- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York.
- 0:04Speaker 2: So markim own show on seven tenor.
- 0:11Speaker 3: I've been gone a few days. A lot has happened.
- 0:13Speaker 3: We'll go over all of it and bring you all
- 0:15Speaker 3: the latest, all the inside scoop on everything. And Thanksgiving
- 0:21Speaker 3: is over with, Thank God, it's enough with that Thanksgiving.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Now it's the Christmas season. The tree is gonna get
- 0:27Speaker 3: lit this week, so my, but it's going to be
- 0:31Speaker 3: a big week with all this Christmas stuff. And it
- 0:33Speaker 3: looks like more tourists than ever are coming to New York.
- 0:38Speaker 3: In fact, people tell me they're trying to get a
- 0:40Speaker 3: hotel room in New York City right now in the
- 0:42Speaker 3: next couple of weeks, and it's absolutely impossible. So that's
- 0:46Speaker 3: good for New York. That means tourism, which is a
- 0:49Speaker 3: major major source of revenue, is way up. And real
- 0:53Speaker 3: estate people tell me people are buying and there's no
- 0:58Speaker 3: shortage of customers showing up wanting to buy something in
- 1:01Speaker 3: New York. So despite Mom, Donnie, new York looks pretty good.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Looks like everything's going to be great this coming year. Also,
- 1:09Speaker 3: remember affordability. I love to talk about affordability. These Democrats. Meantime,
- 1:15Speaker 3: they're the problem when it comes to affordability. Taxing people
- 1:18Speaker 3: to death. The taxes that they put on you, especially
- 1:22Speaker 3: in any blue place like New York City tax, property tax,
- 1:26Speaker 3: state tax, they just tax you to death, which is
- 1:29Speaker 3: basically a tariff. It's personal tariffs they're putting on you.
- 1:32Speaker 3: So nobody's tariffing you more than these Democratic lawmakers with
- 1:37Speaker 3: these policies and these taxes, and that's the affordability crisis.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Cut these taxes. Now, the President got that big beautiful
- 1:45Speaker 3: bill passed, and people complain about the economy. It's not great,
- 1:50Speaker 3: it's better than it was. Remember, we inherited in this administration.
- 1:55Speaker 3: They inherited a major, major mess. Inflation as high as
- 2:00Speaker 3: nine percent, and throughout the Biden administration averaged five percent.
- 2:04Speaker 3: It's now down to two and a half percent, heading
- 2:07Speaker 3: to two percent. But that won't happen till next year.
- 2:10Speaker 3: And here's the important thing to remember about the big
- 2:11Speaker 3: beautiful bill. It contained the largest tax cut in history.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And you might be saying, well, I don't feel it. Well,
- 2:20Speaker 3: it didn't kick in yet. It kicks in in January.
- 2:22Speaker 3: The big, big beautiful bill and the tax cutting, all
- 2:25Speaker 3: that doesn't start till twenty twenty six. So in January,
- 2:30Speaker 3: you'll get your tax cut, you'll get some relief, maybe
- 2:34Speaker 3: Thanksgiving weekend vacation. Everybody's off. Everybody, but not the fake news.
- 2:39Speaker 3: They were working twenty four to seven to try to
- 2:43Speaker 3: get President Trump in one way or another. Whatever they
- 2:48Speaker 3: can do. They latch onto every little thing. So the
- 2:52Speaker 3: latest one is Pete Hegxath giving his order to when
- 2:57Speaker 3: you blow up the drug boat, if there's any serve
- 3:00Speaker 3: floating in the water, blow them up to second bombing
- 3:05Speaker 3: kill them, which some legal analysts say would be war crimes.
- 3:11Speaker 3: It's a controversial thing. Now, the good news is there's
- 3:14Speaker 3: absolutely no evidence anywhere that this happened. You may well
- 3:20Speaker 3: bet that's all over the news. What do you mean
- 3:21Speaker 3: it never had Well, it all comes from one story
- 3:24Speaker 3: in the Washington Post. And in that story, and remember
- 3:27Speaker 3: this is the Washington Post, who all they do is
- 3:30Speaker 3: go after Trump day and Night's been going on for
- 3:32Speaker 3: ten years and ninety nine point nine percent of their
- 3:34Speaker 3: attacks on Trump turned out to be totally false. You
- 3:38Speaker 3: can check their record on that, and in this one,
- 3:42Speaker 3: they have absolutely no evidence of any kind. They don't
- 3:46Speaker 3: have a single source they can name, they don't have
- 3:49Speaker 3: a shred of evidence of any of this, So there's
- 3:51Speaker 3: no reason to think it's true. Exits that it didn't happen,
- 3:54Speaker 3: and I don't know. I would assume it didn't happen
- 3:59Speaker 3: because it's just there's no reason for it. And again
- 4:03Speaker 3: the Washington Post, if there were any evidence anywhere, if
- 4:06Speaker 3: anybody saw it, heard it, they would have had it
- 4:09Speaker 3: in the article. So they wrote this thing but with
- 4:12Speaker 3: absolutely no evidence. The President flying back to Washington last night,
- 4:15Speaker 3: was asked about it on the plane.
- 4:17Speaker 4: We'll look into it, but no, I wouldn't have wanted that,
- 4:20Speaker 4: not a second strike. The first strike was very lethal,
- 4:24Speaker 4: it was fine, and if there were two people around,
- 4:26Speaker 4: but Pete said that didn't happen, I have great confidence.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Yeah. So again, no evidence anywhere that had actually happened.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Although it doesn't matter of those crazy people in Congress.
- 4:37Speaker 3: They're going to hold hearings, investigations, there's that, but investigate
- 4:41Speaker 3: all you want, have as many hearings as you want.
- 4:44Speaker 3: There's no evidence anywhere anywhere that had happened. Now. The
- 4:49Speaker 3: other controversy that if you're watching these Sunday shows, they
- 4:52Speaker 3: were pretty desperate this weekend because it's Thanksgiving. Weekend, all
- 4:55Speaker 3: the big guests are away. You saw a lot of
- 4:58Speaker 3: Tim Waltz. Might have said to you, says, yes, it's
- 5:01Speaker 3: Tim Waltz. Everybody's putting Tim Waltz on TV. Is he's
- 5:03Speaker 3: making a big combay? No, No, there's just Thanksgiving weekend.
- 5:06Speaker 3: You couldn't get anybody. All the major names are away,
- 5:09Speaker 3: so you had to go to your B list and
- 5:11Speaker 3: they were away, and then you were down to like
- 5:13Speaker 3: the D list, and then the bottom of the barrel
- 5:16Speaker 3: was Tim Waltz. If you're watching the Sunday shows, the
- 5:18Speaker 3: guests all seem to have splinters all over them from
- 5:22Speaker 3: being in the bottom of the barrel, and that's why
- 5:24Speaker 3: you saw them. They they did go back. They're still trying.
- 5:29Speaker 3: You see what they've They've come up with something. They
- 5:32Speaker 3: come up with some plot like this Pete Hexath story,
- 5:35Speaker 3: and then they push it non stop around the clock,
- 5:38Speaker 3: day and night, morning, Joe, Rachel, Matt out of the
- 5:41Speaker 3: view every day, just keep John Stewart. They keep pushing it,
- 5:45Speaker 3: pushing it and pushing it. Finally, there's no evidence it
- 5:48Speaker 3: fizzles out. It's gone. We could go back and name
- 5:51Speaker 3: you have two hundred of these things and then about
- 5:53Speaker 3: seven eight weeks later they just give up. The other
- 5:56Speaker 3: one is this Democrats with the illegal orders. If you
- 6:00Speaker 3: get an illegal order from Donald Trump, you can refuse it.
- 6:04Speaker 3: We will back when you get an illegal order. Now,
- 6:06Speaker 3: there's never been any hint anywhere of anybody getting an
- 6:09Speaker 3: illegal order. It's a totally non existent, made up, fake problem.
- 6:14Speaker 3: But these Democrats, backed by sorrows, the Soros family, put
- 6:20Speaker 3: up a lot of money for this stuff. And now,
- 6:24Speaker 3: I mean they think this out, they plot this out.
- 6:26Speaker 3: If you get this all over the place, stir up
- 6:28Speaker 3: this controversy. There's no never been any even suspicion of
- 6:34Speaker 3: an illegal order anywhere. But if you start running this
- 6:36Speaker 3: stuff all and how people think, oh illegal orders. Wow.
- 6:40Speaker 3: So if I were the president, I would do it.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Right Back to Mark Kelly, I just start posting videos.
- 6:46Speaker 3: If you've been raped by Mark Kelly, you have every
- 6:51Speaker 3: right to contact the police. Just run these all over
- 6:53Speaker 3: the place. If you've been raped by Senator Mark, if
- 6:56Speaker 3: you've been sexually abused by Mark Kelly, contact the authorities.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Dial nine to one one of me. Now, there's no
- 7:03Speaker 3: hint that he's ever done such a thing, no reason
- 7:06Speaker 3: to think he's ever done such a thing. But if
- 7:09Speaker 3: you run this video enough and it gets played all
- 7:11Speaker 3: over the place, people are going to start to look
- 7:13Speaker 3: at him like he's a dangerous, weird, creepy guy. So
- 7:17Speaker 3: it's just creating this fake illusion that there's some kind
- 7:19Speaker 3: of illegal orders. There's no hint of it ever, nothing
- 7:23Speaker 3: like that has happened. Cash Battel FBI director, and a
- 7:28Speaker 3: lot of flack on him. Now a lot of this
- 7:32Speaker 3: is just made up. Some of this there might be
- 7:34Speaker 3: some validity to another president's taking keeping an eye on
- 7:38Speaker 3: cash Batel, just his management dis executive abilities within the FBI.
- 7:43Speaker 3: People say it's a little rudderless. He's good on some things,
- 7:47Speaker 3: other things he's a little sloppy. There's people upset with
- 7:51Speaker 3: you know, he's using private jets to go on vacation
- 7:54Speaker 3: and there's you know, playing golf too much, using a
- 7:56Speaker 3: lot of security security on his girlfriend, FBI guarding. This
- 8:02Speaker 3: is all a taxpayer expense. But there is some evidence
- 8:05Speaker 3: that there were death threats and the death threats went
- 8:08Speaker 3: to his girlfriend as well, so that would justify that.
- 8:12Speaker 3: The other controversy, Oh, this is another one they're going
- 8:15Speaker 3: to try. The president got his yearly physical and they
- 8:21Speaker 3: took an MRI. Now they're demanding to see the MRI.
