- 0:24Speaker 1: of your daughters. They called you wisdom. Proverbs on the

- 1:08Speaker 1: Dropping Dropping Gym. Welcome to The Dropping Gym's podcast. I
- 1:13Speaker 1: am your host, Debbie Brown. This my show, So glad
- 1:17Speaker 1: you are here. This is a place where we demystify
- 1:21Speaker 1: higher consciousness and really grounded and rooted so that we
- 1:26Speaker 1: can make it applicable to our daily lives. On today's show,
- 1:30Speaker 1: my guest Dr Sue has Sheer Cigar, such an incredible,
- 1:36Speaker 1: brilliant man who I have had the amazing opportunity to
- 1:40Speaker 1: be connected to through my work at Chopra Global. So
- 1:44Speaker 1: I have been working as a Chief Impact Officer at
- 1:47Speaker 1: Choper Global. I'm also the voice of daily Meditation on
- 1:49Speaker 1: our Choper app for this last year. And one of
- 1:53Speaker 1: the first people that I met when I came to
- 1:56Speaker 1: Chopra was Dr Sue Haas and one of the first
- 1:59Speaker 1: conversations I had was with him, and I was just
- 2:04Speaker 1: in awe. So when I have the chance to get
- 2:07Speaker 1: him on the show so we can talk about all
- 2:09Speaker 1: the incredible things that he does, all of his vast
- 2:12Speaker 1: amount of wisdom and knowledge, I jumped at the chance also,
- 2:17Speaker 1: and I'm going to do a whole nother show about
- 2:19Speaker 1: this um but I am recording the show a few
- 2:22Speaker 1: days removed from having spent six days in complete silence
- 2:29Speaker 1: in the mountains of Yosemite as part of our Choper retreat.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It's called Silent Awakenings. We put this retreat on once
- 2:37Speaker 1: a year. It's about six days and we had close
- 2:40Speaker 1: to two people in the mountains eating a beautiful iravated
- 2:45Speaker 1: diet in silence and having a nightly sat song Um
- 2:50Speaker 1: spiritual discourse wisdom tradition with the incomparable Deepark Chopra every day.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And it was an except experience and I had the
- 3:02Speaker 1: chance to host that retreat. So I did speak just
- 3:05Speaker 1: a little bit throughout the day, but I'm going to
- 3:07Speaker 1: record a whole other episode kind of diving into those
- 3:11Speaker 1: depths of what I unearthed in the silence and also
- 3:15Speaker 1: ways to give that to yourself even if you were
- 3:18Speaker 1: unable to disappear for that many days, and even if
- 3:22Speaker 1: you're unable to be silent for six days. We're going
- 3:26Speaker 1: to dive into some of that. So for those that
- 3:29Speaker 1: have been asking, I have had d m s about
- 3:31Speaker 1: it already. I will expand on that very very soon.
- 3:34Speaker 1: The doctor Suhas today we're going to sink into this
- 3:38Speaker 1: really really savory conversation. Dr Suhas Shear Cigar is a

- 4:33Speaker 1: other leaders in the field. He also travels throughout the
- 4:36Speaker 1: world teaching courses in Iurveda, training doctors, and providing Iurveated
- 4:41Speaker 1: consultations for thousands of patients. It is so amazing to
- 4:46Speaker 1: have you here. Welcome to the show. Dr Sue has here.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I am so happy to have you here. I am
- 4:53Speaker 1: kind of obsessed with you. I'm obsessed with you and
- 4:56Speaker 1: your wife. Actually, I think you guys are this like
- 4:58Speaker 1: amazing cosmic power couple. Yes, I'm so happy and so
- 5:03Speaker 1: blessed to have her in my life. I just saw you.
- 5:07Speaker 1: We were in Yosemite together this past week at the
- 5:11Speaker 1: Chopra Silent Awakenings Retreat, and I had a chance to
- 5:16Speaker 1: sit in on the beautiful song that you and depacted together,
- 5:20Speaker 1: and it just first of all, the two of you together,
- 5:25Speaker 1: Dr Suhas, I'm just like goo, I'm like on the floor,
- 5:29Speaker 1: I'm turned into goo. I'm just like pure, i am
- 5:32Speaker 1: consciousness whenever I hear your voices, and then you know,
- 5:35Speaker 1: I go back into life. That's very nice of you.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You were silent and you were just all listening kind
- 5:43Speaker 1: of remote, so it has a little double impact that yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 1: Dr Suhas. You know, I first came to your work
- 5:51Speaker 1: when I started working with Chopra, and one of the
- 5:53Speaker 1: amazing things that I got to do with my very
- 5:55Speaker 1: first week was have a meeting with you and you
- 6:00Speaker 1: looked at some of my chart. You are a medical astrologer.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I will never forget the first thing that you said
- 6:07Speaker 1: to me when you looked at my chart. Do you remember.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I do remember talking to you. I don't remember the
- 6:11Speaker 1: very first thing what it said on what I told you.
- 6:14Speaker 1: So one of the first things that you said when
- 6:16Speaker 1: you opened my chart, you said, oh, I see you
- 6:19Speaker 1: do for a divorce this year? Did that happen and
- 6:25Speaker 1: then I told you, well, actually, yes, that's in my
- 6:28Speaker 1: astrology chart. Well, I'm glad you brought it up. I
- 6:33Speaker 1: didn't want to say it from my side, but yes,
- 6:36Speaker 1: when astrology is is a very interesting science, Daby, I'm
- 6:41Speaker 1: glad we are talking about this today, and I would
- 6:43Speaker 1: like to decode this whole myth from astrology as a
- 6:48Speaker 1: something atune telling or telling something that you're fearful to know.
- 6:53Speaker 1: It's not about that at all. It's a very simple
- 6:56Speaker 1: science which is based on total mathematics, astronomy and the
- 7:01Speaker 1: waving sciences, which is very ancient. Is the most ancient
- 7:05Speaker 1: body of knowledge that is known to humanity. And the
- 7:09Speaker 1: Sanskrit word for astrology is called it's joe fish. Joty
- 7:13Speaker 1: means light and each means divine, so as if you're
- 7:16Speaker 1: shedding some divine light to see a few things, what
- 7:20Speaker 1: is more than what meets your eyes. You're able to
- 7:23Speaker 1: see more, You're able to feel more, You're able to
- 7:26Speaker 1: sense more, You're able to understand a person a little
- 7:29Speaker 1: bit more in their totality, more so than what is
- 7:33Speaker 1: in front of you, how they dazzle you with the
- 7:37Speaker 1: clothes there we are, or the language they speak and
- 7:40Speaker 1: things like that. The chart is like a blueprint, your
- 7:44Speaker 1: date play, some time of birth, where you were in
- 7:47Speaker 1: the cosmic scheme of things at that time. It lays
- 7:50Speaker 1: it out. And your job with an astrology is to
- 7:54Speaker 1: be is to be humble, to be mindful, to be
- 7:57Speaker 1: to be kind, and to be compassionate, to be able
- 8:00Speaker 1: to look at the chart, understand the person and guide
- 8:03Speaker 1: them gently to the best of your ability. Because you
- 8:07Speaker 1: look at the good and bad times, you see things
- 8:10Speaker 1: on a spectrum scale, and I think that is what
- 8:13Speaker 1: astrology is all about. And I would like to bring
- 8:17Speaker 1: this attention even more strongly because it's a it's a
- 8:21Speaker 1: psychotherapeutic tool because it's not only to diagnose what's going on,
- 8:26Speaker 1: but it's also to help them heal from some of
- 8:29Speaker 1: their strengths or some of their imperfections or some of
- 8:34Speaker 1: their weaknesses. So it's a second where we do power
- 8:38Speaker 1: pact so many things together, which may be a bit overwhelming,
- 8:42Speaker 1: but I think that's the whole purpose of it, and
- 8:44Speaker 1: that's the reason why it has been around since time
- 8:47Speaker 1: in memorial. I would say, it's so amazing, and I
- 8:52Speaker 1: you know, and I speak to that on this show
- 8:54Speaker 1: quite a bit. I find it to be a tool
- 8:57Speaker 1: that for me even transcends therapy. You know, when you
- 9:00Speaker 1: get to a certain point of like cognitive understanding of yourself,
- 9:03Speaker 1: tools like this, I think help sink you into mastery.
