- 0:23Speaker 3: Prom But what's going on? Everybody? I am the one,
- 0:27Speaker 3: the only, the w O Okay, I e joined here
- 0:29Speaker 3: by the normal cast of misfits. We have this choke
- 0:32Speaker 3: show draz Corp. Hey, guys, how's it going? We have
- 0:36Speaker 3: the PhD of Keyboards, Doctor Sheep Hello, and the Ewakist
- 0:42Speaker 3: of Ewoks Ewok Jr.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Hello, Keyboard community. Glad to be here all right?
- 0:47Speaker 3: Time to go over all the things and stuff in
- 0:51Speaker 3: the game found pledge.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Will you guys know how we ask for uh information?
- 0:58Speaker 3: Yep? They gave it to us in a week, in
- 1:02Speaker 3: a three day spread. No, yeah, which it's that. I
- 1:07Speaker 3: think they're trying to check their checkbox off for twenty
- 1:09Speaker 3: twenty five too.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I mean, you got a quota running out of days
- 1:13Speaker 1: left in the year, right, Marcles out there right, you're okay?
- 1:17Speaker 1: Are for the year said that ye must release at
- 1:20Speaker 1: least twenty five pieces of content to the public, and
- 1:24Speaker 1: like shit, we're on three.
- 1:26Speaker 5: Is this?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Like?
- 1:26Speaker 4: Is this like there is this like pieces of flair
- 1:30Speaker 4: I must have.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you gotta have seventeen pieces of flair.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I think I think we're gonna institute that at next
- 1:36Speaker 3: year's KFC. No, you must have x amount of number
- 1:39Speaker 3: of pieces of flair, and then Sheep won't have it, right,
- 1:43Speaker 3: because that's how he rolls, because he doesn't care us
- 1:46Speaker 3: about anything. And and now we just have stuff and things.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I mean, I was wearing three team outfits at the
- 1:56Speaker 1: same time you sure were. I was wearing SaaS, I
- 2:00Speaker 1: was Worried C, and I was wearing my locals redacted. Yeah,
- 2:03Speaker 1: and which is pretty much ac basically at this point. Yeah,
- 2:09Speaker 1: we got more than that. We've we've got the uh.
- 2:13Speaker 1: We got a bunch of folks that don't come out
- 2:14Speaker 1: to like vaults and stuff and just come to local stuff.
- 2:17Speaker 3: So do you guys all wear your jerseys at like
- 2:19Speaker 3: the local store.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Only for like special events like store championship or something.
- 2:28Speaker 3: So you all beat up at each other, that's right.
- 2:31Speaker 3: So you are the assholes who are scaring all the
- 2:33Speaker 3: new people away when they show up hard and they're
- 2:37Speaker 3: the thirteenth person and twelve other people are all wearing
- 2:39Speaker 3: the same jersey.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Yeah, Wookie, that that's all of us right now that
- 2:44Speaker 4: are still in this campaign. By that, I mean playing keyboards.
- 2:50Speaker 3: But speaking of a campaign, there were some announcements, So
- 2:53Speaker 3: on the second we got the announcement of the Crucible
- 2:57Speaker 3: Clash changes. So I'm just gonna read this paragraph. When
- 3:05Speaker 3: we announced Crucible Clash last week, it was met with
- 3:08Speaker 3: mixed reviews, with some of you, probably the nicest way
- 3:12Speaker 3: to say it, well, some of you got you're making
- 3:16Speaker 3: me break well, some of you got excited about the
- 3:19Speaker 3: possibilities of a set like this could bring to the table.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Many shared a similar sentiment that rang loud and clear.
- 3:24Speaker 3: They're concerned around set legality and the usefulness of the deck.
- 3:28Speaker 3: After the sealed event was over, we also said this
- 3:32Speaker 3: about Menagerie. We also said this about Did we say
- 3:36Speaker 3: this about I'm pretty sure we said this about Unchained?
- 3:38Speaker 4: Oh sure.
- 3:40Speaker 3: We intended Crucible Clash.
- 3:43Speaker 5: To be a lie.
- 3:43Speaker 4: We didn't truly know the problem with Unchained until it
- 3:48Speaker 4: really came out a little bit later, and then it
- 3:50Speaker 4: became very very clear, which is why, which is why
- 3:53Speaker 4: the later versions.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Because how much well how much Unchained and Menagerie do
- 3:58Speaker 3: you have in your basement.
- 4:00Speaker 5: I don't want to admit because it's way too much.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Well, how well, I was asking, ewok, but how much
- 4:06Speaker 3: do you have? She now I want to know.
- 4:11Speaker 5: I don't know if I have monagerie. I got two
- 4:14Speaker 5: menagerie a box of unchained on chain twenty twenty two.
- 4:21Speaker 5: I guess that's it, and that's still more than I
- 4:23Speaker 5: would like to walk.
- 4:26Speaker 3: How much you got?
- 4:27Speaker 4: I have one box of unchained?
- 4:29Speaker 3: Did you have a box of anagerie too?
- 4:32Speaker 4: No? No, I did not get and I refused to get.
- 4:34Speaker 3: That, and then dasco how much you got?
- 4:38Speaker 4: Uh?
- 4:39Speaker 1: I don't think I have that much. I might have
- 4:41Speaker 1: a deck or two left, but I think I opened
- 4:43Speaker 1: all mine.
- 4:45Speaker 4: I actually did the original unchained. I have the box
- 4:49Speaker 4: that I got yeah to start with.
- 4:53Speaker 1: So I was most the way through the unchained before
- 4:55Speaker 1: I was like wait a second, and I just finished it.
- 4:59Speaker 3: So well, the intended Crucipal clashould be legal against itself
- 5:06Speaker 3: in a sealed environment. As stated during the reveal, we
- 5:09Speaker 3: wanted to create the most fun environment with the most
- 5:12Speaker 3: balanced play. When creating the set, we discussed balancing Crucipal
- 5:17Speaker 3: Clash with all their sets, but found trying to balance
- 5:21Speaker 3: the ARCM power the main opponent of the set against
- 5:24Speaker 3: other sets would lead to less fun experience.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Guys, I have a question for you, what what allows
- 5:33Speaker 4: a game to be balanced?
- 5:37Speaker 3: You are talking into philosophic philosophy design that I think
- 5:41Speaker 3: it designs the time to go through today.
- 5:44Speaker 4: A scale, So a scale a design staff and was
- 5:49Speaker 4: the first one you said? Play testers or like a
- 5:52Speaker 4: group testing? Okay? Interesting?
- 5:56Speaker 3: Weird. Seeing the reaction and feedback during the reveal has
- 5:59Speaker 3: revisits the discussion to see if we could come to
- 6:01Speaker 3: an alternative that would lead to a fun experience. While
- 6:05Speaker 3: the joy of the set will be most felt when
- 6:08Speaker 3: going against itself due to the ARCon power, the decks
- 6:11Speaker 3: are perfectly viable in other sets even without the use
- 6:16Speaker 3: of the ARCon power. So after careful consideration, we have
- 6:19Speaker 3: concluded Crucible Clash decks will be tournament legal and official
- 6:23Speaker 3: ARCon and Alliance tournament formats without their ARCon power.
- 6:30Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean no, this is given where we were,
- 6:35Speaker 1: this is probably the best possible outcome because now there's
- 6:43Speaker 1: potentially a reason to use these.
- 6:47Speaker 3: I think you bet you missed a word there. You
- 6:51Speaker 3: use the word word or use I think what you
- 6:53Speaker 3: meant to say, was buy.
- 6:58Speaker 4: By Well, but some people will will go ahead.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Nobody is going to buy these if they are not
- 7:03Speaker 3: tournament legal. They're going to get ever, is that they
- 7:07Speaker 3: have to take because it's just part of the package. Right,
- 7:12Speaker 3: It's like the it's like the home internet cable and
- 7:14Speaker 3: home phone that you know Spectrum used to offer, like nobody.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Fucking because it's bundled together.
- 7:20Speaker 3: But because it's bundled together and you get it for
- 7:22Speaker 3: like seven dollars a month, you have a home phone now, right, Like.
- 7:28Speaker 4: I don't know, I'm more with drascor. I think that
- 7:31Speaker 4: this was the best that we could hope from this scenario,
- 7:34Speaker 4: and so I'm content with that. So I will say
- 7:37Speaker 4: gg to gg on that one, making it, making it palpable.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I added the three decks to my pledge.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I did. Now do you think they just want to
- 7:50Speaker 3: call the pledges are a little light?
- 7:56Speaker 4: Well see, I actually had that to start with. What
- 7:59Speaker 4: are pledge that I had screenshot earlier?
- 8:02Speaker 3: And now I lost it got buried in our discord.
- 8:06Speaker 4: No, dude, this is why I have ac show notes.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Do you have jams chart? Hold on?
- 8:13Speaker 1: Oh there are six hundred. It's literally right, there right now.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Ye Jam's chart.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Anyway, Wookie, for those who are uninitiated, we have it here.
- 8:22Speaker 4: We have six hundred and sixty six backers. There's four
- 8:24Speaker 4: days left and we're sitting at one hundred and seventy
- 8:27Speaker 4: one thousan six hundred and thirty dollars, six.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Hundred and sixty six backers. You say, mm.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Hmmm, yeah, I what was interesting? I will say on
- 8:36Speaker 4: the Game Found update, Yes, it is not as many
- 8:39Speaker 4: as we have typically seen the number of backers. Little
- 8:42Speaker 4: concerning what was the oddest thing happened this week and
- 8:46Speaker 4: that there was a large pludge that was actually removed.
- 8:49Speaker 4: I think that's about all that I took from our
- 8:52Speaker 4: Game found this week. Was there a second one?
