- 0:00Hello my friends, before we get on with our story today, I just
- 0:02wanted to let everyone know that today's episode was originally
- 0:05supposed to be Patreon exclusive only, but we just had so much
- 0:08fun with Sav running us through Camp Second Chance as Joey,
- 0:11Monty, and Goody, so we just had to bring it to the main feed.
- 0:14So if you like this episode, then you might just like the
- 0:16kind of unhinged content that we bring to the Patreon every
- 0:18month. And with that, on with our show
- 0:20Camp Second. Chance camp, second chance.
- 0:23Camp Second chance. Welcome back to Camp Second
- 0:29Chance Campers. Sav here sitting in the driver's

- 0:38to forge friendships on their first night at camp.
- 0:42As a friendly reminder, this is the second installment of our
- 0:45Camp Second Chance Adventure, which utilizes the Role for
- 0:48Shoes rules system to give players autonomy over the skills
- 0:51they gain. If you missed it or would like a
- 0:54refresher on the rules and these characters, check out Episode 0

- 2:05Perhaps we shall see. But I'm here and I yeah, I'm
- 2:09bringing demolitions. I don't know how.
- 2:11I kind of backed into it. I wanted flowers first.
- 2:14I wanted cars and I wanted flowers.
- 2:16And I got bombs. I got booms.
- 2:17I got bombs. Got demolition?
- 2:19I cannot stress enough how much demolition is way more than
- 2:23booms and bombs. Well, I mean, I guess it's also,
- 2:26you know, careful and careful calculation and planning, but I
- 2:30don't, I don't know it just. Destruction.
- 2:33He's really bad at Jenga. I mean, I'm not good at Jenga.
- 2:39Well, goodbye Rob. OK.
- 2:42Please get the fuck out of you. Get out of my chair, asshole.
- 2:45Fucking twat with that asshole. Who the fuck was that guy?
- 2:49I don't know. I don't know.
- 2:50It's skinny. Save us, Maya.
- 2:53Hey, it's Maya. You can call me Monty.
- 2:56Monty here. Don't know why I'm here.
- 2:58Well, I guess I do know why I'm here.
- 2:59Because I got caught being a professional party thrower.
- 3:03Yep, I am the Hostess with the mostest.
- 3:06So yeah, I'm just going to be spending my time here at camp
- 3:10surviving. Hopefully my Louis Vuittons are
- 3:14not worse for wear after this excursion.
- 3:16But I am bringing memory as a skill to camp because every good
- 3:20socialite knows everything about anyone.
- 3:23Yeah, really not looking forward to this.
- 3:25Like, literally at all. I'm so sorry to hear it campers.
- 3:29I hope that Camp Second Chance can treat you well and that
- 3:33maybe you return home changed. None of us want to be here.
- 3:37I. Doubt.
- 3:38I won't. I won't know trombone, I'll tell
- 3:39you that. Never say never.
- 3:42Perhaps. All right, it is time to zoom
- 3:44back into Camp Second Chance, a summer experience for
- 3:48troublemaking teens whose parents just don't know what the
- 3:51fuck else to do with them. And for many of these teens,
- 3:55Camp Second Chance actually feels like one last chance to
- 3:58find their way. Intake day is winding down.
- 4:03You've unpacked your bags, settled into your bunks, and
- 4:06some of you may have even snuck off to smoke a little something
- 4:09in secret on your way to the night's group activity.
- 4:13The campfire is already lit when you arrive to the pit.
- 4:16So are we. Hey mom, Mom says no drinking
- 4:21but she doesn't know about the weed.
- 4:23Here you go, she. Doesn't know about the green so
- 4:26it's a flower. She loves flowers.
- 4:27Mom loves flowers. Does Monty hit it?
- 4:31No, no, I brought my own cocaine.
- 4:38You're straight, you're right. You know, people, people say,
- 4:40people say bumping. They they say bumping.
- 4:43What's that called Rails that you're doing off the off your
- 4:46hand there I've. Seen goody powder in her nose
- 4:48like 17 times. No, it's cocaine.
- 4:50A true socialite. It's good.
- 4:52It's what's power is what's. Cocaine A.
- 4:56Woman never tells. It's Angel dust.
- 4:58What's Angel dust? It's a it's a.
- 5:00It's a speed. Speed.
- 5:01Juice. What's be juice?
- 5:02It's a it's a it's a white. It's the white snow.
- 5:05Oh, OK. I guess I can.
- 5:08I don't know. I never did that one up.
- 5:11Your father calls. No, dude, I don't know.
- 5:13Yeah I wouldn't smoke anything. Love your ditch weed.
- 5:15I'm so sorry. If I'm going to smoke weed it
- 5:18will be from my personal private grower.
- 5:22OK, like you just eat home, eat grows for you alone.
- 5:26Well, my family. OK, that's.
- 5:28For when we want it for parties. My dad is does not partake.
- 5:31He's again. Very rich.
- 5:33Of his own will. This guy, the guy, the guy that
- 5:35grows the the flowers. I care about flowers and I care.
- 5:37Honey money talks. OK, Yeah, that's true.
- 5:41That's, I mean casino night happened for a reason.
- 5:43It's because I made a lot of money that night and.
- 5:45Yeah, and you and money can get along because money doesn't
- 5:47read. OK, holy shit, that's that's
- 5:52that's smart, clever lady. She destroyed you there?
- 5:55Yeah. You can say you're going to fuck
- 5:57to sleep, don't you fucking look at me.
- 6:00We're we're moving right now. How much is this?
- 6:02Did you? Still go to sleep.
- 6:05Roll for demolition. I'm kidding.
- 6:08I'm kidding. Rolls.
- 6:12Never mind. Yeah, Let me in here.
- 6:14Look in here, all right? The fire is too big.
- 6:19You see it now? It's too smoky.
- 6:21Like someone was overcompensating for their
- 6:24inability to build a fire that would really last.
- 6:28Benches and stumps are arranged in a loose circle, and a peppy
- 6:32counselor claps her hands once and says, all right, campers,
- 6:36time to bring it in. No one does.
- 6:40I I I already hate this. Hi I am I'm goody.
- 6:46No, she kind of looks like ma fuck.
- 6:49I got I got. I'm sorry.
- 6:51Hi, I'm here. I'm.
- 6:54Really excited to be here. No, this is a really cool thing
- 6:56that you're doing. I'm more excited than him to be
- 6:58here. All right, settle down.
- 7:01It's night one, which means introductions and rules, so your
- 7:05hesitation is to be expected. But it's also a fresh
- 7:08opportunity to cause trouble. And when you realize this, you
- 7:11begin wandering toward a seat. I can ugly decide that you look
- 7:15like my mother, and so I'm going to I'm going to do whatever you
- 7:17say, lady. The peppy counselor introduces
- 7:20herself as Lottie. Hi, Lottie.
- 7:22That's my mother's name. No way.
- 7:24Well, it's actually Stella, but she's.
- 7:27That's not Lottie. But I mean, that's a middle
- 7:29name. Stella, Lottie, he lied.
- 7:32I'm used to the lying. It's to be expected.
- 7:34It's part of the job training. That sounds like my mother.
- 7:38Sorry, I'm going to sit down now.
- 7:39I don't know why I don't. Understand.
- 7:44You I told you I don't know the trombone.
- 7:46Lottie steps into the circle to welcome you to the fire.
- 7:50We're going to go around the group.
- 7:52Everyone share your name, a fun fact about you, and something
- 7:56you're hoping to try during your time at camp this summer.
- 8:00Who wants to go first? No one.
- 8:02Hi, I'm goody and I would like to be the the the group
- 8:09president and if I could tell you about anything about myself
- 8:13is that I have written many things that you should read and
- 8:19I'm good at puzzles steps back. A lot of fun facts I'm getting
- 8:23from you, goody. What about something new you
- 8:25would like to try at camp this summer?
