- 0:02Hey, guys. Welcome to the basement.
- 0:04Welcome to the live stream. I'm doing this through a hard
- 0:07wired CAT5 cable, so I hopefully won't have as many audio
- 0:11disruptions. I apologize to you for what's
- 0:14been happening over the last few days.
- 0:16Let's hopefully see that this works better.
- 0:18It's quick live stream, but we've got a lot to cover.
- 0:21There's so much going on. We're going to talk about the
- 0:24gold and silver price, of course, But but what's the big
- 0:29news out of Goldman Sachs that has everything to do with gold
- 0:32and silver? And what did Reuters tell us
- 0:36about the Swift system and CBD CS?
- 0:40That should have us shaking in our boots?
- 0:43Let's get started right away. I'm mad.
- 0:45Are you mad? Are you tired of the last few
- 0:48days? The COMEX or the LBMA?
- 0:51Whoever the paper traders, the manipulators, they're up to
- 0:55their old tricks. If you noticed about 8:30 AM
- 0:59Eastern Time the last few days, and we've talked about this a
- 1:03lot in the past, the price of gold up like $18.00 and then in
- 1:08the matter of like 10 or 15 minutes smashed down.
- 1:12But they're having a hard time smashing it down too far.
- 1:15And I think in the end we're going to see, do you think?
- 1:19I mean, we know it's happening. We're going to see right,
- 1:22continued levitation within the silver and gold price.
- 1:27And what about the stock market? Are you ready for a stock market
- 1:30crash? I was thinking this morning like
- 1:33everything in the market, the general markets, the S&P 500,
- 1:37the NASDAQ, right, record highs, record highs.
- 1:40I keep hearing about guys, it is a big Unicorn party going on a
- 1:46Unicorn fart dust party. What whatever you want to call
- 1:49it, make believe, funny money, magic money.
- 1:53You know, I was thinking about the stocks like some of these
- 1:55big tech stocks like Apple and Tesla and you know the list goes
- 1:59on and on. NVIDIA right?
- 2:02These things are so crazy richly valued over valued.
- 2:09You know, when you look at like the price to earnings ratio,
- 2:12just so you know, like if a company has a a 41 price to
- 2:17earnings ratio or even a 25 price to earnings ratio, which
- 2:22is pretty normal right now for a company in the S&P 500.
- 2:26That means, right. That means that it would take 25
- 2:30years of pure profit being returned to investors just for
- 2:35them to break even at current prices.
- 2:38It's absolutely crazy. And it's even crazier when you
- 2:41compare what value you get for each dollar that you put into a
- 2:46lot of these stocks that are so overvalued right now.
- 2:50I'm telling you, a lot of times for every dollar you put in to
- 2:53the S&P 500, you're lucky to be getting $0.20 of assets of real
- 3:00assets after you back out the debt.
- 3:02So I don't care what they say, the stock market in general is
- 3:06overvalued. But I would like to throw in
- 3:08that is not the case in the precious metal mining stock
- 3:11sector where we see all time record under valuations, the Hui
- 3:18index when compared, the Huey index, Huey to gold index, our
- 3:22Huey to gold ratio, I'm sorry, it's a ratio comparing the
- 3:26biggest mining companies to the price of gold.
- 3:29It's near an all time low and often times for every dollar
- 3:33that you put into a precious metal mining stock, you're
- 3:36getting at least the dollar and in some cases even more in
- 3:40assets. It's the exact opposite of what
- 3:43we're seeing in the general markets and especially within
- 3:47the tech sector. So I don't care what they say,
- 3:49it's getting crazy out there. Let's talk about Goldman Sachs
- 3:52quickly. What are they telling us about
- 3:55gold that should have all of us very, very happy?
- 3:59We have an article here from hold on a second, make sure we
- 4:03got this right. Here we go.
- 4:05This is from Yahoo Finance Gold's record March higher set
- 4:10to continue, Goldman says. These are our friends at Goldman
- 4:15Sachs who we we are liking right now.
- 4:18Gold's roughly 8% month to date. Rally has room to grow with the
- 4:22precious metal poised to hit $2300.00 an ounce by year end,
- 4:27according to Goldman Sachs analyst.
- 4:29OK, there was something interesting later on in this
- 4:32article. Basically they're saying that's
- 4:34because the Fed's going to lower rates, which I don't necessarily
- 4:38agree with. I think gold is going higher and
- 4:42rates are not going to have to come down.
- 4:44What's going higher are inflation is going higher and
- 4:48the price of gold and the price of our best friend silver.
- 4:53All right, Goldman analysts upgraded their average gold
- 4:57price forecast for 2024 from 2090 to 2180 per oz, targeting a
- 5:04move to 2300 by the end of the year.
