- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hello, I am in gorgeous California. Emily is in gorgeous
- 0:30Speaker 2: snowy Maryland. And uh, hobbadat to you and your snow, Emily,
- 0:34Speaker 2: and also hobbadat to those of you who are in
- 0:37Speaker 2: the winter season and snowfall storm of twenty twenty six.
- 0:41Speaker 2: How's it going reporting from Maryland? Emily?
- 0:44Speaker 1: It's okay.
- 0:46Speaker 3: It's not a pleasurable snow, I will say, because it's
- 0:49Speaker 3: like an inch of ice on top. So you're walking
- 0:54Speaker 3: and then like you think it's stable, and then like
- 0:57Speaker 3: you're falling through you're falling through the ice, I mean yeah,
- 1:01Speaker 3: and then it's a lot of snow underneath, and you're
- 1:04Speaker 3: going to get your shoes stuck. That boot's gonna slide
- 1:07Speaker 3: right off, and then you're dealing with sock on snow,
- 1:10Speaker 3: a lot of sock sock on snow.
- 1:12Speaker 2: How would that? I mean, Maryland, You can't. You don't
- 1:15Speaker 2: mess around in Maryland. Now, tell me why aren't your
- 1:18Speaker 2: boots like.
- 1:19Speaker 3: More for walking on ice snow?
- 1:22Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:22Speaker 2: Like, what are we doing with our boots? What? What
- 1:24Speaker 2: kind of bullshit?
- 1:26Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:26Speaker 2: Ragtag boot? Are we wearing? Over there.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Well some and I'm not gonna say the brand, but
- 1:33Speaker 3: I'm going to say I don't want to get them
- 1:35Speaker 3: in trouble. But let's say the brand is called Nephew's boots.
- 1:39Speaker 3: They're my nephew's boots.
- 1:41Speaker 2: You're wearing your nephew's boots.
- 1:46Speaker 3: I can't deal with this shit. It's like wearing hand
- 1:49Speaker 3: me downs and it's not gonna fit and it's gonna
- 1:53Speaker 3: suck in the snow. And that's where I am.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Okay, let me just I just want to be a
- 1:56Speaker 2: little more realistic for you. So like, for example, when
- 1:59Speaker 2: I go to my parents' house in Michigan, I leave
- 2:02Speaker 2: my winter coat there. I leave, you know, things of
- 2:06Speaker 2: that nature at the place point of purchase. I leave
- 2:10Speaker 2: it there because of the elements. Right, May I ask
- 2:13Speaker 2: why on earth you haven't left a decent pair of boots,
- 2:17Speaker 2: maybe some gloves, a coat.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Yes, okay, let's I have all of that here except
- 2:24Speaker 3: for the boots, because I at some point the boots
- 2:28Speaker 3: that were left here my niece wore because she outgrew
- 2:33Speaker 3: her boots, and those boots I don't know where they
- 2:37Speaker 3: are anymore.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Oh, okay, now we're getting down to it. I mean
- 2:44Speaker 2: it threw them out and they didn't know you were
- 2:47Speaker 2: using them. Okay, okay, well we have the reason. Can
- 2:53Speaker 2: you please put your relatives on the line please, I'd
- 2:55Speaker 2: like to have a word with you.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Yes, everybody come downstairs.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Well, Emily, Emily, I'm glad you're staying warm and kind
- 3:06Speaker 2: of I'm cold too, just so you know, because our
- 3:08Speaker 2: heat is not working again and I don't know what's
- 3:12Speaker 2: gonna happen there, Maryland, Emily, shall we please get into
- 3:17Speaker 2: what we're going to talk about today, which is Potomac
- 3:20Speaker 2: finale and Below deck Men finale two finales. Can you
- 3:25Speaker 2: believe it?
- 3:27Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:27Speaker 3: Fuck it, let's go disgusting?
- 3:31Speaker 2: Yeah, the whole episode. I kind of want Marylynd Emily
- 3:34Speaker 2: did it?
- 3:34Speaker 4: Wait?
- 3:34Speaker 2: Marilyn, Emily, are you staying warm? Like? Is the snow
- 3:38Speaker 2: pissing you off? Or? I? I mean, how are you
- 3:40Speaker 2: holding up?
- 3:42Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:42Speaker 3: I'm wearing my cousin's starter jacket, his old Oriel starter jacket,
- 3:47Speaker 3: and it's got a busted side, so it's scott fluff
- 3:51Speaker 3: coming out the side. But you know it's good. It's
- 3:55Speaker 3: probably worth something.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:59Speaker 2: You Maybe we shoul look it up on eBay. And
- 4:01Speaker 2: see or do you do you usually just go to
- 4:03Speaker 2: a local pawn shop. You got you seem more like
- 4:05Speaker 2: a pawn shop kind of gal am I right on that.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll do it on Uh, I'll go down to
- 4:12Speaker 3: we sell gold and they'll sometimes take an old starter
- 4:15Speaker 3: if they want to. And then also I'll post it
- 4:19Speaker 3: in the Cecil Wegg. What that's that's the local newspaper,
- 4:25Speaker 3: the cecil Wegg.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Wow, swig what I thought you were talking about? Cecil
- 4:32Speaker 2: like a cecil rug, you know, from pop Starn or something. No,
- 4:37Speaker 2: you don't know what that is though, do you?
- 4:43Speaker 3: It's now Cecil Daily, But you know I'll post. I'll
- 4:47Speaker 3: post in there too.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Do you get some bites from for your things? I
- 4:51Speaker 2: would imagine you've got a lot of good wears.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Oh fuck, I got the car Heart Car Heart suit
- 5:01Speaker 3: you zip zip it up. I got one of those
- 5:03Speaker 3: for fucking forty three dollars. Wow, that thing's worth that
- 5:09Speaker 3: things worth two hundred dollars.
- 5:11Speaker 2: No it is, No, that's amazing. Did it fit.
- 5:16Speaker 4: It will?
- 5:17Speaker 3: I'm losing Look at me, I'm losing weight. I'm looking good.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I'm keeping up with my New Year's resolutions.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Marilyn Emily, you look fantastic. I mean you always are
- 5:29Speaker 2: popping with those looks of yours, so don't even get
- 5:31Speaker 2: it twisted. Also, I love Marilyn Emily your red lip
- 5:34Speaker 2: today it is just simply gorgeous.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Well, thank you, it's avon, uh it splurged. Let's go
- 5:48Speaker 3: to Pajomack.
- 5:50Speaker 2: No, thank you. I'd rather stay right here for two
- 5:54Speaker 2: solid hours like part one in part two of Just
- 5:59Speaker 2: at Marylynd Emily in January of twenty twenty six, like
- 6:03Speaker 2: just enduring the hardships of the weather, and like what
- 6:07Speaker 2: are you selling? What are you buying? Like that's sorry?
- 6:12Speaker 2: So maybe maybe we just do a spinoff podcast full
- 6:17Speaker 2: podcast Marylynd em.
- 6:20Speaker 3: For me and Marilyn Kelly out there, Kelly. One of
- 6:24Speaker 3: the darlings is Marilynd Kelly.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Marilyn Kelly can be a guest. Yes, okay, all right, fine,
- 6:34Speaker 2: if you're gonna make me talk about that, I will.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I'm kidding, I'm joking. I mean, okay, Well, let's talk
- 6:42Speaker 2: about Below Deck Made first, Okay, are you a gill
- 6:45Speaker 2: S guilty? I know I wanna do Below Deck Mad
- 6:47Speaker 2: first because I feel like I feel like there's like
- 6:51Speaker 2: more to talk about like, I feel like in Potomac,
- 6:53Speaker 2: like there's more to talk about. So I feel like
- 6:56Speaker 2: we should say that for last. So this podcast is
- 7:01Speaker 2: already so whack. Okay, So I here's what I'm here
- 7:07Speaker 2: for for a below deck men. Nathan just first of all,
- 7:13Speaker 2: he's always ripping Max.
- 7:14Speaker 4: A new one.
- 7:15Speaker 2: You know, what was he saying last week that we
- 7:17Speaker 2: were laughing so hard about. He yelled at him, he said,
- 7:20Speaker 2: you cheeky fucking.
- 7:22Speaker 3: You cheeky fucking prick.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You cheeky, you cheeky fucking prick. I love it.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Now he's sweet about it. He's like, you cheeky fucking prick,
- 7:34Speaker 3: like he said it kind of under his friend.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like you don't mind it when he calls
- 7:41Speaker 2: you names because he also does it with a little
- 7:43Speaker 2: bit of softness and his accent lands nicely. So it's
- 7:48Speaker 2: maybe that's why Max doesn't take him seriously and doesn't
- 7:50Speaker 2: listen to him.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Well, he you can tell that Nathan still doesn't stand
- 7:55Speaker 3: in his leadership yet, so he doesn't take himself seriously.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right, got a great gud. You'd be a
- 8:03Speaker 2: great leader. The fact that you recognize that it's good,
- 8:06Speaker 2: you know.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Thank you Sandy.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Oh wait on, thank you, thank you.
