- 0:02Happy Saturday morning, everybody.
- 0:06I thought I would give you all a different angle.
- 0:10Where's Herman today? I'm on another side of my house
- 0:16with my 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. It's got a 200 and 1000 miles.
- 0:24People say to me all the time, Herman, with all that NASCAR
- 0:30money, how come you drive such an old vehicle?
- 0:35It's because I'm a gangster, baby.
- 0:39I love that. I love that Suburban.
- 0:41I told a buddy of mine, I said if the motor ever blows up in
- 0:44that, which it will not. I'm just saying if it were to
- 0:48ever blow up, we'll put a new motor in it and we keep riding
- 0:52it. Oh yeah, I'm assuming with all
- 0:55my NASCAR money that I could buy something, you know, real
- 0:59expensive. But then all my homies around
- 1:03Arnold, they'd be saying Herman is running around with all that
- 1:11NASCAR money. Now.
- 1:15What it is is I drive. I drive my gangster mobile and
- 1:20nobody say nothing to me. Seat got tore up, so I had it
- 1:25repaired. See, this was all tore up.
- 1:29We got that repaired. Had a new right rear brake
- 1:32caliper put on it. Respond right here with your old
- 1:37stories. What?
- 1:37What kind of? Here's mine, here's mine. 2000
- 1:412003 201,000 miles on that baby Damn trouble turn 1.
- 1:50All right, we got the wind's picking up.
- 1:54We got some props today. We going to talk about Dale
- 1:58Junior. OK, I'm going to tell you what
- 2:02his rained so much last night. I had to, I had to drain some
- 2:08water. We just had the pool opened up
- 2:10'cause you know, it takes a couple weeks for the pool to get
- 2:12neutralized. Can you say that?
- 2:15Children neutralized. So I had to drain the pool last
- 2:20night. It's rained like 6-8 inches.
- 2:24So anyway, that's all Kim Kim's the one that likes to get the
- 2:27pool undone. All right, we're going to talk
- 2:32about overchecking, breaking. It's a numbers game today, and
- 2:40we're going to talk about hats. So we're going to talk about the
- 2:438, the number 8. We all know that Dale Junior is
- 2:47the real #8. Dale Junior is the real #8.
- 2:51Then you got Alex overchecking who broke Wayne Gretzky's didn't
- 2:57break it yet. He tied it OK, over checking
- 3:00tide. Gretzky the great one last
- 3:03night. Well, what a beautiful scene
- 3:04because Gretzky was there. And I'm going to do the same
- 3:08thing when Jeremy Clements and Justin Algar when when they get
- 3:12to my record, when they get to 547 Xfinity starts, I will be
- 3:17there to congratulate them. But anyway, yesterday was all
- 3:21about the number 8. We all know.
- 3:24Well, let's do the hat deal first.
- 3:25OK, Let's do the hat deal first. So the content is out there for
- 3:31me to talk about. I just, I just love, you know,
- 3:35bless your heart, right? Amy Earnhardt, Dale Junior said,
- 3:39Junior says. Junior says that he here, let's
- 3:44let's do like this. Put the hat down.
- 3:48Dale Junior says. Those West Coast guys, he said I
- 3:51can't trust him because they put their head.
- 3:53Now this is my everyday hat. Dale Junior says I don't like it
- 3:57when these West Coast guys do that.
- 4:00See that? Over the head, over the ear?
- 4:03Dale Junior says, I it looks goofy as hell too, and I
- 4:06understand, but you see that, OK?
- 4:11Dale Junior and Amy Earnhardt, they made a whole show out about
- 4:16this. Dale Junior says when I see
- 4:18those West Coast guys do that, he goes, I don't trust them.
- 4:22OK, so I was on a cruise ship and usually because Dale Junior
- 4:33and myself. So last year I said, hey, I had
- 4:36some skin cancer on this ear. I, I had some skin cancer on
- 4:40that ear and, and I made a public announcement last year.
- 4:44I said, hey, everybody, go to the dermatologist, get checked
- 4:49up. I had some skin cancer cut off
- 4:52that ear. So Dale Junior responds last
- 4:55year and he goes, Herman, me too.
- 4:58Dale Junior had skin cancer in the same spot, had his cut off,
- 5:02except I'm the crazy son of a bitch that, you know, puts it
- 5:05all over social media. Go, you know, go to
- 5:08dermatologist. So I usually wear this hat, you
- 5:12know, when I'm vulnerable, keep, keep the, you know, I don't want
- 5:16skin cancer. So I usually wear this hat
- 5:18right, but I did not have this hat on because it's it's a bitch
- 5:23to pack and I've learned a little bit about packing this
- 5:26hat. Now they say to put it in your
- 5:30suitcase upside down and pack around it pack inside of it.
- 5:34So we'll give that a whirl. So I, I did not have my sombrero
- 5:40on me. And so when I was on my
- 5:45vacation, I was out, you know, with the grandbabies and it was
- 5:48sun and I was like this, but, but I had, you know, I had the
- 5:53SP100 on it and I caught myself out of nowhere.
- 5:57I panicked. So I went like this, as Paul
- 6:04Harvey would say. And that's the rest of the
- 6:10story. So if you see some goofy son of
- 6:14a bitch walk around one day like this and he's, you know, he's
- 6:17looking good, then all of a sudden he's, you know, later on,
- 6:23that's a story. Cover your ears up if you think
- 6:28you're going to get too much sun, you know?
