Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Nowor presents no. Mark Simon shaw Well will bring you
- 0:10Speaker 1: all the latest on the LaGuardia crash. There's all sorts
- 0:13Speaker 1: of details coming out. We'll bring you all the latest
- 0:15Speaker 1: on Iran. There are talks taking place. We'll explain how
- 0:19Speaker 1: that Iranian lie happened. We'll get to the Democrats. How
- 0:25Speaker 1: are they really pulling for the midterms. You'll be surprised
- 0:29Speaker 1: at the answer. We'll get to lots of stuff today.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Mark Wayne Mullen will be confirmed later there, you've just
- 0:35Speaker 1: been confirmed. He'll be sworn in later today as the
- 0:39Speaker 1: new Department Homeland Security Secretary. So the lines are crazy
- 0:44Speaker 1: at the airport, three four, five hours. But as I
- 0:46Speaker 1: heard Curtis porn out this morning, everybody's whining with these
- 0:50Speaker 1: three hour lines. Walk around New York. You'll see there's
- 0:53Speaker 1: a three hour line for this pizza place in Brooklyn.
- 0:55Speaker 1: There's a three hour line for that hot new donut place.
- 0:58Speaker 1: There's a three hour line at pop up bagels. People
- 1:02Speaker 1: love these lines. Of course in this one, you're not
- 1:04Speaker 1: really getting anything to eat at the end of it.
- 1:06Speaker 1: But the crash, the horrible crash at LaGuardia, Now this
- 1:11Speaker 1: is the interesting part. They've taken the black box out
- 1:15Speaker 1: of the plane. You know that flight recorder, the black box.
- 1:19Speaker 1: It has to be analyzed in Washington. That's where they
- 1:22Speaker 1: have the special equipment that can download the data in
- 1:25Speaker 1: the black box and analyze it. So it's got to
- 1:27Speaker 1: be done in DC. They had to take the box
- 1:30Speaker 1: out of the plane and get it to d C.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I found it interesting that they put it in a
- 1:35Speaker 1: car and drove it to DC. This is the National
- 1:38Speaker 1: Transportation Safety Board, this is the flight experts. They didn't
- 1:42Speaker 1: want to get on a plane with it. They drove
- 1:44Speaker 1: it for four or five hours down to Washington, d C.
- 1:47Speaker 1: They thought it'd be better not to get on a
- 1:50Speaker 1: plane right now.
- 1:51Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:51Speaker 1: They had a problem with these National Transportation Safety Board
- 1:56Speaker 1: inspectors that come after a crash and analyze and figure
- 2:00Speaker 1: out what happened. They had to get them to New
- 2:01Speaker 1: York and the problem was they had to get They
- 2:05Speaker 1: went through an airport. They were going to get on
- 2:07Speaker 1: a plane, but they had troubled in the airport. They
- 2:10Speaker 1: had to wait in these three hour security lines. So
- 2:13Speaker 1: calls had to be made to the Transportation Secretary to
- 2:17Speaker 1: get these guys through the security line so they could
- 2:19Speaker 1: get here. That was the delay in getting them here.
- 2:24Speaker 1: It's too soon to really say who's to blame for
- 2:26Speaker 1: what it looks like the air traffic controller really screwed up,
- 2:29Speaker 1: but you never know until you get all the facts.
- 2:32Speaker 1: The firetruck, here's the problem. There was another emergency at
- 2:37Speaker 1: the airport at the same time. There was a plane
- 2:39Speaker 1: on another runway that had an awful smell in the
- 2:42Speaker 1: cabin smoke. They thought there was fire. That's why the
- 2:45Speaker 1: fire trucks. And that truck that was going to cross
- 2:49Speaker 1: the runway actually was a caravan. There were other trucks
- 2:53Speaker 1: with it behind it, so that's why it was in
- 2:55Speaker 1: a hurry to get to that scene of the other emergency,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and that's why it wanted to drive right across the
- 3:01Speaker 1: runway to get to that other emergency. The air traffic
- 3:04Speaker 1: controller is in charge of not only the planes coming in,
- 3:08Speaker 1: but he's in charge of everything on the ground, all
- 3:10Speaker 1: the trucks. And you know, they have radar that they
- 3:13Speaker 1: see all the planes, everything in the sky with there's
- 3:15Speaker 1: another radar set they have that shows everything on the ground,
- 3:19Speaker 1: every vehicle, everything where it is. So it's very hard
- 3:22Speaker 1: to coordinate all that. But the air traffic controller gave
- 3:27Speaker 1: the truck that go had to cross the runway. Now
- 3:29Speaker 1: it looks like he forgot that he'd also cleared an
- 3:34Speaker 1: airplane to land on that runway. Now, again, it's too
- 3:37Speaker 1: soon to say exactly what happened. Air traffic controllers from
- 3:41Speaker 1: the past lots of experience have looked at this and
- 3:43Speaker 1: said this guy was just brain dead, just really screwed up,
- 3:46Speaker 1: or there wasn't enough. There weren't enough traffic controllers in
- 3:50Speaker 1: the tower, and one guy was handling too many things
- 3:54Speaker 1: and forgot he had cleared the plane to land. Now, apparently,
- 3:58Speaker 1: once a plane is cleared to land, that plane owns
- 4:01Speaker 1: the runway. It has priority over everything. If there's a
- 4:05Speaker 1: plane landing, nothing, absolutely nothing, no matter what the emergency,
- 4:08Speaker 1: is allowed on the runway. So the air traffic controller
- 4:11Speaker 1: shouldn't have okayed the truck to cross, And when he
- 4:17Speaker 1: saw what was going to happen, he kept yelling stop, stop, stop.
