- 0:04Speaker 1: There you go, the Late Terry Hall and the fun
- 0:06Speaker 1: Boy free and our lips are sealed. Okay, over to
- 0:10Speaker 1: you first holiday.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Well.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Were joined this morning by Ellis Ellis who came in
- 0:13Speaker 3: last year. She was the first time at London Marathon.
- 0:18Speaker 3: But we were in here today to talk about last
- 0:21Speaker 3: year's London Marathon. Ellis has recently done the London Landmarks,
- 0:25Speaker 3: raising money for a charity. But Ellis and Adrian have
- 0:30Speaker 3: got something in common. They are both going to Wembley
- 0:33Speaker 3: on May the fifteenth, thirteenth visit I think eleven eleventh,
- 0:38Speaker 3: May the eleventh, May the eleventh, And so Ellis, let's
- 0:42Speaker 3: start with you. So last year that London Marathon, what
- 0:45Speaker 3: an experience do you do? Still dream about it?
- 0:47Speaker 4: It is still the best day ever and I'd love
- 0:50Speaker 4: to relive it. I have such bad like fear of
- 0:53Speaker 4: missing out for tomorrow. Yeah yeah, I'm so jealous of
- 0:56Speaker 4: everyone running.
- 0:57Speaker 3: But you You went up with Henry, your boyfriend last year,
- 1:00Speaker 3: and I understand he was down to run it, but
- 1:02Speaker 3: he's not now.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Unfortunately Henry has had to pull out due to injury
- 1:06Speaker 4: this year. Hopefully he'll go again next year.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Writer's rain, That's all right, So after they experience, what
- 1:13Speaker 3: did you do? Did you decide not to do a marathon?
- 1:15Speaker 3: But you just fenceed this London landmarks.
- 1:18Speaker 4: So I did apply for the ballot again, and I
- 1:20Speaker 4: thought it'd be brilliant if I get in. But last
- 1:22Speaker 4: year we had to do a lot of fun raising
- 1:24Speaker 4: as if both of us were running for charity. I
- 1:26Speaker 4: just thought, oh, we've already I think we raised just
- 1:28Speaker 4: shy of six grand Wow. So I thought it might
- 1:31Speaker 4: be a bit of a challenge to try and do
- 1:32Speaker 4: that again the following year. Yeah, so I said I
- 1:35Speaker 4: won't do it less of getting on the ballot, and
- 1:37Speaker 4: lo and behold, I didn't get in on the ballot,
- 1:39Speaker 4: but so I thought we'll do landmarks instead, which was
- 1:42Speaker 4: just good.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Was that a ballot? Is there a ballot for that? Yes?
- 1:45Speaker 4: Yes, So I got in on the ballot of that.
- 1:47Speaker 4: But I still decided. I just said to raise some
- 1:48Speaker 4: money for charity. But that's a brilliant day out as well.
- 1:51Speaker 4: That's a great run.
- 1:52Speaker 3: To be honest, I won't say it sounds like a
- 1:54Speaker 3: bit low key, but the literally the landmarks that you
- 1:59Speaker 3: run past, it must be awesome.
- 2:01Speaker 2: We we said, we said.
- 2:02Speaker 3: This week we had three runners in Martin Chanda and
- 2:05Speaker 3: his two sisters who came in and because it was
- 2:10Speaker 3: a beautiful day as you know. And I just think
- 2:13Speaker 3: that if there was a tourist coming to London to run.
- 2:18Speaker 4: That's the run you want to do. See everything.
- 2:21Speaker 2: So the London Landmarks.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Now, so you've got a ballot, but you still decided
- 2:25Speaker 3: to run for charity, is it right? So tell us
- 2:28Speaker 3: about the charity and why he was running it.
- 2:30Speaker 4: So I ran for the Pilgrim's Hospice. I got in
- 2:33Speaker 4: contact with them. I just thought, do you know what,
- 2:35Speaker 4: it's not your everyday challenge running the half marathons. I
- 2:38Speaker 4: thought might as well raise some money if I can.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I set myself a target of one hundred pounds and
- 2:43Speaker 4: surpassed that very very quickly. And so I rung for
- 2:46Speaker 4: Pilgrim's Hospice in memory of my mum.
- 2:48Speaker 2: That memory of your mum, Yeah did she? Yeah?
- 2:51Speaker 4: She was cared for at the Pilgrim's Hospice. So it's
- 2:54Speaker 4: very meaningful and so lots of my other family members
- 2:56Speaker 4: as well, but mainly for my mom.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah, my mom that passed away in as well.