- 8:26Speaker 3: And President Trump was asked about it. They thought they
- 8:29Speaker 3: had him. They're going to confront him. Will you release
- 8:31Speaker 3: that MRI? And he said yeah, okay, oh yeah, I'll
- 8:34Speaker 3: release it. Yeah, why not, which kind of stunned them.
- 8:37Speaker 3: It's not unusual, especially when you get older, if they
- 8:41Speaker 3: think they see something, you know, sometimes it's just a
- 8:43Speaker 3: spot on a cat scan or a actually got a
- 8:47Speaker 3: little spot, not sure what it is, so just for
- 8:49Speaker 3: just to be safe, theyll MRI it because that's more detailed.
- 8:52Speaker 3: It's usually something like that. There's no evidence that anything
- 8:55Speaker 3: serious happened in the MRI. You see. Oh the fight
- 9:00Speaker 3: to see this. They must see this. As if Jake
- 9:04Speaker 3: Tapper will know how to read an MRI, Well, we'll
- 9:06Speaker 3: get a doctor to yeah, you look, get one of
- 9:08Speaker 3: their fake CNN doctors. In fact, who's this Vin Gupta.
- 9:13Speaker 3: They've been using him a lot MSNBC. He's been all
- 9:15Speaker 3: over television. Check out my Twitter you'll see some very
- 9:18Speaker 3: funny video where he's saying, as a doctor, I'm looking
- 9:21Speaker 3: at the President Trump and he looks he clearly has
- 9:24Speaker 3: cognitive decline. I can see he's not functioning properly, doesn't
- 9:27Speaker 3: look good. So we got that video and then it's
- 9:30Speaker 3: cut together with a year ago where he's saying, Joe
- 9:33Speaker 3: Biden looks fine as a doctor. I can see he's vigorous,
- 9:36Speaker 3: he looks as sharp, and so you can't trust these MSNBC,
- 9:40Speaker 3: CNN doctor types, these fake news doctors. The National Guard
- 9:45Speaker 3: shooting course a horrific story over the holiday weekend. The
- 9:49Speaker 3: guy was a he had worked with the CIA, he
- 9:53Speaker 3: was a professional assassin in Afghanistan. It's believed that he
- 9:58Speaker 3: was radicalized, that he's to terrorism of some kind, and
- 10:05Speaker 3: that this was not just a guy when crazy and
- 10:07Speaker 3: started firing. This was some kind of a deliberate terrorist
- 10:10Speaker 3: attack plan to screw up everybody for the Thanksgiving holiday.
- 10:14Speaker 3: It happened the night before. They've got the suspect. He
- 10:18Speaker 3: was shot. They shot back and hit him. He's not
- 10:21Speaker 3: dead and looks like he'll survive, and that'll be a
- 10:23Speaker 3: hell of a trial. So we'll get into that in
- 10:25Speaker 3: more detail coming up. Frightening thing over the last a
- 10:31Speaker 3: few did frightening Andrew Cuomo speaking about something Somewhere in
- 10:37Speaker 3: the speech he hinted at a return and some interpreted.
- 10:41Speaker 3: What he was saying is that he might be running
- 10:43Speaker 3: for governor or Congress next year. Boy, you talk about
- 10:47Speaker 3: a guy with no self awareness at all, no clue
- 10:52Speaker 3: is how he's perceived by the public. The governor's race
- 10:57Speaker 3: is next year. He could run for that, or he
- 10:59Speaker 3: could run for congres. He could be a congressman, he
- 11:01Speaker 3: could be a Senator. I don't think he has any
- 11:04Speaker 3: chance of that. They don't like him in New York City.
- 11:06Speaker 3: When he ran for mayor, he had the biggest advantage
- 11:11Speaker 3: of any candidate ever. Nobody's ever had advantages like this.
- 11:16Speaker 3: They chased other people out of the race. They told
- 11:19Speaker 3: Adams to get out of the race. He got out.
- 11:21Speaker 3: They kept telling Curtis to get out. Curtis, being a
- 11:23Speaker 3: man of principal, did not get out. But everybody everywhere
- 11:29Speaker 3: was all over everything you could be watching or seeing,
- 11:32Speaker 3: telling you do not vote for Curtis, vote for Cuomo. Everybody,
- 11:36Speaker 3: including the President of the United States. So every voter
- 11:40Speaker 3: was being told by everybody on the air, online, everywhere
- 11:43Speaker 3: to vote for Cuomo. And despite that, he couldn't win
- 11:47Speaker 3: with all of that going for him, and he was
- 11:49Speaker 3: up against a complete left wing nut job and he
- 11:51Speaker 3: couldn't win, couldn't win at all, had nothing to do
- 11:54Speaker 3: with Curtis. You could have added every single Curtis voter
- 11:57Speaker 3: to his total and he still didn't come close. He
- 12:00Speaker 3: still would have lost by a number of points. So
- 12:05Speaker 3: that's New York City. Now upstate he's less popular. So
- 12:08Speaker 3: if he couldn't win New York City with every advantage
- 12:11Speaker 3: in the world, how's he gonna win upstate with no advantages.
- 12:14Speaker 3: So it's a ridiculous thing on his part. Now, either
- 12:19Speaker 3: he's just totally delusional, or it's also possible he knows
- 12:24Speaker 3: he can't win. But you put that out in the
- 12:26Speaker 3: air that you're gonna be running for governor senator, and
- 12:28Speaker 3: then all these people who you're looking at for a
- 12:31Speaker 3: job or for money, or you want them to hire
- 12:35Speaker 3: you as a lobbyist a consultant or give you a
- 12:37Speaker 3: big executive job makes you more attractive, and think, oh,
- 12:40Speaker 3: this guy might be governor, and better hire him. We
- 12:42Speaker 3: should put this guy on the payroll. He could be
- 12:44Speaker 3: the senator. So that might be the other reason he's
- 12:47Speaker 3: doing it. A lot of people yelling and screaming that
- 12:49Speaker 3: we have to have a Republican party in New York.
- 12:52Speaker 3: You need a two party system. The Democratic Party is
- 12:55Speaker 3: a huge organization apparatus, a lot of infrastructure, of amount
- 13:00Speaker 3: of workers, ground game, everything. The Republican Party is like
- 13:05Speaker 3: two guys part time in an office and nothing. There's
- 13:09Speaker 3: no Republican Party, nothing, nothing, It doesn't exist. So that
- 13:13Speaker 3: should be a goal actually for all the big Republican donors.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Create an actual Republican party with big, big, big personnel, infrastructure,
- 13:23Speaker 3: with a lot of clout. There's no Republican actual Republican parties,
- 13:26Speaker 3: a tiny little thing. Then you got these Republican clubs
- 13:30Speaker 3: that do absolutely nothing to help anybody. They just hold dinners,
- 13:35Speaker 3: try to get somebody from Fox to come be the speaker,
- 13:37Speaker 3: chase them around the room and take selfies with them.
- 13:40Speaker 3: It's usually just a bunch of old ladies. That's all
- 13:42Speaker 3: they do. It doesn't help any candidate anywhere in any election.
- 13:47Speaker 3: So creating a Republican party very very important.
- 13:51Speaker 5: Here.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Coming up, we'll get to Dick Van Dyke. How do
- 13:54Speaker 3: you live to be one hundred? He had some great lessons.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Oh welso, and yet no it's happening. We'll probably get
- 14:04Speaker 3: an announcement later. There's you know, casinos in New York.
- 14:07Speaker 3: There's three bids left for city casinos in New York
- 14:11Speaker 3: City and the gaming whatever they are gaming facility location board,
- 14:18Speaker 3: which why are we trusting these five people to make
- 14:20Speaker 3: the decision anyway, they're going to make the decision. Now,
- 14:24Speaker 3: there's three left, three locations left, and this board could
- 14:29Speaker 3: happen in the next hour or two. We'll make the decision.
- 14:32Speaker 6: Now.
- 14:32Speaker 3: They could decide to have all three have the casinos.
- 14:35Speaker 3: They could pick one or two, or they could decide no,
- 14:37Speaker 3: none of them, and then if they don't get through
- 14:41Speaker 3: this hearing, that's pretty much the end of it. One
- 14:43Speaker 3: of the casinos, Steve Cohen big a casino with it's
- 14:47Speaker 3: not just a casino, you want to think a hotel,
- 14:49Speaker 3: a concert venue, everything. It would be right a clo
- 14:51Speaker 3: across from City Field, and then the other one would
- 14:56Speaker 3: be in the Bronx. That's the one I would go
- 14:58Speaker 3: with because it's a you know, when you go over
- 15:00Speaker 3: the throgs Neck, there's a golf course there that was
- 15:02Speaker 3: the Trump golf Course, and because of Trump's arrangement syndrome,
- 15:06Speaker 3: they may take the name off it. Now it's valleys.
- 15:11Speaker 3: You could put one there because it might help the Bronx,
- 15:16Speaker 3: But I don't know how does it help really? It
- 15:19Speaker 3: brings in a lot of people over there over the
- 15:21Speaker 3: throgs Neck, But if you go right over the throgs Neck,
- 15:23Speaker 3: that whole area there seems to be pretty much a
- 15:26Speaker 3: big residential neighborhood. Why would they want a casino in there?
- 15:30Speaker 3: Then the other bit is aqueduct racetrack in Queen's they've
- 15:33Speaker 3: got slot machines. This would be to go full casino everything,
- 15:39Speaker 3: you know, tables and showrooms. But again, do we really
- 15:45Speaker 3: need that? Who needs that? You know? The silliest one
- 15:47Speaker 3: was Times Square. Now go to Times Square tonight at midnight.
- 15:51Speaker 3: It's packed, you can't move, it's mob there's lights and
- 15:54Speaker 3: stores and everything and a million people. I mean, nobody
- 15:59Speaker 3: would stand there in that crowd. It would take you
- 16:01Speaker 3: an hour to fight your way through the crowd. Nobody
- 16:03Speaker 3: would stand and go, huh, you know what this needs?
- 16:06Speaker 3: A casino. Usually put the casino where it's empty and
- 16:09Speaker 3: dead and you're trying to bring it back. You don't
- 16:11Speaker 3: usually put it in a place where it's two crowded
- 16:13Speaker 3: to begin with, and it's going twenty four hours a
- 16:16Speaker 3: day non stut Anyway, We've got a lot to get to.