- 9:07Speaker 1: They help sink you into a deeper part of your path,
- 9:10Speaker 1: of your drma um. And it's been, it's been mind
- 9:13Speaker 1: blowing in such a beautiful journey for me to be
- 9:16Speaker 1: connected to my chart in this way. Well, and in
- 9:20Speaker 1: a lighter sense, you have so many other folks to
- 9:23Speaker 1: blame too, isn't it. In terms of those you say, oh,
- 9:26Speaker 1: it's my bat, it's my pita. But here you have
- 9:29Speaker 1: nine planets and God which one of them is retrograde
- 9:33Speaker 1: or which one of them is a negative transit? So
- 9:35Speaker 1: you have many more to blame to. That makes you
- 9:38Speaker 1: feel better somehow. It's not me, it's that retrograde market,
- 9:42Speaker 1: or it's my Saturn transit. It's making me thinks behave
- 9:45Speaker 1: act this way and some of the challenges that you feel.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Always gives you a little hope because they're all swirling,
- 9:53Speaker 1: they're all moving, they're changing it all and space and
- 9:58Speaker 1: time is all about the continu unity of things, the karma,
- 10:02Speaker 1: the wheel of karma is moving, it's shifting, it's changing,
- 10:05Speaker 1: so you don't feel stuck and stagnant about something good
- 10:07Speaker 1: or bad that is happening to you. But it's shifting,
- 10:11Speaker 1: it's going to be changed, and it's going to evolve.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And it's a room that you are able to think
- 10:16Speaker 1: what is going on at a cosmic level, and the
- 10:19Speaker 1: decision that you make and the choices that you make,
- 10:22Speaker 1: if they all synchronized together, then you are much more
- 10:26Speaker 1: awakened and you have a sense of heightened awareness how
- 10:29Speaker 1: to live your life that way? M M. And you
- 10:33Speaker 1: know Dr Sue has you are a medical astrologer. What
- 10:37Speaker 1: exactly is that in the lineage and how does it operate?
- 10:40Speaker 1: How does it further inform someone's life experience? Well, medical
- 10:45Speaker 1: astrologer means someone who is a physician and an astrologer
- 10:49Speaker 1: at the same time. Okay, so we call it as
- 10:51Speaker 1: an idea with the position as white there the word
- 10:54Speaker 1: white there v a I d by a comes from
- 10:57Speaker 1: the roots as to the word called with me to know,
- 11:01Speaker 1: to know completely, not truly and the way there along
- 11:05Speaker 1: with a joke issue together you're not only able to
- 11:08Speaker 1: see and understand the person, but to look at their
- 11:12Speaker 1: property much more closely, because many times you take those
- 11:14Speaker 1: quizzes and you're answering those questions which are based on imbalance.
- 11:19Speaker 1: So I can't sleep last few days, so I might
- 11:21Speaker 1: be having this. So many times you end up in
- 11:24Speaker 1: answering your questions which are more in the form of
- 11:27Speaker 1: vickerity or in the form of imbalances. But when you
- 11:30Speaker 1: look at the chart, you look at the trends where
- 11:32Speaker 1: you were born, what your parents were, how how your
- 11:35Speaker 1: early childhood trends was. It gives you a much more
- 11:38Speaker 1: clarity about their body type, their procuity. It also gives
- 11:42Speaker 1: you a lot of clarity about their vicurity, which is
- 11:45Speaker 1: the imbalances so which those share. They are having more
- 11:49Speaker 1: tendency to have imbalance, whether you will be prone for
- 11:52Speaker 1: a kafygenic imbalance, gaining way having diabetes or sensitive to
- 11:57Speaker 1: simple starches or carbohydrates, or you'll be a fit the
- 12:01Speaker 1: predominant where you will be having more inflammation inflammatory tendencies
- 12:06Speaker 1: or to human diseases, or you will be more prone
- 12:08Speaker 1: for vatagenic imbalances which are more anxiety, sleeplessness, degenerative condition,
- 12:15Speaker 1: osteoar c retistics like that. So you look at the property.
- 12:19Speaker 1: You look at the vicuity, but you also try to
- 12:21Speaker 1: find out what their innate vitality is, how good their
- 12:25Speaker 1: unity is, and what are the weak organs in the system.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Whether you have heart which is a little bit more weak,
- 12:32Speaker 1: or you have liver which is a bit sluggish, or
- 12:34Speaker 1: you have challenges with your kidneys or your nervous system,
- 12:38Speaker 1: or your gut or your joints or the muscular federal system.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So you're able to see the property, You're able to
- 12:44Speaker 1: see the vickrity, You're able to see the immunity. You're
- 12:47Speaker 1: able to assist the overall odes or vitality in a
- 12:51Speaker 1: given person and correlate that with the state of their
- 12:55Speaker 1: mind by nature, whether your moon sign, which tells us
- 12:59Speaker 1: whether by nature you're a sadic person, suppo something you're light, bright, clarity,
- 13:06Speaker 1: whether you're a rag stick person where you are driven, ambitious,
- 13:09Speaker 1: a little bit more um kind of moving kind of
- 13:14Speaker 1: a person, dynamic person or passionate, or your thomasick person
- 13:19Speaker 1: which is under the influence of Thomas, which is a
- 13:21Speaker 1: little bit dull, heavy, lazy, procrastinating things like that. So
- 13:25Speaker 1: it tells you about your mental state. It also tells
- 13:28Speaker 1: you about your derma what you're supposed to do. It
- 13:31Speaker 1: also tells you about your karma, the action that you're doing,
- 13:34Speaker 1: whether they tend to be pure, they tend to be impure,
- 13:37Speaker 1: whether you have a shadowy part of your personality where
- 13:40Speaker 1: you say one thing into something else. It also tells
- 13:43Speaker 1: you whether you have some karmic blessings, that you're born
- 13:46Speaker 1: and blessed in a good family, with a good upbringing,
- 13:49Speaker 1: with good siblings, with all the blessings in life. Some
- 13:52Speaker 1: people life is really easy, simple, effortless. They get everything
- 13:56Speaker 1: what they want at the right time. And some people's
- 13:58Speaker 1: life is full of struggles and challenges and difficulties, and
- 14:02Speaker 1: sometimes that creates diseases. The obstacles failures create a lot
- 14:06Speaker 1: of physical diseases that we see. So when you look
- 14:10Speaker 1: at the job from a medical astrology perspective, you're actually
- 14:14Speaker 1: trying to find out what is the source of their
- 14:16Speaker 1: hard burning, high per city really coming from. What is
- 14:19Speaker 1: the reason why they're actually having inservenia, Because as as
- 14:23Speaker 1: a physician, I know that you have inservenia, but as
- 14:26Speaker 1: an astrology I would know why you're having sleepless nights
- 14:30Speaker 1: or what is bugging you? What is probably and when
- 14:34Speaker 1: you put them together, you can come up with a
- 14:37Speaker 1: with a template or a model which is far far
- 14:40Speaker 1: more effective. And I've been practicing this for over thirty
- 14:44Speaker 1: years now, and what Dost taught me is that the
- 14:48Speaker 1: totality that I understand of the person, give them the
- 14:51Speaker 1: tools and power them, help them understand. Astrology should not
- 14:55Speaker 1: weaken a person, but should strengthen them. Not that pops,
- 15:01Speaker 1: my parents blew it up and they kind of gave me,
- 15:08Speaker 1: gave birth to me at a wrong time or something.
