- 5:05Speaker 1: Anybody have any questions? Anybody got any questions from me?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Anybody got any questions from me? Any questions, any questions,
- 5:11Speaker 1: any questions, any questions, any questions, any questions about visibility, collaborations,
- 5:23Speaker 1: what else have We've been talking about. I know, we've
- 5:26Speaker 1: been talking about visibility collaborations. We've been talking about our brands,
- 5:33Speaker 1: and while we chose different things for our brands, like
- 5:41Speaker 1: the color schemes and things of that nature. So you
- 5:46Speaker 1: are rebranding, So and you're rebranding, would you like to
- 5:53Speaker 1: come up and talk? You can come up. Let me
- 5:58Speaker 1: invite you up. If you wanna talk, you can come up.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Oh I didn't even see that. How you doing?
- 6:11Speaker 3: I'm alright, yeah, I.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Can hear, Yeah, I can hear you.
- 6:19Speaker 4: But yeah, I was thinking more like.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Not necessarily like only like changing the brand, but more so.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Like expanding.
- 6:36Speaker 1: So when you say rebranding, what what do you classify
- 6:41Speaker 1: as rebranding?
- 6:44Speaker 4: That's for me.
- 6:45Speaker 5: I think that rebranding would be like, in a way,
- 6:51Speaker 5: switching from one thing, one focus to another. And I
- 6:55Speaker 5: don't necessarily want to switch from one thing to another.
- 7:00Speaker 5: The I want to more so expand what I already have.
- 7:04Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, or I don't know if
- 7:10Speaker 5: it's like separating the two you know, but just like
- 7:15Speaker 5: I said, just expanding the name for more than one entity.
- 7:20Speaker 4: You get what I'm saying. It's like if I want to.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Do so you're you're talking about you as you as
- 7:29Speaker 1: a brand instead of just just your products. You're talking
- 7:34Speaker 1: about just you having different things. So like, for example,
- 7:38Speaker 1: for me, I have everything I do is pretty much
- 7:45Speaker 1: under QOC, which is Queen of Collaboration, which houses all
- 7:51Speaker 1: of everything that I do. So it has my podcast,
- 7:56Speaker 1: it has everything, but everything still has its own name,
- 8:00Speaker 1: it s, it has its own it's separate in its
- 8:04Speaker 1: own thing. But everybody know that that's minds that it
- 8:08Speaker 1: belongs to you know because so but mine. It's weird
- 8:14Speaker 1: because everything is so different. I don't advise that to
- 8:19Speaker 1: people because it is known that some people get when
- 8:25Speaker 1: when people see you or they see your logo, if
- 8:29Speaker 1: they see that attached to everything that they can identify
- 8:33Speaker 1: that that belongs to you and see that's not the
- 8:35Speaker 1: case for me. It's just I just I don't know
- 8:37Speaker 1: why people can identify my stuff. But I always tell
- 8:42Speaker 1: people to try to keep everything across all of your platforms.
- 8:49Speaker 1: So if it's gonna you might not want to just
- 8:53Speaker 1: identify as what is the name of your brand black
- 9:00Speaker 1: they collection. So when when people see that, they probably
- 9:05Speaker 1: think that it's just it's if they are poets, then
- 9:09Speaker 1: they just think you do poetry. They don't probably don't
- 9:12Speaker 1: even realize that you got clothes or not even clothes,
- 9:16Speaker 1: but the beauty products and different things of that nature.
- 9:22Speaker 5: Right, And and that's more so what I'm what I'm
- 9:26Speaker 5: thinking about. Like I want I don't want to necessarily
- 9:30Speaker 5: like change the names of things, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:32Speaker 4: But I want to keep it all under one umbrella, you.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Know, I want it to like, but me putting my
- 9:39Speaker 5: books and stuff out, I want to I want that
- 9:41Speaker 5: to be under my umbrella.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Too, what I'm saying.
- 9:44Speaker 1: So how do you brand? How do you brand something
- 9:50Speaker 1: if you just want it to be if you don't
- 9:53Speaker 1: want it to be under the name, like under the
- 9:55Speaker 1: like under the same names. But okay, so maybe just
- 10:00Speaker 1: everything have the same color scheme. For example, you want
- 10:07Speaker 1: everything to be black and white or black and gray
- 10:10Speaker 1: or black and purple or whatever, and black to represent
- 10:14Speaker 1: black beauty. So I did a I actually did a
- 10:20Speaker 1: life the other day and it's archive. It's uh, And
- 10:25Speaker 1: I have like an outline that that tell you different
- 10:28Speaker 1: stuff that you can do and why I chose the
- 10:31Speaker 1: different things, for the reason why I chose it. So
- 10:34Speaker 1: most people choose stuff because it has sentimental mental value
- 10:38Speaker 1: to them. So for me, I choose my colors and
- 10:40Speaker 1: most of my color schemes and they don't always have
- 10:43Speaker 1: a color scheme because everything, like for my books, everything
- 10:46Speaker 1: is separate because I design my book covers accordingly to
- 10:53Speaker 1: what the book is about, so it may not fall
- 10:58Speaker 1: into the color scheme. But if you look deep, and
- 11:01Speaker 1: if you look deep into my color scheme and the
- 11:05Speaker 1: most of the stuff that's in it, when I do
- 11:07Speaker 1: follow color scheme, it's always purple and gold, and it's
- 11:13Speaker 1: a reason why I choose purple and gold. You know.
- 11:16Speaker 1: So if you have those things that that makes you
- 11:20Speaker 1: you deep, are those things that separate you that will
- 11:23Speaker 1: draw people to you, That will people will be able
- 11:26Speaker 1: to connect and say, oh, this is something a shade,
- 11:29Speaker 1: This is what shades on whether it's a book or
- 11:33Speaker 1: a piece of clothes or your your your beauty line.
- 11:38Speaker 1: They still can tie all of that to LCHEE and
- 11:41Speaker 1: not even having to even have your name attached to anything,
- 11:45Speaker 1: but even just your logo, or you may have a
- 11:49Speaker 1: symbol that you may design yourself or incomporate incorporate your symbol,
- 11:55Speaker 1: may incorporate your name, It may incorporate something that makes
- 12:00Speaker 1: it unique to you but identifies your brand.
- 12:05Speaker 6: Huh okay, And I did a whole I did a
- 12:19Speaker 6: it's a I don't.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Forget what day it is, but it was in this,
- 12:24Speaker 1: it was during this, it was doing this challenge, So
- 12:31Speaker 1: I don't know if what day it was because everything goes.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I did everything by days. But most of those videos
- 12:37Speaker 1: are over on on what's the Name, but I know
- 12:40Speaker 1: they're on substat and I'm trying to see how they classify,
- 12:44Speaker 1: but all the what's the names are up and I
- 12:47Speaker 1: got with every one of them. There's like a list
- 12:50Speaker 1: of like stuff to do, Like even after this live,
- 12:53Speaker 1: I have a I'm gonna put up a substat that's
- 12:57Speaker 1: gonna have like different stuff attached to it talking about
- 13:00Speaker 1: different stuff that we talk about on here, Like I'll
- 13:05Speaker 1: do the rebranding information. It's posted up over there, and
- 13:09Speaker 1: then I'll just add like some side notes about that
- 13:13Speaker 1: and any other question that people may post, and I'll
- 13:16Speaker 1: just post it up on what's the name. But it's
- 13:18Speaker 1: a whole like this challenge that we're doing, it's a
- 13:21Speaker 1: whole list of videos, and it's just a whole list
- 13:25Speaker 1: of stuff. Like every day I do a challenge. If
- 13:27Speaker 1: you just want to listen to it, it's on our Heart,
- 13:32Speaker 1: It's on Spotify and it's up under the Crew podcast
- 13:38Speaker 1: and it'll just say day one challenge and they just
- 13:40Speaker 1: say what what it is or whatever. I should have separated,
- 13:44Speaker 1: but I didn't separate it. I may go back, That's
- 13:47Speaker 1: what I can do. I can go back and do
- 13:49Speaker 1: a set up a podcast just for that and it'll
- 13:54Speaker 1: just have the challenges on there, so it'll be easier
- 13:57Speaker 1: for people to get to That's what I may do.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I may do that, and then that way I can
- 14:02Speaker 1: go back and do the first that first week too.
- 14:08Speaker 1: But we've been sharing a lot. You're not in our
- 14:11Speaker 1: We have a group on Facebook. It's called Ignite the Fire,
- 14:16Speaker 1: Don't let the Flame go Out. Oh well, we always
- 14:20Speaker 1: posted over there and Milly grows. She goes live over
- 14:23Speaker 1: there a lot. She always participate in the challenges. She
- 14:27Speaker 1: been doing it every day. She did the last one
- 14:31Speaker 1: she did every single day every I'm talking about all
- 14:35Speaker 1: twenty one days by herself. Didn nobody else participate. She
- 14:38Speaker 1: was the only one participated.
- 14:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I gotta get back on what's going on.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And I've been doing it with her. This I think
- 14:46Speaker 1: I did fourteen days last time, but I've been doing
- 14:48Speaker 1: every day with her this time. I've been doing every day.
