- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellancamps at Tamra Edge. Hi, guys,
- 0:13Speaker 1: welcome to Two Teas in a Pod with myself, Teddy
- 0:16Speaker 1: Mellancamp camera judge. We have on this week Leah McSweeney
- 0:21Speaker 1: from Real Housewives of New York. She's having a new
- 0:26Speaker 1: book coming out called Chaos Theory, Finding Meaning in the
- 0:31Speaker 1: Madness One bad decision at a time. That sounds like
- 0:34Speaker 1: a mustry, that sounds like my life. So we're excited
- 0:38Speaker 1: to have her on, ask all the questions. She also
- 0:41Speaker 1: has an incredible clothing company called Married to the Mob.
- 0:46Speaker 1: All types of things, but uh yeah, let's get her
- 0:49Speaker 1: on and start grilling. Oh my god, you guys are together.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We are. We are together in in Orange County, at
- 0:56Speaker 1: Teddy's house in Dana Point right on the ocean. M
- 0:59Speaker 1: the same exact color blonde. I don't know if it's
- 1:02Speaker 1: a lighting. It's a lighting. We have the biggest, brightest
- 1:05Speaker 1: light on our faces right now. I'm still bruised from
- 1:08Speaker 1: my facelift, my necklift, so it's like I'm talking like this, Hi,
- 1:14Speaker 1: you look great. I'm like, I want it so bad.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Where are you? I'm in the city, I'm in New York,
- 1:19Speaker 1: at your house, in my house, how's life? How's everything is? Too?
- 1:25Speaker 1: Drinking my green juice. I'm just I'm taking a mental
- 1:28Speaker 1: health day. I'm just like taking it easy today. This
- 1:30Speaker 1: is our mental health day, A green juice in a champagne.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I know you don't drink, but this is we on
- 1:36Speaker 1: on Thursdays. We drink. We have to. We do like
- 1:39Speaker 1: multiple podcasts on Thursday. So we don't have to you know, yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 1: we don't have to break that wound from being fired
- 1:45Speaker 1: Housewives repeatedly. We can simply do it on Thursdays. A
- 1:50Speaker 1: fact of being fired and feeling embarrassed about talking about
- 1:53Speaker 1: a show you're no longer on you No, I mean,
- 1:56Speaker 1: it's honestly interesting that you guys, I mean I didn't
- 1:59Speaker 1: even know you knew each other. So the fact that
- 2:01Speaker 1: you guys did this, are doing this podcast and are
- 2:04Speaker 1: becoming so successful at it so cool. We only met
- 2:08Speaker 1: like five times and then they we had like a
- 2:12Speaker 1: good connection, good connections like work out. But you know,
- 2:15Speaker 1: our husband's are both named ed, Like there was just
- 2:17Speaker 1: so much similarity. She's got a house like fifteen minutes
- 2:19Speaker 1: from me in Orange County. We met at church in
- 2:21Speaker 1: Orange County of all places. Yeah, don't really really suiting.
- 2:25Speaker 1: And then you know, we get together to talk show
- 2:28Speaker 1: and housewife. This is actually like a divine work that
- 2:31Speaker 1: you're doing. That Jesus kind of have it rolling, right, Jesus.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Jesus took the wheel talking podcast brought us together. Yeah.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Because but the first person they pitched was actually to
- 2:43Speaker 1: be my co host was Tinsley your friend and I
- 2:48Speaker 1: don't know her very well. I was like, she was,
- 2:50Speaker 1: She's really nice. I'm like, I need someone really outspoken,
- 2:54Speaker 1: like I need someone that has a touch of crazy
- 2:57Speaker 1: or okay, the truth is coming out now. I was like,
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna I just need it. I can't image in
- 3:03Speaker 1: wanting to do I don't think she would want to
- 3:05Speaker 1: do it. But that was there, like they like, we
- 3:07Speaker 1: think that Teddy and Tensley it has a nice ring
- 3:09Speaker 1: to it. And I was like, I think Teddy and Tamara.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Teddy and Tamara doesn't have a nice ring to it.
- 3:16Speaker 1: They packed me on Tenley. I came back and said, you, oh,
- 3:20Speaker 1: I can ye. She doesn't have like low voice sating
- 3:24Speaker 1: of yelling. We have to ask Lea about something, okay.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Leah Teddy claims and she claims it's about every guest.
- 3:30Speaker 1: We have, not every guest, every guest from the East Coast.
- 3:35Speaker 1: You said something about her on social media that wasn't
- 3:38Speaker 1: very flattering, and she was so ready to talk to
- 3:41Speaker 1: you about it. But now I can't find it. What
- 3:43Speaker 1: it was. I can't remember what it was. And then
- 3:45Speaker 1: I even asked the person that helps me run my
- 3:46Speaker 1: social media, I'm like, what did Leah say? I wanted
- 3:49Speaker 1: to come in hot and I cannot because I don't
- 3:52Speaker 1: have Twitter. No, it was on your ends to story.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It was something about like if I wanted to watch Housewives,
- 3:58Speaker 1: it wouldn't be ted, but something along those lines, and
- 4:01Speaker 1: I was like, damn it, I can't find it. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: don't think we did that too. She did, I would,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I would, I never like, I would never like. I
- 4:10Speaker 1: don't start ship with other housewives from other franchises, only
- 4:14Speaker 1: my own. So then we came to a conclusion that
- 4:17Speaker 1: maybe it wasn't you, because somebody sent me a message
- 4:20Speaker 1: that said I run Leah's fan account, and I think
- 4:25Speaker 1: it was me. Oh well, now the truth comes out.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Oh my god, what a fan account. I don't know
- 4:35Speaker 1: you have a fan Twitter account? And somebody runs it.