- 15:10Speaker 1: It's not about that. It's about understanding what the limitations
- 15:14Speaker 1: are affecting and using your strength and maybe minimizing your weaknesses.
- 15:20Speaker 1: And if you use it properly, I think it can
- 15:23Speaker 1: be and it has been used for ages together in
- 15:27Speaker 1: this model of healing the body as well as healing
- 15:31Speaker 1: the mind. And the most important thing. And I really
- 15:34Speaker 1: admire your word, baby, because you're living to your true name.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Davy means divine goddess, and the word davy doesn't mean
- 15:43Speaker 1: something esoteric. It simply means appreciating the goodness in anything
- 15:48Speaker 1: and everything. So having that very optimistic outlook in identifying
- 15:54Speaker 1: goodness in everything, no matter how difficult or challenging things
- 15:57Speaker 1: are and that is what the word av your divine
- 16:00Speaker 1: actually means. So knowing your therma way too early, building
- 16:06Speaker 1: your professional career, who you are, how you think, how
- 16:10Speaker 1: you live, and you integrate your therma with your care mind,
- 16:13Speaker 1: your actions together and you live your life that way.
- 16:16Speaker 1: That makes it rather easy. And I think that's exactly
- 16:19Speaker 1: what we do in terms of helping and guiding people
- 16:23Speaker 1: to use astrology, to use medical astrology to to correct
- 16:27Speaker 1: their faulty patterns of diet and behavior and emotions and
- 16:33Speaker 1: reset them with the spiritual understanding of life. Because the
- 16:37Speaker 1: purpose is to slowly guide them towards their spiritual self.
- 16:42Speaker 1: You can't keep them in the dichotomy of the mind
- 16:45Speaker 1: and body because they are polar opposites. You can't constantly
- 16:49Speaker 1: deal with just the mind and the body. You have
- 16:51Speaker 1: to find spiritual solutions for the problems in your mind
- 16:55Speaker 1: and body. And I think bothish sessions or the medical
- 16:58Speaker 1: astrology session is a perfect way to good bah wow
- 17:04Speaker 1: wow wow wow. Thank you so much Dr Suhas for
- 17:07Speaker 1: the kind words you shared with me. Um as it
- 17:10Speaker 1: relates to me, I'm really grateful for that. It's rocking.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Char We have kind of spoken about here on this show.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Charts and the influence in the way that astrology can
- 17:28Speaker 1: be just and an absolutely powerful and gorgeous tool for
- 17:33Speaker 1: your life. But when you you know, when you look
- 17:36Speaker 1: at a chart and you have these perceived and I
- 17:39Speaker 1: know there's no good or bad, but when you have
- 17:41Speaker 1: these perceived oh that's a really good chart. That's a
- 17:44Speaker 1: really bad chart. Um, because I have a challenging chart,
- 17:48Speaker 1: but it's mostly to me. I still see like really epic,
- 17:52Speaker 1: amazing nous in my chart. How do how is it
- 17:56Speaker 1: that we fall under these categories when we choose to
- 18:03Speaker 1: incarnate when we come here? How is it that we
- 18:05Speaker 1: end up with the charts that we have or with
- 18:07Speaker 1: the karma that we have? And how do we kind
- 18:10Speaker 1: of play with it? Well, it's a great question, and
- 18:13Speaker 1: this is the eternal quest that they have, and I
- 18:17Speaker 1: faced these questions all the time that am I blessed
- 18:20Speaker 1: or cursed with my child? Well, you have no choice.
- 18:24Speaker 1: You are born at the given time to the given
- 18:27Speaker 1: set of parents that you chose, and that's where you
- 18:30Speaker 1: start your life, Okay, And that is the journey point.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Means whatever you cast the horoscope, that's their journey point.
- 18:37Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it should limit them to live that sway.
- 18:41Speaker 1: It is is a template, but you can always rise
- 18:45Speaker 1: above the limitations. I have seen people with absolutely mediocre
- 18:49Speaker 1: mediocre chart living a phenomenal life and doing amazing things. Really,
- 18:54Speaker 1: And I have seen charts which are filled with rod
- 18:57Speaker 1: yoga as and royal combinations and having absolutely good for
- 19:01Speaker 1: nothing life. Wow, what is it that makes either of
- 19:06Speaker 1: those selves? It's like playing a deck of cards, isn't
- 19:09Speaker 1: it that you can't choose what cards you have, but
- 19:13Speaker 1: how you play your game smartly? And you can still
- 19:17Speaker 1: win a game using the cards and making the moves
- 19:20Speaker 1: timely and properly. And I think that's exactly what it is.
- 19:25Speaker 1: It is it is understanding that whatever your limitations are,
- 19:30Speaker 1: minimizing those whatever your little strength, and every chart has
- 19:34Speaker 1: some strength and some weaknesses every charge. The sooner you
- 19:38Speaker 1: know and you minimize those things and potentiate the other
- 19:41Speaker 1: goodnesses in your charge, the more successful you're likely to be.
- 19:45Speaker 1: And many times people sometimes use their strength to the
- 19:48Speaker 1: degree where it almost becomes their weakness. And I've seen
- 19:52Speaker 1: people who who go to a meteoric rise in their
- 19:56Speaker 1: life and certainly collapse to to the depth of real
- 20:00Speaker 1: terrible situation in their life. So there is a planetary component,
- 20:04Speaker 1: but you can still do it in such a way.
- 20:07Speaker 1: And when you look at anybody's chart, you have to
- 20:11Speaker 1: always look at the certain times when people are actually
- 20:17Speaker 1: going to feel obstructions or blockage or more challenges. But
- 20:21Speaker 1: that doesn't mean that is a trend for the rest
- 20:23Speaker 1: of your life. When the things improve, When when you're
- 20:26Speaker 1: into a better scheme of things, what do you do?
- 20:29Speaker 1: What kind of actions do you do in order to
- 20:31Speaker 1: support and live up to that because everyone has to
- 20:34Speaker 1: do the curma. Is that right? You can't sit back
- 20:37Speaker 1: and relax or I have a phenomenal chart and I
- 20:39Speaker 1: don't have to do anything because it will all come
- 20:41Speaker 1: to me. Nobody has that luget, nobody has that luxury.
