- 0:00Mom. Hey, I'm your host, Emily Bolt.
- 0:10I'm an actor, teacher, and a new mom.
- 0:13Once I became pregnant, I went on a hunt for answers to all my
- 0:17questions about being a working actor.
- 0:19Mom. And what did I find?
- 0:22Practically nothing. So here I am asking all the
- 0:25questions to try to figure out how people do it.
- 0:28How are mothers balancing and not balancing parenthood in this
- 0:33crazy industry? Join me and my amazing guest as
- 0:37we take a real look into the lives of working moms in the
- 0:41entertainment industry. On this episode of Mommywood,
- 0:44I'm chatting with Andrea Bogart, who, if you can believe it, is
- 0:48just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
- 0:52Which is saying a lot, because she is freaking stunning.
- 0:57She is such a lovely, lovely, sweet, sweet woman and it was
- 1:02such a pleasure getting to chat with her.
- 1:04Her beauty on the inside is definitely also a testament to
- 1:08not only being from the Midwest, not to the Midwest ladies out
- 1:12there, but also the amount of focus that she puts on
- 1:17mindfulness and self improvement.
- 1:21And it was so cool to hear all about how much yoga and
- 1:25mindfulness has really impacted all areas of her life.
- 1:31We also talk about her having kids later in her life.
- 1:34She didn't have her first kid until after she was 40.
- 1:37We also talk about how she moved to Sonoma with her husband and
- 1:43how now with being in Sonoma and having two children, she's had
- 1:51some of the greatest success in her career and had and is doing
- 1:56the best self tapes that she's done.
- 1:59So it's really cool to hear that, you know, once you just
- 2:05start living your life, then career can really put itself in
- 2:12place. It's really refreshing to hear
- 2:16that and makes me very hopeful for the future.
- 2:22But yes, it was so, so wonderful talking with Andrea.
- 2:26She is like I said, just lovely. The beauty on the outside, it
- 2:31was very interesting talking to her about this because you know,
- 2:34she has to dance her body that she was given, that she has,
- 2:39that she works for. But it was definitely
- 2:43interesting hearing the other side of that because of course
- 2:46so many of us are strive to have this beautiful body.
- 2:49But it was so eye opening to hear the other side of that
- 2:55where it's just as hurtful to hear someone say you're too thin
- 3:00as opposed to too fat. It's very similar.
- 3:04And also having casting directors tell you you're too
- 3:08pretty to be that funny, which is just insane.
- 3:13But you know, man, the grass is always greener.
- 3:17So it was definitely eye opening to hear the other side of that.
- 3:23So please, please enjoy this episode of Mommywood with Andrea
- 3:29Voghart. Thank you so much.
- 3:31I know it is. Our time is precious as as moms,
- 3:36so I appreciate you taking your time.
- 3:40Of course. So you have two beautiful
- 3:44daughters. How old are they and what are
- 3:49their names? So my first little girl is Emery
- 3:52and she is about to turn 6. She'll be 6 in July, and then my
- 3:56second is Audrey, and she's turning to the end of this
- 3:59month. Oh wow.
- 4:01Oh my God. And thank you, Yeah, their joy
- 4:04girls. Do you have girls as well?
- 4:07Please tell me I have one girl. She'll be a year next month.
- 4:11OK, yeah, she'll she's 11 months tomorrow, tomorrow.
- 4:16So yeah, you're really in it still, too.
- 4:18You're like, you're in it. Yeah, but I have two older
- 4:21sisters too. So the the sisterhood and the
- 4:27just feminine energy. Well, I just love it.
- 4:32But we'll see if we have #2, if it's a girl or a boy, if we even
- 4:37have that. But she was amazing.
- 4:40I will tell you. I'll chime in.
- 4:42She was amazing. Yeah.
- 4:43A lot of fun. You get like a built in friend,
- 4:46right? Totally.
- 4:48And and you know, I grew up with just one older brother and he
- 4:50had four daughters. So I know, you know for the
- 4:53longest time I was just this aunt right to these four amazing
- 4:57nieces who I just couldn't get enough of.
- 4:58And I always kind of joke with my brother.
- 5:00I'm like, that's what you get for you know being so honorary
- 5:02to me. You had four girls, 4 girls
- 5:05yourself. But yeah, there's there's
- 5:07nothing speeder. I never really saw the sister
- 5:10love and interaction until I had, you know, my nieces coming
- 5:13about and really seeing that bond with them and.
- 5:16Yeah, when I ended up having 2 girls, I just thought, gosh,
- 5:18this is just gonna be so scrumptious, you know?
- 5:21Yeah, and they're such good ages.
- 5:24So they're four years apart about.
- 5:27Yeah. And that's such a good age, cuz
- 5:30the older one can hopefully kind of like help a little.
- 5:34But then when they're older especially, they'll still be
- 5:39close in age. Cuz I have my sisters are two
- 5:42and six years older and now it's like we're all the same age.
- 5:47That's so good to hear. Yeah.
- 5:49Because, you know, that wasn't really our plan per se.
- 5:53Just because Eric, my husband, Eric and I met later in life.
- 5:56And we're so fortunate to have neither of us had children
- 6:00previously. Neither of us have been married
- 6:02and. You know, so I feel really,
- 6:05really fortunate. Both of us do.
- 6:06I think that we got to come into this with all this newness,
- 6:10right? And and we just figured we
- 6:12should try to have them as quickly as possible because we
- 6:15were older and so Emery happened really fast, naturally and then.
- 6:21After Emory, I mean we struggled for like 2 1/2, three years.
- 6:25We just, I would get pregnant, but I would have miscarriages.
- 6:27So after that we we visited IVF and that's a whole another
- 6:32journey in itself. And that's why I kind of ended
- 6:36up doing the prenatal yoga flows because I felt like I had this,
- 6:41like I had two experiences, right?
- 6:43I had one where a very natural easy birth and then the second
- 6:46one that was a real challenge and.
- 6:48And you know, anyone who goes through IDF, they know that that
- 6:51process is, it's long and it's a struggle and it can be really,
- 6:55it can really be draining on the relationship and on you.
- 6:58And I think Eric and I continued, we pinch ourselves a
- 7:02lot because we feel, you know, it was during COVID.
- 7:06The embryo had to sit on ice for an extra long time because they
- 7:09shut down all the procedures. So there was a lot that went
- 7:12into little Audrey making it into this world.
- 7:15But we're so lucky. And I was also, you know, not to
- 7:19go totally on a different topic, but I was a little.
- 7:23I was a little like, no, if I'm supposed to have kids, it will
- 7:27just happen. And I didn't know that I should
- 7:29use the assistance of science to help, you know, navigate that.
- 7:34But I mean, I've never been more grateful for those, for those
- 7:37opportunities and that science is here to really support women
- 7:40in fertility. Because I think we we've all
- 7:43kind of known now there's more fertility issues now than we've
- 7:46ever been aware of. And I'm just so grateful.
- 7:49You know, I have a dear friend who at 47 gave birth to her baby
- 7:52boy. It's healthy and amazing and.
- 7:54Through the help of IBS. So I I'm really a believer in
- 7:57that process too and just I hope that I give women hope who are
- 8:00older. Because my first was born, you
- 8:02know I was 40 and my second two hours before I turned 45.
- 8:07So. So Audrey and I almost share a
- 8:10birthday too which is pretty fun.
- 8:13Yeah. So anyway, there's a little bit
- 8:14of like. How the babies came about,
- 8:17right. It's it's such a journey and
- 8:19everyone's everyone's journey is so unique and such a beautiful
- 8:22story. And you know yeah and it's nice
- 8:24that you've had like you said both sides of the coin where
- 8:29you're like. So I'm sure you can relate to a
- 8:33lot of different people's stories because you have both
- 8:37sides of that. Well, Speaking of having
- 8:40children later in life was because I feel like especially
- 8:47as actors there's all this like we've For me, I feel like it's
- 8:52like, will you push back? And you push back and you're
- 8:55like, well, I want my career to be this way or, you know,
- 9:01meeting the person and just everything lining up.
- 9:05And I feel like it's so hard to, you know, make those decisions
- 9:12where you're like, okay, I want to start a family, but what was
- 9:18it for you making that decision to start a family?
- 9:23You know, to take it back a bit, like I I was in a long
- 9:27relationship earlier in my mid 20s to very early 30s for a long
- 9:32time and in that relationship. You know, I just, I figured he
- 9:36was it like we've been together for so long, like he was the one
- 9:39we were going to have kids and get married and and all of it
- 9:41within our both thriving sort of acting careers.
- 9:45But then, you know, you realize it's not just your life, it's
- 9:48someone else's life too. It's someone else's choice.
- 9:51And I could really see an honor in my partner at that time that
- 9:55he just needed so much more personally as an actor before he
- 10:00could really even be comfortable talking about those things.
- 10:03And as that became more evident. You know I just became more I
- 10:06think accepting that like this is okay, like I can really love
- 10:11you and I think you can love me, but we can honor that.
- 10:14Like this is not we're not going to it's not going to end well if
- 10:17we keep on this path. You know.
- 10:19And I and I do get to an age or this pressured feeling of.
- 10:24You know, well, I'm so scared that like maybe I will have a
- 10:28hard time having kids, kids or or those kind of things, right?
- 10:31So career wise at that time. So when him and I ended, that
- 10:35was my like 32 ish. I had a lot of success around
- 10:40that age as well too. I was on General Hospital for
- 10:42almost a year and a half and so the things were booming and
- 10:47there wasn't a real I was teaching dance to children.
- 10:50That was really fulfilling for me.