- 8:27Steps back forward. I would like to try.
- 8:31There's always one. Bungee jumping.
- 8:35Oh. Lottie looks around at the
- 8:37barren, flat plains of Iowa. Interesting.
- 8:43We'll see what we can do and if we can make that happen.
- 8:46Way to be ambitious. Oh, it's not where we are.
- 8:48Maps is not a skill of mine. I should say it's like.
- 8:51Iowa it. Doesn't need to be Canon that
- 8:54it's Iowa, but you get the gist. It's fucking flat.
- 8:57I just want to jump off something high.
- 8:59Oh, well, yeah, let's definitely make sure that you're strapped
- 9:01into the proper equipment if we're going to do that while at
- 9:04camp. Your parents signed a lot of
- 9:06waivers, but we don't like a mess.
- 9:08NDA. Evidently NDA's were signed as
- 9:12well, but let's limit the splat while we're here if we can.
- 9:16Fine. Well, good to meet you, Goody.
- 9:19Who's next? I guess I'll go.
- 9:22Monty stands up again, aggressively brushes off her
- 9:25clothes. Miss Dara.
- 9:28Yes, Miss Dara, That's me. Monty Stara, you have?
- 9:32Oh, that's so great. I would love to connect later.
- 9:35My name is Monty. I'm here.
- 9:38Pauses for applause. Oh.
- 9:41Oh, no, sorry, Joey. OK, No, no, let's wait till the
- 9:46end to applaud. We don't want anyone to feel
- 9:48left out. Or, you know, favored.
- 9:50Yeah, I'm so sorry. Yeah, You applaud for a lady
- 9:52when she wants applause, lady, right?
- 9:54I mean, excuse me, Miss. Sorry.
- 9:56I don't know. I'm getting flustered.
- 9:58I don't know. You look like my mother.
- 10:00I'm gonna. There is so much fucked upness
- 10:03at this table. Right now.
- 10:05We're all high. They're high.
- 10:10They're high. She's.
- 10:14Speeding. One thing that I would like to
- 10:17accomplish at camp is a little bit of refurbishing, a little
- 10:21bit of I. I feel like I could really take
- 10:23this space and make it shine. Monty, I'm going.
- 10:26To take it upon myself. Monty, your nose is bleeding.
- 10:30Thank you. Oh.
- 10:31You got it, She. Takes out like an embroidered
- 10:33handkerchief with her anagram or whatever the fuck they're
- 10:36called. People do that.
- 10:37Monogram, Monogram. There it is, Pulse.
- 10:40My anagram is 6273. Fuck.
- 10:44She like dabs her nose. Like, sorry, the allergies.
- 10:47There's like a lot of allergies here.
- 10:49Like it's like, what else? Having a really hard time
- 10:51breathing. I hate the outdoors.
- 10:54Oh boy. So that's me.
- 10:56Thank you so much. I look forward to getting to
- 10:57know all of you. What was your fun?
- 11:00Fact. Oh my fun fact.
- 11:02I am rich. Thank you.
- 11:06Wow. OK.
- 11:07Thanks, Monty. You're so welcome.
- 11:09So great to meet you. I know.
- 11:12Who's next? Hi, my name is Joseph Spieler.
- 11:20Good to meet you. Joseph, do you, do you go by
- 11:23Joseph or do you prefer Joey or Joe?
- 11:26Did I say that? I don't remember?
- 11:27I have. Have you heard that around?
- 11:29Is that in my file? It might be.
- 11:32OK, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:34You go for good. Yeah.
- 11:35Let's go for Joey. I I do prefer Joey.
- 11:37I wasn't. I mean, I my mom would want me
- 11:39to introduce myself. So wasn't it Joey in the first
- 11:41place? Yeah, yeah.
- 11:42But my mom, my mom would, would want me to introduce myself.
- 11:47And he can verbally and conceptually explain no further
- 11:52than that. With your full government name.
- 11:58I guess that's that's what I meant.
- 12:00Okay, Joseph, and. My fun fact about myself, I love
- 12:06flowers and cards. Not very good either of them.
- 12:10Like greeting cards? No, like playing cards.
- 12:13I love the feeling of deck in your hand.
- 12:15And you know when your dad says that?
- 12:17Good job, son. I guess those two things
- 12:20related, I don't know. Oh my gosh, I almost forgot my
- 12:23fun fact. Is.
- 12:25I brought coupons for all of you and here she starts to like pass
- 12:29them out and she's like just really walking on her toes so
- 12:32her heels don't sink into the dirt and like handing everyone a
- 12:35coupon and it's like 1 free makeover at Monty's cabin #3.
- 12:41I'd like to use this. Oh OK, I would love to help you
- 12:46later. There's it says I can use it
- 12:48whenever I want. When it makes sense and that's
- 12:50not now, why not? There's like hidden context to
- 12:53the coupon and I'll kind of decide like when you can use it
- 12:56you. Don't get to decide when she
- 12:57puts holes in your jacket. She gets to decide.
- 13:00Oh, OK, you see, but. I really think I could do a lot
- 13:03with your complexion. Thanks.
- 13:06You're welcome. Double fun packs.
- 13:09I like it. You're rich and you got coupons,
- 13:11and in fact, the coupons were a gift.
- 13:12That's very nice of you, Monty. Hopefully we can find the
- 13:16appropriate time for everyone to take advantage of your
- 13:18generosity. We that's why we were talking
- 13:21about about about me and you would suddenly would.
- 13:24Oh, I'm sorry, you can say. Joey, what's something you want
- 13:26to accomplish during your time here at camp?
- 13:28No, I mean, I mean the lady has the floor, the lady has the
- 13:31floor. No, I'm done.
- 13:32Thank you. OK.
- 13:33Well, if you don't want she. Takes Joey's jacket, sets it on
- 13:37the stump and sits on the. Before I'd like twigs poking
- 13:42through it. So nice to see you're already
- 13:44making friends. Yeah, you could say that.
- 13:48Anyways, yeah, Cards, flowers, like I said that I want them to
- 13:51be my thing, not my thing. I guess I do like reluctantly.
- 13:54I like nature, but you can. I mean, I'm a city.
- 13:56I'm a city kid at the end of the day.
- 13:59And I I love, I love a thing that explodes.
- 14:01So. Oh, my dad's a gambling addict.
- 14:04And my mom, my mom's an Angel so.
- 14:07And you look like her. So be to be clear didn't ask for
- 14:10your life story but thanks for sharing but.
- 14:12Yeah, and I know, but I'm, I'm just saying Lonnie looks like my
- 14:16mother, that's all. And you're sweating about it, I
- 14:19can tell. I miss her, the flower shop man,
- 14:24I miss it. Anyway, out wilting.
- 14:26You hear back of the cabin. Just call it the pay phone.

- 15:18that. Oh ma it.
- 15:20Kills me a little inside every time you say oh ma I'm dying
- 15:27please. Tell me if I'm talking too much
- 15:29about any 407 SO. Is is anybody else seeing things
- 15:33in the fire? Like goodies high.
- 15:36That's the ditch weed for you. Did someone say weed?
- 15:39Yes, someone should really get a gardener out here because there
- 15:42are many plants that I can tell should not be here.
- 15:46Yeah, I almost got Poison Ivy earlier.
- 15:48That's. Contributing to my allergies.
- 15:50Oh no, well I will tell you the grounds are very well
- 15:53maintained. We've got a great grounds keeper
- 15:55who tackles that and we leave some of the flora and the fauna
- 15:58around because it creates a real traditional camp experience.
- 16:01So allergies is like part of the package?
- 16:03100% is the great outdoor sweetheart.
- 16:06OK. If you actually reach in the
- 16:08pocket, there, in the in the right there.
- 16:11Yeah, in the jacket. Yeah.
- 16:12All right. Not that one.
- 16:14No, that is this. Your lunch.
