- 0:00Better talk damn radio Damn straight I am samuel trap.
- 0:08This is international flavor.
- 0:11You are listening to damn radio And i'm damn glad to have you uh, i've got the sco shanghai cooperation
- 0:22Organization meeting Ended a couple of days ago and then uh, vladimir or vladimirovich putin stayed on a couple extra
- 0:31days to do some separate meetings and to join xi jingping at the uh military uh Celebration or commemorative Commemorative
- 0:47event this was actually yesterday of uh The end of world war ii from the chinese side the surrender of
- 0:56the japanese which occurred 80 years ago yesterday So those are the events of the day, but there's some bigger
- 1:07events going on as I kind of outlined in my ric review last sunday and That Is going to be
- 1:18the focus of where we go tonight and give you a little bit of history that a little bit of
- 1:22current events a little bit of looking because uh There was a rather lengthy 45 minute or so uh interview
- 1:30of vladimir vladimirovich and You know what that's It was a question and answer period i'm sorry not an interview
- 1:40He gave a brief statement and then took a bunch of questions and I kind of wanted to go into
- 1:47that um as well and But before I do that, I thought it could be useful uh If people don't
- 1:58know the state of the world affairs today To give a bit of an idea as to what?
- 2:06The shanghai cooperation organization is so um When the soviet union collapsed uh it's not like china and russia were
- 2:21the greatest of Partners let's say Because i'm not so sure that they were They worked together in some respects
- 2:32and uh, you know, they've never been At each other's throats so to speak but it's not as if the
- 2:40russians don't feel as well that uh, the next superpower is china the next If there's going to be hegemony,
- 2:50where's it going to come from?
- 2:52You know that kind of thing that uh the next likely Whatever you want to call it.
- 2:58Um heir to the throne globally dominant person is China now i'm trying to foster a little bit Not that
- 3:08I have anything to do with anything, but i'm trying to foster a Somewhat different approach what I would like
- 3:17Is a different approach and so when I get from our point of view perspective western, uh united states perspective
- 3:26because I don't really care about the others and that but before I got to that I wanted to I
- 3:32had an Two rather interesting experiences today.
- 3:37So I had a an issue with my with my truck I had to go take it into the tire
- 3:43place and get him to to look at a couple of things on the uh, I don't know technical crap
- 3:50and and all I know is it cost me money But I had to go first and drop it off
- 3:56and I took an uber uh Back to my destination and then later in the day I took an uber
- 4:02to there and it was I don't know what's going on with my transportation lately, but there's been just weird
- 4:09crap, I told you about the stuff with the the uh urban the the uber drivers in uh, lithuania I
- 4:20told you about the drunk, uh russian on the train that got sat next to me I mean, where do
- 4:26I get these?
- 4:27You know i'm sitting around going I told this story to somebody about the drunk russian and they go man.
- 4:32You got some great stories.
- 4:34Well I got some weird stories this crap.
- 4:38It's it's Why does it happen to me all the time?
- 4:42I don't understand.
- 4:43Why do I get all the weirdos?
- 4:45How come they're coming to my?
- 4:48neck of the woods and and And it's not that it caused me problems and and I find it Maybe
- 4:54maybe they come to me because I can handle that sort of thing.
- 4:58I don't know but I get weird stories but I find them to be rather I don't know call it
- 5:05educational call it.
- 5:07Uh character building.
- 5:09I don't know but but uh, uh it Also, I seem to take things in a little bit of different.
- 5:15I don't know You know people generally get mad if they maybe it's a it's a good thing that I
- 5:21find things funny most of the time And i'm not a very not that i'm not serious.
- 5:27I can be serious as much the next guy but that I don't take things too seriously, you know and
- 5:34uh, don't create Of you know world events out of crap that doesn't need to be created, but I have
- 5:40some very strong political views.
- 5:42So when I got picked up from the the the first time this morning to be taken to um, you
- 5:51know my location and and uh get my day's events going I had about a 10 minute ride with a
- 5:58guy in a nice Sort of an suv uber thing and he was from india.
- 6:04Okay and Uh, not not too extremely talkative, you know, I I got in complimented him on his car and
- 6:12said something about You know, um Um the weather I don't remember what and he he said a couple of
- 6:21things about uh, uh being from India that he you know, he liked the weather here and he was he's
- 6:28from india and had a very strong Accent turned out he was from.
- 6:34Uh Punjabi he was he was uh, yeah, he was from punjab and he says Uh, I said well, how
- 6:43do you like it here?
- 6:44How long you been here but I asked him a little bit about himself And I said, uh, how do
- 6:49you like your your uber stuff?
- 6:50He goes.
- 6:51Well, I like it and I I like what's going on and He and I said, uh something about uh
- 7:00Liking Uh, jai shankar, you know to see if he knew anything about Politics over there and about modi and
- 7:06jai shankar and that you know, their country's doing some uh, some some wonderful things over there And the guy
- 7:13really opened up When I said something about his country, I mean at first it was just going to be
- 7:20a polite little, you know Two second conversation, you know And i'll go back to you know, checking out emails
- 7:26on my phone or something and he Comes back and he says he goes.
- 7:32Yeah jai shankar.
- 7:33He says and and he goes into i'm telling you that people are people are getting on board And and
- 7:42there are people think differently and it's not just me So it's turning out i'm not as big a nut
- 7:47as I thought I was And he goes Uh that jai shankar and modi are doing things that uh look
- 7:56out for and his analysis was I think that jai shankar and especially modi they are looking out for Ow,
- 8:06he got a tiny bit defensive like it seemed like I knew something was going on because I do but
- 8:12I actually support exactly what jai shankar and modi are doing and what they are doing is Their country's interests
- 8:21come first And then they work together with the rest of the world to the extent possible But they're not
- 8:30going to do things that are not in their countries uh or in the best interest of their country and
- 8:39what he meant by that when he was talking about it was These sanctions, you know, they he thought I
- 8:45I don't know.
- 8:46I didn't say anything I just told him that I like to listen and did jai shankar and modi when
- 8:51he brought something up, you know And then was talk and I said that they were doing some good things
- 8:55in his country And and it really got him talking and he you know, he told me He spoke for
- 9:01the next six seven minutes to get me to where I was going and and told me about how uh,
- 9:06you know he thought that uh uh That they were doing the right thing as well, which is what I
- 9:13think and uh, you know I don't know how to quite Um address that but it's interesting for me to
- 9:23just get opinions of regular people.
- 9:25This is an uber driver Obviously came here at some point in his life from india from punjab And obviously
- 9:34as a family here, he talked about his wife.
- 9:36He's doing reasonably well in the car.
- 9:38He's driving, you know, he's he's you know he's got Uh, it's a nice car and you know uber driving
- 9:44is a a decent job those guys, you know, he had Um, I don't know five thousand.
- 9:51Uh, uh What do you call it?
- 9:55Uh five star Reviews it said on his little profile when I was adding my thing and and uh, And
- 10:02he was you know, he's an interesting guy.
- 10:04I mean hell of a job.
- 10:06Seriously.
- 10:07I mean, why not?
- 10:08you know talk about working for yourself and Uh, you know you drive work as much as you want or
- 10:13as you work as little as you want whatever And uh, but he gave me a very good um I
- 10:22don't know what Impression and and and he knew a little bit about his own country now He's he said
- 10:29that you know, he's been here for a little while, but I didn't get any, you know an opportunity to
- 10:33that because he was telling me about all the good things that modi and uh, Jai shankar's doing and uh,
- 10:39and I always try to get a good jai shankar one in because he's just funny to listen to because
- 10:44Everybody in the west and whenever we talk we always get, you know, scott besantid or something where he uh
- 10:53will uh Belittle anything that anyone else is doing anywhere in the world And I don't understand that approach.
- 11:02I do not understand our western approach where if you disagree with a country politically They have to they can't
- 11:13do anything, right?