- 10:52I had my 4 little nieces. There was some part of me that
- 10:55was sort of accepting that. Well, now I'm also starting
- 10:59over, right? As far as I'm a woman who's 32
- 11:02and I'm now going to be like who, you know, is you start to
- 11:06think about your age more as relationship than I think
- 11:09anything else at that point. Because I was never about, oh, I
- 11:12just want to have kids. I just want to have kids.
- 11:14I was like, I want to find a human who wants to have that
- 11:18with me. In a very joyful and loving and
- 11:21excited, enthusiastic way. And I did not want to bring kids
- 11:24into this world unless I had that and that foundation right.
- 11:28So I think career wise like you know, now to Fast forward.
- 11:33I I started I I got certified to teach yoga in 2011.
- 11:37That became a very healing practice for me that transformed
- 11:42my life. If I was to be very honest, my
- 11:46just from heartache to, you know, trouble with other
- 11:50situations, family at home, things like that, it really
- 11:53helped me. It really empowered me and got
- 11:57me feeling pretty comfortable with myself again, which was
- 12:00great and I really needed that. And so the career went in ebbs
- 12:05and flows. It was like I was on the soap
- 12:07opera. I couldn't believe that I'd like
- 12:09turned 2 episodes into 100 and something and it was just this
- 12:12biggest gift I'd ever been given as an actor.
- 12:15And then you know other things were coming in and when I when
- 12:18my time ended on the soap as I was killed off when all you know
- 12:22the soap started combining to what like 1-1 soap per network
- 12:26and things just got decluttered right?
- 12:30I thought the door was just going to be pounding and like
- 12:33people were going to be, you know, oh, we'll just put Andrea
- 12:35on this soap now or I had, you know, I'd gone in for days of
- 12:38Our Lives so much, all these different things.
- 12:39You're you're sort of, you know, I gained a lot of confidence and
- 12:42I really thought I would just scoot on to the next thing.
- 12:45Well, it got really quiet, you know, And in that same time zone
- 12:50is when. I was taking these amazing yoga
- 12:52classes through Matthew Ralston at Yoga Hop and then Andrea
- 12:55Markham with You Studio and I just fell in love with yoga and
- 13:00what it was doing for my life so that those two teachers really
- 13:03inspired me to get certified. And then I have another friend,
- 13:05Jake Frere and Joe Komar. Just I started collectively
- 13:08meeting amazing yogis. Who inspired me to get certified
- 13:11And because I've been teaching dance it felt like a very
- 13:14seamless transition. I was already very confident
- 13:16teaching a room you know and so then the acting career and the
- 13:21Wellness career start like Oh my gosh, this is.
- 13:24I really love this. I really love showing up for
- 13:27classes. I really love seeing these
- 13:28people like come together time after time and I'm feeling like
- 13:32their energy change and seeing their whatever it is getting
- 13:35stronger in their bodies and. And then my private yoga
- 13:39clientele really started to build.
- 13:41And so I was, you know, cranking out yoga practices really early
- 13:44in the morning and then keeping my afternoons as largely open as
- 13:48I could for auditions. And then evenings I would go
- 13:51back to a little bit of yoga. So it was very busy and as I I
- 13:56know really busy and truly a heart like struggle because I
- 14:01was thinking. OKI didn't.
- 14:03I knew that if I started to get jaded in this business of acting
- 14:07that, like I started getting really angry driving to
- 14:09auditions. I was just tired of the process
- 14:12a little bit, you know? And I mean, gosh, it's changed
- 14:15so much now. But it it's it's just, I did
- 14:20start to get grumpy. Let's call it grumpy.
- 14:22I was like, I'm not having fun. Yeah, I'm not having fun doing
- 14:26this. And yet yoga was so fulfilling.
- 14:29It was like. Sure.
- 14:30I drive to a client's house. That's a sure thing.
- 14:32Like, I'm getting paid. This person's going to benefit.
- 14:34I'm benefiting. This is awesome, you know?
- 14:37And so really, I think what happened in that process was
- 14:42booking jobs, juggling, juggling, yoga.
- 14:45Things did start to brew in a more positive, very wonderful
- 14:49way. And I also joined the new
- 14:51Hollywood by Co founder Brianna Brown, who's now Brianna Brown
- 14:56Keen. And so in 2014, there was a very
- 14:59good trifecta of things happening.
- 15:01Wellness, I was still auditioning and the Wellness was
- 15:04really helping me not be so grumpy about the acting jobs,
- 15:08you know, and and then joining this women's amazing, you know,
- 15:13philanthropy group that was all about support and rising higher,
- 15:17shining brighter and giving back.
- 15:18And those three elements like those changed me as well, you
- 15:22know, and I just started to see. That a there was more beyond
- 15:26just acting that could be really fulfilling and feel purposeful
- 15:30and passion. Like I had a ton of passion
- 15:32teaching and and I booked this little job at the end of 2014, a
- 15:37print job and that's where I met Mr. Eric Alness, my now husband
- 15:41and father of two kids. Super random print job.
- 15:45Eric's an amazing photographer, like, world renowned.
- 15:49And his producer that day had said, you know, you should
- 15:51probably follow him on social media, like you're going to want
- 15:54to see this picture. And I was like, yeah, yeah,
- 15:56yeah, whatever. I never get to see print jobs,
- 15:58you know, That's like if they show up somewhere, right?
- 16:00So. Cut to I did start following
- 16:03them on social media and he was following me and I sort of knew
- 16:06but didn't. And anyway, cut to it was six
- 16:09months later that I get an Instagram, you know, direct
- 16:13message. And I I booked a Nike commercial
- 16:15and I was going to be in San Francisco shooting it and I
- 16:18didn't even know. But that's where he lived.
- 16:20So he reached out and said, you're going to be in my city,
- 16:23can I take you out, you know, for something?
- 16:26And I was like. Yes, and this is only important
- 16:29to the careers question, but I'll get back to you is because
- 16:32this is where this big shift happened, right?
- 16:34I need a Scandinavian photographer who's traveling the
- 16:37world and doing amazing and. Wants to Take Me Out on a date
- 16:41and as soon as we went on our first date it was just it was
- 16:44magic. It was like we were so aligned.
- 16:46We were so open. We were both really wanted the
- 16:49same things in life. And then Eric was just in a
- 16:52position where I said I'm not leaving LA yet.
- 16:56I'm not like I if I if I'm out of my city I'm not earning an
- 17:00income. So I need to be in my city and I
- 17:02need to like continue do what I'm doing.
- 17:04I really love what I'm doing right now and and he was just
- 17:07amazing and he made it work. He would come down to LA on and
- 17:10off. For two years, you know and live
- 17:12with me and my little apartment in Beverly Hills and you know
- 17:15and then we would meet in different pockets of the world
- 17:17just to to try to lay this really good foundation for our
- 17:20relationship. And so you know the big question
- 17:23that you asked about like career and was there a decision making.
- 17:27I think it's it was truly kids mat like so many things aligned
- 17:32for me at once. It was like I was still booking
- 17:35jobs. And enough to be, you know,
- 17:38happy and making money. But I also was.
- 17:42I was not. I was definitely leaning a bit
- 17:45more into mindfulness and Wellness.
- 17:48I was feeling more fulfilled from that and I was feeling
- 17:51like. I'd been there for 17 years, you
- 17:54know, and I danced and I I, you know, if I had to write down on
- 17:58paper all my jobs, never in a million years would I ever say I
- 18:02I could have done any of that. I mean, I came from a dance
- 18:05background, you know, And so I never was one to like, I didn't
- 18:09want to be super famous. I didn't want to deal with
- 18:11paparazzi. So I was kind of like riding a
- 18:14nice wave of comfort, you know, of where I was.
- 18:18Not that I wouldn't have loved to be like honest at calm, being
- 18:21funny, really showing what I feel like where my heart really
- 18:25is. I would not have taken that
- 18:27away. Don't get me wrong.
- 18:28But what at my point is I wasn't so die hard that I couldn't see
- 18:32beyond it and other things that I wanted in life.
- 18:34And at that point, you know, now I'm teetering in on 3536.
- 18:39I'm really excited to meet Mr. Right.
- 18:41You know, I'm really excited to meet the partner that I could
- 18:43share my life with. And and it all just happened.
- 18:47Is so beautifully and organically and wonderfully with
- 18:50him that it was kind of, I won't say easy because it was a big
- 18:55transition. You know, I was pregnant.
- 18:57I was. And.
- 18:58And oddly enough, when I was four months pregnant, I got the
- 19:01first offer I'd had in a very long time to do one of these
- 19:05Lifetime movies, a Lifetime thriller.
- 19:08And I was so scared that I didn't even want to tell them I
- 19:10was pregnant because I was afraid I wouldn't get the job.
- 19:14I didn't until it was like Day 10, and they were about to do a
- 19:18stunt where this woman had to, like, jump on top of me on my
- 19:21stomach, the only person I had told, yeah.
- 19:25And so then I came clean and I was like, so we're just going to
- 19:27be really safe today because I'm actually.
- 19:29And they were like, what? You know, how did you not tell
- 19:32us? But anyway, cut to now we're
- 19:33allowed to tell that we're pregnant, right, ladies?
- 19:35And we are a lot more. But, you know, so so to really
- 19:41sorry, a very long winded answer for you.
- 19:43But I think that it's always important to kind of give the
- 19:46pieces of the journey to help clarify like why I didn't just
- 19:51throw my acting career away. And it's really amazing that
- 19:53Eric has been such an incredible supporter of that career and
- 19:58even since I've stepped out of Hollywood and moved up to
- 20:01Sonoma, CA, where I now live, and did that in 2017.
