- 0:00Speaker 1: The world is too much with us. The world is
- 0:03Speaker 1: too much with us. Late and soon, getting and spending,
- 0:08Speaker 1: we lay waste our powers. Little we see in nature
- 0:12Speaker 1: that is ours. We have given our hearts away, a
- 0:15Speaker 1: sordid boon. This sea that bears her bosom to the moon.
- 0:20Speaker 1: the winds that will be howling at all hours and
- 0:23Speaker 1: are upgathered now like sleeping flowers. For this, for everything,
- 0:29Speaker 1: we are out of tune. It moves us not. Great God,
- 0:33Speaker 1: I'd rather be a pagan suckled in a creed outworn.
- 0:37Speaker 1: So might I, standing on this pleasant lee, have glimpses
- 0:41Speaker 1: that would make me less forlorn, have sight of Proteus
- 0:45Speaker 1: rising from the sea, or hear old Triton blow his
- 0:49Speaker 1: wreathed horn.
