- 0:05Speaker 1: And now.
- 0:19Speaker 2: The mob guys, Krayko, Yelling Dolce.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Now he doesn't want to do it. Now he doesn't
- 0:24Speaker 1: want to do it.
- 0:26Speaker 2: On... we're going to go to the mattresses this morning
- 0:42Speaker 2: because it's early voting it is and it's time to
- 0:46Speaker 2: get off your duff and go vote uh vote twice
- 0:50Speaker 2: uh Bring a dead mail-in vote with you. Can we
- 0:55Speaker 2: say that? Can we advocate mail? I don't know.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I don't know if we can.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I just did too late. A lot of local races.
- 1:03Speaker 2: My firm has been involved in some investigations. There's videos
- 1:07Speaker 2: we've been doing on the district attorney in Fort Bend County,
- 1:10Speaker 2: Brian Middleton, who is one of the Soros prosecutors, one
- 1:15Speaker 2: of the guys that was elected in part with a
- 1:18Speaker 2: ton of money from George Soros. In Fort Bend, there
- 1:22Speaker 2: was a big fake hate scandal over the last few
- 1:24Speaker 2: years where there was a guy named Taral Patel who
- 1:28Speaker 2: was running for Congress. And he was making posts under
- 1:34Speaker 2: fake people's names that made Republicans all look like we
- 1:39Speaker 2: were racist towards South Asians. Of course, there's a huge
- 1:42Speaker 2: South Asian population there. And Brian Middleton's office prosecuted them.
- 1:47Speaker 2: But there's some tape recordings and text messages that we've
- 1:50Speaker 2: obtained that showed that it sure sounded like Brian Middleton
- 1:54Speaker 2: was in on the game until until it became too
- 1:58Speaker 2: big of a problem to ignore. That all these Democrats
- 2:01Speaker 2: out there all knew about this fake hate thing and
- 2:04Speaker 2: thought it was real funny until it wasn't. And when
- 2:09Speaker 2: I see a prosecutor talk the way and I really
- 2:12Speaker 2: invite people. To go online, especially our Fort Bend County listeners,
- 2:16Speaker 2: go online and, you know, don't take my word for it.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Listen to the tape. Listen to the text messages. I
- 2:24Speaker 2: think when I hear a DA talking on the phone
- 2:27Speaker 2: about protecting people and about, you know, retaliation if you
- 2:32Speaker 2: don't play along. Sure. Don't get along with me. That's
- 2:36Speaker 2: just a DA that just doesn't deserve to be a DA.
- 2:40Speaker 2: We need DAs that are like equal opportunity offenders.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Yeah, well, and when you're running against somebody who's a
- 2:44Speaker 3: board-certified criminal law attorney in Sean McDonald who would do
- 2:48Speaker 3: a very different job there, it even more screams the
- 2:53Speaker 3: point of why are you choosing this person, the Soros-funded
- 2:56Speaker 3: person on this side that's doing as much as he
- 2:58Speaker 3: can to put criminals back on the street and not
- 3:00Speaker 3: someone who would do the opposite?
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and look, I don't normally say who hires us,
- 3:07Speaker 2: because at the end of the day, I'm going to
- 3:08Speaker 2: say what Wayne thinks, and if Wayne doesn't think, I'm
- 3:11Speaker 2: not going to say something just because somebody paid me
- 3:14Speaker 2: a couple of bucks to go say it. I know
- 3:16Speaker 2: I'm a slime for hire, someone posted the other day,
- 3:19Speaker 2: which actually has a ring to it. I think I
- 3:22Speaker 2: might actually make that my motto, slime for hire. But
- 3:26Speaker 2: I'm a paid character assassin, the district attorney says. But
- 3:31Speaker 2: I was hired by the campaign and I'm hired sometimes
- 3:35Speaker 2: by political campaigns, not often, but sometimes. And McDonald wanted
- 3:39Speaker 2: me to investigate these things, but I have gotten, I
- 3:42Speaker 2: did not know him, didn't know him from Adam before.
- 3:46Speaker 2: And I have found him to be so ethical. And
- 3:51Speaker 2: after I did my video, which he did not see
- 3:54Speaker 2: in advance, which he did not have anything to do
- 3:56Speaker 2: with writing. He actually said, I wish I could pull
- 4:00Speaker 2: it up. He actually said, I really, in fact, I
- 4:02Speaker 2: think I'm going to, because it's such a good, and
- 4:05Speaker 2: I'll just take about 10 minutes to look for it
- 4:08Speaker 2: while I'm, while you're, everybody's listening this morning. But he said,
- 4:12Speaker 2: I can't tell enough people how amazing you are and
- 4:16Speaker 2: how you fight for people to see the light. It's
- 4:20Speaker 2: good versus evil. And you would unashamedly expose it all.
- 4:24Speaker 2: And I fully expect if I go down that road,
- 4:27Speaker 2: you come after me as well. First of all, he's right.
- 4:33Speaker 2: If I ended up helping a campaign expose an opponent
- 4:39Speaker 2: and the guy that gets in the office partially as
- 4:42Speaker 2: a result turns out to be a weasel, then I
- 4:47Speaker 2: will do that for free because I actually think this
- 4:52Speaker 2: McDonald guy is ethical as crap. I really do. I've
- 4:56Speaker 2: known him 10 years. I don't know how he what
- 4:59Speaker 2: he does with his private life. I'm just talking about his,
- 5:02Speaker 2: his talking to me and what's important to him and
- 5:06Speaker 2: the numbers he's putting out, showing how domestic violence prosecutions
- 5:10Speaker 2: are way down, which I think is a problem for
- 5:12Speaker 2: women voters out there. That the DA is talking with, look,
- 5:18Speaker 2: I'm a foul language guy. People know me. I'm a, right. Sure.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It's amazing. I don't cuss on the air. I understand. Right.
- 5:25Speaker 2: When you come over here, I say like, I drop
- 5:28Speaker 2: F-bombs every five seconds, right? That's just me. But when
- 5:32Speaker 2: you're a district attorney and you're talking, I just think
- 5:37Speaker 2: you don't do that with politically. You don't say, hey.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I think you censor yourself.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. I even censor myself occasionally, right? Now, I
- 5:47Speaker 2: have because I'm on social media now. I do say
- 5:50Speaker 2: BS a lot more. I do play– What people actually say,
- 5:55Speaker 2: because I don't really like bleeping things because I think
- 5:58Speaker 2: it does ruin the the, you know, the content. Yeah, personally.
- 6:03Speaker 2: So I'm a big believer in that. But I just
- 6:05Speaker 2: think that's going to be a pretty big race is
- 6:07Speaker 2: a big race in Missouri County. Eugene Howard, who's running
- 6:12Speaker 2: as a Democrat, who we did a video on, who
- 6:16Speaker 2: apparently showed his pee pee to a woman.
- 6:18Speaker 1: That's not good. That's bad.
