- 1:21Speaker 1: wanted to say because Andrea won't say it. If you
- 1:24Speaker 1: guys miss missed our last episode, you missed a very
- 1:27Speaker 1: big announcement. But miss Andrea is pregnant with twins and
- 1:32Speaker 1: I am so excited for her. And I think I
- 1:36Speaker 1: was more excited to announce it on the podcast than
- 1:38Speaker 1: she was. Yeah, probably, But I just wanted to share
- 1:44Speaker 1: that in case you missed it at the end of
- 1:46Speaker 1: the last episode. So go congratulate Andrea on her Instagram
- 1:50Speaker 1: and you can see she says she's posting her gender
- 1:53Speaker 1: reveal this week, so I'm holding her to it.
- 1:57Speaker 3: It's a weird space to like crossover like your personal
- 2:00Speaker 3: life and your like professional life, you know. So I
- 2:04Speaker 3: felt a little weird about it, but I got like, again,
- 2:08Speaker 3: we got a lot of really nice comments and you know,
- 2:11Speaker 3: congratulatory comments and stuff, so that was really nice.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, we're very excited for her, So I just
- 2:19Speaker 1: wanted to share that. But we uh this case, this episode,
- 2:22Speaker 1: I think it's going to be a little bit shorter,
- 2:24Speaker 1: but I think it's really important to share this one.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Today I'm going to be covering the disappearance of Chance Engelbert,
- 2:31Speaker 1: and this one like has stuck with me for a while,
- 2:34Speaker 1: but lately a lot of people have been suggesting I
- 2:37Speaker 1: look into it. And when I first heard his name,
- 2:41Speaker 1: like the last few weeks, I was like, I can't
- 2:44Speaker 1: place that. But as soon as I looked him up
- 2:46Speaker 1: and saw his picture, I was like, oh, yep, I
- 2:49Speaker 1: remember that, and so he is a very distinct look
- 2:53Speaker 1: like rancher cowboy, yeah, cowboy so so yeah. I as
- 3:00Speaker 1: soon as I saw that picture, I was like, oh gosh, yes,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I remember him. I remember his story and it's pretty
- 3:05Speaker 1: I mean it's not like within the last year, but
- 3:08Speaker 1: it is still really recent and there he literally like
- 3:12Speaker 1: disappeared into thin air. So Chance Engelbert was born on
- 3:16Speaker 1: December third, nineteen ninety three, in Burdock, South Dakota. He
- 3:21Speaker 1: grew up with his two younger brothers, Miles and Clay,
- 3:23Speaker 1: on his family's ranch in Burdock. He loved to ride
- 3:27Speaker 1: horses and work on the ranch and he was very
- 3:31Speaker 1: very good at bareback riding, and he actually ended up
- 3:34Speaker 1: getting a college scholarship for bareback riding. So he went
- 3:38Speaker 1: to I don't know how if I'm gonna say this correct,
- 3:41Speaker 1: but it's Laramie, Laramie, I don't know, it's a it's
- 3:46Speaker 1: a college. So he went to this Laramie Larami County College.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And this was in Cheyenne, Wyoming, so not far from
- 3:54Speaker 1: where he grew up in South Dakota, but definitely like,
- 3:57Speaker 1: you know, not right in the same town.
- 4:00Speaker 2: So my case this week is in Wyoming too.
- 4:02Speaker 1: That's kind of weird. Oh my gosh, that's crazy. That's
- 4:06Speaker 1: so weird. If you couldn't tell, we don't always tell
- 4:09Speaker 1: each other what cases were covering. Yeah, that's kind of
- 4:12Speaker 1: like creepy.
