- 0:00If a robot took all of the data and put it together without the
- 0:03biases of like homophobia, they would be like, that's more
- 0:09likely to be the muse. I wonder if we could put the
- 0:11timeline into like Chat GPTI and be like, so guys, here's the
- 0:15team. What happened here?
- 0:17The robot's like that would be fascinating.
- 0:19The robot's like, I'm not allowed to say slurs, but
- 0:23they're dykes. OK, Welcome everyone to gasp the
- 0:38pod today is a very, very special episode because we have
- 0:44an amazing guest on that I'm so glad is joining me.
- 0:47Cam, from what I will say, and we're going to be talking all
- 0:50about Swiftgron. I am more of a Kaler expert and
- 0:54that's why I'm so glad you're joining me for Swiftgron because
- 0:57I remember listening to so many of your Swiftgron timeline
- 1:01episodes and they blew my mind. So thank you for joining.
- 1:06I wanna just like introduce like your podcast for like 20 seconds
- 1:09and then we can go into like the body of Swiftgron.
- 1:13Yeah, sure. So much like you, you have a
- 1:15sapphic queer focused pop culture podcast.
- 1:17So do I. It's called what I will say
- 1:19wherever you get your podcasts. And we cover a lot of Taylor Now
- 1:24I'm a buyler, so we talk about the guys, we talk about the
- 1:26girls. We I love her with anyone you
- 1:28know, I just love Taylor. And then also we cover other
- 1:32queer like our culture moments, conspiracy theories.
- 1:36A few that come to mind is like we did, you know, the two girls
- 1:39and the Spice Girls who like dated.
- 1:41We talked about them. We've done, I mean, every gaylor
- 1:44topic. I've talked to death.
- 1:46I have a nine part series on Kaylor, five part series on
- 1:49Swiftgron, six part series on Tilly.
- 1:51I've got it all. So yeah, I feel like we're
- 1:54imagining heaven, honestly. Yeah, we really are.
- 1:57OK, great. Well, let's like get into the
- 2:00timeline of Taylor Swift and Diane Agron's relationship
- 2:05because for those who are not aware, because I feel like
- 2:07probably everyone is, but Swift Gron refers to Taylor Swift and
- 2:12Diane Agron and their romance. But I'm sure people are hip to
- 2:16that who listen to this. And yeah, do you want to get
- 2:19into the background of at least like Diane Agron right now?
- 2:24Yeah, I've got a brief background on her.
- 2:26Most people probably know this, but you know, Swiftground's an
- 2:30interesting one and the timeline is vast.
- 2:32I wrote the timeline swiftgroundmasterpost.tumblr.com.
- 2:35Like I said, it took me 5 episodes, maybe almost 10 hours
- 2:38to get through the whole thing. So we're doing like a highlights
- 2:42like here's a primer, here's an intro if you're interested.
- 2:45There's more out there more, you know, all sorts of Swift ground
- 2:47content. But like, this is our primer.
- 2:50So let's do a little brief background on Diana.
- 2:53Diana Agron was born in Georgia. She spent her childhood in Texas
- 2:56and then her adolescence in San Francisco.
- 2:58Her dad was a manager for Hyatt Hotels, so they actually lived
- 3:02in hotels, so that's kind of interesting.
- 3:04Diana loved musical theater and old movies.
- 3:07That's actually probably why she has like a transatlantic accent.
- 3:11A lot of people have noticed she grew up just being obsessed with
- 3:13like, the old classics. And of course, she got famous
- 3:16for her role on Glee as Quinn Fabray.
- 3:19I'm showing off my T-shirt on. Video now.
- 3:22Yes, cheerleader. Bitch Queen, we love a little
- 3:26Glee around here, but is she gay?
- 3:29Because obviously if she did have a relationship with Taylor
- 3:32Swift, you would have to establish some type of
- 3:34queerness. Now, for the record, I just
- 3:35think she's bi. I don't think she has like a
- 3:37billion different fake boyfriends, maybe a couple PR
- 3:40relationships back in the day. Diana has given some interesting
- 3:43quotes. She's done some interesting
- 3:44things. So Diana, in 2015, she did a
- 3:46movie called Bear, which is about a young woman who thinks
- 3:51she's straight and then meets another woman and they have this
- 3:54torrid, very sexual affair. There is a pretty explicit
- 3:58lesbian sex scene in the movie and Diana gave an interview
- 4:01where she said I read Bear a year before I signed on.
- 4:05When I first read it, I didn't engage because they wanted me
- 4:09for Sarah. If anything, I wanted to play
- 4:11Pepper, who is like the lesbian aggressor in the movie.
- 4:15She wanted to play against the innocent look that I contend to
- 4:18have and use some of my past experiences to fuel the role as
- 4:24a lesbian aggressor. Like I'm, I'm saying that kind
- 4:27of jokingly because that's unfortunately kind of how the
- 4:30movie is framed. It's you know, but she also
- 4:34said, I think it is my experience in life that I that
- 4:37have made me understand sexuality in many different
- 4:40ways. And in playing Sarah, I was just
- 4:43so showcasing my beliefs that I believe that love comes in many
- 4:46ways, shapes and colors. But it's just like, what past
- 4:49experiences were you going to be used to play Pepper, who like
- 4:52eats this girl out and like they have sex desert and it's just
- 4:57OK. Diana's made countless posts for
- 4:59pride. I have a little document of tons
- 5:02of them. She's actually recently deleted
- 5:04some of them. So it's like, OK, homophobe.
- 5:06I don't know. She's cleaning up her Instagram,
- 5:08but she loves to celebrate Gay Pride month, which allies can do
- 5:11of course too. But she's done countless gay
- 5:14projects. She often takes gay roles.
- 5:17I think everything she's done recently she's played bisexual
- 5:21or lesbian in. So, you know, why is she so
- 5:24drawn to those roles? She said once while she was
- 5:26hosting the GLAAD Awards, she said I've kissed girls before,
- 5:29It's fun, classic. OK, great.
- 5:32So you have had contact with women that's you're just owning
- 5:34that of course straight girls can kiss girls for fun.
- 5:36I'm not saying that doesn't happen.
- 5:37But when you put the preponderance of evidence
- 5:40together, right. And then we have to talk briefly
- 5:42about Shortgate. So the fun thing about a lesbian
- 5:47or a sapphic woman anywhere is you can just show them a picture
- 5:50of Diana Agron wearing a shirt that says likes girls and
- 5:53they'll have a meltdown instantly because this changed
- 5:56lives. OK, so Glee had a live tour back
- 5:59in 2011. And one of the performances on
- 6:02that tour, it's the whole cast of Glee.
- 6:04Like, these fucking TV stars are going around playing arenas and
- 6:08pretending to be their Glee characters.
- 6:09And it's like a musical tour experience, right?
- 6:12So one of the performances was Born This Way, which of course
- 6:16the Lady Gaga I was Born This Way.
- 6:17And in the TV show, they wear shirts that say their biggest
- 6:20fear. So I think like Kurt wears a
- 6:22shirt about how he's gay or and and Santana wears a shirt kind
- 6:26of referencing that she's lesbian, although it's in
- 6:29Lebanese, but that's like an inside joke from the show.
- 6:32Well, Quinn's shirt is supposed to say Lucy Kaboosi on it
- 6:36because that was like her old nickname or whatever and she's
- 6:38ashamed of it. So she's owning it on the shirt,
- 6:41and she does wear that in tour almost every performance.
- 6:44But one performance in the summer of 2011, she came out
- 6:48wearing a shirt that said likes girls.
- 6:51And I actually had that shirt. I almost wore it for this but
- 6:53then I was like. Oh my God.
- 6:54I got a red eye. Yeah, it's a.
- 6:56Great shirt, I need that. Shirt yeah, I wore it to eras so
- 6:59you know I just I love that couldn't contain myself but
- 7:04everybody thought she came out she wore a shirt that's like
- 7:06girls and she danced around the stage there are GIFs of her and
- 7:08video of her like showing the shirt off like bringing
- 7:12attention to. It like.
- 7:14She's like, look at me, look at me.
- 7:15She's dancing, She's grooving. Like it's like, Oh my God.
- 7:19That's coming. Out.
- 7:19That's a coming. That's a coming out.
- 7:21Are you kidding me? Like, obviously it is.
- 7:24And of course a lot of people did think she was coming out.
- 7:26Twitter explodes, Tumblr explodes, the L chat explodes.
- 7:28Like, everybody melts down, right?
- 7:30And some people are trying to say, no, it's not.
- 7:33It's like it's a different person wearing it.
- 7:35Or one person was like I think Diana has had a cold for the
- 7:39past few days so she must have been high on cold medicine and
- 7:42taken the wrong shirt. Which is like OK the reaching
- 7:48will do to keep our fair princesses straight.
- 7:50Yeah, yeah, no, people will make up any excuses to make it make
- 7:56sense. They truly will.
- 7:58But the next day, Diana drops an essay on Tumblr basically saying
- 8:04that she wore the shirt as an ally.
- 8:06And she's like, I, I wore a legs girl shirt because I do love
- 8:09women platonically, but I'm supporting Pride.
- 8:11It was like all over the place. It's just like, OK, so Pride is
- 8:14not for people, like, not for women who love women
- 8:17platonically. Like, it's so silly.
- 8:20But there is one. There is one quote from this
- 8:24that is just hilarious. Or it's not even hilarious.
- 8:26It's actually kind of sad. It's crazy, she says.
- 8:29Raise your hand if you've spent nights crying yourself to sleep.
- 8:33OK, gay behavior. OK dyke.
- 8:35Raise your hand if you've felt as if you'd rather hide in bed
- 8:39all day, then face the people that make you feel small or
- 8:42powerless. Raise your hand if you felt as
- 8:45if you'd rather lie to people than tell them the truth about
- 8:49who you really are, because at least you wouldn't be the victim
- 8:53of hateful behavior or prejudice.
- 8:55And raise your hand if lying feels almost as bad.
- 9:00OK, gayest set of sentences. Wow.
- 9:03Because like, what else would that be about?
