Good attracts good. Welcome, Welcome to the live
• 0:55
stream, welcome to the basement. Today we have a super special
• 0:59
guest. We're doing the Dusters Around
• 1:01
the World campaign, and today we're joined by the sportist all
• 1:04
the way from the Canary Islands. Look, crypto is all about
• 1:09
community, and community is made-up of people.
• 1:12
But we've got a special story that kind of led up to why the
• 1:15
Sportist, who is a Duster, by the way, is joining us today.
• 1:20
Everyone knows his brother Ravio from Rastalon TV in The Sportist
• 1:25
has continued the mission that Ravio set out.
• 1:28
But we're going to go through all that.
• 1:30
We're going to have a great discussion.
• 1:32
And we're doing that live right now with our friend the Sportist
• 1:35
from the Canary Islands. How you doing, Sir?
• 1:37
Welcome to the Basement. Welcome to Duster Club.
• 1:41
  Hey, what's up? What's up?
• 1:43
Very happy to be here. Like a bit unexpectedly, like
• 1:48
all of my journey in general. But but yeah, thank you for
• 1:52
thank you for letting me be here and just on there.
• 1:55
  Yeah, no, it's a it's a huge deal.
• 1:57
And, and you know, like I said, to start out with kind of the,
• 2:01
the sequence of events that led to me and you being together
• 2:04
right now and all of our viewers right from all around the world
• 2:08
are pretty spectacular. Let's let's talk about a guy
• 2:14
that I've got a lot of respect for, and that's your brother
• 2:18
Ravio. He, you know, was fighting
• 2:20
cancer. I'll let you tell the story, but
• 2:23
  started a token. It's a it's a it's a story, I
• 2:26
  think of courage and inspiration.
• 2:29
So I'm going to give you the stage and to whatever extent
• 2:31
you'd like to talk about your brother and what kind of led up
• 2:34
to where we are right now and what we are doing like you and I
• 2:39
and A lot of other people in crypto trying to do some good.
• 2:43
Well, it's a bit difficult to find where exactly to start I
• 2:49
guess. But basically we in general, we
• 2:55
started, he mostly he started it together funds to support his
• 3:02
own medications and our expenses that were piling up because he,
• 3:07
as he mentioned also, we were already for a while supported by
• 3:13
a lot of other community members from, from the D5 regions like
• 3:18
Downson and his friends like Nikki Island and, and other
• 3:22
people. And just, you know, you can just
• 3:25
ask as much and, and the people also can't help forever, you
• 3:29
know, So, and this was a crazy moment when lots of these tokens
• 3:34
were launching and, and, and we consulted and said, no, fuck it,
• 3:39
no, just we, we have to do something.
• 3:42
It was. And yeah, it all happened.
• 3:44
And the the first day was actually beautiful.
• 3:47
I made a video that about my bro and was happy to see him back
• 3:52
gaming, like doing things he likes.
• 3:54
And, and literally the next day or even that night, the, the
• 3:58
hack happened and that was whole other thing and fucked up.
• 4:05
And, and then he got spoofed again the next day and, and we
• 4:10
thought we lost it again. So it was just like that, you
• 4:13
know, emotionally. And, and then, yeah, after a
• 4:17
while it settled a tiny bit. I mean, he, he still had a lot
• 4:21
of pressure from, from outside, I think.
• 4:25
But but yeah, we, we also managed to start helping other
• 4:29
people and, and the, yeah, that's kind of what he started.
• 4:36
Then even in the in the in the token description, it's written
• 4:41
that he wants to travel around the world, you know, and and
• 4:45
  help people. And help people.
• 4:46
So your brother Ravio and I'm going to pull up his profile
• 4:50
  here. Hold on, Hold on.
• 4:52
I'm screwed up. There we go.
• 4:53
Give me one second. Give me one second.
• 4:55
Mr. Sportis. I'm going to pull up his.
• 4:59
Here he is pull up his profile. For those of you who maybe
• 5:04
aren't aware of this story, this was Ravio.
• 5:07
This was this is his ex profile page.
• 5:11
He was fighting cancer and we get it on the full screen.
• 5:15
There we go. So he was fighting cancer and
• 5:19
and and doing it valiantly started a coin and to help pay
• 5:23
for his expenses, which got a lot of support from, you know,
• 5:26
some good people out there. No doubt about it.
• 5:29
He was hacked. He continued to fight cancer.
• 5:33
He somehow I somebody connected, somebody in the UFD community
• 5:38
connected me with him and I had him on as a live stream guest, I
• 5:43
think it was back in October. A.
• 5:46
While ago. Yeah, it was a while ago and I
• 5:50
was immediately struck. And, you know, I, I, I think I'm
• 5:53
a pretty good judge of people and I always trust my, my gut
• 5:57
feeling or my instincts. And I was immediately struck
• 6:00
just even in interacting with him before we went live, like
• 6:04
this is a really good guy. This is a real legit guy.
• 6:07
Then we did the live stream together and definitely will be
• 6:10
one of my most memorable live streams.
• 6:13
Because he was going through cancer treatment, He was trying
• 6:15
to schedule the live stream around a time where he thought
• 6:18
that I think it was the key therapy wouldn't be acting
• 6:21
  himself. Literally had to go.
• 6:23
After he finished interview, we went to the car and went to the
• 6:26
  hospital. Yeah, yeah.