- 14:51Speaker 1: So we day eleven and today it was just to
- 14:54Speaker 1: do a Q and A. So I just wanted people
- 14:57Speaker 1: to ask questions if they had questions about writing books,
- 15:01Speaker 1: about their brand, how to get visibility, and all types
- 15:05Speaker 1: of stuff. Hey, Travida, Trevida, is you at work? Let
- 15:16Speaker 1: me see what she's doing.
- 15:18Speaker 3: She probably hadn't work. Let me see she.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Oh, come on up then, m yeah, come on up. Hey,
- 15:36Speaker 1: what you're doing sending here with the grand baby?
- 15:41Speaker 4: Hey?
- 15:41Speaker 1: Mamo?
- 15:44Speaker 4: Sh and now what bother her?
- 15:46Speaker 3: All?
- 15:47Speaker 4: Right?
- 15:47Speaker 6: Now?
- 15:47Speaker 4: Should say and say? Tt read my book?
- 15:53Speaker 1: Tell her she she old enough to be reading to us.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Now I'll be seeing her try. She'd probably be making
- 16:03Speaker 1: up all kind of stories. Now, Oh okay, so she
- 16:13Speaker 1: hiding huh? Or she would to get her cake?
- 16:16Speaker 7: Yeah, I got the k bone, so she don't left
- 16:20Speaker 7: me with the.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Wow?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Then what's the days? I'll tell you. So I'm doing
- 16:30Speaker 1: a Q and A today, I'm doing the challenge. So
- 16:33Speaker 1: I'm just on here. Just anybody got questions about branding,
- 16:38Speaker 1: collaborating things of that, about visibility, stuff like that, so
- 16:45Speaker 1: Shaye was asking about rebranding Trevida is she she does
- 16:52Speaker 1: a lot. She she does a lot with helping people
- 16:55Speaker 1: with businesses and editing and all kind of stuff. She
- 16:59Speaker 1: just a resource. She just a resource. She a resource center.
- 17:04Speaker 1: That's what I call her. She knows she can help
- 17:08Speaker 1: you and she can't help you. She can put you
- 17:11Speaker 1: in contact with somebody that can. That's what we do.
- 17:13Speaker 1: So she make it as what advice do you give
- 17:18Speaker 1: someone that wants to rebrand? But she wants to include
- 17:24Speaker 1: everything under her rebrand. So like she do a beauty line.
- 17:29Speaker 1: She has a beauty line, she's an author, and she
- 17:33Speaker 1: has a clothing line. And then I think she cooked too.
- 17:35Speaker 1: She may do some other stuff she do like fruit
- 17:38Speaker 1: and stuff, cook those sweet treats and stuff like the
- 17:43Speaker 1: pretzels and the chocolate covered cookies and stuff like that.
- 17:48Speaker 1: She does that. So how could you advise her or
- 17:54Speaker 1: give her some ideas on incorporate all that under her
- 18:00Speaker 1: It's called Black Beauty Collection. That's that's the name of
- 18:06Speaker 1: her That's what she wants it to be on it.
- 18:09Speaker 1: That's the name of her business.
- 18:12Speaker 7: Okay, Well, that's a good name that you have for
- 18:17Speaker 7: that because it gives you a list of things that
- 18:24Speaker 7: you're actually doing. So little beauty collections, black beauty collections,
- 18:32Speaker 7: so it's a wide variety. So make sure that there
- 18:36Speaker 7: is one thing that ties everything together, whether it is
- 18:42Speaker 7: like the colors that you choose for each and everything,
- 18:45Speaker 7: and a good logo that ties.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that can represent That's what I said too, something
- 18:54Speaker 1: that could represent everything, so when people see it, they
- 18:59Speaker 1: know that that's attached to her in some way, shape
- 19:04Speaker 1: or form. And again color, I think color, your color
- 19:10Speaker 1: scheme plays a part and people being able to identify
- 19:14Speaker 1: who you are.
- 19:15Speaker 7: You know that it's connected to me. And main word
- 19:21Speaker 7: is transformation, so anything that has to do with that,
- 19:26Speaker 7: you're gonna know that it's attached to me. My podcast
- 19:31Speaker 7: that I do under the Crew podcast is title Believe
- 19:34Speaker 7: in the Journey, so that represents my also my publishing
- 19:42Speaker 7: also just me as an individual. So everything that you
- 19:47Speaker 7: can see that is connected to me and what I
- 19:49Speaker 7: have going on is those it's a butterfly. So if
- 19:53Speaker 7: there's no butterfly, you know, it ain't got nothing to
- 19:56Speaker 7: do with it, you know, So just make sure that it.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Is something like that.
- 20:03Speaker 7: And even if you have like a tagline a catchphrase
- 20:06Speaker 7: that goes along with all of that. It can be
- 20:10Speaker 7: incorporated and all of that as well. So just make
- 20:14Speaker 7: sure that you have those things. Your color scheme, a
- 20:17Speaker 7: good tagline, and a good symbol that represents that. Because
- 20:22Speaker 7: if you see my business logo for my business, it
- 20:25Speaker 7: says Wings of Transformation Publishing, but my logo has my name,
- 20:29Speaker 7: Trevita Harris right in the middle of it. So once
- 20:34Speaker 7: that is trademark and everything which I'm in the process
- 20:37Speaker 7: of doing that now, anything that is attached to me
- 20:40Speaker 7: will always have that, So to think of that. And
- 20:46Speaker 7: everybody rebrands themselves at some point in time when you
- 20:51Speaker 7: feel like it's getting old. But you always want to
- 20:53Speaker 7: stick to the core of what it is that you're offering,
- 20:57Speaker 7: never falter and never waiver from that because of course
- 21:00Speaker 7: or of who you are is what built you, and
- 21:03Speaker 7: you stick to that no matter what, Okay, because you
- 21:09Speaker 7: don't want to get so caught up in following trends
- 21:13Speaker 7: that you get away from the core of what got
- 21:16Speaker 7: you where you are. Because a lot of times we
- 21:19Speaker 7: tend to want to follow everyone else and we fall
- 21:24Speaker 7: away from what it is that got us where we are.
- 21:27Speaker 7: But if you stick to the core of what you
- 21:29Speaker 7: know and what and who you are, everything will fall
- 21:32Speaker 7: into place like it's supposed to. So don't be so
- 21:36Speaker 7: stressed out over the right timing. It has to be perfect,
- 21:43Speaker 7: it has to be this, it has to be that.
- 21:45Speaker 7: It doesn't have to be right then and there, as
- 21:48Speaker 7: long as you're focused on what it is that you
- 21:50Speaker 7: want to do and how you want to present it,
- 21:52Speaker 7: because everything doesn't always have to be perfect. Most of
- 21:55Speaker 7: the time we figure it has to be exact. When
- 21:59Speaker 7: I started, anything that I started, it wasn't perfect. And
- 22:04Speaker 7: that's one of the things that I think people think
- 22:06Speaker 7: it has to be right on the money, and it
- 22:09Speaker 7: does not.
- 22:11Speaker 4: When you have.
- 22:12Speaker 7: Your prototypes you're starting out, and then that's what you
- 22:16Speaker 7: learn from your mistakes. You put yourself out there and
- 22:20Speaker 7: you can perfect upon that. And if you understand that
- 22:24Speaker 7: there's always room for growth, you'll always be in a
- 22:29Speaker 7: good space to know what it is that you're about
- 22:32Speaker 7: to do.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Because I don't remember what happened.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Hey, Latania, I don't know what happened. Then she'll come back.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I don't know if Latania want to come up.
- 23:03Speaker 7: Hiccup is a way to get you closer to what
- 23:07Speaker 7: it is that you're trying to do.
- 23:09Speaker 4: And I also remove people out of your space.
- 23:12Speaker 7: That don't have the vision that you have, because sometimes
- 23:16Speaker 7: you'll have people around you that are our their drainers,
- 23:23Speaker 7: I'll say it that way. They drain that insense of
- 23:26Speaker 7: who you are. And when you realize you're being more
- 23:29Speaker 7: drained than pour it into, it's time to let those
- 23:32Speaker 7: people go. Okay, and just let them go, get out
- 23:38Speaker 7: of your space, get out of the spaces where you're
- 23:41Speaker 7: not supposed to entertain them, because that's another thing.
- 23:45Speaker 4: When it comes to changing.
- 23:49Speaker 7: God will give you the ideas and he'll provide all
- 23:53Speaker 7: the provisions that you need when it's time for you
- 23:56Speaker 7: to actually move forward.
- 24:00Speaker 4: That's all about for now.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 24:04Speaker 4: You will go.
- 24:10Speaker 1: All right, y'all. That was Trevida. That was Trevida. I'm
- 24:14Speaker 1: gonna let you go back to your your granddaddy. Tell her.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I said hello, tell her, I said hello, y'all, her
- 24:23Speaker 1: coming here.
- 24:23Speaker 7: She's talking about t t It's time to go. We
- 24:27Speaker 7: gotta we gotta get to get the thing. I don't
- 24:30Speaker 7: know what we're going to get.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I have no idea what we're going to get. Good thing. Wow,
- 24:37Speaker 1: she do grown so fast.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Yes, she is grown. She she's going on twenty five.
- 24:45Speaker 4: I swear she is.
