Latest / The Brain’s Body Podcast: The Brain Is the Body / Think For Yourself
Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Think for yourself a human system science approach to brain talk and information processing.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: What if the true path to information processing begins with learning how to manage emotion, control thought, and process reflection?
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: In human system science, managing emotion relates to the energies of the brain, controlling thought relates to the actions of the body, and processing reflection relates to the feelings of the senses.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: To think for yourself is to understand how these three systems work together before experience becomes meaning, choice, and response.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: To think for yourself means developing a sense and feel for how information moves through the human system.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Emotion carries and affects the energies of the brain.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Thought influences and organizes the actions of the body.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Reflection impacts and processes the feelings of the senses.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: When these systems connect, lived experience becomes awareness, and awareness becomes an informed response to the flow of information.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: In relation to science and the scientific method, human system science becomes repeatable, confirmable, and verifiable when emotion, thought, and reflection are treated as observable human system processes.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Managing emotion can be observed through changes in the energies of the brain.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Controlling thought can be observed through changes in the actions of the body.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Processing reflection can be observed through changes in the feelings of the senses.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: When these steps are practiced, documented, compared, and repeated, lived experience becomes a form of information that can be studied as brain talk.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Brain talk refers to how the brain responds to feedback and how the brain talks back through energy, action, feeling, attention, memory, and response.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: In this sense, brain talk becomes observable when a person notices how information affects the brain, moves through the body, reaches the senses, and returns as awareness, meaning, and informed action.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: This message is adapted from the original brain talk book, Human Systems Science in the Best Interest of the Child's Mental Health and Self-Awareness, 2025, by Dr.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Slayton Live Tay The Brain Talker.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: For more, follow Brain Talk Books as a reference and resource for human systems science, brain talk, and information processing.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: The New Frontier in Brain Talk is here.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Talk to the child's brain, not to the child's body.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: The brain does that.