- 6:20Speaker 2: No, that's a great look. I think you should run
- 6:22Speaker 2: on that. I think you should say, elect me because
- 6:26Speaker 2: I send nude pictures to women.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Well, you know what's funny?
- 6:29Speaker 3: You know what's funny about this is some of these
- 6:31Speaker 3: things that these guys are accused of that are on
- 6:33Speaker 3: the left, if it's a Republican, they would act as
- 6:36Speaker 3: though this definitely makes him incapable of being a politician.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 6:39Speaker 3: Like if the same sin exists on the other side,
- 6:42Speaker 3: or even a lesser sin exists on the other side,
- 6:44Speaker 3: they'd go after it as if it was the most
- 6:47Speaker 3: important part of the election. In this case, they want
- 6:50Speaker 3: to ignore that and pretend it was like a one-off mistake.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I don't remember what the exact excuse was. What was
- 6:55Speaker 1: the excuse he gave for that? Or does he deny
- 6:57Speaker 1: it completely?
- 6:58Speaker 2: I think he said the pee-pee thing that she walked
- 7:02Speaker 2: in on him while he had his pee-pee on. And
- 7:05Speaker 2: then he said the video of him, or I think him,
- 7:08Speaker 2: having sex with someone, and he said she wanted me to.
- 7:13Speaker 2: And then in Brazoria County, we have him, we have...
- 7:15Speaker 2: an independent of the Cinda Henry, and that's going to
- 7:19Speaker 2: be interesting to see how much that independent gains. And
- 7:21Speaker 2: then we have the former Freeport port commissioner, Rob Grieske,
- 7:26Speaker 2: who's running, and he's been saddled with these nonsense allegations
- 7:30Speaker 2: about AI. And look, I share concerns about these data
- 7:35Speaker 2: centers in the sense of how they are being brought
- 7:39Speaker 2: to a town. That I.
- 7:43Speaker 2: You don't surprise people with that, right? You say, hey,
- 7:46Speaker 2: this is what's going on. Here's our process. Here's why
- 7:49Speaker 2: we think it works, blah, blah, blah. I also think
- 7:53Speaker 2: that you have to make sure that the data centers
- 7:57Speaker 2: don't have a mass negative effect on the economy in
- 8:02Speaker 2: terms of water and utilities, right? Because these data center
- 8:06Speaker 2: people obviously have money coming out their butt so they
- 8:08Speaker 2: can afford to do things that will make it better.
- 8:12Speaker 2: But This whole data centers are evil thing, I just
- 8:17Speaker 2: think is just a dumb thing. Look, I get it.
- 8:24Speaker 2: I get the community's concern because I think a lot
- 8:27Speaker 2: of these deals are done in dark, and then by
- 8:29Speaker 2: the time people find out about them, they're– and I
- 8:31Speaker 2: don't like that. But I also understand that there is
- 8:34Speaker 2: a reality of the world now that if we don't compete.
- 8:43Speaker 1: No, and I think it's opportunistic.
- 8:45Speaker 3: To be totally honest with you, I do think that
- 8:46Speaker 3: right now the data center thing, it's inevitable. Because as
- 8:50Speaker 3: you said, competition with China is one of many, many
- 8:53Speaker 3: reasons that this is going to become more and more
- 8:55Speaker 3: ubiquitous throughout the entire country.
- 8:58Speaker 1: We're going to have data centers all over the place.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I agree with you.
- 9:01Speaker 3: You can't just tell people that don't want it that
- 9:03Speaker 3: they have to take it.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Like you need to have a conversation. But it's necessary
- 9:08Speaker 1: and it will continue to be necessary.
- 9:09Speaker 2: And so.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I think it's an.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Opportunity for the Democrats to shape it as a Republican
- 9:14Speaker 3: thing when they'll do it, too. Like the data center
- 9:17Speaker 3: thing won't say it might stop to the degree it's going.
- 9:20Speaker 3: If the other side gets in power, they might slow
- 9:22Speaker 3: it down a bit, much to our detriment if China
- 9:25Speaker 3: takes a lead on us. But they're not going to
- 9:27Speaker 3: stop it completely because it's a it's a rolling avalanche
- 9:30Speaker 3: of a thing that I don't think can be stopped
- 9:32Speaker 3: at this point. A lot of people are turning to A.I.,
- 9:37Speaker 3: for more and more things that happen at work. Like
- 9:39Speaker 3: a lot of people, a lot of companies, and it
- 9:42Speaker 3: will keep being a huge byproduct of how we fight wars,
- 9:46Speaker 3: how so much of our technology advances, AI will be
- 9:49Speaker 3: a core component of it.
- 9:50Speaker 1: So data centers, inevitable.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Can I make you AI instead of you?
- 9:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you could.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Uh can we do that during the break.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Sure let's go with an ai craig uh for the
- 10:00Speaker 3: next segment you got to tell him what you want
- 10:02Speaker 3: him to say or if you just want him to
- 10:03Speaker 3: shut up for the whole segment he can do that too.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I think that the less less is more less.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Is more okay uh we'll see because i'm not going
- 10:11Speaker 3: to follow that rule quick blake a lot more ksev
- 10:14Speaker 3: radio the voice of texas we're the mob guys uh
- 10:17Speaker 3: uh in your morning show.
- 10:22Speaker 2: All right, it's the Mob Guys here on AM700 KLCB.
- 10:26Speaker 2: It's a Monday. It is the beginning of early voting.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Get out of your chairs. Go vote. Tell all your friends,
- 10:33Speaker 2: your relatives, because the battle is officially underway. All this
- 10:40Speaker 2: other stuff has been just pregame. This is the game now.
- 10:45Speaker 2: And we'll be looking to see who's turning out where.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I'll be really interested to to see a vote in
- 10:53Speaker 2: the African-American communities because I listen to some folks who
- 10:59Speaker 2: are telling me that the mail-in ballot applications were down
- 11:03Speaker 2: a lot in the African-American community. That could be an indication,
- 11:08Speaker 2: an early indicator, that black folks ain't so hot on
- 11:12Speaker 2: some of these Democratic candidates because just like the Republican
- 11:17Speaker 2: Party is going through some stuff, the Democratic Party is
- 11:19Speaker 2: too as it is becoming– more influenced by socialists and
- 11:25Speaker 2: communists or ne'er-do-wells or whatever you want to call them.
- 11:29Speaker 2: And black folk culturally are not liberal. They're pretty conservative.
- 11:39Speaker 2: And Hispanic folks are very conservative. Are Hispanic folks going
- 11:43Speaker 2: to embrace– that's why Michigan is kind of interesting, right?
- 11:48Speaker 2: Are black folks going to come out in Michigan– Are
- 11:50Speaker 2: black folks going to come out in Texas when Jasmine Crockett,
- 11:54Speaker 2: you know, didn't endorse. Right. I mean, I think that's
- 11:58Speaker 2: going to be one of the interesting stories of this election.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Sure.
