- 2:37Speaker 3: go out and celebrate, have a good time. Before we
- 2:39Speaker 3: kick off the sports segment, I want to talk about
- 2:42Speaker 3: what happened on Tuesday. Everybody knows the new president elect
- 2:47Speaker 3: is Donald J.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Trump.
- 2:49Speaker 3: He is going to be the forty seventh president, which
- 2:51Speaker 3: would make him the forty fifth and the forty seventh president.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I am a Kamala Harris supporter, but I want to
- 2:58Speaker 3: give a congratulations out to Don Trump.
- 3:01Speaker 1: He did it. He did it.
- 3:05Speaker 3: He was able to get enough votes. I mean, the
- 3:09Speaker 3: voter turnout was nowhere near what it was in twenty twenty.
- 3:12Speaker 3: In fact, he lost about three million voters and he
- 3:17Speaker 3: actually had less voters than he did the last time.
- 3:20Speaker 3: But at the same time, Kamala Harris only had like,
- 3:24Speaker 3: as of now, it was like sixty seven million. Joe
- 3:27Speaker 3: Biden had like eighty one. So I mean she lost
- 3:31Speaker 3: a lot of votes. Now, granted, she only had about
- 3:36Speaker 3: one hundred and seven days till election to do what
- 3:40Speaker 3: she needed to do for it, It's not a lot
- 3:42Speaker 3: of time. And I think everybody knows that. Also, she
- 3:46Speaker 3: really wasn't for me anyway. And I was watching, you know, obviously,
- 3:52Speaker 3: I watched everything on his side and her side. I
- 3:54Speaker 3: watched some of his rallies and clips from his rallies.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I watched of course, her rallies and interviews that she did,
- 4:01Speaker 3: podcasts and stuff. To me, I already knew who I
- 4:06Speaker 3: was voting for. I knew I was voting for her. Okay,
- 4:09Speaker 3: I would have voted for Biden too. Trump supporters, MAGA supporters,
- 4:14Speaker 3: they all were going to vote for him. Those were
- 4:16Speaker 3: not the people that the two of them need to
- 4:19Speaker 3: bring in because they already know who they have.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Okay, what you needed to do.
- 4:26Speaker 3: If you were Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, And this
- 4:29Speaker 3: goes for anybody whoever runs for the presidency.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Okay, this is for anybody that runs.
- 4:35Speaker 3: You need to lock in the independence, and you need
- 4:38Speaker 3: to lock in the people who are who are undecided. Apparently,
- 4:43Speaker 3: if she lost fourteen million votes from Joe Biden and
- 4:46Speaker 3: he lost three million votes, that's fourteen million votes. So
- 4:50Speaker 3: it's fourteen less million people going out to vote, and
- 4:54Speaker 3: that happens. But why didn't they go vote this time?
- 4:59Speaker 3: And I don't want to hear here though, Oh they
- 5:00Speaker 3: were dead people know that did not happen. There were
- 5:03Speaker 3: no dead people voting. In fact, there is a very
- 5:07Speaker 3: small amount of dead people that vote every election cycle.
- 5:11Speaker 3: It happens, but it's not in the millions. It's not
- 5:14Speaker 3: in the fourteen millions. It's just not okay, stop with
- 5:18Speaker 3: the conspiracy theories. One thing I cannot stand this is
- 5:23Speaker 3: I love Republicans and I love Democrats. I cannot stand mega.
- 5:28Speaker 3: They are ridiculously stupid with things, Okay, And if I
- 5:34Speaker 3: lose a couple followers for this, then I lose a
- 5:36Speaker 3: couple followers. But they are just straight up stupid. You
- 5:42Speaker 3: will never convince me that fourteen million people were dead.
- 5:47Speaker 1: And voted for Joe Biden.
- 5:48Speaker 3: It's just not possible. It did not happen. There was
- 5:51Speaker 3: no stolen election, and there was none. Twenty twenty was
- 5:57Speaker 3: a legitimate election. Joe Biden won. Now he won it back.
- 6:03Speaker 3: So now as a country we move forward. We cannot
- 6:08Speaker 3: dwell on the fact that he's going to be there.
- 6:11Speaker 3: We just have to realize that he is there. He's
- 6:16Speaker 3: a buffoon. He's gonna do buffoonish things. And hopefully, even
- 6:21Speaker 3: though Congress is now pretty much ran by Republicans, the
- 6:26Speaker 3: Senate and the House both are run by Republicans. Hopefully
- 6:30Speaker 3: those Republicans are not stupid enough to say you can
- 6:33Speaker 3: do what you want. You need to curb him down
- 6:36Speaker 3: a little bit. He's like a child. He is a
- 6:38Speaker 3: giant child, and we all know this, and I don't
- 6:40Speaker 3: care if you're a supporter of him or not.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You know it too.
- 6:43Speaker 3: He is a giant, walking baby. He cries about everything,
- 6:47Speaker 3: He acts stupid. He is a child, and you need
- 6:53Speaker 3: to take a child by the hand and show them
- 6:55Speaker 3: what they're doing wrong. And that is what the Republicans
- 6:59Speaker 3: and the Democrats need to get together and do, because
- 7:02Speaker 3: they don't want to destroy the country. He might not
- 7:04Speaker 3: give a shit about the country, but the Republicans and
- 7:07Speaker 3: the Democrats in there, I'm sure do. So this is
- 7:12Speaker 3: what we have to do as a people. We have
- 7:14Speaker 3: four years, yeah, two years till midterm elections, and then
- 7:17Speaker 3: you got another two years after that till we find
- 7:19Speaker 3: a new president. One good thing is there is an
- 7:22Speaker 3: endgame to this.
