- 2:10Speaker 2: Let me just say, right off the break, rest in
- 2:14Speaker 2: power to a real one, Foggy Nelson.
- 2:20Speaker 1: It was five minutes.
- 2:24Speaker 2: It wasn't even asked. We got they lie to all
- 2:29Speaker 2: of us, these niggas said, we bringing them back my
- 2:33Speaker 2: man up. Joe Winner said, I wouldn't do this show
- 2:36Speaker 2: without my man Foggy Nelson for five minutes maybe because
- 2:41Speaker 2: after that, I'm putting hot ones in fogg pockets straight
- 2:46Speaker 2: up the foggy, right off the mock wave hot pockets,
- 2:51Speaker 2: like boy, he caught it, he caught that shit.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Please, Oh my gosh, listen, I am going to commend
- 2:58Speaker 3: them for just doing something left field ship, but nigga,
- 3:02Speaker 3: you lied, Like.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Nigga, Like maybe two days before we saw the episode,
- 3:06Speaker 2: I was on some random form and they're talking about
- 3:09Speaker 2: what they expected to see in season two, and somebody
- 3:12Speaker 2: was like, Oh, they're bringing all the characters back, and
- 3:14Speaker 2: somebody else was like, well, yeah, I hope they killed
- 3:16Speaker 2: Foggy because I never liked them anyway, and I was
- 3:19Speaker 2: better to fight that man, to be like bru.
- 3:23Speaker 3: You know.
- 3:24Speaker 2: They also give me some lottery numbers, my nigga, because.
- 3:27Speaker 3: I'm actually curious, right for real, I'm actually curious what
- 3:31Speaker 3: people thought about Fire because I thought I thought like
- 3:34Speaker 3: people didn't like dislike him.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I just thought like people was like, oh, he's just
- 3:37Speaker 1: part of the gang, like.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Like the Darna for comics. I never liked that, nigga.
- 3:42Speaker 2: It was just the name Foggy won't comic.
- 3:48Speaker 1: What about the live action this version?
- 3:50Speaker 2: I didn't mind him, and I was tight when my
- 3:53Speaker 2: man caught that hot pocket man.
- 3:56Speaker 3: You know what was funny, Like when he was on
- 3:58Speaker 3: screen and like, you know, the actors look a little different,
- 4:01Speaker 3: and I was like, oh, he got a nice cut.
- 4:02Speaker 2: He was right. I was like, oh, you've been working out.
- 4:04Speaker 1: He gave him some money.
- 4:06Speaker 2: He was looking like Turtle in later seasons office.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, I said that. You know that he
- 4:11Speaker 1: cleaned up real nice and then.
- 4:14Speaker 2: And then he cleaned and then he got cleaned up.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Man who did the body? But uh, yeah, so that
- 4:23Speaker 1: was a big shocker.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Have mercy, like just I can't. I can't imagine what
- 4:32Speaker 2: the internet is going through right now because we saw
- 4:34Speaker 2: this early, so we've been on it. We've been sitting
- 4:37Speaker 2: on this since we dropped the spoiler phil or Free Review.
- 4:40Speaker 2: You know, we've been like, oh my god, and they
- 4:45Speaker 2: murdered that. Man. I fully expected the actor to being
- 4:51Speaker 2: you know, fog give me your flashbacks probably you know at.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Some point, but wow, yeah, because it's telegraphing.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Again, you can't trust I n d all the way
- 4:59Speaker 3: withographing that he will be showing up in some capacity,
- 5:03Speaker 3: like you said, maybe it'll be a flashback, maybe it'll.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Be a you know, this is your conscience speaking like
- 5:09Speaker 1: I don't. I don't fucking know. But like I, as
- 5:13Speaker 1: it was happening, I sat there and.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I said, well, goddamn, Like I literally yelled that out
- 5:18Speaker 3: loud because I was just like, well wait a minute,
- 5:20Speaker 3: well wait, but let me say this though, and I'm
- 5:24Speaker 3: sorry Foggy had to be you, but I was cool.
- 5:31Speaker 3: But what I want to say to is that was
- 5:33Speaker 3: so fucking cool how they did it, though, because that
- 5:36Speaker 3: was one of the most Again, really it's not a
- 5:39Speaker 3: true I could tell this some.
- 5:41Speaker 1: There's probably some digital cuts there, but.
- 5:43Speaker 3: That one shot ish scene that includes you, Foggy, I'm sorry,
- 5:51Speaker 3: but you was part.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Of the one shot I mean laying on the ground.
- 5:55Speaker 3: And we had mentioned this in our nopiler review how
- 5:59Speaker 3: this shows a little bit different but really fantastic way
- 6:03Speaker 3: of showing dar Devil's powers and or his his heightened
- 6:06Speaker 3: senses if you will mm hm that whole fucking one
- 6:10Speaker 3: shot quote where my man's is fighting going off on
- 6:15Speaker 3: point dex still or whatever, and he's listening for Foggy's
- 6:19Speaker 3: heartbeat every so often like bruh, is my nigga alive?
- 6:24Speaker 1: Who thought of that?
- 6:26Speaker 2: That was intense And then that that approach.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Cat follows Matt throughout at least the first two episodes,
- 6:34Speaker 3: that follows him about where he's supposed to be focused
- 6:36Speaker 3: on the one thing, but then he think he doctor
- 6:37Speaker 3: Manhattan and could be listening in on everything right and to.
- 6:42Speaker 2: His detriment, well, I mean to some people.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Benefit and detriment because we see it go both ways.
- 6:50Speaker 2: But like in that situation, there was nothing he could
- 6:52Speaker 2: really do, you know.
- 6:54Speaker 3: But and you know how cold and again I'm sorry, Foggy,
- 6:56Speaker 3: but that shit was fire. You know how cold that
- 6:59Speaker 3: is to be like you bomb, you.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Know you're getting it in. Is my nigga alive? I
- 7:06Speaker 1: gotta check in for a nigga as you and I
- 7:08Speaker 1: tells you like the type of person he is, Like
- 7:10Speaker 1: you know, in the middle of all this, what is
- 7:13Speaker 1: my nance?
- 7:13Speaker 3: Is he gonna be okay? No, he ain't gonna be okay.
- 7:18Speaker 3: That's the other part, nitty gritty, we're back to the
- 7:22Speaker 3: fucking streets. No, your nigga ain't making it.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I mean that nigga caught one straight to the heart.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Like you know, like and that's not Kate Page. When
- 7:32Speaker 3: I said turn like going like this, I said, oh, no,
- 7:35Speaker 3: he's cooked.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I knew he was cooked when I realized who shot him.
- 7:39Speaker 2: When it was when I was like, oh shit, that's bullseye, right,
- 7:42Speaker 2: I said, yeah, I'm like, oh goodness is because the
- 7:45Speaker 2: thing with the fly right, it is that fly shot
- 7:50Speaker 2: yo yo. I mean like like bulls Eye is one
- 7:55Speaker 2: of them characters. If you read him in the comments,
- 7:56Speaker 2: he is just you know that he is. He's terrifying
- 8:00Speaker 2: with Yeah, he is terrifying. I remember he fought Captain
- 8:02Speaker 2: America one time, and I remember being terrified for cap
- 8:07Speaker 2: reading that issue because I was like, this dude is
- 8:10Speaker 2: a monster and he can kill you with anything.
- 8:13Speaker 3: And imagine you can't see him. That's the other part,
- 8:16Speaker 3: Like you know you're doing on your sniper ship. You
- 8:18Speaker 3: can't see what snipers are scary in general.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Right, but imagine a nigga that don't miss.
- 8:24Speaker 3: And then for that to be happening and Page be
- 8:27Speaker 3: in the center and all this shit happened around her,
- 8:29Speaker 3: but she being left to just be alive because he
- 8:33Speaker 3: could have he could.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Have wopped her.
- 8:34Speaker 2: He was trying to whop her.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I don't know that. I mean he was purposely dodging her.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Now he walks up to give her the bop. That
- 8:43Speaker 2: is his point. Hello, Hello, Hello Karen, he says it
- 8:46Speaker 2: to her, pulls up.
- 8:48Speaker 1: He wanted to do it personally, Yeah, he.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Wanted to make sure she saw who it was he
- 8:52Speaker 3: was terrifizing her when he was in sniper mode. He
- 8:55Speaker 3: was terrorizing her. And that's what I'm saying, why he
- 9:00Speaker 3: want to do that exactly exactly? You know, someone could
- 9:03Speaker 3: it's easy, light work.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Light work.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, No, that was hard, so hard.
- 9:10Speaker 3: But that and that is kind of that's how the
- 9:14Speaker 3: season starts, like that ship is insane, like these niggas
- 9:18Speaker 3: did they big one?
- 9:19Speaker 2: Okay?
- 9:19Speaker 3: With these first two episodes and the reintroduction to Wilson
- 9:24Speaker 3: Fixed formally the artist formerly known as Kingpin.
- 9:27Speaker 1: According to him, m hmm.
- 9:29Speaker 2: The parallels to king Pin and our current president.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I think, you know what, there's some parallels.
- 9:36Speaker 2: But also I'm ain't also to our current mayor.
- 9:40Speaker 3: I was gonna say, I'm getting more you know, uh,
- 9:42Speaker 3: Mayor Eric Mixy Adams, because you know, we always want
- 9:47Speaker 3: to be up in with the people and all this
- 9:49Speaker 3: other stuff, and you know, even just a tad bit
- 9:51Speaker 3: smarter about it, Like I actually liked him more than
- 9:54Speaker 3: Mayor Adams. I just and also because I love when
- 9:58Speaker 3: Vincent and I feel as a actor, and I don't
- 10:00Speaker 3: want to align him with anyone that he personally cannot
- 10:03Speaker 3: stand anyway, Trump, he.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Can't because he says he has been very vocal about it.
