- 0:40Speaker 1: And back and back and the back, and I get time,
- 0:49Speaker 1: and I the PA and sat at back.
- 2:11Speaker 2: USh to.
- 2:29Speaker 3: A h.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Hello everybody, Hello live.
- 3:24Speaker 4: It's been a while.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It is good to see. I asked something.
- 3:33Speaker 4: You were just asked.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah, just a couple of days. I was gonna I
- 3:37Speaker 1: was gonna bring up the fact that that's the second
- 3:38Speaker 1: time I've heard that song this week. This week, that's right,
- 3:45Speaker 1: if you missed it. On Monday, we interviewed Amy Mitchell,
- 3:48Speaker 1: co author with Chief Judge Belvin Perry Junior, who presided
- 3:55Speaker 1: over Casey Anthony, the Black Widow Trial and more. He's
- 3:59Speaker 1: been in law for he just he retired after what
- 4:05Speaker 1: forty years was it forty or something?
- 4:07Speaker 4: So, because he was a prosecutor and then he became
- 4:09Speaker 4: a judge.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And then he became the chief Judge. My favorite, my
- 4:12Speaker 1: favorite thing was when he told us, well, it's not
- 4:14Speaker 1: my favorite thing, but it was one of them. When
- 4:16Speaker 1: he told us I wasn't your normal prosecutor, had a
- 4:18Speaker 1: big old laugh ro I was like, I'd like you, sir, well.
- 4:24Speaker 4: I also like that he says some people need to
- 4:27Speaker 4: meet their creators sooner than later.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was fun, It was It was nice
- 4:34Speaker 1: because Papa Bru's crime to got to watch the interview
- 4:39Speaker 1: and he was like texting me live while we were
- 4:41Speaker 1: doing it, and he just thought this guy was He
- 4:43Speaker 1: thought Judge Perry was so cool, and we talked about
- 4:48Speaker 1: just how hard it must have been for him not
- 4:51Speaker 1: to be like, hey, prosecution, you need to motion for
- 4:54Speaker 1: this instruction or she's going to go free. He's a
- 4:59Speaker 1: very ethic, procedurally focused judged. It was interesting because it
- 5:07Speaker 1: got me. It got me interested in finding out about
- 5:09Speaker 1: my my great uncle who's who was who was a
- 5:14Speaker 1: judge in Franklin County, Ohio in the Columbus area. He
- 5:18Speaker 1: was also a prosecutor as well, And you know, he's
- 5:21Speaker 1: kind of he's kind of defined in the same fashion,
- 5:24Speaker 1: very procedural, very to the book, that kind of a thing.
- 5:28Speaker 1: It turns out he may he may have been one
- 5:31Speaker 1: of the prosecutors who handled prosecution of the three to
- 5:38Speaker 1: five inmates who were involved in the I think it's
- 5:41Speaker 1: Lawrenceville Prison riot in in that Columbus area in ninety three.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I think it was I'm gonna see if he'll come on.
- 5:50Speaker 1: He's got to have some kind of story. But yeah,
- 5:54Speaker 1: so that would be kind of fun to do. Maybe
- 5:57Speaker 1: maybe night quarter or something. Well maybe not night Cork.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I don't think he's a night out. He's retired now,
- 6:03Speaker 1: so I'm sure he doesn't mind. You know, they bring
- 6:05Speaker 1: him back as like a judge to fill in, but
- 6:08Speaker 1: he's retired now. But he's the one who married missus
- 6:13Speaker 1: Bruce Crime and me.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Well, you know, he probably eats dinner at like for
- 6:18Speaker 4: forty five five o'clock, so he is probably in bed
- 6:22Speaker 4: by seven point thirty eight o'clock.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I don't know, you know, I think about I think
- 6:28Speaker 1: about them and their family, and they're they're kinda they're
- 6:31Speaker 1: more party center than I think. Maybe they step so
- 6:37Speaker 1: we'll see. Maybe maybe that means I get an hour
- 6:41Speaker 1: out of them, right, so he'll be fallen asleep at
- 6:44Speaker 1: the end. That's all right. Well, everybody, welcome in. Thanks
- 6:48Speaker 1: for being here. We're so happy to see you. We've
- 6:54Speaker 1: been busy.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Huh, we have been busy. And I have to tell
- 6:58Speaker 4: you tonight's case for me is a oozy.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Right in this case, as I was going through it,
- 7:07Speaker 1: I was my jaw just kept hitting the floor and uh,
- 7:12Speaker 1: you know what, Uh, lady and Gray, I'm very glad
- 7:15Speaker 1: you didn't have to research this case because yeah, a
- 7:19Speaker 1: lot of betrayal, a lot of violence, just just a
- 7:26Speaker 1: lot of people involved. So yeah, but you know what,
- 7:31Speaker 1: before we get to that, yes, I think we need
- 7:36Speaker 1: to get to some stupid news.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Yes, let's start off that way.
- 7:48Speaker 1: What do you think wat watch the news because we've
- 7:54Speaker 1: seen this do every day. I mean every day I
- 7:58Speaker 1: think this kid pass out on Laura. People wanted to
- 8:02Speaker 1: be It's just like, dude, you get the best barrels ever?
- 8:06Speaker 4: Dude, just let him out here?
- 8:08Speaker 1: Uh, what's what's the best kind of fireworks to buy?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Wouldn't you like to know? Whether? Boy? Where are your parents?
- 8:22Speaker 4: I'm sorry, it gets me every time.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I love that kid. He's like, I mean, I have
- 8:30Speaker 1: some PTSD from the bullying. But you know, I mean,
- 8:33Speaker 1: let's be honest, maybe he had it coming. I don't know.
- 8:37Speaker 4: I don't know, but it just makes me crack up.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Where's your parents?
- 8:43Speaker 1: Where are your parents? All? Right? So to start off with,
- 8:48Speaker 1: we're gonna head back to air travel, which you've done
- 8:52Speaker 1: a lot of recently.
- 8:54Speaker 4: I have, I've spent some time in the air, except.
- 9:01Speaker 1: This. I don't think you would have told me if
- 9:03Speaker 1: this happened so Quantus Air right apologizes after a mature
- 9:09Speaker 1: rated film was played to all passengers. Now, this mature
- 9:14Speaker 1: rated film is called Daddio, and Daddio features Dakota Johnson
- 9:19Speaker 1: and Sean Penn, So it's not an entirely well correction.
- 9:24Speaker 1: It's restricted in the US, it's MA A fifteen plus elsewhere.
- 9:28Speaker 1: It's rated eighteen in the UK for language, sexual material
- 9:32Speaker 1: and nudity strong course language or nudity. So there's a
- 9:37Speaker 1: lot apparently in this movie. Thinking of Dakota Johnson and
- 9:40Speaker 1: Sean Penn in the same movie in which that's rated
- 9:43Speaker 1: that way kind of creeps me out a little bit.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But that being said, let me explain what happened. The
- 9:51Speaker 1: inappropriate screening happened on a Quantus flight from Sydney to
- 9:55Speaker 1: Tokyo after the planes in flight entertainment system failed to
- 9:58Speaker 1: work before takeoff. After staff were unable to fix the fault,
- 10:03Speaker 1: the plane took off after a delay of more than
- 10:05Speaker 1: an hour, with the crew deciding to show the same
- 10:08Speaker 1: film to everyone instead. However, to the horror of some
- 10:12Speaker 1: passengers on board the nine and a half hour flight,
- 10:16Speaker 1: the sexually explicit drama Daddio then began to play to
- 10:20Speaker 1: make matters worse, travelers reported they were effectively forced to
- 10:24Speaker 1: watch because they were unable to turn off, pause or
- 10:26Speaker 1: even dim their individual screens. Oh of those right, wrote
- 10:32Speaker 1: on the website Reddit, which is where you should always
- 10:34Speaker 1: go for you know, first hand accounts. Quote. The movie
- 10:38Speaker 1: they played was extremely inappropriate. It featured graphic nudity and
- 10:42Speaker 1: lots of sexting, the kind where you could literally read
- 10:44Speaker 1: the texts on screen without needing headphones. It almost took
- 10:48Speaker 1: an hour of this before they switched to a more
- 10:50Speaker 1: kid friendly movie, but it was super uncomfortable for everyone,
- 10:54Speaker 1: especially with the families on board.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that would be a bit much.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I mean you remember, I mean early,
- 11:12Speaker 1: like maybe two decades ago, traveling to and from Japan
- 11:16Speaker 1: and things like that. You're on for a while, but
- 11:20Speaker 1: like nowadays on airlines they have like this entire library
- 11:24Speaker 1: that you can pick from. Right then, you had a
- 11:27Speaker 1: choice of like two channels, four movies, and they just
- 11:31Speaker 1: played incessantly, right, I think it was something like that.
- 11:36Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, that really sucks for the parents. It's
- 11:41Speaker 1: like no, no, no, no, no, I know what we said.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I know what we said about your kindle. Look at
- 11:46Speaker 1: that look at look at that. I mean, stare.
- 11:51Speaker 4: I can't imagine as a parent being on that. It's
- 11:55Speaker 4: not like you can just get your kid to stop watching,
- 11:58Speaker 4: because the minute you say, yeah, don't watch that, the
- 12:00Speaker 4: kids are gonna be like, you know, because they're gonna
- 12:03Speaker 4: know that there's something that they need to see it
- 12:06Speaker 4: because you don't want them to see it.
- 12:09Speaker 1: So, I mean, I one time was on a flight and.
- 12:15Speaker 4: There was a kid sitting on in the middle and
- 12:19Speaker 4: then there was like a teenager on the aisle. I
- 12:23Speaker 4: was on the window. The teenager was watching Magic Mike
- 12:28Speaker 4: and the kid maybe was ten years old, I mean,
- 12:36Speaker 4: and I just he looked very uncomfortable.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I think I think Qantas should change their their tagline
- 12:45Speaker 1: to Aquantas Airlines. We take care of the sex talk.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I mean, just might as well answer all the questions
- 12:53Speaker 1: all at the same time it out of the way.
- 12:57Speaker 4: I mean, now I'm gonna have to a movie.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Well, and I thought about that too, because it's kind
- 13:03Speaker 1: of it looks like a like an art house movie
- 13:06Speaker 1: like Dakota Johnson I think produced it, and so it
- 13:09Speaker 1: might be worth a check. I guess the whole point
- 13:13Speaker 1: is like some woman comes back flies back, She's wait
- 13:17Speaker 1: what and she.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Dating Chris Martin? Her engaged to Chris Martin.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Go to Johnson's partner is Chris Martin yep? Yes? And
- 13:30Speaker 1: is Melanie Griffith Yes?
- 13:32Speaker 4: And her dad is Don Johnson.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Yes. Oh, she's the one from fifty Shades.
- 13:40Speaker 4: So yeah, I never saw a secit. I've never seen
- 13:43Speaker 4: it either. I read half the book and I got
- 13:46Speaker 4: so embarrassed I couldn't keep reading the book because I
- 13:48Speaker 4: was scared. I oh no, I just kept feeling like
- 13:51Speaker 4: somebody was reading the book over my shoulder, even when
- 13:54Speaker 4: I was alone.
- 13:56Speaker 1: She's thirty five years old, Sean Penna sixty four years old.
- 13:59Speaker 4: And ooh, now I get daddy. Oh, I get the
- 14:04Speaker 4: title now.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Uh huh mm hmmm hmmm. Uh but uh oh, speaking
- 14:12Speaker 1: of I mean like fifty Shades, just for funzies, I
- 14:15Speaker 1: grabbed a book. I grabbed the book and I read
- 14:18Speaker 1: it in a Chick fil A for fun. So you
- 14:21Speaker 1: know they were psyched about that.
- 14:24Speaker 4: Like I said, I was too embarrassed even reading it
- 14:27Speaker 4: in my own bedroom. I don't know why. I kept
- 14:29Speaker 4: looking around like somebody was watching me and like I
- 14:32Speaker 4: was doing something wrong.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Always for a lack.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Somebody's watching me. So yeah, I didn't finish reading it.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Well, I mean, I honestly, I I have read light.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I've tried twice. I've read like five or six chapters.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Is there a little more than you think in it? Yes?
- 14:56Speaker 1: A little more plot?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Yes?
- 14:58Speaker 1: Is it enough it's too much? Yeah?
- 15:03Speaker 4: I mean I'm not shaming anyone. I mean I used
- 15:06Speaker 4: to get embarrassed reading Harlequin romances.
- 15:11Speaker 1: To shame someone would be shaming eighty percent of the world,
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'm sure at this point. Yeah, didn't didn't Fifty Shades
- 15:19Speaker 1: start as a Twilight fan fiction? Isn't that how that started?
