Transcript
- 0:03Welcome to Worldview Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events, defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Fiorazzo.
- 0:20Friends, family in Christ, thank you so much for tuning in.
- 0:22God bless you.
- 0:23We appreciate you sharing the podcast.
- 0:25We've got our friend Olivier Melnick back with us.
- 0:28And I've got some exciting news.
- 0:29You know, he was in Green Bay, Wisconsin this year for the Worldview Matters Conference.
- 0:34Well, we're doing another one.
- 0:36And next year, I've got it right up right now.
- 0:39It's live.
- 0:40The website just went up.
- 0:42You can get your tickets on Eventbrite.
- 0:44You can see all the speakers if you go to worldviewmattersconference.com.
- 0:49That's worldviewmattersconference.com.
- 0:54The theme is Redeem the Time.
- 0:57Once again, same theme.
- 0:58There it is.
- 1:00And it's going to be at the Tundra Lodge Resort Water Park and Conference Center online.
- 1:05on Lombardi Avenue in Green Bay, Wisconsin, just down the street from historic Lambeau Field.
- 1:11All right, Olivier Melnick, shalominmessiah.com.
- 1:15That's his website, shalominmessiah.com.
- 1:18Brother, always good to see you.
- 1:20Thanks for your time today.
- 1:21Hey, thanks for having me, David.
- 1:24It's always good to be on your podcast, and lots going on, and we could probably do one a week and still not cover everything.
- 1:33Exactly.
- 1:34And there's and yeah, there's always things to notify the body of Christ about equip the saints.
- 1:40But so you were just at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania at the Abraham to Armageddon conference.
- 1:45Our friend Brad Reeves, Brandon Holthouse was there, J.B. Hickson, Tom Hughes.
- 1:50You guys, I watched it online.
- 1:52It was a great conference.
- 1:54Tell us a little bit about that.
- 1:55And then I also want you to share a little bit about your experience in Green Bay when you spoke at the Worldview Matters conference.
- 2:02Well, the Gettysburg Conference was incredible.
- 2:07It was Pastor Brad Reeves' first conference of that magnitude, really, with all the speakers and organizing everything like you recently did for you as well.
- 2:17And there's a lot of moving parts when you do something like this.
- 2:21And it went really well.
- 2:22Yeah.
- 2:23And what amazes me is that when we go, and I do quite a few of those conferences, I am invited to quite a few, with usually the same usual suspects of the speakers.
- 2:38We...
- 2:40We come in and there is an overarching theme and we're not really told exactly what to speak on.
- 2:46Occasionally we are, but most of the time, you know, the person inviting us says, you know, will the spirit lead and, you know, stay within the theme.
- 2:54We cover the theme and we overlap a little bit on each other, but it's amazing how...
- 3:01It's almost like we have a meeting prior to the conference and we all say, okay, I'll do this, you'll do this, you'll do that, and it will all fit nicely as pieces of a puzzle to make a clear picture.
- 3:11But we don't do that.
- 3:14We just show up and say, okay, I'm speaking on this.
- 3:16Oh, I'm speaking on that.
- 3:17It's gonna overlap a little bit.
- 3:19And then at the end of the conference, we go like, wow,
- 3:21We covered a lot of ground.
- 3:23We overlapped.
- 3:23We repeated a little bit, but it all fits nicely into this end times prophecy, Israel, you know, Bible prophecy.
- 3:34And so it's always a joy to see how this is all going to fall together.
- 3:38And what is the same for your conference, David, although it was not...
- 3:41specifically an Israel-focused conference.
- 3:45But it was really on the importance of taking the Bible seriously.
- 3:49That's the way I'm looking at it.
- 3:50You had all kinds of speakers.
- 3:52As a matter of fact, you don't know this, but at your conference, I met Jay Siebert.
- 3:58Sigurd, sorry.
- 3:59Sigurd, yeah.
- 4:00And we had tables next to each other.
- 4:03He spoke, I spoke.
- 4:04We headed off.
- 4:05Next thing you know, he's telling me about those tours he's doing in the Grand Canyon, creation tours.
- 4:11And Ellen and I just got back from the tour last week.