- 20:46Speaker 1: The sooner you can configure your derma and karma together,
- 20:50Speaker 1: blend your actions with what your strength are and meeting
- 20:54Speaker 1: the right people, talking to seeking the right kind of
- 20:58Speaker 1: opportunities and helping you to grow allows you to actually
- 21:02Speaker 1: get into that shape. And many times the Jokish chart
- 21:08Speaker 1: is I think this is the most important point that
- 21:10Speaker 1: we're going to discuss today. The Jokish chart is is
- 21:16Speaker 1: the field of Maya is a field of illusion, is
- 21:20Speaker 1: a field of restrictions, is something that almost cast a
- 21:26Speaker 1: spell on you, thinking that you are limited to this
- 21:29Speaker 1: or that. Because when you are in the field of maya,
- 21:34Speaker 1: when you are under the influence of just sensory activity
- 21:38Speaker 1: and not able to transcend just the challenges of your
- 21:42Speaker 1: mind and body, this maya the challenges, the limitations which
- 21:46Speaker 1: are bother you and bug you the most. The next
- 21:51Speaker 1: step when you transcend the field of maya, when you
- 21:56Speaker 1: are able to go beyond this way of illusion and
- 22:00Speaker 1: start living an awakened life. Start start doing yoga, start
- 22:07Speaker 1: living in accordance with the laws of nature, and that
- 22:10Speaker 1: spiritual element slowly starts transcending the impact of those planets.
- 22:17Speaker 1: The same saturn doesn't bug you or bother you anymore,
- 22:21Speaker 1: The same limitations of a negative transit doesn't bug you
- 22:25Speaker 1: anymore because you're almost creating a different shield or immunity
- 22:30Speaker 1: which your spiritual practice, which helps you transcend the limitations
- 22:35Speaker 1: of an astrology pic chart, and a good astrologer should
- 22:39Speaker 1: meet people where they are and slowly lead them where
- 22:43Speaker 1: they need to be, where the limitations and the challenges
- 22:47Speaker 1: of the chart should not But then or affect them
- 22:51Speaker 1: that strongly and that intensely. It's like it's like when
- 22:57Speaker 1: you are at the surface level of the ocean, then
- 23:00Speaker 1: the tides throw you from here to there. When you
- 23:03Speaker 1: go five feet deeper, you can feel the tide coming
- 23:05Speaker 1: and going, but it doesn't affect you. You go a
- 23:08Speaker 1: little bit deeper and the waves come and go, but
- 23:10Speaker 1: it's nice and quiet ten fiftet underneath the layer. And
- 23:15Speaker 1: that's exactly how you lead your life where the turbulence
- 23:19Speaker 1: of life doesn't really affect you. And our job collectively
- 23:23Speaker 1: as educators, as practitioners, as healers is taking people to
- 23:30Speaker 1: give them that experience, that experience of tranquility, calmness, depth
- 23:36Speaker 1: from where the emotions do not bug you as much.
- 23:40Speaker 1: You don't sway from like a pendulum from young to young,
- 23:44Speaker 1: from good to bad all day long. You're creating a
- 23:47Speaker 1: lot of stability, and that stability and that refinement stabilizes
- 23:51Speaker 1: your interact, It improves your choices, It slowly starts reprogramming
- 23:58Speaker 1: and changing your life. And I see quite a few
- 24:01Speaker 1: people who come to me with a lot of fear,
- 24:04Speaker 1: with a lot of anxiety, with a lot of needs
- 24:07Speaker 1: and wants that I wanted. I want that the kling model.
- 24:11Speaker 1: That some of them are skeptic, some of them are paranoid,
- 24:13Speaker 1: some of them are really worried, and no matter where
- 24:17Speaker 1: you come, but how we talk to them, how we
- 24:20Speaker 1: how we use the right lingo to guide them. I
- 24:23Speaker 1: think that is the key and I think that's the
- 24:27Speaker 1: that's the new model of vady counseling that I wrote
- 24:30Speaker 1: a book with Pundita Davis Shaft to David frolly Um
- 24:34Speaker 1: and it's available on Amazon. It's a sort after book
- 24:37Speaker 1: called it The Art and Science of Varic Counseling. How
- 24:41Speaker 1: to use the tools of yoga. Are you the Jutish
- 24:44Speaker 1: and all the vary sciences to counsel people through neuro
- 24:50Speaker 1: linguistic programming, through non violent communication, through neuro sculpting, and
- 24:55Speaker 1: almost a community behavioral therapy that you use the model
- 24:59Speaker 1: of are either with accessions and slowly guide them to
- 25:03Speaker 1: create that space and experience in their life. Wow wow
- 25:09Speaker 1: wow wow. You know I I especially love. I have
- 25:15Speaker 1: an appointment set up for you in two weeks. You
- 25:18Speaker 1: may not know, but it's on your schedule. We're gonna
- 25:20Speaker 1: go overhere, my sons start together. I love I love
- 25:25Speaker 1: the way. I love the way that you counsel so much,
- 25:32Speaker 1: and I love the way that you speak to this
- 25:33Speaker 1: work because something I felt in my session with you,
- 25:36Speaker 1: Dr Sue Hass was we were just working with what
- 25:41Speaker 1: is and when we take off that extra pressure, when
- 25:44Speaker 1: we take off some of that extra um, this idea
- 25:49Speaker 1: to make things look or feel more, I don't know more,
- 25:55Speaker 1: you know easy? I think does it a disservice sometimes?
- 25:59Speaker 1: And you know, I remember I had got I had
- 26:01Speaker 1: got a Yodish reading probably ten years ago, and when
- 26:05Speaker 1: that person was reading my chart, they said, you know,
- 26:09Speaker 1: when you turn this age, you might just start re
- 26:12Speaker 1: evaluating your feelings towards home. Right. That's the way that
- 26:16Speaker 1: they shared it with me. And I was like, okay,
- 26:17Speaker 1: that's so interesting. All right, wrote it down as a note.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I have my special with you and you're like, okay,
- 26:23Speaker 1: you're due for a divorce. Did you do it yet?
- 26:25Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, well, actually yes, oh that
- 26:28Speaker 1: was all aligned, you know, and I and I thought
- 26:31Speaker 1: to myself after my session with you, I said, wow,
- 26:34Speaker 1: you know, I think for me, knowing my particular type
- 26:38Speaker 1: of personality and the way that I integrated and moved
- 26:41Speaker 1: through life, I feel like it would have been such
- 26:47Speaker 1: a such a gift to have that depth of introspection
- 26:51Speaker 1: ten years ago. Well, and you're absolutely right because it is.
- 26:55Speaker 1: It is Taylor made for you your date, place and
- 26:59Speaker 1: time of Earth, where the planets were up in the
- 27:01Speaker 1: sky at that given time. We create a horoscope. This
- 27:05Speaker 1: is these are the twelve houses in the chart. This
- 27:07Speaker 1: is the planets where they were. Sun was in Leo,
- 27:11Speaker 1: Moon was in sagittariums. This is what was going on.
- 27:14Speaker 1: We placed those planets, but they're not staying there forever.