- 15:25Speaker 4: Twilight's the vampirey thing, isn't it? Uh uh, I'm Twilight
- 15:32Speaker 4: about vampires or something. Say I'm not I'm not hip,
- 15:36Speaker 4: I'm not cool.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, fifty Shades started as Twilight fan fiction.
- 15:42Speaker 1: And there's PDFs on some sites that Christian and honest
- 15:48Speaker 1: Anastasia are still named Edward and Bella. So there's that.
- 15:53Speaker 4: I think we just learned something new about Buffy Bot.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I mean, listen, if I need, if I need to
- 16:04Speaker 4: read it and get over myself, just let me know.
- 16:07Speaker 4: I still have it on my kindle and I think
- 16:09Speaker 4: that was the problem if I would have had it
- 16:11Speaker 4: in book form instead of kindle. I'm always more worried
- 16:14Speaker 4: about reading something like that on a computer or a tablet,
- 16:19Speaker 4: because what if somebody's put like cyber thing on there
- 16:22Speaker 4: and they're watching me read it.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, it's so like uh. After
- 16:31Speaker 1: those chapters that I did read, just like quantus air,
- 16:36Speaker 1: I felt like I needed to go back to my
- 16:37Speaker 1: parents and ask them some questions.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Now a question, did you try any of the stuff
- 16:44Speaker 4: you read about?
- 16:47Speaker 1: It? Is that? That is a two party decision, and
- 16:51Speaker 1: we'll just leave it at that. My safe words pineapple juice,
- 17:00Speaker 1: of course it is and or more? Please one of the.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Two, I said, say mine as always yes.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Please, yes, please, yes, please? All right? Do you want
- 17:14Speaker 1: to go? I had? I had three? Do you want
- 17:16Speaker 1: me to? Do you want more?
- 17:18Speaker 4: I could tell my cute little one since mine's.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Little bitty hey the well bitty wine.
- 17:23Speaker 4: It's a little bitty whine not really clot on camera.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Ohio police officers attacked by runaway giant pumpkin. Luckily, no
- 17:34Speaker 4: officers or pumpkins were harmed during the event.
- 17:40Speaker 1: What part of Ohio was this bay?
- 17:46Speaker 4: Village police department. I mean, there's a video. If I
- 17:51Speaker 4: knew how to operate all this tech stuff, I would
- 17:53Speaker 4: show that.
- 17:54Speaker 1: The ooh, it's on it's it's to the west.
- 18:00Speaker 4: But like the big thing blows over the officer who's
- 18:04Speaker 4: standing up and like it's all on top of his head.
- 18:07Speaker 1: It like takes him like an action like an action movie.
- 18:11Speaker 4: So but I thought it was cute. But what I
- 18:15Speaker 4: find really funny are the comments on it. Down at
- 18:19Speaker 4: the bottom of the article. Somebody says, do you think
- 18:21Speaker 4: holiday decorations are getting out of control?
- 18:27Speaker 1: It's a pumpkin.
- 18:28Speaker 4: What you know, in every every group, there's got to
- 18:40Speaker 4: be a Karen.
- 18:42Speaker 1: There's always a Karen or a Kyle, or Kyle, says
- 18:49Speaker 1: the guy.
- 18:51Speaker 4: My first husband's name was Kyle, So.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I'm right. So we've got we've got kids watching sex,
- 19:03Speaker 1: we've got cops getting struck with gourds and but yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 1: and now we've got a Greek man in uh this
- 19:13Speaker 1: this happened in Greece, so true. Greek man convicted of
- 19:17Speaker 1: causing a disturbance. What did he do well? A judge
- 19:20Speaker 1: in northern Greece on Thursday imposed a suspended one month's
- 19:22Speaker 1: prison sentence hmm on a man convicted of disturbing his
- 19:27Speaker 1: neighbors by repeatedly sneaking into their properties to smell their shoes.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Oh bells is asking. Uh, it's kind of it's not
- 19:38Speaker 1: really a bun. I guess it's not long enough for
- 19:39Speaker 1: a bun. So it's a little bit of both. It's
- 19:43Speaker 1: you know, it's HASI's what's half and half like me? So, yeah,
- 19:47Speaker 1: this fellow is sniff and shoes. The twenty eight year
- 19:50Speaker 1: old Greek man told the that'sala, that that's that's ala, Nike,
- 19:56Speaker 1: that's the that's a little nik. The Greek court that
- 20:01Speaker 1: he was unable to explain his behavior, which he said
- 20:04Speaker 1: had caused him great embarrassment. No shit, sherlock. He stressed
- 20:08Speaker 1: that he had no intention of breaking the law or
- 20:10Speaker 1: harming anyone, and neighbors testified that he never displayed any
- 20:14Speaker 1: sign of aggression during his nocturnal visits or discharges. The
- 20:19Speaker 1: man was arrested before dawn on October eighth in the
- 20:23Speaker 1: small town of Sindos, about fifteen kilometers west. Police had
- 20:28Speaker 1: been called after a neighbor found the defendant in his
- 20:31Speaker 1: front yard sniffing his family's shoes, which had been left
- 20:35Speaker 1: outdoors to air. The court heard that there had been
- 20:39Speaker 1: at least three similar incidents in the past six months.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Despite neighbors having asked the defendant's family to get him
- 20:44Speaker 1: to stop. The man was ordered to attend therapy sessions.
- 20:49Speaker 4: I mean, what is he hearten? He just wants to
- 20:53Speaker 4: smell a little ToeJam. I mean, come on, I mean,
- 21:00Speaker 4: I had a guy once offered to buy my shoe
- 21:02Speaker 4: from me that I had been wearing.
- 21:06Speaker 1: You know, you had a real, real good chance to
- 21:09Speaker 1: to to beat only only fans of the punch.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I don't know why some people like
- 21:20Speaker 4: the smell of feet, But I got told last week
- 21:24Speaker 4: by my mother in law that I was weird when
- 21:28Speaker 4: I admitted that I liked the smell of skunk, like
- 21:32Speaker 4: dead skunks on the side of the road. They smell
- 21:34Speaker 4: very sweet to me.
- 21:39Speaker 1: They do.
- 21:41Speaker 4: Oh, Buffy, more content for her.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Sight, which is really funny because at the same time
- 21:48Speaker 1: Amos said OnlyFans content for Buffy.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Well, we will keep my feet out of that, Buffy.
- 21:57Speaker 1: But so, did you hear there's obviously a theme tonight?
- 22:03Speaker 1: Did you hear about an opera in this was in?
- 22:11Speaker 1: Let me make sure I understand Stutgart, Germany. Okay, it
- 22:15Speaker 1: was an opera in Stuttgart, Germany. It's called Sunkta and
- 22:21Speaker 1: it's by Florentina Holtzinger. And during the opera eighteen people
- 22:31Speaker 1: had to leave needing medical attention. Why let me explain.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Uh h, So overall the end of the performance there
- 22:45Speaker 1: was a plause. They seemed to enjoy the boundary pushing show.
- 22:48Speaker 1: And by boundary pushing, I don't mean just kind of
- 22:52Speaker 1: nudging it. I mean they kicked the effing dory. Okay.
- 23:01Speaker 1: This opera features nuns, sex scenes, mutilation, and real blood.
- 23:08Speaker 1: And when I say sex scenes, I don't mean simulated.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Oh they were doing so yep. Florentina Holtzinger's Sancta also
- 23:19Speaker 1: includes naked roller skating nuns and a depiction of a
- 23:22Speaker 1: wall of crucified naked bodies. During performances on the fifth
- 23:27Speaker 1: and sixth of October, eighteen people needed medical attention from staff.
- 23:31Speaker 1: A few of them suffered from nausea during the boundary
- 23:33Speaker 1: pushing show. One instance took place before the show even started,
- 23:38Speaker 1: and in three instances an ambulance was called to the venue.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Despite this, opera goers seemed to enjoy the performance and
- 23:44Speaker 1: applauded after. The spokesperson said, of course, we highly value
- 23:48Speaker 1: the well being of our audience. That is why our
- 23:50Speaker 1: staff is always excellently prepared for these kind of incidents,
- 23:54Speaker 1: which happened during other performances too, albeit in smaller numbers.
- 23:58Speaker 1: By all means, we had informed our audience about sensitive
- 24:00Speaker 1: content before the performances. The great applause after indicates that
- 24:04Speaker 1: the vast majority of the people knew what the performance
- 24:06Speaker 1: was about. Through the almost three hour performance, the spokesperson
- 24:12Speaker 1: said there were two scenes lasting only a few minutes
- 24:15Speaker 1: that quote might be hard to watch. One scene was
- 24:18Speaker 1: described as having a small piece of flesh cut from
- 24:21Speaker 1: the back of one of the performers, and another where
- 24:23Speaker 1: two other performers were pierced together to attach ropes and
- 24:27Speaker 1: lifted them up. They also highlighted certain light effects throughout,
- 24:32Speaker 1: which could have also been responsible for some incidents.
- 24:38Speaker 4: Let's see, Uh, why the hell are they cutting pieces
- 24:43Speaker 4: of skin off?
- 24:45Speaker 1: You're in an upper performance. I don't know this choreographer Holtzinger,
- 24:50Speaker 1: she's thirty eight. She is known for her boundary pushing
- 24:55Speaker 1: performances Yeah, with her all female casts, often performing part
- 25:00Speaker 1: or fully naked and previous shows have featured tattooing, masturbating,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and action paintings with blood and fresh extrement. In an
- 25:08Speaker 1: interview with the same outlet earlier this year, she said,
- 25:11Speaker 1: good technique and dance to me is not just someone
- 25:14Speaker 1: who can do a perfect tendu, but also someone who
- 25:17Speaker 1: can urinate on q Soncta is based on the controversial
- 25:21Speaker 1: nineteen twenties opera Sancta Susana, the story of a nun
- 25:25Speaker 1: who represses her own desires. Holdzinger's show is advertised as
- 25:29Speaker 1: for people aged eighteen and over, and despite the incidents,
- 25:34Speaker 1: further shows in Stuttgart and Berlin have since reportedly stole out.
- 25:39Speaker 1: This is like the best thing that could have ever
- 25:41Speaker 1: happened to her, I will say, allow me to say
- 25:48Speaker 1: that obviously, when I read this, I immediately went to
- 25:52Speaker 1: go see if there was video of this show, just
- 25:55Speaker 1: to see if what was going on, and I found,
- 26:01Speaker 1: of course the German website, and that's fine. I don't
- 26:04Speaker 1: care about the language. The singing is incredible, I mean incredible.
- 26:10Speaker 1: This isn't just like it's not like performance art with
- 26:14Speaker 1: a side of singing. This the it is. It is opera,
- 26:19Speaker 1: right of course, it's really hard to listen to a
- 26:23Speaker 1: nun when right behind her on a wall that has
- 26:27Speaker 1: ropes down it. And also what looked to be climbing
- 26:30Speaker 1: like the climbing rocks. There are two people against a
- 26:35Speaker 1: wall getting it on. Also there.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Are they just dressed up? No no, no, no, because
- 26:46Speaker 4: I was like, I hope they're going to confession the
- 26:48Speaker 4: next day.
- 26:50Speaker 1: There there also was a very quick video of a bell,
- 26:54Speaker 1: right like a church tower bell, and it is hung
- 26:57Speaker 1: up in the air way up high, and there is
- 27:00Speaker 1: a woman upside down in the middle of the bell
- 27:02Speaker 1: as if she was the what is that thing called
- 27:04Speaker 1: the thing that rings the bell, I don't know, and
- 27:08Speaker 1: the bell is swinging and she's literally banging against the
- 27:11Speaker 1: side of the bell.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Maybe it is wild, that's crazy, just wild.
- 27:19Speaker 1: So that I cannot show that on here, I will
- 27:22Speaker 1: have to go back to training.
- 27:23Speaker 4: I stick sate, Yeah, let's not show that. But I'm
- 27:26Speaker 4: going to just go on a limb and say, Circus
- 27:29Speaker 4: Solat is not going to be showing this anytime soon.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Well, Cirque de Soil has its own They get a.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Little risque, but there's a difference between risk and.
- 27:44Speaker 2: That stuff.
- 27:45Speaker 1: They have an adult only show called Zumanity Humanity you
- 27:50Speaker 1: have seen? Okay, so is it? Like, what is it?
- 27:53Speaker 1: What is it?
- 27:53Speaker 4: They're just simulating, Like one of the guys pulls out
- 27:59Speaker 4: a fake stuffed thing out of his pants. The girl
- 28:03Speaker 4: lifts are skirt up and she's wearing like the nude
- 28:06Speaker 4: body suit underneath, and there's like hair glued to it.
- 28:10Speaker 4: So then they, you know, mimic having sex. So it's nothing.
