- 0:07Speaker 4: And this is the big boss dog, Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Bang, boom, what you gonna do?
- 0:11Speaker 5: John Jay and Rich.
- 0:13Speaker 6: We're not talking about Ren 1010.
- 0:14Speaker 3: We're not talking about Lassie.
- 0:16Speaker 7: It's the one and only dog, y'all.
- 0:17Speaker 3: The classy, sassy, big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your
- 0:20Speaker 3: face to be and in the place to be. And
- 0:22Speaker 3: you're listening to John Jay and Rich.
- 0:24Speaker 8: Wake your ass up, fool.
- 0:26Speaker 6: Rich Day's national what?
- 0:27Speaker 3: National Kale Day.
- 0:29Speaker 9: Pass.
- 0:30Speaker 5: I like kale in my soups.
- 0:31Speaker 10: Yeah, kale's good.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Nobody likes kale.
- 0:34Speaker 11: If kale is done right, kale is good justice for kale.
- 0:37Speaker 3: You say that you like it, but I think you
- 0:39Speaker 3: just like it because it's good for you. It is
- 0:41Speaker 3: National Coffee with a Cop Day, and it is National
- 0:45Speaker 3: Random Acts of Poetry Day. Okay, I'll go first. John
- 0:51Speaker 3: Jay and Rich are on this morning. Our radio show
- 0:54Speaker 3: comes with an immaturity warning. There you go.
- 0:58Speaker 6: That's poetry? I thought you were going to do, like,
- 1:02Speaker 6: roses are red. That's all I got.
- 1:05Speaker 12: I just walked in on something right before we started,
- 1:08Speaker 12: and I thought it was really cool and really interesting.
- 1:10Speaker 6: Do you guys remember when Noah was on The Price
- 1:11Speaker 6: is Right?
- 1:12Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:12Speaker 6: Of course I do.
- 1:13Speaker 10: I'm so jelly.
- 1:14Speaker 6: Noah, who's behind the scenes, was on The Price is Right.
- 1:16Speaker 6: Here's a scene, a clip from that. Noah Lashley, come
- 1:20Speaker 6: on down. So that was a while ago. Noah, Noah,
- 1:24Speaker 6: can you come in? Noah, could you please come on down?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Come on down.
- 1:27Speaker 6: Could you please come in and come out of your studio,
- 1:29Speaker 6: come into our studio? Noah Lashley, come on down.
- 1:35Speaker 5: I know that's exactly how you ran on down.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Noah Lashley, our.
- 1:40Speaker 6: Audio major, was on The Price is Right. How long
- 1:44Speaker 6: ago was that, Noah?
- 1:46Speaker 3: That was a year ago this week.
- 1:47Speaker 8: What?
- 1:48Speaker 10: A year ago?
- 1:49Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:50Speaker 6: I walked in on him because he was, what was
- 1:53Speaker 6: the prize? He won prizes and now they're coming in.
- 1:55Speaker 13: Yeah, I won a three-night contest. Four day trip to Austin,
- 2:00Speaker 13: Texas to Carter Creek Winery and Resorts.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Make sure you have the proper vacation time before you
- 2:05Speaker 3: go there, please. Thank you.
- 2:07Speaker 13: I won a driftboard hybrid scooter. I won a computer
- 2:13Speaker 13: and I won a 3D printer.
- 2:16Speaker 6: So I walked back in there and he had this
- 2:19Speaker 6: huge calendar spread and I go, what are you doing?
- 2:21Speaker 6: He goes, I'm planning my trip to New York. I go,
- 2:25Speaker 6: New York? But you just said Austin.
- 2:28Speaker 13: I emailed the travel agent back because we were going
- 2:31Speaker 13: over all kinds of random stuff for the trip. And
- 2:35Speaker 13: I had accounted to take an entire week for my Austin,
- 2:40Speaker 13: Texas trip. My mom was going to be my plus one.
- 2:42Speaker 13: We were going to take the whole family. She was
- 2:44Speaker 13: going to pay to add my dad. I was going
- 2:46Speaker 13: to bring Lenora. It was going to be this whole thing.
- 2:49Speaker 13: And then one by one, everybody had plans, everybody canceled,
- 2:53Speaker 13: and I wasn't going to plan out. But I had
- 2:54Speaker 13: already allotted for this entire week with the travel agent.
- 2:58Speaker 13: So I had asked and I kind of coerced, if
- 3:01Speaker 13: you will, the possibility of making this two trips in
- 3:05Speaker 13: one and seeing if I can get the prices rights
- 3:07Speaker 13: dime to pay for it.
- 3:09Speaker 6: Interesting, right?
- 3:10Speaker 3: So both, two cities.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Like he didn't get the showcase showdown.
- 3:14Speaker 3: No.
- 3:14Speaker 6: This is against Price is Right regulations.
- 3:16Speaker 3: This is me doing what I do.
- 3:18Speaker 11: How did you finagle a trip to Austin into a
- 3:21Speaker 11: trip to New York and Austin?
- 3:23Speaker 13: Instead of a round trip ticket, which is what I
- 3:26Speaker 13: was told all would be happening when I sat down
- 3:28Speaker 13: with the people at the Price is Right to go
- 3:29Speaker 13: over my prizes, I asked if we could switch it
- 3:32Speaker 13: to one-way tickets. And they crunched some numbers and said
- 3:35Speaker 13: that they would be willing to make an exception.
- 3:37Speaker 3: So you have no way home.
- 3:39Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Yes.
- 3:41Speaker 13: They are going to pay for Phoenix to Austin, and
- 3:44Speaker 13: then Austin to New York, and then I just have
- 3:46Speaker 13: to get my own flight back from New York back
- 3:48Speaker 13: to Phoenix.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Oh, that's not too bad. And it turns out the
- 3:50Speaker 3: week that I'm planning on going is a really cheap week.
- 3:54Speaker 3: You're flying out of Newark, New Jersey?
- 3:56Speaker 6: JFK.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Oh, JFK, yeah.
- 3:57Speaker 10: So what, they pay for your hotel in Austin, and
- 3:59Speaker 10: then you have to figure out your lodging for New York?
- 4:03Speaker 7: Yep.
- 4:03Speaker 3: So they're paying for the entire.
- 4:05Speaker 13: austin hotel and for the the plane rides for me
- 4:10Speaker 13: and my plus one which is my friend shelby she's
- 4:12Speaker 13: really into wineries now so perfect timing for that and
- 4:15Speaker 13: then she loves being my new york bestie so we
- 4:18Speaker 13: kind of combined both we found a cheap hotel and
- 4:21Speaker 13: a cheap flight home so.
- 4:22Speaker 6: There's more what about the scooter yeah and then as
- 4:26Speaker 6: i'm dealing with that this was all happening yesterday and
- 4:28Speaker 6: this morning yeah Emails, all kinds of stuff. Different people.
- 4:32Speaker 13: I find out from the Price is Right Prize Fulfillment
- 4:36Speaker 13: Center that the company that provides the scooter is being uncooperative.
- 4:42Speaker 11: And so.
- 4:44Speaker 13: They have offered me a cash out option and they're
- 4:47Speaker 13: going to mail me a check for $ 2, 000.
- 4:48Speaker 3: What?
- 4:49Speaker 11: An expensive scooter.
- 4:52Speaker 5: That pays for New York, baby.
- 4:53Speaker 3: There we go.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Dude, that is incredible.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Let me ask you a question about your travels and
- 4:59Speaker 3: like the things that you do and all that stuff.
- 5:01Speaker 3: How do you have more vacation time than John?
- 5:04Speaker 6: This is 2027.
- 5:04Speaker 3: This is not happening this year.
- 5:08Speaker 10: Rich is really worried that we were about to lose Noah.
- 5:13Speaker 11: Don't rain on his parade.
- 5:16Speaker 6: 2027 from HR.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Who cares?
- 5:18Speaker 6: I think that's exciting, Noah.
- 5:19Speaker 4: That is awesome.
- 5:20Speaker 6: That is wild that you made it on a game
- 5:22Speaker 6: show and you got these prizes. I love that. Hey man, sorry.
- 5:25Speaker 6: The prize place is being uncooperative. You got to get
- 5:28Speaker 6: stuff signed.
- 5:28Speaker 11: They forget they told the prizes, right? They would supply
- 5:32Speaker 11: a scooter?
- 5:32Speaker 6: Maybe when they saw Noah was the winner, like, no,
- 5:34Speaker 6: we don't think so.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Guys, there's more. There's more?
- 5:37Speaker 14: What?
- 5:37Speaker 13: So the same thing, kind of the same thing happened
- 5:40Speaker 13: with the fulfillment team for my computer. The distributor of
- 5:44Speaker 13: the computer does not make that model anymore. And so
- 5:48Speaker 13: the store, which is like an electronic store out of Chicago,
- 5:51Speaker 13: reached out to me.
- 5:52Speaker 3: They gave me a call, some guy named Steve.
- 5:54Speaker 13: And Steve told me that it's his store and he
- 5:57Speaker 13: participates with The Price is Right and he gives away
- 5:59Speaker 13: things all the time. And so I could pick out
- 6:01Speaker 13: pretty much anything from his catalog and he'll give me
- 6:03Speaker 13: a credit for it.
- 6:04Speaker 11: Oh, that's cool.
- 6:04Speaker 6: So what do you get?
- 6:05Speaker 3: So I decided.
- 6:06Speaker 13: Earlier this week to buy a nice speaker and receiver
- 6:10Speaker 13: set for my bedroom TV.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Let's go.
- 6:13Speaker 13: Because I have one in my living room and now
- 6:14Speaker 13: I'm spoiled and I can't handle the way like normal.
- 6:17Speaker 3: TV speaker sounds.
- 6:18Speaker 15: Yeah, you're right.
- 6:19Speaker 13: I'm like, I need a speaker and I have one.
- 6:21Speaker 13: I've had one for years, but... It was a hand-me-down,
- 6:23Speaker 13: but that's for my living room TV. Now that I
- 6:25Speaker 13: have two TVs because I have a living room and
- 6:26Speaker 13: a bedroom in my apartment, I'm like, ah.
- 6:28Speaker 6: You got to tell the lady who won the Showcase Showdown,
- 6:32Speaker 6: be like, burn.
- 6:34Speaker 3: What about the printer? Didn't you sell the printer?
- 6:36Speaker 6: He threw in what?
- 6:37Speaker 3: He threw in a Polaroid camera. A Polaroid camera?
- 6:40Speaker 11: Bring it in. Cha-ching.
- 6:42Speaker 3: So the way I see it, I got more than
- 6:44Speaker 3: the lady who won the showcase. You sure did. Didn't
- 6:45Speaker 3: you sell the printer? And I sold the printer. I
- 6:48Speaker 3: got $ 1, 700 out of the printer.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Did you do it?
- 6:50Speaker 8: Yeah, it's unbelievable.
- 6:51Speaker 3: $ 1, 700 for the printer.
- 6:51Speaker 13: What the heck?
- 6:52Speaker 6: Noah Lashley.
- 6:53Speaker 11: Dang, you came out.
- 6:54Speaker 6: Come on down.
- 6:56Speaker 9: Yay.
- 6:56Speaker 16: Woo. Woo.
- 6:59Speaker 6: Did you eat the helmet though? Remember the helmet didn't fit?
- 7:01Speaker 13: The helmet was also unable to be fulfilled and they are.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Mailing me a check for $ 40.
- 7:06Speaker 13: How does the show.
- 7:09Speaker 6: Stay in business? Are you kidding me?
- 7:14Speaker 3: It's almost like, who runs it, us? I never got
- 7:17Speaker 3: my prize! Way to go, Noah.
- 7:21Speaker 6: Way to go. Well, congratulations. Hey, what's the vibe for
- 7:30Speaker 6: horoscopes today?
- 7:31Speaker 10: I'm letting you know the thing that your zodiac sign
- 7:34Speaker 10: needs to do to just hit a quick reset on
- 7:37Speaker 10: your life when things get a little bit messy.
- 7:39Speaker 5: So if it's your birthday today, you are a Libra.
- 7:41Speaker 10: You share a birthday with Simon Cowell, Lewis Capaldi, Tony Braxton,
- 7:44Speaker 10: and Mookie Betts.
- 7:46Speaker 6: Tammy.
- 7:47Speaker 9: Hi.
- 7:48Speaker 6: What's your sign?
- 7:48Speaker 8: John D. Libra.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Libra, perfect. Just like Kyle.
- 7:53Speaker 10: So for my Libras today, your reset that you need,
- 7:57Speaker 10: because it is your season, you should just put your
- 7:59Speaker 10: phone on do not disturb, like mute all of those
- 8:01Speaker 10: group chats and spend a few hours just refusing to
- 8:04Speaker 10: make a single decision for anyone else. It'll seriously clear
- 8:08Speaker 10: your mental and get you right.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Back on the right foot.
- 8:10Speaker 17: Well, perfect, because I'm off today.
- 8:12Speaker 14: Perfect.
- 8:13Speaker 9: I love it.
- 8:14Speaker 5: Turn it on D & D.
- 8:16Speaker 6: There we go.
- 8:17Speaker 18: Sounds awesome.
- 8:18Speaker 10: Love you guys.
- 8:19Speaker 18: Been listening for so many years.
- 8:21Speaker 6: Well, thank you for listening, Tammy. Have a great day.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Enjoy your time off.
- 8:24Speaker 18: Thank you.
- 8:25Speaker 11: You too.
- 8:26Speaker 6: How about Pisces?
- 8:27Speaker 10: Rich, the reset that you need, you need a high
- 8:29Speaker 10: aesthetic evening. So think like cozy lights in a comfort
- 8:33Speaker 10: movie that you've seen 15 times. It's time to daydream
- 8:35Speaker 10: without anyone asking you for a real answer.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Oh, I love that.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Get into spooky season. I would recommend Halloween Town.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Halloween Town? Oh, I did see that. I saw the
- 8:46Speaker 3: commercial for that, getting ready to stream.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Did you?
- 8:48Speaker 13: Yes.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, I love that. I love all the
- 8:49Speaker 5: old Disney Halloween movies.
- 8:51Speaker 6: How about Leos?
- 8:52Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm a Leo. So us Leos, the reset that
- 8:54Speaker 10: we need, we actually need like a full self-care overhaul.
- 8:58Speaker 10: So think face mask, a fresh outfit, maybe like a
- 9:00Speaker 10: solo trip to a new coffee shop where we can
- 9:02Speaker 10: look cute and.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Feel like a person again. Come back to life.
- 9:05Speaker 6: And Virgos.
- 9:06Speaker 10: John Jay, you need to aggressively declutter whatever you got
- 9:10Speaker 10: going on over there.
- 9:12Speaker 19: Yeah, declutter.
- 9:13Speaker 6: You mean like in my area or my head?
- 9:14Speaker 5: Yes, in your, all of it actually.
- 9:16Speaker 11: I'm sure whatever.
- 9:17Speaker 10: Cross off three easy things to do just to prove
- 9:19Speaker 10: that you're in control.
- 9:21Speaker 5: And yeah, just get yourself together. You'll be good.
- 9:22Speaker 6: I've been doing that for years.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Did cluttering?
- 9:25Speaker 6: No, where I, easy things.
- 9:26Speaker 12: Like if I go through the phase where I'm making
- 9:28Speaker 12: a list of things to do and I do something,
- 9:31Speaker 12: I will write it on the list and then cross
- 9:32Speaker 12: it off.
- 9:32Speaker 20: Yeah, I do that sometimes.
- 9:34Speaker 3: It's very satisfying.
- 9:34Speaker 5: It really is.
- 9:35Speaker 6: Yeah, it is. Well, thank you, Peyton.
- 9:37Speaker 5: You're welcome.
- 9:37Speaker 6: If you missed your sign there, I'll post it on
- 9:38Speaker 6: our website, johnjainrich.com.
- 9:43Speaker 3: You know, we've been talking.
- 9:45Speaker 6: A lot about the website BuzzFeed. They got pretty good
- 9:47Speaker 6: stuff on there.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Yeah. It's a daily look for me.
- 9:49Speaker 6: I know. So BuzzFeed readers are sharing the celebrities that
- 9:54Speaker 6: they find unsettling.
- 9:56Speaker 10: Oh, okay.
- 9:57Speaker 11: Like they're kind of uncanny looking. Like William Defoe's a
- 10:00Speaker 11: little like unsettling.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Steve Buscemi.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Okay, so that's a good example. Like you feel that way.
- 10:05Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 10:05Speaker 6: Okay. So they're saying they're calling unsettling like there's just
- 10:08Speaker 6: something about them that's off. Yeah. And they give some examples.
- 10:12Speaker 6: So you might agree or you might disagree. Yeah. Like
- 10:15Speaker 6: Chris Pratt.
- 10:16Speaker 19: What?
- 10:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:17Speaker 11: I don't see it.
- 10:18Speaker 12: Now that he's an action star, it seems like he's
- 10:21Speaker 12: got a huge ego, but tries to play it off
- 10:23Speaker 12: like he's still the same guy he always was.
