- Amanda: What is up, guys? Welcome back to another episode of Let's Talk Football Married Edition. It is Monday, September 21st. Week two is officially in the books. And well, we've got a shit ton to talk about. We came out swinging in week one, high point scoring week, to a 20% drop in scoring in week number two and a noticeable difference. there was some shitty ass weather too, which definitely impacted the potency of offense and also, you know, i different matchups, some better matchups in week number two as well, which definitely made an impact in some of our fantasy football scorers. So we're gonna talk and get into all the information you need. But before we do, I just everyone, if you're if you're watching, you can raise your hand with me, or if you're listening, but who beat your significant other in fantasy football this week? My hand's up if you're listening. Drew: Heh heh heh. Heh. Amanda: I kicked his freaking ass too. absolutely just demolished you this week in fantasy football. So I'm gonna ride that high horse for the foreseeable future. but nonetheless, let's kick this off with some wedding party reactions from the weekend. Drew: Let's let's let let's be a little nice here. I I did score a pretty good amount of points this week, or I'm going to, depending upon what happens tonight in Monday night football. You just had the most points of anyone. No, you had the most points in the league. So like Amanda: Sure, but it's not as many as me. Drew: your your team went off this week. But like Dak Prescott, Amanda: well. Drew: great week. Jameer Gibbs, great week. Swift had a good week. Parker Washington. Dalton fucking Schultz can suck a fat Amanda: I'm sorry, who did I play against though? Almond Raw. Yeah, baby. Drew: one. Amanda: Throw him in, baby. I was like, you know what? I thought about changing that so many times. I heard your voice in my head, like, Dalton Schultz sucks. He's never gonna do well. Nico was out. I was like, full send, full send on Dalton Schultz. He got so much short check down garbage shit, and I loved it. Drew: It it was almost entirely garbage because they were d Amanda: Did he even score? Drew: no th they were down by twenty or f you know, two or three scores at the end of the game. The last eight minutes was basically like prevent de you know, Cincinnati's playing pre-vent defense. All their DBs are back. Don't hit us with a big play. CJ Stroud drop back, throw the ball five yards downfield to Dalton Schultz, who turns around, gets tackled for a ten yard, and then the next play, the same thing happens. It's like it sucks for The guy I like, you know, for me because I'm watching it happen and like Cincinnati's not doing anything wrong, which they're giving that play to CJ Stroud because it's just gonna eat clock up. So like it it's smart football, but it it fucking sucks for me, knowing this is I'm getting garbage time so bad that I'm never gonna be able to come back in this matchup. And it just sucks. Amanda: Fourteen targets was insane. Fourteen targets, a hundred and forty yards, no touchdowns, and he still scored twenty six points. Thank you, Dalton Schultz. I love you. Thank you. Thank you. Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: no day lots of good performance on my end. And you know, your team just couldn't couldn't meet the gap. And you know, I get it. It's hard to do when you're competing against someone like me. Anyways, let's go into wedding party reactions from the weekend. I'll kick us off here. One of our wedding party members from the Patreon said Justin Herbert couldn't hit a boat if he fell out of the water. Ooh, it was bad. Drew: Yeah, he looked bad. He looked real bad. Alright, this one was funny. Saquon, more like Sequ. I thought that was hilarious. Amanda: J that is absolutely hilarious. This is a not negative one, but a positive one. JSN is a monster. He is out, out of the out of this world, out of control, out of control. Drew: Yeah, he he's an alien. on the Seattle Seahawks, the guy giving him the ball, it was Drew locked in on JSN, forty two percent target share to JSN is ridiculously high. And also, if you're a JSN manager, knowing that whether Darnold or Drew locks in the game, you're perfectly fine and you'll be have a top ten receiver is amazing. Amanda: my gosh, that's like once that happened, I was like, no, is Drew Locke gonna be able to hold it down? Cause that's scary. You know, we've seen what happened to London with a Cooper Rush not competent quarterback situation. And like, yeah, Drew Locke, I love a good lock, Drew Locked pun. So Drew Locke just he's locked in and he's good. He's good to go, baby. Locked and loaded, baby. Colston, no Loveland. He there is no love. There's no love for Mr. Colston himself. No, no. Drew: No love. No love. Mm-mm. I don't think that any of the fantasy community has love for him anymore after what he's done the first two weeks. My goodness. Amanda: Ooh, I I he drafted so high and did so much of nothing. Drew: All right. next one back on the positive note. Josh, I'll do it myself, Alan, because he's deciding to just hog all the fantasy points for himself. Hey, James Cook, you want a touchdown? Nope. I'll take it. DJ Moore, you want a touchdown? Nope. I'll take it. He was gracious. Dawson Knox, yep. He easily Amanda: he was gracious. He said one for you, one for you, one for you Drew: could have ran that one in. And instead he's like, Here, Dawson, make you some money. Here you go, buddy. Touchdown. I've had enough. Amanda: He gave one to Cook deep in the game. He's like, Here you go, buddy, I could run this one in too, but I'll give this one to you. Drew: Yeah, he could have every rushing touch. Amanda: I love it. All right. Rachel said at halftime of the 49ers game she was glad she played Mark Andrews until Drew: Over George Kittle. Amanda: over George Kittle, until five minutes into the second half, she said, no. Cause George Kittle immediately scored. Drew: Yep, he did immediately. He had a good game back in the scoring column. Like Keeles is looking great, so I'm pretty happy about that one. So those are our Amanda: Absolutely. Drew: wedding party reactions of the weekend. Amanda: And if you're not already an inside of the wedding party, which is our exclusive Patreon, you can do that and join in the show notes below. Obviously, we do some reactions from the weekend in there and have some fun, but we also do sit-starts and we do all of our exclusive waiver wire talks. So let's get into the episode for today. We're talking obviously top performers and disappointments on the weekend. We're gonna play another round of fact or fiction together. We're gonna talk about who we're serving up some divorce papers to and going over all of the big injury news, getting you prepped for waivers, everything you need to get set up, locked, and loaded for fantasy football week number three. But we're gonna kick it off with a little fact or fiction, shall we? Drew, you kick us off fact or fiction style. Drew: All right, Amanda, first question for fact or fiction is should I move on from Justin Herbert and stream the quarterback position instead? Fact or fiction? Amanda: Yeah, fact all day, baby. I think it is time. You have better options. There's been plenty of guys open on free agency that have been far more service serviceable than Justin Herbert. I mean, we can look at someone like Patty Mahomes, who had a great week this week. or even going deeper down the rabbit hole of Tyler Shuck, who again came out and said he can hold down against good teams and had a great dominant performance against the Baltimore Ravens. I think Justin Herbert. wouldn't need to get his shit far more together and he's not worth wasting your time on, you have better fantasy output available for you. Drew: Yeah, his schedule is just absolutely brutal coming up. There's Amanda: After this, yeah. Drew: there's a good chance the Chargers are and six. It I mean, their schedule Amanda: Bad. Drew: is disgusting. Amanda: Yeah. I joked with Drew after we saw like end of the Chargers game. We saw Justin Herbert sitting on the bench just looking absolutely distraught and then Mike McDaniels comes down and sat next to him. And I was like, What