- 8:55Speaker 1: That's why I heard, That's why I saw.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I saw the one. I saw two. All that mentioned
- 9:00Speaker 3: in chat. Now we need to go look. No, I
- 9:04Speaker 3: saw the one that the one of the two thousand
- 9:07Speaker 3: dollars pledges was removed. Let's see if there's any.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Available now, and I will say that.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Or did they? Okay, I only saw God again? Probably
- 9:22Speaker 3: did you really? I have no idea. That's a lie
- 9:24Speaker 3: I'm telling people.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Sticking to it.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I actually have to circle back with Bama to
- 9:31Speaker 1: see if he was joking or not, because he told
- 9:33Speaker 1: me that he he grabbed the two thousand dollars pledge
- 9:38Speaker 1: again so that you know the first one he has
- 9:41Speaker 1: like a waist up picture that he's like, I'm gonna
- 9:45Speaker 1: do waist down next.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Hey, if they'll put him in. If you come in,
- 9:49Speaker 4: if you come into two different sessions, I think that
- 9:51Speaker 4: you should be made into a gigantic let's be Yeah.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I just like call it Maamon pants.
- 9:59Speaker 4: And when I have drakes about mouth dress, it's.
- 10:05Speaker 3: That makes sense. But I don't know. I kind of
- 10:09Speaker 3: felt like, you know, pledges were a little light, and
- 10:12Speaker 3: they're like, oh, can we do to get more money?
- 10:14Speaker 3: And of course we'll talk more about that later. If
- 10:18Speaker 3: the're going to crack, I don't know if they're going
- 10:20Speaker 3: to crack two K.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I mean they will.
- 10:25Speaker 3: There are thirty dollars away from being a two hundred
- 10:28Speaker 3: eight hours. You always get people. They're going to get
- 10:31Speaker 3: thirty not that many. I mean, we can see I
- 10:34Speaker 3: found his chart. You can see that. Yes there is
- 10:36Speaker 3: a there's a spike, but uh, okay, yeah, they'll get there.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:45Speaker 4: I just think that a couple of things that have
- 10:48Speaker 4: become very very clear from the community from check discord
- 10:51Speaker 4: and items one, we really want to have a focused
- 10:55Speaker 4: amount of sets, whether that is too released for the
- 10:59Speaker 4: year with one add on as something special, you can
- 11:02Speaker 4: consider that similar to your Mars event, but you know
- 11:05Speaker 4: things that are actually flashed out practice that are balanced.
- 11:09Speaker 4: And then number two, people want to support their locals.
- 11:14Speaker 4: I know it's not necessarily what Gigi's looking for. This
- 11:16Speaker 4: is their route, but again, still seeing this one and done,
- 11:22Speaker 4: the numbers keep decreasing, so they're going to keep using it.
- 11:27Speaker 4: I get that. But that's where I find ourselves is
- 11:30Speaker 4: I think that going more through the stores, incorporating the
- 11:32Speaker 4: stores is a good choice. But we're decreasing in amount
- 11:36Speaker 4: of people that are participating.
- 11:38Speaker 1: So I hope, and we don't this is not public,
- 11:41Speaker 1: we don't know this right, but I hope there's a
- 11:45Speaker 1: similar upper when it comes to the store pledges that
- 11:52Speaker 1: I hope that's true. Otherwise we got problems.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Guys.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Well, I just go now.
- 11:58Speaker 1: If it's raising the same level or faster than yay,
- 12:03Speaker 1: good for key Forage and that's good for all of us.
- 12:07Speaker 1: If it's not, then that's bad for all of us.
- 12:10Speaker 4: I just hope that we are moving more into a
- 12:13Speaker 4: pre order system. I think that's really what you're seeing
- 12:16Speaker 4: that Game found is essentially being used for, but it's
- 12:18Speaker 4: not positioning itself as that. So because you can actually
- 12:23Speaker 4: do pre orders on game Pound and Kickstarter, that is
- 12:25Speaker 4: perfectly fine.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I mean that's what almost everybody's doing these days, right,
- 12:32Speaker 1: there's tons of big companies out there basically.
- 12:35Speaker 3: All the time, dot dot dot kind of well would
- 12:39Speaker 3: you say the pre order blah bah blah. It's like
- 12:42Speaker 3: a lot of these companies are using it as a
- 12:43Speaker 3: one time thing to get up off the ground and
- 12:45Speaker 3: then they're pushing forward on their own.
- 12:50Speaker 1: New companies. Yes, but not a lot of the big
- 12:52Speaker 1: companies that are on here.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not doing that.
- 12:56Speaker 5: A lot of a lot of big companies. The primary
- 13:00Speaker 5: release of every board game now is coming through one
- 13:03Speaker 5: of the crowd because it lets them determine original print
- 13:07Speaker 5: size much more accurately.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and that's worth the you know, x percent,
- 13:12Speaker 1: six percent or whatever they have to pay ten whatever
- 13:15Speaker 1: it is after these So the Queen Games does not
- 13:22Speaker 1: need to use this, but they do because it's valuable
- 13:25Speaker 1: for them.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Right.
- 13:26Speaker 5: It also lets them do the really fancy tokens button again,
- 13:31Speaker 5: exactly the number that need to be produced and not.
- 13:34Speaker 5: We way over produced two hundred dollars board games that
- 13:38Speaker 5: it turns out people don't actually want, right, So I mean,
- 13:43Speaker 5: I'm not there was Who's the other company that's done
- 13:48Speaker 5: it forever? GMT? GMT Games, every one of their games
- 13:54Speaker 5: was released basically through kickstarter style where they're like, this
- 13:57Speaker 5: is the next game we're gonna do, buy it now,
- 14:01Speaker 5: and once we have enough people who'll buy it, then
- 14:02Speaker 5: we'll actually print it. It was kind of that sort
- 14:05Speaker 5: of way of doing things. And you know, GMT was
- 14:13Speaker 5: never much You could find them in game stores, but
- 14:16Speaker 5: they were primarily an order direct thing.
- 14:19Speaker 4: But we don't want to be that. We want to
- 14:22Speaker 4: be following the game scos present in games store.
- 14:24Speaker 5: Well, they're they're board games. They aren't looking to build
- 14:28Speaker 5: player based by being on board game store shelves quite
- 14:33Speaker 5: like card games are or one on one competitive games
- 14:38Speaker 5: need to be right.
- 14:40Speaker 4: I agree that needs to be restated, that that's what
- 14:42Speaker 4: should be highlighted and focused on their.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I was just about although we are not.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Traditional and I swallowed spe but god cheap.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Pushing that model is not I don't believe it was
- 15:02Speaker 5: ever going to lead to success short term. We're also
- 15:06Speaker 5: not a board game, and although those are the players
- 15:10Speaker 5: I think we want to reach, the board game marketing
- 15:14Speaker 5: model is not ideal for expanding this game. Like you
- 15:18Speaker 5: look at the other things like Ashes and the other
- 15:24Speaker 5: living card games and collective with the stuff that have
- 15:26Speaker 5: been done more in the board game thing they do okay, right,
- 15:30Speaker 5: but that's all they ever do.
- 15:33Speaker 1: No question, are we a board game or are we
- 15:36Speaker 1: a card game? We're a card game that appeals to
- 15:42Speaker 1: board gamers.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Yes, it's not what I asked. I asked, are we
- 15:46Speaker 3: a card game or a board.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Now we are questionably a card game, no question about that.
- 15:54Speaker 5: But we are not a collectable card game in the
- 15:59Speaker 5: same way that traditional collectible card games, which is what
- 16:04Speaker 5: you're trying to say by card game.
- 16:05Speaker 3: I think no, I'm just asking because we keep talking
- 16:09Speaker 3: about board games and this is the way board games
- 16:11Speaker 3: do it, and board games do it this way. But
- 16:13Speaker 3: board games have been doing it this way for But
- 16:15Speaker 3: are we a board game or co what are we where?
- 16:18Speaker 5: That's the thing. Key Forge is neither a traditional CCG
- 16:23Speaker 5: or a board game, and trying to say you have
- 16:27Speaker 5: to be one or the other. Is not an actual answer,
- 16:31Speaker 5: Like that's an answer that says that you're already done.
- 16:33Speaker 5: You're never gonna really succeed.
- 16:40Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna So I have a question. Yeah,
- 16:43Speaker 1: I have a question about uh crucible clash for you guys.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So this is setting up potentially an interesting precedent. The
- 16:56Speaker 1: precedent is potentially, hey, we'll do something crazy with the
- 17:03Speaker 1: thirty seventh card, and if it's really bonkers or is crazy,
- 17:10Speaker 1: it won't matter because we could just say that, well,
- 17:14Speaker 1: when you're playing against other sets, don't use that thirty
- 17:17Speaker 1: seventh card.
- 17:18Speaker 5: So they can fix DT by just making the tide
- 17:21Speaker 5: always high.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Maybe maybe we.
- 17:24Speaker 5: Don't want thirty seventh cards anymore, tides always high.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Maybe, I mean, I think thirty seventh card is cool,
- 17:31Speaker 1: Like they've done cool stuff with it, not the tide
- 17:33Speaker 1: but other things.
- 17:36Speaker 3: And that's the only other thirty seventh card we have.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I like.
- 17:43Speaker 5: We're getting thirty seven and thirty eight in the next set.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Those prophecy seems cool, Like, I I mean, I have
- 17:51Speaker 1: not I am not a playtester, so I don't know anything,
- 17:55Speaker 1: but like the concept I am intrigued by so I'm
- 18:00Speaker 1: hopeful that it is actually cool.
- 18:05Speaker 3: I mean, we'll have to find out me too. It determined.
- 18:09Speaker 3: It really determines like what they're going to do and
- 18:12Speaker 3: how how much they're going to lean into it, because
- 18:16Speaker 3: it seems like when they do something and they don't
- 18:18Speaker 3: lean into it, the concept flops. Yeah, like we have
- 18:24Speaker 3: a whole right, because we have a whole concept here
- 18:27Speaker 3: of the new Skyborne who want to deal with key
- 18:29Speaker 3: colors and placement on the battle line, but they didn't
- 18:33Speaker 3: lean into it hard enough, so it just becomes a
- 18:35Speaker 3: nothing burger.