- 5:10Hold on. They're talking about the
- 5:11possibility of another geopolitical surprise, a
- 5:16substantive retracement. Lower will likely be limited by
- 5:20resilience in physical buying channels.
- 5:23OK, citing Chinese imports, right?
- 5:26The Chinese are buying gold like crazy.
- 5:30But there was something else in here.
- 5:31Here we go. Bullion's price increases have
- 5:34been disconnected from recent outflows seen in gold related
- 5:38ETFs. Strategists believe investors
- 5:40have been rotating money into Bitcoin ETFs as the token roared
- 5:45toward new record highs earlier this month.
- 5:47Central banks have been buying up gold at historic levels,
- 5:51helping drive up the the demand for the last couple of years.
- 5:54OK, they say. None the less, in the midterm we
- 5:58continue to hold a constructive view on gold, underpinned by
- 6:02eventual Fed easing, which, this is interesting, should crucially
- 6:08reactivate the largely dormant ETF buying.
- 6:13Yes, we have had ETF buying in the in the in the toilet guys.
- 6:19I mean there's no other way to say it, right.
- 6:20And it's actually a good thing. There's a silver lining pardon
- 6:24the pun to all this that nobody retail investor wise has been
- 6:28buying gold. But when that changes, that
- 6:32offers so much runway for improvement, so much runway for
- 6:37more money coming into the gold sector.
- 6:40And you know exactly what that's going to do to the silver price
- 6:45as well. What about the big eclipse?
- 6:47We've got people. What is it?
- 6:49April 8th? There's an eclipse.
- 6:51You know, I remember the last eclipse.
- 6:52My daughters had just started kindergarten.
- 6:55So it would have been like September, October, probably of
- 6:582017, if I have that right. 2017, 2018 vote.
- 7:03We went up to their kindergarten and watch.
- 7:04It is freaky to be in a in a total eclipse but they're
- 7:10warning right Like we're getting these doomsday warnings like the
- 7:14cell phones aren't going to work, Stock up on food, stock up
- 7:18on medicine and some of the these are just theories that I'm
- 7:21hearing being floated around. But people are starting to
- 7:24really kind of stir up a lot of fur surrounding this eclipse.
- 7:30I don't know what you think. Thank you Ron McAdams for the
- 7:32Super chat. Super appreciate.
- 7:34And by the way, thank you for being here.
- 7:37Please give this a thumbs up. You are the most important part
- 7:40of this channel of this live stream.
- 7:42So it's a big deal when you decide to give us some of your
- 7:46time and join us basement. Well there's 150 of us at
- 7:50lunchtime on a what what is today, Wednesday.
- 7:53Wednesday. I think it is none the less.
- 7:55Guys, what do you think is going to happen with this eclipse?
- 8:00Are you freaked out about it? Right.
- 8:01Everybody's making a big deal. The eclipse.
- 8:04And it could be, you know, I don't know, like a Black Swan.
- 8:08It's expected, I guess it's going to be a Black Swan, right?
- 8:11Everything does go dark. Oh, I'll never forget sitting up
- 8:15in our daughter's elementary school, Susie and I.
- 8:17And they came out with their kindergarten class.
- 8:19They were only like a week or two.
- 8:21It was very. I'll never forget.
- 8:24I'm not going to tear up and cry, but I could, I'll tell you,
- 8:27because we were sitting there and we sat with the girls and
- 8:29then they had to go back to school.
- 8:31They had to get in line. And I remember I'm getting in
- 8:34this line and I thought, oh, they're like little soldiers or
- 8:38something. I don't know if I like this,
- 8:39right. And watching them walk back into
- 8:42their school and their line and man, time flies.
- 8:48Now they're in middle school, right?
- 8:49Always savor all these moments we have and we'll savor this
- 8:53moment together here as well. None the less, Copper, let's
- 8:57talk about copper. Everybody's talking about
- 8:58copper. All of a sudden it's maybe not
- 9:00officially a precious metal, but there's a big relationship
- 9:04between copper and silver. Let's just look at this real
- 9:07quickly to bring you so you're on top of things.
- 9:10You want to know what's going on, huh?
- 9:12Look at this from Reuters. Funds Stampede into copper as
- 9:19price breaks higher in London. Fund managers have rushed to buy
- 9:23copper after the price broke up out of its one year trading
- 9:27range earlier this month. Activity has surged on all three
- 9:31global exchange exchanges as money managers lifting bullish
- 9:35bets on both the London Metals Exchange and the CME, also known
- 9:40as the Comex. If I have that correct copper
- 9:43contracts market open. Interest on the Shanghai Futures
- 9:46Exchange has jumped to life of contract highs.
- 9:50So copper is taking off. Again, this is all part of the
- 9:55big commodity supercycle that we're hearing.