do you think that man is saying to him right now? Because Justin Herbert looked like, get the fuck away from me and I could only imagine the weird shit he was saying out loud. Drew: I mean, look at this schedule. Buffalo week three, Seattle, week four, Denver, week five, Kansas City, week six, bye week, Rams, week eight, Houston, week nine, Baltimore week ten, before they finally get a play the Jets in week eleven. I I this team's not a playoff Amanda: Bad. Dark and dismal days. Drew: team. This team's a top ten pick in the NFL draft team right now. Amanda: Yep. Yep. It's it's dark and dismal on the radar for the Chargers who couldn't get their shit together to for two wins they should have had, which is crazy. All right, fact or fiction, Drew. Let's talk. Trevion Henderson just took over as the lead back in New England. Is that fact or fiction? Drew: That is a fact. He now is the lead back in New England. he had finally, right? Well, Amanda: Finally. Drew: it's just until he fucks it up again and misses a blocking assignment or Vrabel just wakes up on the wrong side of the bed and decides no, we're gonna go with Ramondre today. But no, I I believe that he now is the lead back. This feels a lot like the Jameer Gibbs Montgomery. scenario that we had three years ago where rookie year Gibbs was seeing, you know, 30 to 40 percent of the work. Monty was still the lead guy. That was most of the rookie year. Year two came out and Gibbs started seeing more of the work. And then by the time the midway season or midway point of that season happened, Gibbs was clearly the lead guy. Look, it's still going to be a split backfield, just like it was with Gibbs and Monty for years, right? It's just going to be, in my opinion, more of a 60-40 split in Henderson's favor rather than in Stevenson's favor. And that that difference between the 40 and the 60, that 20% swing, that makes a big difference, right? So that's more early down work where Henderson has the ability to break long runs like he did this week on that long touchdown run. You gotta be on the field for that to happen. And that run specifically, that's a touchdown for Henderson that's n probably not a touchdown for Stevenson, because Stevenson's not going to be able to hit the gap the way that Henderson does and the way the play broke out. That last tackle that Henderson broke, Stevenson's probably not going to be far enough ahead. He's probably going to get tackled by that safety crashing down. So Henderson, 16 carries, 76 yards, touchdown, 60% snap share coming back from injury. Stevenson, half the amount of touches, less than half, seven, forty-six yards, and then he fumbled the ball again. That is a problem for Stevenson, which is also good for Henderson. Stevenson has fumbled the ball a lot in his career. Amanda: Time out. Yeah. A lot. Drew: Vrabel's not going to deal with that. So It could just be a reaction to Stevenson fumbling the ball and it being a close game and Vrabel's old school and wheel bench players and give them less time if they screw up. So it could be that, but you know, I think it's I think it's fact. I think Henderson is taken over as the lead back. So Amanda: I agree. The torch feels like it was passed. Drew: All right, so Miss Amanda, fact or fiction, number two for you. Is it time to look for option other than Kyle Pitts at tight end? Fact or fiction? Amanda: Can you say his official name? Because it's Kyle Pitti Pitts. Drew: Got Kyle stinky pity pits. Amanda: Kyle Stinky Pitti Pitts. Is that fact or fiction? I'm gonna go with absolute fact. Listen, I I would have said that after week number one. I he's someone who I wasn't wouldn't have touched with a 10-foot pole. Now, if you're that hard pressed, hard pressed, that's not the right terminology, but if you're that like into Kyle Pitts and you think that the quarterback change is going to impact him. When either Tuatungavalloa decides to come back or Penix decides to come back. If you truly believe that's going to give more value to Kyle Pitts, you can sit and wait on it. It's just not something I would be willing to sit and wait on. There's far more advantageous tight ends out there. Even if you want to go down the streaming rabbit hole week to week, it's just gonna give you far more upside that I think. Kyle Pitts just doesn't have the upside right now. He's he's barely scoring points. I wouldn't waste it with such a Shit offense right now. And it's just fell. I mean, Cooper Rush looks so bad they benched him. It's just bad right now there. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: He's just not someone I would waste my time on. You only get so many options here of weeks you can lose before you can't make it into the playoffs. You gotta start racking up some wins. If you have Kyle Pitts, what are the chances you won weeks one or weeks two? I mean, he didn't do anything for you. You've got better options out there. I would look for the better options at this point. What he had four Drew: Yeah. Amanda: targets, one reception, 15 yards, and that's through two games. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: Through two games, he had four targets total. And he's a Drew: Yeah, it's looked Amanda: short check down guy because he's at the ti he could no, no. Drew: Yeah, i it's it's not good, obviously. If I have Kyle Pitts and I have the ability to keep him on my roster and and roster two tight ends, I want one week of Tua or Penix. I want one. Like Cooper Rush is was is so inept. Like he should be cut and not picked up by another NFL team. Like his career should be over after what we just saw. It probably is, except for maybe practice Amanda: Too much empathy for that. Drew: squad, but it's it's it was bad. So I Amanda: It was bad. Drew: wanna see it. With an actual NFL quarterback for a week under Stefansky, who has produced good fantasy tight ends. I am absolutely not putting him in my lineup until I see it happen. My only worry is I drop him this week, Tua Urpenix plays, and he has 15 fantasy points because they've got a quarterback that can actually throw him the ball. And then Amanda: That's fair. Drew: all of a sudden he's on the waivers and everyone's gonna try to pick him up because they're gonna throw away the first two weeks because it was Cooper Rush. So if I have the ability to keep him on my roster, but not play him, if my only options Amanda: Hundred percent. Drew: are play him or drop him, I'm dropping him. But if I can keep him on my roster and I can see him with two or penix, if it's bad after one week of that, then then I'm dropping him. But I do Amanda: Yeah, I agree. Drew: want to see it. Amanda: Yeah, no, I agree. It's been such a clusterfuck and honestly, something you can't fully trust because of the quarterback issue, but still, you wanna you wanna make sure that it's real before you commit to anything here. All right, last one here. Fact or fiction, Drew, the Bears don't have a great weekly fantasy option at wide receiver or tight end. Drew: This is a fact with a little bit of fiction in there. So I in a bit, Amanda: Aw, you're splitting it, you cheater. Cheater. Drew: in a bit, right? So it's a fact. I they have a lot of options and it is clear that they are spreading the ball around, which a lot of great offenses do that, right? They they don't have, in my opinion, and apparently in Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams' opinions, they don't have a superstar on the outside. They've got really good players in Roma Dunze, and they like Luther Burden, and Colston Loveland is a good NFL tight end, but they're not demanding the targets. Any one of them is not demanding targets like a Jamar Chase, a JSN, a Puka. Like they don't have one of Amanda: JJ. Drew: those guys. They they don't have a superstar talent that is going to get 40%, 30% of the work no matter what. With that being said. That makes every week a scary start for all the players unless they go off, right? So like Roma Dunze and Luther Burden nine point seven and twelve points apiece through two games. That floor is a lot lower than what we thought it was gonna be. Loveland's just not been a part of the passing game at all. And Khalif Raymond coming out of nowhere with