- 7:23Speaker 1: He will be gone in four years. We all know this.
- 7:27Speaker 3: There is no doubt about it. He will never come
- 7:29Speaker 3: back into office again, nor should he.
- 7:33Speaker 1: You served your two terms, You're done. Don't give us that.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Oh I'm gonna try to switch it so that that
- 7:40Speaker 3: I can run forever. No, first of all, you're gonna
- 7:43Speaker 3: be eighty two. You complain that Joe Biden was eighty two,
- 7:47Speaker 3: and now at that point you're gonna be eighty two.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Also, you're done. So that's it. So congratulations to Donald J. Trump.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Hopefully everything goes well, maybe we will make America great again.
- 8:00Speaker 3: I am being very optimistic about it. We'll see what happens.
- 8:05Speaker 3: But like I said, I'm done with this now. Obviously
- 8:09Speaker 3: this show is not about politics, so I just wanted
- 8:12Speaker 3: to throw that out there. I wanted to talk to
- 8:14Speaker 3: the people of America. I want to talk to the
- 8:16Speaker 3: people of the world. It's time for us to all
- 8:19Speaker 3: get together and unite and really try to make America great,
- 8:22Speaker 3: not because of him, just because of us. But we
- 8:27Speaker 3: need to find a way to make the Bears great
- 8:29Speaker 3: again if you're a Chicago fan. That's the important thing. Now,
- 8:33Speaker 3: now that the election is all over with, how can
- 8:35Speaker 3: we make the Bears a great again?
- 8:36Speaker 1: Let's figure it out, all right, Let's.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Go into NFL news and look at everything that went on.
- 8:43Speaker 3: First off, let's look at my fantasy from last week,
- 8:47Speaker 3: my picks. I went nine and six last week.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It's not horrible, not horrible.
- 8:56Speaker 3: And so far for the season, I'm at eighty two
- 9:00Speaker 3: and fifty six, so I'm well above five hundred right now.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I'm well above five hundred.
- 9:04Speaker 1: If I were a.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Baseball team right now, I'd be good. I'd be like
- 9:08Speaker 3: first place in the division, maybe even in Major League Baseball.
- 9:11Speaker 3: So let's go into this and see what I did
- 9:15Speaker 3: last week. In Week nine, Texans lost to the Jets.
- 9:20Speaker 3: I was not picking that. I was shocked by that one.
- 9:22Speaker 3: That was Thursday Night Football Sunday. We had the Buffalo
- 9:27Speaker 3: Bills over Miami Dolphins. We had the Baltimore Ravens over
- 9:31Speaker 3: the Denver Broncos forty one to ten, and the Atlanta
- 9:34Speaker 3: Falcons beat the Cowboys twenty seven to one, Bengals over
- 9:39Speaker 3: the Vegas Raiders. I picked all four of those, and
- 9:42Speaker 3: then I lost these ones. The Browns lost to the Chargers,
- 9:46Speaker 3: which I picked the Chargers. Obviously, I was not picking
- 9:50Speaker 3: the Browns in that one. Oh No, I did pick
- 9:52Speaker 3: the Browns in that one. I thought maybe they would
- 9:55Speaker 3: ride high off of that and go and beat the Chargers,
- 9:58Speaker 3: but that didn't happen. The New England Patriots, I picked
- 10:02Speaker 3: them to be Tennessee Tennessee one, twenty to seventeen. I
- 10:05Speaker 3: picked the Commanders over the Giants. They won twenty seven
- 10:08Speaker 3: twenty two. I did not pick this one right. The
- 10:12Speaker 3: Carolina Panthers won by a point over the New Orleans Saints.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Didn't see that coming. Bears loss of the Cardinals. We
- 10:19Speaker 3: talked about that twenty nine to nine on the Monday Show.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Bears need to turnaround this weekend. Philadelphia won twenty eight
- 10:27Speaker 3: to twenty three over the Jaguars.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I picked that one.
- 10:30Speaker 3: I picked the Rams over the Seahawks. That was twenty
- 10:32Speaker 3: six twenty. I picked the Lions over the Packers twenty
- 10:36Speaker 3: four to fourteen. Go Lions. I picked Indianapolis to win
- 10:40Speaker 3: over Minnesota, but Minnesota won twenty one.
- 10:43Speaker 1: To thirteen on Thursday Night Football, and then Monday Night Football.
- 10:47Speaker 3: I won that one, picking the Kansas City Chiefs to
- 10:50Speaker 3: go eight to no and they did it over Tampa
- 10:53Speaker 3: Bay thirty to twenty four. So here is my picks
- 10:57Speaker 3: for this week.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Week ten.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Kicks off tonight Thursday Night Football. Cincinnati Bengals at four
- 11:06Speaker 3: and five versus the six and three Baltimore Ravens. I
- 11:09Speaker 3: took the Bengals, and that one has an upset. The
- 11:13Speaker 3: Giants and Panthers. I took the Giants. This is like
- 11:16Speaker 3: the shit show right here. The Giants and the Panthers
- 11:19Speaker 3: both two and seven, both really bad. But I picked
- 11:23Speaker 3: the Giants to win that one. That's probably an end
- 11:25Speaker 3: in a tie. And then, oh my god, that's an
- 11:30Speaker 3: eight thirty am. That's the one in Germany. Oh good lord,
- 11:35Speaker 3: poor Germany. Oh that's terrible. Why would we give them
- 11:38Speaker 3: a game like that? Why did they even think the
- 11:40Speaker 3: Panthers would be worthy of that game?