- 10:25Speaker 6: I don't get that vibe. He's not what?
- 10:28Speaker 3: He's not the same guy he always was. He used
- 10:29Speaker 3: to be a laughable, funny... Chubby guy. Chubby guy.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Oh, really? I think that's what happens. I think people... Like,
- 10:36Speaker 6: if he was chubby with the same personality... People wouldn't
- 10:39Speaker 6: look at it that way. But now because he's chiseled
- 10:40Speaker 6: and handsome and a sex symbol, now they look at
- 10:42Speaker 6: it that way. He hasn't changed. He hasn't changed. I
- 10:45Speaker 6: think it's the people's perception.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Do you know who I have that feeling about? And
- 10:48Speaker 3: you guys are going to disagree with me probably, but
- 10:51Speaker 3: I feel that way about Jeremy Renner, where I don't
- 10:54Speaker 3: necessarily know if I trust him in anything. You know,
- 10:56Speaker 3: I know he's been through a lot, whatever, but he
- 10:58Speaker 3: seems weird to me.
- 10:59Speaker 13: Really?
- 10:59Speaker 6: He seems unsettling.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Unsettling to me.
- 11:03Speaker 6: Reese Witherspoon is on this list.
- 11:04Speaker 16: Really?
- 11:05Speaker 12: They said, I don't know why exactly, but I just
- 11:07Speaker 12: get these vibes from her that tell me she's probably
- 11:10Speaker 12: not a very nice person.
- 11:11Speaker 11: Oh, is it the do you know who I am arrest?
- 11:13Speaker 6: That's what I was going to say.
- 11:14Speaker 3: You're about to find out who I am.
- 11:15Speaker 6: She got pulled over for DUI and she said, don't
- 11:17Speaker 6: you know who I am? Don't you know who I am?
- 11:19Speaker 6: It's got to be from that.
- 11:20Speaker 8: Ma'am, what did I just tell you today?
- 11:23Speaker 21: I'd like to know what's going on.
- 11:24Speaker 3: He's under arrest.
- 11:24Speaker 19: If you don't get back.
- 11:25Speaker 22: I'm a U.S.
- 11:26Speaker 16: Citizen.
- 11:26Speaker 21: I'm allowed to stand on American.
- 11:28Speaker 18: Ground and ask you any question I want to ask.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Come on.
- 11:31Speaker 23: You better not arrest me.
- 11:32Speaker 8: Are you kidding me?
- 11:33Speaker 9: No, I told you.
- 11:35Speaker 22: I'm an American citizen.
- 11:36Speaker 21: I told you to get in that car and stay.
- 11:38Speaker 10: In there, didn't I?
- 11:38Speaker 23: You know my name, sir?
- 11:40Speaker 16: Don't hate enough.
- 11:40Speaker 22: You don't need to know my name?
- 11:42Speaker 9: Not quite yet.
- 11:42Speaker 8: I'll get that affirmation.
- 11:43Speaker 15: Oh, really?
- 11:43Speaker 13: Okay.
- 11:44Speaker 16: You're about to find out who I am.
- 11:46Speaker 6: That's fine.
- 11:46Speaker 8: I'm not real worried about you, ma'am.
- 11:48Speaker 10: Amber Heard would be for me. Like, there's just everything
- 11:51Speaker 10: we know about her is just.
- 11:52Speaker 6: Right. Yeah, I mean, that whole Johnny Depp trial or something.
- 11:56Speaker 6: That's a court-proven unsettling. Mindy Kaling is on this list.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Take it back.
- 12:01Speaker 6: Okay, think about this. This is the reason why.
- 12:03Speaker 12: Every character she writes or plays seems to be an
- 12:06Speaker 12: insufferable person. Neil Patrick Harris. He strikes me as pretty
- 12:12Speaker 12: holier than thou. I just get icky vibes from him.
- 12:15Speaker 11: Interesting.
- 12:17Speaker 6: Unsettling. Tom Brady. I just don't get a nice feeling
- 12:20Speaker 6: when I look at him and I don't know why.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I can see that.
- 12:24Speaker 6: This person says Tom Cruise.
- 12:25Speaker 12: He's gotten increasingly creepier over the years, but people still
- 12:28Speaker 12: love him and go to his movies in droves.
- 12:30Speaker 6: I just don't get it. Not in droves recently.
- 12:31Speaker 11: I mean, I think a lot of people think the
- 12:33Speaker 11: Scientology stuff with his daughter, Suri Cruise, could be a
- 12:37Speaker 11: little unsettling, right?
- 12:39Speaker 6: Yeah, I guarantee when I go over one of these names,
- 12:41Speaker 6: you're going to go, everyone's going to agree. But Jennifer Lawrence,
- 12:43Speaker 6: I say, her one-of-a-boy shtick feels like it was cultured
- 12:47Speaker 6: in a lab.
- 12:47Speaker 3: I like her.
- 12:49Speaker 5: Me too.
- 12:50Speaker 6: The next one I'm about to tell you, I feel
- 12:52Speaker 6: like we're all going to agree on. Ryan Reynolds.
- 12:54Speaker 11: Yeah. But not before the Taylor Swift stuff.
- 12:58Speaker 21: I know, I know.
- 12:59Speaker 5: But his true color is really shocking.
- 13:01Speaker 10: And I feel like when you know what kind of
- 13:04Speaker 10: person their partner is or their wife is.
- 13:06Speaker 3: He's like one of the mean girls.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:09Speaker 12: Taylor Swift is on this list. It says, by all accounts,
- 13:11Speaker 12: she's a lovely person. I keep waiting for the other
- 13:13Speaker 12: shoe to drop. Someone to say she bullied them or
- 13:16Speaker 12: cheated them out of money. There's something nefarious for sure.
- 13:18Speaker 11: But, like, nobody says that.
- 13:20Speaker 6: That's just her being so massive that someone has to
- 13:22Speaker 6: try to take her down.
- 13:23Speaker 24: I don't know.
- 13:23Speaker 10: I feel like with the Taylor Swift stuff, like, as
- 13:25Speaker 10: great as she is, I do feel like sometimes she
- 13:27Speaker 10: does a.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Little much with, like, the merch and you got to
- 13:30Speaker 5: get your forefront.
- 13:31Speaker 10: Business.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Well, yeah.
- 13:32Speaker 6: That's just business.
- 13:33Speaker 11: Smart business people to keep her a billionaire. I get it,
- 13:35Speaker 11: but I can see how.
- 13:35Speaker 5: It can turn people off.
- 13:37Speaker 6: Oprah's on this list.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I've said that for years.
- 13:39Speaker 6: Completely fake and out of touch. Tom Hanks is on
- 13:43Speaker 6: the list. Oh, yeah.
- 13:43Speaker 11: Well, he's the creepiest.
- 13:44Speaker 6: You know, when you see someone and they make your
- 13:46Speaker 6: skin crawl and you can't explain it. I can explain it, though.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Candace Cameron Burr.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 13:53Speaker 10: Buray.
- 13:53Speaker 16: Buray.
- 13:54Speaker 6: Yuck, just yuck.
- 13:55Speaker 12: Her social media sharing is not reflective of her pro-God lifestyle.
- 13:59Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 13:59Speaker 3: People don't like her.
- 14:00Speaker 5: She's from Full House. She's DJ.
- 14:02Speaker 4: No.
- 14:03Speaker 6: Oh, she is from Full House?
- 14:03Speaker 11: From Full House.
- 14:04Speaker 20: Wasn't she also on Dancing with the Stars.
- 14:05Speaker 3: For a while, too? Yeah, people hate on her a lot.
- 14:08Speaker 11: Don't they?
- 14:08Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, Full House.
- 14:09Speaker 5: They don't like her. They don't like her.
- 14:10Speaker 11: I like her.
- 14:11Speaker 20: I don't know what she shares on social media, though.
- 14:12Speaker 20: I don't know what they're referring to there.
- 14:14Speaker 12: Anyway, so that's just a list of unsettling celebrities. If
- 14:16Speaker 12: there's someone you want to add to that list, shoot
- 14:18Speaker 12: us a text. Text JJR. in the unsettling celebrity to 96893.
- 14:22Speaker 12: Check in with.
- 14:27Speaker 25: John Jay and Rich.
- 14:29Speaker 11: Hit the top back mic.
- 14:32Speaker 6: It's time for Stacks and Hacks. I have stacks of
- 14:34Speaker 6: information and Rich has life hacks. And my information is really, really,
- 14:37Speaker 6: really interesting.
- 14:38Speaker 12: For example, there have never been more than six living
- 14:41Speaker 12: presidents at one point in American history. And right now
- 14:44Speaker 12: there are five. Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama,
- 14:47Speaker 12: Donald Trump, and Joe Biden.
- 14:49Speaker 6: Interesting.
- 14:51Speaker 12: Many people prefer texting to just about everything else, right?
- 14:54Speaker 12: You don't want to make phone calls and stuff.
- 14:55Speaker 6: But now millennials like to add the LOL or haha.
- 15:00Speaker 6: So the Gen Zers are over LOL and they have ideas.
- 15:06Speaker 6: They said, hey, please stop using LOL. Can you come
- 15:08Speaker 6: up with something else?
- 15:09Speaker 5: No, I'm not even a millennial. And no.
- 15:13Speaker 11: Sometimes LOL just sort of like makes it less serious.
- 15:17Speaker 11: Just so you know, this isn't like an aggressive text.
- 15:20Speaker 10: Like an LOL and a laughing emoji are the same.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Can't you just put the ha-ha on the end of
- 15:25Speaker 3: the text?
- 15:25Speaker 12: That's what they're saying to get rid of it. Gen
- 15:27Speaker 12: Z is calling on millennials. No more disingenuous LOLs. How
- 15:30Speaker 12: about L-A-L?
- 15:32Speaker 6: Laughed a little.
- 15:33Speaker 5: No.
- 15:34Speaker 10: I feel like that's why Gen Z, like that's why
- 15:36Speaker 10: we get a bad rep all the time.
- 15:38Speaker 6: L-I-M-H.
- 15:40Speaker 3: What's L-I-M-H?
- 15:42Speaker 6: Laugh. Inside my head.
- 15:45Speaker 10: Okay.
- 15:45Speaker 6: A-Y-F. Are you flirting? Mm-hmm. Or I-S-T.
- 15:50Speaker 12: I'm screenshotting this. So anyway, those are some of the
- 15:53Speaker 12: things that the Gen Zers have issues with.
- 15:56Speaker 3: We've got to study up on that. That's a lot.
- 15:59Speaker 6: Seattle's annual spider season has arrived. It's driven primarily by
- 16:04Speaker 6: mature male giant house spiders who are actively searching for
- 16:08Speaker 6: mates indoors.
- 16:09Speaker 16: Mm-hmm.
- 16:10Speaker 12: So now Seattle's got spiders all inside their house.
- 16:15Speaker 7: Pass.
- 16:16Speaker 12: 32% of Americans now believe that social media influencing qualifies
- 16:18Speaker 12: as a legitimate career.
- 16:19Speaker 6: 52% do not. I do not think it's a career. 33%
- 16:23Speaker 6: say they would not support their kid if they wanted
- 16:24Speaker 6: to major in social media. But you can. There's people
- 16:26Speaker 6: making millions of dollars.
- 16:27Speaker 20: It is very lucrative for a lot of people.
- 16:30Speaker 12: I interviewed a girl on my highly successful John J.
- 16:33Speaker 12: Van Ness podcast. It was making 80 grand a month
- 16:35Speaker 12: off TikTok. I interviewed Matt Peterson the other day, making
- 16:37Speaker 12: way beyond that monthly. And he is making a very
- 16:41Speaker 12: good living for himself in New York.
- 16:42Speaker 6: So it is a career. So I don't know how
- 16:44Speaker 6: you can say it's not.
- 16:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 16:45Speaker 13: Haters.
- 16:46Speaker 6: Woman in Australia is going viral for sharing a clip
- 16:49Speaker 6: from her wedding ceremony where her husband forgot her name.
- 16:54Speaker 6: He accidentally referred to her sister. That's a nervous guy
- 16:59Speaker 6: right there.
- 17:00Speaker 11: Never going to live that down.
- 17:02Speaker 12: Well, I'm going to play you the clip and then
- 17:04Speaker 12: I'll give you the behind the scenes because it's pretty interesting.
- 17:06Speaker 26: Take B.
- 17:08Speaker 27: Take B.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Emily Grace Pomfrey.
- 17:11Speaker 27: Emma. Emma Grace Pomfrey.
- 17:15Speaker 6: So.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Oh, he sounds so nervous.
- 17:17Speaker 12: First of all, the clip is a couple of years old.
- 17:19Speaker 12: The wife posted it not that long ago. It's gone viral.
- 17:22Speaker 12: They had just met and got pregnant. There were 10
- 17:25Speaker 12: weeks of knowing each. She was 10 weeks pregnant. They
- 17:27Speaker 12: only known each other 10 weeks when he screwed up.
- 17:29Speaker 12: But now they've been together.
- 17:30Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 17:32Speaker 10: I thought that that was the other story because I
- 17:34Speaker 10: just saw this video that went viral of a wife
- 17:37Speaker 10: calling her husband the wrong name during their vows.
- 17:41Speaker 5: She called him Shane.
- 17:43Speaker 10: But that's his middle name and his uncle was in
- 17:46Speaker 10: the crowd and his name Shane. So while they were there,
- 17:48Speaker 10: they were like, everyone in the crowd was like, she
- 17:50Speaker 10: said his name wrong. When really that's just what she
- 17:52Speaker 10: calls him.
- 17:52Speaker 5: It's just his middle name.
- 17:54Speaker 3: That's nothing.
- 17:55Speaker 5: I know, but that's what I.
- 17:56Speaker 6: Thought that was.
- 17:56Speaker 20: I thought he had maybe hooked up with a sister.
- 17:59Speaker 6: That makes sense.
- 18:00Speaker 12: You know how when you watch all these dramas, these
- 18:02Speaker 12: really cool things, and the cop figures out who the
- 18:05Speaker 12: killer is, just like a mystery.
- 18:07Speaker 3: It's a hunch.
- 18:07Speaker 6: It's a big thing.
- 18:08Speaker 3: And they see a thing.
- 18:09Speaker 12: A man in Florida who became known as the crossword
- 18:12Speaker 12: bandit has been caught. He orders beers and leaves without
- 18:15Speaker 12: paying him. His trademark was that he would leave a
- 18:18Speaker 12: crossword puzzle behind. And they would assume he was coming back,
- 18:21Speaker 12: but he never did.
- 18:22Speaker 5: I've definitely seen Nick do that.
- 18:24Speaker 6: And local bartenders are the victims, but here it is.
- 18:26Speaker 3: He got upset, he's heading to the restroom and never
- 18:29Speaker 3: saw him again.
- 18:30Speaker 13: But there is his crossword puzzle book that he always
- 18:33Speaker 13: leaves at the bar.
- 18:33Speaker 7: He looked over and he goes.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Oh my God, that's the guy.
- 18:36Speaker 11: And he's sitting right over here.
- 18:37Speaker 5: And I was like.
- 18:40Speaker 6: Oh my God, it is him. Like, that's so crazy.
- 18:42Speaker 28: Left half the beer. So I kept thinking, well, he's
- 18:45Speaker 28: coming back. That's why I didn't look for him for
- 18:47Speaker 28: a good amount of time. Cause I was like, oh,
- 18:49Speaker 28: he's in the bathroom where he's outside. I was like, oh,
- 18:53Speaker 28: good part of the scam.
- 18:54Speaker 12: Like, I like how he sits down with the crossword puzzle.
- 18:57Speaker 12: They're like, that's the guy. Let's wait till we finish it.
- 19:00Speaker 8: That's the guy.
- 19:01Speaker 3: He's still going to finish his beer before he leaves.
- 19:03Speaker 6: Yeah, the cops catch him. What do you got for
- 19:04Speaker 6: life hacks, Rich?
- 19:05Speaker 3: All right. This is something that I'm totally guilty of.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Walking into a room and immediately forgetting why you went
- 19:11Speaker 3: in there. We've all done it. In fact, there's actually
- 19:15Speaker 3: a name for it. It doesn't mean that you're losing
- 19:16Speaker 3: your ever-loving mind. It's called the doorway effect. Check this out.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Your brain actually treats walking through a doorway like a
- 19:24Speaker 3: movie scene change.
- 19:26Speaker 6: Oh really yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 3: So it's like oh new scene new room new information
- 19:30Speaker 3: and suddenly the thing that you need for the movie
- 19:32Speaker 3: scene is gone so here's the hack so next time
- 19:36Speaker 3: you do that walk back through the door that you
- 19:38Speaker 3: just came through and you will remember why you were
- 19:40Speaker 3: there like backwards or turn around and walk either way
- 19:42Speaker 3: doesn't matter you could if you want to you know
- 19:44Speaker 3: make it dramatic you could walk through backwards but you
- 19:46Speaker 3: just turn around and go back through the door you're
- 19:48Speaker 3: back in the movie you're going to remember what you
- 19:50Speaker 3: walked in there from so they say returning to the
- 19:52Speaker 3: original environment helps trigger the memory so it's not dementia
- 19:55Speaker 3: it's not it's not you're not losing your mind you're
- 19:58Speaker 3: not losing your mind your brain isn't broken it's just
- 20:00Speaker 3: an over aggressive film editor there's your life hack that
- 20:04Speaker 3: can be found at johnjanrich.com.
