- 0:03Speaker 1: Enough is enough.
- 0:05Speaker 2: I don't have any serio shuck and we hold the
- 0:09Speaker 2: world ransom for.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Excuse me while I whipped this out.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia. This this is the Sports
- 0:20Speaker 3: Shot Show with Wayne Candy.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You may.
- 0:27Speaker 4: Show Frank comes to fun.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Comes and it comes to long.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Is it just.
- 0:37Speaker 3: I'm a doer?
- 0:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna go.
- 0:40Speaker 3: On the way you made Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're
- 0:46Speaker 3: listening to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock
- 0:49Speaker 3: Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out there and listening. Lang,
- 0:54Speaker 3: glad to be here with you. We are in training
- 0:57Speaker 3: camp in the n a AL show. A Tony is
- 1:02Speaker 3: knocking balls over the fence at a record rate. What
- 1:08Speaker 3: else do we have? Going to w NBA is back
- 1:11Speaker 3: in action after the All Star break, College football having
- 1:17Speaker 3: their annual media days, knocking that out before they take
- 1:21Speaker 3: the field. High school back in practice as well on
- 1:26Speaker 3: the football field. All of that going on, and still
- 1:35Speaker 3: the four people coming across your screen can't understand what
- 1:41Speaker 3: the need of AI is. All of that, think about them,
- 1:47Speaker 3: all of that. I just explained, that's a lot. It's
- 1:51Speaker 3: a lot football. It's so intricate and all the levels
- 1:55Speaker 3: are so now scooped into.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It used to be kind of like you were either
- 2:04Speaker 3: college or you were pro, or you were high school
- 2:08Speaker 3: in college. Now it's like you're you do have to
- 2:11Speaker 3: get a triple scoop. Yeah, And the board no longer
- 2:16Speaker 3: stays the boards, which is almost every eight weeks, because
- 2:21Speaker 3: we have seen coaches get fired in less time, and
- 2:25Speaker 3: so it's like it's not even set boards anymore. It's
- 2:28Speaker 3: not like, Okay, August first set, September sixteenth, he set.
- 2:36Speaker 1: We just need coach to get us to the Penn
- 2:38Speaker 1: State game. Now you know, they just have an opponent
- 2:41Speaker 1: we just need to get past.
- 2:42Speaker 3: It really is and it's so nil And did this
- 2:47Speaker 3: player transfer and this players decide to sit out? Now
- 2:50Speaker 3: you're not just having that conversation in the NFL. Now
- 2:54Speaker 3: you're having that conversation in college. You're having that conversation
- 2:59Speaker 3: that a high school player now has decided to flip
- 3:04Speaker 3: who and not in gymnastics. One of the biggest flips
- 3:07Speaker 3: in history was our man, Travis Hunter. We're talking about
- 3:12Speaker 3: up to the hour I was looking at it googling
- 3:15Speaker 3: it said something about his father, we'll talk about it later.
- 3:18Speaker 3: And they had a picture of his dad and him
- 3:21Speaker 3: when he was at Collins Hills. The dad had on
- 3:25Speaker 3: Florida State Seminal gloves. They did the picture to let
- 3:30Speaker 3: you know, oh, this was before it gave you a
- 3:34Speaker 3: timeline because it's like, oh, that never happened. It was
- 3:38Speaker 3: spoken on like it was going to happen, but it
- 3:40Speaker 3: never happened. Surprise. So as we know, and now he
- 3:45Speaker 3: is about to suit up for the Jacksonville Jaguars. But
- 3:50Speaker 3: any of you geniuses out there, any of you Sheldon's
- 3:54Speaker 3: and Leonard's and Cooper Poly's and Wallawitz, for those Big
- 4:00Speaker 3: Bang Theory people.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I was I was hoping that you wouldn't have to
- 4:04Speaker 1: explain it. But shout out to the blurds. That's it's
- 4:10Speaker 1: a great show, that the Big Bang Theory. But for
- 4:14Speaker 1: all you out there that understand AI, the four of us,
- 4:20Speaker 1: at least the three command you.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Greg went into his music zone. So I don't know
- 4:25Speaker 3: if you heard the question earlier. We were discussing what
- 4:29Speaker 3: is this big need of a I like, what is
- 4:33Speaker 3: it doing that is so needed that it's actually the
- 4:39Speaker 3: stock market is at our boom because everybody saying we're
- 4:42Speaker 3: in that AI. For you, that's old enough to remember
- 4:47Speaker 3: the Clinton days. Bill Clinton's presidency. Those years money was
- 4:53Speaker 3: made because we were going through Silicon Valley. We're going
- 4:56Speaker 3: through a transition. We were leaving sets and VHS tapes
- 5:03Speaker 3: and we were moving to CDs and all those kind
- 5:06Speaker 3: of things. Digital we were going and that was a
- 5:09Speaker 3: booming time, you know, and electronics were, you know, ten
- 5:14Speaker 3: years later. By the time Clinton left office, they stopped
- 5:17Speaker 3: even they were telling you any TV would a wire
- 5:22Speaker 3: or antenna, who we might as well just go ahead
- 5:24Speaker 3: on and throw that in the track. We don't even
- 5:26Speaker 3: do that. We don't do that.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And now we've moved to where you can sell my
- 5:31Speaker 1: wife a brand new phone every three months, come out
- 5:34Speaker 1: with a new version, and don't don't don't don't make
- 5:37Speaker 1: it be a nice little color at the car saying straight,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I mean, you know, now, the technology, everything that's.
- 5:46Speaker 6: Been described, it's all being done supposedly in the name
- 5:50Speaker 6: of making things easier.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Like what and that's what we're asking sore too much?
- 5:57Speaker 6: So what should we know that AI is doing now?
- 6:00Speaker 6: At the point with AI thinking it's supposed to be easier,
- 6:05Speaker 6: well to the point where you don't have to think
- 6:07Speaker 6: it examples.
- 6:08Speaker 1: S yeah, yeah, Well.
- 6:11Speaker 6: Like where you said with going from cassettes to CDs,
- 6:15Speaker 6: now you don't have to.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Either listen to a whole album.
- 6:21Speaker 6: You could go right to the song that you like,
- 6:23Speaker 6: and you don't have to do the fast forward thing.
- 6:25Speaker 6: You just click over to, you know, track six, if
- 6:29Speaker 6: that's the one you want to hear. And now with
- 6:32Speaker 6: with AI, it's I don't I don't want to write
- 6:35Speaker 6: the whole ten page paper.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I want to put my idea in a machine, and
- 6:44Speaker 1: you write the ten page paper for me.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Well, then you didn't write the paper.
- 6:50Speaker 6: My idea is in the paper, so and I gave
- 6:53Speaker 6: it the prompt, so in a way I did write it.
- 6:58Speaker 1: No, I get my ten I get my I give
- 7:01Speaker 1: my points.
- 7:02Speaker 7: It's like the music, I guess, I mean the way
- 7:04Speaker 7: he's saying, I regard if I put the ideal in,
- 7:07Speaker 7: I'm still gonna get credit for writing this because it
- 7:11Speaker 7: was my ideal.
- 7:12Speaker 1: It was my thought and theory.
- 7:14Speaker 6: And not to say this is like the this is
- 7:16Speaker 6: the the That's what I'm getting from as far as
- 7:20Speaker 6: someone not as far as like someone just putting in
- 7:23Speaker 6: a prompt and the ten page paper is spit out
- 7:25Speaker 6: for them. Like I said, it's so people don't it's
- 7:29Speaker 6: supposed to make things easier, and as far as it's
- 7:32Speaker 6: supposed to make thinking easier, to the point where you
- 7:34Speaker 6: don't really have to think it all or you don't
- 7:36Speaker 6: have to think Harry Man, and you give it one.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Sent So why would I give you credit for that
- 7:43Speaker 3: or something? Because of my thoughts and the fact that's
- 7:46Speaker 3: what people want to credit for the thought.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And yeah, because that has to be the creative part
- 7:51Speaker 1: you have.
- 7:51Speaker 6: I don't have to know what's in the paper that
- 7:53Speaker 6: I put the thought in.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Okay, but and I hear you. But for that to work,
- 8:00Speaker 3: then I have to be prescribing to the book of idiotic. Ah,
- 8:05Speaker 3: mind set, there we go. I would have to be
- 8:07Speaker 3: playing some game. Keep your eye on the queen, big man,
- 8:11Speaker 3: just right there. In the minute, I was just about
- 8:13Speaker 3: to say, all this is convince. We've been convinced. Hold on,
- 8:17Speaker 3: big man, I'm gonna make it easier for you. No, no,
- 8:19Speaker 3: you see it, You see look right there, Come.
- 8:21Speaker 1: On, you know so show Hey, old Tana didn't hit
- 8:25Speaker 1: the home run.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Ai. He swung the back, but he did compared to
- 8:31Speaker 3: what I'm doing working too hard. AI pushed the ball
- 8:34Speaker 3: out the fence, no over the gos.
- 8:37Speaker 6: Compared to what I'm doing with my ten page paper
- 8:40Speaker 6: show hell Tani is working too hard, He's doing too much.
- 8:44Speaker 1: It should be we we are.
- 8:47Speaker 6: We need to develop the And I put this in
- 8:50Speaker 6: the AI machine where you know, the machine hits the
- 8:54Speaker 6: home run for me.
- 8:55Speaker 1: And I'll tell you something that I thought in just
- 8:57Speaker 1: this moment, sports shock and if it fits and somebody,
- 9:00Speaker 1: then good. I think AI is a byproduct of people
- 9:08Speaker 1: being upset that they have no talent. Everybody wants to
- 9:12Speaker 1: level the playing field, and the truth of the matter
- 9:15Speaker 1: is the field was never leveled, but never it was
- 9:19Speaker 1: never supposed to be level.
- 9:21Speaker 7: But for you to say that, that means someone who's
- 9:24Speaker 7: very intelligent created this to help the level of the
- 9:27Speaker 7: player field.
- 9:28Speaker 1: They who were that mad that that's no listen to
- 9:31Speaker 1: what I'm saying. No, I hear what you're saying. What
- 9:34Speaker 1: you saying, that person, that person saw information as their field.
- 9:43Speaker 1: They maybe didn't make the baseball team, they maybe didn't
- 9:47Speaker 1: make the swim team. And so now I'm this is
- 9:51Speaker 1: where I dominate, And rather than just be the smart guy,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I'm going to make everybody as smart as me, so
- 9:59Speaker 1: you can see that, and eventually now we got the
- 10:02Speaker 1: robots stuff where my robots will beat your robots. I
- 10:06Speaker 1: don't have to actually get out there and run against you.
- 10:09Speaker 1: My robots are just faster than your robots. And sometimes
- 10:12Speaker 1: that's what this stuff seems like, like I couldn't do
- 10:15Speaker 1: it by myself. That used to be a source of pride,
- 10:18Speaker 1: that used to be a whole person's identity. Is I
- 10:23Speaker 1: did it myself. I pulled myself up, I figured it out.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I tied the key to a piece of string and
- 10:29Speaker 1: got electrocuted seventy two times. And now you hit a
- 10:32Speaker 1: switch and you got lights. And that's all I'm saying.
- 10:35Speaker 1: That used to be a thing in the whole world.
- 10:38Speaker 1: That used to be a thing, But now everybody gets
- 10:40Speaker 1: a trophy, and that's what I'm saying. And it's gotten
- 10:44Speaker 1: down to the mental trophies. Now we're giving you points
- 10:48Speaker 1: for machines writing papers.
- 10:49Speaker 3: And you see it in the idea of life now
- 10:53Speaker 3: where instead of taking care of my teeth, I'll just
- 10:58Speaker 3: buy some teeth. Instead of going to the gym, I
- 11:04Speaker 3: will get doctor fine to cut me up and sports
- 11:09Speaker 3: to make me look like I'm going to the gym.
- 11:11Speaker 3: The Cavender Twins the other day, young ladies, you know.
- 11:16Speaker 3: And when I saw the article, they went and got augmentation,
- 11:19Speaker 3: breast augmentation. They was telling everybody. I kept thinking, what
- 11:23Speaker 3: happened to where I'm going to at least try to
- 11:27Speaker 3: make you think my genetics grew these Now it's not
- 11:34Speaker 3: only am I going to put fake, I'm gonna tell
- 11:37Speaker 3: you I'm fake.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I'm fake And with this ai stuffed writing, hold on commanded, Greg,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I've made a lot of good money writing content for
- 11:47Speaker 1: television shows and awards shows and other comedians and specials.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And now nobody has to call me anymore to.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Get upset for rappers having a crime writer. Biden was
- 12:02Speaker 3: a crime words or that not a thing in the
- 12:07Speaker 3: in the music industry that if you tried, you could
- 12:12Speaker 3: only do someone on else's music or lyrics if you
- 12:16Speaker 3: gave credit right, you couldn't get up there Milli Vanilli
- 12:20Speaker 3: Me no. But now you're saying me Vanilli need their
- 12:24Speaker 3: money back, right, Yeah, Okay, we'll be back more than
- 12:30Speaker 3: sports show right after this.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Not that I'm peeing. I'm thinking I'm still in the street.