- 4:37Speaker 1: They sent me a d M. They're like, we don't know.
- 4:39Speaker 1: You thought it was Leah talking about you. Was actually yeah,
- 4:42Speaker 1: it was like Leah McSweeney but like spell drawer, who
- 4:44Speaker 1: whatever it is. But well, here we go. We got
- 4:46Speaker 1: to the bottom. We got to the bottom of it.
- 4:48Speaker 1: But it's hilarious either way. So tell us about your book.
- 4:53Speaker 1: What you said, I'm so sick of talking about a bit,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and then we're going to get to way trash your Yeah,
- 5:01Speaker 1: the book is a memoir, but it's very self reflective. Um,
- 5:06Speaker 1: it's a little prescriptive, but not really because I don't
- 5:09Speaker 1: feel like I'm anyone who should be telling anyone like
- 5:11Speaker 1: how to live their lives. Um. But you know, it
- 5:14Speaker 1: talks a lot about mental health, addiction, motherhood. I get into,
- 5:18Speaker 1: like some of my opinions on feminism and cancel culture,
- 5:21Speaker 1: and like I do that too. So it's just it's
- 5:24Speaker 1: a good book. It's a good read. People like it.
- 5:26Speaker 1: It's an easy read. If you're going on vacation soon
- 5:28Speaker 1: or whatever, by it for the summer. Is it already?
- 5:34Speaker 1: Are you doing a book tour? You're gonna come to
- 5:35Speaker 1: Orange County? I did it. I was in l a
- 5:39Speaker 1: thanks for reaching out. I mean in the way I
- 5:42Speaker 1: invited us to her show. Louanne reached out, Louie, but
- 5:46Speaker 1: you're not. But now you're not even going I'm going
- 5:48Speaker 1: to the cabaret. How was it? I was saying this yesterday?
- 5:57Speaker 1: So good if I had like one percent of Luanne's
- 6:01Speaker 1: self confidence when this woman like like we know that,
- 6:07Speaker 1: Like it's not like she's got a voice from heaven, right,
- 6:11Speaker 1: I mean, this is not a voice of an angel
- 6:14Speaker 1: exactly rhymes Oh my god, Brandy's gonna kill you, Brandy Lesliann.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Someone told me I looked like Leanne rhymes, but you
- 6:25Speaker 1: do not, I mean the I mean the new version
- 6:29Speaker 1: of Leanne rhymes. Ish, Okay, got it? I mean I
- 6:33Speaker 1: have kind of also, But like so um Luanne, when
- 6:38Speaker 1: she gets on and she's performing in front of everyone,
- 6:41Speaker 1: she comes alive. I mean she she basks in that
- 6:44Speaker 1: attention and like just putting on a show, and she
- 6:48Speaker 1: does that, you know what, She makes so many people happy.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Like when I was at her show, I was like
- 6:51Speaker 1: watching everyone. They love it. They're like the contess I
- 6:54Speaker 1: mean they're like crazy, like it's really it's a really
- 6:57Speaker 1: great experience. Now if I tried that they are be
- 7:00Speaker 1: booed off stage, sit down your more on. I show
- 7:04Speaker 1: my hands in an ends to to story and I'm attacked,
- 7:07Speaker 1: like I can't even imagine. Oh my god, isn't what
- 7:11Speaker 1: do you mean? I talked with my hands like always,
- 7:15Speaker 1: and people are like, man hands disgusting. You should be
- 7:19Speaker 1: ashamed of those hands. And I'm like, you know what,
- 7:22Speaker 1: I kind of am, but like you all now, I
- 7:24Speaker 1: am the things the things you think about. Remember when
- 7:28Speaker 1: people harassing Tile about her hands, they were like going
- 7:31Speaker 1: off on her. Remember there was a picture of her
- 7:33Speaker 1: hands or something. Well, I I do not have pretty hands.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I like literally just had filler put on the top
- 7:39Speaker 1: of my hands. And I'm starting to get insecure about it.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I've had old hands since I was in high school.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Like I remember my girlfriend in high school going why
- 7:46Speaker 1: do your hands look so old? So it's like, I
- 7:48Speaker 1: don't know why that it does. But it's a being
- 7:51Speaker 1: that women like to pick on other women about because
- 7:55Speaker 1: of us probably don't have a hand modeling hands. We
- 7:58Speaker 1: would like to see your hands, and my hands are
- 8:00Speaker 1: pretty nice all you have long, nice finger. You know
- 8:04Speaker 1: who has beautiful hands? Vicky Gana the most beautiful hands.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I'm always so jealous of them. Whatever, but you know what,
- 8:12Speaker 1: I have other great things you do. It's like a
- 8:19Speaker 1: golden pussy. We're two for two on getting people to
- 8:23Speaker 1: say pussy on the podcast. First, I have to tell
- 8:37Speaker 1: everyone this story about Tamra, that what this woman did
- 8:42Speaker 1: to me. She try to make out with you, no
- 8:44Speaker 1: I wish. So she starts sending me her CBD, which
- 8:48Speaker 1: I was very grateful for because I'm all about it.