- 28:17Speaker 4: It's all mimicking. Yeah, I mean you see more at
- 28:21Speaker 4: a topless bar or down in New Orleans on Bourbon Street.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Just walking down Bourbon Street, you would see more than
- 28:29Speaker 4: you see in Zoman.
- 28:30Speaker 1: In comparison to this.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Let me, oh, I forgot something. What I have something
- 28:41Speaker 5: that I need to go grab. I never go off camera.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Okay, you go grab. I am going to quickly look
- 28:51Speaker 1: for the video that I spoke about, and just have
- 28:54Speaker 1: you listen to the music. Hold on, mhm, hold on,
- 29:06Speaker 1: hold on.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Okay, I thought showing that video.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm just showing. I'm just playing the music.
- 29:14Speaker 1: So listen to this. It's really impressive.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Okay, you can't make those faces when we can't see.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I can show you later.
- 29:53Speaker 4: So you're talking about that made me remember I saved
- 29:57Speaker 4: a yellow Shot from Double H's Birthday part Saturday for tonight.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Nice time to take it. Time to take it because
- 30:07Speaker 1: we're about to get into your case. Bell's asked, how
- 30:10Speaker 1: long do these last? That performance is three hours long? Yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 1: so it's a full length opera. Yeah. I mean if
- 30:23Speaker 1: you want to listen, if you want to see the
- 30:24Speaker 1: trailer for it, song to just look up song to
- 30:27Speaker 1: Opera Stuttgart and then the trailer will pop up and
- 30:30Speaker 1: it's on YouTube. So I mean, I don't understand how
- 30:34Speaker 1: that's on YouTube. I showed the video that's on YouTube.
- 30:37Speaker 1: I get in trouble.
- 30:38Speaker 4: How yeah, how is that it's on YouTube's I don't
- 30:44Speaker 4: think we need to get in trouble again.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Well, I'm in trouble for that. It's very obvious it's
- 30:53Speaker 1: from YouTube.
- 30:54Speaker 4: I got it to come out perfect.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Oh look at that. Yeah that was as Mr yellow
- 31:10Speaker 1: Shot is what that was? Oh?
- 31:15Speaker 4: I forgot they were really spicy. Oh oh they were
- 31:21Speaker 4: a little strong. I'm gonna need it for my cake.
- 31:26Speaker 1: That's what I meant. Because it is time.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Well before we get to it, I will tell you
- 31:33Speaker 4: what I'm drinking, because I thought since we were doing
- 31:38Speaker 4: supermodels that I should drink something a little bit more fancy.
- 31:44Speaker 4: It's just persecco. It's not an overly fancy.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I'm a cheap hoe. So I still have my boxed
- 31:52Speaker 1: wine here.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Box wine is good, and then I have my bottle
- 31:58Speaker 4: of water to keep my self hydra.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Not only it's it's it's boxed wine and a bourbon glass.
- 32:06Speaker 4: I mean, as long as the box wine isn't a
- 32:09Speaker 4: year old.
- 32:11Speaker 1: No, it's not a year like that one.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Time, then we're okay, because that really freaked me out.
- 32:18Speaker 1: It was one time at band camp.
- 32:21Speaker 4: So I do need to make sure we tell everybody
- 32:25Speaker 4: this episode contains extremely graphic content, adult language, and there
- 32:34Speaker 4: is my guy is a original p Didty, so that
- 32:41Speaker 4: could be triggering for some. So I just want to
- 32:44Speaker 4: tell you if I'm not going to get graphic into
- 32:46Speaker 4: the details, but considering Prince Andrew and the Sky we're friends,
- 32:51Speaker 4: that should tell you a little bit about the guy.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And yes it should, it should, it sure should.
- 33:03Speaker 4: So all right, the first thing is I practiced saying
- 33:08Speaker 4: this name.
- 33:10Speaker 5: Peter J.
- 33:10Speaker 4: Nightguard was born Pika Tuana Nightguard in Helsinki, Finland, on
- 33:20Speaker 4: July twenty fourth, nineteen forty one, and if you haven't
- 33:25Speaker 4: heard of him, it is a name that once stood
- 33:30Speaker 4: like a Coco Chanel almost with luxury fashion, and he
- 33:33Speaker 4: was hugely successful.
- 33:37Speaker 1: What did he also have a luxury fashion with the
- 33:39Speaker 1: side of Nazis? Because that was.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Oh I didn't know that about.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Coh I researched. She was one of my characters that
- 33:52Speaker 1: I talked about on Celebrated Monsters. She indeed lay with
- 33:56Speaker 1: the enemies, with the Nazis in order to obtain full
- 34:01Speaker 1: ownership of a perfume company that she used to have
- 34:04Speaker 1: but that was owned by Jewish people. So she took
- 34:07Speaker 1: advantage of the new laws the Nazis enacted in order
- 34:10Speaker 1: to get her perfume company back. And the only reason
- 34:14Speaker 1: she avoided prosecution is because guess who stood up for
- 34:17Speaker 1: her Winston Churchill. Oh my, you're welcome.
- 34:26Speaker 4: So that means no more, no more number five?
- 34:32Speaker 1: Oh God, she's dead. What does it matter? I know?
- 34:35Speaker 1: But still and.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Coco Chanel bought my favorite winery, Saint Supriya Napa.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Yeah, she's got quite a quite a story there. She's
- 34:47Speaker 1: my son of the Cross. I get her. Afrod Hitchcock
- 34:50Speaker 1: is a monster. John Wayne is an absolute Monster.
- 34:54Speaker 4: At least John Wayne must good Luck and Monster.
- 34:58Speaker 1: But was he or where? Were the options just very.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Like let's say I think the option that were just limited.
- 35:06Speaker 1: All well, he made like one hundred and seventy movies
- 35:08Speaker 1: in his career. He was everywhere, He was everywhere.
- 35:11Speaker 4: Well, I'm going to just tell you my guy, Peter Nigard,
- 35:14Speaker 4: was not attractive. If you don't know what he looks like,
- 35:17Speaker 4: google a picture. He's not attractive. But he was a
- 35:21Speaker 4: Finnish Canadian businessman. He built a huge empire in the
- 35:25Speaker 4: fashion industry. He founded Nightguard International in nineteen sixty seven
- 35:31Speaker 4: and it became a household name in women's apparel. So
- 35:35Speaker 4: if you haven't heard of him, he was often called
- 35:38Speaker 4: the Polyester King. He was the one who brought polyester
- 35:42Speaker 4: fabric to mainstream.
- 35:45Speaker 1: He he looks like a more street version of Liberachi. Yeah,
- 35:52Speaker 1: he's he's Liberachi with street smarts, even though I know
- 35:55Speaker 1: he didn't have them. That's his Yeah, he's just yeah.
- 35:59Speaker 4: But the thing so beneath the glamorous facad of wealth
- 36:04Speaker 4: and success lay a dark and disturbing reality, which I
- 36:09Speaker 4: think nowadays we're getting smarter about looking for that because
- 36:14Speaker 4: over the years, Nigard's name became increasingly associated with allegations
- 36:20Speaker 4: of sexual abuse, trafficking, and a series of legal battles
- 36:26Speaker 4: that finally culminated in his arrest and conviction in twenty
- 36:31Speaker 4: twenty three. But guys, just wait until you hear the timeline.
- 36:38Speaker 4: But his life in early.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Finland what Nope, No, I'm just kidding. I was like, no,
- 36:45Speaker 1: but no.
- 36:45Speaker 4: They immigrated to Canada, and they say it played a
- 36:49Speaker 4: crucial role in shaping his identity and ambition because growing
- 36:53Speaker 4: up in post war Finland was rough, so they immigrated
- 36:59Speaker 4: over to Canada and they faced the challenges of rebuilding
- 37:03Speaker 4: their lives after losing everything in World War Two, So.
- 37:10Speaker 1: It played a crucial role. Did he identify as a moose?
- 37:13Speaker 1: What is a mountie? How did so?
- 37:17Speaker 4: Coming from Finish to Canada, Finish is a much more
- 37:24Speaker 4: simple place, Like they don't collect all the do dads
- 37:29Speaker 4: and stuff that we do. They if they have money,
- 37:32Speaker 4: they don't show it. Where moving to Canada he got
- 37:36Speaker 4: really ambitious because he saw money, labels this, that. So
- 37:42Speaker 4: that is what kind of shaped him. It made him greedy.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Let's just be honest, do you he moved?
- 37:52Speaker 1: When he moved, he.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Was eleven years old when he moved from So.
- 37:57Speaker 1: It was to Canada, so around I'll just say, the
- 38:03Speaker 1: number that I have here that's closest to World War
- 38:06Speaker 1: Two is nineteen forty one, which is I know. But
- 38:11Speaker 1: there were born in total, oh he was okay, But
- 38:15Speaker 1: when he moved there were a where he was born.
- 38:17Speaker 1: There were a grand total of two hundred and thirty
- 38:19Speaker 1: nine Finnish people in the area in which he moved
- 38:23Speaker 1: to and even today there's only about thirty five hundred,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and in twenty sixteen one hundred and forty four thousand
- 38:32Speaker 1: claimed finish ancestry, so there's not a lot. He cruly
- 38:37Speaker 1: was in a completely different It's.
- 38:39Speaker 4: Not like the French, right right, right, I mean it,
- 38:45Speaker 4: it had to have been shocking. So but he was
- 38:49Speaker 4: exposed to a new culture, language and opportunities that they
- 38:53Speaker 4: say eventually fueled his entrepreneurial spirit. Okay, Now, now his
- 39:01Speaker 4: education helped contribute to his success. He went to the
- 39:04Speaker 4: University of North Dakota got a business degree in sixty four,
- 39:09Speaker 4: and everyone said he demonstrated an early aptitude for business.
- 39:14Speaker 4: So you know, you just meet those people that are
- 39:16Speaker 4: just you can just tell they're good in business. Right,
- 39:23Speaker 4: why are you pointing at me.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Because you're that person?
- 39:27Speaker 4: Oh I liked business.
- 39:29Speaker 1: I'm like, what did I do?
- 39:31Speaker 4: Now? His entry into the fashion industry was somewhat serendipitous.
- 39:37Speaker 4: He took a job as a sales manager for a
- 39:40Speaker 4: small manufacturing company where he was like, ooh, there's a
- 39:46Speaker 4: lot of potential in women's fashion. So it led him.
- 39:50Speaker 4: He purchased twenty percent of that company, and he later
- 39:55Speaker 4: outright bought it and rebranded it as Niguard Apparel in
- 40:00Speaker 4: nineteen sixty seven. He graduated college in sixty four, bought
- 40:08Speaker 4: this company and rebranded by sixty seven.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I mean, I mean he knew what was up.
- 40:18Speaker 4: Yeah, so they said. His ability to identify market trends
- 40:22Speaker 4: and capitalize on them became the hallmark of his business,
- 40:26Speaker 4: and it propelled him to create one of Canada's most
- 40:29Speaker 4: successful fashion brands. And every time I read Canada, all
- 40:33Speaker 4: I keep hearing in my head is Sparkle Puss. All
- 40:40Speaker 4: I hear is amber of my head.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I've told the Hey, right, I've told this joke before.
- 40:47Speaker 1: I don't know if it was here, but you know
- 40:49Speaker 1: how they ended up like naming Canada right? No, so
- 40:56Speaker 1: they got together. They're at a table and they were
- 41:00Speaker 1: trying to figure out what to call it. Uh and
- 41:04Speaker 1: and and and they were talking to each other and
- 41:06Speaker 1: they were like, oh, oh, let's do this uh C
- 41:09Speaker 1: A N A D A and that was it. I
- 41:17Speaker 1: didn't get it because Canadians say A.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Okay, A A DA spelled Canada, but also a because
- 41:29Speaker 2: Canadians say okay, hmm okay.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Anyway, yeah, back going back to to my people, because
- 41:37Speaker 4: I'm like going, I need to get my hair blonde,
- 41:39Speaker 4: because I did not catch that. So initially his company
- 41:44Speaker 4: focused on sportswear manufacturing, but like I said, they expanded
- 41:49Speaker 4: into women's apparel, becoming known as the Polyester Man. But
- 41:53Speaker 4: they rose to prominence, producing clothing, clothing, clothing under various
- 42:00Speaker 4: brand names such as Niguard Fashions, Niguard Slims, Bionica or Bianca, Niguard, Adx,
- 42:08Speaker 4: tanjay Alia, and Alison Daily. So they own a lot
- 42:13Speaker 4: of brands. Now you will find out that some of
- 42:17Speaker 4: those brands are named for his daughters. But by two
- 42:21Speaker 4: thousand and nine, his success in the fashion industry had
- 42:24Speaker 4: earned him a place among the wealthiest Canadians, with a
- 42:29Speaker 4: net worth of eight hundred and seventeen million Canadian dollars,
- 42:36Speaker 4: which grew to an estimated nine hundred million Canadian dollars.