- 12:37Speaker 5: If he went about hot Spot down, but it's if
- 12:45Speaker 5: you reached on the cut of the list. We were Steve.
- 12:47Speaker 5: He wanted to see that.
- 12:48Speaker 8: I'm having don't go a Wayne board of the Sports
- 12:52Speaker 8: John Hill with Wayne Gambia is coming up next.
- 12:55Speaker 9: I want ain't gonna go And what got but returning

- 15:48Speaker 3: game to the next level.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Bet tell me.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Hey, yeah, hey, hey see, we spost to win pistols
- 16:19Speaker 5: and rockets, ain't making deposits. Were putting this dollar in
- 16:22Speaker 5: the box and got it.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Walk back to the Sport Shock Show.
- 16:24Speaker 3: I'm the Sports Shock Wing Gan to go pick up
- 16:27Speaker 3: my album and that's me right there, Ai Big, that's
- 16:32Speaker 3: my flow right there, big, your blow?
- 16:36Speaker 1: Gee? Why make it when I can just take the
- 16:39Speaker 1: blo why why and put it out? And if it's
- 16:43Speaker 1: knocking like that and the car you can get my
- 16:47Speaker 1: ninety nine.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Cent and you can tell me you faking it now,
- 16:52Speaker 4: be like man really standing here telling you ninety nine
- 16:57Speaker 4: right these lyrics, none of that of that.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I just found the most famous face or name or storyline. Yes,
- 17:06Speaker 3: because that's a big thing to who's telling the story? Yes,
- 17:10Speaker 3: okay to sell it to you people love. It's the right,
- 17:15Speaker 3: it's the right, you know, the pr person. But see
- 17:17Speaker 3: we see that's what Olivia Olivia done making what that
- 17:21Speaker 3: other name what was from? But that used to be
- 17:25Speaker 3: a talent. Just spend it on that that used to
- 17:26Speaker 3: be a talent.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Now No, no, that sports jock, that image ain't gonna
- 17:31Speaker 1: that ain't gonna get them. You look too uh entitled.
- 17:35Speaker 1: What we're gonna do is we're gonna grow your bed
- 17:38Speaker 1: out a little bit so you look scruffy and and
- 17:40Speaker 1: and like the struggle didn't hit you, gonna let your
- 17:43Speaker 1: hair grow some and then every nine and then you're
- 17:47Speaker 1: gonna say respectfully every every nine and then just say
- 17:51Speaker 1: that in front of your in front of all of
- 17:53Speaker 1: your statements. When I was talking about ugly girl, respectfully, well, respectfully.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Cam Newton has put a little buzz out last weekend.
- 18:03Speaker 3: I thought the story was just gonna blow over because
- 18:05Speaker 3: everyone has an opinion Cam Newton that can easily come
- 18:12Speaker 3: in a room, evaluate quarterbacks and leave, and you have
- 18:15Speaker 3: to pay attention to what he might think he's earned
- 18:20Speaker 3: that to be able to say it, no one's list
- 18:23Speaker 3: is wrong for them. It can be debated, but you know,
- 18:28Speaker 3: some of the stuff I see about it, it seems
- 18:30Speaker 3: like he doesn't have the right or understanding. But the
- 18:34Speaker 3: best thing you could do, would somebody do it? Is like,
- 18:36Speaker 3: what are you basing your list on? Cam Newton put
- 18:43Speaker 3: out where he felt like Jalen Hurts was not a
- 18:46Speaker 3: top ten quarterback in the NFL coming season, and a
- 18:51Speaker 3: lot of people took exceptions to that. But that's why
- 18:55Speaker 3: I say, Sometimes they even have the conversation what are
- 18:58Speaker 3: we basing this on? Somebody sent me an article the
- 19:01Speaker 3: other day about gibblelteringa is talking about rings and I
- 19:05Speaker 3: told him I said, rings only arrived for the Jordan
- 19:12Speaker 3: fan to defeat Lebron. It was the first time in
- 19:19Speaker 3: history of the sport anybody ever quantified. People quantified Rings
- 19:25Speaker 3: as the big joker m to draw four, but it
- 19:30Speaker 3: became the big joker in the Lebron Jordan's. It wasn't
- 19:38Speaker 3: Troy Aikman, Damn Marino. You never had heard anyone tell
- 19:42Speaker 3: you that troyan won three Super Bowl, went to the
- 19:45Speaker 3: Hall of Fame two, was a better quarterback than Dan Marino,
- 19:49Speaker 3: the man Marine.
- 19:52Speaker 6: You say, the whole thing started, Troy Aikman is a
- 19:56Speaker 6: better quarterback than Dave Marino said, No, no, what.
- 20:03Speaker 1: You guys keep leaving out the man. Please, You've never
- 20:06Speaker 1: heard anybody tell you that a Maron never.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Never, never. They give Troy all his due, that he
- 20:14Speaker 3: went to Hall of Fame, he has his three, all that,
- 20:16Speaker 3: but you never. They might throw up Joe Montana or
- 20:20Speaker 3: someone you know, but they never the police Troy.
- 20:24Speaker 6: Commonly, commonly Joe Montana comes up when it comes to
- 20:27Speaker 6: Dan the man.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Marino, pull him over and excuse me. But they never
- 20:36Speaker 3: used And even in the debate they were they were
- 20:39Speaker 3: not basing it on the rings. They were just basing
- 20:45Speaker 3: on boy on the field, the style, but the ring
- 20:51Speaker 3: debate when Lebron and Jordan's that was the That was
- 20:54Speaker 3: the big joker. If I lose the battle we started
- 20:59Speaker 3: to and I lose the battle when I got in
- 21:02Speaker 3: my I can't wait till we run these spades. Don't
- 21:08Speaker 3: worry about it. Don't worry about it, Potner, don't worry
- 21:11Speaker 3: about it. Don't worry about don't worry about it. We
- 21:15Speaker 3: got I might just send it on that about you.
- 21:17Speaker 3: I tell you what, I'll let you play it, partner.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Don't even be no play that for me.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Okay, there we got it that. It's just like that,
- 21:24Speaker 1: y'all might y'all want to go and put the skull
- 21:25Speaker 1: on the paper.
- 21:26Speaker 5: Now? That was? That?
- 21:27Speaker 3: Was it?
- 21:28Speaker 5: That?
- 21:28Speaker 3: That's the trump card. I didn't think about it. But
- 21:30Speaker 3: Cam Newton says that Jalen Hurts, super Bowl winning quarterback
- 21:36Speaker 3: for the Philadelphia Eagles is not on his top ten.
- 21:42Speaker 12: Now.
- 21:42Speaker 3: All I would ask Cam if he was sitting right now,
- 21:45Speaker 3: is what is his criteria, because everybody's criteria.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Is he didn't break it.
- 21:53Speaker 6: Now, he had made a like a respect to everybody's
- 21:55Speaker 6: response on his on his show, he broke down what
- 22:00Speaker 6: his criteria Is, and he compared Jalen Hurts to the
- 22:03Speaker 6: other quarterbacks he ranked ahead of him, like this guy
- 22:06Speaker 6: through for more yards, this guy through for less interceptions,
- 22:12Speaker 6: or through for more touchdowns. Jalen Hurts has a lot
- 22:16Speaker 6: of talent around him. That's basically what he was saying.
- 22:19Speaker 6: That you once said, like you got to go through
- 22:22Speaker 6: Jalen Hurts if you want to win the NFC, Like, no,
- 22:24Speaker 6: you don't have to go through Jalen Hurts. You got
- 22:26Speaker 6: to go through the Eagles. And it's like he's saying,
- 22:29Speaker 6: there's more talent and we'll come back from break and
- 22:31Speaker 6: talk about it, have a little more sccession. But my
- 22:34Speaker 6: thing is when people like that try to minimize because
- 22:44Speaker 6: Cam Newton will try to tell you that he didn't
- 22:47Speaker 6: have as equal as talent as Jalen.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Hurts around him around him, right, And that what he
- 22:55Speaker 3: would try to tell you. And in his day he
- 22:58Speaker 3: had Greg Olsen, he had Steve Smith Senior, Ted jen Is,
- 23:06Speaker 3: Devonte Smith, he had Stewart and what was the other
- 23:10Speaker 3: back Williams. Yes, that as a duo for about two
- 23:14Speaker 3: three years as a duo Batman and Robin and for him.
- 23:20Speaker 3: But we'll come back on the other side, and uh
- 23:24Speaker 3: see what Cam Newton, who setting itself up for a
- 23:28Speaker 3: great late night talk. The Newton effect got to get
- 23:32Speaker 3: him a good get him something different than fourth and.
- 23:35Speaker 1: One goofy hat. Now we see we got to talk.
- 23:39Speaker 1: You got to talk to the image people. We need
- 23:41Speaker 1: the image people.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Right right after this.

- 26:54Speaker 3: Said, go yeah, welcome back to the Sports Shock Show.
- 26:59Speaker 3: I'm the sport Chuck Wayne Canny. Good morning to you
- 27:01Speaker 3: out there enlistening, Man command you, Greg the funny man himself,
- 27:05Speaker 3: Big Kenny, and our man, the bad producer all in
- 27:08Speaker 3: the building, Cam Newton. The what would you say? Cam
- 27:14Speaker 3: is now it will be a word to describe him.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Personality.
- 27:21Speaker 3: The personality, the personality, the dam Newton, the sports personality.
- 27:27Speaker 1: He's not just a former athlete, he's I think transcends
- 27:32Speaker 1: that he's not come something. Yeah, he's not quite an entertainer.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I don't think he's got credentials to be seen as
- 27:39Speaker 1: a full time journalist. He's a personality. Yeah, he's made
- 27:44Speaker 1: himself into someone that you can see doing different things.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Nobody questions why he's in the room, regardless of what
- 27:53Speaker 1: they're doing. Yeah, I'm sure Cam's got something to add
- 27:56Speaker 1: to it.
- 27:56Speaker 3: You see him on the red carpets, you see him
- 27:58Speaker 3: at big events, so starting to get his access to
- 28:01Speaker 3: different movie premieres and all those kind of things up.
- 28:07Speaker 3: So I guess personality is that stage. But as the
- 28:10Speaker 3: quarterback position, he said he felt like Jalen Hurts of
- 28:14Speaker 3: the Eagles was not a top ten a player, And
- 28:19Speaker 3: I when I think about his list or maybe what
- 28:21Speaker 3: he's looking at, I'm just projecting on Cam if I
- 28:26Speaker 3: was to come up with that conclusion, because on my list,
- 28:30Speaker 3: Jalen Hurts is at least ten. But I'm looking at
- 28:34Speaker 3: the totality of the position because that's what you asked
- 28:40Speaker 3: me to look at now, right, not the actual foot were,
- 28:47Speaker 3: arm strength, you know, the technical fundamentals. It's been years
- 28:52Speaker 3: since you really have asked me to look at the fundamentals.
- 28:58Speaker 3: We go all the way back to the Michael vic era.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Now we're in the Lamar Jackson era. You threw that out,
- 29:07Speaker 3: that fundamental He went five, He kept the ball up high,
- 29:12Speaker 3: shoulders spread, how far the ball went behind his head.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Y'all decided that wasn't it because to keep Lamar Jackson
- 29:22Speaker 3: as high as he is, I have to do the
- 29:24Speaker 3: total thing where it doesn't really matter. You throw off
- 29:29Speaker 3: any foot, jump in the air and throw it spinning, duck, roll, flip.
- 29:38Speaker 3: You just want that. Patrick Mahomes plays that. It's a
- 29:40Speaker 3: different It's not a technical game because I can't teach
- 29:43Speaker 3: you what Patrick Mahomes does. They don't do that in drills,
- 29:48Speaker 3: and when they do, they just are doing it in
- 29:50Speaker 3: because they feel that this is that type of player.
- 29:55Speaker 3: He has that kind of charisma. He's not really he's
- 29:59Speaker 3: a jokester. But it works. It worked. But that's not technique.
- 30:05Speaker 3: That thing what Patrick doing and he just flipped it
- 30:07Speaker 3: behind his back. That's not actually of play. But said go,
- 30:12Speaker 3: I see Jalen hurts as today even though he's still
- 30:15Speaker 3: in the league. Russell Wilson, the Russell Wilson at Seattle
- 30:21Speaker 3: is the Jalen Hurts at the Eagles now where he
- 30:27Speaker 3: has a strong old line, a good run game, and
- 30:32Speaker 3: a defense to get as you that's what Seattle, That's
- 30:36Speaker 3: what the Ben Roethlisberger at one point. Now, how much
- 30:41Speaker 3: you feel like he contributes to that. I think Jalen
- 30:44Speaker 3: merps as a component. If he's not starting, you get
- 30:49Speaker 3: worried if he's not on the field to operate it.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Who was the other ten? I mean, who was the
- 30:58Speaker 3: ten that Cam had. I don't know his list of
- 31:02Speaker 3: what was had.