- 27:18Speaker 1: That's the starting point. That's the frozen structure of your
- 27:22Speaker 1: astrological chart. It's very dynamic because the planets are moving,
- 27:25Speaker 1: they're shifting different zodiac sign they're constantly moving in the orbit,
- 27:29Speaker 1: and they're exalting different effects on your life. And these
- 27:34Speaker 1: planets are like good and friends, good or bad friends
- 27:37Speaker 1: that you have. Okay, so like like some of some
- 27:40Speaker 1: friends that you have are really good that you want
- 27:43Speaker 1: to really learn and grow with them. They give you
- 27:46Speaker 1: more energy. Some people where you down and they drain
- 27:49Speaker 1: your energy, and they are interesting. Fear and things like that.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Some people are really toxic to be with. Some people
- 27:56Speaker 1: are so these nine planets are personified. Okay. Jupiter is
- 28:01Speaker 1: about spiritual growth and abundance. Son is about leadership and organization.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Moon is about sensitivities and emotions, Mars is about passion
- 28:11Speaker 1: and dynamism. Mercury is about speech and communication and expressions.
- 28:16Speaker 1: So these planets are kind of personified, and these qualities
- 28:20Speaker 1: that they have is what is affecting your chart, and
- 28:25Speaker 1: it is only to you because that's when you were
- 28:28Speaker 1: born in a given place where you were born. The
- 28:31Speaker 1: planets are transitting, and not only we have the main chart,
- 28:35Speaker 1: but we also have several divisional charts which we zoom
- 28:39Speaker 1: and micro zoom further and further, which gives you more
- 28:43Speaker 1: accurate trends. What is happening pertain into maybe your marriage,
- 28:47Speaker 1: put into your job, put into an investment or a
- 28:50Speaker 1: new buy that you're having, or you're anticipating a child,
- 28:53Speaker 1: or some challenges with your kids or your siblings, or
- 28:58Speaker 1: or your boss. So there are there are areas in
- 29:01Speaker 1: life that you can look from the chart that you're
- 29:04Speaker 1: currently getting affected with and the wisdom that we can
- 29:08Speaker 1: decode at that time what you need to know in
- 29:11Speaker 1: order to do that. Just a few minutes ago, I
- 29:14Speaker 1: finished a session with someone who was actually trying to
- 29:18Speaker 1: do some work, and she was a little bit professionally
- 29:21Speaker 1: overwhelmed and not able to do justice for herself, and
- 29:26Speaker 1: she was dealing with a client where she felt was
- 29:29Speaker 1: completely not ethical and something that she could really connect
- 29:34Speaker 1: and her her life purpose and understanding doesn't sink with
- 29:38Speaker 1: that kind of a client. And even though that was
- 29:41Speaker 1: helping her earn more money and things like that, she
- 29:43Speaker 1: didn't want to continue that activity. She's fine with earning
- 29:47Speaker 1: less money, but she didn't want to sacrifice her morals
- 29:50Speaker 1: and ethics to continue to do that work, which didn't
- 29:54Speaker 1: feel right. So when we look at the chart, it
- 29:56Speaker 1: looked as if that she's about to go into a
- 30:00Speaker 1: a choice a folk where she can make herself really
- 30:04Speaker 1: miserable continuing to do that work, or she can choose
- 30:08Speaker 1: and go and have a discussion and tell them that
- 30:11Speaker 1: I cannot continue to do this work. I can help
- 30:13Speaker 1: you find someone to work this and see you through
- 30:17Speaker 1: to the next level, but I can't continue to work.
- 30:20Speaker 1: And if you make one choice over the other choice,
- 30:23Speaker 1: that doesn't mean that we tell you with choice to make.
- 30:26Speaker 1: We can guide you with choice to make. Yeah, And
- 30:28Speaker 1: then if you make that decision. I think that is
- 30:31Speaker 1: what the purples and the message of astrology is all about.
- 30:35Speaker 1: So for someone that is like very pragmatic with their charts,
- 30:39Speaker 1: someone that may look at their chart and say, Okay,
- 30:41Speaker 1: this is a tool for my refinement, for my mastery,
- 30:45Speaker 1: for my transcendence of karma. What is a way to
- 30:48Speaker 1: start working with some of the things that you may
- 30:50Speaker 1: be seen, especially if you do happen to look at
- 30:53Speaker 1: your chart and it feels a little doom and gloomy, um,
- 30:57Speaker 1: what are what are some ways to start utilizing it
- 31:01Speaker 1: more as a tool, well, utilizing it as a tool
- 31:05Speaker 1: where we guide them and tell them to see whether
- 31:08Speaker 1: it really feels as a harmic extension of who you
- 31:11Speaker 1: are and what you do. Does it really make you
- 31:13Speaker 1: feel good with this choice? So, giving back to the
- 31:17Speaker 1: same example, when I said that you're going to continue
- 31:19Speaker 1: to work with this client and continue to do against
- 31:23Speaker 1: your moral and ethic understanding, um for next three years,
- 31:28Speaker 1: how does it feel in your body? And she feels
- 31:31Speaker 1: that I feel my neck is tightening up, I feel
- 31:34Speaker 1: a little bit nauseous. I feel I can't deal with this,
- 31:37Speaker 1: and I feel really angry why I'm making this choice
- 31:40Speaker 1: and so it's your decision, your choice, your answer. We
- 31:44Speaker 1: are just giving you an experience of the choice that
- 31:46Speaker 1: you're making. So in every situation, which job to check
- 31:51Speaker 1: which I have seen many people who have put their
- 31:53Speaker 1: corporate job and starting something else which sounds very unconventional
- 32:01Speaker 1: or something that is stupid at that time, which looks
- 32:05Speaker 1: like but when it is in alignment in what their
- 32:09Speaker 1: charge is able to do, we can actually give them
- 32:11Speaker 1: the strength. I think it doesn't make a lot of
- 32:14Speaker 1: material sense to quit this job and what you're doing,
- 32:17Speaker 1: but I think you'll be more happier, more powerful, and
- 32:20Speaker 1: more relaxed. And I have numerous examples here in the
- 32:23Speaker 1: Bay Area who have quit their high profile jobs and
- 32:27Speaker 1: started something else, a startup that they believe is going
- 32:30Speaker 1: to make a difference in humanity, and five years later
- 32:34Speaker 1: they have made ten times more money than they would
- 32:37Speaker 1: have made in their conventional job, and more importantly, they
- 32:41Speaker 1: felt absolutely happy and passionate with what they have created.