- 8:16Speaker 2: But I love that he was now calling out Joe
- 8:19Speaker 2: for his behavior with Kizzy in front of v and
- 8:24Speaker 2: he's up on that bunk and he's like, you fucking
- 8:27Speaker 2: behave yourself. Oh, shut the fuck up, behave yourself when
- 8:31Speaker 2: it comes to a girl. I'm not going to fucking
- 8:33Speaker 2: stand for it. Wow.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Wow, Well did do you also catch at dinner when
- 8:40Speaker 3: Joe asked Nathan in front of Gail what he's doing
- 8:43Speaker 3: after the season, and there was a Joe put it
- 8:48Speaker 3: out there, like do you want to come do something
- 8:49Speaker 3: with me? Which is exactly how that prior charter or
- 8:52Speaker 3: that prior season with Gail ended, with Nathan and Joe
- 8:57Speaker 3: making all these posts plans to hang and be together
- 9:01Speaker 3: and Gail getting cut out of it. And I couldn't tell. Yeah,
- 9:05Speaker 3: I couldn't tell Joe's doing a bit because he but
- 9:08Speaker 3: like Nathan rejected it very hard in front of Gail.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, he, you know what, good because he had a
- 9:16Speaker 2: second chance to prove himself. He yes, I cannot believe. Okay,
- 9:21Speaker 2: can we please just talk about the ending?
- 9:23Speaker 4: Oh my god?
- 9:24Speaker 3: Yes.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Eleven months later, Okay, thank you, Judge. Eleven months later, croatia. Yay,
- 9:33Speaker 2: he can't find his wallet or whatever, sunglasses, and then
- 9:36Speaker 2: all of a sudden she comes out with the little
- 9:38Speaker 2: baby and they're like, I have a family. I know,
- 9:43Speaker 2: So they are together?
- 9:45Speaker 3: Oh I think Gail, Yeah, I think they're still together,
- 9:49Speaker 3: but I don't know about so I will.
- 9:51Speaker 2: We realized think Gail and the baby are together.
- 9:54Speaker 3: But yeah, what were you talking about. That's what I
- 9:57Speaker 3: was talking.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I know that's what it sounded like. You're gonna say, Well,
- 10:00Speaker 2: Gail and the baby are together, but Nathan's not there.
- 10:03Speaker 2: That's what I thought you were going to say.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I think they're going to be together for a minute anyway.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I mean, the only because their life they're living is
- 10:14Speaker 3: very hard. It is hard to stay together. Yeah, and
- 10:17Speaker 3: it's going to get harder because somebody's going to have
- 10:20Speaker 3: to stay with the baby obviously, and that might bring
- 10:23Speaker 3: on some resentment because they both really love their job
- 10:26Speaker 3: and love that lifestyle, right.
- 10:29Speaker 2: You know, I don't know how you incorporate a child
- 10:33Speaker 2: into that lifestyle because I know that their dream is
- 10:36Speaker 2: to like travel together and have their own charters and
- 10:39Speaker 2: things like that. So is it possible for them to
- 10:42Speaker 2: do that unless you're homeschooling your child. I mean that's
- 10:46Speaker 2: a whole different lifestyle. So I mean that would be
- 10:48Speaker 2: something that they would have to figure out. That would
- 10:50Speaker 2: be really hard. Yeah, and they could get land jobs,
- 10:54Speaker 2: you know, for the year, the school year, and then yeah,
- 10:59Speaker 2: could do all that for the summer months. I mean,
- 11:01Speaker 2: that could be something they could do. But that would
- 11:03Speaker 2: be But listen, here's the other thing. They also are
- 11:07Speaker 2: on a reality show, and it's very possible that they
- 11:11Speaker 2: could have some opportunity with Below Deck. They could have
- 11:16Speaker 2: the opportunity to always be employed on a Below Deck
- 11:20Speaker 2: series where like one is on this one and one
- 11:23Speaker 2: is on the other one, and then it's like that
- 11:25Speaker 2: would be really intense because you know that they have
- 11:29Speaker 2: a child at home and they're trying to have this relationship,
- 11:31Speaker 2: which makes their situation extremely unique. It's the first scenario
- 11:37Speaker 2: where we are very invested in these two people individually
- 11:43Speaker 2: and then of course together and them going through the
- 11:46Speaker 2: journey of being together, not being together, and then having
- 11:49Speaker 2: a child. It's not the first child to be born
- 11:51Speaker 2: out a Below Deck, however, it is the first relationship
- 11:55Speaker 2: that we've seen that we are fully invested in and
- 11:59Speaker 2: has been the most shown you know what I'm saying.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but the Caesar Cruel Mistress.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I can got those sirens calling, you know, I know,
- 12:10Speaker 2: Captain Glenn, Captain Captain Oh, Captain Glenn. Oh my god,
- 12:16Speaker 2: Captain Glenn.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I got sirens the Mermaids.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Wait, Maddie is like brilliant to sirens right now. Oh,
- 12:27Speaker 2: she's always like she used to be into Mermaids, you know,
- 12:29Speaker 2: as as children tend to be at some point, and
- 12:33Speaker 2: was in the Mermaids for a long time, and but
- 12:36Speaker 2: recently she's pivoting a little bit because sirens are kind
- 12:41Speaker 2: of like a little evil, you know, they're bad. So
- 12:44Speaker 2: that's what she's like. She's liking that edge.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Yeah, like the descendants. They need. Disney has to get
- 12:51Speaker 3: on that. They need to make mermaid Siren descendants.
- 12:55Speaker 2: So this whole Joe situation, and it is really I
- 13:01Speaker 2: think triggering to Nathan to see him, you know, misbehaving
- 13:05Speaker 2: so much and not learning from his mistakes, as Nathan
- 13:08Speaker 2: has now learned from his mistakes. It is definitely a
- 13:11Speaker 2: case of projection I think in some way where oh yeah,
- 13:16Speaker 2: not in a bad way, but it's still projection, is
- 13:19Speaker 2: it not.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I agree, I hadn't even thought about that,
- 13:22Speaker 3: but yeah, I think so. I think it's like the
- 13:24Speaker 3: if he can, the more mad he is at Joe.
- 13:28Speaker 3: That's also probably Nathan dealing with his own shit.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, for sure, because I mean I get it.
- 13:33Speaker 2: You know, they're pals, and I could understand from Joe's perspective,
- 13:37Speaker 2: like bros before hoes. Sorry, sorry, ladies, I apologize, but
- 13:41Speaker 2: we all know that it's you know, hose before bros.
- 13:45Speaker 2: You're welcome. But like, I think that that's obviously Joe's
- 13:48Speaker 2: mentality across the board. But I could see where he's like, Okay,
- 13:53Speaker 2: but you're also supposed to be my friend, you know,
- 13:55Speaker 2: can't you forgive me and like move on from this? Well,
- 13:59Speaker 2: you know, at some point, you know, I guess you
- 14:02Speaker 2: have to sort of choose your ethics and your morals,
- 14:06Speaker 2: and if you're the people that you are surrounding yourself with,
- 14:08Speaker 2: if they're not reflecting that on such a level that
- 14:11Speaker 2: you are so triggered by, I guess you do need
- 14:14Speaker 2: to put up your boundaries. And I don't think that's
- 14:16Speaker 2: necessarily a bad thing. Maybe they could be friends again
- 14:20Speaker 2: later in life, but right now, Joe is so reckless
- 14:24Speaker 2: and he's reckless with women in such a way that's
- 14:27Speaker 2: like it's really hurtful, you know, And I think that
- 14:31Speaker 2: that's what Nathan is clearly seeing.