- 16:15Not that one, that. 1. Ohk, OK, one all right.
- 16:19Yeah. What's this?
- 16:20It's. It's it's a book you can't,
- 16:24well, you can't read about the fire, I guess.
- 16:26But and I don't. Read anywhere.
- 16:28OK, well the the pictures say what's poisonous and what's not
- 16:31and what's edible and what's pretty and when shit and yeah,
- 16:33whatever. You actually might have to roll
- 16:35for Reed. I'm just kidding.
- 16:37I won't make you guys roll for Reed.
- 16:38Well, Joey has to roll for Reed. Joey might have to roll for
- 16:42Reed. OK, thank you.
- 16:45Yeah, I'll keep this next to my heart.
- 16:49Yeah. And he, he pulls up.
- 16:51He pulls up a little, a little. Notebook and pages through it.
- 16:54Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Wait, Sorry.
- 16:57No problem. I'm just wanted to tell you that
- 17:00I've been studying. You look like a Juliet rose.
- 17:03That's that's that's worth $16,000.
- 17:06You know that Juliet rose, that's the most flower in the
- 17:09world. That's what you are.
- 17:10Juliet Rose. It's expensive.
- 17:13Take that your little, your little.
- 17:15It looks like goody and just. I won a rose.
- 17:18I didn't. I'm I'm trying to beat her, not
- 17:21oh, she's hot. Thank you.
- 17:24Yeah. I immediately sit down and I
- 17:26start whittling. This.
- 17:30This kid's gonna. I'm mentally noting as Joey that
- 17:35I need to be Goody's friend because the amount of times that
- 17:37he just turns, isolates and does something like.
- 17:41Introverted into isolated. Well, I feel like you're making
- 17:44a weapon. You would be probably correct.
- 17:48That's a great point. Please no whittling anything
- 17:51sharp. It's only kind of sharp.
- 17:53What is it? You'll find out when it's.
- 17:56Done. I'm so sorry.
- 17:57We can, and then I'll just confiscate that from you real
- 18:00quick right here. Thank you.
- 18:04Lottie takes it away. Don't worry, I can make the big
- 18:07stuff. I can make the I'm.
- 18:08Not talking to you. OK.
- 18:09Yeah, yeah. OK, OK, settle down or I'll
- 18:12totally lock the S'mores supplies away.
- 18:15It's time to make friends with your camp mates anyway.
- 18:17Please introduce yourself to at least two people and find
- 18:20something you have in common. Ready.
- 18:23Set. Go.
- 18:25Hey, I'm Monty. Joey, you like flowers?
- 18:30Yeah, I like, I love flowers. I'm a Juliet Rose, so yeah.
- 18:34Yeah, that's what I said. Yeah, Yeah.
- 18:36And oh, you're you look like a water meal.
- 18:38I'm a what? A water meal.
- 18:41It's It's the world's smallest flower.
- 18:44I'm not small. But OK.
- 18:48I really that maybe I just had purple in mind.
- 18:51I'm not small. Are you physically small?
- 18:55Probably. Compared to 6-7 Joey over here.
- 19:00A big in spirit. Yeah, and I'm, I'm goody.
- 19:04It's nice to officially meet you, I guess.
- 19:07And I just feel like I've been on a slide lately, you know, a
- 19:12slide down, you know? I have a slide from my bedroom
- 19:16down to my second bedroom. Like that but on the inside.
- 19:20Oh, so we do have something in common, the slide.
- 19:22There's a slide on 17th Street near me where that you you shoot
- 19:25down at you. It'll fuck you right up if
- 19:28you're not ready for it. I think my point has gone around
- 19:32the earth and over the heads. I'm going to sit back for a
- 19:36moment. You guys can keep introducing
- 19:38yourself. I'm going to go back to fucker.
- 19:39Can't whittle here. You go and I give them.
- 19:43I think I deconstruct a small handmade explosive.
- 19:48It's the bomb. I can tell you.
- 19:50I mean, I can tell you like puzzles.
- 19:53OK, I I go, I continue deconstructing some explosive.
- 19:58Can we? Can we can.
- 19:59We roll to see if he can puzzle my bomb back together.
- 20:03You absolutely can, yeah. The Four.
- 20:06Did you roll 2D sixes? No.
- 20:08So you have puzzles 2. I think this counts as a puzzle.
- 20:127. With a seven, I think you put
- 20:16the explosive back together and it looks right, but it's not
- 20:19right on the inside. That's OK buddy, I finished it
- 20:23OK. You did a really good job in a
- 20:25really weird way. Joey, I'm not sure you'd know
- 20:29that anything was different about it.
- 20:30Oh fuck. Based on it looking right.
- 20:32OK, That's all right. That's fair.
- 20:34I just, I made the fuse a little bit more efficient and it goes
- 20:36through here now. Oh, that's really impressive,
- 20:39man. All right, Well, not a little
- 20:41man, are you, big king? I have a lot of size
- 20:45representation. That's a thing that my dad did.
- 20:48It's called nagging. It's something I do
- 20:50subconsciously when I meet someone to make them, you know,
- 20:53feel as if they need my, my approval.
- 20:56I don't mean to do it. It's just a, it's a con man
- 20:59thing. I mean, if you want my approval,
- 21:01do you want to help me give a speech later?
- 21:03Yeah, yeah, I'd love to do that. I mean, you, you man, You're
- 21:07the, you're the most interesting thing here.
- 21:08I always thought my manifesto would be matched best with
- 21:11interpretive dance. All right, So what?
- 21:13Say the the first word first. I do know what dance is.
- 21:17Interpretive dance. You just move the way you feel
- 21:20when I read the words. What do you mean you feel is
- 21:24that? Like the sign language
- 21:25interpreters that are next to people when they give speeches.
- 21:28Exactly. Oh cool.
- 21:31OK. You don't need to read to be
- 21:33able to do that. Wait, I I do know how to read
- 21:37Lady We. Have something in common?
- 21:39Nagging. Wow.
- 21:44Audie, I think this is going great.
- 21:46This is a really good idea for a team building exercise.
- 21:48Slide. I feel like I'm just slipping
- 21:50further and faster if. Your slide is anything like my
- 21:55slide. There's a lot of squishy stuff
- 21:57at the bottom, like big cushions, big stuffed animals,
- 22:00really great lighting. It's just you sliding and you're
- 22:03just relaxed city. You just have a spa slide in
- 22:07your house. Yeah, you don't?
- 22:09No. Oh well, maybe it's never mind.
- 22:12Anyways, I I guess we should ask what kind of slider are you
- 22:15thinking of man 'cause like you keep saying, you're sliding down
- 22:17it. It's a metaphor.
- 22:19OK, go on. I'm sad asshole.
- 22:25I think I I. That was the delivery was talked
- 22:30to Jordan. I'm.
- 22:33Clipping that. That was the most teenager
- 22:39that's ever come I'm. Sad at.
- 22:41All. I think I, I think I just look
- 22:44at you and I say. Honestly man, I don't know how
- 22:46to read, but I really like the shape of the things that you
- 22:50said in the book that you handed me earlier.
- 22:52Thanks, that actually makes me feel very good.
- 22:56Good do. You want a copy of my manifesto?
- 22:58I would love, I would love to. I would love, you know, I'm
- 23:00going to try to read with it. I'm going to try.
- 23:02I'm going to try, my mom always says because I'm dysphetic or
- 23:06whatever. Rob, would you like to roll for
- 23:09something? Don't read.
- 23:11Yeah, don't read. All right, why don't you roll to
- 23:13see if you can read? Goody's going to give Joey a
- 23:16copy of his manifesto. Got it.
- 23:18I I just reached out. So much intent physically.
- 23:23All right, so you're going to roll AD 6 for do anything one to
- 23:26see if you can accomplish the skill read.
- 23:28It's a biodegradable pamphlet. Don't get a wet.