- 11:42Speaker 1: That's horrible.
- 11:43Speaker 3: The Panthers showed nothing last year. All right, Well, I
- 11:48Speaker 3: guess Germany, that could be World War three with that one.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Let's see, I would move over them. Chicago Bears and
- 11:54Speaker 3: the New England Patriots. I got the Bears winning in
- 11:57Speaker 3: that one. Buffalo Bills Indianapolis Colts. I've got the Bills
- 12:02Speaker 3: winning that. I got Kansas City going nine to zero
- 12:05Speaker 3: beating the Denver Broncos. I've got Atlanta Falcons beating the
- 12:11Speaker 3: New Orleans Saints. I've got the San Francisco forty nine
- 12:15Speaker 3: Ers over Tampa Bay, especially if McCaffrey starts. If he starts,
- 12:21Speaker 3: he's gonna try to go off in that one. I
- 12:23Speaker 3: got the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Washington Commanders. I got
- 12:26Speaker 3: Pittsburgh in that one. I got Minnesota over Jacksonville. I've
- 12:30Speaker 3: got the Chargers over the Titans. I've got Philadelphia over Dallas.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I've got the Arizona Cardinals over the Jets. I've got
- 12:39Speaker 3: the Detroit Lions over the Houston Texans on Sunday Night football,
- 12:45Speaker 3: and then of course Monday Night football.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I've got the Rams over the Dolphins.
- 12:51Speaker 3: So we'll see what we do. That's all we can
- 12:54Speaker 3: do right there. Little football talk really quick, A little
- 13:00Speaker 3: bit of football talk with the Chicago Bears right now
- 13:02Speaker 3: before we go into the rankings.
- 13:07Speaker 1: We really need.
- 13:08Speaker 3: If you're a Bears fan, I think you all know this.
- 13:10Speaker 3: We definitely need this win going into the game against
- 13:13Speaker 3: the Green Bay After the Patriots this week, we start
- 13:17Speaker 3: out of six out of eight games starting next week
- 13:20Speaker 3: against our division. We've got green Bay, Detroit, and Minnesota. Okay,
- 13:26Speaker 3: actually I think it's green Bay, Minnesota and then Detroit
- 13:29Speaker 3: because we play them on Thanksgiving Day, which is still
- 13:34Speaker 3: three weeks away from now. So yeah, we have three
- 13:39Speaker 3: division games in a row and all who are better
- 13:43Speaker 3: than us right now.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So yes, we definitely need to win this game. Now.
- 13:48Speaker 3: If we win this game, I mean we have a
- 13:50Speaker 3: shot at green Bay.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Green Bay right now.
- 13:56Speaker 3: So the NFC North right now, for all these right now,
- 14:00Speaker 3: you got the Lions at seven and one, you got
- 14:02Speaker 3: the Vikings at six and two, and you got.
- 14:04Speaker 1: The Packers at six and three.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Packers are on there by week this week, so if
- 14:08Speaker 3: the Vikings lose, then technically they would be six and three.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Now they got the Jaguars, they should be able to
- 14:15Speaker 3: beat the Jaguars. So far, our entire divisions beating the
- 14:18Speaker 3: Jaguars well two out of the four because I don't
- 14:21Speaker 3: think Detroit played them yet.
- 14:23Speaker 1: But yeah, we beat.
- 14:25Speaker 3: The Jaguars in England and now green Bay beat them two,
- 14:30Speaker 3: but that was a close one. They almost beat the Packers.
- 14:34Speaker 3: We routed them. But the Packers are only six and
- 14:37Speaker 3: three right now, so being out of bye week, they
- 14:41Speaker 3: have the week to rest.
- 14:42Speaker 1: But we play against New England.
- 14:44Speaker 3: If we can come out and really have a good
- 14:47Speaker 3: showing in that one and get confidence building up playing
- 14:50Speaker 3: green Bay next week, and green Bay is coming here
- 14:52Speaker 3: to Chicago, we play them on their turf at the
- 14:56Speaker 3: last game of the season again, So the fact that
- 14:59Speaker 3: we could go five and four with them six and three,
- 15:03Speaker 3: we're right there.
- 15:05Speaker 1: In the division.
- 15:06Speaker 3: The thing is, if we win this week and go
- 15:09Speaker 3: five and four, and then we beat the Packers next week,
- 15:12Speaker 3: we will be above the Packers because we will be
- 15:17Speaker 3: they'll be We'll be five, and we'll be six and four,
- 15:21Speaker 3: and they will be six and four if they lose thus,
- 15:25Speaker 3: so we'll be right there with them. If the Vikings
- 15:27Speaker 3: are six and four and the Bears are six and four,
- 15:30Speaker 3: I'm telling.
- 15:31Speaker 1: You now, it's gonna look good.
- 15:32Speaker 3: I don't know when the Vikings have their bye week, obviously,
- 15:37Speaker 3: I think they had theirs already. Wait, they're six and two, yeah,
- 15:40Speaker 3: because they're eight games in Lions, Vikings.
- 15:43Speaker 1: And Bears all had their bye week.
- 15:48Speaker 3: But yeah, I mean it's gonna be a good stand
- 15:52Speaker 3: It's gonna be good standings for the Bears. If they
- 15:54Speaker 3: could do this, they need to so they need to
- 15:58Speaker 3: win this. So yeah, like theirs in week six. I
- 16:01Speaker 3: did tell my co workers yesterday when we were talking
- 16:04Speaker 3: about the Bears at work, I told them, we need
- 16:08Speaker 3: to have a route game this weekend. Basically, we need
- 16:12Speaker 3: to go in there and just knock their their asses
- 16:16Speaker 3: out like the Patriots.