• 6:27
Right. We waited and scheduled it all
• 6:29
around and you know, look, people don't want to watch me
• 6:33
cry, but it may. I teared up this morning
• 6:35
thinking about it again. Like he was a really great guy
• 6:39
and he was and he loved you. You're his brother.
• 6:43
You know, I just got that feeling from him that and when
• 6:46
he talked about you and your mom and kind of what you guys had
• 6:51
been through. But there were a couple things
• 6:53
that really also touched me about a story.
• 6:55
Like you said, he got hacked and it was and I won't even show the
• 6:58
video because it I know he didn't.
• 7:02
No, I won't no, I know it was horrible.
• 7:04
It was a bad situation like you said, but then people out there
• 7:08
in the crypto world can't stepped up like they did when it
• 7:11
happened to me. People in the crypto world
• 7:13
stepped up and and and brought things back for him.
• 7:18
But then what your brother did, that was even more and you too,
• 7:20
right. I mean, I know you were you're
• 7:22
involved in this. I mean, he kind of like maybe
• 7:26
back then he was the face of all this.
• 7:28
And now I know you've taken the torch, but there was also a big
• 7:32
push to help support other people as well.
• 7:36
And you know, when when we talk about crypto in general, you
• 7:41
know, it's look, crypto, you can say crypto, right?
• 7:44
But crypto is really about community and community is about
• 7:49
people and people doing good things.
• 7:52
And there's so many good people out there.
• 7:53
It was just really, you know, to me, your brother still lives,
• 7:58
right? His spirit is still here.
• 8:00
And, and, and, and I just really appreciate what you guys have
• 8:04
done and what you continue to do.
• 8:06
And with that, I'll be quiet. I'll let you talk about that or
• 8:09
anything else that you want to bring up right now.
• 8:11
Sports. Well, yeah, I mean, yeah.
• 8:15
After the the thing happened and we lost him, I had a couple of
• 8:21
days to like think what I what I want to do, what what to do with
• 8:27
the project, what to what to. I suggested and talked with some
• 8:31
people that I respected their opinions and and some people
• 8:37
told me to launch something new. Some people told me to go away.
• 8:40
Some people told me to continue. But in the end, I what made me
• 8:46
stay. I read his description again.
• 8:49
Yeah. And and I remember it in pump
• 8:52
fun with me quote that I think I can quote.
• 9:00
My dream is to beat cancer and go all around the world to meet
• 9:03
and and help new people. Yeah.
• 9:06
And and so, yeah, I want to do at least something similar.
• 9:13
And that's what we've been trying to do as well with the
• 9:15
project. And yeah, I've been trying to
• 9:18
also raise awareness as much as I can over everything, give some
• 9:23
information and tips as well on diets and stuff.
• 9:26
And I've been trying to help financially as much as I can.
• 9:30
But yeah, as I mentioned, not only to people with cancer,
• 9:32
people who are just in, in a bad place, but yeah, at the moment
• 9:37
that, yeah, I could be doing better with the project, but
• 9:41
I'm, I'm sure that if we'll keep doing good things and sooner or
• 9:45
later we'll get more eyes on it and it's going to be all good.
• 9:49
But yeah, besides that, I, I wanted to actually ask you like
• 9:56
a couple of things, but you're, you're, you're kind of much more
• 9:59
of an expert than I am at this point.
• 10:02
And the first thing I wanted to ask is, well, and we know your
• 10:06
story, look of how you got into crypto and stuff, but what's the
• 10:10
thing that made you stay like, you know?
• 10:14
One thing, there's only one thing sportist that made me stay
• 10:18
and that was and that's the people.
• 10:21
I guess I could put more broadly say the community, but the
• 10:25
community, and I touched on this earlier, is made-up of people.
• 10:29
And yeah, it's a great question because like on the second day
• 10:34
after I launched UFDI knew nothing about crypto, really
• 10:38
  nothing about. You have choices.
• 10:40
You can continue, you can just cash and go away.
• 10:43
You can do whatever you know if you think about.
• 10:46
It well, I'm I'm standing outside on my porch.
• 10:48
We have a screened in porch and I'm standing out there and I
• 10:52
look at my at my phantom wallet, which I had at the time and it
• 10:56
said like $1.5 million. And I was like, that was that's
• 11:01
like mind blowing money to me. OK, yeah.
• 11:05
And I'm and I and I did what you did.
• 11:07
  I called a couple. I called probably, I don't know,
• 11:10
7 or 8 different friends. I'm like, what?
• 11:12
And I had some people said dump it right, which would be a rug
• 11:17
pole, dump it and go lay on a beach for a year.
• 11:20
  Some. People you know.
• 11:21
There was a whole broad range of recommendations, but I knew.
• 11:27
But I'll tell you what, I will never forget this moment.
• 11:30
I know exactly where I was standing, what the I can still
• 11:34
see it as broad as day. I knew in my heart two things.
• 11:38
I knew that all those tokens that were out there that that
• 11:42
there were people behind them. Number one, there were people.
• 11:47
These weren't just tokens and or dollar signs.
• 11:50
There were people behind it. And I also knew something very
• 11:54
powerful that I thought the, the money, the money, the money
• 11:59
matters. That's life changing money to
• 12:01
me, no doubt, right? And I'm like anybody.
• 12:04
But I also knew that the potential in the community was
• 12:09
worth already at that point. And I didn't really even I, I
• 12:13
had a very, very minimal understanding of what, what.