- 8:50Speaker 1: So I'm taking the cb D. I'm like so happy,
- 8:53Speaker 1: like I want to, you know. I'm like, oh my god,
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm so special. Even tam Or judges not sending me.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I'll send you more. Then I get more in and
- 9:02Speaker 1: it says it's melotonin um cb D gummies and I'm like,
- 9:06Speaker 1: oh yeah, I love gummies and they're you know, tasty,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and I can whatever. So i have one and I'm like,
- 9:10Speaker 1: oh god, they taste so good. I'm having a few more.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Take a few more. Get on the phone with this
- 9:15Speaker 1: guy that I met on Hinge. Just was like, this
- 9:17Speaker 1: is a couple of years ago, and all of a
- 9:19Speaker 1: sudden I feel high. As I know where you're going
- 9:23Speaker 1: with this. I'm like and I and I pick up
- 9:26Speaker 1: the package and I'm like, oh my god, there's th HD.
- 9:31Speaker 1: But was it not the best high you ever had?
- 9:34Speaker 1: It's really fun. Actually it was a fun high. I
- 9:36Speaker 1: don't know why, but it was, like, really, it was great.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I probably should have told my office staff, like like,
- 9:41Speaker 1: you need to read. You need to let people known
- 9:45Speaker 1: to read the room if somebody is not doing it,
- 9:47Speaker 1: or maybe that sent him some t It was fine
- 9:50Speaker 1: because at the time I was smoking weed. I'm not anymore.
- 9:52Speaker 1: But it was good. It was fine. It's just like
- 9:55Speaker 1: I wasn't ready for it. I wanted to sleep, but
- 9:58Speaker 1: instead I was like stoned, laughing. And my girlfriend did
- 10:01Speaker 1: the same thing. She took She's like, oh, these are good.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Sheok like three of them. Then she had to go
- 10:04Speaker 1: pick up her kids and she's like I'm so stoned,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I can't even And I'm like, well, you're not supposed
- 10:09Speaker 1: to take this seat where these are the type of
- 10:11Speaker 1: things we can travel before Tampa And this is the headline,
- 10:14Speaker 1: Tamara takes kids. Don't know. I didn't. I said I
- 10:18Speaker 1: had friends. Now you gotta let her kids. Now you
- 10:21Speaker 1: want to try if a CBD with a code twats you?
- 10:25Speaker 1: Oh that is true code twats um. Okay, so we
- 10:28Speaker 1: have to talk a little bit of real house lives
- 10:31Speaker 1: of New York. What is going on? Well, no, first,
- 10:34Speaker 1: even they want us to over start with what was
- 10:37Speaker 1: the beginning? How did you get cast or, if Ema
- 10:40Speaker 1: likes to say in improper English, casted, how do I
- 10:44Speaker 1: get casted? I got past it because so Bethnie Frankel
- 10:50Speaker 1: followed me on Instagram because on my old podcast that
- 10:53Speaker 1: I used to have, I had this like little section
- 10:56Speaker 1: called funk Boy of the Week and I made her
- 10:58Speaker 1: ex husband or husband and I guess at the time,
- 11:00Speaker 1: but they were separated and there are they divorced yet?
- 11:04Speaker 1: I think they're finally divorced. Um. So I called him
- 11:07Speaker 1: the boy of the week at one point, and she
- 11:09Speaker 1: started following me on Instagram, and then I followed her back.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Did she send you a nasty message about that? No?
- 11:16Speaker 1: I think she was. She probably liked it. They were
- 11:19Speaker 1: already breaking up. She's so intense that I don't know
- 11:21Speaker 1: what's going to piss her off or what's going to
- 11:23Speaker 1: make her happy, But she was pretty happy that. Like
- 11:25Speaker 1: I was, like, he's the bad guy, you know or whatever.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Wait wait, wait, what does I thought that somebody want
- 11:31Speaker 1: to No, I don't know. Why do you have to
- 11:34Speaker 1: be so much older than I am ten years older
- 11:38Speaker 1: than you? A way is not good. That's like a
- 11:44Speaker 1: whack dude that you don't want to date. Like he's
- 11:47Speaker 1: not not a good boy. Is worse than like as
- 11:50Speaker 1: we than bench boy. Okay, Well the things I learned
- 11:53Speaker 1: on this boy is somebody who makes you believe they're
- 11:56Speaker 1: good and they're going to be a good person to you,
- 11:58Speaker 1: and then they few over not like they not like okay, okay,
- 12:06Speaker 1: so she was happy about it. Some things we gotta
- 12:09Speaker 1: and we really gotta spell it out. I'm in a
- 12:11Speaker 1: different decade in you. You don't look at them, and
- 12:14Speaker 1: that's what's so except for a year. A year later,
- 12:22Speaker 1: my facialists who I've been seeing since I'm like twenty
- 12:25Speaker 1: years old, um to hit me up and she was like,
- 12:29Speaker 1: long story short, Bethany's one of my clients. She wants
- 12:31Speaker 1: to know if she can give you, uh, give your
- 12:35Speaker 1: names to the casting people. And I was like, yeah, sure,
- 12:37Speaker 1: like being like why are they gonna cast me? Like
- 12:39Speaker 1: I'm not like I'm not rich, like I'm not their age.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I don't go to the everyst side I'm nothing like them.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I don't see how this could ever work. Ever. Were
- 12:48Speaker 1: you a fan of the show at that point, so
- 12:51Speaker 1: you know, I was a fan of Jersey and Beverly Hills. Yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 1: New York. I had watched, but I hadn't watched it
- 12:57Speaker 1: in a while. Like I had watched it when like
- 13:00Speaker 1: Luanne and Tom were like, yeah, because that was like
- 13:05Speaker 1: really good TV. Um, but I hadn't watched it in
- 13:08Speaker 1: a while. Um. But Jersey and Beverly Hills, yeah, those
- 13:12Speaker 1: are good. And we're also obsessed with Miami. So my best,
- 13:17Speaker 1: the best scene ever with you is running naked with
- 13:19Speaker 1: the torches. Torches, I mean, because I love a house.