- 20:09Speaker 5: I'm already falling apart.
- 20:15Speaker 11: Guys, I always love reading stuff about how happy couples
- 20:18Speaker 11: can be happier, how successful couples do it. And this
- 20:22Speaker 11: Reddit thread got me so intrigued because it was going
- 20:26Speaker 11: on the unhinged things that basically make your relationship way better.
- 20:32Speaker 11: And I love every single one of these.
- 20:34Speaker 6: Unhinged and it works. Yeah.
- 20:36Speaker 11: So one of them on the list is occasionally hang
- 20:40Speaker 11: out with a couple who bickers constantly. That way you
- 20:42Speaker 11: come home appreciating each other way more.
- 20:45Speaker 6: Yes!
- 20:46Speaker 5: Actually, that's so valid.
- 20:47Speaker 10: There has been so many times where Kadeem and I
- 20:49Speaker 10: have been on a double date and we have so
- 20:51Speaker 10: much to talk about when we get in the car.
- 20:53Speaker 5: Like, can you believe?
- 20:54Speaker 6: Well, that's good.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I mean, first of all, it's totally entertaining to watch
- 20:59Speaker 3: the other couple bicker.
- 20:59Speaker 6: Right.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Because they're not really having a fight. Right. Like, going
- 21:02Speaker 3: off on each other.
- 21:03Speaker 10: Like, I have one friend where her boyfriend literally comments on, like,
- 21:07Speaker 10: every girl's body that they walk around.
- 21:09Speaker 5: And they're like, oh, yeah, like, she's so fine. Her
- 21:11Speaker 5: ass is fat. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 21:13Speaker 10: And me and Kadeem are like, I would never say
- 21:18Speaker 10: that in front of my girl ever.
- 21:20Speaker 11: Then you go home and you're like, wow, their relationship
- 21:22Speaker 11: is so toxic. We're so fabulous. Exactly. Aren't we good?
- 21:25Speaker 11: We're really good right now.
- 21:26Speaker 3: So valid.
- 21:27Speaker 6: So valid.
- 21:29Speaker 11: One of these, John Jay, I immediately thought of you
- 21:31Speaker 11: and Blake because you guys totally do this. It is
- 21:35Speaker 11: have code words when one person needs to tap out
- 21:38Speaker 11: of a social situation. And you, for the longest time,
- 21:40Speaker 11: have done it's time to 126.
- 21:43Speaker 12: 126. But that's the funny, because I'm so used to it.
- 21:45Speaker 12: I was trying to participate and didn't think I had
- 21:47Speaker 12: anything unhinged.
- 21:48Speaker 6: The problem with me and 126 is that's when I
- 21:50Speaker 6: want to leave, and then it takes her 45 minutes
- 21:52Speaker 6: to 126.
- 21:53Speaker 11: But you have that code word. She knows what that means,
- 21:56Speaker 11: and you may be sitting with four or five other people,
- 21:59Speaker 11: and you say, at 126, and they're like, I don't know,
- 22:01Speaker 11: is John Jay talking about a time or a number?
- 22:03Speaker 11: But she knows.
- 22:04Speaker 6: See, I thought you were going with, and we've had
- 22:06Speaker 6: people call up on the show before that have been
- 22:07Speaker 6: in a relationship for a long time, like a husband
- 22:09Speaker 6: and wife, and then they have a third woman.
- 22:11Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 22:12Speaker 6: Like they all live together.
- 22:14Speaker 11: I'm sure that was somewhere on here.
- 22:16Speaker 6: Like that's unhinged and it works. Like they've been living together,
- 22:20Speaker 6: three people for five years.
- 22:22Speaker 11: I mean, that could kind of fall under this one.
- 22:25Speaker 11: Give each other permission to do some things completely separately.
- 22:30Speaker 6: Sexual or non-sexual or both?
- 22:31Speaker 11: It didn't say. So I'm saying that could fall under
- 22:34Speaker 11: that unhinged relationship hack.
- 22:36Speaker 12: Like, remember Bill Gates with his wife for a long time?
- 22:39Speaker 12: She had a deal with him where he could go
- 22:41Speaker 12: away for like a week.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Yeah, once a year.
- 22:43Speaker 11: With somebody.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Once a year.
- 22:44Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 22:45Speaker 10: That's like, you have to have some confidence to be
- 22:48Speaker 10: able to like let your man come.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Back to you like that. She divorced him for that reason, too.
- 22:52Speaker 6: After 20 years.
- 22:53Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 11: Well, I thought she divorced him for other reasons.
- 22:55Speaker 13: Too, right?
- 22:56Speaker 3: I would imagine.
- 22:57Speaker 6: But I mean, that worked for them for 20 years
- 22:59Speaker 6: and it didn't work. You know what?
- 23:00Speaker 12: Hey, Jessa, what's a relationship hack that's unhinged that worked
- 23:03Speaker 12: for you?
- 23:04Speaker 24: My boyfriend and I have an argument parking lot.
- 23:07Speaker 20: An argument parking lot, which means?
- 23:10Speaker 24: So if one of us brings up something during a
- 23:12Speaker 24: fight that's like completely unrelated to what we're like actually
- 23:15Speaker 24: arguing about, then we just have to like write it
- 23:17Speaker 24: on a piece of paper and like throw it in
- 23:19Speaker 24: the bowl. And then we feel like, finish the OG
- 23:22Speaker 24: argument before we're allowed to like get into whatever we.
- 23:26Speaker 10: Threw in the bowl.
- 23:27Speaker 3: That makes sense. I thought you meant when you had
- 23:28Speaker 3: a big fight, you'd pull over like a Denny's and
- 23:30Speaker 3: sit in.
- 23:31Speaker 5: The parking lot.
- 23:32Speaker 6: That's how I still understand it. I don't understand what
- 23:34Speaker 6: she said. I don't understand what you said. Can you
- 23:37Speaker 6: say it again?
- 23:38Speaker 24: So basically if we're like having a fight and we
- 23:42Speaker 24: like start to bring in things that are unrelated. So
- 23:44Speaker 24: like the bowl is full of things that feel like
- 23:46Speaker 24: your mom and like the trip we took in 2019
- 23:49Speaker 24: and stuff like that. Like, if we start bringing in
- 23:53Speaker 24: things that aren't, like, directly related to what we're talking about,
- 23:56Speaker 24: we have to, like, stop, write it down, put it
- 23:59Speaker 24: in the bowl, and, like, continue with the original argument
- 24:02Speaker 24: and get through that before we touch anything else.
- 24:04Speaker 6: Oh, that's a lot.
- 24:05Speaker 10: They should call it an argument bowl, not an argument
- 24:08Speaker 10: parking lot. So if you're arguing with your boyfriend and
- 24:10Speaker 10: he says something that's, like, unrelated, do you just scream
- 24:13Speaker 10: at him, like, parking lot bowl?
- 24:15Speaker 13: Literally.
- 24:16Speaker 6: Literally.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Oh.
- 24:19Speaker 6: All right, Jessa. Thanks for calling in. That is definitely different.
- 24:22Speaker 6: That's different. Kira, you've got a relationship hack that works?
- 24:28Speaker 17: Yeah, I do.
- 24:29Speaker 9: So my boyfriend and I have.
- 24:31Speaker 15: A group chat with our two.
- 24:33Speaker 9: Best friends that we call Relationship Court.
- 24:36Speaker 1: And if we're having stupid disagreement and we just cannot
- 24:39Speaker 1: agree on who's being unreasonable, We will submit evidence to
- 24:44Speaker 1: the group chat, like screenshots, timelines, whatever, to prove our case.
- 24:49Speaker 1: And our friends are like the jury.
- 24:52Speaker 2: They decide.
- 24:54Speaker 1: And honestly, the embarrassing part is we've actually followed their verdicts.
- 24:59Speaker 23: Oh, that's so messy.
- 25:00Speaker 11: You must really trust your friends.
- 25:03Speaker 10: Adding people into your relationship, like no matter big or
- 25:06Speaker 10: small the.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Issue, I don't know if I could do that.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Well, you could be on the judge and jury, though.
- 25:11Speaker 6: Would you?
- 25:11Speaker 5: Oh, I would totally love to be the jury.
- 25:14Speaker 3: I think that we should on this John Jane Rich
- 25:16Speaker 3: radio show, we should do relationship court. So you're either
- 25:19Speaker 3: married or you're with somebody and you're having a disagreement
- 25:22Speaker 3: with them. You bring us your case. Each person gets
- 25:24Speaker 3: like 30 seconds to plead their case. And then we
- 25:27Speaker 3: will rule. Then you have to live your life that way.
- 25:28Speaker 3: I like it. So if you're having a disagreement, it
- 25:32Speaker 3: could be a family member, somebody you love. Bring it
- 25:34Speaker 3: to our relationship court.
- 25:35Speaker 11: So on the Reddit thread for the unhinged relationship hacks,
- 25:39Speaker 11: there were a lot having to do with arguments. So
- 25:42Speaker 11: like one of them, this couple said we actually use
- 25:45Speaker 11: toddler level communication techniques when an argument starts to get ridiculous.
- 25:49Speaker 13: So.
- 25:50Speaker 11: Like full on start using like toddler talk.
- 25:53Speaker 3: And they.
- 25:56Speaker 11: Say that works because it kind of like diffuses the
- 25:59Speaker 11: situation because you can't really take each other that seriously
- 26:03Speaker 11: when you're talking like toddlers.
- 26:04Speaker 10: Oh, that would make me so mad.
- 26:06Speaker 11: Well, I feel like another like normal argument in relationships
- 26:10Speaker 11: is like, what are we going to eat for dinner
- 26:12Speaker 11: or where are we going to go out to eat?
- 26:14Speaker 11: And so this one couple says, we literally have like,
- 26:17Speaker 11: we each get to pitch wherever we want to go,
- 26:18Speaker 11: but we're We have a constant like backup, I guess,
- 26:22Speaker 11: set restaurant. that no matter what, if we can't come
- 26:25Speaker 11: to a decision, like you want to go to Applebee's,
- 26:27Speaker 11: I want to go to Chili's, but like neither one
- 26:29Speaker 11: of us can decide, like I want my baby back ribs,
- 26:31Speaker 11: you want your Applebee's, whatever. And then they, in their
- 26:34Speaker 11: back of their mind go, okay, well, I guess we're
- 26:35Speaker 11: going to talk about, cause we can't figure it out.
- 26:37Speaker 11: Like you have to have that backup thing. And then
- 26:40Speaker 11: the last one was like, turn boring stories into a
- 26:42Speaker 11: mental gratitude exercise instead of tuning your partner out. So
- 26:47Speaker 11: when your partner may eventually come to you with a
- 26:49Speaker 11: story and you're like, I don't know why I have
- 26:51Speaker 11: to sit through this story. This one's kind of for you,
- 26:52Speaker 11: John Jay, because you think every story is boring. So
- 26:56Speaker 11: instead of tuning out and starting to think of other things, Rich,
- 26:59Speaker 11: you daydream a lot.
- 27:00Speaker 20: This might happen to you too.
- 27:01Speaker 11: Instead of doing that, you turn it into a mental
- 27:03Speaker 11: gratitude exercise where you're still listening to them, but while
- 27:08Speaker 11: they're speaking, you think of all the things that you're
- 27:10Speaker 11: grateful for while they're speaking. Oh, that's good. Like you're
- 27:14Speaker 11: grateful for them for.
- 27:15Speaker 20: That's good.
- 27:16Speaker 11: John Jay Blake may come to you and tell you
- 27:18Speaker 11: a story and you're like, I don't know these people.
- 27:20Speaker 11: I don't care. But instead of like thinking those negative thoughts,
- 27:23Speaker 11: you turn it into, man, I just really appreciate the
- 27:25Speaker 11: fact that she wants to come tell me this story.
- 27:27Speaker 11: I appreciate all she does for me.
- 27:28Speaker 6: Like, look at this.
- 27:29Speaker 11: She did the dishes over there. You know what I mean?
- 27:30Speaker 6: And then she goes, so what do you think? I go,
- 27:32Speaker 6: thanks for doing the dishes.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I'm so grateful. I wasn't listening to one thing you said,
- 27:36Speaker 3: but I'm.
- 27:37Speaker 6: So grateful you did the dishes.
- 27:38Speaker 10: If Kadeem did that, he'd be like, I'm so thankful
- 27:40Speaker 10: you have told me this story for the fifth time.
- 27:42Speaker 3: I really appreciate it. You can do the Taylor Swift thing.
- 27:45Speaker 3: What does she say? Every now and then she'll stop
- 27:47Speaker 3: and go, damn, that's crazy.
- 27:49Speaker 6: Kira, thanks for calling in.
- 27:52Speaker 25: Yeah.
- 27:53Speaker 6: Have a story to share? Hit up John Jay and
- 27:56Speaker 6: Rich right now at 1-877-937-1047.
- 27:59Speaker 25: Or text JJR and call me to 96893.
- 28:05Speaker 6: Unhinged relationship hacks. Kyle just gave us a little heads
- 28:09Speaker 6: up on that. But also, since it.
- 28:11Speaker 12: Is the Halloween season, spooky season, we also... from yesterday's show,
- 28:16Speaker 12: irrational fears. Kristen, you have an irrational fear?
- 28:20Speaker 17: I do have an irrational fear. I'm terrified of mice.
- 28:24Speaker 6: Oh, my mom was just like that. Yeah, me too.
- 28:26Speaker 6: My mom was crazy like that. Like how, like, I mean.
- 28:28Speaker 17: Yeah, like, yeah, like I'm brutally terrified of mice. Like
- 28:32Speaker 17: I will push my kids down in front of me,
- 28:34Speaker 17: sacrifice them to.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Get away from mice.
- 28:36Speaker 22: Like I, I am so scared.
- 28:38Speaker 17: I'm so scared of them. It's not even like legitimately
- 28:41Speaker 17: terrified of mice.
- 28:42Speaker 6: I know exactly what you're talking about. My mom was
- 28:44Speaker 6: a level 100.
- 28:44Speaker 12: Like I remember one time I thought it was so
- 28:47Speaker 12: funny that she was scared of me.
- 28:48Speaker 6: So I took a, you know, those, uh, they're, they're
- 28:50Speaker 6: like nylons. They're not pantyhose, but they're like socks, but
- 28:53Speaker 6: they're not pantyhose. I took one.
- 28:54Speaker 12: My mom would take them off and be rolled up.
- 28:56Speaker 12: I took one up and I rolled a, I took
- 28:57Speaker 12: a threading, like sewing thread. string and I wrapped it
- 29:01Speaker 12: around this little thing and I put it in a
- 29:03Speaker 12: big trash can in the kitchen and I hid. And
- 29:06Speaker 12: when she walked by the kitchen, I pulled the string
- 29:08Speaker 12: and it made a little like that noise. And she
- 29:10Speaker 12: thought it was a mouse and she screamed and fell
- 29:12Speaker 12: and broke her arm.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Oh no.
- 29:14Speaker 18: Tell me you felt guilty.
- 29:16Speaker 6: I did feel guilty, but it was also hilarious.
- 29:22Speaker 17: Yeah, I can't. I like, even if I think it's,
- 29:25Speaker 17: if I think it's a mouse, I will jump really
- 29:28Speaker 17: hard and like, I've got back problems. So if I'm jumping,
- 29:31Speaker 17: I'm hurting myself pretty bad.
- 29:34Speaker 6: I think they're cute, Terrifying. We had a couple texts
- 29:38Speaker 6: on yesterday. Someone said that they have their rational fears.
- 29:40Speaker 6: They're afraid of cotton. Cotton? Cotton. Oh, the texture.
- 29:45Speaker 9: I get that, though.
- 29:46Speaker 6: Yeah, cotton was one.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I've heard that, especially in pill bottles. You know,
- 29:49Speaker 3: when you have to reach past the cotton to get
- 29:52Speaker 3: to the pill.
- 29:52Speaker 12: This person said their irrational fear is hopping insects, grasshoppers
- 29:56Speaker 12: and crickets.
- 29:56Speaker 6: Crickets just gross me out.
- 29:57Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 29:59Speaker 6: Well, Kristen, thanks for calling in.
- 30:01Speaker 17: Thank you guys so much. You guys are awesome. I
- 30:03Speaker 17: listen to you all the time.
- 30:05Speaker 6: Thanks. Have a great day. Amanda. Good morning.
- 30:09Speaker 25: Hey.
- 30:10Speaker 19: Hey.
- 30:10Speaker 10: Good morning. How are you guys?