- 9:05Like, what prejudice is she facing, right?
- 9:08Because if she's just talking about sexism, she would just say
- 9:11that. And she wouldn't have worn a
- 9:12shirt that said likes. Girls right, it seems like
- 9:15what's happening is like she wanted to wear a likes girls
- 9:18T-shirt and then obviously there's backlash and people are
- 9:21like you're gay. And do you think it's like she's
- 9:26realizing and scared that she needs to like cover her ass and
- 9:29say that this was like platonic or do you think it was like APR
- 9:33thing or like maybe her media person was like you need to make
- 9:37a statement? To be honest, I, I kind of do
- 9:40think it was a a bit of APR thing because during this Glee
- 9:45tour and the years before she was voraciously shipped with Lea
- 9:50Michele. There is so much there.
- 9:52I do think they dated or we're sleeping together or something.
- 9:55I've heard tea. I've if you look at their their
- 9:58content and timeline, they live together.
- 10:01They would have this moment where they would hold hands on
- 10:03tour and then sometimes they weren't holding hands and it'd
- 10:05be like, Oh my God, Lea and Diana are in a fight.
- 10:08So much good stuff to a show and I do think they were dating and
- 10:13I do think probably that was not the energy the show wanted.
- 10:18Of course Gwen is the sex appeal.
- 10:21She is the straight now. They did actually let her go gay
- 10:24in the fourth season, but only with Santana, never with Rachel
- 10:29so big. Big time for me, Yeah, in my.
- 10:31Figure moment. So I do think she was probably
- 10:34they were saying either her team and Leah's team or like all the
- 10:38teams in like the Glee, you know, production was like, no,
- 10:43you're not doing this, not right now.
- 10:44Like, yeah, right. So you.
- 10:46Can't have every girl character on the show be gay.
- 10:48They needed to like, leave a few straight girls.
- 10:51Yeah, so there's a lot to Diana's, like history and
- 10:55involvement with queerness in the queer community.
- 10:58And what I found if if some if a straight person keeps making
- 11:01themselves the center of conversation when it comes to
- 11:04queerness, they're just queer. And and it might take time to
- 11:07come out, you know, it might take time to come out and it
- 11:10might, who knows what they could be bisexual, pansexual, fluid.
- 11:14Dom Provost Chalkley from Winona Wynonna Earp, you know, their
- 11:18journey into some type of queerness and then like a
- 11:21gender, you know, fluidity. But like before that before Dom
- 11:25was Dom Dominique was always making themselves like the
- 11:28center of pride And and, you know, they were not out as any
- 11:32type of queer. And it's just like people who
- 11:35make themselves the center of the conversation how for
- 11:39whatever reason, but it seems like most of those people end up
- 11:42coming out as queer. That's just been my
- 11:44observational experience. I totally agree.
- 11:46And I think there is definitely a trajectory of like huge ally,
- 11:49biggest ally in the world to coming out and like maybe they
- 11:53don't even kind of realize why they're connecting like so much
- 11:57with the queer community. Like at least that was my
- 11:59experience where I was like, I, I am so I feel so protective
- 12:04over like queer people and like I am so passionate about gay
- 12:08rights and like centering myself and it, I didn't really realize
- 12:12it at the time. It's because like I felt that
- 12:15way. Why are people automatically
- 12:16assuming that those biggest allies and the people that
- 12:19center themselves and like queer conversations are queer being
- 12:23automatically? I actually kind of, I blame Glee
- 12:27because I think straight people have this idea that queer people
- 12:31owe them and, and the only way to communicate Queerness is a
- 12:35very special episode where we all sit down and you say exactly
- 12:40what your label is and there's, there's no bones about it.
- 12:42Kurt and Glee telling Mercedes he's gay even though we already
- 12:46knew he was gay, right? I have this whole episode.
- 12:48It's called it's it's called Gaylord one O 3, I think.
- 12:52And it's just about like the signals we like people can pick
- 12:55up on. I know you just did an episode
- 12:56on that as well. So like, I think straight people
- 12:59just have this idea that if someone is gay, it will be
- 13:02spelled out in just this very easy, digestible, understandable
- 13:06way, right? And right, they're just sort of
- 13:09sitting around waiting for that. And if somebody doesn't give
- 13:12them that, then it's, well, no, they could not be gay.
- 13:14Absolutely not. Because Kurt police sat down and
- 13:16said it. And it was like, well, we
- 13:17already knew he was gay from the way he talked, from his interest
- 13:20in fashion and musical theater, from the way he presented
- 13:22himself, from the way he dressed.
- 13:24We knew he was gay before he came out as gay on the show.
- 13:27So like even that example that's not true, you knew that was a
- 13:29gay kid. Everybody on this planet knew
- 13:31that Kurt was a gay character right before he came out as
- 13:33getting it would. Have been wrong to say that
- 13:36right I guess until it's spelled out in like a sit down emotional
- 13:39kind of like traumatic conversation.
- 13:42Right. And and very spelled out and put
- 13:45into simple terms for them of like I am gay or I am bisexual
- 13:48or I am a lesbian. That's all they'll take.
- 13:51Even though there's there's thousands if not millions of
- 13:53different ways to communicate that.
- 13:55Right. And then it needs to be a very
- 13:57specific, clear label and not just like I'm interested in
- 14:01girls I'm. Or I'm, I'm Ariana Grande went
- 14:06on Twitter and said I don't label myself like she fucks
- 14:09women. Like that's just true.
- 14:10You know what I mean? She had that.
- 14:11Like women and men. Yeah, and it's just, she said.
- 14:14I haven't felt the need to put a label on my sexuality.
- 14:17Great. So you're like, you're not
- 14:19straight. Yeah, you're under the umbrella
- 14:21of not straight, right? Yeah, totally.
- 14:24And then people. Drag her for like queerbait and
- 14:27it's like, no, she just wanted to kiss a woman in her music
- 14:29video. That was not supposed to be
- 14:31titillating for men. That was titillating to her.
- 14:33I just. She's like please can I kiss a
- 14:35girl on the. Pool please right.
- 14:37And then on tour she fucking like humps a girl on the table
- 14:40and I was just like bro anyway. Right.
- 14:43No, I totally agree. Something that like I remember
- 14:45listening to your past episodes on that was so interesting.
- 14:48And I'm sure you'll get into this was like the timeline of
- 14:52when Taylor wrote these songs and the fact that when she wrote
- 14:57those, she was like with Diana in LA or I'm sure you'll get
- 15:01into all that, but. So let's jump to the timeline
- 15:04now. We had Taylor out with some of
- 15:06the good cast well before she started hanging out with Diana.
- 15:09So I in my long timeline, I kind of make note of that, but I
- 15:12don't think it's really important.
- 15:13But you know, people thought she dated like Corey Monteith for a
- 15:16second. I don't think she did, but they
- 15:17did hang out a little bit. But Taylor and Diana officially
- 15:21meet as far as we know that we have photos of in fall of 2011.
- 15:26So not too long after that short gate incident at the Fairfax
- 15:30flea markets with mutual friend Ashley Avignon.
- 15:34Yeah, I believe Ashley is the one who introduced them.
- 15:37Ashley is an OG Taylor friend. I think she was Emma Stone's
- 15:40stylist and met Taylor through that way.
- 15:42And they've become friends ever since then.
- 15:44And then or Ashley also just might have been an assistant to
- 15:47a stylist, I'm not sure, but I believe Ashley was the assistant
- 15:50to Diana's stylist. So Ashley introduced these
- 15:53people. And Ashley is still friends with
- 15:56Taylor to this day. She hangs out with her still
- 15:58like somewhat regularly and is around.
- 16:00Chiefs games and stuff, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 16:01So you get, you'd love to see that she's an OG.
- 16:03She's not famous, she doesn't have any big platform or
- 16:05anything, but she's just one of Taylor's oldest friends.
- 16:08So we love Ashley around here, but Taylor and Dana did not
- 16:12spend any real any time together other than that event
- 16:16significantly that we can tell until the spring of 2012.
- 16:19And that makes sense because Taylor's wrapping up the Speak
- 16:21Now tour. So that ended in like February
- 16:23or early March of 2012. And then she gets back to LA and
- 16:27guess who she starts hanging out with like constantly?
- 16:30It's Diana. And so we get them.
- 16:32They're going to the movies together real low key.
- 16:34They're never calling the packs on themselves, which is
- 16:37interesting. You'd think, given that, you
- 16:41know, Diana's in this musical show and Taylor's song has been
- 16:44sung on Glee. They sing mean on Glee at some
- 16:46point. You'd think there'd be like a
- 16:48little cross promo, but that never happens, right?
- 16:50It would have been smart for it too, but they never did that.
- 16:52They hang out with in a group with Claire Windsor and Ashley
- 16:56Avignon a lot. And Claire is another long time
- 16:58friend of Taylor's, and it's still in Taylor's life too, but
- 17:03Diana's not. So yeah, What happened to the
- 17:06girl again? What?
- 17:06Happened. It's interesting that all the
- 17:08girls that she has like dating rumors with she's not like still
- 17:12friends with. Right, right.
- 17:14A love story starts on Red and and there's a set of songs that
- 17:18was written in 2010, 2011, all the breakup songs, all the angry
- 17:21songs. For the most part, those are all
- 17:23written well before she met Diana.
- 17:25And some people don't understand that.
- 17:26So they think, yeah, it's funny if you look at the copyright
- 17:29dates. And the good thing about Red is
- 17:30we know when she wrote like every song on the album.
- 17:32We've got copyright dates, we've got interviews, we've got her Co
- 17:35writers giving interviews and saying, Oh yeah, we wrote this
- 17:37then. And so you kind of know, like,
- 17:40OK, Taylor went through a breakup.
- 17:42I think it's what Jake Gyllenhaal.
- 17:43Some people might think otherwise, but I am a buyler.
- 17:45But and then, you know, whatever she piddles around.
- 17:49Think she has like a couple dates with Will Anderson in 2011
- 17:53that inspires begin again. But then we get to the spring of
- 17:572012, and Taylor's falling in love with someone because we're
- 17:59getting a ton of love songs. So let's talk about those love
- 18:03songs and see if we can pinpoint the muse.