- 42:42Speaker 4: I don't know what the difference is between.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Canadians, only six hundred and fifty two million.
- 42:48Speaker 4: So, but in Canada it was a big deal. Now
- 42:53Speaker 4: the headquarters were strategically located in Times Square, New York,
- 43:00Speaker 4: symbolizing his ambition and the global reach of his fashion empire. Now.
- 43:05Speaker 4: The opening of his Fashion Concept retail store in Times
- 43:09Speaker 4: Square in November two thousand and nine marked the peak
- 43:13Speaker 4: of his business success. But as his empire grew, so
- 43:18Speaker 4: did the controversy surrounding him. So Peter Nigard's succession the
- 43:27Speaker 4: fashion industry was marred by numerous legal battles and allegations
- 43:32Speaker 4: of sexual misconducts that date back several decades. The first
- 43:40Speaker 4: known allegation against Niguard occurred in nineteen sixty eight, a
- 43:49Speaker 4: year I know, but a year after you know he
- 43:54Speaker 4: bought out the company, when Winnipeg police charged him with
- 43:58Speaker 4: a sexual offense. However, charges were dropped after the alleged
- 44:05Speaker 4: victim declined to testify. I'm going to just come out
- 44:08Speaker 4: on a limb here and say, I'm getting rid of
- 44:11Speaker 4: the word alleged.
- 44:14Speaker 1: She was. Yeah, I'm pretty sure he paid her to
- 44:16Speaker 1: shut up. I'm like she was scared, and then four
- 44:20Speaker 1: years later he paid him again.
- 44:24Speaker 4: This pattern of allegations followed by drop charges, would become
- 44:29Speaker 4: a recurring theme in Niguard's life. Money talks, bullshit walks.
- 44:37Speaker 4: I mean, let's just be honest.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Mm hmmm.
- 44:41Speaker 4: Because he definitely was not attractive.
- 44:45Speaker 1: No, no, he's not.
- 44:47Speaker 4: I mean even in the dark, that man was not attractive.
- 44:51Speaker 4: I mean I found a picture of him in just
- 44:54Speaker 4: a swimsuit. There was nothing, even when he was younger
- 44:57Speaker 4: that was attractive in my opinion. But in the nineteen eighties,
- 45:01Speaker 4: he faced another charge of sexual assault involving an eighteen
- 45:05Speaker 4: year old woman. Again, charges were stayed because the victim
- 45:09Speaker 4: declined to testify. But guys, despite these allegations, he continued
- 45:15Speaker 4: to build his fashion empire, seemingly untouched by the legal
- 45:20Speaker 4: trouble that surrounded him. Now, before I go, I am
- 45:24Speaker 4: gonna admit I did go down a rabbit hole today.
- 45:28Speaker 4: I wanted to know if he and P Diddy knew
- 45:30Speaker 4: each other. I could not find that they ever went
- 45:35Speaker 4: to each other's places.
- 45:37Speaker 1: P Diddy's ego is so large. I can't see him
- 45:40Speaker 1: ever interacting with another fashion person.
- 45:43Speaker 4: Oh just wait until you hear about his parties.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Hey they Yeah.
- 45:50Speaker 4: In the nineteen nineties, Niguard settled sexual harassment complaints by
- 45:54Speaker 4: three former employees and I think it's called Manitoba.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Hey, I said it right, Feather, adding to the growing
- 46:03Speaker 4: list of accusations. The settlements did little to tarnish his
- 46:08Speaker 4: public image, and he continued to enjoy the success and
- 46:12Speaker 4: wealth that his empire brought him. Now, the turning point
- 46:17Speaker 4: in his life came in the mid twenty tens, when
- 46:20Speaker 4: allegations of sexual misconduct, sex trafficking, and other criminal activities
- 46:26Speaker 4: begin to surface more frequently. In twenty fifteen and twenty seventeen,
- 46:33Speaker 4: Niguard was investigated by the FBI over claims of sex trafficking,
- 46:39Speaker 4: and the Nanaia United States Department of Homeland Security also
- 46:43Speaker 4: investigated him for nine months in twenty sixteen, but despite this,
- 46:50Speaker 4: he managed to evade serious consequences and his empire remained intact.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:00Speaker 4: The walls begin to close in on Niguard in twenty twenty.
- 47:04Speaker 4: On February twenty fifth, twenty twenty, the FBI, in collaboration
- 47:08Speaker 4: with the New York City Police Department. I would like
- 47:11Speaker 4: to think Olivia Benson was involved rated Niguard's International's New
- 47:16Speaker 4: York headquarters as part of a sex trafficking investigation. And
- 47:21Speaker 4: this raid marked the beginning of the end for Niguard's
- 47:24Speaker 4: fashion empire. But guys, you're going to hear a lot more.
- 47:31Speaker 4: In March of twenty twenty, following the FBI raid, Niguard
- 47:35Speaker 4: announced that he would step down from his position as
- 47:39Speaker 4: chairman of Nigard International and divest his ownership interest. However,
- 47:46Speaker 4: a judge later stated there was no evidence that Nigard
- 47:50Speaker 4: actually resigned and said he still owned one hundred percent
- 47:54Speaker 4: of the company shares and then he was a liar.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Of course, of course he was.
- 48:00Speaker 4: So this legal ambiguity did little to save the company.
- 48:04Speaker 4: They did file for Chapter fifteen bankruptcy, and guys, I
- 48:08Speaker 4: thought bankruptcy was chapter eleven or chapter thirteen. Oh this
- 48:14Speaker 4: was in Yeah, what is chapter fifteen? I decided not
- 48:18Speaker 4: to go down that rabbit hole.
- 48:20Speaker 1: But it's okay, let's see uh insolvency that involves multiple countries.
- 48:27Speaker 4: Okay, it's like, I don't know what chapter fifteen is now.
- 48:32Speaker 4: A day later, Manitoba judge ordered a group of Niguard
- 48:36Speaker 4: companies into receivership, signaling the collapse of this once thriving
- 48:41Speaker 4: in fire empire. That one shot has me already having
- 48:48Speaker 4: trouble speaking. Wow, we did four of them on Saturday.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Okay.
- 48:54Speaker 4: The allegations against Niguard paint a disturbing picture of a
- 48:58Speaker 4: man who used this wealth in influence to exploit vulnerable
- 49:02Speaker 4: women and girls. And like I said, these allegations spanned
- 49:06Speaker 4: several decades, some, like I said, back to nineteen sixty eight.
- 49:10Speaker 4: But I'm going to give you a timeline of some
- 49:12Speaker 4: of the most significant allegations. And I'm going to tell you,
- 49:16Speaker 4: if you have a drink, you're gonna want to grab
- 49:19Speaker 4: it because you're gonna get pissed off that he got
- 49:22Speaker 4: away with it for so long. Nineteen sixty eight, like
- 49:26Speaker 4: I mentioned, he was charged with a sexual offense. Chargers
- 49:29Speaker 4: were dropped, victim didn't want to testify. Nineteen eighty, he
- 49:34Speaker 4: faced charges of sexual assault involving an eighteen year old
- 49:39Speaker 4: person refused to testify. In nineteen ninety, he settled those
- 49:43Speaker 4: sexual harassment claims. Then between twenty fifteen and twenty seventeen,
- 49:48Speaker 4: he was investigated by the FBI. November twenty fourth, twenty nineteen,
- 49:55Speaker 4: the Bahamian police began investigating six allegations of sexual assault
- 50:00Speaker 4: against Niguard, all involving victims who were under sixteen at
- 50:07Speaker 4: the time of the alleged assaults. But guys today is
- 50:13Speaker 4: October seventeenth, twenty twenty four, no charges have been filed
- 50:19Speaker 4: against Peter Nightgard by the Bohemian government, so in twenty
- 50:25Speaker 4: twenty he faced two separate lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault.
- 50:30Speaker 4: By February thirteenth, twenty twenty, ten women filed a class
- 50:35Speaker 4: action lawsuit against Niguard in New York, alleging that he
- 50:39Speaker 4: had sexually assaulted them at his Bahama residence between two
- 50:44Speaker 4: thousand and eight and twenty fifteen. Seven of the women
- 50:48Speaker 4: were under eighteen, okay. Then a day later, Bohemian please
- 50:55Speaker 4: investigate the allegations by four different women. Still no charges
- 51:02Speaker 4: had been filed. By April twenty twenty thirty six new
- 51:10Speaker 4: women joined the lawsuit, bringing the total to forty six.
- 51:15Speaker 4: That's not all guys. By June seventeenth, that total was
- 51:20Speaker 4: fifty seven. All right, this is where I got really pissed.
- 51:30Speaker 4: August seventeenth, twenty twenty two of Nigard's sons sued him,
- 51:36Speaker 4: accusing him of directing a known sex worker to sexually
- 51:41Speaker 4: assault them and make them men. Uh wow, it was
- 51:53Speaker 4: the same sex worker and it was years apart. We'll
- 51:57Speaker 4: get more into that. Yeah, yeah, So he was arrested
- 52:04Speaker 4: in Winnipeg in December twenty twenty. He was extraduided to
- 52:09Speaker 4: the US October twenty twenty one, Niguard was charged in
- 52:13Speaker 4: Canada with multiple counts of sexual assault and forcible confinement.
- 52:19Speaker 4: He was given an eleven year sentence. Eleven years. I mean,
- 52:27Speaker 4: he is older than shit. But yeah, now, I I said,
- 52:34Speaker 4: his troubles really reached their peak in twenty twenty. But
- 52:38Speaker 4: in February twenty twenty one, Niguard was denied bail and
- 52:42Speaker 4: faced extradition to the United States. Throughout twenty twenty one,
- 52:47Speaker 4: all of this legal stuff kept going. On October first,
- 52:51Speaker 4: twenty twenty one, Niguard agreed to be extradited to the
- 52:54Speaker 4: United States to face the charges against him. Yeah, but
- 53:01Speaker 4: like I said, they found him guilty eleven years Okay,
- 53:06Speaker 4: but what was really creepy During the trial in Canada
- 53:12Speaker 4: the women actually reported and the women were between sixteen
- 53:17Speaker 4: and twenty eight. These assaults took place in the corporate
- 53:22Speaker 4: office in Canada, where Niguard had a luxury bedroom at
- 53:29Speaker 4: the company headquarters. The bedroom had a spa, a shower,
- 53:34Speaker 4: mirrored ceilings and doors, and the doors automatically locked when
- 53:40Speaker 4: you went in and had to be unlocked from someone
- 53:44Speaker 4: on the other side, or you had to use a
- 53:47Speaker 4: special code to get out.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Yeah, so.
- 53:59Speaker 4: He is fai seeing the extradition to the US. The
- 54:02Speaker 4: preliminary inquiry for the charges is scheduled for January twenty eighth,
- 54:07Speaker 4: twenty twenty five. Now in a yeah, I'm like, why
- 54:14Speaker 4: does it take so long? But he's been involved in
- 54:16Speaker 4: several other legal battles, including a long standing feud with
- 54:20Speaker 4: his neighbor Lewis Bacon, who lived at Lyford k and
- 54:25Speaker 4: the Bahamas. The feud between Niguard and Bacon began in
- 54:29Speaker 4: two thousand and five and escalated over the years, resulting
- 54:33Speaker 4: in a lot of public disputes. Now I gave you
- 54:39Speaker 4: some pictures of its card called Niguard K. If you
- 54:43Speaker 4: want to share those, yeah, sure we can share those.
- 54:48Speaker 4: But I mean this property shows the excess and ultimate,
- 54:57Speaker 4: I don't know the word for it. It was insane
- 55:01Speaker 4: how big this property was. Okay, yeah, So when you
- 55:07Speaker 4: came to the property and it was mostly females who
- 55:10Speaker 4: were invited, they took your passport, your identification, your keys,
- 55:17Speaker 4: if you were driving, took your photo. They would send
- 55:23Speaker 4: the photo to Nigard in his security team and he
- 55:26Speaker 4: would decide if they were attractive enough to be let in.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Of course he would.
- 55:36Speaker 4: And he had pamper parties. It's weird where he provided
- 55:44Speaker 4: them with the date rate drug. He would notify the bar.
- 55:50Speaker 4: I mean, look at it. The property is beautiful. But
- 55:55Speaker 4: once again, the women could not leave the property. There
- 56:01Speaker 4: was a gate. You could not leave, and he took
- 56:04Speaker 4: your passport. So now with the end of him, the
- 56:12Speaker 4: Bohemian government hasn't filed charges against him. They however, did
- 56:18Speaker 4: go to court and they took over the property and
- 56:22Speaker 4: they have started the demolition of Nightguard K. So what
- 56:27Speaker 4: I find interesting, the community says the demise of the
- 56:33Speaker 4: property was a bittersweet victory. But while the removal of
- 56:37Speaker 4: the state structures help address some of the environmental damage
- 56:41Speaker 4: caused because guys, he didn't get permission before he did construction.