- 9:59So, uh, oh, are you there? There we go.
- 10:03So many people talk about. And part of that commodity
- 10:06supercycle is silver, gold and platinum.
- 10:10OK, so things are moving. Copper's moving now.
- 10:13I got to admit, the 1 copper stock that I own, Brixton
- 10:16Metals, it's down like 12% today.
- 10:19I was like, woohoo, Copper's finally getting a roll.
- 10:21Brixton's going to get going. No.
- 10:25You ever had that happen in life?
- 10:27You ever had that happen When you own something, whether it's
- 10:30silver or gold or maybe a stock that you buy and it's like when
- 10:35you buy it, it's almost automatic.
- 10:38That within the next week you could have bought it for a lot
- 10:40cheaper. And it's.
- 10:42I'm telling you, I'm telling you, I'm just being honest.
- 10:44I'm not perfect. I've gotten better at this, but
- 10:47I always sold stocks too soon when they took off and we really
- 10:50got to be careful. And we're talking about silver
- 10:53and gold physical. It relates to that as well.
- 10:56It's so easy to sell too soon when things start taking off,
- 11:00right? How many of.
- 11:02I mean, you know you're not alone.
- 11:03I'll tell you, you're not alone if you're out there thinking,
- 11:06yeah, I sold the stock XYZ stock, and then like 3 weeks
- 11:12later it doubled in price. It happens to all of us.
- 11:14Nobody's perfect. Nobody can perfectly time the
- 11:17market. But it's interesting that we
- 11:21want to keep our eyes on what's going on with copper because
- 11:24copper does have a relationship, right, to oil.
- 11:28Copper does have a relationship to the silver market and the
- 11:32gold market as well, and things are starting to heat up in the
- 11:36copper market. What else do we have here?
- 11:39Oh, hey, let's talk about it, baby.
- 11:42Right. Why?
- 11:43What are what's one of the big reasons why we hold silver and
- 11:46gold, right? Because they are the last
- 11:48bastion of privacy, privacy, financial privacy.
- 11:52As we move into a CBDC world, we need to talk.
- 11:57See, we haven't talked about CBDC's in probably a month, but
- 12:00there's a big story out of Reuters about what's going on
- 12:02with the Swift banking system that needs our attention.
- 12:07But first, if you want to get your hands on some silver, gold,
- 12:10or platinum, do yourself a favor.
- 12:12Check out channel sponsor Pimbex, Pi MB, E, xpimbex.com
- 12:18online bullion dealer right. You'll find, you'll find, but
- 12:23you need to find this out for yourself that they are wonderful
- 12:27to work with. Read reviews, right?
- 12:29That's what I did before I worked with them.
- 12:31You'll also find they have great selection and their prices are
- 12:36always ultra competitive. My experience almost always the
- 12:41absolute best prices out there. So it's the company I can trust
- 12:44with great prices. Hey, I'm all up for getting more
- 12:48metal for my money. You can check out the the
- 12:52company for yourself. pinbex.com Thank you Pinbex for sponsoring
- 12:56Ron's Basement. Let's talk about what's going on
- 12:58here. Let's go to another article.
- 13:01I believe this one is from Reuters.
- 13:04Yes, another Reuters. Thank you, Reuters for all your
- 13:07contributions today. The SWIFT planning launch of new
- 13:12central bank digital currency platform in one to two years, 12
- 13:18to 24 months. I misspoke there.
- 13:20OK, why is this a big deal? We're going to get into that
- 13:24global banking messaging network.
- 13:26SWIFT is planning a new platform in the next one to two years to
- 13:30connect the wave of central bank digital currencies now in
- 13:34development to the existing financial system, it has told
- 13:38Reuters. Go back and read that that
- 13:40paragraph again guys. That tells us everything.
- 13:43The move, which would be one of the most significant yet for the
- 13:47nascent CBDC ecosystem given Swift's key role in global
- 13:52banking, is likely to be fine-tuned when the first major
- 13:56CBD CS are launched. What is going on?
- 13:59Reuters is telling us that SWIFT, which is the West, the
- 14:03United States Basic International Banking System,
- 14:08the system they use to conduct most all Internet.
- 14:11Like Russia got kicked out of SWIFT, right?
- 14:15Countries get kicked out of SWIFT.
- 14:18Reuters is telling us that it's basically preparing the system
- 14:23to work in a new CBDC platform environment.
- 14:27Let me remind you of a couple things.
- 14:29OK? Silver and gold are the last
- 14:31bastions of financial privacy. That's it.
- 14:35Because when we go to CBD, CS, everything that you do outside
- 14:40of of silver and gold is going to be tracked.
- 14:43Everything will have a record, everything will be tracked.