- 18:05Because what's interesting is this person she falls in love
- 18:08with, she very obviously breaks up with on 1989 and we get
- 18:11references back to the songs, which is funny because some of
- 18:15these red songs like 1989 is supposed to be the Harry Styles
- 18:18album. I mean, it's got a song called
- 18:19Style on it, right? It's got to be all about Harry.
- 18:22But it seems to reference this person that she fell in love
- 18:25with in the spring of 2012. Now what is annoying is she was
- 18:29alleged to spend a little time with Harry in that spring.
- 18:33There's a brief 2 week period where, oh right, Harry and
- 18:36Taylor, they're an item and then he cheats on her.
- 18:38And so there's there's a little of that that it's like, no, OK,
- 18:43it could have been about Harry. But when you really drill into
- 18:46the timeline, no, it can't because she's writing these
- 18:48falling in love songs after he's already cheated on her.
- 18:51So like, why would, you know, why would that be a thing?
- 18:54So these are all supposed to be about, I guess, Connor Kennedy.
- 18:57And some are supposed to be like, oh, this is about Jake.
- 18:59But when they first met and she just wrote it later.
- 19:01So there's a little of that going on.
- 19:03But it's almost just like, gosh, wouldn't it be simple if there
- 19:06was one person that Taylor was consistently seen with in the
- 19:08spring and summer of 2012 that matched that?
- 19:12Maybe they have green eyes and freckles that matches all the
- 19:15symbols of this muse. And they spent time in New York
- 19:17and London. And we'll drill all this out.
- 19:18We'll get into all of this. But like, wouldn't it make sense
- 19:21that there was like one person that she hung out with in the
- 19:23spring of 2012 and then she stopped hanging out with them
- 19:26by, you know, 2014 when 1989 gets written And they were there
- 19:31and then they weren't. And the songs all match, right?
- 19:34It's It's almost like it would be way simpler if it was just
- 19:36about one person. I remember there were so many
- 19:39people, like, I think despite the fact that she's lit, he
- 19:43literally doesn't have green eyes and freckles and that this
- 19:45matches Diane Agron, that all the media is like, oh, this is
- 19:49this could be about him still, which doesn't make any sense.
- 19:54But yeah, like, if you actually go into the timeline, like it
- 19:57can't be about Jake Gyllenhaal. It was after had broken up, and
- 20:01very publicly so. It's funny, like, I knew You
- 20:04Were Trouble. It's supposed to be about Harry
- 20:05Styles. The album came out before they
- 20:08were dating. Now they had that little two
- 20:10week period and the liner noticed when you saw me dancing
- 20:13And and they met at the Kids Choice Awards while Taylor
- 20:17danced to What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction.
- 20:21And this article went out about Justin Bieber.
- 20:23And he's saying, oh, I know Taylor Swift is in love with
- 20:25someone really famous. It was very like, OK, like
- 20:28there's going to be a Halo other PR situation.
- 20:31And then it kind of messed up because Harry kissed this girl
- 20:33while he's out on tour. And OK, so allegedly like, they
- 20:37have this big breakup. And then but it's just it again,
- 20:42it makes sense if all the breakup songs on Red were about
- 20:44someone from her past. Jake Gyllenhaal, Martin Johnson,
- 20:47Liz Hewitt, if you like. Yeah.
- 20:49Julian Huff, if you like, you know, any of that.
- 20:52And then wouldn't it make sense if, OK, those are all written
- 20:56like 2011, 2012, maybe early 2012, but then in the spring she
- 21:00falls in love and wouldn't make sense if that's about somebody
- 21:02else because of the timeline, Yeah.
- 21:04Right, like she like and all the songs aren't like, oh, we fell
- 21:08back in love like it's a new person.
- 21:10Yeah, it's someone she barely, you know, she's only just
- 21:12getting to know, right. So let's talk about some of
- 21:15these songs. First and foremost, let's talk
- 21:17about comeback be here. So we know Comeback We Were Here
- 21:20was written in spring of 2012 because her Co writer Dan Wilson
- 21:24said while he was giving a performance, he played
- 21:26Treacherous and he said me and Taylor wrote this song and the
- 21:29other song we did together, which was Comeback Be Here in
- 21:31the spring of 2012. He basically kind of spells that
- 21:34out. So what did Taylor say about
- 21:36Comeback Be Here? She said it's about falling for
- 21:38someone and then they have to go away for work.
- 21:41Taylor laments that her new love is in New York without her and
- 21:44then in London without her. So obviously Connor Kennedy is
- 21:47one of the alleged muses for Red.
- 21:51He it can't be about him. He was in high school at this
- 21:54point. He didn't travel for work.
- 21:56He was a, he's a minor when she wrote this song, right?
- 22:00And they had not met yet. So they met in the summer.
- 22:02So this can't be about Connor. It's written in spring.
- 22:05And again, he's in high school, so he has to go to chemistry
- 22:09class. He can't, you know, he's not out
- 22:11travelling. He's in algebra.
- 22:12Yeah, right, right, right. So it also doesn't line up to be
- 22:16about her alleged brief spring playing with Harry Styles,
- 22:19because during the two weeks they were supposedly linked,
- 22:22they he went to New York City, but only for one day without
- 22:25her. And then she went to New York
- 22:27City, but she went with Diana anyway.
- 22:31And then he goes to Australia, so he doesn't have a stop in
- 22:34London. So I guess you're in London
- 22:36today. Can't fit him.
- 22:39Diana, however, was both in London and New York City without
- 22:42Taylor a couple times for work for Glee related stuff.
- 22:45She did some talk shows in New York City.
- 22:47She went to London with the Glee cast and that happened a couple
- 22:51times in spring and early summer of 2012.
- 22:55There are also queer vibes and themes in this song.
- 22:58So if I had known what I know now, I never would have played
- 23:03so nonchalant. Come on.
- 23:04Does that not just sound like you found out someone's queer
- 23:08and now you know they're an option?
- 23:09Like, have you ever had that experience?
- 23:11Yes, absolutely. Where you find out like later
- 23:16and you're like, well shit. You're like, wait a minute,
- 23:19maybe this vibe between us is not just a friend's thing.
- 23:22Yeah, it takes a queer person to, like, understand a lot of
- 23:26these things of kind of like the secret between you 2 and kind of
- 23:30like, is this something more than friends and keeping a
- 23:35secret from the rest of friend group?
- 23:37She says that in the very first night, she's like, our friends
- 23:41don't know in the back of the car in LA And that is such a
- 23:45queer experience, but is obviously not loud enough for
- 23:48straight people to like, understand.
- 23:50It's not saying like, like you said, like the Glee thing of
- 23:52like I'm gay, but it's like these common relatable themes
- 23:58that make sense and like you can envision like you're with this
- 24:03girl group and you and this one girl have kind of more than a
- 24:07friendship, but it's not really out loud and like it's
- 24:10confusing. And that's so.
- 24:13I also like it's so cute how young they are too.
- 24:17Like it's just so relatable. Yeah, I mean, Taylor's 22 When
- 24:20All This is Happening, 22 is another song.
- 24:23I don't even have it on the outline because I wanted to cut
- 24:25for time. But you know, Diana's the muse
- 24:27of 22. She's her name's literally in
- 24:29the liner notes. And of course, 22 started out as
- 24:32a love song, right? So we have the early lyrics of
- 24:35that and it's very much not just about hanging out with your
- 24:39friends. And there is like someone that
- 24:41has caught her eye and she's like feeling, you know, hazy
- 24:44about and confused about. So that's interesting.
- 24:47All these songs that someone she's running around with late
- 24:49at night now this and and every song right and come back to
- 24:53hear. It's like, you know, you, you
- 24:54set it at 4:00 AM or whatever. Why?
- 24:56Who is she up with at 4:00 AM and why?
- 24:58Now, we know Taylor's an insomniac, but the Glee cast
- 25:02also kept crazy hours. So they're getting off set at
- 25:05like, you know, one or 2:00 AM in the morning.
- 25:08And then if they have any time to socialize, I guess that's it
- 25:11would happen late at night. You and also just the cover of
- 25:14darkness. You know, maybe Taylor wants to
- 25:16go over to Diana's house. Not the worst thing in the world
- 25:18for her to leave her house in the middle of the night and
- 25:20drive over there. And we talked about this in
- 25:23treacherous, you know, they're nothing safe is worth the drive.
- 25:26The the headlights are shining through the night.
- 25:28She's driving around at night with this person.
- 25:30And it would be good if like the paps maybe didn't catch her
- 25:33leaving her mansion in LA. Actually, she was only in the
- 25:36house at that point, but her house in LA headed over to like
- 25:39Diana's house. So she's this is the falling in
- 25:43love muse of bread is very much someone she's sneaking around
- 25:46with at night. And she's only kind of just
- 25:48gotten to know them in every song.
- 25:50They're sort of like, Oh my God, you know, I just want to know
- 25:53you better now or and we'll get to all these specific lyrics,
- 25:56but I know something new. If I'd known what I know now.
- 25:59And it's something that she feels like conflicted and very
- 26:03gay about. So we'll get to some of those
- 26:05more lyrics. But again, treacherous, like
- 26:07you're calling love treacherous. That's such a that's weird,
- 26:10right? That's weird if it's just the
- 26:12men and women. Why is it so dangerous and
- 26:15treacherous? Like why is there conflict to
- 26:17solve? Wasn't there like a reported
- 26:19time where like Taylor was like going over the Glee set all the
- 26:22time and all the Glee cast members were like why is Taylor
- 26:24here all the. Time yes, so there is an
- 26:27interview from Kevin McHale on his podcast with Jenna Uskowitz
- 26:32and they're talking about a an episode that was filmed in 2014,
- 26:36like early 2014. So that's kind of interesting
- 26:39where Kevin was on set alone and somebody's like, Kevin, Taylor
- 26:45Swift is here to see you. And Taylor was like filming
- 26:48something in the set over like some award show or something or
- 26:51something. And, you know, Kevin says, oh,
- 26:55she just dropped by to see who was there.