- 10:10Speaker 2: And I think that's why he's playing it like this,
- 10:12Speaker 2: because this shows, you know, and even you know, Matt
- 10:15Speaker 2: makes a pointed it like when he's like, if this
- 10:18Speaker 2: is who New York wants, then maybe this is what
- 10:19Speaker 2: they deserve, and they call him cynecal And I like
- 10:22Speaker 2: that they did that, you know, because I'm now, this is.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Who you voted for when we're talking about dump, right,
- 10:28Speaker 1: this is who I voted for. This is what I
- 10:29Speaker 1: want it, right, Yeah.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And I don't like that approach to people because one,
- 10:34Speaker 2: that's a very simplistic view of the voting system in America,
- 10:39Speaker 2: and to it's a very cynical view of people and everything.
- 10:43Speaker 2: And I hate centicism in general. So I was glad
- 10:45Speaker 2: that people called match Park ass out for that, because
- 10:48Speaker 2: no man like one like, no, we know about red jurisdictions,
- 10:52Speaker 2: et cetera, et cetera, redlining. I mean, I can just
- 10:55Speaker 2: go on and on. I mean, the goddamn electoral college
- 11:00Speaker 2: only exists because of slavery, and that's the only reason
- 11:03Speaker 2: why it exists to this day is because of slavery.
- 11:05Speaker 2: And they knew that if they didn't have it when
- 11:07Speaker 2: they freed the slaves. You know, niggas don't vote and
- 11:11Speaker 2: them niggas will be out of here, so they did
- 11:13Speaker 2: all that. So yeah, I don't like centicism anyway, and
- 11:16Speaker 2: I'm glad it was called out on that.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I understand, like not like the centiism, and like I
- 11:21Speaker 3: understand trying to do the inverse. I also understand like
- 11:26Speaker 3: the realism behind it. It's just like and yes, you're right,
- 11:29Speaker 3: sure it's simplifying things, but when you have simple people
- 11:32Speaker 3: making simple fucking decisions.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Like that, Because when I say simple decision, I mean
- 11:40Speaker 1: I'm calling the people simple.
- 11:41Speaker 2: But what I really and you know what, poorly educated.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Regardless of what adjective you want to use.
- 11:50Speaker 3: My concern, which I understand theism is that the person
- 11:54Speaker 3: told you, to your face, there a snake. I will
- 11:58Speaker 3: bite you with all all force, inject as much venomin
- 12:02Speaker 3: as possible, and kill you where you stand.
- 12:05Speaker 1: And you're like, I'm signing up for that. What the
- 12:08Speaker 1: fuck else do you say? Is that senism of that point?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Is that realism?
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah? I don't.
- 12:13Speaker 1: This is what you said, This is what you said,
- 12:14Speaker 1: is what they said he was gonna do.
- 12:16Speaker 2: This is what you voted for.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what. And again, even with.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Wilson's fist, you knew what he was. You knew what
- 12:23Speaker 3: he was about what he did. He's not hiding it.
- 12:27Speaker 3: You physically and verbally all that see this stuff out
- 12:30Speaker 3: this man, and you still go for it anyway.
- 12:33Speaker 1: So what does that say about you?
- 12:36Speaker 2: That you're poorly educated? The people and people and that
- 12:40Speaker 2: and that charismatic, manipulative people can convince her, you know,
- 12:44Speaker 2: people to do anything, and they've been trained by media
- 12:47Speaker 2: et cetera to trust people of you know, people who
- 12:51Speaker 2: they see on TV for the last fifty years, et cetera,
- 12:56Speaker 2: et cetera. So that's why, you know, yeah, it's I
- 12:59Speaker 2: I've also grown up, you know, whereas like at one
- 13:02Speaker 2: point we had Ronald Reagan as a president who is
- 13:04Speaker 2: a former actor. You know, this shit happened before. You know.
- 13:07Speaker 2: It's like people, Yeah, you know, that's what I mean.
- 13:11Speaker 2: And for the good or bad, you know, we've had
- 13:13Speaker 2: good mayors and governors who are actors, etcetera, celebrities, whatever.
- 13:16Speaker 2: But it's just one of those things like we live
- 13:19Speaker 2: in a country that worships celebrity, et cetera. And so
- 13:22Speaker 2: there's a lot of layers to it, That's what I'm saying,
- 13:24Speaker 2: and I don't Well back to the.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Other betisod it's mirrored and Daredevil.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yes, it's very mirrored in dare level. But also while
- 13:31Speaker 2: I love the realism in Daredevil, like you know, the
- 13:33Speaker 2: nitty gritty, I'm also not a person I think realism
- 13:36Speaker 2: and cynicism are way too close, you know what I mean.
- 13:38Speaker 2: I think that like you got to dream and believe
- 13:41Speaker 2: in shit unseen if you really want things to happen
- 13:44Speaker 2: in life, and so realism got to go out the
- 13:47Speaker 2: window window just with citicism.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Well, Matt has lost his ability to dream at this
- 13:52Speaker 1: point because.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Got smoked.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And I do like in the opening.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Credits where they yo they take the little interpretation of
- 14:03Speaker 3: his world crumbling around him and showed like that's the intro.
- 14:07Speaker 2: But the drop of him dropping the helmet into the credits,
- 14:11Speaker 2: that was insane. That was.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Beautiful, beautiful artistic choices and like you know, like when
- 14:20Speaker 3: we when.
- 14:20Speaker 1: You want to do ship on the nose, this is
- 14:21Speaker 1: what we want.
- 14:23Speaker 2: You're right, right, that was on the nose as but
- 14:27Speaker 2: it was incredible on the nose. It was art on
- 14:31Speaker 2: the notes, right, there was this is cinema. Yeah, you
- 14:35Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like I Yo, back to it again,
- 14:38Speaker 2: just just going back to Wilson fits.
- 14:40Speaker 3: You said this before. I just wanted to make sure
- 14:42Speaker 3: we mentioned it this time in the spoiler review.
- 14:45Speaker 1: The fact that the incidents of Echo carried over.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Caught one.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Wilson got shot.
- 14:54Speaker 3: And you see that ship, yeah you and you see
- 14:58Speaker 3: how it affects him mentally too. It affected him emotionally.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I think he's gonna have a glass eye at some point.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I think that eye is coming out.
- 15:07Speaker 3: He talked about you know he's having you know, remember
- 15:09Speaker 3: he had a conversation. He was like, you know you
- 15:10Speaker 3: have any kids? Why I used to have a mentee
- 15:12Speaker 3: once I tried. I tried, and then Matt Matt with
- 15:19Speaker 3: his one line better got to where.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Did it nigga? Like did they shoot you in the face? Yo?
- 15:26Speaker 3: This is one thing that I love that I normalna
- 15:28Speaker 3: love about the series and what they laid out, the
- 15:30Speaker 3: adversarial slash you need me, I need you type of approach,
- 15:35Speaker 3: and also like the balance, like they are the counterbalances
- 15:39Speaker 3: to each other and they keep each other in check,
- 15:41Speaker 3: but they're also like with one without the others, like
- 15:43Speaker 3: you might go oh, you might o d and go
- 15:46Speaker 3: off the deep side.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It's not for the existence of the other.
- 15:49Speaker 3: It's it's kind of not quite the kind of similar
- 15:51Speaker 3: to the Batman Joker relationship, but it has tones of it.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely tones of it, and even tones of Like
- 15:59Speaker 2: I talked about this on the A Free Reviewed, scene
- 16:02Speaker 2: in the diner was very reminiscent to me of the
- 16:05Speaker 2: famous scene from Heat when De Niro and Paccino are
- 16:09Speaker 2: in the diner and they're distrusting, distrusting their differences, and
- 16:12Speaker 2: they're basically talking about, how yo, you know, we can
- 16:14Speaker 2: sit here and have this meal, but you know, when
- 16:16Speaker 2: it comes down to it, I'm gonna put a capany
- 16:19Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like if you know, if
- 16:21Speaker 2: you fuck up, I'm gonna put it that line.
- 16:24Speaker 1: To find out.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And when it comes out to it in the movie,
- 16:26Speaker 2: one of them puts a campan the other.
- 16:28Speaker 3: You know. And can I just say I love the
- 16:30Speaker 3: way that scene even looks like The Dynasty where we
- 16:33Speaker 3: had the camera just positioned. It looked like a fucking
- 16:36Speaker 3: panel from a comic book where you have this hulking
- 16:39Speaker 3: figure of Wilson Fisk and he's literally dominated. They purposely
- 16:45Speaker 3: had visit. Maybe this is Vincent's Di Nafrio's approach. He
- 16:48Speaker 3: has this whole fucking body. Basically he's almost fucking grabbing
- 16:51Speaker 3: the other side of the table at this point, right,
- 16:53Speaker 3: He's so goddamn big.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And then you see they're just sitting there like, you know,
- 16:56Speaker 1: he's like this little guy even though.
- 16:58Speaker 3: It's it's it's it's tricks, right, He's just sitting there like,
- 17:01Speaker 3: you know, like I'm on a you know, not dominating
- 17:03Speaker 3: at all, right, knowing this man, could you know, funck
- 17:05Speaker 3: shit up. And he's just looking up at Vincent and
- 17:08Speaker 3: and you know, just reading his ass, going in on
- 17:11Speaker 3: his ass, snapping on him, and you know, Kingpin just
- 17:14Speaker 3: you know, just talking back to him, and you just
- 17:16Speaker 3: see the electricity between these are at tours.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You see that fucking I will bite your head off
- 17:23Speaker 1: type energy.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Right like it was just it was dead ass. It
- 17:29Speaker 3: was dead ass on some the devil, you know, speaking
- 17:32Speaker 3: to his archangel type shit like ah, I got something
- 17:34Speaker 3: to say.
- 17:35Speaker 1: To you, like it was it's palpable.
- 17:38Speaker 3: And they this is why you gots to have their
- 17:40Speaker 3: original cast, because they have that history. They literally have
- 17:44Speaker 3: that history between the real life people who are who
- 17:47Speaker 3: are giving life to these characters and the characters themselves.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Dave breathed they I don't say growth, They breathed life
- 17:54Speaker 3: into these characters all these years, and they body these characters.
- 17:59Speaker 1: What's a nafil wilskon Fisk, Yeah.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Wilson, he's up. It's like Charlie Conks Vincent are up
- 18:06Speaker 2: there with Robert Downey Jr. In terms of you know, perfection.