- 4:13Speaker 2: They want each other to be surprised.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, So so yeah, he went to college and
- 4:19Speaker 1: was on a bare back writing scholarship and he got
- 4:21Speaker 1: a degree in diesel mechanics and welding. Chance's mom, Dawn,
- 4:26Speaker 1: describes him as hard working but shy, and said that
- 4:29Speaker 1: he's just an all around good kid. Chance met a
- 4:32Speaker 1: woman named Bailey through mutual friends who like did rodeos together.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I actually heard in one place that Bailey's like ex
- 4:41Speaker 1: boyfriend did rodeos with Chance, and then they ended up
- 4:44Speaker 1: like meeting and started talking. So they really started like
- 4:48Speaker 1: kind of becoming closer and started a relationship in October
- 4:51Speaker 1: of twenty seventeen, and then one year later, at twenty
- 4:55Speaker 1: five years old, Chance and Bailey got married. So Chance
- 4:58Speaker 1: was working at a line at the time, and shortly
- 5:02Speaker 1: after they got married, they moved to Morecraft, Wyoming. I've
- 5:06Speaker 1: seen some in some places say that Chance eventually wanted
- 5:09Speaker 1: to move back to be really close to his family's ranch,
- 5:12Speaker 1: but it just wasn't possible at the time with work,
- 5:14Speaker 1: so they moved to Morecraft, and again that wasn't very
- 5:17Speaker 1: far from where his parents lived. Bailey describes Chance as
- 5:22Speaker 1: her best friend, saying that their marriage was great from
- 5:25Speaker 1: the start. She said that they rarely argued and if
- 5:28Speaker 1: they did, it was resolved quickly. In May twenty nineteen,
- 5:32Speaker 1: Bailey and Chance welcomed their son, Banks to the world,
- 5:36Speaker 1: so Chance's adult life was all coming together. He had
- 5:39Speaker 1: actually just lost his job at the mine because of
- 5:42Speaker 1: like mass layoffs, but he got a new job that
- 5:45Speaker 1: he was going to be starting the Monday after the
- 5:49Speaker 1: Fourth of July weekend in twenty nineteen, so before Chance
- 5:53Speaker 1: started this new job, the family decided to take a
- 5:56Speaker 1: trip over the Fourth of July weekend and they were
- 5:58Speaker 1: going to visit Bailey's grand parents in Gearing, Nebraska. So
- 6:02Speaker 1: on July sixth, twenty nineteen, the family headed to Gearing,
- 6:06Speaker 1: which was about four hours away from their home in Morecroft,
- 6:09Speaker 1: and they spent the day there with Bailey's grandparents, and
- 6:13Speaker 1: Chance actually spent the day golfing with some of Bailey's
- 6:16Speaker 1: family members, and I believe it was like Bailey's brother
- 6:19Speaker 1: in law and dad and maybe a couple other people.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Toward the end of the day, Bailey had gone to
- 6:25Speaker 1: meet Chance after he had been golfing all day, and
- 6:27Speaker 1: she recalls that when she spoke to him on the phone,
- 6:30Speaker 1: he was in a good mood and she was going
- 6:32Speaker 1: to get him and then they were going to go
- 6:33Speaker 1: meet some of her friends for dinner before heading back
- 6:36Speaker 1: to Morecraft that night, when she got to where Chance
- 6:39Speaker 1: was and took Banks out of the car, Chance came
- 6:43Speaker 1: up and said, get the fuck back in the car.
- 6:46Speaker 1: We're leaving h and was like, all of a sudden angry,
- 6:49Speaker 1: and Bailey remembers everyone that was there seeming very confused,
- 6:52Speaker 1: but she just got in the car and she started
- 6:56Speaker 1: driving away, and they canceled their dinner plans. And it
- 7:00Speaker 1: turns out that Chance had basically misunderstood something that someone
- 7:03Speaker 1: had said. Somebody had like talked about how about his
- 7:07Speaker 1: mind shutting down and basically something like Chance still making
- 7:12Speaker 1: more in Wyoming than he would in Nebraska. Okay, you
- 7:15Speaker 1: lost your job, but like you're you're still making more
- 7:17Speaker 1: money or something like that. It's not super clear, but
- 7:21Speaker 1: basically Bailey thinks that Chance just took it the wrong
- 7:25Speaker 1: way and got upset about it, and he would get
- 7:27Speaker 1: upset like this, and she said that he also had
- 7:30Speaker 1: had just enough to drink that she couldn't really talk
- 7:33Speaker 1: any sense into him, which like I understand that, Like
- 7:37Speaker 1: you know, we all get like that and then get
- 7:39Speaker 1: like that where you just can't talk any sense into them.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Oh they're yeah, exactly, And so she just kind of
- 7:47Speaker 1: went along with it, and she was like, Okay, well
- 7:49Speaker 1: we'll go home. So Bailey drove back to her grandparents'
- 7:52Speaker 1: house to pick up their things, but when they got there,
- 7:55Speaker 1: Chance was upset, saying, I wanted I want to go home,
- 7:58Speaker 1: and Bailey was like, well, we have to grab our
- 8:00Speaker 1: bags so we can go home. But Chance was so
- 8:03Speaker 1: upset and he just like took got out of the
- 8:06Speaker 1: car and took off on foot. So that was around
- 8:09Speaker 1: seven thirty pm, and Bailey immediately went off looking for him.