- 30:12Speaker 7: Great.
- 30:12Speaker 6: How are you?
- 30:13Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 30:14Speaker 19: Hey, Rich, I'd like to know a little bit first.
- 30:17Speaker 9: What kind of medicine do you have nowadays that has
- 30:19Speaker 9: cotton balls in it? That's from chicken pox back in
- 30:22Speaker 9: the 80s, right?
- 30:22Speaker 3: Well, I think all the vitamins that you get have
- 30:24Speaker 3: that little cotton that you have to reach down past
- 30:27Speaker 3: when you pop open a, you know, Okay, fair. A
- 30:29Speaker 3: bottle of, like, Trader Joe's vitamin C. Fair, fair. I
- 30:33Speaker 3: won't make fun of you.
- 30:34Speaker 9: That's fine. But I don't like it.
- 30:37Speaker 18: I wanted to see about Kyle because you glazed over
- 30:39Speaker 18: that whole evil ghost story, girly.
- 30:42Speaker 9: I need a little bit more info because I'm totally
- 30:44Speaker 9: into that stuff.
- 30:45Speaker 8: Oh, okay.
- 30:46Speaker 6: What was the setup for that, though?
- 30:47Speaker 11: I don't know if I glazed over it because we
- 30:48Speaker 11: were talking about how maybe we wanted to hear people's
- 30:50Speaker 11: ghost stories.
- 30:51Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 30:52Speaker 9: You said you had an evil ghost.
- 30:54Speaker 12: Right, but I had said that there was a survey
- 30:56Speaker 12: that says most people think ghosts are happy, friendly ghosts,
- 30:59Speaker 12: and then some are evil.
- 31:00Speaker 6: And then Kyle goes, well, I've had both. That was it.
- 31:03Speaker 6: That was yesterday. Okay. Yes. Yeah, what is your evil ghost.
- 31:06Speaker 20: Story, Kyle Unfug?
- 31:07Speaker 11: I'll just tell you one of them.
- 31:10Speaker 6: Really?
- 31:10Speaker 20: Yeah.
- 31:11Speaker 11: So this one was the most recent one, and it's wild.
- 31:17Speaker 11: So my son, he would have like these bad nightmares,
- 31:21Speaker 11: and he didn't want to sleep in his room anymore.
- 31:23Speaker 20: And I'm like, you know what?
- 31:24Speaker 11: I'm just going to go sleep in his room. I'm
- 31:25Speaker 11: just going to see like, you know, maybe that'll calm
- 31:28Speaker 11: him down, make him more comfortable to sleep in there.
- 31:30Speaker 11: So he was in his bed and I was on
- 31:32Speaker 11: the rocking chair that I used to rock him to
- 31:34Speaker 11: sleep when he was a baby on. And I'm kind
- 31:36Speaker 11: of curled up in a really uncomfortable position in it.
- 31:38Speaker 11: And I'm sleeping. But then I'm either still sleeping or
- 31:42Speaker 11: I feel like I wake up. And I look into
- 31:46Speaker 11: his bathroom and all of a sudden I see this
- 31:48Speaker 11: like really dark figure come and it lunges at me
- 31:52Speaker 11: and picks me up and like drags me on the
- 31:55Speaker 11: ceiling and then throws me down.
- 31:58Speaker 24: What?
- 31:59Speaker 11: I wasn't actually awake, but I'm like, now I know
- 32:01Speaker 11: why he doesn't want to sleep in that room. And
- 32:03Speaker 11: he hasn't slept in that room since then.
- 32:05Speaker 6: Wait a second.
- 32:06Speaker 11: It was, it felt so real.
- 32:08Speaker 6: Oh, it was a dream. Like it was like half awake,
- 32:10Speaker 6: half asleep. You're on the rocking chair and you're like.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 32:13Speaker 6: Did he ever say he saw a black figure, too?
- 32:16Speaker 7: No.
- 32:18Speaker 11: But he was just very scared. Well, technically, he did
- 32:22Speaker 11: say there's something in his bathroom. So maybe he did,
- 32:24Speaker 11: but he didn't know how to describe it.
- 32:26Speaker 6: All right. Well, that's pretty bad.
- 32:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:28Speaker 16: So, yeah.
- 32:28Speaker 6: Did you wake up in pain?
- 32:29Speaker 9: Is that your bathroom now?
- 32:31Speaker 11: It's his, it's still his bathroom. And we still live
- 32:33Speaker 11: in the same house.
- 32:35Speaker 9: He doesn't sleep in there anymore.
- 32:37Speaker 11: And he actually brushes his teeth in our bathroom.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Really? Do you think Sage is going to stop a
- 32:42Speaker 3: black figure that can throw you on the ceiling and
- 32:44Speaker 3: slap you down? Oh, dark figure.
- 32:46Speaker 9: No, no, but I thought it sounded good. Yeah.
- 32:49Speaker 11: I know a lot of people say the sage, I,
- 32:51Speaker 11: we have prayed over the room and, and a whole,
- 32:54Speaker 11: whole bunch of stuff, but it was definitely an experience
- 32:56Speaker 11: that felt so real. And like the evil presence was
- 33:00Speaker 11: very obvious in there that like, I'm like, okay, I
- 33:03Speaker 11: get it. You don't have to sleep.
- 33:05Speaker 6: You need to have another experience there and see if
- 33:07Speaker 6: you have it again.
- 33:08Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 33:09Speaker 3: And then you need to do one. I talked to that.
- 33:11Speaker 3: We talked to that Wendy, the witch, and I had
- 33:13Speaker 3: her on the late night show that I host sometimes.
- 33:15Speaker 3: And she says that you need to go to, and
- 33:17Speaker 3: I thought this was crazy. She said, Look up a
- 33:20Speaker 3: witch store and just go by a witch store and
- 33:22Speaker 3: they will give you like railroad spikes to protect. You
- 33:25Speaker 3: put it around that area in the ghosts or the
- 33:28Speaker 3: entities can't get through. And I thought, first of all,
- 33:30Speaker 3: that's crazy that she said there's a witch store near me.
- 33:33Speaker 3: But I did Google it and there's like three of
- 33:35Speaker 3: them in Mesa.
- 33:36Speaker 11: But also like railroad spikes don't really feel safe for
- 33:39Speaker 11: a kid's room.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Oh, well, does a dark figure that throws you on
- 33:44Speaker 3: the ceiling feel safe?
- 33:45Speaker 6: Do the horseshoe in front of the door. Doesn't that
- 33:48Speaker 6: bring you good luck? Maybe it'll get rid of the
- 33:50Speaker 6: dark figure.
- 33:51Speaker 3: I'd try it all.
- 33:52Speaker 6: There's a lot of things I would do.
- 33:53Speaker 3: I would try it all.
- 33:54Speaker 6: Well, thank you for bringing that up, Amanda. I'm glad
- 33:57Speaker 6: we got that answer.
- 33:57Speaker 29: Thank you so much.
- 33:58Speaker 6: Have a great day.
- 33:59Speaker 18: Yeah, you too.
- 34:00Speaker 7: Thanks, guys.
- 34:01Speaker 6: Whitney, you have an irrational fear? Yes. What is it?
- 34:06Speaker 9: It is bees.
- 34:07Speaker 22: I'm so scared of bees. Like, it's irrational. I'm so scared.
- 34:11Speaker 22: I think about it every single time I step foot outside.
- 34:14Speaker 22: I have, like, an outdoor cat now.
- 34:17Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 34:17Speaker 22: It just started coming to my house. I'm almost too
- 34:20Speaker 22: scared to feed it sometimes because I'm like, I know
- 34:23Speaker 22: that there's bees out there. I get scared going to
- 34:26Speaker 22: the trash can, putting my baby in the car, like, everything.
- 34:31Speaker 22: As long as I'm outside, and I've never even been
- 34:33Speaker 22: stung by a bee. That's the dumb thing. Never even
- 34:36Speaker 22: been stung by bees. So I don't even know if
- 34:37Speaker 22: it hurts or not.
- 34:38Speaker 6: It's not like if you see the bee, you're just
- 34:41Speaker 6: always worried about bees.
- 34:43Speaker 22: Yeah, I really am. I'm always worried about bees. And
- 34:47Speaker 22: if I do see it, then yeah, I'm like pure panic.
- 34:50Speaker 22: And I don't know what to do.
- 34:51Speaker 11: Do you feel like if you watched Bee Movie, it
- 34:53Speaker 11: might help? Because they're very friendly. They're very important.
- 34:56Speaker 3: That's the wasp you got to look out for. Wasps
- 34:58Speaker 3: are jerks.
- 34:59Speaker 22: That's what my husband says. You have to watch out
- 35:01Speaker 22: for the wasps, not the bees. But I have watched
- 35:04Speaker 22: the B movie because I'm a mom of three girls.
- 35:07Speaker 7: But, no.
- 35:09Speaker 19: I still don't think they're the funniest guys out there.
- 35:13Speaker 22: I want to like them, but I don't know if
- 35:15Speaker 22: I can. I think they're cute. They're fuzzy and cute,
- 35:17Speaker 22: and they have a cute.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Little fuzzy butt.
- 35:19Speaker 8: But, no.
- 35:20Speaker 3: If you went to a haunted house and there was
- 35:22Speaker 3: like a swarm, that would be kind of just a
- 35:25Speaker 3: nut house, wouldn't it?
- 35:26Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 35:26Speaker 3: We would get you.
- 35:27Speaker 6: Whitney would be done.
- 35:28Speaker 22: Oh, my gosh. Yeah, you guys absolutely would.
- 35:31Speaker 8: I haven't thought about it.
- 35:32Speaker 22: It's so scary to me.
- 35:33Speaker 6: How would they do that?
- 35:33Speaker 3: Like little tiny drones or something?
- 35:35Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 35:37Speaker 11: Expensive prank.
- 35:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I know, but.
- 35:39Speaker 3: You would really get Whitney.
- 35:40Speaker 6: Just use real bees. All right. Thanks, Whitney.
- 35:43Speaker 8: Thanks, guys.
- 35:45Speaker 22: Have a great day.
- 35:45Speaker 6: You too. Will, what's your irrational fear?
- 35:49Speaker 26: Guys, let me tell you, glitter, I cannot stand glitter. I, like,
- 35:53Speaker 26: avoid it at all costs. My nieces, my sister has twins,
- 35:58Speaker 26: and she buys them everything with glitter on it, and
- 36:02Speaker 26: I refuse to hug them and anything. I just give
- 36:05Speaker 26: them a bop on the head.
- 36:06Speaker 6: I thought you meant the movie with Mariah Carey.
- 36:09Speaker 26: Yeah, that too. No, but glitter, it freaks me out.
- 36:13Speaker 26: I see it on everything. I see it everywhere. And
- 36:15Speaker 26: it just like, I start itching.
- 36:17Speaker 3: You'll never get it out either.
- 36:18Speaker 6: I won't go to strip joints. Too much glitter.
- 36:21Speaker 26: Oh, that's the worst. When girls have it, glitter in
- 36:23Speaker 26: their lotion.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Oh, I love that. I think that's the best. Oh, no.
- 36:28Speaker 26: Keep your shimmer over there.
- 36:29Speaker 6: All right. Thanks, Will. Thanks.
- 36:31Speaker 9: All right.
- 36:32Speaker 30: No problem.
- 36:33Speaker 6: Michael, good morning. What's your rational fear?
- 36:36Speaker 30: Cotton balls and Q-tips. Yeah.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Cotton balls. There it is.
- 36:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:40Speaker 3: What is it about the cotton balls?
- 36:41Speaker 30: I ain't got a clue. I went to the doctors
- 36:45Speaker 30: one day, and I asked them to use something different.
- 36:48Speaker 30: Other than that, he's like, this is what I got
- 36:50Speaker 30: and put it in my wound, and I punched him out.
- 36:53Speaker 6: Punched him out? What kind of wound did you have?
- 36:55Speaker 6: What was the wound?
- 36:57Speaker 19: I asked him nicely.
- 36:59Speaker 6: Can't do that.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Yeah, what did you get cut by? You should be
- 37:02Speaker 3: afraid of that.
- 37:04Speaker 6: Mailbox. Of course. Sure.
- 37:11Speaker 12: We started off talking about unhinged relationship hacks and Janie,
- 37:16Speaker 12: thanks for holding. You have an unhinged, a relationship hack
- 37:19Speaker 12: that's like, that works though, right?
- 37:22Speaker 9: Yes, it works really well. Okay.
- 37:24Speaker 6: What do you got?
- 37:26Speaker 2: So my husband and I, you guys have.
- 37:27Speaker 9: Talked about this a lot on the show. You're a
- 37:29Speaker 9: sleep divorce. So we're sleep divorced. So we sleep in
- 37:31Speaker 9: separate rooms. But in the morning, when I want sexy time,
- 37:35Speaker 9: I sneak into his room and wake him up with special,
- 37:38Speaker 9: you know, events. And then we have our special sexy
- 37:42Speaker 9: time in the morning, and that keeps our relationship fresh
- 37:44Speaker 9: and happy.
- 37:44Speaker 6: How exciting. What's a special event?
- 37:47Speaker 20: I think you know.
- 37:48Speaker 3: I think you know. The Olympics?
- 37:51Speaker 6: Oh, like he's sleeping and you're waking him up with
- 37:53Speaker 6: this special event.
- 37:54Speaker 11: Special event.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Oh.
- 37:56Speaker 6: Oh, how exciting.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Okay. Yeah, I'm sure he's as happy as he could
- 38:00Speaker 3: possibly be.
- 38:01Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 38:03Speaker 9: You know, theoretically, a sex divorce sounds not sexy, but
- 38:05Speaker 9: it's actually even better.
- 38:07Speaker 6: Does he ever go in and wake you up for
- 38:08Speaker 6: sexy time?
- 38:10Speaker 8: No.
- 38:12Speaker 6: Is that something you mostly like, sexy time in the morning?
- 38:17Speaker 15: Yes, definitely.
- 38:18Speaker 12: You know, I went to dinner with my neighbors, and
- 38:20Speaker 12: they're a great couple. And they were telling me that
- 38:23Speaker 12: the wife also wants sexy time in the morning. That's
- 38:25Speaker 12: the only time she wants sexy time in the morning.
- 38:27Speaker 12: And they have a whole routine where she will want
- 38:29Speaker 12: sexy time in the morning. Then he goes and takes
- 38:31Speaker 12: one of those pills, like a sexy time pill for
- 38:34Speaker 12: a guy. And then she'll go walk the dog around
- 38:36Speaker 12: the block. And when she comes back, the pill is
- 38:38Speaker 12: kicked in.
- 38:39Speaker 6: It's time to go. And they're ready to go.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Well, good for them.
- 38:41Speaker 6: And they're ready to go.
- 38:42Speaker 12: And I was like, and then he gave me one
- 38:43Speaker 12: of these pills and I was terrified to take it.
- 38:45Speaker 12: I still haven't taken it because I don't think Blake
- 38:47Speaker 12: wants sexy time ever.
- 38:49Speaker 6: Not in the morning. Special time, special time. Well, thank you, Janie.
- 38:56Speaker 6: Thanks for listening.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 38:58Speaker 6: Have a good day. Great. More irrational fears. Jessica, what's
- 39:02Speaker 6: your irrational fear?
- 39:05Speaker 16: I have a really good one. I have an irrational
- 39:08Speaker 16: fear of like butterflies and caterpillars.
- 39:12Speaker 11: They're so cute.
- 39:12Speaker 6: I like them both.
- 39:17Speaker 16: They always swore me and I remember going to like Victoria,
- 39:21Speaker 16: Canada and we went to like this butterfly like Emporium
- 39:25Speaker 16: and my dad is 6'3 and I was on his
- 39:28Speaker 16: shoulders and all the butterflies swarmed me. And then in
- 39:32Speaker 16: kindergarten as well, we were raising butterflies, and all the
- 39:36Speaker 16: butterflies flew out of the enclosure and then came straight
- 39:39Speaker 16: to me.
- 39:40Speaker 22: That episode of SpongeBob really just.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Nailed the coffee. That sounds horrifying.
- 39:45Speaker 20: I feel like there's something special about you, Jessica.
- 39:48Speaker 11: Like, why would they come? They all want to be
- 39:50Speaker 11: around you.
- 39:50Speaker 20: Good point.
- 39:51Speaker 6: Because butterflies are beautiful. I'm sure there's a positive. Or
- 39:54Speaker 6: it means something in the spiritual world.
- 39:56Speaker 3: They think she's a witch trying to get rid of her.
- 39:58Speaker 6: Not butterflies. You never see butterflies.
- 40:00Speaker 16: I mean, who knows?
- 40:02Speaker 6: You only hear about toads and newts in the witch world.
- 40:05Speaker 6: You don't hear about butterflies. Butterflies? Butterflies are meditation, happiness.
- 40:11Speaker 8: It's butterflies.
- 40:13Speaker 6: Well, Jessica, thanks for calling in.
- 40:14Speaker 5: No, thank you.