- 18:37Speaker 4: What's interesting about that, Sheep? I know you had stated
- 18:42Speaker 4: like if they do something that's partially on partially off,
- 18:45Speaker 4: it's really difficult to be able to balance for a
- 18:48Speaker 4: game state.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's very hard to balance versus sets.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Correct. So if you go ahead and have this ability
- 18:55Speaker 4: that's super hot, but it only fires one third of
- 18:59Speaker 4: the time or one something large happens, how do you
- 19:02Speaker 4: go ahead and basically value that. Do you value it
- 19:05Speaker 4: at hitting every single game what doesn't happen, or do
- 19:08Speaker 4: you value it as only happening irregularly, and then if
- 19:10Speaker 4: it happens, it's super overpowered. So that's a real challenge
- 19:14Speaker 4: that I think that the game developer and the playtesters
- 19:17Speaker 4: have to look at.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Or crazy thought we could develop sets that don't have
- 19:23Speaker 3: some new sort of weird gimmick and just make key
- 19:27Speaker 3: forge cards that are good, and.
- 19:31Speaker 4: I think that I think that is.
- 19:33Speaker 5: The introduce weird gimmick.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Yeah, you always got to do something to try to
- 19:37Speaker 3: get so you don't have to do it as much
- 19:39Speaker 3: as we do it. Like it just every set has
- 19:42Speaker 3: a new gimmick that you have to like since I
- 19:46Speaker 3: mean really, I think the pips right, like, which was
- 19:53Speaker 3: the best ever? Right?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:56Speaker 3: DT was the Tide sucked tokens was good. Yep, I
- 20:04Speaker 3: guess Haunted was the gimmick. But again, haunted was a
- 20:07Speaker 3: gimmick that's like it's going to happen or it's not
- 20:09Speaker 3: going to like it through the progression of the game,
- 20:12Speaker 3: you're going to get haunted anyways, so like, yeah, it's.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Not yeah, but it's leaning into it and for what
- 20:18Speaker 4: purpose to discard them?
- 20:21Speaker 3: But they also made cards that that they do Okay,
- 20:24Speaker 3: so how many to dot?
- 20:27Speaker 4: They listed cards, they listed cards that frankly do a
- 20:31Speaker 4: lot with being haunted, and they listed cards that can
- 20:34Speaker 4: go ahead and cycle back, I think you're.
- 20:37Speaker 3: My point to all this was you're going to yes,
- 20:41Speaker 3: not ramble is they made cards that they do one
- 20:45Speaker 3: thing if you're not haunted, and then they do something
- 20:49Speaker 3: better if you are. Your whole deck isn't a giant
- 20:53Speaker 3: dumpster fire if you're not meeting the correct criteria, which
- 20:58Speaker 3: is where DT failed, which is where amber Sky's is failing.
- 21:02Speaker 3: If you don't have the correct key for this guy
- 21:04Speaker 3: does absolutely nothing. If you don't have the tie high,
- 21:09Speaker 3: this card does absolutely nothing.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Well.
- 21:11Speaker 4: I think for amber Sky's it comes down to house enhancements.
- 21:14Speaker 4: You can hit house enhancements. It's literally leaning into being
- 21:17Speaker 4: able to play. We saw that at locals this week
- 21:19Speaker 4: when I had multiple cards that fell into another.
- 21:24Speaker 5: Skyborne and everything's fine and amber.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Sky So I think that Skyborne is there, but Skyborne
- 21:30Speaker 4: has steel.
- 21:31Speaker 5: Sure, they have a very limit. They're kind of like
- 21:35Speaker 5: Star Alliance and less version of it and and gr
- 21:40Speaker 5: where like often gr real bad. But like if you
- 21:44Speaker 5: get you know, a couple of near futures and a
- 21:47Speaker 5: couple of leaves, it's like, oh wait, this is fine.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Often you get a bunch of trash.
- 21:55Speaker 3: If you don't get redline rotation. So flags.
- 22:02Speaker 5: Is again like the adding goofy ship is true in
- 22:10Speaker 5: most card games.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Yes, I'm not saying adding they don't add at the
- 22:16Speaker 3: same so absolutely wrong. There are two blocks in Magic
- 22:23Speaker 3: every year, and every block of Magic gets something stupid. Yeah,
- 22:27Speaker 3: difference that there is. It is true, it's not so
- 22:33Speaker 3: I guess what I was What did what this last
- 22:35Speaker 3: block of matter or any block of if I know,
- 22:38Speaker 3: I don't anymore. It's not like they have.
- 22:41Speaker 5: Added they well magic is now so far, but like
- 22:46Speaker 5: ten years ago last time I played, they were adding
- 22:48Speaker 5: ship when they added their graveyard mechanics, and then they
- 22:52Speaker 5: added there you could play from the graveyard mechanics, and
- 22:56Speaker 5: then they added discarding cards for manner or some crap
- 22:59Speaker 5: they did. They've always done weird stuff. They have a
- 23:02Speaker 5: lot of mechanics, but it is not at the same
- 23:05Speaker 5: they've had four or five or so that a block
- 23:09Speaker 5: is like four sets. Well, but but there's two blocks
- 23:13Speaker 5: a year. That's only two mechanics a year. There's not
- 23:17Speaker 5: two blocks a year.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Came up with that at all In good traditional AC fashion.
- 23:23Speaker 4: This can be looked at and we actually have information.
- 23:25Speaker 4: But to bring some civility back. What I was seeing,
- 23:29Speaker 4: what I was seeing, is Wookie is right in that
- 23:33Speaker 4: we could have extended to more of a block system
- 23:35Speaker 4: where maybe you would have seen tokens dealt with for
- 23:39Speaker 4: a larger amount of sets, maybe two or three sets,
- 23:42Speaker 4: and then go into the idea for the Haunted for
- 23:45Speaker 4: two or three sets. And so you can extend that
- 23:48Speaker 4: even going ahead and bringing in a brand new house
- 23:50Speaker 4: like Redemption, which is a twist, you could play that
- 23:53Speaker 4: off for again two sets instead of it being one.
- 23:57Speaker 4: But because you're seeing a higher cycle, and then we
- 24:00Speaker 4: have these add on sets, I don't even know what
- 24:03Speaker 4: to really consider them, but it strains your player base,
- 24:07Speaker 4: like people want to just experience. I think that they
- 24:09Speaker 4: did a nice job at being able to go ahead
- 24:12Speaker 4: and create some of these items, but then let people
- 24:15Speaker 4: experience and play that. Discovery is still a component of
- 24:18Speaker 4: key Forge, and then we just dropped multiple sets in
- 24:21Speaker 4: a very short period of time or all at once.
- 24:25Speaker 4: It takes it dilutes your ability to discover, and it
- 24:30Speaker 4: just focuses on certain qualities as you're looking at it.
- 24:33Speaker 5: I don't I don't know how it dilutes your ability
- 24:36Speaker 5: to discover when you just have more things to look at.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Uh, It means that you're not as focused and what's there?
- 24:42Speaker 4: I guess, so the main focus that I want to
- 24:43Speaker 4: come from here is Wookie is really trying to go
- 24:46Speaker 4: ahead and say in my opinion, and we had talked
- 24:48Speaker 4: about this through different car rides, having a larger block set,
- 24:53Speaker 4: multiple sets that are focused on one area would be
- 24:58Speaker 4: a better use of key forge to be able to
- 25:00Speaker 4: bring someone in. You're experiencing it more than once. It's
- 25:04Speaker 4: slightly different, and here's your different, here's your houses with
- 25:06Speaker 4: tokens now, and we did that. We did we did
- 25:09Speaker 4: winds of Exchange and then we have talk tokens of change.
- 25:13Speaker 4: But they could have put those together and that could
- 25:15Speaker 4: have been across one year versus going ahead and dropping
- 25:21Speaker 4: all of the sets that we have.
- 25:24Speaker 5: I mean with two sets a year, and if we actually.
- 25:29Speaker 4: We're at we're not at two sets a year.
- 25:31Speaker 5: We're at two sets a year that are introducing something
- 25:34Speaker 5: significant and then some remixed stuff.
- 25:37Speaker 4: But that this is it. The remix stuff could have
- 25:39Speaker 4: been their own sets.
- 25:40Speaker 5: That would have been it's a remix.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Box is revisiting and it's not a remix. It's revisiting
- 25:47Speaker 3: a mechanic. But like the cards aren't just like reskinned.
- 25:54Speaker 3: There's brand new stuff in this in this set, I
- 25:58Speaker 3: think that's absolutely little bit busted. Like I don't know
- 26:02Speaker 3: who signed off on that one. That was a bad idea.
- 26:06Speaker 3: I love that.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah, this is not a two people have to turn
- 26:10Speaker 1: keys at the same time to fire a missile sort
- 26:12Speaker 1: of situation. Right, This is.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Someone going ahead and going into the ways.
- 26:22Speaker 5: In the in the gr box, nobody's getting box. Somebody's
- 26:28Speaker 5: getting But.
- 26:29Speaker 4: I mean, if if we're looking at all of the
- 26:32Speaker 4: different sets that essentially became available as standard sets for
- 26:36Speaker 4: this past year, basically a twelve month period, it is
- 26:43Speaker 4: not a normal year that we've seen in the past.
- 26:47Speaker 4: There are a lot that has been released. And yes, sheep,
- 26:49Speaker 4: you can talk about it being reskinned. I get that,
- 26:51Speaker 4: and there's some there, but there is there's a lot
- 26:56Speaker 4: that was put out in a very short period of time.
- 26:58Speaker 5: Okay, I agree, we got all this year.
- 27:03Speaker 4: So we need to not be going ahead and spreading
- 27:05Speaker 4: out through all of those sets. Instead, we can go
- 27:09Speaker 4: ahead and look at some of the mechanics and spread
- 27:11Speaker 4: them out and dig into them a little bit. A
- 27:14Speaker 4: little bit, so if longer, I also think that you
- 27:16Speaker 4: will have people who will. By doing that, I'm hoping
- 27:21Speaker 4: that it will allow playtesters a chance to look and
- 27:24Speaker 4: play tests and.
- 27:25Speaker 3: The problems like all right, twenty twenty four, right prophetic
- 27:29Speaker 3: Visions will be well, essentially, it'll be released in twenty
- 27:32Speaker 3: twenty four, but let's say all of twenty twenty five
- 27:36Speaker 3: now is focused on this prophecy mechanic.