- 4:14Oh, my goodness.
- 4:15That's awesome.
- 4:16We signed up and we had a blast.
- 4:20It was incredible.
- 4:21I would recommend Starting Point, I think it's called.
- 4:25Yep, the Starting Point Project.
- 4:28Starting Point Project.
- 4:29Anybody who's interested in visiting the Grand Canyon and looking at the Bible and being equipped to discuss the Bible and God with atheists, and it's just amazing.
- 4:41three-day tour.
- 4:42We needed a vacation.
- 4:43Yeah, there you have them on the screen.
- 4:45We needed a vacation.
- 4:47Ellen on the plane back, she goes, Olivier, I'm so tired.
- 4:51We need a vacation.
- 4:52We were on the bus the first day for 14 and a half hours.
- 4:56Oh, my goodness.
- 4:56Wow.
- 4:57Wow.
- 4:58Yeah, it was incredible.
- 4:59So thank you for bringing him to the conference because now we're friends.
- 5:03And so there was all those different aspects of taking the Bible from different angles, seriously looking at what the Bible teaches us.
- 5:12You know, of course, I brought the anti-Semitism aspect.
- 5:15You brought the creation.
- 5:17And there was so many different things.
- 5:18And your conference was really...
- 5:21really, really well attended and it was great.
- 5:25And then next year is gonna be even better.
- 5:26Although I'm not gonna be one of the speakers, we can't be that great.
- 5:31We couldn't squeeze.
- 5:32I don't want to spoil everybody.
- 5:34He didn't want to bring you back again.
- 5:35No, Jay is a great—he's going to be here next week, by the way.
- 5:38He's going to be in studio next week on our podcast.
- 5:41So, yeah, what a blessing.
- 5:42And I'll tell him you did a commercial for his ministry on your podcast.
- 5:48In a minute, Olivier and I are going to talk about the progressive conditioning against Israel.
- 5:52But one more thing briefly, Olivier.
- 5:54Sorry.
- 5:55You know, we—
- 5:57doubled the occupancy for next year's conference.
- 6:02I just want to be honest with our audience.
- 6:05I don't have a massive team and staff and ministry building and facility and all that.
- 6:10I put a lot of my own money into the conference, so I raised the registration fee.
- 6:15It's $89 for 14 speakers over two days and a 60- to 90-minute Q&A panel on Friday night
- 6:26We'll see how that goes.
- 6:27But it's going to be a great conference with a lot of great guests and speakers.
- 6:31You can, again, friends, worldviewmattersconference.com.
- 6:34It's not cheap to put these on.
- 6:36I want to do it right.
- 6:37I'm thankful for you and the others who took a chance on coming...
- 6:41to Green Bay for the first one.
- 6:44There's a lot I learned and a lot I need to improve on as far as hosting a conference.
- 6:48But Lord willing, we'll each year, unless the Lord takes us home, we will continue to do this, Lord willing.
- 6:55So thank you again, Olivia, for your ministry.
- 6:58You spoke twice.
- 7:00one of two speakers.
- 7:01Nobody next year is speaking twice, by the way.
- 7:04And by the way, I was, I don't know if you remember, I spoke twice, but I was suffering from a terrible cold, and I was miserable.
- 7:12And it's happened to me a few times when I go speak at a conference, and I get there, and I'm sick, and I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 7:17But you couldn't tell.
- 7:18You couldn't tell, you know.
- 7:20Oh, I could tell.
- 7:21I could tell.
- 7:21You could.
- 7:22But you know what?
- 7:23Sometimes when we're not feeling well, that's when we focus more, and God just
- 7:29You know, I mean, sometimes it's even better.
- 7:32But anyway, Olivier, so before we jump into the progressive conditioning against Israel, I just want to talk about what's going on in Texas briefly, because I came across an article our friend Nathan Jones at Lamb & Lion Ministries wrote, and the Dallas-Fort Worth campaign,
- 7:50This area is home to 62 Sunni mosques and five Shia mosques for a total of 67.
- 7:57And this is one of the largest and fastest growing Muslim communities in the U.S.