• 12:17
What's going on? Yeah, what was?
• 12:18
But I knew that that that there was something much bigger and
• 12:22
much better by going forward with the project.
• 12:26
And by the way, the night before or the night that it went crazy,
• 12:31
I publicly said that I was not. I sold a little bit when it
• 12:34
first took off, I didn't know what was happening.
• 12:36
And then I made a vow to people that I wouldn't sell for 10 for
• 12:40
  10 days. And you know, I'm, I'm a big
• 12:43
  believer in integrity and honesty.
• 12:45
I'm not going to sit here and say that I'm Mr. Perfect.
• 12:48
Nobody's Mr. Perfect, but I can control my actions and can
• 12:52
control whether I do what I say. And I'd said I wouldn't sell on
• 12:56
top of that. So I was like, you know, this
• 12:59
seems like in my, in my heart, it feels like this is something
• 13:03
I want to do. And then subsequent to that, I
• 13:05
made another three month pledge that I wouldn't sell.
• 13:08
And I haven't sold any of my UFD since then.
• 13:11
I've actually bought UF DS on it and I've done it all
• 13:14
transparently. So to, and to get back to your
• 13:17
question, absolutely it's, you know, we are in such a unique, I
• 13:23
mean, the situation that you and I are in right now, you're in
• 13:26
the Canary Islands, right? I'm in a basement in Saint Louis
• 13:30
in the United States. You and I are talking, but
• 13:32
there's also people all around the world right now who are
• 13:35
joining us and who will watch the replay of this, like this
• 13:38
ability for us to, to build community, community, this
• 13:42
ability of us to build relationships.
• 13:45
And on top of that, the, the gift of, of the blockchain and
• 13:49
crypto to really build some real tangible value is I think it's a
• 13:55
  gift. I think it's, I think we're
• 13:56
like, we don't, sometimes I forget.
• 13:58
I think we all forget like we are on the leading edge of what
• 14:02
is happening in the world, right?
• 14:04
  Now, so yeah. There's a couple There's a
• 14:07
couple reasons why why I why I decided.
• 14:11
All right, that, that's very interesting.
• 14:14
I didn't expect such a full answer, but yeah, very, very I
• 14:18
  do. You know what?
• 14:20
You know what, buddy? You know what's funny?
• 14:22
This is your live stream. When you when you want me to be
• 14:25
quiet, you just say shut. Up, man, No, no, that was
• 14:29
  beautiful. Man, that was beautiful.
• 14:30
You know, not only and by the way, not not only would Susie
• 14:33
upstairs, Susie, the camera's angles different today that
• 14:37
everybody knows, would love if you told me to shut up, but she
• 14:41
also loves the Saint Louis Blues, whose jersey you're
• 14:44
wearing today. So there you go.
• 14:46
Yeah. Yes, yes, she has decided to.
• 14:49
Yeah, yeah, yeah. They wear something special
• 14:51
today. Yeah, she gave you a shout out
• 14:55
and she also said shut up anyway.
• 14:58
Go ahead buddy. Well, after I was also
• 15:04
wondering, you know, there must have been a moment when you have
• 15:07
the stopped being a joke for you and and became a responsibility.
• 15:12
You know, like, do you have a certain moment when that
• 15:15
happened or that was like in a span of time or why?
• 15:19
Yeah, You know, it was, it was, it was probably around that time
• 15:23
when, like I talked about when I was on the screen porch and I
• 15:26
realized right there are people out there who are believing in
• 15:30
this, that, that, that, I mean, because look, everybody, I won't
• 15:36
go through the whole story, but this was an experiment.
• 15:39
You know, I don't like to call the joke because I I knew what I
• 15:42
was. I kind of, you know, I knew I
• 15:44
knew what I was doing, but but what's cool about UFD is like
• 15:49
the, it was really a community takeover from the very, very
• 15:53
beginning, right? I mean, it was, you know, I did,
• 15:56
it was I, I didn't, it was, it wasn't, it was me taking that
• 16:00
action, but the community has made it what it is.
• 16:03
And I think when I realized very early on, and, and it's maybe
• 16:09
something honestly that I, that I, I think most people out there
• 16:13
in the community wouldn't say that it's a downfall of mine,
• 16:16
but sometimes I do. I feel like I feel very
• 16:19
responsible to the people in the community and to the UFD
• 16:24
project. And it's really because, you
• 16:26
know, I kind of early on understood how important this
• 16:30
was and, and how people were trusting me and, and like, you
• 16:37
know, to me, trust is everything.
• 16:40
I mean, before I got into crypto, I built and I still have
• 16:44
a, what most people would say is a pretty successful gold and
• 16:49
silver YouTube channel because I love gold and silver as well.
• 16:53
And I built that on trust, right?
• 16:55
I to me that's like the most important thing, Like I'm not
• 17:00
going to tell people what to do. I've never told anybody you
• 17:03
should buy UFD. I've never told people you
• 17:06
should buy a stock or gold or silver or anything.
• 17:10
But what I, what I have been able to, I think build with
• 17:14
people is trust. I'll say this is what I've done,
• 17:17
but you know, remember I'm not, I don't have a crystal ball.
• 17:20
I'm not perfect. So that that building of trust
• 17:24
to me and that relationship and then the relationships that have
• 17:28
  been built in UFD, that's what's, I mean, that's
• 17:31
everything, right? I mean, I'm talking
• 17:32
relationships that I have with people.