- 27:40Speaker 5: What if you totally hate prophecies, like so many people
- 27:44Speaker 5: hated Woe and a bunch of people hate gr like, whoa,
- 27:48Speaker 5: there are people, there are people, well.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Yeah, nothing happen.
- 27:53Speaker 5: People also like DT. So I now we've questioned their
- 27:57Speaker 5: we questioned their thought patterns.
- 27:58Speaker 3: But they don't like, well, well, good riddance.
- 28:03Speaker 4: We're not gonna we're not gonna make everyone happy, and
- 28:06Speaker 4: we need to understand this vaults. We need to understand
- 28:08Speaker 4: this in our place.
- 28:09Speaker 5: I'm saying is like, you guys are like I mean,
- 28:12Speaker 5: and I get it because I'm gonna ask for the
- 28:15Speaker 5: things that make me happy, But I mean, I don't.
- 28:18Speaker 5: There's clearly some amount of hunger because it's every time
- 28:21Speaker 5: they put one of these, well until this last one
- 28:25Speaker 5: where they're like and it's not legal, like they put
- 28:27Speaker 5: up these extra sets, and that's where they actually land sales.
- 28:29Speaker 5: So clearly sales numbers indicate people do want more stuff
- 28:33Speaker 5: to look at.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Actually, I think people just want to Actually, let's just
- 28:38Speaker 3: go over to jams short. Let's see. Let me just
- 28:42Speaker 3: click on this one. So grimmer Minders did that have
- 28:44Speaker 3: a whole bunch of extra sets with it was that
- 28:48Speaker 3: the one where talk came out and whatnot? And mem
- 28:54Speaker 3: oh it was ember Sky's and amber sky Is actually
- 28:56Speaker 3: did significantly poorer than grimmer Minders did. Weird.
- 29:00Speaker 5: But you can see the bumps when they release the sets.
- 29:06Speaker 3: What bumm? And I don't see bumps.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Yeah, the top one has it. It's there's some slight increases.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I agree with that, but again, what is the overall
- 29:18Speaker 4: focus of the game? Do we want to just go ahead?
- 29:21Speaker 5: Don't know what the overall focus is. It's to grab
- 29:24Speaker 5: money right now while they're making game two. I mean
- 29:28Speaker 5: that were so, you know, like all the ideas that
- 29:31Speaker 5: they've been putting on the burner, sell them now, so
- 29:34Speaker 5: they're done with them, milk them weather. I think I
- 29:37Speaker 5: think it's fine to release lots of stuff, and it's
- 29:42Speaker 5: fine to be like, oh, I guess I have to
- 29:45Speaker 5: play the game bar.
- 29:46Speaker 3: I feel like that's a good thing. The problem like
- 29:49Speaker 3: they saw Magic, right, and you see Magic, and you
- 29:52Speaker 3: see a lot of these companies going absolutely bananas with
- 29:56Speaker 3: the amount of product, Like Magic is releasing more product
- 30:00Speaker 3: like within the past five years that it has ever
- 30:03Speaker 3: released ever, right, Like it's absolutely crazy. And they just
- 30:09Speaker 3: keep seeing like record breaking profit after record breaking profit
- 30:14Speaker 3: after record breaking profit. Like somehow, which is the coast
- 30:19Speaker 3: found a way to print money and they are being successful.
- 30:22Speaker 3: But that's Magic, You're not Magic, Pokemon and uh the
- 30:28Speaker 3: other one Yu gi oh. I have kind of stuck
- 30:30Speaker 3: to the tried and true, and a lot of the
- 30:31Speaker 3: other ones have stuck again the very similar tried and true,
- 30:36Speaker 3: you know, three to four sets a year, and they
- 30:39Speaker 3: are also doing very well. I mean Magic has taken
- 30:43Speaker 3: the gap. But I feel like they're like, oh, if
- 30:44Speaker 3: we make more stuff, we'll print more money. And that's
- 30:49Speaker 3: just not the case in this community. Now, if you can,
- 30:56Speaker 3: how are you deciding that? How am I decided what
- 31:01Speaker 3: that printing more sets doesn't result in them making more money?
- 31:05Speaker 3: You're correct, I have no because because the company refuses
- 31:09Speaker 3: to give us any sort of anything on any sort
- 31:12Speaker 3: of financial anything that you're correct. I have no clarity
- 31:16Speaker 3: on whether printing more stuff makes more money. All I
- 31:20Speaker 3: have I know we can all I had a chart
- 31:23Speaker 3: here that jam has provided us where this game found
- 31:26Speaker 3: did pretty much and I'm going to use your your
- 31:29Speaker 3: number from last week thirty three percent less than the
- 31:32Speaker 3: previous game found and it had more stuff to buy.
- 31:38Speaker 5: Yes, there is definitely a retraction in.
- 31:43Speaker 4: Sales by people that are participating, but that.
- 31:50Speaker 5: You know that's not necessarily anything to do with the
- 31:52Speaker 5: number of sets coming out.
- 31:55Speaker 4: No, I cannot I agree with Sheep. You can't go
- 31:57Speaker 4: ahead and correlate that. What I can go on house.
- 31:59Speaker 5: We can't like any data because we have very little
- 32:03Speaker 5: real data.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Correct, But we can make some hypothesis, which is what's
- 32:07Speaker 4: happening now with that we're going to jump down to
- 32:11Speaker 4: update eleven and come back to the previews because it
- 32:14Speaker 4: says a campaign surprise, and I think that we're going
- 32:17Speaker 4: to we're.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Going to skip ten and go to eleven.
- 32:23Speaker 5: I do actually have thought, is we we keep and
- 32:29Speaker 5: and you know, the group we're playing with and what
- 32:31Speaker 5: we talk about and the people were with, We're all like,
- 32:34Speaker 5: we want to support our store more. And then at
- 32:40Speaker 5: the same, you know, like we want to support our
- 32:41Speaker 5: store more, we want to buy more from a store.
- 32:43Speaker 5: That's many of our listeners say the same thing. That's great.
- 32:47Speaker 5: But then we've also heard quite a bit that the
- 32:52Speaker 5: game is actually supported by the dirty cash is right?
- 32:57Speaker 5: Who where are they getting their stuff if they are
- 33:01Speaker 5: getting it through Game Found? Because you ain't getting it
- 33:03Speaker 5: through your store if you're casual, I mean not.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Like, where did all of our talk go from our store?
- 33:12Speaker 3: We bought it? I don't think we.
- 33:14Speaker 4: All yeah, we bought it in that No, that that
- 33:17Speaker 4: was bought up. It just hasn't been replenished and talk
- 33:20Speaker 4: will be coming up. Well no, no, it will actually
- 33:25Speaker 4: release this Friday.
- 33:26Speaker 5: Yeah, but previous to that you couldn't replenish it. But this,
- 33:30Speaker 5: you know, what I'm saying like is are the the
- 33:35Speaker 5: the China sales that we hear about, are they not
- 33:40Speaker 5: through Game Found? Are they direct to market over there?
- 33:45Speaker 3: My assumption they have, I mean, like we don't. We
- 33:47Speaker 3: don't know. The time we heard about Game Found in China,
- 33:51Speaker 3: it didn't go well, right.
- 33:54Speaker 5: So if Game Found is really just a representation of
- 33:58Speaker 5: really how much people like are spending through the Game
- 34:01Speaker 5: Found and these numbers really don't mean much of anything.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I definitely spent more on amber Sky's in store
- 34:11Speaker 1: at this point by a long shot than the same here.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Well, and the other question does come up. I know
- 34:18Speaker 4: our international community has voice they're paying additional tax on this, correct,
- 34:23Speaker 4: and it's really really bad for that at all. Correct.
- 34:26Speaker 4: So I do think that has been a shift if
- 34:28Speaker 4: you were looking at the stats between what Woe and
- 34:31Speaker 4: winds of Exchange was and the idea of you know,
- 34:33Speaker 4: saving a game to Grim Reminders, to then amber Skies
- 34:38Speaker 4: and now to prophetic visions. So I do think that
- 34:42Speaker 4: this is I guess I would like to see what
- 34:44Speaker 4: is the distribution of sales that are in game found
- 34:48Speaker 4: in US versus those that are international, And again we
- 34:51Speaker 4: don't have that information, but I.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Mean we do know all the power gr decks came
- 34:55Speaker 5: out of Vietnam, and none of a lot of them
- 34:58Speaker 5: was None of the Vietnam name or language decks are
- 35:01Speaker 5: game found back decks. Those are all retail decks. So
- 35:09Speaker 5: like none of those decks would have been bought through
- 35:12Speaker 5: game found because game Pune doesn't do foreign language like that, right,
- 35:16Speaker 5: They're only English printed decks. That was all done by
- 35:20Speaker 5: the local distributor Riku. They ordered all that stuff and
- 35:25Speaker 5: sold at all and the same thing with any any
- 35:29Speaker 5: of the foreign language decks. Those are all retail level decks.
- 35:32Speaker 5: I believe none of that stuff came through Game Found,
- 35:36Speaker 5: and I know we saw we saw decks. I mean
- 35:40Speaker 5: like when I went over to Spain and the international volts.
- 35:44Speaker 5: There are international gr decks of other languages. So there's
- 35:47Speaker 5: definitely some amount of retail happening.
- 35:51Speaker 3: I don't know how much though, and you never will
- 35:56Speaker 3: and we never will. All right, Moving on to update eleven,
- 36:00Speaker 3: A campaign surprise surprise at this point it is actually
- 36:07Speaker 3: that's today. We've made it today, fourteen of the key
- 36:11Speaker 3: Forge Prophetic Visions Game Found campaign. We thank all of
- 36:14Speaker 3: you who have taken part in backing the campaign. Key
- 36:17Speaker 3: Forge is an amazing game. We may be a bit biased,
- 36:21Speaker 3: and we always and we are always happy to see
- 36:23Speaker 3: you continue dedication to the game and the crucible. As
- 36:28Speaker 3: we're nearing the holiday season, the team has been in
- 36:30Speaker 3: a giving mood to get into the holiday spirit. We've
- 36:34Speaker 3: been holding on to the surprise for a little while
- 36:37Speaker 3: now and figure now is the time to reveal a
- 36:40Speaker 3: little present for each of your pledges the Foresight Bundle.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Behold the Foresight Bundle. It is coming to all Stretchical
- 36:48Speaker 3: eligible backers. The bundle will add two prophetic visions, limited
- 36:52Speaker 3: edition for Sight decks and the new purple Foresight Token.