- 16:18Speaker 3: We'll get to Mom, Donnie, We'll get to Luigi Mangion,
- 16:21Speaker 3: We'll get to Black Friday. It looks like it was
- 16:24Speaker 3: the best one ever on record. So you know, when
- 16:27Speaker 3: you see these surveys of people the consumer confidence wait wait,
- 16:30Speaker 3: waitit way down. Don't go by what people sometimes get
- 16:34Speaker 3: conned to say things in a pull. The fact is
- 16:37Speaker 3: they spent more money this Black Friday than ever, so
- 16:40Speaker 3: that tells you more than the opinions do. We'll take
- 16:44Speaker 3: some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three to two
- 16:46Speaker 3: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 16:49Speaker 3: to two one zero seven ten.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Give woor oh, Bri said on the iHeartRadio app to
- 16:55Speaker 1: hear Mark Simone and all the WR hosts in and
- 16:59Speaker 1: indell back to the Mark Simo Show on WR.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 17:09Speaker 3: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 17:14Speaker 3: Joe in New York City. Joe, how you doing New.
- 17:17Speaker 7: York City mayor election? Mark? Mark the next one. We
- 17:21Speaker 7: need help from Brooklyn Vincent to go get rid of
- 17:24Speaker 7: that communist moment. Danny. We don't Wanni, I mean, we
- 17:28Speaker 7: need Elder Statesmen spokesman Vincent.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Well, actually, you know, you bring up, believe it or not,
- 17:33Speaker 3: in all that mess there, you just said there was
- 17:35Speaker 3: a point in there somewhere. We got to go back
- 17:37Speaker 3: to getting like real serious people to run for office.
- 17:42Speaker 3: You know, it used to be serious types. You know,
- 17:45Speaker 3: Rudy Giuliani with a ton of experience, an incredible resume,
- 17:48Speaker 3: or even you know David Dinkets. You might say, wow,
- 17:51Speaker 3: I wasn't a great mayor, but you know a couple
- 17:54Speaker 3: of decades in public service and a very well spoken, articulate,
- 17:58Speaker 3: reasonable sort of a man, George Pataki, and eat people
- 18:02Speaker 3: like that. Now, look at the people you got running
- 18:04Speaker 3: for office. Mam Donnie's twelve years old, he became a
- 18:07Speaker 3: citizen a couple of months ago, never had a job.
- 18:11Speaker 3: You got people even worse, believe it or not. You know,
- 18:13Speaker 3: Mam Donnie. When he leaves the Assembly, somebody's got to
- 18:17Speaker 3: run for a seat. You should see the three candidates
- 18:19Speaker 3: that were running. They're crazier than Ma'm donnie. They're more left,
- 18:22Speaker 3: more ridiculous than so. I don't know. Well, we'll get
- 18:26Speaker 3: into this later. What happened to the Democratic Party and
- 18:29Speaker 3: why this is happening. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 18:33Speaker 3: how you doing. Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 18:36Speaker 8: I hope you had a good Thanksgiving break.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Yeah. You know, the people say, boy, you should never retire.
- 18:43Speaker 3: If you had nothing to do all day, it's awful.
- 18:45Speaker 3: You know what, it was great, It was phenomenal. I
- 18:47Speaker 3: enjoyed having nothing to do. But go ahead, it's nice.
- 18:50Speaker 8: It's nice doing nothing all day. I was going to
- 18:51Speaker 8: point out that the Democrats have two things that they're
- 18:54Speaker 8: very cunning about. One is, I'll put a topic out there,
- 18:57Speaker 8: such as the illegal bombing of the speedboat drug dealers.
- 19:01Speaker 8: They're not Fisherman in its speedboats.
- 19:03Speaker 9: Uh.
- 19:04Speaker 8: And then Republicans take the bait and they go, wow,
- 19:06Speaker 8: we'll hold you know, we'll hold an investigation and we'll see.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Well, it's not Republicans taking the bait. Even in the
- 19:12Speaker 3: Republican Congress, you got a lot of them that hate
- 19:15Speaker 3: Donald Trump. They're looking for trouble. So it's like this
- 19:18Speaker 3: Andy McCarthy, great guy, Andy McCarthy, brilliant guy, but he
- 19:21Speaker 3: hates Trump. He hates Trump. So whenever he writes an
- 19:23Speaker 3: opportunity to pounce, Andy McCarthy takes it.
- 19:27Speaker 8: Otherwise, and the other the other thing they do is
- 19:29Speaker 8: they have their little group of guys. So now this
- 19:32Speaker 8: you know, the flavor of the monks. This is Mark Kelly.
- 19:36Speaker 10: You know when it's you.
- 19:37Speaker 8: Know, it used to be Adam Schiff for Jamie Raskin
- 19:39Speaker 8: or Maxine Waters, and they put him out there and
- 19:42Speaker 8: they're just very devoutly stick to the script.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good point, Mike Yea, thanks for calling
- 19:48Speaker 3: the thing with Mark Kelly. The way he looks, he
- 19:51Speaker 3: looks like a very serious, older, you know guy, like
- 19:55Speaker 3: an old pompous or not pompous, but a very somber
- 19:59Speaker 3: old guy, you know, traditional old sort of a guy.
- 20:03Speaker 3: And then you're like, oh, he's an astronaut, he was
- 20:05Speaker 3: in the military. That seems like a very old fashioned
- 20:08Speaker 3: sort of a So he was talking about running for president,
- 20:11Speaker 3: got nowhere. So now it's all different with him because
- 20:15Speaker 3: you see him all over television acting like a left
- 20:17Speaker 3: wing cook, like a flame throwing hate the president, left wing,
- 20:21Speaker 3: spewing hatred. Now that Democrats like him, Aha, this guy's great.
- 20:25Speaker 3: You know when he looked traditional, reasonable, no interest, Now
- 20:28Speaker 3: that he's like spewing nonsense and vishes hate. Now they
- 20:32Speaker 3: love the guy. Let's go to Jerry in Greenwich, Connecticut. Jerry,
- 20:35Speaker 3: how you doing.
- 20:37Speaker 9: I'm doing well, Mark, thank you for taking my call.
- 20:40Speaker 9: I'm not joking. I'm eighty six years old, and I
- 20:43Speaker 9: would like to know if there is a college, a
- 20:46Speaker 9: special college for all these democrats to go and graduate
- 20:50Speaker 9: for lying to the American people. If there's a special college,
- 20:55Speaker 9: because haven't never heard so many people like.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Oh, you mean a special college to teach craziness lying
- 21:00Speaker 3: left wing. Yes there is. It's called Yale, it's called Harvard,
- 21:03Speaker 3: it's called Columbia, it's called it's every major ivy League college.
- 21:09Speaker 9: I knew there was some college that they go to
- 21:12Speaker 9: learn to lie. Anyway, thank you, take a lot, have
- 21:15Speaker 9: a good day.
- 21:16Speaker 3: All right, thanks for calling. Yeah, you know the problem is,
- 21:18Speaker 3: see the left wing, the crazy George Soros left it.
- 21:22Speaker 3: They're like the communist Chinese. They plot like one hundred
- 21:25Speaker 3: years out.
- 21:26Speaker 11: You know.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Republicans are all busy going to work every day. They
- 21:29Speaker 3: plot like two days out. You know, these democrats they
- 21:31Speaker 3: plot look for decades. So the plot years ago was
- 21:36Speaker 3: to infiltrate the colleges, get rid of the professor, put
- 21:38Speaker 3: in left wing professors, real left wing professors, then left
- 21:43Speaker 3: wing people on the board, to trustees, presidents, all that.
- 21:46Speaker 3: So they became these left wing communists and Doctrine Nations centers.
- 21:52Speaker 3: You send and you have so many people are afraid
- 21:54Speaker 3: to send the kid to college. You know, used to
- 21:56Speaker 3: your kid got accepted at Harvard, you like cry, You're
- 21:58Speaker 3: so happy. Now you cry because you're so scared he's
- 22:00Speaker 3: going to come back up a total communist. There's a
- 22:03Speaker 3: lot of these stories about a guy who fled Cuba
- 22:07Speaker 3: on a life round a raft and got to Miami. Somehow.
- 22:10Speaker 3: He's trying to escape communism, socialism. He came to America,
- 22:14Speaker 3: people like Jerry worked hard, became very very successful. Now
- 22:19Speaker 3: they're able to send their kid to Harvard. And this
- 22:20Speaker 3: guy sends his kid to Harvard. He comes back a communist, guess,
- 22:25Speaker 3: but his whole life trying to escape communism. His son
- 22:27Speaker 3: comes back a communists. But we'll get more into this.
- 22:29Speaker 3: What happened to the Democratic Party? How did it go
- 22:32Speaker 3: so far to the kooky left? A little later, Hey,
- 22:35Speaker 3: Michael Goodwin not with us today on vacation. It's Thanksgiving,
- 22:39Speaker 3: But we'll talk to the brilliant columnist Liz Peak next
- 22:43Speaker 3: on seven to ten WR, where.
- 22:46Speaker 1: You your comes for common sense, Mark Simon on sevent
- 22:50Speaker 1: ten wor.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Well, Liz Peak the brilliant columnists courch. You see her
- 22:56Speaker 3: all over television, and make sure you go to her
- 22:59Speaker 3: website where you get the best news and analysis. It's
- 23:01Speaker 3: lizpeak dot com and you can sign up. They'll email
- 23:05Speaker 3: you every day with all the latest great news, analysis,
- 23:08Speaker 3: all sorts of interesting stuff. Lizpeak dot com. Liz Peak.
- 23:12Speaker 3: How you doing.
- 23:14Speaker 12: I am terrific. I'm recovering from Thanksgiving? How about you?
- 23:18Speaker 3: I'm so glad it's over because I don't want one
- 23:20Speaker 3: more person. What do you do on Thanksgiving? Everybody has
- 23:23Speaker 3: the same stupid story. You know. I went to my sister,
- 23:25Speaker 3: we went to my uncle's, we went to my daughter.
- 23:27Speaker 3: It's all the same. It's like saying, what do you have?
- 23:32Speaker 12: Yeah, what did you have for Thanksgiving dinner?
- 23:34Speaker 3: Uh?
- 23:34Speaker 12: Turkey?
- 23:36Speaker 3: So hey, New York where you're talking about this? Apparently
- 23:40Speaker 3: you cannot get a hotel room in New York City
- 23:41Speaker 3: in the coming weeks. Real estate agents said, I got
- 23:44Speaker 3: tons of clients, So I guess people aren't afraid of mom. Donnie?
- 23:47Speaker 3: Should should we just figure things will be like de Blasio,
- 23:50Speaker 3: We'll get through it.
- 23:52Speaker 12: Well, that's a good question.
- 23:54Speaker 13: People are downplaying the radical team he is assembling.
- 23:59Speaker 12: I mean it is radical, Mark, You've got to say.
