Transcript
- 0:02Hi, Welcome to tea time with Amy and Bev. Good day, good
- 0:06day, Good day, Sunday, Happy Sunday. How are you doing February?
- 0:15It's by doing yeah super fast? Right? Oh yeah, you know
- 0:22what. Let me just one second because I'm noticing old please there you go,
- 0:35there we go. I had you in my earbud. I forgot I
- 0:38had and Freeman reminded me too, so I was like, I mean,
- 0:42it's great, but you know, yeah, So back to the how are
- 0:51you doing? How am I doing? I'm doing well. I'm just focusing
- 0:58on an event next Saturday, So I'm just focusing on getting that stuff done.
- 1:04So the beauty of it is, well, let me say that the
- 1:14starting anything new, right, we got to put things together and so it
- 1:19takes a little longer, and so I'm making a list I have. I
- 1:26have a spreadsheet where I have different categories. So I'm making a list of
- 1:34each time I do something, you know, what to include, what not
- 1:37to type of thing. So it takes a little bit longer for setting up
- 1:42an event like this, but it's like once you have that list, then
- 1:46you have a checklist or something to go to as a reference and then tweak
- 1:51it with each thing you do after that. So so setting it up is
- 1:57it takes a little bit more energy. But once it's set, the next
- 2:04one all right, you have it all laid out right. And so I've
- 2:07been through the process. So so it's similar to being on this journey.
- 2:13When you choose to be on a journey of transformation. It's learning the tools,
- 2:19just gathering the information and learning the tools and figuring out what works and
- 2:23and you know, maybe taking inventory of what doesn't work, because that helps
- 2:29us as well. We're really good at knowing what we don't like. So
- 2:34so we have that information and then we have the things that that does resonate
- 2:38and that we can implement. And then as we move forward, we have
- 2:43our go to list, and as we move forward, other things might come
- 2:46in that makes it even easier or better, stronger or whatever and more connected.
- 2:53And it's just that found setting the foundation for it. So that's where
- 2:59I'm at, and it's it's actually been pretty smooth, pretty easy. I've
- 3:06been enjoying the process. There's a lot of creativity in it and things that
- 3:13pop up I'm like, oh my gosh, I didn't think about that,
- 3:15and so but that's why I got my list, so I can have something
- 3:21in the reference and it's big. It's big stuff, and it's like even
- 3:25what you just said already, it's pretty huge. Even we get so caught
- 3:29up in things that they're bad or they're good, right, And really all
- 3:32that bad or good is it's just helping to define what your preferences are.
- 3:38That's really all that it is. It's not good or bad. It's just
- 3:40like do I want more of that? Or I do not want more of
- 3:44that? You know what I mean. That's all that it is. But
- 3:46we we've learned, and we've taught, and we've been in the space of
- 3:53we focus on the bad things, and then we just focus on the bad
- 3:55things, not ever realizing that that was the first step of creativity, the
- 4:00first step of creativity, because it's helping us define what our preferences are,
- 4:03What do we want to have in our experiences? What are our passions because
- 4:06we don't know your passions without experiencing something that doesn't feel very passionate to you.
- 4:12Right. So I mean, because it's it's all part of the process,
- 4:15and it's pretty huge. You have you have a going through the whole
- 4:21process of setting this up as is a trial run right you just after right
- 4:26on the tell of doing organizing and doing all the other stuff you were for
- 4:30an event that you were part of just very recently. So it's like it's
- 4:33all the stuff. You are a super rock star. That's all I can
- 4:39tell you right now. Because regardless of how anything ever flows, when you
- 4:44just you just orchestrate it. But you know how it feels to be in
- 4:47that connection with the divine for this information to flow through, which is huge,
- 4:51and it's being in that space and recognizing, you know, if you
- 4:56get overwhelmed, and this is for anybody, and you know all this stuff
- 4:59because you do all this is your practice. But when people get overwhelmed,
- 5:02we want to shut down, go lay in the fetal position in the corner
- 5:06and cry. I've been in that space, but we don't have to be
- 5:11in that space. That I'm listening to this scal in this podcast, started
- 5:16listening to it this morning. That it's next level Soul just started this morning.
- 5:20She's a channeler and it just she starts talking about a lot of this
- 5:24stuff and it's so important for us just to enjoy the journey, like to
- 5:29all this stuff. And it's like all this stuff we we like. The
- 5:31thing is, we've gotten a taste of those aha moments, like those the
- 5:35synchronicities and the messages and you know, being in meditation and you received information
- 5:41and it's like, oh my god, I know. And it's like,
- 5:43well, it's maintaining that energy because now we're looking for that next Aha moment.
- 5:47Right, We're always looking for that that high the high connected. There's
- 5:55no there's nothing bad in that feeling, and it just feels good. It's
- 5:59all good. So we're constantly, I feel like, we constantly start searching
- 6:02for that afterwards, but we li liken it to the same experiences that we've
- 6:08already had, not opening ourselves up to even have more experience sometimes because we
- 6:12hold on to those previous experiences so tightly and look for more of that instead
- 6:16of looking for more of what's going to be shown to me next. And
- 6:20seventh, allowing it to be a surprise. Right. I remember growing up
- 6:24and thinking I hated surprises. I didn't like surprises. Don't freaking surprise me
- 6:29with anything, do not. I didn't like it because it was out of
- 6:32my control, right exactly what to say, It's all about control, it
- 6:39is, it really is it really is you know something you said last week
- 6:43and then well you know that I have told everybody and I have done it,
- 6:47and I'm like, yes, if it's not a hell, yeah,
- 6:49it's a no. And it's just recognizing that because that's now I'm in my
- 6:55boat and that's my navigation tool right now. That's how I'm navigating because and
- 6:59that also puts me into contact with my soul, with my higher self.
- 7:03So I'm asking questions or looking for that guidance before I decide that I know
- 7:08what I'm supposed to do or I know what needs to be said here,
- 7:12and I recognize it and just and I'm I'm evolving from that space right now.
- 7:16Thank you. Something that could help a lot of some things that help.
- 7:26I'm pretty good every once in a while, woo woo, are good
- 7:30And I get that because last this last week, so you know, this
- 7:38event is big for me. And one is honoring my time and energy.
- 7:45And I think I mentioned this before, but I'm just going to say it
- 7:47again. Is that people have asked me, hey, do you want to
- 7:50go do this? And I have to. I really, I really want
- 7:58to be with people because of the memory making memory, spending time with them
- 8:03right that I may never get again. And I get that, and at
- 8:07the same time, it's like, how much more can I do? That's
- 8:13going to take time and energy away from me focusing on this event where I'm
- 8:16going to have probably over thirty people attending, and so having to say no
- 8:24to things that I want I would like to do. But it is like
- 8:31it goes along with if it's not a hell, yes, it's a no
- 8:35when I feel in me like, you know, you You've got all this
- 8:41other stuff that you still have to do for this event. You have a
- 8:43week, like what are you going to do? So I a few times
- 8:48I've had to tell people thank you for inviting me, but I can't yeah,
- 8:52right, So there's that. The other thing is you know that he
- 9:00huge event that I was just part of, and I did mention how stepping
- 9:05into that role of being able to delegate tasks like Okay, what needs to
- 9:11be done? I gather the information what needs to be done, and then
- 9:15going and telling other people what to do like that's never been my moo because
- 9:22I needed to do it, because I needed the recognition, right and by
- 9:28the time I explained it to you, and you're probably not going to do
- 9:31it the way I want you to do it anyway, so far, I
- 9:33might as well just do it myself, right, yes, control, So
- 9:37we got that in that experience. I met with the ladies that are helping
- 9:43me with my event next week, and I felt so comfortable saying, Okay,
- 9:48I need you to do this, this and this and this, and
- 9:50I need you to do this, this, this and this, and it
- 9:52was just like so easy when that's not been me. And it's like,
- 10:03oh my gosh, I just added like two or three hours onto my timeframe
- 10:07of getting some more stuff done that I got to get done instead of being
- 10:11up until eleven twelve one o'clock in the morning trying to get things done and
- 10:15then get up early to go to work. Right, It's like I have
- 10:18these people to depend on to help me, and they're willing to help me
- 10:22and they want to help me, and it's like stepping into that type of
- 10:26a role and it's just up leveling my ability as a leader. And so
- 10:33again, we have these indicators as we're going along on our path of how
- 10:37well we're doing or maybe there's some areas that still need some work, and
- 10:41I'm just like, you know, just having that being proud of myself for
- 10:48how far I've come from where I was and you know a lot of my
- 10:54story. But if you were to talk to people who knew me thirty forty
- 11:00years ago that I would tell you, they'd be like, I don't even
- 11:05know who this girl is now? Who because when I knew her when she
- 11:09was sixteen, fully hell was not pretty? Yeah, So I signed,
- 11:20yeah, So just just where I'm at is super super a self pride and
- 11:26not an egotistic away. It's it's like, wow, look look at me
- 11:30now, because I ten years ago, I don't even could say that I
- 11:35would be where I'm at with myself. So but the other thing I wanted
- 11:39to head onto is something you said and we've talked about it before, is
- 11:46when you're when you're being in that creative space and your energy is in that
- 11:50creativity. So no different than my energy, my energy that I'm putting into
- 11:54this event. It matters in the whole because people are going to feel the
- 12:03energy as the whole. And if I'm bringing stressful energy into it and being
- 12:09on edge and in that angst and anxiety and oh my gosh and overwhelm and
- 12:13wanting to shut down and worry that people aren't gonna come and and if I
- 12:18then that's going to cause that right energy to push repel people from the event.