- 20:06I have been offered more movies for a lifetime than I was when I
- 20:10was there, you know, and and that's been such a a fun
- 20:15blessing to keep me like just dabbling in what I love.
- 20:21I got you know and then now that things have shifted so heavily
- 20:23into self tapes, it's like you still get opportunities.
- 20:27It's this huge blessing you can take from anywhere, you know and
- 20:31luckily I still have a great handful of friends down in LA
- 20:34that I can work as a local hire if I need to and and those sort
- 20:38of things. So, you know, when you make this
- 20:40shift into motherhood, I think it is so profound and truly, so
- 20:45many things do kind of have to align for you and your partner
- 20:48to feel like, can we do this, Can we bring kids into the world
- 20:52responsibly? And we see a lot of that done,
- 20:55you know, whimsically or not thoughtfully.
- 21:00And then, you know, we have troubled kids, right?
- 21:03And so I just wanted to try to do the best setup scenario I
- 21:08could. And I feel like it's just been
- 21:12such a an amazing ride. You know.
- 21:15But I feel also too like I know women we teeter on this age
- 21:19right. And and even though we do have
- 21:21the support of science that support is incredibly expensive
- 21:25and it it's just not even doable for so many people you know.
- 21:30And and that is that's also like hurts my heart you know as a
- 21:34Mama where it's like man you know I wish there's so many
- 21:37things I wish we could with our healthcare and just make much
- 21:40more much more feasible for the world you know, that we live in.
- 21:45But yeah, I think it's just there's no one recipe, right?
- 21:49It really has to be all about like where you are, where your
- 21:52heart is and what you're thriving to achieve.
- 21:54And I just felt like I had done far more as an actor than I had
- 21:59really set out to do. And and that maybe sounds
- 22:02whatever it said, never been more than like a B level.
- 22:06But like I said, there was a lot of contentment from all of those
- 22:09jobs that I did do. There was also some jobs that
- 22:11were not fulfilling and that really rubbed me wrong and
- 22:15started to make me feel like saddened by me not getting to do
- 22:20what I really wanted to do and being typecast or being put in
- 22:23this box. You know, a little bit of, you
- 22:27know, whatever it was sexy roles, you know, stuff that just
- 22:30having a dancer background, a dancer body, it's like, you
- 22:33know, let's see what we can, can we get her in a bikini?
- 22:35Can we, You know what can we get her?
- 22:37So, you know you struggle with those kind of things too.
- 22:39And and I think that there was a definitely a few experiences
- 22:42that made me hit a little bit of a roadblock where I was like I
- 22:45can leave this behind and I can move forward doing Wellness and
- 22:48mindfulness because it's so great, you know?
- 22:51Yeah. Yeah, well, Speaking of you
- 22:53having a dancer background, because I know you went to
- 22:56Missouri. State or Southwest Missouri?
- 22:59State of Did Were you a dance major?
- 23:05I was a dance minor. Okay.
- 23:07And then what made you had you always wanted to act or what was
- 23:12that shift for you coming to LA? And like where did how did you?
- 23:21Get out here. What's what's where did it all
- 23:23start? Yeah, because that's a.
- 23:26Big move and I know that your family's in Missouri too like
- 23:31mine and it's a it's it takes some guts to come out here from
- 23:36and I don't think your family is in the business.
- 23:40So it's it's a big like they might not understand either.
- 23:46So what did that look like for you at the beginning?
- 23:50You know, I think just having a long career in dance, that
- 23:53started my mom put me in dance when I was three and then dance
- 23:56till 18. And every year, you know, that I
- 23:57was like 12 onward. It just became what else can I
- 24:00do, mom? Can I do tap?
- 24:01Can I do jazz? Can I compete?
- 24:02Can I tumble? Can I, you know, do sports Afro?
- 24:04I did everything I could possibly do, I feel.
- 24:06And luckily enough, you know, when I, you know, was headed to
- 24:10college, I was, I auditioned for the Sugar Bear dance team which
- 24:14was at Missouri State University Southwest Missouri at the time
- 24:18and and was accepted on the dance team before it was even
- 24:21accepted into the university academically.
- 24:24So, which was very interesting. They said, yes you can come and
- 24:27try out, but we still have to see what your A/C, T scores end
- 24:30up. And this is kind of a funny
- 24:31story because I don't test well, never have.
- 24:33And I had to end up getting letters of recommendation from
- 24:38my school like sports. My gosh, I'm going to blink on
- 24:42his name right now. Doctor Barrow was his name, but
- 24:44he wrote me this amazing letter of recommendation of why he
- 24:47thought I would be an asset to the university.
- 24:50And then I had to write a letter to the Dean of Missouri State
- 24:53University as to why I didn't feel that those ATC scores
- 24:56reflected how successful I would be in the future as I did as I
- 25:01graduated with like a 3.8 and had a very great, you know, long
- 25:06three years on the Sugar Bear squad.
- 25:08And my final year I didn't do Sugar Bears, which was wild
- 25:11because we were so you wanted to go on spring break.
- 25:14We didn't want to have to go on one of the sports teams and
- 25:17dance. We were like, we want to go on
- 25:19spring break as our senior year of college, which is so silly.
- 25:22But I ended up help coaching that year and then I coached
- 25:24over at Kickapoo High School on the dance team.
- 25:26So the the trajectory of like dance that long sort of
- 25:30disciplined life of being a dancer and then and and I minor
- 25:35than dance just simply because I was taking several dance classes
- 25:38at the time and I majored in mass media with a little bit of
- 25:42broadcast journalism emphasis. That's what I was thinking.
- 25:44Oh, I think I'm going to be a reporter or a journalist or
- 25:47something like that. Just finding that those all
- 25:49those elements have come into play as an actor and as a
- 25:52writer. Now you know.
- 25:54Such a great voice for it. Thank you.
- 25:57Thank you. So the transition from there, my
- 26:02sophomore year of college being at Missouri State, I got a show
- 26:05in Chicago and I was dancing for a special event show for Disney.
- 26:08Also, I had the first professional job I ever had was
- 26:11dancing for Disney when I was 17 and I did a show at the Fox
- 26:14Theater in Saint Louis and was traveled out to California to
- 26:17learn the show. And it was when Buena Vista was
- 26:20doing these sort of big opening premieres for a new movie that
- 26:24was coming out and they would like do these stage live stage
- 26:27shows and major cities to help promote the movie coming out.
- 26:30And those kind of got me in the Disney World, which I had never
- 26:34been in before either. So I moved to Evanston, Chicago
- 26:40for a summer and did a show in Chicago.
- 26:42And when I did that show, a lot of those Disney dancers who I
- 26:45danced with in that show said you should audition to go to
- 26:48Tokyo Disneyland. It's an amazing gig and they pay
- 26:52really well and they only take like 20 American performers and
- 26:56you should do it. So anyway, I started auditioning
- 26:59sophomore year, got you know, auditions, senior.
- 27:01And then finally on my senior year is when I actually got
- 27:03offered the contract and they offered me a contract for a face
- 27:08character role, though like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty,
- 27:11Evil, Snow Queen, like the actor tracks instead of the dancer
- 27:14role. And I was mortified.
- 27:16I was like, no, I'm I'm a dancer.
- 27:18I danced my whole life like I dance.
- 27:20I don't like, I'm not going to wave in a parade and do that.
- 27:23But to my dance teacher saying Andrea Bogart and she was like
- 27:26my hero. OK, so I I trusted everything
- 27:29Kathy told me to do Kathy Blattel and she said, Andrea, I
- 27:32I feel that this is going to be the best experience of your life
- 27:35and it's like not a time to turn something like this down.
- 27:37And she goes, I guarantee all the other characters are going
- 27:40to be dancers as well. And you guys can like host your
- 27:42own dance classes and you can do, you can do that and that's
- 27:45what we did. They were all dancers.
- 27:46They all wanted to dance. We rented studio space, We would
- 27:49teach each other classes. It was like having master
- 27:51classes with amazing dancers. It was awesome.
- 27:54So that is what led me really, my mom and dad, amazing support
- 27:58system at home. Said after Japan was kind of
- 28:02coming to an end. That was an 8 month contract.
- 28:03They said, you know mom or Andrea, you're not going to come
- 28:07back here. And I was like I well, I could
- 28:10go dance in Branson or Kathy was interested in maybe having
- 28:13partnership in the dance studio. I could possibly do that.
- 28:16And then I had a friend who I met in one of my other shows
- 28:19when I was 17, Mark Swanhart. And he wanted to move to LA too
- 28:22or New York. So we like we're communicating
- 28:25you know while I was in Japan saying OK we're going to do this
- 28:27we're going to move to New York, LA and cut to he ends up booking
- 28:31like the Chicago Fosse tour or something.
- 28:34So he can't go with me now. So now I'm like the lone wolf
- 28:36going Oh my God, am I going to do this am I going to do this go
- 28:39to LA on my own. And my parents just gave me that
- 28:42total support and confidence that I could.
- 28:45And you know, yeah, you know too.
- 28:47It's a big move to leave your roots.
- 28:49What your your, your entire family, all of it, you know.
- 28:53And yeah, I did the long car ride out, you know, caravander
- 28:58for a couple of days and finally landed.
- 29:01Lived in North Hollywood for my first year with an amazing
- 29:03singer dancer who really took me under her wing, Terra Bonilla.
- 29:07And she, she helped me, like, get dance gigs right away and
- 29:10get, you know, help me get an agent.
- 29:12And she also told me you should jump in this acting class.