- 13:22Speaker 1: But I didn't get naked on camera because that's my
- 13:24Speaker 1: go to, like if I get drunk, be careful later
- 13:28Speaker 1: I take my clothes off. My husband's like, my husband's like, babe, please,
- 13:32Speaker 1: when you drink, can you please stop? And licks you
- 13:36Speaker 1: and then yes, oh my god, could be around you drunk.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You sound so much fun. She's pretty much her all
- 13:45Speaker 1: the time, unless she's like angry Tam then it's a
- 13:47Speaker 1: little bit different. By the way, I also watched a
- 13:50Speaker 1: lot of like o C, like early o C and
- 13:53Speaker 1: even like not early oh C Like I was watching
- 13:55Speaker 1: that also so liked respect. So who's your all time
- 13:59Speaker 1: And obviously you can't say Tamar because she's sitting here.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I know you wouldn't say me because no one in
- 14:03Speaker 1: the right mind would. But it was your all time favorite.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I was your all time favorite housewife Teresa Judais currently,
- 14:13Speaker 1: Oh it's not it's not about currently she having a
- 14:16Speaker 1: great did she have a great season this season? Like
- 14:19Speaker 1: did she do all things that? I'm like, I love
- 14:21Speaker 1: you for this because you're right and whatever. No, she's good.
- 14:25Speaker 1: What she's given us is crazy, Like I can't, like,
- 14:29Speaker 1: there's no other scenes that make me cry out of
- 14:31Speaker 1: all the franchises, like when I like see the montage
- 14:35Speaker 1: of like her dad and her mom and like everything
- 14:37Speaker 1: you're infested moving out of the house, like I'm watching
- 14:40Speaker 1: I cry her coming home from prison, Like what housewife
- 14:44Speaker 1: has come home from prison? I hope, I hope no
- 14:47Speaker 1: one else we know? Well, no, I don't want to.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I mean there's a lot of mug shots. There's a
- 14:52Speaker 1: decent amount of mugshot. Ever want to go to prison?
- 14:54Speaker 1: Do you have a mug shot or no mugshot? Yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 1: it's not cute. I feel like I saw did you
- 15:00Speaker 1: ever been arrested? No? I mean sure I was gonna
- 15:03Speaker 1: get arrested when I threw that wine in Gina's face
- 15:05Speaker 1: that one season. For sure. I literally went home like,
- 15:10Speaker 1: didn't take my makeup OFX, put my hair up on
- 15:12Speaker 1: the pillow, and I'm like, if I'm gonna get arrested,
- 15:14Speaker 1: I want to have a good mic shot. Yeah, very important,
- 15:18Speaker 1: because I was convinced, well, if you're somebody, you know,
- 15:21Speaker 1: some people have multiple and then they have you know,
- 15:23Speaker 1: some are good. So I'm not so good. I think
- 15:26Speaker 1: we have to strive for you didn't get to like,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I feel like you didn't get to have fun on
- 15:31Speaker 1: the show. Am I wrong? That? Essentially what happened was
- 15:34Speaker 1: I came on the show. Um, I didn't know anybody
- 15:39Speaker 1: at all, not a not a drop. I was at
- 15:42Speaker 1: least ten years younger than everybody. And then they paired
- 15:46Speaker 1: me as like Lisa vander Pump as my bestie, and
- 15:51Speaker 1: so it was a very awkward, awkward actually you know,
- 15:54Speaker 1: like we're going to tea. I've never had tea in
- 15:56Speaker 1: my life. Like there was just you know, in the
- 16:00Speaker 1: champagne and the shot, like the tea and then they're
- 16:02Speaker 1: like caviare and I'm like, listen. I was born in
- 16:05Speaker 1: Indiana and grew up in South Carolina. I don't eat caviare.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I don't drink tea, dad, And I really and I
- 16:13Speaker 1: did not watch Beverly Hills. I simply did the show
- 16:16Speaker 1: because I accidentally signed up for a show that I
- 16:19Speaker 1: really didn't want to do it. And I called c
- 16:21Speaker 1: A and begged them to get me out of that contract,
- 16:23Speaker 1: and they said, we could probably do that for you,
- 16:26Speaker 1: but would you do housewives? And then they asked me,
- 16:28Speaker 1: would you rather do Oh See or Beverly Hills? And
- 16:31Speaker 1: I said, what do you recommend because I have a
- 16:34Speaker 1: housewoth places And they said, well, Beverly Hills that normally
- 16:38Speaker 1: is better for people's businesses and stuff and they don't
- 16:40Speaker 1: normally get into physical altercations that you were afraid of me. Yeah,
- 16:45Speaker 1: And so that's that's cut to. That's where it was.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And then you know, the only time they really showed
- 16:51Speaker 1: me having fun, which was like you know, when you
- 16:53Speaker 1: were drunk, when it was when I was drunk. And
- 16:55Speaker 1: then let's back that up. The only time you would
