- 2:23Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, we had so much business to discuss,
- 2:26Speaker 1: and now it's time for the gardner of this episode
- 2:29Speaker 1: for the content, and I'm so excited. This episode has
- 2:32Speaker 1: been a long time coming. We have been talking about
- 2:35Speaker 1: this episode. We have been plotting on this episode, gathering evidence,
- 2:39Speaker 1: like really planning it out because there's so much to say.
- 2:43Speaker 1: All right, y'all, So today we are going to be
- 2:46Speaker 1: discussing simps and reply guys. If you don't know what
- 2:51Speaker 1: a reply guy is, they are the person, the man
- 2:55Speaker 1: that is always in your d M s, applying to
- 2:58Speaker 1: every single story and every single tweet, no matter what
- 3:02Speaker 1: it is. Let them not be mistaken with creepy men
- 3:08Speaker 1: that are sending things because they're thirsting over you. Um,
- 3:12Speaker 1: there's no unsolicited dick picks involved, Like, let it be known.
- 3:17Speaker 1: The reply guys are kind of like the nice guys,
- 3:22Speaker 1: kind of because there's zero expectation of anything. They're not
- 3:28Speaker 1: expecting to take you out, they're not expecting you to
- 3:32Speaker 1: send them a nude or anything. They're just there in
- 3:35Speaker 1: the d M s applauding whatever move you make. Yeah,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and it's interesting because we're gonna get into the intricacies
- 3:42Speaker 1: of these two labels, the categories that overlap. There even
- 3:45Speaker 1: diagrams involved here. So that's generally speaking, a strict pure
- 3:51Speaker 1: reply guy is literally replying to everything, but a sim
- 3:55Speaker 1: right is someone who any of any gender or honestly,
- 4:00Speaker 1: because anybody can simp over anybody, Like truly, I'm definitely
- 4:05Speaker 1: a simp for like Rihanna Beyonce, Like the list goes
- 4:08Speaker 1: on and on, you know, so as simple as somebody
- 4:11Speaker 1: who puts somebody else, usually a woman of them, somebody
- 4:16Speaker 1: I would say, almost goddesslike in the simps Eyes on
- 4:20Speaker 1: a pedestal. The simp is somebody who's putting the object
- 4:24Speaker 1: of their affection on a pedestal, who is just like
- 4:27Speaker 1: head over heels and love, who wants to send gifts,
- 4:31Speaker 1: send money, send donations, send praise like in the d
- 4:35Speaker 1: m s. Practically writing sonnets, like naming parts of your
- 4:39Speaker 1: body based on you know, like how they feel about
- 4:43Speaker 1: you and your photos. Like these people really go on in,
- 4:47Speaker 1: go all in. They can be intense, They can be
- 4:49Speaker 1: extremely poetic. Sometimes it can be a little much. I
- 4:52Speaker 1: have had to block simps before because there's a there's
- 4:55Speaker 1: a line for me, especially with the married ones. This
- 4:59Speaker 1: is a The other thing we're going to talk about
- 5:01Speaker 1: is the way that the reply guys and the sims
- 5:04Speaker 1: are with us online and then how are they in
- 5:06Speaker 1: real life with the actual women and people in their lives, right,
- 5:10Speaker 1: So that's like a strict SIMP. And I would say
- 5:13Speaker 1: that not all reply guys are sims, and not all
- 5:16Speaker 1: sims are reply guys, but there are reply guys who
- 5:19Speaker 1: are sims, and there are sims who are also reply guys.