- 8:13Speaker 1: She had to bring the baby inside and like give
- 8:17Speaker 1: banks to her grandma to watch. But right after that
- 8:20Speaker 1: she took off driving around and she couldn't find him.
- 8:23Speaker 1: She eventually spoke to Chance on the phone at seven
- 8:25Speaker 1: forty six pm and he told her that he was
- 8:29Speaker 1: walking south. But during this time Chance also spoke to
- 8:32Speaker 1: some friends on the phone, telling them that he was
- 8:35Speaker 1: heading north, back towards Wyoming. So Chance was seen on
- 8:40Speaker 1: surveillance footage at seven fifty one pm in the area
- 8:43Speaker 1: of Martha Road and Tenth Street, walking north, and then
- 8:47Speaker 1: a witness said that they saw him a few minutes
- 8:50Speaker 1: later near the area of Terry's Lake, which was just
- 8:53Speaker 1: a few minutes walk from where he was seen on footage.
- 8:56Speaker 1: So it does seem like he was heading north. Maybe
- 8:58Speaker 1: he just said the wrong thing to Bailey. I don't
- 9:01Speaker 1: think that there's really anything to that, Okay, it seemed
- 9:05Speaker 1: to Chance's family as if he was trying to find
- 9:07Speaker 1: a ride back to Wyoming that night, like he just
- 9:10Speaker 1: wanted to go home. He had called some friends, but
- 9:13Speaker 1: none of them were close enough or sober enough to
- 9:15Speaker 1: go pick him up. One of his friends, Mike, called
- 9:19Speaker 1: Chance's parents that night, basically saying Chance called me, but
- 9:23Speaker 1: where We've all been drinking all day, so we can't
- 9:25Speaker 1: go get him. Can any of your guy's family go
- 9:28Speaker 1: pick him up? And a bunch of family members called Chance,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but none of them were able to actually speak with him,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and then the last time that anyone verbally heard from
- 9:39Speaker 1: Chance was at eight forty six pm. At around nine
- 9:42Speaker 1: pm that night, a bad thunderstorm started rolling through the area.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Bailey and her grandfather were out searching for Chance, hoping
- 9:50Speaker 1: that he had taken shelter in a bar or a building,
- 9:53Speaker 1: but they never saw any sign of him. Around eleven PM,
- 9:57Speaker 1: Bailey had called Chance's parents. They had chosen to stay
- 10:01Speaker 1: in because of the storm and because it was dark,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and they basically all just figured he had like gone
- 10:07Speaker 1: to a bar or something to cool off and would
- 10:08Speaker 1: come home. Bailey told them around eleven that the storm
- 10:13Speaker 1: had gotten too bad and so they had to stop
- 10:16Speaker 1: looking for the night.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Oh that's said.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Yeah, this is where it gets a little bit weird.
- 10:22Speaker 1: At nine oh eight pm, a text message was sent
- 10:25Speaker 1: from Chance's phone. I don't know. I think it was
- 10:28Speaker 1: to his mom, but I'm not one hundred percent sure,
- 10:31Speaker 1: but his family's not one hundred percent sure that he
- 10:33Speaker 1: sent it. The text was basically a series of random
- 10:37Speaker 1: numbers and emojis, and that was just not like Chance.
- 10:40Speaker 1: He never used emojis. But I couldn't really find any
- 10:43Speaker 1: more information on this of like if they looked into
- 10:46Speaker 1: it or what I mean, I don't know, without his
- 10:50Speaker 1: phone or any evidence, I don't know if they could
- 10:52Speaker 1: look into it anymore. But it's just kind of something
- 10:55Speaker 1: to note that it was very weird.
- 10:57Speaker 3: It sounds too like, you know, like if you have
- 10:59Speaker 3: your phone in your purse or your pocket or something like,
- 11:02Speaker 3: it'll just write out all this random stuff, right.