- 23:31That's a all right, you say. You're saying that the power
- 23:37belongs in the hands of the people, but there has to be
- 23:40measures of control that are that.
- 23:42What is this? What is this bipartisan?
- 23:46Exactly. See, if the politics don't
- 23:49circle themselves with theocracy and you have actual conversation
- 23:52and comparison and competition, you have real ideas that come to
- 23:55the surface and the people will rise and they'll be heard.
- 23:59And and no fucking pact funding that's I love that exactly.
- 24:03Get rid of hedge funds. We don't need billionaires, we
- 24:05need people. Wow, wow, no billionaires.
- 24:10Why? What have we ever done to you?
- 24:12Unnecessary, especially with. Appropriate taxes?
- 24:15Exactly. I'm sorry, but my dad, he has
- 24:18spent so much money in charities to help people, so I don't know
- 24:24why you think we're so evil. Wait, wait, like the the tax
- 24:28shelter charities or like the actual charities?
- 24:31A lot of them are the same thing.
- 24:32Well, I don't know. We have like a fundraiser every
- 24:34year and. You have a fundraiser that you
- 24:36donate to for yourself. No.
- 24:38So we throw a fundraiser. My mom actually lets me party
- 24:41planet and we throw it every year in the Sterra name.
- 24:46And then all the proceeds. All the proceeds, by the way, go
- 24:49to various charities in the area that need our help.
- 24:52OK. How much did you pay in taxes
- 24:54this year? I'm just wondering.
- 24:56I'm 17. OK, that's.
- 24:57That's, that's fucking fair. I speak with the voice of a 50
- 25:00year old, so I don't know. What do you want from me?
- 25:04I don't think I'm ever going to need to do taxes.
- 25:07I have a very, very hefty trust fund.
- 25:10OK, that's that's that's super cool for you.
- 25:12Oh, I know how to read. Have you ever considered using
- 25:15your trust fund for political purpose of your own?
- 25:19Yeah, of course. I mean, I'm trying to start a
- 25:20secret society, so I think I'll probably put some funds into
- 25:23that. I really think the school
- 25:25lunches need help. It's disgraceful what they're
- 25:29feeding us these days. I always pack my own.
- 25:31Of course Patrice knows what I like, but watching everyone else
- 25:35eat it? Disgusting.
- 25:36I think we should join forces and I give I'm going to Slip a
- 25:40puzzle piece that has the illuminators symbol on the back
- 25:44of it. The Illuminators.
- 25:45The Illuminators. What are you trying to light up?
- 25:50Oh. Everything.
- 25:52I, I mean, that's I, I kind of like that because then you can't
- 25:56hide. Joey, you can have one too.
- 25:58OK, you're sure because I just be quiet.
- 26:01About it It's a secret society. If you're trying to do like a
- 26:04whole society thing, I feel like the puzzle piece is like a
- 26:06little bit tacky, but we can work on them.
- 26:08Fine. OK, I'll take your puzzle piece.
- 26:11I mean, it seems really important to him, lady.
- 26:13Like you should just not not really criticize themselves.
- 26:16Isn't the way you just looked at Ruff for?
- 26:18Giving you any criticism as Joey, It's wild.
- 26:21I wish we had. Like.
- 26:24She gave him the stick at How dare.
- 26:25You speak down for. Tangent or eye at this table.
- 26:29Anyways, I think I learned to read too everybody.
- 26:33Hey, Joey, can. Rest Joey is the proud, broad
- 26:35owner of a brain cell. And I have.
- 26:38The first two members of the illusion.
- 26:40Goody, I was wondering if you wanted to consider attempting to
- 26:43develop a new skill by using puzzles to try and accomplish a
- 26:47more specific, sneakier version of puzzle.
- 26:50So can you think of a skill or can anyone else help brainstorm
- 26:53a skill that is sort of like puzzles with a sneaky twist?
- 26:56I would love to kind of passively organize the fire
- 27:01branches so that I could time when break and so that I could
- 27:06hand out my puzzle pieces secretly.
- 27:08In time with the noise. Oh what?
- 27:10What could we call? That.
- 27:11Fire Tetris. Fire Tetris.
- 27:15Pyrotechnics. Yeah, I think it's kind of a
- 27:18suave. I look, I go walk up to the fire
- 27:20and Batty comes out and I kick the one of the TP branches
- 27:24that's structurally for the fire and I walk away and I get all my
- 27:28puzzle pieces right out to hand to people.
- 27:30And it has a little secret, but it's like, keep a secret.
- 27:32What about? Pyro Puzzles.
- 27:34Pyro Puzzles. So problem solving related to
- 27:38fire. Yeah.
- 27:40Let's see, so you'll roll to die for puzzles and see if we can
- 27:46level up that skill. That's A1 and A5.
- 27:51Wah wah, wah wah. Joey did did 3 is are are they
- 27:58wearing shoes? I'm pretty sure they just took
- 28:00their shoes off. Again.
- 28:02Oh, that's not good. I just saw it first.
- 28:03Maybe they should go, yeah. I'll go help.
- 28:05OK, this one shoe by the fire and one shoe like leading into
- 28:08the crowd. Good, good guy.
- 28:09Well, your. Shoes shouldn't be off, right?
- 28:11Like they should be on, I mean earlier, right?
- 28:13Like he's by handing them out to you, kind of like gesturing.
- 28:17Drops them at your feet now. I have all my puzzle pieces like
- 28:20hidden in my hands and under my shirt like you.
- 28:23Just can't really prevent the anachry when without the shoes,
- 28:25can you? What are you talking about?
- 28:27Hey, I can see the the illuminators symbols and then
- 28:32excuse me, I'm. It's a secret society, you're
- 28:35right. Anyways I will take one.
- 28:38Thank you. Where did my?
- 28:39Shoes go. And why do I feel so good and
- 28:42lie? Can Monty roll for Pep?
- 28:44Talk. Absolutely.
- 28:45So we'll roll do anything one and see if we can get you a six?
- 28:49Nope. What'd you roll?
- 28:50A2. Probably not enough XP to change
- 28:54that. No, I haven't failed enough.
- 28:56I think Patty's going to climb a tree.
- 28:59Oh. OK, in response to the pep talk.
- 29:02I think that Monty like goes to the base of the trunk and looks
- 29:05up to Goody. Buddy Batty.
- 29:08Batty Batty remember every proper gentle them wears their
- 29:14shoes at all time. I am nothing of a gentle them
- 29:19right now. But what if you were?
- 29:22Why would I be? Because everyone wants to be a
- 29:25gentle them. That's the problem.
- 29:27We are top tier socialites, we have to present the best version
- 29:32of ourselves at all times. I will set the classic system on
- 29:36fire. Well, OK, So what if it's not
- 29:39like a class thing? And what if it's just like a,
- 29:40like a, you know, like a manners thing?
- 29:44Manners. Yeah, like when you're like
- 29:46trying to be part of a group and you need to like be a nice
- 29:49person and. If I put my shoes on, will you
- 29:52stop talking? Definitely OK.
- 29:57Amazing. OK finally the chatter starts to
- 30:00settle down and your tummies start to rumble.
- 30:03The munchies are kicking in, but when you look around the S'mores
- 30:07supplies are gone. Patrice would.
- 30:11Never, ma. Sorry, What the Lottie?
- 30:14Miss Lottie? The S'mores stuff.
- 30:15Where the where, where? Where's it at?
- 30:17One of the reasons I came were for the S'mores.
- 30:20Lottie is also gone. Ma.
- 30:23In fact, there's no sign of a responsible adult anywhere, but
- 30:29just as quickly as you realize you're unsupervised.
- 30:32Oh fuck. A glowing hot spark lands on a
- 30:36supply box, igniting in a fountain of flames as a can of
- 30:40kerosene begins to blaze. Good enough, I love it.