- 32:45Speaker 1: M M. So I think I think the discussion is
- 32:51Speaker 1: helping people feel empowered. You don't make the decision because
- 32:55Speaker 1: they sometimes come to you, go you tell me not
- 32:57Speaker 1: to do as if I should do this or not,
- 32:59Speaker 1: I said, I'm not will tell you that that's not
- 33:01Speaker 1: the purposit is. You are the person who is going
- 33:04Speaker 1: to make that decision. I'm going to give you an
- 33:07Speaker 1: understanding about why you should think this way over that way,
- 33:11Speaker 1: and then it's your choice. It's your thinking because the
- 33:14Speaker 1: rumination of this is so important. Every session, you need
- 33:19Speaker 1: to go back, sit back, look at your notes, reflect,
- 33:23Speaker 1: and many times we recorded our session so you can
- 33:26Speaker 1: you can go back and listen to your recording one
- 33:28Speaker 1: more time so that it creates more and more refinement
- 33:32Speaker 1: about what it is and what we do is as
- 33:34Speaker 1: a trend is every here on your birthday, there's a
- 33:39Speaker 1: trend that you go and talk to your job issue
- 33:41Speaker 1: or your astrologer or counselor that what does this birthday
- 33:45Speaker 1: year going to look like for me? And you? You
- 33:49Speaker 1: get an understanding where the planets are in the sky,
- 33:52Speaker 1: and which area is going to be more affective to
- 33:54Speaker 1: see your versus last year, and where you should prioritize
- 33:57Speaker 1: where you should sink your energy into doing what even
- 34:01Speaker 1: understanding your own strength, that who you are and how
- 34:05Speaker 1: capable you are in doing certain things and aligning those things.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I think the purpose of Joe Fish is more preventing
- 34:16Speaker 1: the chaos that can happen. It's like when you look
- 34:19Speaker 1: at a weatherman telling you that there is about ninety
- 34:23Speaker 1: percent chance of brain and things. That's what the Joish
- 34:26Speaker 1: forecast would be. Okay, taking your umbrella with you so
- 34:30Speaker 1: that you're not soaked and wet yourself. You can protect
- 34:33Speaker 1: but it's still going to rend. You're not diffusing the
- 34:36Speaker 1: kern by telling them that this bad thing won't happen
- 34:39Speaker 1: to you. But even if it happens, you have the
- 34:42Speaker 1: tools in place. You have your umbrella on your head
- 34:46Speaker 1: so that you are not soaked at wet, you're able
- 34:49Speaker 1: to deal with it. And if you know beforehand that
- 34:52Speaker 1: I should be cautious, maybe I should not be going
- 34:55Speaker 1: for this surgery at this time. I should just great
- 34:57Speaker 1: and see how my body deals with this. And this
- 35:00Speaker 1: is not the best time for me to really embark
- 35:03Speaker 1: on this. Or I have a choice whether I should
- 35:05Speaker 1: go with conventional chemo and radiation or I should go
- 35:08Speaker 1: with just doing some alternate therapies for my cancer. And
- 35:13Speaker 1: what would I do and how would I do? Sometimes
- 35:15Speaker 1: it gives you a lot of powerful insight. The perfect
- 35:20Speaker 1: is to see and help and support people it's as
- 35:23Speaker 1: if that you're holding their hands and giving them strength
- 35:26Speaker 1: to make that choice. And once they feel comfortable with
- 35:30Speaker 1: their choice, and they feel as if you go and
- 35:33Speaker 1: talk to a stranger like me and suddenly you resonate
- 35:37Speaker 1: with what they're saying and what you're feeling, and it
- 35:40Speaker 1: feels as if you are making the right choice, as
- 35:43Speaker 1: if it feels that you are listening to something that
- 35:47Speaker 1: you kind of knew it all along in your and
- 35:51Speaker 1: it sounds right, it feels right, and when that synchrony happens,
- 35:56Speaker 1: you feel really confident in making that choice and making
- 35:59Speaker 1: that so amazing. I love, love love talking to you.
- 36:05Speaker 1: We did that for my birthday back in June. I.
- 36:09Speaker 1: You went through what my year would look like and
- 36:11Speaker 1: it was so it was really powerful and just um
- 36:16Speaker 1: absolutely fascinating. What is the role of really our medical
- 36:22Speaker 1: makeup in in our lifetimes and the way that we
- 36:25Speaker 1: choose to incarnate, you know, being able to look and say, well,
- 36:28Speaker 1: you may be, you may experience or you may be
- 36:32Speaker 1: more prone to this in this lifetime. What how does
- 36:35Speaker 1: that operate? Well, it means they're definitely means you would
- 36:41Speaker 1: be be blessed or ghost with some of the good
- 36:44Speaker 1: impactings that your parents have given you, the first cell
- 36:48Speaker 1: that they might have given you, which is your DNA
- 36:50Speaker 1: or your genetic impray that you might be a caffe time,
- 36:54Speaker 1: you're prone for gaining weight, your game, prone for having
- 36:57Speaker 1: certain diseases, and then in that case you create a
- 37:00Speaker 1: counterbalancing diet and lifestyle to keep it in balance. You
- 37:05Speaker 1: could be an angry, grumpy, irritable person eating hot and
- 37:08Speaker 1: spicy foods, drinking too much of caffeine and drinking too
- 37:12Speaker 1: much of alcohol, and then you giving them maybe a
- 37:17Speaker 1: green tea to drink and staying away from alcohol and
- 37:20Speaker 1: balancing their diet to to not being acidic and create
- 37:25Speaker 1: more alkaline diet. Then the person doesn't change, but what
- 37:29Speaker 1: the choices that they are making based upon what they're
- 37:32Speaker 1: prone for, has completely shifted in the diseases that they
- 37:36Speaker 1: will create and how they will feel in their body
- 37:38Speaker 1: and the mind, because the choices that you're suggesting them
- 37:42Speaker 1: is not only changing the nature of the diseases, but
- 37:46Speaker 1: changing what they can attract or fail to attract in
- 37:50Speaker 1: their life in general. If that person continues to eat
- 37:54Speaker 1: hot and spicy foods and getting drunk every night, then
- 37:59Speaker 1: his his intensity his passion, his drive, his ability to
- 38:04Speaker 1: make things happen, is completely sidelined, and he's hurting him
- 38:08Speaker 1: and making him more inflamed and is not able to
- 38:11Speaker 1: live up to his potential. That makes him feel more
- 38:14Speaker 1: depressed and angry all day long. But if you're making
- 38:18Speaker 1: those choices in your diet and lifestyle, then you are
- 38:22Speaker 1: re funneling this energy and you are more of a
- 38:25Speaker 1: subti with the person who is able to organize, do things,
- 38:30Speaker 1: empower yourself, assume the leadership role and go out and
- 38:34Speaker 1: do it more, much more confidently, and completely change themselves
- 38:38Speaker 1: and change the world if they can, they have the capacity.
- 38:41Speaker 1: So looking at that, because this conversation, and it's a
- 38:45Speaker 1: very wonderful question, Dab, because what we know is the
- 38:51Speaker 1: genetics is one part of it is is epigenetics. What
- 38:58Speaker 1: what does when you feel, what you hear, what you
- 39:01Speaker 1: ingest from every field of perception is who you become? Wow?
- 39:07Speaker 1: Wow wow Yeah, Dr Suhause, you and I are going
- 39:11Speaker 1: to be together again soon October twenty nine. You're going
- 39:16Speaker 1: to be here in the l A area. We are
- 39:18Speaker 1: having UM And for all those listening, you can still
- 39:20Speaker 1: get tickets. If you're hearing this still in the month
- 39:23Speaker 1: of September and in early October UM, we are going
- 39:27Speaker 1: to be having the Well Within Retreat, a three day
- 39:31Speaker 1: retreat experience with Chopra and it's happening at Terry On
- 39:34Speaker 1: a resort which is in Palace Verday, so just right
- 39:37Speaker 1: outside of l A. So many incredible speakers. We are
- 39:41Speaker 1: going to connect people to their docia type. So if
- 39:44Speaker 1: you have been hearing that phrase on this show and
- 39:46Speaker 1: you're not familiar your docia type, your dosia type. Dr Suhaus,
- 39:49Speaker 1: what is a docia type and then I'll send everyone
- 39:52Speaker 1: to the app to be able to check theirs. Well.