- 31:03Speaker 6: I know he had Tua and Justin Herbert, Jared Goff.
- 31:17Speaker 6: I think he even had like Geno Smith in front
- 31:19Speaker 6: of him, Damn Darnold.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Now I went to a quarterback that went to Auburn,
- 31:25Speaker 3: played a long time in the lead, Jason Campbell, to
- 31:29Speaker 3: get what I feel like would be a neutral perspective
- 31:33Speaker 3: Jay Campbell, and because that's sometimes what you need. You
- 31:37Speaker 3: need to find someone in an area of your life
- 31:40Speaker 3: that just deals with the true facts, not emotional. I
- 31:46Speaker 3: feel like Jay cam he had no dog in the fight.
- 31:49Speaker 3: He did have Jalen Hurts in the top ten. His
- 31:54Speaker 3: list was Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Joe Burrows,
- 32:03Speaker 3: Jaydon Daniels, Jalen Hurts, Justin Herbert, Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff,
- 32:13Speaker 3: Dak Prescott. Now he didn't say which order, which particular
- 32:20Speaker 3: order I have list, but those give me Cam's lists,
- 32:24Speaker 3: all right, This from ten to one. Baker Mayfield, Justin Herbert,
- 32:28Speaker 3: c J. Stroud, Jayden Daniels, Jared Goff, Matt Stafford, Joe Burrow,
- 32:34Speaker 3: Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and see, I would
- 32:39Speaker 3: say Jalen Hurts is better than or plays what better
- 32:45Speaker 3: than Baker Mayfield, check and Bate and c J. Stroud
- 32:51Speaker 3: To this point, I think the street c J. Stroud
- 32:54Speaker 3: has the potential to be a top five, but he
- 32:59Speaker 3: went through his side more slump last year than a
- 33:01Speaker 3: lot of that was he had a lot of people hurt,
- 33:03Speaker 3: a lot of lineup changes.
- 33:04Speaker 1: So we'll see anybody dot number one.
- 33:10Speaker 6: Josh Allen, Josh Allen. I mean there's a debate between
- 33:13Speaker 6: Josh Allen and Lamar Jacks.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I can't believe he got Justin Herbert down that far.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I can see that Justin Herbert hasn't shown the
- 33:27Speaker 3: talent is there? Yeah, Yeah, but we're still him. That's
- 33:31Speaker 3: what I was getting. That was gonna be my last factor?
- 33:34Speaker 3: Or are you just saying talent? Yeah, because you're just
- 33:38Speaker 3: going off of talent, not he's not adding in the
- 33:42Speaker 3: winds and and all those. He's just going off of
- 33:47Speaker 3: who has the most talent, because who has the most
- 33:51Speaker 3: talent doesn't always mean the best. They're the best, right?
- 33:55Speaker 3: Is that true?
- 33:56Speaker 1: But I haven't seen anything. To me. When I see
- 34:02Speaker 1: Justin Herbert, I still think of him as the kid,
- 34:04Speaker 1: the kid, if we could just get the kid, you know,
- 34:06Speaker 1: somebody get behind the kid. And he's been in the
- 34:09Speaker 1: league now, this is six year, about six years, six years,
- 34:13Speaker 1: and he's still the kid. You know what I'm saying.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I'm still looking at him too.
- 34:16Speaker 3: I'm still waiting on him to ride right, to do
- 34:19Speaker 3: that thing that when they got him, we were waiting
- 34:22Speaker 3: on it, and we still kinda waiting on it. Him
- 34:26Speaker 3: and the kid from Arizona the NFL fifteen. They're going
- 34:34Speaker 3: to do the thing he's in year twelve? Now what
- 34:37Speaker 3: are they going to do the thing he's in year twelve? Fourteen?
- 34:43Speaker 3: This is about the year seven. But this debate seems
- 34:46Speaker 3: to be very personal. I don't know if Cam and
- 34:50Speaker 3: Ryan Clark, both who worked at ESPN at different points,
- 34:56Speaker 3: they seem to have been going at each other.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Like the other's opinions matter more than the other.
- 35:03Speaker 6: I had a question about that because in Cam's response,
- 35:07Speaker 6: he brought up Bryan Clark's accolades, and what people do
- 35:15Speaker 6: a lot is bring up someone's accolades as if those
- 35:19Speaker 6: are the like, you got to have a certain kind
- 35:24Speaker 6: of resume to even speak on any of these topics.
- 35:30Speaker 6: It makes it seem like, well, then no one's really
- 35:33Speaker 6: qualified because someone's gonna say that, you know, Clark put
- 35:39Speaker 6: in ten years in the NFL, right right, and that
- 35:44Speaker 6: should be enough. But people that go to the next step,
- 35:46Speaker 6: well he was undrafted, or he played defense, he played defense,
- 35:52Speaker 6: he didnt play offense, or you know, they just keep
- 35:54Speaker 6: going into where like, well then.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Everybody, everybody wants human version of AI. You want to
- 36:01Speaker 1: make all of the factors equal, and that's never been anything.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Brian Clark did. As much as you need to do
- 36:09Speaker 3: as a player to have a legitimate opinion.
- 36:17Speaker 7: Well on the NFL, is that on the NFL only
- 36:20Speaker 7: because Ryan Clark, just like a lot of the ESPN
- 36:23Speaker 7: guys and a lot of guys now, such as Cam,
- 36:26Speaker 7: they have a broad opinion about all sports. So I do,
- 36:31Speaker 7: and and and that's why my point is that at
- 36:34Speaker 7: some point, and I'm with Greg, I think that he
- 36:37Speaker 7: does have an authority on a lot of things. A
- 36:39Speaker 7: lot of people want to shoot down when he speaks
- 36:41Speaker 7: on other subjects. But if he don't speaks on the NFL,
- 36:45Speaker 7: oh yeah, Ryan Clark said this, it's right. But if
- 36:48Speaker 7: he speaks on baseball or basketball, well, you know, he
- 36:52Speaker 7: didn't play basketball, he didn't play baseball, but you can
- 36:55Speaker 7: listen to tell that he's watching sports. He's a sports fan,
- 36:59Speaker 7: and he does his So I think he's authority on
- 37:02Speaker 7: a lot of things he can speak on. And I
- 37:05Speaker 7: don't Cam trying to shoot down his value. I didn't
- 37:10Speaker 7: like that point. And people do the same thing back
- 37:13Speaker 7: to camp. Yeah, and that's enough. Cam shouldn't get his
- 37:16Speaker 7: value shot down.
- 37:18Speaker 1: And and now and and I value the Cam and
- 37:22Speaker 1: the opinions of Ryan Clark in that everyone has an
- 37:26Speaker 1: opinion and yours because of professional athletics, and when you're
- 37:31Speaker 1: talking about the NFL, and subt is informed. But if
- 37:36Speaker 1: Ryan Clark is talking about basketball, you can talk about
- 37:41Speaker 1: basketball from an athlete's perspective, but not from a basketball
- 37:46Speaker 1: NBA basketball players. Some of the criticism that these guys
- 37:51Speaker 1: levy against people is like, you actually know his crossover?
- 37:56Speaker 1: Could You've never crossed anybody over on a court. You've
- 38:00Speaker 1: done all that you could do as a player in
- 38:02Speaker 1: the NFL, but still experience. I've dunked on a person. Yeah,
- 38:09Speaker 1: I'm saying, not in the NBA. Not in the NBA
- 38:12Speaker 1: dunk I know how don't? Yeah, but you know how
- 38:14Speaker 1: to don't. And that's what I'm saying.
- 38:15Speaker 3: I had a home run, I played in a marching band,
- 38:18Speaker 3: I throwing a shot put, and I have sung at weddings.
- 38:24Speaker 1: It's experience.
- 38:25Speaker 7: That's called resume on your resume, That's what That's what
- 38:28Speaker 7: I try to say all the time. If you've done
- 38:30Speaker 7: it before, if he did something, or even no matter
- 38:32Speaker 7: what level, your experienced and you tried.
- 38:35Speaker 1: It, and I'm saying, uh, experience, Well, experience and expertise
- 38:41Speaker 1: are a different thing. That and that is correct, correct,
- 38:44Speaker 1: All right, there we go. Experience and expertise are two
- 38:47Speaker 1: different things.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Yeah. I think Ryan Clark seems to be a person
- 38:51Speaker 3: who he covers a lot of sports, right, so he
- 38:56Speaker 3: has you know. I saw that part where Cam was
- 38:58Speaker 3: trying to make it seem like he he didn't have
- 39:00Speaker 3: I don't know what even when he said undrafted, I
- 39:03Speaker 3: was confused. What him being undrafted have to do with
- 39:10Speaker 3: knowing the game? Well, he was number one, so they
- 39:14Speaker 3: would it be boy? They had to think about it
- 39:16Speaker 3: with you.
- 39:23Speaker 5: You can't join the game if you ain't no suiting
- 39:25Speaker 5: the state where he played.
- 39:26Speaker 1: That's a staple that you left and was being two edged.
- 39:28Speaker 5: I hate that the game. I really have been popping
- 39:30Speaker 5: my throne out on another level, you playing.

- 42:12Speaker 1: Jany welcome back to the show. I'm this what shock
- 42:15Speaker 1: wing ken.
- 42:16Speaker 3: We left just talking about Cam Newton and really kind
- 42:19Speaker 3: of watered it down to just getting around to what
- 42:23Speaker 3: a lot of people talk about with opinion. I think
- 42:25Speaker 3: Big Kenny COMANCHI, Greg Babyducer A lot of times what
- 42:31Speaker 3: happens is where if you haven't played a sport, because
- 42:41Speaker 3: being at a free throw line with two seconds to go,
- 42:45Speaker 3: and being in the battle's box with two outs, and
- 42:52Speaker 3: being on the NFL game with twelve seconds and this
- 42:55Speaker 3: is the last play. All those are the same moments
- 42:59Speaker 3: very much so with a different just different, uh focus
- 43:03Speaker 3: focus that a different different. Yeah, this is it, this
- 43:08Speaker 3: is it either gonna happen or it's gonna be over.
- 43:11Speaker 3: Although dropping dropping the baseball that would have won the
- 43:14Speaker 3: game and dropping the football that you know, listen, all
- 43:19Speaker 3: those are the same thing, I think sometimes and it
- 43:21Speaker 3: is just Steven eight is a solid reporter. Yes, Steven
- 43:29Speaker 3: eight rupts people wrong because in his verbiage, in his posture,
- 43:36Speaker 3: he acts like he was in the mix. Yes, you
- 43:44Speaker 3: can report on the war, yes, and you can fight
- 43:47Speaker 3: the war, yes, yes, yes, And if you forget that
- 43:53Speaker 3: you was just reporting on.
- 43:55Speaker 1: The war, he started thinking, you're a soldier and you
- 43:58Speaker 1: go to talking to Rambow, Yeah, like you was out
- 44:02Speaker 1: there in the mud with him. You Brian Williams, Right now, that's.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Where the little key words you keep saying, where Kevin
- 44:15Speaker 3: Durant will listen to a stephen A And then now
- 44:20Speaker 3: you're going too far, Yeah you don't. You're you're never
- 44:24Speaker 3: in a position to say somebody is a bomb ever, ever, never, never,
- 44:31Speaker 3: shacky is whether I agreement with Sack or not. If
- 44:33Speaker 3: you and say god, Javel McGee, bomb and then you know,
- 44:38Speaker 3: you know, we just gonna have to you know. But
- 44:44Speaker 3: and that's that's with him, and that's as far and
- 44:47Speaker 3: that's why he's starting to at least from the athletic point,
- 44:52Speaker 3: his ship is starting to sink. And he arrived in
- 44:57Speaker 3: an era where people like to talk that way. I
- 45:00Speaker 3: gotta tell you, I'll go to the barbershop. How many
- 45:03Speaker 3: times I've been in the barber shop and these guys
- 45:05Speaker 3: somebody in there. I swear they can guard somebody in
- 45:09Speaker 3: the NBA. You should hear them. Never played basketball and
- 45:14Speaker 3: he saw I shut him down. They played in the
- 45:18Speaker 3: period you're saying, you shut Joe Johnson down last night.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Down.
- 45:24Speaker 3: I'm talking about down. I was out there.
- 45:27Speaker 1: ISO doesn't stand for how tall, and they can guard Joe,
- 45:32Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. They call him ISO cuts one
- 45:35Speaker 1: on one?
- 45:39Speaker 3: What what are you thinking?
- 45:40Speaker 5: What do you do?
- 45:41Speaker 20: You know what?
- 45:42Speaker 1: Well, let's start at the beginning. Do you know what
- 45:43Speaker 1: ISO means? That's what I'm saying.