- 11:15You know what?
- 11:16I mean?
- 11:16It's it's uh like over here and i've said this before that that if you I don't know if you're
- 11:23if you don't like gay people and a gay person They will hate you because you don't like gay people
- 11:29And there's nothing you can do to change that you are a bad person no matter what You know giving
- 11:37money to charity being a church person Um, I don't know what maybe even being a democrat if you're a
- 11:43democrat and you still don't like them You know that you still are a piece of dog Doo-doo on
- 11:51the ground, right?
- 11:52And there are certain people who think that way a disagreement means You're written off there is nothing good for
- 12:00you because you're written off.
- 12:02Well, I don't think that way and I don't think A lot of the world works that way, but it
- 12:08seems pretty much prevalent all over lithuania like I outlined for you last night and And in quite a few
- 12:14places in america And certainly in the ukrainian world, there's nothing good that any russian can do Period and they
- 12:24can't even have a history or cultural culture where you get to use their language So that was instance number
- 12:29one the second one on the on the uh Uber trip to go pick up my truck and give them
- 12:36a pile of money that I don't have and don't like to give away but uh Truck's running better.
- 12:43How about that?
- 12:44And uh, uh That's a positive.
- 12:47There's a you know, I don't know if it's a net positive maybe it's an eq well, it's not even
- 12:53equal because i'd probably Would I prefer to have the money or not?
- 12:57I don't know but i'm babbling so i'll get back to my point this um, uh Dude that drove me
- 13:04the second time back to the entire place he Was from haiti And he was talking about you know, there's
- 13:16been all kinds of upheaval in haiti and I didn't bring it up He brought it up.
- 13:20I was just sitting there mind.
- 13:21I'm on beeswax and he uh said a few things and and uh Said he was from haiti and said,
- 13:27uh, you know that he he some of these people I guess they get graded on talking, you know or
- 13:33get graded on conversation and some people don't want conversation So but how the hell do you know?
- 13:38I mean in all seriousness if if they start talking to you, I suppose it's your job to tell them
- 13:42you don't want to talk I don't know But or the reverse if you say something to them, maybe they're
- 13:47not supposed to talk to you I don't know.
- 13:49However, that works is how it goes, but he said something uh seems like Far more people are into world
- 13:56events, you know, because he was talking about it, too and he was talking about all of the issues going
- 14:03on in the world and how the the u.s might not be as Positive in the uh, uh In
- 14:15in the world view scene, you know and that has been more and more the conversations that i'm having both
- 14:25in the united states and out but It's really weird.
- 14:30Anyway, those are there are certainly interesting things that occurred to me today Especially the dude from india that I
- 14:36talked to you about first But it was funny to get in cars and get people that are talking to
- 14:41me It wasn't like the you know, the drunk russian the other the other day on the train that was
- 14:47pretty freaking hilarious and uh, but and and very informative and uh, gave a a good uh a good story
- 14:58to have um, but one of the guys the the Both of them mentioned The meetings going on both of
- 15:06these guys mentioned the meetings going on over the past weekend in china and the world leaders that were meeting
- 15:14over there including uh, narendra modi and including xi jingping in in according kim jong-un and Vladimir putin as
- 15:25well as many others.
- 15:26Lukashenko was there for a bit um The head of the leader of pakistan Uh, no, no Well, no, he
- 15:35may have been there too, but there's like 20 whole world leaders at this thing called the s Co Which
- 15:42is the shanghai cooperation organization, okay now I'm going to tell you a little bit about what that Actually is
- 15:54okay the origins of it the seo shanghai cooperation Organization actually started out in 1996 as the shanghai five And
- 16:05it was russia china kazakhstan kyrgyzstan And tajikistan and by the way, if you're ever interested in this the if
- 16:15you are a Person who's not From kyrgyzstan a lot of them call it kirghizia and I know this because
- 16:25i've made this mistake Having been to kirghizia a year or two ago and two years ago went to a
- 16:31sanatorium there And it was pretty cool.
- 16:33And so if you say kirghizia That is offensive to a person actually from kirghizstan You're supposed to call it
- 16:42kirghizstan and I have made that a mistake in a few times But I guess the russians for a long
- 16:48time called it kirghizi in kirghizi is that they consider it Rude, and so you got to make sure to
- 16:57call it kirghizstan Because i've made that mistake myself, but I didn't know any better, but it's been explained to
- 17:04me that that's the way it is So the purpose of the shanghai-5 starting in 1996 now remember soviet
- 17:11union collapsed We got nothing quite replacing it, but we have the bush one And uh clinton saying no.
- 17:22No, there's gonna be no nato expansion There's not you know, we're we're Russia's our friends now, you know, blah
- 17:32blah blah And I was still in the military at this point as uh out of the active duty and
- 17:37in the reserves And I remember this when the shanghai-5 came up and some of the things we talked
- 17:42about in briefings And whatnot when we were getting ready to go on Uh duty at the skiff or something
- 17:49like that And so that's when the shanghai, uh, five came up in 2001 They changed the name to And
- 17:58and founded the actual sco shanghai cooperation organization, so five years later and uzbekistan joined in And the organization was
- 18:09created formally in shanghai and their charter stressed security counter-terrorism Now there's a lot of muslim In that region
- 18:20of the world on on the russian border on the uh, uzbekistan kirghizstan Uh Well kazakhstan any of the stands
- 18:29over there azerbaijan and uh, uh the it was so there's a lot of that and there was some terrorism
- 18:36and they're right near afghanistan and Right near iran and pakistan and they have had some uh Some issues in
- 18:45that area of the world and so russia's got a pretty strong counter-terrorism as does china and they've expanded
- 18:51it into this sco foundation or the sco organization And but they do stress Counterterrorism, but one of the other
- 19:00things they stress in their charter is non-interference with other countries and respect for the sovereignty of other countries
- 19:12So that are associated in here because remember the soviet union collapsed these people didn't know where the hell they
- 19:19were going to go All the ones on the inside and there was a good amount of turmoil just because
- 19:23of that And quite a bit of independence and then the us and the west all coming in and trying
- 19:29to stir it all up and and get those people all stirred up because it uh, you know, there's been
- 19:36a pretty strong anti-russia ever since And it's gotten stronger over the years, but so has the sco so
- 19:44in 2004 They organized as part of their meeting and they've had a meeting every single year And uh, this
- 19:51one is called the regional anti-terrorist structure rats for the acronym regional anti-terrorist structure with a headquarters in
- 20:00tashkent Uh, which is beautiful and the focus on terrorism separatism and extremism and the early work of this Organization
- 20:11called for and they all share intelligence sharing and joint exercises 2017 india and pakistan both join and the shanghai
- 20:24cooperation organization becomes a true Continental forum because now they cover almost the entire tree entirety of southeast asia Because
- 20:38when you add it in pakistan and india, that's a you know, that's freaking huge, right?
- 20:44Then in 2023 six years later iran joined in So that covers almost all of them.
- 20:50There's a there's a few other ones that are not in um, belarus joined in 2024 And the sco reached
- 21:00its 10 full members that are on right now They also have several observer and dialogue partners and those are
- 21:08mongolia afghanistan Uh that happened before the taliban, but they're still They're still uh members today turkey um, and then
- 21:20they have the uh, The asian nation the states like vietnam laos maldives malaysia and indonesia that are also Observer
- 21:32and dialogue partners they they participate but they're not formal members now the core principles are multipolarity No hegemony and
- 21:43equal sovereignty Fco does not seek a block confrontation any of that Uh the practical work they counter they have
- 21:54counterterrorism brills energy rail and finance integration And then culture exchange programs so There is no defense pact like nato
- 22:08So this is structured a little bit more like an eu economic thing and they're not as universal as the
- 22:16united nations And they're mostly for eurasia and the global south They're a venue where india china and russia can
- 22:25all sit at the same Table just like bricks and one of the reasons i'm bringing this up Is coming
- 22:33up here in just a second and the 2025 Parts that they talked about this because what they did this
- 22:40year is also Extremely telling on the world stage, right?