- 16:17Speaker 1: That's what we need to do.
- 16:19Speaker 3: We need Kleb to go up to Waldron and say, look,
- 16:23Speaker 3: I'm taking over the offense. Now, you give me a
- 16:26Speaker 3: few plays. I picked the play that I feels best.
- 16:29Speaker 3: If I don't like it, I audible. I'm taking over
- 16:32Speaker 3: this team. I'm the captain, I'm the quarterback. I'm taking
- 16:35Speaker 3: over that offense. You can give me a couple of plays.
- 16:38Speaker 3: If I like them, I'll use them. If I don't,
- 16:40Speaker 3: I'm gonna use something else. That's just how it's gonna be.
- 16:43Speaker 3: We're not gonna We're gonna do no huddles pretty much
- 16:46Speaker 3: the entire game. I'm only gonna stop what I need to.
- 16:50Speaker 3: But Otherwise, I'm gonna keep that defense on their toes
- 16:53Speaker 3: because the more you wear out of defense, the better
- 16:57Speaker 3: chance you have of winning.
- 16:58Speaker 1: This is what teams do to the Bears. They get a.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Lot of three and outs and that keeps the defense
- 17:04Speaker 3: on the field. Eventually, that defense gets tired. So what happens.
- 17:08Speaker 1: But even with no.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Huddles, you're gonna say, well, you won't take a lot
- 17:11Speaker 3: of time.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Off the clock.
- 17:11Speaker 3: It doesn't matter because you're gonna wear the defense out.
- 17:14Speaker 3: If they are constantly moving and never resting, they're going
- 17:18Speaker 3: to have to take timeouts.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Guys are gonna get hurt. You know.
- 17:22Speaker 3: During those timeouts, you can do your huddle. First downs,
- 17:26Speaker 3: you can do a huddle and then rush to the
- 17:29Speaker 3: line for everything else, timeouts, injury, timeouts, all that. You
- 17:33Speaker 3: have plenty of time to stop here and there. But
- 17:36Speaker 3: keep that defense on their toes and you're going to
- 17:39Speaker 3: score and do it every week. If it works this week,
- 17:43Speaker 3: do it next week. Do it to the Packers. Then
- 17:46Speaker 3: try it again with the Vikings, then try it again
- 17:48Speaker 3: with the Lions. Who knows, maybe we win four in
- 17:51Speaker 3: a row. You don't know what's gonna happen till it happens.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Here's the power rankings for the NFL Saints at number
- 17:58Speaker 3: thirty two, down three nine spots.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Wow.
- 18:01Speaker 3: They dropped nine spots on this one. This is the
- 18:04Speaker 3: PFT power rankings. I use different power rankings every week
- 18:07Speaker 3: just to see where everybody else is. Panthers are plus
- 18:11Speaker 3: one man. They win one game and they beat the
- 18:13Speaker 3: same Saints go behind them and the Panthers go up
- 18:16Speaker 3: one to thirty one.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Wow.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Patriots dropped five places to number thirty. Titans draw went
- 18:23Speaker 3: up two places the number twenty nine. The Raiders went
- 18:26Speaker 3: up one spot to twenty eight. The Giants went up
- 18:29Speaker 3: one space to twenty seven. Jaguars went up one to
- 18:33Speaker 3: twenty six. The Dolphins went up one to twenty five.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Brown stayed the same at twenty four. Cowboys dropped two
- 18:39Speaker 3: to twenty three, The Jets drop went up eight to
- 18:43Speaker 3: twenty two. The Colts drop two to twenty one. The
- 18:48Speaker 3: Bears dropped three to twenty Seahawks dropped three to nineteen.
- 18:53Speaker 3: The Bengals went up four spots to number eighteen. The
- 18:57Speaker 3: Buccaneers went up down two spot seventeen. The Rams went
- 19:03Speaker 3: to number sixteen, up four spots. The Broncos dropped two
- 19:06Speaker 3: spots to fifteen. The Chargers went up four spots to
- 19:09Speaker 3: number fourteen forty nine, Ers or one down one spot
- 19:15Speaker 3: to thirteen. Cardinals went up two spots number twelve. The
- 19:21Speaker 3: Texans dropped six spots number eleven. Falcons went up one
- 19:25Speaker 3: spot to ten, The Packers dropped six spots number nine,
- 19:30Speaker 3: number eight, The Vikings went up two spots, Eagles went
- 19:34Speaker 3: up two spots at number seven. The Steelers went up
- 19:36Speaker 3: one spot to number six. Ravens went up one spot
- 19:39Speaker 3: to number or three spots at number three. The Commanders
- 19:42Speaker 3: won up two spots number four. The Bills went up
- 19:45Speaker 3: one spot to number three. The Chiefs are at number
- 19:48Speaker 3: two and the Lions are at number one. Some power
- 19:52Speaker 3: rankings have the Lions at two the Chiefs at one.
- 19:55Speaker 3: It really just depends. I think either one deserve it.
- 19:58Speaker 3: It's not always about your record, it's about how you play,
- 20:01Speaker 3: and the Lions have been playing. In fact, if the
- 20:05Speaker 3: Bears get second place, I'd be happy with that. I
- 20:08Speaker 3: would let the Lions stand number one. I would like
- 20:11Speaker 3: to see the Bears win a Super Bowl over the Lions,
- 20:15Speaker 3: but I don't think that would happen this year anyway,
- 20:17Speaker 3: so go Lions. I hope they As a Bears fan,
- 20:21Speaker 3: I really do hope that they go somewhere. The only
- 20:23Speaker 3: team that I really hate in our division the most
- 20:26Speaker 3: is the Packers.