- 11:05Speaker 1: It definitely could have been something like that. Yeah. The
- 11:08Speaker 1: last ping from Chance's phone was in a town that
- 11:13Speaker 1: was about three miles away from the town where Bailey's
- 11:15Speaker 1: grandparents' house was and gearing so it pinged a tower
- 11:19Speaker 1: on County Road nineteen near the Riverview golf course, which
- 11:23Speaker 1: was just west of Scott's Bluff, Nebraska. But shortly after
- 11:28Speaker 1: that ping, Chance's phone was turned off, and officials mentioned
- 11:33Speaker 1: through the investigation to that basically, as we've heard before,
- 11:38Speaker 1: cell phone pings aren't necessarily exact. They kind of triangulate.
- 11:42Speaker 1: So just because it was right there doesn't mean he
- 11:45Speaker 1: was right there. It just means he was in the
- 11:47Speaker 1: area right So, about an hour after this last text
- 11:50Speaker 1: was sent, around ten pm, Chance was spotted on surveillance
- 11:54Speaker 1: footage walking through an intersection in a suburb called Terrytown,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and that was the last time he was ever seen.
- 12:02Speaker 1: The next morning, Bailey had hoped that Chance would have
- 12:04Speaker 1: come back home in the middle of the night after
- 12:08Speaker 1: you know, cooling off, but he wasn't home. She said that,
- 12:12Speaker 1: you know, at times he would get angry, go work
- 12:15Speaker 1: on something or go have a beer to calm down,
- 12:17Speaker 1: but then he would come back. So she was hoping
- 12:19Speaker 1: that he would have come back in the middle of
- 12:21Speaker 1: the night, but he wasn't there and no one had
- 12:24Speaker 1: heard from him. Chances aunt Katie, who he loved dearly
- 12:28Speaker 1: and he would never turn down her galls could not
- 12:31Speaker 1: reach him. So that's when the family really started thinking
- 12:34Speaker 1: something was up. Bailey filed a missing person's report around
- 12:37Speaker 1: eleven am the next day, and she recalls that the
- 12:40Speaker 1: police did not take it seriously at first, saying he
- 12:44Speaker 1: probably just needed to cool off and he would be back,
- 12:46Speaker 1: which we've heard so many times. Right, even if you
- 12:51Speaker 1: thought he needed to cool off, like there was a
- 12:54Speaker 1: bad thunderstorm, what if something happened, like what if he
- 12:57Speaker 1: got hurt?
- 12:58Speaker 2: And how long do you need to cool off? It
- 13:00Speaker 2: had been like what twenty four hours?
- 13:02Speaker 1: Almost at this point, yeah, almost, so, yeah, yeah.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I would think at least look into it, at least
- 13:09Speaker 3: have somebody search.
- 13:10Speaker 1: The area, right, But nope, they didn't take it seriously
- 13:14Speaker 1: right away. But finally after a few days they did
- 13:16Speaker 1: start to take it seriously and searches began. So there
- 13:20Speaker 1: were a lot of searches within the community. There were
- 13:23Speaker 1: eighteen different agencies and hundreds of volunteers that were searching
- 13:27Speaker 1: on foot for chance, and it's been reported that they
- 13:29Speaker 1: covered twenty four hundred acres searching. Wow. Searching cadaver dogs
- 13:35Speaker 1: were brought in and divers also searched the North Platte
- 13:39Speaker 1: River I think it is that was in the area,
- 13:42Speaker 1: and then They also had drones and aerial searches, but
- 13:46Speaker 1: literally no sign of Chance was ever found.
- 13:49Speaker 2: That's so weird.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Even the dogs and apparently when it rains, dogs scent
- 13:55Speaker 1: like they're able to actually track sense more. Yeah, which
- 13:58Speaker 1: I didn't realize.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I've heard that before.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yeah, so you'd think that you'd think that it would help,
- 14:06Speaker 1: like they would track some sort of scent of his,
- 14:08Speaker 1: but nope, they never found anything.
- 14:11Speaker 2: That's so weird.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Chance's family says that it is very uncharacteristic of him
- 14:17Speaker 1: to just up and leave, and Bailey does not believe
- 14:20Speaker 1: he would just leave his two month old son. She
- 14:23Speaker 1: said that he loved being a dad and he would
- 14:25Speaker 1: have never purposefully just left him Don Chance's mom believes
- 14:30Speaker 1: that Chance was heading towards a town called Torrington where
- 14:33Speaker 1: he could have someone pick him up, and that he
- 14:36Speaker 1: met with foul play.
- 14:37Speaker 2: That's what I was wondering too.