- 24:02Speaker 13: I mean, he's got someone newly appointed person to watch
- 24:07Speaker 13: to head up the transportation Department, who I guess is
- 24:11Speaker 13: anti car so that's a useful kind of credential for
- 24:17Speaker 13: figuring out how to improve our traffic. He's got an
- 24:20Speaker 13: education head who is viciously anti Charter, so that's not
- 24:26Speaker 13: very wonderful. I mean, if you just kind of look
- 24:29Speaker 13: at all the various things he's done, other than keeping
- 24:32Speaker 13: Jessica Tish the police commissioner, in place, I'd say pretty
- 24:35Speaker 13: much everything he's done is right out of the most
- 24:38Speaker 13: left wing handbook you could possibly write, and not very encouraging.
- 24:43Speaker 13: Are people basically looking past it? I don't think they
- 24:46Speaker 13: know what to expect, Mark. I mean, we had a
- 24:49Speaker 13: horrible mayor, build a Blasio for eight years, despised by
- 24:55Speaker 13: everybody I know and that you know, who had horrible policies,
- 24:59Speaker 13: wrecked a prosperous.
- 25:01Speaker 12: Safe city, and he really did.
- 25:03Speaker 13: I mean he came in after twelve years, twelve years
- 25:06Speaker 13: of Mike Bloomberg, who, whether you love Mike Bloomberg or not,
- 25:09Speaker 13: he promoted a safe city, prosperous city, attracted new industries
- 25:14Speaker 13: to our town, et cetera. And Bill Deblasio basically set
- 25:18Speaker 13: out to undermine all of that, which was just an
- 25:20Speaker 13: astonishing decision. So, you know, I think they're sort of thinking, well,
- 25:25Speaker 13: if we could survive de Blasio, we could survive this guy.
- 25:28Speaker 13: But you know, I think this guy's worse. I mean,
- 25:31Speaker 13: Deblasio was so kind of all over the place, yes,
- 25:36Speaker 13: ideologically left wing, but really really lazy and inefficient and incompetent.
- 25:41Speaker 13: This guy, who knows, maybe turns out to be more competent,
- 25:44Speaker 13: and that'd be really a disaster for us.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Although everything we've just said is identical to de Blasio.
- 25:50Speaker 3: He had a transportation guy, he hated cars, he had
- 25:53Speaker 3: a yeah it was anti charter, and he brought in
- 25:56Speaker 3: a top police commissionerybody respected Bill Braddon, and most of
- 26:00Speaker 3: these people with Mam Donnie are ex Deblasio administration people.
- 26:03Speaker 12: But that's true, That is true.
- 26:06Speaker 13: I mean, really, other than Harvard hiring Deblasio to teach
- 26:11Speaker 13: courses there, which really just makes your head explode when
- 26:15Speaker 13: you realize that he was truly one of the worst
- 26:17Speaker 13: mayor for the city history.
- 26:20Speaker 12: It's hard to find.
- 26:22Speaker 13: Anyone who could really imagine that hiring the people left
- 26:25Speaker 13: over from his dreadful and by the way, somewhat corrupt
- 26:30Speaker 13: regime would be people you want to hire.
- 26:33Speaker 12: But there you are. And it's not just Deblasio people.
- 26:36Speaker 13: I mean also, Mam Donnie's hiring this has hired this person,
- 26:39Speaker 13: Lena Khan. Lena Khan is someone who has made a
- 26:43Speaker 13: reputation as being basically a anti big business. She was
- 26:49Speaker 13: part of the Biden administration and worked very hard to
- 26:54Speaker 13: undermine any kind of mergers and combinations that would work
- 26:58Speaker 13: for business, arguing that anything big was bad. So you know,
- 27:03Speaker 13: that's not a great sign, right in terms of his
- 27:06Speaker 13: interest in fomenting successful businesses in New York. I don't
- 27:10Speaker 13: think there's much you can sort of hang on to
- 27:12Speaker 13: here in.
- 27:12Speaker 12: The way of good news.
- 27:13Speaker 13: But you know, we all we always look forward to
- 27:17Speaker 13: something getting better.
- 27:18Speaker 12: And I hope it does.
- 27:19Speaker 13: I hope, I hope the cold water of reality washes
- 27:23Speaker 13: over this guy and his group and they realize that
- 27:26Speaker 13: they actually have to promote progress here and not just ideology.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, you were talking of this before the Big
- 27:34Speaker 3: Beautiful Bill had the biggest tax cuts ever. But people say, well,
- 27:39Speaker 3: I don't feel it, whereas it well, it doesn't kick
- 27:41Speaker 3: in until January, so once you get past the new year,
- 27:44Speaker 3: these tax cuts and other things kick in. So it
- 27:46Speaker 3: could be a very very good year for the Trump administration,
- 27:49Speaker 3: couldn't it.
- 27:50Speaker 12: I think it will be, certainly.
- 27:52Speaker 13: Kevin Hasseid, who's head of the Council of Economic Advisors,
- 27:56Speaker 13: Scott Besson, the Treasury Secretary of all but they both
- 27:59Speaker 13: talked about of being a gangbuster twenty twenty six, And yes,
- 28:02Speaker 13: some of it is because of not only pro business
- 28:07Speaker 13: tax deductions and write offs and so forth that will
- 28:10Speaker 13: encourage investment by businesses, but also for people. I mean,
- 28:14Speaker 13: you're getting a bigger standard deduction, you're getting no taxes
- 28:17Speaker 13: on tips at a certain level. You know, there's a
- 28:20Speaker 13: lot of good news to come out of this tax bill.
- 28:24Speaker 13: It is really amazing to me mark how bad bad
- 28:28Speaker 13: Republicans are at promoting policies that have been in place,
- 28:33Speaker 13: like the Big Beautiful Bill. When it was last time
- 28:35Speaker 13: you ever heard of Republican in Congress actually extolling the
- 28:39Speaker 13: benefits of this. They're in a defensive crouch because Democrats
- 28:44Speaker 13: have been hammering away on how it's only a handout
- 28:46Speaker 13: for the rich. Mind you, any tax cuts are a
- 28:50Speaker 13: handout to people who pay taxes, and yes, that's probably
- 28:54Speaker 13: not the bottom forty percent of the country who pay
- 28:57Speaker 13: no taxes.
- 28:57Speaker 12: So this is a bill that will help. I also
- 29:01Speaker 12: think that twenty twenty six, we're going to.
- 29:04Speaker 13: Actually see the incoming money from companies and countries that
- 29:11Speaker 13: A vowed to spend a lot of money and new
- 29:12Speaker 13: investments in the United States.
- 29:14Speaker 12: This is not a fiction.
- 29:17Speaker 13: Democrats totally dismissed this, but you've had many pharmaceutical companies
- 29:22Speaker 13: saying they're going to build new facilities in America. Many
- 29:26Speaker 13: countries are coming here to build data centers and other operations.
- 29:29Speaker 12: Factories are expanding.
- 29:31Speaker 13: If you look on the website, the White House website
- 29:35Speaker 13: has a list of it, and it is hundreds of
- 29:37Speaker 13: billions of dollars.
- 29:38Speaker 12: It's really impressive. Now are we seeing it right now?
- 29:42Speaker 13: We are seeing I think I did a search recently
- 29:46Speaker 13: of new factories that are shovel in the ground. There
- 29:49Speaker 13: are maybe twenty of them underway now. Mark, that's going
- 29:52Speaker 13: to accelerate next year, and you're going to see the
- 29:55Speaker 13: benefits of that in terms of hiring, construction hiring, eventually
- 29:59Speaker 13: fact tree hiring, and also production.
- 30:02Speaker 12: Here in the United States.
- 30:03Speaker 13: Will it all be as labor intensive as factories in
- 30:08Speaker 13: the past.
- 30:08Speaker 12: No, We're going to have.
- 30:09Speaker 13: More AI, more robotics, but better here producing value added
- 30:15Speaker 13: than overseas. And I think I think, you know, coming
- 30:18Speaker 13: into the midterms, Republicans are going to need to have
- 30:21Speaker 13: a good economic story. I think there's a very good
- 30:24Speaker 13: chance they will have.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Yeah. You know, years ago, we decided to outsource all
- 30:28Speaker 3: our manufacturing, and people argued, it's a nightmare as far
- 30:32Speaker 3: as defense. You know, we can't have all our weapons,
- 30:35Speaker 3: our medicines, everything made of It's got all kinds of
- 30:37Speaker 3: But I don't think we ever realized in the end,
- 30:39Speaker 3: as much as it might save money on manufacturing, it
- 30:42Speaker 3: would economically damage the country. So thank god for Donald
- 30:46Speaker 3: Trump right bringing it back.
- 30:49Speaker 13: Yeah, and you know, Joe Biden talked about on shoring,
- 30:53Speaker 13: bringing stuff back to the United States, but really didn't
- 30:55Speaker 13: do anything to promote that, because what do you need
- 30:58Speaker 13: to do. You need to lower taxes, what did Biden do?
- 31:00Speaker 13: He raise taxes, You need to reduce regulations, what did
- 31:04Speaker 13: Biden do he increase regulation?
- 31:06Speaker 12: So yes, the Trump story is a very good story.
- 31:09Speaker 13: A lot of country companies in Europe and Asia are
- 31:13Speaker 13: looking at the United States and saying, hey, here's a
- 31:16Speaker 13: pro business administration. If we can come in there and
- 31:20Speaker 13: take advantage of again copious energy, low taxes, and regulation,
- 31:27Speaker 13: we want to be there. You know, talk to any
- 31:30Speaker 13: business manager in Europe. Operating in Europe is a disaster,
- 31:34Speaker 13: and you know, more and more the head of the
- 31:36Speaker 13: EU is talking about how they have to get in
- 31:40Speaker 13: line with the kinds of policies that we're adopting, because
- 31:43Speaker 13: otherwise they are dead. They are just basically dead in
- 31:46Speaker 13: the water. They're not growing. The United States is growing,
- 31:49Speaker 13: and that is the difference between poverty and productivity and profitability.
- 31:55Speaker 13: And Americans really can look forward to that. These aren't
- 31:59Speaker 13: just talking points. This is actually how the world works.
- 32:02Speaker 13: And if you look, there's been a fifteen year period
- 32:04Speaker 13: up through twenty twenty three where I think the United
- 32:06Speaker 13: States grew eighty seven percent and Europe grew about ten percent.
