- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities CE OS and even royalty Adam Cox, these
- 0:21recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's world
- 0:24famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi, it's. Adam here and you're about to
- 0:41listen to a hypnosis session all about releasing insecurities.
- 0:47And I think a lot of people are insecure about certain things in
- 0:51their life. And this is about releasing
- 0:53those insecurities, taking ownership of those things that
- 0:57are you that you can't change, and any of those historical
- 1:00insecurities that might come from childhood or long ago, you
- 1:05get to release those insecurities.
- 1:07But also to. Feel more playful and joyful and
- 1:10I think a lot of. Adults, kind of.
- 1:12Forget how to be playful and they might find themselves in
- 1:16too much of A stressful situation and everything has to
- 1:22be serious. And the client that I was
- 1:24working with certainly felt that way.
- 1:25They reached the age of about 30.
- 1:28And realized for. Them, their realization is that
- 1:32they can't. Be gliding through.
- 1:33Life they have to be more serious and yet they knew
- 1:36someone that could be playful and productive and take
- 1:41responsibility seriously but in a playful way and that's really
- 1:45the essence of this hypnosis session is to let go of those
- 1:49insecurities but to feel that it is possible to be serious about
- 1:54the. Responsibilities, but.
- 1:56Playful or light about how you actually implement those
- 2:01responsibilities. So if you feel like you're
- 2:03taking life a bit too seriously, this could be a good session.
- 2:06Or if you've got some real insecurities, maybe there's
- 2:09things niggling in the back of your mind that just feel, you
- 2:13know, insecure and you want to go of those.
- 2:16This could be a very helpful session.
- 2:18Please bear in mind though, that it was created for and in an
- 2:22individual, so some of the suggestions would have been
- 2:24perfect for them and and not quite right for you.
- 2:27So just disregard any suggestions that don't seem
- 2:30relevant for you, really hone in on the ones that do.
- 2:34And if you like the idea of either a bespoke session or
- 2:37working with me directly, there will be a link in the show notes
- 2:41and the description where you can book a free consultation
- 2:44call over Zoom. We'll have a.
- 2:45Chat and you can see if I'm the right hypnotherapist to work
- 2:48with you. For now, though, find a quiet,
- 2:51comfortable place where you're not going to be.
- 2:53Disturbed. Relax.
- 2:54And enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 3:29you breathe in, breathe in that resourceful feeling of calm and
- 3:35relaxation. And as you exhale, feel a
- 3:43wonderful sense of release, as if feelings of tension, stress,
- 3:50or worries are starting to leave your body in your outward
- 3:57breath. Breathing in that resourceful
- 4:02relaxation as your eyelids get heavier and more relaxed as you
- 4:10notice with your eyes closed how much easier it becomes to focus
- 4:18on the sound of my voice. And when you breathe in, imagine
- 4:28breathing in a color that represents worthiness.
- 4:37Whatever color comes to mind, make it brighter.
- 4:42And imagine breathing in that bright color of worthiness and
- 4:49feel that it is recharging your battery of self belief.
- 4:55And as you exhale, feel that any insecurities, any thoughts or
- 5:06fears of not being enough is leaving your body in your
- 5:14outward breath. And imagine giving that a dark
- 5:19grey colour as you breathe in the worthiness and exhale those
- 5:28insecurities. And many people are surprised to
- 5:34learn emotions often have a home inside the body.
- 5:43Anxiety is sometimes in the gut. Stress is sometimes in the jaw
- 5:49or the neck. But I want you to scan your body
- 5:55for where those insecurities or fears may be, maybe in the chest
- 6:04or the torso or somewhere else. But Amanda, imagine breathing in
- 6:10that bright color of worthiness and imagine it melting away or
- 6:19dissolving the very location of those insecurities.
- 6:28And then as you exhale, see those melted or dissipated
- 6:36insecurities then leaving your body.
- 6:41And as you do, notice, your feelings of worthiness increase.
- 6:52Notice yourself belief start to become stronger.
- 7:02Notice that you start to evaluate all of your good
- 7:06qualities easily, because if the definition of self esteem is the
- 7:16contrast between your ideal self and your current self, a way in
- 7:25which people's self esteem could be artificially low is to focus
- 7:30on the difference rather than what's exactly the same.
