- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie. It is time for us to
- 0:03Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always I invite
- 0:05Speaker 1: you to join along with me in prayer. You know,
- 0:08Speaker 1: sometimes life just happens and it absolutely breaks your heart.
- 0:13Speaker 1: So today I want to pray for the broken hearted,
- 0:15Speaker 1: Heavenly Father. Today we lift up every broken heart before you. Lord.
- 0:20Speaker 1: You are close to the broken hearted, and you know
- 0:22Speaker 1: the pain that people carry behind closed doors. Some hearts
- 0:26Speaker 1: are broken because of divorce or separation. Some are grieving
- 0:30Speaker 1: the death of a spouse, a child, a parent, a sibling,
- 0:33Speaker 1: or dear friend. Some are hurting because of betrayal, infidelity, rejection, abandonment,
- 0:40Speaker 1: or a relationship that ended unexpectedly. Some are heartbroken because
- 0:45Speaker 1: of a wayward child, a strained relationship with a parent,
- 0:48Speaker 1: family conflict, or watching someone they love make destructive choices.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Sam are carrying the pain of friendship betrayal, being lied on,
- 0:57Speaker 1: talked about, misunderstood, or suddenly discarded by someone they trusted. Father.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Some hearts are broken because of job lost, financial hardship, disappointment, failure,
- 1:09Speaker 1: infertility or unexpected diagnosis, dreams that didn't come true, doors
- 1:15Speaker 1: that close, their prayers that seem unanswered. Some are grieving
- 1:19Speaker 1: the loss of what they thought their life would look like.
- 1:22Speaker 1: And Lord, some people don't even have words for the pain.
- 1:26Speaker 1: But you know, you see every tear, You know every
- 1:30Speaker 1: sleepless night. You know the conversations they keep replaying in
- 1:34Speaker 1: their minds. You know the questions they have asked. Why
- 1:38Speaker 1: this happened, Why did they leave? Why didn't they choose me?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Why didn't you stop it? How am I going to
- 1:46Speaker 1: get through this? Father, Today we enter into spiritual warfare
- 1:50Speaker 1: on behalf of the broken hearted. We declare that the
- 1:53Speaker 1: enemy will not use our pain to destroy us. He
- 1:57Speaker 1: will not turn our disappointment into despair. He will not
- 2:00Speaker 1: turn our heart break into bitterness. He will not convince
- 2:04Speaker 1: us that because someone broke our heart, our lives are
- 2:07Speaker 1: broken beyond repair. In the name of Jesus, we come
- 2:10Speaker 1: against every spirit of hopelessness, depression, fear, rejection, bitterness, shame,
- 2:16Speaker 1: and condemnation that's tried to attach itself to wounded hearts. Lord,
- 2:21Speaker 1: break the power of every lie that says you'll never
- 2:24Speaker 1: love again, you'll never trust again, you'll never recover, your
- 2:28Speaker 1: best days are behind you. We reject those lies. Father,
- 2:33Speaker 1: remind us that what broke us does not have the
- 2:36Speaker 1: authority to define us. What we lost does not determine
- 2:40Speaker 1: what you can still give us. What someone did to us,
- 2:44Speaker 1: does thou cancel what you have called us to become.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Heal us, Lord, Hell, the places we don't talk about, Hell,
- 2:51Speaker 1: the wounds we've hidden, Hell, the memories that still hurt, Hell,
- 2:54Speaker 1: the disappointments that changed us. Heal the rejection that damaged
- 2:58Speaker 1: our confidence. Hell, the greed that comes in ways, and Father,
- 3:02Speaker 1: where we cannot repair it, teach us to release it.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Where we cannot change the past, give us grace to
- 3:08Speaker 1: surrender it. Where we cannot get an explanation, give us
- 3:13Speaker 1: peace without one. Today we declare our hearts may be broken,
- 3:18Speaker 1: but we are not defeated. We may have cried, but
- 3:21Speaker 1: we will laugh again. We may have been disappointed, but
- 3:24Speaker 1: we will hope again. We may have been rejected, but
- 3:26Speaker 1: we are still chosen by God. We may have lost something,
- 3:30Speaker 1: but we have not lost our God. We may be wounded,
- 3:34Speaker 1: but we are being healed. We may be weary, but
- 3:37Speaker 1: we will rise again. The enemy will not have the
- 3:41Speaker 1: final word over our lives. Father, restore our joy, Restore
- 3:45Speaker 1: our confidence, Restore our ability to dream. Restore our ability
- 3:49Speaker 1: to trust. You give us beauty for ashes and joy
- 3:52Speaker 1: for mourning. And Lord, when our hearts attempted to look backward,
- 3:57Speaker 1: remind us that you are still writing our story. There
- 4:00Speaker 1: are chapters ahead that we've never read. There are blessings
- 4:04Speaker 1: we never experienced, their prayers we've not yet seen answered.
- 4:10Speaker 1: So today we surrender our broken hearts into your hands. Men,
- 4:13Speaker 1: what is broken, heal what is wounded, restore what can
- 4:17Speaker 1: be restored, and give us the courage to move forward.
- 4:21Speaker 1: When you say it's time, we declare that heartbreak will
- 4:24Speaker 1: not be our ending. Healing is coming, Peace is coming,
- 4:27Speaker 1: joy is coming, Restoration is coming. And whatever you choose
- 4:31Speaker 1: to do, we trust your God in the mighty healing, restoring.
- 4:34Speaker 1: In Victoria's name of Jesus Amen,