- 3:02Speaker 4: So it's a charity that's not recognized.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I mean the staff. They were absolutely fantastic. Every raises, it.
- 3:10Speaker 4: All goes to a good cause.
- 3:14Speaker 3: When you speak to the fundraisers at Pilgrims, you realize
- 3:19Speaker 3: how many, like millions of pounds a year they have
- 3:22Speaker 3: to pull in. Yeah, and they do a lot of
- 3:25Speaker 3: sporting events, cycling, and I've helped them out on a
- 3:28Speaker 3: few running events, walking events. So yeah, yeah, it's just ongoing, ongoing,
- 3:34Speaker 3: and what a great cause. So I mean the London Landmarks,
- 3:38Speaker 3: what sort of memories have you got of there?
- 3:41Speaker 4: I just remember it being really hot. Yeah, yeah, the
- 3:44Speaker 4: sun was definitely not on their runners side that day,
- 3:47Speaker 4: but it was brilliant. It was absolutely brilliant. Like you say,
- 3:50Speaker 4: you see everything in London that you wish to see.
- 3:52Speaker 4: You start start a big Ben run part you run
- 3:55Speaker 4: along Embankment, past the London Eye. It really is central London.
- 4:00Speaker 4: You see everything you possibly can in the space of
- 4:03Speaker 4: two hours of running.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Well, you're saying about how hot it was. I mean
- 4:06Speaker 1: I see some of these people that address up in
- 4:09Speaker 1: all these costumes. Yeah yeah, I mean just running normally
- 4:12Speaker 1: will be hot, but in one of them costumes.
- 4:15Speaker 4: I've got overtaken by a up dinosaur at one point
- 4:19Speaker 4: I've got t shirt and shorts on and I'm hot.
- 4:22Speaker 3: When I did my London I got over taken by
- 4:26Speaker 3: Sonic the hedgehog.
- 4:28Speaker 4: They must be boiling.
- 4:29Speaker 2: And that was it. There was the rhino. There was
- 4:33Speaker 2: all this.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Attention given to raised money for rhinos. I think a
- 4:38Speaker 3: rhino overtook me as well.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Would you say that the London Landmarks is more more doable,
- 4:46Speaker 3: more of a target, more enjoyable than the London Believe
- 4:49Speaker 3: it or not?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Or is that a tough call?
- 4:52Speaker 4: That's a really really tough call. It's completely different. You're
- 4:57Speaker 4: with the London Marathon. It's really like you've done the
- 5:01Speaker 4: marathon before you've even got there, because you've done the
- 5:03Speaker 4: sixteen weeks of training, you've done your races, you're twenty milers,
- 5:07Speaker 4: all of those sort of big big steps towards it.
- 5:11Speaker 4: With a half marathon, it's you can do a ten
- 5:14Speaker 4: k race, yeah, ten mile race and then you're at
- 5:17Speaker 4: the distance. But the marathon's just a whirl wind of day.
- 5:21Speaker 4: It's amazing.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I think if you're runner, you've got to do a
- 5:23Speaker 3: marathon at least. Would you do anymore? Oh, you want
- 5:26Speaker 3: to try and do it one next year?
- 5:27Speaker 4: Definitely. Yeah, hopefully fingers cross for the ballot.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 1: How many people actually apply to go on to run
- 5:34Speaker 1: the medal?
- 5:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not sure how many people, but I was
- 5:38Speaker 4: reading the other day only two percent of the run
- 5:41Speaker 4: it's got in via ballot for this year and there's
- 5:43Speaker 4: fifty thousand runners.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean you see it on the TV and
- 5:47Speaker 1: it just looks like a wave of Yeah, it's.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Even like that when you're in the middle, you're like sardines.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Well, my running days are over, so I'll watch it
- 5:56Speaker 1: on Telly.
- 5:58Speaker 3: There's a reckled number of eight hundred forty thousand, three
- 6:01Speaker 3: hundred and eighteen people applied for this year's London Marathon
- 6:06Speaker 3: and they expect more than fifty six thousand to compete
- 6:08Speaker 3: on the day.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Wow.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so just a bit trivia. I've been up all night.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you're always you're always danuous homework.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Okay, we're going to take a little break now. But
- 6:19Speaker 2: what we're going to do.
- 6:19Speaker 3: We're going to play a song and we're going to
- 6:22Speaker 3: come back and talk about favars and a trip to Wembley.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Wembley. Okay. This is Men at Work from nineteen eighty one.