- 45:45Speaker 3: But they'll sit there and they'll tell you how I
- 45:47Speaker 3: shut Joe. Remember when no, I don't and I laugh,
- 45:52Speaker 3: you know, or they they would have done this if
- 45:56Speaker 3: they were the quarterback and I told somebody the other day.
- 45:59Speaker 3: I used to go home and everybody. I'll go home
- 46:02Speaker 3: and I walk by people and they always do this.
- 46:05Speaker 3: It's like slap rip. I'll just be walking down the
- 46:09Speaker 3: breezeway and they know me. Boy, I got you, you
- 46:11Speaker 3: know like you know so your mind, that's what that's
- 46:15Speaker 3: what you think happens. Yes see, I remember when I
- 46:18Speaker 3: would hit you with that's how you got to do right, Yeah,
- 46:22Speaker 3: just do that and that'll get you a sack. Is
- 46:25Speaker 3: that's what you think Derek Thomas was doing to me?
- 46:27Speaker 3: Of course I was told. I was told you go
- 46:31Speaker 3: take you some martial arts. When I learned how to
- 46:33Speaker 3: work straight up with my Wednesday.
- 46:42Speaker 4: He was.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Now and this man said he was told to go
- 46:49Speaker 1: take some martial arts classes, and so now he thinks
- 46:53Speaker 1: he could work my hands. Yeah, I can't work my
- 46:55Speaker 1: hands and get through a block. He got you and
- 46:57Speaker 1: he and now he'd have took up ten minutes of
- 46:59Speaker 1: your time telling you that I could work, because you
- 47:02Speaker 1: know when I was in my karate jiu jitsu class yellow,
- 47:08Speaker 1: he telling you, Now I see and now you on
- 47:10Speaker 1: some brother, I just I just want to pay for
- 47:12Speaker 1: the cheese. I didn't want to go home, sir, don't let.
- 47:18Speaker 3: That man fool you hands too now, not only that's
- 47:22Speaker 3: so funny, Tyreek Hill into attack with oh down in Miami.
- 47:26Speaker 3: Gotta work some things out at the end of the season.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Tyreek Hill the the brilliant receiver that he is. I mean,
- 47:35Speaker 3: arguably at some point you got to think about Hall
- 47:38Speaker 3: of Fame for his effect. No one has been more
- 47:42Speaker 3: dangerous in the last four or five years. Big play Tyreek.
- 47:48Speaker 3: But he did at the end of the Dolphins last
- 47:51Speaker 3: season kind of put out in the universe the Duke
- 47:56Speaker 3: sign piece out as though he was leaving the Dolphin
- 48:02Speaker 3: and to attack the oil the man underneath the center
- 48:05Speaker 3: that we hope can peace. Has he ever played a
- 48:08Speaker 3: full season? Played the full season? You knowed?
- 48:14Speaker 1: No, you know how if he bump him too hard,
- 48:16Speaker 1: he got to pull him out. He played one one
- 48:19Speaker 1: full No, but he's on top ten. Now stop, No,
- 48:23Speaker 1: I'm not saying he's not talented. I'm just sending the
- 48:25Speaker 1: boy fragile. I'm not saying he's not talented.
- 48:31Speaker 3: So they're trying to put that back together. And I
- 48:36Speaker 3: know some of you reading it and it seems like
- 48:39Speaker 3: not a big thing, but it is in the locker
- 48:42Speaker 3: room of belief. There's one or two moments that show
- 48:47Speaker 3: up that you want to believe. We're all out here
- 48:52Speaker 3: willing to put it all out. And when you make
- 48:54Speaker 3: that kind of statement, Now what Toua and some of
- 48:57Speaker 3: your teammates are thinking, did you sell out to catch
- 49:03Speaker 3: that slant because you said it was peace out? So
- 49:08Speaker 3: when that slant that safety was sitting in there, is
- 49:11Speaker 3: that why you didn't go in there?
- 49:12Speaker 1: Big Kenny, Well, I'm trying to stay healthy for my
- 49:15Speaker 1: next position. Nah, you know, do you understand where I'm going?
- 49:20Speaker 1: I mean, or when something might be something might be
- 49:23Speaker 1: hurting Jazz a little?
- 49:24Speaker 3: Could you have played through?
- 49:26Speaker 5: It?
- 49:27Speaker 1: Ain't no sense in playing for these people, which would
- 49:30Speaker 1: limit me throwing your way. I don't know if he
- 49:33Speaker 1: gonna stretch out and get it. He used to go
- 49:36Speaker 1: get it, but he might not fish time.
- 49:38Speaker 3: And it's still true today, no matter how big the
- 49:40Speaker 3: game gets or how much money, the principles of it's
- 49:44Speaker 3: still the same. That trust factor is a belief and
- 49:47Speaker 3: some people feel that way but are never found out.
- 49:52Speaker 3: But to actually tell me you kind of I.
- 49:57Speaker 1: You know, you thought I was gonna try to dive
- 50:01Speaker 1: over three people. You did that to yourself.
- 50:09Speaker 3: Unto go to a p AI chat and put in
- 50:14Speaker 3: should I trust Tyreek Hill? What would you think it
- 50:16Speaker 3: would say, Hey, Alan iverson a artificial intelligence, should I
- 50:22Speaker 3: trust Tyreek Hill?
- 50:23Speaker 1: I mean it would say, mister big chest, mister big Chat.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I don't even know if command Greg is really sitting there. Yeah, yeah,
- 50:30Speaker 1: we know, who knows.
- 50:31Speaker 3: We'll be back with more sports. Right after that, he.
- 50:36Speaker 5: Rodnicks Home Family cropping it. I'm the same, I live,
- 50:39Speaker 5: try nothing in everybody that I said, I'm putting this
- 50:41Speaker 5: on the sea from the sets and then asked me
- 50:44Speaker 5: by the next matter fact, I'm the seat.
- 50:47Speaker 8: John Boy, Wayne Born of the Sports John Show with
- 50:50Speaker 8: Wayne Gambidios coming up next.
- 50:52Speaker 21: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 50:55Speaker 21: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 50:59Speaker 21: It's a powerful old It often made illegally and commonly
- 51:02Speaker 21: mixed with illicit drugs. It can even be pressed into
- 51:05Speaker 21: counterfeit pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about
- 51:09Speaker 21: the size of a few grains of sand, could potentially
- 51:12Speaker 21: be lethal. This isn't an ad to scare you, but

- 51:55Speaker 3: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Center Court on sports news gossip blah blah blah blah blah.
- 52:11Speaker 1: People legally licked to go the ways of Louise.
- 52:13Speaker 23: Louisel goes to Basol, Louise goes Louise, Oh, Louisel.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Goes the Wise Louise. Louiseis goes to Baso.
- 52:25Speaker 23: Louise goes the Besso those Bazo Louise.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Welc back to this War Shock show.
- 52:35Speaker 3: I'm in this War Shock Wing can d anyone is
- 52:39Speaker 3: any update on prime time coach Deon Sanders of the
- 52:43Speaker 3: Colorado Buffalo's has been absent with the team right for
- 52:47Speaker 3: maybe a month.
- 52:48Speaker 6: He's back with the team and he's been making a
- 52:52Speaker 6: couple of other appearances. But they are still whatever health
- 52:56Speaker 6: issues there are, they they're still there. Just three just
- 53:00Speaker 6: don't know what the details, but he's still having whatever
- 53:05Speaker 6: health issues there were.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I know when I saw him at the Big
- 53:10Speaker 3: twelve media day, he made it to that. I think
- 53:14Speaker 3: I mentioned that about a week and a half two
- 53:16Speaker 3: weeks ago when he went to that. He still look
- 53:20Speaker 3: no matter what has gone on over the last couple
- 53:23Speaker 3: of years, this was the first time that he had
- 53:26Speaker 3: a disposition as though he was ill. And I'm quite
- 53:32Speaker 3: sure his body is doing a lot of fighting and
- 53:35Speaker 3: trying to battle whatever's going on with the circulation problems.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Hopefully nothing comes up where he has to have more amputation.
- 53:44Speaker 3: But he was That's what it sounds like. Maybe you know,
- 53:47Speaker 3: I know he had that apartment syndrome where he had
- 53:51Speaker 3: to cut open one of his calves. And I have
- 53:54Speaker 3: a great friend James Bostic, he was my running back.
- 53:58Speaker 3: He actually had undone when he was a senior in
- 54:02Speaker 3: high school and then one done right before he got
- 54:06Speaker 3: drafted when we left Auburn, and it was because in
- 54:10Speaker 3: his calf if he twists or his ankle, there's no
- 54:15Speaker 3: place for blood to flow right and apartment. I'm quite
- 54:21Speaker 3: sure there's some technical name at his call, but I
- 54:24Speaker 3: just remember it was more like compartments. So they almost
- 54:26Speaker 3: have to go in there and kind of open up
- 54:28Speaker 3: some area for swelling. And I think with Prime in
- 54:32Speaker 3: the what seems to be some type of diabetes type
- 54:37Speaker 3: issues because they did take off what two toes or
- 54:40Speaker 3: three toes off one of his feet, and I think
- 54:41Speaker 3: one time they thought about they was gonna have to
- 54:43Speaker 3: take the whole, but like the knee, So I'm quite
- 54:47Speaker 3: sure it's a lot. And I was even saying, you know,
- 54:50Speaker 3: even back then when he came back for Jackson State
- 54:53Speaker 3: that year on the little roller, I was, that's a
- 54:55Speaker 3: lot coaches as far as that standing thing, a ball day,
- 55:01Speaker 3: that kind of stuff right there, A lot of them
- 55:03Speaker 3: end up eating bad because they're just working this kind
- 55:06Speaker 3: of tireless job. They just grabbing stuff. For a coach
- 55:12Speaker 3: to eat healthy, they would have to really almost have
- 55:17Speaker 3: that be the only thing the kitchen serves for the
- 55:20Speaker 3: whole coaching staff. Yeah, like that's all that's available.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Yeah, or it'd be such a conscious effort that you know,
- 55:31Speaker 1: it's meal time. Take coach, this meal, it's meal time.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Don't forget. This is what you have to eat for
- 55:38Speaker 1: lunch type of thing like a meal prep. And I'm
- 55:41Speaker 1: quite sure that's probably what he's on to this point.
- 55:44Speaker 1: But does let's see how this season goes.
- 55:46Speaker 3: I don't know who the assistant head coach out there,
- 55:49Speaker 3: but at any moment that coach could be put in
- 55:52Speaker 3: a position to where they have to be the head
- 55:56Speaker 3: coach as we see, but them having these medical maybe
- 56:00Speaker 3: to go up to the booth, because we're even in
- 56:03Speaker 3: Colorado that September October are warm months and that's standing
- 56:10Speaker 3: standing up idea. I'm quite sure it's not good. I'm
- 56:16Speaker 3: quite sure without even that his doctor was not happy
- 56:21Speaker 3: when he last year. Yeah, where he was doing the
- 56:25Speaker 3: whole standing and the whole time.
- 56:28Speaker 1: They were telling him all the travel and the other appearances. Yeah,
- 56:33Speaker 1: because that travel is very strenuous and when you've got circulations, Yeah,
- 56:38Speaker 1: sitting for a long time, uh, pressure rise and pressurized
- 56:43Speaker 1: flights does affect your circulation. Even on international flights, they'll
- 56:48Speaker 1: tell you to stand for a few minutes or massage
- 56:51Speaker 1: your legs during the flight so it's not to develop
- 56:54Speaker 1: blood clot.
- 56:54Speaker 3: So Prime, please take care of yourself and let's stay
- 56:58Speaker 3: on that sideline. Man. You you make reporting sports fun.
- 57:02Speaker 3: You always have. Prime is the first. That's why the
- 57:07Speaker 3: bad producer ever. Prime was the first superstar type player
- 57:11Speaker 3: I ever actually watched. When I first went to a
- 57:15Speaker 3: got recruited me and my friend Field. We drove up
- 57:19Speaker 3: to Florida State. I was a junior in high school
- 57:23Speaker 3: and they gave me two tickets to come to the
- 57:25Speaker 3: game because I thought I might go to Florida State.
- 57:27Speaker 3: And the crowd was just yelling I didn't because I
- 57:32Speaker 3: didn't really keep up with Florida State. And it was
- 57:35Speaker 3: this dude on the opposite forty the crowd. He was
- 57:39Speaker 3: in the offense. I forget who that. I think it
- 57:42Speaker 3: was Clemson was about the punt and the stadium kept
- 57:45Speaker 3: yelling Prime. It was this primetime guy. I don't know
- 57:52Speaker 3: this primetime guy. And the guy was like, no, watch,
- 57:55Speaker 3: don take it back, oh d on is prime time? Okay,
- 58:00Speaker 3: don't return punts. They're making it like this is the
- 58:02Speaker 3: most exciting part of the game. You got to realize,
- 58:04Speaker 3: like you know, and Brian caught the punt, stood there
- 58:11Speaker 3: for a second like he wasn't going to return it,
- 58:13Speaker 3: and broke off. Remember that game and you were like, oh, okay,
- 58:23Speaker 3: you started about about thirty yards into the sixty yards.