- 22:46So in 2025 in tianjin the summit this year Xi jingping's proposals.
- 22:53These are his proposals that he put out for the entire group Uh, it was the development bank.
- 23:00They want to start a development bank Just like they have in bricks And they want to have an sco
- 23:10energy platform.
- 23:12Remember me telling you about all the uh, heavy Industry projects and energy projects and the for example russia helping
- 23:22build the nuclear power plant with six reactors in in india and So they're they're talking about all of this
- 23:31and and xi jingping's proposals included 1.4 billion in loans that china is ready to put up for this
- 23:40and something Thing Called bay and I believe i'm pronouncing it correctly.
- 23:45I've heard it said in a couple of ways, but I believe it's called beidou and beidou is it's access
- 23:51to the beidou platform and the beidou platform is uh kind of like our gps Or um You know russia's
- 24:08Um, what else would it be?
- 24:10Uh I forget what what the russian version of it is, but it's However you slice it it is a
- 24:21gps and With varying levels the same thing that ours uses global positioning satellites Not your google earth not elon
- 24:33musk The starlink or whatever it is.
- 24:36We're talking gps And what xi jinping said was that now they're going to spread this knowledge to everyone in
- 24:45the area for for commercial and uh governmental purposes, which means They can use it for they're going to have
- 24:54common Geopositioning targeting systems that all of them have access to in the entire southeast Okay, so no, it's not
- 25:06a security organization But xi jinping has has said that china is going to allow all of them access to
- 25:13their to their gps data because right now there are several major ones in the world and china has one
- 25:20us as one which Uh, most people subscribe to the us one and this is more of the hegemony thing
- 25:27But people are there we're we're going separate directions.
- 25:31You know what I mean?
- 25:32That's what's happening um, so Let's keep up on this thread here before we get to the next part.
- 25:41Um, the Attendance there were 20 leaders modi putin and xi jinping together ministers from a lot of the acn
- 25:52ministers But indonesia was absence this year due to all the protests going on I don't know if you've heard
- 25:58about that, but I tell you what it's a scary period of time for indonesia right now There have been
- 26:04some serious confrontations brought about by giving um A lot of benefit to elected and appointed governmental officials giving them
- 26:15these huge sort of benefit packages like luxury Luxury stuff here.
- 26:22They do it but here they hide it a lot better there.
- 26:25They kind of said.
- 26:26Yeah, this is what we're doing We run the government rest of you screw you looks like we get everything
- 26:32and you get nothing and The leader was in bad shape and they've been having some serious protests over there
- 26:38and pretty serious So bad that he canceled his trips and they reversed all these packages Is what I understand
- 26:45that they reversed them all now and reversed all travel for them including his own So he didn't go to
- 26:53the summit is is what uh what I found out Um Let's see for the optics.
- 26:59This is the first seo shanghai cooperation organization that included Uh belarus as a full member And the india and
- 27:08china That's a big deal, you know because it continues on from last year And xi jinping is working hard
- 27:16on this and vladimir.
- 27:17Putin is working hard on this and so is modi To signal that you can work together with people Even
- 27:27if you have areas where you disagree, why can't america learn to do that?
- 27:32I don't understand why we can't do that.
- 27:34We have to uh, I don't know call them, you know They're evil.
- 27:40Everybody's evil like besson.
- 27:42We'll get to him in a minute um, but there's some notable quotes vladimir putin he says Uh, we aren't
- 27:49thinking Of how to outplay others We're thinking of how to organize our own work I thought that was a
- 27:58great quote.
- 27:59We'll get to the question that brought that up a little bit Uh later now maria zakharova when she was
- 28:05analyzing this seo meeting that came up She said we're strengthening fair multilateralism and restoring the un's coordinating role without
- 28:18selective interpretation because one of their big complaints is that the un is always interpreted against People that aren't Uh,
- 28:28I don't know what favored In the club as it were don't kiss the rear ring or the rear end
- 28:37of the west that kind of thing so when this when I saw this shanghai cooperation organization, I immediately And
- 28:46the big meeting and how big it really was this year.
- 28:48It got me to thinking about Uh quite a bit about the bricks and quite a bit about what why
- 28:56this um keeps getting More and more People are getting much more open about talking about the multilateralism and honoring
- 29:10your own country like the indian guy that I rode with today And saying, you know, you need to ask
- 29:16for what's best for your own These are things that to normal people like most of us are Are self
- 29:23-evident, but why is it so difficult?
- 29:26For our leaders and especially in the west on the government side to what has happened to us where we
- 29:33must be dominating Everywhere, and we can't honor and respect other countries and their Notions of Fair play of what
- 29:47they wish to do.
- 29:48Why are we condemning india because they're buying gas from russia What gives us that right is my point?
- 29:57What I mean, I suppose we have the right to do anything.
- 30:00So right's not the the correct word, but what gives Who made us?
- 30:06the Arbiters, this is why I like listening to jai shankar so much because he just punches people right in
- 30:13the face with it Somebody asked him this the other day and he says look you this some commentator from
- 30:19whatever Channel he was being interviewed on and uh, jai shankar says to him.
- 30:25He says to jai shankar.
- 30:26He goes Why are you uh?
- 30:29You know, why are you buying oil from russia?
- 30:32Geez, you know russia's the bad guy and basically went off on china and you are bad people Basically is
- 30:40what he says to him and then at the end he outlines this question as if it's some kind of
- 30:45a global attack here that he's going to attack jai shankar as As you know, because jai shankar is uh,
- 30:52geez, uh in jai shankar is just the foreign minister He's not allowing his country to do anything, but he
- 30:57isn't condemning it either And so he defends his own country and and uh, so the guy asks the question
- 31:03and says why are you buying this stuff from?
- 31:06from russia and he goes He goes Who are you to ask me that question?
- 31:14Why are you asking me this he says basically it's like I mean jesus who cares Oh, you know where
- 31:22you get your oil from and what makes us including donald trump, by the way all the way up the
- 31:28line, who are we to condemn another country for Looking out for its best interests Should india be buying gas
- 31:39and oil from us at a 10 to 20 percent increase and what they're buying it from from their next
- 31:47door neighbor Uh, it's it's it's that what's supposed to be happening Is china not supposed this is why donald
- 31:57trump wants to tariff and uh sanction them as well Is because they're doing business with their neighbor This is
- 32:05what we're supposed to do.
- 32:07Um Let's get to a little bit of history here because the reason part of the reason for the expansion
- 32:14is the exact same reason and remember that china is right in on this too because this has affected Russia
- 32:22china india as well as well as all the stands that we talked about in there That the us is
- 32:28forever after that because we have to be able to control the world, right?
- 32:31We have to control it and so let's talk about because nato expansion has been You know, they're even trying
- 32:39to expand nato into like georgia, which is also southeast asia They want to expand it into azerbaijan and into
- 32:46places like that They want to impact all of these places and nato has made their efforts So let's go
- 32:52through in segment two just to remind everybody what has happened since the collapse of the soviet union, right?
- 32:59On every side of russia this has taken place 1999 After there was not going to be any expansion not
- 33:08one inch to the east poland hungary and czech republic all east all eastern europe And that's 1999 2004 five
- 33:20years later what they refer to is the big bang We have estonia latvia lithuania all three of the baltic
- 33:27states Slovakia slovenia bulgaria and romania all at the same time seven countries joining Former soviet republics, by the way
- 33:39in one way or another although, you know Some of them were part of a different country when that happened
- 33:45And then in 2009 five years later albania albania and croatia 2017 montenegro 2020 north macedonia 2023 we had finland
- 34:04With a 1300 kilometer border with russia, by the way And then 2024 we had sweden and the baltic sea
- 34:12kind of turned into apart from kaliningrad and Leningrad turned into a nato lake, you know, kind of like the
- 34:22azov sea down in the southeast Russia it touches near the black sea it comes out near the black sea
- 34:28But the azov sea is now with the crimea is now surrounded completely by russia turned it into it's not
- 34:35International waters maybe in the middle.