- 4:20Speaker 1: He kept yelling the truck stop. Now a lot of
- 4:23Speaker 1: experts are looking at that saying that was a mistake too.
- 4:26Speaker 1: It's in the middle of the runway. The last thing
- 4:27Speaker 1: you wanted to do is stop. He should have been
- 4:30Speaker 1: yelling get off the runway, or speed up, or get
- 4:33Speaker 1: out of there, something like that. But telling it to
- 4:35Speaker 1: stop was a mistake. But on the other hand, because
- 4:40Speaker 1: it was stopped right in the center of the runway,
- 4:43Speaker 1: the plane hit the truck with its nose, which is
- 4:47Speaker 1: horrible as it was. People were killed, the two pilots
- 4:50Speaker 1: smashed up the nose of the plane. It might have
- 4:53Speaker 1: been worse if the position was a little different. If
- 4:56Speaker 1: it hit the wing and the engines, it might have
- 4:58Speaker 1: blown up something the fuselage. It might have created a
- 5:01Speaker 1: massive explosion and fire that could have killed everybody on
- 5:05Speaker 1: the plane. So a horrible situation. The stewardess was in
- 5:11Speaker 1: that jump seat, not a regular seat. You know, if
- 5:13Speaker 1: they sit up in the front in that little seat
- 5:14Speaker 1: that pops down, that jump seat with the straps, Well,
- 5:17Speaker 1: that's a very special seat. It's got all kinds of
- 5:20Speaker 1: security on its straps and harnesses, and it's much more
- 5:24Speaker 1: secure than the seat the passengers sit in. They make
- 5:27Speaker 1: it much stronger, much more crash resistant. They make it
- 5:31Speaker 1: much safer. And their excuse is why don't they do
- 5:34Speaker 1: all the passenger seats like Well, their excuse is, you
- 5:38Speaker 1: got to make sure the stewardess survives anything because she's
- 5:40Speaker 1: going to need to take care of the passengers. So
- 5:44Speaker 1: that's why, even though it tore out of the plane
- 5:46Speaker 1: and was ejected, flew out of the plane, the harness
- 5:49Speaker 1: system on it kept her totally secure in it, and
- 5:53Speaker 1: she did get a fractured leg, but otherwise she's fine.
- 5:57Speaker 1: She was thrown three hundred feet out of the plane
- 5:59Speaker 1: landing on the runway. An absolute miracle that she didn't
- 6:03Speaker 1: suffer more injuries, but she'll be okay. Yeah, So that
- 6:08Speaker 1: fire truck was actually three vehicles that we're going to
- 6:10Speaker 1: cross the runway. But there's still no explanation. They got
- 6:14Speaker 1: to wait and investigate the whole thing. And some are
- 6:19Speaker 1: saying this fire truck driver should have realized he's on
- 6:21Speaker 1: a runway, should have look every which way to see
- 6:24Speaker 1: if anything was coming. So there's a lot of blame
- 6:28Speaker 1: to go around, but it's too soon, too soon to
- 6:30Speaker 1: do it. We'll see. Let's get to Iran. We continue
- 6:37Speaker 1: to aggressively strike Iran round the clock. I know the
- 6:42Speaker 1: President said, done that tweet on Saturday forty eight hours
- 6:46Speaker 1: or else we're going to obliterate your number one power plant.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Is there's a few power plants in Aran. There's one
- 6:52Speaker 1: main central power plant, big ten billion dollar power plant.
- 6:56Speaker 1: He said, if he doesn't end in forty eight hours,
- 6:58Speaker 1: we're going to obliterate that power plant. Then yesterday putting
- 7:02Speaker 1: out another tweet, we'll give you five more days to negotiate.
- 7:06Speaker 1: President has been saying that they're negotiating with Iran. This
- 7:11Speaker 1: has been the word for a week. There are negotiating
- 7:13Speaker 1: with Iran. So Iran puts out a statement saying we've
- 7:16Speaker 1: had absolutely no talks with the United States. Now fake news, MSNBC,
- 7:22Speaker 1: the CNN, New York Times because aha, the President lied there.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Iran has said they're not talking to the United States. Well,
- 7:29Speaker 1: there are talks. We have quadruple confirmed it every which way.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Talks have been taking place around the clock. Here's the deal.
- 7:37Speaker 1: There's a third party involved, actually two, there's two other
- 7:41Speaker 1: nations that are the middlemen in these talks. Iran talks
- 7:44Speaker 1: the other nation. They relay the stuff, we relay the
- 7:48Speaker 1: answer back. It's going through another nation. So that's why
- 7:51Speaker 1: Iran is able to tell that. It sounds like a lie,
- 7:54Speaker 1: but it's actually not the Actually, if you look at
- 7:56Speaker 1: the Iranian statement, we are not in talks with the
- 7:59Speaker 1: United States. So that's how they get away with it.