- 24:48Speaker 7: Oh well, y'all hear her in the background.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I hear she ready too, she is ready. Well, y'all,
- 24:57Speaker 1: enjoy the rest of Enjoy the rest of y'all new
- 25:00Speaker 1: and thank you for stopping by and sharing with us,
- 25:03Speaker 1: of course, of course, all right, all right, y'all. That
- 25:07Speaker 1: was Trevida. She's one of the hosts over here on
- 25:10Speaker 1: the podcast, so y'all have if y'all look down there
- 25:12Speaker 1: in some of them videos, she is one of them
- 25:15Speaker 1: people in the video. Her name is Tevida Harris. She's
- 25:18Speaker 1: the host of Believe in the Journey. I think she's
- 25:22Speaker 1: on every second Sunday and fourth Thursday, so we are
- 25:28Speaker 1: on at eight pm. So y'all come over there and
- 25:31Speaker 1: check her out. And if you go down and in
- 25:34Speaker 1: the profile and scroll through some of them videos, you
- 25:36Speaker 1: definitely will see her in some of those videos. So
- 25:42Speaker 1: going over there and check her out. So, hey, Lutania,
- 25:46Speaker 1: do you have any input on conversation we've been talking
- 25:49Speaker 1: about We're talking about I'm just having a Q and
- 25:52Speaker 1: A we are doing. I am participating in the twenty
- 25:56Speaker 1: one twenty one day challenge for Brandon and ability. So
- 26:01Speaker 1: we were talking about Shaye is looking to rebrand and
- 26:05Speaker 1: we were giving her some input on rebranding. She has
- 26:11Speaker 1: she she's really gifted. She has a clothing line, she
- 26:16Speaker 1: does a beauty she has beauty products, and she is
- 26:23Speaker 1: an author. She does poetry and she also does sweet treats.
- 26:28Speaker 1: She can do those fancy pretzels, dip pretzels and cookies
- 26:32Speaker 1: and the grapes and all of that stuff. So she's
- 26:37Speaker 1: trying to bring everything under one brand. One one label
- 26:42Speaker 1: in her brand name is Black Beauty Collection, So she
- 26:49Speaker 1: wants to tie all of that into it, but she
- 26:51Speaker 1: still wants it to be remain separate, Like she don't
- 26:54Speaker 1: want to everything to intertwine, but she want everybody to
- 26:58Speaker 1: be able to identify the different things that she do.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Trevida gave her some great ideas. I dropped what I
- 27:07Speaker 1: knew and were hoping that you have some some some
- 27:12Speaker 1: nuggets that you can drop and then hopefully she can
- 27:15Speaker 1: walk away with some some good information and hopefully be
- 27:20Speaker 1: inspired to, you know, go ahead and rebrand herself and
- 27:24Speaker 1: rebrand her her brand. So what's your what's your input
- 27:28Speaker 1: on today?
- 27:29Speaker 8: I would say start with a website. If you don't
- 27:34Speaker 8: have one, create your own website, put all your things
- 27:39Speaker 8: on there and how they can be U purchased and
- 27:45Speaker 8: and just go from there. Like it doesn't have to
- 27:49Speaker 8: be something that's, you know, over the top. It can
- 27:52Speaker 8: be something simple just because they have. If you follow Canvas,
- 27:59Speaker 8: you can create your own website for free and you
- 28:03Speaker 8: can put all your stuff on there. Yeah, like if
- 28:08Speaker 8: you sell your poetry or whatever, anything that you're selling,
- 28:12Speaker 8: you can put on your on your website and how
- 28:14Speaker 8: people can reach out to you and.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Connect with you, how you know, how you conduct how
- 28:19Speaker 4: you choose to conduct your business.
- 28:23Speaker 1: And then that there's another website that one that we
- 28:26Speaker 1: got the authors for for authors. But like I told people,
- 28:31Speaker 1: because it does not cost that much, you still can
- 28:35Speaker 1: utilize it to do so much more because I use
- 28:38Speaker 1: Minds not just for my books, and you can choose
- 28:43Speaker 1: your own your own name, so you can put it
- 28:47Speaker 1: as Black Beauty Collection and it not just be for books,
- 28:52Speaker 1: because mine's not just for books. You can do you
- 28:54Speaker 1: can put your events over there. You can put how
- 28:56Speaker 1: people can contact you. I got stuff about my podcast
- 28:59Speaker 1: over there, I got suffer about events and all of that.
- 29:03Speaker 1: So you can list your products and your services, and
- 29:07Speaker 1: you can do all kind of little stuff. You can
- 29:09Speaker 1: really make it your own and you can brand it
- 29:12Speaker 1: however you want to. And that's a cheap alternative to
- 29:15Speaker 1: having to to actually get a website, I guess, because
- 29:19Speaker 1: to have that author service or whatever they have, and
- 29:22Speaker 1: then it helps with your authors brand as well. But
- 29:25Speaker 1: like she was saying, if you use Cannaba people that
- 29:28Speaker 1: have the Cannaber accounts, that that website is a good
- 29:32Speaker 1: website because I've used it before as a landing page.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I've used it for landing page and I like it.
- 29:39Speaker 1: It's easy to be a and it's something that if
- 29:43Speaker 1: you want to if you want to purchase it without
- 29:46Speaker 1: having to actual purchase a plan, I think you can
- 29:48Speaker 1: do that as well, if I'm not mistaken. So there's
- 29:52Speaker 1: a lot of different it's a lot of different options
- 29:54Speaker 1: out here for us now and you not have to
- 29:57Speaker 1: really commit to something. And if you're not using substat
- 30:00Speaker 1: that's a good platform to that you could use to
- 30:03Speaker 1: brand yourself because you can set up different you can
- 30:08Speaker 1: set up different labels for your different things and then
- 30:12Speaker 1: people can click on it and go to each one
- 30:14Speaker 1: of them for your different. What's the name, and that
- 30:17Speaker 1: is a prease. It's called substat. It's called substat. It
- 30:24Speaker 1: is a free site. It's a it's actually a platform,
- 30:28Speaker 1: but you can use it. It's called what is called
- 30:34Speaker 1: it's all with the T T R E U, I
- 30:37Speaker 1: L A. I think, yeah, I think that's the name
- 30:41Speaker 1: of it. I posted it several times in in our
- 30:45Speaker 1: groups and different things. I'll share the link again later
- 30:50Speaker 1: today over there in the at night your fire group.
- 30:55Speaker 4: I think I thought.
- 30:58Speaker 1: It's a real estate thing. It's it's a real estate thing.
- 31:02Speaker 1: That's close to it. So you put in it it's
- 31:06Speaker 1: spelled different that that's spared different. But if you type
- 31:10Speaker 1: it in if you if you type one of them
- 31:12Speaker 1: in Rome, both of them still come up. They both
- 31:15Speaker 1: still come up. It'll come up like I've typed it
- 31:20Speaker 1: in Rome before. That's how I know it's a real
- 31:22Speaker 1: estate thing too. But you can do the real estate.
- 31:28Speaker 1: But yeah, it's a it's a company. That's where if
- 31:31Speaker 1: you go over and look at my website, the one
- 31:33Speaker 1: that I'm just i posted earlier today, it's through them.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I do minds to them. But what's the name is
- 31:42Speaker 1: a good platform to use too, if if you're trying
- 31:46Speaker 1: to brand because you can post your poetry over there.
- 31:48Speaker 1: You can also post videos. You can they make clips
- 31:54Speaker 1: from your loan videos into short clips. If you want
- 31:57Speaker 1: to just post like a new newsletter, you can do
- 32:00Speaker 1: newsletters and you can post posts and they will take
- 32:05Speaker 1: your posts and turn it into an audio audio video.
- 32:10Speaker 1: It's a lot of different things that you can do
- 32:12Speaker 1: over there on substats. So that's why I've been sharing
- 32:15Speaker 1: that platform with everybody because it's a good platform. And
- 32:18Speaker 1: then it will distribute your stuff out to these various
- 32:23Speaker 1: platforms also, so if you have YouTube, it sends it
- 32:26Speaker 1: to YouTube, it sends it to iHeart, it sends it
- 32:30Speaker 1: to Spotify, it sends it to all these different places.
- 32:33Speaker 1: That that's why I upload. Every time the podcast do
- 32:37Speaker 1: a podcast, I upload their podcast over on substack. So
- 32:42Speaker 1: it also produces clips from their podcast and then it
- 32:47Speaker 1: produces a what's the name from it and it shows
- 32:51Speaker 1: it in the audio form. So the audio form is
- 32:54Speaker 1: over there, and then it distributes it to all these
- 32:56Speaker 1: different what's the names as well. So yeah, and then
- 33:01Speaker 1: you can look at it and you can see how
- 33:03Speaker 1: it's performing, like it'll tell you how many people it's
- 33:06Speaker 1: viewing it. Even if they don't like it, it's show
- 33:08Speaker 1: you how many people have looked at it, so you
- 33:11Speaker 1: can see at least that it's being seen in different
- 33:15Speaker 1: things of that nature. So right now we have I
- 33:21Speaker 1: just started using it officially. I think it was in November.
- 33:26Speaker 1: I think it was November. I just officially started using it.