almost twenty points in two weeks, fourteen tar I mean, he's fourteen targets. Khalif Raymond's leading the team. Colston Loveland has five. Is that a matchup thing where the the two teams they played early in the year are just tough on tight ends and not on slot receivers? I don't know. But what what you got to look at is your expectation of boom and bust is more there than an every week starter. So you have to be okay with that. So like if you're projected to lose by 20 points and you need that boom player, okay, Adunza and Burden, throw them in your lineup. If if you're projected close and you can't afford to have a three point game, maybe you don't play one of their receivers because they have the ability to go for very, very little points. So we'll see what happens with a Caleb injury. But for now, it's a fact, especially with the Caleb Williams injury. But it's not that they don't have value and you definitely don't want to drop those players right now. Amanda: Yeah. And then you're just watching too. If someone does make their way into, they become a tom dominant target share and they do now like even we can talk about the Packers last year. That was like a roulette wide receiver. You never knew who was gonna have the game, who was gonna get the targets. There wasn't a clear dominant wide receiver one until Drew: Yeah. Amanda: we saw Christian Watson slowly make his way into that conversation where then we felt confident. And that wasn't till deep into the year, right when he got hurt. Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: so until that were to happen, yeah, you're you're left guessing and it feels Scary every single week, right? All right, moving on, we're gonna go into injury news and updates to get you all the inside information you need on week two, unfortunate injuries. Drew: It was a big week, guys. Yeah, it was a big injury week with a lot of big name players. So buckle up. Amanda: La Drew: big starting with the quarterback position, you got Jaden Daniels dislocated his his non throwing elbow again and it looked gross. So if Amanda: Yeah. Drew: you are a queasy person, do not go look it up. If you like looking at gruesome t type injuries, it's one that you'll probably want to go look at. but his elbow goes the wrong direction. So Pretty gross. same thing that happened last year, same elbow. I have no idea why in the world the dude is not pla forced to play with a brace on his left elbow. It's his non throwing arm. Like just make the dude wear a brace. But anyway, it was Amanda: Crazy. Drew: pretty gross. X rays showed no fracture, which is good. He's undergoing additional testing today, so keep an eye out. I expect him to be out for five or six weeks, kinda like he was last year. Maybe more, could be a little less, but it didn't look good. So Marcus Mariota will take over. Washington's offense does not look like it's that good. so you know, you're not picking up Mariota to play, but it is gonna have an impact on some of the other players. the running back position's kind of up in flux right now with Rashad White getting more carries than Krosky Merritt. Stephon Diggs it to me is still a weekly play with Mariota, and that's probably it from that team. Amanda: Yeah. Marcus Mariota, how do you feel about how he impacts wide receivers? I mean, when he went in eleven for sixteen, a hundred and eleven yards, one touchdown. Do you think that leaves all his wide receivers still relevant? Drew: Well, no, like I just said, I Stefan Diggs would be the one player that I would still play from the receiver position, but that's it. I I'm not I'm not playing Terry, I'm not playing any of the other receivers. The biggest thing is the less deep shots down the field, more short line of scrimmage type targets is what Mariota's gonna end up throwing. That's Stefan Diggs, right? So you're all a good slot receiver is is more likely to stay fantasy relevant. than a deep shot type player like Terry McLaurin when you have a backup in. So yeah, he's the only one that I would continue to play there. Caleb Williams pulled up, trying to run in the end zone, pulled up with a hamstring injury, left, got stretchered off. It did not look good or carted off, not stretchered. It did not look good. However, the most recent report that just came out 20 minutes ago was that he avoided a serious or major injury and He is considered, according to Ben Johnson as head coach, as week to week. So I don't think he's gonna play week three. I couldn't imagine. But Amanda: No. Mm mm. Drew: they have not put him on IR and it's not like a season ending thing yet. So just keep an eye on the injury reports to see what's going on there. Again, we just talked about Bears receivers being unpredictable. Now you're throwing Tyson Badgin in, who is a capable backup. However, if you weren't seeing good production from these guys, With Caleb Williams, I wouldn't expect you to see good production without Caleb Williams. So I'm w a lot lower on the Bears receiver this week. So once we get to our rankings episode on Thursday, we'll discuss a little bit of where they fall, you know, in regards to everybody else. But John Dre Swift, you're still playing him, obviously. Saquon Barkley, stinger. he went out in early in Sunday's game, he left. did come back after halftime, but he was on limited snap count after that. it's just something to monitor. Stingers can go away quickly or they can linger. It's honestly kind of random. So monitor that. If he's out, Tank Bigsby is a pick-up and play type player for Amanda: Mm. Drew: sure if he's available. little bit to note, Will Shipley did have 50% snapshare to Tank Bigsby's 35. So Will Shipley was playing more. However, Tank was Getting the touches. He had 15 touches to Shipley's nine. So Jadarian Price left Sunday's game with a chest injury, had 13 carries, 52 yards, did not return. I'm not sure if he would have returned if they needed him to or not. Amanda: If it wasn't a blowout, yeah. Drew: It was a blowout, so something to monitor. Emmanuel Wilson came in and played very well. So my guess is rookie Jadarian Price, they're going to be safe with him. But monitor that through the week. J.K. Dobbins, hamstring injury, left game, didn't come back. Jonah Coleman came in, played very well. We'll talk about him later. RJ Harvey, surprise hamstring inactive. Possible to return next week if both JK and Harvey are out. Jonah Coleman is absolutely going to be a pickup and play guy. Rico Dowdle left before half with a toe injury, came back in the second half, then left again with what is believed to be the same toe injury. So monitor that. Steelers offense and entire it just looks awful. So like I I don't Amanda: I don't wanna talk about it. I don't wanna talk about it. Don't make me relive the past. It's so bad. Drew: I don't want to play Steelers at all. However, if Dowdle's out and Warden gets all of the work, maybe he's actually worth a play. If you I just wouldn't watch the Steelers play if you play any of their players. Amanda: It's so dismal. It's so dismal. It's bad. Drew: Jonathan Brooks, groin, left game early, did not return. Week three, questionable. Dallas Goddard, knee injury, did not Amanda: Hm. Drew: return. Week three is up in the air. Keep your eye out on that one. Jaden Reed, a really Amanda: Scary. Drew: concerning and scary. he had a neck injury, got hit kind of sideways. honestly, didn't look that bad of a hit. It's just must have been how he was positioned when he got hit. he was strong. Amanda: Perfect angle. Drew: He was stretchered out on an im immobility board. So last update was that he had full function in his extremities. So that's good. However, Amanda: No. Drew: he's not gonna be playing, obviously, this week. Alec Pierce left last night's game with what looks like the same ankle or heel injury that he dealt with in the offseason. week three's up in the air. Definitely something to monitor. Interest Amanda: That's scary one. Drew: interested to see if he ends up getting put on the IR. Laquan Treadwell did come in, played the position that Alec plays and played pretty well. So gotta look out for. Nico decided to screw everybody with a hamstring injury last week and didn't play in week