- 14:46There are, there are some cautionary tales, I guess you'll
- 14:51say. There are some people that are
- 14:53warning there's a range, right? I don't know where you fit in on
- 14:56this, but there's a lot of people who are very scared of
- 15:00what the new CBDC environment's going to look like.
- 15:03Look, I'm not trying to scare you, I'm not trying to create a
- 15:08a fur, a fear environment or anything like that.
- 15:13But, but we know that the central banks, right, have a
- 15:17history of, let's say, not looking out for always the best
- 15:23interest of the common citizen. I mean, can we say that?
- 15:26I think we can say that, right? I think, I think unfortunately
- 15:29that has been the case. Statistically speaking, they'll
- 15:32say that they're looking out for the common man, but the reality
- 15:36is they destroy the lower, lower, middle and even middle
- 15:40class with inflation and money printing while the ultra wealthy
- 15:45have done ultra great. Right?
- 15:48If you're if you're one of the, if you're the richest guy, what
- 15:51the one guy out of 1000? You own 50% of the world's
- 15:55assets now of the United States assets.
- 15:57But the average man has been suffering.
- 16:00So why would the CBDC situation make things any different?
- 16:04Some of the things that people are afraid of tracking all of
- 16:07your financial transactions, the potential, OK, the potential
- 16:12because we hear stories that this is the case in China where
- 16:16they've rolled out of CBDC. But the potential that this new
- 16:21CBDC monetary system could actually control how, when and
- 16:26on what you spend your money. I've even heard some people put
- 16:30forth the the idea that that like you could get money
- 16:34deposited into your account, but it would have like a time limit
- 16:38on it. Like you have to spend this by,
- 16:40you know, like if you buy a gift card that expires after six
- 16:43months. So it the, the, the, the the
- 16:46prospects of what we could be seeing with this are quite,
- 16:49quite scary. You know, they could control you
- 16:51hear these stories, right. I'm not saying that I I believe
- 16:56this absolutely is going to happen.
- 16:58But you hear stories that like they can control.
- 17:02Like if you bought a steak on Monday and enjoyed it and
- 17:05decided on Thursday that you want to eat another steak, that
- 17:08you would go to the grocery store and try to buy that second
- 17:10steak and they'd say, sorry, you know, you're not allowed to buy
- 17:132 steaks during a week because beef production is bad for the
- 17:16environment. There's all types of, you know,
- 17:19controlling when you travel where you can travel to.
- 17:24Again, these are. I'm not presenting to you that
- 17:28this is absolutely what the system would look like.
- 17:32That's kind of the, oh, worst case ideas that have been that
- 17:38are being thrown around out there.
- 17:40But we do know. Thank you, Cliff.
- 17:42Tom, thank you my friend for the Super chat.
- 17:46We do know I think that at minimum it would give the
- 17:49government more control over the monetary system.
- 17:53And guys, you're a silver investor, what does that mean
- 17:55for you? You're a gold, physical gold
- 17:57investor. What does that mean for you?
- 17:59That means that whatever silver you might be holding, you
- 18:02probably have a piece that you could reach out and touch right
- 18:04now, right that is outside of the grasp of this CBDC
- 18:09environment. Now we're even seeing with some
- 18:12of the legal tender legislation that's being passed and being
- 18:17worked through the legislative system in a number of states
- 18:20around the United States. Some of them are putting in anti
- 18:24CBDC type legislation. So it's going to be, man, the
- 18:28next 10 years. I mean, do you feel it?
- 18:30It's going to be like, absolutely crazy.
- 18:33Thank you. Eat healthy and try the
- 18:34elimination diet. It tells tales.
- 18:37OK, everybody keeps Thank you Chris, for the Super chat and
- 18:41thank you for your e-mail earlier.
- 18:43And yes, everybody talks about the elimination diet.
- 18:46When I get time, I'm going to read about it, 'cause you know
- 18:48what? But really, what's more
- 18:50important than anything to you or to me or any of us, you know,
- 18:54our health, right? Our families and our health.
- 18:56So thank you so much. Interesting point.
- 18:59You may not have heard of this. The tech insiders are selling
- 19:03their stock at a faster rate right now than anytime, excuse
- 19:07me, in the last three years. Yeah, the big boys at the tech
- 19:13companies are abandoning ship. And let's just talk about
- 19:16Silver. I heard this presented yesterday
- 19:20and I thought I got to share this with the people.
- 19:22I got to share this as well. Here's our newest member of the
- 19:26basement community. I think we need to come up with
- 19:28a name for this guy. Isn't he cool?
- 19:33Look, he's like AI don't know Crystal or something.
- 19:36I think this guy, I think he used to work at the COMEX.
- 19:38Possibly. I'm not sure.
- 19:40Anyway, my dad gave me that. I was over this morning for the
- 19:44last four hours doing my parents taxes.