- 12:02Speaker 2: And then we know everybody's mad at Donald Trump, but
- 12:05Speaker 2: Donald Trump's name is not on the ballot. And, you know,
- 12:09Speaker 2: how is are they going to be more mad at him?
- 12:12Speaker 2: I know people are frustrated about gas prices. I blame
- 12:16Speaker 2: that in part. on not selling what we were going
- 12:20Speaker 2: to do in Iran before we did it. I think
- 12:22Speaker 2: we would have bought ourselves some more cushion. I also
- 12:26Speaker 2: think that I think there's a lot of people in
- 12:29Speaker 2: the White House that would be bombing Iran today, but
- 12:32Speaker 2: they're afraid they're going to make it worse. Right?
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's true.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yeah. But I think after the election, if I'm Trump
- 12:39Speaker 2: on the morning after the election, I bomb.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Sure. I think you bomb now, to be honest. It's whatever.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Well, but I'm classier than you, so I don't like
- 12:52Speaker 2: to rock the boat.
- 12:53Speaker 1: No, no, you like to wait a little longer.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I like to play the long game.
- 12:57Speaker 3: No, I would say that it'll be very interesting to
- 13:00Speaker 3: see what early voter turnout is and where it's coming from.
- 13:02Speaker 3: And I think there are a lot of people who
- 13:04Speaker 3: are disenfranchised on both sides of the aisle. I think
- 13:06Speaker 3: there's people on the right and the left who believe
- 13:08Speaker 3: their party is too extreme for them and that because
- 13:11Speaker 3: of that extremity, they'd rather just sit around and not
- 13:13Speaker 3: vote than go out and vote.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I also think that the inability of Republicans, and I
- 13:21Speaker 2: say this as a conservative, the inability of Republicans to
- 13:26Speaker 2: at least try to pretend that they're trying to fix
- 13:30Speaker 2: some of these structural issues, the issues of housing and
- 13:34Speaker 2: how much it costs to get into a house and
- 13:36Speaker 2: how much a house costs with interest rates is problematic.
- 13:41Speaker 2: I do think health care is all screwed up. I do.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I just got notified the other day that my, that
- 13:48Speaker 2: my United Medicare thing is not going to be available
- 13:52Speaker 2: for me next year. I guess this as good as
- 13:54Speaker 2: it was. And, and so I'm, I'm, you know, luckily
- 13:57Speaker 2: I have someone that helps me with that, but, but
- 14:00Speaker 2: a lot of people don't. And I, I, you know,
- 14:02Speaker 2: as a senior now, I, I don't understand any of
- 14:06Speaker 2: that stuff. And, and I just think healthcare is all
- 14:09Speaker 2: messed up. My daughter is on Obamacare until she gets married. And,
- 14:13Speaker 2: She thinks it's the worst insurance company she's ever seen
- 14:16Speaker 2: in her life.
- 14:17Speaker 1: It is the worst.
- 14:18Speaker 3: And I'll say this about mortgage rates, because you said
- 14:20Speaker 3: that Republicans need to do a better job of messaging
- 14:22Speaker 3: on it.
- 14:22Speaker 1: It's true.
- 14:23Speaker 3: But Democrats do a horrible job of creating horrible interest rates.
- 14:27Speaker 3: When Biden took office in 2021, interest rates were at
- 14:30Speaker 3: a record low of two point seven seven percent. When
- 14:32Speaker 3: he left office, they were at over seven percent. So
- 14:35Speaker 3: Biden single handedly created a a, you know, 300 percent
- 14:39Speaker 3: increase in what a typical mortgage rate is for a house.
- 14:42Speaker 3: That's the kind of thing that they pretend isn't true.
- 14:45Speaker 3: And then it is true when they're in office. And
- 14:47Speaker 3: then the people who voted for them wind up even
- 14:50Speaker 3: more hurt by their policies than they believe they're going
- 14:52Speaker 3: to be.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but look, people, right or wrong, have a very
- 14:57Speaker 2: short-term memory. They do. The reality is the price increases.
- 15:02Speaker 2: The vast majority of it, 80%, 90%, went up during
- 15:07Speaker 2: Biden's administration because they spent all that money on COVID nonsense.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Right? They still spend it.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Still do.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Still do. the, the tariffs, while they have raised some prices,
- 15:17Speaker 2: I don't think the tariffs are responsible for skyrocketing is
- 15:22Speaker 2: the word that CNN uses, right? That they're skyrocketing, right?
- 15:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I don't believe that, but, but, but the tariffs can
- 15:31Speaker 2: be explained as well. What I, what I, I, what
- 15:34Speaker 2: I never hear, what I hear too much of from Trump,
- 15:37Speaker 2: from my taste is it, it is because I did it.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Like I, I say it so, so it's so. I
- 15:45Speaker 2: think you have to bring people along. They need to
- 15:49Speaker 2: understand more of what we're doing, right? What the theory is,
- 15:55Speaker 2: what the future is. People are frustrated, but I don't
- 16:00Speaker 2: think it's I think it's a more legitimate frustration than
- 16:03Speaker 2: young people in previous generations who who were mad at
- 16:07Speaker 2: the man and mad at rich people. I think the
- 16:10Speaker 2: growing wealth inequality is an issue.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Sure.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I think the tax code is an issue. And I
- 16:15Speaker 2: think do I think tax and billionaires are going to
- 16:19Speaker 2: get us out of this mess? Of course not. Of
- 16:21Speaker 2: course not. But but. Do I think it's becoming a
- 16:25Speaker 2: issue that we can no longer ignore? Yeah, I do.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Yeah, but what does that mean, I guess? And I
- 16:32Speaker 3: don't mean this for just you. I mean this for
- 16:34Speaker 3: the politicians because the solutions that have been offered by
- 16:36Speaker 3: the left are horrible. The solutions that could be offered
- 16:39Speaker 3: by the right, I think they're better, but I don't know.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I think that part of what you have to live
- 16:45Speaker 3: with is the the cards you're dealt the life that
- 16:48Speaker 3: you're given and in the world you live in now
- 16:50Speaker 3: capitalism still much better than communism than socialism yeah exactly
- 16:55Speaker 3: and even if it's gotten to a point where there
- 16:57Speaker 3: are some people who disproportionately out like there there's there's
- 17:01Speaker 3: the tippy top of the one percent that make that
- 17:03Speaker 3: number look so much worse than it actually is like
- 17:06Speaker 3: if you if you remove the elon musk's of the
- 17:07Speaker 3: world the trillionaires of the world It looks better. But yeah,
- 17:11Speaker 3: wages need to go up. And I think that there's
- 17:13Speaker 3: a responsibility on the people themselves. I know a lot
- 17:16Speaker 3: of people who accepted the salary they were offered without
- 17:20Speaker 3: even attempting to negotiate it because they didn't think they should.