- 5:22Speaker 1: We are doing sociological research here, y'all, you've heard it
- 5:26Speaker 1: here first. I also want to point out that in
- 5:29Speaker 1: this episode we may be talking about specifically sis heterodman,
- 5:34Speaker 1: probably the first time we've ever done. In this episode,
- 5:36Speaker 1: I mean, in this entire podcast, however, we have been
- 5:39Speaker 1: actively thinking about, like, what is a gender neutral term
- 5:42Speaker 1: for a reply guy, because there are queer women that
- 5:45Speaker 1: are in the replies right that they like also like
- 5:49Speaker 1: are partaking in some type of goddess worship, right, So
- 5:52Speaker 1: we're still like thinking about what is a good name,
- 5:55Speaker 1: a fitting name, a positive name for the queer women
- 6:00Speaker 1: that are in the d ms that are always hyping
- 6:02Speaker 1: you up, right, Because we have those two and we
- 6:04Speaker 1: love them, we respect them, we thank them. So if
- 6:08Speaker 1: that's you, thank you. And I think too, there are
- 6:12Speaker 1: some reply people, reply guys, reply people simps in general.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Sometimes the sim thing is only in the d M
- 6:22Speaker 1: s are only you know, behind the scenes. Other times
- 6:25Speaker 1: there are reply people and simps who are in the
- 6:28Speaker 1: comments or who are you know tweeting at you? Okay, wait, okay, wait,
- 6:35Speaker 1: tell me Bosa the man who tweets at you and
- 6:38Speaker 1: says the man that tweets at says, I am obsessed
- 6:43Speaker 1: with you, like when you're holding tools every time, every
- 6:48Speaker 1: time I have I didn't even put this in my
- 6:51Speaker 1: in my notes for today. This is so true. Okay,
- 6:53Speaker 1: So there's this man that's in my comments like on
- 6:57Speaker 1: Instagram because I've been posting since you know, quarantine started,
- 7:01Speaker 1: the pandemic started. I've been doing a lot of home
- 7:03Speaker 1: renovation d I y things things I can do myself.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm not a professional, and so I like post little
- 7:09Speaker 1: videos with me like hammering shit of building things. Right,
- 7:12Speaker 1: built my bar car and um, he like is like,
- 7:16Speaker 1: can you come and fix my sink? And this was
- 7:18Speaker 1: the first comment that I saw, and I was like,
- 7:20Speaker 1: that's kind of weird, right, I'm like, why would I
- 7:22Speaker 1: fix your sink? And then I started tracking his comments
- 7:27Speaker 1: like more and more, and he like recently tweeted at
- 7:29Speaker 1: me because I said, I literally just tweeted I'm obsessed
- 7:32Speaker 1: with my dog, period, and his reply to that was
- 7:35Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with you holding tools, and so I'm like, oh,
- 7:38Speaker 1: this is the king, Like he likes to see beautiful
- 7:43Speaker 1: women holding tools and it's very phallic obviously. Um, but yeah,
- 7:49Speaker 1: that's like one of the one of the men in
- 7:51Speaker 1: the he and he's public like he never I don't
- 7:54Speaker 1: think he's ever deemed me or anything like that, but
- 7:57Speaker 1: he he's like, he's publicly commenting that he wants to
- 7:59Speaker 1: see me holding tools. Isn't that interesting? Because I feel
- 8:03Speaker 1: like there are some who like they'll do public and
- 8:06Speaker 1: DM there are some who are only public, and then
- 8:09Speaker 1: there are some who are only in the d M
- 8:11Speaker 1: s And it just depends on what they want, I guess,
- 8:13Speaker 1: or what their what is their goal, what is the desire?
- 8:17Speaker 1: The psychology of the reply guys, and it's a spectrum
- 8:20Speaker 1: of reply guy and simple reply people and SIMP. Like
- 8:23Speaker 1: the psychology behind it is truly fascinating because one of
- 8:27Speaker 1: the questions that we do discuss and that we ask
- 8:29Speaker 1: ourselves is like, what some of these like simps who
- 8:33Speaker 1: have been following us for years, like for years some
- 8:37Speaker 1: of them, some of them I've talked about before, Like
- 8:40Speaker 1: you know, if you've been listening for the If you've
- 8:43Speaker 1: been listening since the beginning, you know that I've talked
- 8:45Speaker 1: about my nail sponsor. If you're a real one, you
- 8:48Speaker 1: know Mala has had an ongoing nail sponsor. Yes, And
- 8:52Speaker 1: so I'm gonna and this is like basically with the
- 8:55Speaker 1: ongoing permission of this particular individual. I do talk about
- 8:59Speaker 1: him here and there in vague terms on the podcast,
- 9:02Speaker 1: but he sort of lives for it, and it's part
- 9:04Speaker 1: of the SIMP dynamics. So I'm gonna, like, because I've
- 9:07Speaker 1: conversed with him, and I actually I'm going to read
- 9:09Speaker 1: to you guys some of his language, like describing why
- 9:14Speaker 1: it is that he simms so hard and for so long.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna dedicated simp and we love to see it, honestly.