- 8:04So as a fellow Texan, are you concerned about what's happening in a so-called red or conservative state?
- 8:11Of course I'm concerned.
- 8:13You know, I've got to be honest with you.
- 8:14I've been keeping an eye on the, for lack of a better word, the Islamic invasion of America for, well, since I started my study and teaching on anti-Semitism, which was in 2000, so 26 years.
- 8:30Wow.
- 8:31And it's been increasing.
- 8:33You know, a lot of it is increasing.
- 8:37what you could call a stealth jihad, where there is a, you know, Muslims would get, you know, they would have a lot of children, grow their family and not really integrate in the community.
- 8:49They would show integration, but they're not really honest about it.
- 8:53Many of them infiltrating different levels of government slowly, patiently,
- 9:00until they have more of a voice.
- 9:02And all of a sudden, in the last few years, we've seen, and I've been in Texas, you know, I'm not a long, long, long time Texas.
- 9:09We moved in September of 21.
- 9:11So it will be, next month will be just, you know, five years.
- 9:15But I've seen an increase in building mosques, building madrasas, which is like, you know, Islamic schools and Islamic centers, 45 minutes from us, like in McKinney and,
- 9:29in the Plano area, Allen, McKinney, they're building, there is this place called Epic City that they're trying to build.
- 9:37And right now the Texas government basically, they're postponing the inevitable because they're stopping or slowing down the building of that area simply by finding loopholes in the building permits and in a way of saying like,
- 9:56You can't do it that way, so you're going to have to go back to a drawing board and get back the paperwork.
- 9:59So it's adding another three months, another six months.
- 10:02But they're not really seeing the big picture of the sharia law takeover of the state, which is what's at the end of the day, that's what they're trying.
- 10:14So that coupled with all the different Islamic red-green axis players that are popping up,
- 10:23in different states now, like, you know, Al-Sayed and Mamdani for a few months now, you know, it's picking up momentum.
- 10:34And, you know, recently, I think I read, I might have read the headline today or yesterday.
- 10:42I can't keep up with when and how much I read every day, but I mean, you know what I mean.
- 10:47And our viewers too.
- 10:49The Dallas-Fort Worth DFW Airport is installing foot washing basins in the airport bathrooms.
- 11:00Wow.
- 11:02And here's the question I always ask.
- 11:11to people when they do that.
- 11:12If you're going to install in a public bathroom, a foot basin for Muslims, would you also install in the middle of the terminal in a corner somewhere, a place when there are prayer shawls for Jewish people to go and put them on their head and have their prayer time?
- 11:30Of course not.
- 11:30The answer is no, because it's a public place.
- 11:33But yet for Muslims, there's never a question.
- 11:37I'm not, I don't want to sound racist because, you know, people say, well, you're an Islamophobe.
- 11:42Well, you know what?
- 11:43Maybe I am an Islamophobe, but Islam is not a religion.
- 11:45It's an ideology.
- 11:46I have nothing against Arabs.
- 11:48They need Jesus, just like the Jews, just like anybody else in the world.
- 11:53The teaching of Islam, I don't agree with.
- 11:56And for them to push that on us, basically, David, what I think is happening here is that that section of Islam trying to push, take over of Texas, basically, the subliminal or the unspoken message, we should say, is basically, if we can conquer Texas,
- 12:17We can conquer anywhere in the U.S. because we are the red state, you know, gun-toting conservatives, Texas.
- 12:26And if they can conquer Texas, then, you know, everything else in the U.S. is basically, you know, fair game.
- 12:33I think you're spot on.
- 12:35I think that's part of the strategy because Texas is like, that's the big prize.
- 12:39I mean, California would be, but California is a progressive blue state.
- 12:44But Islam's growth rate has risen 500% over the last 50 years, and their two strategies are holy war, jihad, and immigration.
- 12:57Right.
- 12:58Well, there's no holy war, you know, as far as the physical violence in America and other countries.
- 13:04Yes, in America, no.
- 13:05But immigration, they're using our system to populate our countries and state by state.
- 13:14So we just have to be aware this is happening and continue to challenge this because you're right.
- 13:20It is demonic and so is anti-Semitism.