- 33:29Speaker 1: And I think we have like five thousand downloads for
- 33:34Speaker 1: our podcasts. Good, so at least people are listening. That's
- 33:40Speaker 1: all I can say. Even if they don't support us
- 33:43Speaker 1: like we feel they should or we want them to,
- 33:46Speaker 1: at least we know that they're listening. You know, Analytics
- 33:49Speaker 1: don't lie. Analytics don't lie. I can go on my page.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I can go on my Facebook page and nobody can.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Nobody be don't like anything, but you go to your
- 34:00Speaker 1: lytically tell you how many people, how many views you
- 34:02Speaker 1: don't have? You got over twenty four thousand views time.
- 34:06Speaker 1: But they may not like it, they may not want
- 34:08Speaker 1: to take the time to like it.
- 34:10Speaker 4: You.
- 34:10Speaker 1: We don't understand why people don't.
- 34:13Speaker 4: I feel like I feel like maybe it's just and
- 34:15Speaker 4: maybe it's just me.
- 34:17Speaker 9: I just feel like sometimes with certain people, it's just
- 34:20Speaker 9: the person that's delivering the message.
- 34:22Speaker 4: It's not always the message itself, it's just the person that's.
- 34:25Speaker 9: The messages why they don't like it, you know what
- 34:27Speaker 9: I'm saying, And that's why you go on.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And then they don't want it, they don't be wanting.
- 34:32Speaker 1: And then because they don't like it, they because they
- 34:35Speaker 1: intertwine with different people and something may some people may
- 34:39Speaker 1: not like them or whatever. People don't like to recognize
- 34:42Speaker 1: people because they feel like other people are watching them
- 34:45Speaker 1: and they don't want other people to see that they
- 34:47Speaker 1: like something and they may not like it and they
- 34:51Speaker 1: may not support that person or whatever the case may be.
- 34:54Speaker 1: So I mean, we get that a lot. We gonna
- 34:57Speaker 1: see that a lot. You know, I don't look at
- 34:59Speaker 1: numbers because I know what it is if you not
- 35:03Speaker 1: prepared for this, Like a lot of people think that,
- 35:06Speaker 1: you know, being an author and being on this podcast
- 35:09Speaker 1: and doing a lot of stuff that we do and
- 35:12Speaker 1: being speakers, they think that this is just a walk
- 35:14Speaker 1: in the park, and they think that we are being
- 35:16Speaker 1: arrogant and we just think we know it all and
- 35:19Speaker 1: things of that nature. That's the perception that a lot
- 35:22Speaker 1: of people they get from us because a lot of
- 35:24Speaker 1: time they see us on here, and a lot of
- 35:27Speaker 1: us we voice our opinions because for so long we
- 35:30Speaker 1: have been quiet. Your people don't know what we have
- 35:33Speaker 1: went through to get to the places where we are.
- 35:36Speaker 1: They don't know what we had to endure to be
- 35:39Speaker 1: able to sit on these podcasts, to be able to
- 35:41Speaker 1: sit on these panels, to be able to even write books,
- 35:44Speaker 1: and to be able to even provide platforms for people.
- 35:47Speaker 1: They don't know what you had to go through to
- 35:50Speaker 1: get to that place. Like people just don't understand. So
- 35:56Speaker 1: I don't look at numbers, and even with events, when
- 36:00Speaker 1: it comes to people showing up for events, I don't.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I don't look at that because I look at the
- 36:05Speaker 1: fact that sometimes it be for just for the people
- 36:10Speaker 1: that's there, you know, it's just for them, and sometimes
- 36:14Speaker 1: God moves in in his own way. It is never
- 36:18Speaker 1: on our time. You know, I've had events where there's
- 36:22Speaker 1: only been three four people, and then I've had events
- 36:25Speaker 1: where it's only been standing room only. But regardless, I
- 36:29Speaker 1: don't let it stop me. You know, I don't have
- 36:33Speaker 1: events where we handed out book bads and gave away
- 36:36Speaker 1: three hundred book backs and then started giving away stuff
- 36:39Speaker 1: in Walmart baths because that's all we had, you know,
- 36:45Speaker 1: so I don't I don't look at it. You know,
- 36:48Speaker 1: if I can reach one person, I feel like what
- 36:51Speaker 1: my purpose is I've done that. You know. I feel
- 36:54Speaker 1: like if I can reach one person a day, then
- 36:57Speaker 1: I've done something because I've impacted somebody life. You know,
- 37:01Speaker 1: somebody can walk away feeling a little different. They can
- 37:05Speaker 1: walk away feeling like they have hope. They can walk
- 37:07Speaker 1: away feeling like maybe they can be inspired to share
- 37:11Speaker 1: their story or to pass it on to somebody else.
- 37:16Speaker 1: So yeah, and I can. We can get off topic
- 37:22Speaker 1: sometimes and I think I just went all the way
- 37:24Speaker 1: to the left. Were talking about branding. But sometimes stuff
- 37:27Speaker 1: is just just needed, It just needed and it just
- 37:30Speaker 1: has to be said. So whenever, Yeah, when he moved,
- 37:33Speaker 1: he moved. And that's the thing about doing podcasts and
- 37:37Speaker 1: people oftentimes they want questions. They want you to give
- 37:40Speaker 1: them questions so that they can be prepared so that
- 37:44Speaker 1: they don't because a lot of people are nervous. And
- 37:47Speaker 1: when I started doing this, I wanted to make people
- 37:50Speaker 1: feel comfortable. I wanted people to feel like we were
- 37:53Speaker 1: sitting in your house and we were just having a conversation,
- 37:56Speaker 1: because that's how we should That's how we should feel.
- 37:59Speaker 1: We shouldn't feel like we got to live up to
- 38:02Speaker 1: somebody else's expectations because somebody else may deliver a message
- 38:05Speaker 1: so genuine. I mean, it may be so professional and
- 38:10Speaker 1: the words may be so unique, and so that ain't me.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I'm country, I'm from you. You gonna get some down
- 38:15Speaker 1: home country talking because I can't help that. I cannot
- 38:20Speaker 1: help it. I'm just that is my that just how
- 38:24Speaker 1: my words project. But I want you to feel comfortable.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I want you to feel at home. I want you
- 38:29Speaker 1: to feel like you can say what's on your heart
- 38:32Speaker 1: and what's on your mind and not be judged. You know.
- 38:35Speaker 1: That's why I provide these platforms.
- 38:38Speaker 8: I was gonna say along with that, you know, you
- 38:41Speaker 8: don't need big words and such to get.
- 38:44Speaker 4: Your point across. What's understood doesn't have to be explained.
- 38:49Speaker 8: And when you are genuine and what you're talking about,
- 38:52Speaker 8: people in for sure.
- 38:55Speaker 1: And that's one of the things, you know, that's one
- 38:58Speaker 1: of the things I often tell people, you know, just
- 39:00Speaker 1: be just be yourself, you know, be genuine, because you
- 39:04Speaker 1: know he didn't. We may have twins, and I have
- 39:07Speaker 1: twin nephews, but they are totally different people. They act
- 39:11Speaker 1: totally different. You put them in the same room, you
- 39:14Speaker 1: gonna see them doing some of the totally different, opposite stuff.
- 39:17Speaker 1: They don't dress alike, they definitely don't talk alike. They
- 39:20Speaker 1: don't eat the same food. I mean, everything about them
- 39:23Speaker 1: is different. You're gonna be like they twins. Yep, they twins.
- 39:26Speaker 1: And when they were little they looked just alike. But
- 39:29Speaker 1: as they grew up, one looked more like the mom
- 39:32Speaker 1: and one looked more like the dad. So but to me.
- 39:36Speaker 1: But to me, they both look like their mama and
- 39:39Speaker 1: they daddy. They both look Some days one of them
- 39:43Speaker 1: looked just like his daddy, and then some days he
- 39:46Speaker 1: can look like his mom, and then some days he
- 39:48Speaker 1: looked like his cousin, which I named him after, because
- 39:51Speaker 1: he act just like them. It's sad when you act
- 39:55Speaker 1: like your cousin, your daddy's first cousin. I'm talking like,
- 39:59Speaker 1: y'all could be twins. Y'all could be twins. I'm telling
- 40:02Speaker 1: if you put them in a room and you did not,
- 40:05Speaker 1: if I didn't tell you who was who, you would
- 40:07Speaker 1: think they was twins. You would think and if you didn't,
- 40:09Speaker 1: you would think he was his daddy instead of my
- 40:12Speaker 1: my brother being his daddy. Wow, you would And and
- 40:19Speaker 1: I called him. I called him. I ain't gonna say
- 40:21Speaker 1: the name because then people know who I'm talking about.
- 40:23Speaker 1: But I call him, I call him my cousin. I
- 40:26Speaker 1: call him his junior. He got a nickname and everybody
- 40:31Speaker 1: know him by his nickname. So I call him that junior.
- 40:34Speaker 1: I said, junior. He be like, why are you always
- 40:38Speaker 1: calling me that? He said, I don't act like that.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I say, yes you do. I said, yes you do.
- 40:42Speaker 1: I say, I say talk, and then he'll start talking
- 40:45Speaker 1: and he sounded just like him, and he'd be like, Auntie.
- 40:48Speaker 1: I say yeah. But y'all, we are on here talking
- 40:57Speaker 1: about it's a Q and A session and we are
- 41:00Speaker 1: Anybody that have questions about branding, visibility, collaborations, things of
- 41:06Speaker 1: that nature. You can ask those questions and we're going
- 41:08Speaker 1: to try to answer them to the best of our knowledge.