- 56:47Speaker 4: He did not try to protect the environment whatsoever. Okay,
- 56:54Speaker 4: And like they said, the legacy of what took place
- 56:58Speaker 4: at the estate, exploitation of the young women, the illegal
- 57:02Speaker 4: construction just was awful. And like I said, it was
- 57:07Speaker 4: once a symbol of luxury and excess and now it's
- 57:13Speaker 4: being torn down. What is interesting And I did not
- 57:16Speaker 4: go down this rabbit hole that some of the stuff
- 57:21Speaker 4: has been torn down, but some of it hasn't. And
- 57:25Speaker 4: what's interesting, Google's picture of the property has been photoshopped.
- 57:30Speaker 4: It's not an actual picture.
- 57:33Speaker 1: Really. Oh look, I found another one. Yeah, I mean
- 57:36Speaker 1: just kidding. That's a picture of Spooky Island from Scooby
- 57:39Speaker 1: Doo the movie.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Oh.
- 57:40Speaker 4: I was like, that's the same. But I mean it
- 57:45Speaker 4: had underground caverns, it had you could swim with the sharks,
- 57:49Speaker 4: you could swim with the dolphins.
- 57:53Speaker 1: It.
- 57:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it was the estate they said, had extravagant parties
- 58:00Speaker 4: and the architecture was just amazing. Okay. But like I said,
- 58:07Speaker 4: that legal battle between him and Bacon involved the installation
- 58:12Speaker 4: of a large concrete slab on Bacon's property. So Nightguard
- 58:19Speaker 4: thought he could build this on the neighbor's property to
- 58:23Speaker 4: solve a parking problem. Yeah, so it went round and round.
- 58:34Speaker 4: But in two thousand and seven, Bacon installed industrial grade
- 58:37Speaker 4: speakers at the edge of his property, pointing them at
- 58:41Speaker 4: Niguard's house to disrupt the peace. I mean, they were
- 58:47Speaker 4: tit for tat. The feud spiraled into a global smear campaign,
- 58:53Speaker 4: Niguard allegedly using fake news sites to tarnish Bacon's reputation.
- 58:59Speaker 4: Sound familiar way anyway. January twenty fifteen, Bacon followed a
- 59:04Speaker 4: defamation lawsuit against Niguard, feathering you know, the battle between them,
- 59:12Speaker 4: we cannot it's right. But in twenty twenty three, a
- 59:19Speaker 4: judge awarded Lewis Bacon two hundred and three million in damages.
- 59:26Speaker 4: Now I'm curious how much he will get because you know,
- 59:30Speaker 4: everything has been taken. But like I said, the pressure
- 59:35Speaker 4: was put on him to relinquish control of that property.
- 59:40Speaker 4: I mean, with the FBI investigation into his alleged sex
- 59:43Speaker 4: trafficking underway and numerous lawsuits, Nigard's financial leading legal standing
- 59:49Speaker 4: had weakened, and the Bahamian government, which had long been
- 59:53Speaker 4: frustrated with his disregard for environmental regulations. Guys, I want
- 59:59Speaker 4: you to listen to that. They were upset about the
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: environmental issues. They never filed charges on the ten plus
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: allegations of sexual assault against mine.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: It's too hard.
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: I mean, they care about the environment, you know, I
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: mean I have a huge problem with that. But the
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: Bohemian Supreme Court seized the property, like I said, and
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: he had invested Nightguard had invested millions and millions of
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: dollars into this estate. But by twenty twenty one it
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: was in repair. Now here's what gets interesting, okay, because
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: it all caught up with them. I want to tell
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: you about some of his guests who visited the property.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: Andrew and his family were guests at the property in
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: two thousand, which doesn't surprise me now that we know
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: all of that, right, But I found a list of
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: the people and some of them it hurts my heart.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: And I'm gonna say I am guessing he didn't host
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: his pampered parties while these special guests were there. You know,
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: he had to mix the kept his stuff on the
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: down low.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: George H. W.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: Bush Oprah Winfrey, Robert de Naro, Jessica Alba, Sean Connery.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: No, not Sean Connery.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Like I said, he did. He did do stuff that
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: was you know, on the other side.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: But for some of these people, the list doesn't mean
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: that they participated in right.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: Well, I said they didn't go to the pamper parties.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I think I read that. Jessica Alba once she saw
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: some stuff that was going on at the party.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: Yes, that's all I was getting ready to say. She
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: was there filming with She was there filming the movie
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: with Paul Walker. And now I can't think of the
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: name of the movie. Oh it was they were Blue
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: into the Blue and invited her there and she was like, yeah,
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: something's not right here, and she got the heck got
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: a dodge. So, like I said, they started demolishing the
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: buildings in April of twenty twenty three. But what's interesting
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: about that. It's a Google photoshop, So there is speculation
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: that the government is keeping some of the buildings because
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: they've claimed that land. So there is a whole bunch
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: of hole blue around that, and it's a whole rabbit
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: hole if you want to go down it. The one
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: thing that I loved. The media played a crucial role
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: in bringing Peter Nightguard's crimes to light. I mean, several
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: documentaries and podcasts have been produced about his life and
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: the allegations against him. On December seventeenth, twenty twenty, two
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: days after his rest, it was reported that Discovery Plus
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: was releasing a series about him they had been working on.
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: They had interviews with his family members and former employees.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Now his personal life was just as interesting, Okay. He
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: has ten children born to eight different women, by eight
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: different women. One of the women was a supermodel, Beverly Peel.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: She was signing a contract with him, and I didn't
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: put this in my script, but I'm gonna go ahead
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: and tell you about it. He raped her the night
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: she sign the contract, after she signed the contract, and
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: she got pregnant and had his child and continued working
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: for him because he had put her in a situation
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: where she had to When she told her son about
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: the bad things his dad had done at eleven, her
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: son says, Mom, you need to tell you don't need
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: to hide it anymore. And he convinced her to go public.
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: And he had tried to hold up that persona that
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: he was a devoted dad and YadA YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: One of his sons, two of his sons are supporting
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: the victims. One of his sons called out his dad
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: when he saw his dad trying to make a move
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: on an eight year old girl, and he was a
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: whistleblower and things went downhill from there because he stood
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: up for them. Now, the mothers of his children all
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: come from diverse backgrounds. You know, some of them were
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: romantically involved with him. Some of them, as we've learned,
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: they became mothers because he assaulted them. So the legal
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: and media storms surrounding his children, I mean around his
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: arrest has impacted his children. Two have his daughters worked
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: for him in the company, so they lost their jobs.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: And like I said, two of his sons accusing him
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: of orchestrating their sexual assault by a known sex worker.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: One of the sons was fifteen when he was raped
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: in the Bahamas at his dad it's insistence that he'd
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: be made a man. Fourteen years later, when his other
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: son was fourteen, he was raped two in the Bahamas
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: by the same woman.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: That's called the the Yep, Nope, not going to make
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: that joke. This is shitty I mean, who does that?
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: I mean, who does that?
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: He does?
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: I don't, I don't know. I just like I said
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: about Beverly Peels, she is the most famous victim who's
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: come forward and given her name. A lot of them
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: have kept their name to theirselves, and I totally understand
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: that in respect that you've been through a lot.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: In two twelve, Nightguard was awarded a Queen Elizabeth to
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: Diamond Jubilee Medal, which now stands in start contrast to
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: who he is. And in two thousand and two, the
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: town of Manitoba, where he grew up, they had done
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: a commemorative plaque and named a park in his honor. However,
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: in May of twenty twenty, guess what, they changed the
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: name to Prairie Sentinel Park because nobody wanted that name
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: on there. But the reason I wanted to bring this
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: up because I think it's becoming very important for us
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: to understand that money, wealth power can be used for bad.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: And do not sell yourself short just because you want
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: to go to a glitzy party and you think it's
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: gonna be fun, don't go. Just gonna say, and if
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: it's on an island, don't go.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: You could show up to a glitzy party and it's
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: all champagne and fun, and then somebody breaks out the baby.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: Oil that's lace with GHB because Nightguard would put GHB
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: in the cocktails. That's why he had special cocktails at
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: his pamper party. I said he had a brilliant business mind.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: He could have done a lot of good. He worked
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: really hard, and we saw that he had smarts in business.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: But he is a disgrace. His wealth and success, all
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: of the legacy he tried to build is gone. I mean,
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: these allegations are not going to go away. He has
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: already been found guilty. You know, he's got eleven years
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: in prison. I want to believe he's eighty eight or
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: eighty six, or he's eighty three. But he does still
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: face legal challenges, and there's going to be further convictions
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: when he comes to the US if he still lives,
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: and he is going to finish the rest of his
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: life in prison where I hope somebody is doing to
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: him what he did to others. And I just want
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: to say, I hope all of his children. I can't
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: imagine what it would be like to have all of
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: this come out about your dad and the sons, what
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: they had to go through. So I want to send
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: them all of my best. But that is my case.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I don't like it. Yeah, I don't like. You know
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: what else I don't like. I don't like the case
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I'm about to present. But here we are. I don't know.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: So first off, my bad for my voice being tired.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I read forty six pages of Richard Allen's odin memo
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: last night from his defense attorneys on the transcript, and boy,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: it's tired. So that is why I sound the way
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: I do. I kind of like it. I like it
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: when your.
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: Voice is raspy.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Good night reminds me of that night. And you might
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: want to further explain that.
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: No, we're just gonna leave that and just we're just
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: gonna let that go. If they were watching the live.
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: If they were watching the live, they know what happened.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: We talked about the opera, Santa, we talked about we
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: talked about a lot of things in the beginning of
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: this show, and we've got them in a certain mindset
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: and now we mentioned that, and that's not great.
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: So the only sex that was happening was between on
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: Frankie and grace.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: And that was between Martin Sheen and the other fun. Yes,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: so tonight we are talking about a case that not
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: only shocked the world, but it left a huge scar,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: a deep scar on the hearts of many. It's a
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: story of beauty, success and a bright future that were
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: all cut short by a nightmare that none of us
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: can even imagine. Abby Choi was more than just a lady,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: and Gray and Angie are like Batman? Where is she?
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Abbi Choi was more than just a rising star. She
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: was a daughter, a mother, and a friend. She was
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: a young woman whose life was full of promise and love.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Her elegance and kindness captivated those who knew her, and
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: she had the world at her feet. But behind those
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: smiles and glamor, there were shadows lurking, and shadows that
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: would ultimately lead to an unspeakable tragedy. On that fateful day,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Abby's life was brutally taken from her in a way
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: that no one should ever endure. Her death wasn't just
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: a loss for those who loved her, but a reminder
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: of how quickly a beautiful life can be destroyed by
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: the darkest sides of human nature. As Chief Judge Belvin
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Perry Junior said in our interview with him on Monday,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: it's incredible what humans will do to other humans. Tonight,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I will talk about the devastating details of Abbe Choy's murder,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: not just to tell a tragic story, but to remember
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: her for who she was, a beacon of light whose
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: life was stolen way too soon. This isn't just about
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: a crime. It's about a life, a legacy, and the
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: reminder that we always have to seek justice for those
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: who can no longer speak for themselves. Now. Abby was
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: not just a rising star in the world of fashion
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: and model modeling, but she was a force to be
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: reckoned with, an individual whose elegance and style transcended borders
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: and cultures. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Abby's passion
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: for fashion in rhymes didn't realize that. But when I'm
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: saying it.