two. I am I'm considering him doubtful for week three. So just plan ahead. I don't think he's gonna be back to hamstring injury. Amanda: I feel like the boys need to be doing some hip thrusts. Like let's strengthen our glute ham tie-in. Like what's going with the hamstring shit? Like, some boys, a little hip thrust never hurt nobody. We like a n we like a good ass and that, you know, strengthens that whole posterior chain. Let's do more than squat, shall we? I don't know, maybe. Drew: Yeah, I I don't know. Zay Flowers, another hamstring, didn't play. Possible to return this week. He they do play in Brazil, the Ravens versus the Cowboys. So I don't know if that's gonna make an impact on whether he travels with the team or plays. I have no idea if sitting in a plane and flying that far would be very good for a hamstring that's recovering, so keep an eye on that. Mike Evans got injured. of course he did. And it's a hip. Amanda: Plant the plant took another victim, so Drew: Yeah, it's a hip it's a hip injury. Kyle Shannon Shanahan says it doesn't appear to be serious, so hopefully not. DJ Moore did get hurt, not a collarbone. It is an AC joint. The chance that he is only out for a week. So keep an eye out on that one. And Puka is questionable probably doubtful for tonight's game. Monday night football. Rams versus Giants. He's n not practiced all week. the last report I read was that he is it's trending in the wrong direction. Amanda: Yikes. Hopefully you had a backup plan for Monday night football. That's the worst, is when the player goes so late, you either had to pick up who was it on the Giants, the wide receiver on the Giants. Drew: Malachi Fields. Amanda: Malachi Fields. I wanted to say Makai Lemons, and I knew that was wrong. Malachi Fields, and if it was then throw him in and pray, but Drew: Right. Amanda: or sit Puka early, which seems asinine with Puka. It's Puka. Drew: Yeah, my advice yeah, my advice with any players of that caliber, Puka, Chase, Almondra, like any of the top guys, you always wanna wait as long as you can. Just what's the last report before the one o'clock Sunday slate? In this case, it came out right before the one o'clock games that Puka, who wasn't playing until Monday night, was trending down and was gonna be doubtful to play on Monday night. If it's doubtful, I'm gonna make the move if there's somebody better in the early s in the early games. rather than wait and play, you know, a Malachi Fields type player on Monday night as a pivot. If it's just questionable, I'm waiting as long as I can, for sure. Amanda: Absolutely. All right. Let's move into our top performers of the week. Guys, we are happy about and thrilled with their performance. We're gonna start with the quarterbacks. These are all quarterbacks who score 20 or greater points on the week. And we are starting with the man, the myth, the legend himself, Josh Allen, who comes in at the top of this list. Just absolute, absolute beast. Love to watch it. Drew: Just so good. He is so good. Amanda: new stadium. It just it was great. All of that was just like a night. And that game was also epic and exactly what we wanted, right? Drew: That was a good game. Yeah. That was a really good game. Mm-hmm. Amanda: Absolutely. All right. Jared Goff having a fantastic week. Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes, Brock Purdy, Bryce Young hasn't catfished us just yet. He had another duplicate of a good week. Tyler Shuck proving us he can handle business against difficult teams. Drew Locke, I love it. Kirk Cousins and awkwardly enough, Cam Ward. But that's just because he used his legs. Yes. I Drew: Camor's snuck in with two rushing touchdowns. Yeah, I'm not Amanda: looked at his like project. I was like, I was we were talking show notes before. And I'm looking at I'm like, Well who scored touchdowns here for the Titans? I'm looking through wide receivers and I'm like, No t it was just K Ward. So can Drew: Yeah. Amanda: K Mord actually pass the ball? That's still up for debate, friends. Drew: Yeah, look, it I don't care about Cam Ward being in this. That doesn't matter to me. I don't care about Kirk Cousins being in this. Kirk always has a game or two a year that's Amanda: Yes. Drew: good. He's just it's not a weekly guy. Drew Locke won't be the starter much longer. Look, Tyler Shuck is Amanda: And up. Drew: Tyler Shuck should be rostered everywhere. Amanda: Yes, yes. Drew: I don't know if he's a weekly play yet, but he absolutely should be rostered everywhere. Bryce Young should be rostered everywhere at this point. Again, I don't think he's a weekly start yet, but he's absolutely should be rostered. Purdy is damn near a weekly start. I don't know why people disrespect him. we were really high on him this week. and then, you know, you got some typical guys here. Look, Patrick Mahomes might just be back. So he might be a weekly, just rely on it. Amanda: Yeah. Mm-hmm. I think it's it's clear to say like he is b you didn't see the beginning of the Monday n or Sunday night game, did you? With Nikki Glazer. It was actually Drew: Mm mm. No. Mm mm. Amanda: like fantastic fucking marketing. So she like talked about it about like underdog well, you know, your favorite team, they they're so good you hate them, and now they get to come Drew: Yeah. Amanda: back and, you know, kind of make their underdog appearance and she's a huge Swifty. So they tied that really well into all of it. It was it was Drew: Mm. Of course they did. Amanda: chef's honestly it was Chef's kiss for them to market to not only football fans, but also, you know, people who aren't football fans who are watching for that reason. I was like, Drew: Right. Amanda: I got it got done and I was like, someone had their fucking hat, cooking hat on to to muster up that marketing. It was great. All right, let's move on to our top performers in the running back position. Really just the normal guys we would expect to see here. We have Jonathan Taylor. We have the Kenneth Walker. I feel like he needs the like the Ohio State in the Kenneth Walker. Christian McCaffrey. Drew: He should. I love him so much. And also two weeks in a row victory lap. And you know who's Amanda: Amazing. Drew: conspicuously not on this list? Who who did you really like at the beginning of the year? I think his was it was it A Chan? Devon Devon A Chan? Yeah, hmm. I'm gonna victory lap that all year long, baby. Amanda: I don't wanna talk about it. Give him just give him a minute. I you know what? You gotta just vote for the dude. I think his name's Hhawnee. A chain. I called him a chain for a long time, but yeah, Devonny Ch it's fine. It's fine. It's fine. All right, we got CMC, James Cook, Jameer Gibbs, Omari and Hampton, which ended in a fumble, but the stupid fumble. I when it happened, I was like, no, you just worry about like yeah. Drew: Good bounce back outside of the s fucking fumble. I just just hold on to the ball two weeks in a row. It's it we're getting close here to him losing some yeah, mm-hmm. Amanda: A little timeout situation. Yeah. Yeah. And then Mr. Derrick Henry himself having a nice start to the year so far as well. So those are our running back, top running backs of the week. That was Drew: Yeah. Amanda: fifteen points or higher. I I didn't mention that. Drew: Yeah, they're I normal people. The only thing on here you want to pay attention to is Omar and Hampton. Just check out his snapshare or a t or touches next week. If it goes down Amanda: Keep your eye on it. Drew: because he's been fumbling the football, you you you gotta start to worry. I'm getting this is gross, but I'm starting to get feelings of Antonio Gibson flashbacks. And remember how much I loved Antonio Gibson when he was drafted Amanda: Yeah, vividly. Drew: by the commanders, and I think at that time it was the Washington football team. Loved him. Amanda: And he couldn't hold on to the football. Drew: And he was really good outside of the fact that he just couldn't hold on to the football and it derailed his entire career. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: I just have these weird feelings that that's just deja vu and it's happening again to another player that I really like. So Amanda: Tinglies. Drew: just check in on that and and you know, we'll we'll check in next week, but hopefully it doesn't impact his touches and carries. Amanda: Yeah. All right, our top wide receiver performers of the week, again, fifteen points or higher. Most of these guys blew that out of the water, but we have Mr. JSN, which we've already said it, but like anyone could be back in that quarterback position and JSN says, Hold my beer, I got this shit on lock. We've got CeeDee Lamb, Amon Ross St. Brown, Jamar Chase, Devontae Smith. Good to see him have a nice solid week here as well. We've got Stephon Diggs, Chris Olave, The Jalen Waddle, again, we saw him finally last week was scary. Everyone was like, god, I put him in my lineup, I've got him rostered somewhere. And I was like, you know what, fuck it. I'm confident that they'll get this shit figured out. They'll target the shit out of Jalen Waddle, and sure enough, Drew: Ten targets is great. Yep. Amanda: sure enough, they did just that and no touchdowns, and he still had 17.8 points, which I love seeing like a high scoring week on a no-touchdown week, because you're like, the possibilities are endless at this point. And then there were some Oddly suspicious names that made this list. We saw Mr. Trey Tucker and Cody White make our top performers of the week. So Trey Tucker and Cody White both play for the Raiders. And I get the Raiders and Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: Saints mixed up endlessly in my brain. I don't cannot explain why. this was an interesting thing to see. Obviously, we saw Trey Tucker with seven targets, five receptions, 119 yards, and one touchdown. Cody White, two for two, two targets, two receptions, 24 yards, and two tutties. Give me your wide receiver thoughts from from the Raiders here so far. Drew: Yeah, I don't care about Cody White. Two touchdowns on two targets is a fluke. Yeah, we were watching the game live Amanda: No. We literally collectively said who? Drew: and he scored a touchdown and we looked at each other and it w audibly both said who at the exact same time. Never heard of the guy. I I don't I don't care about I mean, let me check real here, real quick here. Cody White had eleven percent snap share. Scored two touchdowns. Yeah. Amanda: What do we think about that, friends? You've listened to us long enough. We are not happy with eleven percent. He just happened to be the two touchdown scorer. Great week. Drew: No, do not chase the random fantasy points that this guy had. he's also he's been in the league for a couple years. he's been in the league since 2020, believe Amanda: wow. Drew: it or not. He played for Pittsburgh for two years. Played for Seattle Amanda: You know what? Good for him though. I'd love to see Drew: for three years. he's he's a practice squad and bench guy. So like d Amanda: Okay. Okay. Drew: don't worry about that. Trey Tucker, you he needs to be rostered. I am starting Amanda: Interesting. Drew: to get interested in him. He did not have a great week one. Four point seven. that's actually PPR points. four point seven. Sorry, let me scroll down here. Amanda: And it's half PPR. Drew: Yeah, here we go. Three point seven half PPR in week one. So not great, but he had four targets. seventy s one percent snapshare week one. Snapchare actually went down to sixty percent this week. it's a guy Darnell Mooney had good weeks with Atlanta last year when Kirk Cousins was the quarterback. So like it can happen. However, you can also get three or four points. So like if you've played fantasy long enough, these guys Kirk Cousins, like it'll happen with some of these guys, but you have to be okay with a three-point game or a twenty-point game, because that can happen. It's not like Trey Tucker's JSN. You're not getting twenty points Amanda: You also have to assume that no. Drew: a game. Amanda: You also have to assume that the minute Brock Bowers comes back, this conversation does change slightly too. Drew: Yeah, it should. Yeah, Brock Bowers should get more targets, but I don't know. I I'm he should be rostered. I don't know that I'm starting him every week, but he should be rostered. Amanda: All right, some other curve balls we had. Rashad Bateman, which isn't really a curveball. We expected somebody to get more targets share with Zay Flowers being out. Honestly, I I like the Rashad Bateman play. It's always unknown, you know, he's been rostered for s or he's been on a team for so long. Can he actually show up? He did. nine targets, seven receptions. Go ahead. Mm-hmm. Drew: Bateman this week. Yeah, Bateman, they play the Cowboys this week. So if Flowers is out, I'm I'm willing to play Bateman this week. If Flowers Amanda: yeah. Drew: is back, I do not play Rashad Bateman. He's gonna go Amanda: Negative ghostwriter. Drew: back. It's just you can't trust him. If Flowers is out, I I would play him. Don't play him if Flowers is back. Last guy here, my boy, Denzel Amanda: All right, how about Denzel Boston? Drew: Boston from your Cleveland Browns. my my Cleveland Browns. yeah, I'm interested now. He needs to be picked up. He needs to be rostered. And we're getting close to throwing him in every week. seven targets, five receptions, Amanda: You know what I wanted to look at and I didn't have time. Drew: 95 yards, a touchdown. He looks really good. He catch he's catch he's I saw three of those were contested catches that were really nice separation catches. I I'm I'm interested. He's got high draft capital too, so they're gonna Amanda: Yeah. Drew: keep throwing him the ball. Somehow Amanda: What did things look like last year with fucking Jerry Judy? Drew: J I d I don't care about Jerry Judy. Amanda: All right. I don't I just feels like that was something that you're like, you can start Jerry Judy and then it was absolutely irrelevant. No, no, no, not this week. I meant last year. Last year. Drew: Amanda, Jerry Judy had one target. It's a completely different team, different it's a different coach, a different scheme. It's not even the same Amanda: Same team, different coach. Okay. Drew: It's not the same team. Three fifths of their offensive line is different. Their entire receiving room is different. Like it's not the same team. Jerry Jude, yeah, Denzel Boston is going to see targets. It's also a completely different system and scheme. So I it's the fact that Denzel Boston had seven targets this week. KC Conception had six. They're not playing bonded Judy, which they shouldn't because I the the contract Judy Amanda: No. Jerry Judy sucks. Drew: was stupid a couple years ago because he sucks. Yes. but no, I'm interested Amanda: All right. Drew: in him. So let's get on to tight ends. Amanda: Top tight ends. This is 10 plus points from the tight end position. We have Travis Kelsey. Dalton Schultz, we've already talked about. Dalton Kincaid looking great. Jake Ferguson. Drew was not feeling Jake Ferguson. But Jake Ferguson came out swinging. Darren Waller, that's one to watch. George Kittle, Sam Laporta, Trey McBride, Tyler Warren, and Nate Atkins. Drew: Some dude named Nate Atkins. Just some guy. Congratulations. Good for you, buddy. Amanda: Some dude, Nate, good job, love it. Drew: Yep, that's fantastic for you. However, I don't care for fantasy. It's like Cody White. Don't worry about it. He scored a touchdown. It just happened, right? but Amanda: No. I'm definitely got my eyes on one guy. How about you? Drew: Darren Waller. Yeah, Darren Waller needs to be picked up if he's not already. Amanda: Yes, yes. Mm-hmm. Drew: He needs to be on rosters. again, three targets. That's all he had, but he had three catches and two touchdowns. The difference between a guy like Darren Waller and a guy like Cody White, where we say, but you said he had two targets and two touchdowns, you don't care. Darren Waller had three targets and two touchdowns. He also had a touchdown last week, and Darren Waller has been a Pro Bowl tight end before, and everywhere he's ever been is a red zone threat. Darren Waller catches touchdowns. He's very good in the red zone. He also is coming off of another injury in the preseason. He wasn't on a roster until like halfway through the preseason. So he's just building up into game time. He's also not a great blocker, so they're not going to have him in there to block. So his snap share is never gonna be super high. But he is absolutely always involved. and I think it's just gonna get more involved as the season goes. So he should be rostered and is a good streaming tight end on certain weeks. Amanda: agreed. I also think Dalton Schultz is a name to keep on your list specifically while Nico's out. We did see the Houston Texans struggle Drew: Screw him. Amanda: to actually score touchdowns, but Dalton Schultz was valuable regardless. So well, whatever. Drew: Screw Dalton Schultz. Nope. Screw him. It's disgusting. Travis Kelsey turning back the clock for a game. That's pretty look, eleven targets is a lot. Amanda: A lot. Drew: he let me look. I think he had a pretty decent last week as well. Amanda: He did. I mean not anything abysmal. Drew: Five targets. No, he had scored ten points. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: but five targets last week, eleven this week. Look, he's still involved. Rasheed Rice, not as involved as Amanda: that's a little scary. Drew: we thought he was gonna be. But all right. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Let's get into the disappointments of the week. So as a reminder, these are guys that scored five or more points below their projection. So it's a pretty big list this week, which as we said earlier, it's a low scoring week. Amanda: Yeah, it was a tough matchup for a lot of these guys. Drew: really bad really matchups and weather was pretty bad in a lot of places. So like naturally the scoring's gonna be lower. So at the quarterback position, Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert, Drake May, Lamar Jackson, Aaron Rodgers, Jaden Daniels, Jacoby Brissett, Joe Burrow, poor Cooper Rush, Jaden Jalen Hurts, and Jordan Love all had pretty down weeks this week. anybody on that list that That you're just throwing away doesn't matter. Amanda: I don't think Trevor Lawrence is anything I'm worried about by any means. I if I throw that week away. Hard defense, not worried about him. Drew: Okay. It's weird that that's the first name you brought up. So like Lamar Jackson, fifteen point eight points. He also Amanda: I don't worry about Lamar Jackson either. That's a no brainer. Drew: threw interception right at the end of the game. I don't worry about Lamar. Amanda: It was garbage time. Yeah. No. Drew: J Jaden and Caleb are are hurt, so I care about the Amanda: Yeah. Drew: injury, but I don't care about the point total because they were both playing well before they got well, Caleb wasn't playing great before he but he was about to score a touchdown and it was pouring down rain that entire game. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Joe Burrow, I don't care about that. Jalen Hurts Amanda: Yeah. Drew: eighteen points is fine. He just was projected really high. Amanda: Not bad, no. Drew: Jordan Love a little low. Jordan Love's not a weekly guy anyway. I look, I'm Amanda: No, it just Drew: not not worried about Trevor Lawrence and seven points. Did you think his Amanda: I'm not worried at all. Drew: floor was seven points? Amanda: No, honestly I did not. However, I I I'm not I'm not worried about it. Most of the touchdowns in that game ended up coming in rushing touchdowns. He didn't get a chance to actually throw the ball into the end zone. His receivers were still very utilized and used in in the offense. I'm not worried about it. Drew: So my question here though is you say Trevor Lawrence, like in your head he's a weekly start. You just start him every week, you fire him up. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Drew: He scored seven point two points, which like other weekly starts, Joe Burrow, a little down this week, scored sixteen. Jalen Hurts scored eighteen. Even Jordan Love scored thirteen and he's not a weekly guy. Why is Trevor Lawrence a weekly start at seven point two points if that's his floor? That's pretty low. Amanda: Yeah, I sh I just trust the offense. I don't think that's his floor though. I think that was just a fluke in week two. I think they Drew: Well, that's gotta be a floor because he he hit that, which means the floor is seven point two points or lower. I mean it is Trevor Lawrence. He could score negative points like he did last year. All Amanda: Yeah, I don't I'm not worried about it. Drew: right. I disagree there. I think I would I'm i he is not a weekly start to me. I think it's more of a matchup dependent start. all right. anybody else here? Probably not. Nope. running backs, running backs below projection. We've got Saquon Barkley, got injured, not worried about that. David Montgomery, three point four points, only six carries. That's pretty low. You worried? Amanda: Yeah. Not After the first week, I want to say no. It the offense just had trouble like moving and progressing the football at all. It just Drew: That's the worry for me though, is that the Houston offense is bad. And if you're if you don't score points, Monty's not gonna score fantasy points. Amanda: I know. And the defense is so good. I know, I know. I mean, yeah, my my spidey senses are up slightly. Drew: 53% snap share to Woody Marks forty-eight percent. Woody had eight carries and six targets to Monty's six carries and two targets. So Woody Marks was the guy to ha I mean he didn't produce that much anyway, but Amanda: No. Drew: I am worried about Monty and that entire offense. Ramondre Stevenson. Yeah, Ramondre Amanda: It's more like yeah. Yeah, well that worry, yeah. Drew: Ramondre Stevenson Pretty much the same. I think both Montgomery and Stevenson are worrisome to me. I think Henderson, we already discussed that. He's the main guy. I don't think Steve I don't look Stevenson had a bad week. I don't think three point one is the norm. I think he'll be in a high single digits as his norm. His ceiling's just not what it was. Javante Williams, they just didn't really run the ball that well, but I'm not worried about it. Bajan Little Light, obviously don't care about that. Kalon Black, only seven attempts this week. He was exactly what we told you guys he was. He is not he is not a weekly guy. I Amanda: The back up to CMC No. Drew: d I told you guys last week, don't burn a bunch of fab or waiver priority on Kaelin Black unless you're the CMC manager. Yes, he's just a handcuff. Amanda: Unless you are the CMC manager, yes. He just he's just a backup. And like he's a good backup. He's a relevant backup. And like he can Drew: Yes. Amanda: take the load over from CMC if CMC's not feeling good or they want to rest him because they're up by a lot. They're going to use Kalen Black more, but like Drew: Absolutely. Amanda: he's not relevant in that regard. Jonathan Brooks, obviously. Drew: Charlotte Brooks got hurt. Chris Rodriguez, you can drop him at this point. Amanda: Yeah. The usage is not there. Drew: Nope. Ashton Genty, fine. They just didn't need him that much. Yeah, and he dropped the football. That was frustrating. Jerry and Price got hurt, not worried about Amanda: Whew. A few big drops too. Mm-hmm. Yep. Drew: it. J.K. Dobbins again, injury, and I'm not worried about the performance. Mike Washington, you can drop him, in my opinion. We'll talk about that a little bit more later. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Gainwell He's a backup. I think you can let him go. Jeremiah Love. I'm I'm starting to c get concerned about his usage. They just don't wanna give him the ball like they should. Hopefully it picks up as as his year moves on. Amanda: He's not an auto start anymore. To me, it's there's lots of questions there. Drew: Yeah, same Jakori Krosky Merritt. He's split work with R Rashad White. That's really worrisome for me. Amanda: I think you're gonna have a hard time. It's like what was it in the Cardinals last year? It was hard to know who was gonna have a good week in a running back position. You were just guessing. I it's it's giving me those same vibes. Yeah. that's so many injuries. Drew: Well, it's tough to know who was gonna play for the Cardinals last year. They had so many injuries. Amanda: But no, this year it's kinda like it is Rashad it's gonna Rashad White's game. It's gonna be who who has more per you know, production early. They're gonna go with him like Rashad White did well. It's hard to get rid of either of them because you're like, Well, I might need him one week, who knows? Drew: Yeah. The this entire bottom here, 'cause Travis Achan Jr. from the Saints is also down here and Kamara got way more work than he should have. I am worried about all of these guys. A Chan Jr., Gainwell, Love, Krosky Merritt, and Tyler Edgier. all of them are no longer weekly starts. Some of them can be dropped and it's really matchup dependent on whether I'm gonna play them. Like I don't think Travis A Chan Jr. is a weekly start anymore because Camara showed that he got too much work. And six point one points just isn't gonna get it done. So all right, moving on to the wide receiver position. kind of go through this list. DJ Moore got hurt. JJ will be fine. let's see, Debo Samuel, Caleb Douglas, Demario Douglas, Jordan Addison, Terry McLaurin, Roma Dunze, Jalen Naylor, Pat Bryant, Drake London, Jacoby Myers, Mike Evans, Makai Lemon, Cortland Sutton, DK Metcalf. Wandale Robinson, George Pickens, Michael Wilson, Luther Purden, Jaden Reed, Quentin Johnston, Marvin Harrison Junior. That is a lot of big names that came up short this week. Amanda: Bad week. Drew: Who are we I mean, let's take Justin Jefferson. I don't think either of us are worried about him. George Pickens, Amanda: Zero percent. Drew: I don't think either of us are worried about him. Amanda: No. And did he miss another catch though this week? Drew: That might I didn't see. That might be the end of the people I'm not worried about. Amanda: I think you dropped another pass, but I'm still not worried about it. Drew: Yeah. I mean look Amanda: how about you know what, the the only person I'll put on a third I Debo, I mean, who else is really healthy there anymore? Drew: I'm not worried about Debo because I don't think Debo's a weekly guy anyway. He's a spots he's a spot start. He Amanda: No, he's a str he's a matchup dependent spot start, but Drew: scored five points. Look, I don't think you were expecting that much from him. Caleb Douglas got hurt. I he's looked really good, but he got hurt. Pop Amanda: Yep. Drew: Douglas is just a fill in guy that you probably didn't play anyway. Here are the names right here. Jordan Addison, is he playable until No. Amanda: No. No. Drew: Terry McLaurin, I don't think you can play him anymore until we find out what happens to Daniels. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Rome, we talked about him. Jalen Naylor doesn't matter. Pat Amanda: No. Drew: Bryant doesn't matter. Drake London. I don't know how you s I don't know how you sit him though. I think you just play him. Amanda: Until the quarterback changes. You just do it. If if if it's not n if it's not Tua or Penix, I'm not playing Drake London. Drew: Sure. But if one of those two guys is back, then I'm playing him for sure. Mike Amanda: then yeah, you gotta take a shot on him, yeah. Drew: Evans got hurt, he's fine. All right. We're going to talk about some more of these guys here come in our in our divorce segment, but Amanda: Yeah. Drew: definitely some guys we're worried about. And then to wrap up the disappointments of the week, tight end position. Colston Loveland again. Dallas Goddard got hurt. Tuckercraft, Kyle Pitts, and I had to throw Mike Kisicki in there because I thought that he was a good play this week. And he had zero targets and Don't worry everybody, I did start him over Travis Kelsey, so I'm I I already felt the pain, so you don't have to get mad at me. I stuck I stuck to my word. Amanda: It's funny because like you make the gr best decisions, like quarterback decisions, like you've been iconic and deciding like who to play. The one bugaboo, even from like last year, has been the tight end position. Like, remember when you played likely? Zero points last year. I Drew: I don't want to talk about it. Amanda: know. It's like that one like when it happened with Micaseki, I was like, it's like the one position that I feel like you overthink and then boom. Drew: No, it's sh it's not even the position. It's just what I end up deciding for my teams. If I don't decide it for my teams, it works. Cause like last year I told you, Amanda: For you yet. Yeah. Yes. Drew: play Jake Tong's like four times and every time he scored touchdowns. There if if I if it's just a tight end. If I play the Amanda: If Drew plays the player, don't bless tight end. Just tight end. Drew: tight end, don't play them. But if I tell you it's a really good start and I don't have them on my teams, it's a great play. Amanda: Full sand, baby. Drew: Gasicki, look, doesn't matter. He shouldn't just drop him if he's on your roster. Kyle Pitts, we talked about Tucker Kraft. I'm not worried yet. He's still coming back from injury. What about you? Amanda: me either. That just hurt. It just physically hurt. Emotionally hurt. Yes. Drew: Yeah. He's too good to drop. Colston Loveland. We discussed a little bit about the Browns situation. Are you dropping Loveland or are you just trying to pick somebody else up? Agreed. Amanda: I'm just trying to pick somebody else up. I'm gonna hold out. Drew: Agreed. All right. That is your disappointments of the week. And a lot of those players are going to come up in our next segment. We're going to try something new this week for our divorce papers. We are going to do rapid fire divorce papers. So basically is. Can you drop these players from your roster if you need to? So we're gonna name a name, and then both of us are gonna answer yes or no. If the if we're both the same, then we're gonna move on to the next name. If we are different, we're gonna discuss that name. So would you divorce? And again, this is if you have to drop them. Some of these names, don't drop them. Try to put them on your bench. And or trade them, but like some of these names, the bigger names aren't guys that you're really looking to drop. But if you absolutely had to because of injuries, then we're okay with it. So first one is Justin Herbert. Yes. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Yep. We think you can move on from him if you need to. Next name, Drake May. Yes. Amanda: No. Drew: Ooh, why not? Amanda: I listen, I don't drop him though. Like, do I want to divorce him? Yes. Am I gonna sit him on my bench and make him think about his decisions? Also, yes, I'll stream someone. I will hold on to him if I can, just for the potential upside that Drake may offers. His legs being the biggest one too. Drew: Alright, very good. Jonathan Brooks. Yes. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Mike Washington Jr. Yes. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Kenny Gainwell. Yes. Amanda: Yes. Drew: George Halani. Yes. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Tyler Algier. No. Amanda: No. Drew: Glad we both did know there. Well, we are really agreeing a lot today. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Marvin Harrison Jr. Yes. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Yes, y huge n it's the first really Amanda: Yes. Yes. Drew: big name, drop his ass. I don't care. Get rid of him. Amanda: If if anyone else like this is like the most niche crossover ever, but if you watch fantasy football, play fantasy football and you watch Dancing with the Stars, Marvin Harrison belongs on the d the DTM list for sure, and you'll only get that if you watch Dancing with the Stars. But he is dead to me, he's dead to everyone, he is not good. Drew: Yeah, I just he's not getting targeted either, so what's the point in holding on to a guy that's not even getting targeted? So Yep. Amanda: Literally one target. At least Michael Wilson had a bad week and got targeted. Fuck it. Drew: Forget forget the name value. Just treat him like that's not his name. You should drop him. So all right, next guy, Quentin Johnston. No. Yep. I I don't Yeah, I don't Amanda: Yes. he did get targets, but I don't yeah, I don't fuck with that. Drew: I don't think I could do it yet. I wanna see a little bit more. I I'm not gonna play him, but I I think I want to hold on to him for a little bit longer. all right, Jaden Reed. Yes. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Yeah, the injury scares me and he is the third fiddle anyway. Jameson Williams. No. Amanda: No. Drew: Wandale Robinson. Yes. Amanda: The Yes. Drew: Yes, you can drop him. All right, your boy DK Metcalf. Amanda: No. And like it's Drew: No. You can't yet. He g he's getting targeted too much. Amanda: just so like it it doesn't feel good. Like you don't want to play him. He's looked so Drew: He's looked bad. Yeah. Amanda: bad. He can't, it just I mean, it's not even just him. Like, he's also like, first of all, he doesn't catch balls he should be catching, and then he can't get a good ball sometimes thrown to him. Aaron Rodgers misses. Yes, under throws. Drew: You mean the slant routes that Aaron Rodgers just underthrows him the entire time? Amanda: And then when he get it's almost like DK's like, I didn't expect that to actually come to me because you can't fucking. I just feel like they're fighting and like it just it's bad. Drew: DK's also a He's a body catcher. So like he doesn't he's a body catcher. You gotta put it right in his chest on his slant routes. He'll catch it if you put it in his chest. You put it a little bit out of there, he's not gonna catch it. But no, he's getting too many targets. that team sucks so bad. Amanda: So bad guys. My heart hurts. Okay. Drew: Alright, Mackay Lemon. No. Yep. Amanda: Yes. see like I say Makai Lemon, no, DeTavian Wicks. Wait, Drew: What? Amanda: Makai Lemon, yes. DeTavian Wicks, no. Drew: no no I get you. Dontavian Wicks certainly Don Tavian Wicks is the number two target. Amanda: Yes. Drew: my thing with Mikhail Lemon is he's a rookie, Amanda: Rookie. Drew: it takes a little bit of time. I'm worried that he will have a bigger second half, but they don't throw the ball a lot, so maybe it is a yes. Amanda: I don't know. I my opinion, if you're in a place where like you need a player that's actually gonna be relevant now, like yeah, McCarlum is not getting enough action now. Drew: Yeah, no, that's yeah, sure. If you need to okay, I've changed my mind. Yes. Jacoby Myers. Yes. Amanda: Yes. Drew: Jordan Addison. Yes. No, I'm just k I'm just kidding. It's a no. I just know I I know you love Jordan Addison. Yeah, I'm gonna I I'm Amanda: No. Cool. I'm waiting. I was like, fuck you. I'm waiting. I do. Drew: gonna wait another look, here's the only caveat. If it looks like Carson W like I don't think that's gonna be the case, but if Carson Wentz is gonna be the starter for two or three more weeks I would trade Addison right now if he ha if you can get anything for him. Cause I don't think Jordan Addison has value without Kyler Murray or a different quarterback. Carson like Carson Wentz is just not good enough and he hyper targets the number one receiver. They also, again, Amanda: Like Drew: they played in just an absolute downpour. So I probably just throw out week two. all right, here's a picnic. Colston Loveland. No. You can't I just I wouldn't drop him. Amanda: No, I don't know if I'd I'm not playing him right now, but I would keep him I'd hoard him as long as I can. Yeah. Yes. Yeah, I know. Drew: yeah, I don't I don't think I play him right now, but I'm definitely not. Yeah. And Kyle Pitts. No. We talked about this earlier. We disagreed a little bit. I want to see one week with a real NFL. Amanda: And that's fair. Like I I probably like firmly do agree with you. I think like I just i I would move on. I just yeah. Drew: He's played two games with a glorified flag football quarterback. So, like, c what are we doing? Don't be mean. Did you watch the game? My God. That was one of the worst quarterback performances I've ever seen in my entire life. It was disgusting. Amanda: Yeah, it was hard to watch. Drew: And I'm a Browns fan. I've seen a lot of bad quarterback play over the years. And that was Amanda: You have. You have. Drew: terrible. So Amanda: All right. Well, that was our DeForce Papers episode or segment. I was gonna say sequence. Why can't I say words? I never use words in correct context when put into game time decision. So you guys just get to deal with the weird shit that comes out of my mouth. Nonetheless, let's do some early waiver wire players to target. As a reminder, our full waiver wire list does get put up on the Patreon. We post that on Tuesdays in the Patreon. We can then also give you specific roster advice on maybe what you should be looking at to help bolster and enhance your team. So if you're not a member of the Patreon, you are missing out on the full waiver wire information. But some early waiver wire targets, who are we looking at? They don't mean you have to have them, okay? Cause you might look at this Drew: Yep. Again, these are just targets. Yeah, these are just targets. They are not our f yeah, they're not our Amanda: and be like, I might really want them, but it doesn't work for my team. Okay. Drew: Sure, but they are also not our full rankings. So there is no particular order here. We haven't Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: gone through to do our full rankings yet. Those will be on our Patreon, obviously, like Amanda said. but positionally, we're gonna go by position. I've got a couple quarterbacks that we like. Tyler Shuck and Bryce Young. we like both of them. If they are out there, they should be rostered. also most of the players on this list are fifty percent or under. 50% rostered or below in you know most leagues like 12 team or above or 12 team or below I guess but we like both of them Jonah Col sorry running back position Jonah Coleman Emmanuel Wilson and Tank Bigsby are the three running backs we like these are all injury dependent or Amanda: Correct. You gotta keep your eye on it. Drew: yeah injury dependent players so if J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey and the reports come out that they're both expected to play in week three before your waivers run. Jonah Coleman's priority level drops down. However, I'm still looking at potentially stashing him on my bench because he did look good. Emmanuel Wilson, he's a spot start player. So if price is out, he's a plug and play pickup to play guy. I don't think he's a guy that I'm spending a lot of fab or waiver priority on. just to have on the team because it's already a Seattle team that splits the backfield carries up. He's gonna be sharing time and price is still gonna be the guy when he comes back. But if price is out, he's a good plug and play. Tank Bigsby, if Saquon's back, he is just a good handcuffed like a Kalon Black. You're not picking him up to play him. He should just be owned by the Barkley manager if you can. the tight end position Dalton Schultz looks like he should be started just about every week, at least until Nico comes back. Feels terrible. Darren Waller, Amanda: How does that feel to say out loud? Good? Mm-hmm. Drew: we mentioned him earlier. He needs to be on rosters. Aronde Gadston had a terrible Amanda: The Disney Prince. Drew: yeah, he had a terrible preseason, so he was knocked down to third on the depth chart. But both Njoku and Kohler got hurt this week. So Gadston could have a bigger role. Amanda: Just like that, he's number one again. Drew: Yeah, I also think they're desperately needing that explosive tight end play. And Amanda: They need yes, they need some juice. Drew: the other two don't provide that, so we'll see what happens. And then Denzel Boston, who I believe should be the number one pickup, at least from early looking at this. I think he should be number one overall. and then Rashad Bateman, if Flowers is out, he's a really good pickup. My guess is he's probably already on a roster from from last week with Flowers being out, but yeah, Denzel Boston, Jonah Coleman, and Tyler Shuck to me are they should be picked up. They should be on rosters for sure. So if they're available, I would go after them. Everybody else is a little bit dependent upon a few other things. And then certain players like a Darren Waller, I think he's a great guy that if you have a Loveland or a Pitts, I think he's a great guy to pick up because you can play him now and you're just hoping for a a touchdown. So that is our early Amanda: Yep. Yep. Drew: waiver wires. Amanda: All right. Well, that's all we got for you guys this week.