- 34:37I forget what the rule is something to have to do with 200 kilometers out.
- 34:41Um I could be wrong on the distance if it's 200 kilometers out Because that's all you can control of
- 34:50any body of water or something according to international I don't remember what the law actually says about that But
- 34:55but it's rather interesting because apparently if you could pick up a an aircraft carrier and place it in the
- 35:02middle of that lake You could control that lake if you could or not Patrol that lake or if you
- 35:09could get a submarine in there Or do something if you're completely surrounded You don't have to uh have permission
- 35:18if you can get there without being noticed But in order to get there you'd be noticed I think anyway
- 35:24the infrastructure and posture of nato during that same time period There's something they call efp enhanced forward presence so
- 35:34from 2017, there are four multinational battalions But in 2022, there are now eight whole battle groups, okay Mostly funded
- 35:46by the u.s In estonia latvia lithuania poland bulgaria hungary rome and romania and slovakia And permanent u.s.
- 35:56President presence.
- 35:58We have a u.s. Army garrison poland Which didn't exist when I was in the military in the 90s
- 36:04at posnan.
- 36:05We have camp kusi Kusisku, I forget how they say it and supporting the fifth core headquarters all in poland
- 36:14I mean Pretty damn close to russia well on the border with belarus And we have now these missile defense
- 36:21systems that nato has put up aegis anti aegis ashore ballistic missile defense systems in devicelu romania in 2016 And
- 36:32now since 2024 In poland people are condemning what we're doing or what?
- 36:38What well what on the other side they're condemning what we're doing and now it has forced russia to put
- 36:46Uh, they say they have air air defenses all over belarus And that they're putting nuclear weapons in belarus, too.
- 36:56Just like america does by sharing our nuclear umbrella with places in europe And that's not what non-proliferation was
- 37:05supposed to be doing Uh, and and there's air policing, you know, uh continuous baltic air policing and awacs patrols
- 37:16uh all funded by the us nuclear sharing b61-12 modernization F-35a is certified as dual capable, which means
- 37:26it can carry nuclear weapons and the uk rejoins nato's nuclear sharing posture because every That is bringing it up,
- 37:39uh quite a bit of new, um structure and uh, What do you call it?
- 37:48capabilities for NATO during that time period and what has russia done to call it to counter this So kaliningrad,
- 37:57which is part of the russian Satellite and they kept it as part of russia proper and uh, but And
- 38:08it's on the baltic sea But it used to be connected quite a bit more.
- 38:12So kaliningrad has iskander-m missiles.
- 38:15They have the s400 defense systems and bastion coastal defenses along that that area They which they didn't have before
- 38:24but they upped it because of what we're doing All over poland and in the crimea after 2014 turned it
- 38:31into a uh, a fortress for air defense and uh capabilities for russia Because that you know, and it used
- 38:41to be part of ukraine, but now it's solid russia belarus now hosts russian tactical nuclear weapons since 2023 And
- 38:52the military districts have modernized their their nuclear triads with yar sarmat and avant-garde hypersonics They have their kaliber
- 39:00cruise missiles and bastion defenses.
- 39:02This this is some serious escalation That's gone on mostly in the last 10 years And what has china done
- 39:10during this time period just so you know because that's where the sco comes in but but The strong, you
- 39:16know, the the military might of all of this is china and russia, but india is no slouch either and
- 39:23uh, chinese counters are joint bomber patrols that they're patrolling the pacific With russia and in the sea of japan
- 39:32They have naval drills with russia anti-submarine exercise with russia and now This and russia's had it for some
- 39:40time.
- 39:41I believe as well as their own they they work together the baidu that Uh gps system i was telling
- 39:48you on the chinese government side, which is it's enabled their targeting and their logistics all are common so this
- 39:55is being set up as a uh, you know, I don't like to call it access versus allies because that's
- 40:02ancient history, but You kind of see where we're going with this And india is trying to play All sides
- 40:11or play its own side, you know, and and that was one of the comments that jai shankar made too
- 40:17He goes look Why do we have to pick sides?
- 40:21Our side is india.
- 40:23We act what is best for india Us acts for what's best for it.
- 40:28In fact, it dictates what's best for everyone else, but we do not accept that we Defend what's best or
- 40:39we pick what's best for india period and How can you fault the guy?
- 40:47I mean you really can't you know, you hear donald trump say things similar by the way And I don't
- 40:54know maybe donald trump is a better diplomat than we've had in a very long time and I wonder how
- 41:04hey Well, I would wonder his thoughts on this but I don't want to get too far aside because I
- 41:09still got a good amount of information to sling your way on this thursday evening my last show of the
- 41:17week until my sunday evening deep dive in uh, uh This one let's talk about the china's state gps real
- 41:26quick.
- 41:27It's uh completed in 2020 state-owned run by china's satellite navigation office Equivalents would be your us gps systems
- 41:39your russians glonass And the eu's galileo system so that we each have our own the commercial uses you'd use
- 41:47it for trucking maritime shipping precision for agriculture telecom and synchronization in the uh in the sco shanghai cooperation organization,
- 41:58they're using it for All of their and I found this extremely interesting for their uh, wide logistics, you know
- 42:08the sco Everywhere all over the sco which is everybody in the all 10 countries and the uh, Partner countries
- 42:18which were another 10 12, right?
- 42:202020 showed up to the organization this time and uh, so they all use the same logistics system and that
- 42:30logistics is this um System that were by do And they use it for rail corridors oil pipelines gas pipelines
- 42:41trade routes shipping cords Stuff like that military uses they use it for encrypted service targeting missile guidance jamming resistance
- 42:52integrated into drones Excuse me drone swarms and naval navigation I got the hiccups.
- 43:00Sorry about that and then uh But it's not like new google earth.
- 43:05It's not starlink You know a direct parallel would would be your gps sort of thing And why does it
- 43:11matter because it's a shared infrastructure and sovereignty kind of Taken away from your gps structure, right?
- 43:23um It's open service guides taxis.
- 43:28It's encrypted channels guide missiles that's what's You know, it's it's it's a big deal for xi jinping to offer
- 43:37this to everybody in the group I don't know if there was any talk about money.
- 43:41I didn't hear that part.
- 43:43But uh, But this is this is a pretty big deal As part of this, uh shanghai cooperation organization.
- 43:50It was very beautifully done um press conference and question answer period for vladimir vladimirovich like I told you about
- 44:01before and it was A good question and answer period and um It was 45 minutes, obviously i'm not going
- 44:13to go into it, but there were a number of good questions in there he he was asked about uh,
- 44:19what he would consider some of the results of his china visit And he responded that it was very very
- 44:28positive And that it had a long agenda Of the two-day agenda, but the two extra days that he
- 44:37was spending Allowed for substantive talks with many global leaders including uh, xi's global governance initiative um is very important
- 44:50because this global governance is kind of in contrast to what these they see as the western dominated un important
- 45:00for bricks and the shanghai cooperation organization He was asked about the power of siberia 2 pipeline that I talked
- 45:08to you about several days ago Uh that power of siberia pipeline pipeline uh one was finished and the pipeline
- 45:182 That's supposed to go through mongolia They were talking about as well.
- 45:24And so he was asked and there was talks that this might be they were going to finalize it And
- 45:29come to a deal for the because they were still having some some structural concerns about how they get through
- 45:37mongolia and whether it's gonna uh be all uh I don't know what Whatever agreements they need to come to
- 45:47whether they were going to be able to do them and he said that they were finalized And so now
- 45:52another and the reason I bring this up is joint intergovernmental and Uh Continent wide let's call it asia-wide
- 46:09Concern because It's infrastructure and we have none, you know, I talked about this the other day What what is
- 46:18the what is the u.s counter to this?