- 19:47I do have a degree in accounting.
- 19:49That's why when I'm talking to you about these financial
- 19:51statements, I'm not bragging, but I know what I'm talking
- 19:54about. Like a musician can read music,
- 19:56I can read financial statements, and I can tell you about things
- 20:00like valuations. But nonetheless, I'm driving
- 20:03home from my mom and dad's. They live about 20 miles away.
- 20:05Wonderful people. They're in their 80s.
- 20:07Wonderful, wonderful people. And I'd let me ask you a
- 20:10question. I don't know.
- 20:11Am I the only guy that thinks like this, 'cause they live in
- 20:14kind of the newer part of Saint Louis, where there's a lot of
- 20:16new home construction still going on.
- 20:18And I'm driving down the highway and I drive by this new
- 20:20neighborhood. This was a floodplain, OK?
- 20:23And they filled it in with concrete and filled dirt over
- 20:27the last, I don't know how many years, probably five years, I'd
- 20:30go see it happening. And then it's like a big flat
- 20:33area. And now they're building these
- 20:34houses and I'm driving by and I'm like, it looks like a bunch
- 20:37of plastic boxes. I'm sorry.
- 20:39And they're all right next to each other.
- 20:41And they're nice houses. And I know, 'cause I went online
- 20:44and looked, these things start at 600,000 dollars, $600,000.
- 20:49I almost said per year, no, $600,000.
- 20:52And I'm driving and I'm thinking, how can that be?
- 20:56How can a plastic box on top of a bunch of scrap concrete and
- 21:00dirt fill dirt? How can that be worth 6?
- 21:03And then I thought about this. Think about this 600 grand.
- 21:06I thought that's like one man or woman, one construction worker,
- 21:11right? That makes 50 KA year spending
- 21:1512 years. And that's not if we don't even
- 21:17tax them, that's 12 years of their work to build one of these
- 21:21plastic boxes. I'm like, I don't see it.
- 21:24I don't see the value there. It's out of whack.
- 21:26Who can afford this anyway, right?
- 21:28Who can afford starting that? Most of the houses probably cost
- 21:31800,000. I know a lot of you probably
- 21:34live in areas where a million's nothing for a house.
- 21:37This is Saint Louis, the armpit of the country.
- 21:39We love it. We love how it smells here in
- 21:42Saint Louis. I love Saint Louis.
- 21:44OK, I'm not. I joke around, but I do.
- 21:45I love my city. But houses are cheap.
- 21:48Houses is cheap. Houses are cheap.
- 21:51I do have a degree in college from a university.
- 21:54Houses are cheap. How can it?
- 21:57I mean, 12 years of one man's work equivalent for this plastic
- 22:01box. You know, a bunch of pine sticks
- 22:03with some plastic strapped on it.
- 22:05That doesn't make any sense. I digress.
- 22:07Today. OK, silver, that's what you're
- 22:08here for. Basement dwellers.
- 22:10And thank you guys for the thumbs up.
- 22:11We got 300 people, 300 basement dwellers.
- 22:15Let's get the let's get get it at 300.
- 22:17Susie's going to yell at me when we get to 100 thumbs up and I'm
- 22:20going to ring that bell for you. The thumbs up helps get the word
- 22:23out to more people. Thank you for the Super chats.
- 22:27Thank you for all the packages you guys have been sending me.
- 22:30I got a pocket pinger in the mail today.
- 22:32When I go to work tonight, I'm on my break at work.
- 22:36I'm going to read about the pocket pinger.
- 22:38Very interesting. Silver.
- 22:41Oh, let's look at a piece of silver.
- 22:43What do you say, huh? Let's look at let's look at this
- 22:47from Silvershire. Something about the coloring on
- 22:50this. I love this.
- 22:53For those of you who aren't aware, that's what.
- 22:55Look at that. That's what you want to own?
- 22:59OK, Bell time. All right, Susie's yelling at
- 23:03me. Do I have the walkie?
- 23:05Susie, are you there on the walkie?
- 23:08OK? Nope.
- 23:09She's yelling at me from upstairs.
- 23:12This is the bell. This is for you. 100 thumbs up.
- 23:15Ten Rings of the Bell 12345678910 Sorry, I forgot to
- 23:22warn you. If you don't like the bell, the
- 23:24mute, mute your microphone, Mute your microphone.
- 23:29And don't forget guys, look if it really is the end of the
- 23:31world when the eclipse happens, it's been great knowing you, OK?
- 23:36It really has made a lot of great friends.
- 23:38You are important. You love your silver.
- 23:40Let's talk about silver though. I have some data for you. 16 to
- 23:461 is what silver exists in the ground in relation to gold.
- 23:52For if you take the whole crust of the earth, there's 16 ounces
- 23:56of silver for each one ounce of gold.