- 41:12Speaker 1: How we have experienced those things. We were helping Leche
- 41:17Speaker 1: who was trying to rebrand. We were helping her with
- 41:21Speaker 1: her rebranding. So if you have comments, suggestions, anything that
- 41:26Speaker 1: you would like to share, please share extra questions posted
- 41:32Speaker 1: in the comments, and we definitely will engage. Definitely, we'll engage.
- 41:39Speaker 4: I've got a question.
- 41:40Speaker 8: Okay, does anybody know how to turn a.
- 41:45Speaker 4: Book into like a.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Into a TV movie? Okay, well probably you you what
- 41:57Speaker 1: what's gonna happen is you probably gonna have to record.
- 41:59Speaker 1: You gonna have proper have to have something recorded.
- 42:03Speaker 9: What you could it's like do like a I think
- 42:07Speaker 9: they call video trailers, Uh yeah, and maybe send them
- 42:11Speaker 9: back you know what I'm saying, like to them and
- 42:15Speaker 9: maybe show them like.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Yeah, because if you just get something in recording, you
- 42:24Speaker 1: can send it out to these different you can send
- 42:27Speaker 1: it off to these different what's the names? And when
- 42:31Speaker 1: people hear about like they have these different what you
- 42:34Speaker 1: call them festivals, these different movie festivals. Uh yeah, fam festivals.
- 42:39Speaker 1: They had one in North Carolina, they had one in
- 42:42Speaker 1: I think it's in Charlotte or either Chapel Hill or somewhere.
- 42:45Speaker 1: They have one in North Carolina, they have one in
- 42:47Speaker 1: New York. They had one in California. They have them
- 42:49Speaker 1: all over. They have one in Alabama, they and even
- 42:51Speaker 1: here in Atlanta. It's just about getting connected with the
- 42:54Speaker 1: right person that can help you. What's the name She
- 42:58Speaker 1: been on our podcast Butter Butter butter Bee what her name?
- 43:04Speaker 1: She right here in Atlanta. Black Diamond had her on
- 43:09Speaker 1: her show. She even has a podcast, but she does
- 43:12Speaker 1: a lot of stuff here in Atlanta. They do them
- 43:14Speaker 1: the tubul Musics. And then I don't know, if you
- 43:17Speaker 1: watched a couple of couple of years ago, this girl
- 43:21Speaker 1: used to be on the platform. The guy was from
- 43:23Speaker 1: The guy was from South Carolina. He was from Cross
- 43:25Speaker 1: South Carolina. But he started off doing He started off
- 43:32Speaker 1: doing like music or whatever, and then he got into
- 43:36Speaker 1: doing those little short films, those little films that they
- 43:40Speaker 1: be having on these shows like Tuboo and Neckflix and
- 43:44Speaker 1: it's another one that you can watch and they and
- 43:47Speaker 1: all of them ain't loan, but they like these low
- 43:49Speaker 1: budget films. And you could tell they kind of low
- 43:51Speaker 1: budget because they don't they have a little and a
- 43:54Speaker 1: lot of them. They be in the little neighborhoods around
- 43:56Speaker 1: here in Atlanta. They'd be right out there in the
- 43:59Speaker 1: neighborhood and you can tell that they kind of low
- 44:02Speaker 1: budget or whatever. But they watchable and people watch them
- 44:06Speaker 1: and they be getting ratings and people be getting paid.
- 44:10Speaker 1: So maybe you can tap into that arena. We have
- 44:15Speaker 1: a couple of people on the platform that that's what
- 44:18Speaker 1: they do. Supposedly you can tap into them. You got
- 44:21Speaker 1: you have, Like, are you familiar with Andre Harris? She
- 44:26Speaker 1: just got married, so I forget what her marriage name is,
- 44:30Speaker 1: but she did. She did Hezekiah's the the movie Hezekiah
- 44:38Speaker 1: Got the Pastors, the Pastors, that movie he did about
- 44:43Speaker 1: the pastor or something other. Yeah, yes, he she did that.
- 44:49Speaker 1: That's what she do. She has a studio up there
- 44:52Speaker 1: in Virginia. Is it in Virginia. It may be in
- 44:56Speaker 1: d C, but it's in the d M V area.
- 44:59Speaker 1: She has a studio up there, and then they were recording.
- 45:04Speaker 1: They used to come to Atlanta and do stuff down
- 45:06Speaker 1: here in a landa Atlanta. So there's a lot of
- 45:09Speaker 1: people that's attached to the platform that you might can
- 45:13Speaker 1: tap into. I think she's in that Night the Fire group.
- 45:17Speaker 1: I think she's inside that group. All you have to
- 45:19Speaker 1: do is go under. If you in that group, you
- 45:21Speaker 1: can go under the members. Do y'all have access to
- 45:24Speaker 1: the members? Because most most of the people that's over
- 45:26Speaker 1: there that's attached to the group, if they are part
- 45:29Speaker 1: of the podcast or they're part of the one hundred
- 45:32Speaker 1: After movement, you should have access to as a moderator.
- 45:37Speaker 1: So you should be able to post. You should be
- 45:39Speaker 1: able to do all that stuff. If not, then you
- 45:41Speaker 1: need to let me know so you can go over
- 45:42Speaker 1: there and look. But you should be able to access.
- 45:45Speaker 1: You should be able to access the members. And if
- 45:48Speaker 1: you can access the members, it's gonna show you everybody
- 45:50Speaker 1: that's in there. And all you got to do is
- 45:54Speaker 1: you're not in the group. Well it's a group. It's
- 45:59Speaker 1: I mean, it's at the group. All you got to
- 46:01Speaker 1: do is go and add yourself to the group. But
- 46:04Speaker 1: she's in that group. I know she's in that group.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Or you can just google her, go on her, go
- 46:09Speaker 1: on Facebook and put her in the what's the name?
- 46:12Speaker 1: I think she may be on TikTok. I don't know
- 46:15Speaker 1: because I haven't been seeing her a lot, Like I
- 46:18Speaker 1: don't see her go live. She don't come up in
- 46:20Speaker 1: my feed, but I know she's on Facebook and her
- 46:24Speaker 1: name is Andrea Harris. I don't know if she go
- 46:29Speaker 1: she changed her name, but if you just type her
- 46:32Speaker 1: in the what's the name, she should come up and
- 46:35Speaker 1: she's I know she's under my friends list. Okay, and
- 46:40Speaker 1: then who else has did pam Pam done? Did she done,
- 46:46Speaker 1: did a short film, and then you got what that
- 46:54Speaker 1: girl name Shana, she did a domestic violence documentary film.
- 46:59Speaker 1: So it's a lot of people. All you got to do,
- 47:01Speaker 1: like I say, is recording. You got to have something
- 47:05Speaker 1: because people want to see what you what you're talking about.
- 47:07Speaker 1: They don't want you just to tell them nothing no more.
- 47:10Speaker 1: They want you to show them because everybody making videos
- 47:13Speaker 1: now and people taking their YouTube and turning them into
- 47:17Speaker 1: into the series and turning them into stuff. I got
- 47:21Speaker 1: a guy on the network that I'm on on the
- 47:23Speaker 1: wbn N. He took a series that he was doing
- 47:27Speaker 1: on YouTube and they turned it into something. And I
- 47:31Speaker 1: think they have they own one of them Netflix or
- 47:35Speaker 1: they on something. But they do other stuff outside of
- 47:39Speaker 1: being on YouTube. So you can you gotta have something.
- 47:42Speaker 1: People want you to present something to them now. So
- 47:45Speaker 1: if you got an idea, you got to go and
- 47:49Speaker 1: put the idea into works. Go and make you some
- 47:52Speaker 1: scenes about the idea. If you wanted to be a series,
- 47:56Speaker 1: come up with you some little clips and put together
- 48:00Speaker 1: other clip like she say, make some trailers and put
- 48:03Speaker 1: it together so people can see what what you're talking about.
- 48:07Speaker 4: Okay, yep, Because I definitely.
- 48:13Speaker 5: Then you can always also do stuff like when you
- 48:16Speaker 5: if you put the trailers like on your social media's,
- 48:20Speaker 5: you can also.
- 48:20Speaker 4: Like tag them and try like to try to get
- 48:24Speaker 4: their attention.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Yeah, because a lot of these people are all on
- 48:27Speaker 1: social media. If you go to Facebook, you tag Netflix,
- 48:30Speaker 1: would gonna pop up. Netflix is gonna pop.
- 48:33Speaker 5: Up and you start tagging them in it over there,
- 48:38Speaker 5: somebody over there, go see. It's gonna catch somebody attention,
- 48:41Speaker 5: especially if it's good the story.
- 48:43Speaker 1: If you can catch you you know what I'm saying,
- 48:46Speaker 1: Even if you don't catch the attention of the people
- 48:47Speaker 1: that you want, to catch your attention or you're gonna
- 48:50Speaker 1: catch the attention of somebody. Because that's a girl like
- 48:52Speaker 1: that in California. She been tagging Nike. She been tagging Nike,
- 48:56Speaker 1: the the the pick up her brand, to pick up
- 48:59Speaker 1: her brain, to pick up her stuff. But somebody else
- 49:02Speaker 1: picked her up, not Nike, somebody else picked her up.