- 14:34Speaker 3: And he's also an asshole to work with. I mean
- 14:36Speaker 3: that's the other part in terms of taking what Nathan
- 14:40Speaker 3: is saying to go, Like, he doesn't take what Nathan
- 14:43Speaker 3: says seriously in a leadership position. Yeah, and he's also
- 14:49Speaker 3: sidebarring with Max, which Nathan is sensing. So it's like,
- 14:53Speaker 3: on top of just being a douchebag, yeah to the gals,
- 14:58Speaker 3: he's also really hard to have work under you.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I mean, unless you're kissy, you get gago dooba ba.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I mean this when they go out for a crew
- 15:12Speaker 2: night out, and this is I think post no, I'm sorry. Yeah,
- 15:18Speaker 2: the crew night out is actually after v had even
- 15:22Speaker 2: seen Joe in the crew mess and she was like
- 15:25Speaker 2: making a comment to him about how it's in her
- 15:29Speaker 2: face and you're a boy, You're like an immature boy
- 15:32Speaker 2: and you're not a man, and you know, right, yesn't
- 15:35Speaker 2: that before they went out?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Yeah? I think so, But in my mind that the
- 15:38Speaker 3: crew night out was at the end, But then I
- 15:41Speaker 3: might be mixing my crew nights out I know it
- 15:44Speaker 3: doesn't matter.
- 15:45Speaker 2: He's still an asshole no matter which way you slice it.
- 15:48Speaker 2: But he goes out and he is like all over
- 15:51Speaker 2: kissy in the club, she's like licking his eyeball. Really disgusting,
- 15:55Speaker 2: to be honest with you, and quite frankly on unsanitary.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Yes, so would be kissing him. But you know whatever,
- 16:04Speaker 3: I think I'd rather lick his eyebrow than put like
- 16:07Speaker 3: eyebrows eye ball.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Well okay, that's what she was doing his eyeball.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's true. Okay, I still would rather.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I'd rather want to clean up shit in a shower. Okay. Oh,
- 16:24Speaker 2: by the way, some darlings popped into our private shadow
- 16:28Speaker 2: on Patreon. This is a theory that someone was douching
- 16:32Speaker 2: to get ready for the evening's activities, which makes so
- 16:38Speaker 2: much more sense.
- 16:39Speaker 3: And I got a DM that said they told the guests,
- 16:44Speaker 3: told the crew, hey, leave that room alone, don't clean
- 16:49Speaker 3: that And it was very quick in passing, and so
- 16:52Speaker 3: I'm wondering if that was on the Peacock version or
- 16:55Speaker 3: something and I just missed it, or it was so
- 16:57Speaker 3: fastened it but so so now I want to give
- 17:00Speaker 3: the guests a little bit of credit that they were
- 17:02Speaker 3: going to deal with it. However, when you open a
- 17:06Speaker 3: drain and shove it down, that's where you lose me.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I can't believe we have to talk about this again,
- 17:12Speaker 2: but yeah, we do have clarification there, So thank you, darlings.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I mean, that's what we're here for, that's what we
- 17:16Speaker 2: need to discuss, and I think it's important to clean
- 17:19Speaker 2: up that shit mess that we talked. Okay, that being sad,
- 17:23Speaker 2: I'm the when who brought that up to be yes,
- 17:26Speaker 2: eyeball licking, no cool, no good, no cool, no cool,
- 17:30Speaker 2: and no good, and out in the club. Out in
- 17:32Speaker 2: the club, he is completely flirting with her, She's flirting
- 17:36Speaker 2: with him, and even Asha's like, please just.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Just control sous.
- 17:45Speaker 2: To, like, you know, just relax, behave yourself. And they
- 17:51Speaker 2: yet in that car, ear in that van, and they
- 17:54Speaker 2: just make the hell out and I can't believe they
- 17:58Speaker 2: didn't go back to each other's rooms handed to him there.
- 18:02Speaker 3: I mean, Joe is wanting that, but Kissy was like, nope,
- 18:06Speaker 3: I'm done, thank you, which I was like, again, I can't.
- 18:10Speaker 3: I don't hate Kissy because she is what she is.
- 18:13Speaker 3: She's not trying to be something. She's not and she
- 18:16Speaker 3: was also like just saying that she wanted to kiss him,
- 18:19Speaker 3: and as soon as she kissed him, she was like lights.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Out light that common.
- 18:26Speaker 2: She should I mean, she did kiss him the other
- 18:29Speaker 2: remember they kissed him the deck. She should have been
- 18:31Speaker 2: done then, but I guess she just really wanted a
- 18:33Speaker 2: little more and then that was it.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Also her foot, Oh my god, yeah.
- 18:39Speaker 3: She was probably in a lot of pain.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that was another thing I thought. I kind of
- 18:44Speaker 2: laughed to myself like, hah, you guys can't like seal
- 18:46Speaker 2: the deal because she's injured. Sorry, sorry, And v on
- 18:55Speaker 2: the floating deck. I mean, I think that's what really
- 18:58Speaker 2: got Nathan to the point where he was like, I
- 19:00Speaker 2: can't handle this. To see he's a see woman on
- 19:04Speaker 2: the floating dick crying.
- 19:06Speaker 3: On the naughty boy? Is it called a naughty boy
- 19:09Speaker 3: or calling Joe a naughty boy?
- 19:11Speaker 2: That's a good question. I understand that question. I don't
- 19:16Speaker 2: know because he called a naughty boy.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it should be called the we should the Lisa
- 19:23Speaker 3: Barlow Memorial Deck is what we should.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, right, the floating Lisa.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Oh my god, he started calling at the Barlow. It
- 19:37Speaker 3: actually sounds like something that would be on a boat. Oh, hey,
- 19:42Speaker 3: that's you gotta hey, we gotta bring up the Barlows.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Oh I see, Yeah, it does sound like that. You're
- 19:47Speaker 2: saying we should call it the Barlow.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Yeah, let's start calling it the Barlow's.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Love it the Barlow.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Yeah, we had two Barlow platforms out there. We got
- 19:55Speaker 3: to pull one of the Barlows up these out crying
- 19:59Speaker 3: on the Barow.
- 20:01Speaker 2: God damn, that works so good, And yeah, we need
- 20:07Speaker 2: more Barlows. But the name Lisa also feels like it
- 20:10Speaker 2: could be used like, throw the Lisas out? How many
- 20:13Speaker 2: Lisas do you have?
- 20:14Speaker 4: No?
- 20:14Speaker 2: No, we're rolling out to Lisa's. Do to Lisa's. No,
- 20:19Speaker 2: that's one too many Lisa's. How many Lisas are we
- 20:22Speaker 2: from the doc? What about John? How many John's are we? Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 2: we've been your whole family. Vita's well start using all
- 20:34Speaker 2: the terms from her life.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Yeah, she's taken over the seas.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Yeah she is. Lisa is the siren of the seas.
- 20:44Speaker 2: With that crying, that that devastatingly empty sullen cry song.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Joan joan, Oh, oh gorgeous.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Say either sounds like Lisa Barlow crying or Asha really
- 21:13Speaker 3: excited about noodles.
- 21:16Speaker 2: You're right, it does have a little asia to it. Oh,
- 21:21Speaker 2: oh my god. Asha and Lisa as sirens now because
- 21:26Speaker 2: you're gonna get some bass from Barlows and Barlow bass,
- 21:30Speaker 2: and you're gonna get some soprano. Yeah, Lisa's alto and
- 21:33Speaker 2: asia soprano. Yeah, you're gonna get that.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Oh beautiful, just gorgeous.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Oh my sirens are calling. Ooh my baby, gorgeous sirens
- 21:51Speaker 2: are calling. All right, everybody, I'm going to bed now.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Like gigantic Margarita.
- 22:02Speaker 2: We thought we'd have nothing to talk about on this episode.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Emily eye again, your face okay? Chef plates, he's doing plated, yes,
- 22:14Speaker 2: And have we talked about his little his little gnome,
- 22:18Speaker 2: his no his little.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Goth creature, the doubt in his mind. I love it. Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 2: His interviews are so interesting because they really took some
- 22:30Speaker 2: creative liberties. Yeah, I'm sorry, I don't have the words.
- 22:35Speaker 2: I don't I don't know how much longer I'll be
- 22:39Speaker 2: able to podcast, to be honest with you, because it's
- 22:42Speaker 2: happening a lot. Yeah, they're really taking a lot of
- 22:45Speaker 2: liberties with Chef's interviews, you know, like a lot of
- 22:48Speaker 2: creative liberties. It's interesting. I mean the clown stuff I
- 22:52Speaker 2: think is overplayed and they're leaning into that too hard
- 22:55Speaker 2: to the point where it's like it's just a little
- 22:57Speaker 2: weird for me, Like I'm not enjoying it. I think
- 22:59Speaker 2: it's interesting, but I just think it's a little I
- 23:01Speaker 2: don't know, it's not my speed. I'm not like loving that.
- 23:04Speaker 3: I don't mind the clown thing. I found myself laughing
- 23:07Speaker 3: a lot at his uh Damian guy or the little
- 23:12Speaker 3: animated thing.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I like that, that's cute.