- 26:58And it's like, OK. That's so excellent.
- 27:00Who were you trying to see? She's like, oh, I'm just
- 27:02stopping by to see. Yeah.
- 27:05Yeah, likewise, you know, a lot of the cast have been like, oh,
- 27:09we know Taylor, you know? Oh yeah, we know Taylor.
- 27:11And it's just like, OK, I guess you do, you know?
- 27:14Just interesting. Comeback be here is a great fit
- 27:16for Diana because again, this whole I guess you're in New
- 27:21York, I guess you're in London. That works.
- 27:23She that works, right? So and.
- 27:25It doesn't work with anyone else.
- 27:27Right. And it also seems to be about
- 27:29the same thing that everything is strange is about.
- 27:31Because if I'd known what I know now, I never would have played
- 27:33so nonchalant. The feeling you can know so much
- 27:36without knowing anything at all. What, what is it?
- 27:39What does Taylor know about this person she met in 2012?
- 27:42That's so important because in everything has changed.
- 27:45I know something now that I didn't before, and I just want
- 27:48to know you better now. What, what, what is it?
- 27:51What it This muse has something about them that that Taylor
- 27:55needs to know before she's interested in them?
- 27:59Now, I'm not saying, you know, it couldn't be like, oh, a guy
- 28:01that's equally interested in her or something.
- 28:02I'm not saying it couldn't be that.
- 28:04But it just like, yeah, that this person is queer and
- 28:07therefore an option for you to date that could really fit.
- 28:10Well, let's talk about Treacherous.
- 28:12Also written in the spring of 2012 with Dan Wilson.
- 28:16And we know that from dance quotes.
- 28:18This song is just extremely gay. There's nothing in the song
- 28:20where it's like green eyes or freckles or you're in New York
- 28:23that like matches up. But let's just talk about how
- 28:26queer this song is. Couple choice lyrics.
- 28:28This slope is treacherous. This this path is reckless.
- 28:33This slope is treacherous. I can't decide if it's a choice
- 28:36getting swept away. What's so dangerous?
- 28:40Why? Why is it a slope?
- 28:42Like you're falling? Like Taylor is 22 years old.
- 28:44She's a young, beautiful white woman.
- 28:47What is the drama Now, I know Taylor's theatrical, right?
- 28:50She's kind of, she's hyperbolic. So I'm not saying you know, but
- 28:55what is the fucking drama? Right, right.
- 28:58And if you choose to go down this path, it's almost like it's
- 29:00irreversible. Yeah, your lips close to mine.
- 29:04As long as they don't touch. Are you kidding me?
- 29:09How many times you're a gay woman?
- 29:11I'm a gay woman. How many times have you just,
- 29:13like, had maybe that friend or that person that, OK, maybe it's
- 29:16going to happen with? Maybe it's not.
- 29:18And it's just like, maybe you're in a group and you're just
- 29:20staring each other. You're like at a bar, sitting
- 29:23next to each other at a bar and you're just like right there.
- 29:25You're talking to each other and you're just like.
- 29:28And you can let it know that there's tension.
- 29:30It's this like knowing, feeling electricity, Right?
- 29:34Right. Yeah.
- 29:35It's the knowing. And she knows that.
- 29:36She knows that, too, but no one's really talking about it.
- 29:40And that if their lips touch, then there's something they have
- 29:43to figure out. It's just the gayest lying.
- 29:46It's so gay. Furthermore, I'll do anything
- 29:49you say if you say it with your hands.
- 29:53Now, first of all, kind of sounds like a lesbian sex act a
- 29:56little bit, right? But we don't even, we don't even
- 29:58have to get pervy with it if we don't want to.
- 30:00We can and I will. But like, we don't have to.
- 30:03I wrote an essay. I'm going to take you to 2008,
- 30:08my freshman year of college at Auburn University.
- 30:11Our teacher gave us an assignment to write about an
- 30:14essay about language, and I got special permission from her to
- 30:18not have to have my essay. Like, we had like a little peer
- 30:21review where we'd read our essays to each other because I
- 30:25wrote it about the language between me and my first
- 30:28girlfriend and how we would just like, hold hands and like,
- 30:33stroke each other's like, palms and like, whatever when we were
- 30:36like in 8th grade and this sort of unspoken touching that
- 30:42happened between our hands. I actually wish I could find
- 30:45this paper because it's just like, I wrote this paper before
- 30:48I knew Swift Grind was a thing. I wrote this paper before that
- 30:51Treacherous was written. I literally did.
- 30:54Did Taylor Swift find the paper? And she's like, whoa, right?
- 30:58She's like, wow, this is me and Diana Agron to a tee.
- 31:00But just this idea of like, we can't speak this aloud.
- 31:04You can't actually kiss me. Say it with your hands.
- 31:07You can't say it with your mouth.
- 31:09Are you kidding me? Yeah.
- 31:11You can't say it out loud. You can't almost like admit what
- 31:14you're feeling because it's treacherous.
- 31:17Right. And nothing safe is worth the
- 31:19drive. You know, we've already talked
- 31:23gay as hell. Gay as thing to say.
- 31:25Yeah. And then I will get you alone.
- 31:27First of all, kind of threatening, but actually.
- 31:31Is she going to get you alone, away from the Glee cast?
- 31:34Yeah, and away from, you know, we were going to get away from
- 31:37Ashley and Claire for at least an hour so we can make it out,
- 31:40right? She's sneaking around at night
- 31:42with this person in Treacherous and oh, that's what she was
- 31:45doing with the same person in Comeback Be Here.
- 31:47But we're told this is about two different people.
- 31:50Comeback Be Here is like maybe allegedly about Harry.
- 31:53Some people say it's about Zac Efron, Right.
- 31:55There's no like hardcore like Clear Muse, but Treacherous is
- 32:01like the fandom consensus. And I believe Taylor gave a
- 32:05quote where she was like, oh, it's about the beginning of a
- 32:07relationship. And then I knew Your Trouble is
- 32:09about the end of the same relationship.
- 32:11But why does it have so much in common with all these other
- 32:16muses? The comeback be here music,
- 32:17she's sneaking around at night and she's really nervous about
- 32:19the relationship. Exact same thing is happening in
- 32:20Treacherous. Let's talk about everything has
- 32:22changed. So.
- 32:24According to Taylor, Everything Has Changed was written about
- 32:26two weeks after she met Ed Sheeran.
- 32:28She said. We were sitting on my trampoline
- 32:30and it was a couple weeks after we first met and I was just
- 32:32singing the I Just want to Know You Better Now refrain and they
- 32:36start working on the song. So they met on May 15th, 2012.
- 32:40So 2 weeks after that, you know, it's written very early June,
- 32:44late May maybe Taylor does not meet Connor Kennedy until July
- 32:49of 2012 and they don't start dating till the end of the month
- 32:52because they had to wait till he was 18, right?
- 32:54Of course, as you do when you're 22 with your 18 year old
- 32:57boyfriend that is going into his senior year of high school.
- 33:00I think this song is about a very specific event.
- 33:05In March of 2012, Taylor and Diana went to The Hunger Games
- 33:09movie premiere and they're there.
- 33:12They're low key. No press is called, even though
- 33:14Taylor literally has a song on the soundtrack.
- 33:16She has two songs on the South sound, right?
- 33:20The other one. And it's just crazy that Taylor
- 33:23wouldn't go to her premiere with her famous friends like a red
- 33:27carpet kind of situation. They could have gone to any of
- 33:29them. No, Taylor and Diana go.
- 33:31Now the the other girls may have been there, but the pictures we
- 33:33have are from fans and they only took pictures of Taylor and
- 33:36Diana, but they go. There's no red carpet.
- 33:38It's literally a Sunday matinee, by the way, it actually was a
- 33:43matinee on a it's. Also so gay to go see The Hunger
- 33:45Games. The Hunger Games.
- 33:46I don't know how to explain it, but The Hunger Games is so gay.
- 33:49Well, it's like it's fantasy, right?
- 33:51And Taylor wrote the her songs are fanfic.
- 33:54Yeah. She's writing fanfic like OK
- 33:56Lesbian with your Tumblr. Her like barefoot with like a
- 34:00lace dress in the woods. It's so gay.
- 34:03It's folklore before folklore. Yes, that's that is actually
- 34:06such a good point. And then of course, I hit the
- 34:08Sunday matinee is in the one. So maybe not related, but just
- 34:14interesting to point out. Yeah, very well could be.
- 34:17But guess what it did on that day in March when they went to
- 34:21see The Hunger Games? It poured rain, but guess what?
- 34:25It never rains in Lai actually went through the record the the
- 34:28weather records of every. Oh my God.
- 34:31Place Taylor we. Are a scientist.
- 34:33Yes, and the basically there's like one or two times, but it
- 34:37like rains again in LA later, but Taylor's not there.
- 34:39She's in Nashville. And so like it's hard to know
- 34:42for sure, but the only time I have Taylor somewhere it's
- 34:45raining that whole spring and summer is this day.
- 34:49And of course, what does everything has changed?
- 34:51Say all I know is pouring rain and everything has changed.
- 34:56And, like, I bet it rain that day because that's the first
- 34:59time they ever hung out that we know of, right?
- 35:02And I went and looked and it did.
- 35:04I, like, predicted it. And then it did.
- 35:06And I was like, yeah, because that song's fucking about Diana,
- 35:09right? That's fucking crazy.
- 35:12That's just crazy that you found the rain records, right, of it
- 35:17raining. Yeah.
- 35:18And also just like the whole theme of everything has changed
- 35:21is she's bad in so many, Like not so many, but like like
- 35:25different relationships at this point.
- 35:29What is so different about this? Why has it changed everything
- 35:34for her? And what do you know now?
- 35:37I mean, we've said it before, but it bears repeating.
- 35:40What do you know that you didn't know before that's so important,
- 35:43and now you just want to know the better.
- 35:45And the first time she's hanging out with Diana, it pours rain.