- 23:58Now nobody could tell us more about that than our friends at
- 24:02First Mining Gold Channel sponsor.
- 24:04They have two multi million ounce projects in Canada.
- 24:07You can learn more about them at firstmininggold.com and Fortuna
- 24:11Silver. They can tell you about both
- 24:13because they mine right now. 5 operating mines mining both gold
- 24:19and silver. You can learn more about Fortuna
- 24:22at fortunasilver.com. So there's on the whole earth.
- 24:27Isn't that crazy? I often tell people where I
- 24:29work, they look at me a little cross eyed and say you know, and
- 24:32I work there complaining. I'm like, you know, at the end
- 24:34of the day we're on a rock that's flying around a burning
- 24:38ball of gas, right? Earth is a rock and it's flying
- 24:41around a burning ball of gas. That would be the sun.
- 24:43But if you take that rock that you and I, we share this rock
- 24:47together, and you take all the silver and all the gold and suck
- 24:51it out of the ground, there should be about 16 times more
- 24:54silver than gold. Did you know that?
- 24:57You probably did. But I got more.
- 24:59Don't you worry. OK?
- 25:01What's interesting, very interesting is that right now,
- 25:06right now, right now, baby, right as you and I are on this
- 25:09live stream, silver and gold are being mined out of this rock
- 25:13that we live on. But for every one ounce of gold
- 25:17that comes out of the ground by mining companies, only 7 ounces
- 25:22of silver come up. A lot of people say that's
- 25:25because you know silver, the easy silver is up close to the
- 25:29surface. Most all the easy silvers.
- 25:32Bye, bye. Gone.
- 25:33Gone right. It's all gone.
- 25:36So they're only getting 7 ounces of silver.
- 25:38What's even crazier? And I won't beat this, but it's
- 25:41something that has all of us basement dwell.
- 25:43There's no and love to remember is that I'm hearing different
- 25:48numbers. I hear 50%.
- 25:50What do you think? Is it 50 percent, 60%?
- 25:53Last night, I heard somebody say 70% of the silver that comes out
- 25:58of the ground now is, is is consumed by industry and silver
- 26:03still a precious metal. It's precious, right?
- 26:06It does. It makes no sense.
- 26:08OK, Christopher, I'm going to get back to silver.
- 26:13I saw a comment that said outhouse.
- 26:16OK, Well, I missed it already. Christopher Dubois.
- 26:19All right. Hey, thank you, guys.
- 26:21All right, hold on back to this. OK.
- 26:25On top of all that, on top of all this, don't forget most of
- 26:30the silver comes from Mexico. And guess what?
- 26:33Guess what, Mexico is outlying open pit mining.
- 26:39Where's the silver going to come from right now?
- 26:42It's coming out seven to one. Pretty soon it's going to be
- 26:44coming out at six to one or five to one relative to gold.
- 26:47OK. And we are over history, OK,
- 26:52think about this, over history. The gold to silver ratio, silver
- 26:57to gold ratio, however you want to say it, right.
- 26:59The price, which right now is near 90.
- 27:02Right now I'm I'm, I'm hearing authorities say that basically
- 27:05historically it's been closer to 15 to 1:00 and we have a
- 27:09shortage. Right now we have a shortage of
- 27:14silver really. OK And the price, well, it was
- 27:19up. Let's check here.
- 27:20You know what? Why don't we go on out, Bear
- 27:22with me. It's time for us to do a price
- 27:26check at Pinbex channel sponsor. OK.
- 27:32Hey, gold, guys, I'm going to refresh that.
- 27:37Gold is up almost $13. And silver.
- 27:40All right, we'll take it. Yes, we'll take it.
- 27:44Don't you just love silver? Look at that.
- 27:46You can get American Silver Eagles as low as 2935.
- 27:50That's probably if you buy like 500 of them.
- 27:53Let's just look curious what the price is to buy.
- 27:57Let's say always buy this way guys never buy silver.
- 28:03You do whatever you want. Just my opinion.
- 28:05But credit card you're always going to pay more and it's it's
- 28:10just trust me that's all I can say.
- 28:12Well that's if if you want my opinion, don't ever buy silver
- 28:16on a credit card. OK.
- 28:19But yeah you can buy 20. You can still buy A roll of
- 28:232024. These are, yes, American Silver
- 28:27Eagles for less than 30 bucks. Need I remind you that?
- 28:32Let's see. I just want to go.
- 28:33Look, I love 10 oz bars. Sorry.
- 28:36You guys want to go shopping with me?
- 28:38Let's go shopping. Let's see what they got here.
- 28:40Those were my all time favorites.
- 28:42Royal Canadian Mint bars in Stanbul.
- 28:45Those are cool. The pant bars are cool.