- 23:15Speaker 3: But the clown thing. I get what you're saying though.
- 23:17Speaker 3: It's like he mentioned it once and now we're committed
- 23:20Speaker 3: to seeing these cutaways.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's just like a little bit too much.
- 23:26Speaker 3: So clowns are too much.
- 23:30Speaker 2: And you know what, You've always said that.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I've always said it. I've always said that I don't
- 23:37Speaker 3: mind them doing something fun and trying something yea with it.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Do you think that's I agree with you there. That's
- 23:43Speaker 2: where I am like, Okay, I support this, you know,
- 23:46Speaker 2: And I like that they put the little goth character
- 23:48Speaker 2: in there, and that's cute. I think like chefs are
- 23:51Speaker 2: typically really crazy and angry and because they can't paint
- 23:55Speaker 2: that picture of him, and he's not giving that. They
- 23:58Speaker 2: have to make him kind of crazy and a little
- 24:01Speaker 2: strange and a little offbeat in one way. So that's
- 24:03Speaker 2: kind of like what they're doing to make up for it.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Yes, that is a great point. That is a great point.
- 24:10Speaker 2: There's no other drama with him except for playing Really.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Yeah, that is a great point. And I guess I
- 24:17Speaker 3: kind of like it was a unique We've talked about this,
- 24:21Speaker 3: but I did kind of like that this season.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but it shifted, thank god, because honestly, that's a
- 24:28Speaker 2: story that's been told too many times and it's it
- 24:32Speaker 2: can get really, really toxic. But I think really what
- 24:35Speaker 2: we have enjoyed is the drama that's happening within the
- 24:38Speaker 2: relationship of the crew, not necessarily the crew with the
- 24:42Speaker 2: chef or you know. I mean, I guess chef and
- 24:46Speaker 2: chief stew is always something. But I really do believe,
- 24:49Speaker 2: like we had touched on last week, that they didn't
- 24:52Speaker 2: give Asia a horrible maniac of a chef, because they
- 24:57Speaker 2: Asia is too beloved and she's too so sensitive, you know,
- 25:01Speaker 2: And I think that that's good that they didn't do that.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Whether they did it on purpose or not, I'm glad
- 25:05Speaker 2: it ended up this way.
- 25:06Speaker 3: I would put my money on. They saw Josh on
- 25:09Speaker 3: paper and they were like, this guy is gonna be
- 25:12Speaker 3: that shit crazy, right, and he wasn't.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Oh maybe that's it too, mm hmmm, Oh a clown.
- 25:20Speaker 3: He's lived in a nude colony. Let's have it. And
- 25:24Speaker 3: then it's like, hey, I'm the chill is Ever.
- 25:28Speaker 2: And the chill is Ever and I like, I love
- 25:31Speaker 2: family style so much because it brings people together, Like
- 25:34Speaker 2: that's his only fault and it's not even a fault,
- 25:37Speaker 2: I know. And it's funny that Max at the end,
- 25:43Speaker 2: even though he's not listening up until the very end,
- 25:45Speaker 2: he's crossing over these lines when they're docking and he's
- 25:49Speaker 2: still being, you know, very difficult in his job with
- 25:54Speaker 2: Nathan at the end meeting with Sandy, she's like, Max,
- 25:58Speaker 2: you're a new person.
- 26:00Speaker 3: You know.
- 26:00Speaker 2: It's like, Sandy, have you been paying attention?
- 26:03Speaker 4: You know?
- 26:03Speaker 3: Like, yeah, I did not understand why Max was getting
- 26:07Speaker 3: so much like credit there at the end. With Nathan too,
- 26:11Speaker 3: I'm like, guys, he almost killed multiple guests.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I don't think that Sandy actually knew what was going on.
- 26:18Speaker 2: If maybe she's just holding Nathan responsible for all this,
- 26:21Speaker 2: because she really did say, you know what, it was
- 26:25Speaker 2: a little tough for you at the beginning, and you're
- 26:26Speaker 2: finding your stride.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. I mean you would probably hire
- 26:32Speaker 3: Max again, I guess, but from what we saw, he
- 26:37Speaker 3: was making all the poor decisions on that, especially towards
- 26:41Speaker 3: the end when they fired everybody and he stayed.
- 26:44Speaker 2: What will happen with Max and Kathy?
- 26:48Speaker 3: They are raising Gaila Nathan's baby.
- 26:56Speaker 2: I'm doing it my way. I changed DRIPO this way.
- 26:58Speaker 2: What what's what's the problem? Let the baby dry, Max,
- 27:03Speaker 2: don't fucking do that, your cheeky little babysitter. Change the
- 27:07Speaker 2: diaper the way I told you to do it on
- 27:09Speaker 2: the ground. Do it on the ground. Don't get up
- 27:12Speaker 2: on the diaper table, you fucking idiot.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I mean, I think they're done, but if they get
- 27:21Speaker 3: put on another below deck cast, they're going to be
- 27:24Speaker 3: back together.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Sure, yeah, it's nice. It's nice. Well, I think that
- 27:30Speaker 2: wraps up that, So why don't we move on to
- 27:35Speaker 2: our next recap, which is Potomac.
- 27:38Speaker 4: What happened?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh hey, guys, don't mind me. I'm just sitting here
- 27:46Speaker 2: doing my podcast in my Orby Parker Brimmer glasses in
- 27:50Speaker 2: black walnut. Yeah, they're pretty cool. I love them. I'm
- 27:55Speaker 2: obsessed with them. Warby Parker, You guys, I think we
- 27:58Speaker 2: all know they are the best glasses. Their style choices,
- 28:02Speaker 2: their quality, nothing compares. Trust me, I know. I've been
- 28:06Speaker 2: in the glasses game for a long time and so
- 28:08Speaker 2: as my husband. So we've seen it. We've seen a lot,
- 28:11Speaker 2: and nothing compares or comes close on quality, price selection,
- 28:15Speaker 2: and customer service. You used to have to choose between flimsy,
- 28:18Speaker 2: outdated styles or spending half your paycheck. But guess what,
- 28:22Speaker 2: Warby Parker completely changed that. Their prescription lenses start at
- 28:26Speaker 2: ninety five dollars, so you can actually get quality and
- 28:30Speaker 2: stylish frames at an affordable price. You've got to get
- 28:33Speaker 2: good glasses, you guys. They're on your face every single day,

- 28:43Speaker 2: I love glasses, and people are leaning into them as
- 28:46Speaker 2: a style choice these days, so why not get the best.
- 28:50Speaker 2: I get tons of compliments and you can tell that
- 28:52Speaker 2: they're made with premium materials. And let me tell you
- 28:56Speaker 2: their virtual try on is a total game changer and
- 29:00Speaker 2: something that I was a little too obsessed with when
- 29:02Speaker 2: I went on their website. I'm scrolling, I'm scrolling, and
- 29:05Speaker 2: I see without even having to click on a specific
- 29:09Speaker 2: pair of glasses off the main page. It gives me
- 29:11Speaker 2: an option where it's like, oh, try on these glasses.
- 29:14Speaker 2: I click right there, Boom They're on my face. Boom,
- 29:16Speaker 2: They're on my face. So I keep looking at the
- 29:19Speaker 2: camera on my computer and I'm just trying on every
- 29:22Speaker 2: single pair of glasses on their website. Boy, I spent
- 29:25Speaker 2: some quality time there and it was a blast. Yes,
- 29:28Speaker 2: it took some screenshots, several and I sent them to
- 29:31Speaker 2: my friends and my husband and family members and maybe
- 29:34Speaker 2: some people that haven't heard from me in a while,
- 29:36Speaker 2: just to get their opinion on which ones I should get.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Well anyway, ended up with the Brimmers, But that's just
- 29:42Speaker 2: me anyway. And Warby Parker doesn't just offer incredible prescription glasses.
