- 1:45Speaker 1: use with your kids. They can put it alone with
- 1:47Speaker 1: the Bible, read alone. They can do the activities. There's
- 1:50Speaker 1: activities in here that will encourage them to dive a
- 1:54Speaker 1: little deeper, will encourage them to dive a little deeper.
- 1:57Speaker 1: So today, Father God, in the name of Lord, I
- 2:00Speaker 1: thank you for yet another day, another day that was
- 2:02Speaker 1: not promised me, Lord God. But I thank you for
- 2:04Speaker 1: allowing us to see this day, this day that we've
- 2:08Speaker 1: never seen before. Lord God. So Father asked we go
- 2:10Speaker 1: out into this day, allow your Holy Spirit to lead
- 2:13Speaker 1: God and direct us. For God and Father asks, I
- 2:16Speaker 1: come forth on this live on today, Lord God, allow
- 2:20Speaker 1: the things that you will have me to say to
- 2:22Speaker 1: come forth to a God, the things that you will
- 2:24Speaker 1: have me to share, Lord God, remove me out of
- 2:26Speaker 1: the way, remove me in the flesh, decrease me in
- 2:29Speaker 1: the flesh, and allow your spirit man to come up,
- 2:32Speaker 1: Allow your spirit mind to rise, and that the things
- 2:35Speaker 1: that you would have me to say will come forth
- 2:37Speaker 1: on today, and that they may fall on fertile side,
- 2:40Speaker 1: on fertile ground, that they would hear, that they will
- 2:43Speaker 1: fall in the ears that need to hear what is
- 2:46Speaker 1: going forth on today? And Father asked that you will
- 2:48Speaker 1: give us a clean heart and a clear a clear
- 2:51Speaker 1: heart and a clear mind that we may receive. That's
- 2:54Speaker 1: what you are sharing with us on today. And this
- 2:57Speaker 1: I asking your son Jesus, name a man a man,
- 3:00Speaker 1: a man a man again. I thank God for this space.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I thank him for the opportunity. I thank him for
- 3:06Speaker 1: the podcast. I thank him for just being able to
- 3:09Speaker 1: come on here and to be able to share. So
- 3:12Speaker 1: thank you guys for joining me on this morning. We're
- 3:15Speaker 1: gonna go ahead and get started. We're gonna go ahead
- 3:17Speaker 1: and die right on in. Not gonna prolong it any
- 3:20Speaker 1: longer because we've been waiting around for people to come in.
- 3:23Speaker 1: But I'm gonna go ahead and get this lesson started.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So again I want to welcome you you today number
- 3:28Speaker 1: nine on our spiritual journey. We have been on this
- 3:31Speaker 1: journey now one hundred and ninety days, one hundred and
- 3:36Speaker 1: ninety days into this new year, into twenty twenty five. Y'all,
- 3:41Speaker 1: we are one hundred and ninety days almost over. If
- 3:44Speaker 1: you look at it, it's almost over. Twenty twenty five
- 3:47Speaker 1: is almost gonna. So today, y'all, we're going to focus
- 3:51Speaker 1: on a transformative gift called gratitude. Let me say that again.
- 3:57Speaker 1: We're gonna focus on a transformative gift call gratitude. It
- 4:03Speaker 1: may seem simple, but it is power and profound. Gratitude
- 4:10Speaker 1: can soften a heartened heart, it can illuminate dark situations,
- 4:15Speaker 1: and it can shift your whole perception towards open and joy.