- 29:15This woman really loves dancers. Bobby Shaw, Chance and I started
- 29:18with her. And and then it all just was
- 29:21like a tumbleweed. So yeah, huge support system at
- 29:23home. I always say, like mom and dad,
- 29:25you guys never, like, asked me to come home.
- 29:26Most kids, parents, like, ask them to come home and they're
- 29:28like, no, no, no, you you're supposed to be out there.
- 29:31You're supposed to be doing something good, you know, so.
- 29:34Yeah, that's. I asked my parents the same
- 29:37question. So we got It's always important
- 29:40to have blindly supportive, right?
- 29:46I mean, I don't know how they do it.
- 29:48So good on them for all that support.
- 29:53Like, I don't know. Yeah, where I'd be without that.
- 29:57So then flash forward a long time to moving from.
- 30:05LA to Sonoma, were you? Because that was before Emory.
- 30:12Correct. He was born in Sonoma.
- 30:14So I I moved here, yeah. Yep.
- 30:16So she we moved here in 2017, literally a month before she was
- 30:20born. Oh, so like, right.
- 30:22Oh my gosh what a big move. While you're not pregnant, what
- 30:26did how did you choose Sonoma? And I know like before you had
- 30:31said. I'm not ready to leave LA.
- 30:35So what did what? Where did that shift come in?
- 30:40A couple of different interesting things.
- 30:42So Eric, as he had as we met just before we met, he had
- 30:47actually invested in property in Sonoma as sort of a little city
- 30:51escape for himself because he lived in San Francisco and
- 30:54traveled the world. But he really was looking for
- 30:56more of a quiet place to retreat to when he was home as well.
- 31:00And so he bought these two little lots of land that were
- 31:03these old little cottages separated by a Creek bed and and
- 31:08started renovations on one of them, you know, to possibly live
- 31:12in and stay and it was just going to do one at a time and
- 31:14yadda yadda. And so when we met that was one
- 31:18of the places that he would say like hey, do you want to come up
- 31:21to Sonoma for the weekend? And we would stay in this little
- 31:23rundown cottage that was not renovated yet, but we would bike
- 31:28along this road called Thorns Ferry Road.
- 31:30And it was this beautiful loop that, I mean, we literally just
- 31:34fell in love, like, you know, biking around wine country.
- 31:36And and so I had never been here before.
- 31:40I had only been to San Francisco once or twice.
- 31:43Maybe I'd done some work in Oakland.
- 31:45And then I had never been up to this area at all.
- 31:49I was like, I was thought it was Sedona.
- 31:51I'm like, wait, what? Arizona?
- 31:52Where are we? You know?
- 31:54And, you know, and I just fell in love.
- 31:57It's so beautiful here. It's so tranquil.
- 32:00There is a lot of peace and you're just surrounded by nature
- 32:03and a lot of beautiful things, you know, and and so I think
- 32:07that was very captivating, yet also very quiet.
- 32:10So I was like, oh, I don't really know what I, you know
- 32:13what that would be like. I find it.
- 32:14And I also wasn't sure if it was more of like a retirement
- 32:17community, like more older. This is where you come to like
- 32:19retire or and you know and tour and be a tourist.
- 32:23But so when Eric and I did like back and forth two years, I more
- 32:30or less you know we both started falling in love with Sonoma and
- 32:34as we sort of decided that potentially we wanted to get
- 32:37married and have children, we both.
- 32:40Eric grew up in a small town in Trondheim, Norway and you know
- 32:44out on land and quieter and I grew up you know 20 acres of
- 32:49land mom and dad little house on a lot of land and gravel road to
- 32:53learn to ride my bike. So there was definitely both of
- 32:55us had this yearning for a quieter slower pace to raise
- 32:59children in and you know and I think it was kind of interesting
- 33:05we went home for Christmas to my family and as we over those two
- 33:10years we also flipped one of the the buildings and started Airbnb
- 33:14in it. So and it became really
- 33:16successful. Eric has incredible style,
- 33:18beautiful Scandinavian, very clean aesthetic and.
- 33:21So yeah, I've seen pictures there.
- 33:23You. Gorgeous.
- 33:25They're gorgeous and so Oh my gosh now I've learned so much
- 33:28from him about that you know that world and and we made a
- 33:32family business out of it. So and at that stage like there
- 33:35wasn't much I was doing to help facilitate it along at all.
- 33:39Obviously we weren't married. It wasn't mine.
- 33:41It wasn't it wasn't something that I felt like I was a part of
- 33:43yet. But as we, you know, he was
- 33:45definitely including me and choices and you know, you know,
- 33:49design choices and color palettes and things like that.
- 33:51So I started to get a little bit like curious and interested of
- 33:55how I could be supportive and help in this Ave. as well.
- 33:57And so my brother, actually, when we went home for Christmas,
- 34:01he was the one who just like sat me down and was like, listen
- 34:03here, sister, you know, And my brother just, he gave me a
- 34:08little bit of his two cents about how he's like, look, you
- 34:11love to teach. You can do that anywhere.
- 34:13You can build your yoga practice anywhere.
- 34:15And he said, and you've done so much with acting.
- 34:18You know, maybe like that ship has sailed, you know.
- 34:21And you know, he was trying to like read me the, the, like, I
- 34:25think you're done acting, sister, you know, kind of.
- 34:28And and then, you know, we looked at some houses in LA and
- 34:33we weren't really falling in love with anything in an area
- 34:35that we wanted to be. And, and I think it all just
- 34:39started to make more sense where I was like, well, if maybe I
- 34:42could be a facilitator and helping manage the Airbnb
- 34:45business, you know, and help you out while you're still so busy
- 34:48doing photography, I can build my yoga business, you know,
- 34:51anywhere really. And he said if my team is
- 34:54willing to keep me here in LA, maybe I can still put myself on
- 34:57tape for certain things. Or I can just come back down if
- 35:00there's a really a great guest star recurring or something or a
- 35:03series regular, like I can just come down and, you know, see
- 35:05what happens, right. We can just kind of do both
- 35:07worlds and that was really what what hit it like after
- 35:10Christmas. And then we talked to his family
- 35:12a bit about it too and just we're taking inventory of
- 35:15opinions. But we ultimately knew we had to
- 35:16make the decision, you know, and and that just became really
- 35:20clear that we both were, you know, it was hard, like again,
- 35:24still hard. But I also know myself and my
- 35:27nature of being like a chameleon to.
- 35:30I love meeting people. I'm a social creature.
- 35:33I've gone much more introverted, I think, since I've gotten
- 35:35older, but I still very much love building community.
- 35:39I love connecting people. I love being connected to
- 35:42people. So I knew that I would thrive,
- 35:45you know, wherever hopefully I was put, because I would make
- 35:49that choice for myself, you know?
- 35:50And, yeah, and it's just been, I mean, truly a blessing to be
- 35:55here and to still get to work and act and put myself on tape
- 35:59and audition and Eric and I, if I get an offer for a Lifetime
- 36:02movie or something, we talk about, you know, expense versus
- 36:06what I'm going to make. Where is it childcare?
- 36:09Does it all make sense and we just work it out?
- 36:11If it's, if I read it and I'm like, I really think this would
- 36:14be fun to do. Eric's like, let's make it work,
- 36:17you know? So I I feel really grateful for
- 36:21that. Yeah, yeah.
- 36:23Do you think that because like I think you said you started
- 36:28getting more work later on, like either once you moved or just
- 36:36later on, Do you think that's because you kind of let that go,
- 36:44like held it less, maybe less precious or?
- 36:49Or has becoming a mother helped you inform your acting?
- 36:54Or just how is your. Yeah.
- 36:58How is your acting like? Do you think that those two.
- 37:02Yeah for sure I do. I I think that a journey into
- 37:06motherhood. And you know for two years prior
- 37:08to motherhood I was writing A blog Inspirational addict and
- 37:12now it's called Andrew Bogart, Mindful Living.
- 37:14But and it's really not a blog because I don't write, but I
- 37:20will. But, you know, those two years
- 37:23of writing and things like that were really to help me propel
- 37:27myself into a better place. And because certain things were
- 37:30working really well, I felt a huge calling to share them.
- 37:34So that was part of that. And then, you know, yeah, it's
- 37:38like, so those dynamics of like writing and reading about things
- 37:42that were helping support my wellbeing and then sharing them
- 37:45and then also journeying into motherhood, I mean, all of that
- 37:49changes. Like, you know, you're, I mean,
- 37:52you know, it's like your relationship now to things
- 37:54happening to other children in the world is far different than
- 37:58when you didn't have your own kids.
- 38:00You know, it's much more emotional.
- 38:02There's much more empathy. I, you know, it's very difficult
- 38:05for me to actually hold the tears back at times when there
- 38:08are horrible things going on in the world with other, you know,
- 38:11families and children. And so that combined with Eric's
- 38:18support and you know, there's there's, we all know, you know,
- 38:24when you're financially stressed or when you're just like as an
- 38:27actor, you make a big chunk of money.
- 38:29I've done really well. I'd saved a lot of money from
- 38:33General Hospital and then just from consistently doing yoga and
- 38:36stuff that sort of evolves you as well, right.
- 38:39There's not a desperation for the job.
- 38:43And then and then I mean so much has shifted with me now.
- 38:46I mean, my manager and agent are like, you do the best, tape self
- 38:49tapes like you're acting is so not even just so much better as
- 38:55much as you just hit every beat that you're supposed to.
- 38:58Like it's all on point right now.
- 39:00And so I can for sure say when you have the comfort of knowing
- 39:07that you don't have to take this job, that you can take this job
- 39:11if you get it, you can make choices for yourself.