• 17:35
I'm building a relationship with you right now, but I've built
• 17:38
relationships with people over the last year within UFD.
• 17:42
To me, that's like the most valuable thing in the world.
• 17:46
I mean, money matters, right? We all need to eat and pay bills
• 17:49
and everything else. But at the end of the day, like
• 17:53
community and trust, those are things.
• 17:56
And I think what's cool, I mean, it's not cool.
• 17:58
It's actually, I think it's a benefit to good people that are
• 18:02
in crypto, but there's a lot of mistrust in crypto.
• 18:07
You and I, you know, we could and I don't, I don't like to
• 18:09
focus on it. I don't even really like to talk
• 18:12
about it that much because we all know what goes on out there,
• 18:16
you know? And again, I'm not going to sit
• 18:17
here and say I've lived a absolute, I'm a perfect person
• 18:21
because I'm not nobody is. But I think it's a big
• 18:24
advantage. I mean, crypto has so many
• 18:27
advantages because of the way the blockchain was set up.
• 18:30
But to come in and and again, it wasn't a strategy was just me
• 18:34
doing like the next right thing over and over and over.
• 18:40
Yeah, that. That that it's a big, it's a big
• 18:42
advantage. And I believe the more time goes
• 18:45
by, the bigger advantage that it will continue to be that that
• 18:49
people have projects where they can trust you, right?
• 18:54
And but you got to build that right and.
• 18:57
And basically not. Yeah, yeah, I got to build it.
• 18:59
I read something once it said trust is accumulated like drop
• 19:04
by drop, but it can be lost in like one thing.
• 19:07
So anyway, that's that's that's my thought on that.
• 19:10
That's very true. That's very true.
• 19:11
And, and yeah, I mean, yeah, I guess as you said, the people
• 19:16
and, and building that trust over time is I guess the most
• 19:21
important thing in projects like this.
• 19:23
Like you can't even value that with money.
• 19:26
And like you said, the community and all those values.
• 19:28
I mean, I encountered that in Web 3 when I first went in in
• 19:33
Nifty Island with the with Web 3 gaming.
• 19:35
And that was insane as well. Like the support we got from
• 19:39
those people as well can in the cancer fight and and after and
• 19:44
even until now lots of them like my posts and stuff like that.
• 19:49
And then we DM and like turbo dragon, who is who we also do
• 19:54
streams together. Also we we were grinding an
• 19:57
AirDrop for a year together and lost and won and lots of things
• 20:01
happened. But but yeah, like all these
• 20:03
relationships and even now in the UFD like I've had already
• 20:07
have almost couple of friends are good, good, good, good
• 20:11
connections with. For example this around 98 or
• 20:16
UFD coral. I already ordered myself UFD
• 20:19
  hoodie. Yeah, UFD Corral.
• 20:22
  Yes, yes. UFD Corral, right?
• 20:26
I mean, one of our guest community members.
• 20:29
  Great, great guy. Great.
• 20:31
Guest and reached out to me and some others like Nico Needle.
• 20:37
I'm sorry, also sent me an NFD of UFD, which was such a lovely
• 20:42
present and another person I think around 98 but but yeah,
• 20:46
that was so amazing just to feel so welcome as well.
• 20:49
And and I've only had a couple of communities in in the whole
• 20:53
web 3 from my experience that I managed to feel like this, so
• 20:58
and. And and and and and.
• 21:00
I'm sorry and I will keep, try to keep my mouth shut, but I
• 21:02
want to touch on a couple things.
• 21:05
Number one, most people, the exciting thing is that I, I
• 21:09
believe most people in the world, you know, are good
• 21:12
people. So, you know, it gives projects
• 21:15
like yours, projects like UFD, the opportunity like our
• 21:20
addressable market, like our available pool of people who can
• 21:24
be interested. In practice, most people are
• 21:27
good everywhere you go. I think in every country,
• 21:30
everywhere on the planet, most people just want the same
• 21:32
things, want to have, want to belong, to be part of something.
• 21:37
So I think that's exciting. The other thing, because we're
• 21:40
not, I'm, I'm, I'm probably doing a bad job of doing this.
• 21:42
But again, I want to reiterate that like, you are also a UFD
• 21:47
community member, and it's really heartwarming.
• 21:50
That's probably like the best thing that I can hear all day is
• 21:53
for you to talk about. Yeah, when I came into UFD, when
• 21:55
I interacted a little bit, I met some really good people, right?
• 21:59
And, and, you know, that's because good attracts good,
• 22:03
which is what we say. And you know, I was a little
• 22:06
corny sometimes, but. But it is true.
• 22:08
It's true. And most people, yeah, I mean
• 22:13
you. Know good, I mean good attracts
• 22:15
good and I love it right and I think I actually made that one
• 22:18
up myself, but it gives us this really cool unique opportunity.
• 22:23
You know, it's funny because it hit me at last night I was I
• 22:27
don't know I was just like it just came into my mind.
• 22:30
It's like is I think about UFD and I was like a tagline and I
• 22:34
thought like like UFD like it feels good.
• 22:37
I mean you know like we're a meme coin.
• 22:39
We've got all this intricate community that all these things
• 22:43
going on but at the end of the day it's it feels good to be
• 22:47
part of UFD. Sorry, go ahead.