- 9:22Speaker 1: But so this guy nail sponsor, I would call him.
- 9:26Speaker 1: He's a SIMP and reply guy combo. He's public mostly
- 9:30Speaker 1: only on Instagram, public in the comments, also in the
- 9:34Speaker 1: d M s, also replying basically constantly. And for a
- 9:41Speaker 1: while he was my nail sponsor. He was sending me
- 9:43Speaker 1: money like every few weeks and it was super cute.
- 9:47Speaker 1: He's like sent me money for bading suits and things.
- 9:51Speaker 1: And I basically was like going back and forth with him.
- 9:54Speaker 1: After I commented, I posted something about simple content about
- 9:59Speaker 1: how there's like women who will get mad at me
- 10:02Speaker 1: because their their boyfriends are messaging me or are in
- 10:06Speaker 1: my d M s, and I posted a video basically
- 10:08Speaker 1: saying like, girl, don't get mad at me. I need
- 10:12Speaker 1: you to know that your man is a fucking sim
- 10:16Speaker 1: who has camped out in my d MS, like he
- 10:19Speaker 1: gets mail there, you know. And so you're getting mad
- 10:24Speaker 1: at me and your man is embarrassing you, like on
- 10:27Speaker 1: a daily basis, probably when he's sitting next to you
- 10:30Speaker 1: and he's on his phone. He's likely DMan, you know
- 10:34Speaker 1: what I mean? Like, but why are you mad at
- 10:36Speaker 1: me when he's one of many? Like we're about to
- 10:41Speaker 1: tell I'm about to go down the list of simps,
- 10:43Speaker 1: you know what I mean, most notable sims I have.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I put together like a top three here for us.
- 10:49Speaker 1: So anyways, so based on so I post about that
- 10:53Speaker 1: exchange I talked about simps, and so my long term
- 10:56Speaker 1: simp uh and former mail sponsor says to me, sincerely
- 11:01Speaker 1: and honestly speaking, it's very humbling and our real sense
- 11:04Speaker 1: of privilege to have ever been included in any of
- 11:06Speaker 1: your content, because you are so talented and naturally hilarious.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It means a lot to have been a public nail sponsor,
- 11:12Speaker 1: included vaguely in your podcast, to be a source of
- 11:15Speaker 1: memes or the butt of a joke. And I think
- 11:18Speaker 1: and that, so this is from him, right, And um,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I think it's cute. I think it's adorable because on
- 11:25Speaker 1: the one hand, he's sort of like this long term
- 11:28Speaker 1: fan who has also contributed in material ways, and he
- 11:32Speaker 1: has never met me in person. We've never met. And
- 11:36Speaker 1: he said to me one time that part of what
- 11:39Speaker 1: kind of gets him off on this whole exchange is
- 11:42Speaker 1: the knowledge that we've never met and there's never been
- 11:48Speaker 1: a relationship. There's never been a hook up, there's never
- 11:51Speaker 1: been an in person interaction of any kind. And still
- 11:54Speaker 1: here we find ourselves. And still he's simping and simping hard,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So I think it's cute
- 12:01Speaker 1: to him. Yeah, it's super cute. And I think that
- 12:04Speaker 1: there's something like pure dare I say about these Okay, well,
- 12:11Speaker 1: here hear me out, hear me out here out. Maybe
- 12:13Speaker 1: appear is not the word, right word, But here's the thing.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Hear me out. There's something like, because okay, I want
- 12:18Speaker 1: to I want to make a clear distinction. And this
- 12:20Speaker 1: is why I say pere right. Maybe it's not the
- 12:22Speaker 1: right word, but I want to make a clear distinction
- 12:24Speaker 1: that like the reply guys and the simps are not
- 12:27Speaker 1: like sending you on solicit dick pics. They're not like
- 12:29Speaker 1: being creepy and like sending you like, uh you up
- 12:33Speaker 1: at two in the morning. They're not like trying to
- 12:35Speaker 1: like come find you where they know that you maybe
- 12:38Speaker 1: like on the weekends, like if you know record like
- 12:40Speaker 1: they're not doing creepy ship like that. That's and I
- 12:43Speaker 1: think that's why I want to say, like there's a
- 12:44Speaker 1: distinction the reply guys in the samps like really kind
- 12:47Speaker 1: of just give either like adoration or like actually monetary
- 12:52Speaker 1: things without any expectation in return. So there's like some
- 12:55Speaker 1: type of dynamic there. And so there's something like maybe
- 12:58Speaker 1: I don't know if innocent maybe that's a better word,
- 13:00Speaker 1: but there's just something where it's like it's not creepy.