- 28:48So it looks like, wow, you can get a pant bar for $26 an ounce.
- 28:53Man, the premiums are so low right now.
- 28:56Hey, I have one of these 10 oz Britannia.
- 28:59Those are very nice bars. And I gave one of these away.
- 29:02Pembek sent me one of these Geiger bars, by far the
- 29:07prettiest 10 oz bar I've ever held.
- 29:10Very, very, very beautiful. So where was I?
- 29:16Oh, OK, so right now this is this is breaking news.
- 29:23OK? Right now, right now the gold to
- 29:26silver, silver to gold, everyone say it ratio is almost 90 to one
- 29:30in 2011, OK. The silver to gold, gold to
- 29:35silver ratio went all the way down to 30 to one.
- 29:40That would be like the silver price right now being $75 per
- 29:45oz. It will happen again.
- 29:48Let me ask you guys, let me ask you a question.
- 29:50I'm going to. I'm going to say it's going to
- 29:51happen in the next five years. OK.
- 29:55So I think that in the next five years, the lowest we'll get the
- 30:00silver to gold ratio will be 30. Why don't you put it in the
- 30:03chat. Tell us what you think.
- 30:05Scottsdales are very nice. Yes, absolutely.
- 30:08Garbage man 30. Oh, that's me both.
- 30:13I'm reading my own comments. Welcome to the fun House, Right,
- 30:16guys? Oh, boy.
- 30:23OK, blah blah. Michael says, Oh yeah, there was
- 30:30some. I I just want to state for the
- 30:32record that in regards to this, well, I'm, I'm just going to
- 30:36leave that all alone. I'm going to leave that all
- 30:38alone. OK, Shares are coming in the
- 30:41comment. OK.
- 30:44Anybody else have any? I'm curious, anybody else have
- 30:46any thoughts on a 40 to 1? Daniel Cassidy says 100 to 1.
- 30:52Craig says 41. Metal sear.
- 30:54Australia this past. Yeah, I've heard there's
- 30:57something going in on in Australia.
- 30:59Guys right now I know somewhere in this pile, right somewhere in
- 31:05this pile of papers. These are the papers.
- 31:07This is what I believe it or not.
- 31:08Prepare for these live streams over probably about three months
- 31:12worth. Was it Macquarie Bank?
- 31:15I don't know. Like the second biggest bank in
- 31:17Australia was basically outline cash.
- 31:21Like the only way you could get cash from this bank is to
- 31:25withdraw and they limited how much you could out of an ATM.
- 31:29They weren't going to let, if I remember this correctly, they
- 31:31weren't going to let people deposit cash at the branches,
- 31:35they weren't going to let people withdraw cash at the at the at
- 31:38the branches and you weren't going to be able to deposit.
- 31:42I was weird and it was like the biggest bank or the second
- 31:45biggest bank in Australia. So there's a lot it's that's
- 31:48kind of faded away. If you notice that this whole
- 31:51CBDC thing, I mean it seemed like 6 months a year ago, it was
- 31:56a lot more interest surrounding it.
- 31:59That is, you know that is the Fiat of Fiat I talked about the
- 32:04the big tech stocks being the, you know the Unicorn fart dust
- 32:08on top of the Unicorn fight. I mean these these big tech
- 32:11stocks, their valuations are crazy.
- 32:14But on top of that we're valuing it in dollars, which is make
- 32:18believe funny money, right. And I think the CBDC is the same
- 32:22thing can be said completely digital.
- 32:25I mean well, hey, yeah, let's make some more.
- 32:27Sure type the keys right. Let's make more, let's make
- 32:30more. It's going to be interesting.
- 32:32It's going to be interesting how the crypto world fits in with or
- 32:36is possibly at odds with the the CBDC world as things come
- 32:41through. So you know we'll see how it
- 32:44plays out. It's going to be very, very
- 32:46interesting. Yes, I do believe that in the
- 32:49next five years we could see the gold to silver ratio hit 30 and
- 32:55I'll call it the gold to silver ratio.
- 32:57I was wrong. I kept calling it the silver to
- 32:59gold because it said you need 90 ounces of silver to get one
- 33:01ounce of gold. But they call it the gold to
- 33:04silver ratio because you take the gold price and that's the
- 33:08numerator and you divide it by the denominator, which is the
- 33:12silver price. And that's how you get the
- 33:14ratio, which right now you divide what, 2180 for gold
- 33:19divided by $25 for silver and you're going to get something in
- 33:22the high 80s. I think that'll get to 30.
- 33:25And if we were at 30 right now, we would have $70.00 silver and
- 33:30that's where silver does it feel like to you that's where silver
- 33:33should be right now look at all those numbers we just went over,
- 33:37right. It's 16 to one in the earth's
- 33:40crust. It's harder to find because
- 33:43they're only get it out of the ground.