- 18:11Speaker 2: John Burnhal is another Like I knew when they cast
- 18:14Speaker 2: him that he was going to be one of the
- 18:15Speaker 2: greatest punishers of all time.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I mean, I can't replace because and again that's not
- 18:21Speaker 3: to say no one else can ever have a chance.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I'll see you in fifteen years when the MCU resets again,
- 18:25Speaker 3: like the matrix.
- 18:25Speaker 1: That's not what I'm saying right now, right now, now,
- 18:28Speaker 1: this is it.
- 18:29Speaker 2: This is it fifteen years shirt Uh. We didn't really
- 18:32Speaker 2: shot her out on the spoiler free, but let's do
- 18:35Speaker 2: it now. I let Zero, who plays Vanessa fist. There
- 18:43Speaker 2: is some you know, like God, you want to talk
- 18:47Speaker 2: some drama, you want to talk some electricity the drama
- 18:51Speaker 2: and I.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Love and I love it again just because remember remember everything,
- 18:57Speaker 3: this nigga king king was doing Vanessa Vanessa like like
- 19:01Speaker 3: you know, he like Vanessa's his Martha where it's just
- 19:03Speaker 3: like that's the trump card, that's the name, that's the
- 19:04Speaker 3: person who say and everything changes for him, right and whether.
- 19:08Speaker 1: You know what.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Over Vanessa Vanessa el and.
- 19:16Speaker 3: To what bet I mean saying, Like once again, when
- 19:19Speaker 3: we talk about palpable energy, when we talk about relationships
- 19:23Speaker 3: between characters, you know the way it jumps from the
- 19:26Speaker 3: page to the screen and this show and you it's
- 19:30Speaker 3: another thing where it's like it's kind of scary seeing
- 19:32Speaker 3: them interact, you know, Vanessa and Wilson, because you're just
- 19:35Speaker 3: like this feels very domestic right now, right and not
- 19:39Speaker 3: in the good way to mess, it the negative way
- 19:41Speaker 3: to mess. That's like they could go domestic any minute
- 19:44Speaker 3: on either side.
- 19:45Speaker 2: And you want to talk about like how you know,
- 19:47Speaker 2: dared Evil and Kingpin keep each other in check now
- 19:50Speaker 2: that Vanessa is back, you know awoke and you know awake,
- 19:55Speaker 2: It's like, are they really keeping each other in check?
- 19:57Speaker 2: Are they doing to drive each other more, you know,
- 20:01Speaker 2: down their path?
- 20:02Speaker 3: Are they like Bobby and Whitney They're given me they
- 20:04Speaker 3: dragging each other down a.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Little bity giving me Bobby and Whitney, they give me.
- 20:07Speaker 3: A little bit and then by the by the look
- 20:10Speaker 3: the twist that they did for the second episode, like
- 20:12Speaker 3: with them trying to quote work it.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Out, I don't know, man, this might get worse.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Yeah, because also like even though that there's clearly and
- 20:23Speaker 3: this is what we call a toxic relationship, even though
- 20:25Speaker 3: they love each other, they clearly have lots of ANAMACI.
- 20:31Speaker 2: To each other. Yes, yeah, And it's one of those
- 20:34Speaker 2: things where he's lived a whole life where she was
- 20:37Speaker 2: in her coma, and then she gets out of the coma,
- 20:42Speaker 2: he gets hurt, you know, she has to live a
- 20:44Speaker 2: little bit of a life and she lives it. She
- 20:46Speaker 2: gets she lives it and it's happy. And then he
- 20:49Speaker 2: comes back and it's like, well, maybe we're different, you know,
- 20:53Speaker 2: maybe we've grown apart, and we really have, you know,
- 20:56Speaker 2: you've grown Like while I was doing and you have
- 20:58Speaker 2: an idealized version of me in your head, you know,
- 21:02Speaker 2: because I was sleep, you know, and you could do
- 21:04Speaker 2: whatever you want and you could think, you know, oh
- 21:07Speaker 2: I do all this five and that's up. But now
- 21:09Speaker 2: that I'm here and you have to deal with me
- 21:11Speaker 2: in person, it becomes a whole different thing, and it's
- 21:14Speaker 2: fucking brilliant.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Shit, it is brilliant.
- 21:16Speaker 3: And another point that I think is brilliant is since
- 21:21Speaker 3: his relationship with Vanessa is evolving, like we're watching it evolve,
- 21:25Speaker 3: like in real time, and you know, away from the
- 21:27Speaker 3: whole like you said, crush a man.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Skull over card door. Then he crush the car door, right,
- 21:35Speaker 2: he did.
- 21:35Speaker 3: He may not do that any be doing that anymore.
- 21:38Speaker 3: And and according to Wilson, he may be changing as
- 21:41Speaker 3: a man. And we know, like the core is not
- 21:43Speaker 3: exactly changing, but he's he's trying to. It's like, you know,
- 21:48Speaker 3: it's like you're trying to halfway go legit. Yeah, but
- 21:51Speaker 3: you're still at but you're.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Still My favorite sandwich is this one?
- 21:56Speaker 1: Right?
- 21:56Speaker 2: Right?
- 21:57Speaker 1: No, I know, And that's what I'm saying. You're you're
- 21:59Speaker 1: you're half a legitimate, You're still a thug.
- 22:01Speaker 3: You're still using thug tactics, you're still using street justice, right.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I find it interesting at least this is the way
- 22:07Speaker 3: I take it. That And this is one of the
- 22:09Speaker 3: reasons why he's just pushes so hard to be Mayor.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Besides you know, wanting the thug powers. He's his his
- 22:14Speaker 3: his sights are set on a different love, the love
- 22:17Speaker 3: of the city, the love of the power, the love
- 22:19Speaker 3: of like he has this.
- 22:21Speaker 1: That's one of the major.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Flaval flaws of Wilson fist, Like, yes, it's just having
- 22:25Speaker 3: power and needing power over something or someone, but loving
- 22:29Speaker 3: someone so much that he has to have full control
- 22:32Speaker 3: over them. He doesn't have that anymore or is losing
- 22:34Speaker 3: that when it comes to Vanessa and now you see
- 22:37Speaker 3: the city like you when he says, you know, when
- 22:39Speaker 3: he's like looking up in the sky whatever, I forgot
- 22:41Speaker 3: what the fuck he was and he was just like,
- 22:43Speaker 3: I'm doing this because I love that city like I
- 22:45Speaker 3: love this city. He's not fucking lying like a lot
- 22:48Speaker 3: of people might see that and read that like, oh
- 22:49Speaker 3: he's just talking to talk. No, he's he is deeply
- 22:52Speaker 3: he is the city could be personified at this point.
- 22:55Speaker 3: This is now what he loves. This is what he's
- 22:57Speaker 3: seeing as belonging to him. And we all know when
- 23:00Speaker 3: Wilson believes something belongs to him, what fucking happens.
- 23:04Speaker 2: And then, like you said, the other side of that
- 23:06Speaker 2: is that he's losing his love with Vanessa. So he's
- 23:09Speaker 2: going to be like, Okay, I can get the city
- 23:12Speaker 2: to love me in a way that Vanessa won't. So
- 23:15Speaker 2: he'll do anything to get the city to love him.
- 23:17Speaker 2: But now he's quickly realizing that's not gonna probably happen either,
- 23:22Speaker 2: which is going to frustrate him. And you know what
- 23:24Speaker 2: happens when he gets frustrated, he devolves the thuff there
- 23:28Speaker 2: you go.
- 23:29Speaker 3: And it's interesting and Wilson, excuse me, Vincent plays this
- 23:31Speaker 3: so well. You see him from the minute from febye
- 23:35Speaker 3: second by second, Wilson is fighting their urges. You see
- 23:39Speaker 3: how in his twitching when he's sitting there, especially like
- 23:41Speaker 3: when he's talking to Matter, he's just standing around, there's
- 23:43Speaker 3: too many people talking to him at once, or people
- 23:45Speaker 3: or a bother You see his twitching.
- 23:47Speaker 1: You know, he's doing a little bit of this. His fingers.
- 23:49Speaker 3: He's constantly doing you know, I forgot stemming, Like he's
- 23:53Speaker 3: constantly stemming and doing something with his fingers or doing
- 23:56Speaker 3: something with his body to try to dissipate that energy
- 23:59Speaker 3: elsewhere and that and and you got to really watch
- 24:02Speaker 3: when he's doing that, and especially when people say, even
- 24:04Speaker 3: though he's being quiet, he's doing something like it's something
- 24:08Speaker 3: that's bothering him, right, or he's trying his best to
- 24:11Speaker 3: negotiate the emotions that these people are listening from him.
- 24:17Speaker 3: And I don't know how long is this is gonna last.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Uh maybe maybe the therapist is gonna help, but I
- 24:22Speaker 3: don't know.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Now, you know, there we go. I mean that was
- 24:29Speaker 2: one of the things. Okay, a little bit too convenient,
- 24:31Speaker 2: but fuck it. I love it for the drama, you know,
- 24:34Speaker 2: because the same therapist that Wilson and wife are going
- 24:38Speaker 2: to is also fucking Matt and we know that's not
- 24:44Speaker 2: gonna work out anyway. You know, that's don't come up.
- 24:47Speaker 2: You know, Wilson gonna find out.
- 24:49Speaker 1: And did Wilson's henchmen do this shit on purpose?
- 24:53Speaker 3: He already knew, like, because he's very conniving and you know,
- 24:57Speaker 3: you're really not supposed to like him from jump, he's
- 24:59Speaker 3: already connivened.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Yes, Buck, and he seems very like he knows what's
- 25:04Speaker 1: going on.
- 25:05Speaker 3: And I'm wondering if he did some you know, detailing
- 25:10Speaker 3: in the background and was like, aha, I'm.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Not sure if Buck Cashman is a character real name.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I don't think it's the Rose. But there's two characters
- 25:18Speaker 2: who are usually associated with king Pin. One of them
- 25:20Speaker 2: is called the Rose who's a dude who normally wears
- 25:23Speaker 2: a white suit and a purple mask over his face
- 25:26Speaker 2: and usually has a rose in hand. And he's like
- 25:28Speaker 2: a smooth operator, murderer type cat. And then there's the arranger.