- 30:43She kicks off the shoes. You and your campers are at
- 30:47risk. This fire is growing at an
- 30:49alarming, uncontrollable rate. But more importantly, you've
- 30:53begun to suspect that Lottie locked away the S'more supplies
- 30:56after all, and undoubtedly left with the key.
- 31:00The fire blaze is hot and supply bins begin to burn, threatening
- 31:04those sweet, vulnerable snacks that you know are hidden within
- 31:08them. Oh, Oh, no, no, no, no.
- 31:11Can Monty roll for memory to see if she remembered anything?
- 31:15Like where a hose would be a bucket of water, A lake.
- 31:19Absolutely. OK cool, so Monty has memory at
- 31:22skill level 2. The Seven.
- 31:24All told, 7 is not enough to remember. +1 H or XP for an. 8
- 31:30XP can only be used to change your die in the case of leveling
- 31:35up, so we can't use XP to succeed in a check, but you'll
- 31:38be able to use those XP later when you get close to all sixes.
- 31:42A7 isn't enough for Monty to remember where like a hose might
- 31:45be, but when you chased Goody up the tree, you did see the shed
- 31:52nearby where the Canoes and kayaks and water sports are
- 31:56kept. You know that there's probably
- 31:59some coolers nearby where they keep water so that campers can
- 32:03have a refreshing drink after they get out of the pond.
- 32:06Hey, Joey. Yeah.
- 32:08You know what puts out a fire? Bigger, bigger fire.
- 32:10Explosions. That's what I was thinking cuz
- 32:12like it can. If it's not, then it'll be on
- 32:14fire. You got your bum.
- 32:16I got my bum buddy. Let's go blow stuff up.
- 32:19That's what I was thinking. I think we should put this out
- 32:22if we have any chance of having any sort of dessert tonight.
- 32:25Well, we're not going to get if we run for the water, the
- 32:28chocolate's going to be melty. Isn't.
- 32:30That. The point to melt the I don't
- 32:32know. I don't do this.
- 32:32Patrice's for me. Patrice's Patrice.
- 32:36My gosh, I just have to do everything myself.
- 32:38Monty is going to reluctantly step out of her heels, set them
- 32:43on top of the stump on top of Joey's jacket, wrap them
- 32:49precious second yes, and then run towards the cooler.
- 32:53OK, I want to try to drag it over and saying like, guys, help
- 32:58me, I am a lady, I shouldn't have to be doing this myself.
- 33:00I can't believe I'm doing this all of my own.
- 33:02Patrice would never do this to me.
- 33:04This. Isn't blowing it up.
- 33:06Why don't you roll for that to see if you're tiny?
- 33:08Roll for independent. Strong enough to pull this like
- 33:13igloo cooler of water? Can I roll for swole roll?
- 33:16For. Swole, we'll see.
- 33:19Come on, baby Pilates. OK, I got a six.
- 33:25Auntie. A swole, got it.
- 33:28Auntie has achieved. Swole Pilates.
- 33:31Well, it's from Pilates that I take every morning before
- 33:35school. Pilates incredible.
- 33:39OK Monty is coming out. Strong, gentle themes.
- 33:42OK, OK. Well, I'm not sure if that's
- 33:45going to do it fully, but we might need to blow it up.
- 33:47And over here we can use the ice and then we can use all the
- 33:50bottles. And I just hate to waste bottled
- 33:52water, especially here. I don't know if they're going to
- 33:54make me drink tap later. It's.
- 33:55Going to smell like let me just try to blow it up.
- 33:58No, no. Monty has succeeded in pulling
- 34:01the water cooler over to the fire, so now it's there.
- 34:04I don't know. You could roll to see if you're
- 34:06strong enough to lift the full thing and dump it onto the fire.
- 34:09I'm telling her no, stop. I'm going to blow it right.
- 34:12What if we put the bomb in the water next to the fire?
- 34:15How much? How much bomb would it take to
- 34:16displace the water in the cooler that's.
- 34:19About 5 tons, 2 tons -1 like that's.
- 34:23Monty is just like unscrewing caps and like squeezing the
- 34:26water, undoing caps, squeezing, pausing to put her hair behind
- 34:29her ears and dab her sweat, opening the bottle, squeezing it
- 34:33out onto. The flames, Yeah, Like these
- 34:34just individuals. Personal water bottles.
- 34:37How bad is this just? Throwing the water bottles into
- 34:40the. Into the fire behind her.
- 34:42It's a. Big fire.
- 34:44So the crate has fully caught at this point.
- 34:46There. OK, so there are crates nearby
- 34:48to the bonfire where maybe counselors and the camp would
- 34:52keep, they would tuck more supplies away.
- 34:54They might keep extra ponchos. They might have their little
- 34:58things of kerosene, some matches, some extra firewood,
- 35:02some bug spray, great idea. Some sunscreen, little bit of
- 35:05first aid. There's just various things in
- 35:07these crates. Some people were sitting on them
- 35:08at the start of the fire. They're nearby enough that
- 35:10they're sort of like supply, supply boxes for camp
- 35:14activities. They are currently like, if not
- 35:17fully caught on fire, they're sparking.
- 35:18They're this fire is starting to spread.
- 35:20They're big wooden crates, so they've got some time, but they
- 35:23are, they're wood. They're gonna, they're gonna
- 35:25blaze all. Right, Keep squeezing.
- 35:27Keep squeezing the bottle. Squeezing as fast as I can.
- 35:30Are you able to help? If you could help me.
- 35:32Please let me blow it up. Please.
- 35:34I OK, if you can think of something smart to do with this,
- 35:37you take it I. Have to get my skirt dry cleaned
- 35:39up for this is ridiculous. I give Goodie the improvised
- 35:43explosive. I want to take my shoes off and
- 35:46my eyes just go beady and I run over to the cooler and I put the
- 35:53the bomb next. To the edge.
- 35:54Where the cooler would blow up over the fire like kind of Rube
- 35:58Goldberg almost machine ish and I light the fuse and hope that I
- 36:03did a good job. OK, that's amazing.
- 36:05I imagine this is so much longer.
- 36:06The whole time it's like what the fuck?
- 36:08Oh, that's actually pretty OK. Yeah, that's pretty smart.
- 36:11Like moving a bench and I'm putting this the tarp over to
- 36:14the. Left you don't know why.
- 36:16Yeah, yeah, I. Would say that sounds like a
- 36:18puzzle to me, so I'm gonna let you roll for puzzles which you
- 36:20have at a skill level of two. SO 2 can.
- 36:23I help since I'm doing helping with demolitions technically.
- 36:26You can help with demolitions. SO2 dice plus one.
- 36:31That's a six and a 2 and 8. +19. +199.
- 36:37I'm going to say that's enough. Yes.
- 36:39Nice. So you remind me again, you've
- 36:41put this improvised explosive into the water cooler, Yes?
- 36:46Next to the fire, yeah, in a way that you'd see the explosion,
- 36:50like flip something up into the air and the water go high enough
- 36:54to fall onto the. Got it.
- 36:55You're hoping to create a fount. Yeah, instead of trying to flip
- 36:58this water up and scoop it or anything, I put it like up onto
- 37:01a bench and put the bum underneath it so that it blows
- 37:04up, up and over. OK.
- 37:06With like a chaotic. In my eyes, I'm like.
- 37:09Oh my God. Oh my God.
- 37:09Oh my God. I imagine it happens in slow MO
- 37:12and I just watch and I just kind of think to myself.
- 37:15We're gonna go a long way. Together.
- 37:17You see the reflection of the explosion of my eyes and just a
- 37:20smile on my face like the. Future.
- 37:23Yeah. So it was enough to successfully
- 37:26like, set and explode this improvised explosive.
- 37:30But when you put it back together earlier, it wasn't
- 37:33quite right. So instead of exploding all the
- 37:36way, at first it gives a pop and tips the bucket over, spilling
- 37:40the water onto the base of the flames.