- 49:05Speaker 1: That that that's what happens. That somebody else may like
- 49:08Speaker 1: what you're doing, and they may say, oh, let me
- 49:10Speaker 1: go over here and work. And it may be somebody
- 49:12Speaker 1: that's working in the industry and they may say, oh,
- 49:14Speaker 1: let me help her, let me help her get her
- 49:16Speaker 1: foot in the door. You never know, so you you
- 49:20Speaker 1: just have to see and just do some research. Like Google,
- 49:28Speaker 1: go to the go to gp chat, go to these ais.
- 49:31Speaker 1: That's that's what they use it. Go to these ais
- 49:35Speaker 1: and ask the ai x ai what you need to do.
- 49:38Speaker 1: It'll tell you what steps you can take and what
- 49:40Speaker 1: you can do, and then you just start doing those
- 49:43Speaker 1: things because that's a lot out there. There's so many
- 49:49Speaker 1: opportunities out there. I mean, so much out there you
- 49:51Speaker 1: can do now. I mean as far as get on
- 49:54Speaker 1: tu boo and get on a lot of these places
- 49:57Speaker 1: now you can pretty much. If you got access to
- 50:01Speaker 1: upload to these sites, you can you can do that.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Like you got people out here that it's a nice
- 50:09Speaker 1: little fee, but they pay that fee every month and
- 50:13Speaker 1: they're able to upload to tuboo. They're able to upload
- 50:17Speaker 1: to these different plays and all they doing is uploading
- 50:19Speaker 1: regular content that we over here recording you here, and
- 50:24Speaker 1: and they can see them on they what they them
- 50:27Speaker 1: them eye sticks and them whatever all that stuff. Yeah,
- 50:33Speaker 1: So it's it's all about who, you know, what type
- 50:36Speaker 1: of money you kind of spend, and what type of
- 50:38Speaker 1: work you're trying to put in because we're gonna have
- 50:41Speaker 1: to do some of that in order to get where
- 50:43Speaker 1: we want to go, right Because now, back when it
- 50:47Speaker 1: first started, it may have been easier, but now that
- 50:51Speaker 1: everybody want to do it and everybody's doing it, that
- 50:53Speaker 1: people making it harder. So now you've got to do
- 50:56Speaker 1: some research and find out, hey, what can I do
- 50:59Speaker 1: to position myself to be in front of these people?
- 51:03Speaker 1: And then look at these events and stuff that they
- 51:06Speaker 1: be having in these local cities like TikTok getting ready
- 51:09Speaker 1: to have an event out there in California. You can
- 51:12Speaker 1: get tickets and go to the event, and they do
- 51:15Speaker 1: them in but they do them in different places. You
- 51:17Speaker 1: just have to be aware of what they're doing and
- 51:19Speaker 1: what you can get involved in. Facebook do it too.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Have y'all heard of the gathering place?
- 51:30Speaker 4: Yes, I have, but I don't know what it is.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Well, it's here in East Point, It's it's here in
- 51:35Speaker 1: East Point. It's well, it's one over here off of
- 51:38Speaker 1: Union City, back up off in Union City. But they
- 51:41Speaker 1: do a lot. They have these meeting greets, They have
- 51:47Speaker 1: all these little things where you can come together. They
- 51:50Speaker 1: be having these like teed X speeches and competition like
- 51:55Speaker 1: things but it's not really tad X, but they have
- 51:58Speaker 1: their own version of it, and you can they do
- 52:02Speaker 1: a lot. They do a lot. They do a lot.
- 52:07Speaker 1: It ain't so much Black Wall Street, but they do
- 52:10Speaker 1: a lot to help those that have a brand and
- 52:14Speaker 1: those that are trying to go into business for themselves.
- 52:19Speaker 1: And then there's a lot of people out here now
- 52:21Speaker 1: that's doing stuff for creatives, people that are out here
- 52:25Speaker 1: creating content, people that are out here doing the videos,
- 52:31Speaker 1: and then the ones that's actually providing some good written content.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Because you got a lot of people that write good content,
- 52:39Speaker 1: but they're not writers like the book writers. They just
- 52:43Speaker 1: writers that want to write like newsletters and just want
- 52:46Speaker 1: to write on social media. So it's a lot of
- 52:51Speaker 1: different ways out here to to you know, get yourself
- 52:56Speaker 1: out there and to get seen. Hashtagging and being visible
- 53:02Speaker 1: that's one of the most most easiest ways to get seen.
- 53:08Speaker 1: But we don't do it all right, Like we have
- 53:14Speaker 1: so many opportunities to do like we can. You can
- 53:18Speaker 1: be recording videos, you can be recording different stuff talking
- 53:21Speaker 1: about that that you're trying to show off that you're
- 53:26Speaker 1: trying if you have a movie idea, you should be
- 53:30Speaker 1: doing clips about the movie idea. You should be intriguing people,
- 53:35Speaker 1: getting people interested in that that you're trying to do.
- 53:38Speaker 1: You Shaye, you need to go live one day making
- 53:42Speaker 1: your sweet trees, talking about showing them what you're doing
- 53:46Speaker 1: behind the scene, and then show them the end results.
- 53:50Speaker 1: You ain't got to go through the whole process. You
- 53:53Speaker 1: can show them you're getting together how you like when
- 53:56Speaker 1: you go out shopping. You can go out and tell
- 53:59Speaker 1: them how you get things together, you're prepping up, you're
- 54:01Speaker 1: getting and then you can do your prepping how you
- 54:04Speaker 1: getting stuff together. And then even if you just want
- 54:06Speaker 1: to show your process of getting your chocolate together, to
- 54:09Speaker 1: even start that, you can do all types of different
- 54:13Speaker 1: things that lead up to what you're trying to do. Yeah, that,
- 54:20Speaker 1: and then get your logos, get your stuff together so
- 54:23Speaker 1: when you're doing these videos, you can show that off
- 54:26Speaker 1: in your videos. Then people get a visual of who
- 54:32Speaker 1: you are, what you're doing. Yeah, and you show that
- 54:37Speaker 1: off everywhere you go. Then you you you start people
- 54:40Speaker 1: start recognizing and then they start putting, you know, two
- 54:44Speaker 1: and two together, and then not only that, different things
- 54:48Speaker 1: that you are attached to. When when when you when
- 54:50Speaker 1: they start typing it in the search boar, it's gonna
- 54:52Speaker 1: start coming up. You gon man, you go over there
- 54:55Speaker 1: looking for something, it's gonna start popping up. It's gonna
- 54:59Speaker 1: start pop up. But yeah, we just gotta just make
- 55:05Speaker 1: sure that we are taking every opportunity to showcase our
- 55:11Speaker 1: brand and everything that we do. I mean every single
- 55:14Speaker 1: thing that we do. I'm talking about the little thing
- 55:17Speaker 1: coming on these Lives. Yeah, we got we got to
- 55:22Speaker 1: show off our brand and coming on these Lives. Something
- 55:25Speaker 1: that people gonna know, Hey, that's Angela over there. That
- 55:28Speaker 1: she go again over there on that live. They men
- 55:31Speaker 1: go over there and see what she doing, what she
- 55:32Speaker 1: talking about. But they gonna see something. They're gonna they
- 55:36Speaker 1: gonna see something and be like, Oh, that's Angela. Even
- 55:40Speaker 1: though I may come on the Crew podcast, I may
- 55:43Speaker 1: come on the Visionary, I may come on the Real
- 55:45Speaker 1: and the Raw, I may come on the whatever, but
- 55:48Speaker 1: they gonna see something. They're gonna be like, Oh that's Angela.
- 55:51Speaker 1: That's that's miss Angela over there, that's that's the queen
- 55:55Speaker 1: over there, whatever they whatever they call me, they're gonna say,
- 55:58Speaker 1: that's her, that's that. And that's what we want people
- 56:05Speaker 1: to be able to recognize us. And then we want
- 56:08Speaker 1: to get a pattern so that people can say, oh,
- 56:11Speaker 1: it's oh that's it's eight o'clark. She over there doing
- 56:15Speaker 1: her morning devotion. And then they gonna share it with somebody,
- 56:19Speaker 1: and they're gonna invite somebody. And then where you go
- 56:22Speaker 1: from having three people on, you'll start seeing twenty five people,
- 56:26Speaker 1: you're gonna see fifty people, and then you're gonna start
- 56:28Speaker 1: seeing a hundred people, and then you gonna start seeing
- 56:30Speaker 1: two hundred people. They're gonna be like, oh dang, they
- 56:32Speaker 1: seeing me. And then you're gonna continue to do it,
- 56:36Speaker 1: and then you're gonna do it even more, and then
- 56:38Speaker 1: you're gonna start wanting to come on a little more.
- 56:40Speaker 1: And then you're gonna but you gotta do it. You
- 56:42Speaker 1: gotta start somewhere so that you can get out there.