- 25:33Speaker 2: And the arranger is just what his name says he is.
- 25:35Speaker 2: He arranges things, you know, so he sets everything up
- 25:38Speaker 2: for the team.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Pin.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Yeah, he gets everything done, all that type of stuff.
- 25:42Speaker 2: So I'm not sure if Buck this might be the arranger.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I'm not sure if that's or Daniel played by Michael Gandolfini.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I'm not sure which of these two because I don't
- 25:53Speaker 2: Daniel Blade's name seems more familiar. I didn't look that
- 25:56Speaker 2: up before we start out, you know, I'm trying to
- 25:59Speaker 2: approach this like, you know, let's see what happens, more
- 26:01Speaker 2: so than I mean, oh, you know, that's a more
- 26:03Speaker 2: overcoming reference. So we'll see if either revolves into those characters.
- 26:07Speaker 2: But Buck is definitely on that arranger type ship. Now,
- 26:12Speaker 2: I don't know, because I don't think one Kingpins, the
- 26:15Speaker 2: only one who knows Matt is there, doesn't know that ship, no.
- 26:20Speaker 1: But he knows that he has a contentious relationship with Matt.
- 26:24Speaker 1: So why not digging and find out who he's dating?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Damnit dating?
- 26:31Speaker 3: And I knew that he didn't know his secret. And
- 26:32Speaker 3: I'm just saying as a Matt, you're right. And never
- 26:37Speaker 3: when Matt pulled up on him when he's walking outside, the.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Him wild like why are you here?
- 26:43Speaker 2: No? You so on point, and that makes it so
- 26:45Speaker 2: much like smarter than it being this wild convenient ship.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I mean, he had this look.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Buck was on it when he was like yeah when
- 26:55Speaker 3: he first showed, because it was two things that he
- 26:57Speaker 3: had to look on his face. And when he made
- 26:59Speaker 3: her signed the NBA, what he was like, I got it,
- 27:01Speaker 3: I got you like, And maybe I could give him
- 27:04Speaker 3: too much credit, but it just seems too to your point,
- 27:06Speaker 3: it's give me that convenient No.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Buck seems like he is the arranger. I don't think
- 27:10Speaker 2: the roads. I think he's doing for the you know,
- 27:12Speaker 2: the Royal. The arranger definitely, And that would steal the
- 27:15Speaker 2: deal right there, because the ranger was somebody who did everything,
- 27:18Speaker 2: didn't really get his hands dirty, just like keep big,
- 27:20Speaker 2: you know, but he made sure that everything got done.
- 27:24Speaker 3: I know you love her a lot. I think your
- 27:26Speaker 3: time at Page is going to be limited. At least
- 27:28Speaker 3: in the beginning because she is staying away from this nigga.
- 27:31Speaker 2: They have pulled the fucking wool over everyone's eyes on
- 27:34Speaker 2: this ship. But I mean, I'm sure Karen is coming back,
- 27:37Speaker 2: you know. Oh yeah, she was great in the scene
- 27:39Speaker 2: since she was in Man that was a great actress.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Like yeah, but she's a really you know, really holds
- 27:46Speaker 2: down the role of care page. And they've never done
- 27:49Speaker 2: the the real dark ship that Karen goes through. I
- 27:54Speaker 2: don't know if there were any hints to it in.
- 27:57Speaker 1: This, but like darken than what just fucking happened with
- 28:00Speaker 1: way get smoked in front of her.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I mean, Karen turns the drugs heavy, you know heavy, yeah,
- 28:06Speaker 2: at points, Yeah, because the various traumas in the book
- 28:09Speaker 2: and all, I mean, Karen goes through it, you know,
- 28:12Speaker 2: like I've never read this stuff, but I know through
- 28:15Speaker 2: her character that she really goes through a lot.
- 28:19Speaker 3: So okay, well yeah, but she's she's understandably staying away
- 28:23Speaker 3: from Matt. It was just too much like both with
- 28:26Speaker 3: like you said, you call him what you not what
- 28:28Speaker 3: you say? He got a hot one, hot you got a.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Hot pocket, hot pockets. And then to see.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Matt the devil push Point Dexter. Who the fuck is
- 28:40Speaker 3: point Dexter, by the way, and how did that does?
- 28:43Speaker 3: Does he come out of a Lazarus?
- 28:44Speaker 1: Where the is this?
- 28:47Speaker 2: That's what they call him in the show Benjamin.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Last name is point dex.
- 28:53Speaker 2: This man is repping me and that's what that's how
- 28:56Speaker 2: I get.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I know, I know, but last name is point Dexter,
- 28:59Speaker 1: so I point okay.
- 29:02Speaker 2: In the comic books, bulls High at one point gets
- 29:06Speaker 2: his bat broken, I think because he gets dropped off
- 29:09Speaker 2: ruf by there devil. Okay, so that's good because he
- 29:13Speaker 2: does some for the ship and then gets an admintaneum
- 29:18Speaker 2: lace skeleton adam skeleton, okay, adamantium, admontonium adam.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I know that's how you pronounced the grown up.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I always pronounced it like that, but now nowadays adamantium, adamantium.
- 29:31Speaker 2: It's always been that. I just said. I was a
- 29:33Speaker 2: kid who saw it. It was like admontonium. I don't know,
- 29:36Speaker 2: adam antium. I've always been about your name. What do
- 29:38Speaker 2: you think this is? I think I'm new to this.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I'm true to this. But yeah, which I don't think
- 29:43Speaker 2: they're doing this because that was always like that I
- 29:46Speaker 2: don't know if they wrecked Coon Thatt in the comics,
- 29:48Speaker 2: but you had to have a healing factor to survive,
- 29:50Speaker 2: that is what.
- 29:51Speaker 1: They He got thrown off of like six story building.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Ain't the fucking way.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Well that part, you know, I mean, my man, you know, hate.
- 30:00Speaker 1: And hate is a powerful drug.
- 30:05Speaker 2: No.
- 30:05Speaker 1: No, he woke up like on some w W ship,
- 30:08Speaker 1: on the Undertaker ship, like he was like and like
- 30:11Speaker 1: the like the breath came back to them.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I'm like, is this the man was standing a year
- 30:15Speaker 2: later in court was also but.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Like it doesn't and it didn't look like he was up.
- 30:20Speaker 1: How is you a supero?
- 30:22Speaker 2: But again again that goes back to the comics. Bullseye
- 30:25Speaker 2: is different, you know he is different? Yeah, yeah, I
- 30:27Speaker 2: mean you gotta. I mean the man is different. The
- 30:29Speaker 2: man threw a paper clip and killed a fly, I know,
- 30:33Speaker 2: handed to the wall when that guy who has a
- 30:36Speaker 2: better aim Bullseye.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 30:41Speaker 2: I bet Hawkeye would argue that one. But well, I
- 30:46Speaker 2: don't know. In the comics sometimes they've given Hawkeye that
- 30:49Speaker 2: same type of ship, like he threw some fingernails at
- 30:51Speaker 2: somebody and murdered him. So you know, like that, you
- 30:55Speaker 2: know he's done Yeah, he's done some wild Yeah it
- 30:58Speaker 2: was it was Illusu because he was locked up, you
- 31:01Speaker 2: know what I mean. So he had to do what
- 31:02Speaker 2: he had to do, and that Hawkeye went buck. So yeah,
- 31:08Speaker 2: you know so, but then again, like I say, the
- 31:11Speaker 2: Bulls has just always been horrifically terrifying to me, but
- 31:15Speaker 2: Hawkeye is also Yeah, that's a tough one. That's a
- 31:18Speaker 2: good one.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Maybe I am looking forward to the meddling that that
- 31:22Speaker 3: will be done by bb Yerick in this series. She
- 31:26Speaker 3: is going to medal I don't know for for who's sake,
- 31:29Speaker 3: but she's going to be.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Meddling a lot.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I hope she, you know, lasts longer than her uncle RP.
- 31:35Speaker 3: You know.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Yeah, when she said who she was, I said, oh,
- 31:38Speaker 1: that's baby, and then she said York.
- 31:39Speaker 3: I said, damn, that's literally I just said oh because
- 31:43Speaker 3: literally all the memories started rushing back.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I said that was your uncle.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Damn.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Like because when she said I was named after my uncle,
- 31:50Speaker 1: that's what she said.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, I've been putting together who she
- 31:55Speaker 2: was before that. I was like, yeah, this is very
- 31:57Speaker 2: long for this ship.
- 31:59Speaker 1: The world's not long for you.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Like, no, they can't, they can't have Lightning Stritch twice.
- 32:04Speaker 2: You can't do that like double on the Family, like
- 32:09Speaker 2: we gotta we gotta.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Keep as many black girls on the show as possible,
- 32:12Speaker 3: Like like you said, we have Kirsten the new Girl.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Yes, love her, love her. Nim James. Yeah, term Reward
- 32:20Speaker 2: series that I know her from. But it's popping my
- 32:23Speaker 2: head as soon we finished the show. But I'm always like,
- 32:26Speaker 2: there's an actress and I like her relationship. I like
- 32:28Speaker 2: how she came in and you know, did the firm
- 32:31Speaker 2: with Matt after the death of you know, after my man,
- 32:35Speaker 2: Ye laid it down. Oh I got laid down down?
- 32:39Speaker 1: Well, well, your girl she was in severance is or
- 32:43Speaker 1: was in seance, but she was in separance.
- 32:45Speaker 2: That's what it is. Oh my god.
- 32:46Speaker 3: I like that.
- 32:47Speaker 2: I hate when that happens. And now I'm like, and
- 32:50Speaker 2: I'm like an idiot, but I get it. You know,
- 32:52Speaker 2: I see every scene she was in in separate, you know, like, yeah,
- 32:55Speaker 2: she's in separance. Oh my god, and she is separate.