- 17:24Speaker 3: And that's people early in their career. That's people later
- 17:26Speaker 3: in their career. And that's just wrong. Part of what
- 17:30Speaker 3: you're making, you have some capability to try to push
- 17:33Speaker 3: for more. I do think that it's hard to blame
- 17:36Speaker 3: just the rich guys and say that they're the only
- 17:39Speaker 3: part of the problem because I know too many people
- 17:41Speaker 3: have taken too little and they could have convinced their
- 17:44Speaker 3: company to go a little bit higher. And that might've
- 17:46Speaker 3: made their life a little bit better. There has to
- 17:49Speaker 3: be some responsibility and some blame thrown that way.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, I don't believe in wage increases personally for
- 17:56Speaker 2: my staff. I really don't. I pay you what I
- 18:00Speaker 2: paid you and that's it. That's the rest of your life. Look,
- 18:04Speaker 2: the problem for me, and I'm being serious here is
- 18:08Speaker 2: if part of my problem is that I, people keep
- 18:12Speaker 2: getting more money and there's only so much you can
- 18:15Speaker 2: charge for a service before it becomes, you know, like
- 18:20Speaker 2: I'm good, but I'm not like, you know, worth, I'm
- 18:23Speaker 2: not like $ 1, 500 an hour. Good. I guess I am.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I mean, I think I am, but you know what
- 18:28Speaker 2: I mean? Yeah. And, and so, The only way it
- 18:31Speaker 2: works for me is to basically employ slaves. And I
- 18:35Speaker 2: know we're not supposed to say that, but I don't care.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I haven't said anything particularly inappropriate.
- 18:43Speaker 1: No, I don't think so.
- 18:44Speaker 3: I think today has been nice. But again, I think
- 18:48Speaker 3: that there are people who don't accept any blame for
- 18:51Speaker 3: the situation they're in, any at all. And even if
- 18:53Speaker 3: it's like 1%, 5% of the blame, if you've been
- 18:56Speaker 3: truly an unlucky person in your life, I think I
- 18:59Speaker 3: think you still have to act as though you are
- 19:02Speaker 3: in control of your destiny more than you are, more
- 19:05Speaker 3: than you might believe yourself to be. And that that
- 19:07Speaker 3: usually winds up paying dividends, because, as I said, I
- 19:10Speaker 3: do know a lot of people. I mean, they were
- 19:12Speaker 3: joking about this for a while, like Gen Z was
- 19:15Speaker 3: bringing mom and dad to their job interview in order
- 19:18Speaker 3: to negotiate the salary after. Like, that's a real thing.
- 19:22Speaker 3: I don't know how often it occurred, but it was
- 19:23Speaker 3: a real thing. And it shows you how little conflict
- 19:28Speaker 3: is even acceptable to some people. And conflict can be good,
- 19:31Speaker 3: especially early on. If you say, hey, if you want
- 19:34Speaker 3: me to have a master's degree, I can't take $ 40, 000
- 19:36Speaker 3: a year.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Actually, I'll tell you this, Wayne. I overheard a woman yesterday.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I can't remember where we were.
- 19:43Speaker 3: We must have been at some kind of restaurant talking
- 19:45Speaker 3: to her friend about her daughter. And her daughter just
- 19:48Speaker 3: finished her master's degree. Did this there's so many great
- 19:51Speaker 3: things and then the guy goes and where's she working
- 19:53Speaker 3: oh she's at some grocery store it's like what what
- 19:57Speaker 3: do you mean that's what and she's like that's what
- 19:59Speaker 3: she could find right now so she'll figure it out as.
- 20:01Speaker 2: She's hard to find a job i i know.
- 20:03Speaker 3: But at the same time I think if you accept
- 20:06Speaker 3: something so little, then maybe you have the wrong master's.
- 20:10Speaker 3: If her master's is in education and she didn't find
- 20:12Speaker 3: the right avenue for it, maybe she studied the wrong thing.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe she studied African-American studies. Right. Right. Which is great,
- 20:22Speaker 2: which is great education.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Even if it's hard to get a job, I can't
- 20:24Speaker 3: imagine that with a valuable education to that degree, the
- 20:28Speaker 3: best you can do is working at a grocery store.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Can I share something that I overheard this weekend since
- 20:32Speaker 2: both of us are apparently spying on people's conversations?
- 20:35Speaker 1: Yeah, why not?
- 20:36Speaker 2: I was in Austin. I went into a convenience store.
- 20:40Speaker 2: And there was a Pakistani couple there. And I'm not
- 20:44Speaker 2: saying that because I knew they were Pakistani, but the
- 20:46Speaker 2: woman had one of those things over her head, and
- 20:50Speaker 2: her husband, and she was buying sunglasses. And they got
- 20:54Speaker 2: into a conversation with the guy behind the counter, who
- 20:57Speaker 2: I learned, even though I didn't care, was from Nepal.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So they're from Pakistan, he's from Nepal. And it was like,
- 21:04Speaker 2: as I was waiting just to get my pack of cigarettes,
- 21:06Speaker 2: I swallowed my cigarettes so I could get on the road.
- 21:08Speaker 2: They're discussing... about how great the economy is in Ethiopia
- 21:14Speaker 2: and Nepal was doing great too. And I don't know
- 21:17Speaker 2: why it tweaked me, but I got tweaked. I didn't
- 21:21Speaker 2: like rip the thing off the woman's head. I didn't
- 21:23Speaker 2: do anything, you know, that would be in the papers,
- 21:27Speaker 2: nothing in the papers. But I was tweaked by it.
- 21:30Speaker 2: And I mean, I'm glad he's from Nepal and I'm
- 21:33Speaker 2: glad they're from Pakistan, but I never, there was no like, Hey,
- 21:37Speaker 2: it's really great being here. Right. Right. When did you come?
- 21:41Speaker 4: Right.
- 21:42Speaker 3: They're immediately complaining about the place they're choosing to live
- 21:45Speaker 3: and they're happier about the place they're not in anymore.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't that they were complaining. I mean, they
- 21:50Speaker 2: didn't say, I hate America. I don't want to overdo it.
- 21:53Speaker 2: I'm just saying that their whole conversation was about how
- 21:57Speaker 2: great things are in the countries where they left. So
- 22:03Speaker 2: why did you leave if it was so great?
- 22:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I don't know. Just tweet me. I just wonder.
- 22:08Speaker 1: No, I agree with you. And I hear that a lot, too.
- 22:10Speaker 3: And they talk about that a lot, too, about people
- 22:12Speaker 3: who are mad that like American influence has ruined other countries.
- 22:16Speaker 1: You hear that a lot.
- 22:17Speaker 3: You hear people say that, you know, we have so
- 22:19Speaker 3: many immigrants fleeing here because the capitalist society we live
- 22:23Speaker 3: in has ruined.
- 22:24Speaker 1: These other countries and other places.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Yeah, we're bad people. Right.
- 22:27Speaker 3: But then why run to us is always my question.
- 22:30Speaker 3: If we're the ones who ruined it, why would you
- 22:32Speaker 3: move here?
- 22:34Speaker 1: That makes no sense.