- 58:27Speaker 3: You were like, I have to know some guys who
- 58:29Speaker 3: was on that Clempson team, Like, yeah, it was you
- 58:33Speaker 3: know he did at Clemson, also at Florida State, and
- 58:36Speaker 3: then the next year at.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Climpson Travis Hunter.
- 58:41Speaker 3: His father was alerted or arrested as we go to
- 58:46Speaker 3: break It stems from something about his monitor.
- 58:50Speaker 1: He was outside of a region for about eleven minutes.
- 58:55Speaker 1: When you monitor, you got a saw they playing with
- 58:58Speaker 1: this man you got And we've all been there, We've
- 59:01Speaker 1: all had to monitor and been outside of the little
- 59:05Speaker 1: area where he's supposed to be outside of And my
- 59:07Speaker 1: right man put it on his dog. Next time putting
- 59:10Speaker 1: on your dog, take it off and just hook it
- 59:12Speaker 1: on it on the monitor, been outside your range.
- 59:16Speaker 3: No, I haven't asked, said you can't hook it to
- 59:18Speaker 3: your dog. Okay, never mind, you can't take these I
- 59:22Speaker 3: talked to that charity event. You take it off and
- 59:25Speaker 3: just leave it with you, and when you need to
- 59:28Speaker 3: leave the house, you put it on your dog or
- 59:30Speaker 3: your animal.
- 59:32Speaker 6: You're not supposed to take him off. I don't know
- 59:34Speaker 6: where you're getting that from.
- 59:35Speaker 1: You can't take it off though.
- 59:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I was wondering that was gonna we're talking about
- 59:38Speaker 3: on the other side of the break, I was trying
- 59:40Speaker 3: to figure out the part where he said he had
- 59:42Speaker 3: left it in the other room.
- 59:43Speaker 1: You can take it off. And then sometime they got
- 59:46Speaker 1: the video monitor. You don't have the ankle momitor.
- 59:48Speaker 3: They got one this video sir, sir, I mean excuse they.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Call that testifying to you start. I'm talking about monitoring
- 59:59Speaker 1: home house risk.
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: These blue tips studies much step welcome down.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: But that teacher want to live.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: I didn't think it's cool and got paper like Lizzy, I'm.
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: Sign don't go awayne Born of the sports Josh Yo
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: with Wayne Gandias dumbing up next.
- 1:00:19Speaker 24: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 1:00:22Speaker 24: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 1:00:25Speaker 24: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 1:00:28Speaker 24: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 1:00:31Speaker 24: they may not know how to ask with my traditions,
- 1:00:35Speaker 24: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 1:00:38Speaker 24: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 1:00:42Speaker 24: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 1:00:44Speaker 24: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 1:00:48Speaker 24: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that

- 1:01:00Speaker 24: I'm a home and being able to put on that smile.
- 1:01:02Speaker 24: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 1:01:06Speaker 24: and watching your kids be happy.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Never stop being a dad.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: That's dedication.

- 1:01:50Speaker 5: Come come, Tolk, Is it just.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: I'm a do Yeah, I'm gonna go.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: Welcome back to this one shock show. I'm in this
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: sport Shock Winn Gennigam Morning to you out there listening.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: Land glad to be here with you as we are
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: on the road to NFL college high school football. Basepall
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: is in its second half, w NBA in its second half,
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: a lot of big things coming up. On the tennis circuit,
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: Venus Williams at forty five years old winning a match.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: They said she's the second oldest they ever win a
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: singles match on the pro tour at forty five years
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: of age, and I'm quite sure that's very satisfying. I
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: know over the last eight ten years, as she was
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: diagnosed with a certain issue that brought about fatigue. I
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: don't know the name of it, but I do know
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: one of the components of it was that it fatigue
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: her fast. And you used to see it in her
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: play that if she could beat the opponent quickly, she
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: was good. She would win the match. But the other players,
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: being smart, playing smart. You could see them instead of
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: going for the wind, they jumping out. They was rallying.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: I'm just keep the ball back, Venus. I feed you
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: enough of these balls. You like a deer sell, you know,
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: come off, No, just get it back. And I got
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: to get it out of the corner. He got two
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: of us, and that's how they were playing. They were
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: just trying to make it along in the fourth sets. Yeah,
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: you know, you take this little match. Yeah, she was
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: wearing down and then they make the match long, kind
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: of liking boxing, try to get a certain fighter. Certain
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: fighters were always you know that hadn't been in those
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: fifth or past that. Mike Tyson. Yeah, a lot of
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: people scratching. She was to try the.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Time up till until about the fifth, sixth round because
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: he only went about two. His max was three in
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: his heyday, so to get him much farther past that
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: he was be worn out.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Yeah, So we will see how Venus plays as the
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: season goes on. Kellen Winslow the second California Supreme Court
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: denies resentencing bid by former NFL star. He got fourteen
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: years if you remember for all those rape of a
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: homeless woman. I think he was on charges of a
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: couple of other situations, something about maybe an athletic gym.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Yeah, serial, he had some serial rape allegations.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: But he received fourteen. He's trying to get it reduced down,
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: but the Supreme Court are upholding that he's going to
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: have to serve far serve his time so I'm sorry
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: he lost his whole career. Young man who first two
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: years looked like he's gonna contest what his dad had done,
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: and Kellen Winslow Senior and like he was on that path.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: To and and uh, sometimes I think of another great
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: quarter damn fouls. I'm just thinking of great quarterbacks that
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: never really won.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: Non Winslow and those teams, Schottenheimer and all those guys
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: that that was.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: That was some showtime. But for uh, Kellen Winslow Senior.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I often think about him and how staunchly and often
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: he defended his son when he was in the NFL,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: and how he was always an advocate for you know,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: he's a talented kid that just doing young kids stuff.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: And then we start to see that maybe it was
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: something more with his behavior than just you know, being
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: a kid, And I just hate to see that for
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: a dad who has to, you know, just sit back
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: and watch your son unravel that way. And some kids
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: just like, I mean, he's not a kid. Now, he's
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: forty two years old, but some he's older than Greg.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: Some people it's similar to Darren Sharper. When people used
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: to ask me about Darren Sharper and I said, you know,
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: there are personalities men and women that getting away with
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: something is a thrill to them. It's not that it's
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: necessarily they have so much malician malice in their heart
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: as much of getting away with it. The smallest thing
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: turns them on that they got away and it just
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: keeps snowballing. And I use the Darren Sharper to be
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: one of those things, you know, for how the man
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: looks successful, good looking guy, good career. You could argue
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: he could be in the Hall of Fame. You know,
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: he had all the pieces. And I always say, I said,
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: somebody introduced him to something that he went and did,
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: and he got away with it, and then he wanted
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: to see if he could get away with it again,
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: and then it just became now you're in trouble. That's
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: how Kellen Winslow almost like you know, he's mischievous.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: I had as I have a friend who once confided
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: in me that his high risk activity he equated it
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: to it's like trying to see how close you can
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: get to the stove without getting burned, like you know
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: a lot of You know, man, you you ain't got
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: that much time to give them the state, you know,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying, you need to relax, But he was
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: like that, bro, I know, but it just seems like,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: you know, trying to see how close I can get
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: to the stove without getting burned, and each time it works,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: I just want to see how much more it'll work.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: And you know that's a that's a scary place to be,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: depending on what your predilections are.
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: Well, I mean, it's scary when you hear people like
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: that have drug addiction like this on heroine or something.
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: They want to find out if somebody od they want
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: to You've heard these stories with it, Oh where can
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: you get that?
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: They want to know?
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: Because that's apparently some good stuff. They just didn't know
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: how to paste theirselfs on it. So and you have
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: people with that type of addiction in that manner, I
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: completely understand. I myself have always been driven by the
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: curiosity of what what is the limit?
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: What is the the outside the line? How far can
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you go outside the line without it being too far
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: outside the line? Do you just not understand because you've
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: never gone outside the line that kind.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Of But I've seen enough people go outside the line
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: and they look stupid. That makes me like, yeah, I
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: don't want.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: That, and that's where the thrill seeker mind disconnects.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Oh all, but at some point in time you have
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: to say, is my actions that's gonna come along with
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: that thrill seeking gonna make me look stupid?
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Or am I gonna be be embarrassed days later? And
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: your rational mind overpowers what got Kellen Winslow and the
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Darren Sharper's in trouble. They can't sleep. It's what has
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: oftentimes gotten me right up to the brink of man.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: You know, this could have went way horribly the other
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: way because I can't sleep without testing the limit.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: And that's the difference. Well, let's see how this turns out.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: Hopefully it'll be out by the time he's fifty.
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: You say, fourteen, he's got ten more years if he
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: if they if they're if they wanted to do the full.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Well no, no, no, not that he's been to the
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Supreme Court. He don't got to t ain't no more appeals. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: he would just free Supreme Parole Board. He's stilling his
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: hands for parole and you go up for parole every
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: three years. He's only got ten to do. The Supreme
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Court said no, So that's gonna kick him at least
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: maybe five more years before he's up for a parole consideration.
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: They say, nah, he got to do anohing. You will
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: do the whole teen trust me. And if he got
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: a judge like me, I don't believe in parole for
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: murder and rape at all.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: So that there's that consideration, and I got the Supreme
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Court back in me saying, nah, you need to stay.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, that Supreme Court, that that appeal.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: You gotta be careful what you asked for because once
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: you get it and you lose it. You stole a
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: snickerbar at QT when you were twelve. I can work
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: with you. Yeah, but you're raping homeless women. Ain't she
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: got it hard enough? Yeah, you're raping homeless women, elderly women.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Going back to your mansion. Come on, you want me
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: to have what for you? Come on?
- 1:11:13Speaker 24: Man?
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: Come on, man?
- 1:11:15Speaker 24: Are you serious?
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: Man?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Hey? Look, I said nothing about man or anything. You
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: said he'd be up for parole.
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: Russell Wilson is going to be quarterback one for the Giants,
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: Like Russell's going to get another chance. And we figured
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: this with the Giants that the order would be Russell Wilson,
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: and they brought in Jameis Winston, who has decided to
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: be the modern day Charlie Batch.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: He's strong.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: Think he went to New Orleans. He didn't put up
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: a fight to start there. Now he went to Cleveland.
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: He went there to do what he did back up
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: and that's what he's and.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Now he with New York and he you know, Russ gone.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: You know that in this wee we and I'm strong.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: You strong, were strong.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: So Russell Wilson will be QB one at least now
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: at what is Russell thirty six, thirty seven, thirty six, yeah,
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: years old, trying to find himself again. And when you
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: have these older quarterbacks are similar to the stillers with
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers. Not only you have to play great defense,
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: you have to find some semblance of a running game.
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: If for you that love these older quarterbacks, the one
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: or two that had success, you have to go back
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: and remember your memory and remember Peyton Manning. The Denver
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: defense with number one, number two in the league, had
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: nice running back. They had to run. They could run
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: the ball at your young man, I forget his name,
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: but that year he was like a Pro Bowl runner.
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: Same thing with Tom Rady. Defense was terrific that year
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: for the Buffs at C. J. Anderson and they had
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: a run game at least for that year. It doesn't
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: have to be a polit bona fide name that you know,
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: but whoever was running the ball that year had a
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: breakout season. And that's what you need for any of
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: these teams. That's counting on any of these quarterbacks that
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: are in year fifteen plus, that's what you're gonna need.
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: We'll be back more to the Sports Jock Show. Right
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: after this.

- 1:16:54Speaker 3: he was born. That's that's about as far as we
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: go with it. Is sixty six years old. One of
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: the great. Helen Mirren is eighty years old. Is Helen
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: Mirren still as sharp when you watch her movies? She
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: was in the last thing I saw in was nineteen
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: nineteen twenty twenty three, and then.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Gangland, Gangland, And she's isn't she in? Uh back in
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: action with Jamie Fox and Cameron Diaz.
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Yeah, she's eighty years old and still delivering the good.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: Yes, very much so.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Kate Beckhamsall is fifty two years of age from Earth

- 1:18:02Speaker 1: like nah, that's ver Dean, baby, ver Dean.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: What I wonder what his real name was, Vernon, but
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: he's still got that long jet black perm to seventy
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: four Veron. Alvin Kamara is thirty years of age. Bryce
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: Young and with Alvin Kamara and a lot of guys
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: I always talk about at the running back position for
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: how the position changed. I wonder if they're gonna switch
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: out criteria for guys like Alan Kamara, because it's more
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: about effect than it is numbers for running backs now
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: in a sense, Yeah, he set up for them to.
- 1:18:48Speaker 14: Go for.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Thirty carries. Yeah, you're gonna do twenty carries, and he's
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: gonna get that. But now we just need him. It's
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: eight ten touches, you call it touches. Yeah, no matter
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: where you get it from, you just get the ball.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: He said it. He just get about ten touches perk.