- 8:02Speaker 1: They're doing it to a third party, which is often
- 8:04Speaker 1: the way it's done over there. You know, for all
- 8:07Speaker 1: the talk that this is Israel pushed us into this,
- 8:11Speaker 1: this is net Nyaho leading Trump around. They always want
- 8:14Speaker 1: to convince you that Trump is a puppet of Putin,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and now that he's a puppet of net yah who
- 8:19Speaker 1: he's being led around by net Nya who. But as
- 8:22Speaker 1: much as Israel and net Nya who wanted to get
- 8:24Speaker 1: rid of Iran, it was really the Saudis that pushed
- 8:26Speaker 1: us even harder into this, even the New York Times
- 8:30Speaker 1: admitting that in a big story today, Saudi Arabia pushed
- 8:33Speaker 1: for going after Iran more than anybody. Hey, Bill O'Reilly
- 8:37Speaker 1: will be with us later and his last podcast with
- 8:41Speaker 1: Lindsay Graham, who sees all the intel every day, sees
- 8:44Speaker 1: all the daily intelligence briefings, everything. He'll explain to us later.
- 8:49Speaker 1: There was an imminent threat. There was a very real threat,
- 8:52Speaker 1: and that's why we had to go when we did.
- 8:54Speaker 1: That's why he couldn't wait. We'll get to that later
- 8:56Speaker 1: in the second hour. What that exact imminent threat was
- 8:59Speaker 1: nuclear stuff from Iran and long range missiles. But we
- 9:05Speaker 1: continue to attack round the clock aggressively, striking anything and everything.
- 9:10Speaker 1: We're not going after the power plants right now. But
- 9:13Speaker 1: there are talks, President Trump, you are now having really
- 9:15Speaker 1: good discussions.
- 9:16Speaker 3: They started last night, a little bit the night before that.
- 9:23Speaker 4: And I think they're you know, I think they're very good.
- 9:28Speaker 1: They want to they want peace. They've agreed they will
- 9:31Speaker 1: not have a nuclear weapon, you know, et cetera, et cetera. Yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 1: we'll see. Hey, ICE agents in the airport now. They've
- 9:38Speaker 1: sent the ICE agents into the airport and not the
- 9:42Speaker 1: full not that Minnesota combat uniform with the mask and
- 9:46Speaker 1: look like they're going into Vietnam. Not that uniform. They
- 9:49Speaker 1: got them toned down baseball hats. They just say police,
- 9:52Speaker 1: they don't say ICE on it. But they're really a
- 9:55Speaker 1: big help in the airports because they can do the
- 9:57Speaker 1: security of the perimeter, the front of the line, guard,
- 10:00Speaker 1: the gates and all that stuff, freeing up the TSA
- 10:03Speaker 1: agents just to do the actual inspection. Tom Homan on
- 10:08Speaker 1: the scene checking everything with Icy.
- 10:09Speaker 5: ICE agent's doing is helping TSA plug the holes of security.
- 10:14Speaker 5: For instance, I mentioned they can work exceit lanes and
- 10:17Speaker 5: relieve TSA officers from that duty and put that TSA
- 10:21Speaker 5: officer back on the x ray machine. And when you
- 10:24Speaker 5: go to the airport, you show our identification before you
- 10:27Speaker 5: get to the x ray machine. Maybe they can do that.
- 10:29Speaker 1: And thank God for the left wing Democrats who are
- 10:32Speaker 1: at the airport and are there to scream like maniacs
- 10:35Speaker 1: at the ICE agents. They love to yell and scream.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Here's one woman screaming at the ICE agents. Go back
- 10:42Speaker 1: to your master, Donald Trump, go back to your master
- 10:46Speaker 1: Net Yahoo. If he's still alive, go back to your master.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Then there's another woman screaming. Ice out now, Ice out.
- 10:53Speaker 6: Now.
- 10:54Speaker 1: They hate the Sea law enforcement anywhere. But the ICE
- 10:57Speaker 1: agents were all over the place. A lot of airports yesterday,
- 10:59Speaker 1: Atlantisgo Cleveland, Houston, Fort Myers, New Orleans, New York, JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh.
- 11:08Speaker 1: A lot of ICE agents out there now in San
- 11:11Speaker 1: Francisco at the airport. And this was totally separate. You
- 11:15Speaker 1: remember the President said ICE agents will be in the
- 11:17Speaker 1: airports and they'll arrest any illegals. Well, this incident had
- 11:21Speaker 1: nothing to do with that statement. This was totally different.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Just by coincidence. ICE agents had been tracking an illegal woman,
- 11:29Speaker 1: illegal immigrant who there was a twenty nineteen deportation order.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Seven years ago, she was ordered deported. She's been ducking
- 11:38Speaker 1: and avoiding a law enforcement for seven years now, and
- 11:42Speaker 1: she happened to go into the San Francisco airport. They
- 11:45Speaker 1: followed her there and got her there and they arrested her.
- 11:49Speaker 1: She started screaming, crying, jumping up and down, making a scene,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and of course it's San Francisco. All the left wing
- 11:58Speaker 1: crazy screaming and yelling at ICE taking out their phones.