- 40:17Speaker 6: We're going to play Minute to Win It. We need
- 40:19Speaker 6: a contestant.
- 40:21Speaker 16: 877-937-1047.
- 40:21Speaker 6: Speaking of butterflies, my wife and I were hiking the
- 40:23Speaker 6: other day. And on her sweater, there was a caterpillar
- 40:28Speaker 6: on her sweater. She's like, what's this?
- 40:31Speaker 12: And I was like, a caterpillar. And then she freaked
- 40:34Speaker 12: out and shook it off and it fell to the ground.
- 40:36Speaker 12: It felt so bad for the caterpillar.
- 40:38Speaker 6: Actually, if you read, always throws me off when you
- 40:40Speaker 6: spell out caterpillar, it's caterpillar.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Caterpillar.
- 40:44Speaker 6: Caterpillar. I don't know why.
- 40:46Speaker 26: It's a cater.
- 40:47Speaker 6: Spell it out. The hubby cater is cat. C-A-T-E-R.
- 40:51Speaker 11: Why would it be cat?
- 40:52Speaker 6: C-A-T-E-R.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Right.
- 40:54Speaker 7: Cater.
- 40:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:54Speaker 11: Okay. Pillar.
- 40:56Speaker 6: So like you took out C-A-T-E-R. What else? Cater. If
- 41:00Speaker 6: you put an M there, it's mater.
- 41:02Speaker 3: That's why they're so scary.
- 41:04Speaker 6: If you put an L there, it's later. It's not.
- 41:07Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 41:07Speaker 20: Touche.
- 41:08Speaker 7: Cater.
- 41:10Speaker 6: So I was like, oh man, that's a cater pillar. Anyway,
- 41:13Speaker 6: we're gonna play minute to minute. Uh, Last night, I
- 41:17Speaker 6: have to, I almost want to make a video on this.
- 41:20Speaker 6: I'm watching the show on Paramount Plus, which shortly will
- 41:23Speaker 6: be called Skylark, right? Because you know that Paramount got
- 41:25Speaker 6: bought out by Warner Brothers, or the guy, the billionaire,
- 41:28Speaker 6: and they're going to change the name to HB. All
- 41:29Speaker 6: that stuff's going to be called Skylark now. I think Skylark, right? Skydance. Skydance. Skydance.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Skydance.
- 41:37Speaker 6: I'm watching Mobland, and Are you watching moment?
- 41:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:41Speaker 6: Did you watch the episode that came out yesterday?
- 41:43Speaker 3: Oh, yesterday.
- 41:44Speaker 6: No, Friday, I think. Well, whatever day it came out.
- 41:46Speaker 6: There's three episodes now. Kyle, you haven't watched it yet?
- 41:48Speaker 30: No, I haven't.
- 41:48Speaker 6: It's a great show. It is freaking phenomenal TV. It's
- 41:52Speaker 6: phenomenal TV. I'm watching. I just can't. What's it even about?
- 41:58Speaker 12: It's about the mob in England, but it's with Piers
- 42:01Speaker 12: Brosnan and Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren.
- 42:04Speaker 3: They're all three fantastic.
- 42:06Speaker 6: It's just like the acting. I don't know if they've
- 42:07Speaker 6: won any awards or anything, but it's such a great show.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Helen Mirren is just about as wackadoo as you could be,
- 42:13Speaker 3: and she's awesome.
- 42:14Speaker 12: I'm sure she's won Oscars or something. Oh, she has
- 42:16Speaker 12: to have. I don't know much about her, but man.
- 42:19Speaker 12: And she's like in her 80s or something. And she's actually,
- 42:22Speaker 12: I don't know, maybe 70s, 80s, but she's so sexy.
- 42:25Speaker 12: I find her completely attractive. It's crazy.
- 42:28Speaker 3: She's not the best grandma on the show.
- 42:30Speaker 6: She's a terrible grandma. Yeah.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Like doing cocaine with her grandkids.
- 42:34Speaker 11: Is that what's attractive to you?
- 42:37Speaker 12: No, just her whole presence. There's something about her that
- 42:39Speaker 12: I find very sexy. That's another thing we could probably do.
- 42:42Speaker 12: Who do you find sexy that probably isn't sexy?
- 42:44Speaker 6: I mean, she's in her 80s. Sue Ann, good morning.
- 42:49Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 42:50Speaker 6: You are our contestant for minute to win it, Sue Ann.
- 42:55Speaker 6: Where are you?
- 42:56Speaker 21: I can win it this time.
- 42:57Speaker 6: Oh, you've played before?
- 43:00Speaker 16: Yes, I worked for Dave at Elite Shutters and Blinds.
- 43:03Speaker 6: Oh, Elite Shutters and Blinds. Oh, you played not that
- 43:05Speaker 6: long ago, too.
- 43:07Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 43:08Speaker 6: All right.
- 43:08Speaker 16: I got one answer right.
- 43:10Speaker 6: All right. Well, good luck.
- 43:11Speaker 3: Let's hope you do a little better today.
- 43:13Speaker 25: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 43:16Speaker 25: Peoria Ford right now.
- 43:18Speaker 6: Minute to win it.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Okay, 60 seconds starts as soon as I answer or
- 43:22Speaker 3: ask the first question. You got to get them all
- 43:23Speaker 3: right to win. Here we go. What pop star is
- 43:26Speaker 3: known for his hits, including Blinding Lights?
- 43:31Speaker 7: The Weeknd.
- 43:32Speaker 3: What U.S. city is nicknamed the Motor City?
- 43:37Speaker 11: Oh, jeez.
- 43:39Speaker 19: I don't know.
- 43:40Speaker 21: The Motor City, I have no idea.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Got to take a guess.
- 43:46Speaker 6: Tennessee.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Tennessee is a state, not a city. Motor City. Where
- 43:58Speaker 3: do cars come from? Detroit. Detroit, Motor City.
- 44:00Speaker 6: Sue Ann, you can't play anymore.
- 44:01Speaker 8: Really?
- 44:02Speaker 6: You cannot play anymore.
- 44:04Speaker 16: I can't play anymore?
- 44:05Speaker 6: No.
- 44:06Speaker 20: Oh, Sue Ann.
- 44:07Speaker 9: Why not?
- 44:08Speaker 6: Because you only get one right. You've done it twice.
- 44:12Speaker 8: Dang it.
- 44:14Speaker 12: And so many people want to play Minute to Win
- 44:16Speaker 12: It and try to beat the machine. We need to
- 44:17Speaker 12: put your picture next to the phone next to Dylan
- 44:19Speaker 12: and go, no more.
- 44:23Speaker 16: Are you serious?
- 44:24Speaker 26: No.
- 44:25Speaker 6: No, it's fair.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:26Speaker 6: All right.
- 44:28Speaker 16: Anyway, thanks for sending that. Last time I played the
- 44:32Speaker 16: recording to Dave, he played it for me.
- 44:35Speaker 13: Oh, good.
- 44:36Speaker 6: Good.
- 44:37Speaker 16: Yeah, he thought it was the best thing ever.
- 44:39Speaker 6: Tell Dave my blinds in my kitchen are kind of broken.
- 44:42Speaker 6: I need him to come fix it, please.
- 44:45Speaker 16: I will definitely let him know.
- 44:46Speaker 6: All right, thanks. They're like crooked.
- 44:48Speaker 3: All right, bye, guys.
- 44:49Speaker 6: Have a great day.
- 44:49Speaker 8: You too.
- 44:49Speaker 9: Bye.
- 44:50Speaker 6: I think my dogs shoot on the string. That makes sense.
- 44:54Speaker 6: They get their head under to see what's going on. Oh, hey,
- 44:57Speaker 6: this is very exciting. This is very exciting. There's a
- 45:01Speaker 6: firefighter we're going to talk to. I can't wait to
- 45:05Speaker 6: read to you and tell you guys what Noah just
- 45:07Speaker 6: found out about this firefighter. His name is Branson.
- 45:09Speaker 12: And I saw this video on TikTok of Branson. I
- 45:12Speaker 12: don't know what happened at GCU, at Grand Canyon University. Branson,
- 45:15Speaker 12: the fire truck pulls up and he gets out. He's
- 45:18Speaker 12: doing something. And side note, he's really, really good looking.
- 45:22Speaker 12: And there's like, you know, the police line do not cross.
- 45:25Speaker 12: There's all these girls behind it and they're screaming how
- 45:28Speaker 12: attractive he is. This is a clip from the video.
- 45:31Speaker 6: Look.
- 45:37Speaker 3: Are you kidding me? It's like the Harry Styles concert.
- 45:43Speaker 6: The video's gone viral. The video's gone viral because he's
- 45:46Speaker 6: a really good-looking firefighter. Now I've heard the Bachelor's looking
- 45:48Speaker 6: at him. He's interviewed him for Love Island. He's a
- 45:50Speaker 6: really good-looking guy, and I hear he's a really nice guy.
- 45:51Speaker 6: His name's Branson. Branson, good morning.
- 45:55Speaker 7: Good morning, guys.
- 45:56Speaker 6: Everything I said's true, right? I plead the fifth. What
- 46:03Speaker 6: do you mean?
- 46:04Speaker 3: It happened.
- 46:06Speaker 6: Were those girls not screaming for.
- 46:07Speaker 8: You Yeah, they were.
- 46:09Speaker 4: It was definitely an interesting night.
- 46:14Speaker 3: How do you exit a firefighting vehicle looking sexy? Unless
- 46:20Speaker 3: you are out of control. That's all you need to
- 46:22Speaker 3: be is a firefighter. You look sexy automatically, Rich.
- 46:26Speaker 29: Yeah, I don't know.
- 46:27Speaker 4: I just hopped off the truck and, you know, nothing.
- 46:30Speaker 4: I was just doing a regular call. It was a
- 46:34Speaker 4: fire alarm call.
- 46:35Speaker 8: We get a bunch of those at They had college universities.
- 46:38Speaker 4: So, yeah, it was just kind of like a normal call.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Hopped off, you know, did what we did. It wasn't
- 46:47Speaker 4: anything serious, luckily.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Oh, so everybody was evacuated from the building that you
- 46:51Speaker 3: were walking into when you show up. There is cheers.
- 46:54Speaker 4: It was like, I think, I want to say it
- 46:56Speaker 4: was like one in the morning. So all these students were,
- 46:59Speaker 4: you know, outside of the apartments. I don't know, hundreds
- 47:04Speaker 4: of them inside. You know, we just woke up to
- 47:08Speaker 4: the call, came back. When I came back, I was
- 47:13Speaker 4: approached with, oh, you heard it. There was a lot
- 47:16Speaker 4: of screaming and roaring at me. And I just, I
- 47:20Speaker 4: didn't know what was going on. And I, you know,
- 47:22Speaker 4: I was kind of embarrassed.
- 47:25Speaker 12: Well, you kind of like smile and wave at the girls. Hey,
- 47:27Speaker 12: so since then, the video's gone way viral, right? And
- 47:30Speaker 12: you have interviewed, I guess these reality shows have come
- 47:33Speaker 12: after you, right? A couple of them.
- 47:36Speaker 4: Yeah, it was just kind of overnight. One of the
- 47:41Speaker 4: students just posted it. And, yeah, I've had some opportunities,
- 47:48Speaker 4: you know, offered to me.
- 47:49Speaker 8: But, yeah, it was a cool little ride.
- 47:51Speaker 6: Are you going to follow up on that? Are you
- 47:53Speaker 6: going to be on The Bachelor or Love Island?
- 47:57Speaker 4: You know, it's not entirely up to me, but I will.
- 48:01Speaker 6: I've interviewed people.
- 48:06Speaker 4: Um, but you know, there's a lot of people that are,
- 48:09Speaker 4: you know, trying to act for the show and stuff.
- 48:11Speaker 8: Sure.
- 48:12Speaker 6: They reached out to me.
- 48:12Speaker 4: I don't know if it's.
- 48:14Speaker 8: Really my jam, but we're, we'll.
- 48:16Speaker 6: See where it leads.
- 48:17Speaker 11: Let's just say that you got, they said you could
- 48:19Speaker 11: have either show love Island or the bachelor and you're
- 48:24Speaker 11: the bachelor. Which one would you pick?
- 48:27Speaker 6: Oh, that's a great question.
- 48:31Speaker 8: You know, just for grandma's sake, I'd probably say The Bachelor.
- 48:34Speaker 6: Yeah, see, you're a nice guy.
- 48:36Speaker 3: Yeah, he's good.
- 48:37Speaker 6: You know what else would happen, too, is in his sister,
- 48:40Speaker 6: I was on his TikTok, his sister's like, all these
- 48:43Speaker 6: girls would craze for my brother, he's single, I want
- 48:45Speaker 6: to find him a girlfriend, right? Isn't that what she did, too?
- 48:49Speaker 8: Yeah, she was trying to do my wingman, and... get
- 48:53Speaker 8: the entire internet to finally find me a girlfriend.
- 48:56Speaker 4: And it still didn't work.
- 48:58Speaker 6: Hey, are you a Phoenix firefighter or a different city? Yes,
- 49:03Speaker 6: I am. Oh, you are? Hey, you know, my nephew's
- 49:05Speaker 6: a Phoenix firefighter. Oh, boy. What?
- 49:09Speaker 4: He probably gave me some.
- 49:13Speaker 8: Tough love about that video.
- 49:15Speaker 6: What station are you at? I'm not out of the Pacific.
- 49:20Speaker 6: station right now. It's called a Rover. Oh, he was
- 49:22Speaker 6: a Rover.
- 49:23Speaker 12: He just got his own station a little bit ago.
- 49:25Speaker 12: His name is Patrick Cardenas. He's got the big red-haired
- 49:28Speaker 12: handlebar mustache.
- 49:29Speaker 30: No, I do.
- 49:31Speaker 6: Not, but that's awesome.
- 49:32Speaker 8: Congratulations to him.
- 49:33Speaker 6: You've got to look for him. He's a good guy.
- 49:35Speaker 6: He's a good leader. In fact, if it wasn't for him,
- 49:38Speaker 6: He's the reason that my wife called 911 the other
- 49:40Speaker 6: day when we had a gas problem. But anyway, so
- 49:43Speaker 6: Noah texts me a text. Noah says, I did some
- 49:45Speaker 6: research on Mr. GCU hottie. Yeah.
- 49:48Speaker 12: He taught himself how to play piano to impress girls.
- 49:51Speaker 12: I found a video of him playing Adele.
- 49:53Speaker 6: Is this true? Yeah.
- 49:56Speaker 3: In high school, I thought it, I've always wanted to learn.
- 49:58Speaker 4: I have two brothers and they both know how to
- 50:01Speaker 4: play the piano really well. They got lessons when they're
- 50:03Speaker 4: a kid. And when I, you know, was a kid,
- 50:06Speaker 4: my parents were like, nah, we're not going to give it,
- 50:09Speaker 4: sign him up for lessons.
- 50:11Speaker 8: So I was always thought it was like really cool
- 50:13Speaker 8: and charming when they could play.
- 50:14Speaker 4: And so when I was in high school, I was like,
- 50:16Speaker 4: I want to learn how to play piano. So I
- 50:18Speaker 4: just hopped on YouTube and, you know, learn little snippets
- 50:21Speaker 4: of songs.
- 50:22Speaker 6: That's cool. Make it sound like I knew how.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Yeah, that's cool.
- 50:26Speaker 6: Like I knew how to play.
- 50:28Speaker 4: And every time I was at a party, like that.
- 50:30Speaker 8: Was like my little trick, you know, like play something else.
- 50:33Speaker 8: I'm like, Nah, that's okay.
- 50:35Speaker 3: You're like, I just have Adele. Oh, I know Adele.
- 50:39Speaker 8: That's my only one.
- 50:40Speaker 6: Where'd you go to high school?
- 50:42Speaker 8: Seton Catholic in Chandler.
- 50:44Speaker 6: Oh, I know Seton. Very good. Good Catholic school. I
- 50:47Speaker 6: went to Chandler, so you guys are kind of rivals
- 50:48Speaker 6: for us.
- 50:49Speaker 8: Oh, yeah, right there.
- 50:51Speaker 6: Yeah. Well, anyway, good luck to you, man. It's very cool.
- 50:53Speaker 6: We're going to repost the video so everyone can see you. Oh,
- 50:57Speaker 6: that's hilarious. Yeah, so get ready for those DMs, Branson,
- 51:01Speaker 6: the sexy firefighter.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Keeping people safe from fires. Thank you for your work.
- 51:06Speaker 6: Thanks, Branson. No, absolutely.
- 51:07Speaker 8: Thank you, guys. I've been listening to you forever.
- 51:09Speaker 3: Oh, right on.
- 51:10Speaker 6: That's very cool. By the way, is your sister married?
- 51:15Speaker 6: So that's my sister-in-law.
- 51:17Speaker 4: She's married to my brother.
- 51:19Speaker 6: Okay. Are your other brothers married? Your other brother?
- 51:22Speaker 8: He's married and then I have another brother that just
- 51:25Speaker 8: got engaged.