• 22:49
Yeah, no, but that's very true. I do.
• 22:52
I do feel quite like I can relate and quite quite a bit
• 22:58
with what you guys do as well. So and then one more thing and
• 23:03
actually two more things I wanted to ask.
• 23:05
But the first one was obviously I bet there were people who who
• 23:09
were there with you from the start till the beginning, some
• 23:11
cool left and stuff like that. But what was what was that that
• 23:15
surprised you the most about the people that stayed with you all
• 23:19
the way through, like through all the up and downs?
• 23:21
What was the thing that. Yeah, that that.
• 23:24
Well, because I know first hand, right?
• 23:27
I mean, I do a live stream every day for UFD and I'm working on
• 23:31
UFD every day. I, I think it, it, it inspired
• 23:36
me to know that there's other people out there who are willing
• 23:40
to have the discipline and the grit, right?
• 23:43
The grit meaning like sometimes you just got you know and and
• 23:47
determination to keep working every single day because not all
• 23:53
  days are. Good.
• 23:54
  You know, right? No.
• 23:55
  Right. Yeah.
• 23:56
I mean exactly consistency that. Consistency is not easy.
• 24:00
Yes, yeah. Yes, the maturity of the people
• 24:04
in the community and the quality of the people sportist you you
• 24:09
know, I'm I I'm I say it almost every single day that the
• 24:13
quality, the overall quality and I that just doesn't mean what
• 24:17
professional designations they have or how much money they have
• 24:22
it nothing to do with it. I just mean like the quality of
• 24:25
the people that are like honest, they have integrity, they're
• 24:29
hard working. And, and that's probably again,
• 24:34
what, what one of the big reasons why I was, you know, so
• 24:38
excited. We continue to be excited about,
• 24:40
about, about the project and about crypto in general, because
• 24:44
I, you know, I go back, I'll say it again, I promise I won't say
• 24:47
it again, but there, there, there are so many really good
• 24:50
quality people in the world. I think the the bad people get a
• 24:55
lot of the attention right, because they're usually the.
• 24:59
Loudest, that's the thing I mean, right, right.
• 25:03
Or they're or. They're doing things that that,
• 25:06
that, that, that create outrage. So people like, Oh my God, you
• 25:09
know, like, let's use an example, a rug pole.
• 25:12
And as I still see, I saw one the other the last night or the
• 25:15
night before, some guy who keeps doing these rug poles on people.
• 25:19
And so they get a lot of attention.
• 25:22
But the reality is for each one of those people, there's like
• 25:25
1000. Just decent, good people that
• 25:28
want want to be part of something that's safe and
• 25:30
reliable and where they can feel good and have some fun.
• 25:34
Hell yeah. Very, very, very relatable.
• 25:37
And the last one is a bit they did ever to start feel heavy
• 25:45
like doing all of this like, yeah.
• 25:49
  Yeah. I mean, you're, you're kind of
• 25:51
in the same position I am with the project now that you're
• 25:54
running the well you. I'm guessing no, in a different
• 25:57
position, but yeah, in, in a similar.
• 25:59
  Similar. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 26:02
You mean did I ever? Start to feel heavy, like oh
• 26:04
this is too much like like. Like, yeah, if you think like
• 26:07
all this crypto things, Oh my God, that's killing me.
• 26:09
Or does it just feel or does it just feel you to do more or or
• 26:15
because there's not not only good things happen.
• 26:18
Lots of I bet there. Oh yeah, you.
• 26:22
Know you know. So yeah, sure, sure.
• 26:24
Not that's what I'm. Wondering how do you also handle
• 26:28
  those days? Well, you know.
• 26:31
I I love this concept that anything worth achieving in life
• 26:38
is going to take work and and that there's going to be bad
• 26:42
days. OK, it's just the reality of
• 26:45
life and you know, if you can't have good days, unless you have
• 26:49
bad days and you know, the, the idea that you know, and, and
• 26:55
this is just the reality. Most people give up on things,
• 26:59
  right? Most people say, I can't, I
• 27:01
don't want to do this. I quit.
• 27:03
That, that by, by if it's something that you really
• 27:07
believe in, something that you really know is a project or a
• 27:12
commitment that's worth keeping that when you hit those points,
• 27:16
that's actually a good thing because that's when all your
• 27:19
competition quits. That's when everybody else says
• 27:21
I'm done, I give up, blah, blah, blah.
• 27:23
And, and sure, I've been through that many times and I've been
• 27:28
through it throughout my whole life.
• 27:29
I'm 55 years old. I can tell you what I've
• 27:31
learned, right, is that in what I've observed and just in life
• 27:36
in general, is that the people who stick with things that they
• 27:39
believe in are the ones that really wind up being successful.
• 27:43
And there are going to be hard days.
• 27:46
You know, that is true. I mean.
• 27:49
  It's I, don't I. Don't like to focus on it, you
• 27:52
know, but there's going to be times like this that are awesome
• 27:55
as well. And there's going to be
• 27:57
everything in between. And yeah, you know, sometimes I
• 27:59
get, I get a lot of DMS, right? And I get them like, Oh my God,
• 28:03
I, you know, the weird things, whatever.
• 28:06
And I just try to keep steering my ship in the right direction,
• 28:11
right, and doing what I need to do.
• 28:13
  Focus, yeah. And focus.