- 22:34Speaker 4: All right.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Quick break. A lot more. This is KSEV Mornings on
- 22:38Speaker 1: The Voice of Texas. He is Wayne Dolcefino. I am
- 22:40Speaker 1: Craig Colonese.
- 22:41Speaker 3: We call ourselves the Mob Guys, and we'll be right back.
- 22:44Speaker 2: All right. Am I on? Can you hear me, Craig?
- 22:49Speaker 2: KSEV AM 700. The Mob Guys. I'm in my office
- 22:54Speaker 2: over on Richmond Avenue. Dolcefino Media. Corporate headquarters. Don Corleone
- 22:59Speaker 2: behind me. And then we've got Craig in that really ugly...
- 23:03Speaker 2: colored rug studio with a cardboard $ 10 sign that says
- 23:08Speaker 2: he works for AM 700.
- 23:11Speaker 1: We could fix that.
- 23:11Speaker 2: But we are the voice of Texas where conservatives find
- 23:15Speaker 2: their voice. And look, we'll talk to a liberal because we,
- 23:20Speaker 2: we want to help them. Sure. I think part of,
- 23:23Speaker 2: you know, we're, we both have degrees in medicine, right?
- 23:26Speaker 2: And psychology.
- 23:28Speaker 1: It feels like it sometimes.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So, so I, I think, I'd like to, in fact,
- 23:32Speaker 2: invite Democrats to join us and tell us why we
- 23:35Speaker 2: need more PPs in women's bathrooms. I think that would
- 23:39Speaker 2: be a great topic.
- 23:40Speaker 1: 281-558-5738 is the phone number to call in.
- 23:42Speaker 2: 281-558-5738. We got a giveaway. We do.
- 23:48Speaker 1: We can go ahead and give.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Away a set of tickets, two tickets to Wings Over
- 23:51Speaker 3: Houston to our fifth caller right now at that very
- 23:54Speaker 3: same phone number, 281-558-5738. That's two general admission tickets to
- 24:00Speaker 3: enjoy what is a really great event.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I don't know if you've been recently, but Wings Over Houston.
- 24:05Speaker 1: I've never been.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Never been. Never been.
- 24:06Speaker 1: All right, we got to go. Wings Over Houston is awesome.
- 24:09Speaker 3: The Blue Angels will be back last year because of
- 24:12Speaker 3: some things.
- 24:13Speaker 1: They skipped it.
- 24:14Speaker 3: But this year they'll actually be there and they're, they're
- 24:16Speaker 3: a huge draw. And then actually the tour, tour, tour
- 24:19Speaker 3: thing is also pretty amazing. The Pearl Harbor thing that
- 24:22Speaker 3: happened as well.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:25Speaker 2: With real Japanese guys in the plane.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I've never checked. I have no idea. I have no idea.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I think we should check.
- 24:33Speaker 3: But if you get real close to that, the flames
- 24:35Speaker 3: that are created from the fake bombing stuff, it's significant.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Like you feel your face.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Your face gets kind of hot.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I have never been.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Is it always Halloween weekend?
- 24:46Speaker 1: No, I think it's always a weekend toward the end
- 24:49Speaker 1: of October, sure. But yeah, I don't know. It's fun.
- 24:53Speaker 1: It's a fun time. My wife and I had a
- 24:54Speaker 1: blast last year.
- 24:56Speaker 2: All right. Well, you guys get along. That's good. So
- 25:02Speaker 2: have we had five calls yet?
- 25:04Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 25:04Speaker 4: 281-558-5738.
- 25:05Speaker 3: The fifth caller right now will win a free pair
- 25:09Speaker 3: of tickets to Wings Over Houston.
- 25:10Speaker 2: 281-558-5738. I think we should have made it the 97th
- 25:16Speaker 2: caller because, first of all, that was kind of my intent,
- 25:22Speaker 2: was that Russell would have to answer the phone at
- 25:24Speaker 2: least 96 times. And what does he say? KSEV, you're
- 25:28Speaker 2: number one? And you hang up? Does he talk to
- 25:31Speaker 2: the person?
- 25:31Speaker 3: When I used to do it, I would just say
- 25:33Speaker 3: the call letters and be like, I'm sorry, you're not
- 25:34Speaker 3: the winner, and hang up.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Because you'd have to go on to the next call.
- 25:37Speaker 2: That's pretty rude.
- 25:38Speaker 1: You've got to do it, man.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Sorry, you're not the winner. Click.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Well, if you're getting a bunch of calls, because like,
- 25:45Speaker 3: you know, at WGN Radio in Chicago, we do this,
- 25:47Speaker 3: and it would be like the 15th caller, 20th caller,
- 25:50Speaker 3: and you've got to get through it as quick as possible.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Yeah, people hang up on me a lot.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Now, we've got full phone lines now, so I'm sure
- 25:56Speaker 1: we'll get there.
- 25:57Speaker 2: People hang up on me an awful lot. Are we
- 25:59Speaker 2: going to announce the name of the winner?
- 26:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we can.
- 26:01Speaker 3: If Russell wants to pass it on whenever he gets
- 26:03Speaker 3: whoever won, we'll go ahead and do that part.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Can we show their picture? We get pictures.
- 26:07Speaker 1: We cannot. Unless they send it to us.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I'm trying to class this operation up.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Well, starting tomorrow, we're going to be able to see
- 26:15Speaker 3: the video of all the clips we play again.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Wow. We'll have to get up for that. Wow. Wow.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Did you just crap on our own show?
- 26:26Speaker 2: What a moment in broadcast history.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Come on. We're worthy of the wake-up.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Or you can watch us on any of the social media.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Can I add one more thing about France that I
- 26:38Speaker 2: meant to say, but I sort of went off into,
- 26:41Speaker 2: you know, I'm like a butterfly. I start talking about
- 26:43Speaker 2: one thing and I switch. So one of the problems
- 26:46Speaker 2: in France is the high energy prices, as is a
- 26:50Speaker 2: problem everywhere because of of the Iranians. Right. And, and
- 26:56Speaker 2: these people that want us to leave think that somehow
- 27:01Speaker 2: that's not going to embolden Iran to start charging money,
- 27:05Speaker 2: which is going to keep prices high, but Hey, that's
- 27:07Speaker 2: a lot. I don't want to confuse this, but, but
- 27:10Speaker 2: I guess where I was thinking, like has France sent
- 27:14Speaker 2: a single boat to help us patrol Iran? the Hormuz Strait?