- 12:01Speaker 1: The videos have gone super viral of this woman being arrested.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But she's totally illegal. The warranted deport her came out
- 12:09Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen. They've been hunting her ever since. This
- 12:12Speaker 1: had nothing to do with the ICE agents at the airport,
- 12:16Speaker 1: but the video all over the place. Now, if you
- 12:20Speaker 1: watch fake news, you're going to see all these stories
- 12:23Speaker 1: about how the lines, the three four hour lines. People
- 12:26Speaker 1: are blaming Republicans and this is not the case. I
- 12:29Speaker 1: think everybody knows. The shutdown is Chuck Schumer and the Democrats.
- 12:33Speaker 1: They will not fund Homeland Security and TSA. This has
- 12:38Speaker 1: nothing to do with ICE. ICE has already funded, they
- 12:40Speaker 1: got all their funding. This is a separate matter. But
- 12:43Speaker 1: they're holding it up, holding up this funding, demanding changes
- 12:47Speaker 1: in ICE and all it. But it's absolutely insane. People
- 12:51Speaker 1: do blame the Democrats. If you're watching NPR or PBS,
- 12:56Speaker 1: you'll see these fake polls that they put out, which
- 13:00Speaker 1: it's very easy to do. You just slant the metrics,
- 13:02Speaker 1: you take the pole in the wrong place with the
- 13:04Speaker 1: wrong people, and you can get whatever results you want.
- 13:07Speaker 1: But we give credit to CNN. CNN changes are happening
- 13:14Speaker 1: over there. A lot of things are changing at CNN's
- 13:17Speaker 1: still left wing and kooky, but every so often they
- 13:20Speaker 1: go totally honest, and they did with a pole. Democrats
- 13:24Speaker 1: and the midterms are in big trouble, totally underwater. CNN
- 13:28Speaker 1: pollsters the lowest ever.
- 13:29Speaker 7: Look at us overall, they are fifty five points underwater.
- 13:34Speaker 7: They're approval rating is south of twenty percent. It's even
- 13:37Speaker 7: worse when you look at Independence. Look at this negative
- 13:40Speaker 7: sixty one points. That means that they're approval rating is
- 13:43Speaker 7: sixty one points lower.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Than their disapproval rating.
- 13:46Speaker 8: Quinnipiac has been polling this question for the better part
- 13:49Speaker 8: of the twenty first century. They have never found Democrats,
- 13:53Speaker 8: at least those in Congress, and worse shape than they
- 13:55Speaker 8: are right now.
- 13:56Speaker 1: You can thank Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jefferies. They've got
- 13:59Speaker 1: you at the lowest poll numbers you've ever been in
- 14:02Speaker 1: in history. Now, why do they put out these fake
- 14:05Speaker 1: poles making it look like Democrats are going to win
- 14:07Speaker 1: while this talk about Democrats will take them into it's
- 14:10Speaker 1: to discourage fundraising for the Republicans. It's to just convince
- 14:15Speaker 1: people to donate to Democrats. But that's the real story.
- 14:19Speaker 1: That's CNN right there. Hey, remind me that we'll ask
- 14:22Speaker 1: Bill O'Riley about this later too. I noticed CNN is
- 14:26Speaker 1: trying out something. You know, you got all these new podcasts.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Sean Hannity has a good one. It's called hanging Out
- 14:33Speaker 1: or something like that, where it's not Sewan with the
- 14:35Speaker 1: suit and tie in the studio. It's Sean looks like
- 14:38Speaker 1: in a basement with a pool table and a dartboard. Casual,
- 14:41Speaker 1: like he's at home, very casual. Now, the guy that
- 14:45Speaker 1: started all of this was Bill Maher with Club Random,
- 14:49Speaker 1: which was actually done in the basement. Now to the
- 14:51Speaker 1: basement of his big mansion with very very expensive looking basement.
- 14:56Speaker 1: But it's in the basement. He's casual, you know, jeans
- 14:59Speaker 1: and a sweater and they're drinking.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Well.
- 15:01Speaker 1: So everybody is copying this now for their podcast, trying
- 15:05Speaker 1: to look as casual as they can get. But everybody
- 15:08Speaker 1: was a little shocked. Yesterday CNN did it on the air.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Jake Tapper when he came on, didn't come on from
- 15:14Speaker 1: the big shiny news set with a suit and tie.
- 15:16Speaker 1: He came on from what looked like a basement. It
- 15:19Speaker 1: sort of is at home office, looking very casual. So
- 15:24Speaker 1: this is this is the new trend. This is supposed
- 15:26Speaker 1: to save television. Actually saves a lot of money on
- 15:30Speaker 1: scenery and lights and all of that. But anyway, we'll
- 15:33Speaker 1: talk about that later. We'll take some calls next. Eight
- 15:35Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number. Hey,
- 15:39Speaker 1: we want some new callers. Sometimes people say you got
- 15:41Speaker 1: a lot of the same callers every day. Well that's
- 15:43Speaker 1: because they're good regulars, but also it's because they know
- 15:47Speaker 1: the number. You know, a lot of people want to call.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I hear that too, I would call I don't know
- 15:51Speaker 1: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:56Speaker 1: That's the number eight hundred three two one zero sevent ten.