- 36:58Speaker 3: The Foresight Token is done in the design of a
- 37:00Speaker 3: crystal ball with magical clouds circling around to unveil the
- 37:05Speaker 3: prophecy at hand. Use this token on the field to
- 37:08Speaker 3: indicate your inactive prophecies. The Foresight Token features featured in
- 37:14Speaker 3: the for Foresight Bundle. They use this word a lot.
- 37:18Speaker 3: We'll also the limited edition purple crystal Ball only accessible
- 37:22Speaker 3: as a part of the bundle.
- 37:26Speaker 1: So Jeremy probably didn't read it out loud, but you know,
- 37:29Speaker 1: is this.
- 37:30Speaker 5: The opportunity for the Mooning Clown to become a token?
- 37:37Speaker 3: I want it. I want Sydney make it happen. We
- 37:41Speaker 3: need a crystal ball, beautiful the mooney clown logo.
- 37:46Speaker 1: That's our prophecy token.
- 37:47Speaker 5: I love it.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Does he have a little clouds swirling around him too?
- 37:54Speaker 1: I said, some sort of assholary coming on, some green clouds, babe.
- 38:00Speaker 4: So for our radio audience who doesn't know, can you
- 38:04Speaker 4: describe this icon that is there for the team.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Yes, it is a crystal ball.
- 38:11Speaker 4: With no no, not not theirs ours.
- 38:17Speaker 5: Now, if you didn't come to worlds and see it
- 38:19Speaker 5: in person, you'll just have to wait for the door. O.
- 38:23Speaker 3: So at Arcons Corner, not only does AC stand for
- 38:29Speaker 3: Arcons Corner, it also stands for ask clowns, to which
- 38:32Speaker 3: we are not only are misfits, we're as clowns. I
- 38:35Speaker 3: don't have the picture on me, I can't share it
- 38:38Speaker 3: with you, I can't put it in the in the thing,
- 38:40Speaker 3: but it is a clown mooning. He's got his behind out.
- 38:47Speaker 3: And now this will be a token that you can
- 38:49Speaker 3: purchase at our patreon dot com forward slash Arcons Corner.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Okay, so my real question about this, do we need
- 38:57Speaker 4: a token.
- 38:57Speaker 3: For the inactive prophecy? Yeah?
- 39:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it looks cool. It looks cool.
- 39:08Speaker 5: We don't know enough about prophecies to make that decision meaningfully,
- 39:13Speaker 5: but I'm with you, like, do we really need one
- 39:16Speaker 5: for this is the one I'm not using, like you
- 39:19Speaker 5: just stack it under the other one.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I'm just talking about. I definitely need this, guys.
- 39:25Speaker 5: I think you need it so I can borrow it
- 39:27Speaker 5: from you because.
- 39:28Speaker 1: I need both of them, guys.
- 39:29Speaker 4: It looks cool, but do I And yes, if it
- 39:34Speaker 4: looks cool, you definitely need it.
- 39:35Speaker 3: But what are you going to do with it? I
- 39:37Speaker 3: don't know. Look at it.
- 39:40Speaker 4: You get two for foreskin bits too, so foreskin decks.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Yes, we would.
- 39:47Speaker 4: That's it's the foreskin bundle and the Foreskinakin bundle.
- 39:54Speaker 3: See, I told you we'd break him eventually, told.
- 39:57Speaker 1: You and put your money the dar I I am.
- 40:02Speaker 4: I have not been also charging you guys for our
- 40:05Speaker 4: clown's name too, So I've got a lot to go.
- 40:07Speaker 3: He never did name the clown.
- 40:09Speaker 5: But no, he doesn't have a name yet.
- 40:11Speaker 3: It doesn't have a name. We'll name him later. But
- 40:14Speaker 3: so we'll be running some sort of weird contest, so
- 40:17Speaker 3: you can name our clown. Oh maybe his name is Foreskin.
- 40:22Speaker 3: We don't know Foreskin the clown. Oh no, man.
- 40:29Speaker 4: I'm sorry that I've added to this. Speaking of add ons,
- 40:34Speaker 4: our update that came so this year came at one
- 40:37Speaker 4: o'clock on today the fifth, and then at four.
- 40:40Speaker 3: O'clock clock they said, holy shit, we're not making enough money.
- 40:44Speaker 3: So many of you have been asking for a way
- 40:46Speaker 3: to access the add ons without having to pledge. One
- 40:50Speaker 3: of the standard reward tier levels. We had our campaigns
- 40:53Speaker 3: set up in the past that this was not possible.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Something tells me that's bullshit.
- 40:59Speaker 4: But as respect, you have no reason to lie to us.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Come on, man, So you're telling me that before it
- 41:06Speaker 3: was impossible, but now all of a sudden poof, it's possible.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Weirdlogy changes, technology become available.
- 41:15Speaker 5: This is a Domino. This is a Domino question because
- 41:18Speaker 5: you know, he's like he he he loves this stuff.
- 41:23Speaker 5: I'm sure he knows if it's been possible.
- 41:24Speaker 3: Is he in here? All right? He is?
- 41:27Speaker 4: He is here.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Come on up us now, come on up, let's go, Domino.
- 41:31Speaker 3: We got ship to do, all right, Domino? Is this bullshit?
- 41:37Speaker 3: What do we call this? What was the segment? Good?
- 41:39Speaker 4: So what you're really asking is this is asking audience. Yeah,
- 41:43Speaker 4: this asking.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Audience member clown ass.
- 41:48Speaker 4: That is well timed. So what you're saying is that
- 41:55Speaker 4: it's not as possible.
- 41:57Speaker 2: But I think they may have had to set up
- 42:00Speaker 2: in the past. But for people that backalog campaigns, you
- 42:03Speaker 2: don't need to have a pledge level it now. In
- 42:06Speaker 2: fairness though maybe they thought people didn't realize you don't
- 42:10Speaker 2: have to have a pledge but they've actually had them
- 42:13Speaker 2: pre I think it was the second campaign they actually said, Oh,
- 42:16Speaker 2: you don't need to pledge like a tear, you can
- 42:20Speaker 2: just get add ons, Like they literally said that. Don't
- 42:23Speaker 2: quote me, but I'm pretty sure they said that in
- 42:25Speaker 2: the second or third campaign.
- 42:28Speaker 1: That does sound familiar.
- 42:29Speaker 5: H's what you're telling come in one of them. You
- 42:32Speaker 5: could like pledge and then be like, oh, I don't
- 42:35Speaker 5: actually want the pledge, and then you just have to
- 42:37Speaker 5: spend all that money on add ons. Wasn't that always possible,
- 42:42Speaker 5: Like they wouldn't give you your money back, but you
- 42:44Speaker 5: could like cancel your pledge and then buy whatever crap.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really weird how they've been saying these things up.
- 42:54Speaker 2: I mean, there hasn't been any weird stuff of like
- 42:58Speaker 2: spelling errors or you know, well, yes there has amounts
- 43:02Speaker 2: not eqaling the right amount and not giving you know,
- 43:07Speaker 2: stretch goals to people that back after the campaign, which
- 43:10Speaker 2: they did in the first one, which was really bad.
- 43:13Speaker 3: So what you're telling me is this is shit. This
- 43:15Speaker 3: is always something that is that's been possible, but they're
- 43:20Speaker 3: just now figuring it out.
- 43:24Speaker 2: I think it's also because they're still new as bad
- 43:27Speaker 2: as that sounds they're still new to using this and
- 43:31Speaker 2: it's one or two people. I don't want to say
- 43:34Speaker 2: who it is, but like, it's not the entire team
- 43:37Speaker 2: that's using like the game found campaign. As far as
- 43:40Speaker 2: I can tell, there's only really one person replying that
- 43:43Speaker 2: to stuff and who's like ghosting when he's looking at
- 43:47Speaker 2: comments like oh I made this error, right? So I
- 43:51Speaker 2: think they may set up with the team originally, but
- 43:53Speaker 2: once it's set up, it's just one person and it's
- 43:55Speaker 2: only as good as they are at using game Found
- 43:59Speaker 2: them cells, right, So who knows.
- 44:02Speaker 4: I do like the idea, Domino that they could be
- 44:05Speaker 4: opening it up so people are aware, so I will
- 44:07Speaker 4: try and think the best of them.
- 44:09Speaker 2: And but you guys don't want to pledge one dollar
- 44:12Speaker 2: lass that check. There was like five people that did.
- 44:18Speaker 3: Speaking of what you can do, you can now just
- 44:21Speaker 3: gift gg a dollar.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Oh you can always do that.
- 44:25Speaker 5: I've been doing that for a long time, gifting you
- 44:28Speaker 5: a dollar every month too.
- 44:31Speaker 3: This is true. What do you mean you all of us? Fucker,
- 44:34Speaker 3: you're part of the same thing I am.
- 44:36Speaker 4: Thank you for your donation.
- 44:38Speaker 3: So now also give I am also a Patreon too,
- 44:44Speaker 3: But you can just give them a dollar and you
- 44:46Speaker 3: can have access to all the add on items you want.
- 44:51Speaker 4: I think it's reasonable, Like that doesn't go far today.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fairly.
- 44:55Speaker 3: It doesn't even fucking matter because all the stuff that
- 44:59Speaker 3: they ever can one hundred percent welcome. But all the
- 45:03Speaker 3: things that they released in the game Found were like
- 45:06Speaker 3: is in the game Found ends up coming out sometime anyways.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Like it doesn't like there's nothing ever special that you
- 45:14Speaker 3: could only get in the game foul. You can only
- 45:17Speaker 3: get the future site decks, the four skin decks, which
- 45:20Speaker 3: we don't even know why those are special, and another
- 45:26Speaker 3: special order treatment, which.