- 51:26Speaker 6: See? So you're the only one.
- 51:27Speaker 3: That's because they actually played piano.
- 51:31Speaker 6: Are you the only firefighter? I am, yeah. Only one
- 51:35Speaker 6: in my family. That's a great job, man. Congratulations, man.
- 51:39Speaker 6: Thank you. Everybody loves a firefighter. Everybody. That's true. And
- 51:42Speaker 6: a good-looking firefighter even more. All right, Branson. Thanks for
- 51:45Speaker 6: jumping on the air with us and thanks for listening.
- 51:46Speaker 30: All right.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Thank you, guys.
- 51:49Speaker 6: If you go to our Instagram, we will post it,
- 51:51Speaker 6: his TikTok And it's a great video. So this is
- 51:54Speaker 6: pretty cool, too. Becky G is coming to the Arizona
- 51:56Speaker 6: State Fair on Friday. And Kiss is celebrating with a

- 52:08Speaker 6: and Fair Trade Cafe with giveaways. Becky G themed drinks,
- 52:13Speaker 6: Mujeres Mercado pop ups and more. Plus, we're going to
- 52:16Speaker 6: have tickets to the show. to give away as well.

- 52:21Speaker 6: It's John Jay and Rich. This is John.
- 52:25Speaker 25: Jay and Rich.
- 52:29Speaker 6: So yesterday we announced Love Pup Family Fest.
- 52:31Speaker 12: It's November 7th at Vertuccio Farms, right? Gavin DeGrasse performing
- 52:35Speaker 12: for free. I believe Gino from America's Got Talent, he's
- 52:39Speaker 12: confirmed he's going to do magic on stage. Rich Bear
- 52:42Speaker 12: Band's performing and Rich, here's a little behind the scenes.
- 52:46Speaker 12: Rich has got a surprise person who's going to jump
- 52:49Speaker 12: on the drums. And I guess that person knows somebody
- 52:52Speaker 12: I know. And they asked me for Rich's phone number.
- 52:56Speaker 12: I think Kyle, you were in here and I said, Rich,
- 52:58Speaker 12: I was too lazy to, you know how you go
- 53:00Speaker 12: to your contacts.
- 53:01Speaker 6: And send shit share? I have Rich under my phone
- 53:04Speaker 6: as Herb. Not my real name. My real name is
- 53:08Speaker 6: actually Rich.
- 53:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 53:09Speaker 12: So I didn't want to send a thing and then go,
- 53:11Speaker 12: why is this under Herb? So I sent it. I
- 53:13Speaker 12: just said to Rich, what's your phone number? Do you
- 53:15Speaker 12: remember that?
- 53:15Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 53:15Speaker 6: And Rich gave me his phone number. Yeah.
- 53:17Speaker 12: So I typed in just his phone number into the text.
- 53:21Speaker 12: And she says to me, she texted me last night.
- 53:23Speaker 12: She goes, hey, by the way. It says that when
- 53:26Speaker 12: I call Rich, it's a guy named, it's Mark Goss.
- 53:29Speaker 12: It's like Mark Goss is the name. And I go,
- 53:31Speaker 12: Mark Goss. And I go, well, did he pick up?
- 53:34Speaker 12: She said, I just called and it was his voicemail.
- 53:36Speaker 12: She was, unless Rich is messing with me. Then I
- 53:37Speaker 12: started thinking, what if Rich's real name is Mark Goss?
- 53:40Speaker 12: We've never known. Stepdad Mark.
- 53:43Speaker 3: He changed it.
- 53:44Speaker 12: So I look at the number that I sent and
- 53:47Speaker 12: I missent the number.
- 53:49Speaker 6: I wrote down the number. I just haven't heard from anybody.
- 53:51Speaker 6: So then I thought, I called Mark Goss this morning.
- 53:54Speaker 10: Wait.
- 53:55Speaker 6: Listen to this. I'm going to call him right now.
- 53:58Speaker 20: Do you know Mark Goss or this is just like
- 54:00Speaker 20: a random?
- 54:00Speaker 6: It's random.
- 54:03Speaker 20: I didn't know if like he sent a different contact.
- 54:05Speaker 6: Listen to how nice he sounds. I'm sure he won't
- 54:07Speaker 6: pick up. I'm sure he'll get his voicemail.
- 54:08Speaker 2: Hi, if you record your name and reason for calling,
- 54:11Speaker 2: I'll see if this person is available.
- 54:12Speaker 6: That's weird. Wait, when I called him, it went right
- 54:15Speaker 6: to his voicemail.
- 54:16Speaker 3: He's probably got his phone on. He just didn't want,
- 54:17Speaker 3: he's screaming.
- 54:18Speaker 6: Yeah, but when I called him five seconds ago, it
- 54:20Speaker 6: went right to his voicemail. I didn't have that thing.
- 54:22Speaker 20: Do you want to pick up?
- 54:23Speaker 3: Hey, Mark Goss. John Jane Rich.
- 54:32Speaker 6: I want to hear his voicemail. I don't want to
- 54:34Speaker 6: talk to him.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Hey, if you record your name and reason for calling,
- 54:38Speaker 2: I'll see if this person is available.
- 54:40Speaker 6: Well, just call him again. I left him a voicemail before.
- 54:43Speaker 6: Unless he picks up.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Hey, Mark.
- 54:45Speaker 30: Oh, Mark.
- 54:45Speaker 6: Mark Goss. It's John Jay calling again. I wanted to
- 54:47Speaker 6: hear your voicemail. And then what? Will he pick up?
- 54:51Speaker 6: How does this work?
- 54:51Speaker 3: He might.
- 54:52Speaker 15: Send.
- 54:52Speaker 6: Send.
- 54:54Speaker 10: Send. Pound.
- 54:55Speaker 6: Transmute.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Transmute. Operator. Say operator.
- 55:00Speaker 11: Does it wait for you to stop?
- 55:02Speaker 16: Oh.
- 55:02Speaker 14: Oh.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Oh. Here comes Mark.
- 55:05Speaker 6: I wanted his voice to be off.
- 55:06Speaker 11: So, but if Mark doesn't... Oh.
- 55:09Speaker 10: Oh.
- 55:09Speaker 29: Let me just try one more time.
- 55:12Speaker 6: Maybe he didn't hang up on purpose.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Tell you what. That was me I would have picked
- 55:15Speaker 3: up by now.
- 55:15Speaker 20: I think he hung up on purpose.
- 55:17Speaker 6: Mm-hmm. You probably think he's on War of the Roses.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Hi, if you record your name for calling, I'll see
- 55:24Speaker 2: if this person is available.
- 55:25Speaker 11: You have to record your name.
- 55:28Speaker 6: Oh, hey, Mark, it's John Jay again.
- 55:31Speaker 3: Send.
- 55:33Speaker 6: Pick up, please. I don't know if you got, if
- 55:37Speaker 6: you hung up on me. First time.
- 55:38Speaker 3: John Jay doesn't really call people.
- 55:40Speaker 6: This is a whole new thing, I think.
- 55:41Speaker 3: I never. It's not that new.
- 55:43Speaker 20: Well, how does it work? Does it wait for you
- 55:45Speaker 20: to just stop talking and then it sends it?
- 55:47Speaker 3: No, I mean, I think while.
- 55:48Speaker 2: You stay on the line.
- 55:49Speaker 6: Yeah, we try. If he hangs up.
- 55:50Speaker 3: He'll probably pick up now.
- 55:51Speaker 6: I hope so.
- 55:53Speaker 12: His voicemail was so nice. I wonder if he's related
- 55:59Speaker 12: to Jerry Goss. I grew up with a Jerry Goss. Oh,
- 56:02Speaker 12: Mark doesn't want to talk to us. Mark is not
- 56:03Speaker 12: War of the Roses.
- 56:04Speaker 3: You think he's a nice guy. He seems nice.
- 56:08Speaker 6: Oh, my bad, my bad.
- 56:09Speaker 3: He's going to ruin this whole thing, the whole band thing.
- 56:11Speaker 11: We can't bother him anymore.
- 56:12Speaker 12: I wrote down the wrong number and gave her Mark Goss' number.
- 56:15Speaker 12: I don't know who Mark is, but I just sent
- 56:16Speaker 12: her your right number, Rich.
- 56:18Speaker 6: Okay. All right. Sarah, you got advice for Kyle on what?
- 56:20Speaker 6: What's up? Hi, you're on the air.
- 56:25Speaker 11: Oh, hi.
- 56:26Speaker 21: Yeah, I just wanted to give Kyle advice about the
- 56:28Speaker 21: evil spirit in our house.
- 56:29Speaker 15: Yes.
- 56:31Speaker 21: Yeah, so I've had one of those before where my
- 56:33Speaker 21: son was also scared to sleep in his room. And
- 56:38Speaker 21: my old boss actually told me what you have to
- 56:39Speaker 21: do is you have to put salt around all of
- 56:42Speaker 21: the doors and windows in your house because that's how
- 56:45Speaker 21: they get in.
- 56:46Speaker 10: And then.
- 56:50Speaker 21: You go into the room and at night, whenever it's
- 56:52Speaker 21: like most present that you're going to see the evil spirit,
- 56:56Speaker 21: you have to tell it to go away and to
- 56:59Speaker 21: leave your family alone. And you might have to like
- 57:01Speaker 21: repeat it a few times, but that's the only thing
- 57:04Speaker 21: that worked to get it out of my house. And
- 57:06Speaker 21: it's never come back.
- 57:07Speaker 20: I wonder what the salt is. They just don't like
- 57:11Speaker 20: good seasoning?
- 57:12Speaker 21: No, just like regular table salt.
- 57:16Speaker 6: So do you get to clean up the salt? You
- 57:17Speaker 6: have to leave it there?
- 57:19Speaker 21: Um, I left it there for maybe like a week
- 57:22Speaker 21: or two, but then, you know, eventually whenever you clean,
- 57:25Speaker 21: it comes up, but that's how you get them out.
- 57:29Speaker 6: You could also get across, walk in the room and go,
- 57:31Speaker 6: the power of Christ compels you.
- 57:32Speaker 3: I mean, I would go, I would go the religious
- 57:34Speaker 3: route over than just salt.
- 57:35Speaker 7: I did.
- 57:35Speaker 11: I did say that something to that extent.
- 57:38Speaker 6: I had, we had a Bishop wall.
- 57:41Speaker 3: The Bish.
- 57:42Speaker 12: The Bish came over and I had him do a
- 57:43Speaker 12: whole blessing in my house.
- 57:45Speaker 6: I was like, get those evil spirits out of here.
- 57:46Speaker 3: I mean, I think whenever you move somewhere, it's good
- 57:48Speaker 3: to have a blessing.
- 57:49Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 57:50Speaker 6: Well, Sarah, thanks for that. Yeah, thank you. That worked
- 57:53Speaker 6: for her, so why not?
- 57:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 57:55Speaker 6: Thanks, Sarah. Okay, have a good day.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Have a great day.
- 58:01Speaker 26: All for you.
- 58:01Speaker 12: All right, we're going to get to dumb ways you
- 58:09Speaker 12: hurt yourself, but first I want to give you an
- 58:10Speaker 12: update on Mark Goss.
- 58:11Speaker 11: Okay.
- 58:12Speaker 12: Mark Goss is a guy. I was giving Rich's number.
- 58:14Speaker 12: I was off by one digit when I gave Rich's
- 58:17Speaker 12: number to somebody, so I called Mark Goss.
- 58:18Speaker 6: He didn't pick up. He refused to pick up. I
- 58:21Speaker 6: Googled him. There's three Mark Gosses.
- 58:24Speaker 13: Okay.
- 58:25Speaker 6: One is a lawyer.
- 58:26Speaker 27: Uh-huh.
- 58:27Speaker 6: One is a kayak champion fisherman.
- 58:30Speaker 3: That's sweet.
- 58:31Speaker 6: And the other one is a podiatrist.
- 58:33Speaker 11: A foot doctor?
- 58:35Speaker 3: Kayak legend, though. You don't meet many kayak legends. Bass fisher, fisherman.
- 58:38Speaker 3: He's on a kayak fishing. No wonder he can't answer
- 58:41Speaker 3: his phone.
- 58:41Speaker 20: Let's hope it's that one.
- 58:42Speaker 3: He's out there tackling the waves.
- 58:44Speaker 6: I don't want to be a lawyer guy. You just
- 58:45Speaker 6: need to get some sort of cease and desist.
- 58:47Speaker 3: My phone number next door neighbor is a badass.
- 58:49Speaker 15: Yeah, I know.
- 58:50Speaker 14: I know.
- 58:51Speaker 12: Anyway, dumb ways you hurt yourself. We're going to get
- 58:53Speaker 12: into why Kyle hurt herself, Rich hurt himself. But, Tina,
- 58:56Speaker 12: what's a dumb way you hurt yourself?
- 58:58Speaker 18: Oh, my goodness.
- 58:59Speaker 19: Okay.
- 58:59Speaker 5: Okay.
- 59:00Speaker 18: So picture this. I'm in my office in my house
- 59:02Speaker 18: on my treadmill, and I got footloose going in my earbuds,
- 59:07Speaker 18: and I'm just going away.
- 59:08Speaker 9: And I.
- 59:10Speaker 18: Tripped, hit the side of the treadmill, flew into the
- 59:13Speaker 18: closet door. The closet door fell on top of me,
- 59:16Speaker 18: landed on my head, knocked me out. And then when
- 59:20Speaker 18: I woke up, I had to crawl to the phone
- 59:22Speaker 18: to call 911.
- 59:23Speaker 3: You poor thing.
- 59:24Speaker 18: Oh, my gosh. Oh, it was a mess. I had
- 59:27Speaker 18: the worst bruises ever. And road burns all over my body.
- 59:31Speaker 3: All you were trying to do was work on your fitness.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Poor thing. Well, now I'm outside.
- 59:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 59:37Speaker 18: Now I stick to the outdoors.
- 59:38Speaker 3: I think that's smart.
- 59:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 59:40Speaker 14: Thank you, guys.
- 59:41Speaker 22: I love you all.
- 59:42Speaker 6: Hey, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What's the
- 59:45Speaker 6: 911 call? What do you say on the 911 call?
- 59:48Speaker 18: Well, I said I fell off my treadmill.
- 59:50Speaker 16: I'm home alone.
- 59:51Speaker 18: What do I do? And they did. They didn't send
- 59:54Speaker 18: an ambulance.
- 59:55Speaker 9: They sent.
- 59:57Speaker 18: fire squad out to help me up and see if
- 59:59Speaker 18: I was okay. And I did go to the emergency
- 1:00:02Speaker 18: room though, because I had such a big hematoma on
- 1:00:04Speaker 18: my hip that they wanted to make sure I didn't
- 1:00:07Speaker 18: break my hip.
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: So how'd they get in your house?
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: Exciting.
- 1:00:12Speaker 18: Oh, the door is unlocked.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: And then you walk, they walk in and there you
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: are under a closet door. Oh yeah.
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:17Speaker 9: Earbuds still in my ear.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Almost ironic. It's almost ironic that it was Footloose because
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: she was not Footloose.
- 1:00:30Speaker 18: No, I wasn't.
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: Oh, Tina, thanks for calling in. Thank you, Tina.
- 1:00:34Speaker 18: Thank you, guys.
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: Bye-bye.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: Tim, stupid way you hurt yourself.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: Hey, morning, guys.
- 1:00:40Speaker 15: So years and years ago, do you remember what a
- 1:00:45Speaker 15: skip it was? Yeah.
- 1:00:47Speaker 11: Isn't that the.
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: Thing that's on one ankle and you spin it and jump?
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: Skip it was awesome.
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: Is that what it was?
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: Yeah, totally.
- 1:00:55Speaker 15: Yep, you got it. So I was a senior in
- 1:00:57Speaker 15: high school. It was in my sister's basement. And I
- 1:01:01Speaker 15: was playing with my nieces and nephews. And I threw
- 1:01:03Speaker 15: this Skip It.
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: On and was just whipping it around, whipping it around.
- 1:01:08Speaker 15: And when, I guess, my shoe got caught in the
- 1:01:13Speaker 15: carpet and... Twisted my knee and I blew my knee out.
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: MCL, MCL.
- 1:01:19Speaker 15: Oh, man.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Oh, multiple knee injuries.
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: Yeah, completely blew it out.
- 1:01:26Speaker 15: My sister was sitting there and she, like, the sound
- 1:01:28Speaker 15: of the popping and cracking was like fireworks, basically.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: Yeah, that's the way I embarrass myself in front of
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: my nieces and nephews.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: When you feel it go, it goes.
- 1:01:42Speaker 26: Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:42Speaker 30: Exactly.
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: All right, Tim.
- 1:01:44Speaker 12: Thanks for calling in. Hey, by the way, we have
- 1:01:45Speaker 12: tickets to the 13th floor haunted house. We can give
- 1:01:49Speaker 12: that to the best way.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: It looks cool.
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: The way you hear yourself, which we should have given
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: to Tina because I can't see anybody being that.