- 16:59Speaker 1: let your guard down because you're very controlled, but also
- 17:03Speaker 1: we have to talk about something that's yes for sure,
- 17:06Speaker 1: But I mean I am able to do it here
- 17:09Speaker 1: because I trust you. If I don't trust the people
- 17:12Speaker 1: that I'm with, it's very hard for me to have
- 17:14Speaker 1: fun because I feel like everyone's out to get me.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I get it, and I think that when you're in
- 17:21Speaker 1: a setting with a bunch of people and you have
- 17:24Speaker 1: to have a show made, and you know that you
- 17:26Speaker 1: have four hours and somebody needs to get this point
- 17:29Speaker 1: across in those four hours, I would always do it
- 17:33Speaker 1: because you know what the audience even though like some
- 17:37Speaker 1: of the audience was like I know you and Eric,
- 17:40Speaker 1: did you and Erica have like right? And like everyone
- 17:42Speaker 1: used to love Ariga, now everyone hates Erica and like
- 17:46Speaker 1: what they I mean they do like she's getting it.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I mean it's crazy, like I actually I feel terrible
- 17:51Speaker 1: for her, Like I can't. It's almost like because you
- 17:53Speaker 1: know what, it's not even about did she do this
- 17:55Speaker 1: or did she not do this. I don't get pleasure
- 17:58Speaker 1: out of watching someone's life like go through something bad,
- 18:02Speaker 1: like whether she like did this or not did this
- 18:04Speaker 1: or knew about it? I don't know. Well the public eye,
- 18:07Speaker 1: she's guilty already and they don't even really know. That's
- 18:09Speaker 1: what's it's like like back in the like Roman times,
- 18:13Speaker 1: when they used to put like a person in the
- 18:15Speaker 1: like stadium with like a lion, and people will be
- 18:17Speaker 1: like eat her out, Like that's like what it's like
- 18:21Speaker 1: on the show. Sometimes. Well, I think that's why we
- 18:24Speaker 1: all like Jersey so much, is because all of them
- 18:27Speaker 1: are ship shows, and ship is going on in all
- 18:32Speaker 1: so many different people's lives that it doesn't just have
- 18:35Speaker 1: to focus on one. I feel like sometimes in New York,
- 18:38Speaker 1: sometimes in Beverly Hills, it's one person, one storyline the
- 18:42Speaker 1: entire season, and it's just you're beating a dead horse. Well,
- 18:48Speaker 1: I think I think at least season twelve, I mean
- 18:52Speaker 1: season thirteam like I it was a ship show. But
- 18:54Speaker 1: season twelve, I feel like there were many storylines going on,
- 18:59Speaker 1: you know, which is your first season, that was my
- 19:02Speaker 1: first season. I love that, like Tinsley versus Dorenda, me
- 19:06Speaker 1: versus Ramona, like like Luanne something I don't know, Luann
- 19:10Speaker 1: and Cabaret whatever, like Tonya, like I don't even know
- 19:14Speaker 1: doing her a little stick, you know, But there was
- 19:17Speaker 1: multiple things going on, not just like there's a lawsuit.
- 19:20Speaker 1: And that's what every single dinner is going to be about. Everything, everything,
- 19:24Speaker 1: all it is. It's it's exhausting. So speaking of who
- 19:28Speaker 1: do you like? Where is the show going on? Like?
- 19:32Speaker 1: Who who's going on Legacy? Do you have any idea
- 19:35Speaker 1: any I honestly really don't have any updates? Um you know,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I mean they I don't know. I'm not sure. I well,
- 19:46Speaker 1: if they keep you, they're going to keep you on
- 19:47Speaker 1: the new one. They're not gonna be on the Legacy.
- 19:49Speaker 1: You weren't on long enough to go to Legacy. I
- 19:50Speaker 1: would think that they would keep you. And are you
- 19:52Speaker 1: close with Ebony? Um? I haven't talked to any ebany
- 19:58Speaker 1: in a while. Do you talk to any of the
- 20:01Speaker 1: cast members? I talked to Luanne, I talked to Tinsley,
- 20:06Speaker 1: I talked to Dorinda um Ramona I talked to like
- 20:12Speaker 1: once in a while, like but not I don't even
- 20:16Speaker 1: touch with her, you know what I mean? But like
- 20:18Speaker 1: we're fine, um Sonia, I have lost touch with I
- 20:22Speaker 1: actually am like annoyed with I mean not like I
- 20:24Speaker 1: would harbor resentment or whatever, like I'm over it. But
- 20:28Speaker 1: she like said all this like nasty stuff about like
- 20:30Speaker 1: me and Tinsley that the Diamonds and Rose book, like
- 20:33Speaker 1: she just she said she was going. She basically used
- 20:36Speaker 1: it as a way to just like shoot on Tinsley
- 20:37Speaker 1: and that pistch Um, what do you think that beef
- 20:42Speaker 1: was actually really about? It can't be about not getting
- 20:45Speaker 1: a proper thank you for staying at her apartment? Like what,
- 20:49Speaker 1: It's jealousy. It's absolute jealousy because like Sonia was married
- 20:55Speaker 1: to a Morgan and she wanted that lifestyle so badly.