- 12:26So I just want to bring it to a different example that when people
- 12:31are making jewelry. If if you're if you just had an argument with somebody
- 12:37and then you're like, I just need to get away from them. I'm
- 12:39going to go in my room, I'll shut the door, I'm gonna work
- 12:41on my jewelry. And you're in that pissed off, angry state and you're
- 12:46making jewelry, and then you're expecting it to sell, not going to sell.
- 12:52You give it to somebody. Guess what, it's probably gonna break,
- 12:56it's not gonna last, and then you're gonna be upset with yourself because you're
- 12:58you're quality of your work wasn't that great. Well, you have to think
- 13:05it's your energy that's in that piece of jewelry and now somebody else has it
- 13:11or don't have it, Like if you're trying to sell yourself your jewelry,
- 13:16people feel that energy. So that's just a different example as to you know,
- 13:22creativity and your energy, it all matters, it's like all super important.
- 13:31It really is. Every single part of it. Every single thing that
- 13:33we experience is very important. I was talking to someone yesterday and one of
- 13:39my friends, and it's like I was telling her, you know, I
- 13:43am thankful for the triggers anymore, because otherwise we just don't. I've and
- 13:46I have said it before that I happen, but I'm thankful for those triggers,
- 13:50especially because not always, but especially when I'm in this space to be
- 13:54like, huh, I wonder what that's all about, like look at me
- 13:58right now exactly, instead of having a reaction or anything else, and I
- 14:03had so yesterday I got to the office and it smelled like a someone's reptile
- 14:09cage or whatever in my office, and I thought, I just automatically sent
- 14:13a message to the owner because she owns the building right just to let her
- 14:18know, to give her heads up because I didn't speak up for myself last
- 14:22time. But it's learning how to speak up because I could have went next
- 14:24door and talked to the people when they got in there when I had a
- 14:28chance, and I didn't do it that way. And then it ended up
- 14:31talking to them last night and they were very nice, and we'll meet up
- 14:33with each other and so they can get an idea what they're smelling to this.
- 14:37Like they said, maybe we're so familiar with this that we're not recognizing
- 14:41that it's whatever. And I said, well, you guys have only been
- 14:43there for like a couple of weeks, right, And she says, now
- 14:46we've been there for a month, and I said, well, hey,
- 14:48the positive is this is the first time I've smelled anything through and it has
- 14:52nothing to do with their business. It has to do with the city,
- 14:54with the building basically that we shared this common space. So it's not it's
- 15:01it's recognizing I was getting irritated by it, right because it was like the
- 15:05old stuff, like smelling cigarette smoke or whatever. And then I noticed that
- 15:09I was starting to react to that. So then it's like, no,
- 15:11not going to react. I'm just going to send her the message, notify
- 15:13her so she can she's aware and she can make a decision however she wants
- 15:16to do things. But with all that being said, I just I feel
- 15:20like I obviously would would have preferred someone come talk to me first about something,
- 15:26and so that's how I will do it in the future. And so
- 15:28it wasn't like anything good or bad but it was just like just what we're
- 15:31talking about. It's just recognizing. First of all, I had a trigger
- 15:35recognizing what is it? What is it to serve me for? And then
- 15:39I'm Then my clients reminded me like, hey, you probably is not going
- 15:41to be in the space much longer. It's not it's not a big deal.
- 15:45And I said, you're one hundred percent right. It's just letting.
- 15:46It's just helping me to let go because I know that when we're comfortable in
- 15:50spaces, we'll stay there forever. Honestly, if I was comfortable and enjoying
- 15:56every single thing that I'm doing, I probably would never aspire to do anything
- 16:00more than I'm doing right now. But because of all this stuff, this
- 16:03comfortability comes along and then all of a sudden you feel and I think it's
- 16:06spirit like giving you those urges and that you know you're feeling unrusted and you
- 16:11feel like you've got to do something, and you're like, oh, really,
- 16:15like you just feel inside of you you want to do something, and
- 16:17it's I think in a lot of ways, that's a motivational way to get
- 16:21us moving because they know how to they know how to push our buttons to
- 16:23trigger us in order for us to excuse me to move forward. It's that
- 16:27moving forward because sometimes we get so comfortable it doesn't even matter the space.
- 16:32We'll get comfortable in an abusive relationship because we know where it's at, we
- 16:36know what we're going to get from it, we know what to expect typically,
- 16:40and a lot of times we don't like all the other stuff. But
- 16:41my gosh, if we just if we just looked at life as more of
- 16:45an adventure, and it's like, what am I going to learn from this?
- 16:48It's like I have thought for so long, had thought and I wouldn't
- 16:52say fought, but I just really had zero desire to meditate. It wasn't
- 16:55my goal. But it's like, does that mean that I was putting myself
- 16:57on the back burner again and giving myself that piece? That that piece when
- 17:02I've had it feels so amazing, And it's like, why can't that be
- 17:06more of a practice, And why have I kept myself so busy? Why
- 17:08have I distracted myself from that? And that those are all that it's all
- 17:12triggers. So it's like I don't have all the answers for everybody, but
- 17:17I'm having I'm learning the answers for myself. So it's like this has made
- 17:21an asking for like why why am I experience experiencing this Right now? I'm
- 17:26listening to this scalve this morning and she says something I probably won't say it
- 17:30exactly the way she said it was she was talking about money, and your
- 17:33money is a reflection of how you've been devaluing yourself. So it's like,
- 17:37and so that was a huge statement. I was like, that's pretty that's
- 17:41pretty big and so and then I'm like, is that true? So just
- 17:45setting with that just to see how it feels for me, do I I
- 17:48have devalued myself? And it's like, and I hear you having the conversation.
- 17:52You're setting this thing, this function up, and you're doing all these
- 17:55things, and it's like it's you talked about not valuing yourself and you've learned
- 17:59value yourself. Your time is important, and it is Our time is all
- 18:03important, And it's like it's just recognizing how we're putting use of our energy
- 18:10into our daily activities and our daily thoughts and not chastising self when we hear
- 18:15ourselves talking and crap to ourselves again, Like wait a minute, you're getting
- 18:18all flipped out over this, like right now, why what you know?
- 18:22Asking ourselves these questions instead of feeling like a victim to our behavior, because
- 18:27then what happens afterwards we start kicking ourselves. Why did I say that?