- 37:42OK. And then it explodes and then
- 37:46you more sparks into the air. You've you've managed to sort of
- 37:49like quell the edges of this big bonfire, maybe keep it away from
- 37:54some of the crates for a little while longer, but you've also
- 37:56created more sparks in the air, which all have the potential to
- 37:59land on those nearby dry. Weeds.
- 38:01My jacket, my jacket, my jacket and.
- 38:03Your shoes touch shoes. They're on.
- 38:04A little batons, you don't want to touch it, but on.
- 38:08Fire. No, they're fire resistant.
- 38:10It's the newest line, yeah. My jacket's fully on fire.
- 38:13And you think your shoes? Are gonna be my shoes will be
- 38:15fine. OK, lady, OK.
- 38:17Don't. Worry she like sprays a water
- 38:19mushroom like. They better be waterproof for
- 38:23what you paid. I mean, fire resistant, yeah.
- 38:25My dad got me that jacket. They're made to like if you were
- 38:28in a plane crash, you could walk out strutting.
- 38:31You know, like they are made to last.
- 38:33OK. Ask her how much you paid for
- 38:35them. Juliet Rolls Royth, I'm sure.
- 38:37I don't know. I don't.
- 38:38Well, now you can read, so you could probably read the number.
- 38:41Yeah, you're a real. Rude lady.
- 38:42I don't know. Moving on, I can read you right.
- 38:46I'm putting my shoes. Back I'm like, that was
- 38:48incredible. Where?
- 38:49Where is the the leader, Lady Lottie?
- 38:53You don't see her. The fire continues to blaze and
- 38:56you start to smell singed Graham crackers.
- 39:00Shit, melty marshmallow smells like Rice Krispies.
- 39:04Wait, wait, I thought we put the fire out.
- 39:07No what? Do you mean we put the fire put
- 39:08it at the base of the fire? I said that in tipping over the
- 39:11water cooler, you've quelled some of the flames at the edge
- 39:13of the fire pit. The fire is still blazing and
- 39:16there are embers falling from the sky due to the delayed
- 39:19explosive. You're still battling a fire,
- 39:21but you've got a little bit more under control.
- 39:23Well, you wasted all the water. Well, I.
- 39:27Didn't I think of dumping the cooler out?
- 39:28Like that would've made so much more sense.
- 39:30OK, so there were Canoes and kayaks.
- 39:32What if we go and like fill them with water and drag them here?
- 39:35That means there's a lake nearby.
- 39:37Right, but we have to get the water from the lake to here and
- 39:41like preferably soon because? Yeah, it smells like.
- 39:44Chocolate. Cause no s'mores.
- 39:47Are there gutters on the cabins? Oh my gosh.
- 39:49We could make like a like, oh, what do they do?
- 39:52Irrigation and farms? Yeah, my dad funded those ones.
- 39:56We could do that. It's been a particularly dry
- 39:58summer and the gutters drained to the ground.
- 40:02OK, well, that's not that's not going to help us.
- 40:05Do we have other people here? There are other people here.
- 40:07They're not very helpful. Your fellow campers would sooner
- 40:10watch the whole camp burn down than save the day.
- 40:13OK, OK. Well.
- 40:15Can I roll? Can I roll to to use?
- 40:17My manifesto energy to convince them to do a water bucket line
- 40:22from the lake. Yeah, you absolutely can.
- 40:25You'll start with do anything one.
- 40:28I quote his manifesto as he does it as like his actions reflect
- 40:33his words. What the kids say.
- 40:36Power. Power for the people.
- 40:38But led by the people. One has to step up first.
- 40:41Yeah, he's doing it. He's the kids doing it.
- 40:43We need to start from a place, people that we build together.
- 40:48We need to come together now, not for the future, not for
- 40:51anything other than the snacks. He sounds like a fucking younger
- 40:54FDR or something. What you roll?
- 40:57That's a. Three.
- 40:58How much XP do you have? I have two.
- 41:02Now you have 3 buddy. Good job.
- 41:04OK, well, OK, we can improvise. OK, No party is a bad party.
- 41:08What motivates people? The best?
- 41:10Music. OK, so were our phones
- 41:12confiscated? They sure were cool.
- 41:17Believe it or not, I do actually know electric guitar.
- 41:19You do? Did you bring it with you?
- 41:21No, but I mean. Can you maybe like sing the
- 41:24electric guitar that you would play?
- 41:36I did play the bass a little bit when I was younger.
- 41:41OK, OK, everybody. OK, Get in a line.
- 41:44Everybody get in a line, grab a bucket.
- 41:46We got this. OK.
- 41:47Yep. Fill the bucket.
- 41:49Pass the bucket. Fill the bucket.
- 41:50Pass the bucket. All right, let's see a roll,
- 41:52Monty. Oh God.
- 41:54For Swole, I think do anything. Since this doesn't seem very
- 41:57related to school or memory, we'll roll to do anything and
- 42:01see if we can get you. I don't know, bardic inspiration
- 42:05as a skill or something. It's a one.
- 42:09Damn, make sure you're keeping track of your XP.
- 42:12Oh yeah. All right, the fire continues to
- 42:15blaze. The crates are crackling.
- 42:18I won't give up on our spores. What do we do?
- 42:20The the kids can't. No, the kids aren't enough.
- 42:22We need the creatures of the wildlife we are.
- 42:25All kids, even you. You're a kid.
- 42:28You're a weird voice person, man, No.
- 42:30I mean, I mean, yeah, I'm a kid, but like, I'm, I'm 19.
- 42:33Oh my gosh. What are you?
- 42:34What are you 16? I mean in 1/2.
- 42:37We don't have time for this. Monty's going to run over to a
- 42:41tree and roll for swole and try to, like, break a branch off the
- 42:46tree. Her hope is to, like, push the
- 42:49crate, like, out of the fire. OK, I love it.
- 42:51We have to save the snacks, all right?
- 42:55This time I'm bored. I'm like OK.
- 42:57How can I? Help.
- 42:57All right, since you've got swole at level 2, let's see two
- 43:00dice this. Lady, see you guys, let me blow
- 43:04it up. This is 6 total.
- 43:07I thought it was a good idea. I think you're able to snap a
- 43:09small branch off of the tree. OK OK this should be fine and
- 43:13she's just going over and start like pushing the crate away from
- 43:16the fire. Like you don't want to meet me
- 43:18without my late night sweet treat, I think.
- 43:20You're going to need a little help you guys.
- 43:23I was going to look around for a a blanket.
- 43:27You see blankets. There are blankets all over the
- 43:29fire. They were sitting on the benches
- 43:31and the log. I have Joey's coat here here.
- 43:33Yeah, I grab Joey's coat. She picks up her Louis Vuitton
- 43:35cradles then. Which has been stretched.
- 43:37And is much larger than it needs to be.
- 43:39And I I run to the lake and I soak it in the water and I run
- 43:44over and I throw it over the the crate.
- 43:47OK, let's roll for some speed here.
- 43:49How quick do you think you did that?
- 43:51I think you just hear me like I got it, I got it, I got it, I
- 43:54got it, I got it. Let's find out.
- 44:01Unless you think of a different applicable skill that you'd want
- 44:04to. Strive for when you said roll
- 44:06for speed. Monty's ears perk up.
- 44:09Speed. Just one nice.
- 44:12Yeah, just one. 6:00 Nice. Ask this kid in class.
- 44:19For sure. All right, Goody.
- 44:20What do you think you want this skill to be?
- 44:22Speed. Running out of my shoes.
- 44:25Running without shoes. Yes, running.
- 44:26Yeah, we'll do. Running without shoes, barefoot.
- 44:28Running. Damn.
- 44:30So you soaked Joey's coat or you soaked a couple blankets?
- 44:34I think both, but Joey's coat got wrapped up with and I think
- 44:38I accidentally scooped the heels.
