A baby found safe in Madison’s fourth-ever Safe Haven Baby Box this week marks a hopeful milestone for a vulnerable infant—and for the growing network of surrender options across Alabama and beyond. Since 2024, seven babies have been surrendered via Baby Boxes in Alabama, supported by 22 strategically placed locations.