- 35:48And it never rains in LA. Like it really doesn't there's.
- 35:51More to everything that's changed though, of course we
- 35:54have the line. All I've seen since 18 hours ago
- 35:57is green eyes, your freckles and your smile.
- 35:59OK, Diana has green eyes and she has a light dusting of freckles.
- 36:03Her makeup covers them up a lot, but there's a few hot HD photos
- 36:07floating around out there and you can see she has a proper
- 36:09little dusting of freckles. And of course, she has a smile,
- 36:12too, so that fits. Diana tweeted about everything
- 36:17has changed. When the album dropped, she
- 36:19screenshotted it, and she was in Paris or France filming for a
- 36:23movie called The Family that was shot on location in France.
- 36:26And she said, like, oh, I'm really proud of you, Taylor.
- 36:28Something like that. We're having a listening party
- 36:30in the trailer, and the French are digging it, too.
- 36:32And the picture she tweets is everything has changed.
- 36:35And it's odd because she literally has a song on this
- 36:39album dedicated to her, and it's 22.
- 36:42Why'd she tweet about everything has changed?
- 36:44That's kind of weird. Right.
- 36:47Suspicious right? Lastly, the liner note in the
- 36:51album is misspelled. Now some people think this is
- 36:55reached. Some people think this is like
- 36:56stone cold evidence. So I'm kind of neutral on it.
- 36:59Whatever it's interesting, but Hyannis port Hyannis is spelled
- 37:04wrong. So that's the liner note.
- 37:06It has an I added in before the a So Hyannis is usually spelled
- 37:09Hyannis, but when she spells it in the liner note is she spells
- 37:17it HYIANN. Of course, Diana's name is
- 37:21spelled Dianna. So this center IANN people, some
- 37:28people think she included that it's and it's sort of like a
- 37:33play on Diana's name or just like a little joke about, you
- 37:36know, Hyannis port. Of course, she did go to Hyannis
- 37:39port with Diana, right? People forgot, people forget
- 37:43that Diana was there. There's like pictures of them on
- 37:46the dock. And the media was just like,
- 37:50anyways, Connor Kennedy. I really do believe that the
- 37:54misspell is on purpose just because like she when she does
- 37:58Easter eggs and when she first started doing Easter eggs in her
- 38:01albums, it was all about like capitalizing the letters and
- 38:04like creating a code. And I think that's intentional.
- 38:09She's, she had already been doing it.
- 38:12She knew how to spell the word. And she has a, she has, she
- 38:20continuously misspells words on purpose.
- 38:22I mean, like, this is a Kaler thing, but like, or Karlie Kloss
- 38:27misspelled Taylor's name and it was like Taylor, Yeah.
- 38:30And then she said my name is whatever you decide.
- 38:33Right. I just think that's interesting.
- 38:37Even if you went out and bought like a red CD in 2015, 2016,
- 38:40somebody came to the blog and they were like, I got mine in
- 38:422018 and it still says that. So make of that one she does.
- 38:48She does correct stuff when people like call her out, like
- 38:50remember when she. Yeah, yeah.
- 38:53And then she also removed spelling is fun from me when
- 38:57people didn't like that, like from recording, which I feel
- 39:00like she should have kept but whatever.
- 39:02Yeah, spelling is fun. I know people dragged that so
- 39:05much. Yeah, several times the anti
- 39:07hero music video when she used the word fat, which, you know,
- 39:11honestly, maybe isn't her word to be thrown around so loosely,
- 39:14although it is of course her personal experience, right?
- 39:17But she took it out after people sort of had a problem with that.
- 39:20So it's just like, well, she can go back and correct a music
- 39:22video or correct a song. Why wouldn't she fix this?
- 39:26You know, people pointed it out and she never did.
- 39:28So it does like maybe it is intentional, right?
- 39:31Yeah, it seems like a point. And also just we've talked about
- 39:36it, but there's queer themes in the song, this anxiety, this
- 39:38like magic thing that she knows now that makes them, this person
- 39:41more accessible to her. What's that all about?
- 39:44Right? I also think there's some
- 39:46reference tonight in the song. I don't have the exact note, but
- 39:48like, I think this is someone she like is self late talking to
- 39:51or you know what have you. And it used to be more simple to
- 39:55talk about the red songs, but then we got the vault tracks,
- 39:57and there's so much vault track Diana on this message in a
- 40:02bottle. Is very interesting because
- 40:06this, you know, is a song. It's the first song she wrote
- 40:09with Max Martin Scheelback. We know she was working with
- 40:11them for the first time in the summer.
- 40:13So we know that, right? And we're back to the freckled
- 40:16muse with captivating green eyes.
- 40:19And you would think that this is the everything is changed muse
- 40:22because it says green eyes, your freckles and your smile.
- 40:25And then, of course, in this song, she said, I became
- 40:26hypnotized by freckles and bright eyes.
- 40:29So the freckles person is back, and of course we've established
- 40:35Diana's freckles and green eyes. But Taylor asked how is it in
- 40:38London? And she's missing them while
- 40:41they're in London. This seems to confirm this.
- 40:43Muse has that in common with the comeback Be here muse.
- 40:46And This is why I say, wouldn't it be simpler?
- 40:48If the this was not a smattering of songs about Jake Gyllenhaal,
- 40:51Harry Styles, Connor Kennedy and maybe Zac Efron?
- 40:54Wouldn't it be simpler if it was just about the same green eyed
- 40:59person that Taylor seems to be spending a lot of time with and
- 41:02fixated on in 2012 Summer and spring?
- 41:07And of course we established Diana spent time in London
- 41:09without Taylor. So she's asking how is it in
- 41:11London? It's because Taylor's not in
- 41:12London and this person is. Diana fits that.
- 41:15Harry does not. Connor certainly doesn't.
- 41:17J, you know J Gyllenhaal doesn't have freckles, right?
- 41:20So and then there's also the line about replaying your
- 41:25laughter disaster here. I'm going to give you a little
- 41:27tweet exchange between Taylor and Diana.
- 41:29So Taylor said, went to get coffee today.
- 41:32Open my change purse seashells fell out.
- 41:35Barista goes, sorry, we only take cash or credit.
- 41:37So there's that and Diana replies to Taylor at like a
- 41:41little sip like a little, you know, I don't know, bottom maybe
- 41:47she says, I can't stop laughing. I can't stop.
- 41:51And of course, Diana is kind of famous for having this big,
- 41:53bold, loud laugh. So replaying your laughter
- 41:55disaster, that's giving those vibes.
- 41:59But these tweets? Of like Diana and like you can
- 42:04really see how down bad Diana is.
- 42:07Truly, she's always tweeting at Taylor.
- 42:09She still follows her tweet. Replying and like Twitter like
- 42:12Taylor like doesn't even like reply and Diana.
- 42:14Taylor never tweets about Diana. Diana's just always like,
- 42:17standing her. Now, Taylor did post Diana to
- 42:19Instagram some, but Diana's just like her reply got on Twitter.
- 42:22It's so cute. She still follows her, or at
- 42:24least she did like, I don't know, back in 2021, like last
- 42:26time I looked, she still follows her.
- 42:28I loved that. And she only follows, like, 10
- 42:29people, so that's fun. There are queer vibes in this
- 42:34song as well. I'm reaching for you terrified.
- 42:38Like, girl, calm down. I need you to like, calm down.
- 42:41What is so high stakes? What is so scary and confusing
- 42:45and crazy about this love, Right?
- 42:47And then she said, I know that you like me.
- 42:50And it's kind of frightening. It's so cute and it's so.
- 42:55Gay it is. Yeah.
- 42:56Yeah. It feels like almost more
- 42:59immature than how she had been writing on Speak Now.
- 43:04And I think there's something like, giddy about, like, being
- 43:09with a girl that kind of brings out, like, your inner child,
- 43:13kind of like hanging out with, like, a girl best friend.
- 43:15It seems so much more like cute about it and like scared about
- 43:19it than she was when maybe she was writing about like, Jake
- 43:22Gyllenhaal. Yeah, yeah.
- 43:24Well, it's interesting. Even on the breakup songs I'm
- 43:26read, this is something heavy. This is something Taylor sat
- 43:30with for a long time. And, you know, there is like an
- 43:33evolved. I mean, All Too Well is one of
- 43:35her best songs because it is such an evolved, you know,
- 43:38thoughtful, mature take on a relationship ending and also
- 43:42very relatable. But then we come to this and
- 43:45it's like, I know you like me. I'm so scared.
- 43:47And it's like, OK, well, we're in a different.
- 43:49We're in a different order. Yeah, it's not that person that
- 43:52she's talking about. Yeah, for.
- 43:54Sure, nautical theme of message in a bottle, which of course,
- 43:57like that's a thing, right? People would put a little scroll
- 44:00in a glass bottle and send it off to the world.
- 44:02That's something that happens at the ocean seems to echo the
- 44:05coastal town vibes of Hyannis Port, which of course Hyannis is
- 44:09everything has changed muse. So, you know, there's some
- 44:12crossover there and the nautical themes that are rampant in 1989.
- 44:17We have all sorts of beach themes that come up in the music
- 44:20video and the song This Love, which also the timeline for This
- 44:24Love fits really well for Diana. It's not in this outline, but
- 44:26there's so much, there's so much, but we're just we're
- 44:28sticking to a few things here. But and we know Taylor worked on
- 44:32the song in the summer because of working on it with Martin and
- 44:34Shellback, right? The very first night.
- 44:36I didn't even do a full analysis for this, but I just want to say
- 44:39it's super swift ground coded as well.
- 44:40They spent time in hotels together.
- 44:42They threw a tea party for Shirley Mckinney's birthday.
- 44:45There's very much queer vibes. They don't know this is like a,
- 44:48you know, they don't know how much I miss you.
- 44:49They don't know we're still talking like this is a secret
- 44:51relationship. And I think it fits in the
- 44:53timeline really well because Diana had to go to Paris for
- 44:55three months at the end of the summer.
- 44:57And like whatever their their connection was, was it official?