- 6:30Speaker 1: This is called down Under they go men at work
- 6:52Speaker 1: down Under. Guess what Kevin was that I saw them?
- 6:55Speaker 2: Did?
- 6:56Speaker 1: I saw them like hammer Smith Odian in It must
- 6:58Speaker 1: have been nineteen eighty when I was out there at
- 7:02Speaker 1: the peak. Yeah, I mean I think they had two
- 7:06Speaker 1: or three that I actually knew them.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Yeah, they've only had a couple of songs they And
- 7:09Speaker 3: there was a bit of controversy about that song, some
- 7:12Speaker 3: of the flute tunes they're playing in the middle, and
- 7:16Speaker 3: somebody said that they kind of stole them from like
- 7:19Speaker 3: Aborigine and there was a copyright on them, and there
- 7:22Speaker 3: was a bit of a Yeah, there was a bit
- 7:24Speaker 3: of controversy. Yeah, but it was I remember the video
- 7:26Speaker 3: where they're all jumping about an upside down and that.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah it's good. Yeah, great, great song.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I love it. Yeah, Well, that actually was a good song.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I actually when I flew into Australia, that was actually
- 7:36Speaker 1: playing in the Welcome to down.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Okay, so getting back to Ellis, Welcome back Elis. Now
- 7:46Speaker 3: we've spoken a bit about London landmarks and stuff like that,
- 7:50Speaker 3: but you've just showed us.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Sure. Medal was awesome, isn't it.
- 7:53Speaker 4: It is an amazing, amazing medals medal yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a pop up medal, isn't it fold?
- 8:00Speaker 4: And it's amazing.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Great, right, So we're going to switch now to if
- 8:04Speaker 3: you like your education and what you're up to now.
- 8:06Speaker 3: So which university are you at currently?
- 8:11Speaker 4: So I'm at Canterbury christ Church University and my third
- 8:15Speaker 4: and final.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Year and what is the cause your studying?
- 8:17Speaker 4: So I studied sports therapy and rehabilitation.
- 8:20Speaker 3: All right, okay, and now you've managed to get a job.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Obviously you like football and it's football was always getting injured,
- 8:30Speaker 3: aren't they. So there's plenty of work about.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Get a job, but folks, and no problems. They're all injured.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I understand you were at High last year? How was that?
- 8:39Speaker 4: It was a brilliant season at Hive last year as well?
- 8:42Speaker 4: It was really really good and it was my first
- 8:43Speaker 4: sort of season in football, so it was really really nice.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Sort of get some local experience as well, which is great.
- 8:49Speaker 3: So you finished at High and then how did you
- 8:52Speaker 3: end up getting getting a placement at Whitstable?
- 8:55Speaker 4: So you have to obviously complete my placement to get
- 8:57Speaker 4: my union hours and I just old literally every local
- 9:01Speaker 4: team possible. Hello, can I come and get some experience?
- 9:03Speaker 4: If you please, And Wist got back to me and
- 9:06Speaker 4: I thought, do you know what, everything happens for a reason.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Let's go to Whitstable.
- 9:10Speaker 2: And then now you're going to Wimbley.
- 9:11Speaker 4: What a great choice.
- 9:15Speaker 3: So let's let's let's turn our attention to going back
- 9:19Speaker 3: to university. So do you say you've got a three
- 9:21Speaker 3: three year course?
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yes?
- 9:22Speaker 3: And do the do all the other students try and
- 9:25Speaker 3: find a placement or is it just like it's up
- 9:27Speaker 3: to the indivie.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Yes. So to be accredited as a sports therapist and rehabilitated,
- 9:31Speaker 4: you have to complete four hundred experience hours. Soever on
- 9:35Speaker 4: on my course is completing it in many different places,
- 9:38Speaker 4: clinic settings, rugby tennis. One of the girls I know
- 9:42Speaker 4: does it at like a martial arts place, which is
- 9:44Speaker 4: really cool. Okay, I just I like football, so stuck
- 9:48Speaker 4: with football.