- 29:47Speaker 2: They have everything you need like contacts, online, eye exams,

- 31:24Speaker 2: and a lot of the times on the weekend I
- 31:26Speaker 2: like to do a hybrid, which is sativa that gets
- 31:29Speaker 2: me feeling uplifted and energized and creative, but chill with
- 31:34Speaker 2: the indica. The sativa that I like is called durban
- 31:38Speaker 2: zi Kittles. I don't even know if I'm saying that right,
- 31:40Speaker 2: durban skittles. Anyway, it's spelled zki ttl e z. It's
- 31:46Speaker 2: a vibrant sativa that enhands his focus and stimulates creativity

- 32:02Speaker 2: and I love the sour strawberry cookies. It's a balanced

- 32:40Speaker 2: them too. Yeah, Potomac ooh, drop a pin, baby, drop
- 33:00Speaker 2: a pin and follow it to the middle of nowhere,
- 33:04Speaker 2: because that is where angels fly fishing excursion is. Emily,
- 33:10Speaker 2: as much as she wasn't prepared, as much as this
- 33:14Speaker 2: was such a disaster, I felt so bad for her.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Oh my god, and to think that Giselle was in
- 33:27Speaker 2: fact trying to take over the trip. And the option
- 33:30Speaker 2: on the table was brunch at the Four Seasons in
- 33:33Speaker 2: the morning and head to the airport. And Angel was like, nope,
- 33:38Speaker 2: we have a schedule and here's the plan. We're going
- 33:41Speaker 2: to do fly fishing and then we're going to go
- 33:43Speaker 2: to the airport. The fact that they all decided to
- 33:47Speaker 2: do that. They are game players, they are team players.
- 33:52Speaker 2: They did it, by god, by golly, what a disaster.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Angels like, the whole thing, the idea that they had
- 34:03Speaker 3: to drive back to Angels to get their stuff and
- 34:09Speaker 3: then go to the Four Seasons. When k pointed out packing,
- 34:14Speaker 3: I was like, they're not going back there, Like that's crazy.
- 34:17Speaker 3: I would not, that is crazy.
- 34:19Speaker 2: The itinerary was insane, and that map and the countdown
- 34:25Speaker 2: to the airport. I broke out in hives multiple times,
- 34:31Speaker 2: but in also giggling to see their little bouncing heads
- 34:35Speaker 2: over the cars and then Angels car going past the
- 34:39Speaker 2: Excursion and then up into the middle of nowhere. Oh
- 34:44Speaker 2: my god.
- 34:44Speaker 4: It was so painful.
- 34:47Speaker 2: And I had to give it to Karna and Sia.
- 34:53Speaker 2: They had her back. They could have turned on her
- 34:56Speaker 2: at any point. Now. It wouldn't have done them any
- 34:59Speaker 2: good to do that, because you're stuck in a car,
- 35:01Speaker 2: So what are you going to do? Lose your temper
- 35:03Speaker 2: and then you're stuck with this person. No, you can
- 35:06Speaker 2: get mad at them later maybe, but like you're gonna
- 35:09Speaker 2: choose to stick in it in that moment, I think
- 35:11Speaker 2: is the better choice. But they genuinely seem to feel
- 35:16Speaker 2: bad for her to stick in there with her, despite
- 35:20Speaker 2: being scared, despite having to reverse back from the middle
- 35:24Speaker 2: of nowhere, and I can't believe that they did that.
- 35:28Speaker 2: I was very impressed with them.
- 35:31Speaker 3: That entire trip was so miserable to me because you're
- 35:35Speaker 3: just in a car the entire time, and Kay and
- 35:40Speaker 3: Tia were doing like the heaviest lifting of all.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yeah, because you like talk her down and be patient, yes,
- 35:50Speaker 2: And also right, this is so I had more of
- 35:54Speaker 2: a problem with Angel, way more of a problem with
- 35:57Speaker 2: Angel than you ever did, Okay, And I appreciate you
- 36:02Speaker 2: giving her the benefit of the doubt and so on
- 36:04Speaker 2: and so forth. But as much as I feel bad
- 36:07Speaker 2: for her prior to this trip, oh yeah, that's what
- 36:12Speaker 2: I'm saying, but now, I mean, even up until do
- 36:18Speaker 2: you know that, Like they're lost in the middle of
- 36:20Speaker 2: nowhere and the other two cars are at a gas
- 36:23Speaker 2: station and they're like, we're calling it, we're calling it,
- 36:27Speaker 2: We're going to get gas station Margarita's and we're heading
- 36:29Speaker 2: to the airport, like we're not going any further. That
- 36:32Speaker 2: Angel would actually have the nerve to say in that
- 36:36Speaker 2: moment to try and save face. Well, the excursion is
- 36:40Speaker 2: still there for you, ladies, if you want to go,
- 36:42Speaker 2: it's it's still available. The experiences. Are you kidding me?
- 36:48Speaker 2: You found you will not be found you. You're gone
- 36:53Speaker 2: like a helicopter. A search party is going to need
- 36:56Speaker 2: to find you. And you're encouraging these gals to go
- 36:59Speaker 2: to a that you don't even know exists. You don't
- 37:02Speaker 2: even know where it is. And so this is what
- 37:05Speaker 2: I'm talking about. She has stuck to her facade the
- 37:11Speaker 2: entire time, and I that's where I'm gonna have to
- 37:15Speaker 2: stand by what I originally said. There are I don't
- 37:19Speaker 2: even know if there's blatant lies being told, because I
- 37:21Speaker 2: don't really feel like it's like she's lying, but there are.
- 37:24Speaker 2: But but it is, it's like a it's a it's
- 37:28Speaker 2: a veil of lies. Where we go like do you
- 37:32Speaker 2: live in Potomac, Well, yeah, we're gonna buy a house,
- 37:35Speaker 2: but no, and then then this rental and then this
- 37:37Speaker 2: and that and then okay, now is this your house?
- 37:40Speaker 2: Well no, why can't we go to your house? Because
- 37:42Speaker 2: then we'll tell you later. It's complicated. Okay, So then
- 37:46Speaker 2: we're gonna go here, and then we're gonna go there,
- 37:47Speaker 2: and then this exists. We have a company, but we
- 37:49Speaker 2: but it's launching in twenty twenty six. I thought you
- 37:51Speaker 2: had a company, but we have this. Everything is not
- 37:57Speaker 2: on the up and up, so much so that she
- 38:00Speaker 2: has buried herself to the point where like even the
- 38:04Speaker 2: most empathetic person I feel like can't even have her
- 38:07Speaker 2: back in this. And I mean to the point where
- 38:09Speaker 2: I'm so I feel so bad for her that she's
- 38:12Speaker 2: like buried herself like this that I can't watch her
- 38:14Speaker 2: anymore because I feel too bad. I'm like, you have
- 38:17Speaker 2: like dug yourself a hole and we can't get out
- 38:20Speaker 2: of it. Like I can't believe that she would have
- 38:25Speaker 2: them go to a place that she's never even been to,
- 38:28Speaker 2: for one.
- 38:30Speaker 3: And not found it.
- 38:32Speaker 2: That Wi fi yeah, that's right. You're right that Wi
- 38:35Speaker 2: fi does not work in those areas, So you better
- 38:39Speaker 2: know where you're going before you go, you know what
- 38:41Speaker 2: I'm saying. The chef, the like, the catering, Yeah, they're
- 38:47Speaker 2: obviously they're familiar because they've been there before, so like
- 38:52Speaker 2: they know what they're doing.
- 38:53Speaker 3: And the production crew. The production crew found it because
- 38:57Speaker 3: they're filming, so somebody had the coordinates, like somebody knew
- 39:02Speaker 3: what they were doing. And my thought is that Angel
- 39:05Speaker 3: Angel was just like literally phoning it in and just
- 39:12Speaker 3: maybe not fully dedicated to like the details. And when
- 39:17Speaker 3: you're promoting your detailed travel company, God, it's like, man,
- 39:23Speaker 3: I don't know how you're gonna recover from this.
- 39:25Speaker 2: But there is no company, Emily. That's what I'm also
- 39:27Speaker 2: trying to say. There wasn't a company. There is no company.
- 39:32Speaker 2: It would have been nice if a company could have
- 39:33Speaker 2: been born out of this. But when you're saying you
- 39:37Speaker 2: have an outdoor you know, travel excursion business, but it
- 39:45Speaker 2: doesn't it's not actually launching until next year, it doesn't
- 39:49Speaker 2: actually exist. She was never really transparent about that. You know,
- 39:53Speaker 2: did it exist.
- 39:54Speaker 3: In Colorado and not in Potomac and that's where she
- 39:57Speaker 3: was launching. It's never launched.
- 40:00Speaker 2: She was never launching it in Potomac. It was always
- 40:03Speaker 2: her outdoor company was always in Colorado, only in Colorado.
- 40:08Speaker 2: That's all it was. So that's why I'm like, it
- 40:11Speaker 2: wasn't ever that, Like I think she was running an
- 40:13Speaker 2: Airbnb at best, okay best, or a rental property at
- 40:20Speaker 2: Best allegedly yeah, and then all she would do is
- 40:24Speaker 2: like refer people to these excursions. That's what I think
- 40:28Speaker 2: she like, Yeah, here, here's it's just like going to
- 40:32Speaker 2: a concierge at a hotel. Where are the best places
- 40:34Speaker 2: I can eat around here? What's there to do?