- 1:19:04Speaker 7: That's another one of those young men we saw on
- 1:19:06Speaker 7: a Friday night eight eighteen years old and you saying
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: he's thirty and I'm just sitting there.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: Thinking we was watching his high school playoff. You think
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: a year old, that's what you're thinking. Alvin Kamara is
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: thirty years old. Bryce Young of the Panthers twenty four
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: d b woodside. Good actor is fifty six. Matt LeBlanc
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: fifty eight. Rick Fox, who was a solid NBA player,
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: always there, always reliable, fifty six years old, The second
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: greatest to ever do it at the power forward position.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: Karl Malone the mail is sixty two. The male man delivered,
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: the delivers rain snow, neither snow, sleep nor a dark
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: of night would prevent him from delivering other than Tim Duncan,
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: the greatest power.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Hey, that ain't that ain't a weather condition, sir, that
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: ain't the fundamental I say nighttime or blizzards only, and
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: I only.
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: Give for you this out there. Tim Dungan is my
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: greatest power.
- 1:20:06Speaker 17: For it.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: I put him in front of Karl along simply because
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: of the impact Tim did defensively. Yes, he was truly
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: a two way play every night. Carl was good and
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: slippery because he would steal the ball. But Carl had
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: more points. He scored more, and that was his job.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: But Tim gonna stand in the paint and put up
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: his hands and shepherd's feet from side side.
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: All fundamental basics. Michelle Williams is forty seven. Jeremy Piven,
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: we haven't seen a lot of him, and anything he's sixty.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Hey, y'all, that Unthourage man, that thing still Unthorage is
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: doing it. We hadn't seen him because we ain't in Ibiza.
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: Delonte West forty two. Sundra Bullock is sixty one. Action
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: star Jason Stadium is fifty eight. Mick Jack girl who
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: probably got so many stories about Ozzie Osbourne.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Uh now he got stories about Keith his running mate.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: We got plenty of oz stories.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: He got real Mick trying to remember stories from yesterday.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Right now, you got Ozzie Alice Cooper. He just he
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: just as shocked as us that today is his birthday.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: And he called Keith Richardson and said, hey, Keith, he
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: telling he' telling that story about the Kowanas and the panda.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: And then Ozzie walked in and it got weird, and
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: it got because you're confused. Yeah, that's me and Keith
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: were in a Maine show, right Mike, and we goughtless donkey,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: and then in walk Ausie and things got weird.
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: Ozzie Osborne passing away at the age of seventy six
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: years old, which for how Ozzie was shuffling the cards
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: is a long life. Seventy six years old, Mick Jagger
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: eighty two. Emily Richards from the Arrow series, she played Felicity.
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: She's thirty four. Elizabeth Moss from The Handsmade Tail she's
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: forty three, and Pakwa Paquin excuse me? Is forty three.
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: She's from True Blood, True Blood? Who else do we
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: have here? Kyle Kuzma is three zero. Rose Byrne is
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: forty six years old. Kyle Kuzma was thirty years old.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: Kadeem Hardison is sixty. The greatest baseball player I have
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: ever seen is Barry Bonds. He's sixty one. And last,
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: but not Lease from the Block. Jenny Lopez years old.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: Jenny, See so.
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: The one from the block, not the one that forst
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: Beer see seeuse No, you already had somebody for I said, Jenny,
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: don't tell me who that was. You know, I got
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: a little mutant in me too, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: I like I mix it up with the little strange stuff.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: So I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go with my mutant
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: super powers. But then Jenny from the Block them broke
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: them all. She done broke down the Hollywood guys, the
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: sports dudes, the rap moguls. She done, crushed them all
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: to so Jenny from the block clunk Claw, I just
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: crushed me, crush me.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Destroyed my life and let me rebuild again.
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: Jenny, I mean you know you don't want what was
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: her name, sukiokik stack House.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: I mean you know the woman that will bite you
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: and suck the life. Actually sound a lot like Jim.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: Real life, real light and changed you forever now like
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: real life, he ain't from.
- 1:24:01Speaker 5: My statement, you should No, don't take this. Hey, we
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: always say we keep our whipss. My mama from a
- 1:24:08Speaker 5: she sloaded down for me at.
- 1:24:11Speaker 8: Don't go awayne board of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: Wayne Danbias coming up next, And now let's talk about
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: something exciting, life insurance.
- 1:24:23Speaker 9: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:24:26Speaker 9: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:24:30Speaker 9: have life insurance.
- 1:24:31Speaker 26: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:24:33Speaker 26: just getting started with our family and thought we lived
- 1:24:35Speaker 26: forever life insurance.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:24:38Speaker 13: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:24:41Speaker 26: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:24:43Speaker 26: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:24:45Speaker 26: survived without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:24:47Speaker 26: the insurance informant.
- 1:24:48Speaker 9: Information gives you power and life. Insurance gives your family
- 1:24:51Speaker 9: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:24:53Speaker 26: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:24:56Speaker 26: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:24:58Speaker 9: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five fifty, whether
- 1:25:00Speaker 9: you earn a little or a lot, All you need

- 1:25:21Speaker 16: My mom has taken up going to the park to
- 1:25:24Speaker 16: practice yoga.
- 1:25:25Speaker 13: My dad's going to a club, but not a book club,
- 1:25:28Speaker 13: a salsa club.
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: Finding new hobbies comes with age.
- 1:25:31Speaker 22: My mom has started getting lost and not knowing where
- 1:25:34Speaker 22: she's going.
- 1:25:35Speaker 27: Becoming lost or disoriented doesn't Confusion with time or place
- 1:25:39Speaker 27: may be a sign of Alzheimer's. An early diagnosis can

- 1:26:02Speaker 2: Have been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: Welcome back to the spot Shock Show.
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy, been canny commands, Greg
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: bat producer in the building.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: Guys. We got some comments on line. Yes, yes, we do,
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: uh from our lower listeners online from the top of
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: the first hour where we were talking about the Cavender
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: Twins and how people are willing to admit that they're fake.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Uncle Charlie said, oh Lord, Sports Shock, those big booties
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: are fake. My whole day is gone. Good morning, So
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: you can ruin Uncle Charlie's life like a vampire. Keith
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Ramsey said, Lebron James lives rent free in a lot
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: of people's minds, which is a hard, cold fact. There's
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: times when you could be talking about Carl Malone and
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: somebody go, oh, but Lebron Jamee And we don't even
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: know why, but they bring up the Lebron James Elder.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: Kate Lamar Hugh we says, experience Trump's talk. So when
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: we're talking about the Ryan Clark and the Cam Newton's
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: commenting on other sports, he believes that experienced Trump's talk,
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: which why he probably called us jail house lawyers. When
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: we was talking about Kevin Slow and Uncle Charlie said,
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: don't say that too was fragile because he might start
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: stressing like Cam Newton.
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: Uncle Charlie said that he gott have got him a
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: big tattoo Warriors tattoo last year, didn't he Yeah, he
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: wouldn't got my Warrior's tattoo to be a little tougher.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: Okay. Uh, and then also eld the case. He said,
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: anything outside the line is in all caps, outside the line.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: I'm always trying to see how far outside anything outside
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: the line is outside the line. So, uh, that's just
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: some of our comments. We've got some more. He said
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: that nobody delivers. Ain't nobody delivering better than Nick Cannon?
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: And then children, yeah, children, And then he said the
- 1:28:27Speaker 7: man from Aberdeen was the greatest perms in history.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: Oh, he talked about uh Verdeen, but he called him Aberdeen.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: That's probably what his aunt. He called him Aberdeen. White
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: to the greatest perm in history. I mean, you don't
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: know Cat willis running close second.
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: Well, I've learned to answer your question about Lebron living
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: rent free. Lebron, James and Michael Jordan's are filler any
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: sports star for whatever. Sports talk with the twenty four
- 1:29:00Speaker 3: hour cycle just bring up some story about Lebron, some
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: angle that nobody even thought the research. They just do
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: some AI and you know, you know, they just use
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: them as phillips, like.
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: The story Jeff tig just out this story, this out
- 1:29:20Speaker 7: about Lebron right now. It's just anything about what is
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: that story?
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: Jeff t was mentioning that he felt like when Lebron
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: was with Miami, Lebron said out a couple of games
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: three weeks because of the league had changed their HG
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: H policy. Uh And in Jeff mind, Lebron would have
- 1:29:42Speaker 3: been on steroids at that time. And he's claiming Lebron
- 1:29:46Speaker 3: just claimed the back in three weeks. But I just
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: noticed when I go through the news, they just got
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: anything about somebody, said Kevin Malone. Kevin, I mean Michao
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: in eighty seven said this about Jordan or somebody didn't
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: have Lebron on this list. Like they just do that.
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: And I asked, y'all, why is it that those are
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: the only two names that, like, he's the only two
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: people that ever played basketball. Yeah, right, No, I've seen
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: a lot of great players, yeah, yeah, yeah, a lot
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: of great players, yeah, in the league. So I always
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: just figured that it was just Biller, Yeah, Michael Jordan
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: on a boat. Okay, Well, it is summer, and that's
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: where a lot of sports talk shows struggle during the summer. Taylor,
- 1:30:45Speaker 3: they don't talk a lot about they don't talk about
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: the w NBA unless it's involving Caitlyn Clark and she
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: hasn't been playing so and then baseball, No one's watching
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: baseball like that, and so they come up with list
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: or they fart try to find these bombshelves until football seasons. Yeah,
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: President Obama didn't have Lebron Okay, and Filler, Like I said,
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: that's what they do. Then you find out Lebron vote
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: lists the top ten quarterbacks, the top ten What would
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: we have done if Lebron just would have said Jordan
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: was better.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: In my league, that you are better?
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: It was what and why is it important to try
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: to figure out who's better? How do you figure out
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: how something is better? If you never had it, if
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: it never competed, how can I tell you that? That's
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: why did you hear what I said? Barry Bonds is
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: the best baseball player I ever saw, right right quantifying
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: I didn't see Hammery and Hank Willie Mays any of
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: those people play baseball. I just can tell you from
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: what I my gauge. So why are we always on
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: that search? People want to be they want to be right.
- 1:32:19Speaker 3: But the greatness of Lebron is not being better. How
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: many times I've shared that with you. It's not being
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: better than Michael Jordan. The greatness of Lebron James is
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: like anyone to be able to make it a conversation,
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: right of who you said. That's why I said with
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: Kellen Winslow second his first two years, he was on
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: the pace to be able to have a conversation, to
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: be on his dash level. That's this biggest accomplishment for people,
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: to get them too confused. Yep, you might not ever
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: because at some point it's just subjective of what you
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: like over what he likes.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: Gonna make it better, come make it weird, to make
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: it weird. I just wondered why we don't do it
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: with other players.
- 1:33:03Speaker 6: Why we don't pody on somebody's level, Why versus over
- 1:33:09Speaker 6: that Janni's versus who can we we go with Yanni's
- 1:33:11Speaker 6: versus back from the day nobody. I'm sure we could
- 1:33:17Speaker 6: come up with somebody any power for you, comparing the
- 1:33:20Speaker 6: car alone, comparing the time Duncan as far as where
- 1:33:24Speaker 6: he rings a power forward.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: Kevin Garnett, Yeah, yeah, why don't we debate that KG.
- 1:33:30Speaker 7: Then you have people say, well, Tim Duncan had David
- 1:33:34Speaker 7: Robinson there the first couple, you know, and that's why
- 1:33:38Speaker 7: you're gonna have all those different arts part.
- 1:33:40Speaker 6: Of his People can't be swayed or even just to
- 1:33:42Speaker 6: consider that someone else is great, that he's already picked
- 1:33:45Speaker 6: your number one, and you can't move me off that name.
- 1:33:49Speaker 3: Name me a Hall of Famer in basketball that won
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: a championship and there was another Hall of Famer on
- 1:33:55Speaker 3: the court.
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: We're waked. Were they hall of famers before they won?
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: That's the question? Now the hall of famers they made
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: the Hall of Fame?
- 1:34:07Speaker 7: But because but can we say they made it because
- 1:34:10Speaker 7: they won and they won a championship with that?
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: But but are they not where they all start?
- 1:34:16Speaker 5: What I'm saying how.
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: Many people are becoming a Hall of Famer. Well, some
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: some players, it could push them, help push them over.
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: But if you could name an All Star that was
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: a pre All Star, those are what you hear a
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: lot of people say because you were there first. But no,
- 1:34:32Speaker 3: I'm saying name an All Star two All Stars on
- 1:34:35Speaker 3: the court at the same time, like they're trying to
- 1:34:37Speaker 3: under like right now, this is I just wanted to
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: say that, this is. This is I think what drives
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: a lot of bees a Hall of Famer who won
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: a championship that had they were the only Hall of Famer.