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: No.
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: But you never know. No. How'd you hear yourself, Kyle?
- 1:01:57Speaker 11: Tina shared her story.
- 1:01:58Speaker 20: It made me feel a lot better.
- 1:01:59Speaker 11: But mine is why stupid or like hers was just like,
- 1:02:02Speaker 11: that's insane. It's more stupid. I felt really dumb because
- 1:02:05Speaker 11: I did it twice. So I'm making dinner yesterday and
- 1:02:08Speaker 11: I've got French fries in the air fryer and I
- 1:02:10Speaker 11: pull them out and I'm like, I'm just going to,
- 1:02:11Speaker 11: you know what? I know it's hot in there, but
- 1:02:13Speaker 11: I think I can handle it. Meanwhile, French fries were
- 1:02:16Speaker 11: cooking at 400 degrees, whatever. So I hold the air
- 1:02:19Speaker 11: fryer pan and I just put my hand in barehanded
- 1:02:23Speaker 11: into the air fryer and grab some French fries. And
- 1:02:25Speaker 11: I'm like, ah, and they're hot. And I went in again, ah,
- 1:02:28Speaker 11: and I'm like, it's fine. So later that night, I
- 1:02:31Speaker 11: was also reheating a little dessert thing as if I
- 1:02:34Speaker 11: didn't learn my lesson earlier. This puppy also reheated at
- 1:02:38Speaker 11: 400 degrees. I went in to grab it and it
- 1:02:41Speaker 11: was like my fingers had had enough. And it was
- 1:02:44Speaker 11: like almost like I could hear the skin sizzle. It
- 1:02:46Speaker 11: was like, oh, that's terrible. Like, why did I do that?
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: That was so dumb. So it's been the next few minutes, like,
- 1:02:55Speaker 11: you know, going to get the burn cream, putting an
- 1:02:57Speaker 11: ice pack on it, just going like, well, why would
- 1:02:59Speaker 11: I do that? That was so dumb. It was so dumb.
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: I knew it was hot. So you even put burn cream.
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: Was that bad? You had to get burn cream on?
- 1:03:05Speaker 11: Oh, and it was throbbing for like a full hour afterwards.
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: Oh, my God. Let me see your finger.
- 1:03:10Speaker 11: I can see the little, there's a little dot.
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: Oh, you got a little circle.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Let me see.
- 1:03:15Speaker 12: You're like the little circle that the lantern has. On lanterns,
- 1:03:21Speaker 12: two people like burn to death, but this alien can
- 1:03:24Speaker 12: reskin them and they get all new skin, but it has.
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: A little circle. On there, right on wherever they do that.
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: So it's just like that.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: It's like a little branding mark.
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: But then again, one of the Manhunters got pregnant because
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: of that.
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: It's true.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: What?
- 1:03:35Speaker 12: Don't give away too much of the plot. How about, okay,
- 1:03:38Speaker 12: hold on. We'll say hi to Christina, and then we'll
- 1:03:39Speaker 12: get to the really stupid way Richard saw. Christina, stupid
- 1:03:43Speaker 12: way you heard yourself.
- 1:03:44Speaker 19: Hi.
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: Hi.
- 1:03:46Speaker 19: So I broke both of my feet in getting smashed
- 1:03:50Speaker 19: in between two vehicles because my dad told me if
- 1:03:54Speaker 19: the tow strap gets caught under the tire... Put your
- 1:03:58Speaker 19: feet down and try to stop the truck. I thought
- 1:04:01Speaker 19: he was serious.
- 1:04:02Speaker 9: So I did it.
- 1:04:03Speaker 19: The tow strap got caught under the car. And I
- 1:04:07Speaker 19: put my feet out and it got caught on the
- 1:04:09Speaker 19: bumper of the car we were towing.
- 1:04:10Speaker 17: And then here I am.
- 1:04:12Speaker 19: With two broken feet.
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: Oh, that's so beautiful.
- 1:04:16Speaker 11: I bet you your dad felt so guilty.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: He's like, why would you listen to that advice?
- 1:04:21Speaker 20: Why would you think that was serious?
- 1:04:22Speaker 10: I know.
- 1:04:22Speaker 25: He said.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:04:24Speaker 19: He said I wasn't serious. I was like, oh, well,
- 1:04:27Speaker 19: I mean, I listened to my dad, so here we are.
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: Okay, Christina, thank you. Arisa, stupid way you hurt yourself.
- 1:04:36Speaker 18: Hi, good morning, guys.
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 1:04:39Speaker 23: The stupidest way I've ever hurt myself was I was
- 1:04:43Speaker 23: always too short to reach the top cabinets, and my
- 1:04:46Speaker 23: dad hated when we climbed on, like, the cabinets to
- 1:04:49Speaker 23: reach anything or, like, climb on the chairs. So when
- 1:04:52Speaker 23: no one was in the kitchen, I jumped on top
- 1:04:54Speaker 23: of the cabinet and grabbed something, and I jumped backwards
- 1:04:58Speaker 23: off the cabinet because my body was facing the cabinet,
- 1:05:01Speaker 23: and I landed on my foot wrong, and I legit, like,
- 1:05:04Speaker 23: broke my whole, all my toes, and then, like, the
- 1:05:08Speaker 23: center of my foot.
- 1:05:09Speaker 13: Oh, my God.
- 1:05:10Speaker 23: And the worst part about that is they didn't believe me.
- 1:05:12Speaker 23: They didn't believe me. So, like, I'm a kid of, like,
- 1:05:15Speaker 23: eight kids, and so that day we were planning to
- 1:05:18Speaker 23: go to a bunch of stores, and they're like, you're lying, Arisa, like,
- 1:05:21Speaker 23: You're just being dramatic because, you know, I was always
- 1:05:22Speaker 23: known as the dramatic kid. And so we went to
- 1:05:24Speaker 23: like 10 stores. I'm hopping around the whole entire, like
- 1:05:28Speaker 23: all the stores. And then finally my dad's.
- 1:05:31Speaker 19: Like, okay, we'll take her to the urgent care.
- 1:05:32Speaker 23: We'll see what's going on. And then, yep, they came
- 1:05:35Speaker 23: back in and they're like, yeah, she broke all her
- 1:05:36Speaker 23: toes and like the center of her foot.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: And I'm just sitting there like, I told you so.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: I hope you let that hang over your parents to
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: this day.
- 1:05:45Speaker 21: And, no, he talks.
- 1:05:46Speaker 23: About it to this day, and, like, if my siblings
- 1:05:48Speaker 23: are sick, he's like, okay, well, Arisa went a whole
- 1:05:50Speaker 23: day with a broken foot.
- 1:05:52Speaker 8: That's funny.
- 1:05:55Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: So it's your badge of honor.
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: Arisa, you want to go to the haunted house, 13th floor?
- 1:06:01Speaker 23: Yes, I would love to.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: It's crazy.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Stay off the cabinets in there.
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: It's scary, very, very scary. But hold on. We'll set
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: you up with tickets. Hold on.
- 1:06:09Speaker 23: Okay, sounds good.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: Thanks, Lucy. Kyle, what do we got coming up in
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: entertainment news?
- 1:06:12Speaker 11: You'll find out why Justin Timberlake suddenly felt the need
- 1:06:15Speaker 11: to publicly apologize. Next, with John Jane Rich.
- 1:06:19Speaker 15: They stabbed this way, stabbed that way. They stabbed this way,
- 1:06:23Speaker 15: stabbed that way.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: What's going on in the entertainment world, Colin Fogg?
- 1:06:31Speaker 11: Okay, this is actually pretty wild, if it's true. At
- 1:06:35Speaker 11: this point, it is kind of a rumor, but apparently
- 1:06:38Speaker 11: Kanye West is not over the Taylor Swift feud and
- 1:06:42Speaker 11: is planning some revenge. So according to sources, he wants
- 1:06:47Speaker 11: Blake Lively to team up with him to get some
- 1:06:50Speaker 11: sort of revenge on Taylor Swift because he knows the
- 1:06:53Speaker 11: feud between them. They had the feud. That is what
- 1:06:56Speaker 11: one source is saying. The other source is saying Blake
- 1:06:59Speaker 11: would never team up with Kanye because she still really
- 1:07:02Speaker 11: hopes to rekindle things with Taylor Swift one day.
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't want to stay enemies with Taylor, I
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: wouldn't think.
- 1:07:09Speaker 11: Yeah, I don't think they're going to rekindle that friendship.
- 1:07:11Speaker 11: But you never know, right? You absolutely never know. I also,
- 1:07:14Speaker 11: I would think Kanye would be over it by now.
- 1:07:17Speaker 11: He's got other things to worry about. Justin Timberlake, a
- 1:07:21Speaker 11: video that went viral, made his way over to him.
- 1:07:25Speaker 11: And the video came from a woman named Hannah Young,
- 1:07:28Speaker 11: who was reminiscing about Justin Timberlake in his earlier career days.
- 1:07:34Speaker 16: No, Hannah.
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:07:35Speaker 14: Because there was a moment in time where that man
- 1:07:38Speaker 14: would be in the middle of a song and just
- 1:07:41Speaker 14: boots and cats, boots and cats. And we were like, yes,
- 1:07:44Speaker 14: there he is. Nobody questioned it. Nobody said, Justin, you know,
- 1:07:50Speaker 14: we have drums. You couldn't stop them. Award shows, live performances.
- 1:07:55Speaker 14: You gave that man a microphone and there was always
- 1:07:58Speaker 14: a chance he was about to go boots and cats,
- 1:08:01Speaker 14: boots and cats. And we liked it. That's what I
- 1:08:04Speaker 14: need us to sit with.
- 1:08:05Speaker 11: She's not wrong because here is Justin Timberlake back in
- 1:08:09Speaker 11: the day and the crowd going wild for the Boots
- 1:08:12Speaker 11: and Cats.
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: Yeah, that's me. Piano, hit me.
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: Bass, hit me.
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: This is a trap.
- 1:08:32Speaker 29: The crowd loves it.
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: It's pretty cool. It's hard. I mean, it's really hard
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: to do. I was just hanging out with Timbaland. He
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: was doing it a lot, too. And Timbaland's good, too.
- 1:08:42Speaker 11: So someone someone sent Justin Timbaland that video and he
- 1:08:46Speaker 11: enjoyed it so much that he has now issued an
- 1:08:49Speaker 11: apology saying he had too many ambitions and joked too
- 1:08:54Speaker 11: many boots, too many cats. Although he did warn us it.
- 1:09:00Speaker 11: may happen again at some point, just.
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: To warn you.
- 1:09:02Speaker 11: I love that. A contestant on The Voice apparently did
- 1:09:06Speaker 11: her homework because she specifically picked a Bonnie Raitt song
- 1:09:09Speaker 11: called Love Me Like a Man, knowing Kelly Clarkson loved it,
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: hoping Kelly Clarkson as a coach would turn her chair.
- 1:09:17Speaker 11: She sang it, all four coaches turn their chair. And
- 1:09:20Speaker 11: so as they're arguing, trying to get her to pick them,
- 1:09:24Speaker 11: Kelly Clarkson said she really does love that song. You know,
- 1:09:27Speaker 11: people are like, what do you sing in the shower?
- 1:09:29Speaker 10: That's the song I sing in the shower.
- 1:09:31Speaker 8: It is.
- 1:09:31Speaker 20: There's one Aretha.
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: And there's one Bonnie.
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: I sing that song in the shower too.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: I'm telling you.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: I sing it every day. Girl, I have won this show.
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: I've won another show. I can win.
- 1:09:40Speaker 10: I can win.
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: I watched that whole segment. That girl, by the way,
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: was dynamite. She started off kind of mellow, but then
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: when she started crushing it, Everybody looked around.
- 1:09:49Speaker 11: She picked a Kelly Clarkson.
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: Oh, she did?
- 1:09:50Speaker 11: I mean, she picked the song hoping Kelly would turn
- 1:09:53Speaker 11: for her. So, yeah.
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: Let me ask you something. Blake Shelton is not on
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: that show anymore?
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: No.
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: I just saw him post something on Instagram yesterday that
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: his sister, because, you know, your family promotes, like, I
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: promote my sister. She's on, you know, works with Mr. Beast,
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: and he promotes his sister. open up a hyperbaric chamber
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: store in Oklahoma city where you go in there and
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: you get hyperbaric.
- 1:10:14Speaker 11: I was like, that's cool.
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: I would totally go in there just because it's Blake
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: Shelton's sister.
- 1:10:18Speaker 11: And probably that's what he's hoping. She's like, Hey, can
- 1:10:21Speaker 11: you post businesses a little slow? You're also Blake Shelton.
- 1:10:24Speaker 11: So that's pretty awesome.
- 1:10:27Speaker 16: Okay.
- 1:10:27Speaker 11: You remember I was like a big news a few,
- 1:10:29Speaker 11: like maybe a week or two ago, like, Ella Langley
- 1:10:32Speaker 11: isn't single anymore. She's dating country star Tucker Wetmore.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:36Speaker 11: But neither one of them have actually confirmed that. So
- 1:10:39Speaker 11: I guess Tucker Wetmore was doing like this thing where
- 1:10:42Speaker 11: people were asking him questions. And they asked him directly
- 1:10:45Speaker 11: to kind of like confirm the relationship. Next question. He's
- 1:10:59Speaker 11: not going to say. Why not just say?
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: She could?
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: I think you probably don't want to be the guy
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: that kiss and tell.
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: You're right.
- 1:11:06Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:11:08Speaker 11: So Shemar Moore, a very attractive, super attractive celebrity, right,
- 1:11:13Speaker 11: just admitted that there is a part of him he
- 1:11:16Speaker 11: is a little embarrassed of.
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: You know, I got these eyebrows. You know, I done
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: paid a lot of money for these teeth, so I
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: got a big old smile.
- 1:11:23Speaker 29: You know, I tried to do a couple sit-ups so
- 1:11:25Speaker 29: I could lift that shirt.
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: But the lower and the lower we go.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: We get to around my ankles.
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: Shemar Moore got some ugly feet.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: All right, boy, hammer time, hammer time.
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: I've had three surgeries.
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: For real?
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: On my feet.
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: Because God took a nap when he was making my feet.
- 1:11:45Speaker 11: Well, God was like, I made you too beautiful.
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: You need to do something.
- 1:11:48Speaker 11: Something has to be wrong with this man.
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: That's pretty funny.
- 1:11:50Speaker 11: Yeah, he said it was. Bunions, but they're kind of
- 1:11:52Speaker 11: all better now after three surgeries. Diddy, you guys, just
- 1:11:55Speaker 11: lost another legal fight, this time with NBC. So you
- 1:11:59Speaker 11: guys remember when they dropped the Diddy, the Making of
- 1:12:01Speaker 11: a Bad Boy documentary, he sued them for defamation. Well,
- 1:12:05Speaker 11: they won, and he now has to pay them almost
- 1:12:08Speaker 11: a half a million dollars.
- 1:12:10Speaker 6: He sued them and they won?
- 1:12:11Speaker 11: Yeah. But the good, I mean, the half a million
- 1:12:14Speaker 11: dollars is actually the good news because NBC was actually
- 1:12:18Speaker 11: asking for almost a million dollars to pay for their
- 1:12:21Speaker 11: legal fees and they awarded them half of it. But yeah,
- 1:12:24Speaker 11: definitely lost that legal battle.
- 1:12:26Speaker 6: I started to watch that show War on HBO. Yeah,
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: what'd you think? You watch it, Kyle?
- 1:12:30Speaker 14: No.
- 1:12:31Speaker 6: You know, I'm hearing a lot of good things about it.
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: In fact, I've already heard that they've already done a
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: season two with other actors. So I don't know if
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: it's like one law case, but it's there's a little
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: twist at the end. And I was like, OK, I
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: could see this. The bummer is it didn't go into
- 1:12:48Speaker 6: episode two. Like for a show like that, like Apple
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: does this great thing where they give you three episodes
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: or two episodes right away. So you kind of get
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: into it.
- 1:12:56Speaker 11: So there's only one episode out.
- 1:12:57Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: And I'm like, man, you got I'm here right now.
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: I'm watching this show. I got you. I'm in.
- 1:13:03Speaker 11: But it didn't hook you.
- 1:13:04Speaker 12: It didn't hook me to like now I'm going to
- 1:13:05Speaker 12: look for the next episode. I wish it would have
- 1:13:06Speaker 12: gotten into the next episode. But there is potential. I'm
- 1:13:09Speaker 12: telling you right now there is potential.
- 1:13:10Speaker 11: I did watch the final episode of Last Scene.
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: The one that came out today?
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:13:15Speaker 11: It kind of broke my heart a little bit. Yeah,
- 1:13:19Speaker 11: it did.
- 1:13:20Speaker 6: That's like my whole day is planned around that today
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: after one o'clock today. It was to watch it.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: Did you watch the Widowmaker documentary yet?
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: No, that's what I was telling you guys about.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: I watched it yesterday. So what's good is it's one
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: and done. You don't have to sit through a bunch
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: of episodes.