- 13:24It is demonic and irrational.
- 13:26It's part of your definition.
- 13:27So let's segue now, Olivier, into the progressive conditioning against Israel.
- 13:32We've talked about their accusations of occupying land over there.
- 13:38To me, that's just amazing that people think that way when you look at a map that Israel is an occupier.
- 13:43But let's start with colonization.
- 13:46We haven't talked a lot about that word and the meaning and how they use that accusation.
- 13:50Let's start there, please.
- 13:52Okay, so, and by the way, just to wrap up, what we talked about Islam and Muslims, not every single Muslim is to be looked at that way, like they're trying to take over the world.
- 14:05I mean, our ministry, I have a man, a driver, who picks me up to take me to the airport and picks me up and brings me back home.
- 14:15You know, he's not on payroll, he's not on staff, but he's my main driver.
- 14:19And he's a Muslim, he's a practicing Muslim.
- 14:22Literally, when he picks me up sometimes at 5 a.m. to take me to the airport, he has to readjust his prayer.
- 14:26I mean, he is a Muslim.
- 14:28And we talk about Jesus in his car.
- 14:30We talk about me being a Jew, him being a Muslim, and me believing in Jesus.
- 14:35And he goes, Olivia, this is very confusing, but this is fascinating.
- 14:39And so we get along, and there are a lot of Muslims who just want to get along.
- 14:45And so I just want to make sure that this is said as well, because I don't want you or me to sound like we hate all Muslims, because we don't.
- 14:54No, we don't hate them.
- 14:55Well, we don't hate anybody.
- 14:57It's the ideology that is anti-Christian, anti-Jewish.
- 15:01Yeah, go ahead.
- 15:02Okay.
- 15:04So I was doing research recently for another presentation that I made, and I realized
- 15:12there's been a progressive indoctrination conditioning of the masses towards rejecting Israel and accusing Israel.
- 15:24And that progressive, it was like in four steps, colonization, occupation, apartheid, genocide.
- 15:31We're at the point right now in 2026, David, where
- 15:35And just about anywhere you go and you hear or see or read about anything from Israel's foes, the enemies of Israel, the enemies of the Jews, the word genocide pops up all the time.
- 15:49And I don't support genocides, I'm against genocide, and free Gaza from the genocidal people and on and on and on.
- 15:58So we didn't get there just when they say, OK, yeah, they're doing genocide because of October 7 and they're going and killing poor Palestinians, forgetting what happened on October 7.
- 16:09This has been a progressive thing.
- 16:10First, it was a colonization accusation that came with Yasser Arafat in the early 60s when he, a terrorist.
- 16:18Egyptian-born Palestinian was placed in a region to destabilize the region.
- 16:26He was put there by the USSR back then, wanting to destabilize the region.
- 16:31And then he accused Israel of colonization.
- 16:33But Israel...
- 16:35You look at it biblically or historically and geopolitically, Israel has the right to exist in that land.
- 16:42That if we had time, we could develop this Balfour Declaration and the San Remo Conference of Balfour 1917, San Remo 1920 in Italy, and then...
- 16:54the 1947 vote at the UN, all that put together gives Israel an undeniable legal right to exist and to thrive in the land of Israel from a legal standpoint.
- 17:10But for Christians above that, and stronger than that, is the biblical...
- 17:18precedent that we have when God gave the land to Abraham and his descendants through the son of the promise, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob.
- 17:26You know, Genesis 12 is a promise, Genesis 15 is the covenant with the boundaries, the Abrahamic covenant giving the land boundaries.
- 17:34Then in Genesis 26 and 28, through Isaac, through Jacob, not through the Arab lines, not again, not
- 17:41rejecting the Arabs through Ishmael, just saying that I selected this lineage through the Jewish people.
- 17:48I'm God.
- 17:48This is my prerogative.
- 17:50Deal with it.
- 17:51And so we have a biblical precedent, which I would put first, and a legal and geopolitical precedent making Israel the real place for the Jews to live and to build and to exist.
- 18:09which is not colonization.
- 18:12Colonization is when you take over land that does not belong to you.
- 18:16You colonize it like the French did, the French Empire, like the British Empire did.