- 13:04Speaker 1: It can turn creepy, but it's not. I don't think
- 13:07Speaker 1: it comes from a creepy place at first, unless it
- 13:10Speaker 1: becomes obsessive. Then that's a whole different conversation about like
- 13:14Speaker 1: stalking in the Internet. I totally agree with you. And
- 13:20Speaker 1: the boundaries are so important because we each who who
- 13:25Speaker 1: among us has not had our fair share of pseudo stalkers,
- 13:30Speaker 1: actual stalkers, and boundary crossers. It's one way or another.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I'll wrapped into one man. Yeah, I've had that one
- 13:38Speaker 1: before too. We acknowledge that that's there, and that's the
- 13:41Speaker 1: thing we've had to navigate that this is not that
- 13:44Speaker 1: this is something that has been for us relatively pleasant.
- 13:48Speaker 1: It's like playful. It's playful. Um, it's painful and for
- 13:54Speaker 1: me in particular, and it's just because there's just have
- 13:57Speaker 1: You've been in a long term relationship and I've been
- 13:59Speaker 1: enjoying my reply guys in my sims, you know what
- 14:01Speaker 1: I mean. And so there's a distinction there. But it's
- 14:04Speaker 1: funny too because a part of the thing with this
- 14:07Speaker 1: particular simp um my former nail sponsor, is that he
- 14:12Speaker 1: also likes it what I mean to him and like
- 14:15Speaker 1: he'll tell me that and it's not like over the
- 14:17Speaker 1: phone or FaceTime. It's like all in the d M s.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I'll ignore the funk out of him all the time,
- 14:23Speaker 1: you know, or not respond or like not look at
- 14:25Speaker 1: it or whatever it is, leave it on scene. And
- 14:29Speaker 1: that's kind of like the dynamic and almost kind of
- 14:31Speaker 1: part of what he's seeking, you know. And then if
- 14:34Speaker 1: I'm rude and super short, he's into that as well.
- 14:38Speaker 1: So yes, so so on the one hand, like it
- 14:41Speaker 1: is pure, but on the other hand, I know that
- 14:43Speaker 1: he's he likes it, so it's stillberving on his end.
- 14:47Speaker 1: That's a good way for me. I guess what I mean.
- 14:50Speaker 1: When they're not getting anything out of it, I mean,
- 14:52Speaker 1: like they're physically not getting like they're not gonna they
- 14:54Speaker 1: don't expect to hook up with you, and they don't
- 14:56Speaker 1: expect to date you. That's right, I want. Yeah, I
- 14:59Speaker 1: think that's like the important part. I like, you know,
- 15:02Speaker 1: like you mentioned, have been in a long term relationship
- 15:05Speaker 1: for almost the entirety of the podcast at this point, right,
- 15:08Speaker 1: so if you're a new listener, been in a relationship
- 15:11Speaker 1: since uh, and so it's been a three years, and
- 15:16Speaker 1: so of course my like reply guys and dms that
- 15:19Speaker 1: kind of stuff have like dwindled over the years because
- 15:21Speaker 1: that happens, right, you're publicly in a relationship on social
- 15:24Speaker 1: media and um, but it's interesting to see the men
- 15:27Speaker 1: that have stayed knowing that I've been a relationship and
- 15:31Speaker 1: never like cross the line, but like continued to reply
- 15:33Speaker 1: to the stories. UM. And it was really interesting because
- 15:37Speaker 1: on my birthday, I you know, received a bunch of
- 15:40Speaker 1: dm s from a lot of y'all thank you for
- 15:42Speaker 1: from a lot of my our listeners. And I got
- 15:45Speaker 1: this message in particular that like cross my eye because
- 15:48Speaker 1: I was like, what is this person saying to me?