• 28:15
And and and, and not and realize, I mean, it's just, I
• 28:20
mean, I think it's one of the most powerful things to realize
• 28:23
in life. And it took me way too long.
• 28:25
So maybe I can help some of the younger people out there.
• 28:28
But it's like what? Anytime you get into something
• 28:31
new, it's fun and it's exciting, OK.
• 28:34
And it's like a shiny red ball. It's like a new toy, however you
• 28:37
want to say it. And no matter what it is,
• 28:40
eventually reality sets in. And I heard this guy, Alex
• 28:43
  Hormozi, talk about it. Yeah.
• 28:45
He calls it the valley of despair, right?
• 28:48
This thing that was fun and great.
• 28:50
And and I'm not, this applies to so many things in life,
• 28:55
  relationships, marriages, whatever, right?
• 28:57
Then you get to this point where you're like, oh, I didn't
• 29:00
realize this about what, you know, you, the reality sets in
• 29:04
and what's, what's critical is to be able to move past that
• 29:08
and, and get to a point where you're realistic about what
• 29:11
you're doing that yes, there's going to be UPS, there's going
• 29:13
to be downs, but it's something that I still have as a goal.
• 29:17
I want to keep pointing my ship in that direction.
• 29:19
And if you stay with it, right, then success comes sooner,
• 29:25
  sooner. Or later.
• 29:27
Yeah, I do agree very, very much as well.
• 29:29
Again, yeah. But yeah, it's it's just yeah,
• 29:34
you speak a lot of what I do, what I do actually have in my
• 29:37
mind. But I just remembered some some
• 29:40
things like for example, like, do you also have days like for
• 29:43
example, before stream? I sometimes do that to make
• 29:46
myself go live. For example, I post on X that I
• 29:49
will go live in one hour. Because sometimes you're either
• 29:53
scared or something happens and something, you know, something
• 29:56
can happen in life and you just, you just want to find an excuse,
• 30:00
you know, to do something else or something.
• 30:02
And then you bump. And I think those are really
• 30:05
also very many of those moments that make your break.
• 30:09
I think that when you do want to give up and run away, you think
• 30:12
you know what? No, dude, let's let's go.
• 30:15
Let's sit down and let's. Yeah, yeah, I know.
• 30:19
  I. Know, I know I know exactly what
• 30:21
you're saying sportist. And again, it's a powerful.
• 30:25
I'll tell you a quick story. When I was 5251 years old, OK,
• 30:31
I, I got a little job I do at night.
• 30:33
And you know, I was at a point in my life where where I felt
• 30:39
like I was getting older, but I wanted to do something more, you
• 30:43
know, like I knew I wanted to do and I knew I loved YouTube, but
• 30:46
I'd never really stuck with YouTube.
• 30:48
And Long story short, I made this commitment to myself on my
• 30:52
  52nd birthday. I'm like, I'm going to make a
• 30:54
YouTube video, one video a day and I'm going to learn something
• 30:59
new about growing YouTube channels, making good videos,
• 31:03
whatever. I make one video a day and I'll
• 31:05
learn something every day. And it was, and I was so excited
• 31:09
and you know, feeling like this is great.
• 31:11
I'm going to do it. I'm going to blah, blah.
• 31:13
But I, but I made this commitment that I would do it to
• 31:16
my, to myself for one year. And I knew from experience that
• 31:20
at some point I was going to want to give up and not do it.
• 31:24
Well, Fast forward about 5 weeks into that and I did it.
• 31:28
I made a video every day and I learned something new every day
• 31:31
for about 5 weeks. And then I came down here 1
• 31:34
morning sitting right where I am right now and it wasn't fun
• 31:38
  anymore. I was feeling down.
• 31:41
I was like, and I'm like, what am I doing?
• 31:43
Like people are making fun of me because I'm a YouTube and blah
• 31:46
blah blah. But I knew in my heart because I
• 31:49
knew enough about what was going on in the world that this was
• 31:52
really a big opportunity and a great thing.
• 31:54
But I, I, I was just down here thinking this is stupid.
• 31:58
I should, you know, you're, you're making a fool of
• 32:00
yourself. I'll give up, blah, blah.
• 32:02
And it dawned on me, I'm like, you knew this was going to
• 32:05
happen. You knew you were going to hit
• 32:07
that point where you didn't want to press the go live button or
• 32:10
hit the record button. And I, and I said, you said you
• 32:14
were going to keep doing it. And I did.
• 32:15
I made a video that morning. That was before I did live
• 32:18
streams. I made a video, I edited it and
• 32:22
I got done. And I thought, well, this is
• 32:23
going to be a really poor performing video because I'm
• 32:28
just not, you know, motivated. And I was down, OK.
• 32:31
And I put the video out and it did really great.
• 32:34
And it, it taught me a lesson like, you know what?
• 32:37
Sometimes our minds can can sabotage us.
• 32:41
And you need the you. Know we can be our.
• 32:44
Own worst enemies and and then and I just kept going and I had
• 32:49
other periods like that. I know exactly what you're
• 32:51
saying, right? Some mornings I'm down here, I'm
• 32:53
like, Oh, I got, you know, that's part of life.
• 32:57
And, and, and it and, and what for me, what overcomes it it
• 33:01
with UFD and the UFD live streams is I know that that
• 33:05
there's this incredible community of people out there
• 33:09
and I know that they're they're working hard every day and that
• 33:12
I can show up every day. I do.
