and that still has not gone President Trump's
- 7:26Speaker 1: way Iran. Now I'm still hoping because it's better for
- 7:31Speaker 1: the world if Iran goes down, and I mean goes down.
- 7:36Speaker 1: So I'm still hoping that that will happen. But Graham
- 7:40Speaker 1: laid out a pretty persuasive case that look, this country
- 7:45Speaker 1: for fifty years has been sanctioning terrorism, and what hundreds
- 7:51Speaker 1: of thousands of people have been killed, including US service
- 7:54Speaker 1: people in Iran by Iran. And I wrote about that
- 7:58Speaker 1: and give killing the killers, and how in the first
- 8:02Speaker 1: administration Trump tracked down Solimani and they destroyed ices and
- 8:09Speaker 1: they being Obama is part of that. He doesn't get
- 8:12Speaker 1: any credit for it, but Obama was part of that.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Obama made mistakes but rectified and then threw a lot
- 8:19Speaker 1: of stuff at these terrorism but always behind the curtain
- 8:24Speaker 1: was Iran. And so enough's enough. Right, you would think
- 8:29Speaker 1: that the nuclear weapon thing. And here's a kicker on
- 8:32Speaker 1: this saw I was debating on television. A bunch of
- 8:37Speaker 1: people left these all of them say Olan didn't have
- 8:41Speaker 1: capacity to build a nuclear weapon, and I go, how
- 8:44Speaker 1: do you know? Every intelligence report that the United States
- 8:52Speaker 1: and Israel have and NATO as well says that the
- 8:57Speaker 1: Mullas are very close to enriching uranium and building a bomb. Everyone.
- 9:04Speaker 1: And now we find out, okay that the Mos admit it.
- 9:09Speaker 1: They admit it, and there are satellite pictures showing the
- 9:14Speaker 1: blue the uranium mines underground rebuilding. Now then you don't
- 9:21Speaker 1: hear anything. Then you hear no silence from the left
- 9:24Speaker 1: who made the erroneous claim in the first place, an
- 9:27Speaker 1: absurd claim, because how would they know, How would you
- 9:30Speaker 1: know there's nobody in Iran. There's no reporting there. That's
- 9:35Speaker 1: why it's so hard to get information out of there.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know how Trump works. They like to
- 9:42Speaker 2: say he's got no plan, it's chaos, but you know
- 9:44Speaker 2: Trump will just jump in course correct constantly until he
- 9:47Speaker 2: figures it out. In the end, it should be okay,
- 9:50Speaker 2: shouldn't it.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I don't know why. You know, he doesn't want to.
- 9:54Speaker 1: He doesn't want to kill civilians and it would kill
- 9:58Speaker 1: I don't know if we really go after the infrastructure
- 10:02Speaker 1: of Iran. I asked me to be fifty thousand civilians
- 10:06Speaker 1: laying in the street. Yeah, he doesn't want that on
- 10:11Speaker 1: his resume. And that's the only thing that's holding up
- 10:14Speaker 1: the mulas that he, the president of the United States,
- 10:20Speaker 1: has not gone in to just wreck the Iranian That
- 10:25Speaker 1: means you could make a cell phone call. You have
- 10:28Speaker 1: a hard time going to the market to get food.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I mean, you used our devastating that place like the
- 10:34Speaker 1: United States did to Japan and the Allies did to Germany.
- 10:40Speaker 1: That's how you end the conflicts like this. But Trump
- 10:43Speaker 1: does not want to do it. And I'm not criticizing
- 10:45Speaker 1: the president. You've been very honest with me about it.
- 10:49Speaker 1: He doesn't want fifty thousand dead civilians.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Well, I wish I had more time, but we don't.
- 10:55Speaker 2: But Bill O'Reilly's you should get his latest book. It's
- 10:59Speaker 2: a wonderful book. Great review today from Cindy Adams. The
- 11:03Speaker 2: book is called Confronting America. You can order it right now.

- 11:23Speaker 1: I hope I can remember his last That would be Donald,
- 11:27Speaker 1: that would be yeah, that would be helpful. You know,
- 11:32Speaker 1: I got Cindy Adams at ninety five. I'm getting up
- 11:35Speaker 1: there too. You just.

- 11:44Speaker 1: I'm looking for a way to cut back. But every
- 11:47Speaker 1: time what was the Godfather line? Every time I think