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: Did good, I was getting ready to say lady great.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Oh it was me this time. You will notice it's lacking.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: It's not lady and grace. So uh. She Her passion
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: began began early, and she quickly made a name for
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: herself in an industry where true success is really hard
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: to attain. Much like Oh I Don't Know, live streaming
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: and podcasting. Her career blossomed as she walked the runway
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: and graced the covers of magazines, captivating audiences with her
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: striking beauty and effortless charm. Her unique sense of style
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: was her signature, and she quickly became a fixture at
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: high profile fashion events. She was frequently seen at Paris
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Fat yeah right, She's frequently seen at Paris Fashion Week,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah Yeah, and other major global fashion hubs. Her
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: collaborations with prestigious luxury brands further solidified her status as
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: a sought after model, whether posting an avant garde designs
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: or elegant cotoon. I learned those words from RuPaul's drag Race.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Abby had an ability to make fashion come alive. Her
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: confidence on the runway, paired with her creativity and I
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: for her detail, made her stand out. She was very, very,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: very special in that world. He horizon fashion was also
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: mirrored by her growing presence on social media, where she
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: shared her journey, her looks, glimpses of her personal life
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: with an audience that just continued to grow. She used
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: platforms like Instagram to showcase her life both as a
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: professional model and a mother. Fans from all over the
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: world were drawn to her not only for her fashion expertise,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: but also for her down to earth approach approachable nature.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Now her posts often combined a mix of high fashion
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: and family life. It painted a picture of a woman
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: who balanced the glamour of modeling with the responsibilities of motherhood.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: And I mean beyond her career she was. Her most
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: cherished role was the mother to four children. She was
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: a devoted and loving mother. She prioritized her her children
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: despite her busy schedule, and her Instagram often featured heartwarming
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: moments with her kids, giving her followers a good look
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: into the softer side of her life. And from birthday
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: celebrations to simple moments of joy, it was very, very
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: clear that Abby's children were everything to her. Of course,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: you know, balance right right. Of course, balancing a demanding career,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: even if successful, with raising four kids as no easy task.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Abby took that challenge, and she did it. She did
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: it gracefully, even as she traveled all around the world
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: for fashion shows and photo shoots. Her commitment to being
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: present for her kids remained unwavering, and those who knew
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: her best spoke of the deep love she had for
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: them and the length she would go to and share
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: their health and happiness. Her personal relationships were often, as
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: with other celebrities, at the center of the public's interest,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: particularly her past marriage to Alex Quang and her more
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: recent relationship with Chris Tam. Her marriage to Alex Kwang
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: marked a significant chapter. The couple had children together, and
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: although their relationship eventually ended in divorce, Abby remained connected
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: to the Quang family, and this would become pivotal to
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: her story later on. Despite their separation, Abby continued to
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: provide financial support to both Alex and his family, which
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: was a gesture from her that really truly showcased her
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: generosity and compassion, even in the wake of a marriage
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: that ended.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean co parenting is one thing, right, Wow.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I mean paying for your your ex husband to live
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: in your family.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: Yeah, she is a better person than me.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: So while Abby had moved on in her personal life,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: that continued support created a complicated dynamic between her and
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: her former in laws. Despite despite difficulties or past tensions,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: she decided to maintain financial ties. At the time of
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: her death, she was in a committed relationship with Chris
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Tam a businessman with whom she had a very happy life.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: He was supportive. Their relationship was a fresh start for Abby,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: and together they created a family that reflected important values
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: for Abbey, including love, partnership, and respect. This relationship offered
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Abby the peace and stability that she was not able
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: to get from her previous relationships. Chris Honestly, Chris sounds
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: like a great guy, and he was key in her
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: personal and professional journey. And he supported Abby and raise
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: her kids. Sound like double which is amazing, right, right
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: if Double H was from Hong Kong. The first sign
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: that something was wrong came when Abby failed to pick
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: up her children from school on February twenty first, which
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: is a task that she rarely missed. Her family and
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: friends immediately grew concerned. After all, this behavior was completely
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: out of character, and when no one could reach her
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: and her location and her location was still unknown, her
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: family filed a missing person's report with the Hong Kong Police,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: as one would do right. The police's initial investigation was
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: launched to track down her movements, but they weren't able
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: to find much in the first two days. Abbey's family
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: and friends feared the worst as the lack of communication
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: from Abby and the quick disappearance continued, and the search
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: for her came to an extremely sad, grim and horribly
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: horrific conclusion. In February twenty third, twenty twenty three. This
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: is very recent two days. This was two days after
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: she was reported missing, Hong Kong police made a shocking
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: discovery and a rented apartment located at Lungbai Village, Typo.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: The apartment was reportedly rented by Abbey's former father in law,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: and it was there that police found her dismembered body.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: It escalated quickly. The crime scene was a house of horrors,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: an international version of Joel Guide Junior, except worse. Inside
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: the apartment, police discovered Abbey's severed legs stored in a
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: refrigerator and a large soup pot containing various body parts,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: including a skull with a large fracture, ribs, and other remains.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: It was incredibly clear that parts of her body had
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: been cooked in the pot. The crime and its incredibly
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: brutal nature shocked the community and media throughout the world,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: and Captain made a comment so that apartment was not
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: paid for by her. That apartment was rented by her
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: father in law. I'll explain that in a little bit.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: She did, though, pay for a very very nice apartment
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: for them.
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: That's why he could afford to pay for the rent
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: on this other apartment. So she still helped pay for that.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, so yes yes indirectly. Yes.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: The crime shocked the community and media. The act was incomprehensible,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: and it demonstrated the killer's absolute disregard for human life.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Investigators were stunned by the sheer amount of forensic evidence
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: that was found in the apartment, indicating that it had
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: been used for the specific purpose of dismembering her. The
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: presence of tools painted a chilling picture of the methodical
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: and premeditated nature of the crime. We will talk more
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: about those in a little bit. Blood spatter and tissue
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: were found.
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: Hm, did he rent this apartment just to kill her?
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: It?
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: Holy fuck?
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Oh get ready. Blood spatter and tissue were found throughout
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: the apartment, leading police to conclude that Abby had been
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: killed and dismembered at this location shortly after she was abducted. Now,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: let's talk a little bit about the motive of the murder.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: At the heart of her murder was financial. It's always
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: fucking money, driven by greed and a growing fear of
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: losing financial support. There was a dispute that centered around
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: a multi million dollar luxury property in Hong Kong that
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Abby had purchased for her former in laws, the Quang family.
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: Multi time million.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: Let me see if I can find a picture of
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: this it's apartment. I mean, yeah, the.
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: Things humans do to each other, I can't.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I can't find something right off the bat. So I'm
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: not going to continue to waste time. But there was
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: a dispute that centered around uh but around that property.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Though Abby funded the property, it was registered under the
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: name of her former father in law, Quang Cow. Now
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: you'll notice that for typically the elders of a family,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: I call them by their last name first, their first
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: name last, because that's how they do it. So name
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Cow quon Cow. This arrangement, why.
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: Why was it in the father in law's name instead
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: of the X has is.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I don't have older Yeah? Probably the family yeah? Probably.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: Also the other her ex was not exactly the most trustworthy,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: and we'll find that out in a litit here. So
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: this arrangement was the result of Abbi's aforementioned continued generosity.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: You see. Abby's financial success as a model and influencer
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: meant that she was able to provide substantial financial assistance
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: to her ex husband's family. However, there were tensions within
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: the family when Abbi communicated that she needed to sell
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: the property. The Quang family was now financially dependent on her,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: and this would cut off a massive source of their
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: financial security. The Quang family, especially the father in law,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: feared that they would lose not only their home but
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: also their lifestyle, which had been largely sustained by her wealth,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: and that feeling of insecurity continue to grow and it
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: lit a fire under their feeling of financial instability. In addition,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: they resented Abby for her decision to sell the property. Now,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: I hate math and I really hate this formula, but
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: when you add all of those things together, you get
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: a family that's driven to take extreme measures to protect
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: their financial interests and the way they look to others.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: Abby's potential decision to withdraw her financial support to the
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: family push the situation from tension to fatal violence. I'm
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: going to take a quick side step real quickly. And
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: the reason why I mentioned this is I thought it'd
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: be a really good idea to kind of talk statistics
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: and compare to them the US to give you an
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: idea of the context regarding how shocking this case was
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: to Hong Kong and the world.
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: But to Hong Kong, they're also very family driven. They
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: protect their families. They're all about family, right.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: She warn't blood right yep. So the stats that I
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: was able to find are from twenty fourteen, which are
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: ten years ago. So I think we should probably consider
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: the divide if there is one ah worse, to be
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: honest with you. In terms of general crime levels, Hong
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: Kong's ranked eighty eighth, and that might sound high, but
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: the United States has a level four times higher than
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Hong Kong at thirtieth. Hong Kong ranks fifth in regards
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: to feeling safe walking alone at night, ninety seven percent
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: more than the United States, which is at sixtieth, and
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: they feel safe walking alone during the day nineteen percent
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: more than the United States. In regards to fear of
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: violent hate crime, worries about being attacked, worries about being
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: insulted or mugged or robbed, Those fears and worries are
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: two times more in the United States than in Hong Kong.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Now in regards to violent crime murders per one million,
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: the United States is ranked ninety ninth with forty two
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: murders per one million in twenty ten, and Hong Kong's
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: ranked at one hundred and ninety second with two point
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: four murders at one million in twenty eleven. Then again,
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: the United States is first with one hundred and twenty
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: guns owned per one hundred residents, while Hong Kong is
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: at one hundred and thirty first with four per one
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: hundred residents. I'll just leave everyone with those thoughts. Come
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: to the conclusions yourself. The point is a murder of
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: this magnitude. While it might only last a couple of
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: news cycles here in the States until the trial, that is,
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: it would be a huge story in Hong Kong, especially
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: if it involves someone like Abby Choi. So now that
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: we have kind of that context, let's get into the
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: details of the murder. The murder was not an impulsive
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: act of violence. It was horrifyingly quite the opposite. This
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: was a calculated plot, carefully orchestrated by the Quang family.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: The plan was premeditated and involved not just one person
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: going rogue, but multiple members of the family. Each playing
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: a role. I'm I don't like the fact that I
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: was able to add swerves to this story, but the
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: swerves are ridiculous. On the day of her murder, Abby
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: was lured to a rented apartment in Lungmi Village, Typo
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: under the false pretense of attending a meeting to discuss
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: issues related to her children. The ruse was designed to
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: make Abby believe the meeting was crucial for her family life,
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: which would absolutely ensure her cooperation and attendance. Of course,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: it would trusting the Quangs with whom she had co
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: parents earned her children. Abby went to the apartment unaware
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: of what was said for her. Once she arrived at
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: the apartment, the Quang family left into action, pretty much
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: ambushing Abbey. Details of the attacks show that Abby was
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: quickly incapacitated, and the investigators believed that she was either
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: killed immediately upon arrival or shortly after. The apartment itself
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: had been carefully prepared for what was to follow, a
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: plan to dismember her body and dispose of it in
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: a way as to avoid detection. Inside the apartment, investigators
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: discovered various tools that had been purchased for the purpose
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: of mutilating Abbey's body, including meat grinders, saws, and cleavers.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: The family even brought along large cooking utensils, including a
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: soup pot, in an effort to further destroy her remains.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: Abby's legs, as I mentioned, were found stored in the refrigerator,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: while other parts of her body, including skull and ribs,
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: were placed in soup pot. Her skull was fractured, indicating
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: that she had suffered significant head trauma, which was possibly
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: a result of blunt force before being dismembered. The scene
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: inside the apartment can only be described as macabre, as
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: body parts were stored and cooked. The Quang family.
- 1:30:08Speaker 4: Was the mother in law involved in this.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: We'll get there. The Quang family was brutal, but they
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: were also determined to destroy or completely eradicate all evidence
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: of the crime. The dismemberment and attempted disposal of Abbi's
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: body were deliberate acts to make her disappear completely. The
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: rented apartment was isolated and the tools were chosen methodically
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: in order to make the job easy and efficient. The
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: investigators believed the family intended to slowly dispose of the
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: body parts, either by cooking or through other means. To
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: ensure that Abbi would never be found. No body, no crime,
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: I suppose now. The investigatation began immediately. The discovery of
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: Abby's fate left in investigators scrambling for answers and launched
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: an intensive investigation to identify those responsible for her death.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: Within hours, the police had pieced together Abbi's final movements,
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: and suspicions quickly turned towards her former in laws, the Quangs.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: Abby had maintained, as I mentioned, financial ties with them.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: Tansions were growing that assisted I would imagine. Investigators soon
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: found evidence linking the family to the crime, particularly regarding
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: the rented apartment where her remains were found. This was
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: well pretty easy because the apartment was leased by Kwang
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: Kao just weeks before the murder. With the investigators using
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: forensic evidence from the scene, witness testimonies, and information gathered
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: from Abbie's close associates, the police identified the the Quang
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: family as key suspects in her murder. The investigation pointed
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: to a deliberate plan that had been set in motion
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: by the Quangs. The difficulty with a crime like this, though,
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: is that it's nearly impossible to find the entirety of
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: the body. The search for the missing hands and torso
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: and other body parts remained ongoing. More more than a
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: hundred officers were tasked with searching for the missing hands
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: and torso in various locations. As the investigation continued to unfold,
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: the police acted swiftly to apprehend the people involved in
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: abby Choice murder because it was in fact multiple individuals.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I'm going to go through these individuals, but then at
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: the end I will do just a list of them
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: and what they did, just so we have a nice summary.
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: I don't like these people. I'm just gonna say right now.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: I don't like this family, don't I don't either. I
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: actually never looked up their pictures or what they look like.
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: That is, do they have the death penalty in Hong Kong.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: I'll talk about that too. I'm hitting all of the
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: questions tonight.