- 18:20The sun never sets on the British Empire.
- 18:23That massive land mass taken by those two countries over centuries, nobody is talking about that today.
- 18:32Yet that little sliver of
- 18:34is so small, like the size of New Jersey.
- 18:37Everybody is talking about the Jews colonizing.
- 18:41And so you've got colonization, then you've got occupation.
- 18:44It's not enough that we colonize and we expand our territory.
- 18:47Now we are going to get in and occupy that territory.
- 18:50And again, we are being accused of occupying a territory that is
- 18:54was never not ours to start with.
- 18:57You know, I've been on your show before when we talked about the meaning of the word Palestine.
- 19:01We're not gonna repeat it.
- 19:02People can find the videos on your channel, on our channel at chelomanmessiah.com, on our YouTube.
- 19:08They're there.
- 19:09Palestine is an invention.
- 19:10It's just an invention.
- 19:12It was a name that was a landmass until 1948 and then it became a politically charged
- 19:19word that means that poor Palestinians are being displaced, but the Jews are not occupying land because you occupy something that's not yours.
- 19:27And then today, you know, we are being accused of occupation.
- 19:32Even a place like Amnesty International just recently published a report saying that Israel continues to occupy.
- 19:39And for the last three years of the war, they have occupied Gaza.
- 19:43That's a lie.
- 19:44That's a lie.
- 19:46There's no Gaza occupation by Israel.
- 19:48And as a matter of fact, it's not for the last three years.
- 19:522005 is when 9,000 Jews were asked, Israeli Jews were asked to take everything, including their dead bodies in cemeteries.
- 20:00Get out of Gaza.
- 20:02We're going to give it to the Palestinians so they can build their own infrastructure, their cities, their schools, their hospitals, and live in Gaza as a Palestinian Authority region and even make it even a resort.
- 20:18Seafront Resort, it's a beautiful area over there.
- 20:21The result is all that they did with all the money that was poured in that area and all they did was to build an underground structure of tunnels that led to the mass murder of October 7th, 2023.
- 20:38That's what's happening.
- 20:39There's no occupation.
- 20:41There's no occupation.
- 20:43No, and as you said earlier, the Bible takes precedent, and then what happened historically with the Balfour Declaration.
- 20:50But let's just say, in that land covenant, Israel is not even close to living in the land that God drew out the borders for, clearly, specifically in Genesis.
- 21:02So go ahead, Olivier.
- 21:03Okay.
- 21:03You know, that's going to happen in the Millennial Kingdom after the seven year tribulation when Israel will no longer be the size of New Jersey, but it will be the size of twice the state of Texas.
- 21:19You know, I kind of like the idea.
- 21:21And so, you know, you said Israel is not even close to have the land.
- 21:24Now, the land boundaries were given by God in Genesis 15, verses 18 through 21.
- 21:30You know, all the different people group, the Gergashites, the Jebusites, the
- 21:36the uh you know all those things those peoples the canaanites and you put it all together that's the twice the size of texas but right now israel has never has never attained those boundaries and it will be in the millennial kingdom but what i find fascinating is when you compare islamic takeover or the desire for islam to create a global caliphate on the entire planet
- 22:00There's no end to where Islam wants to expand.
- 22:03The end is basically when the whole planet is a Muslim community, then they will say, okay, everybody's at peace because now we take over the whole earth, okay?
- 22:13That's the limit, the whole planet.
- 22:15They keep going, they keep going, they keep going.
- 22:18Compare that to Deuteronomy chapter 2 verses 2 through 5 and verses 9.
- 22:23At the end, verses 2-5, it says, well, let me read the passage real quick.
- 22:30And the Lord spoke to me saying, you have circled this mountain long enough, not turn north and command the people saying, you will pass through the territory of your brothers, the sons of Esau, who live in Seir, and they will be afraid of you.
- 22:41So be very careful, do not provoke them
- 22:44And listen to this, David.
- 22:46I will not give you any of their land, even as little as a footstep, because I've given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession.
- 22:52And Esau is true, not the Jewish line, but the Arabs.