- 40:37Speaker 4: Oh? Go here?
- 40:38Speaker 2: Like that's all she was probably doing, and then all
- 40:40Speaker 2: of a sudden decided, Oh, this can be an outdoor
- 40:43Speaker 2: company where we host these types of things. We're doing it. Yeah,
- 40:48Speaker 2: we're doing it. And then it's like, no, you're actually not.
- 40:51Speaker 2: You don't even know where this fly fishing place is.
- 40:54Speaker 2: So I just stand by the fact that like she
- 40:57Speaker 2: didn't know. I can't even speak on it anymore because
- 41:00Speaker 2: I feel too uncomfortable in a way because it was
- 41:03Speaker 2: so uncomfortable and I can't believe this happened on a
- 41:06Speaker 2: housewives show. Like this is to the point where the
- 41:10Speaker 2: vetting of people has gotten so bad that like they
- 41:15Speaker 2: would end up in the middle of nowhere because they
- 41:19Speaker 2: somebody did not tell the full truth and wasn't fully prepared.
- 41:23Speaker 2: That pisses me off, Like, you know, this was practically
- 41:27Speaker 2: worse than the car to Hania trip from the Real
- 41:29Speaker 2: Housewives of New York. I mean like swords on the boat.
- 41:34Speaker 2: They were almost drowning because the anchor was pulling. You know,
- 41:38Speaker 2: this was puking. The cameras had to go down. It
- 41:43Speaker 2: was like that's the level.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Well because with Angel, well that was worse, I think.
- 41:50Speaker 3: But I do think Angel was driving that car, and
- 41:54Speaker 3: so there was a moment there where I was like, man,
- 41:56Speaker 3: production isn't with them. That car is camera, it's fitted
- 42:02Speaker 3: for cameras, and Angel is driving, and it's just three
- 42:04Speaker 3: of them in that car.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Yeah, why did they are like, let why was she driving?
- 42:11Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know if that was just
- 42:13Speaker 3: part of it. And I don't know why that luncheon
- 42:16Speaker 3: that she or that catering whatever that was, that excursion
- 42:20Speaker 3: she said was ten thousand dollars. There was just a lot.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Of things that I was ten thousand dollars. I'm really
- 42:28Speaker 2: worried about. I can't I forgot about that. There was
- 42:32Speaker 2: so much going on and I was in so much
- 42:34Speaker 2: shock that that ten thousand dollars thing just kind of
- 42:38Speaker 2: went by me, Like did I just see like Bigfoot? Okay,
- 42:42Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm just gonna keep going.
- 42:44Speaker 4: You know.
- 42:44Speaker 2: It was like that, Yeah, but I wonder. I'm so
- 42:50Speaker 2: curious if they would have if those other two cars
- 42:53Speaker 2: would have kept going, would they have found the excursion
- 42:56Speaker 2: with the drivers? Like, that's what I really want to know, if.
- 43:00Speaker 3: They're dealing with whatever pin Angel sent because she said
- 43:05Speaker 3: to Kay and uh wait, who's yeah, who's in?
- 43:11Speaker 4: Who's in? Ya?
- 43:12Speaker 3: And Kay Tia say thank you, so t and k
- 43:15Speaker 3: are there, and she said, we all looked at the
- 43:17Speaker 3: same pin I sent it to you, and it all
- 43:20Speaker 3: as though she was having them all GPS with her.
- 43:23Speaker 3: I would assume that one on the group thread and
- 43:26Speaker 3: they all had the same coordinance, and they're all going
- 43:30Speaker 3: to go to that same place. I will say, would
- 43:34Speaker 3: have turned into the greatest trip ever. If Giselle had
- 43:37Speaker 3: hit that mud road before, she would have.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Lost all right. I also like that Giselle was like,
- 43:45Speaker 2: Karen would have never survived this trip. She's in a
- 43:49Speaker 2: better place in jail. I was like, she's right, she
- 43:52Speaker 2: is absolutely one right Karen would have I don't know
- 43:56Speaker 2: what Karen would have done. She probably would have been
- 43:57Speaker 2: like put herself in his self and do his can
- 44:00Speaker 2: That's how bad it would have been for her. Like
- 44:02Speaker 2: I don't know, Yeah, I.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Think that, Like, honestly, I think the person that would
- 44:07Speaker 3: have handled it the worst is Gizelle.
- 44:09Speaker 2: And I wish whish, wish more. Yeah, worse than Karen.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Let's revisit. You're right, Yeah, I think Karen may have
- 44:18Speaker 2: actually not taken it as poorly this whole trip as
- 44:22Speaker 2: poorly as Gazelle has.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Yeah she would. Now if Gazelle had planned it, that
- 44:27Speaker 3: would be different. But if Karen would have ripped her
- 44:31Speaker 3: to shreds. But I think Karen would have been Yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 3: I don't know, that's a great I don't know what
- 44:38Speaker 3: Karen would have been. That's interesting to think about because
- 44:42Speaker 3: also I keep thinking, like we're dealing with a new
- 44:45Speaker 3: Karen now, but if it's season one Karen, I mean,
- 44:48Speaker 3: she just would not have gone.
- 44:50Speaker 2: I don't know, because think about like she's from a farm. Yeah,
- 44:55Speaker 2: I feel she may have been a little bit more flexible.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Yeah maybe, Oh no, I'm just really curious. Well now
- 45:03Speaker 2: she would be yeah yeah, yeah, Well in the end
- 45:07Speaker 2: we see that she's like leaving and now so next week, well,
- 45:11Speaker 2: actually I should say this Sunday Night is the interview
- 45:14Speaker 2: with Karen Huger and Andy Cohen.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and I totally I knew it was coming, but
- 45:21Speaker 3: I kind of forgot that it was happening because we
- 45:25Speaker 3: saw it in the trailer. But then when we started
- 45:27Speaker 3: to get the where are they now, I was like, okay,
- 45:30Speaker 3: well that's the season, and I was like, wait a second,
- 45:33Speaker 3: isn't there one more thing happening right right?
- 45:38Speaker 2: And then it's like Angels Angels end title was buying
- 45:43Speaker 2: a house for two million dollars in Potomac Yeah, okay, okay, sure, sure,
- 45:54Speaker 2: oh gosh.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Yeah, in overhead. That is why I feel like with her,
- 46:00Speaker 3: don't know what this season would have been without us
- 46:04Speaker 3: having to watch Angel, But yeah, I don't know if
- 46:09Speaker 3: she's right for a second season, but I'm saying we
- 46:11Speaker 3: should try it.
- 46:13Speaker 2: I was so fascinated with what was gonna happen in Colorado,
- 46:16Speaker 2: and then for the first episode, I was fascinated, like, Okay,
- 46:20Speaker 2: we're not even at her house and now they're out here.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Now they have no water, and like, this is such
- 46:23Speaker 2: a disaster. It was so fun to watch, like it
- 46:27Speaker 2: really was. It was housewives, you know, on Survivor or whatever,
- 46:30Speaker 2: like what are they gonna do? And then Giselle taking
- 46:34Speaker 2: control and all this stuff. And then I thought Okay,
- 46:37Speaker 2: well we got through that. Surely nothing worse could happen
- 46:42Speaker 2: at this point, and my god, did it get botched? Now?
- 46:46Speaker 2: Who dropped the pin? That's what I would like to
- 46:49Speaker 2: know at the reunion. Who dropped the pin? Was it production?
- 46:53Speaker 2: Was it catering?
- 46:55Speaker 4: Oh?
- 46:56Speaker 3: Where did she get the directions for?
- 46:58Speaker 4: Like?
- 46:59Speaker 3: Who said I heard this information? That's a good question.
- 47:02Speaker 2: It seems to me that there would have been not
- 47:06Speaker 2: a pin, but more of like a destination before you
- 47:11Speaker 2: go off onto that dirt road, like a like an
- 47:14Speaker 2: address that's close to the turnoff onto the road that
- 47:18Speaker 2: leads you to the campsite. Do you know what I'm saying?
- 47:21Speaker 2: Instead of a pin, so like you could have both.
- 47:23Speaker 2: You could have the closest gas station to that turnoff,
- 47:28Speaker 2: so you have a destination, an actual address that exists
- 47:31Speaker 2: on a map, so you that would be your stopping point.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Like once you get to the mobile on State Road
- 47:38Speaker 2: twenty two, in three miles, you're gonna see a dirt road,
- 47:44Speaker 2: and this is the pin for that dirt road. Like
- 47:47Speaker 2: that's the type of directions you need for these parts.