- 20:27Speaker 1: And then the Vikings.
- 20:28Speaker 3: The Lions, I actually like the team. I like Dan Campbell.
- 20:31Speaker 3: I wish we could get their offensive coordinator as our
- 20:34Speaker 3: head coach next year. And I'll tell you now, he
- 20:36Speaker 3: wants to come to Chicago and he wants to be
- 20:38Speaker 3: a head coach. If eber Flus does bad this year,
- 20:41Speaker 3: I say fire or Flues and bring in, I believe
- 20:44Speaker 3: is what Ben Johnson.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Bring him in.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Sign that man, give him a blank check, tell him
- 20:49Speaker 3: to fill it out. You can have what you want.
- 20:51Speaker 3: You're coming here because we need an offensive minded coach.
- 20:54Speaker 3: And I've been saying that for decades. We need an
- 20:58Speaker 3: offensive minded coach. Our defense is gonna do what our
- 21:01Speaker 3: defense does if they have a good defensive coordinator, which
- 21:05Speaker 3: we do, our team is going to do that. Hell,
- 21:08Speaker 3: I would tell Flus like, look, if you're willing to
- 21:10Speaker 3: stay here as our defensive coordinator, you can stay in Chicago,
- 21:13Speaker 3: will be the defensive coordinator. You're just not gonna be
- 21:19Speaker 3: our head coach anymore. That's just how it is, so
- 21:23Speaker 3: we'll see what happens. But yeah, so let's move on
- 21:26Speaker 3: to the NCAA really quick. Here's the top twenty five.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Louisville is number twenty five at six and three. Vandy
- 21:33Speaker 3: is six and three at number twenty four. Pittsburgh is
- 21:37Speaker 3: number twenty three at seven and one. Kansas State is
- 21:40Speaker 3: seven and two at twenty two. Colorado is number twenty
- 21:44Speaker 3: one at six and two. Washington State is seven and
- 21:47Speaker 3: one at twenty. Clemson is six and two at number nineteen.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Army is eight to zero at number eighteen, which is
- 21:55Speaker 3: just crazy. Seventeen is Iowa State as seven and one.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Seven and two is Old miss at sixteen. Texas A
- 22:03Speaker 3: and M is seven and two at fifteen. LSU is
- 22:05Speaker 3: six and two at fourteen. SMU is eight and one
- 22:09Speaker 3: at number thirteen. Boise State is seven and one at
- 22:12Speaker 3: number twelve. Alabama is six and two, roll Tide and
- 22:16Speaker 3: number eleven. Notre Dame seven and one at number ten.
- 22:20Speaker 3: BYU is eight and oh at number nine, Indiana number
- 22:25Speaker 3: eight at nine and oh wow, Tennessee seven and one
- 22:28Speaker 3: at seven, Penn State seven.
- 22:30Speaker 1: And one at six.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Texas is seven and one at five the University of Miami,
- 22:36Speaker 3: Florida at nine and oh number four, the Ohio State
- 22:41Speaker 3: University at seven and one and number three, Georgia seven
- 22:46Speaker 3: and one at number two, and of course the Oregon
- 22:48Speaker 3: Ducks are nine and oh at number one. So I'm
- 22:54Speaker 3: gonna go into this really quick. This college football playoffs,
- 22:59Speaker 3: it's it's a different one now, So basically, I don't
- 23:08Speaker 3: it's just a it's just gonna be an elimination to
- 23:10Speaker 3: get to the national championship game.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Okay, so and it's gonna be I believe is that
- 23:17Speaker 1: during the season.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Let me look this up for people who are like
- 23:21Speaker 3: me who have no clue how this is going down,
- 23:25Speaker 3: because this.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Is brand new.
- 23:27Speaker 3: So about the twelve team NFL or the College Football
- 23:30Speaker 3: Playoff format.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Let's see.
- 23:35Speaker 3: The twelve person anticipating teams will be the five conference
- 23:38Speaker 3: champions ranked highest by the CFP Selection Committee, plus the
- 23:43Speaker 3: next seven highest ranked teams. The rankings of the teams
- 23:46Speaker 3: will continue to be done by a selection committee. The
- 23:48Speaker 3: four highest ranking conference champions will be sealed one through four,
- 23:54Speaker 3: and we'll receive a first round by the fifth. Conference
- 23:57Speaker 3: champion will be seeded where it is ranked at or
- 24:01Speaker 3: at number twelve if it is outside the top twelve rankings.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Conference champions ranked in the top four will be seated
- 24:09Speaker 3: beginning at five. Because of this, the seating one through
- 24:12Speaker 3: twelve could look different than the final rankings. The eight
- 24:15Speaker 3: team seeded.
- 24:16Speaker 1: At five and twelve.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Five through twelve will play in the first round, with
- 24:20Speaker 3: the highest seats hosting the lower seeds either on campus
- 24:23Speaker 3: or other sites designated by the higher seated institution. Number
- 24:28Speaker 3: twelve at number five, number eleven at number six, number
- 24:30Speaker 3: ten and seven, and number nine at eight. The selection
- 24:33Speaker 3: committee will assign the four highest ranked conference champions, and
- 24:37Speaker 3: they've already done this. The bracket will remain in effect
- 24:40Speaker 3: throughout the playoff. The highest seeded will receive perennial placement
- 24:44Speaker 3: for the playoff semi final bowl assignment at eleven games.