- 45:00Was it not? I feel like, you know, they
- 45:03weren't spending any time together and it could have been
- 45:05like a break, if you will. And I don't even know if they
- 45:08had like, I don't even half the time I'm like, I don't even
- 45:11think they knew what they were doing.
- 45:13I think they were just like hooking up and falling in love
- 45:15and they didn't know what to call it or they're not.
- 45:16I don't think they're monogamous like girlfriend, girlfriend.
- 45:20I think there's like. So too, right, I think like when
- 45:23a lot of the times when people like listen to Taylor Swift or
- 45:26like anyone, anyone singing like any of these lyrics, we assume
- 45:29that these are like full-fledged relationships and like we have
- 45:32right? Like they weren't necessarily
- 45:34like fully dating. And I think a lot of the times
- 45:37when you're kind of like figuring out your sexuality and
- 45:39like, especially when it's like a girl in your friend group,
- 45:42it's like, what is this? Seems like there's a lot of
- 45:45confusion there. What do you think about like, we
- 45:48don't have time to get into all this, but the Connor Kennedy
- 45:51situation, Like, do you think that they were dating or do you
- 45:54think that that was kind of like like a courting of like two
- 45:57families, like the Kennedys and like, like, what do you think
- 45:59that was? I have mixed feelings on this.
- 46:03So for a long time I was like I guess she just fucking dated him
- 46:08and it wasn't deep and it was mostly because she was obsessed
- 46:11with the Kennedys. And like I still think the love
- 46:14songs are by Dana but sure. I mean they hung out together,
- 46:16they went to wedding, they crash a wedding together and got
- 46:19kicked out of it. Like she signed him out of
- 46:22school once that actually happened, she went to his
- 46:27mother's grave with him. So it's just like, well, they
- 46:30were spending time together. But then I got some information
- 46:33that made me think like I'm sure they were friends, but like, no,
- 46:38I don't think they dated. And it's just it's hard to say,
- 46:44but I do think she needed a green eyed muse for the summer
- 46:48for everything has changed. And I think she was just like,
- 46:51yeah, the fine, he's fun. We have fun together.
- 46:54It's Kennedy. And I don't know, like, did they
- 46:56go make out sometime? Maybe Like it's hard to put it
- 46:59all when. Has that ever meant anything?
- 47:01Right like I hope she wasn't sleeping with him cuz he was a
- 47:04child but I. Really, really hope.
- 47:07Right, I don't have the strongest feelings on it one way
- 47:10or another. And if you told me they had
- 47:12crushes on each other and Spencer, I'd be OK.
- 47:14Fine. Yeah, it could be full-fledged
- 47:16PR. I don't know.
- 47:18I don't have the strongest feelings on that one, but I
- 47:20just. I don't think these love songs
- 47:21are about him. I will say that pretty confident
- 47:24because they're written before she met him.
- 47:26Also, in the very first night, it's someone she misses and we
- 47:29have Diana going to Paris. So this isn't someone who's
- 47:32cheated on her, who's done her wrong, who's gaslit her.
- 47:35Allaja Gyllenhaal, who's cheated on her like Harry supposedly
- 47:38did. This is just someone.
- 47:39The only problem is there distance between them in the
- 47:41very first night. I just miss you.
- 47:42I wish I could fly and pick you up.
- 47:44Right. I wish we could be together
- 47:45right now, but we can't. Well, Diana being off in Paris
- 47:49and in France fits for that. She didn't do anything wrong.
- 47:53You know, there's no cheating. There's no big breakup incident.
- 47:56It's just, gosh, there's distance between us.
- 47:58So with Harry, he cheated on her with Jake Gyllenhaal, that was
- 48:02basically, you know, predatory on this abusive relationship,
- 48:05you might say, right? And he just drove her crazy and
- 48:08broke her heart. But with Diana and the very
- 48:11first night music, it's just like, well, someone just had to
- 48:13go away for a while. But I really miss you.
- 48:15And they don't even know. Nobody knows how much I miss
- 48:17you. OK, Let's like, OK, homo.
- 48:19Anyway, don't maybe start saying slurs.
- 48:21So to sort of wrap things up, Diana and Taylor have spent
- 48:26basically the entire spring and summer together, and their
- 48:28relationship does seem to carry on a bit into the fall.
- 48:31There's some iconic shit, right? We have this pat footage of
- 48:34Harry and Taylor and a group of their friends.
- 48:36They're going to Emma Stone's birthday party, and Harry
- 48:39reaches up and, like, does something to Taylor's hair,
- 48:42right? This is when Haylor's going on
- 48:44and Diana pushes him away she goes.
- 48:49I don't want this. Yeah, she looks pissed in these
- 48:51pictures. She looks so annoyed and it's
- 48:53just like, OK Queen like go off. And then you have to wonder like
- 48:59that, even to an extent, because if if Haylor is completely 100%
- 49:03APR relationship and Diana and Taylor involved, why would she
- 49:06care that much about Harry? So then you wonder, like, does
- 49:09Diana even know like our our hair?
- 49:11Like I do think Haylor was PR and I've heard as much from like
- 49:14people who know people on his team at his record label.
- 49:17But like, does Diana even know, you know, are they even openly
- 49:21communicating? I think some people see these
- 49:23the Gaylor relationships and there's like, oh, the Taylor and
- 49:26the girl are in a monogamous, confined, defined relationship
- 49:31and the men are, you know, very defined by, you know, contract
- 49:37beards. And I'm not saying that's never
- 49:38happened. Great.
- 49:40But I also think there could be some Gray where like Taylor's
- 49:43team gets her with Harry because yes, that's amazing PR And no,
- 49:46they're not really mutually attracted to each other or
- 49:48anything, but like, yes, they go out and spend time together.
- 49:51We do have a video of them kissing.
- 49:52It's weird as hell, right? It's so it's so awkward.
- 49:56And Taylor's brother is also videoing them at midnight at at
- 49:59New Year's. It's like so weird.
- 50:01But I am very much into the Gray space where it's like maybe
- 50:04Diana's annoyed because like she and Taylor never put a name on
- 50:07what they were and they're totally in love.
- 50:09But like now Taylor's spending all this time with Harry and
- 50:12that would piss you off, right? So I, I'm not, look, if you want
- 50:16to tell me like Haylor was like 100% PR fine.
- 50:18I'm, I'm not against that or anything, but I'm just kind of
- 50:21open to maybe the reason Taylor's so scared and getting
- 50:24confused and things are so complicated and all her, these
- 50:27relationships and all the songs she's she's talking about this
- 50:30relationship is because it wasn't defined.
- 50:33Yeah. You know, and I would be
- 50:35shocked, you know, I had my first queer relationships were
- 50:37all like that. They were just like, I'm having
- 50:39sex with this girl and I, we don't know why, but we both keep
- 50:42doing it, you know? It's so true.
- 50:44Yeah. Especially like when it's
- 50:46confusing for the amount of pressure that they're under.
- 50:49I doubt it was like, Oh yeah, we've kissed once.
- 50:52Now we are in a relationship and we need a strict beard.
- 50:56Yeah, I think I agree with you. Especially like early on.
- 51:00And I think it is possible that she was like in APR relationship
- 51:03with Harry and then like maybe she was like, wait, do I like
- 51:06him? And then made out with him and
- 51:08it's like it's confusing like she's only 2223 like.
- 51:12And I also agree that it's not just because she was in APR
- 51:16relationship, or at least that's what I think with Harry.
- 51:19Doesn't mean that like everyone is tuned into that.
- 51:23Diana might not have even known that, right?
- 51:25Maybe we decided he is. Yeah, So when Diane's like, OK,
- 51:29wait, now you're seeing this guy, like, yeah, yeah.
- 51:33She could be genuinely confused. And I also think that makes
- 51:36sense. Like why would you have everyone
- 51:38in your life know? Like that's so many people to
- 51:42know about that you. Just can't know for sure, but I
- 51:45think there's data in the timelines and the music to
- 51:47suggest that like who who knows what's going on, but just
- 51:53something intense. But maybe it wasn't defined.
- 51:55Maybe right. And I think I, I very much like
- 51:58I'd like to talk about that. Like a lot of gaylors are like,
- 52:01oh, this was her girlfriend and then this was her girlfriend.
- 52:03And if that's what gets you off, great.
- 52:04I'm not here to say what you should believe or not, but just
- 52:07for me a lot like more confusion and more like things are
- 52:12unlabeled. And then of course, Taylor has
- 52:13all these songs about like, you know, what is illicit affairs
- 52:16about? She's singing about someone
- 52:18she's sleeping with that has a male partner, right?
- 52:20That's explicitly in the song. Unless she's talking to herself,
- 52:23but whatever. But it's just like so much of
- 52:26Taylor's music is not about simple cut and dry
- 52:28relationships, and that's what's so queer about it.
- 52:31But then that also tells me like, Taylor is just, you know,
- 52:34particularly back when Red was being written.
- 52:35I don't think this is some gay woman that's very secure in her
- 52:39sexuality and it's just like putting on airs with Connor
- 52:42Kennedy or Harry Styles. I think it goes deeper than
- 52:44that, but. I think so too, especially like
- 52:47in 2012. Right.
- 52:49And I also think people underestimate how much potential
- 52:53cheating there is going on. Taylor writes about love
- 52:56triangles and cheating an awful lot for somebody that's only
- 52:58ever in monogamous connections. We're going to talk about two
- 53:02songs on 1989. Now.
- 53:04A lot of 1989 ties back to Diana.
- 53:06We just, and there's queer themes throughout that whole
- 53:08album. We just can't get into everyone.
- 53:10But I do want to talk about the song Clean.
- 53:12So Taylor writes Clean on February 8th, 2014, and Clean
- 53:16claims that Taylor is 10 months sober from the relationship that
- 53:21this the song is commenting on. Now.
- 53:22Of course, Taylor and Harry had broken up 13 months before this
- 53:27time, but clean is definitely the Harry song.
- 53:30Aside from style, everybody says cleans about Harry.
