  Speaker 2: today's word, the privilege of prayer. The Word tells us

  Speaker 2: in first Thessaloni in five point seventeen, pray without ceasing,

  Speaker 2: Pray without ceasing. And I have a question for you.

  Speaker 2: Is your prayer life as good as it could be?

  Speaker 2: I know mine isn't. I'll be honest about that. Well,

  Speaker 2: here are a few things that we can remember when

  Speaker 2: it comes to prayer in our prayer life. Do you

  Speaker 2: know that you can pray at any time? You can
• 0:38
  Speaker 2: pray anytime anywhere about anything.

  Speaker 1: But here's the deal.

  Speaker 2: We think that we got to say oh Father God, no, no, no, no, no.

  Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be out loud, it doesn't have
• 0:50
  Speaker 2: to be disruptive. We can pray without opening our mouths.

  Speaker 2: As we pray our way through the day, we're doing

  Speaker 2: what the Bible is encouraging in today's scripture, praying without ceasing.

  Speaker 2: Prayer doesn't have to be long and drawn out, a

  Speaker 2: short sincere prayer filled with.

  Speaker 1: Faith is enough. It is sufficient.

  Speaker 2: In addition to praying your way through the day, having

  Speaker 2: a designated and special place where you pray is also

  Speaker 2: very good. You could have a designated room in your

  Speaker 2: house or maybe in the backyard.

  Speaker 1: Maybe there's a park or place.

  Speaker 2: That you like to go to to spend time alone

  Speaker 1: That makes a difference. Also, ask in faith.

  Speaker 2: According to Mark eleven twenty fourth, we can ask in faith,

  Speaker 2: believe that we receive what we pray for.

  Speaker 1: And God will answer.

  Speaker 2: Now, then know the word of God and get scriptures

  Speaker 2: to align with what you're believing for.

  Speaker 1: Recite those scriptures.

  Speaker 2: And pray according to God's will, not your own, because

  Speaker 2: sometimes we want things that don't aligned with this will.

  Speaker 2: Lord God, just for a mind to serve you. And

  Speaker 2: we have a lot to be thankful for you could

  Speaker 2: take a deep breath. Yeah, that's something to be thankful for. Then,

  Speaker 2: the fact that we pray is much more important than

  Speaker 2: the methods we follow, because sometimes we get so strict

  Speaker 2: into religion and how to do it and the rules

  Speaker 2: and regulation. It doesn't have to be a certain length

  Speaker 2: of time, it doesn't have to be a certain way.

  Speaker 2: Talk to Daddy God. Then when you pray, be aware

  Speaker 2: that God is listening. He hears you when you pray,

  Speaker 2: to talk to your heavenly father, and you know what he.

  Speaker 1: Enjoys hearing from you and me.

  Speaker 2: Oh, Father God, thank you for the privilege of communicating

  Speaker 2: with you in prayer. Teach us God to pray more

  Speaker 2: effectively and to be led by your spirit and all

  Speaker 2: our prayers in Jesus' name.

  Speaker 2: Take it applied to your everyday life, and you continue

  Speaker 2: to be encouraged and inspired.