- 24:50Speaker 3: All eleven games will be under the CFP umbrella, with
- 24:54Speaker 3: the administrative policies determined by the CFP. So here is
- 24:58Speaker 3: the actual bracket it for the college football Let me see,
- 25:08Speaker 3: they already have the teams that made it. So let's
- 25:13Speaker 3: see who's here and who made it?
- 25:20Speaker 1: If my thing wants to open, alright, so.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Let's see who made it. They already announced it. A
- 25:27Speaker 3: lot of you might already know, some of.
- 25:31Speaker 1: You do, some of you don't. I just gotta wait
- 25:34Speaker 1: for this to load up, but well it does. You know.
- 25:37Speaker 3: I kind of like this. I like that they're doing this.
- 25:40Speaker 3: I think it's a lot better than just doing all bowls.
- 25:44Speaker 1: So here we go.
- 25:44Speaker 3: First round by is, Oregon, Georgia, Miami, and BYU will
- 25:49Speaker 3: all have the bye week. They will not play in
- 25:51Speaker 3: the first round. First round games is gonna be Boise
- 25:54Speaker 3: State at number five, Ohio State number eleven, Alabama at
- 25:58Speaker 3: number six, Texas number ten, Notre Dame at number seven,
- 26:02Speaker 3: Penn State number nine, Indiana at number eight tennisee. So
- 26:06Speaker 3: those games will start, soue what I believe? Let me
- 26:12Speaker 3: see when does the college football playoffs start?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Let me look that up?
- 26:23Speaker 3: Does the college football Let's see, let's see when this
- 26:33Speaker 3: is gonna start.
- 26:34Speaker 1: December.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Games will span December twentieth to January twentieth, with the
- 26:38Speaker 3: first round on December twentieth and twenty first. The national
- 26:42Speaker 3: championship game will be Monday, January twentieth, at twenty twenty
- 26:47Speaker 3: twenty five in Atlanta, oh Inauguration Day for Trumpay that
- 26:50Speaker 3: same day you watch the Trump inauguration. That'll watched the
- 26:54Speaker 3: college Football National Championship. So somebody new is gonna get
- 27:00Speaker 3: the Natty this year. It's not gonna be Michigan. It's
- 27:04Speaker 3: gonna be one of those twelve teams.
- 27:05Speaker 1: And that's what I love.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I love this, I love the way they're doing it,
- 27:09Speaker 3: and I hope this sticks and I hope it's the
- 27:10Speaker 3: thing they do every year. So let's go over the
- 27:13Speaker 3: games today. Let's see, we'll see what good games we
- 27:22Speaker 3: have this weekend. So there's none today or tomorrow, no
- 27:26Speaker 3: Thursday or Friday games that at least of these big ones.
- 27:30Speaker 3: So we're just doing like we always do, the big ones.
- 27:33Speaker 3: So let's go into that. These are the games. Saturday,
- 27:36Speaker 3: Florida at number five, Texas the University of Miami, Florida
- 27:42Speaker 3: number four versus Georgia Tech number three. Ohio State versus
- 27:46Speaker 3: Purdue number eighteen, Army in North Texas number nineteen, Clemson
- 27:50Speaker 3: in Virginia Tech number two. Georgia takes out number sixteen,
- 27:54Speaker 3: Old Miss number seventeen. Iowa State takes on Kansas. Michigan
- 27:59Speaker 3: takes out rape Indiana. I would love to give Indiana
- 28:02Speaker 3: their first loss, but I don't think that's gonna happen.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Number twenty one Colorado versus Texas Tech, South Carolina versus
- 28:11Speaker 3: number twenty four, Vandy Missouri State versus number seven, Tennessee,
- 28:17Speaker 3: Maryland versus number one, Oregon, number eleven in Alabama versus
- 28:22Speaker 3: number fourteen, LSU number ten, Notre Dame in Florida, State
- 28:27Speaker 3: number twelve, Boise State in Nevada, number twenty three, Pittsburgh
- 28:30Speaker 3: and Virginia number six, Penn State in Washington, number nine
- 28:36Speaker 3: BYU and Utah, and finally Saturday night, Utah State versus
- 28:41Speaker 3: number twenty Washington State. So we'll see what happens there.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 28:46Speaker 3: College football is actually pretty much on what's coming to
- 28:50Speaker 3: an end.
- 28:52Speaker 1: So yeah, alright, so let's move on. Baseball World Series.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Just wanted to talk about that.
- 28:57Speaker 3: The Dodgers one in four games, our four game to
- 29:00Speaker 3: one over the Yankees. It was a decent series, but
- 29:03Speaker 3: a little short. I think a series like that should
- 29:05Speaker 3: have went six or seven, but it happens. The Dodgers
- 29:09Speaker 3: were just really good. They celebrated with over two million
- 29:13Speaker 3: fans in LA, still not as many as the Cubs
- 29:16Speaker 3: had for their World Series in twenty and sixteen. So yeah,
- 29:23Speaker 3: that's the end of that. Baseball is done for now.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Free agency will start and all that, so we'll be
- 29:29Speaker 3: talking about all that for the baseball. White Sox signed
- 29:33Speaker 3: a new manager already.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Let's talk about that really quick. White Sox new manager.
- 29:46Speaker 3: White Sox officially make will Vetable new manager. I don't
- 29:51Speaker 3: know if I'm excited about this. I'll see after the
- 29:55Speaker 3: free agency and we'll see what happens. I'm not excited
- 29:58Speaker 3: about the White Sox right now. I know Bellinger staying
- 30:01Speaker 3: with the Cubs. I know a lot of cup fancited
- 30:03Speaker 3: about that.