- 53:32She did give a quote saying like she was in England or London and
- 53:36she wrote the song because she realized like, oh, I'm like this
- 53:40is where this person lives and I haven't even thought about them,
- 53:42so I must be clean. That's the quote she gave.
- 53:45But let's talk about the ten months sober line.
- 53:49So what's 10 months before February?
- 53:52It's April, April 2013 to be specific.
- 53:55And what went down in April 2013?
- 53:58Well, probably a lot. Probably a lot.
- 54:00We can't say for sure, you know, what's going on or not.
- 54:04But on April 16th, 2013, someone drops a photoshopped fake
- 54:09article onto Tumblr saying that Swickron is dating.
- 54:12You guys have probably seen the screenshot.
- 54:14It says Taylor Swift is in a new relationship, but it's not what
- 54:16you expected. And it's got a picture of Taylor
- 54:18and Diana and it says that they're dating.
- 54:20And it says, let's be honest, the rumors are confirmed.
- 54:24You know, Taylor and Diana, they're they're an item.
- 54:26This is photoshopped. This is not real.
- 54:29That does not stop it from spreading like wildfire on
- 54:32Twitter. So there's.
- 54:33An I believed it when I saw it. Right, there's an absolute
- 54:36uproar on Twitter. Tayana or Swiftgraw is trending
- 54:41and everyone is talking about this.
- 54:42Over the coming days. It builds for a week with
- 54:44thousands of people tweeting about it.
- 54:46For whatever reason, on April 23rd, Diana deletes her beloved
- 54:49Tumblr blog. Fell down the rabbit hole.
- 54:52So she says, you know, this will be the Last Post here.
- 54:57Dear Tumblr, I think it's time to lay you to rest.
- 54:59And she says it's been a lovely friend and goes on this blog was
- 55:03so beloved by Gleeks, by any of Diana's fans.
- 55:06She would just share stuff. She would share people's
- 55:08artwork. She would share her own, like,
- 55:10stuff. She would share music she liked.
- 55:12And everybody loved it. I mean, she must have had so
- 55:14many followers. This is when Tumblr was, like,
- 55:16popping off, too. Yeah.
- 55:18Big time or Tumblr? That is not Diana's only Tumblr
- 55:21account. So in the fall of 2020, me and
- 55:23my followers uncovered Diana's secret Tumblr blog.
- 55:26I remember when this happened. Yeah, so I can, I can go into,
- 55:30if somebody needs to know, come what I will say on Tumblr, send
- 55:33me an Anon, I'll explain or DM me on Instagram, anywhere I'm at
- 55:36what I will say everywhere. And if you really need to know,
- 55:40like the process we went through to know, it's Diana's Tumblr
- 55:43blog. But we did this is like Factory.
- 55:45It is it, It was hers. She doesn't use it anymore, but
- 55:48it was hers anyway on that day. Diana reblogged two things on
- 55:53April 23rd, OK. She reblogged a post that says,
- 55:56I will always care for you, even if we're not together, even if
- 55:59we're far, far away from each other.
- 56:02And then she also reblogged a picture of two people, their
- 56:05silhouettes, and they're looking at each other kind of across a
- 56:07starry night sky. And it says one day we'll meet
- 56:10again. These were reblogged directly
- 56:12from their sources, which means it didn't just randomly show up
- 56:14on Diana's feet. Like she got these posts as they
- 56:17were written by someone and they have one hashtag in common and
- 56:23that hashtag is lost love. So Diana, the same day she
- 56:27deleted her Tumblr, she's sitting emo.
- 56:30I just picture her. She's a cross legged emo.
- 56:32She's sitting in her bed. She's scrolling Tumblr on the
- 56:34Lost Love hashtag and reblogging sad posts about losing someone.
- 56:40She's so mean. And then ten months later,
- 56:43Taylor writes Clean where she says, I'm 10 months sober now.
- 56:47There's more that goes on between them.
- 56:48They end up going to a concert together later.
- 56:50Like there's a couple more. There's like Diana, you know,
- 56:53tags Taylor on Twitter one or more times.
- 56:55But it's just like, you can still be friends with someone,
- 56:58but still, you know, be told like this is no longer going to
- 57:01be intimate. We can stay friends.
- 57:03But like, that's that. And and this happens all after
- 57:08this big uproar where people are talking and maybe that talking
- 57:11even turns screams about them on Twitter.
- 57:15And also clean seems to echo everything has changed.
- 57:19The rain comes pouring down. All I know is pouring rain.
- 57:22And then the rain came pouring down in both songs.
- 57:24And Taylor allegedly, I don't have any receipts on this.
- 57:27I swear to God I've seen it though Taylor allegedly liked to
- 57:30post on Tumblr about how butterflies are in both songs.
- 57:33And like, as good Swifties, we should pay attention because,
- 57:36you know, the butterflies and everything has changed are the
- 57:39same butterflies that turn to dust and clean and that seems to
- 57:44confirm the songs would be about the same person.
- 57:47But everything has changed. Hyannis Port Well, that's Conner
- 57:49clearly right and clean. That's about Harry in London.
- 57:52She you know that that's supposed to be about him.
- 57:55Wouldn't it make a lot of sense if they were about the same
- 57:57person with these butterflies that are first?
- 57:58So like, I feel butterflies, I'm so excited.
- 58:00And now the butterflies are turning to dust.
- 58:02Wouldn't it just be so very simple?
- 58:03Like what is going on to I miss you too.
- 58:10I'm very sad about this. And it's like a timeline of one
- 58:14person, and all of these, like, characteristics are the same.
- 58:18And so it just doesn't make sense.
- 58:19Yeah. For it to be about these, like,
- 58:21random other people that she, like, allegedly had
- 58:23relationships with, Especially when you throw in, like, Zac
- 58:25Efron. Like what?
- 58:27So we need to talk about one last song because it wouldn't be
- 58:30a Swift Ground episode if we didn't talk about Wonderland.
- 58:34So of course, and it's funny, go play Clean and let Spotify keep
- 58:37running. And then Wonderland comes right
- 58:39on. So to me, Clean is about the
- 58:41break up and then Wonderland is just further comments on the
- 58:44same situation. Yeah, what you need to know, of
- 58:47course, is that Diana's favorite book of all time is Alice in
- 58:49Wonderland. She brought it up in interviews
- 58:51all the time, tweeted about it, auctioned off a signed copy of
- 58:53it for charity. Her private Tumblr is filled
- 58:56with reblogs about Alice, and her public Tumblr was called
- 58:59Fell Down the Rabbit Hole. So I have a little joke that
- 59:02Diana didn't used to have a personality.
- 59:04She just had Alice in Wonderland.
- 59:05It was very quintessentially her brand.
- 59:08Of course, the song says, didn't you flash your green eyes at me?
- 59:12We're back to the Green eyed muse.
- 59:14Everything has changed. But everything has changed about
- 59:15Connor. But Wonderland supposed to be
- 59:17about Harry Styles, right? So now of course Harry and
- 59:19Connor do both have green eyes. I'll say that.
- 59:21But wouldn't it make sense if all these songs she fell in love
- 59:23with someone in the spring of 2012 has green eyes?
- 59:26And now we're back to we have another green eyed muse showing
- 59:29up on 1989. Would it make sense if that was
- 59:31the same person? Wonderland describes a
- 59:34relationship where she and the Muse were warned not to be
- 59:37together. Didn't they tell us?
- 59:38Don't rush into things. That is very commonly something
- 59:41queer people here, especially when you're younger.
- 59:44Well, don't rush into it. You don't know.
- 59:45It could just be a phase, right? Haven't you heard what becomes
- 59:50of curious minds? Curious.
- 59:52Bi curious, maybe. What are we curious about,
- 59:54girls? I mean, shut up.
- 59:56Like this is the what I think is like one of the loudest minds
- 1:00:01because what's? Curious before about her being
- 1:00:05in like any other relationship with a man.
- 1:00:07Like the curiosity takes you to discovering something else with
- 1:00:12a woman like we What if this is something more like why all of a
- 1:00:17sudden would she be curious about something and why would it
- 1:00:19be curious to like a guy? Another white guy with brown
- 1:00:22hair and. And listen, if she had written
- 1:00:26this, like, when she was in high school or like on Fearless, I'd
- 1:00:29be like, OK, yeah, you're curious about the opposite sex
- 1:00:32at that point, Like, you're learning about that.
- 1:00:34But given that she's 2425, when she writes this, it's just like,
- 1:00:39what are you curious about? But it gets gayer.
- 1:00:41It gets gayer than that, too. And love to think straight is a
- 1:00:44lyric in this song. Are you joking 2?
- 1:00:47People who let her keep that in. There's a reason this song's a
- 1:00:51bonus track. That's all I'm gonna say, right?
- 1:00:53Then we also get the lyrics. But there were strangers
- 1:00:56watching and watching Turn to talking and talking turn to
- 1:00:59screams. This seems to maybe be
- 1:01:02referencing the April 2013 Twitter storm.
- 1:01:05And also, by the way, this is gay.
- 1:01:07Like, who cares if someone talks about you dating your boyfriend,
- 1:01:10right? You're public, you're in a
- 1:01:12public relationship. Who gives a shit?
- 1:01:14Now of course I can imagine like One Direction fans were famously
- 1:01:18misogynistic towards Taylor and hated her because they all want
- 1:01:21to date the boys. This is what happens every time.
- 1:01:23Like if a if a girl dates a famous guy, her fan base will be
- 1:01:27like, Oh my God, we love him. His fan base will be like, fuck
- 1:01:30her, he's mine. Yeah.
- 1:01:31That's so, so true. You see that with the 1D guys a
- 1:01:34lot, so and. Plus, like, why would it be
- 1:01:38shocking for her that people are talking about them when she's
- 1:01:41doing these like pap shoots in Central Park with Harry?
- 1:01:44It wouldn't be like, Oh no, people are talking and we need
- 1:01:47to be quiet about this and run from the foxes.
- 1:01:50They have their cages and whatever.
- 1:01:52It's like you're in Central Park and there's cameras around
- 1:01:56Junior holding hands with them, like.
- 1:01:57I once joked that I know places like it.