- 16:02Speaker 6: Get instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 16:05Speaker 6: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone Show on WR. Hey,
- 16:16Speaker 1: let's take some calls. Let's go to uh Ronnie in Connecticut. Ronnie,
- 16:19Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 16:21Speaker 2: Mark? How you doing? Big Sam? My friend calling from
- 16:24Speaker 2: me Stave in Connecticut. Yeah, I just wanted a call.
- 16:27Speaker 2: I was listening to talk about, you know, the midterms
- 16:30Speaker 2: and CNN and all that. Yeah, I really I don't
- 16:34Speaker 2: know how anybody at this point can vote Democrat. I mean,
- 16:40Speaker 2: this party stands for putting little boys and girls claus
- 16:44Speaker 2: vice versa. You know, I think right now everybody needs
- 16:47Speaker 2: to put their support behind President Trump and what he's doing,
- 16:51Speaker 2: because good luck with that.
- 16:52Speaker 1: One, because half of the people, yeah, crazy, angry, livid,
- 16:56Speaker 1: foaming at the mouth Trump Trump arrangement syndrome, smoke coming
- 17:00Speaker 1: out of their ears. But thanks for calling. Let's go
- 17:02Speaker 1: to Joseph and Westchester. Joseph, how you doing?
- 17:07Speaker 2: Hi? I don't understand, like the incident at Lookwater Airport,
- 17:11Speaker 2: Why why is the police and fire trucks why aren't
- 17:15Speaker 2: they using the NYST the best fire department in the world.
- 17:19Speaker 1: What is the NYSD, n YFD, That's who it was.
- 17:25Speaker 2: No, the Fire Department of New York City. They're not
- 17:28Speaker 2: at the airport.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Well, they do come to the airport. There was a
- 17:30Speaker 1: caravan there of trucks, fire.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Train, I'd say, after the emergency. But they don't work
- 17:35Speaker 2: there regularly. And why is Governor Hockle so quiet on this?
- 17:38Speaker 1: Governor Hockle? I like that, Governor Hockele. Let's go to
- 17:44Speaker 1: Jack and Long Branch. Jack.
- 17:45Speaker 2: How you doing, Hey, Mark Smoan?
- 17:48Speaker 6: How you doing now?
- 17:49Speaker 1: Show listen every day.
- 17:51Speaker 6: The last time I spoke to you, I think was
- 17:53Speaker 6: nineteen seventy nine, you were on fixed radio WBIX.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, you're calling too often. Try to spread the
- 18:00Speaker 1: calls out anyway.
- 18:03Speaker 6: I learned one thing from you that I do all
- 18:05Speaker 6: the time now for the last six months or so,
- 18:07Speaker 6: I wear orange shoelaces.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Very good. Are you in a mental institution or a
- 18:13Speaker 1: prison or something?
- 18:14Speaker 6: And I just broke out a couple of days ago
- 18:16Speaker 6: and I'm as a bird.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Oh okay, you ump the good work.
- 18:20Speaker 9: I love you.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Thanks, thanks for calling. Let's go to h Skeeter calling
- 18:25Speaker 1: from somewhere. Is that your name Skeeter?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yes, Mark Morning, Yes, I gotta I have a quite
- 18:31Speaker 2: You're the inside man for us on many things. For information.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I just want to know, you know, these skunks from
- 18:38Speaker 2: the White House, Brandon Comy Clapper, what's going on with
- 18:43Speaker 2: that whole investigation with them? Weren't they pursuing that?
- 18:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going very slow, very slow. So the problem is, uh,
- 18:51Speaker 1: Trump has never been a ruthless guy.
- 18:53Speaker 6: Uh.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I mean there might be in a war, you know,
- 18:55Speaker 1: in a business deal, but personally he's not ruthless. You
- 18:57Speaker 1: got to be like Biden. You got to be absolutely ruthless,
- 19:00Speaker 1: and you have to have a ruthless you know, Merrick
- 19:03Speaker 1: Garland kind of attorney, don't really go after these people.
- 19:05Speaker 1: And even if you in the case of Biden, even
- 19:08Speaker 1: if they didn't have anything to get him on, they
- 19:10Speaker 1: would just charge him with anything and raid their house
- 19:12Speaker 1: and go through everything and charge them with fifty seven
- 19:15Speaker 1: counts like they did to Trump all the time. I mean,
- 19:18Speaker 1: you look at the four cases. There was nothing there,
- 19:20Speaker 1: absolutely nothing there. All of them will be tossed out
- 19:24Speaker 1: immediately on appeal. That's why they hold up the appeal
- 19:26Speaker 1: and don't let it happen. But he's just not ruthless
- 19:29Speaker 1: enough about it. Let's go to Jay in New Jersey. Jay,
- 19:32Speaker 1: how you doing, Hey?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Mark?
- 19:35Speaker 4: You know I was thinking about you know what, Tucker Carlson,
- 19:38Speaker 4: you know, all the koopy stuffs and recently about the war,
- 19:40Speaker 4: and I ran them much. And I believe I remember
- 19:43Speaker 4: you on his show on Fox, Ain't I right?