- 7:37And I want you to think about all of those things that are
- 7:43exactly the same in who you are now and who you would want to
- 7:47be. Perhaps your ability to learn
- 7:56the kind of person you are as a friend, your intelligence.
- 8:04I want you to find that feeling of gratitude and appreciation
- 8:10for all of your most wonderful qualities.
- 8:18And as you breathe in that colour of worthiness and those
- 8:23insecurities continue to leave your body, you notice that the
- 8:30deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you're becoming.
- 8:34And the more relaxed you're becoming, the deeper you
- 8:36breathe, each breath taking you deeper and deeper than the last.
- 8:45And as your physical body relaxes, your imagination
- 8:51awakens. And I want you to imagine
- 8:57thinking back to a memory, A memory of you in your past, when
- 9:05you were oozing self-confidence, when there was a playful,
- 9:13easygoing spirit. I want you to think of a time
- 9:19when you were smiling often, and perhaps you had
- 9:30responsibilities, but you met those responsibilities with a
- 9:37powerfully resourceful way. And when you can imagine that
- 9:44version of you, playful and resourceful, perhaps even
- 9:51fearless, knowing that that version of you was more than
- 9:57enough, then imagine going back to that moment like an invisible
- 10:04observer. See how you talked and moved and
- 10:12made decisions, how you influenced other people and how
- 10:20you solved problems. And start to mimic that version
- 10:25of you Breathe the way they breathe.
- 10:33Perhaps even mimic a facial expression or a way of looking.
- 10:42And when you're utterly convinced that that version of
- 10:45you had all the resources and levels of self belief that would
- 10:51be very useful for you now, then step into that version of you so
- 11:00you start to feel how you felt back then.
- 11:08Unshakable self belief. And I want you to imagine
- 11:16someone challenging you back then, telling you that you're
- 11:21not doing enough, you're not responsible enough.
- 11:29And I want you to feel what you would say in response, and
- 11:35perhaps you would feel that you can hear their words but
- 11:41disagree with them. You could get curious as to find
- 11:47out what's not quite there. And you decide if you can
- 11:54improve that thing, learn something new, or perhaps reject
- 12:02their suggestion entirely and highlight all the things that
- 12:07you're doing to disprove them. But you could do that with a
- 12:13smile on your face, relaxed, playful and confident.
- 12:21No need for seriousness here. And I want you to feel that that
- 12:28level of self belief, that resourceful feeling also has a
- 12:33home inside your body and a color and a shape there in that
- 12:39location. And let's make it a
- 12:42three-dimensional shape. And that way you can see if that
- 12:47three-dimensional shape is moving in some way and just
- 12:52amplify the color, the size and the movement until you feel you
- 13:00have unshakable self belief. You feel more than good enough
- 13:06when you feel so resourceful that if you do need to solve a
- 13:11problem or learn something new, then you can just figure it out.
- 13:21I want you to imagine noticing your inner dialogue when you
- 13:25feel this way. Encouraging, supportive, backing
- 13:30you 100%, No doubts. Certainty, rock solid certainty.
- 13:43I want you to imagine leaving that place and floating forwards
- 13:48in time and finding someone that you believe has the ability to
- 13:55have big responsibilities, perhaps a serious role, and yet
- 14:05a youthful, playful, fun energy connected to it.
- 14:11And when you can imagine seeing that person that has those
- 14:20qualities, let me know about nodding your head.
- 14:25And maybe it's a friend or someone you admire, or maybe
- 14:36it's someone you know that you've never met, but you just
- 14:38know they have that playful, youthful energy and yet have
- 14:43incredibly big responsibilities in a serious or high stakes
- 14:50role. And I want you to observe that
- 14:55person that for them, they don't need to be serious in order to
- 15:01do something serious. I want you to see how they find
- 15:07that perfect balance, to be serious about what they're
- 15:13doing, but perhaps fun or playful or tenacious or creative
- 15:20in terms of how they're doing it.
- 15:26I want you to picture a swan on a lake.