- 14:38Speaker 3: If he tried to hitch hike and right, that's some
- 14:42Speaker 3: psycho crazy person on the road.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Yeah. One theory really early on was that Bailey's family
- 14:48Speaker 1: may have been involved, and this pretty much came about
- 14:51Speaker 1: because the family was reported to be pouring fresh concrete
- 14:54Speaker 1: in their yard not long after Chance disappeared. But the
- 14:58Speaker 1: gearing police said that this theory was like not true
- 15:02Speaker 1: and it was very quickly debunked.
- 15:05Speaker 2: So that's poor timing though, poor timing.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, exactly, because I would be like, that's suspicious, right.
- 15:12Speaker 1: But but now they they debunked that. And then Bailey
- 15:15Speaker 1: also claims that her and Chance did not get into
- 15:19Speaker 1: an argument that night. That's what a lot of people
- 15:21Speaker 1: think that maybe she didn't tell the whole story and
- 15:24Speaker 1: the two of them got into an argument, that's why
- 15:26Speaker 1: he took off, But she claims that that's not true.
- 15:29Speaker 1: And honestly, I kind of believe it, Like I could
- 15:32Speaker 1: see a guy losing his temper over something and then
- 15:35Speaker 1: just wanting to get home, and he like decided to
- 15:38Speaker 1: walk home and something happened. Yeah. So another theory that
- 15:42Speaker 1: a lot of people believe is that Chance fell into
- 15:45Speaker 1: the river during the storm and was unable to get out.
- 15:48Speaker 1: As I mentioned, divers searched in the river for Chance,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and I'm not sure exactly how big this river is,
- 15:54Speaker 1: but they never found anything. And of course that doesn't
- 15:57Speaker 1: mean that he wasn't there, especially because of the storm.
- 16:01Speaker 1: But don believes there is no way he would have
- 16:04Speaker 1: fallen into the river. He was a swimmer, he was
- 16:07Speaker 1: athletic and very smart. He wouldn't have just walked in.
- 16:11Speaker 1: And she actually said, quote, he was a smart kid,
- 16:15Speaker 1: and he wouldn't have been by the river, wouldn't have
- 16:17Speaker 1: gotten near the river. He grew up near the Cheyenne River.
- 16:20Speaker 1: He would have known to respect it. So she basically
- 16:23Speaker 1: is saying there's no way that he would have been
- 16:25Speaker 1: close enough to the river for something to happen, and
- 16:28Speaker 1: if he had fallen in, he would have been able
- 16:30Speaker 1: to get out. Yeah. Chance's family believes that he met
- 16:33Speaker 1: with foul play that night. Chance's grandmother has pleaded for
- 16:37Speaker 1: anyone who may be involved or may know something to
- 16:40Speaker 1: come forward. The family believes he possibly got into a
- 16:44Speaker 1: vehicle with the wrong person, as you said, and that
- 16:48Speaker 1: something went wrong. Bailey's family also continues to search for Chance,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and although there is a little bit of uncertainty in
- 16:56Speaker 1: Don's mind about if something else between Chance of Bayle
- 17:00Speaker 1: happened that night, she is hopeful that that's not the truth,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and she seems to believe it's more something related to
- 17:07Speaker 1: some other foul play.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Yeah, because it seems like the family would be somewhat
- 17:11Speaker 3: aware if they were having problems. It wouldn't just be
- 17:14Speaker 3: like a one fight, one off, right type thing, you.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Know, And it doesn't seem like anybody believes like Bailey
- 17:22Speaker 1: or if her family did something to chance. So what
- 17:24Speaker 1: does it matter why he left and walked away? Like,
- 17:29Speaker 1: either way, he got out of the car and walked away.
- 17:31Speaker 1: So whether it was because of a comment somebody else
- 17:33Speaker 1: made or because of something that happened between him and Bailey,
- 17:36Speaker 1: it doesn't really matter in my eyes. Like if you're
- 17:40Speaker 1: saying like he met with foul play outside, you know,
- 17:44Speaker 1: that's just my opinion though, And.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I've definitely done that.
- 17:46Speaker 3: I've like got out of cars and walked to like
- 17:50Speaker 3: pull off, you know, even if it wasn't you know,
- 17:52Speaker 3: directed at the driver, the person who's driving the car,
- 17:55Speaker 3: like just to have a moment to myself, you know, right,
- 17:58Speaker 3: which is dangerous. Don't do that, Yeah, don't do that,
- 18:01Speaker 3: especially if you're drinking.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, if you've been drinking and you have
- 18:05Speaker 1: a temper, you might just need to walk off and
- 18:07Speaker 1: then something might happened.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:09Speaker 1: So the police do continue to follow up on all
- 18:13Speaker 1: tips and leads, but they basically have never been able
- 18:16Speaker 1: to find any trace of Chance, and it seems as
- 18:19Speaker 1: if he disappeared into thin air. Don continues to push
- 18:23Speaker 1: for more investigation than what is currently happening with the police.