- 32:58Speaker 2: What the fund I'm saying that, Like, where do I
- 32:59Speaker 2: do so before? Yes? Yeah, and everyone, Yeah, she's great
- 33:04Speaker 2: at sufferance and great in this so hell yeah, man,
- 33:06Speaker 2: awesome great see her getting more work. I shouted him
- 33:09Speaker 2: out on the other joint, but I gotta do it again, man,
- 33:11Speaker 2: Clark Johnson's baby Clark Johnson, Like I said, I don't
- 33:15Speaker 2: know what else he's done, but he had a legendary
- 33:18Speaker 2: role to me on The Wire. He played the newspaper
- 33:20Speaker 2: editor in the final scene, I mean the final series
- 33:23Speaker 2: in the final season, which focused on the media and
- 33:26Speaker 2: their relationship to everything else that had been happening in
- 33:30Speaker 2: Baltimore over the last four seasons. So it's a very
- 33:33Speaker 2: you know, a lot of people don't f with the
- 33:34Speaker 2: last season as much as I do, but to me,
- 33:36Speaker 2: it's right up there with any season of The Wire,
- 33:38Speaker 2: and Clark carries so much of it. I was overjoyed
- 33:44Speaker 2: when you know he's at the bar. I'm like, oh,
- 33:47Speaker 2: like you were, you know, I was like, oh my man. Yes.
- 33:50Speaker 2: And then he survived that you know, brutal murder, you know,
- 33:54Speaker 2: death free right, yeah, Cherry, Yeah, he was. He was retiring,
- 33:58Speaker 2: but now he's back in it because of everything happened.
- 34:01Speaker 2: He found the fucking scene.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Who Matt really is?
- 34:05Speaker 2: I mean, he survived Bullseye, Like, can you imagine, like
- 34:09Speaker 2: this nigga's over there throwing cue balls off of walls
- 34:12Speaker 2: and killing I.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Don't think we said enough about that.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Just again the terror that was a terrorist attack, yes,
- 34:19Speaker 3: and the way it looked like you said that that
- 34:21Speaker 3: scenior weep that part of the scene you're referring to
- 34:24Speaker 3: where where they were in the back room where they
- 34:25Speaker 3: tried to close the door and they every and it
- 34:27Speaker 3: spilled over to the back room, like you said, a
- 34:29Speaker 3: cue balls getting thrown in niggas, Like that's instant death.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Is that's the part that you were talking about in
- 34:35Speaker 2: the spoiler free review when standing by the door and
- 34:39Speaker 2: they're like looking like a video game. They're like waiting
- 34:42Speaker 2: for the door to us down. No.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Well no, but that's funny when you say that.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Continue, I would have known what part it was for you,
- 34:51Speaker 2: because like that was that was the only little like
- 34:54Speaker 2: where I was like, okay, this is slightly goofy.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Well, you know that just goes back to like I
- 34:57Speaker 3: was like generally, I thought, like, because there is some
- 35:00Speaker 3: CG used, particularly in the first episode, but there is
- 35:03Speaker 3: you know, kind of heavy CG, which I was a
- 35:04Speaker 3: little surprised about because I don't recall that much CG
- 35:08Speaker 3: being done in the original series when he first jumps
- 35:12Speaker 3: down in the Daredevil suit, Matt Murdoch, when he first
- 35:15Speaker 3: jumps down at the fire escape, it looks, it looks
- 35:18Speaker 3: I'm sorry, it.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Looks sketchy, it looks really.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I get it.
- 35:24Speaker 1: But no, watch that again, Ben.
- 35:26Speaker 3: I thought, because I wasn't like, ooh, you know, it's
- 35:29Speaker 3: just like what he even got to be. All he's
- 35:31Speaker 3: doing is jumping down the fire escape. I guess that's
- 35:33Speaker 3: the first time you see him back in the suit.
- 35:35Speaker 3: But it looked like wobbly, like literally wobbly, Like I'm like, whoa,
- 35:40Speaker 3: can y'all like fix his you know, his gyroscope there,
- 35:42Speaker 3: he's he's, you know, rag doll in a little bit
- 35:45Speaker 3: like it was a little off, And I said, oh,
- 35:47Speaker 3: And then like when he was like running across the building,
- 35:50Speaker 3: across the roofs a little bit, it looked a little
- 35:53Speaker 3: bit like is this a shadow puppet play? Like again,
- 35:56Speaker 3: perhaps because we see an early version, maybe that's gonna
- 35:58Speaker 3: be clean up by.
- 35:59Speaker 1: The time we see it. Matt.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Yeah, But then that, you know, like that one shot,
- 36:04Speaker 2: you know parts of it, you know, like I say,
- 36:06Speaker 2: were you know you can tell? Yeah? Yeah, but come on,
- 36:10Speaker 2: fam like my man chasing him up the stairs. You
- 36:14Speaker 2: know them like the struggle is back, you know, I
- 36:17Speaker 2: love the struggle of the fight. You know that both
- 36:20Speaker 2: of them, Yeah.
- 36:21Speaker 1: They are human. They gassed.
- 36:24Speaker 3: You know, Matt by that time had like twenty twenty
- 36:29Speaker 3: in his body and that's the only thing. Like you
- 36:31Speaker 3: see him just going through his sheer adrenaline that's pushing it. Yea.
- 36:34Speaker 1: But man's stuff like fucking porcupine.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Anger and hatred by both of them.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Yeah, anger hate, right, and it's just straight and it's
- 36:43Speaker 3: straight hate going in and then even like when at
- 36:45Speaker 3: the top after Foggy's heart stops and like he's like
- 36:49Speaker 3: my nigga gone, and he's like you know, like you
- 36:52Speaker 3: know when you see two boxers when they gas, and
- 36:54Speaker 3: like they kind of do that like with the hugging
- 36:55Speaker 3: on each other, and you know what I mean, Like
- 36:57Speaker 3: because they're just fucking gassed. Matt does for a minute
- 37:00Speaker 3: where he's just hanging on man. It's like he's crying
- 37:02Speaker 3: and he's like hold on him. And then he just
- 37:04Speaker 3: goes and goes in and wallops him because he's just
- 37:06Speaker 3: like hate mm hmm.
- 37:09Speaker 2: And then you remember, like this is second time that
- 37:11Speaker 2: Matt has like ruined Bullseye because he was damn near
- 37:14Speaker 2: you know, crimpled up at the last time we saw
- 37:16Speaker 2: him in there that was season three, So you're right,
- 37:20Speaker 2: like he like you know, fire Marshall, Bill or some
- 37:22Speaker 2: shit case. This nigga, that cheat coming back.
- 37:24Speaker 1: It was just wild how he did. That's that's why
- 37:27Speaker 1: I mean, when I'm like, who who is this nigga?
- 37:29Speaker 2: This ain't no fucking way again, it goes right back
- 37:32Speaker 2: to the commis and Bullseye is the same thing in
- 37:33Speaker 2: the comics, Like this nigga just does not stop. Like
- 37:36Speaker 2: you know, he got dropped off a building, got a
- 37:38Speaker 2: new Shelton, came back, and he's taken several l's and
- 37:41Speaker 2: you know, murdered mad people since then. But you know
- 37:44Speaker 2: he's still the terror as always.
- 37:45Speaker 3: So there are you know again, just from the story perspective,
- 37:51Speaker 3: you know, I love that they're doing the Wilson is
- 37:53Speaker 3: mayor shit.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I love that they're doing that approach, that storyline. I
- 37:57Speaker 1: love that you have that cat and mouse mental game.
- 38:04Speaker 3: And that's another thing why why Dear Devil works well,
- 38:05Speaker 3: because it's also a very smart series.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Two.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Like, yes, there's the brutality and the violence, but it's
- 38:10Speaker 3: very smart how they do it. It's not just blood
- 38:13Speaker 3: to have blood. It's not just going crazy to be crazy,
- 38:17Speaker 3: like you know, you really like.
- 38:18Speaker 2: We said, we only really have two major fight scenes
- 38:21Speaker 2: in these two episodes, and I thought the second one
- 38:25Speaker 2: between you know, Matt and the two cops was I mean,
- 38:29Speaker 2: it's so.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Brutal, but it's very brutal, and it's but it's so.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Hem yeah, and so quick that it's just like yo,
- 38:37Speaker 2: this is and then so well shot, so well edited.
- 38:42Speaker 2: You know, it's a lot of different shots. It's like
- 38:44Speaker 2: not jerky can but it's like quick cuts, but if
- 38:47Speaker 2: well shot and well edited where you could follow all
- 38:49Speaker 2: the action and didn't, like, I say, the brutality of it,
- 38:53Speaker 2: how that man dropped that man on his head and
- 38:56Speaker 2: you hear that next snapping and then Matt streaming and
- 39:01Speaker 2: rage and frustration.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Knowing that you know, you gotta let the animal out.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah, like the animals out or I seriously injured two cops.
- 39:12Speaker 2: There's no coming back from this.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I thought he killed that second nigga because he like
- 39:16Speaker 1: he dropped and he threw him in the fridge for
- 39:18Speaker 1: the fourth time.
- 39:19Speaker 2: He flipped that man over.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that next said, you know, folding chair and it.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Was done, and that man, I mean the second fridge hit,
- 39:28Speaker 2: he was sleep already. You know, he was already sleep
- 39:30Speaker 2: from the first. So it's like that's a full on
- 39:33Speaker 2: no defense. You know that will kill you alone. And
- 39:37Speaker 2: then yeah said folding chair your neck like, nah, bro,
- 39:41Speaker 2: it's a rap.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I know show successful because I'm at the screen yelling.
- 39:45Speaker 1: I said, Matt no.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Yeah, he said you hit him enough, Matt, you.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Hit him, and that at the first time, I said
- 39:51Speaker 1: you hit him enough, Matt. No, he's still going. I said, Matt,
- 39:54Speaker 1: you don't kill him. Matt, you feel kill.
- 39:58Speaker 2: That man said, you know you don't want to do this.
- 40:00Speaker 3: He has no choice you. And that's the other part
- 40:03Speaker 3: when you force someone's hand. They forced him, force him
- 40:10Speaker 3: to go back to, as they call him, vigilanteism. You
- 40:12Speaker 3: forced this on him because you wanted to be fucking twelve.
- 40:17Speaker 3: You wanted to do twelve ship with your twelve friends.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Here we are, jay At, there's a jigger law for everything.