- 32:10Speaker 13: That is literally true, and boyd the difference in terms
- 32:13Speaker 13: of people's income, people quality of life is vast, and
- 32:18Speaker 13: Americans really kind of need to take stock of that
- 32:21Speaker 13: and count their blessings and say, yeah, you know, we
- 32:23Speaker 13: want to grow. We want to add jobs for people,
- 32:28Speaker 13: we want to add wealth to people. That's what makes
- 32:31Speaker 13: our country special. So I think, yeah, I think this
- 32:34Speaker 13: is all going to work. It's just right now. You know,
- 32:37Speaker 13: you have a lot of obstructionist judges slowing up the
- 32:42Speaker 13: works in terms of getting rid of regulation, and you know,
- 32:46Speaker 13: not all the states are on board to this. But
- 32:48Speaker 13: I think, honestly, the long term picture here is still
- 32:51Speaker 13: very very clear and very positive.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Very well said Liz Peak. Brilliant as always. If you
- 32:56Speaker 3: want that kind of great news analysis, make sure you

- 33:18Speaker 12: Hey, Mark, thank you for having me on.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Take care, Take care, Hey. We got a lot to
- 33:22Speaker 3: get to in the next hour. And then coming up
- 33:24Speaker 3: at noon. I think everybody's back today, Buck and Clay
- 33:27Speaker 3: at noon today, they'll most listen to radio show in America.
- 33:30Speaker 3: You got Sean Hannity at three, Jesse Kelly at six,
- 33:33Speaker 3: and Jimmy Fayla. What a great show he does here
- 33:36Speaker 3: every night. You should check it out tonight nine o'clock
- 33:39Speaker 3: on seven to ten wr.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Insight from the Inside. This is seven ten wrs.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Marksmon Show. Hey, so in the next hour we'll get
- 33:51Speaker 3: to mom Donnie, we'll get to the how I'm nuts
- 33:56Speaker 3: going to get on a plane. Well, we'll get to that.
- 33:58Speaker 3: And Miranda Divine coming up on seven to ten.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Marks Alone on or.
- 34:11Speaker 3: WHOA. So I said, everybody's back, but I don't know.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Just walking down the hall there, it's kind of empty
- 34:17Speaker 3: here today. It looks like everybody's back here, a lot
- 34:21Speaker 3: of empty desks. Of course it's Monday. A lot of
- 34:24Speaker 3: people don't come in on Mondays anyway, at most places. Now,
- 34:28Speaker 3: all these stories all over the news about flights, delayed,
- 34:31Speaker 3: flight cancelations, big blizzard in the Midwest, snowstorm Midwest, snarling
- 34:38Speaker 3: up air, Well that's good because you can come back
- 34:40Speaker 3: a day late and say, hey, I couldn't get back.
- 34:42Speaker 3: I tried. Now he's speaking of weather. By the way,
- 34:47Speaker 3: you know, in Florida there are these hurricanes and then
- 34:50Speaker 3: every year these climate change green schemers would Hey, there
- 34:56Speaker 3: you go, that's climate change. That's why there's so many hurricanes.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Climate change. The reason is the fact that there's all
- 35:02Speaker 3: these hurricanes proves this climate change. Well, did anybody notice
- 35:06Speaker 3: hurricane Season's over?
- 35:07Speaker 5: Now?
- 35:07Speaker 3: Did anybody notice there wasn't a single hurricane in Florida
- 35:09Speaker 3: this year? They didn't have any hurricanes this year. So
- 35:14Speaker 3: according to left wing logic, that means no more climate change.
- 35:19Speaker 3: It must be gone. But anyway, airlines have you do
- 35:22Speaker 3: have weather difficulties, and also they've made such a mess
- 35:26Speaker 3: of everything. You can just sit there. You know, if
- 35:29Speaker 3: you've got a flight leaves at seven, you'll get in
- 35:32Speaker 3: at ten. You don't know if it's going to be
- 35:34Speaker 3: a m or PM by the time you get back.
- 35:36Speaker 3: So here's this woman on a plane who she stands
- 35:41Speaker 3: up in the aisle. You're not supposed to stand up.
- 35:43Speaker 3: They're stuck on the runway, they're going to have to
- 35:45Speaker 3: wait to take off. There's a delay. But she stands
- 35:47Speaker 3: up and the stewards comes and she starts yelling at
- 35:49Speaker 3: the stewardess, I'm standing up, and that's it. I am
- 35:52Speaker 3: legally I am allowed to do. And then it gets
- 35:54Speaker 3: out of hand and she calls the stewardess an effing
- 35:58Speaker 3: C word. You fill in the blanks there. You're not
- 36:01Speaker 3: supposed to do this, obviously, and you shouldn't talk like that.
- 36:04Speaker 3: But on a plane, and she looks across the aisle
- 36:08Speaker 3: someone is recording her with the phone and show. She
- 36:12Speaker 3: immediately stops and gets quiet. But they decided to throw
- 36:16Speaker 3: her off the plane because she was so vile. And
- 36:20Speaker 3: they're already on the runway in a delay, so they
- 36:23Speaker 3: turn around and head back to the gate to get
- 36:25Speaker 3: rid of this woman. That creates another hour delay and
- 36:28Speaker 3: everybody's it went viral. A million people have watched this
- 36:31Speaker 3: terrible woman saying these terrible things. But you shouldn't talk
- 36:36Speaker 3: like that. But it looks like there was a three
- 36:39Speaker 3: hour delay at the gate. Three hour delay at the gate.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Then they get on the plane and there's an hour
- 36:46Speaker 3: and a half delay on the runway. This is a
- 36:48Speaker 3: four and a half hour delay. At some point. You
- 36:51Speaker 3: have a right to get a little upset, don't you.
- 36:55Speaker 3: If you went to a restaurant and they made your
- 36:57Speaker 3: way to half hour, you'd be unhappy. Be half I
- 37:01Speaker 3: had to wait a half hour at the restaurant. Well,
- 37:03Speaker 3: if they said it's a three hour wait and then
- 37:07Speaker 3: you finally sit down, it's gonna be an hour and
- 37:08Speaker 3: a half wait for a waiter to come up, you
- 37:11Speaker 3: go crazy. Who would tolerate this from any business? Why
- 37:14Speaker 3: do airlines have a right to get away with this?
- 37:17Speaker 3: I mean, once in a while there's a terrible situation,
- 37:19Speaker 3: you're going to be delayed, But three hour delay at
- 37:23Speaker 3: the gate, then you get on the plane, it's another
- 37:24Speaker 3: hour and a half delay they whatever happened to that?
- 37:28Speaker 3: You know, all those fake Chuck Schumer proposals that never happened,
- 37:30Speaker 3: those Sunday press conferences. Whatever happened to the one about
- 37:33Speaker 3: the airline has to pay you if they do this
- 37:35Speaker 3: to you, if they have that kind of ridiculous, out
- 37:38Speaker 3: of control delay, they have to be fined. Whatever happened
- 37:41Speaker 3: to that? Like all the Chuck Schumer press conferences, it's
- 37:46Speaker 3: just talk to get on the news. Nothing ever happens
- 37:48Speaker 3: with it. The Oval Office, Look at it is a
- 37:52Speaker 3: Christmas tree? Big? Is that normal to put the tree
- 37:54Speaker 3: right in the Oval Office?
- 37:55Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 37:55Speaker 3: I guess it is. But it's a Trump trees. It's
- 37:59Speaker 3: good ornaments. They're too shiny, too many life now, but
- 38:02Speaker 3: it looks good. It looks pretty good. Portland is now
- 38:07Speaker 3: in the hands of a crazy left wing kook socialist
- 38:10Speaker 3: democrat mayor. So they had their big tree lighting in
- 38:13Speaker 3: Portland and they had the big ceremony and everybody spoke
- 38:18Speaker 3: and there were songs and with this and speeches, and
- 38:21Speaker 3: a lot of people noticed they went through the whole
- 38:23Speaker 3: thing without ever mentioning Christmas. There was no hint of Christmas.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Looks like a Christmas tree, but they called it the tree,
- 38:30Speaker 3: not the Christmas tree. It was the tree. One speaker
- 38:34Speaker 3: Native American from the Something tribe. Next speaker was about
- 38:38Speaker 3: strong women. The next speaker talked about genocides. Funny how
- 38:44Speaker 3: the only genocide they know about is they claim they
- 38:48Speaker 3: claim there's a genocide, and guys, there isn't, but there's
- 38:52Speaker 3: actual real genocides are taking place in like seven places
- 38:55Speaker 3: right now in the world, Africa, other places, real genocides,
- 38:58Speaker 3: and the Left has no interest in it, doesn't even
- 39:01Speaker 3: mention it, pays no attention to it. There was another
- 39:05Speaker 3: speaker at the Portland serve Free Palestine, yelling and screaming
- 39:08Speaker 3: free Palestine. Why does this have to do with lighting
- 39:10Speaker 3: a Christmas tree. You got to give the Palestinians credit
- 39:15Speaker 3: for one thing. They have actually convinced these idiots on
- 39:19Speaker 3: the left. They have convinced them that they're a minority somehow,
- 39:22Speaker 3: that they're a little oppressed minority, oppressed by this big,
- 39:27Speaker 3: massive empire called Israel. It's actually pretty funny if you
- 39:32Speaker 3: think about it, think about how ridiculous it is. Israel
- 39:34Speaker 3: is the little minority being oppressed by the Arab Empire,
- 39:39Speaker 3: which is massive, massive countries and the biggest population, largest,
- 39:44Speaker 3: one of the largest empires in the world. So it's Israel.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Democrats keep forgetting this. Israel is the minority. Israel is
- 39:52Speaker 3: the little oppressed victim of all of this hatred and
- 39:56Speaker 3: anti Semitism. So, hey, Dick Van Dyke is going to
- 40:00Speaker 3: be one hundred. I'd love you know every Sunday night.
- 40:02Speaker 3: You ever watched me TV on Sunday nights? Pretty good?
- 40:05Speaker 3: It's like for all in the families, back to back
- 40:10Speaker 3: before anything was politically correct. You can't believe this stuff
- 40:13Speaker 3: was on television and then at eleven o'clock it's Dick
- 40:17Speaker 3: Van Dyke reruns. Boy, the guy was amazing that Dick
- 40:19Speaker 3: Van Dyke Show. An incredible dancer. I remember once on
- 40:24Speaker 3: this very show, Dick Van Dyke was the guest and
- 40:26Speaker 3: he said he got a call from a little guy.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Told the story, but he said, years ago, a little
- 40:32Speaker 3: guy named Michael Jackson called me and asked me if
- 40:35Speaker 3: you could come over to my house and get some
- 40:36Speaker 3: dancing lessons. So Van Dyke gave Michael Jackson dancing lessons.