- 18:32How come I didn't do this? And it's like, nope, nope,
- 18:34you did the best you could at that particular moment. What can you do
- 18:37better next time? How can you show up and do better? Be better
- 18:41into the next time it comes into your experience, So it's just always be
- 18:45a next time until you It's like I told was selling her, until we've
- 18:51become neutral, it's going to keep showing up for us because we have something
- 18:55to learn from it. That's all that it is. It's not a punishment,
- 18:57it's not anything bad. It's when we learn what we need to learn
- 19:00from it. It's there's no use for it anymore, just we'll fall away
- 19:03from our experience. Yeah, I had I had a conversation with somebody several
- 19:11months ago, and uh, she's having a difficult time at home and between
- 19:21her and her kids, they keep talking about it. They text each other
- 19:23during the day about it, sending images about it, like it's constant right,
- 19:30And I told her in the beginning when she started talking to me about
- 19:33it, I said, you guys got to stop talking about it. You
- 19:36just got to stop talking about it, Stop reinforcing the energy, stop giving
- 19:41attention to it. Because you keep giving attention to it, it can't change.
- 19:44You guys are feeding it. You guys are you guys are holding holding
- 19:48the energy of it to where it's at, and it can't change. And
- 19:52she heard me, but she didn't take action. Right. So here we
- 19:57are several months la and just the other day she goes, I'm really beating
- 20:02myself up for not for talking bad about this person. Of course, I
- 20:11take a breath in myself and not say I told you so, because I
- 20:14really wanted to say that, but that's my ego saying, look, I
- 20:18told you how many months ago? But you know, I'm not going to
- 20:23do that because people will only do and hear and do what they can in
- 20:30the moment. And she couldn't do it then because she's so deep into it,
- 20:34so emotionally distraught over it, and it's in her face, it's in
- 20:38her reality, and she doesn't know how to do anything different. And now
- 20:44and this is what we do, right, we we want something different,
- 20:51We're given the information, but then we don't do anything with it because it's
- 20:59a means of being able to just keep ourselves in that pattern of not good
- 21:08enough, because we don't value ourselves, because we can't see ourselves any different,
- 21:14because well, I know what to expect when I get home, and
- 21:18if I do anything different, it's right the unknown bullshit, And uh,
- 21:25I'm not going to know what to expect. I'm not going to know how
- 21:26to control the situation. I'm not going to know how to react to this
- 21:30because it's going to be something different. So if I keep it in the
- 21:33same energy as it is, I know the pattern, I know what to
- 21:37do, I know how to react to it. And but staying in that,
- 21:44you're just you know, you're not happy. You know that things are
- 21:48not the way you desire them to be. And nothing is going to change
- 21:53until you change. And I'm not saying nothing's going to change until they change,
- 22:00keyword is you. Nothing is going to change until you change. And
- 22:06in all of all all situations, there are multiple choices, multiple avenues to
- 22:12take. But we have to have the desire enough to make a change,
- 22:19to do something different and to move in a different direction to shift our energy.
- 22:26Had Bev and I not done the things that we've done for ourselves and
- 22:30changing in ourselves, we there's no way her and I would have come together
- 22:33to do this. There was no There would be no way I would even
- 22:37would have even suggested to her, Hey, let's go out into the public
- 22:41eye and be and have no no to the hell no, fuck no.
- 22:48It wouldn't have been called teach time. It had been like shots with Amy
- 22:52and Bed That's right, no doubt. We would have been drunk, happy,
- 22:56happy drunks. That's right, life bule. You know all that.
- 23:03When you're talking about a lot of stuff, it makes me think about a
- 23:04baby, right. A baby's not thinking like, oh my god, what
- 23:08if I, oh my knees got under me? What if oh my god,
- 23:11my arm? Oh I just moved? And then they started worrying about
- 23:15where they were going next. They would never go anywhere like, they would
- 23:18never go They would never they would They don't want change. Oh my god,
- 23:22what if I crawled over there and I stood up and fell down or
- 23:25something? They have you have nothing to compare it to. But we've got
- 23:27a template, right, We've got this previous patterns that we can grasp a
- 23:32hold of that don't do as any service because they're almost like having the training
- 23:36wheels off all the time. We kind of gosh, it's just even to
- 23:40be in that space of that that just like a baby being so curious about
- 23:45something that you're willing to drag your body across the floor over to see it,
- 23:48and we just don't. We've we've lost that in many ways, we've
- 23:52lost that intensity to really have that desire, that burning desire to get over
- 23:57there and pick it up and get over there and find out, you know,
- 24:00it's just a piece of lint that they stuck in their mouth or whatever.
- 24:03Because they do this stuff all the time. I've I've had kids,
- 24:07and I've have grandchildren. So it's like they whatever is available, they're they're
- 24:10going after it. That's a little shiny thing over there, they're gonna,
- 24:12they're gonna get there. But they don't think about the whole thing on the
- 24:17way there. They're just all excited because they know they're getting closer and closer
- 24:18to whatever they're getting to, and then they're they're just delighted by what they
- 24:22have. It doesn't even matter if it's a piece of lint or a box
- 24:26or whatever, a ball like it. None of that stuff even matters.
- 24:30It's just the thrilling, the thrill to get to that point. And if
- 24:33we stayed in that space of always being afraid of change, we would never
- 24:37have we would never have learned to how to crawl. But we didn't have
- 24:41all this, these beliefs or these things, you know, things that we
- 24:44think we have to grab a hold of something and that's the only way we
- 24:47can do it from here on out. We can't. They can't. We
- 24:49cannot stray from the what the norm is. And it's like we might be
- 24:53looked at, or so we might, you know, stand out a little
- 24:56bit and someone might see you, Oh my god, like all these things,
- 24:59these worries and stuff go through our mind, and it's just because it's
- 25:02stuff that we learned. But that innocent baby doesn't think twice about it.
- 25:06They're just happy, go lucky until they're not, and then they'll cry until
- 25:08they get whatever they need to get. It's it's, you know, it's
- 25:12we just don't we if we can look at life a little bit more like
- 25:18that, maybe get on the floor and crawl around a little bit and see
- 25:19what's what do you see that's the closest thing to you and move over to
- 25:23it. I don't know, it's it's just like getting back to some of
- 25:26the old patterns, the old looking at things from a different perspective. So
- 25:32you know, whether you're on your belly or or standing in the back of
- 25:34your truck looking at the grounds, you know, it's you're having a different
- 25:37perspective of things, and and things can look different and exciting again, and
- 25:42it draws your attention. And how many times I've looked outside and all of
- 25:45a sudden, the sun's shining on one particular spot. Now it's got my
- 25:49attention. I get excited. You know, we might get a little scope
- 25:53out and you check it out or or whatever. So it's just like,
- 25:57if those are the things that are exciting, that's right now. Yeah.
- 26:03The other day I was driving to work and I was it was super cloudy
- 26:06here, but as I was driving to work, there was this one huge
- 26:11cloud and it was baby blue against the all the gray clouds, and I
- 26:18kept looking at what I'm trying to drive. But I'm like trying to drive
- 26:22and look, I was like, girl, you get in the wreck where
- 26:26stuff that's awesome right over a cloud and I'd never seen a cloud of a
- 26:33like baby blue huge. It was huge. I that was so amazing,
- 26:38And to get excited about something like that, I mean, that was just
- 26:45There was one day I was driving to work and there was a mist like
- 26:48a fog, a fog that had settled in our town and it was I
- 26:53go by the cemetery and I so wanted to just pull into the cemetery and
- 26:59sit there. I just so one to do it, but I thought,
- 27:02no, you know, I'm I'm had to work, I need to get
- 27:03to work and all that. And so then I was telling my boss later
- 27:06and she goes, well, then do it. She didn't exactly with me
- 27:11for something like that, you know, but I have my old programming,
- 27:15got to be to work at a certain time, gotta you know, got
- 27:18to show up, gotta you know, all this stuff. And it's just
- 27:22such a relaxed atmosphere. And she's like, if you want to stop at
- 27:26a cemetery because there is a fog over it and that excites you, then
- 27:30do it. Like I was just like, what, like, give myself
- 27:34permission to do that? Amazing, that's fantastic. So but coming back to
- 27:45your analogy of the baby. For sure, you know, first of all,
- 27:49baby knows how to use its voice, right, Yes, if it's
- 27:55got dirty diaper, if it's uncomfortable, you know it like you may not
- 28:00know what it is, but you know, or something that's off with the
- 28:03baby, right, but it knows that its voice. And it's over time
- 28:07where the parent or significant significant people in that baby's life teaches it to not
- 28:15use its voice, which you and I were taught very well, don't use
- 28:18your voice because we don't be seen, not heard, don't care about your
- 28:22problems. Suck it up, put your big girl opintings on it, like
- 28:26we've heard all and so we suppressed our voice, and then we had to
- 28:30learn how to use it. And so a baby it's curious, so curious,
- 28:40and it wants to explore everything, and it sees something and it just
- 28:44wants to go put its mouth on it. Everything goes in their mouth and
- 28:48in their fingers and they're playing with it and touching it. Doesn't matter what
- 28:52it is, even the nasty stuff, but they explore and they're curious.