- 56:47Speaker 1: And then the more you show up for you, guess what,
- 56:51Speaker 1: they gonna start showing up for you too, and then
- 56:53Speaker 1: you're gonna get out there more. Because when it works
- 56:56Speaker 1: both ways over here on TikTok. Now y'all know as
- 56:59Speaker 1: in September they gonna change it up again because I
- 57:02Speaker 1: think they don't found somebody to buy TikTok over here
- 57:05Speaker 1: in America, So they about to change it up. So
- 57:07Speaker 1: we don't know what it's gonna be like, but I
- 57:09Speaker 1: think they changing the whole platform. We're gonna have to
- 57:11Speaker 1: log in on another platform and all that stuff. We're
- 57:15Speaker 1: gonna have to log in on another platform. But they said,
- 57:17Speaker 1: everything that we've done, everything that we supposedly have had,
- 57:21Speaker 1: is gonna be able to transfer to that other platform
- 57:24Speaker 1: over there too, And we're not. We're gonna be able
- 57:26Speaker 1: to log in and everything's supposed to be still the same.
- 57:30Speaker 1: But we gonna see, we gonna see, y'all, we gonna see,
- 57:33Speaker 1: We're gonna see, We're gonna see, We're gonna see. But nevertheless,
- 57:38Speaker 1: we wanna make sure that we just be an intentional
- 57:41Speaker 1: and that we utilizing every opportunity we get, like when
- 57:45Speaker 1: we build a routine of going live. So you know,
- 57:49Speaker 1: I know for me, and I'm gonna I'm gonna share
- 57:51Speaker 1: just a little bit about my little routine. So everybody
- 57:54Speaker 1: over here, now, I know on TikTok No that at
- 57:56Speaker 1: five o'clock every morning and usually about four forty five,
- 58:00Speaker 1: they know I'm gonna live over here and I'm gonna
- 58:03Speaker 1: be over here. They probably ain't gonna see nobody on
- 58:05Speaker 1: the screen. They just gonna see a black screen, or
- 58:08Speaker 1: they gonna see these lights that's flashing up behind me.
- 58:10Speaker 1: Now they're gonna see them. And we're gonna be doing
- 58:12Speaker 1: five a m prayer. It's not just gonna be me,
- 58:14Speaker 1: but it's gonna be everybody that come on at five
- 58:16Speaker 1: AM to pray, and we're just gonna be praying. You
- 58:19Speaker 1: ain't gonna see nobody, but we're gonna be on here praying.
- 58:22Speaker 4: And then for the last couple of mornings.
- 58:26Speaker 1: And I don't even be paying attention. I don't even
- 58:28Speaker 1: be paying attention. Hu, I'll be into it. I don't
- 58:30Speaker 1: be paying I'll be paying attention.
- 58:34Speaker 4: It's so powerful. If you happen to wake up in
- 58:37Speaker 4: that hour and can't go back to sleep.
- 58:39Speaker 8: I advise you like like I beg you to jump
- 58:42Speaker 8: home and and here's gonna pray because it and it's
- 58:48Speaker 8: to a point now where it's like I wake up
- 58:50Speaker 8: looking forward to it.
- 58:52Speaker 4: Okay, absolutely, I've jumped on there and I've been on there.
- 58:56Speaker 4: It's five and they hadn't gotten there, and I'm like,
- 58:59Speaker 4: wait a minute, what is going on?
- 59:02Speaker 8: And so they it's really God feels that.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Atmosphere and we've been over there. This this is our
- 59:13Speaker 1: fifth year. Were getting ready in February. It's gonna be
- 59:16Speaker 1: six years for us. Wow. And it's been me Pam
- 59:21Speaker 1: and Shaniya. We met Apostle through Shania came on six
- 59:28Speaker 1: months into it. No, she came in sixty days into
- 59:32Speaker 1: the one hundred and twenty days. Because there's another lady,
- 59:36Speaker 1: a lady out of Spartanburg. Actually she started with us,
- 59:39Speaker 1: and she who introduced us to doctor Kimberly and some
- 59:44Speaker 1: of the other ladies. And she decided she didn't want
- 59:46Speaker 1: to do it no more, so she left. But Apostle
- 59:50Speaker 1: Kimberly she ended up staying and she has been right
- 59:53Speaker 1: there with us ever since. She covered our room every
- 59:56Speaker 1: every morning. Her husband even come on Apostle Lee Thomas,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: he even come on and share with us sometimes. I
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: tell you God has truly moved over there. We've seen
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: people hell delivered and set free. I'm talking about people
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: delivered from cancer to Pam and Cheryl both had cancer
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: and both of them are now two and three years
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: free of cancer. Mala growths. Dealing with all that she's
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: dealing with has been a part of our prayer line.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: We have a prayer list that's one hundred and twenty
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: six names by one hundred and twenty six, twenty seven
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: names Loan that I call out every single day. Your
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: baby on there, you own now, your kids on there.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: We call them names out every single day. We call
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: a whole list out every day. So yes, that's what
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: we do. I pray for the podcast. I pray for
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: everybody attached to the movement because it's not about us.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: It's not just about us, but it is about what
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: he has called us too, and that is to stand
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: in the gap, and that is to pray for those
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: that cannot or will not pray for themselves. We pray
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: for We pray for our president in the current administration.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: We pray for the war, We pray for all this
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: stuff that's happening out here and with the weather. We
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: we lift up everything before him and and and we
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: do that every single morning. Channet chare Roh, Sister Stephanie's
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: sister Renee. Even pastor Pastor Patricia Goings out of South Carolina,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: she come on there. Sometimes we have Patricia logging. Sometimes
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Sister Sharon, Minister Sharon out of Memphis, Tennessee. She come
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: on there. Sometimes we we have individuals that come on
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: there from all over. Minister m sister sister to Travida
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: out of Chicago, to Chrivida, I kind of mess her
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: name up Chat to chat Chat Rita, I mess her
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: name of I love her to death. That's that's my
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: little sister, Trivia chet Triva. Yeah, Trivia, her and her husband.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: He's a pastor, he's been on the line. We from
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: time to time we'll have where we invite other pastors
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: and other ministers to come in and share, Like during June,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: the month of one of those months we dedicated it
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: to our men and we let the men come in
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: and share. We did one one month where it was
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: dedicated to mental health and all we prayed about was
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: mental health and we lifted up individuals that were dealing
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: with mental health issues. Just different times, we do different stuff.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: We even fast and we go on the Fast from
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: time to time. And then Apostle she does a Wednesday
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: on prey call at eight o'clock or at nine o'clock
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: in the evening. I can't get on because of my
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: service I got. I have metro PCs, So metro PCs
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: they hinder your service sometimes so I can't get on
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: because of that, So I can't go to that evening
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: service that they have. But it's a good service. I
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I've heard so much. I've heard so much about it
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: and how God is moving in that service. So I
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: invite anybody. I got a flyer. I've been sharing that
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: fly because I've been inviting people to, you know, tune in.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Even though I can't be there, you can still be
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: there because I heard it was powerful. It was just
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: as powerful as the morning service. And it's just on Wednesday.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: So if y'all can jump on next Wednesday, I'm gonna
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: be sharing that flyer. Y'all can jump on. And if
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: you know it's I think it's at eight or maybe
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: at nine. I'll find out for sure. I got to
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: look on the flyer and find out. I think it's
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: at nine. But I have that flyer and I'm gonna
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: post it. I probably posted today so people get shared
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: out so they can make arrangements to be there next Wednesday.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: But yeah, how's your daughter doing? Because I know your
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: you said your other baby was in the hospital.
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: She she had strip throat and she had to get
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: uh her tonsules like move.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Does she uh?
- 1:04:34Speaker 9: They got They had put on antibiotics and steroids and stuff, but.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: She ain't doing a little bit better now. She not like, Uh,
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: I had to go and see her, but I had
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: to wait until she wasn't contagious no more, cause strep
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: throat can be contagious. So I had to wait to
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: go see her, uh until she wasn't contagious no more,
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: because I didn't want to go see her come back
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: to this.
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: Other hospital make the baby or seek.
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: So I wounded up waiting she's okay now, And I
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: went up there saying or whatever to you know, just
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: check on see how she's doing.
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: But I'm gonna, uh.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: Go get on a little while I'm waiting on them
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: to coll and mischarge. They said they're gonna send her
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: home all right, but yeah, she's uh, she doing better.
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: She couldn't even talk the other day, like at all right.
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: Yeah she was, uh my daughter, the one that you met,
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: my oldest.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, she she could she could barely even talk.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: She was real sick the other day, like they had.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: They had.
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: To git her into the hospital, so they kept her
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: for a couple of days. When she first got there,
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: They're like, we gotta keep up because I wanna just
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: observe and see on our counsels out or whatever. And
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: I'm like, it's that bad, and they said, yeah it is.
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: Uh So they kept us and stuff just to like oserve,
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: just you know, keep it up.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: Out.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Well, well it's it's it's not a bad thing to
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: having them tonses out, because I know a lot of
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: people had they tonses out when they was young. I'm
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: talking about when we was in elementary school. I'm talking
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: about now. They used to bring them to school for
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: showmen tear. They used to have them in a little Yeah,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: they used to. They used to give them to them
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: and they used to put them in they had them
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: in a little jib.