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: I'm love, Thank you Jesus.
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: So. On February twenty fifth, twenty twenty three, just two
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: days after her body was discovered, the authorities arrested three suspects.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: First was Kwang Kao, as stated before, who had rented
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: the apartment where Abbe's body was found, and it was
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: he who had orchestrated the plan to kill and dismember her.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: Then there was Anthony Kwang, Abby's former brother in law,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: who also played a big role. Anthony had acted as
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: the driver who transported Abbi to the rented apartment under
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: the guise of discussing family matters related to her children.
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: He was also involved in the planning and execution of
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: the dismemberment and body disposal, and that made him a
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: gig key figure. And then, to answer your question, the
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: third person was Alex's mother, Jenny Lee, who was also
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: arrested on suspicion of obstruction of justice. Investigators believed she
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: assisted in covering up the crime and tried mislead and
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: thwart authorities during the investigation. Her arrests showed the community
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: that the entire Quang family was complicit in some capacity
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: in the murder of Abbi Choi.
- 1:34:11Speaker 4: You didn't mention her ex husband.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: After a citywide man hunt by police, Alex Quang Abby's
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: ex husband was arrested after he unsuccessfully attempted to flee
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: Hong Kong. He was captured while attempting to escape by
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: boat and was arrested at Tung Chung Peer and taken
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: into custody, Alex tried to evade capture by fleeing to
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: outlying islands, likely hoping to leave the jurisdiction before authorities
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: could close in on him. His arrest was the first
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: breakthrough in the case. But that's not where the involvement ended.
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: That's not where the list of horrendous people stopped. Because
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: of course there are more people and we will get there.
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: Seven yep I said seven before that though, on February
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: twenty seventh, twenty twenty three, the police proceeded with murder
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: charges against Alex Kwang, his brother, and father, while charging
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: his mother with perverting to cause the course of justice.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: All suspects were denied bail. Not only that, but Alex
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: Kuwang was a suspect behind seven alleged cases of theft
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: that occurred nearly a decade before Abby was killed. Which
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: is why I think that he wasn't trusted with some
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: of this stuff, right, It's why I think his name
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: wasn't on the apartment.
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: That's why she knew he wasn't okay.
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a reason why they weren't together anymore, and
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: he had once ran despite being scheduled to appear in
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: court in twenty fifteen as well, so Quang was charged
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: for all those cases as well. Yay. On March second,
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: twenty twenty, a sixth suspect, forty one year old Lam
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: Shum was Shun, was arrested on suspicion of aiding and
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: a betting Alex to escape Hong Kong by boat for
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: a payment sum of Hong Kong three hundred thousand dollars,
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: which is thirty eight thousand, six twenty six dollars and
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: fifty seven cents United States. He was charged on March sixth.
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: That was granted bail. Here's my favorite part and worst
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: part is that I'm pretty sure Alex used money that
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: was given to him by Abby.
- 1:36:32Speaker 4: To do's excited.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: I don't have proof of that. But where else was
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: he gonna get this money?
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: Well, obviously the family didn't get off the rast and
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: get a job.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:36:45Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: A seventh suspect named Irene punhu Yin, a twenty nine
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: year old Hong konger and friend of Alex, was also
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: arrested in shen Sen, shens and shen China on March
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: seventh for a betting Quong in his attempt to escape.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: He was charged on March eighth, and was granted bail
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: along with a travel ban to prevent her from leaving
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: Hong Kong. According to the laws of Hong Kong, a
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: conviction for murder carries a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment. Originally,
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: the death penalty was the sole legal punishment for murder
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: in Hong Kong before it was abolished in ninety three.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: Now judges are able to impose life sentences instead, so
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: there is no death life sentences.
- 1:37:35Speaker 4: I disagree for this family.
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: Well yeah, and I'm sure they disagree right along with you,
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: Oh Jeers.
- 1:37:45Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: I will say this though. I don't know what the
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: prisons are like in Hong Kong, but I have a
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: feeling it's worse than death.
- 1:37:52Speaker 4: So I hope so. Because here in the States, I'm
- 1:37:55Speaker 4: not saying the prisons great, but you do get three squares,
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: you get Nintendo or Boxy X things.
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: I am assuming that they were overpopulated and that they're
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: really shitty, because if there are that few murders, there's
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: no reason to fund them that much, right my thought.
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: But I'm sure there's a lot of other shit that
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: happens there, so I don't know. I'm talking out my butt.
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: In a development in the case, Abby's mother filed at
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: court in junction to keep Kwang Kyo from selling the
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: property that was linked to Abby's murder. In addition, she
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: sought to seek a declaration that her daughter was the
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: beneficiary owner of that apartment. On May eighth, twenty twenty three,
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: six of the seven suspects behind Choi's murder appeared in court.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: Over thirty exhibits were seized by the police, including knives, chainsaws,
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: and hammers from the village. In December of twenty twenty three,
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: Alex Kwang and two of the in laws were charged
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: with preventing choice burial. In April twenty twenty four, Lamb
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: and Pun were charged jointly with preventing the course of
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: justice by assisting Alex Kuang to escape Hong Kong So.
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: In summary, the following people, if you can call them
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: human beings, were charged and involved one Alex Kuang Kong
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: Chi twenty eight years old. This sex husband was Choi's
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: ex husband charged with murder. Anthony Kuang Kong Kit thirty one,
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: Alex's brother and Choi's former brother in law charged with
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: murder Kwangko sixty five Alex Kuang and Anthony Kuang's father
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: choice former father in law, charged with murder. Jenny Lee
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: Hui Hung sixty three. Alex Kwang and Anthony Kuong's mother
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: choice former mother in law, charged with preventing the course
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: of justice Ning Chi Wing forty seven Kwang Cow's By
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: the way, I didn't even get into this, but Kwang
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: Kao had a mistress.
- 1:39:58Speaker 4: Of course he did. He pried at the to pay
- 1:40:00Speaker 4: for He.
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: Was sixty five, she was forty seven. She was charged
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: with assisting a murder suspect. Number six Henry Lumshun forty one,
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: Alex Kwang's friend, charged with a betting a murder suspect,
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: and then finally number seven, Irene punhauyin twenty nine, charged
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: with a betting a murder suspect while awaiting trial for
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: murdering his ex wife. Alex Kwang was sentenced to three
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: and a half years imprisonment for the six other charges
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: of theft and jumping bail, all which he played guilty to.
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: Now to kind of wrap this up, the murder left
- 1:40:38Speaker 1: Abby's family and partner Chris Tam devastated. Shortly after the
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: discovery of her remains, her family and Chris release statements
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: through their representatives expressing their grief over the tragic gloss
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: of Abby. Chris tam, who was by Abby's side through
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: her rise in the fashion world and had helped co
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: parent her children, was heartbroken. His statement reflected the anguish
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: that he felt, calling Abby the love of his life
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: and a devoted mother who had so much more to
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: give to the world. The family requested privacy, and appropriately so,
- 1:41:14Speaker 1: emphasizing that they needed to mourn in peace and come
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: to terms with the horrifying reality that Abby is no
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: longer with them. Despite the desire for privacy, their grief
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: has been palpable as they struggled to comprehend how someone
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: so full of life and kindness could be torn from
- 1:41:32Speaker 1: their life in such a violent way. The emotional toll
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: extended to her children. Abby's family promised to protect and
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: care for her children, promising that they are surrounded by love.
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: Her murder also not just through her family, but her
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: murder also impacted the fashion industry too, where she made
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: a name for herself. Abby was a fiction during that
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: area and collaborated with a ton of brands, and it's
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: safe to say that her influence was growing tributes poured
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: in from across the fashion world, expressing sorrow at the
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: loss of someone who was both talented and generous. Social
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: media was flooded with posts from her followers, many of
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: whom admired Abbey for her authenticity. There were moments of
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: silence at fashion shows and online memorials as designers, models
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: and fans mourned the loss of Abbey. And While Abbey's
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: death shocked the world, it also raised awareness of issues
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: related to domestic violence, financial abuse, and the exploitation of
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: successful women. Although no significant legal changes have yet resulted
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: from this case it's only been a year, the public
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: discourse surrounding her murder has shone a light on these
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: often hidden issues. Advocates for domestic violence victims have used
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: to Abbey's case to highlight the danger's women face, even
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: from those they once trusted and loved. In addition, the chilling,
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: chilling details of how Abby was manipulated and ultimately killed
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: by her former in laws have prompted discussions about the
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: legal protections for individuals and financial disputes, particularly in cases
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: involving family dynamics. Her case has brought attention to the
- 1:43:27Speaker 1: importance of addressing signs of exploitation and manipulation early, as
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: well as the need for stronger legal frameworks to protect
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: vulnerable individuals from financial coercion. Now, obviously, this case leaves
- 1:43:43Speaker 1: us with a profound sense of loss, and one that
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: words truly can't express, even though I was able to
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: findly eighteen pages.
- 1:43:50Speaker 2: To do it.
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: The violence and betrayal that ended Abby's life leaves us
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: with heavy hearts, especially without a legal conclusion, because it's
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: still going on. But in the midst of this grief,
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: we should always remember Abby for who she truly was.
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: She wasn't just a victim of a horrific crime. She
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: was a talented woman with dreams and ambitions. She was
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: a mother who adored her children, a partner who loved freely,
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: and a person who touched the lives of everyone she met.
- 1:44:27Speaker 4: Her.
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: Her story reminds us of the unseen struggles that people face,
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: even those who seem to live lives filled with beauty
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: and success. It's a reminder that behind closed doors, hidden
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: battles may be waged in silence, and it reminds me
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: of the lyrics to a brand new song that was
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: released on an album by Jelly roll that's called everyone bleeds.
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: And the lyrics are you can fly so close to heaven,
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: make a million bucks or barely making living, ride in
- 1:44:59Speaker 1: high or down, begging on your knees. Everyone bleeds. Everyone bleeds,
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: just like me. And that's the case of Abby CHOI.
- 1:45:11Speaker 4: I hate it. I hate it, I hate it, I
- 1:45:15Speaker 4: hate it.
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: I hate it. Right. I also remember.
- 1:45:23Speaker 4: Seeing social media post about this person, but I don't
- 1:45:29Speaker 4: follow a lot of that kind of stuff, so I
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: never looked into it. I had no idea the atrocities.
- 1:45:41Speaker 1: And and and and she was I mean, she was
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: both classically and in a modern sense. Even if she
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: wasn't gorgeous. This is a really shitty way to go.
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: Nobody should be. Anybody should but just to everybody, just
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: you know, a picture of this.
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: That's at But she was smart too, I mean, and
- 1:46:09Speaker 4: she loved her children. She showed that you can still
- 1:46:13Speaker 4: follow your dreams and still be a great mom.
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: For four children or I barely could survive. And then
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: in a quote unquote non traditional family right co parenting
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: with someone you know, divorced from someone else.
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: Yeah, the thing that I is going through my mind
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: sounds like her father in law was more the one
- 1:46:41Speaker 4: that had a problem than her husband. Yes, yes, I
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: guess husband was stealing robin and getting money. But how
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: do you as people ever heard the saying don't bite
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: the hand that feeds you. I mean, she went out
- 1:47:02Speaker 4: of her way and still helped them, and they did
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: this start.
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: That's that's Kwang Cow right there. Let me see if
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: it names the other folks. Alex Quang right here, Kwang Cow,
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: Jenny Lee, and that's Anthony Kwang, Alex's brother, so fucking young.
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: And the father didn't give two ships. He didn't about it.
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: He ruined his entire over money, entire.
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: Family and then some So you know, hopefully I catch
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: wind of, you know, some of the results of this.
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: But I guarantee you that if there was a case
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: where Hong Kong would be like shit, what happened in
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: ninety three where we got rid of the death penalty?
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: This this is the case that's like fucking blow on
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: the cartridge and plug it back in. Yeah, so our four.
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: Children, you know, yeah, I'm gonna not cry here. How
- 1:48:22Speaker 4: those four children grow up? That a lot of times
- 1:48:26Speaker 4: it's just one family member who does something so horrible. Ah,
- 1:48:35Speaker 4: looks the trolls back. Yes, it's okay, Hi, wrapper, My
- 1:48:43Speaker 4: makeup's just fine, honey. Normally it's one family member.
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: He doesn't know what it looks like.
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: Normally it's one family member. But can you imagine being
- 1:48:56Speaker 4: a child.
- 1:48:58Speaker 3: Your dad, your grandfather, your grandmother, your uncle, plus all
- 1:49:08Speaker 3: these other people, But I mean, for.
- 1:49:11Speaker 4: Four people that are supposed to love you, protect you,
- 1:49:16Speaker 4: and take care of you.
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I am.
- 1:49:21Speaker 4: And then they take your mom.