- 28:57And it's the adults that teaches them, oh, don't do that, because
- 29:04oh, don't do that, because this could happen, and don't do that
- 29:07because that could happen. And then we start learning those types of programmings of
- 29:11worry and the anxiety and all the fear and all the stuff. And then
- 29:18we have to learn how to unlearn that stuff so that we can pull that
- 29:23heavy energy out of us and reprogram our mind and body to do something different.
- 29:33Always comes and we say it every week. Always comes back to a
- 29:36choice, Always comes back to a choice. If you don't like the way
- 29:38your life is, you don't like the way things are happening, you don't
- 29:41like your circumstances either, you got to change your perspective. If you're going
- 29:47to choose to stay, you got to change your perspective about it, or
- 29:52take another avenue of choice. There is always a choice. So one of
- 30:00the choices that for this lady that I was referencing just a few minutes ago,
- 30:07one of the choices is that she's just gonna go live somewhere else temporarily.
- 30:11It's not forever, it's just temporarily to get her out of that energy,
- 30:15so she's not seeing it every single day for hours. That she gets
- 30:19to go to a place where she can have some solitude and just do something
- 30:25different and get a breath, like sometimes we need that breath of fresh air.
- 30:29I have another person who's gone through a separation, and what's interesting,
- 30:38I thought, this is really interesting. Is just a side note. But
- 30:41they chose to have the house and the kids stay in the house, but
- 30:48the parents alternate who stays there. So one week the mom stays and then
- 30:53the next week she leaves and the dad stays, and so instead of having
- 30:57the kids bounce around house to house, the parents are back and forth.
- 31:03And I thought, well, that's interesting. She said, yeah, it's
- 31:04kind of a new thing. Now it's like okay, well, hey if
- 31:07it works. But anyway, I told her, I said, listen,
- 31:11had things haven't hadn't unfold like it did, you would have never taken two
- 31:17weeks every month for yourself. You would have been a wife and a mom
- 31:21and all the things that go along with that, and you would have never
- 31:25ever taken two weeks out of the month to go be with yourself, to
- 31:30go do what you want to go, focus on you, to go do
- 31:32your transformation work, to do whatever it is. Would have never happened.
- 31:37So there is value in the way this has unfolded for you, and she's
- 31:41like, wow, it is so true, suck. That's that whole thing
- 31:48of helping people, like what we've been talking about is really helping people to
- 31:52focus on the things that are working, like what you wouldn't have had this,
- 31:55like you just said, and that's kind of huge. That's kind of
- 31:57huge, And it doesn't matter how it came about. I mean, I
- 32:00can say that so easily, so flippantly, but it it because it because
- 32:06it does matter in a lot of ways. But in a lot of ways,
- 32:07when you get to the outcome, it's like that all that stuff didn't
- 32:09matter as much as you thought it did. What matters now is where you've
- 32:14ended up. What matters now is how you feel evolved or you've got time
- 32:17for yourself. And it's like you can take a chance to or take time
- 32:21to just take a breath just to be able to focus on yourself and that's
- 32:23not always easy, but it's like, that's it's awesome that it worked out
- 32:28that way. Gosh. It almost seems like it'd be beneficial for all families
- 32:31to you know, have a parent at least to get one, you know,
- 32:35one week to themselves and at least once a month, right, and
- 32:38then that way you've always got the kids being taken care of, but you've
- 32:40got reset time. And I think it's it's important. It's really, it
- 32:45really is important. And maybe we don't need as much time as that.
- 32:49Maybe it's a couple of days every other week or something like that to break
- 32:52it down a bit. But there's like there's it just goes to show you
- 32:54there's other alternatives. And that's really you talked about before. Every you know
- 33:00choices, right, we have choices, and there's always solutions to everything,
- 33:04and there's numerous, but it's like it may not be something that you've thought
- 33:06about. And that's why I love talking to people because we get to get
- 33:08different ideas all the time. It's not just one way. Because the experience
- 33:15that we've had in this life right now, it's been our solely alone.
- 33:19So it's like we're drawing from whatever we've experienced. So when we hear someone
- 33:22else's perspective on something, it really gives us something to kind of it's food
- 33:28for thought, right, It's something to digest and think and see if it
- 33:31really would benefits? Could I do something like that? And because to me,
- 33:35that's I would never have thought of that, and that is very awesome.
- 33:39I think that is so smart too. That's just another option that's out
- 33:44there. But again, until you start getting in with groups or other things,
- 33:47and it's like pay attention to the group. Is a group like a
- 33:51hell of gap making you feel good? Or is it you feeling dragged down
- 33:53every single time you go into group. So that's also something to look at
- 33:57too. It's like I was going to say, there's lots of face Book
- 34:00groups out there and stuff too. And I even know someone else that had
- 34:02gone through cancer and then started to can went into the cancer group, but
- 34:06it wasn't that wasn't what she was looking for for the conversation she's looking for,
- 34:10like Li's figure out how to live and not just die right now,
- 34:14you know what I mean. So it's like it's just perspectives and it's you
- 34:17gotta you really got to pay attention to what you like and what you what
- 34:21feels good to you. I had a I saw a conversation on social media
- 34:27and the person was not happy with the AA groups in his area and so
- 34:35it was, uh, seeking some other kind of support and is he wasn't
- 34:43happy with the idea of going to a group similar to what you were just
- 34:45saying, and like, keep beating yourself up and hearing all these stories and
- 34:51just it's kind of a downer type of thing. He's like, I don't
- 34:54I want something different? And people not kidding you. People suggested, well,
- 35:01you know you're shown these things so that you know what you want,
- 35:05and why don't you just start your own group? And guess what his response
- 35:09was, I don't have time for the hut. I think I'm qualified to
- 35:15do something like that. I'm like, if you know you want to live
- 35:21and you have this idea and this is planted on your heart, then I
- 35:23bet there's other people out there who wanted to So what if you did start
- 35:30something and the people showed up who would support you and have the same desire,
- 35:36and how amazing it could be and you change the paradigm about AA meetings.
- 35:42Like one of my hang ups about it is going to a meeting and
- 35:45saying I'm an alcoholic. I don't like that affirmation. I never have and
- 35:52it's not something I will. I used alcohol to get through some stuff,
- 35:57but I also know I used alcohol to suppress emotions so I could have a
- 36:00good time. I know what I used it for. It was a it
- 36:04was a crutch, it was a means of moving through. But to affirm
- 36:10in all the time that I'm this, I'm like, I would rather go
- 36:16ahead and say, man, I'm amazing for showing up with this group and
- 36:22change it right, and so just having a shift in perception about what it
- 36:28is that you're again coming back to perspective, changing your perspective because you change
- 36:34your perspective now starts changing the dynamics with yourself. I would much rather affirm
- 36:43I'm a survivor, I'm strong, i am full of strength and persistence and
- 36:52and diligent, Like I want to affirm all that. That's what I want
- 36:55to affirm, because that's going to keep me in a space of wanting to
- 37:00keep going because now I'm now I'm valuing or focusing on my strengths instead of
- 37:07the opposite or beating myself up all the time because this is what I did
- 37:10and this is what happened, and I'm like, can't I just cannot get
- 37:15into that makes sense. Now. If I would have attended that type of
- 37:21meeting back in the day, maybe I maybe that would have been what I
- 37:24needed at that time. But even then, I have never attended a meeting
- 37:30like that, And even then, at that age, I was like,
- 37:34there's gotta be something different. There's got to be something different. And I
- 37:37just kept asking and asking and asking you where what else can can I do?