- 45:27Speaker 5: Is funny because they didn't do one for Amber Skies.
- 45:31Speaker 3: They had the sky guaranteed Skybies.
- 45:34Speaker 5: But they didn't do a special treatment.
- 45:37Speaker 4: It was just on that yet.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just a Skybies. You had to guaranteed fucking spectral.
- 45:48Speaker 3: In g R they didn't have. They didn't have a
- 45:52Speaker 3: special treatment.
- 45:53Speaker 5: There special treatment in g R.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Was there a special Yeah?
- 45:57Speaker 5: Yeah, has two special treatments because they got the store
- 46:01Speaker 5: champ decks.
- 46:04Speaker 3: And guess and guess how much it mattered none because
- 46:06Speaker 3: of the deck stocks. It still fucking sucks. It's still good.
- 46:10Speaker 4: All right, Well, you've really turned it up here.
- 46:13Speaker 5: I have to be my way to collect all of
- 46:16Speaker 5: these stupid borders that suckered into, like hosting the key
- 46:20Speaker 5: Forge museum. His idea, he was the choices I have made.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't help you.
- 46:29Speaker 5: Don't like you care about having a foil freaking Wookie
- 46:32Speaker 5: card even though it does the exact same thing as
- 46:34Speaker 5: a nonfoil.
- 46:36Speaker 3: No, I don't. I just have one Wookie card first off.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're so happy about foil.
- 46:42Speaker 3: I do want foils, but still I know what's gonna happen.
- 46:45Speaker 3: It's gonna be.
- 46:47Speaker 5: Because there's always been the case with foils. They don't
- 46:52Speaker 5: mean anything.
- 46:53Speaker 4: Boys, I'm gonna interrupt this because we now have six
- 46:56Speaker 4: hundred and sixty seven backers and we are turning people
- 46:59Speaker 4: onto this game found campaign. I'm really proud of.
- 47:03Speaker 5: Because they didn't do any sort of we want his
- 47:07Speaker 5: dollar pledge or hurt.
- 47:10Speaker 3: We didn't get any sort of like preview cards this year.
- 47:16Speaker 3: I don't think any of the articles, but.
- 47:19Speaker 5: I think they're like, yeah, the time they give us
- 47:23Speaker 5: preview cards, they change them.
- 47:25Speaker 3: No, because they have seen that it does not move
- 47:28Speaker 3: the needle at all, so they just decided that they're
- 47:31Speaker 3: not going to do that anymore.
- 47:32Speaker 5: I mean, I absolutely agree with giving us preview cards.
- 47:35Speaker 5: Is like, all right, people who are already well aware
- 47:38Speaker 5: of what's going on, here's a preview card.
- 47:41Speaker 2: No, it's like night and day. You're supposed to do
- 47:44Speaker 2: that for any card game, Like it costs them zero money.
- 47:48Speaker 2: It's actually so terrible that they're not giving it as
- 47:52Speaker 2: a marketing aspect, even if it doesn't move the needle.
- 47:56Speaker 2: It's so bad.
- 48:00Speaker 4: You said, you said an m word.
- 48:02Speaker 5: What was that to the squear jar?
- 48:05Speaker 4: He said, marketing.
- 48:06Speaker 5: That's not a swear word.
- 48:07Speaker 4: No, it is. No, in all seriousness, he's on a
- 48:12Speaker 4: present right. It is very easy marketing.
- 48:14Speaker 1: But we.
- 48:19Speaker 3: Keep going Domino, don't let sho. I'll mute him if
- 48:22Speaker 3: you need me to.
- 48:23Speaker 2: No, I just feel like there must be a reason why,
- 48:28Speaker 2: Like it seems kind of of an odd choice not
- 48:31Speaker 2: to give it to people, even if the community is
- 48:34Speaker 2: drinking almost any card game that I know, if they
- 48:37Speaker 2: have the opportunity to this is like pretty straightforward to
- 48:42Speaker 2: get that hype going for people to go and quick
- 48:45Speaker 2: on the campaign, and that they were doing it in
- 48:48Speaker 2: the past, and there's no explanation why it's kind of
- 48:52Speaker 2: it seems bad.
- 48:52Speaker 3: To my view. Well, they tried to give us things
- 48:57Speaker 3: and we can't have nice things.
- 48:58Speaker 5: So us whoever does the artwork, was too busy making
- 49:02Speaker 5: yellow deck packages for us to look.
- 49:04Speaker 1: At the yellow.
- 49:05Speaker 3: I don't mind the yellow. Oh yeah, I'm fine with
- 49:08Speaker 3: on the Crucible Clash decks. I think they look fine.
- 49:12Speaker 3: All right. Who's given the obligatory Z warning? Because now
- 49:17Speaker 3: we're going back to update ten, which was on the fourth,
- 49:23Speaker 3: we're going to spoilers. Yeah, I'm sorry, going back to
- 49:27Speaker 3: the fourth for update ten.
- 49:30Speaker 5: Oh, this is why they don't give out previews, because
- 49:33Speaker 5: they're this quality and it doesn't gain any excited who previous.
- 49:37Speaker 4: If you don't want to see something, you don't want
- 49:40Speaker 4: to hear about it. If you stayed this long, we're
- 49:42Speaker 4: proud of you.
- 49:44Speaker 3: All right. So for this previews section, we got dis
- 49:48Speaker 3: and logos. I don't know if they're going to make
- 49:50Speaker 3: it through all the houses. I guess they do. They
- 49:52Speaker 3: got what four days left?
- 49:54Speaker 1: Well they I mean they also did Sanctum Oh yeah.
- 49:58Speaker 4: Okay, he started on nine in set you want to go,
- 50:01Speaker 4: you want.
- 50:02Speaker 3: To start, Let's start on uh December third, which is
- 50:06Speaker 3: update nine, which is redemption and sanctum.
- 50:12Speaker 4: I forgot about you made it work, and he just
- 50:15Speaker 4: didn't listen to me. So that's the way to go.
- 50:17Speaker 3: So let's start out with Sir Juan. He is a
- 50:22Speaker 3: three power one armor night human play. Capture a third
- 50:26Speaker 3: rounded down of your opponent's ember, fate, lose a third
- 50:31Speaker 3: rounded down of your ember. Now, I remember I believe fates.
- 50:36Speaker 3: I put them under my opponent's prophecy card.
- 50:40Speaker 5: And when you put them under your prophecy card, and
- 50:43Speaker 5: when it triggers your opponent reads the card.
- 50:47Speaker 3: Yes, when my opponent triggers it, then that's the card
- 50:50Speaker 3: that pops.
- 50:51Speaker 5: And like the I don't remember what any of our
- 50:53Speaker 5: prophecies are.
- 50:54Speaker 3: Now we don't have a ton. I think we have
- 50:57Speaker 3: a couple of them. But yeah, not bad. I guess
- 51:02Speaker 3: they don't get to see the fate, so they don't
- 51:04Speaker 3: know what they're getting. They just know it's something bad.
- 51:08Speaker 3: That's a pretty strong fate.
- 51:09Speaker 5: Like if they're easy to complete prophecies like that card,
- 51:14Speaker 5: that card a common has.
- 51:16Speaker 3: Some potential potential.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, If if there's a lot of fate getting triggered,
- 51:24Speaker 1: then this this seems pretty good.
- 51:26Speaker 5: Now if it's not getting turggered a lot. The capture
- 51:31Speaker 5: a third.
- 51:33Speaker 4: Three to one, I mean he keeps someone off key.
- 51:35Speaker 5: To I mean it's one, two or three. Amber percent
- 51:39Speaker 5: of the games like those cards already exist and often
- 51:43Speaker 5: come with additional effects. So or just straight capture three, right, yeah,
- 51:48Speaker 5: And the fact that once it's the point that you're
- 51:52Speaker 5: capturing three, you're not taking them off key anyways, So
- 51:58Speaker 5: it is not scaling Amber control in a meaningful way.
- 52:03Speaker 5: We got pretty good back right as a six and
- 52:08Speaker 5: what six sixty eight now calls them to lose one?
- 52:12Speaker 5: That'd be more like us. So yeah, the fate seems good,
- 52:19Speaker 5: all right, Teal. Now the rest of the card.
- 52:23Speaker 3: I think it's fine. It's agreed possible me as for
- 52:28Speaker 3: a turn, and I wouldn't.
- 52:29Speaker 4: I would not put it as as because again I
- 52:31Speaker 4: think you get to nine year Yeah I get to nine.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Yeah, now you're s o l but tell it our
- 52:37Speaker 3: three power human monk. Each friendly creature gains after fight
- 52:41Speaker 3: heal three damage from this card's neighbor.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Wouldn't that be Tilner Tilnar?
- 52:48Speaker 3: Yeah? Sure? Why not? Probably? Uh fate fully heal each creature.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Your opponent gains one for each creature healed this way.
- 52:59Speaker 5: Real random.
- 53:01Speaker 1: I mean, so it is hard to set up cleansing wave.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Cleansing wave can sometimes.
- 53:09Speaker 3: Be good, but it's very variable.
- 53:12Speaker 5: But it's not that.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's it's I think it's better and
- 53:18Speaker 1: sealed than ARCon. This is hard, even harder probably to
- 53:22Speaker 1: time the triggering of it, right, so it's probably worse
- 53:27Speaker 1: than cleansing wave.
- 53:29Speaker 5: No, yeah, this card's bad. Yeah, you don't want this card.
- 53:33Speaker 4: I mean, the good news is that it's usually not
- 53:36Speaker 4: a good card. Yeah, I mean this this is coming
- 53:39Speaker 4: in in uncommon, so I appreciate that. What alarms me
- 53:43Speaker 4: most is with the fight after fight, heal three from
- 53:46Speaker 4: each of this card's neighbors, so everyone's gaining it. But
- 53:49Speaker 4: if you notice, we have three to one three, and
- 53:52Speaker 4: the next card, which we haven't spoiled yet, it is
- 53:53Speaker 4: also three power, so very very small power compared to
- 53:57Speaker 4: where we've seen a number of.