- 39:13That makes sense. I think that just the financial
- 39:17support of what I have in my marriage and in my life now has
- 39:22I would be lying if I didn't say that impact my what I exude as
- 39:27far as desperation or you know if I need this job kind of
- 39:31thing. And so that that again is
- 39:34something like I'm I do not take for granted and I think Eric a
- 39:38lot for giving me this sort of this underlying confidence of
- 39:43being able to harness my craft more and not worry.
- 39:47You know and I think people are capable of doing that without
- 39:52this, but it's all about the way we talk to ourselves you know
- 39:55and the things we tell ourselves.
- 39:56So there's, you know, I I want to say oh, I can give this
- 39:59credit, but it's also a a test to I think.
- 40:03Me really diving into mindfulness and and developing a
- 40:06meditation practice and a strong yoga practice and really a loved
- 40:10like I just love and obsessed with growth mindset material.
- 40:14So a lot of that has all been a great recipe for me to give
- 40:18myself more confidence and also sort of the sense of like, no,
- 40:22I've been acting for a really long time now.
- 40:24I don't have to take that job. You know it it's like that.
- 40:27And there is I found there's a lot of power and no and
- 40:31establishing rates for yourself. And so yes that's it's been a
- 40:36beautiful dichotomy of like this recipe of comfort with marriage
- 40:40and financial stability and having children that also are
- 40:45much more of a priority now. You know, then it's like they're
- 40:48your everything. And so, you know, even the end
- 40:51of last year it was offered two movies and I never get offers
- 40:56back-to-back. And it was really a struggle
- 40:59whether I was going to do it or not because I was away from my
- 41:02kids and it was the first time. And Audrey's still quite little
- 41:05and I did not traumatize her in any way.
- 41:09And you know, I talked to a psychotherapist about it and
- 41:10she's like, this will not create trauma.
- 41:12This will create stress and emotional like little bit of
- 41:15jarring maybe you know where she will wonder where you are and
- 41:18when you're coming back, even once you're back, if you're
- 41:21going to be gone for a long time.
- 41:23And I saw a bit of that for sure.
- 41:25But for the most part, I mean, Eric would send me videos and
- 41:28she would just run around the house and make Mama, Mama, Mama
- 41:30see me on FaceTime, hug and kiss the phone, and then she'd be
- 41:33fine. A little more aware.
- 41:33You know, I think Emery actually had a harder time because Emery
- 41:37and I, you know, we have such an emotional bond too.
- 41:39And she's used to her Mama, snuggles and I think you know,
- 41:42so you know it's being a little. A little more aware.
- 41:47It's up. Yeah.
- 41:49Yeah. So get ready, Mama.
- 41:50It's coming for you. Yeah, for sure.
- 41:55What did, what did the conversation look like for you
- 41:59telling your reps both that you were that you were pregnant and
- 42:07that you were moving to Sonoma where they supportive of, I mean
- 42:13I think you said you're still with them.
- 42:15So seems like they were supportive of both of those
- 42:18decisions. Yeah, really supportive.
- 42:21I think my manager, you know I've been with him for a long
- 42:23time and we started as friends and then became you know
- 42:27partners and working together. And I think he was definitely a
- 42:30little hurt to see that I was going to go.
- 42:32You know that I was leaving and uprooting and and probably
- 42:37wasn't sure how much I would work, you know and obviously at
- 42:40the time I was pregnant too. But man, so much support from my
- 42:44team really. And like you say I mean just to
- 42:47now cut to I've been gone since 2017 and to still have them
- 42:51represent me and still you know go through the work of
- 42:55submitting me for things and and you know me, you know I do work
- 43:01really hard to get myself on tape.
- 43:02And I mean as soon as Audrey was born I it was almost it might
- 43:05have been a part of like my postpartum healing where I was.
- 43:09I was like yes, I'm ready. And I was just auditioning and
- 43:11putting myself on tape so soon and I was kind of like OK wait,
- 43:15let's digest this. Am I going to, am I going to
- 43:17accept this job if I get it, You know, and and I wanted to be
- 43:21very careful of that because I don't also want to waste casting
- 43:24directors times, you know, I have such a respect for what
- 43:26they do. So yeah, it was just a it was
- 43:31definitely, you know, the conversation was very much like
- 43:35I'm pregnant. I'm madly in love.
- 43:38You know, I'm going to we're we're talking about staying here
- 43:42not quite sure what we're going to do yet but you know, through
- 43:45pregnancy of course. And then I got that offer for
- 43:47the movie. So they were all kind of still
- 43:49excited about me doing something while I was pregnant.
- 43:54You know, and then and then yeah, I think the move, you
- 43:57know, the transition was okay. Well, you got to the
- 44:01conversation really becomes about what are you willing to do
- 44:04still, you know what what is going to make sense Like am I
- 44:08still going to put you out for a series regular that works in
- 44:12Atlanta or the show shoots in Vancouver or the show shoots
- 44:16back here in LA? Are you going to be willing to
- 44:18uproot your life? My first couple years, that was
- 44:20a big no. I said absolutely not.
- 44:23I am here. I will do recurring guest stars.
- 44:26I would love to do film if we have any great films, you know,
- 44:29things like that. But I I'm not.
- 44:31We just bought a house. I'm in like a dream house.
- 44:34I don't. I don't want to uproot and move
- 44:36anywhere with a small baby. And then now the struggle is a
- 44:39little bit because I got my girl in a great school, you know, and
- 44:42she's going to be in first grade next year and she's had an
- 44:46amazing kinder year. And I think about how I grew up
- 44:49going from K through, you know, high school with my same people.
- 44:56I got my best friend Andrea from 2 years old.
- 44:58Our dads work together. We went to our school our whole
- 45:01lives together, My best friend Tammy and Jill.
- 45:03You know, it's like you create these friendships when you are,
- 45:06when you have the luxury of being at a school system your
- 45:08whole life. But I also now I, I think
- 45:11there's a credible value in traveling with your kids.
- 45:14I think homeschooling is pretty amazing.
- 45:16Cheers to all the Mamas who endure that.
- 45:18Because I, I, I don't think I have it in me, but I think it's
- 45:21incredible for the moms who are doing that and dads and, you
- 45:25know, caretakers, all of you. And it's.
- 45:28Yeah. So it's yeah, it's been a it's
- 45:33been A and they still are just so supportive.
- 45:35So it's, you know, like I just auditioned for a series regular
- 45:38a couple months ago and we had a smallish pilot season and my
- 45:42husband it it kind of we just have conversations a lot.
- 45:44So anytime something comes my way, I read it.
- 45:47I take a look at it. I tell my husband about it.
- 45:49I say if there's people attached to it, what network it is, what
- 45:52the money could look like and then we just make a decision do
- 45:55am I going to audition or not, you know.
- 45:56And so we just kind of take it on a case by case basis now but,
- 46:01and I have an agent up here in in the city in San Francisco,
- 46:04I'm with Stars Agency and I just a little plug for them.
- 46:07I I, I did some motion capture work when I was down in Lai did
- 46:12like a David Fincher commercial for Nike where they turned my
- 46:15one body into like an entire cheerleading squad.
- 46:17So I have a little bit of motion capture under my belt.
- 46:20Yeah. And I moved up here and there's
- 46:22this amazing 2K sports studios like huge sound stages where
- 46:27they're turning all of these basketball teams into video
- 46:30games. So I oddly enough, I have gotten
- 46:34in with them and they're I work, you know, this year I've worked
- 46:37about 15 days. It's like a couple days a month.
- 46:39It's very easy. It's 30 minutes from my house.
- 46:42It's a beautiful drive. It's a sad job.
- 46:44I am working with the most delightful, fun people and that
- 46:49has been, I like, I cannot say how grateful I am enough because
- 46:53that has been, that has been a really sweet little gig to have,
- 46:56you know, on the side here up here.
- 46:58And it's motion capture. I'm very physical person, so
- 47:00it's fun for me. It's fun to fun to do it.
- 47:03So it's been a great little interesting gig too.
- 47:05Yeah, that sounds awesome. Well, that's definitely a
- 47:09testament to to your acting ability of how supportive and
- 47:15like your agents were or your reps were saying like that
- 47:18you're. Tapes are better than they've
- 47:21ever been. But Speaking of being a physical
- 47:25person, how was that whole transition for you becoming
- 47:31pregnant and then afterwards since since like you said, I
- 47:37mean I guess that's difference with age too, but like like you
- 47:42said, well you have a dancer body and the things that they
- 47:47were. You know, pigeonholing you into,
- 47:50Did that have any stress for you or or was the mindfulness just a
- 48:02whole able to take care of that for you as well?
- 48:07You know, that is a practice and it's a daily practice for me.
- 48:10I mean, right now I'm working on just being, like calmer in the
- 48:14state of needing to rush, you know, like getting my little
- 48:17girl ready for school in the morning.
- 48:18I don't want to have this frantic, hysterical.
- 48:21You got to go. You got to brush your teeth.
- 48:22You got to get your shoes on. But she was like a snail, my
- 48:25little bean. So it's hard not to, but I'm
- 48:28just, I'm working. So the the, the ritual of
- 48:32constantly being in practice with myself and my, you know, my
- 48:37character flaws or the things that I'm not really applauding
- 48:40for is it is a daily practice. It truly is, you know, and I
- 48:45think when it comes to my physicality, I, you know, I
- 48:48think Giselle said this once where she's like I have a high
- 48:50metabolism, you know, But it there is, there is something to
- 48:54that where I I definitely was blessed with a high metabolism
- 48:57and an ability to burn calories fairly easily.