- 37:42Because that's not the answer. Like traditional counseling and therapy wasn't my good.
- 37:46I'm like, never had it, And and you would think based on
- 37:51how I am today compared to how you would swear, I've been in counseling
- 37:54for years, like like traditional therapy, never been in it. Never.
- 38:04I mean I've talked to traditional therapists in groups that I've been in like mastermind
- 38:08groups and study groups and stuff like that. Never have I been to a
- 38:14traditional therapist for my stuff. And I'm like, there are other ways,
- 38:21there's other choices, and it's just being open. And when somebody suggests to
- 38:25you, because I tell you I've done this myself too, it's like You're
- 38:29gonna be healer and I'm like, fuck you, I am doope, not
- 38:32happening. Somebody told me this for three years and I was like, oh
- 38:37no, because I couldn't see that in myself to step into that role.
- 38:43And I didn't want that kind of responsibility. So I understand where this person
- 38:47is coming from, thinking he's not qualified. But at the same time,
- 38:51when something is on your heart like that, it's important to step into it
- 38:55because you're not the only one feeling that way. Yeah. Yeah, And
- 39:00it's even in the groups. I don't know what kind of leeway they have
- 39:02in those things because I haven't gone to any of them either, But it's
- 39:06like, God, what's a better conversation is I have been sober this amount
- 39:12of time or instead of I am this other thing. You know, there's
- 39:15so many ways of saying things without you know, saying in a positive way
- 39:22instead of it in that sort of a way, and maybe that wouldn't even
- 39:23be frowned upon. But it's like in that situation, you want to be
- 39:28what you want to see in the world, right, So it's like you
- 39:30just show up and you you you don't have to be affected by all this
- 39:34stuff because you're affected by all the stuff. That means that's what your attention
- 39:36is drawn to. So you're looking at the victim and you're looking at all
- 39:39this turmoil and sadness and chaos and drama and stuff, or are you looking
- 39:44at like positive like, look at all these people that came in here that
- 39:49are ready to be seen. They came in here because they're ready to be
- 39:52seen. And it's like, what if we started and you're the change.
- 39:54You just have to be You're the one that's going to be the change if
- 39:57you want to affect things like that, or like you said, just create
- 40:00your own group. And it's an opportunity nonetheless in any way, any any
- 40:05of the there's many options, right, you could make many choices for the
- 40:08whole thing, or just give up on it and not do it at all.
- 40:13Yeah, And I just want to I do want to say I'm not
- 40:15putting down AA meanings because oh no, no, for certain people, it's
- 40:21just similar to like a Bible study or it's amazing for people for where they're
- 40:24at. If it's working for you, do it. But if what I'm
- 40:30what my focus is on is somebody who is desiring something different and they know
- 40:36there could be something different and it's on their hard to have something different,
- 40:40then step into it. Like because you're a creator. Yeah, you're a
- 40:45creator creating with your words and those are your words. That's the only reason
- 40:49I would bring it. That's just the I mean that to me, it's
- 40:52no different than if we wanted to bring in religion or in that stuff.
- 40:54It's just we're creating with our words and I don't I'm not creating from a
- 41:00fear space. So it's like there's things that wouldn't resonate with me, just
- 41:04like we've talked about not that long ago, when I see stuff that's advertising,
- 41:07even on like YouTube, and if it's even if it's something that I
- 41:10know that I would probably enjoy it. But when it's put put to me
- 41:15like oh my God, do this or this is gonna happen, or or
- 41:20hey, the Devil's with us right now, and like all this stuff,
- 41:22and it's like that that doesn't motivate me that I know that maybe it might
- 41:28have motivated me once upon a time, but I've always been really hard headed
- 41:30and kind of headstrong in a lot of that stuff. So I'm not so
- 41:32sure that's where my anger came into play. That's if I wanted to look
- 41:37back at my life and think, oh, I could have said, I
- 41:39just always say I was just always angry, but it served me. It's
- 41:44not that it didn't serve me. It served me in so many ways,
- 41:45but I just learned there was other ways that being nice can serve me too,
- 41:51like being with other people with like minded people, being aware of the
- 41:55words that I'm using because it is creating, being aware of how I feel
- 41:59about money, how I'm devaluing myself, like looking at all this stuff,
- 42:02and it's just we just happen to use that as a topic. Is that
- 42:06as the group just because they would always say that, And it's like you're
- 42:08affirming something over and over and over again, Like we just talked about a
- 42:12little bit ago about your other person. You guys want to keep talking about
- 42:15that story. You're keeping it in your experience and there was nothing wrong with
- 42:20this. It's like getting past part of the grieving and blaming ourselves for all
- 42:24these things that we did wrong instead of just acknowledging, oh, yeah,
- 42:28I fucked up. But guess what, I don't have to do that anymore.
- 42:30I'm a different person now, and you can show up and do and
- 42:34be better. You're different than the person you were initially because you get new
- 42:37tools right otherwise and even then a lot of times it's not is it wrong
- 42:42because that's all they know and it's just a it's an opportunity for us to
- 42:45look and explore for something else that's out there to change our life, to
- 42:51give us the feel goods instead of being so caught up in all the stuff
- 42:55that doesn't feel good in the drama and stuff like that, and the stuff
- 42:59that we're familiar with them we know, and that's why it's so important for
- 43:01us to gravitate and change, and it's to really gravitate towards all the things
- 43:07that are pulling us in that direction. And I feel like we're constantly being
- 43:09pulled in that direction. But how much are we ignoring it? For instance,
- 43:15even going on to YouTube, whatever showing up on your feed, it's
- 43:17there for a reason. It is not it's we can I can say it's
- 43:22all AI stuff. And sure, you know, there's a lot of stuff
- 43:24that goes by, you know, patterns, it's looking at it, watching
- 43:28us and everything else, but there's it doesn't show up in our experience as
- 43:31a spiritual being unless there's something there for us with it. And and it's
- 43:37like so for me to even say like, well I wasn't drawn to that,
- 43:40I know I'll end up watching some of these because I'll watch it and
- 43:44I'll be like, oh my god, the advertising for that wasn't to me.
- 43:46It wasn't. It didn't pull me in, It was actually pushing me
- 43:50away. And I almost missed out on the story. But I know it'll
- 43:52if it shows up a few times, regardless of whatever says on there,
- 43:55I'm to watch it. So it's like it's all those messages. We have
- 44:00messages around us all the time that we're just not even paying attention to.
- 44:04We're not giving energy to any of that good stuff, the stuff that makes
- 44:07us feel good. So again, it's like, where are you at with
- 44:09how you're feeling? And you can tell, right, you can tell by
- 44:14how you feel. You can just stop in and check in with yourself for
- 44:15a minute if you're not feeling like bubbly excited, like driving by the cemetery
- 44:23and like, oh god, I can go in there right now, this
- 44:25is like the perfect time. And when you said that, I thought and
- 44:29all the people that would be sitting around in there and standing around, because
- 44:31it's like in my mind I could see all that as you're going by,
- 44:35and it's like, man, it's like, you tell them next time,
- 44:37I'll be stopping in. Yeah, I don't care where I'm going to.
- 44:40I'll tell them hey, I had had an emergency at home or I'll make
- 44:44up whatever. But again, see what I started to say, I'm creating.