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: I don't think that, and I think every team has
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: had at least two. This is the thing. I think
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: a lot of times these conversations are driven not because
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: of the disparages in difference between one player versus the other.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: It's just the people having the debates don't want to
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: sound like they don't know more than you in sports.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: They keep on bringing up different statistics and they keep
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: on reaching for because I'm just unwilling to admit that
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: you've got a great point man, that guy was cold
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: when he played, and outside of that, it's just I
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: want to keep sounding sports smart. I want to keep
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: sounding informed because it's hard. Like sports. Jock always points out,
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: by the time Lebron got on the court, Jordan was
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: a ghost in the NBA. There were guys that played
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: with him that hadn't played for years with him by
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: the time Lebron came along, and everybody immediately started, well,
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: you know, if Jordan had been this dude, Jordan was
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: probably in his rookie season when Lebron was born, you
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: know what I mean, that kind of stuff. So we
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: always keep the apples to apples are the best comparison.
- 1:36:11Speaker 3: Well, Keith Ramsey just said at the Shack left Kobe
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: and Jared said Dirk, So I agree with those two.
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: Kate Elder Casey said Dominique, but he didn't win. Kobe had,
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: but he was all right when Dirk had. Jason Kidd
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: Hall of Famer.
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: But Jason Terry and j J.
- 1:36:35Speaker 6: Barrera was the at least, want to tell you the
- 1:36:37Speaker 6: question was at one other Hall of Fame teammate.
- 1:36:42Speaker 7: But all Star and you keep the conversation.
- 1:36:50Speaker 19: I know he was, but at the time he was,
- 1:36:53Speaker 19: he was. I can only be an All Star because
- 1:36:56Speaker 19: I'm not up for the Hall of Fame. Yet and
- 1:37:01Speaker 19: and and that's fine.
- 1:37:02Speaker 7: That goes to my argument too that when when you
- 1:37:07Speaker 7: now people trying to discredit Chris Bosh when he went
- 1:37:10Speaker 7: to Miami this oh he well he was just an
- 1:37:12Speaker 7: average player. That man was an All Star at Dallas,
- 1:37:15Speaker 7: averaging over twenty So my same argument is, excuse me, Toronto,
- 1:37:23Speaker 7: but what what are you talking about? But what I'm
- 1:37:25Speaker 7: trying to say, stop discrediting, to stop this was discrediting.
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: IM saying you, but I'm saying you just stretched this
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: conversation further and it had that's that's in the hall
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: of fame. That had a hall of fame, and then you.
- 1:37:45Speaker 5: Fame.
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: He backed off of Dirk wheel and Kobe and then
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: they with facts dispelled those no not statements, but yeah
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: they got you were stretching the conversation with but.
- 1:37:57Speaker 3: Now and then they were All star though I mean,
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: bad producer. We're gonna go to commercial, but think about
- 1:38:04Speaker 3: what you're saying. As we go to commercial. I can't
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: get in the Hall of Fame until I retire. When
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: we won the championship, you weren't in the Hall of
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: Fame either. Michael Jordan wasn't in the Hall of Fame
- 1:38:21Speaker 3: when he won the championship, either was Scottie Pippen or
- 1:38:25Speaker 3: Dennis Rodman, because you have to be active players. But
- 1:38:29Speaker 3: by the time they all left, they all were in
- 1:38:32Speaker 3: the Hall of Fame period. And that's all I just asked,
- 1:38:37Speaker 3: didn't I name you a player today? A Hall of
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: famer was not on the team. Eventually, I don't even
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: understand where we went to to where are we?
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: And the casey say we sounded like Shaq and Chuck
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on, We'll be back show.
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: I'm just saying, it's terrible. Way a lake what a
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: spooks leaves a trace of setup co work with the
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: effect of the gaff face. Next, Jo.

- 1:41:16Speaker 1: Long gone say you can see a sports jain't I'll
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: sing even.
- 1:41:21Speaker 3: Big joy.
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: The Sports Shocks Show.
- 1:41:25Speaker 3: I'm the Sports shock way ain't getting the command to
- 1:41:27Speaker 3: Greg mcginnie. I'm still kind of really confused about what
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: just happened in that last segment. I know you guys
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: are more you speak, I'm muking.
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: I'm not confused.
- 1:41:42Speaker 3: I know exactly what happened. What happened? Please tell me
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: real quick before we move on to the next Supje.
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: We talked to the bad producer. And every time we
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: talk to the bad producer, he's a Hall of Famer,
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: something gonna go wrong, some gonna go wrong. We know
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: that it's been proven time after time again. But what
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: do we do?
- 1:41:59Speaker 5: What do we do?
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: We talked to him, and what happened? What happened?
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: You saw it?
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: We get confused, You get confused. I told you, it's
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: like it's like it's like vinegar and bacon soda. You're
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: gonna get that reaction every time.
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: All I wanted to go back real quick to our
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: listeners online. They gave us two cases where something they
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: were trying to give us two cases where someone won.
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: Without another Hall of Famer on the floor with them
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: when they won. And you guys were able to find
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: examples that that was dispelled. Yes, they did have people
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: who eventually ended up in the Hall of Fame, which
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: one they said, one was Dirk the Whiskey and the
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: other was Kobe Bryant. And they also said Dominique, But
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: Dominique did not win a championship, so that eliminated that.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: Dirk had Jason Kidd and Kobe had Palcasol and they
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: are Hall of Fame. Win win now. And he said, well,
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: well what about Whatever the hell he said after that
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: didn't have nothing to do with what we was talking about,
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: And we all got super super sidetracked and then went
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: back to the realization that we do it to ourselves.
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: Appreciate you, uncle Charlie. That's all I say is, you
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: can't win with MAGA hang on in there, BP right,
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: you right, sir. And I don't think he was saying
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: that as a compliment. Exactly, this dude is over here.
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: I appreciate that.
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: Appreciate it.
- 1:43:36Speaker 3: Michael Parsons in the last year of his contract with
- 1:43:39Speaker 3: the Dallas Cowboys. It looks like the Cowboys are going
- 1:43:43Speaker 3: to what command you greg with Michael Parsons uh franchise
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: tagging franchise tag Okay, okay, that that is a great possibility.
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: I also was thinking they're kind of using him like
- 1:43:56Speaker 3: they do maybe quarterbacks, where we'll see m h if
- 1:44:02Speaker 3: we're in that winning way, we're not arguing that you
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: don't deserve the money, but we might be about to
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: tear this whole team down. We might just you know,
- 1:44:12Speaker 3: and reshuffle, and we don't want to lock into a contract.
- 1:44:15Speaker 1: Where your piece what might have to get chiseled off
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: some to fit into this new picture.
- 1:44:21Speaker 3: So and we could it could be something in that
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: line where maybe that's where because deserving we know and
- 1:44:33Speaker 3: they know it's not one of those things.
- 1:44:35Speaker 6: And he's been and he's waiting. Saw the Miles Garrett
- 1:44:39Speaker 6: contract now TJA, so they know the number. He thinks
- 1:44:44Speaker 6: he believes he's up there somewhere in that. So there,
- 1:44:49Speaker 6: so I see the hesitance with that to commit that much.
- 1:44:54Speaker 6: But it's not like he hasn't played up to deserve it.
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: Yeah, And it's similar even when you look at something
- 1:45:04Speaker 3: like the San Francisco forty nine ers. They're letting keep
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: pieces that you would have thought, oh no, this is
- 1:45:10Speaker 3: not going to happen. But it seems that that organization
- 1:45:14Speaker 3: has decided that group and now blow it up from
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: the blow from the blow from the outside.
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: Now here's from a Dallas Cowboys fans, Keith Ramsey said,
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: as a Cowboys fan, Jerry will drop the ball. As
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: we've seen Jerry uh In a lot of people's opinions
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: allow his ego to get in front of his business decisions.
- 1:45:37Speaker 6: But you know, but we've seen recently, like the guys
- 1:45:40Speaker 6: who are up for those contracts, they seem to have
- 1:45:44Speaker 6: waited longer than maybe people on the outside would have
- 1:45:48Speaker 6: thought they would have had to wait. It took a
- 1:45:50Speaker 6: while for Doc for Dak to get his contract, It
- 1:45:53Speaker 6: took go out for Ezekiel Elliott to get his contract extension.
- 1:45:57Speaker 6: It took a while for Ceedee Lamb to get his
- 1:45:59Speaker 6: contract extension. So this is par for the course. Yeah, basically, yeah,
- 1:46:05Speaker 6: And that's what I'm saying in asking for it. I
- 1:46:08Speaker 6: think a lot of the people that are in the
- 1:46:09Speaker 6: organization understand who they're dealing with. We're not going to
- 1:46:13Speaker 6: be able to go to him in the third year
- 1:46:15Speaker 6: of a six year contract talking about restructuring. We got
- 1:46:18Speaker 6: to be in like game nine of our final season
- 1:46:22Speaker 6: for him to go all right now and we need
- 1:46:24Speaker 6: this guy and we're talking about Jerry Jones.
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: Jerry Jones is a master manipulator of the media very much.
- 1:46:31Speaker 3: He has the contract in his back pocket, been carrying
- 1:46:36Speaker 3: it around winning for two weeks. I'm only going to
- 1:46:38Speaker 3: do it three hours before game one to bring more
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: attention to remember, he makes his announcements to take all
- 1:46:46Speaker 3: the attention off of other people. A lot of times
- 1:46:50Speaker 3: in the NFC Championship game, Oh, breaking news, Jerry Jones escaped.
- 1:46:55Speaker 3: You know he will do something to Garner. So I
- 1:46:58Speaker 3: don't think it's anything other than and so many people
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: think this is about when you do it by the
- 1:47:06Speaker 3: end of training camp time. I mean, you still have
- 1:47:10Speaker 3: a year, so I haven't forced you to play this
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: year without a new contract. And Michael Parson deserves every
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: amount of dollars that he has for the impact.
- 1:47:19Speaker 6: The prime example of this is the Emmitt Smith contract
- 1:47:23Speaker 6: where he missed the first two games and then then
- 1:47:27Speaker 6: Dallas lost those two games, so then he got the contract,
- 1:47:29Speaker 6: but it could take that low.
- 1:47:31Speaker 3: Yeah, Michael Parson's waiting on his big deal. What an
- 1:47:34Speaker 3: impactful player he is. Shaquille O'Neill saying that Klay Thompson
- 1:47:38Speaker 3: and Megan Stallion only gonna last a couple of weeks.
- 1:47:43Speaker 3: I mean, does he have a crystal ball? Is it
- 1:47:45Speaker 3: shocks Jack Odamas or whatever you.
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: Used to call himself, Shack of Domas, something like that,
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: because Negro Domas was Paul Mooney. Now this is now.
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: I'm sure probably this is probably far off the point,
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: but a couple of weeks with making the Stallion butt enough.
- 1:48:08Speaker 7: Well, because there's a video out that Meghan and Clay
- 1:48:11Speaker 7: went to this black Taar black tile fair.
- 1:48:15Speaker 1: She supposedly did a photo shooting a two or something
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: with him in the background.
- 1:48:19Speaker 7: But what she did they went to this black tie
- 1:48:21Speaker 7: fairs and it was a concert and she started singing
- 1:48:25Speaker 7: the parts and she was laughing real hysterically, and then
- 1:48:29Speaker 7: she said, Oh, I've never dated a guy like Clay,
- 1:48:31Speaker 7: and and all the all the stuff is out there,
- 1:48:34Speaker 7: and so I guess that's where Shack is coming from.
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: All that because everybody's been talking about and we and
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: we didn't know anything about what you were talking about.
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: And now that you've explained that, we know even less.
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: I mean, the last guy did it, shot me, didn't it?
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: So maybe I've never dated a.
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: Guy like Clay Yeah, because I shot well he in
- 1:48:55Speaker 3: prison for it.
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: But it's the new evidence that came out though about
- 1:49:02Speaker 1: and no, no, no, no, allegedly only is before you're
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: trying to get convicted.
- 1:49:07Speaker 3: We'll be back right after this the Sports Shock Show.
- 1:49:10Speaker 5: For you know that I'm text keep mine clause that's
- 1:49:12Speaker 5: you're still in the package.
- 1:49:14Speaker 1: If he say that he robbed me?
- 1:49:15Speaker 5: Really know you start saving my captain.
- 1:49:18Speaker 3: You're not blinding.
- 1:49:18Speaker 1: You see that we have.
- 1:49:21Speaker 8: Don't go awayne board of the Sports Jock Show with
- 1:49:23Speaker 8: Wayne Gamvidio's coming up next.
- 1:49:27Speaker 13: And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance.
- 1:49:30Speaker 9: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:49:34Speaker 9: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:49:37Speaker 9: have life insurance.
- 1:49:38Speaker 26: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:49:40Speaker 26: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 1:49:43Speaker 26: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: What about you?