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: I mean just there's very little solace in this, but
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: it is something. And when I read that Abby's family
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: was taking them in and was going to show them
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: what it looks like, or continue to show them what
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: it looks like, Yeah, to love and be surrounded by that.
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: Yeah, they're gonna go like lost it, They're gonna get Yeah.
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: And I am certain Abby set up Chris and her
- 1:49:56Speaker 1: kids and her family in the event something ever.
- 1:49:59Speaker 4: Had, so I can only imagine Chris is going to
- 1:50:03Speaker 4: stay in their lives. Just because Abby's gone doesn't mean
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: he's going to go away, which makes me truly.
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: She reminds me somewhat of like my mom, where my
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: mom selflessly connected with others, wanted to genuinely know who
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: they you know, how they were doing get to know
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: their stories. And I think Abby was the same way
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: to get the fashion industry, which is very cutthroat. Ye you,
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: in general accept somebody like that is unheard of, and
- 1:50:41Speaker 1: so I think even if her family was either not
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: there or not up for it, I think her kids
- 1:50:49Speaker 1: would have had and Chris would have had a massive
- 1:50:51Speaker 1: and have a massive support system in that industry, which
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: is Incredible's he backs.
- 1:51:03Speaker 4: He's back, You know what I have to say. I
- 1:51:08Speaker 4: love the fact he has nothing better to do than
- 1:51:12Speaker 4: come on here in troll. I mead, hey, I love
- 1:51:16Speaker 4: making a man's night.
- 1:51:21Speaker 1: I think you'll have one, that's right.
- 1:51:25Speaker 4: So I, you know, thank you for that. But I
- 1:51:31Speaker 4: agree because that industry is very close knit, and those
- 1:51:39Speaker 4: children will have Auntie's uncle's mentors.
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: For sure, and it's not as good obviously, you know.
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: It is not a substitute, but it's something.
- 1:51:55Speaker 4: It is something that looks person was, so you know,
- 1:52:02Speaker 4: them being raised by her family, they're gonna be good
- 1:52:06Speaker 4: people's too. Thank God, it's not their dad's side of
- 1:52:13Speaker 4: the family. And I hope Kwang is somebody's bitch. I
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: know I shouldn't say that, but I do hope.
- 1:52:20Speaker 1: So considering that most of their stuff is like overpopulated,
- 1:52:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with yeah, And considering most of the
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: fellas in that prison probably knew who Abby is, I'm
- 1:52:31Speaker 1: gonna go with yeah. Good, I hope so.
- 1:52:36Speaker 4: I hope he enjoys it every push.
- 1:52:41Speaker 1: Not only that, but I hope some of those guys
- 1:52:43Speaker 1: in that prison have Abby's posters chilling on the wall,
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: not for Abby's sake, but so that he that would
- 1:52:49Speaker 1: stare at her every day.
- 1:52:52Speaker 4: That's what you know. I didn't think about that. I
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: did not think about that. Well, I wish you could
- 1:53:02Speaker 4: sell you. I hated it.
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, I know, I know, I know. All
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: right here here here, let me let me end it
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: with a really shitty joke, shall I sure?
- 1:53:19Speaker 4: I would love it?
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: If you're American when you go in the bathroom, an
- 1:53:25Speaker 1: American when you come out? What are you when you're
- 1:53:28Speaker 1: in the bathroom?
- 1:53:29Speaker 4: European singing? I know about what?
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: What did the fish say when he swam into the wall?
- 1:53:42Speaker 4: I don't know that one?
- 1:53:45Speaker 1: Damn.
- 1:53:50Speaker 4: You want to know my favorite joke? Do you know
- 1:53:55Speaker 4: what Mickey's favorite vehicle is? A mini van?
- 1:54:05Speaker 1: You know? That opens up for some fan fiction I'm
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: not comfortable.
- 1:54:08Speaker 4: With he likes minivans. Do you know why Tigger was
- 1:54:14Speaker 4: looking in the toilet?
- 1:54:18Speaker 1: He was looking for a little poopoo. All right, I've
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: got two more. I got two more. Let me see
- 1:54:26Speaker 1: if I can find Actually, I lied, I got three more.
- 1:54:30Speaker 1: I got three. Give it to me. All right. Here's
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: the first one. It's called the canine. It was the
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: end of the day when I parked my police van
- 1:54:38Speaker 1: in front of the station. As I gathered my equipment,
- 1:54:41Speaker 1: my canine partner, Jake, was barking, and I saw a
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: little boy staring in at me. Is that a dog
- 1:54:46Speaker 1: you've got back in there? He asked? Sure? Is? I replied, puzzled.
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: The boy looked at me and then looked towards the
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: back of the van. Finally looked at me again, and
- 1:54:55Speaker 1: he said, what did he do? All right? Last one
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: called the vet? No, sorry, second the last one called
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: the vet. A woman brings her parakeet to the vet.
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: The bird is stiff and lifeless. I'm sorry, but this
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: parakeet's dead. How can you know? So quickly? She replies?
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: Is there a better way so that you can be
- 1:55:18Speaker 1: absolutely certain? The vet whistles, and a black labrador walks
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: into the room. The lab sniffs the parakeet and looks
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: at the vet with sad eyes and shakes his head.
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: A dog shakes his head, and I'm supposed to accept that,
- 1:55:31Speaker 1: said the woman. You're going to have to do better
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: than that to prove my poor parakeet is dead. The
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: vet leaves momentarily and comes back with a cat. The
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: cat hops up on the table and looks closely at
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: the parakeet. After walking around it, she prods the bird
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: a bit and then shakes her head and jumps off
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: the table. Finally, the woman's convinced. As she turns to
- 1:55:53Speaker 1: the doctor, the vet announces that she owes him four
- 1:55:55Speaker 1: hundred dollars. Four hundred dollars, She asks, how the world
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: is it that much just to tell me my parakeet's dead. Well,
- 1:56:03Speaker 1: it would have been a lot cheaper, but with that
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: lab report and cat scan.
- 1:56:14Speaker 4: Okay, those are some great dad jokes. You got one more?
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: One more? What do you get when you combine a
- 1:56:21Speaker 1: rhetorical question and a joke?
- 1:56:27Speaker 4: I don't know, Oh my freaking god.
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: Okay, you can take those one home to your kids,
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: you guys. When we end this stream and we're still
- 1:56:54Speaker 1: on here. Terry's gonna like slice me. Uh, but you
- 1:56:59Speaker 1: know what, I might.
- 1:57:03Speaker 4: Be able to sleep a little better. I mean, I
- 1:57:06Speaker 4: love true crime, but damn, that was dark tonight. So
- 1:57:09Speaker 4: those jokes were a nice poet.
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: It's one of it's probably one of the darkest cases
- 1:57:16Speaker 1: I've done in quite some time.
- 1:57:19Speaker 3: It it is.
- 1:57:23Speaker 4: It's it's as dark as the Dearest Mother's Darkest Secrets
- 1:57:27Speaker 4: that we're working on about a Michella Blair who as
- 1:57:33Speaker 4: bitch as evil.
- 1:57:35Speaker 1: I believe it. I just finished narrating and recording Women
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: on Death Row Michelle Lynn Machad and that case is
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: a duo team woman man, and it is horrible. And
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: I'll just throw this out there. It involves both people's
- 1:58:04Speaker 1: children and their friends, and it is not something I
- 1:58:09Speaker 1: had ever heard about, but you will hear about it
- 1:58:13Speaker 1: in a few weeks.
- 1:58:14Speaker 4: So okay, now, yeah, Well, like the judge told us,
- 1:58:22Speaker 4: the things people will do to each other is horrific,
- 1:58:27Speaker 4: But we also have to remember there's people who do
- 1:58:30Speaker 4: a lot of good and who give lots of little
- 1:58:32Speaker 4: hugs and kisses. It like Terry's life boring if it
- 1:58:39Speaker 4: was all glitter and pink sparkles and pink champagne glasses.
- 1:58:44Speaker 1: I'm okay with one hundred percent sparkle Puss.
- 1:58:48Speaker 4: I'm finally that really, I don't think anyone could handle
- 1:58:52Speaker 4: one hundred percent of this all the timeh needs a
- 1:58:55Speaker 4: break mount then.
- 1:58:57Speaker 1: I don't know. Four days I was fine, But then again,
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: I've got a little sparkle myself. So that that's.
- 1:59:06Speaker 4: I think it was Rim sparkle or sparkle rim. We'll
- 1:59:12Speaker 4: have to ask Amber what it was. She gave you
- 1:59:15Speaker 4: something to go with my sparkle plus. Well, thank you?
- 1:59:19Speaker 4: That was dark. When are you back on live again?
- 1:59:26Speaker 1: Sunday? Sunday at eight pm for Night Court. However, however,
- 1:59:32Speaker 1: Tara producer Tara has done a wonderful job cutting and
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: editing and putting together Women on Death Row for next
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: for tomorrow at seven pm, and so that is there's
- 1:59:48Speaker 1: going to be a premiere again. It's at seven Eastern.
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: And I will tell you briefly what who the woman is?
- 1:59:59Speaker 1: Let me you just grab it reom class.
- 2:00:03Speaker 4: Uh sorry, Belle just said sparkle rim sounds dirty.
- 2:00:12Speaker 1: Sure it does. S sounds like somebody could only happen
- 2:00:15Speaker 1: in Vegas. Yeah the hell? You know what one second. Sorry,
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: this is this is a result of me not remembering
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: stuff it has Lorraine Alison Hunter. Lorraine Alison Hunter, this
- 2:00:47Speaker 1: crime involves let me just put it this way, and
- 2:00:50Speaker 1: I say this at the beginning of the show. In fact,
- 2:00:55Speaker 1: let me just give you the brief intro.
- 2:00:57Speaker 4: I would love it.
- 2:00:58Speaker 1: But the countless times love has been written and sung about,
- 2:01:02Speaker 1: it still seems that some don't understand. Love is not
- 2:01:06Speaker 1: a bullet and a gun, nor is it a life
- 2:01:08Speaker 1: insurance policy. But in the case that we're covering tomorrow
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: at seven, they got it all wrong. They were greedy,
- 2:01:18Speaker 1: they were short sighted, and they were twisted. And if
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: that wasn't enough, the love from a husband and for
- 2:01:26Speaker 1: a child was taken for granted, it was used and
- 2:01:31Speaker 1: it was shredded.
- 2:01:32Speaker 3: And that.
- 2:01:35Speaker 1: Is the case for tomorrow at seven.
- 2:01:44Speaker 4: I give us credit for one thing. We like dark shit,
- 2:01:52Speaker 4: but that helps balance all of our sparkles.
- 2:01:56Speaker 1: Because you gotta have Yeah, you do have to have
- 2:02:00Speaker 1: a nice lovely balance, which is very hard to explain
- 2:02:04Speaker 1: to my therapist.
- 2:02:06Speaker 4: Luckily, my therapist like sparkles too.
- 2:02:12Speaker 1: She's new, She'll she'll she'll come to.
- 2:02:16Speaker 4: She'll get there. Well, I did enjoy it even though
- 2:02:20Speaker 4: it was dark, but we should end. I will try
- 2:02:29Speaker 4: to pop on tomorrow night, but I might be too busy.
- 2:02:33Speaker 1: So short. It's a short video. In fact, you could
- 2:02:40Speaker 1: probably watch the video while you do that.
- 2:02:42Speaker 4: So oh.
- 2:02:46Speaker 1: So there it is all right. Well listen everybody, as
- 2:02:53Speaker 1: I always say, thank you for tuning in. Please please,
- 2:02:58Speaker 1: please take care of yourself, your fan family, your friends,
- 2:03:00Speaker 1: in your community, and don't let anybody dull that. Sparkle
- 2:03:04Speaker 1: Puss and shine on you, crazy diamonds, shine on you.
- 2:03:13Speaker 4: Now I might need to become diamond Puss. I have
- 2:03:15Speaker 4: to talk about an upgrade anyway. I was like, just say, guys,
- 2:03:20Speaker 4: stay safe. And somebody asked me why I said watch out?
- 2:03:25Speaker 4: Why I say watch out for crime, And it's because
- 2:03:29Speaker 4: if you see something, say something, and so many of
- 2:03:32Speaker 4: us don't. And that's why we need to be more
- 2:03:36Speaker 4: observant about what's around us. So that's what I mean
- 2:03:40Speaker 4: when I say watch out for crime. Just watch out, okay,
- 2:03:45Speaker 4: and obviously enjoy your wine time.
- 2:03:50Speaker 1: Bye guys, Bye everybody. We will see you. I'll see
- 2:03:53Speaker 1: you on Sunday, but we'll see you next time.
- 2:03:57Speaker 4: See you next time.
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: Think