- 53:59Speaker 3: All of aanked him before. All right, let's go to well, okay,
- 54:06Speaker 3: monks have always been low power, but sir Juan, yeah,
- 54:10Speaker 3: he's only a three power and he's a knight. Normally
- 54:12Speaker 3: those are four or five.
- 54:13Speaker 5: Because he's look at him, he's a poser.
- 54:17Speaker 3: Poser night okay, oracle Zoon looks three power Monk after reap,
- 54:23Speaker 3: move each ember from a friendly creature to the commons.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Ply for each ember moved this way, he'll two damage
- 54:30Speaker 3: from a creature.
- 54:32Speaker 5: It's super slow with a meaningless effect.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Its outside of the nothing there's nothing zero.
- 54:39Speaker 5: Out captured, No the movie friendly creature of the common
- 54:42Speaker 5: supply captured too. And then this guy reaps and you
- 54:46Speaker 5: throw it in the trash. That's fine, it's really slow
- 54:49Speaker 5: on rare. This should be play slash reap or something.
- 54:55Speaker 5: It's it's not a good card.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Unplay it might be better, well if you you have
- 55:00Speaker 3: the play read.
- 55:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think that you really care much about
- 55:04Speaker 4: the heel to damage is just a bonus, But yes,
- 55:07Speaker 4: I do think it needs to be a play.
- 55:08Speaker 5: This needs a fate where it lets you take all
- 55:10Speaker 5: the amber off a creature or something.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Mm hmm, yeah it may be.
- 55:17Speaker 1: If so, this card needs help, yeah, like who knows.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Inspiration could be common in the set, in which case
- 55:25Speaker 1: this card suddenly gets probably pretty.
- 55:27Speaker 5: Good maybe, but it gets mediocre all.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Right, I guess its right, depends it depends on gett
- 55:37Speaker 1: gate keepers.
- 55:40Speaker 5: Hell, this car could say, reap and you gain all
- 55:45Speaker 5: the amber off of a creature, it would still just
- 55:47Speaker 5: kind of be like, yeah, it's still slow and it's
- 55:50Speaker 5: going to get killed.
- 55:51Speaker 3: Yeah, well to be a mus kill at that point though.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Still yeah, but.
- 55:56Speaker 5: I'm saying it's still wouldn't be like in in the
- 55:59Speaker 5: scheme of Forge and like, remind you, this card already
- 56:03Speaker 5: exists in the sins the one I'm saying, like, this
- 56:06Speaker 5: card is not.
- 56:09Speaker 3: Interesting nor special good. Yeah, that's fair. Moving into Redemption
- 56:14Speaker 3: brass Kline. Brass Klin games skirmish while on a flank
- 56:18Speaker 3: and taunt while not on a flank fate for the
- 56:22Speaker 3: rest of your turn. Friendly creatures cannot fight.
- 56:28Speaker 4: Sorry clogging.
- 56:32Speaker 5: Yep, this card is a bad common Yeah, I mean
- 56:37Speaker 5: and Ton's okay, but like you also wanted to have
- 56:40Speaker 5: when it's on the flank, right, so it's not always taunting.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Well once it's not on a.
- 56:47Speaker 5: Yeah, when he's got neighbors.
- 56:49Speaker 3: When he has neighbors, so you can't can theory put
- 56:53Speaker 3: two creatures around him.
- 56:54Speaker 5: Too, I mean, he'll be finish and sealed and not
- 56:58Speaker 5: matter anywhere else.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh man, I can't read this card because I
- 57:05Speaker 3: need to zoom in let's zoom in a little bit.
- 57:09Speaker 3: I can't see that. Yeah, Ragatha treachery or I'm sorry,
- 57:13Speaker 3: five power mutant treachery. I forgot brass clients also a mutant.
- 57:19Speaker 3: Each enemy creature gains after rep deal three damage to
- 57:22Speaker 3: each your Agatha's neighbors.
- 57:24Speaker 4: It also says it if you just scroll down, Wookie, no.
- 57:29Speaker 3: I just zoomed in. I'm good.
- 57:30Speaker 5: Each enemy creature gains free damage each of us. Like
- 57:39Speaker 5: it's still like when there's two Reregratha's on the board,
- 57:43Speaker 5: it seems goofy. Maybe I just want it to be
- 57:46Speaker 5: more interesting than it is because this isn't very interesting.
- 57:51Speaker 3: So it's going to my opponent.
- 57:53Speaker 5: Yeah, and it didn't get the the other thing, the versatile,
- 57:58Speaker 5: so yeah, got that on. Each enemy creature gains reap
- 58:04Speaker 5: and its neighbors start dying slowly or fastly, depending on
- 58:08Speaker 5: their size. It's like, I don't know, there's another card where.
- 58:11Speaker 3: You're just kind of like, okay, yeah, it's whatever. It's
- 58:15Speaker 3: five powers, so they maybe it doesn't even reap for anything,
- 58:19Speaker 3: so it doesn't really.
- 58:20Speaker 5: They've made this card two other times, but just straight
- 58:22Speaker 5: up kills neighbors at the end of turn.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Right, yeah, yeah, but they gave a versatile those times.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:27Speaker 5: Yeah, So this guy isn't as good because he doesn't
- 58:30Speaker 5: have versator. I mean, he isn't as good for your
- 58:32Speaker 5: opponent because he doesn't have versatile, but his effect isn't
- 58:35Speaker 5: quite as good outside of if they have a big
- 58:37Speaker 5: boarder reapers like then everything dies. So possibly it's you know,
- 58:44Speaker 5: it's interesting, what's the gilia and whatever? Right, they kind
- 58:50Speaker 5: of have a similar effect.
- 58:52Speaker 4: There's seven seven power and it's going to do four
- 58:55Speaker 4: damage on but.
- 58:56Speaker 5: This is five power on your side. That makes it
- 58:58Speaker 5: even harder to deal with.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Correct, I don't know.
- 59:01Speaker 4: I mean, like I'm finding uncommon.
- 59:07Speaker 1: It don't.
- 59:10Speaker 3: It's still it too, okay, gross a monk. Each creature
- 59:15Speaker 3: is considered to have zero armor. Each creature cannot gain armor.
- 59:20Speaker 3: Fate destroy a friendly creature for each enemy mutant creature.
- 59:25Speaker 5: Is armored.
- 59:27Speaker 4: Really mattered, No, And so I think this is more.
- 59:31Speaker 4: I think this is more for your storyline events and for.
- 59:35Speaker 3: There gonna no no, no, no no no.
- 59:39Speaker 4: But what I'm saying is if you actually look up
- 59:41Speaker 4: and I think this is the when.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Over talking about Sanctum usually has it. Yeah, sanct Sanctum
- 59:49Speaker 2: because they want to have mutes with them.
- 59:51Speaker 4: So and if you look at it, but if you
- 59:54Speaker 4: looked up at the top, it said this internal strife
- 59:58Speaker 4: is reflecting the composition of Keith Prophetic Sky's decks. Sanctum
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: and Redemption share one of the seven house slots in
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: the set and cannot appear together in the same deck.
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: So I do think this is very thematic to be
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: able to have this card in. I don't think it's good,
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: but I think it's thematic.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I agree, thematic, But I'm saying like armor
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: almost never really matters, and then like, what's it doing.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: It's neutering what is often a totally mid tier house.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, no, I agree, I agree on that.
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: Yes, I think we get some reprints. Talk. Yeah, do
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: not care.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: We're going to talk.
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: We can go through them quick. What do you guys
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: think about the idea of putting the two houses at
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: clash when they show up, they're showing up at fifty
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: percent of the chance. So if I pull Sanctum or Redemption, if.
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: I'm half as likely to get Sanctum as I was before,
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: I'm okay with this.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: But now you've got a shitty Redemption.
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: I don't know it's got vaults, Blessing.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, all right, so let's let's go through your cards.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Then, all right, you're gonna be able to find out flank,
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: shifting battlefield, Joya's back repaint anybody, Yeah, alright, slow game.
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: Yeah, since we have this out flank, each of your
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: Sanctum flank creatures, captures two from his opponent, shifting battlefield
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: move a friendly creature.
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: And each of these cards.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: But again not everyone read.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: There are three capture cards here to work with our
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: capture killer above.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: Rothias is back if you cared, and the Corpulent Collector. Yeah,
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: that's a lot of that is three capture cards. And
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: then for redemption we got citizens shricks. That's exciting. Walt's
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Blessing Dark Centurion. At least he gives capture pips, Follow
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: the Leader and Purifier of Souls.
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: A non mute, no destroyed effects, no destroyed effects.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: Yeah, those are all there. And then we can move
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: into dis and logos, which I guess now this this
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: is not fighting against Sanctum. They've become friends and now
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: it's dis logos that hate each other.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: Right, I don't know how this is not one plus
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: the stories.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: Now I may have totally made that up or not
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: break the acolyte. You decide Pied Piper three power beast
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: or Pied viper Thank you, beast that has elusive three power.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: If there are more enemy creatures than friendly creatures, each
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: enemy creature gains after reap, give your opponent control of
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: this creature.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I can see this being super annoying for your opponent
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: and playing cards that are super annoying for your opponent,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: or that.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: Is an interestingly annoying card. But it's also like a
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: a like, oh look I capture all by Amber there
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: you go, all right, Yeah, it's not It is not,
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: by any means a good card.
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: So can we see that please?
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: No, No, But with with scenario, Well, if.
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: I just captured Amber on let's say Drumble, and then
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: I reap to give you control of it, that's that's
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: real good for me.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: I don't know if you're playing Drumble and then also
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: reaping with Drumble in the same turn. No, probably not.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Just no.
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: It says if there are more enemy creatures than friendly
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: each enemy creature games, give your control of this creature yet,
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: so you're gonna wait for the next.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: Turn but Jumble is probably dead by then I'm problem,
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: I'm gonna Drumble is dead.