- 15:49Speaker 1: Right and just now I'm like looking at this threat
- 15:53Speaker 1: and he has like replied to tons of my stories
- 15:56Speaker 1: but just like fire emojis, hard eye emojis, like and
- 15:59Speaker 1: that's it. But on my birthday he sent his first
- 16:02Speaker 1: message and it's so intense. It's brief, but I'm like,
- 16:06Speaker 1: this is a very intensing to sato stranger. He says,
- 16:13Speaker 1: it's a lot that's like very romantic and that's like
- 16:16Speaker 1: something your partner should tell you. And it was really
- 16:20Speaker 1: it was really sweet. I just like replied like gracias
- 16:23Speaker 1: with like a little hard because I was like, wow,
- 16:24Speaker 1: this is nice and sweet. Um. But it's interesting that
- 16:28Speaker 1: the reply guys that are there even when you're in
- 16:30Speaker 1: a relationship, but they're still not trying to like hit
- 16:34Speaker 1: you up, date you, you you know, let me take you out.
- 16:41Speaker 1: M um um um um um um of it and
- 17:21Speaker 1: little Ship don't feel like sitting in a waiting room
- 17:26Speaker 1: right now. Planned Parenthoods got you covered as a leader

- 18:16Speaker 1: and book a virtual appointment. That's Planned parenthood dot org
- 18:20Speaker 1: slash look a so okay uh And it is such
- 18:24Speaker 1: a fine line because I have had multiple reply guys
- 18:28Speaker 1: um again, some were just replied guys and then some
- 18:31Speaker 1: were replied guys and simple combos who very clearly, based
- 18:36Speaker 1: on their own pages, not only were they always in
- 18:39Speaker 1: my ship, but they have wives or Beyonce's or long
- 18:43Speaker 1: term girlfriends. And so the ones who have super intense
- 18:48Speaker 1: a wife, a girlfriend that they live with, a tenure relationship,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and I'm describing actual people in these moments. Um, it
- 18:57Speaker 1: gets to be uncomfortable for me to be like, like,
- 19:00Speaker 1: you're on my ship all day responding to me and
- 19:06Speaker 1: I don't, and it makes it less fun for me
- 19:09Speaker 1: knowing that you're a sucking cornball asked dude, who's probably
- 19:13Speaker 1: unfaithful emotionally, if not physically to the woman in your life,
- 19:17Speaker 1: Because if you're spending this much time just in my
- 19:20Speaker 1: d MS, I would never want to date a guy
- 19:23Speaker 1: who has camped out in some bitches d MS. I
- 19:27Speaker 1: really wouldn't personally. No, it's true. And that's the thing.
- 19:30Speaker 1: It's like, once you have had a relationship with a
- 19:33Speaker 1: reply guy, you're you could never date them because you
- 19:36Speaker 1: know how they are with women they don't even know,
- 19:38Speaker 1: you know. It's like I was saying, like Mola Tomala
- 19:42Speaker 1: when we were prepping for this episode, I was like
- 19:43Speaker 1: I mean, you never know. I don't think that my
- 19:47Speaker 1: man is a type of man to be in the
- 19:48Speaker 1: d m s when he's barely in my d M.
- 19:50Speaker 1: So you know, I don't think he's in the stranger's dms.