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: It's the guy with married six times, four wives dead.
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: It's real compelling from the... From the jump, and they
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: don't waste a lot of time. They get you to, like, the.
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: Is he still free?
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: He is not.
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: Oh, okay.
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: Well, that's good.
- 1:13:44Speaker 20: What streaming service is that on?
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: Netflix.
- 1:13:46Speaker 11: Oh, okay.
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: I think it's number one or number two on movies
- 1:13:49Speaker 6: on Netflix.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a good watch, and you will be surprised
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: at how he almost got away with everything.
- 1:13:55Speaker 12: Sombra tickets on the line right now, but only if
- 1:13:57Speaker 12: you can win Beach Shazam.
- 1:13:59Speaker 13: 877-937-1047.
- 1:13:59Speaker 12: You can play after Rihanna. All right, we got tickets
- 1:14:13Speaker 12: to Sombra. Lauren's our contestant. Good morning, Lauren.
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: How are you?
- 1:14:19Speaker 11: I am amazing.
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: How are you guys?
- 1:14:20Speaker 13: Good.
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: We're going to play a game. Nick is the host. Nick,
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: what are we playing?
- 1:14:23Speaker 29: You guys, today we are playing a game called Beat Shazam.
- 1:14:26Speaker 29: You have to guess the title and the artist of
- 1:14:28Speaker 29: songs in seven seconds, okay? Today's theme, I have a
- 1:14:32Speaker 29: son in preschool. I coach his preschool soccer team. They
- 1:14:36Speaker 29: drove me crazy yesterday. So we're doing a preschool theme.
- 1:14:40Speaker 29: The first round is number based. So songs with numbers
- 1:14:46Speaker 29: in the title.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Clever.
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: The second round. has colors in the title. Okay? All right.
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: We're going to start with John Jay. Oh, God. Ariana Grande.
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: Uh-huh.
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: These are valuable things. One, seven things. Seven fingers, seven rings.
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: These are beautiful.
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: You know what?
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: I'm going to take that. I actually think Seven Fingers
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: is probably the better title. So, all right. Two points
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: for John Jay in round one.
- 1:15:15Speaker 8: Rich?
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Oh, Justin Bieber.
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: One time.
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: I'm going to tell you one time.
- 1:15:23Speaker 29: Uno time is correct. Good job, Reg. Two points for you.
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: Kyle.
- 1:15:39Speaker 11: I know that song so well. It's once I was
- 1:15:41Speaker 11: 11 years old.
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: Once you were 11 years old. It's close. Lucas Graham,
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: seven years.
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: Lucas Graham. I would not have gotten that. I would
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: have forgotten that.
- 1:15:52Speaker 11: Throwback.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: It was a little bit of a tough one.
- 1:15:54Speaker 6: Nice try.
- 1:15:55Speaker 11: Challenge.
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: It's you did rhyme the words. We'll give you a
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: half point because that's what we work on preschool as well.
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: Lauren, you ready?
- 1:16:03Speaker 10: I'm ready.
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: Let's go.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: Let's go.
- 1:16:15Speaker 29: That's right. So Lauren, Rich and John J each have
- 1:16:19Speaker 29: two points. Kyle has a half point. We'll begin round two. Again,
- 1:16:23Speaker 29: this is songs with a color in the title.
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: John J. Pink Pony Club.
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: Chaperone.
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: Chaperone. Pink Pony Club. Two points for John Jay. Takes
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: a commanding lead with four points.
- 1:16:36Speaker 26: Richard.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: The color is golden. Or gold, I guess. Huntrix.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: Good job.
- 1:16:48Speaker 10: Ties it up.
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: Richard.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Kyle.
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: Color-based song.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: Losing him is blue like I never did.
- 1:16:59Speaker 11: She said blue a couple times, so I'm going to
- 1:17:01Speaker 11: pick blue.
- 1:17:01Speaker 6: You're going to pick blue?
- 1:17:03Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:17:03Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: I was really hoping you were going.
- 1:17:06Speaker 11: To give me, I'm blue, I'll need.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: A blue hat.
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: I have blue in my head, so I'm just picking blue.
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: Do you know who that was?
- 1:17:13Speaker 7: Nope.
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: Okay. Taylor Swift, and that song was called Red.
- 1:17:17Speaker 26: No.
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: Oh, that's that song?
- 1:17:19Speaker 29: You did guess another color, so I'll give you another
- 1:17:21Speaker 29: half point. Kyle has one point in today's game for
- 1:17:24Speaker 29: guessing what something is a color, actually.
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: All right. Lauren, I'll give you 15 points if you
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: can get this. Here we go.
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: Push to start.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:33Speaker 16: Uh-huh.
- 1:17:34Speaker 8: Black and yellow.
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: Guys, she did it.
- 1:17:37Speaker 8: Good job, Lauren.
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: There were two colors in that song.
- 1:17:44Speaker 26: Wow.
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: I'm just a silly boy today, guys.
- 1:17:46Speaker 11: Extra points for another color.
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: She wins. That's the game.
- 1:17:48Speaker 24: She wins.
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: That's it.
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: Lauren, you're going to go see Sawbird. Congratulations.
- 1:17:53Speaker 22: Thank you guys so much.
- 1:17:54Speaker 6: You got it. Hold on. Kyle, you know how that
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: one video I played a long time ago, and we
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: laugh all the time, it was that English guy getting interviewed,
- 1:18:01Speaker 6: and he was like, Chachapatee.
- 1:18:02Speaker 11: I love Chachapiti.
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: I love Chachapiti. Yes. There's this comedian making fun of
- 1:18:08Speaker 6: how people, he's making fun of how people use Chachapiti.
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: But the way this person says, I mean, he's a comedian,
- 1:18:16Speaker 6: she or he, I don't know.
- 1:18:19Speaker 12: But the way this person says Chachapiti to me is hilarious.
- 1:18:23Speaker 12: But they're making fun of people that use Chachapiti.
- 1:18:26Speaker 27: Chad BBT, is my refrigerator running? Chad BBT, is Shrek
- 1:18:30Speaker 27: 2 the sequel or the first one?
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: Chad BBT, how old is my mom? Chad BBT, do
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: I know enough.
- 1:18:36Speaker 27: Words to write an email? Chad BBT, what's your star sign?
- 1:18:39Speaker 27: Chad BBT, what's that name? What's that one movie? Chad BBB,
- 1:18:43Speaker 27: is chicken vegan? Chad DVD, can you write the email
- 1:18:46Speaker 27: for me, please?
- 1:18:47Speaker 6: I don't know enough words.
- 1:18:50Speaker 7: Words.
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: Chad BBT.
- 1:18:51Speaker 6: Chad BBT.
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: There's like a BBBG in there.
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: This is how lazy we are with Chad BBB. We're
- 1:18:55Speaker 6: completely related. What's coming up? What are the things we
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: need to know today?
- 1:18:58Speaker 11: So there was actually like a breach in the Arizona
- 1:19:02Speaker 11: court system. And what got out is actually pretty terrifying.
- 1:19:05Speaker 11: I will tell you what these hackers stole next with
- 1:19:08Speaker 11: John Jane Rich.
- 1:19:12Speaker 25: Kyle, what do we need to know today?
- 1:19:18Speaker 20: This is actually kind of scary.
- 1:19:20Speaker 11: Hackers stole personal information belonging to about 1.3 million people
- 1:19:26Speaker 11: from Arizona's court system. I feel like there's about that
- 1:19:30Speaker 11: many people in this state almost. So here's what they
- 1:19:34Speaker 11: stole because it was a lot of data that involves
- 1:19:37Speaker 11: people with unpaid court fines or fees going back decades,
- 1:19:40Speaker 11: which you're like, okay, that doesn't apply to me. But
- 1:19:42Speaker 11: even more concerning, the stolen files included nearly 30,000 protection orders,
- 1:19:47Speaker 11: which could be dangerous information to just be out there,
- 1:19:50Speaker 11: I don't know, on the dark web, and 150,000 foster
- 1:19:53Speaker 11: care reports. Officials do say they're currently checking into it
- 1:19:59Speaker 11: and that they have no evidence that the information has
- 1:20:02Speaker 11: been misused just yet. But a little unsettling to know
- 1:20:05Speaker 11: that that's just out there waiting to get used. I'm
- 1:20:09Speaker 11: sure you saw it on social media. It was pretty
- 1:20:10Speaker 11: much everywhere yesterday. U of A has temporarily shut down
- 1:20:14Speaker 11: activities for all 21. of its IFC fraternities because there
- 1:20:19Speaker 11: are so many misconduct investigations happening that the Dean of
- 1:20:23Speaker 11: Students was like, oh my gosh, my office is at
- 1:20:26Speaker 11: capacity right now. Like nobody can do anything. Like nobody
- 1:20:28Speaker 11: can do anything. We figure all of this out. So
- 1:20:30Speaker 11: almost half the frats have complaints with allegations, including Pledges
- 1:20:35Speaker 11: being forced to swallow live goldfish, burned with hot liquids,
- 1:20:38Speaker 11: deprived of sleep, forced to drink until they blacked out,
- 1:20:42Speaker 11: even kidnapped. Six fraternities are fully suspended right now. And
- 1:20:46Speaker 11: some of the allegations are serious enough that police are
- 1:20:49Speaker 11: now investigating as well. So got to get that under control.
- 1:20:53Speaker 11: I think we've spent the last few years trying to
- 1:20:55Speaker 11: cram protein into literally everything. You see protein everything right
- 1:21:00Speaker 11: now on the shelves.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: Yeah, they get protein Cheez-Its. I don't think that's necessary.
- 1:21:02Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:21:03Speaker 11: But now researchers are saying, may want to calm down
- 1:21:07Speaker 11: on the protein for a little bit because a new
- 1:21:09Speaker 11: review actually found that excessive amounts of protein may be
- 1:21:14Speaker 11: bad for you in a lot of different ways. It
- 1:21:16Speaker 11: can activate processes tied to inflammation and cellular damage and
- 1:21:20Speaker 11: could slow your metabolism down. But most of the research
- 1:21:23Speaker 11: is still kind of like from animal and preclinical studies
- 1:21:26Speaker 11: and stuff like that. But they are starting to find
- 1:21:29Speaker 11: out that you can have too much protein.
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: Can I jump in on this for a second?
- 1:21:34Speaker 11: Sure, John Jay.
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: So I think that's a very good story and it's true.
- 1:21:40Speaker 12: But the problem is nobody is getting enough protein. It's
- 1:21:44Speaker 12: really hard to get too much protein. So I just
- 1:21:47Speaker 12: watched a video yesterday on YouTube. When I watch, I
- 1:21:50Speaker 12: like to go on YouTube and watch, like, all the
- 1:21:51Speaker 12: peptide videos and see what's going on. And normally when
- 1:21:53Speaker 12: I see a peptide video, especially the GLP-1 stuff, there's, like,
- 1:21:56Speaker 12: it's got 200 views.
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: If I see it, it's got 5,000 views. But I
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: saw it had 13 million views. I was like, I
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: got to watch this. So this guy, and I don't
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: even know his name. I don't even know how to
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: find the video again. But he starts talking about all
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: the peptides and the GLP-1s, GLP-2s, GLP-3s. And the problem
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: with people, you know, they lose all this weight. And
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: you get that face, right?
- 1:22:16Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: It's a sunken face.
- 1:22:17Speaker 11: Yeah, they call it Ozempic face.
- 1:22:18Speaker 12: Because you're losing muscle and you're not exercising and you're
- 1:22:23Speaker 12: not eating enough protein. So what's happened is a lot
- 1:22:25Speaker 12: of people are now catching on. Because you lose 40%
- 1:22:28Speaker 12: of your muscle when you don't do anything and you're
- 1:22:30Speaker 12: on Ozempic or whatever, right?
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: So what's happened is now people are like going out
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: and getting protein. You need to have protein. You need
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: to exercise. That's the number one thing you got to
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: do with these GLP-1s. And what's happened is it's caused
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: a protein shortage. And what's happened now is protein is
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: like gasoline now. It's really expensive and hard to find.
- 1:22:47Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: Like some of the good cottage cheese you can't even find.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: What is that? Good Cure or something like that? That
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: cottage cheese is gone. I also did.
- 1:22:55Speaker 11: See, though, that your body can only process so much
- 1:22:59Speaker 11: protein in one sitting.
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:23:00Speaker 11: So sometimes these protein shakes that have like 85 bajillion
- 1:23:05Speaker 11: grams of protein are actually bad for your body because
- 1:23:07Speaker 11: your body can't handle a.
- 1:23:08Speaker 12: Lot of protein at once. Most of them have about
- 1:23:09Speaker 12: 25 grams of protein. That's the max I've ever seen.
- 1:23:11Speaker 12: And there may be 28. And I think it's doable.
- 1:23:13Speaker 12: But it's hard to get your daily amount of protein
- 1:23:15Speaker 12: a day. So that's one of those things I think
- 1:23:17Speaker 12: where they do research and it's probably 1% of the people,
- 1:23:20Speaker 12: it's probably the bodybuilders that get too much protein. Like
- 1:23:22Speaker 12: my wife, she doesn't get enough protein. She works very
- 1:23:24Speaker 12: hard at eating enough protein for the day and she doesn't.
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: It's hard. It's really hard. So that's what, you know,
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: keep in mind, I do have a podcast that does
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: talk to doctors about this stuff. Check it out. The
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: highly successful John J. Van Ness podcast.
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:23:36Speaker 11: Imagine ordering something at Starbucks specifically because it says sugar-free,
- 1:23:40Speaker 11: only to find out your venti could still have almost
- 1:23:44Speaker 11: a Kit Kat bar's worth of sugar in it.
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: Oh, dang.
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: That's sugar-free?
- 1:23:48Speaker 11: That is basically the argument in a new proposed class
- 1:23:51Speaker 11: action lawsuit claiming eight drinks marketed as sugar-free contain 13
- 1:23:55Speaker 11: to 21 grams of sugar because of the lactose naturally
- 1:23:58Speaker 11: found in milk. Starbucks says this lawsuit has no merit.
- 1:24:01Speaker 11: We will fight it.
- 1:24:02Speaker 13: Kyle?
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: As a person who doesn't have a health podcast, I
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: think we need to get more sugar. We can't eat
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: enough sugar. Can I jump in here for just a second? No.
- 1:24:12Speaker 11: Now, while we're on the coffee tip really quickly, apparently
- 1:24:14Speaker 11: if you make your coffee at home and you dump
- 1:24:17Speaker 11: your coffee grounds down the sink every morning and think, yeah,
- 1:24:20Speaker 11: the garbage disposal is going to handle it. Plumbers would
- 1:24:23Speaker 11: really like you to stop because coffee grounds don't dissolve.
- 1:24:26Speaker 11: So they can collect in your pipes and mix with
- 1:24:28Speaker 11: grease and food and soap into this really disgusting sludge
- 1:24:31Speaker 11: that eventually leaves you with a slow drain and a
- 1:24:34Speaker 11: potentially pretty expensive plumbing bill. So no more coffee grounds
- 1:24:37Speaker 11: in the sink.
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: Instead of what you need to know, we should call this,
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: you're doing everything wrong.
- 1:24:42Speaker 11: No, it's more like this is what you need to
- 1:24:44Speaker 11: know so that you don't get an expensive plumbing bill.
- 1:24:45Speaker 11: And that's what you need to know.
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: So, you know, Adam Sandler has given us a lot
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: of good songs recently. Yes, he has. Thanksgiving song.
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: What else?
- 1:24:53Speaker 12: The Hanukkah song. And, you know, I don't know if
- 1:24:56Speaker 12: you guys know this or not, but he's he's a
- 1:24:57Speaker 12: big bulldog lover. He's had a couple of bulldogs. He's
- 1:25:00Speaker 12: got a couple of I can't remember his most recent bulldog,
- 1:25:03Speaker 12: but he wrote a song. It's in one of his
- 1:25:05Speaker 12: comedy specials. And I just love the song so much.
- 1:25:07Speaker 12: And I have an English bulldog. His name is Maggie
- 1:25:08Speaker 12: and I love her to death.
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: And he did a song about it's called Bulldog in
- 1:25:12Speaker 6: a Halloween Costume.
- 1:25:14Speaker 24: Okay.
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:25:14Speaker 12: And it is so, if you have a dog and
- 1:25:17Speaker 12: there's a whole research right now on people trying to
- 1:25:19Speaker 12: get the costumes for their pets for Halloween, this song
- 1:25:22Speaker 12: is so cute. And I just pictured my little girl
- 1:25:24Speaker 12: Maggie in this costume.
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: Bulldog in a Halloween costume. He's a bumblebee and he
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: don't look happy. Bulldog in a Halloween costume. He's just
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: a dog, but he understands dignity. Bulldog in a Halloween costume.
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: His grandpa was a wolf, now he's wearing antennas. Bulldog
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: in a Halloween costume. When you get home, you're gonna
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: get bit.
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: I pretty love that song.