- 19:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I used to do the Tucker Carlson so
- 19:48Speaker 1: but back then that was when he was normal. Then
- 19:49Speaker 1: he went off the deep end and became Alex Jones, off,
- 19:54Speaker 1: way off on the fringe. You know what happens sometimes
- 19:57Speaker 1: sometimes these people really are nuts. In the case at Tucker,
- 20:00Speaker 1: what happens is if you're on the big network with
- 20:02Speaker 1: a big show, you're gonna get huge ratings and you're normal.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Now when you get fired and you're doing the show
- 20:07Speaker 1: from home, out of your living room, and you're not
- 20:10Speaker 1: on a network, you got no oub How do you
- 20:12Speaker 1: get attention? Well, you got to say crazy things. That way,
- 20:14Speaker 1: you get written up everywhere. You make some crazy statement,
- 20:17Speaker 1: it goes viral. You're being talked about every That's how
- 20:19Speaker 1: you attract listeners. Megan Kelly the same thing. Who's that
- 20:23Speaker 1: other one? Kandas owns. You got to say crazy stuff,
- 20:26Speaker 1: have it go super viral. That's the only way you'll
- 20:28Speaker 1: get people to your podcast. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 20:32Speaker 1: how you doing, Good.
- 20:33Speaker 9: Morning Mark Mark, I'm okay, Good morning, Mara Mark. I'd
- 20:36Speaker 9: like to clear up something about ma'am and Dami going
- 20:40Speaker 9: to break the Ramadan fast in the joint the Riiker's Island.
- 20:45Speaker 9: Most of those people who laid out prayer, reggential praying
- 20:49Speaker 9: and claiming their Muslims, most of those are African American.
- 20:54Speaker 9: Those people because into jail, they're safety in numbers. The
- 20:59Speaker 9: African American kids, a lot of them become Muslims. Die
- 21:04Speaker 9: ins in the Irish shoes. You hang out together and
- 21:07Speaker 9: the Hispanics have their own rud.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Well.
- 21:09Speaker 1: That's a good point because a lot of people suddenly
- 21:11Speaker 1: become Muslims in prison because it makes it easier for
- 21:13Speaker 1: you in prison. Also, a lot of people suddenly claim
- 21:16Speaker 1: they're Orthodox and have to have a kosher milk. You
- 21:19Speaker 1: get better.
- 21:19Speaker 9: Food that way, because you get better food. I knew
- 21:21Speaker 9: a guy forty years ago. He used to live next
- 21:24Speaker 9: to my mother and anyway, he went to the joint
- 21:31Speaker 9: sexual battery. He tried to rape a stripper.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Right, So he.
- 21:37Speaker 10: Does seven years in the joint, and then when he
- 21:40Speaker 10: gets out, he's on probation. No less, he's out on paroi.
- 21:43Speaker 10: He's on probation. And then what he does is he
- 21:46Speaker 10: feigns being a Connetison meta reader goes into Brooklyn Heights
- 21:51Speaker 10: and he first off, he misses as a parole appointment
- 21:55Speaker 10: for that day, his probation appointment, and he goes and
- 21:58Speaker 10: kills somebody.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Right, Vincent, I don't want you hanging around with these
- 22:01Speaker 1: kinds of people. They're gonna lead you astray.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Mark, he's the best thing. When he came out to
- 22:06Speaker 3: joint the first time. Uh, all of a sudden, he's
- 22:10Speaker 3: where that day Shiki. He has a prayer cap on
- 22:13Speaker 3: and he has the prayer BF. He became a buglam
- 22:18Speaker 3: in jail, Vincent, that's one of the few.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Yes, very good appoint Vincent. A lot of people thanks
- 22:23Speaker 1: for calling. Great call you. A lot of people become Muslims.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Just it makes life a lot easier in prison. Hey,
- 22:28Speaker 1: when we come back to brilliant columnist Liz Peak, we'll
- 22:31Speaker 1: talk to her next on seven to ten wo R
- 22:35Speaker 1: to New York.
- 22:37Speaker 6: Mark Simone w R.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Well, Hey, do we have Liz Peak. Yep, we're getting there,
- 22:47Speaker 1: the great columnist, Liz Peak. We'll talk to her about
- 22:50Speaker 1: all sorts of stuff coming up.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:54Speaker 1: The caller before I said something about the fire truck
- 22:57Speaker 1: at the airport LaGuardia that got hit by the plane,
- 23:00Speaker 1: not being a New York City Fire department. Well, so
- 23:03Speaker 1: I checked. Apparently Port authorityfire handles fires. It's Port Authority
- 23:09Speaker 1: fire trucks, but they're backed up by the New York
- 23:12Speaker 1: Fire Department. So and just in a massive coincidence, I'm
- 23:15Speaker 1: m seeing a lunch today for the fire commissioner. So
- 23:17Speaker 1: I'll get you a definite answer on that. We'll do it.
- 23:20Speaker 1: We'll bring it to you tomorrow, but with us right now.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Liz Peak, the brilliant columnist, and you'll see her all
- 23:27Speaker 1: over television. You reader columns on Foxnews dot com, The
- 23:30Speaker 1: Hill dot com, and even better. Check her website lizpeak
- 23:34Speaker 1: dot com for great news and analysis, and sign up
- 23:37Speaker 1: you'll get a you'll get news and analysis email to
- 23:39Speaker 1: your free every morning lizpeak dot com. Lizpeak, How you doing,
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'm terrific.
- 23:46Speaker 11: Thank you, how about you?
- 23:48Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm good. Where do we even start the shutdown?