- 4:21Speaker 1: The Apostle Paul reminds us in First Thesalonians five and
- 4:25Speaker 1: eighteen that given thanks in all circumstances isn't just good advice,
- 4:32Speaker 1: it is God's will for us. As you reflect on
- 4:35Speaker 1: today's lesson, invite the Holy Spirit. To open your eyes
- 4:40Speaker 1: to hidden lessons and cultivate a thankfulness that ennites joy
- 4:46Speaker 1: and aligns you with God's perfect plan. The scripture for
- 4:51Speaker 1: today is give thanks in all circumstances, for this is
- 4:57Speaker 1: God's will for you in Christ. Ye. That is First
- 5:00Speaker 1: Thessalonians five and eighteen, and that is coming out of
- 5:04Speaker 1: the Ni version. Our affirmation for today is going to
- 5:09Speaker 1: be gratitude transform my perspectives. Gratitude transform my perspective. We're
- 5:17Speaker 1: speaking this over our life. Those little things that we
- 5:20Speaker 1: are grateful for will transform our perspective and how we
- 5:24Speaker 1: see life. Our title is cultivating thankfulness, bringing joy and
- 5:32Speaker 1: in aligns us with God's will. Cultivating thankfulness brings joy
- 5:38Speaker 1: and aligns us with God's will. Gratitude is more than
- 5:45Speaker 1: a polite thank you. It is powerful. It is a
- 5:50Speaker 1: spiritual posture that shifts an entire outlook on life. In
- 5:55Speaker 1: First Thessalonia five and eighteen, Paul instructs us to give
- 5:59Speaker 1: thanks and all circumstances, not just when things are going good,
- 6:03Speaker 1: not when we're up on our high horse, but in
- 6:06Speaker 1: all circumstances, all circumstances. That means we need to embrace
- 6:14Speaker 1: gratitude when we embrace gratitude, y'all. We open our heart
- 6:19Speaker 1: to joy, peace and awareness of God's presence even in
- 6:26Speaker 1: the most challenging moments. Again, praise them through all things. Y'all,
- 6:31Speaker 1: Gratitude is not just God's suggestion, It is His will
- 6:35Speaker 1: for us. The simple acts of given thanks to align
- 6:39Speaker 1: will align us with God's heart, transform our attitude and
- 6:45Speaker 1: attracts His favor and blessings into our life. Y'all, Being
- 6:50Speaker 1: grateful will change our attitude, and it welcomes God into
- 6:56Speaker 1: our life. It is trans forms us. The scripture Philippians
- 7:05Speaker 1: four in eighteen say, finally, brothers and sister, whatever is true,
- 7:10Speaker 1: whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever
- 7:15Speaker 1: is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy,
- 7:24Speaker 1: think about such things. When we are intentionally practicing gratitude, y'all,
- 7:30Speaker 1: we can pilvot our attention away from the lack end
- 7:34Speaker 1: of challenges, chooses instead to focus on blessings that God provides.
- 7:41Speaker 1: We got, we got the use of our hands. We
- 7:44Speaker 1: got to get up this morning. We can. We can
- 7:47Speaker 1: drink a cup of coffee, we can drink some water.
- 7:49Speaker 1: We can we can walk, we can do these small things, y'all,
- 7:54Speaker 1: it's the little things that we should be grateful for.
- 7:58Speaker 1: These things, these alligance are our thoughts with Philippians four
- 8:02Speaker 1: and eight. It's say, training our mind to dwell on
- 8:05Speaker 1: what is good, what is poor, what is atnible. We
- 8:08Speaker 1: train our mind on that by rerouting negative perspective to
- 8:14Speaker 1: thankful ones, by being grateful bye bye bye, by showing joy,
- 8:19Speaker 1: by showing peace, by showing hope. Just having these things,
- 8:23Speaker 1: and y'all, they not just fruit of the spirit. In
- 8:30Speaker 1: Glations five twenty three and say, we move from posture
- 8:34Speaker 1: of worry and won't to one of expecting and encouragement.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Have gratitude, and you'll watch your posture change. It said
- 8:44Speaker 1: we would move from a posture of worry and won't
- 8:48Speaker 1: to one of expecting and encouraging. Because guess what, y'all,
- 8:53Speaker 1: there's over three hundred and sixty five promises in the Bible.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Every day you should walk into a promise. Every day
- 9:00Speaker 1: there's something that has promised you, so you should be
- 9:03Speaker 1: expecting that. So how do you expect something good from
- 9:06Speaker 1: him by thanking him for the things that he's already done. So, y'all,
- 9:10Speaker 1: how do we do that by just being thankful, just
- 9:13Speaker 1: being thankful for waking you up this morning, thankful for
- 9:16Speaker 1: being able to breathe, thankful to being able to see
- 9:20Speaker 1: even though some of us may have on glasses that
- 9:22Speaker 1: but fact that we can still see. Being grateful for
- 9:26Speaker 1: those little things, y'all, it's the little things that matter.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Gratitude invites God into our presence. In Psalms one hundred
- 9:39Speaker 1: and four, it says, enter his gates with thanksgiving, in
- 9:43Speaker 1: his courts with praise, give thanks to him, and praise
- 9:47Speaker 1: his name, y'all. In all things, we should be praising him.