- 27:20Speaker 4: No.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I don't think as Europe sent a single boat. Now,
- 27:25Speaker 2: I get it. Their feelings were hurt that we didn't
- 27:28Speaker 2: tell them in advance or ask their permission to defend
- 27:32Speaker 2: our country. But last time I remember, I don't know
- 27:37Speaker 2: how much money we spent, how much money you and
- 27:39Speaker 2: I and all the listeners spend on protecting Spain and
- 27:42Speaker 2: France and Germany and all these places, right? Hundreds of
- 27:46Speaker 2: billions of dollars we spent. And you don't have to
- 27:52Speaker 2: agree with what we did, but the reality is we
- 27:56Speaker 2: are where we are. And I don't understand why these
- 28:01Speaker 2: countries are not sending ships to tell Iran, look, I
- 28:06Speaker 2: don't care if your feelings got hurt. I don't care
- 28:09Speaker 2: that we blew up the Ayatollah nicely done. I don't
- 28:12Speaker 2: care about that. We care about energy prices. This is
- 28:15Speaker 2: an international waterway or just Pay them at Oman. Have
- 28:21Speaker 2: some fee for their administration of the thing. I don't
- 28:25Speaker 2: give a crap, really. But I don't understand why countries
- 28:29Speaker 2: like France aren't at least sending some symbolic help.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 3: You know, it's really funny about that. If you look
- 28:37Speaker 3: it up, they have definitely planned it. They're not doing anything,
- 28:40Speaker 3: but I guess some of the countries in Europe, including
- 28:43Speaker 3: the UK and France, got together to plan how they
- 28:45Speaker 3: would escort ships with their military, you know, with their
- 28:49Speaker 3: military vessels.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Through the Strait of Hormuz.
- 28:51Speaker 1: But they haven't done it. They haven't done it.
- 28:53Speaker 3: They met to talk about it, and then they broke
- 28:56Speaker 3: for lunch, and they haven't gotten back together yet.
- 28:58Speaker 2: With friends like this, man, who needs enemies?
- 29:01Speaker 3: And, you know, you said protect our country, but it's
- 29:03Speaker 3: really protect the world. Iran is the biggest sponsor of
- 29:07Speaker 3: terrorism around the world, and they don't just dislike us.
- 29:11Speaker 1: They dislike a whole lot of people.
- 29:13Speaker 3: And so it's kind of amazing that you wouldn't, for
- 29:15Speaker 3: your own benefit, say protect the Strait of Hormuz.
- 29:17Speaker 1: And Trump has pointed out a lot.
- 29:19Speaker 3: How much less gas we get from there than other
- 29:22Speaker 3: places get from there. If you depend on gas from
- 29:25Speaker 3: the Strait of Hormuz, you should be making sure that
- 29:27Speaker 3: it's open.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I do worry about the diesel stuff, though, especially
- 29:31Speaker 2: in the Midwest. I do worry about I'm not a
- 29:33Speaker 2: farmer as you, as you know, well documented.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I can figure that out.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah. But I want to answer, but I do worry
- 29:40Speaker 2: about diesel prices. I'm hoping, and that's why sometimes in politics,
- 29:49Speaker 2: I think you have to concede that things aren't, I mean,
- 29:53Speaker 2: when Trump comes out and says it's the greatest economy
- 29:56Speaker 2: in the world and everything is great, right? It's one
- 30:00Speaker 2: thing to say everything will be great because we've got
- 30:04Speaker 2: some short-term pain to get to the other side, to
- 30:08Speaker 2: bring back jobs. And that's why I did tariffs, to
- 30:11Speaker 2: bring back jobs. And we've got all this investment. Every
- 30:14Speaker 2: time I hear him talking about investment, it's a different number.
- 30:17Speaker 2: I think it's up to $ 23 trillion now. Maybe that's real.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Maybe that's just blowhard stuff. But I do think sometimes
- 30:26Speaker 2: people need a little empathy. I hear you, but let
- 30:33Speaker 2: me tell you why I know this is going to
- 30:36Speaker 2: come down. After the election, one way or the other,
- 30:40Speaker 2: Iran watches TV. They watch American media. They know how
- 30:46Speaker 2: to play. And that's why I've been so critical of
- 30:50Speaker 2: the criticisms of the war, because once we start bombing
- 30:56Speaker 2: and sending our troops in harm's way, I don't like
- 30:59Speaker 2: doing anything that makes our troops more vulnerable.
- 31:06Speaker 4: Me neither.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Right? And that's always been my, where I come down
- 31:10Speaker 2: on military stuff.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 2: That once we go, you support the commander in chief.
- 31:16Speaker 2: You don't leak, you know, that we've used up some
- 31:20Speaker 2: of our missiles. Well, no kidding. When you drop a
- 31:23Speaker 2: thousand bombs, you've used up some of your inventory. I mean,
- 31:26Speaker 2: that's sort of a dull moment. Yeah.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Right?
- 31:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Well, you know, it's really interesting.
- 31:30Speaker 2: J.D.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Vance was asked a question recently by a Gold Star husband.
- 31:36Speaker 1: His wife was killed by a drone in the fight
- 31:38Speaker 1: in Iran. And he asked J.D.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Vance why some things there are not being fought the
- 31:44Speaker 3: way that they should be fought and essentially referenced that
- 31:47Speaker 3: his wife was telling him that there were mistakes being
- 31:50Speaker 3: made that allowed for Iran to use a drone to
- 31:53Speaker 3: kill somebody.
- 31:54Speaker 1: And I thought J.D. Vance gave a really good answer
- 31:56Speaker 1: to that question.
- 31:57Speaker 3: When he said, if there's something that we're doing that's wrong,
- 32:00Speaker 3: I want you to tell me. I want you to
- 32:01Speaker 3: tell me offline, not here. Like, I haven't heard the
- 32:04Speaker 3: missteps that maybe you're referring to right now. But more
- 32:07Speaker 3: important than that, as someone who served in our military, too,
- 32:10Speaker 3: he does want to make sure we protect our military
- 32:13Speaker 3: and drones are cheap and deadly. And so it's a
- 32:16Speaker 3: uniquely challenging world that we live in right now from
- 32:18Speaker 3: a military standpoint. But As you just said, and as
- 32:21Speaker 3: I think I heard them talk about in that back
- 32:24Speaker 3: and forth question, protecting our men and women of the
- 32:27Speaker 3: military is of the utmost importance to us. And any
- 32:30Speaker 3: way we go about doing that, whether it's fighting drones
- 32:33Speaker 3: with other drones, is obviously something we have to be
- 32:37Speaker 3: fully prepared to commit to.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Yeah, because all the criticisms, and look, I'm fine with,
- 32:41Speaker 2: you know, people got First Amendment rights, whatever the hell
- 32:43Speaker 2: they want, I don't care. But All the criticisms have
- 32:47Speaker 2: emboldened Iran to believe that there's going to be a
- 32:50Speaker 2: political revolution. And as a result of that, we're going
- 32:54Speaker 2: to do what the Democrats suggest, which is just to leave. Right.
- 32:59Speaker 2: That's what the Democrats want us to do. They just
- 33:01Speaker 2: want us to leave. And OK, let's say we leave.