- 44:41No, I'm cradling them. She did.
- 44:43Say that not. They are not.
- 44:46She's got an air tag on. My.
- 44:48Phone account but. It was just a couple blankets.
- 44:51I can call Patrice on the home phone and.
- 44:54All right, what do you think you throw the blankets on 1st the
- 44:56fire the crates? I think Joey.
- 44:59Throw the jacket over the snacks to be burned and whatever is
- 45:03left and then I throw 1. Of the crates, the big soaked
- 45:06blankets I throw over the the the biggest fire.
- 45:09OK, I'm going to have you roll 4 puzzles.
- 45:13OK, you have two dice. I'm on pyro puzzles.
- 45:18That's a one and a four. That's a 51. 1 I think you did a
- 45:22really, really, really great job of slowing this fire down, but
- 45:26it was burning really hot. So it gets really dark around
- 45:29the fire for a moment because you've suffocated a lot of it.
- 45:32The snacks are seeming to be faring better.
- 45:34OK, we've postponed the demolition of the S'more
- 45:38supplies for a few minutes longer.
- 45:40The fire was so hot it starts burning through the blankets.
- 45:43But you were on the right. Track can Joey roll for read the
- 45:47situation and how to best to like literally like what is the
- 45:52by your DM logic the most the quickest solution here in terms
- 45:56of resources that we have around us?
- 45:58You're saying you wanna read to see if I can give you hints as
- 46:01to what to do next? Yeah, roll for do anything.
- 46:06Not read. Not read.
- 46:08Because we could call it between the lines.
- 46:10You know what? Yeah, let's say this.
- 46:12There was a campers handbook that you all received on your
- 46:14bus ride I love. This.
- 46:16Roll for read. Awesome, a scale level of two to
- 46:19see what maybe you gleaned. That is A4 and A5 and I'm going
- 46:25to use my three XP to level that up.
- 46:27OK, what do you want to level it up to?
- 46:29I would like it to become between the lines.
- 46:31Between the lines. I love that.
- 46:33Which I I equate that to insight or instinct.
- 46:36OK. So that becomes between the
- 46:38lines three. Oh my God.
- 46:40Joey is a big softy. He is a big softy.
- 46:43You remember on the bus ride you were reading, skimming through
- 46:47the pamphlet before you could read really well.
- 46:50And you remember the emergency section about what to do in the
- 46:54cabins if there was a fire. And you remember there's fire
- 46:56extinguishers in the cabins. God, guys, what are we doing?
- 47:01There's fire extinguishers, Ma told.
- 47:03Us and I. Well, Ma told us to read the
- 47:07things and I read the thing and I run and I Sprint to go.
- 47:10Actually no. I look towards Goody and I say
- 47:12hey fast 1 fast kid, go to the cabins, they got extinguishers
- 47:16in there. I run so fast in the cabins and
- 47:18spend an obscene time in there looking.
- 47:20Good. Because Monty, as you're running
- 47:22away, says I took it off the wall because it was an eyesore.
- 47:25It's under my bed. What did you say?
- 47:31I I, I over to I throw everyone's bed upside down.
- 47:36I destroy the cabin. We're.
- 47:38Going to return to a bad, bad cabin, yeah?
- 47:41Where's my other explosive? Going There's pillows and
- 47:44blankets everywhere. I and I tipped over your vanity
- 47:47while I was like going under your bed and I found it.
- 47:49I found it. I run out and I run barefoot to
- 47:52the fire. OK, let's roll for barefoot
- 47:53running. So that's to die now that you've
- 47:56you've gotten that skill level. That's A1 and A5.
- 48:00OK, A6 total, I'd say you made pretty good time, but you'd
- 48:05absolutely destroyed the cabins and I have a feeling that
- 48:07Monty's going to be pissed at you for it later.
- 48:11I'm not. I'm thinking about the.
- 48:12Snacks. So too, are the counselors.
- 48:13I'm stoned. Don't hungry, you've got the
- 48:16munchies. I have it in my head that Joey
- 48:19set up like a little House of Cards by his bunk and it's still
- 48:23up after all of your crazy shit. It's like one of the only things
- 48:26that's untouched. I like delicately walk around it
- 48:29and then everything else. Can't mess that up.
- 48:32Thanks buddy, I appreciate that about it.
- 48:34I ran to Joey though and I throw the fire extroversion at you
- 48:38from like 3 feet away. Did.
- 48:41You miss it? Yeah, I think it hits Joey like
- 48:43mainly in the skull but also in the torso, enough for him to
- 48:46grab it. All right, Yeah, you're doing
- 48:48good. Fucking good job, but good job
- 48:51buddy. Save the spores for the people.
- 48:53You're right, they need. A sweet little tree like.
- 48:56Yesterday. Fully douse it entirely on the
- 49:02s'mores without like a hesitance towards anything else.
- 49:06If it's clear that s'mores go out, I turn towards anything
- 49:10that's remaining towards the larger fire.
- 49:12But my priority is to ensure that the s'mores are fully fully
- 49:17out. Yes, well done.
- 49:19So you extinguish the crates and they are no longer on fire.
- 49:25At the same time I say good. Go get another.
- 49:27No matter what. Another extinguisher.
- 49:29There's more than one cabin, right?
- 49:31Yes. Terrorizes a second cabin.
- 49:35Oh my gosh. Well, wait, so you successfully
- 49:37put out the crates? They're in great shape, and
- 49:40since Monty was working so hard to use that branch to move them
- 49:43away, there's some teamwork happening now that the fires
- 49:45died down. A little bit right between the
- 49:47lines. You read between the lines.
- 49:50You also successfully put out the rest of the bonfire.
- 49:54Oh fucking amazing this is. Mom's going to be so proud.
- 49:58Now I'm cold. And it's dark.
- 50:01It puts my tattered destruction. Some of the kids Boo you.
- 50:07They were having fun watching the chaos unfold.
- 50:11Okay, yeah, I mean what? How did your mother's raise the?
- 50:14Party must go on. My Louboutin survived, but the
- 50:16party must go on. This just can't happen.
- 50:19People are booing. Do you guys want to make us
- 50:21more? With what fire?
- 50:25She's just, like, sadly munching on a Graham cracker.
- 50:29Yes, you have. It sounds like Monty opened the
- 50:32crates that are no longer on fire and discovered some of the
- 50:35snacks remain intact. Can I roll for second chance
- 50:38snacks and make s'mores out of the melted chocolate and
- 50:41marshmallow and Graham crackers? I would call that a puzzle so
- 50:44you can roll 2 dice. A s'more is a puzzle.
- 50:48That's 2 ones, so there's those. S'mores are in rough shape, you
- 50:55do find. At the very bottom of the
- 50:57crates, you push aside the S'more supplies and the
- 51:00sunscreen and the bug spray, and you find some really old Golden
- 51:05Valley granola bars. You know, the really, really
- 51:07crumbly kind. Of really just like dust.
- 51:09Sand. In your bed.
- 51:10Most of the bar ends up in the bottom of the bag.
- 51:12You find those? You could.
- 51:14Awesome. My used to put this on her
- 51:18favorite Sunday casserole. She.
- 51:21Granola. Sprinkle on top and then she put
- 51:23a little, what do you call it comes out of cows, Greek, Greek,
- 51:27Greek cows, I think yogurt, Greek yogurt.
- 51:31Yogurt. Yeah.
- 51:31Greek cows, right? Well, we have ours imported from
- 51:35Greece, but I don't know if that's why it's called Greek
- 51:37yogurt. Yeah, it's probably, probably.
- 51:39Probably right. Probably right.
- 51:40It's probably right. Neither of us know which one of
- 51:42the others referring to which option is right.
- 51:45I'll just imagine my my morning parfait when I eat these crumbly
- 51:49little granolas. I think my new friends are
- 51:52idiots. Did I say that out loud?
