- Pastor Justin: A lot surprised me. at the time it was not that safe of a place to visit. when I got there the first time, Joshua had arranged bodyguards to take care of us that had AK-47s. so Ken Peel: Yeah. Yes. Pastor Justin: that surprised me. And then I was in Nairobi that first night, I think, and on the news, some missionaries had been killed. And so Immediately I was, confronted with the reality that this is this is real deal mission work here and it's got real real life consequences. but then I mean there's there's so much in each area of Kenya is is a little different. but I was surprised by one, just how kind the people were, how loving the people were, and how open they were to hearing the gospel.