- 46:21the keystone pipeline remember that We were going to have a pipeline to get stuff from north america and from
- 46:29canada all the way down uh south to mexico and and further and connect it to other pipelines or do
- 46:37something like that because we have Natural gas that we could supply and what happened?
- 46:42First day biden took office.
- 46:44He canceled their permits and canceled the whole thing billions of dollars lost why?
- 46:49politics You know you can disagree with russia and china all you want you can disagree with Anybody over there,
- 46:56you know for having a different structure of government or for being bad people as besson called them They're bad
- 47:03countries is basically what he said.
- 47:05These are bad guys.
- 47:06Oh, okay why Because you disagree with their politics.
- 47:11It's it's freaking nonsensical to listen to these idiots talk about Bad people.
- 47:19Oh, yeah, america's full of great people in government, isn't it?
- 47:23There isn't any bad people over here.
- 47:25That isn't did I just it was bad grammar and I apologize for that I generally am better behaved uh,
- 47:32however, let's let's talk about this because question another question to uh, to uh vladimir vladimirovich Was on nato and
- 47:44eu expansion and on ukrainian membership And he said The following his and it's nato, of course That's a red
- 47:57line for russia and always has been And but as far as being associated with the eu the economic union,
- 48:04that's up to ukraine, you know, why?
- 48:06Fine, we don't care You want to be a member of an economic union great.
- 48:10You want to be a uh, Member of nato with more bases on our border after you've done what you've
- 48:17done all over the the other countries of the world You know, you're not doing it in ukraine And they've
- 48:24been saying that for 20 freaking years 30 freaking years Then he was asked a rather interesting question about meeting
- 48:32zelensky And direct to him and he said, you know what i'm not ruling it out but Zelensky's legitimacy is
- 48:43in question, but if he's ready meaning if you've organized something if there's something to agree upon or you intend
- 48:52to come and You know capitulate basically Uh, let him come to moscow So he he basically said You want
- 49:04to come?
- 49:05Come to moscow so There's not a I doubt there's a red carpet waiting for the old z man but
- 49:14Putin said come on down You want to come come on over I hope we have something to talk about
- 49:23and we shall see What we shall see when that happens.
- 49:27Uh, he said and then he was asked and here this was a good question Is multi-polarity?
- 49:34real yet Is is is there such a thing as multi-polarity does it really exist?
- 49:42And that was asked by a russian reporter and it was uh, I mean it was But interesting and not
- 49:51hugely deep but Well put you know to ask him specifically about this and he said yes contours Do exist
- 50:02But no new hegemon He's mean in china should Endeavor to dominate And he says that he believes the term
- 50:12multi-polarity equals equality of countries under the law so basically legal equality For whatever your country Membership
- 50:34is I mean Yeah The argument is between him xi jinping and modi to modi especially in fact Is that?
- 50:45if the un treated people equally None of these other world authorities would matter But the un you can always
- 50:57count on the fact that nobody will ever condemn israel for Whatever anything israel wants to do Israel could I
- 51:07don't know go and bomb qatar and nobody would care And nobody would condemn them for it and uh, qatar
- 51:15is a good actor on the global stage Uh, you know they could help if israel decided that greece was
- 51:22a bunch of bad people They didn't want to run around and israel went and did something bad nobody'd condemn
- 51:27them u.s had veto any anybody trying to Uh sanction them or to say they've done anything bad.
- 51:34I think it's a very bad structure myself and uh, but they're all too eager to uh, uh, you know
- 51:42all too eager to condemn, you know, russia or Uh china for anything or even india and india has been
- 51:51saying for decades Look, we're the biggest country.
- 51:55We're modern.
- 51:56We're my we got this we got that we should be We should have much more of a stay in
- 52:02the organization, but we don't even get equal representation Really and they've been talking about that for a while and
- 52:10they said if uh, uh un started to be a little more So all these organizations that are coming up
- 52:16bricks, which is Going to be dominant.
- 52:19I you know, i'm i'm i'm I believe that next year's china Um, but even if it's india, I really
- 52:26would like to try and make it to the uh I didn't make it to the brazil one this year.
- 52:32It kind of pisses me off that I didn't um, but Uh, and I should have but I didn't But
- 52:39they also made these crazy little uh Difficult.
- 52:43Anyway, I don't need to talk about that.
- 52:44I still got some more stuff then they asked him about his uh frozen the frozen money And I haven't
- 52:51found anything that says they've taken any of the money there's been some new talks About this, uh, 300 billion.
- 52:58That's a russian money sitting in uh, um western banking And they've been using You know, they keep squeezing the
- 53:07interest out of it and giving it to ukraine but they have in ukraine and a bunch of other states
- 53:13in the the eu have been trying to Get to the uh corpus the uh assets themselves like Not taking
- 53:27the earnings from it, but they want to take the assets themselves and wanted some genius on the uh, uh
- 53:35Of the ursula von der leyen type said we need to take all 300 billion and just give it to
- 53:41ukraine for rebuilding and Trust me if their lawyers could figure out a way to uh, Even say that they
- 53:49would they could justify this somehow that money'd be gone in a heartbeat But they so they asked putin about
- 53:56this and he said if they did Seize the money that would destroy global finance and frankly any western Uh
- 54:07any views any positive view that anybody has of the western banking or finance systems?
- 54:14That remains he said the profits only approach that they're using right now Is still harmful, but less catastrophic And
- 54:23he warns of world economic fragmentation But that's exactly what's going on is global economic fragmentation because even in this
- 54:36uh, uh seo They had a huge portion of it that uh where they talked about.
- 54:42Um, Uh What do you call it using, uh their own inter Inter-country funds like using um rubles to
- 54:59buy goods from kazakhstan and and using uh Whatever money they use in I don't know azerbaijan to buy well
- 55:11that they're not a member but in in uh, Uzbekistan to buy stuff from uh, and I don't remember I
- 55:17have some but I don't remember what they're called To buy to buy things from russia, right?
- 55:23They are using your own currency is also a big deal now in the shanghai cooperation organization They're all that
- 55:31was they've listed it.
- 55:33They are intentionally De-dollarizing they're telling people to prep for it pay in your own currencies Then they talked
- 55:42about the battlefield situation and that's been bad news for ukraine and nobody's even talking about it but you know,
- 55:49I tell you watch, uh, my my uh, Favorite one is uh watch military summary channel on youtube and they
- 55:59provides every day the uh content of How many kilometers the russians have advanced what cities they've taken and all
- 56:07that Russia's advancing ukraine is shifting brigades and kiev cannot amount large-scale offensive Is what vladimir putin said straight
- 56:17up today and he's right?
- 56:20um, he asked about a trump meeting and he said uh We had and they asked him seriously.
- 56:26He said what happened in the limo and he wouldn't he didn't tell him He says, you know, we had
- 56:30a we had a brief chat in english and uh was very cordial and he referred him back to alaska
- 56:37He also said that uh, uh Trump's invited to moscow that there's an invitation out there that he can have
- 56:45it and then they were asked about the uh, What's the sco's global rose saying high cooperation organization?
- 56:52Is it against?
- 56:54uh, the west is it against uh, the the uh us And this is where he said that reference that
- 57:00I said earlier in the show and he said The sco is not designed to be against anyone It is
- 57:08a cooperative platform Where we are doing our own work where we conducting and taking care of our own work
- 57:16and our own Issues that you know, we're not against anybody.
- 57:19We're just trying to best run the area Of that concerns us right here And uh, you know what's wrong
- 57:28with that with any of these explanations?
- 57:30well at the same time this was going on, um, and I I I know you A lot of people
- 57:36probably think i'm a nut for doing this but I watch and I try to keep track of marty as
- 57:42a hot of us, uh, Briefings and there's something else going on That I that I left russia too early.