- 23:52Speaker 1: The three hour lines, the four hour lines at the airport?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Who's going to get the blame for all of this?
- 23:58Speaker 11: I think everyone is getting blame for this, honestly, Mark,
- 24:03Speaker 11: I mean, I think Republicans are taking the brunt of it,
- 24:06Speaker 11: even though it is Democrats who basically have shut down
- 24:10Speaker 11: the government by refusing to fund DHS. But Republicans are
- 24:14Speaker 11: refusing to fund part of DHS at the Transportation Security Administration,
- 24:19Speaker 11: which mainly is responsible for all these lines that are
- 24:24Speaker 11: making people crazy across the country. And I got to
- 24:27Speaker 11: tell you, I really do think people are just angry
- 24:30Speaker 11: at everybody about it. But because Republicans are in the
- 24:33Speaker 11: majority in Congress and they have the White House, you know.
- 24:37Speaker 2: The buck stops with them.
- 24:39Speaker 11: And a lot of people are saying, look, I don't
- 24:41Speaker 11: care who's to blame, just fix it. And I'm kind
- 24:44Speaker 11: of in that camp because, honestly, I have so many
- 24:47Speaker 11: friends and relatives who have been Wait. Can you imagine
- 24:50Speaker 11: going to the airport four hours early, as the son
- 24:52Speaker 11: of a friend of mine did on the weekend and
- 24:55Speaker 11: almost missing your flight. I mean, the stress level of
- 24:59Speaker 11: all that traveling with little babies and old people. I mean,
- 25:03Speaker 11: imagine if you're trying to get a family through TSA
- 25:06Speaker 11: and you have to wait for three hours. I mean, honestly,
- 25:09Speaker 11: our legislators even thinking about these people or putting themselves
- 25:13Speaker 11: in their shoes. Well, no they're not because guess what
- 25:16Speaker 11: they get escorted through security. That's a custom in almost
- 25:20Speaker 11: every airport. And look, I understand why, maybe it's necessary
- 25:24Speaker 11: for security reasons, but you know, I'll tell you right now.
- 25:27Speaker 11: If you are a representative of mine and I was
- 25:30Speaker 11: in a four hour line and I saw you whisking
- 25:32Speaker 11: through the airports, I would not be happy.
- 25:35Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Well, they say that's why Congress did not leave Washington
- 25:38Speaker 1: this weekend. They didn't want to be seen being whisked through. So,
- 25:42Speaker 1: but why is government so allergic to the private sector.
- 25:45Speaker 1: You know, you could bring in private Some airports use
- 25:47Speaker 1: private security and they have no problem. Yeah, Elon Musk
- 25:50Speaker 1: is offered to pay all the TSA workers. Why not
- 25:52Speaker 1: cooperate with the private sector more?
- 25:55Speaker 11: Well, it's a good question. In fact, there are airports,
- 25:59Speaker 11: isn't it. Or oddly enough, some West coast airport that
- 26:03Speaker 11: is maybe San Francisco run private security and it is
- 26:07Speaker 11: very successful. They don't have this problem, of course, but
- 26:10Speaker 11: in general, my understanding is it's very successful. Why wouldn't
- 26:15Speaker 11: that be an appealing alternative. Why don't we shift over
- 26:18Speaker 11: to privately funded, privately run tsa everywhere in the country
- 26:23Speaker 11: Because these are government employees. Democrats love government employees, which
- 26:29Speaker 11: is why they were hysterical when Elon Musk's doge effort
- 26:34Speaker 11: began to cut the ranks of government employment, and they
- 26:39Speaker 11: vote Democratic almost always.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Now, after this.
- 26:42Speaker 11: Problem, maybe they won't be so eager to do that.
- 26:45Speaker 11: But generally speaking, it is a very incestuous system where
- 26:50Speaker 11: Democrats vote ever bigger benefits and paychecks for government employees
- 26:55Speaker 11: unions and the union's vote for Democrats. I mean, it's
- 26:58Speaker 11: really a pretty horrible system, which is why I remember
- 27:02Speaker 11: FDR said public employees should never be unionized, and I
- 27:06Speaker 11: think he was totally right.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, Liz peak when it comes to Iran, I'm
- 27:10Speaker 1: watching a CNN or MSNBC and they put on somebody
- 27:13Speaker 1: like Senator Mark Kelly who's yelling and screaming the president
- 27:17Speaker 1: has no plan, there's no plan, there's no goal, there's
- 27:19Speaker 1: no objective, it's a little irresponsible to claim. I'm sure
- 27:22Speaker 1: there's a lot of planning and if you can't figure
- 27:24Speaker 1: out what our goal is in Iran, there's really something
- 27:26Speaker 1: wrong with you, isn't there.
- 27:28Speaker 11: Yeah, I think this is really offensive. It's just whatever
- 27:32Speaker 11: Donald Trump does must be wrong in the eyes of Democrats.