- 19:54Speaker 1: And if he is, like you know, we'll figure that
- 19:57Speaker 1: sh it out. But um, yeah, it's like it's interesting
- 20:01Speaker 1: because then it's the question is how do they treat
- 20:04Speaker 1: the women in their lives? Are they this attentive, are
- 20:08Speaker 1: they this sweet? Are they this romantic like? Or are
- 20:11Speaker 1: they not paying attention to them at all? I'm confused.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I'm confused. And then I also recognize that there are
- 20:22Speaker 1: reply guys that I have blocked quite simply for being annoying,
- 20:27Speaker 1: right because it there's it can be too much. It
- 20:29Speaker 1: can get to be too much, and then some of
- 20:31Speaker 1: them can be a little antagonistic, and especially when they're
- 20:36Speaker 1: straight men, and what they're doing is like challenging the
- 20:39Speaker 1: content or riffing content. They're like trying to engage you
- 20:44Speaker 1: with your content, and I'm like you, actually, I literally
- 20:49Speaker 1: would never want to talk to you about anything that
- 20:52Speaker 1: I've posted for any reason. And so what I also
- 20:56Speaker 1: need some reply guys to hear is that you can
- 21:00Speaker 1: be a true nuisance. And I've blocked many many reply
- 21:06Speaker 1: guys for something super minor just because it was annoying. Yeah. Yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 1: that's real. That is so real. Trying to think if
- 21:14Speaker 1: if I've had to block anyone, I don't think so
- 21:18Speaker 1: I do. If you're annoying and you have a wife,
- 21:21Speaker 1: it's like a no brainer. It takes very little to
- 21:23Speaker 1: block a married man. Yeah, very little. We've talked about
- 21:27Speaker 1: that on the show before. There was this like dude
- 21:29Speaker 1: that was in Molase ms Um constantly and he was married,
- 21:34Speaker 1: he had a wife, he had a kid, and I
- 21:37Speaker 1: like quickly found her Facebook because he was becoming a nuisance.
- 21:41Speaker 1: And I'm like, my dude, like you have your Facebook
- 21:44Speaker 1: linked on your profile and you're you know, being like
- 21:48Speaker 1: really flirty and creepy with Mala and you have a
- 21:51Speaker 1: whole wife. And I found her Facebook in a minute.
- 21:53Speaker 1: And if I was that type of bitch, I would
- 21:54Speaker 1: have DMed her and been like, look look what your
- 21:56Speaker 1: man is doing. But I'm not, honestly, but I could
- 21:59Speaker 1: it of because it puts us in this awkward situation
- 22:03Speaker 1: where it's like me just minding my business and living
- 22:06Speaker 1: my life, and I really need you to understand. I'm
- 22:10Speaker 1: I'm laid out on my couch smoking a joint, my
- 22:15Speaker 1: shaggy fucking dog sitting on top of me in a
- 22:19Speaker 1: bathroom above my grandmother's garage, posting bullshit on the internet
- 22:24Speaker 1: for fun, you know what I mean. And then casually
- 22:28Speaker 1: I end up having all this evidence of my d
- 22:31Speaker 1: MS of partnered men being scumbags, and it puts this
- 22:36Speaker 1: weird sense of responsibility onto the receiving party us to
- 22:43Speaker 1: be like, I have a choice here. I could probably
- 22:46Speaker 1: provide this information to this man's wife, who would be
- 22:50Speaker 1: as found in point two seconds, because now it's in
- 22:55Speaker 1: my d m s and I have it, and I
- 22:57Speaker 1: could ruin a marriage. But I didn't ruin the marriage.