- 44:47So if I said there was an emergency at home, I'm creating an
- 44:50emergency at home with my words and instead it so it's like finding ways to
- 44:53use those words to you're creating what you want to create. I needed to
- 44:59take it five minut and it's stop. You don't. We don't have to
- 45:00say why, we don't have to justify. It's just the way it is.
- 45:04This is you know, thanks for waiting for me, Thanks for waiting
- 45:07for me to show up to work today at three o'clock when I was due
- 45:10to be in at seven. Notice kidding, Yeah, hanging out with the
- 45:15dead people, That's right, I'm here. Let's get excited, guys.
- 45:22Yeah. And creativity, when it's it's in your heart, it's time to
- 45:29go with it. It's time to pay attention, it's time to do something
- 45:31with it, whether it's take a class or start your own thing, or
- 45:36do something. The more I got into learning about energy work and and that
- 45:43avenue of information, I was so fascinated by it. Then my and I
- 45:49was like, Okay, well if I'm going to step into this. How
- 45:52am I going to get better at it? How am I going to get
- 45:53good at talking to people? How am I going to get into my confidence?
- 45:58So I was started taking classes. That's when I was in a like
- 46:02a networking company where I had to. I didn't have to, but if
- 46:07you want to make money, it helps if you, you know, do
- 46:10group demonstrations. I am not a stand in front of a group type of
- 46:15girl at the time, and it was very scary and very uncomfortable. It
- 46:21was shaking in my body, trying stumbling over my words. But I survived
- 46:27because I'm still here. And the more I did it, the more I
- 46:30got comfortable, the better I got. And so get the tools. If
- 46:38there's something on your heart, something you desire, then get the tools.
- 46:43There's lots of free stuff on YouTube. There are a lot of books that
- 46:46have been written before us that will help guide you, a lot of leadership
- 46:52books, a lot of books on how to speak right, speaking in front
- 46:55of other people, and you take that information and you see what resonates with
- 47:01you, and then sometimes a lot of times you create your own And that
- 47:07was one of the things that was told to me several years ago was you're
- 47:12gonna get a lot of information, but you're gonna create your own path.
- 47:16In my head, I was like, oh, okay, I don't get
- 47:19this, but whatever, And then that's what I've done, Like I've pulled
- 47:22pieces from so many different teachers and stuff, and I create my stuff my
- 47:28own. So it's like, how do you want to embrace? But sometimes
- 47:31you got to follow some people so that you can get a grasp on,
- 47:37getting a little clearer on what you want. But then you can just take
- 47:39it and make it your own, put your own spin on it. Nobody's
- 47:45gonna tell your story like you do. So we all might have similar stories,
- 47:50or several of us might have similar stories, but we're not all gonna
- 47:54have the same story. We're not gonna have the same experience, we're not
- 47:57gonna have the same healing practices. But nobody's gonna know if you don't share.
- 48:02So it's similar to starting a group that you desire. So many people
- 48:07are out there probably desiring the same thing, but nobody wants to step into
- 48:10that role. Step of the role. See what happens. If it doesn't
- 48:14work out, It's okay, you learn something and then maybe it's gonna help
- 48:17you make a shift, or maybe it's going to make you help, you
- 48:21make a connection with somebody who has the you know, more skills in that
- 48:29area that could either guide you or take the reins and show you the way.
- 48:36Just see that's true. It all help because I'm just sitting here thinking
- 48:49about all that stuff and it helps. And again, you've got a different
- 48:52Each person has a genuine distinct perception on things than another person has. And
- 48:58like I said earlier, it makes a big difference when we get those perspectives.
- 49:01Sometimes those perspectives can take a lot of weight off someone can make a
- 49:07big difference in their life. So it's like, it's awesome when we all
- 49:09show up and our true authentic selves as our true authentic selves, and when
- 49:15you it's important to me for people to lean into collaboration instead of competition.
- 49:22Do you know how many healers there are in this town. It's a small
- 49:25town compared to a big city like La or Las Vegas or anything. There's
- 49:29a lot of healers here. Yeah, but we all do it in our
- 49:32own way, and we're all going to attract the people that are attracted to
- 49:36us. The way we teach, the way we talk the way we our
- 49:39modalities, our skill set, our language, our body language, all those
- 49:44things. It's it's it's that is like an individual basis. However, it's
- 49:49an energetic basis on who's attracted to you, and we can do these things
- 49:55individually. There's over even billion people on the planet and that one healer can
- 50:01handle all of that. So we need many healers. But we're also more
- 50:06powerful together. So if we're supporting each other. If I there's something that
- 50:09I am not strong in my skill set or I don't have time for,
- 50:14I'm like, hey, here's this person's number, here's that per person's number.
- 50:16I know somebody who does that as well, because people ask me all
- 50:20the time, do you do this? Yep, I sure do. I
- 50:22don't have time, but I know somebody else who I trust, who could
- 50:24do it, and I'll give them their number. So I have no problem
- 50:29in doing that because there's plenty for everybody. And it's just like these groups.
- 50:34If somebody is drawn to your energy and they're desiring something similar to what
- 50:37you're desiring, they're going to be drawn to you. And then you just
- 50:42roll with it and you're going to figure out what works, what doesn't.
- 50:45Work and you keep making adjustments and it's all okay. And if you're desiring
- 50:51the support, support shows up. Support shows up every single time. And
- 50:55it's whether you link arms with that person to let them lead the way and
- 51:01guide you, or resist it and look at it as competition and say,
- 51:06oh, well they're smart at me, and then now you get into comparison,
- 51:09it's like, we're stronger together. I have a lady in a group
- 51:15that I'm in and that's her tagline, We're stronger together. It's absolute truth.
- 51:20The more we collaborate, the better it is. It's going to be
- 51:22better for the planet. So I'm totally into collaboration. I'm like, let's
- 51:27let's link arms and be strong together instead of trying to do it individually,
- 51:30because that's that's a lot of work. That's tough. And we get to
- 51:37lift each other up in our strengths and our qualities and shine a light on
- 51:44one another. So I'm like, step in to do it. Back to
- 51:51those choices again, right, it's true, but it's true. Look at
- 51:53how many choices we have? Yeah, so many, so many. It's
- 52:00true. It's pretty phenomenal. And you don't even know until you've talked to
- 52:06until you talk to groups of people until you start getting different ideas, and
- 52:10then you realize. And it's like even for me, when I walk over
- 52:14to take care of the cats or whatever to their house, I imagine that
- 52:17I'm walking on this path and I can see the grass on both sides,
- 52:22and it's lined with certain types of rocks that I want lining in the path,
- 52:25and I can see that all the way to the house. And then
- 52:28I can see their house in the green color with a copper roof, and
- 52:30then I can see, you know, I can see all the stuff,
- 52:32but I can see all the stuff. And then if you have someone else
- 52:36that's collaborating with you, now they're adding something into it, and it's like
- 52:38I never thought about that. Yeah, I like that. Okay, so
- 52:42now we just install the water feature, right, you know what I mean.
- 52:44But that's how it goes, and that's how that's how amazing it is
- 52:47and fun it can be. Oh are you good? Like the opposite of
- 52:52that is, oh, they already have it, and maybe I shouldn't do
- 52:58it because they have already done it. Yeah, I mean, okay,
- 53:01Well, how many Bible studies are there in this in just in the United
- 53:06States. How many AA meetings are just in the United States. Somebody desires
- 53:12desires it, and they start it. Yeah, so handlers, Oh my
- 53:17god, look at how many challengers we have mediums there there. We're in
- 53:21a time space reality now that we can see and have a better contact and
- 53:25explore these people anybody that's online than we have ever had before in our lives.
- 53:31We've never had the opportunities that we have right now, not in this
- 53:36my life experience, on this life lifeline. It's no, but it's phenomenal.
- 53:44Yeah, a lot of people are opening up to that in allowing it
- 53:50to be a part of their truth. I have a I mean I have
- 53:55an LA you know, I'm coaching and and she's open end up to mediumship
- 54:01and she's like, I can talk to the dead people, but I don't
- 54:06know what to do after that, Like, because that's a huge responsibility.