- 27:36Speaker 11: But for people like Mark Kelly, who has a pretty
- 27:40Speaker 11: solid understanding of what the military world is like, to
- 27:43Speaker 11: assume that you would go into this conflict, which by
- 27:47Speaker 11: the way, has been extraordinarily successful in a very short
- 27:52Speaker 11: period of time in degrading the enemy's military response and
- 27:58Speaker 11: pretend that we don't know what we're doing doing. Hey,
- 28:00Speaker 11: that's incredibly bad for Morales A shame for him, Shame
- 28:03Speaker 11: on him be he must know better. But see, he
- 28:07Speaker 11: is just wildly antagonistic to this administration because they called
- 28:12Speaker 11: him out on a number of occasions for making utterances,
- 28:17Speaker 11: including the one where they told he basically told our
- 28:20Speaker 11: military people men and women, not to obey order if
- 28:25Speaker 11: you don't believe it's it's legitimate, and that is like
- 28:29Speaker 11: inciting rebellion in our armed forces. I mean, what is he?
- 28:33Speaker 11: Who is he to make that comment and what does
- 28:37Speaker 11: he think the ramifications of it would be it was
- 28:39Speaker 11: incredibly irresponsible. So he you know, the administration has sought
- 28:46Speaker 11: legal action against him, They want to demote him, strip
- 28:49Speaker 11: him of his rank, et cetera. And I think they
- 28:52Speaker 11: were right. I thought that was a pretty horrible thing
- 28:54Speaker 11: he did. But he's an angry man and he's kind
- 28:57Speaker 11: of laying it all out there and being as offensive
- 28:59Speaker 11: his he possibly can. But to your point, yeah, Marquis,
- 29:02Speaker 11: it's really bad acting.
- 29:04Speaker 1: In my viewspeak speaking of offensive, this mayor and his wife.
- 29:08Speaker 1: The mayor is going to prison to pray with the
- 29:10Speaker 1: prisoners of all murdered people. The wife is illustrating the
- 29:15Speaker 1: most anti semitic stuff in the world. Are we going
- 29:17Speaker 1: to get through these four years?
- 29:18Speaker 11: Okay, really good question. Let's just hope it's not eight.
- 29:23Speaker 11: Let's hope we do somehow rally the forces of opposition
- 29:27Speaker 11: and get rid of this guy after four years. My
- 29:30Speaker 11: view is, Mam Donnie is an extraordinary politician in the
- 29:34Speaker 11: sense that he has done absolutely nothing to broaden his
- 29:37Speaker 11: base to appeal to voters who did not support him
- 29:42Speaker 11: in the mayoral election. I think he was selected accidentally.
- 29:46Speaker 11: He's one of these accidental wins where you went up
- 29:49Speaker 11: against a truly hideously unpopular former governor Andrew cmo who
- 29:55Speaker 11: people really didn't like, and you had a sort of
- 29:59Speaker 11: cardboard out forgive me, Curtis leewa Republican candidate that no
- 30:03Speaker 11: one took very seriously. So Mamdani had a clear lane.
- 30:07Speaker 11: He became mayor, and he is rubbing our noses in
- 30:12Speaker 11: everything that we find offensive. And I gotta tell you, going, yes,
- 30:16Speaker 11: going to the prison to pray with people of Muslim
- 30:20Speaker 11: faith instead of ever paying any slight attention to or
- 30:25Speaker 11: showing concern for the victims of crimes that these people
- 30:29Speaker 11: have committed. Honestly, Mark, how insane is that? It certainly
- 30:34Speaker 11: can't be popular unless you're a complete hair brain, fire
- 30:38Speaker 11: on hair liberal. This just doesn't make any sense. So
- 30:42Speaker 11: shame on him, But shame on voters for letting this happen.
- 30:45Speaker 11: Shame on the Jewish community for not realizing what was
- 30:48Speaker 11: about to happen to their people in New York, whom
- 30:53Speaker 11: this guy has no regard for whatsoever. I think it's
- 30:57Speaker 11: absolutely hideous. And again, let's just make sure is not
- 31:00Speaker 11: eight years.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Yeah, well, we love Curtis, but if Andrew Cuomo, you're right,
- 31:04Speaker 1: had stayed out of this. Who knows things might have
- 31:06Speaker 1: been to Can you imagine a guy getting run out
- 31:08Speaker 1: of office, quits and scandal leaves in disgrace, with the
- 31:12Speaker 1: police chasing them out of all.
- 31:14Speaker 11: I mean, honestly, and this is the guy we're going
- 31:16Speaker 11: to make a mayor of New York here. You know,
- 31:19Speaker 11: it's a real insight. Democrats have no options, right, I mean,
- 31:24Speaker 11: most Republicans come from the business world or they have
- 31:27Speaker 11: something to go back to. Democrats have nothing. They are
- 31:30Speaker 11: not able to run a restaurant or build a you know,
- 31:34Speaker 11: a cement planted or you name it. I mean, honestly,
- 31:37Speaker 11: show me five Democrats who have left office and done
- 31:40Speaker 11: anything but run for some other office. That's all they
- 31:44Speaker 11: can think of. It's really it is a it's like
- 31:46Speaker 11: a life sinecure to be on the public dole. And
- 31:51Speaker 11: I don't mean welfare, but I mean the taxpayer dole.
- 31:55Speaker 11: And that's and that is kind of their default option.
- 31:58Speaker 11: Count on or be a commentator at CNBC or MSNBC.
- 32:05Speaker 11: That's also possible.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yeah, well, very good point, Liz Peak, brilliant as always.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Everybody reader columns foxnews dot Com. You can go to