• 33:16
  I do. I do.
• 33:17
  Yeah. Yeah.
• 33:18
I mean, if they can, why wouldn't you as well?
• 33:20
  Right. Right.
• 33:21
  Yeah, Exactly. Yeah.
• 33:23
Yeah. That that was very inspiring and
• 33:26
beautiful, actually. Well, you know I can sit.
• 33:29
Down here and lie, I always preach honesty and say, no, I'm
• 33:33
excited. I'm, I'm and I am excited every
• 33:35
day. And then, you know, but there's,
• 33:37
there's, there's, you know, there's reality as well.
• 33:39
And I'm not going to lie to you or to the other people out
• 33:42
there. You know, everybody knows we all
• 33:45
are kind of experiencing life, I think, and in a lot of very
• 33:48
similar ways. And which makes it important for
• 33:52
us to be honest with each other. And and that's, and that's how
• 33:56
we build, you know, if, if you're, if, if, if, if you're,
• 34:00
I'll be quick as I say this. But if, if you're asking me that
• 34:03
question and you because you know what it's like to go live,
• 34:06
you know what it feels like sometimes it's scary, right?
• 34:09
Literally, yeah. Yeah, and I and I.
• 34:12
Say to you, wow, well, no, I just did.
• 34:14
For me, it's fun every day. I just but you know, and it is
• 34:17
fun every day. It is right but but it but if
• 34:20
I'm not on then you're going to think, well, there's something
• 34:21
wrong with me. Well, there's nothing.
• 34:24
I mean nothing. There's nothing wrong with you.
• 34:26
  Sportis. Cheers.
• 34:28
  Cheers. Cheers, Ben.
• 34:30
That was very nice. I mean, yeah, I honestly just in
• 34:35
general just just very happy we managed to to, yeah, have this
• 34:39
chat and didn't expect in general, not from UFD, not not
• 34:44
even from me actually a bit as well.
• 34:46
Like, I mean, I never expected that what I'm doing also will be
• 34:50
able to affect so many people. If you think about it, I've had
• 34:54
an interview with an actual lady who's fighting cancer here.
• 34:57
And we also gave some advice and stuff like, like I did.
• 35:01
I didn't expect that anything of that's going to happen.
• 35:04
But. But slowly I understood that.
• 35:09
Yeah, I just, I understood my way.
• 35:11
Literally when I started doing this, I understood what I have
• 35:15
to do with my life more or less. You know, I kind of have this
• 35:19
almost a revelation. Let's say I, you know, when
• 35:22
you're 33 years old, then you still want to, you're still
• 35:26
thinking what you want to be when you grow up, you know,
• 35:28
something like that. And then you find it.
• 35:32
I mean, I knew I knew I was, I was an all right guy and that I
• 35:38
knew that I can somehow find a way to maybe somehow help
• 35:42
someone someday. But but this all happened and I
• 35:46
have this opportunity to as well help people and I'll do my best
• 35:51
to to to keep things in their their favor as well, you know?
• 35:56
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, and if you.
• 35:59
And if you keep showing up right and you keep being willing to
• 36:03
learn, I think that's important as well, not just for crypto
• 36:08
projects, but just in life in general.
• 36:10
And I was having this discussion with a guy from the UFD
• 36:14
community last night. Exit the matrix.
• 36:16
I get very passionate when I talk about it.
• 36:18
Like we there, there's no excuses for any of us right now
• 36:23
because you know, we, we are living in a period of time where
• 36:27
you can learn anything you want. You want to learn how to be a
• 36:31
plumber. You want to learn how to be a
• 36:33
plumber. Well, go watch, you know, start
• 36:36
watching YouTube videos about how to be a plumber.
• 36:38
You want to learn how to do anything almost right.
• 36:41
It's like the opportunity. We're, we're really gifted with
• 36:45
this unbelief 'cause he was talking to me about these AI
• 36:48
courses that are available from Stanford University to learn
• 36:51
about AI. And I'm like, it's so wild.
• 36:54
I mean, 30 years ago you couldn't do that, right?
• 36:58
I mean, there just wasn't this opportunity.
• 37:00
So we've got this opportunity to learn and to connect.
• 37:04
And Web 3 is really more about, I think the connection, right?
• 37:08
As I know a lot about Web 2 and and YouTube and that like social
• 37:12
media platforms, I think. But I'll tell you what, in Web
• 37:16
three, what we are doing right right now, me and you and all
• 37:20
the viewers, we got 155 people joining us from like we are, we
• 37:24
are like, I think I, I would imagine that most of the viewers
• 37:27
out there feel like they know you better now, know me better
• 37:31
now, even though they may not be directly interacting with us.
• 37:34
And it's, it's just a really cool fortunate time.
• 37:39
Sorry that we're living in that, that I think smart people are
• 37:44
willing to take advantage of. Yeah.
• 37:47
And, and, and you should definitely to to use this time
• 37:51
as much as you can. And, and as you said, people
• 37:55
watching stream get to know you a little bit.
• 37:57
That's what that that's why I wore the Saint Louis shirt.
• 37:59
I watched your streams, you know, so in a way, I also got to
• 38:05
know you a little bit better. And I'm glad I did and I'm glad
• 38:08
I still do. And I almost made it as a
• 38:11
tradition to watch you have these streams now.
• 38:13
So I will continue doing that. And and just glad to hang out in
• 38:18
the check as well, as much as time lets me as well.