- 22:56And then in verse 9 of the same chapter, chapter 2 of Deuteronomy, Then the Lord said to me, Do not harass Moab, nor provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land as a possession, because I've given Ar to the sons of Lot as a possession.
- 23:10So we have...
- 23:11God telling the Israelites, I've given you boundaries.
- 23:15One day you'll have them all.
- 23:16But don't try to take lens that's not yours because I will not let that happen.
- 23:21That's the difference right there.
- 23:22Yeah.
- 23:24And so biblically speaking, the land belongs to the Jews, and there's no occupation, there's no colonization.
- 23:37But the next level is, you know, first you colonize, you grab land that's not yours, and you make it...
- 23:44to expand your territory of your country.
- 23:46Then you occupy, you get in, that's the accusation.
- 23:49Then once you occupy, you find out that you really don't want the people that used to be there to be there.
- 23:55So you make a separation and that's what you call, what we've been accused of with apartheid.
- 24:02And apartheid basically is something that happened in South Africa and that was a terrible thing.
- 24:08It was horrible.
- 24:09how a white minority treated a black majority and basically pushed them away and separated, and there was a superiority and segregation, and it was basically all racial.
- 24:25Now, the wall that's been built in Israel
- 24:28What's fascinating is that that wall, which is part wall, part fence, depending on where you drive, since it was finished, which I believe is in 2022, the most of it, so it's about four years old.
- 24:43By then, David, 97% of the deaths based on prior to the wall by terrorists
- 24:52had been avoided.
- 24:53So there was a 97% decrease in death toll inside the walls since the wall was put up.
- 25:02So it's not a wall to separate because of racial superiority.
- 25:07It's a wall to protect Israelis inside that wall.
- 25:11The wall exists on both sides.
- 25:15It's not a wall.
- 25:16No, but people don't think that way.
- 25:18It's not a world that keeps the Arabs out because we hate the Arabs.
- 25:22You know what?
- 25:22The Jews on the other side, they have that world to look at too.
- 25:26And that world exists on both sides, except that it's a world to protect them, not to separate from the Palestinians.
- 25:35It's to protect them from the terrorists.
- 25:37And again, not all Palestinians are terrorists either.
- 25:40Two million Arabs live in Israel with very good conditions.
- 25:45I know some.
- 25:46I have friends in the old city who are Arabs that I purchase things from when I go visit.
- 25:52And they're very happy to live in Israel proper.
- 25:56So we're talking about the progressive conditioning against Israel.
- 25:59And the final one, it leads to the accusations of genocide.
- 26:03Accusation of genocide.
- 26:05David, you're gonna love this, and I know we have very little time left, so I'll have to speak fast.
- 26:11Recently, by the time you post this, it will probably be two weeks old or something, two or three weeks old.
- 26:17The UNICEF, the children's section of the United Nations, published a report literally a few days ago saying like, we have to be honest with the world
- 26:30There's no starvation of children under five in Gaza.
- 26:36There's no famine, no starvation.
- 26:38They've been pushing this genocidal country, killing through starvation and famine.
- 26:43And 1.3% of Gazan children suffer from malnutrition as opposed to 5% in Iran and 12%
- 26:54in Syria and all other countries, 1.3%.
- 26:57There's no genocide.
- 26:59This is the only country, Israel, where they tell people when and where they're going to hit some structures and then go seek shelter.
- 27:08We're going to bomb that building because Hamas is under it.
- 27:12Nothing like this has been seen in conventional warfare except what Israel has been doing.
- 27:17And 50,000 children have been born in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war.
- 27:22If we are genocidal, we're not really good at it.
- 27:25Yep, exactly.
- 27:25So again, friends, colonization, occupation, apartheid, and genocide.
- 27:30This is progressive conditioning.
- 27:31We have to understand the truth and know how to respond and defend this.
- 27:35Brother, thank you.
- 27:35It goes by so fast.
- 27:37Blessings, Olivier.
- 27:38ShalomandMessiah.com.
- 27:40To be continued, brother.
- 27:41Thank you.
- 27:43God bless.
- 27:45Friends, thank you for sharing this one.
- 27:46God bless you.
- 27:47And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