- 40:41Speaker 3: He was an incredible dancer, great Broadway star. Bye Bye Birdie,
- 40:46Speaker 3: Dick Van Dyke. That's how I got the Dick Van
- 40:48Speaker 3: Dyke Show. That's what put him on the map. But
- 40:50Speaker 3: he's one hundred years old and a lifetime of dancing
- 40:53Speaker 3: can help you. You know. It's an athletic kind of thing.
- 40:56Speaker 3: But here's a guy who had a smoking problem, drinking problem,
- 41:00Speaker 3: all this stuff. But he's a hundred. How do you
- 41:02Speaker 3: get to be one hundred?
- 41:03Speaker 14: He was asked, I feel really good for one hundred,
- 41:06Speaker 14: you know, but I really don't. I have no pain,
- 41:11Speaker 14: no discomfort. People say, what did you do right? And
- 41:14Speaker 14: I say, don't ask. I don't know.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, usually these dancers you talk to Rock Catzer,
- 41:20Speaker 3: you know, Broadway dancers. Once they're over forty, they start
- 41:23Speaker 3: to get all kinds of arthritis, aches, pains, back, this
- 41:27Speaker 3: from the dancing. But if you really knew what you
- 41:32Speaker 3: were doing, knew how to train and stretch them, and
- 41:33Speaker 3: you can avoid all that. Vantic one hundred years old,
- 41:36Speaker 3: still going strong.
- 41:37Speaker 14: People say what did you do right, and I say,
- 41:39Speaker 14: don't ask.
- 41:40Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 41:42Speaker 14: I think I've always done that. Anger is one thing
- 41:46Speaker 14: that eats a person's in size and hate, and I
- 41:51Speaker 14: never really was able to work up a feeding of hate.
- 41:55Speaker 14: You know, there were things I don't like, people I
- 41:58Speaker 14: don't like and disapprove of, but I never really was
- 42:01Speaker 14: able to do a white age kind of age. I
- 42:04Speaker 14: think that is one of the chief things that kept
- 42:07Speaker 14: me going.
- 42:08Speaker 3: That's good advice. A little hatred dis guy. I like
- 42:11Speaker 3: hating some people, but he's right, don't get crazy angry.
- 42:14Speaker 3: It's just there's fun hatred to do it in a
- 42:16Speaker 3: fun way. I mean Trump arrangement syndrome. That's like really anger,
- 42:20Speaker 3: But hating Biden it's kind of fun, you know, just
- 42:23Speaker 3: making fun of him. You don't really hate him, you
- 42:24Speaker 3: just like to make fun of him. What other advice
- 42:27Speaker 3: does Van Dyke Haster.
- 42:28Speaker 14: We're singing is the best thing you can do for yourself.
- 42:31Speaker 14: Usually I'll wake up with an old tune going through
- 42:34Speaker 14: my head. They call her fivolous South, a peculiar sort
- 42:37Speaker 14: of a goal a while sort of devil. Ooh, dead
- 42:41Speaker 14: on a level was my old.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Pal uh okay, But this guy was a professional singer.
- 42:48Speaker 3: This guy was a Broadway musical comedy star singer. If
- 42:51Speaker 3: you're a professional singer, it's okay for the rest of you.
- 42:54Speaker 3: Don't do it when we're listening. Don't please, don't sing
- 42:56Speaker 3: when we're around. If you're alone in the car, the shower, fine,
- 42:59Speaker 3: but there's nothing more annoying than a bad amateur singer.
- 43:04Speaker 3: But good for him. One hundred and I'm trying to
- 43:10Speaker 3: think who else. Are there any other major stars that
- 43:12Speaker 3: are one hundred years old? Big big stars? I don't
- 43:15Speaker 3: think so. And there were all those guys, Bob Hope,
- 43:17Speaker 3: George Burns. They didn't quite get there, you know, like
- 43:20Speaker 3: ninety eight, ninety nine. But usually they took a bad
- 43:24Speaker 3: fall and that's where it went downhill. Although Hope, Bob
- 43:27Speaker 3: Hope had a guy that took care of what was
- 43:29Speaker 3: his name, Charlie, And by the time he was ninety eight.
- 43:34Speaker 3: He couldn't really go out. He would sit at home
- 43:36Speaker 3: watch TV all day. Charlie would sit with him, and
- 43:38Speaker 3: do you remember one day there was a false alarm,
- 43:41Speaker 3: a false story about him dying. Well, Hope was actually
- 43:45Speaker 3: watching TV. We had CNN on. He's watching it and
- 43:49Speaker 3: the guy comes on the anchoring says, this just in
- 43:52Speaker 3: comedian Bob Hope is dead at the age of ninety eight.
- 43:56Speaker 3: And Hope turned to Charlie and goes, that's not true.
- 44:00Speaker 3: It still had a great sense of humor. Bob morganh
- 44:05Speaker 3: he almost made a hundred. I think he was a
- 44:07Speaker 3: month or two short. I remember we had one hundredth
- 44:08Speaker 3: birthday party for I remember m seeing his one hundredth
- 44:11Speaker 3: birthday party and another guy who was always in great shape.
- 44:15Speaker 3: It worked, I think, right up until the end, doing
- 44:18Speaker 3: one thing or another. So hey, we're talking about this
- 44:22Speaker 3: before the three casinos. The hearing was today on the
- 44:24Speaker 3: final three casinos. Looks like all three got approved, all
- 44:30Speaker 3: three approves. You're gonna get a big casino and a
- 44:33Speaker 3: concert venue and hotel, the whole thing right across from
- 44:36Speaker 3: City Field, a lot of a lot of area. Now
- 44:39Speaker 3: what does that mean. I'm gonna lose a lot of parking. Obviously,
- 44:42Speaker 3: we'll become a parking garage. There are people that live
- 44:46Speaker 3: around City Field. The traffic will be worse than ever.
- 44:49Speaker 3: Not to mention, you got LaGuardia right near there, so
- 44:52Speaker 3: the City Field will get its casino. The other one
- 44:56Speaker 3: is Bally was It was the Trump golf course in
- 44:59Speaker 3: the but I forget what you call throgs Neck or
- 45:01Speaker 3: wherever that is. As soon as you come over the
- 45:03Speaker 3: throgs Neck Bridge, there'll be a big casino there. And
- 45:08Speaker 3: what's the other one, aqueduct aqueduct where there's already slot
- 45:13Speaker 3: machines and all that, you'll get a casino. Three casinos
- 45:16Speaker 3: in New York. Now, I don't really care. I don't
- 45:20Speaker 3: go to casinos. I don't really but I would think
- 45:23Speaker 3: this is very bad for Atlantic City, which is not
- 45:27Speaker 3: doing as well as they'd like. So what happens is
- 45:31Speaker 3: you lose your New York customers. If they got three casinos,
- 45:33Speaker 3: they can go to here, they're not going to Atlantic City.
- 45:36Speaker 3: You know, a lot of people still go to Las
- 45:38Speaker 3: Vegas because it's a vacation. You're out in the desert.
- 45:41Speaker 3: It's a whole different environment. Atlantic City is not exactly
- 45:44Speaker 3: the most scenic. It's not exactly Paris, so you don't
- 45:47Speaker 3: need to go there. This will also be bad for
- 45:51Speaker 3: Mohegan's Sun and Foxwoods because I would guess a lot
- 45:57Speaker 3: of New York City people. But that's that's probably not
- 45:59Speaker 3: a ad chunk of their business. Most of their business
- 46:01Speaker 3: probably from Boston, Providence, that sort of stuff. But all
- 46:04Speaker 3: three casinos were approved. They got to be finally approved
- 46:08Speaker 3: by the state. Whatever. But that should happen, mom. Donnie
- 46:15Speaker 3: hey the fire commissioner, as he was the first one
- 46:17Speaker 3: to resign. Robert Tucker, great guy, wonderful guy, and a
- 46:22Speaker 3: very successful guy in the private sector with a big company,
- 46:25Speaker 3: so he doesn't need to be the fire commissioner. You know,
- 46:27Speaker 3: a lot of these guys are public servants. They can't
- 46:29Speaker 3: do anything in the real world for a living, so
- 46:32Speaker 3: they cling to it. Not Tucker. He resigned right away
- 46:36Speaker 3: and didn't want to say much. But it's getting towards
- 46:39Speaker 3: the end. He's leaving. Here's Tucker.
- 46:41Speaker 15: I believe that the things that I have heard the
- 46:44Speaker 15: mayor say would make it difficult for me to continue
- 46:48Speaker 15: on in such a senior executive role in the administration.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Yeah, so you hear more and more of this as
- 46:56Speaker 3: people leave the administration. The new people coming in are
- 46:59Speaker 3: for They all sound terrible on paper, they're awful. They're
- 47:03Speaker 3: most of them ex de Blasio people. So we you
- 47:07Speaker 3: forget we went through this with Deblasio. Nobody remembers go back,
- 47:12Speaker 3: and I got to go back and look at all
- 47:13Speaker 3: this shows we were doing back then. It was the
- 47:15Speaker 3: same exact conversation just before Deblasio took office about all
- 47:19Speaker 3: these left wing Kooxi was appointing and all the crazy
- 47:23Speaker 3: people who was putting in, and all the crazy ideas
- 47:26Speaker 3: he had. And he put in a traffic commissioner who
- 47:28Speaker 3: hates cars, and he put in a school person who
- 47:31Speaker 3: hates charter So it's the same thing we're doing going
- 47:34Speaker 3: through the same exact thing right now. In fact, it's
- 47:38Speaker 3: all identical. The one thing he did he put in
- 47:40Speaker 3: a one police commissioner everybody thought was good, which was
- 47:42Speaker 3: a Bill Bratton. That was the one good hire he
- 47:46Speaker 3: put in Bill Bratton. Of course Bratton didn't last long,
- 47:52Speaker 3: and then between Deblasio and Eric Adams, we had more
- 47:57Speaker 3: police commissions. You know, usually we're pretty stable on a
- 48:00Speaker 3: police commissioner. Although Dinkins went through a bunch of them.
- 48:05Speaker 3: But then you had Ray Kelly, who was the greatest
- 48:08Speaker 3: police commissioner ever of all time, and it was the
- 48:12Speaker 3: longest serving. I think it's I think eighteen years was
- 48:15Speaker 3: the totally I mean, he's Babe Ruth and he's lou
- 48:18Speaker 3: garrig in that he had the like the longest longevity record,
- 48:23Speaker 3: so it was amazing. Then you got the Blasio, Eric
- 48:26Speaker 3: Adams was I can't even let's see if anybody can
- 48:29Speaker 3: remember all the commissioners, Bill Bratton, Dermott, Shay, who's the
- 48:35Speaker 3: other guy, James O'Neill. Then there was Keisha Suwell, and
- 48:39Speaker 3: there was Eddie was that the policemanier, Eddie Corone, Eddie Cardell.