- 1:49:46Speaker 13: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:49:48Speaker 26: When I was forty with a kid in college and
- 1:49:50Speaker 26: bills piling up. I was worried how my family will
- 1:49:52Speaker 26: survived without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:49:54Speaker 26: the insurance informant.
- 1:49:55Speaker 9: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family security,
- 1:49:59Speaker 9: no matter what's stage of life you're in.
- 1:50:01Speaker 26: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 1:50:03Speaker 26: leave my family with bills their benefits.
- 1:50:05Speaker 9: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:50:08Speaker 9: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:50:10Speaker 9: need is the insurance informat to help you build a
- 1:50:12Speaker 9: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:50:16Speaker 9: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:50:21Speaker 9: Log on today benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits
- 1:50:25Speaker 9: orbills dot com.
- 1:50:29Speaker 3: And now back to the sports job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:34Speaker 2: Now it's time for a school board when we put
- 1:50:37Speaker 2: a spin on life and sports and how they intermingle.
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:58Speaker 5: Tony Hey say to say, I'm the biggest, the lunchest
- 1:51:03Speaker 5: mien stepping up because it's my mama stayed in them
- 1:51:05Speaker 5: the puns regardless, this is my new seat.
- 1:51:08Speaker 3: It'll be dropping boards on Tuesday. Jesus ain't knowing me
- 1:51:12Speaker 3: just because I'm the Biggest bus and a I dropping
- 1:51:16Speaker 3: this on Tuesday, the Big Plug. I had an ideal, Yes,
- 1:51:22Speaker 3: I told AI the loco so I was a former
- 1:51:27Speaker 3: dope boy from Texas. Hey, I wrote me this track,
- 1:51:31Speaker 3: the Biggest and the Lunchest, and I'm putting out on
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: my new label, Big Kenny Records, Big Kenny Road Record.
- 1:51:40Speaker 3: I'm telling you I don't get this AI. I had
- 1:51:43Speaker 3: an idea.
- 1:51:45Speaker 6: I had, Okay, but you can say, write me a
- 1:51:49Speaker 6: song in the style of Big ex of Plug.
- 1:51:52Speaker 3: Can't give me about anything?
- 1:51:54Speaker 5: Do you do?
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: You remember when somebody had and remember when t I
- 1:51:58Speaker 3: had an idea where Robin Thick and Marvin Gaye's children
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: sued them about that idea and got money for it
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: from the song blurred Lines.
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: Remember that, Yeah, yeah, And now that they hold him
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: that money back, I guess because they went too far
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: with the AI.
- 1:52:17Speaker 3: Breaking news coming out of j T s Chuts Chats
- 1:52:20Speaker 3: Chats that just and Fields carted off the field with
- 1:52:23Speaker 3: a leg injury, no word of how serious, but it
- 1:52:27Speaker 3: said he was carted off. Somebody check on Big Kenny.
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: It just said he was.
- 1:52:37Speaker 1: He might have got like a heat cramp. Big Kenny
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: in a car kidding hit him with a bag of ice.
- 1:52:48Speaker 1: Coule Bana, Edi, boy, get up. I know the Jets
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: ain't about to go through another leg injury thing. Are
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: we really finna have to live through this another season?
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: I'm just giving you it's early only first second day
- 1:53:01Speaker 1: you sum them or if you don't, let me check.
- 1:53:05Speaker 1: If you don't get off the cart, boy stecking to
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers. As we said before, the Steelers seem to
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: be and I've been doing a little studying on them,
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: quietly have put together win a championship this year.
- 1:53:20Speaker 3: Team. There's some pieces up there. I don't know that
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: everybody knows that, like Jalen Ramsey, Darius Slay, DK Metcalf,
- 1:53:34Speaker 3: the we signed t J. Watt. Sound like a team
- 1:53:37Speaker 3: where they put some things together to try to win one. Quietly,
- 1:53:42Speaker 3: I was.
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: Going to say a lot of people weren't paying attention.
- 1:53:45Speaker 1: Now that you start running off that roster, everybody like,
- 1:53:48Speaker 1: hold on, is this the Justice Gang?
- 1:53:50Speaker 5: We got to come up with it.
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: We got to come up with a new name for this.
- 1:53:54Speaker 3: I mean, you're talking about Jalens, Darius Slay, Joey Quarter
- 1:54:00Speaker 3: Junior as your three Corners. That's your dime nickel package.
- 1:54:06Speaker 3: They had to let Mika Fitzpatrick go. But to get
- 1:54:10Speaker 3: those three as far as taking on, say the Bengals
- 1:54:15Speaker 3: and they're electrifying receivers, that kind of thing. And then
- 1:54:19Speaker 3: with DK Metcalf, we forgot that was an early transaction. Yes,
- 1:54:23Speaker 3: it was where Metcalf at the end of the last season.
- 1:54:27Speaker 3: He had already so there was no pre training camp
- 1:54:33Speaker 3: chatter to surround that. Ay Metcalf at receiver Aaron Rodgers,
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: maybe it's one more year, but looked like Mike Tomlin,
- 1:54:41Speaker 3: the Steelers are going to go for it all this season.
- 1:54:45Speaker 3: Big Ki, I'm sorry about that. Hopefully it's just a
- 1:54:48Speaker 3: cramp and they had to just get some ice on.
- 1:54:51Speaker 3: That's what you sound like a divorce lord, hey man.
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: Hopefully it's just gonna work out. Hopefully, just's not that mad. Dan,
- 1:55:00Speaker 3: I'm the head coach of Oregon must I've been reading
- 1:55:02Speaker 3: my mind. I've been talking about this for the last
- 1:55:05Speaker 3: two or three years. Dan Lanning is big on the
- 1:55:08Speaker 3: season ending by January first. Basically, he is on the
- 1:55:13Speaker 3: page that we have talked to here on the show
- 1:55:16Speaker 3: where it's too long a break between the conference game
- 1:55:21Speaker 3: and the start of the playoffs. He wants it to
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: go more like the NFL do, where you just keep playing.
- 1:55:29Speaker 3: So the SEC Championship, the Big Ten, the A, see
- 1:55:32Speaker 3: all those championship games. There shouldn't be a three week
- 1:55:36Speaker 3: break before you start playing. It should just run into
- 1:55:39Speaker 3: those games, to those games, games, which would pull everything
- 1:55:44Speaker 3: up to be about the first week in January, and
- 1:55:49Speaker 3: we would.
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: Be wouldn't be maximizing the advertising thee No, you're still
- 1:55:53Speaker 1: gonna get the advertising dollars. No no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:55:56Speaker 1: you wouldn't. No, you wouldn't. You would get them. You
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: would get them if it's up till January first, you'd
- 1:56:03Speaker 1: get them through that Christmas season and right there. But
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: then there would be a whole but you got to
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: but you got a whole NFL that you still that's listen.
- 1:56:12Speaker 7: And then we've talked but we've talked about this on
- 1:56:15Speaker 7: the show, that what's the purpose of those waiting that
- 1:56:17Speaker 7: waiting time in that period.
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: So now we want we need to bring it up.
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: Now sure I'm saying, we've talked about this, and what
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: we all agreed upon was that there is no legitimate
- 1:56:28Speaker 1: logical reason to stretch it out other than the money,
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: which is, there's no legitimate logical reason to have Wednesday
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: night football in the NFL, But we'll do it. Why
- 1:56:38Speaker 1: because we can charge you for it, and we can
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: get money from the TV deal, and we could charge
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: you advertising time. And at the end of the day,
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: when people who don't really do sports but do investing
- 1:56:50Speaker 1: sit around and they look at those increases and those profits,
- 1:56:54Speaker 1: that's all that really matters. At the end of the day,
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: I can profit from it. If it's too extra weeks
- 1:57:01Speaker 1: or three extra days, that adds up to more shares
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: for our investors. Period.
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: Twelve year old up in New Jersey at the center
- 1:57:10Speaker 3: of controversy with a game on the rising tonight for
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: the state championship. Young man his father Joe Rico. The
- 1:57:22Speaker 3: young kid Marco did a bat flip at the Little
- 1:57:26Speaker 3: League World Series and it got him disqualified for today's game.
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: Correct because the game is today. Yeah, whatever game he's
- 1:57:39Speaker 3: supposed to play is today, and he's suspended for his
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: dad is trying to petition, but the rules are at
- 1:57:46Speaker 3: that level you can't do the bat flip. The dad
- 1:57:50Speaker 3: is trying to use the old The kids saw it
- 1:57:53Speaker 3: in the commercial route.
- 1:57:56Speaker 6: I'm saying it's not explicitly in the rules about bat flipping,
- 1:58:02Speaker 6: but it is up to the umpires to determine if
- 1:58:05Speaker 6: it's unsportsmanlike.
- 1:58:07Speaker 3: Well, and if you watch it, he threw it real high.
- 1:58:10Speaker 3: Wait wait wait now, wait now, wait now, wait now.
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: The the language here says it's up to the discretion
- 1:58:17Speaker 1: of the umpire correct. Yes, and the umpire that was
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: officiating the game in which the kid flipped the bat
- 1:58:23Speaker 1: dean that it was unsports correct yes, So you don't
- 1:58:28Speaker 1: play am I right?
- 1:58:29Speaker 3: Are we going to stretch this conversation out?
- 1:58:31Speaker 5: Wait?
- 1:58:33Speaker 3: Trying to get this This is a junction. They're trying
- 1:58:38Speaker 3: to get to the Williams you mean Schoolhouse rock conjunction.
- 1:58:40Speaker 1: Junction was to function no, no to the demand that
- 1:58:44Speaker 1: the rule and regulation maker person where they called him
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: in the game, the umpire.
- 1:58:49Speaker 3: Okay, there you go.
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: That dude said no.
- 1:58:51Speaker 3: He said no.
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: They're trying to they're trying to get the Williams Sport
- 1:58:55Speaker 1: to get on. That's how. That's how Kellen Winslow Junior
- 1:59:01Speaker 1: get all the way to the Supreme Court. That's how
- 1:59:04Speaker 1: that's how. Because everybody, everybody want to make an argument
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: for do you think it should be.
- 1:59:09Speaker 3: But it's amazing that dad went to the whole uh
- 1:59:12Speaker 3: little league commercials show the bat flip as an advertising and.
- 1:59:18Speaker 1: There's a video where like, look at this video, look
- 1:59:20Speaker 1: at this shoot the same thing.
- 1:59:25Speaker 7: Why, I mean, if you're using my advertising and then
- 1:59:30Speaker 7: you're gonna you also would have called that it's a
- 1:59:32Speaker 7: lot of little young kids.
- 1:59:33Speaker 3: It's a lot of little young kids in jail to
- 1:59:36Speaker 3: from watching power kids in jail, Jesus the Power watching power.
- 1:59:46Speaker 14: M hm.
- 1:59:47Speaker 3: So I don't know if I will subscribe. And that
- 1:59:50Speaker 3: don't hold up in court either. All man, I was
- 1:59:52Speaker 3: trying to be like ghosts. Well that's.
- 1:59:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's fictitional, and you're going to real jail.

- 2:01:34Speaker 3: so touches home to imagine life gone right now at
- 2:01:38Speaker 3: this moment. But that's how it works. Sadly, theo Huxtable
- 2:01:45Speaker 3: young man that we watched, or at least I watched
- 2:01:49Speaker 3: many of times on The Cosby Show for entertainment and
- 2:01:53Speaker 3: a young man throughout his life. From the viewpoint of
- 2:01:57Speaker 3: my eyes, I seemed like he he was a very
- 2:02:00Speaker 3: solid person. And my prayers go out to his young daughters,
- 2:02:06Speaker 3: who reportedly were swimming at the same time. That God
- 2:02:11Speaker 3: keeps his ever loving hands around her soul to be
- 2:02:15Speaker 3: able to deal with that as her life progresses to
- 2:02:20Speaker 3: be the last moment of seeing her father. But Malcolm,
- 2:02:27Speaker 3: we welcome you on to the sports Jock Cruise ship
- 2:02:31Speaker 3: and unfortunately we have to take you away from your family.
- 2:02:34Speaker 3: But lead with this knowing that you entertained millions of
- 2:02:40Speaker 3: young African American men and people know your name. I mean,
- 2:02:45Speaker 3: really for the old huxtaboys. I don't know if you
- 2:02:48Speaker 3: ever outgrew it. You know, he's always the old Huxtable.
- 2:02:53Speaker 3: So come on board, Malcolm Jamal Warner. I'm gonna go
- 2:02:59Speaker 3: home and put on my Gordon Dark Trail.
- 2:03:01Speaker 1: Yes, Sir, I was thinking the same thing. Put on
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: my Gordon Guard trail. Actually it looks like ich Amarada.
- 2:03:10Speaker 3: So hope you have a happy and safe weekend as
- 2:03:15Speaker 3: we wind down the month of July. And as we
- 2:03:18Speaker 3: always say from the Sports Shock Show on Thursday, we'll
- 2:03:20Speaker 3: see you in the future.
- 2:03:22Speaker 1: Peace,