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: If your opponent had a Drumble on the board. Well,
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: as a common, this card is wretched well and that yes,
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: this is not the card you want to make a
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: common and have people having to figure out multiple copies
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: because multiple copies of this isn't in this game. So
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: it transfers and then loses the other reaps because it's
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: no longer yours.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: Yes, that's correct.
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: Yeah, but would gain any after reap effects that your
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: opponent's board is giving because it would gain it and
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: you're still in the after reap window.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: Okay, So what I was really more going for for
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: Pied Vip is if I go ahead and have Drumble
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: and then on the future turn, I just simply drop Viper.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: Now you can go you're.
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: Enemies creature, so it doesn't matter if you played pie Viper.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: If you're you're you're right good, And I am trying
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: to make it better, and I guess it is.
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: It is already. I can see it making a cluster?
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: Can I Can I tell? Can I tell you that?
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Because all it's saying is that if I'm the opponent
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: unless it's gonna benefit me. I'm just instead of reaping,
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: I'm with the fight into things. It's only a three,
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: so unless it's has some sort of protection.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: Okay, anyway, Wait, did you guys hear that? Nobody heard that.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: I already heard a judge call and the cards not
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: even released. Yeah, so parasitic irachanoid, two power beasts destroyed.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: An enemy creature captures one from its own side, fate,
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: a friendly creature captures three from your side. I mean.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Steel, Yeah, good.
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: This is a good fake card. This is the kind
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: of this is. This is really good. So they complete
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: it and they they can know what's in your deck
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: so they can try to set up a situation where
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: they have no creatures, so it may fizzle. Yeah, but
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: I mean, like slow steel is still good steel.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Yeah, even destroyed as solid right, So yeah, I like this.
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: Yeah I don't. I like that as a common.
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: The wording is a little weird because I'm putting it.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: I'm okay with putting it on their fate, right, am
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: I putting on my fate?
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: No? No, no, you play under your fates. They trigger your fate.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: And they have to.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: They trigger your prophecy and then do whatever the fate's say.
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: So like, if you're playing this card and I trigger
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: your prophecy, I read it, and I say, a friendly
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: creature captures three from its own side. Well friendly means
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: my creature and my side.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Eddie of disks, you get a pip a vember every
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: time you play it. Play, shuffle a random card from
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: your opponent's hand back into their deck. Shoot fate. Your
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: opponent shuffles their discard pile into their deck. They draw
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: a card that seems a bad fate.
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: This doesn't seem like a particularly good card in any direction.
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: I mean, it's one less card they got to draw
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: back through it, which if it's a crappy creature, good.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: Huh.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: I guess it's mind better well mind.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: From your opponent's hand. This shuffles it back into their deck,
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: so you're that's our mask.
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: Is this better than mine? Bart shuffle it or put
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: it in their discard?
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: Put it in their discard.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I think it depends. If you're playing the dr you're
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: better shuffling it in, right, or guys they're playing it
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: in guystoid, you're better off shuffling it in.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Would you the EP back in their or would you
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: rather have it in their discard pile where they got
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: to work to get it back.
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: If it's a crappy creature, I want them to draw
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: it again. Yeah I should.
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: I want it in the discard, and I think that's
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: where the change comes in. It depends on what the
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: card is and what it's going to be able to
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: impact the game.
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: Yeah, that's I'm just wondering overall which one I would
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: actually perf. And it's hard to say. It's hard to say.
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: And here you don't even actually reveal it.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: That is very true. Oh yeah, so you don't even
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: know what you yet.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: Yeah, well, but does it matter?
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Satisfying to see Z's face that one card holden, But
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: now I can.
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: Always make a face like you did something.
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: Yeah, connect to me.
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: That lets me bluff more. I like it?
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: All right, are assembly common speaking? What's going on?
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: No, you're just being roboto.
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: Yeah, we're just talking over you.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: Okay. Reassembly required November. Every time you play it, play
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: put a creature into its owner's archives. Fate just scarred
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: your arc more archive hate common.
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: So it's bounce.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: It's I mean, I like it into its owners archives.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: I think that.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Especially well, but.
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: I guess you can target your own to redo your
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: playoffs totally. And I still feel like this is like
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: more like an Oncommon, but.
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Not if you're going to play it on Unstable Dale.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: I think I think reassembly required is perfectly fine. I
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: think it's a good card for what's there archives I
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: have control over it, Amber Pip, I like it in Common.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Why do we give the coolest names to the worst cards?
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: Unstable Dale? Unstable Dale three powers Cyborg after reap, deal
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: one damage to each creature for each card in your hand.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: Fate deal three damage to each creature. He's a board
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: clear on a reap with a three power are I.
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: Don't know if they're gonna have some Uh.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Well, I mean I guess yeah, got six cards, you know,
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: six cards in your hand.
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: I'm just thinking this guy plus a hologramophone.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: Mm hmm. Don't wish Holo gramophone back in the set.
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: This guy plus hologramma phone. He's a board wipe every reap.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: This is true except himself, kind of like that dinosaur.
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: That's good man.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: I don't hate it about Spartasaurus.
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: He's not common, all right? This Fate deal three damage
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: to each friend. Like I mean, like these these fate
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: effects are better on average than what they originally previewed. Like,
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: these can have a meaningful impact on the game. And
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: if fates trigger every every turn to every other turn,
- 1:11:57Speaker 5: it could be brutal. Could be If it's fates trigger
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: two or three times a game, well, I guess that
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: is a rare turn. If they only trigger, you know,
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: once or twice a game, then not quite as brutal.
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: I mean, clearly, Uh zeph punch artists four power robot
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: after the top card of your deck and the top
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: card of your discard pile. I like him.
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a good ability, that's a that's a witch level.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: It's very slow, but could be good.
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: And notice that this ends up with four power two yep,
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: I might say we're going to be in three power.
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: But I might be able to read this.
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: Maybe is a robot not a whoosy little monk? Yeah, okay, good,
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: damn it?
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: No other guys Packers Yeah against Detroit, all right, so
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: against reprints. Yeah, if you've been listening, I might have
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: the Packer game on in the background. By might, I
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: mean I do. And they've battled their way back to winning,
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: and then just let Green Bay score or let Detroit
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: score another touchdown. Why not, because that's what packers do,
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: all right. In the reprint section, we have a Gift
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: of Ember coming back, Banish, Dark Minion, Try Hard, and
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: Creeping Oblivion.
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: None of those are truly bad cards. No, Dark Minion's
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: little iffy, but I guess Dark Minions with Gifts of Ambers.
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: It really all depends. Are we going to have Maleficorn
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: back in? No? Okay?
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: Yeah, but I mean I don't hate any of that stuff.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: Come back for logos Cutthroat Research, Wormhole, Tech Candle, Unit,
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: cyber Clone, and Captain Nemo.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: That looks slow cyber Clones.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: But Cutthroat, Research.
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: Candle it isn't bad. Cutthroat was only sort of good
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: because it was in a set with Eddie, right and
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: now we don't we haven't seen.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: That although technically right now, I mean Piles November are
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: a thing. Cut Throat it was in World's Glide as well,
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: so you could still use this.
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: This is I mean, Wormhole is one of those cards
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: that you know, if it's left alive, it makes a difference.
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: But yeah, I mean, like I'm more interested in the
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: disc right now than the logos. This is, this is
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: this is this logos there is a single f right
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: like Zef Punch is the only one who has any
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: actual efficiency. Candle Unit doesn't count because he never lives. Like,
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: but this is not efficiency logos.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: Right now, No, you're not wrong.
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: That can be said.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: Okay, oh, we have six hundred and seventy backers. We're
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: killing it, crushing it.
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: Are we done? I mean I'm saying like we hit
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: all the.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: Yes we've had. I believe we've hit all the updates,
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: that is everything that we are up to date.
- 1:15:32Speaker 5: Well, and then h ops a sheep.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: Okay, okays the sheep go ahead. Yeah, now, okay great.
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: And then I suck at key Forge because I let
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: Barlow pick the deck I have to play in the Yeah,
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: this is this is why I suck at key Forge.
- 1:15:50Speaker 5: I trust other people to make good decisions.
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: I don't know why you'd be like, yeah, he'll pick
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: a perfectly fine deck. And then it's like I picked
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: the busted one.
- 1:15:59Speaker 5: I'm he picked one. I mean we are playing this
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: format where he gets to play arc I have to
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: play reversal. So he set himself off to get a win.
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: Not so certain about me. I feel like I'm a
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: sacrificial cheap.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: You definitely decided you make bad choices.
- 1:16:16Speaker 5: Yep, I'll just put it bad choice.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Put it there, you made a bad.
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: I'm on Daz course team and he assigned me this
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: this individual, so somehow it's going to be Dress's fault.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: But only full of days left. If you are wanting
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: to get some prophetic visions, make sure you sign up
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: there I don't know, or.
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: Four days, so that should put it on the ninth
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: of December.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Or day before this podcast came out, probably probably probably, or.
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: Talk to your game store and make sure they're set
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: up to get their pledge. And I'm gonna sign it
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: right now to make sure we talk to our game
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: It's on my list to do tomorrow. It's on my
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: list to do tomorrow because I wanted to see how
- 1:17:12Speaker 5: many people want to commit before the I am pretty
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: certain that if if your game store has an account
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: with Ghost Galaxy, they don't actually have to pledge. It
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: looks like I I mean through my game store, who
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: is not pledged on the game found I can add
- 1:17:34Speaker 5: to kart right now the retail pledges, so your game
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: store can go into the Ghost Galaxies UH store and
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: pick between the large, medium, and small pledge. So you
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: want to talk to your store so they order the
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: right amount for you guys. And now, so what you
- 1:17:53Speaker 5: got to release this tomorrow because otherwise this is pointless.
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: And then also if you're doing that and you want
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: to those token deck boxes, they can order those right
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: now too and get the or not the token, but
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: the deck storage boxes for all the previous sets. Those
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: are also available through the portal. So go to your
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: store buy stuff that way.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: I'll do both.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: Packers are making me upset. But anyways, with that being said,
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: that's gonna do it for us this week. We will
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: see you all next week.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Happy forge and everyone, may the Forge be with you.