- 30:04Speaker 1: You know, nothing.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Major there anohing major in the Hawks and Bulls news
- 30:09Speaker 3: right now. Next week we'll go over standings because we'll
- 30:12Speaker 3: be almost almost a month in so we'll do some
- 30:15Speaker 3: standings next week. With that one, Let's look at WW
- 30:21Speaker 3: Crown Jewel results and see.
- 30:26Speaker 1: What happened there.
- 30:27Speaker 3: If you watch it was a pretty decent pay per view.
- 30:32Speaker 3: It was a pretty decent one.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I actually enjoyed it. I watched it. I did for
- 30:38Speaker 1: through some of the fluff.
- 30:39Speaker 3: There were a few matches that were like, eh, they
- 30:41Speaker 3: were okay, but bloodline versus bloodline, this match went exactly
- 30:47Speaker 3: how I figured Solo got the win. That's gonna lead
- 30:51Speaker 3: into a big match. What I didn't expect was Sammy's
- 30:54Speaker 3: Ain to come in at the end and try to
- 30:57Speaker 3: help the USOS in Roman, and then he accidentally did it.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Wasn't an accident. We're gonna find out maybe tomorrow night
- 31:05Speaker 3: on SmackDown. Was that an accident that Sammy's Ain kicked
- 31:09Speaker 3: Roman in the face. I don't know, We'll see. They
- 31:14Speaker 3: both ran at Solo at the same time. Roman was
- 31:17Speaker 3: going for a spears. Sammy ended up going in for
- 31:19Speaker 3: his kick and it ended up being Uh, he.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Kicked Roman in the face? Is that set up? Was that?
- 31:29Speaker 3: You know, an accident? That's what we're gonna find out.
- 31:32Speaker 3: But the New Bloodline won that one. They gave it
- 31:34Speaker 3: a B plus for that one. Let's see tag team
- 31:39Speaker 3: titles Belair and Cargill versus Jackson and Legend versus Sky
- 31:44Speaker 3: and Zay versus.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Green and Nevin.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Winner of that one, of course, was Belair and Cargill.
- 31:49Speaker 3: I said they were gonna retain it B minus great
- 31:52Speaker 3: on that it was worth it. It was a good match.
- 31:55Speaker 3: I did fur through some of it, but I watched
- 31:57Speaker 3: most of it. Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed went exactly
- 32:00Speaker 3: how I figured Seth Rollins would win. I don't know
- 32:04Speaker 3: who I picked. I gotta start writing these down. I
- 32:07Speaker 3: forgot who.
- 32:08Speaker 1: I picked last week. It's been a busy week.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Seth Rollins and Bronson Reid. Seth Rollins won the match,
- 32:15Speaker 3: and it will set up a new one. I believe
- 32:17Speaker 3: that'll come out of it. But Bronson Reid looked strong
- 32:20Speaker 3: in the match. He was beating the crap out of
- 32:22Speaker 3: Seth for a long time. It really did look good
- 32:25Speaker 3: for him. He's definitely gonna be a main event contender.
- 32:28Speaker 3: B plus on that one. That was worth it. Live
- 32:31Speaker 3: Morgan and Naiyah Jacks for the Women's Crown Jewel Champion
- 32:37Speaker 3: and that went to Live Morgan. Of course, there was
- 32:39Speaker 3: some outside interference. Tiffy T's the cash in, Raquel Rodriguez
- 32:46Speaker 3: and Dominic showed up, of course, but at the end
- 32:49Speaker 3: Morgan defeated Jacks. They gave it a C plus. I
- 32:52Speaker 3: gave it a B minus. I thought it was good.
- 32:54Speaker 3: It was a good match. I liked all the interference
- 32:57Speaker 3: and made it better. We didn't know if Tiffy was
- 32:59Speaker 3: going to cash in or not during it, so it
- 33:02Speaker 3: was really cool.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I liked it. I thought it was good.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Randy Ordon and Kevin Owens did not even start the match.
- 33:08Speaker 3: They beat the hell out of each other all the
- 33:10Speaker 3: way through the arena, all the way up into the
- 33:13Speaker 3: stands where Kevin Owens put Randy Organ through one of
- 33:17Speaker 3: those wood tables.
- 33:18Speaker 1: It was amazing, It was cool. I loved it.
- 33:22Speaker 3: It was a great way to start out this feud
- 33:25Speaker 3: with them, to do a no contest where the match
- 33:28Speaker 3: didn't even start and let him just beat the hell
- 33:30Speaker 3: out of each other.
- 33:30Speaker 1: There will be another match. They gave it a B.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I give it an A.
- 33:34Speaker 3: I love when they do stuff like this. You don't
- 33:35Speaker 3: always need a match, just do like a beatfest for
- 33:39Speaker 3: a while.
- 33:39Speaker 1: It was great La Night.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Versus Onriday versus Carmelo, La Knight, La Night on his birthday.
- 33:47Speaker 1: One yeah, and that was a good match to me.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I gave it an A.
- 33:51Speaker 3: So did they give it an A minus. La Knight
- 33:54Speaker 3: defeated and Day and Hayes. And there will be another
- 33:58Speaker 3: meeting of these three, I believe soon. And then finally
- 34:02Speaker 3: Gunther and Cody Rhodes. That was a good one. That
- 34:04Speaker 3: was for the men's Crown Jewel Champion. I think they
- 34:09Speaker 3: gave it to the right guy. I think that they
- 34:12Speaker 3: gave it a B plus. I give it an A.