- 18:27Speaker 1: She has said that the Nebraska State Police basically never
- 18:30Speaker 1: got called back in after the initial searches, and she's
- 18:34Speaker 1: been frustrated with the lack of thorough investigation into what
- 18:38Speaker 1: happened that night, basically saying like, you guys haven't really investigated,
- 18:43Speaker 1: Like they've classified it as an investigation now, but they
- 18:47Speaker 1: don't seem to be doing it. Yeah, I mean they
- 18:49Speaker 1: follow up on any leads, but you know, they're not
- 18:53Speaker 1: like actively investigating what actually happened. Chance has now been
- 18:58Speaker 1: missing for over two years with no trace. He was
- 19:01Speaker 1: twenty five years old when he went missing. He has
- 19:05Speaker 1: a light brown hair and hazel eyes, and is five
- 19:07Speaker 1: nine or five ten with a medium build. He was
- 19:11Speaker 1: last seen wearing a short sleeve, buttoned down Wrangler shirt,
- 19:14Speaker 1: blue Wrangler jeans, and a belt with an NRCA buckle,
- 19:18Speaker 1: along with roper boots I think that's how you say it,
- 19:24Speaker 1: but boots and a black and white trucker cap. If
- 19:27Speaker 1: you have any information regarding the disappearance of Chance Engelbert.
- 19:31Speaker 1: You can contact an anonymous police tip line at seven
- 19:35Speaker 1: two four four six six four six three seven, or
- 19:39Speaker 1: you can contact crime Stoppers at one eight hundred four
- 19:42Speaker 1: two two one four nine four and again that can
- 19:45Speaker 1: be anonymous. There's also a Facebook page run by chances
- 19:48Speaker 1: family and friends. His mom regularly posts in there updates
- 19:52Speaker 1: with if there is any new information and also just
- 19:56Speaker 1: shares more photos of him and is really just trying
- 19:59Speaker 1: to keep his name out there and keep his story
- 20:02Speaker 1: alive so that they can help find him. So that
- 20:06Speaker 1: is called help Find Chance Engelbert, and I will link
- 20:09Speaker 1: that in the show notes for you guys. So, as
- 20:11Speaker 1: I said, Chance's mother is a huge advocate for her
- 20:15Speaker 1: son and honestly for so many missing people out there.
- 20:19Speaker 1: She really just wants her son to not be forgotten
- 20:22Speaker 1: and she wants the family to be able to find him. Yeah. So,
- 20:26Speaker 1: like I said, if you have any information, please call
- 20:29Speaker 1: those numbers and I will have them written in the
- 20:31Speaker 1: show notes as well. And yeah, that is the super
- 20:35Speaker 1: mysterious disappearance of Chance Engelbert. It's like heartbreaking that they
- 20:41Speaker 1: haven't been able to find any leads at all. But
- 20:44Speaker 1: you know, I am hopeful that if we continue to
- 20:48Speaker 1: spread information about this and honestly just push the police
- 20:51Speaker 1: to actually look, hopefully they'll find him. You know, some
- 20:55Speaker 1: of family's chants some oh my gosh, some of Chance's
- 20:58Speaker 1: family do believe that he is no longer with us,
- 21:02Speaker 1: but that doesn't mean they don't want to find him.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeah, they need closure.
- 21:06Speaker 3: I mean, even you know, if he is God forbid
- 21:09Speaker 3: no longer with us, they need that closure regardless.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Yeah. So yeah, that is the story of Chance. I
- 21:15Speaker 1: will post photos on our Instagram, so be sure to
- 21:18Speaker 1: go on there and share the photos. You know, the
- 21:21Speaker 1: more information and sharing we can get out there, the
- 21:24Speaker 1: more likely police will start looking into this again. So yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 1: that will be on our Instagram which is at Inhuman
- 21:32Speaker 1: Underscore podcast. And that's all I have for you guys today.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So we will see you on Thursday with a brand
- 21:41Speaker 1: new episode and until then, keep it Human. Bye bye,