- 15:34You see it gracefully gliding on the surface, but underneath they
- 15:42are ferociously paddling. But you don't see the chaos, you
- 15:51see the gracefulness. And I want you to imagine that
- 15:57this person that you're watching can be doing something serious
- 16:02under the surface, yet going about it in a playful, fun,
- 16:08relaxed way. And then imagine stepping into
- 16:14that person, taking on their perspective, feeling how you
- 16:20would feel to get the balance just right.
- 16:26To have the responsibilities to do important things, but to be
- 16:34free to reawaken that youthful, fearless version of you and know
- 16:42that it is enhancing your ability to do it.
- 16:51Feel that you are reawakening all of those neural pathways,
- 16:57feeling that it's possible to have responsibilities, to be
- 17:03grown up, and yet have that youthful, playful energy.
- 17:14And now go forwards even more in time to your future.
- 17:20And I want you to imagine seeing you in your near future with a
- 17:27different facial expression, different body language, the
- 17:33flexibility of freedom of playfulness.
- 17:38And maybe the clue is that you're smiling more or moving
- 17:44differently, but I want you to imagine that you're seeing
- 17:48yourself in a responsible situation or something.
- 17:54High stakes. And yet that version of you, the
- 18:00future version of you, doesn't seem stressed, has no self
- 18:09doubt. I want you to see a version of
- 18:13you filled with confidence, self belief, but an easy going free
- 18:19nature, playful, relaxed and yet confident, decisive and
- 18:31responsible. And if you could imagine that
- 18:35future version of you with that fusion, the right qualities to
- 18:44help, the right responsibilities, let me know by
- 18:47nodding your head. And sometimes in a shop when
- 18:58you're trying a new clothes, you try them on to see if they fit.
- 19:02And I want you to step into this version of you to see if it
- 19:07feels right that you can have then in a certainty, that self
- 19:16belief, that confidence, that playful, youthful nature, and
- 19:21yet still have those responsibilities.
- 19:27And if you need to make any tweaks or amendments to get it
- 19:32just right and make those adjustments now because being
- 19:39playful doesn't mean being silly.
- 19:44Being filled with self belief doesn't mean being arrogant.
- 19:49I want you to find the optimum level, the sweet spot where it
- 19:56just right. And then just imagine
- 20:03experiencing what you experience in that responsible or high
- 20:07stakes or grown up situation and yet you feel different.
- 20:15Less weight, less heaviness, less seriousness.
- 20:21That even if the situation is serious, you don't need to be.
- 20:28And once you've test driven that version of you and made the
- 20:32adjustments and find the right combination that we know by
- 20:37nodding your head. Those old neural pathways are
- 21:04awakening, and if there's anything blocking that shift, be
- 21:12willing to test it out. And if it doesn't quite work, in
- 21:19reality, you are so resourceful you can just figure out what
- 21:27needs to be changed and changed it.
- 21:31But if you have the willingness to figure it out as you go
- 21:37along, let me know by nodding your head.
- 21:50That's in reawakening that resourceful version of you, full
- 21:56of self belief and confidence, feeling immune to those fears of
- 22:06not being enough. Because this version of you
- 22:11knows that you are more than enough and anyone that doesn't
- 22:17value is a reflection of them and not a reflection of you.
- 22:28Because you determine your value, not other people.
- 22:34It's time to leave this place past the present and the future,
- 22:38knowing in every case you are resourceful, you have that self
- 22:44belief and you feel worthy. So imagine starting to return
- 22:51back to your physical body in the present.
- 22:58Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your
- 23:04nose. Just wiggle your fingers and
- 23:07wiggle your toes. Connect and calibrate into the
- 23:10here and the now as very soon I count from 1:00 to 10:00 to
- 23:16awaken you. And you will awaken feeling
- 23:19resourceful, like you've let go of a lot of insecurities and
- 23:27have reawakened that side of you that has been dormant for too
- 23:34long. And over the next few days,
- 23:39don't be surprised if you notice either subtle or dramatic
- 23:45shifts, giving you evidence that the transition and reawakening
- 23:52is continuing, starting to account to awaken you. 123
- 23:59Waking up. 456 More alert 7-8 Open your eyes.
- 24:04Open your eyes. 910 Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
