  There is something called the staying power.

  You know, when I look at the life of the apostles, you know,

  these men are extraordinary people because just think about

  it, A man was thrown in an island, abandoned in an island.

  And the first thing you would think that such a person is

  going to do after I've been deserted by men because of many
• 0:22
  attempts of they tried to kill him and they could not, you
• 0:25
  would think that the mom said, God, why did you allow all of
• 0:27
  this happen to me? Why did you after all my years
• 0:31
  of serving you, after all my years of praying to us, to you,
• 0:35
  after all my years of commitment to you?
• 0:37
  But the Bible talked about the same man that was thrown in an
• 0:41
  island called Patmos. That is John de Beloved, the
• 0:44
  Scripture said, he said I was in the spirit on the lost day.
• 0:48
  What is the connection? How can a man that they just
• 0:52
  persecuted dismantled all kinds of thing, You know, they've
• 0:57
  beating him everything for the sake of the gospel.
• 0:59
  He said I was in the spirit and the last day and he wrote the
• 1:02
  Book of Revelation. You know, for many of you who
• 1:04
  are not aware, the Book of Revelation was written by a man
• 1:06
  that was thrown in an island called Patmos whereby no, the
• 1:10
  idea for him was so that he could die there.

  You know, they left him there, but that was where he received
• 1:16
  all the revelations that he needed.

  That shows you that the same power these men have, you know,
• 1:24
  despite the persecution, despite the pressure of life, despite
• 1:28
  their personal problems, problems because of their
• 1:31
  witness of Jesus, they kept impressing.

  You know, it's something I kept on observing about them.
• 1:36
  These guys never stopped. And it makes me see that we as
• 1:40
  believers in our days, we must learn.
• 1:43
  We must learn to persevere. We must learn to press it
• 1:47
  because our generation, a little pressure, we are out of the way,
• 1:52
  a little thing, we give up. But those guys, they kept on
• 1:56
  pressing despite the position, despite the persecution, despite
• 2:00
  the adversities, they kept on pressing till the very end.
• 2:04
  And that is the kind of mentality we all must carry
• 2:08
  because at the end of the day, your ability to endure is seen
• 2:12
  to the extent of your ability to press into all that God has for
• 2:17
  your life. You know, most times we find
• 2:19
  ourselves in things and the first thing that we want to do
• 2:22
  is to give up and the first thing in the midst of pressure
• 2:25
  is to feel God has abandoned us. But these guys never felt that
• 2:29
  way. Let me give you another example.

  You know if you read First Corinthians 4/17, he said
• 2:36
  something very powerful. He said for we have these
• 2:37
  treasures in 18 vessels. He said for the Excellency may
• 2:41
  be of God and not of us. And he went further.

  He said though we are pressed on every side, we are not in
• 2:47
  despair. He said though we get knocked
• 2:49
  down, but we are not abandoned by God.
• 2:52
  He said though we had, we are facing all the oppositions.
• 2:55
  He said quitting is not an option that hit home because at
• 2:58
  the end of the day only the one that quit loses.

  Imagine after everything the depth of revelation, the depth
• 3:06
  of impact God will want to do through your life, and then
• 3:10
  you've just decided to quit. You decide to give up.
• 3:13
  You decide to give up on life. You decide to give up on your
• 3:15
  destiny, decide to give up on the promises of God for your
• 3:18
  life. You will not be able to see the
• 3:20
  best out of it. So this message is coming to
• 3:23
  you. Maybe you just stumble upon it
• 3:25
  for you to realize that God has something He wants to do to you
• 3:29
  and that can be developed through having that secret
• 3:33
  relationship with God. The Bob said those that wait
• 3:35
  upon the Lord, their strengths shall lose between you.

  See if you faint in the days of adversity means your strength is
• 3:41
  small, so you must always go back again with him.

  Let God be your uncle because only him can strengthen you in
• 3:48
  the face of battle. You know the Sammy said by God I

  can run through a troop and I can leap over a wall.

  Why? Because God was his support

  system. If you go on the excess and

  looking for his support system, it will fail you in the day of

  trouble. So just like this man, what give

  them the same power is the ability to constantly,

  constantly behold him every day. And as they kept on beholding,

  they were being transformed, they were being changed.

  This is the word of the Lord for someone today.

  This is not the year to give up. This is not the year to back up.

  This is the year to keep on pressing press into all that God
• 4:21
  has for you. This is not the year to say I'm
• 4:24
  going to, you know, not press into all that God has for my
• 4:28
  life. I hope this message blesses