- 40:23Speaker 2: You're gonna make me turn back to the old me.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Like I ain't a killer, but don't push me. I
- 40:29Speaker 3: mean any come on, listen. I had a question for
- 40:32Speaker 3: you when when Wilson and friends was in the traffic
- 40:39Speaker 3: and he was like, what the fuck is the problem?
- 40:41Speaker 3: They was like, oh, there's a hole in the in
- 40:42Speaker 3: the street, and he jumped out and he went to
- 40:44Speaker 3: go look at investigator hole.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Is that from the incident that happened in mc U
- 40:49Speaker 1: with Spider Man?
- 40:51Speaker 3: That? And I'm not to say like this hole looks familiar,
- 40:54Speaker 3: but just the way the broken, the way it was
- 40:56Speaker 3: broken on that particular highway, freeway, raised elevated roadway, it
- 41:02Speaker 3: looked very much like an incident occurred there that we
- 41:07Speaker 3: had seen in either a show or a movie. And
- 41:11Speaker 3: I wanted to connect it to something Spider Man related
- 41:13Speaker 3: because Spider Man is in this universe. I don't know
- 41:16Speaker 3: which version, but Spider Man is in this universe. I
- 41:18Speaker 3: think it's a time Ola version.
- 41:19Speaker 2: But no, okay, now there I can I didn't want
- 41:22Speaker 2: to say this in the spoiler free review, but I
- 41:23Speaker 2: can't tell you exactly where where Darede Were Born Again
- 41:27Speaker 2: is taking place there? That were Born Again? Well, I
- 41:31Speaker 2: and then I remind me that I have a question
- 41:33Speaker 2: for you. There that We're Born Again is taking place
- 41:35Speaker 2: sometime after the blip, because at one point. We see
- 41:42Speaker 2: the Broadway ad for the Captain America play for the music,
- 41:47Speaker 2: which for the musical. Yep, so you saw that. Yeah,
- 41:52Speaker 2: you see the yellow because I remember it being yellow
- 41:55Speaker 2: and black writing. And the ad is not that, Zach.
- 41:58Speaker 2: It's not that it doesn't say Captain Musical. It says
- 42:01Speaker 2: the musical that defines all the great moments of our times,
- 42:05Speaker 2: and that's Captain America the musical.
- 42:08Speaker 3: And this is this is just be this could be
- 42:10Speaker 3: a reach, but you know, musicals go, especially good ones,
- 42:13Speaker 3: going forever, likeway for twenty years.
- 42:16Speaker 2: This is either Hawkeye, which is recent or present day
- 42:20Speaker 2: because remember Hawkins of Place when right before or after
- 42:25Speaker 2: No Way Home. So it's all, you know, like very
- 42:28Speaker 2: up to date. This is like right now in Marvel time.
- 42:31Speaker 2: And like I said, I think it's right now, you know.
- 42:34Speaker 2: I think Wilson Fish is becoming the mayor and somewhere
- 42:37Speaker 2: Tom Hollind's like, Yo, what the fuck you know? And
- 42:39Speaker 2: nobody knows who I am. I can't. That's where I
- 42:42Speaker 2: think we're at right now.
- 42:43Speaker 3: Even so, if that's the case, I still think this
- 42:45Speaker 3: might be something connected to an actual incident to we
- 42:48Speaker 3: saw else because the way that that could be no
- 42:51Speaker 3: way home.
- 42:52Speaker 1: It looked like an impact hole it did. It looked like,
- 42:54Speaker 1: you know, it looked like damage.
- 42:56Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 42:57Speaker 1: It wasn't like that's not the type of hole that
- 42:58Speaker 1: would occur in normal and tear with cars. You know what.
- 43:02Speaker 1: It wasn't even a sinkhole. It was someone punched Superman punched.
- 43:05Speaker 3: The nigga down, or you know, did a a Superhero
- 43:09Speaker 3: landing like it was something It looked familiar.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Some of those you know weird YouTube channels, you know,
- 43:15Speaker 2: are gonna be like, you know, fIF the Easter.
- 43:17Speaker 3: Eggs and you know, I'm sure they're going to measure
- 43:19Speaker 3: the diameter of the hole and say, well, you know,
- 43:21Speaker 3: this has the angel outline of somebody.
- 43:23Speaker 1: But I'm telling you it's related to something we seen
- 43:26Speaker 1: in the MCU. Something's telling me.
- 43:28Speaker 2: All right now. My question for you is, and we
- 43:30Speaker 2: talked about this before, and now that Wilson is running
- 43:33Speaker 2: or is mayor look, I either need to hear about
- 43:37Speaker 2: Luke Cage or I need to see Luke Cage in
- 43:40Speaker 2: this set.
- 43:40Speaker 1: They did go to Harlem, yes Spanish alum, but they
- 43:43Speaker 1: did go to Harlem.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I need to hear what is Luke's reaction to
- 43:48Speaker 2: all this, I need to see it. I'd like to
- 43:50Speaker 2: see my girl chess, you know, I'd like to see
- 43:53Speaker 2: that too. We need to definitely need to see Luke
- 43:56Speaker 2: up in here, because it's like Wilson becoming you know,
- 43:59Speaker 2: May and Luke being the godfather of Harlem right now, right,
- 44:04Speaker 2: I need to see some you know, interaction and reaction. Now,
- 44:08Speaker 2: another thing that we talked about before, but we gotta
- 44:11Speaker 2: bring up up again. If a man Kamar playing the
- 44:14Speaker 2: white Tiger just one of, like I say, one of
- 44:19Speaker 2: my favorite obscure Marvel characters. I guess that's how.
- 44:24Speaker 1: An amulet. He is dead ass about this Amulet.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Tell me, okay, let me tell you, because in the
- 44:30Speaker 2: comics is so ill right one, he's the white Tiger
- 44:32Speaker 2: in his costume back in the that they might have
- 44:34Speaker 2: changed it, but it was I saw what they're doing
- 44:36Speaker 2: here because it has like more black tiger stripes. It
- 44:40Speaker 2: was just white. It looked like the black panther, but white,
- 44:43Speaker 2: you know. And I guess he had a little tiger ears.
- 44:45Speaker 2: It's kind of like the panther ears, but it was fire.
- 44:48Speaker 2: And then to compliment the costume, he had the white joint,
- 44:52Speaker 2: but the suit only appeared when he put on the amulet.
- 44:55Speaker 2: And the amulet and the cost in the comics was
- 44:58Speaker 2: a green jade tiger head and two green jade tiger paws.
- 45:03Speaker 2: So it looks so sick, you know what I mean.
- 45:05Speaker 2: He had this white suit with this green jade tiger
- 45:09Speaker 2: head and the two paws, you know, hanging.
- 45:11Speaker 1: From the powers.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I guess, like what an ambulet do? Oh? It gave
- 45:17Speaker 2: him like super Strang super and Jody all that ship.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Like my man's a badass, you know, Like I think
- 45:22Speaker 2: in a hand in hand he is giving it to Daredevil,
- 45:24Speaker 2: you know, wearing the amulet because he is like you know,
- 45:27Speaker 2: Steve Rogers, I think level of you know, well, I
- 45:30Speaker 2: don't know about that because but like when you saw
- 45:33Speaker 2: him whooping ass in that you know, convenience store, he
- 45:35Speaker 2: was putting him negs down, you know, work he was,
- 45:38Speaker 2: But he ain't kicking people across the room like Steve Rogers.
- 45:42Speaker 1: It's not superhuman.
- 45:43Speaker 2: It's just it's is it?
- 45:45Speaker 3: Because man said it a thousand he said like two
- 45:47Speaker 3: three times about.
- 45:48Speaker 1: This amulet, and I'm.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Saying that's really different. Like I don't know what level
- 45:52Speaker 2: they're going to here. I don't know if he is
- 45:54Speaker 2: in disbelief or in belief, but it's different when he
- 45:58Speaker 2: has you know that ambulet on in the comments, it
- 46:01Speaker 2: was like, especially when he had all three, because I
- 46:03Speaker 2: think like at one point one person at a paulm
- 46:06Speaker 2: you know, it was like, you know, three different people
- 46:08Speaker 2: were using it. But then when he got it and
- 46:10Speaker 2: had all three connected and became the White Tiger, he
- 46:12Speaker 2: was different.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Ambulance, not cold for like crack cocaine.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Crazy cold for like delusion. Even in the trailer, I
- 46:21Speaker 2: think we've seen you know, ded Evil and White Tiger
- 46:23Speaker 2: scrabbling up so and that seems inevitable at some point
- 46:27Speaker 2: in absolutely yeah, so I'm open it's not you know,
- 46:31Speaker 2: because I think my man gonna be wilding another little thing,
- 46:35Speaker 2: you know, you know, we want to talk, you know,
- 46:36Speaker 2: like we're gonna do. The YouTube said you might have missed.
- 46:39Speaker 2: When Dar Devil is putting the kabash on the two cops,
- 46:43Speaker 2: we see a punisher tattoo on the cops left.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Arm, as he is the one that got served the worst,
- 46:50Speaker 1: the one that got the worst.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Now I do know, at least in real life, cops
- 46:55Speaker 3: to try to punisher, which I know, the creators, fucking I.