- 20:58Speaker 1: That and Tinsley is from that, you know, like she's
- 21:02Speaker 1: that's her life. Now I have a question for you. Um,
- 21:15Speaker 1: you know, obviously Teddy and I not on the show anymore.
- 21:19Speaker 1: It took us a while to process it, especially me
- 21:21Speaker 1: because I was on it for twelve years. Um, did
- 21:24Speaker 1: you go through that when you found out that the
- 21:26Speaker 1: show you know, was up in the air and you
- 21:27Speaker 1: don't know what's going on? Did you have that like
- 21:30Speaker 1: you know, almost like depression? I mean I like to
- 21:34Speaker 1: deal with depressional all this time. So honestly, was it
- 21:38Speaker 1: a trigger or was it just like no, Big Dilla
- 21:40Speaker 1: had fun, I had fun. I was like kind of
- 21:43Speaker 1: I think like I needed a break. Yeah, So like
- 21:47Speaker 1: because I think so much happened in those two years
- 21:50Speaker 1: with me, like the pandemic, being on a TV show,
- 21:55Speaker 1: being like thrust into like this you know, dog or not,
- 22:00Speaker 1: like this pop culture phenomenon, my grandmother dying, dealing with
- 22:04Speaker 1: the pandemic, dealing with depression issues that I was having.
- 22:07Speaker 1: So I needed like I needed a break. But so,
- 22:11Speaker 1: but don't you feel like the show is kind of
- 22:13Speaker 1: like a drug. Um, I think it can be for
- 22:17Speaker 1: some people. I think it's your whole life, like if
- 22:20Speaker 1: you have friends and relationships outside of the show. Yeah,
- 22:24Speaker 1: I think everybody has friends relations outside of this show.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I don't I think that there are some housewives that
- 22:30Speaker 1: their entire being friends outside of the show. I'm not
- 22:33Speaker 1: saying no, I'm saying I don't think. I think there
- 22:36Speaker 1: are some housewives that their entire life is wrapped around
- 22:39Speaker 1: their show. Their friends are their glam team, their friends
- 22:42Speaker 1: are their assistants, their friends like there's nothing they're all
- 22:45Speaker 1: yes people. I think that like that happened to me,
- 22:50Speaker 1: Like that was happening to me because you are around
- 22:52Speaker 1: your glamp and by the way, I love them, and
- 22:54Speaker 1: you know, but I was making like, you know, there
- 22:55Speaker 1: are new people there are yes people there are like
- 22:58Speaker 1: people that are kind of like around sound. And I
- 23:01Speaker 1: think that like this last like year that we haven't
- 23:04Speaker 1: been filming has been good for me because it's like,
- 23:06Speaker 1: you know, I have my streetwear brand, Like I had
- 23:09Speaker 1: this whole life like before I like got on the
- 23:11Speaker 1: show that like almost disappeared in a way because I
- 23:14Speaker 1: didn't have time for anything exactly. Andy said, and you know,
- 23:18Speaker 1: not to bring up something crappy, but I have to um.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Andy said, your turnaround from being the most loved to
- 23:26Speaker 1: one of the most hated and one season was incredible,
- 23:30Speaker 1: something he had never seen. What do you think it was?
- 23:34Speaker 1: I have no idea. I don't know what I did.
- 23:36Speaker 1: And also like, don't it's not necessarily a bad thing though,
- 23:42Speaker 1: I mean, like, and he always says, like they can
- 23:44Speaker 1: love to hate you, but when they hate to hate you,
- 23:46Speaker 1: that's when you're done. Like if they're talking about you
- 23:48Speaker 1: and they have an opinion about you, like this housepice
- 23:50Speaker 1: out there that people have zero opinion about, and I'm like,
- 23:52Speaker 1: why are they on the show? Nobody gets a ship
- 23:54Speaker 1: if they have a strong opinion about you, that's not horrible.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I have like a theory that like people. We're so
- 24:02Speaker 1: upset about the show last season because it wasn't like
- 24:06Speaker 1: fun and light and like whatever escapism that they wanted,
- 24:10Speaker 1: and they pinned it on me. Why I have no idea,
- 24:14Speaker 1: um because I wanted to have fun but I couldn't
- 24:17Speaker 1: because we were talking about very serious things that were
- 24:20Speaker 1: not that were not my ideas to talk about. But
- 24:23Speaker 1: if we're talking about them, I'm going to act accordingly.