- 23:00Speaker 1: He ruined the marriage when he was replying to me
- 23:03Speaker 1: every thirty seconds, and then on a picture of me
- 23:06Speaker 1: said that the crease between my thigh and my hip
- 23:12Speaker 1: was so long that they needed to paint pictures of
- 23:16Speaker 1: me and put it in museums. And I'm like, it's
- 23:20Speaker 1: now too so I'm just gonna block you to preserve
- 23:27Speaker 1: my own sanity. But then I still just had that interaction,
- 23:31Speaker 1: and I'm like that poor lady, because it's not she's
- 23:33Speaker 1: not going to deal with me, but she'll have to
- 23:35Speaker 1: deal with somebody event you know. Oh yeah, absolutely, that
- 23:38Speaker 1: kind of stuff comes back. It's hercles. It like has
- 23:41Speaker 1: its way not to you, but to the man or
- 23:43Speaker 1: to the unfaithful partner whomever. That maybe, oh girl, yeah,
- 23:48Speaker 1: that's weird. I couldn't. I couldn't. I wouldn't know if
- 23:51Speaker 1: I had a married man in my d M s
- 23:53Speaker 1: because most of these men are private pages and I'm
- 23:56Speaker 1: not going to friend them, so I'm like, maybe possibly,
- 23:59Speaker 1: who know? So the reply guy slash simp that. And
- 24:04Speaker 1: again I when I talk about these guys, these are
- 24:06Speaker 1: guys that with me. There is already years of work
- 24:11Speaker 1: that they've put in to establish themselves in these terms,
- 24:16Speaker 1: and they themselves have self identified this way okay, as
- 24:20Speaker 1: reply guys and as sims, so this is like and
- 24:25Speaker 1: they also knows who these guys are because I share
- 24:27Speaker 1: with her. Oh yeah, if you're listening, I know who
- 24:30Speaker 1: she's talking about. And I know who you are. I've
- 24:32Speaker 1: looked at your page. Okay, you know who you are,
- 24:34Speaker 1: and if you have a wife, I clearly can find her.
- 24:37Speaker 1: So just be aware. Tread lightly, tread lightly, so I
- 24:41Speaker 1: have not the classes vocal is what I'm saying exactly. So, um,
- 24:47Speaker 1: we this this second person, I'm gonna call him pandemic
- 24:52Speaker 1: prospy because he has really dedicated himself to showing me
- 24:58Speaker 1: and proving to me that he could keep me alive
- 25:02Speaker 1: and fed during global collapse and the apocalypse. So this man,
- 25:09Speaker 1: who again he has been putting in the work for
- 25:11Speaker 1: years now, he will send me literally the other day
- 25:14Speaker 1: he sent me photos of the dear meat that he
- 25:17Speaker 1: cut up when he likes slaughtered and dressed a deer
- 25:19Speaker 1: and he's like, yeah, I killed it with a bone
- 25:21Speaker 1: arrow and he's like, we can move to the mountains,
- 25:24Speaker 1: bring your roller skates, like, bring your mic you will survive.
- 25:29Speaker 1: He will send me pictures of his vegetable garden. It's
- 25:32Speaker 1: very hardy. It's it's a very impressive vegetable garden and
- 25:35Speaker 1: the weed that he grows, because he needs me to
- 25:38Speaker 1: know that he can hook it up in the in
- 25:41Speaker 1: the apocalypse. It's the only way I'm going to survive.
- 25:44Speaker 1: So this is like a very um pristine model of
- 25:49Speaker 1: the simp slash for reply guy, the pandemic Crosby. He
- 25:53Speaker 1: wants you to know, he wants me to know that
- 25:56Speaker 1: he's useful and that he is really focused on my
- 26:01Speaker 1: survival and well being. And for me, if you're gonna
- 26:04Speaker 1: be camped out in a woman's dems, provide some value
- 26:09Speaker 1: give her, Like why are you there? What is your purpose?
- 26:11Speaker 1: What is your reason? If you're gonna simp, what are
- 26:14Speaker 1: you offering? Because I think that's one of the keys, Like,
- 26:18Speaker 1: you can't just be a simple just for the sake
- 26:21Speaker 1: of being a simple. What do you have to offer?
- 26:23Speaker 1: This is what we need to know. Damn yes, pandemic puppy.
- 26:28Speaker 1: He has been making himself useful. He knows, he knows
- 26:31Speaker 1: what he's doing. He knows, he knows. Oh oh, and
- 26:35Speaker 1: let's say this to let's talk about this too. You
- 26:38Speaker 1: can at one point be a notable simp, but you
- 26:42Speaker 1: can get knocked off the totem poll very easily, get
- 26:46Speaker 1: knocked off the rocks. So you can get bumped. It's
- 26:48Speaker 1: not that's a thing too, and that has happened to some.