- 47:00Speaker 2: Can't believe that Marvel, you know, did this move because
- 47:04Speaker 2: Marvel has been like since this happened, since this phenomenon,
- 47:09Speaker 2: you know, became widespread knowledge and stuff, Marvel has done
- 47:13Speaker 2: their best in the comics at least to change the
- 47:16Speaker 2: Punisher completely. Like they murdered him and had him became
- 47:20Speaker 2: Franken Castle, you know, like Frank you know, the Punisher
- 47:23Speaker 2: and Franken Castle, and then they had him become an angel,
- 47:28Speaker 2: like you know, gave him like ghostwriter type shit going on,
- 47:31Speaker 2: and then he became I think he went to space
- 47:35Speaker 2: at some point, and then they murdered Frank Castle, I
- 47:39Speaker 2: think at one point, you know, after he murdered him,
- 47:41Speaker 2: frankin sign, but like really murdered him and tried to
- 47:44Speaker 2: bring in another new character who's like the Punisher but
- 47:47Speaker 2: has powers is different. I don't know if it's working,
- 47:50Speaker 2: but they're doing everything they can in the comments to
- 47:54Speaker 2: you know, make it. Oh, they made him the Leader
- 47:56Speaker 2: of the Hand, so he was like a ninja Punisher
- 47:59Speaker 2: like anything to distance himself from the street level dude
- 48:02Speaker 2: who goes around murdering criminals, right, because now the cops
- 48:06Speaker 2: are going around murdering criminal or you know, alleged criminals
- 48:10Speaker 2: for the most part, murdering civilian. Quote, yeah, I mean
- 48:14Speaker 2: crime a little bit, pretty more civilians than you know,
- 48:16Speaker 2: like most Danes, I mean pretty much anyone. Yeah, let's
- 48:19Speaker 2: keep it real.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Yeah, but the fact that is like in real life,
- 48:23Speaker 3: like to you to your point, the fact that Marvel's
- 48:25Speaker 3: doing this, it's like, yeah, this is happening in real.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Life, Making like this is happening in real life and
- 48:30Speaker 2: making it pointed, you know, a pointed like no, and
- 48:35Speaker 2: this has happened in real life, and we're going to
- 48:37Speaker 2: lean into the fact that it's happened in real life
- 48:39Speaker 2: and make it part of the storyline. Is wild. To me.
- 48:42Speaker 2: It's a definitely white man running this show because they
- 48:44Speaker 2: letting them do all kinds of shit.
- 48:46Speaker 3: And then what happens when John Berenthal Punishers actually does
- 48:49Speaker 3: show well, because he is showing up in this series,
- 48:51Speaker 3: when he actually does show up, and then he sees
- 48:53Speaker 3: these corrupt you know twelve Well.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Isn't his name in vain?
- 48:57Speaker 2: Since we see this tattoos probably on other cops. Well,
- 49:01Speaker 2: if you know this man hadn't to drop bodied, you know,
- 49:04Speaker 2: John would do the body so yeah, you know, no, no,
- 49:07Speaker 2: Frank is not gonna show up and be like, hey,
- 49:09Speaker 2: these are my dudes.
- 49:10Speaker 3: No, no, no, I know that's what I'm saying. What's
- 49:12Speaker 3: what's he about to say? Name in vein, Like, who
- 49:14Speaker 3: the fuck are you?
- 49:14Speaker 2: Why a you know, hot ones, hot pockets? Baby? You
- 49:17Speaker 2: know what? Top of it is like this, you know,
- 49:19Speaker 2: this is the Punisher. You know, one of my favorite
- 49:22Speaker 2: scenes in that first uh Dead of A series and
- 49:25Speaker 2: when he came up off that chair and grabbed that
- 49:28Speaker 2: shotgun and shot the dude to the right without even looking.
- 49:31Speaker 2: It's like, oh my god, that's the Punisher. Like, my
- 49:34Speaker 2: favorite Punisher is a pretty much a psychotic man, you know,
- 49:38Speaker 2: like he does not know right from wrong at this point.
- 49:41Speaker 2: He just out here murdering for fun pretty much.
- 49:44Speaker 3: You know.
- 49:44Speaker 2: It's like there's a Garthenders wrote a brilliant, I mean
- 49:48Speaker 2: absolutely brilliant Punisher run and in the middle of it,
- 49:52Speaker 2: it's wild Punishers in the middle of this firefight and
- 49:55Speaker 2: he's narrating, you know, his thoughts in the firefight and
- 49:58Speaker 2: he's talking about this dreamy ad where he was just
- 50:01Speaker 2: killing everyone. You know, he was like, I couldn't tell
- 50:04Speaker 2: the difference anymore. And then this is like the end
- 50:07Speaker 2: of the issue and he's like, and now I can't
- 50:09Speaker 2: tell if I'm awake or dreaming, you know. And that
- 50:11Speaker 2: was like the end of the issue, and it was
- 50:12Speaker 2: like cold, just hold as fuck, And that, you know,
- 50:16Speaker 2: is the essence of who this man is to me, Like,
- 50:19Speaker 2: he is not a character to be idolized any of
- 50:22Speaker 2: that type of shit. He is a man who went
- 50:25Speaker 2: through severe trauma and he is taking it out on
- 50:27Speaker 2: the world, you know. And that's like I think John
- 50:32Speaker 2: you know, is an actor who captures that rage and
- 50:34Speaker 2: all that so well. But no, like this is like
- 50:38Speaker 2: the example of In the Dark Knight Rises when he's like, no,
- 50:42Speaker 2: I'm not the one wearing hockey pads, you know, when
- 50:45Speaker 2: he fights the Batman impersonators in the beginning of it,
- 50:48Speaker 2: and you know they're wearing hockey pads, cause the dude's like,
- 50:51Speaker 2: what's the difference between me and you? I'm not wearing
- 50:54Speaker 2: hockey pads, you know. So it's like when Punisher sees
- 50:57Speaker 2: these cops seemed to be like, y'all niggas thinking all meat,
- 51:00Speaker 2: no character, young niggas, wife and kids weren't killed, you blow,
- 51:07Speaker 2: you know, like that's the type of ship that is
- 51:08Speaker 2: for him. Like you know, you dare think you're mocking me. Yeah,
- 51:12Speaker 2: you're mocking me. You're making a joke of this. Black
- 51:15Speaker 2: bullets are all y'all, you know, hot pockets. Yeah. I
- 51:21Speaker 2: can't wait to see. But like you know, he ain't
- 51:23Speaker 2: got to worry about those two That was.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Two scrubs down to dream.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Matter, you know. Five.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I am.
- 51:36Speaker 3: I am really interested to see because they've already done
- 51:39Speaker 3: a great job of continuing what we've already seen for
- 51:42Speaker 3: the first last three seasons of dar Devil integrated stuff
- 51:47Speaker 3: from Echo, Like everything that has happened previously matters.
- 51:50Speaker 1: You know, it's something that that.
- 51:52Speaker 2: That Norvel other than bulls Eye, you know, you know,
- 51:55Speaker 2: getting his ass did from here to.
- 51:57Speaker 1: High that everything everything I seen matter.
- 52:00Speaker 2: So I don't know how that mean. It was even
- 52:02Speaker 2: a wait for that first fight, you know.
- 52:04Speaker 3: So like what other ghosts are gonna come back? What
- 52:07Speaker 3: other things are gonna come up? Like how what are
- 52:10Speaker 3: the consequences moving forward?
- 52:12Speaker 2: Right?
- 52:13Speaker 3: That's what I'm like interested in seeing how they're gonna
- 52:16Speaker 3: handle that because I'm all in at this point, Like
- 52:20Speaker 3: there's nothing you can do to like turn me away
- 52:22Speaker 3: from this shit at this point, like there, there's there's
- 52:24Speaker 3: nothing you can probably tell me either. I'd be like,
- 52:26Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to see this through to the end
- 52:28Speaker 3: because the shit is insane. They are insane to where
- 52:31Speaker 3: they're going with this.
- 52:33Speaker 2: They bodied foggy. I cannot believe it, bro, I can't
- 52:39Speaker 2: believe that. That random internet commentary was like how they
- 52:44Speaker 2: and you got your wish? I shout out to you, bruh,
- 52:49Speaker 2: and tell me what numbers the fit? Because wow, man,
- 52:53Speaker 2: that shit.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Was like, know what he's gonna do, He's gona see it.
- 52:55Speaker 1: He'd be like, Oh, they don't have to do it.
- 52:56Speaker 2: Like that, know that, Like he's gonna be so tight.
- 52:59Speaker 2: That person isn't about to be so tight, ah, because
- 53:04Speaker 2: he's like I never liked them anyway it out. I mean,
- 53:06Speaker 2: think of like I said from the comments, I never
- 53:09Speaker 2: really cared. You know, I was definitely a Karen fan,
- 53:11Speaker 2: and you know then I'm definitely a Deborah Woolf Wold fan,
- 53:15Speaker 2: so you know there was no way. But I like
- 53:19Speaker 2: Funky on the show, you know what I mean. I
- 53:22Speaker 2: can't lie.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I didn't mind him. I thought he was fine. I
- 53:24Speaker 1: have no I have no death wishes for him.
- 53:26Speaker 2: So it was just like, you know, my man, who's
- 53:29Speaker 2: wonder woman. Yeah, but you know what I'm talking about her,
- 53:33Speaker 2: you know her booth. I hate the movies now and
- 53:35Speaker 2: I hated him, but you know, like in the first film,
- 53:38Speaker 2: he made me like him. Chris what's his name? Made
- 53:40Speaker 2: me like him, you know, because the.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Other Chris, the other Chris, the fourth most best Chris, Third,
- 53:45Speaker 1: Chris Pine.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Chris Pine fourth, You're gonna put Pratt above him?
- 53:50Speaker 1: No, there's another Chris above him.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Like, I don't even know another Chris the name I'm
- 53:53Speaker 3: trying to think of, but there's definitely another Chris above Pratt.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Pratt is dead last.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so so something Chris Evans, Chris.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Evans probably first. Pine is probably like fourth, third, I'm
- 54:05Speaker 1: sorry he's third.
- 54:06Speaker 3: There's only it's gonna be another there's a thousand Christis
- 54:08Speaker 3: in the World's gonna be another Chris.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Any fucking Chris. Then then Pine, then Pratt.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Is like and eighth, Like it's that I feel you,
- 54:22Speaker 2: all right, I feel you? So yeah, he made me
- 54:25Speaker 2: like him and now he got bodied, so you know whatever.
- 54:29Speaker 3: Moving on, I want to give animal mentioned to Michael
- 54:32Speaker 3: Gaston he's the actor name. He played the commissioner. He
- 54:36Speaker 3: plays the commissioner. And the way he fucking did Wilson,
- 54:43Speaker 3: like the way he read him for fucking filth and
- 54:46Speaker 3: basically call him the street rat and that ship I
- 54:49Speaker 3: was fucking on the.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Floor or that sent me so bad when I was
- 54:54Speaker 1: just like he was and he was.
