A new AED station in Grand Marais, Minnesota, is a life-saving lifeline for a remote community with limited emergency access. Inspired by a young man’s near-fatal cardiac arrest, local nonprofit Arrowhead AED is placing these devices strategically across Cook County — because even healthy people can have sudden heart emergencies.