- 9:50Speaker 3: So what's your job? I mean, after this interview, you're
- 9:54Speaker 3: you're going off to Whitstable. So runners through a typical
- 9:58Speaker 3: whitstaball day. You know that you are going to start
- 10:00Speaker 3: in a couple of hours.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Amazing, So I work with their physio Craig. He's brilliant
- 10:06Speaker 4: and we normally arrive half now before the sort of
- 10:09Speaker 4: meat time for the players, sort of check all the bags,
- 10:12Speaker 4: check we've got all the equipment, check that the defibse work,
- 10:14Speaker 4: and sort of run through protocol and the sort of
- 10:17Speaker 4: game plan for us for the day. Who's going to
- 10:19Speaker 4: come in, who we need to see, who need to assess,
- 10:22Speaker 4: who needs treatment, that sort of thing. So I normally
- 10:25Speaker 4: get to it's about half twelve yea, which is quite good,
- 10:28Speaker 4: and then three o'clock kickoff, we're pitch side, we're running
- 10:32Speaker 4: on when we get called on by the ref for injuries,
- 10:35Speaker 4: sort of help them with warm ups, muscle activation like sessions,
- 10:39Speaker 4: cool downs afterwards, sort of massages, all sorts of treatment.
- 10:44Speaker 4: It's really really good.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Do you and your mentor if you like, do you
- 10:48Speaker 3: have to liaise with the manager because I'm sure that
- 10:51Speaker 3: some players you know, have got essay an narsty injury
- 10:56Speaker 3: and shouldn't be playing, but they want to play it
- 10:58Speaker 3: des ever, you know.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Yeah, so there's a lot between the whole management team
- 11:02Speaker 4: that's got to be such good communication sort of between
- 11:04Speaker 4: the physios, the coaches and the management. It's really like
- 11:07Speaker 4: we have to be on it because, like you say,
- 11:09Speaker 4: footballers like to like to try and play when they
- 11:12Speaker 4: know they shouldn't be.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yeah, is there anybody struggling for Wembley?
- 11:15Speaker 4: No, we're all good at the moment, tood.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Have you got any sick notes anyones that are always
- 11:22Speaker 3: on the bench.
- 11:23Speaker 4: No, No, we're really lucky. Actually we've got really good
- 11:26Speaker 4: squad this year.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Before we talk about Wembley, you went with the team
- 11:32Speaker 3: to the Gallahoo Stadium, didn't you, which was unfortunately they lost?
- 11:36Speaker 2: But what was their experience like? Was that the biggest
- 11:38Speaker 2: stadium you been?
- 11:39Speaker 4: That is the biggest stadium that I've been to with
- 11:41Speaker 4: with a team. It was. It's quite quite a magical experience,
- 11:45Speaker 4: really walking out in front of that many people. Obviously
- 11:47Speaker 4: we've had a lot of people at home watching the
- 11:49Speaker 4: VARs legs that are at home, but it's a different
- 11:51Speaker 4: atmosphere and it sort of traps the atmosphere into the stadium,
- 11:55Speaker 4: which is really really cool.
- 11:57Speaker 1: You wait till you get to Wembley if you think
- 11:58Speaker 1: the Gallagher stadiums.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Have you spoke to the players do they feel about
- 12:04Speaker 3: I mean, it's amazing experience, but you know, as there
- 12:08Speaker 3: has their nerves that they're jangling already. And the other
- 12:11Speaker 3: thing is is there might be some that are on
- 12:12Speaker 3: the fringe hoping that they're going to get picked.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Yeah, obviously we have quite a big squad, so it's
- 12:16Speaker 4: sort of everyone's now proven themselves to have a position
- 12:20Speaker 4: in the squad. But we've had so many games so
- 12:23Speaker 4: quickly over Easter, but I don't think anyone's had really
- 12:26Speaker 4: chance to think about it.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the problem when you get running the FAS
- 12:31Speaker 1: or any cup competition.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Yeah, we've had so many Tuesday, Thursday Wednesday games. It's crazy.
- 12:36Speaker 2: A bit of a gap, isn't there?
- 12:37Speaker 1: Is it?
- 12:38Speaker 2: Your last going is today?
- 12:39Speaker 4: So yeah, today it's the last game of the season.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Then we've got playoffs Tuesday playoff.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Do you know who you've got yet?
- 12:46Speaker 4: I'm not sure. I'm not sure yet.
- 12:48Speaker 1: No, okay, no, I don't know.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Off the top of my head. I can't think.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I know sitting Bourn which was one of the ones
- 12:54Speaker 1: we might cover that. I know they've got nursed, but yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: I know whisterball, they've got home fielder, but I don't
- 13:00Speaker 1: know who they play.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I know we're at home, getting back to physiotherapy. In
- 13:05Speaker 3: your class, is it like fifty to fifty men split?