- 54:09When you're talking to somebody's loved ones who've passed, and you're talking to the
- 54:14person who's still here in the physical body. Now there's some mental and emotional
- 54:17healing that needs to take place. She's like, I don't know what to
- 54:20do with that, Like that's out of her realm. Like she has no
- 54:22study in that at all. And she's like, I just give me your
- 54:25card, like, go see Amy, you know when to work through this.
- 54:29And I'm like, hey, that's cool. And in the meantime,
- 54:32I'm giving her examples Okay, well when this happens, you could do this,
- 54:37and and just giving her difference, like I'm lifting her up in her
- 54:42abilities and allowing her to grow and sharing the information I have instead of holding
- 54:52my information in the idea that well she can only do this and I can
- 54:55do the rest and now they need to come to me. And I'm not
- 54:59about that. I'm like, I don't know. I'm not going to play
- 55:00that game. I want to lift her up. I want to because again,
- 55:06how many billions of people are on the planet. I can't she can't
- 55:08read for all of them, and I can't help them all. So it's
- 55:10like, no, let's lift you up in your strengths and grow and learn
- 55:15some skills so that you can help them. You have the ability to help
- 55:20them, and I have my habit, you know, my path. So
- 55:25yeah, it's always a choice to what everyone do. Yeah. I think
- 55:30it was Gordon Smith that was talking about his teacher told him that I'm not
- 55:35going to teach you how to use your skills, your your mediumship. I'm
- 55:38going to teach you how to how you handle the public, like how you
- 55:42handle each person. That was more valuable, she says. I don't need
- 55:45to teach you something that you already have an ability with. It's it's your
- 55:50natural thing. I don't need to teach you anything. But it's teaching you
- 55:53how to how you're going to respond to people, teaching us how to honor
- 55:57our boundaries, teaching us how to communicate messages in a neutral way so you're
- 56:02not setting them off or triggering them, right. You want them to have
- 56:06an amazing experience at that point and know that they're sitting with their loved one,
- 56:09but without triggering these emotions. And so there's a lot of stuff that
- 56:14kind of goes along with all the stuff. It's responsibility, it really is.
- 56:17It's like one with one person in one medium would say that she knew
- 56:21when they were going to die, and it's like, after a few times
- 56:23of saying it, it's like she quit saying it, because things can change.
- 56:27If you know that you're going to die, it might even it might
- 56:30be a positive and encourage you to even live more. You go out and
- 56:32live us, to your life, to the police, and next thing you
- 56:35know, you're still here. Right. There's there's so many factors, but
- 56:37it's like that it's just being aware of that stuff. Or even saying we've
- 56:43talked to a familiar person that was told after her son died that you know,
- 56:50he was stuck and he couldn't believe this has happened to him. Those
- 56:52are all that was someone's experience at that time, that was the medium's experience
- 56:58once they were sharing it with the person the sitter. But it's like recognizing
- 57:01that information is not beneficial. And it's also having the knowledge that if you've
- 57:07been doing mediumship you because I've heard it as a familiar among mediums is when
- 57:14a person comes through, they're they're always bringing forth the information that you need
- 57:21to hear at the time, but they're always doing it from a space of
- 57:25it's always for the greatest good of the client or for the sitter. It's
- 57:29all it always is. So when you're doing it that way, it's like
- 57:31I feel like you're always guided. You could always go out and get more
- 57:35and more teachers and study and learn more. There's the benefits of all that
- 57:38there really is. But it's like at the same time, I know that
- 57:42we have access to all that was inside of ourselves, and like you said,
- 57:46we've got like you, you can guide them into certain places and what
- 57:50to look at and everything else. But it's it's there's so much bigger stuff
- 57:52going on like that, and we just really people that are here can be
- 57:57very tender, very sensitive, and it's like they might be on gosh,
- 58:01we're listening to that he spent how many times, And she's talked about people
- 58:06sitting right across from her and telling her, Man, if you didn't bring
- 58:08them through today, I was I already have my pills in my purse and
- 58:13I was going to go kill myself after this. And and you know that's
- 58:15after their loved ones said like, hey, you don't need to take those
- 58:17pills that are in your purse, right like call them out so to be
- 58:21seen. But so it's it's just recognizing there's like a gosh, almost like
- 58:25a you almost have to learn how to counsel when you're in those kind of
- 58:29situations too in a lot of ways, or just lets do his job.
- 58:34Maybe that's just all part of the natural parts of it. And that's that
- 58:38was one of one of the things that I told her right away. I
- 58:40said, don't don't have people dependent on you. Oh yeah, I said,
- 58:45that's you're going to be in my world. I am not a person
- 58:50who wants people dependent on me. I want you to learn, I want
- 58:52you to grow, and I want you to even outgrow me because I'm helping
- 58:58people with where they're at right now. And as you evolve, you're going
- 59:00to outgrow me. You're going to need a new mentor. It's okay.
- 59:02I'm okay with that because you're you're growing and expanding and say, it's the
- 59:07same thing with your clients. You you bring them in, you have the
- 59:13the reading with them, you know, you know, affirm the idea that
- 59:21we are still energy and connected and always around. And you teach them or
- 59:30let them know or encourage them to learn to do it on their own.
- 59:35They are not to be dependent upon you, and keep coming back to you
- 59:37time and time and time again because they need that affirmation for me. They
- 59:43need that confirmation for me. You start teaching them how to do it for
- 59:45themselves, help them be independent. And so that's the space I come from
- 59:52and I do the same thing in my coaching and my classes, so growing,
- 1:00:00continuously growing, and that to go along with our conversation of bringing this
- 1:00:05person up is also that how quickly she stepped into it and not know a
- 1:00:13damn thing about it, Like she had no clue, Jo, don't know
- 1:00:15what it was about, she didn't know how it works, but she stepped
- 1:00:20into it. And then she would contact me and she'd do it and something
- 1:00:23else would come through and then so we've been going back and forth, but
- 1:00:28she was she had enough courage to just step into something she had nothing,
- 1:00:32she knew nothing about, And so that goes along with what we were talking
- 1:00:37about earlier. Something's on your heart and the desires are like like Bev said,
- 1:00:43we are creative beings. Use your creative skills to step into it.
- 1:00:50And also know that there is a lot of support around. Sometimes that support
- 1:00:53you can't see it. It's our spirits guiding us, right, And so
- 1:00:59step in to it anyway because and be all will with the stars will align
- 1:01:05and the people will come to help guide you and support you and help you
- 1:01:09flourish and be even more amazing in that role. So gosh, it's so
- 1:01:16true. I mean, I agree, with a lot of with what you
- 1:01:20were saying, I really do. It just makes sense to me. And
- 1:01:24I also know about having the healthy boundaries because people they don't do it on
- 1:01:29purpose, but they'll keep going to you constantly, yeah, instead of going
- 1:01:34within, so then they're relying upon something else. Right, It's to me,
- 1:01:38it's like a long It's along the same lines of when we raise our
- 1:01:42kids. We kind of got a lot of make decisions and stuff, even
- 1:01:45though we can see that this may not be the best decisions they're making right
- 1:01:49now, but they've got to make these decisions because that's how they're learning.