- 51:55I miss Patrice. I mean, you got a, you got a
- 51:57point, buddy. The fire is only embers now.
- 52:02Bloody returns, red eyes and lipstick smudged.
- 52:06Girl Monty wings at her she. Scolds you for the mess and
- 52:10herds you toward the safety of your cabins.
- 52:12Names have been learned, opinions formed and alliances
- 52:16forged, it seems. Across the clearing of camp, the
- 52:20Lantern path is ever so slightly visible through the trees.
- 52:24Still dark, still waiting. And tomorrow, camp really
- 52:29starts. No.
- 52:31Is that it? No, No.
- 52:35Monty, when she's like walking back, she like walks quickly up
- 52:39to to next to Lottie and like, oh, I'm sorry you got you have a
- 52:42little something. And like pulls her handkerchief
- 52:44out and like wipes her lipstick a little bit and just kind of
- 52:46gives her a wink. And it's like, I just need you
- 52:49to know that I did everything in my power to put the fire out,
- 52:55and I had nothing to do with the fact that it was larger than
- 52:59when you left. Where did you go by the way?
- 53:02Oh, I, I was nowhere. I just ran to the bathroom
- 53:04really, really quick. Oh, can Monty roll for memory to
- 53:07see if she witnessed Lottie have interactions with any other camp
- 53:10counselor? Yes.
- 53:13That's two sixes. Holy.
- 53:18Shit. Wow, Monty.
- 53:20Wow. Monty, Monty.
- 53:23Holy shit I have chills. Wow, I can't wait to see what we
- 53:27named. That, that's amazing.
- 53:29What does it look at that in her eye?
- 53:31I I I buddy I. What is she doing over there?
- 53:34Like thinking God knows man, Hang on.
- 53:37You remember when Lottie first greeted you as you got off the
- 53:40bus. She had a little Fanny pack.
- 53:43As she zipped her chapstick back up in her Fanny pack, you also
- 53:46caught sight of eye drops. She wears a necklace with a
- 53:52charm that has the letter B on it as well.
- 53:56You haven't met all the counselors yet?
- 53:58I think she's Sherlock Holmes and.
- 54:00I think she might be Sherlock Holmes.
- 54:02It's hard to say. I think like Holmes, right?
- 54:04Or murdocking. I think Murdoch or that's a
- 54:07Raven. She's she's that's a ravening.
- 54:09She's a mentalist. She's a mentalist.
- 54:12You haven't met all the counselors yet, but you're
- 54:14keeping this in mind just in case you stumble upon a brat or
- 54:17a Bob or a Billy. Yeah, OK, perfect.
- 54:23She takes note of that, wipes the lipstick.
- 54:25You keep this, you keep this. Keep.
- 54:27Like gives her the handkerchief and just kind of gives her a
- 54:31knowing look and walks away. Amazing.
- 54:34I should note that you guys aren't so different in age from
- 54:37these counselors. They're adults, but they're not.
- 54:39They're just not troublemakers. They're not your age.
- 54:42They're probably. Like.
- 54:44What? They might be troublemakers.
- 54:47Nice catch, they are probably like mid 20s.
- 54:50Not 19. So you're not. 19 but.
- 54:53So Joey's Peters kids. Do you know?
- 54:55What would you like to call that skill, Monty?
- 54:57Insane. I guess like surveillance.
- 55:02Surveillance. I like surveillance cuz you're
- 55:04yeah, yeah, yeah. You're like keyed in on specific
- 55:07details. I don't.
- 55:08Know how to spell that but. It's.
- 55:09Surveillance 3. Yeah, it is 3, Yeah.
- 55:13So every time you succeed with all sixes, you gain a new skill
- 55:17one level higher and you maintain the skill.
- 55:19You sort of gained it through. OK.
- 55:21So you are essentially like leveling up that skill without
- 55:24losing that. Skill.
- 55:25Cool, can I just add 1 little thing I guess.
- 55:28So I guess this might replace what I said before.
- 55:31OK in the interaction with Lottie but Amanti will just wipe
- 55:34the lipstick like you keep this handkerchief.
- 55:38Give her a knowing look and say do the eye drops help with your
- 55:41allergies too? I would love to get some if if
- 55:44you have any extra. What eye drops?
- 55:48Oh, nothing, have a nice night. If you need anything like that,
- 55:51you'll just have to see the nurse.
- 55:52Just let her know. Oh, the nurse.
- 55:54OK. I can't help you, sorry.
- 55:59But now she knows that I know. For surveillance.
- 56:03No, I just want her to know that I know.
- 56:04Yep, it's a power play. She knows, you know.
- 56:07Guys who messed up the bunks. Is.
- 56:09That trying to think of a makeup brand.
- 56:14Maybelline. Is that my Maybelline on the
- 56:18floor? Oh my God, I just had that
- 56:21eyeshadow repressed and now it's crumbly again.
- 56:23Yeah. Your couture or whatever.
- 56:25Yes, my couture, my contour and my foundation and my shadows and
- 56:30my liners and my plucking things.
- 56:33They're everywhere. Just had to find the fire
- 56:36extinguisher. Maybe I, I.
- 56:37Told you it was under the bed cuz I took it off the wall cuz
- 56:40it was an eyesore it. Was really fast without shoes.
- 56:42The. Shoes were off.
- 56:43Really, shoes were. Off without shoes.
- 56:45The shoes were off. It's not his fault I'm.
- 56:47Running with shoes without shoes.
- 56:49Well, who's gonna put it back together?
- 56:51Patrice isn't here. I'm.
- 56:52Busy. I am actively making more
- 56:54explosives. Can I roll for demolitions to
- 56:56make sure that I actually have enough for the rest of our time
- 56:59here? Just in case.
- 57:01You have one explosive remaining, you can roll for
- 57:04Demolition to see if you could acquire the skills and supplies
- 57:07you might need to make more explosives.
- 57:10Well I mean I have shits everywhere so I might as well
- 57:11just take it I am a troublemaker.
- 57:15It's true. Demolitions.
- 57:17Yep, 2. Demolitions 2 baby.
- 57:20That's a 5 and a three for an 8. You find some stuff.
- 57:25I find some stuff. You find some.
- 57:26Stuff. Maybe not stuff to make a bomb,
- 57:28but you could get creative about demolition and find some stuff
- 57:31to do Stuff. I would say definitely Monty
- 57:34brought a lot of Hairspray. Boom.
- 57:37There's some chemicals in that stuff.
- 57:39Cool. Yeah, I think I I definitely
- 57:40find like enough a few Molotov cocktails like worth of.
- 57:44Toiletries are you Maine I because I definitely have a
- 57:47bottle of like alcohol to clean my makeup brushes, that type of
- 57:50stuff. There actually was a full bus
- 57:52behind your school bus for Monty's Soup.
- 57:55Just her. I climb into my perfectly made,
- 58:01undisturbed bed. Well, you knew it wasn't under
- 58:05there. Exactly, I think Monty wraps
- 58:09herself in her peachy comforter like just fully burritos and
- 58:15just lays on whatever is left of her bed and just it's like.
- 58:20I just wish I was. Home, Joey.
- 58:22You start to hear crunching and granola falling.
- 58:27I think Joey is just singing, not necessarily to himself, more
- 58:32so stare into the mid distance, twinkle twinkle my.
- 58:37Little star Juniper Rose. No, it's actually kind of
- 58:44soothing. Can you keep going?

- 58:57I miss you, Mom. I miss you.
- 59:02You're diamond in the sky. Little granola hits you in the

- 59:45Great. That's cool.
- 59:46I love this system. It's great to be able to use
- 59:48those. I will let you carry them into
- 59:50our official Session 1 of this series and we'll have to catch
- 59:54up with these campers in our next episode of this role for
- 59:57Shoe's adventure. Session one of two is coming to