- 39:55Speaker 1: The great question because we talked about the five basic
- 39:59Speaker 1: element that the whole universe is made up of, which
- 40:01Speaker 1: is space, air, fire, water, and earth. And within those
- 40:06Speaker 1: five elements there are combinations of those elements that structured
- 40:11Speaker 1: your mind body type, and that structure of mind body
- 40:14Speaker 1: type created your parents who they are and who they were,
- 40:18Speaker 1: and they gave a combination of their first cell to
- 40:22Speaker 1: you in which it got frozen as your mind body
- 40:26Speaker 1: makeup or genetic pickup. So a combination of space and
- 40:33Speaker 1: air creates a vata personality, and Vata personality is a
- 40:38Speaker 1: little bit lean and thin and wiry and bubbly and energetic. Okay,
- 40:43Speaker 1: combination of fire and water creates something. What we call
- 40:46Speaker 1: it is a bit the personality and the combination of
- 40:49Speaker 1: fire and water to opposite forces coming together. Bit. The
- 40:53Speaker 1: people are a little bit flushed and medium built and
- 40:57Speaker 1: a little bit more red complexion than little bit intense
- 41:00Speaker 1: passionate um, more sharp sense of digestion, sharp tongue, very leadership,
- 41:10Speaker 1: organized qualities in their personalities, in their body and mind.
- 41:14Speaker 1: And the last combinations and the combination of water and
- 41:17Speaker 1: earth together, which is a cup of body type cuffs.
- 41:21Speaker 1: These are big, hefty, blessed with some good muscles, good bonds,
- 41:25Speaker 1: a little bit more chevier, heavier side, easy going, happy,
- 41:31Speaker 1: go lucky. People are happy most of the time, a
- 41:34Speaker 1: bit lazy and procrastinating, at a bit dull sometimes. So
- 41:38Speaker 1: this is who you are. Your mind, body type is
- 41:41Speaker 1: given to you by your parents. That's full step. And
- 41:44Speaker 1: the second the choices that you make in order to
- 41:47Speaker 1: either increase those to a degree of imbalance or keep
- 41:51Speaker 1: them im balance or create almost a degree of depletion
- 41:54Speaker 1: in some areas. So that is a science of lifestyle.
- 41:59Speaker 1: The word are your veda are you veda me? Are
- 42:02Speaker 1: you means life? And way? That means knowledge of science.
- 42:05Speaker 1: It's science to know about yourself. Are your way? There
- 42:10Speaker 1: is something that introduces you to yourself, to know who
- 42:16Speaker 1: you are, what fits you in your mind and body,
- 42:21Speaker 1: what you like, what you don't like, what sits happily
- 42:24Speaker 1: in your bedd what doesn't sit happen in your bend,
- 42:27Speaker 1: how your band movements are, how your sleep is. What
- 42:30Speaker 1: choices is, what movies you like, what books you like
- 42:33Speaker 1: to read, what company you like to keep, the choices
- 42:36Speaker 1: you make. Everything is having an impact on your doses.
- 42:41Speaker 1: The job that you do, the work you do, the
- 42:43Speaker 1: car you drive, every little thing has an impact on
- 42:48Speaker 1: your dose. It has a dose Hicks signature on everything
- 42:52Speaker 1: that you choose. And the more you study that you
- 42:54Speaker 1: will be amazed. And the simple rule that I with.
- 42:58Speaker 1: The rule is that if something that you're prone for,
- 43:01Speaker 1: how are you going to counterbalance that? And just the
- 43:04Speaker 1: science of quality and qualities. Understanding the quality and qualities
- 43:09Speaker 1: and certain I'm a little far kind of a person
- 43:13Speaker 1: having a tendency for weight gain, maybe pre diabetes things,
- 43:17Speaker 1: So how can I make certain dietary changes that will
- 43:21Speaker 1: balance that? It will not get rid of that strength
- 43:24Speaker 1: that you have, but it will counterbalance that in every
- 43:28Speaker 1: choice you make. And I think the more you find
- 43:32Speaker 1: your spiritual strength, the more you meditate, the more you
- 43:36Speaker 1: transcend is the first step where that information, that knowledge
- 43:40Speaker 1: will float to the top and that choices that you
- 43:44Speaker 1: will make will become effortless, not because I'm telling you
- 43:47Speaker 1: or someone else is telling you, because it's what you
- 43:50Speaker 1: think is right for you, that feels right when you
- 43:54Speaker 1: do it, and the choice that you make becomes a
- 43:57Speaker 1: habit that slowly gets ingrained in. This is how you think,
- 44:01Speaker 1: this is how you eat, this is how you live,
- 44:03Speaker 1: this is how you cultivate relationship. And as we start
- 44:06Speaker 1: changing your epigenetic environment, the genes start behaving themselves and
- 44:14Speaker 1: you truly manifest your fullest potential that way. And that's
- 44:19Speaker 1: why I love to work with Deeper because it's it's
- 44:22Speaker 1: the lifetime work that he has been doing in order
- 44:26Speaker 1: to bring this blend of East and West in the
- 44:29Speaker 1: perfect blend of East and West. It's totally rooted in
- 44:33Speaker 1: the understanding of Western sciences, basic sciences, but giving you
- 44:39Speaker 1: the tools, giving you the experience of what it can
- 44:42Speaker 1: do to you. And I think that's what we are
- 44:45Speaker 1: trying to launch in the next coming months. He has
- 44:49Speaker 1: been talking very passionately about the Longevity Experiment, about what
- 44:54Speaker 1: are the factors for longevity, and the longevity factors I
- 44:58Speaker 1: whether I've been talking about for ages together, physical health,
- 45:02Speaker 1: your emotional health, your spiritual health, fitness of every kind,
- 45:06Speaker 1: the resilience of every kind, the choices coming from tool, water, air,
- 45:13Speaker 1: your ability to refine the exchange of intelligence from Mother Nature,
- 45:21Speaker 1: and able to keep yourself occupied their active and be
- 45:25Speaker 1: engaged in purpose full activity is what is going to
- 45:29Speaker 1: make you live longer and happier. It was it was
- 45:35Speaker 1: really wonderful being able to sit with you in Deepark
- 45:38Speaker 1: this past week in Yosemite and feel that passion about
- 45:42Speaker 1: this new leg of research and application that you guys
- 45:44Speaker 1: are in this path is really I mean the I
- 45:48Speaker 1: don't know if you know this, Dr Suhas, but the
- 45:49Speaker 1: very first thing that even led me the meditation was
- 45:52Speaker 1: doing a Poncho karma at the Choper Center and it
- 45:56Speaker 1: was a ten day Pancha karma and I had never
- 45:59Speaker 1: I was not a supposed to that. Previously, I didn't
- 46:01Speaker 1: know of ayur Veda, and it changed absolutely everything about
- 46:06Speaker 1: my life, and I think for the first time it
- 46:08Speaker 1: really it allowed me to know myself, to feel myself,
- 46:14Speaker 1: to be myself, to understand what it even means to
- 46:17Speaker 1: be in alignment or to come into that kind of larger, holistic,
- 46:22Speaker 1: zoomed out view of being in harmony mind, body, and soul. Um.