- 33:05Speaker 2: What happens? Does Iran say, well, we finally got what
- 33:10Speaker 2: we want. We don't need any more missiles. Right. I
- 33:13Speaker 2: don't think so, kids. I don't think so. And they're
- 33:17Speaker 2: just going to start charging people and everyone's going to
- 33:20Speaker 2: be paying a bribe to Iran and Oman for the
- 33:25Speaker 2: use of the Strait of Hormuz and gas prices will
- 33:28Speaker 2: not come down. That's the problem with a lot of
- 33:31Speaker 2: the Democrat stuff for me. It's like you say, we
- 33:33Speaker 2: should end the war. Well, no kidding, Sherlock. I mean,
- 33:37Speaker 2: we should. I would love to end the war, right?
- 33:39Speaker 2: I would have ended it. Four months ago, because the
- 33:42Speaker 2: place would be rubble. Right. It would look like Gaza does. Right.
- 33:45Speaker 2: And we could be accused of genocide. Right. Whatever. But but,
- 33:50Speaker 2: you know, war is war.
- 33:51Speaker 4: Right.
- 33:51Speaker 2: You win a war. You don't play a.
- 33:54Speaker 1: War for a job.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Here's the other thing that you're saying a second ago
- 33:56Speaker 3: is like you do have to sound as though you're compassionate.
- 33:59Speaker 3: You do have to say, like, we're seeing the pain
- 34:01Speaker 3: that you're seeing and we're not pretending it doesn't exist.
- 34:04Speaker 3: But you don't have to actually offer solutions because Democrats
- 34:06Speaker 3: aren't offering them. And they're gaining support by saying out
- 34:10Speaker 3: loud that, you know, we see the problems that are
- 34:12Speaker 3: being caused by the other side right now. And when
- 34:15Speaker 3: they do give us solutions, the solutions are horrible. And
- 34:18Speaker 3: so it's amazing to hear somebody say everything will be free.
- 34:21Speaker 3: The government will pay for everything and we'll get all
- 34:23Speaker 3: the money from the rich people because that won't work
- 34:25Speaker 3: and it'll be terrible. And then also that we feel
- 34:28Speaker 3: your pain and that's enough.
- 34:29Speaker 2: That's right. And look, the inability of Democrats to. to
- 34:33Speaker 2: tell you how they're going to make things more affordable
- 34:36Speaker 2: because the reality is they won't. The Obama subsidies, Obamacare,
- 34:43Speaker 2: even if you believe it was well-intentioned, is a mess, right?
- 34:47Speaker 2: A lot of the companies are horrific and you have
- 34:50Speaker 2: really high deductibles. It doesn't work. I like Trump's idea,
- 34:57Speaker 2: not just Trump, but about letting people buy healthcare where
- 35:01Speaker 2: they want across state lines. Yeah. Well, we can't even
- 35:04Speaker 2: do that. We can't make it, we can't open up
- 35:06Speaker 2: the marketplace so that insurance companies can cater their product
- 35:11Speaker 2: to a certain community. And maybe the answer is yes.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Maybe the answer is no. I do believe that it
- 35:19Speaker 2: is something that we need to do. And Democrats are
- 35:23Speaker 2: not telling us how they're going to make the price
- 35:28Speaker 2: of Gummy bear is more affordable.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Outside of get all the money from the rich and
- 35:34Speaker 3: then give it to everybody else.
- 35:35Speaker 1: That's the only thing they usually say.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Tax the rich. Right.
- 35:38Speaker 1: And then trust us with it because we'll get the
- 35:40Speaker 1: money in between. Quick break. A lot more. I know
- 35:43Speaker 1: we've got a winner to our contest. We'll announce it
- 35:45Speaker 1: after this. I can't wait. KCB Radio, the voice of Texas.
- 35:51Speaker 4: Wake up. Go to work.
- 35:54Speaker 2: AM 700 KSED, the mob guys, Craig Coladay, Ray Del Capino,
- 35:59Speaker 2: here on a Monday morning when voting has started. I'm
- 36:03Speaker 2: looking at my text messages, and I have employees calling
- 36:06Speaker 2: in sick. I have Teresa opening my door.
- 36:08Speaker 1: There you go.
- 36:10Speaker 2: And trying to bother me. Don't you know I'm on the.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Radio with Craig Coladay? How dare you?
- 36:14Speaker 3: By the way, Jack Koch, I think, was the name
- 36:16Speaker 3: of the guy that won the tickets. Jack, congratulations to
- 36:20Speaker 3: get two tickets. To go to Wings Over Houston.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Jack's going to call me. He's going to want me
- 36:24Speaker 2: to hang out with him.
- 36:25Speaker 1: He is. Are you going to go? Do you want
- 36:27Speaker 1: to go to Wings Over Houston this year?
- 36:28Speaker 2: I would love to go, but it's Halloween weekend, and
- 36:31Speaker 2: I'm with my grandkids. You're busy. Well, because Halloween's a
- 36:35Speaker 2: big deal in my house. It is. It's my favorite holiday.
- 36:38Speaker 2: I like Christmas, right? It's Halloween. It's your favorite. But
- 36:41Speaker 2: I really like October. October is the month I got married.
- 36:45Speaker 2: October is the month my son was born. October is Halloween.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Renaissance Festival comes to town. I love this time of year.
- 36:54Speaker 2: The weather was phenomenal this weekend. It was really chilly
- 36:59Speaker 2: this morning.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I couldn't agree with you more because Halloween is my birthday.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Is it really? Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 1: I was born on Halloween.
- 37:05Speaker 3: My mom went to sleep the night before Halloween, and
- 37:07Speaker 3: I guess she prayed to God.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Do we care about this story? I don't know. Tell me.
- 37:12Speaker 3: She prayed to God not to have me the next day,
- 37:14Speaker 3: and then her water broke when she woke up.
- 37:16Speaker 1: That was the whole story.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Because she didn't want to have you on Halloween?
- 37:19Speaker 1: She just thought Halloween would be too hectic, too chaotic,
- 37:21Speaker 1: and then boom. I came out right away.
- 37:23Speaker 2: You've got to throw in a baby coming down the tube.
- 37:26Speaker 2: That gets very complicated.
- 37:27Speaker 1: That's great. Did you care about the story? I'll check
- 37:29Speaker 1: with you now.
- 37:30Speaker 2: No, no, I think it's an interesting story.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Okay, good.
- 37:34Speaker 2: What does your mom wear for Halloween?
- 37:37Speaker 1: I don't think she dressed up that year.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Although the nurse that took her blood was dressed like Dracula.
- 37:43Speaker 2: That's always reassuring.
- 37:47Speaker 1: That happened, yeah.
- 37:48Speaker 3: And my two sisters were mad because my grandmother took
- 37:50Speaker 3: them trick-or-treating with coats.
- 37:51Speaker 1: On because she thought it was going to be cold.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Oh, that's a story that will affect someone's mental health forever. Yeah,
- 38:00Speaker 2: they hated me. Everybody needs to check their mental health traumas.