- 49:02And like it or not, you know, the same with someone telling
- 49:06me, oh, I look so skinny. Isn't is the same sort of
- 49:09degrading feeling that someone gets from feeling like they're
- 49:12too heavy, you know? So there there's definitely
- 49:14been, if anything, there's usually been a struggle with me
- 49:17of trying to keep a healthy weight, look for myself.
- 49:20So, and I breastfeed. I'm still breastfeeding my
- 49:24child. I'm like 2 years old.
- 49:26We're done. But breastfeeding really has, I
- 49:30think, been something that has supported weight loss for me, to
- 49:34the point where I have to work to put weight on, and I also
- 49:37struggled with supply a lot. I can't believe that I'm still
- 49:40breastfeeding her, but but I was never able to solely breastfeed
- 49:44her both girls, because I didn't have it.
- 49:46I wasn't producing enough. My body didn't quite do that.
- 49:49But, you know, so when it came to the sort of like physicality
- 49:53and body image and all that kind of stuff, I mean, I personally
- 49:58loved being pregnant. I loved it.
- 50:00I mean, and I was very fortunate that I had to really like good
- 50:05pregnancies. I wasn't sick.
- 50:06I had very little nausea. You know the end of like with
- 50:12Audrey, I gained so much more weight faster.
- 50:15So even though I in total I only gained like 2 or I think maybe
- 50:20£5 more than I did with Emory, I gained the weight a lot quicker
- 50:24so I was. Like, I know what's happening
- 50:27exactly. And so that was really shocking
- 50:29for me because I'm like, oh, I'm not going to be able to like,
- 50:32hide this as long And my ankles got, I got like, I was just
- 50:36retaining so much water in my legs.
- 50:38I mean, even my husband and I, we joke about it like the butt
- 50:42that I had, because I've never had a like a, you know, a
- 50:46healthy looking big butt. So my my bum, wow.
- 50:52I was like, I want to tone this while it's this size so I can
- 50:55try to keep it a little bit. I mean, we just, we had such
- 50:58good laughs about it and we still do.
- 51:00But the butt fell right back off.
- 51:02I'm still struggling to, like, try to have a butt.
- 51:06But, you know, it's I I think when it comes to that there, you
- 51:10know, our female bodies, oh, my gosh, they go through so much
- 51:13through pregnancy. And, you know, not to make it
- 51:16all sound like it was just a walk in the park for me because
- 51:18it wasn't. And there was moments where I
- 51:20was just crying and I was so like, Oh my gosh, I'm just so
- 51:23ready for this baby to be out, you know?
- 51:26And I was five days overdue with Audrey.
- 51:28My endocrinologist was like, okay you.
- 51:31I don't want to scare you but she's like you should not go
- 51:35overdue when you're past 45 or you know or you're in late 40,
- 51:39mid 40s and you're and you're an IVF.
- 51:43And I, she's like, please go to the hospital and have that baby
- 51:45today. What?
- 51:47Yeah. And I wanted to try to have her
- 51:49natural, which is also crazy, you know, but I did which is the
- 51:52the bananas. But it's I didn't with Emory,
- 51:57but with Audrey, I wasn't. And I wasn't even, like,
- 51:59determined. I went in with, like, a very
- 52:00open plan of, like, this is what I would like to do, but I will.
- 52:04I will do what needs to be done, you know?
- 52:07And I just was fortunate that her divine timing really came in
- 52:10my favor when I was, like, hitting my breaking point and,
- 52:12like, called for the anesthesiologist for an
- 52:15epidural. They were like, oh, no, she's
- 52:17coming right now. So I was like, great, Thank you,
- 52:19Audrey. But, you know, it is a struggle.
- 52:23And that my heart goes out to. I have some amazing women that
- 52:26even here in Snowmen. Then there's an app called
- 52:28Mothership Rising that really supports this postpartum
- 52:31journey. And more and more I'm seeing
- 52:34women circles coming together and you know yoga retreats or
- 52:38just mindful retreats geared towards moms who we do we we
- 52:44there's a lot of struggle within the body image the what our
- 52:48bodies go through and the hormones.
- 52:50I mean I think the hormones are sort of the biggest challenge
- 52:53right is to is to figure out and we don't really know what
- 52:55they're going to do you know so it's can be out of control.
- 52:59And I just found that, you know, my recipe, I have a lot of
- 53:02little rituals that I do and things that I stay really
- 53:05connected to when it comes to healthy food And and making sure
- 53:08I move my body daily doesn't always, you know, have to mean a
- 53:12peloton ride or a crazy yoga practice.
- 53:15I mean it's very minimal. It's like me just walking my
- 53:17daughter for a walk. But I make sure I try to move
- 53:19daily. And you know, the pressures that
- 53:21come along with that are I think usually the pressure that we put
- 53:25on ourselves. And so, you know it's about
- 53:28working to peel those layers back and realize how you can get
- 53:33to that place of self love and and be accepting of like what
- 53:36your body's going through. And it's so easy to sometimes to
- 53:40just look down at the human that you're nurturing and that you're
- 53:42taking care of and that you birthed and and remind yourself
- 53:45like this was a big deal. This was a big deal for my body,
- 53:50you know and you know, as far as being luckily as I was
- 53:55transitioning kind of into yoga and Wellness and I feel like the
- 54:01roles started to shift a bit for me too.
- 54:03And and just with age, naturally, I was getting more of
- 54:05the suburban mom roles, you know, versus this, you know,
- 54:11whatever role I used to sort of pigeon, you know, felt like I
- 54:14was pigeonholed into. And that's been fun for the
- 54:17lifetime. I mean it there's that's
- 54:19probably been more fun for me than anything.
- 54:21This like normal suburban mom who's like, you know, had some
- 54:25tragedy happen and now she's being stalked and she's going to
- 54:28try to end it well, You know, I said, like last couple years
- 54:33I've been putting out into the universe like how badly I just
- 54:35want to do Christmas movies. And like every director I work
- 54:38with, I'm like guys. You see how happy I am?
- 54:41Like, I'm ready to do some fun stuff.
- 54:44Yeah, give me some, like, sprinkle Christmas cookies and
- 54:47let's do this. Yes.
- 54:49Yes, completely. So, you know, the pressures, I
- 54:52think of a lot of that stuff have really been supported
- 54:56through just mindfulness, you know, and growth mindset and
- 54:59staying really curious about who I am and how I operate.
- 55:03And, you know, when I'm not feeling so good, like how can I
- 55:06segue this into, well, let's figure out what's going to make
- 55:09me feel better. And, you know, yeah, my poor
- 55:12husband, if you asked him and he's got to listen to me a lot,
- 55:14you know, but that's another big thing that I've worked on a lot.
- 55:19It's like, does that need to be verbalized?
- 55:22No, I can. I can just write that down in a
- 55:25journal, but thank you for asking that.
- 55:29That's a good question. To share about because we all go
- 55:33through that stuff, you know? Yeah, it's it's hard.
- 55:36It's a big transition. And so many people, you know,
- 55:40talk about how after birth and they feel like they don't know
- 55:46that. They don't know the body that
- 55:48they're in anymore. And luckily I didn't go through
- 55:52any of that. I mean.
- 55:55Some of my shorts don't fit anymore, but besides that, I
- 55:58feel still. I I still feel at home in my
- 56:01body. Not necessarily always
- 56:03comfortable in my home, but but it's my home regardless.
- 56:08So it's nice that you have the yoga and your mindfulness of
- 56:13being able to move your body and feel good in your body.
- 56:20I lost. I totally lost what I was just
- 56:23going to Sorry no no no not because of you will blame mom
- 56:31but is your is your husband like Obviously he's supportive and
- 56:38understanding of this you're mindful and your yoga and is he
- 56:46on a similar similar. Track with you on that or is he
- 56:52more of a you're like, hey. Let's let's make sure we're.
- 56:59Doing this or whatever, you know when we first met he was he had
- 57:03been a yoga practitioner so he had already done a lot of yoga
- 57:06on his own. He worked for a photographer for
- 57:09years in his younger, earlier apprentice, you know, years up
- 57:12and coming as a photographer and and he was a Yogi so he was as
- 57:16his assistant like drug to yoga classes sometimes with him,
- 57:20which I thought was amazing. So you know, we did a lot of
- 57:24yoga together when we first met and I would give him yoga
- 57:27privates a lot, you know, it's just it was super fun.
- 57:31And then here I would just say in the last year like since
- 57:34Audrey's been born, it's been harder for him to get to my
- 57:38class. He used to always come to my
- 57:39Friday morning class and he still dabbles in, you know here
- 57:42and there. As far as growth mindset, Eric
- 57:45is a super growth mindset person and we we, we share a lot of
- 57:49podcasts that we love. We share a lot of books that we
- 57:51both have gotten something out of.
- 57:54We're both very much on a path of staying curious about who we
- 57:57are curious about our relationship and about moving
- 58:01forward, you know, and in a good way and that I mean I know how
- 58:05hard that is to get aligned and we're not always In Sync.
- 58:10You know, there, there there's for sure like moments where you
- 58:13know, we talk a good talk about all the things we want to do and
- 58:17we both, we both try to support each other in execution.
- 58:21Because I think when you do have two small kids, you know, again,
- 58:25it's very easy to lose sight of what you said you were going to
- 58:28do that day. And suddenly, you know, the day
- 58:30has shifted. And so you know, I think the
- 58:33biggest thing we found too is just to stay open.
- 58:36You know, we have to. We, you know, our Airbnb
- 58:39business is it's one of the top Airbnb's if you search in the
- 58:43county of Sonoma and even in California.