- 24:26Speaker 1: And if we're talking about racism, I'm not going to
- 24:29Speaker 1: get up and get naked and frotiqui torches. I'm just
- 24:31Speaker 1: not doing It's not that it's not the time. It's
- 24:35Speaker 1: a horrible time to fill them across the board for
- 24:37Speaker 1: every show out there, every show, And I think, me,
- 24:39Speaker 1: it was a horrible time to live, like is fucked up,
- 24:43Speaker 1: Like it's like my birthday is coming up, like I
- 24:45Speaker 1: don't even want I don't feel like celebrating, Like I
- 24:47Speaker 1: just don't like we're not there like yet, like you know.
- 24:51Speaker 1: So it's just I think, I think, like maybe I
- 24:55Speaker 1: seemed drastically different from one season to the next. For me,
- 24:58Speaker 1: I was still me. But I'm just I'm behaving a
- 25:01Speaker 1: certain way in a certain environment that's much different than
- 25:04Speaker 1: the environment the season before, and I wouldn't have done
- 25:08Speaker 1: anything different. The only thing I wish is that I
- 25:11Speaker 1: wish that they had showed more because when I was
- 25:13Speaker 1: grieving my grandmother, which I didn't even really get to
- 25:15Speaker 1: do because I was working. Um, I went from like
- 25:18Speaker 1: being angry and then sad, angry sad, angry sad, and
- 25:21Speaker 1: they only showed me being angry. They didn't show my sadness,
- 25:25Speaker 1: so then it just looked like I was an angry bitch.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I've had many seasons like that, not great Grandmother, but
- 25:32Speaker 1: just they like, if you're going through a bad time
- 25:34Speaker 1: in your life, and as I say, like you could
- 25:36Speaker 1: have one good season, one bad season, one, you can
- 25:38Speaker 1: have one good episode. We that's we always say you're
- 25:41Speaker 1: only as good as last week's episode because you have
- 25:43Speaker 1: no idea what's gonna turn exactly some wrong thing. And
- 25:47Speaker 1: then they're not going to show and people say, is
- 25:50Speaker 1: the show fake? Is it scripted? And I say no,
- 25:52Speaker 1: but they can edit you by only showing a certain
- 25:56Speaker 1: part of you, and if we only see a certain
- 25:58Speaker 1: part of you, it may not be your most likable part. Yeah.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Also it's like I really don't like I mean, I
- 26:06Speaker 1: had like Rihanna comes to my defense. I know I
- 26:08Speaker 1: was gonna ask you that, Like don't I'm like, oh great,
- 26:13Speaker 1: like all these like like lame like psychos like on
- 26:16Speaker 1: my Instagram or like you're the worst. I'm like Rihanna
- 26:19Speaker 1: likes me, so I know it really doesn't matter. How
- 26:22Speaker 1: did you find out about the New York News that
- 26:25Speaker 1: they were going to go in a different direction? Um?
- 26:28Speaker 1: I got a phone call. Were you surprised? Um? I
- 26:33Speaker 1: am not surprised. You know what something was coming. I
- 26:36Speaker 1: just felt like something had to happen. Probably, you know,
- 26:41Speaker 1: do you have anything else in the works as far
- 26:43Speaker 1: as TV stuff? Um, that's a maybe she's pausing. She
- 26:50Speaker 1: doesn't know what she's allowed to say. I'm not allowed
- 26:53Speaker 1: to say. Okay, Um, and then just kind of I know,
- 26:56Speaker 1: running out of time, but just give us updates like
- 26:58Speaker 1: on how your daughter is, how's your life like all
- 27:00Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. Um, Kiki is amazing. She's turning
- 27:05Speaker 1: fifteen next month. She's I know, she got sewing recently,
- 27:11Speaker 1: which I'm really happy on. She made these super cool
- 27:14Speaker 1: like camo like mask things like that you put over
- 27:18Speaker 1: your head, like I can never pronounce it. The balat Cova.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I always say back lava, but that's like that's a
- 27:23Speaker 1: goat cheese. No black la ba is like the no
- 27:29Speaker 1: bank blah blah. It's like goat cheese inside of like
- 27:32Speaker 1: a little that's not. Oh no, we were like dumb
- 27:37Speaker 1: and dumber right now, it's like a what is a
- 27:42Speaker 1: It's a It's like a dessert. It's a great dessert.
- 27:47Speaker 1: But I also have it at Koi and make it
- 27:49Speaker 1: pretend it's an appetizer and has cheese on it, and
- 27:52Speaker 1: it's like, yeah, okay, well, anyway, keep making amazing masks,
- 27:57Speaker 1: not goat cheese tarts tarts or anything. And she's doing awesome.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Rob is great. He's like working on his art and um,
- 28:08Speaker 1: everything is good. I'm excited for the summer, like it's
- 28:11Speaker 1: been a long ass winter and yeah, more stuff coming.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I'm going to be in New York next month, so
- 28:18Speaker 1: we STI have to hook up, go to dinner or something.
- 28:20Speaker 1: They're having the Ultimate Girls Trip premier party in New
- 28:24Speaker 1: York in New York. Yes, yes, I can wait to
- 28:28Speaker 1: watch that. It's gonna be I'm afraid. I'm so excited.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Right It was one of those things where you're off
- 28:35Speaker 1: TV for almost two years and you get back on
- 28:37Speaker 1: and then you're surrounding with a bunch of girls that
- 28:39Speaker 1: you don't really I knew Dorenda, but most of them
- 28:41Speaker 1: I didn't really know. And um, you know, you get
- 28:44Speaker 1: back on it. You're like, this is good, we got this.
