- 0:05SPEAKER_01: Get it together.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: We're gonna dry out today, which is good.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: Okay, so we w uh yesterday, I I don't know if you experienced this at all.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: It was an all-day rain out yesterday at my house once I got home.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: This wasn't really quite gonna expect to be that much rain.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: We thought, oh no, this concert's gonna get rained out.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: But then if you looked at the weather here yesterday, it rained all day yesterday, and then Canadagwa, all sunshine, it ended up being the best weather.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: Totally different.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: But for today, it's gonna be awesome.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Russell Dickerson's tonight and tags.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: Centertown social.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: Before that, I'll bet you they're gonna have the big doors open, those garage door things.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Airing the place out so you can come in.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: They've got tons of patio room over at Centertown Social.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: I pass Centertown every almost every single day of the week.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: And they always have the umbrellas up, the lights are strung over there.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, the vibes right.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so five to seven before you go to Russell Dickerson on this freaking perfect night.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's gonna be gorgeous for the show tonight.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Come over and have a drink because Scott and I will be pouring from five to seven.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, one last text that I have to read.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: This is just kind of wrapping up.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: This stems back to I've never played solitaire.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: And I don't even know how to play solitaire.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Nobody's ever taught me, which is kind of ironic because it's solitaire.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: Like that would sound like it's more than one person.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: And I know you're not an only child, but you didn't really grow up with your brothers being around.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: I would figure your parents would teach you that.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, uh, never, never once.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: It was just not a thing.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: Anyway, I come over to 0432.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: They said cornhole never played.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: Well, my friend, not this much.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: You don't have to worry.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Because here in the Twin Tiers, we love to make Cornhole a giant fundraiser pretending to be a draw for hundreds of people.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Cornhole drives me BS crazy.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: It's a backyard game that you play when you've had uh, I don't know, uh a family get together and you're just like, uh, you want to go play some cornhole?
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: And yet we drill this thing in the twin tiers like it is the biggest draw.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Come on out to the BFW, we're gonna raise money for whatever and play 10 boards of cornhole.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Oh shoot me in the head.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Also, if you really, really, really want to play cornhole, I was at a bar restaurant up on Seneca last uh last weekend.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: It's called Boar's Nest.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: They have it's huge in there.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: So when you walk in, like the front is like restaurant, bar area.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: The back used to be a barn that they transferred into.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: There's a stage back there, there's tables back there.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: They have cornhole.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: So you can go and play.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: You and I invented a game last football season, uh, which was a bit of a play off the lameness of cornhole.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: Do you remember we did our uh bowling game, our football bowling?
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: What the hell did we call that?
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: I don't remember because I was trying to tell somebody this story the other day, and I was like, I don't know.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: It was between cornhole bowling and football.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Bowling?
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: It was cornhole.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: And we we came up with Cornfootball.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: I don't remember the name of it.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: We came up with this and people loved it.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, remember when we played it at Oaks.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: We had the full 10 pins set up from a bowling alley.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Crystal Lanez.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: And uh we were throwing a football at it, trying to get strikes and stuff, and people loved it.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: I'm hoping to do it again this year.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Far bet yeah, me too.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Far better than uh cornhole.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: So you're really missing nothing.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: Anyway, moving on now.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Um, also, John 317, there's only one reason that I can't wait till Monday is because of your text.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: So you said that you were planning on smoking the chocolate chip cookies.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: This dates back about three weeks.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so we have this listener who is the ultimate smoker.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Oh, he's so good.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: The pictures he sends me every weekend.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Food not marps.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: And I don't know what he's doing hanging over the grill.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: He might be like a dad from the 70s, where like, baggage they're almost done, let me put a little bit of ash on this.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: I don't know why.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: He's not a smoker.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't know why this came up, but we were talking about smoking chocolate chip cookies.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: So he said he's gonna try it this weekend.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: I can't wait to hear what this turns out to be.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: By the way, thank you, Heather.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: We called it Falling.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Football bowling.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: We can't remember the name of our own our own things, but our audience remembers Falling.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, and we thank you for that.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: Seriously.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Pony Joe said, Did you guys pick the winner for that social hangout, this the afterwork social that we're gonna be at tonight?
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Joe, are you with us this week?
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: First of all, I say in the beginning of the show, I'm not into this fantasy gaming.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: He goes, if you're into fantasy gaming, you should check this out.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Uh Joe, come on.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Everyone listens at all different times.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, no, everyone barely listens, apparently, today, Pony Joe.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: We we picked corning phlebotomy.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Was it Guthrie?
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, the hospital.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Okay, I couldn't remember.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: Anyway, we chose the lot of bloodsuckers, if you will.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Hey! Oh, is that what it is?
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but don't worry, because if you put your office in, we're gonna be doing one next month and you're still good to go.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well we'll reopen for anybody else that didn't get in this time.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, you guys are all good.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: All right, in a minute, Allie's got what'd you do to him this time?
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Honest to God, what'd you do to Zach this time?
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love pranking Zach.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: It's my favorite thing.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Why tort?
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: This man is decent to you.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, decently he treats me like a queen.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: Then why are you messing with him?
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Because it's funny and fun.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: You can't leave well enough alone, and I'm No, that's what makes our relationship thrive.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Oh so you say.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: So I pr I pranked him at the concert.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, tell me in a minute.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: I will.