- 38:07Speaker 2: I think we have become a society of like, you know,
- 38:15Speaker 2: my wife always accuses me of, I forget the word
- 38:18Speaker 2: they use. My wife and my kids have analyzed me
- 38:23Speaker 2: that I say a lot of things just to for
- 38:28Speaker 2: some psychological reason, right? They think I'm mentally ill, which
- 38:32Speaker 2: is probably true, right? It hasn't really come up in
- 38:36Speaker 2: any of my lawsuits, but I'll be the first to
- 38:38Speaker 2: admit that I'm, I'm a little weird, but I don't,
- 38:45Speaker 2: I don't dwell on it every day. Like I see
- 38:46Speaker 2: so many people on the news dwelling about it and
- 38:49Speaker 2: I don't, I don't understand what's happening. I really, I
- 38:52Speaker 2: got to tell you, and I think a lot of
- 38:54Speaker 2: people listening to us right now are going to share this.
- 38:57Speaker 2: I think we are so screwed in this country. Sure. Okay.
- 39:03Speaker 2: We've gotten soft.
- 39:04Speaker 1: We have.
- 39:05Speaker 2: We don't want to work a second job.
- 39:07Speaker 3: I was going to say in response to the health thing,
- 39:10Speaker 3: I think sometimes people think anything that's hard means you
- 39:13Speaker 3: have a health-like problem, a mental health problem. And the
- 39:16Speaker 3: reality is that life is just hard, that some things
- 39:19Speaker 3: you have to get over without going and getting medicine
- 39:22Speaker 3: for it.
- 39:22Speaker 1: We do have a call. Mike is on the line.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Mike wants to talk about diesel prices.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Mike, what do you want to say? Well, I'd like
- 39:30Speaker 4: to see you guys. You have a great show. I
- 39:32Speaker 4: really enjoy it. Thank you. I have been talking about
- 39:37Speaker 4: this one thing, but the polls in Kansas and Iowa,
- 39:42Speaker 4: the Republicans are heading Kansas by one point. The Republican
- 39:46Speaker 4: in Iowa is down a couple of points. They're basically
- 39:49Speaker 4: neck and neck. The problem with Kansas is diesel prices
- 39:55Speaker 4: are astronomically high in the Rust Belt where the farmers are.
- 39:59Speaker 4: And it affects farmers. It affects truck drivers. And when
- 40:05Speaker 4: you affect those two things like that big time, it
- 40:09Speaker 4: affects food prices. And people out there are not happy.
- 40:13Speaker 4: And these are Republican voters now. These are not. If
- 40:17Speaker 4: we lose those two seats, We're going to lose the Senate.
- 40:22Speaker 4: Even if we carry Texas, which I think we will,
- 40:24Speaker 4: it looks like things are tightening and Paxton's going to
- 40:27Speaker 4: pull it out. They are. But if we lose those,
- 40:30Speaker 4: that'll be three seats we lose. You know, we might
- 40:33Speaker 4: even lose, if the wave goes, we might even lose
- 40:36Speaker 4: Collins up in the Northeast in Maine.
- 40:39Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 40:39Speaker 4: That's still pretty close. But regardless, if we lose the Senate,
- 40:44Speaker 4: we can't get any judges through. We can't get any
- 40:47Speaker 4: appointments through. That's right.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Basically, the....
- 40:50Speaker 4: Conservative agenda is dead. Now, I all agree with Trump
- 40:55Speaker 4: about taking out Iran's nuclear capability. 150% for that. Okay?
- 41:01Speaker 4: But I do not feel the same way about the
- 41:04Speaker 4: Strait of Hormuz. If you were to combine the Western
- 41:08Speaker 4: Hemisphere oil reserves, we have almost as much as the
- 41:12Speaker 4: Middle East. And I'm talking about North and South America.
- 41:15Speaker 4: And there's ways to work that. But I do not
- 41:18Speaker 4: support putting combat troops into Iran, that would be a
- 41:22Speaker 4: huge mistake. I think that's the wrong way to go.
- 41:24Speaker 4: I don't think they're going to do that. But something's
- 41:27Speaker 4: got to give. If we lose, there's a.
- 41:31Speaker 3: I would say one thing in response to it, Mike,
- 41:33Speaker 3: because I don't know what it means when you say
- 41:36Speaker 3: boots on the ground or a version of it, which is,
- 41:38Speaker 3: I think, kind of what you said there, because I
- 41:40Speaker 3: do want to take Karg Island, for example, and I
- 41:42Speaker 3: think you've got to take that by force, and I
- 41:43Speaker 3: think that might involve people. So there are scenarios where
- 41:49Speaker 3: in order to reopen the strait completely, the U.S. has
- 41:54Speaker 3: boots on the ground in land that is traditionally thought
- 41:57Speaker 3: to be Iran.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Does that mean that we're in the heart of Iran?
- 42:00Speaker 2: No.
- 42:01Speaker 1: But does that mean we're on the outskirts of it? Yeah.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Well, that may be true. That may be the only
- 42:06Speaker 4: exception to what I'm talking about. Taking Karzai may be
- 42:11Speaker 4: a military option that limits your exposure to some degree. So, yeah,
- 42:17Speaker 4: but going into mainland Iran would be a huge.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Oh, sure.
- 42:21Speaker 2: And I don't think Trump wants to do that.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I don't think he needs to.
- 42:26Speaker 4: Yeah, but I just don't see the president focused on
- 42:29Speaker 4: this right now. He's more focused on himself and how
- 42:33Speaker 4: smart he is and threatening people with jail because of the,
- 42:39Speaker 4: you know, because they disagree with DHS. That doesn't win elections.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Now's the time to win elections. And that's all I
- 42:46Speaker 4: got to say.
- 42:47Speaker 2: And look, I share the frustration because now's the time
- 42:52Speaker 2: to win elections, right? And I do think Republicans and
- 42:59Speaker 2: I think conservatives too, I think conservatives are splitting. I
- 43:03Speaker 2: think the MAGA coalition is splitting because there are people
- 43:07Speaker 2: that are against Israel, there are people that are for Israel,
- 43:10Speaker 2: there are people that are for the war, there are
- 43:13Speaker 2: people that are against the war, but One of the
- 43:17Speaker 2: big questions is going to be, and he was talking
- 43:19Speaker 2: about Kansas, and Kansas goes left sometimes. I mean, Kansas
- 43:24Speaker 2: is not just a Republican. They have like a liberal governor, right?
- 43:28Speaker 2: So it's not like no Democrats win there. I do
- 43:35Speaker 2: think they are thinking about the daily problem. And if
- 43:41Speaker 2: Republicans don't acknowledge that, that there's pain and here's our
- 43:45Speaker 2: plan to get out of it, I think it hurts them.
- 43:48Speaker 2: And it's sad because those guys, the commies and the
- 43:52Speaker 2: left-wing folks, if people think bringing back the people who
- 43:56Speaker 2: caused the fire, right, bringing back the arsonists is a
- 43:59Speaker 2: good idea, well, that's what we're getting ready to do.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:02Speaker 2: God bless you. Craig Colanese.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Wayne Dolcefino on The Voice of Texas.
- 44:07Speaker 1: See you guys tomorrow. Hey, we'll talk to you tomorrow.