- 34:14Speaker 3: It was a great match all the way through. I
- 34:16Speaker 3: think Cody was the one that deserved it. I think
- 34:18Speaker 3: Gunther is good. He doesn't really need these kind of
- 34:21Speaker 3: matches to win. But yeah, I thought it was good
- 34:23Speaker 3: in my book, and.
- 34:24Speaker 1: I gave it an A.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Really cool So after the event was over, they took
- 34:31Speaker 3: Cody Rhoads and lived to where the new what will
- 34:35Speaker 3: be the physical Hall of Fame is in Rita, Saudi Arabia,
- 34:40Speaker 3: which was right next door to the stadium, and they
- 34:43Speaker 3: gave them a ring. So what's gonna happen with the
- 34:45Speaker 3: Crown Jewel Champions. They do not get to keep the belt.
- 34:48Speaker 3: The belt is gonna be defended every year there. That's
- 34:51Speaker 3: gonna be like the staple of Crown Jewel, which is cool.
- 34:54Speaker 3: I like that the winner gets a rate and it's
- 34:57Speaker 3: like a big super Bowl ring. It was really cool.
- 34:59Speaker 3: It was big, get huge, and it's a Crown Jewel Champion.
- 35:02Speaker 3: It was really nice. I had a lot of diamonds
- 35:04Speaker 3: in it. Really cool, nice memento for them to take
- 35:08Speaker 3: and I mean it's it sews up your Hall of
- 35:10Speaker 3: fame too. You know, you could say you were the
- 35:12Speaker 3: first ever Crown Jewel champion and.
- 35:15Speaker 1: You got a ring for it.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Everyone's gonna get a ring every year for it. That's
- 35:18Speaker 3: their memento of being the champion. The belt stays there,
- 35:22Speaker 3: and then every year it'll be defended by It'll be
- 35:25Speaker 3: not defended by the champion, it will be whoever the
- 35:28Speaker 3: current champions are when Crown Jewel comes around. So it
- 35:32Speaker 3: could be Cody and Glut the next year again, who knows.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Could be Live. It could be Live and Nya again,
- 35:38Speaker 1: who knows. I doubt it though.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Those titles will change hands. But yeah, so it'll be cool.
- 35:42Speaker 3: I liked it. It was a good one. I was
- 35:45Speaker 3: excited for it. I think the fans were excited there.
- 35:49Speaker 3: I know a lot of people don't like the whole like, oh,
- 35:51Speaker 3: it's blood money and blah blah blah.
- 35:54Speaker 1: I don't care about all that.
- 35:55Speaker 3: I think it's cool that they go there. The people
- 35:57Speaker 3: who live there, they deserve to see wrestling just like
- 35:59Speaker 3: we do. And they have the billions of dollars to
- 36:02Speaker 3: put together a big show just like some of our
- 36:04Speaker 3: area does.
- 36:05Speaker 1: So I think it's cool.
- 36:06Speaker 3: But yeah, I'm excited for it. I think everybody was
- 36:09Speaker 3: excited for it, and we'll see where it goes every year.
- 36:13Speaker 3: All right, let's do We got two more segments left.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I don't have a lot today. I'm gonna start trying
- 36:19Speaker 3: to maybe get some more entertainment stuff. Not a ton
- 36:23Speaker 3: I did want to talk about Quincy Jones really quick,
- 36:27Speaker 3: so let me pull up some stuff on him. Quincy
- 36:30Speaker 3: Jones passed away on Sunday night. Very sad. I was
- 36:36Speaker 3: very sad about that. I'm a huge Quincy Jones fan.
- 36:39Speaker 3: He has done so much for music. He was an
- 36:44Speaker 3: amazing guy. Quincy Jones was born on March fourteenth, nineteen
- 36:49Speaker 3: thirty three. Passed away November third, twenty twenty four. He
- 36:53Speaker 3: was an American record producer, songwriter, composer, and film and
- 36:57Speaker 3: television producer. He produced show Was Like the Fresh Prince
- 37:00Speaker 3: of bel Air. He won twenty eight Grammys in a
- 37:06Speaker 3: seven decade career, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Tony Award,
- 37:11Speaker 3: as well as nominations for seven Academy Awards and four
- 37:14Speaker 3: Golden Globes. That is amazing, some of the stuff that
- 37:18Speaker 3: he's done in his career. Here's hist here's a full
- 37:23Speaker 3: list of his decographies that.
- 37:25Speaker 1: He's had out. Let's see.
- 37:27Speaker 3: So for albums, I mean, there's a lot from nineteen
- 37:33Speaker 3: fifty five all the way till now. I'm not gonna
- 37:35Speaker 3: go into all the old ones because obviously people who
- 37:40Speaker 3: listen to my show grew up in like the probably
- 37:43Speaker 3: the seventies, eighties, and nineties. But he's done some great
- 37:47Speaker 3: stuff with like some great artists.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Let's see, I'm.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Trying to do ones that people would know. He's did
- 38:00Speaker 3: some awesome soundtracks. Let's see. Let me go right here,
- 38:12Speaker 3: all right, so he has done. Jones came to prominence
- 38:16Speaker 3: in the fifties as a jazz arranger and conductor, before
- 38:19Speaker 3: producing pop hit records from Leslie Gore in the early
- 38:22Speaker 3: sixties and serving as an arranger and conductor for several
- 38:26Speaker 3: collaborations between Frank Sinatra and jazz artist court count Bezi.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Jones produced three of the.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Most successful albums by pop star Michael Jackson, Off the