- 47:51Speaker 3: Yes, that gas station that the gals were at was
- 47:55Speaker 3: the Loaf and Jug, which I know that's I guess
- 47:59Speaker 3: it's a I've never heard of it, but I was like,
- 48:01Speaker 3: that's a great name.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Loaf and jug, loaf and jug. I love that.
- 48:06Speaker 3: A loaf of bread and jug of milk.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Well, when you say that, I think of cats. I
- 48:10Speaker 2: think a cat loafing and then a cat like jugging.
- 48:14Speaker 2: What does the jug look like? I don't know, like
- 48:16Speaker 2: maybe like I think handleb it's.
- 48:18Speaker 3: Head sesame street thing, loaf of bread, stick of butter.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Oh yeah, anyway, Oh my god, that's flashback. The caterers, though,
- 48:29Speaker 2: kind of made my day. They the steak's falling into
- 48:33Speaker 2: the grill ten thousand dollars though, right, No, I'm kidding.
- 48:39Speaker 2: The steak's falling into the grill. And he's no, do
- 48:42Speaker 2: you have like a do you have a black mit
- 48:43Speaker 2: or whatever? And Okay. The other woman who was like
- 48:47Speaker 2: helping with everything else was so calm and cool. I
- 48:50Speaker 2: really loved her vibe. And then when they called and
- 48:53Speaker 2: said that they were not coming, she was like, okay,
- 48:58Speaker 2: I did not see that coming.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Yeah, And the way it was edited, I thought Angel
- 49:05Speaker 3: when she called was saying not all of them were going,
- 49:08Speaker 3: And then it became when we see the other side
- 49:11Speaker 3: of the conversation that none of them are going.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Oh yeah, but when they see this episode, vy'll understand why.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it was poor planning because I can't like brunch
- 49:23Speaker 3: at the hotel and all that stuff they packed. That
- 49:27Speaker 3: is about all you can do the day you're leaving.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Exactly exactly when they were in that car driving even
- 49:33Speaker 2: an hour, I would have been like, we're turning around.
- 49:36Speaker 2: This doesn't feel right. We're never gonna make it back
- 49:40Speaker 2: in time. You're gonna tell me we're in a fly
- 49:42Speaker 2: fish and have food.
- 49:44Speaker 3: No way, Yeah, because you still got to deal with
- 49:47Speaker 3: driving in to the airport and oh my god, it's much.
- 49:53Speaker 2: They handled it way better than I think I would,
- 49:56Speaker 2: have to be honest with you, I think I would
- 49:57Speaker 2: have been a little batshit, Like definitely. I mean if
- 50:01Speaker 2: I was on a show and I was like, well,
- 50:02Speaker 2: maybe if it was my job, I would have been like,
- 50:04Speaker 2: all right, I guess I have to roll with this.
- 50:05Speaker 2: But if this was real life and I had to
- 50:09Speaker 2: get back to my regular life, I would be losing
- 50:12Speaker 2: my shit and I'd be like, get me out. I
- 50:14Speaker 2: am leaving right now. I'm panicking by oh yeah, yeah.
- 50:19Speaker 3: For sure. I even wondered did they send them that
- 50:22Speaker 3: pin the day before, because they seem to all be
- 50:24Speaker 3: getting that direction in real time as they were leaving,
- 50:29Speaker 3: and I was like, man, if I would have seen
- 50:31Speaker 3: that distance at the hotel, I'd have been like, I'm
- 50:35Speaker 3: not going anywhere.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I would have done the math immediately.
- 50:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:39Speaker 2: And you know what's interesting is that we did not
- 50:42Speaker 2: see them at the airport getting on those planes. I
- 50:46Speaker 2: wonder if they even made it. That's what I would
- 50:48Speaker 2: also like to know at the reunion, who dropped the pin?
- 50:52Speaker 2: I mean, who sent the pin? And did they make
- 50:55Speaker 2: it to their flights, because I have a feeling they
- 50:57Speaker 2: probably didn't. All right, let's talk about at the gas station,
- 51:00Speaker 2: because that's when things were really heating up with Stacy
- 51:04Speaker 2: after the car because Stacy and Jessie and Wendy are
- 51:09Speaker 2: all driving and they are basically bringing up the whole
- 51:13Speaker 2: wedding situation, and Jessie's really pissed off because she does
- 51:17Speaker 2: believe that Stacy was not going to go.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Wendy and Stacy brought it all up. Nobody was gonna
- 51:24Speaker 3: say anything, but Stacy's like, I have a problem that
- 51:27Speaker 3: I'm going to take the time to tell right now,
- 51:31Speaker 3: and I guess she was like, we're in the car
- 51:33Speaker 3: for hours, I'll go for it. But it backfired.
- 51:36Speaker 2: That recording thing is weird that I'd like to know about,
- 51:40Speaker 2: and jess seemed to really push it aside, like you're crazy,
- 51:45Speaker 2: that never happened. And I don't like that part because
- 51:48Speaker 2: that makes me think, well, who's telling the lie here?
- 51:50Speaker 2: Either you actually she actually did get busted for recording
- 51:53Speaker 2: her or she didn't like that's and it didn't seem
- 51:56Speaker 2: like Stacy was making that up. But Stacy has a
- 51:59Speaker 2: very interesting relationship with the truth as well. She is
- 52:03Speaker 2: living in a completely different world and she lies. She lies,
- 52:09Speaker 2: She she has been caught lying, she continues to be
- 52:13Speaker 2: caught lying. And then there are other times where I'm like, okay,
- 52:16Speaker 2: but Jessie, were you recording her? She's saying she saw
- 52:19Speaker 2: you recording her, and she asked you, why are you
- 52:22Speaker 2: recording me talking about our friend group? So that is
- 52:25Speaker 2: extremely sus Yeah.
- 52:28Speaker 3: Yeah. And the thing with Stacy is that, like I
- 52:31Speaker 3: don't count the Wendy Dinner thing as like or Timu
- 52:36Speaker 3: is going out of the country, like whatever that whole
- 52:39Speaker 3: thing was. I'm giving her a pass on that but yeah, yeah,
- 52:44Speaker 3: there's too many. There's a lot of bigger things that
- 52:46Speaker 3: then you have to fold that in. I think in
- 52:50Speaker 3: terms of Stacy trying to protect her image, if she
- 52:54Speaker 3: comes back for season three, I think it's gonna be
- 52:58Speaker 3: a like a hard and Stacy. I don't think that
- 53:02Speaker 3: she's gonna be trying to keep up the facade.
- 53:06Speaker 2: M So she's just gonna stand down two heels down
- 53:10Speaker 2: on her lies.
- 53:12Speaker 3: No, I don't think so, especially with Karen.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Back, What do you think she's gonna do.
- 53:18Speaker 3: I don't think it's the same Karen that's gonna live
- 53:20Speaker 3: in this fantasy land that she used to live in
- 53:23Speaker 3: with Stacy. And I think Karen's gonna call Stacy out
- 53:26Speaker 3: on herself. But I also think Stacy's gonna I mean,
- 53:29Speaker 3: we're seeing her slowly but surely realize she can't hide
- 53:32Speaker 3: a lot of this. So I think this next season
- 53:35Speaker 3: is going to be like Stacy out of her shell
- 53:39Speaker 3: a little.
- 53:40Speaker 2: I hope so. But she had to really be called out.
- 53:43Speaker 2: I mean, even Wendy, who we can't trust it all
- 53:46Speaker 2: right now, was speaking extreme truth. This is what I
- 53:50Speaker 2: don't understand about Wendy. It is so dumbfounding, to me
- 53:54Speaker 2: because when she shows this side of her, like at
- 53:58Speaker 2: the gas station and in the car, where she's like,
- 54:00Speaker 2: I don't play like that. You can play other people
- 54:03Speaker 2: like that, but I'm gonna call you out on your shit.
- 54:04Speaker 2: I don't play like I believe her so much. She
- 54:07Speaker 2: speaks with so much conviction. I'm completely on her side.
- 54:10Speaker 2: I love hearing her talk that way because she's speaking
- 54:13Speaker 2: on the account of truth, you know, and she sees
- 54:17Speaker 2: it like you can see that, she sees it clearly.
- 54:19Speaker 2: So she seems to me like a very trustable source.
- 54:24Speaker 2: So those are the moments that when she has stood
- 54:27Speaker 2: out in the past doing things like that here and there,
- 54:30Speaker 2: I love that Wendy when it's not for show, but
- 54:34Speaker 2: it's real, you know, And there are small glimpses of that,
- 54:38Speaker 2: and that's one of them. These two incidents are a
- 54:41Speaker 2: perfect example of that, where I'm like, yes, Wendy, like,
- 54:44Speaker 2: oh my god, I love you like I just I
- 54:46Speaker 2: love how her character. And so then when you try
- 54:50Speaker 2: to reconcile that with the scandal that's going on with
- 54:55Speaker 2: the money, is like the weirdest thing. She seems and
- 54:59Speaker 2: looks like two totally different people, two completely different people.