- 13:09Speaker 3: You know, there's more and more of lazy.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a lot of girls on the course and
- 13:15Speaker 4: my sort of one of my concerns of starting was
- 13:17Speaker 4: it's a very sorry male dominated sort of field. Like
- 13:21Speaker 4: even working in sports football, rugby, et cetera. Women are
- 13:25Speaker 4: still upcoming in that. But I'd say it's probably a
- 13:28Speaker 4: good sixty to forty split of sort of a few
- 13:30Speaker 4: more guys than girls, but there is a good split,
- 13:33Speaker 4: which is really nice to see.
- 13:34Speaker 3: But I mean ten years ago it's probably all blokes,
- 13:36Speaker 3: wasn't it exactly? Yeah, exact things have been changing. So
- 13:41Speaker 3: what happens next season? Does your placement finish when you've
- 13:43Speaker 3: done you so many hours?
- 13:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 13:45Speaker 4: So as of June when I finished UNI my placement,
- 13:48Speaker 4: I don't do it anymore, which is crazy, but I
- 13:51Speaker 4: really want to stay with in football. It's definitely something
- 13:53Speaker 4: I want to be doing.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Oh that's good, definitely right.
- 13:57Speaker 3: So we're going to say the Wembley thing. You're sign
- 14:02Speaker 3: off that you've had to get suit made as well.
- 14:07Speaker 3: He said, get them all in the studio and we'll
- 14:09Speaker 3: singer Whits book.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Yeah, thats sugs as thrown his vocals in for the
- 14:15Speaker 1: Whitstaball Town Cup final or something.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Wembley anthem. I think they've named it brilliant. What was that?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Sorry? Yes, lead singer Madness. Yeah, he's he's a Whitstaball.
- 14:27Speaker 1: He lives there in Whitstaball. He lives in Wittaball and
- 14:31Speaker 1: he's put his voice onto Thesaball track. So whether or
- 14:34Speaker 1: not actually be there at Wembley, I don't know. Hopefully
- 14:38Speaker 1: in the hospitality area where I take records to get signed. Yeah,
- 14:42Speaker 1: I've got one or two hundred?
- 14:46Speaker 3: Okay, yells? Now there's anything else you want to tell
- 14:49Speaker 3: us about? I mean, you know it's over to you now.
- 14:51Speaker 3: If there's anything else you want to say about London landmarks, anything,
- 14:54Speaker 3: any people you want to thank? Any people at Whitstaball
- 14:56Speaker 3: you want to think, well.
- 14:57Speaker 4: I'd like to thank everyone at Whitstebell. It's it's been
- 15:00Speaker 4: such an amazing experience and you don't you don't come
- 15:03Speaker 4: across these experiences very often, so it's amazing. And also
- 15:07Speaker 4: just a massive thank you to beginners to run us
- 15:09Speaker 4: in hive for all of my completely my training with
- 15:12Speaker 4: me for my landmarks. It's really important, I think, to
- 15:16Speaker 4: run with others and motivate others, and it's been really
- 15:19Speaker 4: really nice to run alongside other people as well.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Are you still with the beginners to run us?
- 15:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yes, So we've got our new lot of
- 15:28Speaker 4: beginners starting tomorrow. Actually, it's that'd be really nice to
- 15:30Speaker 4: get a few new faces in and we're going to
- 15:32Speaker 4: start running a ten kilometer to ten mile course as well. Oh,
- 15:35Speaker 4: it's been nice to get our experienced runners got a
- 15:38Speaker 4: little bit further.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Yeah, be nice, brilliant and it's thank you so much
- 15:42Speaker 3: for coming in, thank you for having me. It's been
- 15:44Speaker 3: great to see you. And it's just we've had a
- 15:46Speaker 3: variety of things to talk about this morning instead of
- 15:49Speaker 3: like it's just you know, totally football or totally cricket.
- 15:52Speaker 3: You know, it's been a great experience for all of us.
- 15:56Speaker 3: And as we said, you will be seeing Adrian at
- 16:00Speaker 3: so Adrian. Just while we're on the subject, tell us
- 16:02Speaker 3: give us an update on Seasider's radio and FAS because
- 16:06Speaker 3: there's two games on that day, isn't there.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Yeah, we we have to put in a crediation into
- 16:10Speaker 1: the FA. We haven't actually got it back yet, but
- 16:13Speaker 1: we got it last year, so there's no reason why
- 16:14Speaker 1: we don't get it this year. Last year also the
- 16:17Speaker 1: playoff final for the National League. We was a little
- 16:21Speaker 1: bit too late to put in the application because we
- 16:22Speaker 1: didn't quite know what to do. So Seasiders Radio have
- 16:25Speaker 1: put it in this year and we've we've got both well,
- 16:27Speaker 1: we've we've definitely got the Vanorama Player Final at Wembley
- 16:32Speaker 1: and we're just awaiting confirmation everything goes in and the
- 16:36Speaker 1: end of April the final bits and pieces come through.