• 38:21
But but yeah, it's just awesome to to be a part of this stuff
• 38:25
and and you know what I want? To say thank you to our sponsor,
• 38:28
my sponsors, Ron's basement sponsor, because I'm not here
• 38:31
without them. So thank you to Ledger, right,
• 38:33
Ledger's, the cryptocurrency security leader they're signer
• 38:37
devices. Ledger Wallet are now allowing
• 38:40
people to do everything within the Ledger environment and also
• 38:44
of course, Moon Pay because sportist, I'm not here without
• 38:47
moon pay. It was literally my very first
• 38:49
crypto transaction and they are the fintech leader, growing,
• 38:53
innovating, adding much value to the overall crypto world.
• 38:58
I want to show before we go. You have 5 more minutes for me.
• 39:02
Sure. Yeah, I want to show.
• 39:05
Oh, First off, here's your brother again Rastelon TV.
• 39:10
But I also want to show your make sure I got the right one
• 39:14
here. Hold on here it is.
• 39:16
All right, share this tab. The viewer should be seen now,
• 39:22
the sportist, right? Can they see that on the screen?
• 39:24
  Right? My other.
• 39:25
Monitor's not. Working right, Yeah, yeah, you
• 39:28
can see. My profile yes, yes OK, so this.
• 39:30
Is the sportist who's joining us this morning and he goes by the
• 39:35
handle at G Vito 15, where you can learn about him, follow him.
• 39:41
And there's the token, right dollar sign cancer would be they
• 39:44
want to if people want to want to check that out.
• 39:47
Yeah, there's the official. Website restaurant.tv where you
• 39:51
can also check out that we're fully transparent as well about
• 39:54
our donations and who we help and stuff like that.
• 39:58
And a lot of information as well is on on the website.
• 40:01
So you can check that out for more things.
• 40:04
I think there's also interview with you on there.
• 40:07
OK. So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, if
• 40:10
  you're so. There's the website, there's
• 40:12
Ravio, our friend, and oh, that is awesome, Transparent Ledger,
• 40:18
love that. Yep, yes, thank you, Susie
• 40:23
upstairs, Susie chimed in. OK, so here's the here's the
• 40:26
  website, rastalon.tv, correct? That's cool.
• 40:31
  That is awesome. Yep.
• 40:32
And Susie mentioned on the front of UFD news and I, I want to be
• 40:39
careful how I announce this, but but apparently now, which is a
• 40:43
big deal, Coinbase, the big exchange, centralized exchange
• 40:48
here in the USA, lot of the UFD community is able to now
• 40:52
purchase and I guess the the crypto community at large is
• 40:56
able to actually purchase UFD tokens on Coinbase, which is a
• 41:00
big, big deal, honestly. And we're trying to figure out
• 41:04
some people can do it. Some, yeah, some people can't.
• 41:07
I'm one of those who can't. But a lot of people, it's not
• 41:12
showing up. And there's, I think the general
• 41:14
consensus because at this point is that maybe as the servers
• 41:17
update, I don't know, we're going to keep just that crypto.
• 41:20
Apps in general are usually not the best ones.
• 41:22
  Yeah. So it's.
• 41:23
It's in the profit, but but definitely and it's big exciting
• 41:27
news, yeah, that that people are are are are able to purchase
• 41:33
Unicorn fart dust on Coinbase, which can open us up because a
• 41:37
lot of people and I'm sure you've experienced experienced
• 41:40
this as well. You know, some people that are
• 41:43
new to crypto. I think Coinbase and the big
• 41:45
centralized exchanges offer a good, you know, like an easier,
• 41:49
a good bridge, a good. Bridge.
• 41:50
  Yeah, exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 41:53
Yeah, as opposed. I know a lot of people.
• 41:55
Who have Coinbase but don't have a phantom or method as well for
• 41:58
  example. Exactly.
• 41:59
  Yep. Yep, exactly.
• 42:00
  So that's exciting news, Sportis.
• 42:03
Is there anything I forgot to ask you or?
• 42:06
No, just in general was very happy to chat with you man.
• 42:09

• 42:50
I tell, I tell you what. Man, I say I'm not here without
• 42:54
moon pay, which is true, but I'm definitely not here without
• 43:00
  Susie. Yeah.
• 43:01
  She's. She's, I saw.
• 43:04
Somewhere in the chat that she's the real CEO.
• 43:09
Oh yeah, she. Yeah, she's a wonderful,
• 43:12
wonderful wife, friend and overall I, I say this behind her
• 43:18
back all the time to people I really believe like like one of
• 43:22
the one of the most super good hearted, nice people on the
• 43:25
planet. So anyhow, thank you upstairs,
• 43:28

• 43:40
he's running the cancer meme coin.
• 43:42
You can check that out as well. Check out their website,
• 43:45
rastalon.tv was the website address right that we showed
• 43:50
earlier. And and this is awesome.
• 43:52
And I also, oh, wait a minute before I forget, I've got my
• 43:55
list of dusters around the world.
• 43:58
And as you can see, we added Canary Islands baby.
• 44:03
This will be in the UFD. This will be in the Unicorn Fart
• 44:06
Test Community Museum at some point and I'll always smile when
• 44:12
I see that check mark next to the.
• 44:14
I would have never thought that I would have the Canary Islands
• 44:17
  on that list. So.