- 28:47Speaker 1: And I'm like, there's cameras everywhere, Like even like Vicky
- 28:50Speaker 1: and I drunk at three in the morning eating cold
- 28:52Speaker 1: pizza and not realizing what we're talking about, and there's
- 28:55Speaker 1: cameras on the walls. I'm like, ah, like, ship, what
- 28:58Speaker 1: did we say? So I know we can ask you
- 29:01Speaker 1: just brought it up. Do you think that last season
- 29:05Speaker 1: was problematic because there was no Dorinda? Oh? I think
- 29:09Speaker 1: that was an issue. But I don't think even Dorinda
- 29:11Speaker 1: could have saved last season. Even Bethany, like, no one,
- 29:14Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. I mean maybe if we had like
- 29:16Speaker 1: eight women and we were I don't know. I think
- 29:20Speaker 1: people just didn't like the like it was just a
- 29:22Speaker 1: horrible time, horrible time, horrible time. We have to play
- 29:25Speaker 1: one last game we play with every single guest. Um,
- 29:30Speaker 1: first question, if it's got to be men or women,
- 29:32Speaker 1: you're gonna have to pick from. So, but you're gonna
- 29:36Speaker 1: have to tell us do you want men or women?
- 29:39Speaker 1: Like it's gonna be kiss Mary, It's gonna be Mary
- 29:42Speaker 1: Kelver done. A combination, A combination from anybody from New York.
- 29:49Speaker 1: It can be of the boyfriends or the housewives, or
- 29:52Speaker 1: if anybody was married that you know. I'm so confused
- 29:56Speaker 1: right now. Okay, so the question is, would you shou
- 30:00Speaker 1: I could marry kill? Oh got it? But you guys
- 30:02Speaker 1: picked the people. No, no, you have to pick them
- 30:05Speaker 1: from your from your cast. But it could be their
- 30:08Speaker 1: boyfriends or them. Oh okay, cool. Um I would Mary kill?
- 30:15Speaker 1: I would like probably Luanne. I love it, Dalen, it's over,
- 30:26Speaker 1: that's all right. I just feel like she's probably very
- 30:29Speaker 1: sensual in bed and whatever. Um I would marry that's
- 30:36Speaker 1: a hard one. That's really hard. I mean I wouldn't
- 30:39Speaker 1: marry Tom. No, No, it's these are this is a
- 30:43Speaker 1: lot of she's from. Maybe I would um marry. There's
- 30:49Speaker 1: not about the husband's that show. I don't know. I
- 30:54Speaker 1: can can I play a different game? Well, just get
- 30:56Speaker 1: that one? Is there somebody married? Are you killing? Are
- 30:59Speaker 1: you killing? Or disappearing? Sometimes we have to say disappeared,
- 31:03Speaker 1: So like, oh my god, I know I don't know,
- 31:06Speaker 1: like probably, I don't know. I feel like she wants
- 31:10Speaker 1: to say, Sonya set about it. Well, that was nice
- 31:16Speaker 1: of you, Yes, but Mary Tinsley, you always just ruined
- 31:23Speaker 1: a friendship there. But then you remember, do you have
- 31:25Speaker 1: any regrets and anything that has ever happened on the show. Um,
- 31:31Speaker 1: I really don't like to have regrets. I don't see
- 31:34Speaker 1: in it. It's like this is like that's what it
- 31:36Speaker 1: is like any lessons, right yeah? Ead Yeah, regrets are
- 31:40Speaker 1: pointless and U this is a fan question. Final one,
- 31:46Speaker 1: what is your biggest fashion mistake you made on the show? Honestly,
- 31:52Speaker 1: even my even my fashion mistakes were like great moments
- 31:56Speaker 1: because you wanted to read. Both had one that I
- 32:00Speaker 1: really had a little bit of a rough time with. Yeah.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I really don't like the I do I have an issue.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I have textual issues. I have hand issues. Both of
- 32:09Speaker 1: you guys in the gloves really Salt Lake City girls
- 32:13Speaker 1: were wearing gloves at the reunion. I don't do well
- 32:15Speaker 1: with it. But I did it first. You did, and
- 32:18Speaker 1: like two years ago I did. I did it, and
- 32:21Speaker 1: they're just now coming out with it. Yeah, I did first.
- 32:24Speaker 1: It might not have been as expensive as Derek's hand
- 32:28Speaker 1: a glife. It might not have beend ball or whatever
- 32:32Speaker 1: she was wearing, but but you worked it and you
- 32:36Speaker 1: were first, and that's all that matters. Thank you. It
- 32:38Speaker 1: was that was a crazy look. That was definitely crazy look. Well,
- 32:41Speaker 1: we thank you so much for joining us. You're such
- 32:44Speaker 1: a pleasure. We had so much fun with you. You guys,
- 32:46Speaker 1: make sure that you purchase chaos theory, finding meaning and madness.
- 32:52Speaker 1: One decision, one bad decision at a time, a K.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Tamra's life. That's my mom and uh, go ahead and
- 32:59Speaker 1: follow Liam McSweeney and thank you guys for tuning in.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Yes and I'll hook. I'll give you a call when
- 33:04Speaker 1: I get to New York. Yes, please do Yes? Okay,
- 33:07Speaker 1: h only, yes so much