- 46:27Speaker 1: So it just I'm so grateful for your work, and
- 46:30Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for all the ways that you share
- 46:34Speaker 1: these gifts you have three Um you listed the other
- 46:37Speaker 1: book that just came out. Another way that everyone can
- 46:40Speaker 1: connect with you is your book Change your Schedule, Change
- 46:43Speaker 1: your Life, The Hot Belly Diet and Pancha Karma, which
- 46:47Speaker 1: everyone can find everywhere books are sold, but definitely on Amazon.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Get that Amazon Prime, get it in a day. But
- 46:54Speaker 1: it's just it's I I just admire you so deeply,
- 46:58Speaker 1: Dr Suhas and I'm it's in such a pleasure speaking
- 47:01Speaker 1: to you. And every time I'm gifted either the chance
- 47:04Speaker 1: to just converse with you one on one or see
- 47:07Speaker 1: you on a stage, I'm just always blown away, um,
- 47:12Speaker 1: and I always walk away with deepened understanding of how
- 47:15Speaker 1: to be in this life. I'm glad you brought this
- 47:19Speaker 1: concept of punchama because We have a wonderful clinic here
- 47:22Speaker 1: in Santa Cruz, California, where people come from all over
- 47:25Speaker 1: the country, actually all over the world to receive and
- 47:29Speaker 1: Punchakarma is a series of detoxification treatment that we do
- 47:33Speaker 1: from an irobatic perspective. And when you're going through those five, seven,
- 47:39Speaker 1: fourteen days of detoxification treatment, you're getting rid of a
- 47:43Speaker 1: lot of physical impurities, a lot of metabolic impurities, a
- 47:46Speaker 1: lot of emotional impurities. And as the impurities are being
- 47:52Speaker 1: purged up from the carpet of your body, the seven
- 47:56Speaker 1: tissues as we call it, the layers within the skin.
- 47:59Speaker 1: As you're purging and releasing the impurities, you're allowing a
- 48:04Speaker 1: new flow of prana that is flowing through your system,
- 48:08Speaker 1: that flow of life force or energy of prana, which
- 48:11Speaker 1: is connecting all the dots, creating more of a flooding
- 48:17Speaker 1: of your chattery energy, creating almost a spiritual experience. I
- 48:22Speaker 1: don't really tell my patient that I'm going to punch
- 48:25Speaker 1: the come out of you in in some way which
- 48:29Speaker 1: is realigning. It's giving you a lot of time to think, ponder, reflect,
- 48:34Speaker 1: contemplate about who you are, who you have become, how
- 48:38Speaker 1: you're going to reshape and change a few choices that
- 48:41Speaker 1: you're making so that Punchika, my experience, sounds physical, but
- 48:46Speaker 1: has a lot of metaphysical correlates to it, so that
- 48:49Speaker 1: the body goes through that the mind and the spirit
- 48:52Speaker 1: becomes a little bit more aligned. And many people who
- 48:56Speaker 1: actually go through puncher Matter a clinic actually observer of
- 48:59Speaker 1: five or seven days of silence. And can you imagine
- 49:02Speaker 1: that you're able to do yoga, You're able to do meditation,
- 49:05Speaker 1: You're able to eat a very simple, easily home cooked,
- 49:09Speaker 1: plant based vegetarian diet and go through a series of
- 49:14Speaker 1: treatments for about three hours every day and observe a
- 49:18Speaker 1: degree of silence and do some self reflective journaling. It
- 49:22Speaker 1: really opens up floodgates. You've release a lot of exhaustion, tired,
- 49:28Speaker 1: achy feeling, and the building up of the those shells
- 49:32Speaker 1: that are about to create diseases, and you're nipping it
- 49:35Speaker 1: in the bud. You're draining it out. You're creating prevention
- 49:40Speaker 1: and the therapy at the same time. And we did
- 49:44Speaker 1: several research studies at the Chokra Center and around the country,
- 49:48Speaker 1: around around the globe itself that what it does to
- 49:52Speaker 1: consecure the inflammation markers go down, the cortasol gets regulated.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Many of these genes that were turned on to create
- 50:01Speaker 1: diseases were actually turned off. You're telling me, as get lended,
- 50:05Speaker 1: we reverse your aging process. So it has been around
- 50:09Speaker 1: for a millennium. This therapy is a modern day application
- 50:13Speaker 1: of kaya kalpa, which is transformation of your body and
- 50:17Speaker 1: mind completely so that you are much more aligned and
- 50:21Speaker 1: focus and concentrated to prioritize what is right for you,
- 50:25Speaker 1: and you're able to achieve more, to be more successful
- 50:29Speaker 1: and a little bit more emotionally happy and feel purposeful
- 50:35Speaker 1: and relax And I think it's uh. It's the labor
- 50:39Speaker 1: intensive treatment. It takes time for you to create certain
- 50:42Speaker 1: things to make that happen. But it starts with an intention.
- 50:46Speaker 1: If you have an intention that I would like to
- 50:48Speaker 1: take good care of myself, it starts with that that
- 50:52Speaker 1: I want to be healthy, I want to be happy,
- 50:54Speaker 1: and I'm willing to embark on something that is going
- 50:57Speaker 1: to take me. There. One to said that intention, and
- 51:01Speaker 1: you find the right kind of practicians and get it done.
- 51:04Speaker 1: I think you will see the benefits. Mm hmm, amazing.
- 51:08Speaker 1: So grateful for your time. Dr Suhas and everyone you can.
- 51:12Speaker 1: If you come to our Choper Retreat well Within, which
- 51:15Speaker 1: is October twenty nine through the thirty one, you'll actually
- 51:18Speaker 1: be able to get to see Dr Suhas in action
- 51:21Speaker 1: and meet him in person um and learn so much
- 51:24Speaker 1: about your veda and about dosia's which also if your
- 51:28Speaker 1: interest has been peaked hearing about the different dosia types
- 51:31Speaker 1: the vada Pita kafa, I personally am uh I am
- 51:36Speaker 1: a double dosha, so I'm a Pita cofa. You can
- 51:40Speaker 1: go on our app, which is the Choper App, and
- 51:43Speaker 1: you can take a docia test and get connected to
- 51:46Speaker 1: your dosha. And then I highly recommend, highly highly highly
- 51:49Speaker 1: recommend connecting with Dr Suhas's books and work so you
- 51:53Speaker 1: can deepen your understanding of how to use that information
- 51:57Speaker 1: and actually use it to transform your life. So grateful
- 52:00Speaker 1: for you, Dr Suhas, Thank you, Thank you, Davy all
- 52:04Speaker 1: the best, and I wish you that you touch many
- 52:07Speaker 1: more lives, millions and millions more people. Uh you can
- 52:11Speaker 1: spok their interest in these sciences of yoga with the
- 52:16Speaker 1: meditation and spirituality. Wishing you all the best. Must now
- 52:21Speaker 1: mus stay from your mouth to God's ears and so
- 52:24Speaker 1: it is such a juicy show. I could listen to
- 52:33Speaker 1: Dr Suhaus talk four hours and actually have before and
- 52:38Speaker 1: loved every every, every, every second of it. Yeah, that
- 52:44Speaker 1: was very, very rich in expanding that conversation. Again, just
