- 0:29Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30Ooh, today we're talking about figuring out who are 10 people
- 0:35that inspire you. And I'm not talking about
- 0:37keeping just a standard list of the big names.
- 0:42Of course, we all can sit there and say that we are inspired by
- 0:45great leaders of the past and we all have our favorites and you
- 0:49know Mother Teresa being one of mine dr.
- 0:52Wayne Dyer being one of mine, dr.
- 0:56Joseph Murphy. Another one Neville.
- 0:58Goddard all people who have inspired Hired me and shifted my
- 1:01life and changed my life in ways.
- 1:04I can't even begin to say I'm talking about looking for the
- 1:09people that inspire you that are around you that are in contact
- 1:14with you. The ones that you maybe, grew up
- 1:17with the ones that you can think about.
- 1:19And use this inspiration in a little bit of a different way.
- 1:23So I'll tell you, my father is someone who really, really
- 1:28inspired me. He was hard on On me in the
- 1:31sense of he had high expectations and he always
- 1:33taught me that you can always do more, you can always do better.
- 1:38You can always think. Now, I have been told by many
- 1:41people over the years and this business that I'm in that, you
- 1:44know, that was wrong. He should have his celebrated,
- 1:47your successes, and he did, celebrate my successes.
- 1:49There's no question about it. He did celebrate my successes,
- 1:53but when he wanted me to know that there was a different level
- 1:58to go to, and I'm grateful to him, That I am very grateful to
- 2:02him for that because he never just sat on his Laurels and
- 2:06didn't think about what he could do right up until the time he
- 2:08passed away. And it was oh, so early, he was
- 2:1057 years old when he died. And it's just, it's still shocks
- 2:15me that he was so young when he died.
- 2:17And he would say things to me that were just, you know,
- 2:21inspirational in the sense of you've got to remember, you
- 2:27always get to decide how you show up.
- 2:30Up, you got to decide the things you want to focus on.
- 2:33You can always better yourself, you can always learn more as
- 2:36long as you're alive and your brain is working and your heart
- 2:40is pumping. You can always learn more and
- 2:42that that sense of learning that he gave to me was an absolute
- 2:48inspiration and and he's one that I keep on my list all the
- 2:52time and think about all the time.
- 2:54And the reason why I wanted to bring this up is because when
- 2:56you look for people around you that inspire you, when you look
- 2:59for the things that are But in your world around you and you
- 3:04say okay I'm going to use this as an inspiration to myself
- 3:07where I'm going to use this as a this person as inspiration to
- 3:10myself, you can actually cause you know them, I can sit there
- 3:14and I can say, wow, I wonder if this person whether they're here
- 3:17or not anymore cause my father's not gone so I have to use as a,
- 3:21okay? So I wonder what he would think
- 3:24right. Now now I actually have a very
- 3:27interesting concept with this because I feel like I'm always
- 3:29tapped into my dad. Add.
- 3:31So I always pay attention to it, and I always kind of go to this
- 3:34place where I have conversations with him.
- 3:36And I know how proud he is of me.
- 3:39And even as a grown woman, do I want my father to be proud of
- 3:42me? Yes.
- 3:44And if you're listening, and that's not your thing and you
- 3:46like, I don't need anybody to be proud of me.
- 3:49Have at it for yourself, that's perfect.
- 3:51But for me, I still want to know that.
- 3:53My dad's proud of me, I want to show up and sometimes that stops
- 3:56me from doing things that I shouldn't do, and it stops me
- 3:59from being stupid and it, Really pushes me for instance, if I'm
- 4:04working on something in business.
- 4:06And I'm trying to decide on something, I will think to
- 4:08myself, okay? All right, Dad, let's have a
- 4:12conversation about this. Would you do this?
- 4:14Would you do this? And I - Lee, I always get an
- 4:17answer and the answer feels so solid.
- 4:20So I stick with it and it feels great.
- 4:22And I will tell you just having that little coverage knowing
- 4:26that from the other side, I am tapped into him.
- 4:30I Feel like I have a whole Vortex of energy that comes to
- 4:34me that is undeniable and rarely wrong.
- 4:41I've made some very very interesting choices that have
- 4:45really paid off and they have paid off because I made them and
- 4:52I felt solid about them and in the final analysis they were
- 4:57always the right choices and some people question In them.
- 5:01But you know what, it always works out and I think when you
- 5:05have your, you know, your list of people that inspire you, so I
- 5:08like to keep a rotating list of 10 people that inspire me.
- 5:11And if there's something I see if I see even a little video,
- 5:15I'm like, okay, that inspires me, I'll watch it.
- 5:17I'll pour into it. So it's like and you can do is
- 5:20like I tend to change the list about every two months or so,
- 5:24but I will take something from those people.
- 5:27I'm surrounded by books all the time, I'll pull the books out.
- 5:30I say, okay, this is my book for, you know, this amount of
- 5:33time I'm going to read this. And right now I'm in the midst
- 5:37of a Wayne Dyer thing where if you've never listened to Wayne
- 5:39Dyer or read any of those books, do yourself a favor, I'll pull
- 5:42them out, listen to them, read them, devour them because they
- 5:47are incredible. And he was I had the privilege
- 5:51of meeting with him and working with him.
- 5:53And I will tell you just an amazing, amazing Soul, tons of
- 5:58books. I think he has over 40 or 50
- 6:00books so Take your pick, but the point is, make a list of 10
- 6:05people who inspire you. If you're lucky enough to have
- 6:08them boots on the ground with you still debrief them, ask
- 6:12them, you know, say what are the things that make you do?
- 6:16What you do every day you inspire me?
- 6:18Do you know what? It feels makes a person feel
- 6:21like when you go to them and actually take them to coffee and
- 6:23say you inspire me, teach me how you do this.
- 6:27It lifts their souls so much so give them that gift as Such, as
- 6:31you give yourself the gift and go out and seek out your 10 and
- 6:36really figure out mean, can you have some that are passed away?
- 6:39Yes, can you have some that are present?
- 6:41Yes. Can you have some?
- 6:42You've never met? Yes.
- 6:43It can be a mix, but get your 10 and work with it.
- 6:46All right, my friends. I hope you have a blessed day
- 6:48and I will see you tomorrow. Bye.
- 6:30Such, as you give yourself the gift and go out and seek out
- 6:34your 10 and really figure out mean, can you have some that are
- 6:39passed away? Yes, can you have some that are
- 6:40present? Yes.
- 6:41Can you have some? You've never met?
- 6:42Yes. It can be a mix, but get your 10
- 6:44and work with it. All right, my friends.
- 6:47I hope you have a blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:49Bye.