- 54:55Speaker 3: Just like the fuck you're doing here, Like it's just
- 54:58Speaker 3: so New York though this like he don't give a
- 55:01Speaker 3: fuck and just oh my god. I just when I
- 55:04Speaker 3: say the whole cat and Mouse came not just with
- 55:06Speaker 3: Murdoch but with everybody. Everyone's it's like, you know, I hate.
- 55:10Speaker 1: This nigga Wilson, you know.
- 55:11Speaker 3: And and the way that they're just going to like
- 55:14Speaker 3: try to resist in their own little ways in the
- 55:16Speaker 3: way Wilson is gonna.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Make them pay for it. That's the other part. Like geez, geez,
- 55:21Speaker 1: this ship is this shit isn't the same. I'm loving it.
- 55:24Speaker 2: That's the other part. Because Bullson got played in that
- 55:27Speaker 2: scene and got read for Philth and then he immediately
- 55:29Speaker 2: told him. I was like, how do you like, what
- 55:31Speaker 2: are you trying to say?
- 55:31Speaker 1: Homeboy life had a love child. He's like, oh, like
- 55:35Speaker 1: he said that's a secret son, right, he did something
- 55:36Speaker 1: some Drake ship and.
- 55:38Speaker 2: I body that little nigga too, and you know, just
- 55:43Speaker 2: like Foggy nigga, anyone can catch it. Yeah, I don't
- 55:49Speaker 2: think he had nothing to do with Bulls coming through though.
- 55:51Speaker 2: I think Bulls I was just on that, you know.
- 55:53Speaker 3: No, No, I believe him, That's what I'm saying, because.
- 55:58Speaker 1: That's also not Wilson.
- 56:00Speaker 2: He is on.
- 56:01Speaker 3: That's not Wilson's style. Wilson will come down there and
- 56:04Speaker 3: strangle you his damn self if he.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Feels that Aggie you walk in the room and that
- 56:08Speaker 2: niggas just like nigga.
- 56:11Speaker 3: No, I believe Wilson when he said he had nothing
- 56:13Speaker 3: to do with that, and also if he was lying
- 56:16Speaker 3: Murdoch with a new Matt with a new right away,
- 56:18Speaker 3: like he can he can read people, right, he can
- 56:20Speaker 3: hear the heartbeat.
- 56:21Speaker 1: You know, he's a walking not almost a teleprompter the
- 56:24Speaker 1: telegraph and what's that called a lot of textive.
- 56:32Speaker 2: Prophet And nigga will tell you what to save work
- 56:35Speaker 2: a lot of a.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Polygraph.
- 56:38Speaker 2: I said, yeah, he don't even tell you what to say,
- 56:42Speaker 2: that nigga, because you don't even say much. And she
- 56:44Speaker 2: was like, and it is over, and the cops went
- 56:49Speaker 2: out quietly. Bro he was like, no, I mean my
- 56:57Speaker 2: man did spring when he snapped that arm. And then
- 56:59Speaker 2: he was like shut up. You know you didn't give
- 57:03Speaker 2: time to cry about it.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Man, if they bring back Blue Cage or mentioned.
- 57:10Speaker 3: But listen, if they're gonna do that, are they gonna
- 57:12Speaker 3: mention Jessica Jones or are they gonna mention you have
- 57:14Speaker 3: to Are they gonna mention Iron Fist?
- 57:16Speaker 1: Are they gonna mention they don't know the dragon?
- 57:26Speaker 2: Oh my god? Really they don't have to. The Rain
- 57:36Speaker 2: Corporation can get mentioned, you know, and then keep them
- 57:39Speaker 2: moving thing like like like rots On, you know what
- 57:43Speaker 2: I mean, like Ran and rots On and a buy
- 57:45Speaker 2: out something, you know, and yeah that's but like you know,
- 57:50Speaker 2: my the new iron Fish shorty, so you know they
- 57:53Speaker 2: could bring her through. Look, we're gonna get more than
- 57:56Speaker 2: one season of this. There is no reason that you know,
- 57:58Speaker 2: eventually we don't get all these casts back.
- 58:02Speaker 1: And I'll even say niggas though I could do without
- 58:04Speaker 1: Iron Fist Hallway.
- 58:07Speaker 2: Look, you know what, fuck it because that man like
- 58:10Speaker 2: ten years at this point.
- 58:12Speaker 3: If he why so you could just be annoyed for
- 58:14Speaker 3: it for the twenty twenty five and beyond.
- 58:17Speaker 2: No watch though, you know it would be crazy, like
- 58:20Speaker 2: remember was it Ozzy Osbourne's son? Remember, and that nigga
- 58:24Speaker 2: win and learned how to kit box and like got
- 58:26Speaker 2: cut up. You know what if young Iron Fist come back,
- 58:29Speaker 2: you know it isn't ten years nigga, Like, how about.
- 58:31Speaker 1: He come back and they fade him like they did Foggy?
- 58:36Speaker 2: Why not out of here? I wouldn't do the second
- 58:41Speaker 2: season unless we had Iron Fist evolved.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Don't make me be a rider. Oh, bring it back.
- 58:51Speaker 2: That'd be so great that the strum mulder said that, Like,
- 58:55Speaker 2: you know what, I wasn't a greed of the second
- 58:57Speaker 2: season until they said I could bring back Iron Fist. Wow,
- 59:01Speaker 2: you know That's what I'm saying. And then they body
- 59:02Speaker 2: him round. They said about Foggy. He really I was
- 59:06Speaker 2: reading that article the other day. This man said I
- 59:09Speaker 2: would I was going to quit if I could not
- 59:12Speaker 2: bring back Foggy and Karen and this nigga bodied him
- 59:16Speaker 2: in the first ten minutes.
- 59:17Speaker 3: Well, again, we've only seen the first two episodes. We
- 59:19Speaker 3: don't know in what capacity he got bodied. Well we
- 59:22Speaker 3: know he got bodied, but we don't know what capacity
- 59:25Speaker 3: they're gonna use his character.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Like you said, maybe you get a flashback. I think
- 59:28Speaker 1: I doubt it very highly.
- 59:29Speaker 2: But you know what I do too, there ain't much
- 59:32Speaker 2: time that we need to see.
- 59:34Speaker 1: It's just like I'm.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Like, no, I don't think we get a flashback at all.
- 59:41Speaker 2: I think this, you know, moving on.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Of anything else.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Man, it s lit this fire.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Marvel at least Marble TV Marvel back.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Yeah, they bat Boy, you know, like winterso I mean whatever,
- 59:58Speaker 2: you know, Captain America for was you know, it was there,
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: you know, and now we're here, you know, we eating,
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: We're eating right now, we're eating head into the summer.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: You know, Fantastic four is looking up, you know what
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: I mean, things is looking up right now. So you know,
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: I'm hyped for Superman too. But Marvel eating boy, Marve
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: eating mm who? When DC coming out with a show
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: a peace Maker season two, is that the next joint
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: for them? I don't know. I want to see some
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: I want to see some you know, some new ship
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: from them right now. I don't want to see what
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: they're doing. But is this, I mean, I guess this
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: ain't new ship either. So peace Maker season two bringing off.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: But yeah, they're double season two me, season four whatever.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Born again. Oh that is one fuck up thing I
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: want to mention real quick. I heard that the original
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: show runner ain't getting no cake because they changed his
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: whose name to Debo born again?
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I've heard of that.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: Like that's the tactic that you know, shows use or
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: publishers or whatever you want to call these used to
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: try to like.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Yeah, because they don't have to pay them royalties anymore
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: because it's not season four if there, it's now their
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: double board again.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: Yeah, which is fucked up because if if all of
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: that what you say, like he doesn't get anything, is true,
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: then that's fucked up because this is because of him
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: that all this even exists.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Yeah, Like they're living, you know, working on the shoulders
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: of giants, eating off the shoulders of giants, shout out
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: to them hopefully. I mean they're still working, they're doing
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: other things. But yeah, that's fucked up. You know, like
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: a lot of practices you know with these corporate on
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: characters are definitely extremely fucked up. But you know they
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: did this. You know the people who came into this,
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: and I know it's some of the original team, the
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: new showrunner. I'm not sure they were the show runner,
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: but they definitely worked on their double before, so you know,
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: salute to them, salute to everybody involved in this. Will
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: definitely be back to release schedule or this is weird.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: It's like the first two dropped obviously together, and then
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: the nets three are one, two, three weekly. Uh, and
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: then I think they dropped two more together after that,
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: and then there's three more left after that, and they
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: ever set the schedule for that. That's weird.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: I mean weird, like how friendly neighbor here Spider Man
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: was weird in their drop schedule.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: So I wonder if they're just trying to time it
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: to something like it's time.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: What people are saying is because they want to get
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: them all out by the time and or drops in
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: mid April.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Oh for Star Wars. Yeah, you know, they're just trying
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: to save room for Star Wars.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Yeah, man, because and Ord's that big and I'm not
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: that big, but they want it to be.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: You know, I just didn't think like.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: They were like something Marvel, they would cannibalize anything Star
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Wars related.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: Well, it's all on Disney plus true.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Oh, they want that, they want all which is so
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: odd you want all the traffic being driven for one
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: thing at one time, like.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Because they don't have enough yet. You know, they ain't
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Netflix where they're like they want you well, because.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: They're forcing these one things at a time approach, Like true,
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: why not have this have the network popping where there's
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: like ten things to watch at once?
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: But whatever, because then you become Apple.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: No you don't.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Well, maybe you've never not been Apple, because does Disney
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Plus really advertise like that? Yeah, they advertise, they shows.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: Apple do not advertise they do.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: See No, there's a seventh commercial.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Right now, and okay, yes this season sevens. Tell me
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: when the last time you've seen an Apple commercial?
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: Nigga, I don't know nothing on Apple besides Apple Plus,
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Apple TV plus so I got for Severance. I didn't
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: know anything on there.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Like, No, they're about to advertise for that new seth rog,
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: they go spit some money in that office.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: But I might even gonna put them in the box
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: of Apple TV because them niggas don't don't promote everything.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: This nigga got a different strategy, you know. But we're
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: gonna be here. I think we're gonna Yeah, I'm pretty