- 33:45It's 7:00 to 1:00 and then that 7 to one, they get out.
- 33:48Sixty 5070, whatever it is, percent of it gets consumed by
- 33:53industry and that's growing. And you're going to tell me it
- 33:57really is the most undervalued asset on the face of the earth.
- 34:01Maybe they're telling us the truth, right?
- 34:03You know, look, I could be wrong, right?
- 34:05Maybe we're going to see 14. Could you imagine $14.00 silver?
- 34:10Can you imagine any real asset in this Fiat cluster bomb in
- 34:15which we're living right now? Any way, shape or form that are
- 34:19you? You're going to value your
- 34:20silver against paper dollars. You're going to value your
- 34:24silver against electronic CBDC money.
- 34:28It doesn't. There's no comparison, right?
- 34:30Take a take, take 3 ounces of silver and hold it in your hand.
- 34:34And then your other hand put a $100 bill and close your eyes,
- 34:39right? And then look at them.
- 34:40Look at the beauty, even look at the amount of energy that went
- 34:44into getting that silver out of the ground.
- 34:47How much energy do you think it takes to make the print $100
- 34:50bill? I got news for it.
- 34:52It's not a lot, right? There's no comparison.
- 34:55OK, No comparison. Hey, guys, thank you for joining
- 34:58me today. My plan is to be back on
- 35:00tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm interviewing David
- 35:02Morgan from the Morgan Report. I'm really looking forward to
- 35:06that. David, I got a bunch of big
- 35:08interviews coming up. Keith Newmeyer, David Morgan.
- 35:13David is a David Anderson, a man.
- 35:16No, I'm screwing up his name. But the guy who puts out a video
- 35:20every week from SD bullion. I've got all, I've got a whole
- 35:26slew of really great people that are going to be coming on the
- 35:30channel that we're going to be doing interviews with.
- 35:32So look forward that George Jordan, Roy Burnroy from the
- 35:38Daily Gold Report. I mean just some really fun
- 35:41people coming up should have some great information, some
- 35:44great perspective. I mean, David Morgan, David
- 35:47Morgan, by the way. Lynette Zang thinks Bitcoin to
- 35:50condition us. Very interesting metal sear.
- 35:54I'll tell you what I think in a second.
- 35:57But David Morgan, that was the guy who called the high in the
- 36:01silver market back in 2011. And I've heard him say like he's
- 36:04taking some grief for that. So he's a silver bull, but but
- 36:09not afraid to say like when he thinks the markets got too
- 36:13frothy, too hot, but you know, super respected guy.
- 36:17So we're looking forward to that.
- 36:19Yeah, I know that metal sear, there's this idea that the
- 36:22crypto world was, was kind of and even in this article we read
- 36:27today right, that the Bitcoin ETFs are taking money out of the
- 36:32gold ETFs. You know, it's interesting.
- 36:36I, I don't know that I'll say and I'm not anti Bitcoin, I'm
- 36:40not anti crypto. I don't own any.
- 36:43So you know, I'll say that I don't own any Bitcoin, any
- 36:46crypto related investments, but I do.
- 36:51I will say this about Bitcoin. You know, my only, my only one
- 36:55of my. What I don't get about Bitcoin
- 36:58is we don't really know where it came from and or at least as far
- 37:02as I know, there's these theories about who made it, who
- 37:05invented it. And the other thing is that you
- 37:09know we share so much with the crypto in community in terms of
- 37:16our views of the monetary system, our our views, our views
- 37:21of the fiscal situation in the in the world right now.
- 37:25I think that that there we have a lot of common ground, but at
- 37:31the same time obviously there's can be some contention as well.
- 37:35So I just kind of let them be and I don't want to, you know, I
- 37:40don't want to bash anybody who knows, right.
- 37:43But, but one thing I'll say about Bitcoin is now that you
- 37:47know where the ETFs, the ETS kind of financialized Bitcoin,
- 37:52the big one of their big claims to fame was we exist completely
- 37:56outside of the traditional financial world, traditional
- 37:59financial system. And then, Oh yeah, but
- 38:02Blackrock's going to make a Bitcoin ETF.
- 38:05Fidelity. Whoever else made Black are
- 38:07going to make Bitcoin ETS. Didn't you just financialize
- 38:10yourself? So not too much different than
- 38:13when they launched the, you know, the futures contracts in
- 38:17the mid 70s for silver and gold and the Gold and silver ETS,
- 38:21which I think that was in the early 90s.
- 38:23So anyway, we'll see how all that plays out.
- 38:26Thank you guys for being here. OK.
- 38:28I'll look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
- 38:29Have a great day and thank you. Thank you.
- 38:32Thank you. Thank you to the moderators as
- 38:34well.