- 48:44Speaker 3: I can't even remember them all. Then there was who's
- 48:47Speaker 3: that guy for about six months ex fed guy, nice
- 48:52Speaker 3: guy McDermott whatever, No, not McDermott, Donnelly. He was a
- 48:56Speaker 3: very nice guy, but then he was gone. And then
- 49:00Speaker 3: they go right from that to Jessica Tish. I think
- 49:03Speaker 3: we had like eleven commissioners in two months. It was
- 49:06Speaker 3: the worst period for the NYPD, just all these changes
- 49:10Speaker 3: going on. So anyway, the Democrats we're talking about this
- 49:14Speaker 3: before the transformation the Democratic Party has gone through. If
- 49:17Speaker 3: you went back in, you know, ten years ago, it
- 49:21Speaker 3: was like Bill Clinton type Democrats. You know, we have
- 49:24Speaker 3: a kind of a liberal policy on taxes, on this,
- 49:29Speaker 3: on that. It went from that to totally insane, off
- 49:32Speaker 3: the wall crazy. They'll defend the National Guard shooter, They'll
- 49:37Speaker 3: defend the drug cartel boats. They'll defend illegal criminals all
- 49:41Speaker 3: over New York. You illegal aliens, the gang members, rapist
- 49:46Speaker 3: they'll defend that. I mean, just crazy. And as we said,
- 49:50Speaker 3: part of the problem is the colleges went crazy over
- 49:53Speaker 3: the decades, going so far to the kooky socialist left.
- 49:57Speaker 3: They became in doctrination camps for these socialist I mean.
- 50:00Speaker 3: The other factor was the Biden deministration of the Democrats.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Democrats have been doing this for years, but the Biden
- 50:08Speaker 3: wmistration really went crazy, letting in tens of millions of
- 50:12Speaker 3: illegals Third World all that tens of millions of illegals.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Because their research showed that these people would vote nine
- 50:20Speaker 3: out of ten would vote Democratic. So if you let
- 50:22Speaker 3: in twenty thirty million of them, you can change the elections.
- 50:25Speaker 3: There'll be all these new Democratic voters. That was the plan,
- 50:30Speaker 3: but like most democratic things, it backfired on them entirely because, yeah,
- 50:34Speaker 3: they will vote democratic, but not for establishment Democrats. Chuck
- 50:38Speaker 3: Schumer looks like an old dinosaur to them. They'll vote
- 50:41Speaker 3: for third world left wing kook type Mamdani types. They're
- 50:45Speaker 3: not going to vote for Kristen Gillibrand, they're not going
- 50:47Speaker 3: to vote for Bill Clinton. They're not going to vote
- 50:50Speaker 3: for any of these old fossils. They're going to vote
- 50:52Speaker 3: for a whole new breed of left wing crazy Democrats. Hey,
- 50:55Speaker 3: Miranda Divine will be with us in a few moments.
- 50:58Speaker 3: We'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three to two
- 51:00Speaker 3: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 51:04Speaker 3: two one zero seven ten.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Here's more, Mark Simone on seven gen WR.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Let's take some calls. Let's go to Jim in Southbury, Connecticut. Jim,
- 51:16Speaker 3: how you doing.
- 51:18Speaker 5: I'm doing pretty good much.
- 51:19Speaker 11: I hope you are too.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Am I like Southbury.
- 51:22Speaker 5: I've never called a talk show host or a talk show.
- 51:24Speaker 3: We can tell Southberry is very nice. I love Southberry.
- 51:29Speaker 3: It's better we both talk at the same time. Safe time,
- 51:31Speaker 3: speed things up. No, I said, I love Southbury. It's
- 51:33Speaker 3: a very nice place. The middle of nowhere. But it's
- 51:35Speaker 3: very nice there.
- 51:37Speaker 5: Kind of that, you know, and the great job that
- 51:40Speaker 5: you do. I look forward to listen to you every
- 51:41Speaker 5: day on wo R and it's really a highlight of
- 51:45Speaker 5: my morning. And I want you want to call him?
- 51:46Speaker 11: Thank you?
- 51:47Speaker 3: Well, thank you. Of course, if you're in Southburry, I
- 51:49Speaker 3: imagine this would be the highlight of you. But how
- 51:51Speaker 3: long you lived in Southbury?
- 51:55Speaker 5: Very true?
- 51:55Speaker 3: Yeah, No, it's very nice. I got a lot of
- 51:57Speaker 3: great restaurants. You got Mercado, you got Mixed Prime.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Well, yeah, Marcarlo, Yes, I was just there the other night.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I know my way around south very it's very
- 52:04Speaker 3: nice there. That's uh. And it's convenient. It's only like
- 52:07Speaker 3: seven hours from civilization, but it's a very nice place.
- 52:09Speaker 5: Exactly. It's an hour and twenty minutes from the city
- 52:12Speaker 5: and so on.
- 52:12Speaker 3: Sournes. Let's have an I want to see if you
- 52:19Speaker 3: can get here in an hour and twenty minutes from there.
- 52:23Speaker 5: Oh easy, easy, Mark, easy.
- 52:25Speaker 3: All right, Jim, Well good call. Oh yeah.
- 52:27Speaker 5: The last thing I wanted to say was I also
- 52:29Speaker 5: enjoyed the conversations you had with Vincent.
- 52:32Speaker 3: Well, uh, guess what we're going to go to Vincent. Next,
- 52:36Speaker 3: you were the opening act for Vincent. Jim, good call,
- 52:39Speaker 3: thanks for checking in with us. Let's go to Vincent
- 52:42Speaker 3: and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 52:44Speaker 10: Good morning, Mark, Mark, I'm okay. I hope you had
- 52:46Speaker 10: a I know you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Mark. President
- 52:51Speaker 10: Donald Trump said he's going to end the invasion from
- 52:54Speaker 10: the third world COUNTRYWIDS. He says, these asshole countries which
- 53:00Speaker 10: bringing us all these terrors. Let's tell things like it
- 53:02Speaker 10: is in order for him to do that, and please
- 53:05Speaker 10: plesident from I know you talked to mister Simone. I
- 53:09Speaker 10: know you listen to his podcast. Now that you have
- 53:13Speaker 10: all three branches of government overturned repeal the Heartseller Act
- 53:20Speaker 10: of nineteen sixty four, which reversed the previous immigration standards,
- 53:27Speaker 10: if I may say briefly, is now we take eighty
- 53:31Speaker 10: five percent of our new applicant for immigration from the
- 53:35Speaker 10: third World, whereas and fifteen percent from the countries we
- 53:40Speaker 10: used to like England, the British Childs, France, Italy and
- 53:44Speaker 10: Northern Europe. Now we take it from all the welfare countries.
- 53:48Speaker 11: Mark. I don't know what I could do about Bondami,
- 53:52Speaker 11: but about thirty years ago, somebody put a bad hurting
- 53:55Speaker 11: on me.
- 53:57Speaker 3: You mean, what what do you mean?
- 53:59Speaker 11: Well, I'm not at liberty to speak more, but I
- 54:05Speaker 11: will say this. So when I got myself together about
- 54:08Speaker 11: two days later, went I, this applies to this terrorist.
- 54:13Speaker 11: He's never going to be able to go out in
- 54:15Speaker 11: the yard with the general population. He's going to stay
- 54:19Speaker 11: in solitary confinement until they execute him. So I went
- 54:23Speaker 11: to my cousin, who was the godfather of the neighborhood.
- 54:27Speaker 11: I said, I went into the nightclub where he was.
- 54:30Speaker 11: We went in the kitchen. He threw everybody out of
- 54:33Speaker 11: the kitchen, and I said, Cousin, Frankie, I said, such
- 54:37Speaker 11: and such happened to me. Baba Bye, he heard about it.
- 54:41Speaker 11: He said, yeah, kid, he says, what do you want?
- 54:44Speaker 11: I said, Frankie. I said, it's rumored that he's going
- 54:48Speaker 11: to federal lock up. That he had signing that he
- 54:52Speaker 11: had to turn himself into the marshalls two days ago,
- 54:55Speaker 11: and that's why he did the move on me. I said, Cousin,
- 54:59Speaker 11: he's room to go to this federal prison in Jersey.
- 55:03Speaker 11: I said, Frankie, who do we know.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Now, vicit We don't want to hear all the gory details.
- 55:09Speaker 11: Do we know who's currently serving time.
- 55:13Speaker 3: In that prisons can happen?
- 55:15Speaker 11: And he said, Vince, he said, get back to me
- 55:18Speaker 11: for in a couple of days.
- 55:20Speaker 3: I'll da wait. We better not go through the details.
- 55:23Speaker 3: But it's like Henry said, and goodfellows to his wife prison.
- 55:26Speaker 3: They could do even more to me there. I'm not
- 55:28Speaker 3: safe there either, So that kind of.
- 55:30Speaker 11: Deal, I asked, And shortly thereafter he found out this
- 55:36Speaker 11: was a renegade crew. There were a bunch of young Turks.
- 55:38Speaker 11: They were making a move and I had he found
- 55:41Speaker 11: out who was what prison.
- 55:44Speaker 3: We don't want to we don't want to implicate you
- 55:46Speaker 3: in anything.
- 55:46Speaker 11: And and miss Stewart from South Carolina, I'll tell you
- 55:52Speaker 11: Mondommie's never gonna not Mondamie. This terrorist is never gonna
- 55:56Speaker 11: be That was the fortieth list.
- 55:57Speaker 3: No, I understand, but Vincent, we gotta go do the news.
- 56:00Speaker 3: But good story. We don't want to hear the gory details.
- 56:03Speaker 3: But thanks a lot, next time, next time. All right,
- 56:05Speaker 3: we got to go because we got to do the news.
- 56:07Speaker 3: And then Miranda Divine will be with us next on
- 56:09Speaker 3: seven to ten.

- 56:14Speaker 6: set in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and
- 56:17Speaker 6: his podcast. Now back to the Mark Simone Show on
- 56:21Speaker 6: wor Well.
- 56:23Speaker 3: The great columnist Miranda Divine. You should read her column
- 56:27Speaker 3: in The New York Post. Also get her best selling books.
- 56:29Speaker 3: The latest one is The Big Guy. There's no better
- 56:31Speaker 3: book on Joe Biden Hunter Biden. You love it, big bestseller,
- 56:36Speaker 3: The Big Guy. And make sure you listen to a podcast.