- 1:01:52And we do it as service by doing it for them, because then they
- 1:01:54have no clue. Then then when you're gone and you're not you're you're making
- 1:01:59millions and you know you're not able, they're not able to just schedule with
- 1:02:01you like they would have scheduled with you before, or or whatever whatever the
- 1:02:06perspective is. You know what I mean, You're not gonna be able to
- 1:02:08sing in small groups anymore because you're singing on stage at a at a big
- 1:02:12venue. That's what your what your life looks like now. So things change
- 1:02:15and you're not is accessible to everybody else. But it's fun, you know,
- 1:02:19And it's one of the things I've listened to different psychics. They say
- 1:02:23Mayvis Patilla is one of those two that she wishes she would have enjoyed the
- 1:02:27journey a little bit more when she when this all started for her, because
- 1:02:30we want to go grow through it so fast and not want we want to
- 1:02:37be at a certain stage, but we don't want to go through the whole
- 1:02:39process of getting there. But that process of getting there is has so much
- 1:02:43value in it, and that's the whole thing. Even even though I'll be
- 1:02:46fifty four this year, and maybe I don't know exactly what I'm doing at
- 1:02:50this particular moment, but it's like I know that it's constantly evolving into something
- 1:02:54else. So it's like I'm just finally at a stage where I'm enjoying the
- 1:02:59journey of it mostly. You know, when you have your bad days,
- 1:03:01you have or what it feels like, maybe a bad day, which is
- 1:03:05not even the same as it used to be. I don't know, They're
- 1:03:07just different. Now. Bad days are not the same as the old bad
- 1:03:09days. Those were like those bran ons for months. Now these will last
- 1:03:14be maybe an hour or two or you know, I'll have my moments and
- 1:03:19I'll blow up. And if I get to that point and it's sober and
- 1:03:24I feel like because I understand, and I have to say my bad days
- 1:03:29today compared to my bad days, then my bad day's end twenty four to
- 1:03:34seven, unless I was a sleep of course, so maybe twenty four or
- 1:03:38seven eighteen eighteen seven eighteen hours a day, seven days like that was that
- 1:03:45was bad days. Now, if there's I'm gonna say quote unquote bad because
- 1:03:52because we don't define bad or good, just is. But if I have
- 1:03:57a day that gets me emotionally just drop once every other week, a couple
- 1:04:04times a month compared to where I was, I'm like, that's huge,
- 1:04:11right, that is huge, and I am blessed for that. So and
- 1:04:16really, the things that are that I'm perceiving as uncomfortable is because I'm perceiving
- 1:04:23them that way and I'm ads So it's all on me. So I'm creating
- 1:04:30my own discomfort because of the way I'm looking at what's happening outside of me
- 1:04:38and internalizing. It always comes back to me. It always comes back to
- 1:04:41I'm not good enough, which means I'm not loving and accepted. So it's
- 1:04:45up to me to change that. And I can only change that for myself.
- 1:04:46So so those uncomfortable moments last, like you said, an hour,
- 1:04:53maybe right, maybe maybe half a day, but not days, weeks,
- 1:04:58months, and years. So that's huge, you know, something that I'm
- 1:05:04hit my mind just now. I thought I had been doing really good with
- 1:05:09my awareness on stuff like that, but it's like yesterday, it was kind
- 1:05:12of a long day for me. I had seen like four people and then
- 1:05:15at the last one we end up being there for like three hours, I
- 1:05:19mean because we sat and talked afterwards and stuff. So it was a long
- 1:05:25It was a long day and I wasn't recognizing it. And I was talking
- 1:05:27to Freeman and I was saying things and he's like, ooh, yeah,
- 1:05:31he said something about that I was putting stress on my teas and I'm like,
- 1:05:34really I am, and he said yeah, and he says, well,
- 1:05:39you probably haven't eaten. I had not eaten. I hadn't eaten since
- 1:05:42that morning because I hadn't had time between clients, and you probably haven't drank
- 1:05:47much water. And I started realizing these things and an at he's like,
- 1:05:50remember you've been on a high, and it's like that's the thing to remember
- 1:05:54too, Like even when you do your venues and you do all the other
- 1:05:57stuff, we get on this high place, but we have to make sure
- 1:06:00that we're still getting the water, the foods because we still got to.
- 1:06:03When we're high in that high place, we're vibing higher. I feel like
- 1:06:06we're burning probably burning more calories. There's a lot more going on as far
- 1:06:11as that goes, and we really need to I say need to, it's
- 1:06:15up to you. But an awareness of how you're feeling at those moments,
- 1:06:17which you know I've been talking about how you know, my teaching my granddaughter,
- 1:06:21my grandkids to be aware of what their bodies, what they're needing at
- 1:06:26the moment, and stuff like that. So it's like here I am,
- 1:06:29and then then I have someone else that's saying something to me. That's why
- 1:06:31it's so important for a community and for partners and stuff like that, because
- 1:06:35they notice things just like we notice things for other people. And then how
- 1:06:39are you presenting that information. He wasn't saying, oh, you're stressing your
- 1:06:42teas. Next thing, you know, you're going to be an asshole.
- 1:06:44He didn't say anything like that, but because in the past, hangary was
- 1:06:48a normal process for myself, you know, because I didn't you know,
- 1:06:54the supply and demand wasn't always there. But it's like it's just it takes
- 1:07:00a few minutes to assess ourselves. But I again thought I was doing so
- 1:07:03great, But now I can see, well, there's a little bit more
- 1:07:06fine tuning, and I also get to see how important it is. This
- 1:07:11body needs food, it needs fuel, this body needs water in order to
- 1:07:15function and keep doing these things that I want to do. So it's like
- 1:07:18it's there's like a give and take even with our own physical bodies that if
- 1:07:23we're not taking the time to listen to it, we find ourselves in these
- 1:07:27depressed, depressive moments or these places that we feel like we can get out
- 1:07:30of. And it's some of the things are as simple as eating foods or
- 1:07:34what foods are you eating? Are you eating a lot of processed stuff?
- 1:07:38Are you eating a lot of stuff with dyes? And because a lot of
- 1:07:40that stuff can have an emotional reaction to your body. Your body is reacting
- 1:07:44to those chemicals that you're putting into it. So it's just being aware because
- 1:07:47we can make our lives so much better, or we can stay in the
- 1:07:50struggle and delete that crap. I mean, it's okay, it's all right,
- 1:07:54there's nothing wrong with it. I did it for many years, but
- 1:07:56it's not it's unnecessary when you start. It's just like when you go through
- 1:08:00the spiritual stuff, when you start sensing and feeling a lot of these things.
- 1:08:04When you're feeling great, it's great, you're in that high space all
- 1:08:09the time, right, You're just great, and any little thing can,
- 1:08:12you know, kind of knock it off a bit. It could, especially
- 1:08:15in the early times, that it can take you off your course and you're
- 1:08:18thinking, I was doing so great, and then that person and then you
- 1:08:21recognize that you're blaming somebody else for something and it had nothing to do with
- 1:08:25anybody else, but letting you know where you were at that moment. Maybe
- 1:08:28you needed food or water. It's just like taking those times, even for
- 1:08:32that stuff, you're paying attention to your thoughts, pay attention to how you're
- 1:08:35treating the body, like are you honoring it? Are you nourishing it with
- 1:08:41what it needs, whether it's a bath or oils or lotions or foods or
- 1:08:45just reast. Sometimes rest is all we need, yeah, or sure,
- 1:08:51it's eleven eleven. Yeah, I wouldn't do that. I've done that like
- 1:08:57three or four weeks and I'm like, just look not you can see I'm
- 1:09:00I'm looking at my lap. Whether I'm looking at you because we're my cant,
- 1:09:04I don't know. I'm just looking at you in the picture and then
- 1:09:09everyone's ever. I just it's like, look at the clock and it's eleven
- 1:09:13eleven. So I think that's fun and a lot and those four four fours.
- 1:09:18You know, thank you for sharing your wisdom with us about the body
- 1:09:23and paying attention to it, and it's important for people to hear that stuff.
- 1:09:27So with that, this is tea time with Amy and Bev. I
- 1:09:34don't know, I love coming here every week or having these conversations as much
- 1:09:39as possible and sharing the information with other people. So my expression expression of
- 1:09:47gratitude towards you, Bev for showing up as well and being we're doing this
- 1:09:51almost about four years and it's been amazing journey just for us. So I
- 1:09:57think that's fun and exciting and it took us to say yes to doing it.
- 1:10:03So when you're thinking about doing something you're feeling called to do it,
- 1:10:10just say yes, just do it and just see where it goes, because
- 1:10:13it could be an incredible ride. So thank you for being here. Tea
- 1:10:18time with Amy and Bev. Remember to share us with your friends and family,