- 58:45And so we we have Eric is amazing at customer service and
- 58:50you know he's getting me on board to be sometimes it's he
- 58:55handles things better than I would you know but but I'm
- 58:59learning too like this is an amazing business that he was so
- 59:02wise to invest and sort of create and now we've done it
- 59:05together and we're managing it together.
- 59:07And so there's a lot that goes into having to pivot very
- 59:12quickly when we have things arrive.
- 59:15And and sometimes I think what sacrifices the most is our
- 59:19selfcare, like we it's the thing that gets shifted to the back
- 59:22burner the quickest, you know. So it's a, it's a bit of a
- 59:26juggle, right, of like figuring out how to stay in tune.
- 59:29And you're like, no, today's the day like I have to run.
- 59:31Like I need to run today. And he knows too.
- 59:33Like, I'm pretty vocal about if I'm like I need to sit and take
- 59:38a yoga class or like I need to meditate today.
- 59:40And I haven't even myself gone into a yoga studio and taken a
- 59:44class for myself in a long time. You know, I have my mentor in LA
- 59:49who I mentioned earlier, Andrea Markham, she's thank God she
- 59:52pivoted it online and she does retreats all over the world.
- 59:55So I just do, I do her classes online when I can and and I
- 59:59would, I'm like jonesing, drooling, salivating over the
- 1:00:02idea of going on a retreat with her again one year, you know.
- 1:00:05But it's yes. So we're very.
- 1:00:07I think that's why we initially fell in love too, is because we
- 1:00:09were very aligned with like. Both mindset and mindfulness.
- 1:00:13And Eric has definitely taken a bit of a turn into real estate
- 1:00:16right now. He's, he's loves listening to a
- 1:00:19couple of podcasts that not only are about education, educating
- 1:00:23us in real estate, but also just current events and like the
- 1:00:26economy and what's happening right now.
- 1:00:28There's a lot, a lot, a lot going on that could deeply
- 1:00:32impact you know all of us and our investments and our
- 1:00:35businesses and things like that. So but yes, we are very
- 1:00:39likeminded in those avenues and we we raise our children.
- 1:00:42You know, we we say gratitudes before our dinner and there's
- 1:00:46things that we are very much aligned for that feels really,
- 1:00:48really good. And when we're not really on the
- 1:00:51same page typically like I will sit us down and we just we try
- 1:00:55to get there you know and and so it's good.
- 1:00:58But yeah I mean it would be I wish I was a runner because I
- 1:01:02used to run a ton and then I decided that's terrible for my
- 1:01:05knees and ankles and I can't do it anymore.
- 1:01:07But Eric loves to run. So when he when I, you know when
- 1:01:10he really loves to get a workout and he'll just, he takes off and
- 1:01:13go, go, goes for a run. But yeah, I've been, I've been
- 1:01:16on them. I've been like, hey, I kind of
- 1:01:17miss you know miss having you in yoga class.
- 1:01:19You know I plant little. I plant little seeds.
- 1:01:25Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:01:27Of oh, I was going to ask how do you manage?
- 1:01:30How do you yourself continue to find the passion and the
- 1:01:37creativity even to do the self tapes?
- 1:01:42Because obviously. You, like, you said, you're
- 1:01:48like, you're able to, you have other things that will take care
- 1:01:55of you, like emotionally, physically, financially.
- 1:01:58So how are you able to keep that passion, like when you get an
- 1:02:06audition? Because I know sometimes I'll
- 1:02:07get an audition and I'm like. I have to do this audition,
- 1:02:12which is never a good right to have right so.
- 1:02:18I guess. Is it mostly?
- 1:02:20Yeah. How do you find that?
- 1:02:22Is it? What is it?
- 1:02:25Right. So maybe there's a an element,
- 1:02:29Because this is a great question too that I haven't thought
- 1:02:31about. I used to love being an acting
- 1:02:34class. I loved it.
- 1:02:35I really enjoyed it and I would be in class as much as I could
- 1:02:40possibly afford, truly. And I think I because because
- 1:02:44not only are you obviously practicing your crap, but you
- 1:02:47are learning by watching everybody else, you know.
- 1:02:49It's just like watching a great series, you know, or something.
- 1:02:52You learn a lot. And I think that most of the
- 1:02:56roles that have come my way lately, just it's like I I get
- 1:03:00so excited to play, you know, whether it's something really
- 1:03:04close to who I am or someone pretty far stretched from who I
- 1:03:08am. I go, Oh my gosh, like I got
- 1:03:11this, you know. And I I think they just get
- 1:03:14excited about that dynamic of playing still, partially
- 1:03:19probably because I'm not in an acting class the way I used to
- 1:03:22always love to be. And that was the playground,
- 1:03:25right. And Sarah Jessica Parker, I
- 1:03:28recently saw something she said on the SAG AFTRA app, The Fund,
- 1:03:33you know, on Instagram. And I really love hearing what a
- 1:03:36lot of those successful actors have to say about what kept them
- 1:03:39going and what why they keep doing it.
- 1:03:41And I remember her saying that every audition is truly a step
- 1:03:47closer to a job. And it's also an opportunity to
- 1:03:52just play, you know? And I think earlier in my
- 1:03:56career, I was so nervous. You know, there was a lot of
- 1:04:00nervous energy of not being sure of myself, not really knowing
- 1:04:05who I was. Who am I?
- 1:04:07What roles am I trying to get? What roles am I going to get?
- 1:04:10You know what? I always, if you ask my best
- 1:04:14friend Andrea, she was like, you're going to be on Saturday
- 1:04:17Night Live. You're like Gilda Radner.
- 1:04:18It's so crazy that the crap that you do, you know.
- 1:04:21And I always thought I was going to be on a sitcom or do
- 1:04:23something really funny. But that is not really.
- 1:04:27I I got a couple of sitcoms and I remember one casting director,
- 1:04:31God, I could, I wish I could remember who it was.
- 1:04:33She lowered her little glasses and she goes, my, you sure are
- 1:04:37funny. And I was like and she goes
- 1:04:40really, truly, I have not had a very pretty girl come in and be
- 1:04:44this funny in a very long time. And I thought and she goes, but
- 1:04:47you're too pretty, so don't try to ride that funny horse.
- 1:04:50And I was like. Oh, no, I might job.
- 1:04:57Yeah, that's interesting. There's always, man, there's
- 1:05:01always other, you know, things we don't know.
- 1:05:04Like, you know, if if we knew now, like if we knew then what
- 1:05:09we know now, right? Like, you know, I love for some,
- 1:05:13for some, you know, reasons, social media can be a great
- 1:05:17tool. I love, hate it, right.
- 1:05:19But it can be a great tool. And so for things like that,
- 1:05:21when I look at the SAG AFTRA and I, I look at, you know, these
- 1:05:24actors and telling their stories about how they got to where they
- 1:05:26are or what kept them going or those things.
- 1:05:29And I do allow myself to feel inspired by that because you you
- 1:05:34see, and I worked on the other side of things for a minute too.
- 1:05:36I worked in production on the movie Moneyball.
- 1:05:39I was like the baseball coordinator's assistant, and I
- 1:05:42saw how quickly the director made a decision about who was
- 1:05:47going to play the picture for the Oakland A's.
- 1:05:50And it had. He wasn't looking reviewing his
- 1:05:53resume, and he wasn't looking at, like all of his credits and
- 1:05:56you know, where this kid was from or anything.
- 1:05:58It was like this kid just had a better hook on his throat and
- 1:06:04the kid who got it ended up being like way less of an actor
- 1:06:08was going to GoPro and had an injury and was like a you know,
- 1:06:11minor League Baseball player. So and then here this kid that
- 1:06:14was up against him and I saw that kids resume and I thought
- 1:06:17that kids heart is going to be broken today.
- 1:06:19But I saw so clearly how it comes down to so little that has
- 1:06:25to do with you sometimes. You know it's your hair color,
- 1:06:29the color of your skin, the your eye shape your if you remind
- 1:06:32them of somebody, you know, we've heard this now but we
- 1:06:34didn't hear this two decades ago or a decade ago.
- 1:06:37We there wasn't these open conversations as much in on
- 1:06:41social media where all of it's being thrown in your face.
- 1:06:43It'd be like, Oh, well, I probably just didn't get it
- 1:06:45because I was like 5 foot seven and they needed 5 foot 2.
- 1:06:49You just, you beat yourself to a pulp because you're not good
- 1:06:52enough. You're not good enough, you're
- 1:06:53not good enough, you know, And that is probably, I think the
- 1:06:58single best thing I've learned, you know, about being an actor.
- 1:07:01It's like, if I'm going to give my best and do my best, that is
- 1:07:06all I can absolutely do. Everything else is not in my
- 1:07:10hands. So the only time I would really
- 1:07:13feel disappointed, I feel in the, you know, when I would go
- 1:07:16for auditions in LA and there was plenty where I didn't feel
- 1:07:19like I worked hard enough on the audition.
- 1:07:20I did not get off book, I didn't prepare myself fully and that
- 1:07:25obviously you walk in the room and there's a different air
- 1:07:27about you. You're not as you know, you're
- 1:07:29not as confident all of those things.
- 1:07:31So, you know, and that avenue, I would just tell everybody, man,
- 1:07:36do your homework and just like know it inside and out.
- 1:07:39So you can just play and just have fun and do your very best
- 1:07:43because that is all we can do, you know.
- 1:07:46And when you're not doing your best, then you can be hard on
- 1:07:48yourself, you know, be hard on yourself and you should, you
- 1:07:50know, and you should. And there's if I could turn back
- 1:07:52time, Oh my gosh, There are so many, so many opportunities
- 1:07:56where I was like why didn't I study more for that?