- 26:52Speaker 1: There are some simps who have definitely been bumped as
- 26:54Speaker 1: of recently. Why did they? Why did they get bumped?
- 26:58Speaker 1: You know exactly who I'm talking about. Ummm, give me
- 27:04Speaker 1: a hint. I'm gonna say another one that there's years
- 27:08Speaker 1: in the game and monetary support. Yes, yes, yes, but
- 27:14Speaker 1: no longer a notable Sam. Yeah, so he gets he's
- 27:17Speaker 1: at the end of the line. Basically, he doesn't even
- 27:20Speaker 1: get an honorable mention anymore. God. And this is the thing,
- 27:23Speaker 1: there is a bit of competitiveness to this because my form,
- 27:27Speaker 1: I'm going to read you another another d M, another
- 27:33Speaker 1: quote direct from my nail sponsor, because again they're self aware,
- 27:40Speaker 1: and so he says, of the simple army, we are
- 27:44Speaker 1: a legion, the local SIMP legion. I'm trying not to
- 27:47Speaker 1: be competitive and claim best supporting fan from the problematic
- 27:53Speaker 1: male side right of our listenership, because we do have
- 27:57Speaker 1: some men who listen and who follow right, And this
- 27:59Speaker 1: is where the simps are coming from. So there's competition, people,
- 28:03Speaker 1: there's competition, and they're all buying for the top spot.
- 28:06Speaker 1: So if you're not looking up, you can get bumped
- 28:10Speaker 1: at any moment, and you're not even worth mentioning at
- 28:12Speaker 1: that point, you know what I mean. So these are
- 28:14Speaker 1: things important to keep in mind if you want to
- 28:16Speaker 1: sim yes, agreed. What for me, what I do is
- 28:21Speaker 1: because I'm you know, in a relationship, so there's a
- 28:23Speaker 1: different type of boundary that needs to be had where
- 28:26Speaker 1: I'm like, I can't be responding to these dudes, like
- 28:29Speaker 1: I just can't. That's just not I know. So for
- 28:32Speaker 1: me what helps is I'm like, thanks so much, here's
- 28:36Speaker 1: the project. Here's look at that our radio. Direct all
- 28:39Speaker 1: your energy that way. You know you want to you
- 28:42Speaker 1: want to send money, send it to the podcast. You
- 28:45Speaker 1: know I don't need it for me. You can send
- 28:47Speaker 1: it that way to the project and we can both
- 28:49Speaker 1: reef the benefits. Right. And so if you're in a
- 28:52Speaker 1: relationship and you have your reply guys and you're launching
- 28:54Speaker 1: your business, that's that's what you do. And ultimately that's
- 28:59Speaker 1: the best way to simple support her dreams, support her dreams. Yes, yes, simple,
- 29:06Speaker 1: that's it, period, very simple. So once again, hit the
- 29:10Speaker 1: venmo at local Thorifa dash radio. You're listening now, you know,

- 29:42Speaker 1: patron again. He like tis his tear alright, Yeah, so
- 29:48Speaker 1: you know you just they gotta you gotta redirect that
- 29:52Speaker 1: to the projects, support your person's dreams, whatever that may be. Yes,
- 29:59Speaker 1: whoever you're thing over by their merch mm hm, no,

- 31:46Speaker 1: and that's Patreon exclusive. So that was the first and
- 31:51Speaker 1: foremost important thing to me when I was first thinking
- 31:54Speaker 1: about the concept of the album, of like, every song
- 31:57Speaker 1: has to have its own kind of identity and and
- 32:00Speaker 1: vibe to it and feeling to it. Uh So every
- 32:05Speaker 1: soon you know, it has its own saying going and
- 32:08Speaker 1: it has its own theme um, and every song talks
- 32:12Speaker 1: about a different imperfection. That's what the album is called Malta.
- 32:16Speaker 1: You've also had an interview with Noni Lamar of all