- 16:41Speaker 1: But there was lots of gaps last year, so I'm
- 16:43Speaker 1: I'm pretty confident we we get through. So yeah, yeah,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I mean everything's looking good at the moment. Me and
- 16:48Speaker 1: Charlie we're looking forward to going back to Wembley again
- 16:52Speaker 1: a lot.
- 16:52Speaker 2: You're a regular, Yeah, yeah.
- 16:57Speaker 1: It'd be lovely. I mean we we commentated done it
- 17:00Speaker 1: last year and I've been to the last six or
- 17:02Speaker 1: seven non league finals day where they have the f
- 17:05Speaker 1: A Trophy and the f A Fans Final, and there's
- 17:08Speaker 1: not been a kN club in it this year.
- 17:11Speaker 2: With clubs, isn't it you know? Sorry? And the White
- 17:14Speaker 2: Leaf very.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Well yeah yeah, I was looking at their their fixtures
- 17:19Speaker 1: where they got left and you know they could get
- 17:22Speaker 1: promotion via the playoffs as well, so it's the same
- 17:25Speaker 1: for both at least it's not going to be a
- 17:27Speaker 1: bit of a gap, you know.
- 17:30Speaker 2: The standardise. Yeah, and we both got pretty much the
- 17:33Speaker 2: same records, definitely, Yeah, and.
- 17:35Speaker 1: It promised you to be really good game. And of
- 17:37Speaker 1: course with fin O Mara Bi and the next Folkstone
- 17:39Speaker 1: player and I think quite well and Gerald of Bogi
- 17:43Speaker 1: as well, both folks and players going to Wembley. It's
- 17:47Speaker 1: going to be great. It's gonna be a great day.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Good well, Ellice, you won't be sleeping for the next
- 17:50Speaker 2: two of ma though.
- 17:51Speaker 4: When is it the maybe eleven Wembley?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Give us a wave.
- 17:59Speaker 3: There. I'm sure that if Adrian and Charlie are doing
- 18:02Speaker 3: the commentary that apart from I mean the Whitstable town
- 18:06Speaker 3: will it's the actual town itself would be empty because.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Everyone will Yeah, everybody be there, but we will be.
- 18:11Speaker 2: People that can't make it, and I'm sure they welcome
- 18:13Speaker 2: to listen to the commentary.
- 18:15Speaker 1: We will be doing that. And also if Whitstaball Town
- 18:18Speaker 1: get to the final of the playoffs and they at home,
- 18:20Speaker 1: we may be coming along to you and commentating on that.
- 18:24Speaker 2: As well, and so so it could be promotion for
- 18:28Speaker 2: them into the.
- 18:33Speaker 1: The one that I've just been relegated from so hopefully
- 18:37Speaker 1: Whitstable will change places, which will be nice and.
- 18:40Speaker 2: We might have well we will have Fabusham as well,
- 18:42Speaker 2: will we.
- 18:44Speaker 1: So it's good.
- 18:46Speaker 2: It's great for the key.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Everything's on the app at the moment, even a little
- 18:51Speaker 1: bit lower down I mean New Romney, I mean the
- 18:54Speaker 1: top of the top of the league. They're having a
- 18:55Speaker 1: lot of work done on their ground. So yeah, I
- 18:58Speaker 1: mean everything's good at the moment.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Good Elie is you've been brilliant senior, and you know
- 19:04Speaker 3: telling us all those stories. It's really good and it's
- 19:06Speaker 3: nice to find out about what goes on behind the
- 19:08Speaker 3: scenes on match.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Day for a physia. So what can we say?
- 19:12Speaker 3: Good luck on the final league game of the season,
- 19:16Speaker 3: and good luck in the playoffs, and good luck at Wimberley.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Wembley, Homer Football. You're more than welcome. Thank you very
- 19:25Speaker 1: much for coming in. Right, we're going to stick another
- 19:28Speaker 1: tune on and then we'll get down to some local
- 19:32Speaker 1: sports as well. So here we go with this is
- 19:34Speaker 1: this is my I should say, March Sam sitting in
- 19:37Speaker 1: the background. This is Kylie and this is on a
- 19:39Speaker 1: night like this