- 9:51Speaker 1: We should be honoring him. We should be lifting him up.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Thankfulness open doors to God's active presence in your life.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Acknowledging him remind look Psalms one O four. It reminds
- 10:05Speaker 1: us that we approach God through thanksgiving by thanking him,
- 10:10Speaker 1: expressing gratitude every day, even when you're going through and
- 10:16Speaker 1: in the midst of adversity. We have to acknowledge him
- 10:20Speaker 1: that he is servering, that he is sovereignty, and that
- 10:25Speaker 1: he draws near. As we draw unto him, he will
- 10:28Speaker 1: draw unto us. This act of faith attracts God's presence,
- 10:34Speaker 1: and it invites him to move and bless and bring peace.
- 10:40Speaker 1: No matter what our circumstances. You could be going through
- 10:42Speaker 1: per hell, and you show gratitude, You show gratefulness, and
- 10:47Speaker 1: watch how he changed that situation. As we give thanks,
- 10:51Speaker 1: we reflect and trust God. We trust his provision in
- 10:56Speaker 1: character in our relationship with him deepens, y'all. He can
- 11:01Speaker 1: change our character in the midst of us just being
- 11:03Speaker 1: thankful us, just having gratitude, y'all. Gratitude is a daily discipline.
- 11:14Speaker 1: It is something that we should be doing every day.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Colossians three seventeen said, in whatever you do, when whether
- 11:22Speaker 1: in word or deed, let me say that again. And
- 11:25Speaker 1: whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it
- 11:31Speaker 1: all in the name of the Lord Jesus, given thanks
- 11:34Speaker 1: to God the Father through him. I'm gonna read that
- 11:38Speaker 1: one more time. And whatever you do, whether in word
- 11:41Speaker 1: or deed, do it all in the name of the
- 11:44Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, given thanks to God the Father through him.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Did you hear that in all things, gratitude must be
- 11:57Speaker 1: more than in occasion response. It should be a daily
- 12:03Speaker 1: discipline and a continual offering. In Colossians three and seventeen,
- 12:08Speaker 1: it just told us that we just read that power
- 12:11Speaker 1: urges us to incorporate thanksgiving into every part of our day,
- 12:17Speaker 1: even when life is tough. Y'all, then say that it
- 12:20Speaker 1: was gonna be great always. But he encourages us to
- 12:25Speaker 1: choose gratitude daily because it strengthens our faith and it
- 12:30Speaker 1: keeps us aligned with God's will for us. And y'all,
- 12:34Speaker 1: over time, this discipline becomes a spiritual muscle. It will
- 12:39Speaker 1: give you strength and it helps you to persevere, to
- 12:44Speaker 1: be a resilience and comfortably trust God. Y'all, His hand
- 12:50Speaker 1: is in every season, no matter what the season is.
- 12:53Speaker 1: It can be a season of pure hell, and He's
- 12:56Speaker 1: gonna be right there in the midst. All you got
- 12:58Speaker 1: to do is show attitude, be grateful for those things,
- 13:02Speaker 1: and watch what He do for you. I'm always reminded
- 13:06Speaker 1: about my apostles, she always say, and she's been saying
- 13:09Speaker 1: it for the last four and a half years, going
- 13:12Speaker 1: on five years that we've been on this parade line.
- 13:14Speaker 1: She says that that you are believing and trusting God
- 13:18Speaker 1: for she said, do it unto some she said, do
- 13:20Speaker 1: it unto someone else, and watch what God do for you.
- 13:23Speaker 1: She said that that you're doing believe in God for
- 13:26Speaker 1: do it for someone else, make it come to pass
- 13:29Speaker 1: in someone else like and watch God do it for you.
- 13:32Speaker 1: So if you're looking for you're looking for a financial blessing,
- 13:35Speaker 1: but less bless somebody with what you got and watch
- 13:38Speaker 1: what God do for you, y'all. He will take care
- 13:42Speaker 1: of all of our needs. And as we share these scriptures, y'all,
- 13:47Speaker 1: these scriptures show it is a foundation to show us
- 13:50Speaker 1: how transformative we can reshape our thoughts, invite God into
- 13:56Speaker 1: our space, and we can anchor ourselfs every day to
- 14:01Speaker 1: walk in our purpose according to that that He's called
- 14:04Speaker 1: us to, according to his word. Now, how can we
- 14:07Speaker 1: apply this day? And I'm gonna say it every day?