- 57:51It appears and I kind of had sort of a mini invite But I don't I don't have time for
- 57:56that stuff.
- 57:56And unfortunately, I have to fund it all myself and uh, this was in vladivostok there they're uh, Having an
- 58:05economic council Uh there and it's a it's a pretty big deal, right?
- 58:13And uh, maria zakharova gave her briefing from there where she is present At the vladivostok briefing and they were
- 58:21talking about the 80th, uh general assembly of the un Coming up and the you know, they want to Uh,
- 58:30the west keeps pushing what they refer to rules based order but whose rules uh Are we talking about and
- 58:40they're using this to override the un charter?
- 58:44So she she pretty much um made a pretty blatant double standards uh attack Against the us and the people
- 58:57in the un she said for example, the u.s is denying visas to palestinians To palestinian representatives at the
- 59:06request of of israel, by the way Which I think is nonsense and she said this is a breach of
- 59:12the unhq agreement She's right, by the way and then uh, she argues that the un Must not be selectively
- 59:22interpreted but it always is And this is why other people in the world have a problem with it because
- 59:28the u.s And the west will twist it to whatever suits their purposes at the time and then twist
- 59:36it back when it doesn't go their way that's Welcome to the un, you know, it's and it's been that
- 59:42way for a long time.
- 59:44She gave a ukrainian Update, uh ukraine update not ukrainian.
- 59:50She gave ukraine update saying well, she gave the weekly casualty and attack ledgers She condemns the western arms continuing
- 59:58to go to uh Kiev Under the trumpster, by the way more patriots more f-16s starlink She criticizes the
- 1:00:09eu for talking about troop deployments and saying they're still doing it Although i've heard quite a bit That it's
- 1:00:16now called the coalition of the unwilling Because most of those who are willing to throw their own troops in
- 1:00:24For either peacekeeping or anything else, especially in france, but anybody else has been involved as well the they their
- 1:00:33people aren't supporting Their people are very much against it.
- 1:00:38There's been some some heavy-duty protests going on So she's criticizing them again saying well their own people don't
- 1:00:45even want it and she Talked again And this is this is accurate people They've talked about us bio labs
- 1:00:54in ukraine These have been found they exist And there's there's a good amount of evidence about them and you
- 1:01:03know, we'd be all pissed off if russia put bio labs in uh, uh, Belarus when we found it found
- 1:01:11out about it, but we'll we'll happily throw some into ukraine for you Right, or I suppose I shouldn't say
- 1:01:17we should I should I say the deep state?
- 1:01:19Uh those people, uh You know She brought up one more thing that I found, uh, and I don't think
- 1:01:28i've mentioned it enough and I probably should um so if you don't know The and it's getting worse and
- 1:01:38there was another another attempt at it by the old z monster last week the old green goblin said that
- 1:01:46uh, and and The uh mps are doing the same thing.
- 1:01:51What do they what do they call it the rada verhovna rada the uh, uh, their um legislative body um
- 1:01:59in ukraine Is allegedly putting something out there to make the ukrainian orthodox church illegal Kind of a terrorist organization
- 1:02:09for working with russians So the and they were going to jail the head of the ukrainian orthodox church so
- 1:02:17about However, many years ago.
- 1:02:20I don't remember the exact date but uh, they they declared these same geniuses Declared that the russian orthodox church,
- 1:02:28which has been around for a very long time in ukraine That it was going it couldn't be based on
- 1:02:35you know You can't be partners with russia for church, by the way It's nonsense that you couldn't do it
- 1:02:40and americans would have you know a fit if you said, you know, geez You're a catholic.
- 1:02:46Well, you can't be catholic.
- 1:02:48Uh You know You can't be catholic in america.
- 1:02:52Sorry.
- 1:02:53We don't allow that You know or any church whatever it happened to be whether you moved here or not
- 1:02:58You should be able to worship how you feel but not in ukraine friends and neighbors.
- 1:03:03Oh, no um, they had they made the russian orthodox church actually change its name To the ukrainian orthodox church
- 1:03:13and now they're accusing the head of the ukrainian orthodox church who is russian that you cannot have services in
- 1:03:21anything related to russian and He has been jailed repeatedly because he works with The russian orthodox church and he
- 1:03:35won't comply and so now they've jailed him This is and it keeps getting worse ukraine is not your good
- 1:03:41friend and neighbor they just are not um, she also talked a little bit about vietnam and azerbaijan detentions and
- 1:03:50the 80th anniversary libya 70 years of ties with them, you know, just commemorating some stuff and then the russia
- 1:03:58china integrations She reminded everyone that now 90 percent of trade Between russia and china more than 90 percent is
- 1:04:10done in the yuan and the ruble no dollar and uh crazy stuff um I I don't know there there
- 1:04:23was you know, this this economic council going on at the same time as the shanghai cooperation organization called for
- 1:04:33a lot Of information, you know to be spread out among different places There was also a couple of good
- 1:04:41lavrov speeches today, but there was a guy that I like listening to Um, and I wish I could remember
- 1:04:47his first name.
- 1:04:48I think it's yakov I'm, pretty sure it is yakov and and I watch him fairly regularly, he appears on
- 1:04:56the program of uh, Uh vladimir solovyov that I tell you about that come I try to watch the sunday
- 1:05:04night once they You know, you know, I you know what I I saw recently that they he doesn't do
- 1:05:10them every night anymore For for whatever reason or at least maybe they're not saved on the platform.
- 1:05:16I don't know if maybe they've limited Access outside of the country, but it appears that I only get the
- 1:05:22sunday night ones now And so they're not seven or five nights a week they're only uh, They're only one
- 1:05:29and generally I tried to watch the sunday night ones.
- 1:05:32Anyway, um, But they've been pared down a little bit.
- 1:05:36It looks like but this guy named, uh, I believe it's yakov.
- 1:05:39Kid me he did an analysis of Uh the events afterward like the military uh parades and the military functions
- 1:05:50And if you haven't watched any of those you can see quite a bit of it on uh on youtube
- 1:05:56as well, and I watched some of that and it was Quite impressive.
- 1:06:01It was an impressive, uh display of um military might from uh from china And a good amount of world
- 1:06:10leaders.
- 1:06:11They're checking it out so if you get a chance you might uh, Just for interest's sake Uh, go and
- 1:06:18have a look at it and uh, he wanted to talk about the military Symbolism Of it all and he
- 1:06:24had there was a good interview of him that was conducted And in china's victory parade They have developed their
- 1:06:35own the same as russia hypersonic missiles their own laser Systems if you heard about the russian, uh laser systems,
- 1:06:47they tested again And uh, russia is now uh mass produced several of these um from the lasers That can
- 1:06:55take out uh drones Get on youtube and check that out too because uh, uh, that is impressive and uh
- 1:07:06Watching them take care of it.
- 1:07:08They also Introduced and yakov kademy was talking about it saying that they have ai In their weapon systems and
- 1:07:19networked warfare Now this is scary stuff um you know We have all these movies that we watched at you
- 1:07:29know terminator and you know, you pick it irobot that uh technology comes and in defending america actually Ends up
- 1:07:42Discovering what's best for us.
- 1:07:44Is anybody else worried about that?
- 1:07:46Just a tiny bit with ai Especially with ai and a weapon system You know, how long is this going
- 1:07:54to go on?
- 1:07:57And did everybody see the picture he commented on this too, but when I first saw the picture I was
- 1:08:03like wow that picture is going to be all over the place um, it was Xi jinping putin and kim
- 1:08:11jong-un together on the podium Watching the victory parades together and remember north korea has got a pretty powerful
- 1:08:20Army as well.