- 1:07:58Why didn't I get off the book? Why didn't I just prepare, you
- 1:08:01know, 5 more minutes? But I think too, there's there's
- 1:08:04such a struggle in the business where you realize you get in the
- 1:08:08room and sometimes you feel like you're not even worthy of
- 1:08:10getting in the room. Like, you know, your manager had
- 1:08:12to beg to get you through that door and you just know you don't
- 1:08:15have a chance. And so you walk in with this
- 1:08:18deflated feeling of like, and sometimes you're treated that
- 1:08:21way in the room, too, and you know it.
- 1:08:23You can feel it and it just sucks the wind out of you, you
- 1:08:26know? And then there's times you walk
- 1:08:27in, you feel so welcome, so honored, so like, that person is
- 1:08:31cheering for you, you know? And that feels amazing.
- 1:08:33So it's just such a tricky business, isn't it?
- 1:08:36So many, so many like highs and lows and you know, and just,
- 1:08:42yeah, highs and lows, really. Well, hopefully you're able to,
- 1:08:47because I know as moms we're just as hard on ourselves as we
- 1:08:50are as actors. So I mean.
- 1:08:55We have to be, like you said, kinder to ourselves as actors.
- 1:09:00But then to have that same mentality as mothers as well, to
- 1:09:05be like, because the mom guilts and just the idea that we're
- 1:09:09supposed to feel mom guilt, it's like just that you're there,
- 1:09:17you're doing your best. As long as you're doing your
- 1:09:20best, these little ladies are going to be, oh, my God, yeah.
- 1:09:27And even when you're not your best, you know, being willing to
- 1:09:30say, like, I'm not my best self today, tell your kids, like,
- 1:09:33there's, I've learned so much value in being able to look at
- 1:09:36my little girl and say, hey, I raised my voice there and I that
- 1:09:40is not what I meant to do. You know, you didn't deserve
- 1:09:42that. Or I'm so sorry that I told you
- 1:09:45you were going to get to do that and we didn't get to, you know,
- 1:09:48it's like, you know, treat your humans the way I mean, I see
- 1:09:52this to Eric a lot. Like if we actually treated each
- 1:09:54other sometimes a little bit more, like we're trying to teach
- 1:09:57our, treat our kids, we probably communicate better, you know,
- 1:10:02because it's like we're all, you know, we are.
- 1:10:05Yeah. And we have to just be so
- 1:10:07graceful with ourselves. You know, I think at the end of
- 1:10:09the day it's there's so much pressure out there.
- 1:10:11And I I say, you know, if you can't use social media or your
- 1:10:15devices or things like that as means to inspire you, then get
- 1:10:20rid of it. You know, get rid of it.
- 1:10:22If there's stuff that you just, you know, taking the life out of
- 1:10:24you, comparing yourself, making yourself feel less than, do not
- 1:10:28look at it. Do not, do not be a part of it.
- 1:10:31You know it is. I just finished reading this
- 1:10:34book. Change Your Paradigm, Change
- 1:10:36Your Life by Bob Proctor, 85 year old, very wise man.
- 1:10:40And I learn I I get so many amazing resources by being in
- 1:10:45the new Hollywood which is also Brianna's created this
- 1:10:48incredible guide book called Manifesting Your Mission and
- 1:10:52we're doing a retreat together this weekend in Sonoma.
- 1:10:55I'm so excited on Saturday, and Brianna's coming up for it, and
- 1:10:58she's going to share a lot of that wisdom that I've been
- 1:11:01benefiting from since 2015 since I joined the group.
- 1:11:04And that's another tool, you know, that really helps me as a
- 1:11:08mom. Stay creative stay excited stay
- 1:11:12focused on things that I want to create and do and and and I
- 1:11:18value it so much because as a Mama it's so easy to like Oh my
- 1:11:23gosh I have like now that my kids are both in activities I I
- 1:11:26forget to even like a lot time that I'm driving back and forth
- 1:11:29from those things. And that is time that I'm not
- 1:11:32actually going to be writing today or that's time that I
- 1:11:33won't actually be able to get on the peloton or whatever it is
- 1:11:36you know. But it's it's become just a
- 1:11:39really valuable tool for me to use as well as I've made the
- 1:11:42shift into motherhood to take my year condense it month by month
- 1:11:47by month down into the weeks down into the days.
- 1:11:49And I mean, everything is in my calendar and it's if it's not in
- 1:11:53the calendar, like Brianna says, it won't get done.
- 1:11:55So. So it's been a really useful
- 1:11:58tool though, you know, to help keep me on track and like you
- 1:12:01say, you know, confident and giving yourself grace And you
- 1:12:05know, at the end of each month I do a thing where it's like I I
- 1:12:08write down what my kids met moments were, what my hurdles
- 1:12:11were, what my obstacles, my blessings.
- 1:12:13And you start to see the repetition and writing that
- 1:12:15stuff is good. And that's what brings me back
- 1:12:17to the Bob Proctor material. He's so much about repetition
- 1:12:23and about, you know, as we learn lines, like we study them over
- 1:12:26and over again. Right.
- 1:12:27Right. Well, what kind of things are we
- 1:12:28telling ourselves daily? You know, what kind of things
- 1:12:31are we feeding our brain? We have to reprogram ourselves a
- 1:12:33lot because someone said something to us once that really
- 1:12:38hurt. And we hear that over and over
- 1:12:40again. We'll get that out of the way
- 1:12:42and replace it with something new that you believe in.
- 1:12:45You know, I mean, I've been writing 10 gratitudes a day
- 1:12:47since January and writing them. And Brianna had told me one of
- 1:12:51our coach and she said, look, if you can't write it just at least
- 1:12:54like go through while you're brushing your teeth.
- 1:12:55And I'm like, no, it almost feels odd now If I don't write
- 1:12:58them, I love writing them. And and then I write one phrase
- 1:13:02down. It's just like a seed that I'm
- 1:13:04trying to plant for myself. It's like a an affirmation.
- 1:13:07And I'm just becoming such a good believer in that kind of
- 1:13:12work, you know, really planting the repetition of who you want
- 1:13:16to be. Who do you want to show up?
- 1:13:17Like, I'm a late person. I can't stand that I'm a late
- 1:13:20person, but you know what I am? I am an early person.
- 1:13:23I'm telling myself I'm an early person.
- 1:13:25And Bob Proctor even says every person should take an acting
- 1:13:28class at some point because if you can't be what you're trying
- 1:13:32to be, you better start telling yourself you are so that it it
- 1:13:36it you evolve into it, you know. And so I I'm just, I love his
- 1:13:41material and I read the book three times in a row.
- 1:13:43There's some really good stuff. And Doctor Amon too, Daniel Amon
- 1:13:47with there's a book called You Happier, which I have found to
- 1:13:49be incredibly profound. But a lot of this comes from
- 1:13:52Brianna's work that she does and shares these incredible tools
- 1:13:55and resources. And I'm just a grateful man
- 1:13:58because they're helping me, helping me all through the life.
- 1:14:03Well then I guess that would be your answer for my last
- 1:14:07question, unless you have something in addition of what
- 1:14:11has been your your lifesaver at the moment.
- 1:14:15Oh my gosh. I would probably say just the
- 1:14:23Yeah, I mean, it truly gets my family.
- 1:14:26I mean, they are my lifesaver, You know, all it takes is really
- 1:14:30getting present and grounded with my family to know that
- 1:14:35everything is okay. You know, there's so many tools
- 1:14:39and other things I can access as resources to help me.
- 1:14:42But the end of the day, when I am like, at dinner and sitting
- 1:14:45around the table and I have my 1 1/2 year old folding her little
- 1:14:48hands to remind us that we're about to do gratitudes before we
- 1:14:51eat. I know that I'm doing something
- 1:14:53right, you know, and my husband and as a partnership, we're
- 1:14:56collectively doing something right.
- 1:14:59And and I can just, you know, it.
- 1:15:02It really does change. Like, if you can sit in
- 1:15:04gratitude, it will shift your energy immediately.
- 1:15:08You know, and I mean, Bobby, it's Bob Proctor.
- 1:15:11He's like he says, you know, if you're angry at someone, send
- 1:15:14them good energy because it does you no good to have the bad
- 1:15:17energy about them. And it's right.
- 1:15:19So, you know, it's it's all stuff we know.
- 1:15:22We know it. It's about execution and
- 1:15:25repeating and doing these things because they serve us well over
- 1:15:28and over again. So yeah, my lifesaver is truly
- 1:15:30getting grounded and present with my family and and mostly
- 1:15:34gratitude just feeling what I'm so grateful for.
- 1:15:37Yeah. Yeah, that's amazing.
- 1:15:41Well, I love seeing your, your girls and your beautiful life
- 1:15:48from, I mean through Instagram as a positive thing.
- 1:15:52It is so nice to to see everything and I'm glad you're
- 1:15:56doing so well and I appreciate. You talking with me and and
- 1:16:02being on the podcast, it's it's been so great talking to you.
- 1:16:06I know. Like I said, mom, time is very
- 1:16:09precious. So I appreciate it so much.
- 1:16:12Of course. Oh my gosh.
- 1:16:13And congratulations on your podcast and bringing light to
- 1:16:17this, this energy of, like moms who are doing a lot.

- 1:16:36And thank you. I feel honored that you asked me
- 1:16:38to be on. I know we talked about it, I
- 1:16:40think, before Audrey was born. And now it's like a year, you
- 1:16:43know, two later and she's here and got to do it and share a
- 1:16:46little bit more. So thank you.
- 1:16:48Thank you so much. And I wish you and your little
- 1:16:50baby girl so well too. And that's our episode.