- 56:38Speaker 3: It's become one of the top podcasts in the world.
- 56:41Speaker 3: It's called pod Force one all sorts of great guests,
- 56:45Speaker 3: including Donald Trump. You can listen to that wherever you
- 56:47Speaker 3: get your podcasts. And she's with us now, Miranda Divine.
- 56:50Speaker 16: How you doing, Hi, Mark, I'm doing really well. Happy
- 56:54Speaker 16: belated Thanksgiving to you.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Yes, I missed our Thanksgiving dinner, but I assume let
- 56:59Speaker 3: me get actually had turkey.
- 57:02Speaker 11: Yes, thank you.
- 57:04Speaker 3: Look at that. I'm like esp so, hey, your column
- 57:08Speaker 3: today quite a column about Cash Patel. I mean, he's
- 57:11Speaker 3: a nice guy. I like him, but he's obviously not
- 57:14Speaker 3: Jack Welch when it comes to running an organization, is he.
- 57:19Speaker 7: Well?
- 57:19Speaker 16: Look, this is kind of that unfortunate medicine that sometimes
- 57:25Speaker 16: has to be doled out to friends. And this is
- 57:29Speaker 16: from friends, really people who wanted Cash Pattel to succeed.
- 57:34Speaker 16: These seasoned FBI people, insiders, people serving, and also retired
- 57:44Speaker 16: high level operational people who you know I've talked to previously.
- 57:49Speaker 16: They've done reports on the FBI and how it's going,
- 57:52Speaker 16: and it's been very unflattering under Christopher Ray. But they've
- 57:56Speaker 16: just done one on the first six months of Cash
- 57:59Speaker 16: Pattel's direction to ship and it's also unflattering. And you
- 58:04Speaker 16: know it's there are various criticisms saying that it's rudderless
- 58:08Speaker 16: and that it's just you know, Cash Btelli's in over
- 58:13Speaker 16: his head and ought to listen, I think to these
- 58:18Speaker 16: critics who are on his side. I think he and
- 58:24Speaker 16: Dan Bongino, his deputy, are very thin skinned. They I
- 58:28Speaker 16: know personally they don't take kindly to criticism, but they
- 58:33Speaker 16: ought to listen to it because you know, they are
- 58:37Speaker 16: in several cases going down the wrong track. In some
- 58:42Speaker 16: cases they've done well, like this report from this alliance
- 58:46Speaker 16: of FBI people both serving and forma says praises them
- 58:54Speaker 16: for things like eradicating de or you certainly getting rid
- 58:59Speaker 16: of a lot of d I waste of time, policies,
- 59:03Speaker 16: but you know, they also are pushing against a very
- 59:10Speaker 16: difficult resistance inside the FBI, which has been staffed with
- 59:15Speaker 16: a lot of lefties in recent times. This report actually
- 59:19Speaker 16: reveals that a lot of ex teachers were recruited who
- 59:23Speaker 16: are left leaning, and that the television sets in FBI
- 59:27Speaker 16: field officers are tuned permanently into either ms NBC Now
- 59:34Speaker 16: in this Now, and CNN, but never to Fox News.
- 59:39Speaker 3: That's not a good sign. What happened to old fashioned
- 59:43Speaker 3: FBI agent who generally was a conservative type of guy,
- 59:46Speaker 3: a law enforcement guy. I guess they're do we blame Comy?
- 59:51Speaker 3: His years really kind of just destroyed and transformed the
- 59:55Speaker 3: FBI in the worst possible way.
- 59:58Speaker 16: What I'm told by these guys that it actually predates
- 1:00:03Speaker 16: the rot predates Comy even under Muller. For whatever reason,
- 1:00:08Speaker 16: he decided that he wanted to recruit more university graduates,
- 1:00:13Speaker 16: and that was when the Woks started creeping in. And
- 1:00:17Speaker 16: you know, then under Comy things got even worse. And
- 1:00:22Speaker 16: this obsession with DEI really and wopifying the place really
- 1:00:28Speaker 16: gummed up the works, and a lot of good people
- 1:00:32Speaker 16: who had been honorable and upright people just basically quit,
- 1:00:39Speaker 16: they took early retirement, or they just retired out. And
- 1:00:42Speaker 16: so you know, I mean, no one would envy Cash
- 1:00:46Speaker 16: Bottel and Dan Longino for the FBI that they've inherited.
- 1:00:51Speaker 16: But you know, it's already difficult enough to affect change
- 1:00:56Speaker 16: and fix the corruption in that organization without you know,
- 1:01:02Speaker 16: having a whole lot of unthrift errors. And some of
- 1:01:05Speaker 16: the criticisms that are made from the inside are actually
- 1:01:10Speaker 16: evident from the outside. You know, their obsession with social media.
- 1:01:18Speaker 16: One of one source in this report says they need
- 1:01:21Speaker 16: to stop talking, stop posing, just be professional, and others
- 1:01:25Speaker 16: said they are spending too much time on social media
- 1:01:29Speaker 16: and public relations and are too often concerned with building
- 1:01:33Speaker 16: on this resume. So, you know, it didn't even go
- 1:01:37Speaker 16: into the stories about Cash Battel over using the FBI
- 1:01:43Speaker 16: jet and other criticisms that have been made in you know,
- 1:01:48Speaker 16: the New York Times and places that you would expect
- 1:01:51Speaker 16: to have negativity. This is really just a couple of
- 1:01:54Speaker 16: anecdotes to show that Cash Btell in particular is just
- 1:02:00Speaker 16: not handling this properly and seems to be in over
- 1:02:04Speaker 16: his head. So it's not about trying to get rid
- 1:02:07Speaker 16: of Cash Pttel. It's about saying to him, sort of
- 1:02:10Speaker 16: shaking him and saying, look, behave a little bit differently.
- 1:02:16Speaker 16: Listen to your people who are trying to help, who
- 1:02:19Speaker 16: have a lot of experience, and you might not make
- 1:02:22Speaker 16: these blunders.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: Yeah, well, it's interesting stuff. Read the column. It's in
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Today's New York Post. It's up on the New York
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Post website. Hey, Miranda Devine, we talked about this last time,
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Trump derangement syndrome, and since then a bunch of psychiatrists
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: psychotherapists have written articles. It's kind of what you said,
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: this raging hatred for Donald Trump. I mean, if you
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: don't like him, it's fine, But the raging hatred, it's
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: more about you than about Donald Trump, the person who
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: has it, and it's revealing something inside, right, some something
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: that's it says more about the person than about Donald Trump.
- 1:03:00Speaker 16: You think, yes, I agree. In fact, Jonathan Alpert, who's
- 1:03:06Speaker 16: the psychiatrist who wrote a piece in the Wall Street
- 1:03:08Speaker 16: Journal last week, he's contacted me and we're probably going
- 1:03:15Speaker 16: to do something together on this because he's saying, well,
- 1:03:20Speaker 16: you know, he's seen so many patients that have brought
- 1:03:26Speaker 16: Donald Trump into therapy to you know, he says their
- 1:03:31Speaker 16: distress is real, and it aligns with sort of obsessive
- 1:03:37Speaker 16: compulsive disorders. They have persistent intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation, impaired functioning,
- 1:03:45Speaker 16: sleepless nights, compulsive news checking, physical agitation. They can't stop
- 1:03:51Speaker 16: thinking about Donald Trump even when they try. They interpret
- 1:03:55Speaker 16: his every move is a threat to democracy and to
- 1:03:57Speaker 16: their own safety and control. Like, I mean, this sounds
- 1:04:02Speaker 16: really sick. And I wonder, actually, and I'm going to
- 1:04:06Speaker 16: ask him about this. I wonder if people are not
- 1:04:10Speaker 16: getting this almost deliberately implanted. I know, this sounds crazy
- 1:04:16Speaker 16: by their therapists, because I find, in my experience a
- 1:04:20Speaker 16: lot of people who have therapy it doesn't seem to
- 1:04:24Speaker 16: make them better or happier or less anxious, because if
- 1:04:28Speaker 16: it did that, then they would stop going and therapy
- 1:04:32Speaker 16: would then lose a customer. So I feel like maybe
- 1:04:36Speaker 16: therapists and a lot that I've seen are Trump deranged
- 1:04:40Speaker 16: or anti Trump. So maybe, you know, they need to
- 1:04:44Speaker 16: heal themselves before they can heal their customers. And you know,
- 1:04:50Speaker 16: Roseanne Rosie o'donald, she said at one point in one
- 1:04:55Speaker 16: of her silly social media posts about Trump. She said
- 1:04:58Speaker 16: that her therapist said maybe you should just like stop
- 1:05:02Speaker 16: thinking about him such and Rosie was furious with.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: A therapist, Well, it is a little crazy. Hey, Your podcast,
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: Podforce one is excellent. Everybody should listen to. Go listen
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: to every episode of Podforce one. You'll love it. Who's
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: on the next episode.
- 1:05:21Speaker 16: Thanks very much, Mike. On Wednesday, we have Senator Ron Johnson,
- 1:05:25Speaker 16: who is one of Congress's most ferocious investigators. He is
- 1:05:31Speaker 16: most fixated on holding government to account. He does oversight,
- 1:05:38Speaker 16: especially of the FBI. He was the one with Senator
- 1:05:42Speaker 16: Chuck Grasley, his partner in crime, in uncovering abuses of government.
- 1:05:50Speaker 16: They did the original Hunter Biden corruption investigation that was
- 1:05:55Speaker 16: then shut down and sabotaged just Russian disinformation in twenty
- 1:06:00Speaker 16: nineteen before we've even got Doune to Biden laptop. So
- 1:06:04Speaker 16: that was when my eyes opened to how honorable those
- 1:06:07Speaker 16: two are.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: And speaking of that, get the book The Laptop from Hell.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: It's a great bestseller, and her latest book is The
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Big Guy. Get these two books. Go read her column.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: It's on the New York Post website and listen for
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: Podforst one. The new episode coming Wednesday. But listen to
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: the old episodes. You love them, Miranda Devine, great stuff,

- 1:06:56Speaker 3: There's a fight over her evidence. There's a fight over
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: what could wear the court. They wanted to bring him
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: in in the prison outfit, but he was allowed to
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: come in dressed up, and he was dressed up very stylishly.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: He's a good looking guy and fans, lots of fans
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: lined up outside the courtroom to support this guy. He's
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: an assassin shot the healthcare ceo. But if he asked,
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: these crazy left wing kooks, how could you justify it? Well,
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: the man he shot was a terrorist CEO of a
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: healthcare company. But it's bringing out even more the craziness
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: in the left wing right now. Hey, we're out of time.