- 14:14Speaker 1: First thing in the morning, you should pray, let your
- 14:17Speaker 1: morning bring me word of unfailing love. For I have
- 14:22Speaker 1: put my trust in you. Show me the way I
- 14:26Speaker 1: should go for to you, I entrust my life, y'all.
- 14:31Speaker 1: That's a scripture Psalm forty three and eight. We should have.
- 14:35Speaker 1: We should say this every day. Let the morning bring
- 14:39Speaker 1: me word of your unfailing love, for I have put
- 14:44Speaker 1: my trust in you. Show me the way I should
- 14:49Speaker 1: go for you. For to you, I entrust my life.
- 14:55Speaker 1: To you God, I entrust my life that Psalms one
- 14:58Speaker 1: forty three and eight from the New International Version. Starting
- 15:04Speaker 1: each day with intentional gratitude sets a spiritual foundation for
- 15:10Speaker 1: everything that follows. When we begin our morning by thanking
- 15:14Speaker 1: God for his love, his provisions, and faithfulness, y'all, we
- 15:19Speaker 1: open up our heart to recognize His presence throughout the day.
- 15:24Speaker 1: This habit builds resilience, and it helps us develop a
- 15:28Speaker 1: spiritual expectancy, trusting that God will continue to move in
- 15:32Speaker 1: our lives. Much like the Psalms, we invite God's direction, reassurance,
- 15:38Speaker 1: and resetting our heart with hope and trust. Y'all, turn
- 15:44Speaker 1: those complaints into praise, Turn those complaints into praise. Do
- 15:51Speaker 1: everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become
- 15:56Speaker 1: blameless and puer children of God without fault. And a
- 16:00Speaker 1: wrap on cricket Generation Philippians two fourteen and fifteen. I
- 16:05Speaker 1: will bless the Lord at all times. His praises shall
- 16:09Speaker 1: continually rain in my mouth Psalms thirty four and one. Complaints, y'all,
- 16:18Speaker 1: complaints don't do nothing but drain you. It drained you
- 16:22Speaker 1: of your energy, and it diminish your faith. While praise
- 16:28Speaker 1: refreshes our soul and gives honor to God, y'all. We
- 16:33Speaker 1: can we can catch ourselves grumbling, complaining, and it becomes
- 16:40Speaker 1: a powerful spiritual discipline to immediately shift our focus. Our
- 16:48Speaker 1: focus from something to thank you to thanking God in
- 16:53Speaker 1: the moment. Scripture teaches us to exchange negativity to praise,
- 16:59Speaker 1: to create a atmosphere where God's present dwells and transforming
- 17:06Speaker 1: us into people of light and hope. So if you're
- 17:10Speaker 1: ready to be transformed today, this is how you can
- 17:13Speaker 1: transform today. Express thankfulness to others. Our gratitude is meant
- 17:21Speaker 1: to overflow into the lives of others in relationships that
- 17:25Speaker 1: we have. Taking time each day to be intentional, to
- 17:30Speaker 1: be intentional, to thank someone, to encourage someone, y'all, it
- 17:35Speaker 1: does not just bless them, but it multiplies joy and
- 17:40Speaker 1: affirmation and both your heart and my heart. The Bible
- 17:47Speaker 1: urges us to uplift and to build one another with words,
- 17:50Speaker 1: small acts of kindness and express appreciation reinforce a culture
- 17:56Speaker 1: of gratitude, unity, and reflecting Christ's love to the world
- 18:02Speaker 1: and first that Salonely in five and eleven, it said, therefore,
- 18:05Speaker 1: encourage one another and build each other up, just as
- 18:08Speaker 1: in fact you were doing. In Proverbs twenty five and eleven,
- 18:13Speaker 1: it says a word fiddity spoken is like apples of
- 18:18Speaker 1: gold and pictures of sibil. Y'all, this is a commandment.
- 18:23Speaker 1: This is what He telling us to do. He telling
- 18:26Speaker 1: us to do these things. So I'm gonna leave you
- 18:29Speaker 1: with this. I'm gonna leave you guys with this on
- 18:33Speaker 1: today because I believe it's a remember y'all, Gratitude is
- 18:44Speaker 1: a key that unlocks joy and peace no matter what.