- 55:04Speaker 2: And I have the best.
- 55:05Speaker 3: House wives are the really the more dynamic that is
- 55:11Speaker 3: the people like that I find interesting. But Okay, you
- 55:16Speaker 3: were going to say you haven't seen it.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Go ahead, Oh yeah, I was gonna say, I'm processing
- 55:21Speaker 2: what you're saying because I'm like, is that true? But
- 55:23Speaker 2: with Wendy, she when we've said this a million times,
- 55:27Speaker 2: we never saw that coming with her. What happened with
- 55:31Speaker 2: the money situation? And then we're watching this season and
- 55:35Speaker 2: it's like Chanel, this Chanel that the mom is commenting.
- 55:39Speaker 2: We're seeing pictures of the house and how it's redone,
- 55:42Speaker 2: the budget, the amount of money she's spending on clothes
- 55:46Speaker 2: and accessories. Everything is a brand and whatever this fly
- 55:51Speaker 2: fishing outfit, she's got to be fly and we wouldn't
- 55:54Speaker 2: really bat an eyelash app but now we know that
- 55:57Speaker 2: they didn't actually have the money for that. But then
- 56:00Speaker 2: you get so there's that person which is like very housewify,
- 56:03Speaker 2: and then you've got a completely other person who's in
- 56:05Speaker 2: the car like I don't play, I don't play. I
- 56:07Speaker 2: will call you out on stuff, and it's so believable
- 56:10Speaker 2: to me, so like I just I cannot wrap my
- 56:13Speaker 2: head around it. She's the first housewife that actually has
- 56:15Speaker 2: me completely stumped. I don't know, I can't. She's there's
- 56:18Speaker 2: no other housewife like her. And I mean when we
- 56:21Speaker 2: talk about, like when we think about Teresa, and I
- 56:23Speaker 2: was like, well, I mean, yeah, we could have probably
- 56:25Speaker 2: seen that, Yeah we duri, Yeah, we probably could have
- 56:28Speaker 2: seen that coming. There's so many Erica, Like, there's so
- 56:31Speaker 2: many housewives where you think, Okay, I mean it's a
- 56:35Speaker 2: little surprising, but also not.
- 56:37Speaker 3: I would actually say Erica is maybe the closest because
- 56:41Speaker 3: Erica also, once she was exposed, went so hard on
- 56:46Speaker 3: the victims out of nowhere, and that felt wild. I
- 56:49Speaker 3: didn't I couldn't correct that in my head with her,
- 56:52Speaker 3: and I just yeah, there was like I don't understand
- 56:56Speaker 3: this character, Like if you was on if it was
- 56:58Speaker 3: on paper, it would make no sense. So like that
- 57:01Speaker 3: is kind of the same vibe with Wendy I get.
- 57:06Speaker 3: But I feel like with Wendy there must be some
- 57:09Speaker 3: kind of justification in terms of the legal stuff and
- 57:14Speaker 3: thinking like, well, that's just if we got away with
- 57:18Speaker 3: this insurance thing, then I guess that is how we
- 57:22Speaker 3: can get away with it, and that's how it works.
- 57:25Speaker 3: I can see the logic and the justifying in the
- 57:28Speaker 3: moment to think that it's right, not that she is right,
- 57:33Speaker 3: but I you know that is sometimes what happens in
- 57:36Speaker 3: these kinds of crimes is like I got away with it,
- 57:39Speaker 3: so I think it. I guess this is okay because
- 57:42Speaker 3: well you see it with her anyway, because like why
- 57:45Speaker 3: else would you be flawning your wealth this hard? If
- 57:48Speaker 3: you know, I just think like does she think that
- 57:51Speaker 3: this was good? And this is okay? And this is
- 57:53Speaker 3: how you can do this? Like it's just so crazy
- 57:58Speaker 3: to flaun it so hard?
- 57:59Speaker 2: I know. Oh and then like at Bravocan when she
- 58:02Speaker 2: was like, well I'm not going to speak on that
- 58:04Speaker 2: because you'll all basically like you will all see the truth.
- 58:07Speaker 2: You'll see the truth. The truth will come out and
- 58:08Speaker 2: all this suff It's like who are you. You can't
- 58:10Speaker 2: be the same person that's in this car going don't
- 58:13Speaker 2: do this, Stacy, Like you know what we talked about?
- 58:16Speaker 2: What are you talking about? And I know that this
- 58:19Speaker 2: may seem like a little thing to everybody, And maybe
- 58:20Speaker 2: I'm over probably thinking get off of this topic, like
- 58:24Speaker 2: move on. I still can't wrap my head around it.
- 58:27Speaker 2: It's like two different people and I've never seen it before,
- 58:28Speaker 2: but anyway, and I'm really bummed because like when I
- 58:31Speaker 2: see Wendy at the gas station calling out Stacy and
- 58:36Speaker 2: then being like gas station Margarita's that's must be what
- 58:38Speaker 2: it is, Like, I just love her and I love
- 58:40Speaker 2: those moments, and I'm just sad. So I'm in morning
- 58:43Speaker 2: about that. Well, the other thing is that Ashley, what
- 58:47Speaker 2: kind of game is she playing that she's in the
- 58:50Speaker 2: back of the car. Oh, I didn't tell you that.
- 58:51Speaker 2: I didn't tell you that, Monique that Chris, I asked
- 58:54Speaker 2: him if he was banging Stacy and he just like
- 58:56Speaker 2: started to drink something and was like, which means, yes,
- 59:00Speaker 2: you didn't tell me that. Oh I didn't you know
- 59:03Speaker 2: you didn't and why didn't you? What are you talking about?
- 59:08Speaker 2: She is very manipulative and very premeditative, and that doesn't
- 59:14Speaker 2: surprise me and it also doesn't bother me. So I'm
- 59:16Speaker 2: fine with that.
- 59:16Speaker 3: But like.
- 59:21Speaker 2: That was interesting, and I think, also Chris, something may
- 59:26Speaker 2: not have happened between the two of them at all,
- 59:28Speaker 2: and like maybe they kissed and they weren't like they
- 59:31Speaker 2: didn't actually date, which is why Stacy can say with
- 59:34Speaker 2: a clean conscience, we didn't date, Like they hung out
- 59:39Speaker 2: and maybe they kissed, but that was it. And like
- 59:41Speaker 2: Chris is just being a drama queen about it by
- 59:45Speaker 2: being like m because he's thirsty and he wants like
- 59:48Speaker 2: we know that now about him.
- 59:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think at the end of the day,
- 59:52Speaker 3: that whole storyline became what people holding the the knowledge
- 59:58Speaker 3: of it thought it was going to be.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: It's just because.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Monique doesn't care. I don't think she cares.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: She didn't care. And then this last thing happened with
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Ashley in the car and she seemed irritated and confused.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it was more the delivery of the message than anything.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: It wasn't like anything about like her ex and sad
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: being jealous or something like.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: That, right right. I did love when Keana was sticking
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: her butt out the window, and I was like, oh,
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: that is a really good hack, Like I never thought
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: about that. You know, I'm gonna remember that next time
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: I'm in the car and I feel something on myself,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I'm just gonna get up on all fours and stick
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: my ass out the window. Of course, Like why wouldn't
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: I think about that?
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: Duh?
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: I just loved And it's just like a total chaotic
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: lost experience and her just asses hanging out the window.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: So funny.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: I also like that driver getting in on it because
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: like you kind of forget that they have a driver
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: in the other their car and he's like getting in
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: on the fight.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Put a camera on the driver, by the way. So
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: at the end, when we get credits and get the titles,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: how about learning that Giselle lost the legal battle with
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: the step mom. Oh my god, Emily, I know that
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: is awful, freaking terrible.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: Because that really for her girls, I know, I know,
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: and she should be having those conversations with her mother.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: Not good.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Well, guys, that's it for Potomac and Below Deck Med,
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: so thank you for listening. What a great way to
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: wrap up to amazing shows of the finales and then
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: of course we've got Potomac reunion Below Deck Med. We'll
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: never hear from again. No, never again, which is fine. Oop,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: sorry to mean to hit that, but anyway. Put on
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: over to Peach brand dot com slash drama Darling for
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: more episodes, Salt Lake City coming up, Beverly Hills, Southern Charm,
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: you name it, we got it.