- 1:02:01It should be. If it's about Harry, it should
- 1:02:02be called I Know Paps. Because it's like, girl, you're
- 1:02:05not hiding. You're very doing, deliberately
- 1:02:07doing the opposite of hiding. Right, I know where we can find
- 1:02:11someone to take our picture. Yeah, like I know places that we
- 1:02:14can be seen together and promote our mutual project park.
- 1:02:17Yeah. Yeah, and I, by the way, I like
- 1:02:19Harry, like I don't, you know, I like his music, like Harry's
- 1:02:22fun. I totally.
- 1:02:23I have an episode about how he dated Nick Grimshaw, because
- 1:02:26that definitely went down. I.
- 1:02:27Like, remember this episode? Yeah.
- 1:02:29No hate, no shade to Harry, but it's just like, why would she be
- 1:02:34so concerned at people talking about them?
- 1:02:36Other than yes, when people talk about Taylor Swift and a man, it
- 1:02:39can get very loud. It can get very loud and very
- 1:02:41chaotic. And when people talk about Harry
- 1:02:43Styles and a woman, it can get very loud and very chaotic.
- 1:02:46I I'll give you that, but just two in love to think straight,
- 1:02:50having heard what becomes a curious minds talking and
- 1:02:52screaming. This person didn't do anything
- 1:02:54wrong. The muse of Wonderland didn't
- 1:02:57cheat on her again. We're back to this.
- 1:02:59Like, the only thing that's wrong with this person is
- 1:03:01people. We're finding out about it.
- 1:03:03Yeah. The the 1989 muse is the one who
- 1:03:07got away. It's just because you're clean,
- 1:03:09don't mean you don't miss it. I wish you would come back on,
- 1:03:12on. I wish you would.
- 1:03:12Which by the way, there's all sorts of there's clues about I
- 1:03:15wish you would and Diana buying a house and Harry bought.
- 1:03:18A house, but it was. Later, right?
- 1:03:19I'm not even gonna. I can't.
- 1:03:20We don't even have time for analysis.
- 1:03:21On that too much, yeah. Then she goes on to write I know
- 1:03:24places in 2014 and she said, well, I just gotten out of
- 1:03:28relationship where, you know, there was too much noise about
- 1:03:30it and I met someone new and I'm basically trying to tell them
- 1:03:35this won't happen again. How and how am I going to make
- 1:03:38sure that doesn't happen again? We'll hide.
- 1:03:40We'll go to Big Star and hide. Maybe Karlie Kloss has green
- 1:03:44eyes, too. Let's just say that.
- 1:03:47So. And it's, I know places like she
- 1:03:49gave an interview to the Grammys museum where she was saying,
- 1:03:51like, yeah, I wrote this song basically thinking of my last
- 1:03:53relationship, how wrong it went. And then if I met someone new,
- 1:03:57here's what I would say to them to assure them what happened in
- 1:03:59the last relationship wouldn't happen again.
- 1:04:02And what does she tell that person?
- 1:04:03She doesn't say, well, you better not cheat on me or you'd
- 1:04:05better be a supportive partner. You'd better show up, be there
- 1:04:08for me. She says, don't worry, babe,
- 1:04:09I'll hide us. It's so gay.
- 1:04:13Looks. So gay.
- 1:04:14Why would she need to hide a relationship you know?
- 1:04:17Especially because the next like public relationship she has
- 1:04:20after Harry is like Calvin Harris.
- 1:04:22Yeah, they didn't hide. Right.
- 1:04:24They're very public. Right.
- 1:04:26Yeah. It's almost like she's like
- 1:04:27learning her lessons. And this was like a very
- 1:04:30chaotic, confusing moment for her where she's like, finally,
- 1:04:35like an adult, but like having this relationship with a woman
- 1:04:39who where it's confusing and she's like, OK, I cannot have
- 1:04:43this happen again. I need to be on the same page
- 1:04:46with someone. And it's like being on not in
- 1:04:49control of like the media narrative surrounding it.
- 1:04:52Like I feel like her and her team are like scrambling.
- 1:04:55The Wonderland music someone whose relationship was ended
- 1:04:59with her. She was warned not to be with
- 1:05:01this person. They were too in love to think
- 1:05:03straight. And then talking and talking,
- 1:05:06turning to screams broke them up.
- 1:05:09And if you want to say Taylor had a relationship in the spring
- 1:05:12and summer of 2012 and then went through a breakup due to people
- 1:05:15gossiping about if you actually listen to the music, the thing
- 1:05:19that makes the most sense is that Diane Agron's the Muse.
- 1:05:22And I say that as a big skeptic. I am a big skeptic about a lot
- 1:05:27of things and it's funny. I'll I'll like get away from it
- 1:05:31and I'll be like, I don't know, supra and that'd be crazy if it
- 1:05:33happened. So I have my girlfriend, her
- 1:05:35name's Gabriella Lindley and she's a YouTube, right?
- 1:05:37She has a big following. She used to kind of be like
- 1:05:40very, very, very famous and you know, the cycle goes on.
- 1:05:43And like now she just has her little niche that, you know,
- 1:05:45with her fans that she does. But we have a public
- 1:05:48relationship and I do know that like people that talk about us
- 1:05:52kind of get everything wrong. Now, listen, we're nowhere near
- 1:05:56as famous as like Taylor and Diana, but I will say like fan
- 1:05:59theories. We even have a conversation
- 1:06:01about this when she did this work on timeline with me, we
- 1:06:04have a conversation about like, I love me some Sukron, but it's
- 1:06:06funny. I, I can stay skeptical on it
- 1:06:09because I just know that fan theories about like public
- 1:06:11figures, relationships are so often wrong because I know that
- 1:06:14like she has people who follow her that will comment on her.
- 1:06:17And I'm just like, you could not be speaking further from the
- 1:06:20truth. Like you're just going off stuff
- 1:06:22you saw on social media. And that is just not what's
- 1:06:26happening, right? That's such a good point.
- 1:06:28Like there are some of these clues that are probably directly
- 1:06:31pointing to Swiftgron or Tilly or something like that.
- 1:06:35And then there's probably some clues that aren't clues at all.
- 1:06:40And we're completely misguided and like we kind of like the
- 1:06:45left a note on the door of the joke he made.
- 1:06:48And like, yeah, I still think swift grunt happened, but is
- 1:06:52that about the door? Like no, cuz the dates are are
- 1:06:56different. So it's like it's hard because
- 1:06:59like we really are never gonna know the truth of like every
- 1:07:02single moment. But when you put all of these
- 1:07:05things together, it's like, OK, Swift Braun, like probably
- 1:07:08happened. It just makes so much.
- 1:07:10Fucking sense and it's, but I sit here like I have just
- 1:07:14floored myself. Like not to suck my own Dick or
- 1:07:16anything, but it's just like, damn, when you put it all
- 1:07:19together in an hour long conversation or whatever, it's
- 1:07:23just like, and there's more. There is, yeah.
- 1:07:26There's where I have not gone into.
- 1:07:28Yeah, it just makes more logical sense.
- 1:07:30Like if a robot took all of the data and put it together without
- 1:07:34the biases of like homophobia, they would be like, that's more
- 1:07:39likely to be the muse. I wonder if we could put the
- 1:07:41timeline into like Chat GPTI and be like, so guys, here's the
- 1:07:45team. What happened here?
- 1:07:47The robot's like that would be fascinating.
- 1:07:50The. Robot's like, I'm not allowed to
- 1:07:51say slurs, but they're dykes. Some things don't make sense.
- 1:07:57But when you sit down and like go through all of this and you
- 1:08:02look and you know for a fact we know.
- 1:08:04So you know, we don't know super dated for a fact, but we know
- 1:08:06for a fact that Taylor fell in love with someone in spring of
- 1:08:092012. This person had green eyes and
- 1:08:11freckles. This person was with her in
- 1:08:13Hyannis Port. This person spent time in New
- 1:08:15York City and London without her.
- 1:08:17This person, you know, something dramatic happened with this
- 1:08:20person in April of 2013. And you look for somebody
- 1:08:23publicly in Taylor's life that fits that.
- 1:08:25It is only that it is only her. If you sit down and look at it,
- 1:08:32Diana is the one who makes the most sense.
- 1:08:33She's publicly hanging out with Taylor.
- 1:08:35She has green eyes and freckles. She was in London and New York
- 1:08:37City without Taylor. She was in Hyannis Port with
- 1:08:38Taylor, right? She had the least Taylor.
- 1:08:41It was raining at the Sunday matinee.
- 1:08:44Are you kidding me? Right.
- 1:08:46She just again and again and this, this is not even getting
- 1:08:49into like the analysis for I wish you would, which masters
- 1:08:52really well for Diana. The out of the woods analysis,
- 1:08:54which masters well for Diana and the babe music video.
- 1:08:57We haven't even talked. You don't even have to talk
- 1:08:59about it if you see the babe music video is basically a shot
- 1:09:02to shot remake of a music video that Diana was in the I'm not
- 1:09:05the only one music video so that's just.
- 1:09:07Search the two music videos and put them side by side.
- 1:09:10It's like the same. Yeah.
- 1:09:12This has been so great. Thank you so much for coming on
- 1:09:15and like doing a deep dive because I could not do it
- 1:09:17justice. All credit to a Tumblr Blogger
- 1:09:19named Aaron, AKA Kayler, or Gaylord Nation.
- 1:09:23She wrote the first Swift broad master post.
- 1:09:25But I wrote my own and I built on it, yeah.
- 1:09:29Great. Thank you.
- 1:09:30SO. Much.
- 1:09:32Yeah, of course. It's my absolute pleasure.
- 1:09:33Check out my episode on What I will say we're about to do an
- 1:09:38episode on Gabrina and how Sabrina Carpenter is probably
- 1:09:43queer. Yeah.
- 1:09:44It's going to be a great time, yeah.
- 1:09:45I'm excited. Thanks everyone for listening
- 1:09:47and reminder to subscribe to my YouTube and also follow me on
- 1:09:51Spotify and Apple as well. Hi everyone.