- 18:51Speaker 1: No matter what you are facing, every situation, even the
- 18:55Speaker 1: tough ones, whole reason to give thanks. As you cultivate gratitude,
- 19:02Speaker 1: you would draw nearer to God. His blessing would overflowing
- 19:06Speaker 1: your life, and you will become a channel of joy
- 19:10Speaker 1: for those around you. Don't just wait for life to
- 19:13Speaker 1: be perfect, choose to see the good right where you are.
- 19:19Speaker 1: God is at work, and your thankfulness is your faith
- 19:24Speaker 1: and action. I'm gonna ask these two questions. I want
- 19:28Speaker 1: y'all to ponder these two questions throughout your day. What
- 19:32Speaker 1: can I thank God for in my current circumstance, even
- 19:37Speaker 1: if things are not perfect? How can I give Him praise?
- 19:43Speaker 1: How can I thank Him? Y'all? Is the little things,
- 19:46Speaker 1: the fact that you woke up this morning, that you
- 19:49Speaker 1: got another chance that somebody didn't get. Somebody didn't get
- 19:52Speaker 1: that chance. Somebody didn't get an opportunity to walk into
- 19:56Speaker 1: all of their dreams, to catch up with their destiny,
- 19:59Speaker 1: to allow those aspirations that they had to come to pass.
- 20:03Speaker 1: But yet you get another chance. You got another chance.
- 20:06Speaker 1: So throughout this day, y'all, think of ways that you
- 20:10Speaker 1: can give thanks despite of your current situation. The current
- 20:15Speaker 1: situation may not be good, it may not be the best,
- 20:19Speaker 1: but you still can give him praise. You still can
- 20:21Speaker 1: show his goodness through something. Think of this. How might
- 20:27Speaker 1: your perspective in your joy change if you may gratitude
- 20:34Speaker 1: a response in your every situation today, everything that come
- 20:40Speaker 1: at you, what if you handle it with gratitude instead
- 20:44Speaker 1: of negative I want you to live this lesson that
- 20:50Speaker 1: we have been going through on today. Live this lesson
- 20:53Speaker 1: of gratitude, and watch the atmosphere of your life change
- 20:59Speaker 1: and you move throughout today. Remember that gratitude isn't a
- 21:04Speaker 1: response to perfection, but it is a deliberate choice that's
- 21:10Speaker 1: turning ordinary moments into sacred opportunities. When you give thanks,
- 21:17Speaker 1: you draw closer to God's heart, and you reflect his
- 21:21Speaker 1: light to everyone around you. Let gratitude be your song,
- 21:25Speaker 1: on your lips and the posture of your heart, regardless
- 21:30Speaker 1: of your circumstance. Take time to answer the questions today
- 21:35Speaker 1: and allow gratitude to transform how you see, feel, and live.
- 21:42Speaker 1: May your experience, May your experience in God bring you joy, peace,
- 21:50Speaker 1: and His presence may overflow in every area of your life.
- 21:55Speaker 1: On today, I thank Him for each and every one
- 21:59Speaker 1: of you, and I pray that you live with a
- 22:02Speaker 1: thankful heart and watch God transform your perspective, your relationship,
- 22:09Speaker 1: and the world around you. It's not a coincident, it's
- 22:13Speaker 1: not happenstance, it's not an accident, but it was all
- 22:17Speaker 1: part of His creative plan on today for you to
- 22:21Speaker 1: hear whatever nugget you heard, I pray that it would
- 22:24Speaker 1: bless you. I pray that you can speak it into
- 22:26Speaker 1: not only your life, but into someone else's life. Know
- 22:30Speaker 1: that this journey that we're on, we're not owning alone,
- 22:33Speaker 1: and that He's given us word, He's given us scripture.
- 22:36Speaker 1: He's given us things that we can incorporate into our
- 22:39Speaker 1: lives that we can see his word manifest. It's in
- 22:44Speaker 1: our lives. So know that today we're giving thanks for
- 22:49Speaker 1: all things, not just some things, and not just when
- 22:52Speaker 1: we are happy. But he said, give thanks and all circumstances,
- 22:57Speaker 1: for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
- 23:02Speaker 1: That's first. That'salonely in five and eighteen. Let that resonate
- 23:05Speaker 1: with you. Let that ring through your spirit on today.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Praise Him in all things. I don't care what it