- 1:08:21Don't go thinking they're any slouches because they are not and uh, it's Those those three together on the podium
- 1:08:33You can't help but think militarily With the three of them there because tell you what that's that's uh And
- 1:08:43remember they're talking about what whoever suggested this did you hear about kellogg's meeting that got cut short to nothing
- 1:08:51meeting with this, uh coalition of the unwilling and and the speculation is That he went in there and was
- 1:08:58telling them what they were going to do instead of whatever But either way this meeting was supposed to take
- 1:09:04place all day long Turned into less than by some accounts 25 minutes and other accounts, maybe 40 But either
- 1:09:11way it didn't last long at all and off he went and so there's been talk about that um The
- 1:09:20parade was uh, you know, they somebody asked this cadme guy if he thought um That it was a huge
- 1:09:28display or a warning to the west and he said he goes listen That was an extremely professional parade And
- 1:09:38it was a demonstration of a large superpower now xi jinping sat with uh, vladimir putin on the stage in
- 1:09:49moscow And now vladimir putin returned the favor and I said something about it way back then I want to
- 1:09:56see what xi jinping puts puts out with their parade that parade was pretty damn impressive And uh, you know,
- 1:10:04they're trying to one-up each other and who knows?
- 1:10:08What'll come of it, but they're high hypersonics in uh china They are unmatched except by russia's which are slightly
- 1:10:16better according to all accounts.
- 1:10:18But uh, But china's got some pretty serious hypersonics, too And their lasers for missile defenses are pretty unique Excuse
- 1:10:29me.
- 1:10:29I got a bit of a cough here.
- 1:10:34Excuse me.
- 1:10:36Um I think and he made a comment that I kind of mirror and I said something similar when I
- 1:10:44was commenting on The lack of western Um Leaders showing up at the 80th anniversary of the end of the
- 1:10:58Of world war ii in russia There's no reason that there shouldn't that they shouldn't work together to celebrate something
- 1:11:09of that nature and usually in a five, you know on the I forget what they call it when it's
- 1:11:16on the the five-year anniversary or the 10 or the 15 on on years like that that are Something
- 1:11:24better.
- 1:11:24They usually can get people to show up but Nope And and nobody showed up in russia except a couple
- 1:11:31of western uh presidents from like Serbia and hungary or whatever and then they got beat the hell up for
- 1:11:39it politically It's nonsense and uh, I feel the same way about this 80th, you know obviously we can't do
- 1:11:49it at this period in time, but it would be extremely brave And show an incredible amount of Stones and
- 1:12:04a huge impact on the world if Donald trump showed up himself or sent marco rubio To go to something
- 1:12:17of this Huge Significance not to participate in the in the shanghai cooperation organization.
- 1:12:26I mean specifically to go and commemorate the loss of some 20 million Chinese people because of the attacks by
- 1:12:37japan um during world war ii But nope, we cannot What do you call it, um Compartmentalize We do not
- 1:12:51compartmentalize Again, if you're evil in one thing you're evil in all And and I think that is a huge
- 1:13:00mistake in life and in politics and I wish we had more politicians who Subscribe to the You know small
- 1:13:12steps theories that uh, you know you're not gonna uh change, uh, you know conquer rome in a day, whatever
- 1:13:21that saying goes you're not gonna You're not gonna take care of it and we we can't get anything Accomplished
- 1:13:32because We can't get anything accomplished Start small, you know, I mean jesus be a friend, you know, how do
- 1:13:41you uh eat an elephant?
- 1:13:44Well take a bite Then take another one, you know this it's us Does that mean it's not?
- 1:13:52It's not worth it.
- 1:13:54It isn't worth it.
- 1:13:55Talk to that guy.
- 1:13:56You'll never get anything done.
- 1:13:57Well Okay.
- 1:13:59Well, I guess you'll never get anything done then because that's how it works and it's that same in everything
- 1:14:04I wish we could apply it to our politics as well because we really suck in global politics in my
- 1:14:11Humble opinion and have for a while So, I don't know let's let's keep going I still got a couple
- 1:14:20of little uh segments here that I wish to do And on this one, uh, uh, here's where I get
- 1:14:30to my scott besson and and I don't like him I have for whatever reason this guy doesn't say anything
- 1:14:38positive ever and It's like geez What is wrong with you?
- 1:14:44And and so he had a he was asked.
- 1:14:48Um Where's my reference because I had the whole article was there somewhere and it's uh, He was asked Like
- 1:15:00damn it who was it was a politico.
- 1:15:02I can't remember and he it was He he was asked about the shanghai cooperation organization and he was asked
- 1:15:12about it and he said listen Those guys this is where he called them all Uh, he said the seo
- 1:15:21is just a performative Basis, it's like a circus basically.
- 1:15:26Well What They're it's a performance.
- 1:15:30Jesus.
- 1:15:31They don't have anything going on.
- 1:15:32It's a performance And uh, so yeah, all these people get together and and have a performance they're they're doing
- 1:15:40performative measures For you To fake, you know to do what for what purpose are they here to scare you?
- 1:15:48And then he said that the members of the seo all 20 of them, you know These are just these
- 1:15:54these members are what he called bad actors, right?
- 1:16:00So he says no definition he didn't didn't give any definition for what a bad actor really is we just
- 1:16:07get to say well He's a bad guy.
- 1:16:11Therefore.
- 1:16:11You don't deal with him.
- 1:16:12That's my point.
- 1:16:13You know, we don't have to do anything because Oh, they're bad actors Tell enough people that guess what they
- 1:16:21are Bad actors, right and then the the by the way performative basically means ah, that's just you know, Optical
- 1:16:31show the word the word in russian is called a uh, pachazuka and I always like that word because it's
- 1:16:38basically a uh, A a flea circus, let's call it, you know, that's a pachas and a pachazuka doesn't mean
- 1:16:48flea circus but it's basically the equivalent a pachazuka is a uh, A fake display of something, you know, geez
- 1:16:56they're gonna go um You know put on a display for a day, you know, your boss is coming in
- 1:17:02you clean the place up But on a regular day the places of his shit show You know what?
- 1:17:08I mean if you're if the corporate office isn't coming in, you know from afar Uh, the place is a
- 1:17:14dump but the day they show up boy.
- 1:17:16It's spotless uh, remember the the u.s air force colonel who got relieved of command for uh, Actually, was
- 1:17:24it air force?
- 1:17:26I don't you know what?
- 1:17:28It might have been it might have been an army guy I I can't recall but he actually got relieved
- 1:17:35to command by a general and this is the right thing to do By the way, I might have to
- 1:17:39look this up in uh, uh on google and see if I can find it But uh way back when
- 1:17:45when I was still serving in the army a guy really did get in trouble For having his troopies paint
- 1:17:51the grass For because there was somebody important coming in and they painted the grass I mean, how foolish is
- 1:18:03that?
- 1:18:03How stupid do you gotta be?
- 1:18:06to paint the grass, um, and uh, and and uh, i'm i'm Well, my percentages keep going down.
- 1:18:14I was just gonna say i'm 95 Certain that occurred but maybe it's only 90 But uh, but I remember
- 1:18:20it being you know Something that we actually looked into back when to see if it was there and I
- 1:18:26can't remember if it was in stars and stripes or uh, Whatever military army times something like that But uh,
- 1:18:33there was a story out there and we all debated it for a good number of days.
- 1:18:37Uh, that is performative right Yeah, this is great stuff we're putting on a show for you Uh, so i'd
- 1:18:46like to give a couple of rebuttals for that because we just went over a bunch of them and and
- 1:18:51what What about the seo?
- 1:18:54meetings Was performative was a show There's some pretty big deals.
- 1:19:00They talked about mr.
- 1:19:01Besant And one of them is the banking that they have talked about that they're putting a new development bank
- 1:19:10in the Shanghai cooperation organization just like they did in bricks To mean that people that are a member of
- 1:19:18this seo just like members of bricks can get money from china Mostly through the development bank now, I think
- 1:19:25that's a pretty big deal Because they don't have to go and kiss the ring or to lick the rear
- 1:19:32end of Western dominated world bank or international monetary fund.