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: They used to them kids them little yeah. You know
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: they want us them looked them the them, the white
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: teachers to bring it. Yeah, they used to. All them
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: kids used to get their tonses out. I mean, that
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: was the thing that they did. I don't know if
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: it was just but them. They every one of my
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: white tea friends had their tons us out when they
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: was little. I didn't know nothing about that. I still
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: had I still got my tonsores. I still be having
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: so throat. But all of them when they was young, Honey,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: every last one of them. I could tell you, every
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: last one of my white tea friends had they tonsines out.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: And they used to when they used to be out,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: they used to they they I don't know them kids
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: used to like going to get they tonses out because honey,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: they used to get eat ice cream or some stuff.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: And honey, they they come back to school, they would
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: have them tonsors and a little job and a little
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: and a little mason job and they been gonna yeah,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: and they ain't stay out of school long, no, they And.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: That's one thing I noticed that they didn't keep hut.
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: They weren't gonna keep put. They said, they're not gonna
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: keep pluyting the hospital real long. But they didn't restrict
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: her from really like doing.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Anything right, because they gave them ice cream and and
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: and and liquid I think that was. And then they
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: most of them went as out patients. They went in,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: had that done and went back home the same day.
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: Yeah, they kept her because when she first went into the.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Right so they kept because he.
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: Had a fever, and then they they just wanted to
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: check on.
- 1:08:07Speaker 5: And then when they checked out Tom, they said that
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: they were so slowly that she wouldn't have been able
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: to breathe.
- 1:08:12Speaker 10: So they're like, yeah, because they can stop, they can
- 1:08:18Speaker 10: close your anyway, and that's why a lot of people,
- 1:08:24Speaker 10: a lot of people have them removed.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: But yeah, thank y'all for coming in. If y'all don't mind,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: if y'all would tap that screen, tap that screen, tap
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: that screen in, if you would, send up your daily
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: hearts for today, send up your daily hearts for today
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: if you would, And if you don't mind, you can
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: share it out to someone. Share it out to someone.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Never know what they may be in need of, y'all.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: We are talking about. We're on here just having a
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: live Q and A talking about branding, visibility, collaborations, and
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: things of that nature. So we were helping Shape with
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: her journey, talking about rebranding, talked about I shared a
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: little bit about visibility, did not share about collaborations. So
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: if y'all got questions about collaborations, we can talk a
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: little bit about collaborations before we leave up out of here.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: I don't want to stay on here too long, taking
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: up too much of y'all time. Just want to probably
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: stay about another twenty minutes and then I'm gonna get
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: on off of here and let y'all enjoy the rest
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: of your day. Guess what. I won't be back, but
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: somebody will be back on at nine o'clock. At eight
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: o'clock tonight, I think it's shining. I think shining to
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: be on at eight o'clock tonight, y'all. Oh quick plug.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: I want to throw in a quick plug, y'all. A

- 1:10:37Speaker 1: that I have is that you respect the mic. That's
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: all I ask is you respect the mic. How you
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: respect the mic? You show up when you're supposed to
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: show up, You show up on time, and you support
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: your fellow hosts. You support your fellow host That's all
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I ask. That's all I ask. Don't ask you to
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: go be up above and beyond. If you want to
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: promote your shows and share your shows, that's on you
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: because you are your show and your show is you,

- 1:11:21Speaker 1: a slot that's available on fourth Monday and second Thursday.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: That's fourth Monday and second Thursday. Those are the only
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: two slots we have, y'all, only two slots we have
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: with the Queens of Queens them dvers of the Airways.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: You can join them. Divers of the airways. So yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: hey sis, how you doing. Thank you for stopping by,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Thank you for stopping by, Thank you for stopping by.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: If y'all have any questions, make sure you ask your questions.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Post your questions in the comment. If you want to
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: come up, just let me know and I'll let you
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: come on up. Come on up, come on up, come
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: on up. Definitely, we'll let you come on up. Y'all,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: And thank you, Thank you, Prudence Shopper shopping for joining
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: the fan club. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Y'all
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: join the fan club. That way you can be you'll
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: be notified when we go live. That way, you won't
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: miss nothing. You won't miss nothing. You won't miss nothing.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: But y'all again, when we are let me let me see,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: let me see if I went over my notes, because
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I don't think I went over my notes today. Let
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: me see I got my notes. Let me see I
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: got my notes. Nope, I ain't got my notes. Let
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: me go over here real quick.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: What I got?
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Okay, y'all, I let me see. I had to go
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: to the actual war, the actual time. Everyone, I haven't
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: goody question? That was a question. Try in today's Okay,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: So we have been talking about We've been talking about visibility,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: we've been talking about collaborating, we've been talking about brands.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: We've been talking about a lot. But most importantly, what
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: we have been trying to stress is building trust and
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: authentic authentic nextally, And I might have chopped that word
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: up because I can't say that word for some reason.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I don't know why. I can't say anywhere authenticity. That's it, authenticity.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I don't know why I chopped that one up. I
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: can say authentic, but when they come to that one, authenticity, tententicity,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: that part, that end part get me sometimes. But y'all,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: building trust in that word authenticity, I'm gonna get it right, y'all.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it right. I'm gonna get it right
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: next time I come on here. I'm gonna know how
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: to say it. I ain't gonna miss it up, ain't
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: gonna chop it up, ain't gonna butcher it. But y'all
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: scam lightly don't know me by answering, by answering questions
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: during this podcast, y'all, y y'all got questions, y'all, cause
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: this is real time. This ain't no stripted stuff. This
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: is what. This is us being open, This is us
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: being authentic. This is not a strip. We didn't plan
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: and this we just what's taking place on today has
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: been transparent and it represents us. It represents who we are.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: We've had Tarita stop by, we had Latanya stop by.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Now we have sister Lauche here with us. But y'all, importantly,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: when y'all are engaging about your brand, it is more
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: important to build trust and authenticity and to engage with
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: your supporters. Engage with those that support the things that
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: you're doing. If they take the time to come on
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: your live and engage with you. If you making cookies, shoot,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: engage with them. Should get them to order some on
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: so they can sample them. Offer them samples if they
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: come and spend time. If it's somebody that come on
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: your live and spend time with you, when you do
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: these things, y'all offer them samples. Offer them something. Ain't
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: gotta be no whole loan, drawled out nothing. If it's
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: something that you can offer them for free, Offer them
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: something for free for the support, and then y'all keep
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: track of your journeys when you're doing these things. That's
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: why it's I say, go live, but everybody might not
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: want to go live. But again, if you go live,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: you keeping track of your journey, you allowing people to
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: connect with you. And then you're providing a platform and
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: visibility because now and then you develop a schedule, then
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: people say, ooh, let me see shay on. Now, let
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: me go check shay out, see what shay over they're
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: talking about, even if they only come on and stay
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: ten minutes. And then when you own platforms that when
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: they come and they share and they like like when
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: people come over here, they share their light and they comment.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: You get rewarded. It may not be a whole lot.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: It may be a penny, It may be two cent,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: it may be three cent, it may be eleven cent.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: But y'all, every time you go live and add up,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: the longer you stay alive, the longer you do it,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: the many times you do it, you get rewarded for it.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: And in the long run, your sacrifice is not in
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: vain because you're gonna get something on Wednesday. It may
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: not meet that but twelve dollars, but it's twelve dollars
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: more than you had, and it's for something that you're
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: doing that you need to be doing to help you.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: But see a lot of us we come on here
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: and we do foolish stuff. Ain't even trying to make
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: no money, but we come on here. We're doing it anyway.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: So why not do it towards your brand?
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: Now?
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Why not do it towards something that can garner you
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: some legacy and can garner you some revenue that that
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: that residual revenue that everybody talking about, something that you
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: can make while you sleep. Like I hadn't been over
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: there in a while, but every time I go over
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: to my website, huh, it took us my fancy because
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: somebody be no about a book. But now these people
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: be like my family, like they really like you really
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: an author? Hundred and something books? And you say, am
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: I really an author? Yad? Because you not supporting me,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: don't mean that nobody else has supported me? Boo boo.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Every time I look at that KDP, every time I
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: look at that email from KDP, I don't care if
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: it's five dollars, ten dollars, two dollars, fifty dollars, forty dollars,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: whatever it is. Every time I get it, I'm like, okay,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: couple of dollars I said, Okay, it's more than I had,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: and it's free money money, it's making money on its
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: own because guess what, I had to do the work
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: one time. I had to do the work one time
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: one time. Ain't ain't like I gotta keep writing. I
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: ain't got to keep writing. That book over That book
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: is done. It's up there for whoever needed, so they
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: can go by it and they can whoever can do
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: whatever they want to do, every last one of them.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: So you know what, one day I'm gonna promote them.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: One day I'm gonna be out here promoting them like crazy,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: getting people to buy them. But right now, that ain't
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm supposed to be
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: doing that for others. So that's what I'm doing. But
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: one day I'm gonna do it for me when I
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: get when I when I get to a place that
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: I can't get out here and do what I'm doing,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: then I'm gonna focus on I focus on that for myself.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: But right now I'm doing for others. I got to
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: give others an outlet. So and then y'all one other
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: thing I want y'all to do when when y'all are
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: sharing across these platforms, and people are coming and leaving
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: you insight and leaving you things. Y'all respond back to them,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: give them feedback, give them, give them good feedback. Don't
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: give them no crazy stuff. And of course we know
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: we're gonna have some trolls. Those you don't have to
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you don't you, You don't have to address them, but
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: give them valuable give them valuable input things that you
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: can can utilize. My challenge for y'all this listening, because