- 6:30So I did that for a little bit. So when Junior was talking about
- 6:33that, it made me laugh. Oy, so we're going to talk about
- 6:42this, this lawsuit. So this Lamar Jackson, you know,
- 6:47I, I guess if you're all in the football, if you're in the
- 6:51football, he's your hero. And, and I've always said that
- 6:54every sport is a cult following. So in other words, if you're in
- 6:58the soccer, then soccer's everything, all soccer, soccer.
- 7:03But you know, if you're into football, football's everything
- 7:06and football is the biggest, or as they say in Europe, football,
- 7:11football, crazy Americans got this oblong ball they play with.
- 7:19So remember, I acknowledge that you think your sport is the
- 7:22greatest. However, we all know the number
- 7:258 is Dale Junior. That's just all there is to it.
- 7:28OK, so we know that. Boy, that was a smart ass Kate.
- 7:33Kate. Well, I guess that's what I
- 7:36meant, Kate. So.
- 7:37Oh, Louie, Louie in the house. What the hell, baby?
- 7:41Look at him. He probably thinking, what's
- 7:44going on, Sir Dee must have let him out the front door.
- 7:48So anyway, Lamar Jackson, he wears #8 on his football
- 7:53uniform. You got a big got a #8 here.
- 7:56And to me, it's just whatever it's a #8 it's not even a good
- 8:00looking #8 So Lamar probably don't even know it, but his, his
- 8:07people that run his program, they sue.
- 8:10They sue Troy Aikman last year and now they sue Dale Junior
- 8:16this year because Lamar thinks the number 8 of the whole world
- 8:19is his stupidest mother thing I've ever seen in my life.
- 8:25Hey #8 is my number. So the number 8's your number,
- 8:31huh, Lamar? The design.
- 8:34The design. OK, Lamar.
- 8:38OK. You know, some people do.
- 8:40They're like, come on, bub. Whatever.
- 8:43I get it. I'm a businessman, too.
- 8:46All right, So now let's move forward.
- 8:51I'm on a I'm on Herman Schrader, right?
- 8:54We're on the Herman Schrader Show.
- 8:56And Kenny Schrader brought it up years ago.
- 8:58You know, now that we run a transponder on a car, we got
- 9:02this little box. We got a little box.
- 9:04And that's how they score you, Schrader.
- 9:08Schrader years ago said numbers are stupid.
- 9:12You don't even need a number on a car.
- 9:15And, and and I love Kenny Schrader.
- 9:17And I'm like, what? So a year later, so you know
- 9:21when we did Herman Schrader, Yes.
- 9:23On Wednesday, Schrader says, yeah, you don't need a number on
- 9:27a car. Number just wastes space.
- 9:30It broke my heart. I said Schrader.
- 9:33I'm emotionally invested to the number 36, my number.
- 9:37It's I'm the third son, Rusty, Mike and me.
- 9:40That's three. I'm the 6th racer of the Wallace
- 9:44family. You know, it was my it was my
- 9:47dad, my uncle, my mom, Rusty, Mike and me.
- 9:52So I'm, you know, 36. I was born in 1963 backwards.
- 9:57You know, we can go all day long. 1963 backwards 36.
- 10:01I just like the number 36. It's just everything to me. 43
- 10:06Richard Petty, the Earnhardt 3. Can you imagine not even
- 10:12acknowledging the three number? So you see what I'm saying?
- 10:17I got my buddy Austin called me last night.
- 10:19We started talking and he goes, oh, Herman, he says everything I
- 10:22do I is about numbers. You know, you go to a
- 10:25restaurant, you get the table number 90 Trace Elliot.
- 10:30Oh, I'm a Table 3 Earnhardt. You know, a table number.
- 10:34I mean, just you're right. Oh, I'm in parking spot #1 Rick
- 10:37Mast. So to me, numbers are
- 10:42everything, all right? But Schrader said numbers are
- 10:48stupid, don't even need them anymore.
- 10:50So I take this poll and this poll has got, I mean massive
- 10:55amount of people, like 10,000 people and over like 99.
- 11:01I'll show it to you. It's on X right now, like 90
- 11:04something for over 95% of the people said we need numbers on
- 11:09race cars, 14 AJ Floyd. So anyway, little would we have
- 11:16known. Schrader says you don't need
- 11:19numbers. And here's Dale Earnhardt, Lamar
- 11:22Jackson going at it over a number.
- 11:26So if you don't think a number is a big deal, Dale Junior, my
- 11:31man, has made millions of dollars over the number 8.
- 11:37That number 8 is a big deal. Numbers are a big deal.
- 11:41So I, I guess to end the story, Dale Junior didn't even get
- 11:47tough. Dale Junior just brought his old
- 11:51#8 design. So there, I guess there was a
- 11:53couple different designs with the 8 and Lamar thought Dale
- 11:58Junior's new design was too close to his number 8.
- 12:00Just stupid kids stuff. But once again, when you're
- 12:04dealing with millions of dollars that a number can make, it's
- 12:07just a goofy lawsuit, right? So Dale Junior and and his bunch
- 12:11said, you know what, we'll just go back to our old #8 which is
- 12:14the number 8 that we all think's famous.
- 12:18Damn, what a crazy ass story. All right, everybody respond
- 12:21right here. Do you like me acting poor and
- 12:25driving around in my tooth? Hey Ballus, with all that NASCAR
- 12:32money, why don't you just buy a real nice vehicle 'cause I like,
- 12:36I like my 2003 Chevrolet Suburban with 201,000 miles on
- 12:41it. Respond right here, Tell me how
- 12:44old your vehicle is, how many miles you got.
- 12:47Have a great Saturday, everybody.