- 1:19:38That's why they're doing it it's exactly why they're doing it because Otherwise, they're going to be required to sanction
- 1:19:45somebody at some point in history without any uh ability to uh Not do it because their money is all
- 1:19:53dependent on being given to them only from the international monetary fund through through the world bank and And Who
- 1:20:02needs that if you're a developing country and and have any idea that you would like to be?
- 1:20:08Independent and don't want to be controlled like a colony From uh, you know, I don't know from 150 years
- 1:20:17ago So I think that's a big deal the energy ties that they talked about.
- 1:20:23That's a huge deal that uh, You know that they they talked about this pipeline thing coming through and they
- 1:20:30approved the mongolia and going through mongolia And so now most of them can all get very cheap russian gas
- 1:20:37the same way that india and china are And what have we done?
- 1:20:41Mr. Besant?
- 1:20:42We got nothing, you know this and how are you going to combat that sanctions?
- 1:20:46Good luck You know, it's not going to work and uh, I mean, you don't have to be a genius
- 1:20:52to figure that out And so talk about political grandstanding Mr. Besant all jizz are just bad actors and this
- 1:21:00is all just a clown show, you know, that's it.
- 1:21:03Oh, yeah That's the clown show and not you I I Probably shouldn't beat up on him so bad I
- 1:21:12mean, he's got to have some good redeeming qualities, but why in the world can't you just call it like
- 1:21:17it is?
- 1:21:18you know if people are always gonna uh, uh I don't it's once again this is what they call cancel
- 1:21:26culture and he is just as guilty of it as Anybody else talking about rainbow flags, right?
- 1:21:35It's it's just wow.
- 1:21:36Jeez.
- 1:21:37Where's your rainbow flag?
- 1:21:38I don't want one Oh, that means you hate gays.
- 1:21:41No, it means I don't want a rainbow flag that that's not a huge focus in my life You know,
- 1:21:48why do we have to come out and be told that these are all bad people and that they're behaving
- 1:21:52performatively When you could just say well, you know, they've got some good things going on over there We'll have
- 1:21:58to keep an eye on that or it's not what we would like and we disagree with some of the
- 1:22:02things They're doing but it could be positive for their area.
- 1:22:05I don't understand it makes no sense What what what you're trying to sell me and if you would be
- 1:22:12more reasonable about it Perhaps i'd buy more of your words or something else.
- 1:22:17They talked about the power of siberia, too That's hard infrastructure.
- 1:22:21That's a big deal.
- 1:22:23Where's our hard infrastructure?
- 1:22:24We can't even build a A rail system that was supposed to cost 36 Million or billion for a high
- 1:22:31-speed rail 36 million.
- 1:22:33I'm sorry now.
- 1:22:34It's a hundred million And no it is billion.
- 1:22:37I'm sorry and and it hasn't gone anywhere and they've curtailed it to just a baker's field You know, they've
- 1:22:42cut it by a third Or by well, they've cut it by two thirds.
- 1:22:46There's only a third of it left And they still won't get it done.
- 1:22:49There's no end in sight.
- 1:22:50Where's texas high-speed rail?
- 1:22:52That's been talked about for 30 years the high-speed rail.
- 1:22:55They got in the northeast of the united states That shit hasn't gone anywhere And uh their high-speed rail
- 1:23:00doesn't even go the speed that china had in high-speed rail in the 60s So where's our infrastructure what
- 1:23:08do we got what have we done?
- 1:23:11I don't know, but this is just performative.
- 1:23:13Sorry to beat up on him.
- 1:23:15Um What about rats the real counter-terrorist?
- 1:23:19Coordination that they they had some pretty big development on that Seo is not nato, right?
- 1:23:26They aren't there, but they had workshops where real projects got hammered out Multi-polarity is no longer just a
- 1:23:33slogan world.
- 1:23:35It's like Uh what vladimir putin said, you know, we're taking care of our own our own issues.
- 1:23:41We're just getting work done over here That's what we're doing Where where's us, you know, it's like they're they're
- 1:23:47working off engineering diagrams.
- 1:23:49And what are we working off of you know?
- 1:23:54What I mean seriously, what are we working off do we have any any sort of even regional Stuff Oh
- 1:24:04Anyway, i've been i've been on a roll tonight.
- 1:24:08Sorry about that so over the next 12 months the seo had a bit of a Guide, where are we
- 1:24:16going to go?
- 1:24:16What are we getting in the next?
- 1:24:1812 months till we meet again, basically What are we going to do?
- 1:24:23The seo is going to finance, you know have financing structures in place for a lot of different things through
- 1:24:29banking through bond issuance For other countries and through uh This development bank that they're creating to uh allow Um
- 1:24:40loans and notes for uh for countries.
- 1:24:43They're gonna roll out all of this beidou Uh g you know gps equivalent all over eurasia And Leg one
- 1:24:55of power of siberia two is already done and leg two Of power siberia was just agreed upon And they
- 1:25:04intend to have two of their milestones met by the time they meet next year These people come up with
- 1:25:10international projects and follow through on them What do we do?
- 1:25:18I mean seriously, what do we do?
- 1:25:20We can't even get regional Regional Infrastructure projects done in the us on any level because all the money's given
- 1:25:30to the state And i'm not against that but the structure of it means that you can't really do it
- 1:25:36And international cooperation, you know, I went through that it just We need to have a wake-up call Is
- 1:25:46what I think that the u.s. Needs a serious wake-up call um You know important quotes from this
- 1:25:54uh Contours like putin said the contours of multi-polarity do exist in our structures Where everyone is equal?
- 1:26:08I mean, that's Some powerful stuff Zakharova the problem isn't the un itself The un un is a good organization
- 1:26:18basically But the problem is the west always bends the charter to meet its own needs And these are this
- 1:26:26is accurate, okay, this is not this is this is not Uh sam's dream, this is this is the fact
- 1:26:36that we bend the charter to meet our own needs Willy-nilly whenever we feel like it with no real
- 1:26:44justification except politics So why doesn't anyone?
- 1:26:50uh trust us Because we bend the rules rules for me not for thee happens all the time I mean,
- 1:26:57that's one of the things I bitch about the most in life Is don't have a set of different rules
- 1:27:03for different people The same rules should apply to everyone equally by the way, but that's not the case A
- 1:27:10yakov kid me.
- 1:27:11What did he say?
- 1:27:12China showed its hypersonics lasers and new nukes Nobody has anything like this.
- 1:27:17He said By the way, I think he's right, too It'd be you know, what do we have any serious
- 1:27:23military parades in the united states?
- 1:27:25I mean we do for the army's birthday and for other stuff like that But do we have an equivalent
- 1:27:30where we go out and show our might?
- 1:27:33You know, I really got to look into that if I remember seeing a couple on fourth of july and
- 1:27:39things like that but most of those are not really for the purpose of glory or showing Our capabilities.
- 1:27:48I wonder you know, i'm gonna have to look into that.
- 1:27:50I don't think we do if we do Let me know samuel t at international flavor dot com And i'd
- 1:27:56be happy to do so or live at damn radio dot com And i'll jr i'll make sure I get
- 1:28:03it.
- 1:28:04Um Baidu guides taxis and missiles all at the same time Is that multi-polarity in orbit?
- 1:28:14And we wonder that could be kind of cool um, so Important terms that we've talked about today.
- 1:28:21I mean we've got Uh the baidu system we got zakharov under three hour briefing on the on the un
- 1:28:28rule bending ukrainian ledgers kedmi's analysis this performative nonsense that we've had to listen to from Besant who said that
- 1:28:38oh, geez, it's all empty over there.
- 1:28:40There's nothing nothing to see here folks.
- 1:28:42Just turn around Nonsense anyway, that's all I got today for the show I appreciate you being with me and
- 1:28:51I appreciate you listening to damn radio Dot com forward slash live.
